BOSTON, Massachusetts, May 14, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) ― A children’s cartoon series featured a homosexual “wedding” for its season premiere episode yesterday.
“Arthur,” the longest-running animated series for children in the USA, began its twenty-second season with the surprise “marriage” of Arthur the Aardvark’s teacher Mr. Ratburn to another man.
In the episode, Arthur and his classmates are intrigued to discover that their teacher is getting married and begin to investigate who his bride might be. When the children appear at the ceremony, they discover that Mr. Ratburn doesn’t have a bride. Instead, he walks down the aisle of the wedding tent on the arm of a male aardvark named Patrick.
The adult aardvark winks knowingly at the viewer whereupon 8-year-old Arthur and his classmate exchange delighted smiles.
A parent who watched the episode yesterday evening and contacted LifeSiteNews and contrasted the reactions to the cartoon characters to those of her children.
“The [cartoon] children are a bit surprised but mostly nonchalant about the whole thing,” she wrote from Topeka, Kansas. “Needless to say, in the real world, our children were shocked and confused.”

Other adults and teens, however, took to Twitter to expressed their glee over the new twist in Mr. Ratburn’s portrayal.
“DID ARTHUR REALLY HAVE A GAY MARRIAGE AND I MISSED IT? THAT’S SO FREAKING COOL Y’ALL,” said former child star, now House of Representatives intern Joshua Rush, 17, on Twitter.
Rush played “Cyrus Goodman” of the “Andi Mack” show, the first same-sex attracted main character on the Disney Channel. The character was 12 years old when he was introduced to the show.
“Arthur,” which features anthropomorphized animals, is aimed at children aged four to eight. It is broadcast on PBS Kids, and its educational purpose is purportedly to interest children in reading. The show is based on the Arthur adventure books by Marc Brown. Mr. Ratburn was originally based on Brown’s own middle school algebra teacher.
This is not Arthur’s first foray into the adult world of same-sex partnerships. According to Variety, an “Arthur” spin-off show called “Postcards from Buster” featured a female same-sex couple in 2005. The then-Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings wrote a letter of protest to the tax-funded PBS, underscoring that the show was meant to prepare children for school.
“We believe the “Sugartime!” episode does not come within these purposes or within the intent of Congress, and would undermine the overall objective of the Ready-To-Learn program — to produce programming that reaches as many children and families as possible,” Spelling wrote in 2005.
“Many parents would not want their young children exposed to the life-styles portrayed in this episode. Congress’ and the Department’s purpose in funding this programming certainly was not to introduce this kind of subject matter to children, particularly through the powerful and intimate medium of television,” she continued.
PBS dropped this episode, but it was aired by some of its affiliates.
Today PBS Kids states on its website that its goal is to make “a positive impact on the lives of children through curriculum-based entertainment with positive role models and content designed to nurture a child’s total well-being.”
“PBS KIDS encourages children to interact as respectful citizens in a diverse society,” the channel continues.
“By involving parents, teachers, caregivers and communities as learning partners, PBS KIDS helps to empower children for success in school and in life. PBS’ bottom line is measured by how much it contributes to the welfare of America’s children.”
The “Arthur” episode yesterday marks another victory by LGBT activists to insert homosexual “representation” into beloved children’s shows.

