UPDATE: 500-Hour Blackhawk H-60 Pilot, Rebecca Lobach, Failed to See & Avoid American Eagle 5342

Michael 'Rocket' Blackstone, a 43 year pilot, 26 year airline pilot, and aerobatic performer and stunt pilot describes what he feels to be the likely causes of the unthinkable....a midair collision between a military H-60 and an airliner. This is the first midair collision on US soil since the Aeromexico crash in Southern California in 1986 - some 38 years ago. The likely cause is now pointing toward the 28 year old female pilot, Captain Rebecca Lobach, who was at the controls of the H-60 with only 500 hours of flight time was allegedly taking a competency check ride with Chief Warrant Officer Andrew Eaves, 39 was evaluating her had only 1,000 hours. The pair failed to see and avoid traffic called out by Washington Tower after stating that they had the traffic in sight. Clearly the H-60 crew did not have the traffic in sight, failed to fly at or below the required 200' altitude on the route, and are the likely cause of 67 people losing their lives. My heart and prayers go out to everyone involved in this horrible aviation tragedy. I hope this never happens again.

Trump Admin Fires Coast Guard Commandant Adm. Linda Fagan, Citing Border Failures And ‘Leadership Deficiencies’

Trump administration officials have fired Coast Guard Commandant Adm. Linda Fagan over her failure to address border security concerns, her focus on DEI initiatives, and her consistent “leadership deficiencies.”

The now-former Coast Guard commandant was personally terminated by Benjamine Huffman, the acting secretary of Homeland Security, according to Fox News.

The outlet spoke with a senior Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official, who confirmed that Fagan’s leadership devolved into an “erosion of trust” within the Coast Guard.

The erosion of trust was in large part due to the cover-up of Operation Foul Anchor, which was an internal investigation regarding sexual assault cases at the Coast Guard Academy.

Fagan was previously pressed by senators as to why she withheld requested documents and failed to hold those involved accountable during a hearing relating to Operation Fouled Anchor.

The DHS official, who wished to remain anonymous, stated that the investigation showcased a “leadership culture” within the branch, being unwilling to protect service members and ensure complete transparency.

Fagan was specifically accused of mismanaging Coast Guard assets to effectively support border security efforts, including the seizure of fentanyl and other illegal substances. She also reportedly fell short at recruiting a necessary number of Coast Guard personnel, which overall “weakened the operational readiness” of the branch.

The Trump administration’s decision to fire Fagan signals that even more are to follow, as Trump previously vowed to expel all “woke” generals and military officials who aren’t fulfilling their duties successfully, and those who have prioritized DEI initiatives over skillset, intellect, and achievements.

“I got to know the real fighting generals. There’s no ‘woke’ in the military. There’s ‘woke’ at the top,” Trump stated last summer.

“They want there to be woke, but these guys aren’t meant for woke. I would fire them. You can’t have a woke military,” he added.

Trump’s defense secretary nominee, Pete Hegseth, similarly echoed Trump’s sentiments.

“I talked to dozens and dozens of actively serving men and women, junior enlisted, high-ranking officers, and they all say the same thing,” Hegseth stated. “We’re walking on eggshells. There’s no accountability. The standards are being lowered, slowly eroded to conform to woke Marxist ideologies the Democrat politicians have pushed into the Pentagon. Pentagon should be the biggest meritocracy in the world. Instead, it’s a social experiment.”

“We all wore green together. We all bleed red together. Who you slept with is not the issue… The issue is how good are you at your job? And are you being promoted because you’re the best rifleman, or you’re the best pilot, or you’re the best tank commander? Not are you the first to do this or are you the first that? And that’s a story I tell time and time again,” he added.

Fagan was the first woman to lead any branch of the U.S. military, serving as the 27th Commandant of the Coast Guard beginning on June 1st, 2022.

The 58-year-old man accused of attempting to assassinate Donald Trump after camping out for 12 hours and aiming his firearm in the direction of Trump’s Secret Service agents while waiting for the former president to walk into his line of sight has pleaded not guilty to all of his charges.

On Monday, Ryan Wesley Routh pleaded not guilty to five charges, which includes the assassination attempt, federal gun charges, and the assault of an officer.

Routh faces charges of attempted assassination of a major presidential candidate, possessing a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence, assaulting a federal officer, possession of a firearm and ammunition and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.

“Yes, your honor,” Routh said, before his lawyer entered the not guilty plea on his behalf.

Initially, Routh had been hit solely with federal weapons possession charges. However, a day after the letter was released, where he openly discussed his plan to kill Trump, Routh was finally handed the assassination attempt charges.

“This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump but I failed you,” the eerie letter read.

“I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster. It is up to you now to finish the job; and I will offer $150,000 to whomever can complete the job.”

His defense attorney tried to argue that he might have penned the letter in order to shine a spotlight on his “advocacy for democracy in Ukraine and Taiwan.”

A judge had ordered Routh to remain behind bars pending trial at his last hearing.

Additionally, Judge Aileen Cannon was selected at random to oversee the case. She also happens to be the same judge who dismissed the former president’s classified documents case after ruling that the process used to appoint the Special Counsel was unconstitutional.

The 58-year-old failed assassin is set to be arraigned on his charges during a court hearing next week.