“Pete came out in May of 2015, and he and I met in August,” Mr. Glezman said. In the south, it has been traditional for a young lady (debutante or “female beginner”) of high status to “come out” into adulthood. It’s a formal rite of passage into society of an educated, wealthy, sophisticated young lady now ready for the privileges and responsibilities of adulthood. It is a recognition of her availability of being a wife and mother—in that order. This coming out takes place at a ball and elegant dinner. During the evening, the debutante displays her ability to walk, sit, dance, and eat without tripping over her gown or dropping a croissant down the front of her dress.
Homosexuals also have a “coming out” but not as elaborate as the southern ladies. Most southerners pay little or no attention to the social elites’ fancy affairs since they are busy making a living. However, arrogant homosexuals seem to think that all of us want to know about when they “became aware of their sexuality” and feel a need to announce it to the world. As if we care.
Pete Buttigieg is mayor of South Bend, Indiana and is “married” to Chasten Glezman, a teacher at Montessori Academy near South Bend. Pete calls Chasten his “husband” but since that is asinine, aberrant, and not accurate, I will refer to him as his “lover.” I do that knowing I will be reminded that Time magazine gave him some credibility with a cover photo of Pete and his lover. However, Time’s rush to gush is typical of the leftist media who are willing to promote anything that is anti-biblical, anti-common sense, and anti-decency.
Glezman admitted that he and Pete met online, had their first date in South Bend in September of 2015, then he “moved to Indiana and started living with Buttigieg in 2016.” Obviously, they lived together before “marriage.”
In December of 2017, the “couple” announced their engagement and were “married” in June 2018 in the Cathedral of St. James (Episcopal) in South Bend. (That says much about everyone involved.) Following their ceremony, the couple stopped by for a short visit at a LGBTQ Pride Week block party; and then went to their wedding reception where they danced the night away with 200 guests.
Their ceremony was livestreamed on YouTube and featured a reading from Justice Anthony Kennedy’s majority opinion in the landmark 2015 same-sex “marriage” decision that made perversion legal if not moral.
I don’t hate Pete or his lover or any other homosexual, but I will not give them a pass when they or others suggest that “gayness” is not perversion, that it is normal, maybe even admirable. Nor is it bigotry to explain to uninformed readers what “gayness” is. However, with my demand to know the extent of Pete’s “gayness,” I will become the object of ridicule and rebuke, and rejection. Maybe, even more death threats. But if you love homosexuals more than you fear retaliation, you tell them the truth.
And this article will be rejected by some of the sites that normally publish my articles—for telling the truth! No doubt, I will be held in more disdain for revealing the disgusting things that homosexuals do than the homosexuals who do those disgusting things! You can expect the homosexual crowd to have a hissy fit because of this article. That is as predictable as tomorrow’s sunrise.
To emphasize my point: Pete and his lover chose to make their perversion a very public matter. They really worked at it. Pete said, “I’m gay as a—I don’t know, think of something really gay—that’s how gay I am.” Remember, Pete brought this up so I, as a voter, have a right to know just how “gay” Pete is. After all, he wants to be President of the United States and I want to know where he stands on important issues.
Since studies show that about half of homosexuals were seduced into perversion by age 14, I wonder if Pete would totally renounce and repudiate such a revolting practice. Just a simple disavowal with appropriate disgust thrown in will suffice.
All homosexuals are aware that their lifespan is about 20 years less than for normal people so voters should know that a homosexual president may not live to finish his term. Moreover, 70% of homosexuals admit to having at least one STD plus they are infected with other contagious diseases such as tuberculosis, pneumonia, etc. About 20% of homosexual men are infected with HIV and about half of them do now know it. Don’t voters have a right, even an obligation, to know a candidate’s health status since the candidate’s health is always an issue? Is a homosexual candidate an exception? If so, why?
Will he release his complete medical records?
Since homosexuals do many dangerous things it seems wise, considerate, thoughtful, and loving to suggest they cease such dangerous activities. After all, we strongly suggest that one should not smoke, eat much red meat, not drink, and not gain weight since those are deadly activities. Why is it unreasonable, unkind, or untoward to demand the same of homosexual candidates?
Pete admits to using marijuana while at Harvard and wants to make smoking weed legal, but does he still use marijuana, use tobacco, drink hard liquor, overeat, lose sleep, and refuse to exercise?
Homosexuals are notoriously promiscuous as reported in a six-month study of daily sexual diaries by Corey and Holmes in the New England Journal of Medicine. In that study, homosexuals “averaged 110 sex partners and 68 rectal encounters a year.” It is known that even the most devoted and long-lasting homosexual relationships are usually not monogamous. Each partner normally reserves a night out each week to “play the field.” Will Pete admit that that is too “gay”?
Studies show that almost all homosexuals practice oral sex and about half ingest semen which is as dangerous as ingesting raw blood exposing them to hepatitis A and B, gonorrhea, and HIV. Moreover, about 90% of homosexuals practice rectal sex and two-thirds do so on a regular basis. Furthermore, 17% of homosexuals admit to rubbing or ingesting the feces of homosexual partners. Will Pete admit that too is too “gay”?
About 23% of “gays” (according to the largest study ever conducted) participate in golden showers where they urinate on each other, splash each other with urine or drink urine. Now, it is a person’s own business if he has a taste for urine, but we have a right to know what Pete thinks about that. Is he “that gay”?
Will Pete repudiate the 41% of “gays” who practice fisting where one rams his fist into the rectum of his partner? Or, at times, they use carrots, bottles, flashlights, (even gerbils!) or other objects often requiring a trip to the hospital for removal. Surely, Pete will repudiate that.
Will Pete repudiate the 90% of “gays” who practice rimming which is so disgusting that I won’t continue to explain it? In doing research for my book, AIDS: Silent Killer!, the owner of a chain of homosexual bathhouses told me that often the same man is “rimmed” 20 times in a single night. Will Pete repudiate such a disgusting practice?
Surely, Pete will repudiate the 37% of homosexuals who practice sadomasochism, the 90% of homosexuals who use illegal drugs, and the 66% who admit to restroom sex.
Franklin Graham was right when he said about Pete, being gay is “something to be repentant of, not something to be flaunted, praised or politicized.” In declaring that fact, Graham was showing love and concern for the mayor because God judges sin—all sin even the sin that shouldn’t even be named. Perversion results in judgment with horrible, eternal results.
If you haven’t noticed, they are no longer “gay” in Sodom.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban met with U.S. President Donald Trump at The White House on May 13.

Senior Republican and Democratic members of the U.S. Congress told President Donald Trump on Friday they were concerned about Hungary’s “downward democratic trajectory,” ahead of Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s visit to Washington.
“In recent years, democracy in Hungary has significantly eroded. … Under Orban, the election process has become less competitive and the judiciary is increasingly controlled by the state,” Republican Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Jim Risch and Bob Menendez, the panel’s top Democrat, said in a letter to Trump.
The letter was also signed by Republican Senator Marco Rubio and Democratic Senator Jeanne Shaheen.
The senators also said they were very concerned about the close relationship between Hungary, a NATO partner, and Russia. They said Hungary has failed to diversify its energy resources from Moscow and allowed Russia to exploit its visa system to evade U.S. sanctions.

Buttigieg's visit was unannounced, and some questioned who he was when he entered the room. In response, one attendee reportedly said, "Mayor Pete, the guy running for president."
"I was humbled to meet with President Carter in Plains, Georgia today," Buttigieg said in a tweet after their meeting. "He is a true public servant and America is blessed for his continuing leadership."
Buttigieg's husband, Chasten, in a separate tweet said the two had "a lovely visit" to Plains.
Buttigieg in the past several months has gone from being relatively unknown to among the most serious contenders for the 2020 Democratic nomination for president, garnering nonstop media attention as he's climbed up the polls.
The South Bend mayor, who is a gay Episcopalian Christian, has often discussed his faith along the campaign trail — at one pointingtaking a jab at Vice President Mike Pence's anti-LGBTQ stances and rhetoric.
Buttigieg has also faced antigay heckling as he's campaigned, but he has shrugged it off.

California Sen. Kamala Harris, who is running to be the Democrat nominee for President has vowed to enact strict gun control measures by executive order within the first 100 days, if she is elected.
“I’m proposing, one, that if by my 100th day in office when elected president of the United States, if the United States Congress fails to put a bill on my desk … then I’m prepared to take executive action because that’s what’s needed: action,” Harris said in an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper.
"On this issue of the need for gun safety laws, we're not at any loss for good ideas… What we're waiting for is Congress to have the courage to act," says Sen. @KamalaHarris.
“We are not waiting on tragedies and we are not waiting on good ideas,” Harris said, adding that “on the issue of the need for gun safety laws, we’re not at any loss for good ideas. People have been having good ideas for decades on this issue. What we’re at a loss is for people in Congress to have the courage to do something.”
“Universal background checks? Check! Really good idea.” Harris continued, adding “you might wanna know if someone has been proven to be a danger to themselves or others before they can buy a lethal weapon.”
Harris outlined that she would enforce rules requiring anyone who sells more than five guns per year to do background checks, and would have the BATF rescind licenses from gun dealers who refused to comply.
She claimed that “90 percent of the guns that are associated with crime have been sold by 5 percent of the gun dealers. We need to take their licenses away.”
Harris noted that she would ensure that checks would be the “most comprehensive” that “has ever been had in our country thus far.”
When Tapper questioned whether the Executive office would be able to take such reaching action without the approval of Congress, Harris sternly responded “Yes it can.”
Harris is one of several Democrats who have said they will aggressively push for gun control.
Last week Cory Booker unveiled what his campaign described as ‘the most sweeping gun control plan ever’, as he expressed agreement with the notion that lawful gun owners should be ‘thrown in prison’ if they refuse to comply with “an assault weapons ban.”

Presidential candidate Joe Biden wants American taxpayers to pay for illegal-alien healthcare. Indeed, he doesn’t just want us to pay for their healthcare, he says we are obliged to pay for their healthcare.
That’s likely because Biden thinks illegals are American citizens, and doesn’t much care how many are here as long as they vote the right way.
What Biden didn’t explain when he said we must pay for illegal-alien healthcare is how much such beneficence would cost.
Answer: A lot.
The Question, The Answer
Biden’s demand that we pay for illegal-alien healthcare answered a question he got on Wednesday in Los Angeles from a reporter who wanted to know whether the “undocumented” deserve a free ride.
The question was this: “Do you think that undocumented immigrants who are in this country and are law-abiding should be entitled to federal benefits like Medicare, Medicaid for example?”
Answered Biden, “Look, I think that anyone who is in a situation where they are in need of health care, regardless of whether they are documented or undocumented, we have an obligation to see that they are cared for. That's why I think we need more clinics in this country.”
Biden forgot to put “free” before clinics, but anyway, the candidate then suggested that Americans who disagree likely have a nasty hang-up about the border-jumping illegals who lie with the facility of Pinocchio when they apply for “asylum.”
“A significant portion of undocumented folks in this country are there because they overstayed their visas,” he continued. “It’s not a lot of people breaking down gates coming across the border,” he falsely averred.
Then came the inevitable. “We” need to watch what we say about all those “undocumented folks.”
“The biggest thing we’ve got to do is tone down the rhetoric,” he continued, because that “creates fear and concern” and ends in describing “undocumented folks” in “graphic, unflattering terms.”
Biden thinks those “undocumented folks” are citizens, as Breitbart noted in its report on his generosity with other people’s money.
In 2014, Biden told the worthies of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce that entering the country illegally isn’t a problem, and Teddy Roosevelt would agree.
“The 11 million people living in the shadows, I believe they’re already American citizens,” Biden said. “Teddy Roosevelt said it better, he said Americanism is not a question of birthplace or creed or a line of dissent. It’s a question of principles, idealism, and character.”
Illegals “are just waiting, waiting for a chance to be able to contribute fully. And by that standard, 11 million undocumented aliens are already American.”
Roosevelt also said that “the one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities,” but that inconvenient truth aside, Biden likely doesn’t grasp just what his munificence — again, with our money — will cost.
The Cost of Illegal-Alien Healthcare
Biden is right that visa overstays are a big problem: 701,900 in 2018, the government reported. But at least those who overstay actually entered the country legally; border jumpers don’t.
But that’s beside the point.
The real problem is the cost of the healthcare, which Forbes magazine estimated to be $18.5 billion, $11.2 billion of it federal tax dollars.
In 2017, the Federation for American Immigration Reform reported a figure of $29.3 billion; $17.1 in federal tax dollars, and $12.2 billion in state tax dollars. More than $15 billion on that total was uncompensated medical care. The rest fell under Medicaid births, Medicaid fraud, Medicaid for illegal-alien children, and improper Medicaid payouts.
The bills for the more than half-million illegals who have crossed the border since the beginning of fiscal 2019 in October are already rolling in.
Speaking at a news conference in March, Brian Hastings, operations chief for Customs and Border Protection (CBP), said about 55 illegals per day need medical care, and that 31,000 illegals will need medical care this year, up from 12,000 last year. Since December 22, he said, sick illegals have forced agents to spend 57,000 hours at hospitals or medical facilities. Cost: $2.2 milllion in salaries. Between 25 percent and 40 percent of the border agency’s manpower goes to the care and maintenance of illegals, he said.
CBP spent $98 million on illegal-alien healthcare between 2014 and 2018.

Anti-Semitism is quickly on the rise within the Democratic Party, and the poster children for it are two high-profile freshmen US Representatives, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan. Florida, too, has its own Democrat Islamist anti-Semite, anti-Israel activist Rasha Mubarak. Mubarak is on a mission to destroy the Jewish state, Israel, and she is taking the Florida Democratic Party with her.
Elected in November 2018, Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib are the first Muslim women to serve in the US Congress. Recently, both have been cited for making anti-Semitic statements, relative to the issue of Israel. And while no one suggests that criticism of Israel is out of bounds, the statements that these women have made have crossed the line. This includes bringing up the ‘dual-loyalty’ canard, which has been used against Jews for millennia, and suggesting that Jewish money is buying off politicians. These assertions and more have led to both Omar and Tlaib being reprimanded by the Simon Wiesenthal Center and members of their own party.
Minnesota and Michigan are not the only states where Democratic Party leaders are spouting anti-Semitism. It is happening, as well, in the Sunshine State and in a big way.
On April 9th, the Florida Young Democrats (FYD) released, in part, the following message: “We are excited to officially welcome Rasha Mubarak to our FYD Board as Central Florida Regional Director. Though a new addition to our board, Rasha has already been hard at work with chartering a new Osceola Young Democrats, working on this year’s Campaign Academy programming and leading our 2019 Convention planning in Orlando.”
In Mubarak’s statement accepting the role as FYD Central Florida Regional Director, she announced that she was ending her two-year term as President of the Young Democrats of Orange County (YDOC).
In the April 9th FYD message welcoming Mubarak, FYD also acknowledged that Mubarak had previously served as the Central Florida Regional Director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). By acknowledging this fact, FYD was admitting that Mubarak had been involved in a group associated with international terrorism.
CAIR was established, in June 1994, as part of an umbrella group headed by then-global leader of Hamas, Mousa Abu Marzook. CAIR has been cited by the US government for its involvement in the financing of Hamas. CAIR-Florida, itself, has been linked with support for Hamas. In July 2014, CAIR-Florida was the co-sponsor of a pro-Hamas rally held in Downtown Miami. After the rally, the event organizer, Sofian Zakkout, wrote, “Thank God, every day we conquer the American Jews like our conquests over the Jews of Israel!” In August 2014, CAIR-Florida Executive Director Hassan Shibly tweeted, “Israel and its supporters are enemies of God.”
Islamic Relief’s ties to terror are well known. The Russian government has accused Islamic Relief of supporting terrorism in Chechnya. Israel has banned the group, labeling it a Hamas front and arresting the organization’s Gaza Program Manager, Ayaz Ali, in 2006, for providing “funds and assistance to various Hamas institutions and organizations.” At the end of 2014, Britain’s HSBC bank cut ties with Islamic Relief over concerns about “terrorist financing.” Reports show that Islamic Relief has sent millions of dollars to and received tens of thousands of dollars from groups related to al-Qaeda.
In November 2014, Mubarak was a featured speaker at the Al-Awda 12th Annual International Convention, held in Fort Lauderdale. Al-Awda, the Palestine Right to Return Coalition, is a US-based activist group, which opposes Israel’s right to exist. Participating, along with Mubarak, were then-Chair of Al-Awda, Anas Amireh, who advocates Palestinians use cars as weapons and refers to Israel as the “Zionist enemy,” and then-Vice Chair of Al-Awda, Abbas Hamideh, who told Jews, in October 2015, “Rest assured Zionism will be eradicated and if you’re lucky you’ll be sent back to Europe where you belong...” Hamideh says peace with Israel only means “surrender.”
Though she was born in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in Orlando, Florida, Mubarak likes to refer to herself as a Muslim Palestinian American. Her bias against Israel is evident in most everything she does and says. But like Representatives Omar and Tlaib and her comrades at Al-Awda, Mubarak’s views regarding Israel are far beyond criticism. Indeed, Mubarak believes Israel does not have the right to defend herself.
This month, when Hamas launched more than 600 rockets into Israel, leading to the deaths of four civilians, Mubarak tweeted/retweeted against anyone who would dare defend Israeli retaliation. Her targets included former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, Producer of "The Ellen Show" Andy Lassner, and Mayor of New York City Bill de Blasio, who rightly described Hamas’ rocket attacks as “brutal” and “an affront to humanity.”
In November 2012, Mubarak clearly spelled out her stance on this subject, tweeting, “#LiesImTiredOfHearing Israel has the right to defend herself.” At the time, Israel had launched a war against Hamas, much like now, in retaliation for Hamas massive rocket fire. Regarding this, when her fellow CAIR operative Laila Abdelaziz tweeted, “Don’t worry ya Gaza, we’re working hard for you in Florida,” Mubarak, retweeted her, adding, “Yes we are!”
As well, at the end of the 2014 Israel-Gaza Conflict, Mubarak retweeted photos of a jubilant Hamas, who had, after so much bloodshed, pitilessly just declared victory. One of her posts read, “Thousands of people celebrating in the streets of Gaza for the victory. Alhamdulillah. #VictoryForGaza.”
Mubarak has been pulling the Florida Democratic Party into her terror-related bigoted world.
In December 2017, Mubarak had her YDOC and the Seminole County Young Democrats partner with CAIR for her ‘HANDS OFF JERUSALEM RALLY FOR PALESTINE.’ All of the groups’ logos are plastered on a dark and menacing poster advertising the rally and featuring images of a Palestinian flag and the Dome of the Rock. A video of the event highlights an anti-Semitic rant made by Mubarak’s uncle, Orlando real estate investor Said Lutfi, who, during the rally, referred to Jews as “the crappiest piece of s**t on this planet,” “baby killers,” and “Jesus killers.” Lutfi stated, “A ‘Jew’ is a curse.”
In September 2018, Mubarak did a live streamed video with FYD President Jake Sanders to discuss BDS, the bigoted movement to boycott Israel. In the video, Sanders, who was elected President in May 2017 and who claims to have a “Jewish heritage,” seemed clueless of the fact that he was being used by Mubarak, in order to legitimize BDS. Mubarak begins by calling soon-to-be-Governor Ron DeSantis “racist” for “demonizing ”BDS and CAIR, as a way, she claims, “to show his solidarity with the Jewish community.” An uncomfortable moment occurs, when Sanders declares both he and Mubarak “believe in a two-state solution”; she quickly corrects him saying she does not.
Rasha Mubarak is leading the Florida Democratic Party down an anti-Semitic trajectory, which has now become a disturbing trend. It appears Mubarak can manipulate the FDP to push her bigotry against Jews and the Jewish homeland with impunity. And ‘useful idiots,’ like Jake Sanders, have given her carte blanche, so that she has the platform to do it.
There has been zero pushback from Democratic leadership, and given that the national party has not managed to properly condemn the anti-Semitism of its two Islamist Congresswomen, this comes as no surprise.
The Florida Democratic Party would be smart to cut ties with the cancer Mubarak and relieve her of her position immediately. However, if history proves correct, the party will just rally to her support and ignore the problem completely.

We translated the Arabic curses and one of them was a veiled death threat inciting violence against our investigative team. You will see how a few of the Palestinian supporters use low level intimidation tactics that are laughable but always entertaining.

We learned the Israeli Palestinian conflict is not about land but about religiosity. The vocal hatred of the Jews Said Lutfi proudly displayed had nothing to do with Israel. Lutfi and CAIR’s hatred of the Jews is personal.
The Young Democrats of Orange County, FL partnering with CAIR for this Israeli hatefest is troubling. More troubling is the crowd standing silently as Lutfi utters every anti-semitic slur known to man. A sad day indeed for the Democratic party, unless you are an anti-semite then you will fit right in.
We learned that CAIR, a “Civil Rights Group”, and the Young Democrats of Orange County must share the same views based on Garson Larza’s silence and the bigot Rasha Mubarak as their President.
Lastly, we learned the followers of Islam don’t even believe Jesus died on the cross so the lies of Said Lutfi about the Jews are false and motivated by a dark and evil hate.

This Orlando rally was unique in that it was called the al Qods Day Rally and we had a couple of honest pro Hamas Muslims proudly waving the flag of Hezbollah in support of Iran.
Al-Quds or Qods Day? Iranians rallied nationwide on Friday in a show of support for Palestinians as archfoe Israel pursued its campaign against Hamas and other groups in the Gaza Strip.
In Tehran, footage showed demonstrators, carrying placards proclaiming “Death to Israel” and “Death to America,” converging from nine different points on Tehran University in the city center.
One can only assume the Orlando Muslim community knows very well what happens in Tehran on the last Friday of Ramadan since 1979.
The Islamic Republic of Iran, leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini. stole Yazdi's idea, and on August 7, 1979, he declared the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan each year as Quds Day, in which Muslims worldwide would unite in solidarity against Israel and in support of the Palestinians.
Khomeini declared the liberation of Jerusalem a religious duty to all Muslims. Did you get that?? It is a religious duty not a political duty for all Muslims to rid the Middle East of Israel.
Everyone knows the liberation of Jerusalem means removing all Jews from Jerusalem and returning to the pre-1948 borders.
What makes me sick are the leaders of this Orlando Rally were trying to deceive all Orlando non-Muslims by calling this a rally for freedom.
The fact of the matter is this Quds Day rally represents the destruction of Israel. The two Hezbollah supporters were the only two honest people there who were acknowledging Iran and Hezbollah in their support for Hamas and the Palestinians.
Now that you know the history of Al-Quds and what it represents you can see the Orlando Muslims present did not disagree with the politics behind Quds Day or the terrorist Hezbollah flag.
The Orlando Muslims knew that supporting Hezbollah, Iran, Hamas, and the destruction of Israel just aren't all that popular here in America.
I just wished there were some Muslims in Orlando who were brave enough to stand against the terrorist country Iran and terrorists of Hamas whose goal is obliterate Israel.
Hopefully, one day soon the Muslims in Orlando will stand against this type of blind support for the terrorists of Hamas and Iran.
Maybe one day soon we can all hope for the segment of the Orlando Muslim's who stand with America to become vocal and overpower those voices in support of Hamas and Hezbollah.

APOPKA, Fla. —Controversial televangelist Paula White, who serves as a spiritual advisor to President Trump, announced on May 5 that she has transferred the pastoral leadership of New Destiny Christian Center to her son and his wife — which has also been renamed Destiny City. She outlined that she will now move to the “apostolic overseer” role at the church, as she believes that governance and “pastoring pastors” are her calling in life.
White had taken the pastorate at New Destiny Christian Center following the 2011 death of then-leader Zachery Tims, who according to reports, was found dead in a New York City hotel room due to “acute intoxication by the combined effects of cocaine and heroin.”
She told the congregation last Sunday that Tims, a longtime friend, had called her in 2005 and gave a personal prophecy that “wouldn’t make sense [then] … but it would make sense in 2019.” She said that she knew when she took the leadership role at New Destiny that it was only for a season.
“I knew that I wasn’t taking us into the promised land. … To everything there is a time,” White stated.
She also postulated that the Lord more recently told her that the time was right for the next step, which includes installing her son, Brad Knight, and his wife, Rachel, as lead pastors over the church.
“The Lord spoke to me very clearly and said, ‘If you miss this moment, you’ll delay things. Do not miss this moment,’ White claimed. “So, today I am officially enstating Pastor Brad and Pastor Rachel as the senior pastors over City of Destiny.”
White said that she would serve in an “apostolic overseer” capacity, adding that the word “apostolic” can be misunderstood, and she is therefore not completely comfortable with the word.
“I believe that my call is to be that, to govern. I believe it’s that, to church plant. I believe it’s that, to pastor pastors,” she remarked.
“As oversight pastor, I believe for 3,000 church plants. I believe that City of Destiny will have 3,000,” White continued. “I will continue with Paula White Ministries. If Pastor Brad asks me, I will preach for him as many times as he asks me to preach.”
White said that City of Destiny will also be launching a university, as well as a performing arts center, and that $155 million is “coming in” to build the facilities. She stated that she believes that the building projects will transpire quickly.
“The only thing that would get upset about anything is your flesh,” she stated. “So, anyone who’s spiritual, you just took a leap, like quantum, because you were like, ‘thank goodness.’ Because the worst thing is our destiny being held up, and your destiny just got released because God just elevated you to a new position.”
“It’s going to blow people’s mind. And God’s about to shine the light. And all you have to do is have half of a spiritual eye,” she told those gathered.
Knight, in praising his mother, said that he feels sad for those who are not understanding of White.
“I understand that God has favored you, that those who bless you will be blessed. Those who curse you will be cursed,” he asserted. “And I’m thankful that despite the fact that you’re Paula White … you have the humility and the ability to hear God enough to look toward succession, and that’s very, very rare.”
“You truly are an apostle, and the quicker that people that realize that, the quicker they realize that God has granted you favor and authority — and unique favor and authority, the better off that they’ll be,” he stated.
As previously reported, White considers herself a life coach, authoring books such as “The Ten Commandments of Health and Wellness,” “Simple Suggestions for a Sensational Life,” “I Don’t Get Wholeness, That’s the Problem — Making Relationships Work” and “He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not.” She also serves as the chair of President Trump’s Evangelical Advisory Board.
White has been married three times, with her first marriage being to Dean Knight, who she married as a teenager. In 2007, White divorced her second husband, Randy White of Without Walls International Church in stating that their lives were going in two different directions.
In 2015, she married Journey rocker Jonathan Cain, known for the secular hits “Don’t Stop Believin,’” “When You Love a Woman” and “Who’s Crying Now.” Cain has likewise been married two other times.
“We are demanding life to your purpose,” she declared. “And with obedience to this first fruits instruction, which is putting God first now, your purpose, your year, your prosperity, and your power will have life and be resurrected!”
“When you apply this, everything comes in divine alignment for His plan and promises for you. When you don’t honor it, whether through ignorance or direct disobedience, there are consequences,” White also warned.
Following media reports about the matter, staff revised language on White’s website to remove any reference to a “day, week or month’s” wages, as well as text about “consequences.”
At a graduation ceremony at Liberty University over the weekend, Vice President Mike Pence warned students that it has become “acceptable and even fashionable to ridicule and discriminate against people of faith,” and that they should “be prepared for persecution.” This was a gentle - one might say Christian - way of describing what has become an all-out war on believers. This war which I have described in my book Dark Agenda: The War to Destroy Christian America. This war got into high gear in the 1960s with the banning first of prayer and then of any reference to the Christian foundations of American democracy in the public schools. Once atheism became the only constitutionally protected religion, the war on Christianity became a central source of the political divisions that followed.
Mike Pence is perhaps the most decent man in politics, but he and his wife Karen have been the target of relentless attacks by LGBTQ radicals who have conducted vigilante campaigns against Chick Fil-A, the Colorado Baker, and religious institutions across the country for the crime of being Christians. This war reached a turning point more than 40 years ago with Roe v. Wade’s invention of a constitutional right to kill unborn children – a direct assault on the belief of every Christian in the sanctity of human life.
Vice President Pence knows about religious persecution. From the moment he signed a bill for religious liberty and ever since he entered the White House, he has been the target of vicious and outrageous attacks on his faith by the LGBTQ radicals, and by Democratic primary candidate Pete Buttigieg in particular. In what has become almost the main theme of Buttigieg’s primary campaign, and in flagrant disregard of the truth, Buttigieg has accused Pence of being a bigot because he is a Christian. In fact, the opposite is the case. When Buttigieg came out publicly as a gay man Pence, who was then governor of Indiana, reached out to him and praised his achievements as mayor of South Bend, even though Buttigieg’s tenure in South Bend was unworthy of such praise. Pence did it out of Christian compassion that Buttigieg should not feel excluded – even by a Republican governor – for his sexual orientation.
Buttigieg compounded this travesty by presenting himself as a victim of persecution, even though – far from making him a victim – the fact that he is gay is what has catapulted him as the mayor of a small and failing city to being one of the top three candidates for the Democratic presidential nomination. Being gay allowed him, despite his white privilege and class privilege, to present himself as a voice for the oppressed, and thus to take his place in the Democrats’ perverse “Identity Politics” melodrama. Identity politics – which fuels its war on Christians - is killing the Democratic Party, and it will kill America too, if candidates like Pete Buttigieg rather than Mike Pence emerge from this war victorious.

The FBI has uncovered a homegrown terror training camp in Alabama. “The property, similar to another compound in New Mexico the group is now linked to where federal prosecutors say Wahhaj and four other suspects were training children to carry out deadly terror attacks on American soil.” The children were said to be living under abusive conditions. In mid March, a federal grand jury in New Mexico indicted the five Muslims. And while the imam is not responsible for his son’s actions, he himself “is on record urging a violent overthrow of the ‘filthy’ U.S. government. The elder Wahhaj gave an opening prayer at an event at the Democratic National Convention in 2012.” Despite the mainstream media downplaying of the existence of of jihadi training camps, such camps are believed to be dispersed in various locations. The Jamad al Fruco group claims to have 22 training camps across the country.

In Stalin’s Soviet Union as well as in Hitler’s Nazi Germany a person would be arrested and sent to a concentration camp if they were accused of speaking out against the state. Even worse, they probably would be executed just for talking. This was a basic rule under fascist and totalitarian governments. It was just one part of a plan of total censorship and oppression as a means of controlling the very thoughts and opinions of its citizens. In the 1930’s, political speech and criticism of the government were dealt with by placing its citizens in labor camps and later by mass execution. There is nothing more despised by Americans than this kind of censorship. Every citizen has the right to defend him/herself in the public forum.
This is America; it is not Hitler’s Germany nor is it Stalin’s Russia. When Judge Amy Berman Jackson imposed a gag order on Roger Stone it brings to mind both of those despicable regimes. This gag order is a prior restraint on the free speech rights of the one person qualified to publicly defend himself from criminal accusations; Roger Stone. The idea of a gag order is to prevent the defendant or his counsel from materially prejudicing a jury. It also extends in scope to preventing the defendant or his counsel from tipping public opinion in favor of the defendant. The gag order then is for the honorable desire for a fair trial.
How … is a gag order on defendant Stone going to ensure a fair trial? The media has already convicted Stone as part of the Russian collusion delusion. The fact that CNN had their cameras rolling as 29 Federal officers (in full tactical SWAT type uniforms) invaded his home in a pre dawn raid went a long way to condemning Stone in the public forum. All day long media outlets played the video tape of his arrest. If that’s not creating a bias against a fair trial, I don’t know what is.
The media has all the means to say anything they want about Roger Stone. The fact that a gag order prevents Stone from defending himself in the press guarantees a unfair trial. A gag order undermines the ability of a defendant to obtain a fair trial. Does Judge Amy Berman Jackson really believe that if Stone spoke out about his case he might change the world’s opinion of him? Does she really think that Stone’s criticism of Mueller’s tactics will somehow damage the case against him? Is it fair that he not be allowed to make statements in his own behalf to the public while the media continues to paint him as a shady conspirator who colluded with the Russians?
In the late 1980’s, the Supreme Court ruled in a case involving a Las Vegas attorney who during a press conference attacked the prosecution for covering up police corruption and for scapegoating his client. The Supreme Court said this: the lawyer “spoke at a time and in a manner that neither in law nor in fact created any threat of real prejudice to his client’s right to a fair trial or to the State’s interest in the enforcement of its criminal laws.” In addition “means “an attorney may take reasonable steps to defend a client’s reputation and reduce the adverse consequences of indictment, especially in the fact of a prosecution deemed unjust or commenced with improper motives.” This includes “an attempt to demonstrate in the court of public opinion that the client does not deserve to be tried.”
Roger Stone makes his living by speaking and writing. Judge Jackson is considering putting Stone in jail for criticizing Mueller in the introduction section of his new book. Are Mueller’s feelings hurt? Stone couldn’t possibly think that briefly criticizing Mueller in print would constitute a violation of the gag order. He’s not allowed to talk about his books, he can’t sell his books through social media and he’s not allowed to give his opinion on the most important and life threatening situation of his 66 years. He is basically prevented from earning a living.
This situation is intolerable. It goes against the principals of the very ideals that make America the greatest country in the world.

A new app developed by researchers at the University of Utah encourages users to report ‘offensive’ speech, including slurs written on bathroom walls.
First Amendment? What First Amendment?
DIGIT Lab’s “Hate Incident Reporting” app turns citizens into spies by accepting “reports beyond crimes captured in police records”.
Although the creators claim that all reporting is confidential and anonymous, “The amount of detailed information a person is asked to provide would make it easy for law enforcement to identify someone,” reports the MassPrivateI blog.
“We’d like to see it used nationally to get better hate incident statistics, and to understand why, how, and where people are active in hateful incidents, and how that offends or hurts people,” said Richard Medina.
The app allows users to submit photos and videos of the alleged “hate” incident, and asks them to classify it “out of multiple types of bias: religion, disability, gender, identity, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation and other.”
The app was ostensibly created because the activists behind it are unhappy that reports of “hate crime” numbers are not high enough.
In order to fan the flames of hysteria about bigots and Nazis lurking around every corner, it becomes necessary to artificially inflate cases of “hate incidents”.
What constitutes a “hate incident”? According to Phys.Org, this would include, “derogatory epithets written in bathrooms to slurs yelled from a car window.”
So now rude graffiti or road rage can be conflated into the narrative of soaring hate crime and voila! We have ourselves a freshly served moral panic.
This contrived nationwide hate crime epidemic then surely necessitates left-wing institutions, media and academic bodies be handed more money and power to fight it!

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) told CNN’s David Axelrod that if there’s a mass shooting while he’s president “We’re not going to give thoughts and prayers, which to me is just bullshit.”

Says the Vatican in reflecting the muscular efforts of Pope Francis to fully embrace Islam:
“We Muslims and Christians are called to open ourselves to others, knowing and recognizing them as brothers and sisters…. this way, we can tear down walls raised out of fear and ignorance and seek together to build bridges of friendship that are fundamental for the good of all humanity.”
The endearing use of the phrase “brothers and sisters” invokes a vision of harmony and peace together. This is not the case between Muslims and Christians globally. Too many Christians live under the worst conditions in Islamic countries, as they endure violent persecution daily under the Sharia. The Pope of Islamis living a lie and promoting the same. Ongoing, he has abandoned persecuted Christians, and also persecuted other minority groups including minority Muslim groups and other victims of jihad. He has also turned a blind eye to Islamic supremacist assaults and jihad attacks in Western countries as a result of open door immigration.
His pursuit of dialogue has never included the demand that Islamic leaders and adherents accept religious freedoms, and the equality of other faiths and human beings regardless of gender and personal identity. The Pope does not promote a two way street in his so-called advancement of “dialogue”. His expectation is that Christians must embrace “dialogue”, “diversity” and “tolerance” of everyone—including jihadists– but he has no such message and expectation of Muslims.
The Pope has also declared Rome to be a “city of bridges, never walls!,” and further stated that “Jesus demands” we take in Muslim migrants. Meanwhile, he lives in a walled city within Rome, surrounded by security, and he is not taking in any migrants himself.
Conversely, Cardinal Robert Sarah — prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments — compared “the modern influx of Muslim migrants to the invasions of barbarian tribes that ultimately brought down the Roman Empire in a.d. 475.” Sarah also warned that “it is a false exegesis [interpretation of scriptural text] to use the Word of God to promote migration. God never wanted these rifts.”
For the Pope’s trip to Morocco, Vatican media promotions abandoned the traditional papal insignia and replaced it with the cross and the crescent; and the crescent did not appear “alongside the cross, as if a companion to it. Rather, the Islamic symbol encircles the Christian one” symbolizing a kind of submission to Islam.
In Islamic law, Muslim lives are explicitly worth more than those of non-Muslims. The Shafi’i Sharia manual Reliance of the Traveller dictates: “The indemnity for the death or injury of a woman is one-half the indemnity paid for a man. The indemnity paid for a Jew or Christian is one-third the indemnity paid for a Muslim. The indemnity paid for a Zoroastrian is one-fifteenth that of a Muslim.” (o4.9) Sikhs rank even lower, as they are not People of the Book. The Pope addresses none of this.

That same declaration brought down heavy criticism on the pope particularly due to the assertion that the plurality and diversity of religions “are willed by God in His wisdom,” just as God wills a plurality of colors, sexes, races, and languages.
A number of Catholic theologians raised objections to the statement, insisting that it seemed to suggest that either God actively wills error, or that all religions are equally valid paths to God. The existence of a variety of colors, races, and languages in humanity is very different from a variety of contradictory claims about God’s identity and way of acting, they said.
In early April, Francis walked back the earlier statement, clarifying that in reality God only permits the existence of many religions without actively willing it.
The Vatican’s Ramadan message steers clear of such theological swampland.

One page created by Facebook, for the Syrian Salafist militant group Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham (“HTS,” also known as al-Qaeda in Syria), received over 4,400 Likes. Several of those Liking this page have profiles using terrorist iconography; one lists his employment as “mujahid.” Several are associated with illicit looting and trafficking of antiquities, an activity that HTS regulates and taxes in the region as a source of terror financing.
Facebook is providing a powerful networking and recruitment tool to terrorist and hate groups. Some of the terror- and hate-related pages on Facebook have thousands of Likes, a feature that terrorist and hate groups can use to identify and recruit supporters. The widespread and persistent promotion of violent content and extremist ideology by terror and hate groups shows that they see Facebook as a valuable tool for networking and recruiting new members.
Facebook has argued it is not a content provider, failing to disclose that it is generating terror and hate content. In its press releases and other public statements, Facebook has never disclosed that it auto-generates its own terror and hate content and that this content is being Liked by individuals who affiliate themselves with terrorist organizations. The Democrat party is also plagued with congresswomen Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib. Omar referenced Israel as an “apartheid regime“, was a keynote speaker at a CAIR fundraiser in late March to discuss “advancing justice and empowering Muslims” and has also stated: “Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel.” And at the beginning of Rashida Tlaib’s term, Tlaib accused US senators who backed a bill to combat BDS of holding dual loyalties. After J Street endorsed her candidacy on the basis of two-state support, she openly proclaimed supporting a one-state solution, and she has a map in her office where Israel has been replaced with a post-it note labeled “Palestine.” The Daily caller reported that her political funding has come from groups like Hamas-linked CAIR; while Tlaib“invited a pro-Hezbollah, anti-Israel activist to her swearing-in ceremony.”
In additional bad news about the Dem camp: in mid March, a federal grand jury in New Mexico“indicted five Muslims who allegedly trained children to carry out school massacres on terrorism-related offenses, conspiracy to commit murder and kidnapping.” The children also lived under abusive conditions. The leader of the group is Siraj Ibn Wahhaj, “the son of Imam Siraj Wahhaj, who was a former CAIR board member and “is on record urging a violent overthrow of the ‘filthy’ U.S. government”, so we know where his son learned about jihad. Despite his hatred of America and his associations to Hamas-linked CAIR, Imam Wahhaj gave an opening prayer at an event at the Democratic National Convention in 2012.

“We pray for peace, not war,” he said. “Love not hate. Benevolence, not greed. Unity, not division. And we commit ourselves to not betraying our prayers with actions that contradict them. Let us be for truth, no matter who, or for is against it.”
Suleiman has made several vehemently anti-Israel comments and also seemed to side with Hamas in an August 2014 Facebook post.
As the 2014 Gaza War broke out, Suleiman said on social media: “How befitting that the 3rd Intifada starts on the 27th night of Ramadan as worshippers are denied prayer in Masjid Al Aqsa.” He ended his post with a prayer of sorts: “God willing on this blessed night as the 3rd Intifada begins, the beginning of the end of Zionism is here. May Allah help us overcome this monster, protect the innocent of the world, and accept the murdered as martyrs. ameen.”
During the war, Suleiman also denied that Hamas uses human shields in an attempt to stop the IDF from retaliating against rocket fire sent from Gaza into Israeli civilian communities.

Disgusted students in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, stormed out of a vigil May 8 for a high school student shot to death this week after two politically tone-deaf Democrat politicians and a left-wing group tried to turn the event into a posthumous pep rally for gun control.
This major public-relations setback in the leftist war on guns came a few days after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) signed a new commonsense law allowing teachers to be armed while on duty. Parkland, Florida, was the site of the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School that left 17 dead on Valentine’s Day last year.
The reaction to the attempted hijacking of what was supposed to be a memorial service for an innocent victim forced the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence to apologize for its affiliate, Team Enough, for politicizing the Colorado event.
Some of the students leaving the vigil were chanting “mental health,” according to local media. Apparently, it was a call for better mental health services to prevent future mass shootings. Some of the students complained they were not allowed to address the crowd at the event.
“What has happened at STEM is awful, but it’s not a statistic,” one student said, according to Time. “We can’t be used for a reason for gun control. We are people, not a statement.”
“I do wish there had been a little more time between commemorating those we lost and the events that took place, before people began pushing agendas,” STEM senior Joe Eriqat told the Denver Post.
The two ghoulish left-wing politicians were Sen. Michael Bennet (D-Colo.), one of the many nobodies seeking the Democratic Party’s 2020 presidential nomination, and soon-to-be one-term Rep. Jason Crow (D-Colo.), whose congressional district includes the K-12 institution known as STEM School Highlands Ranch, according to Fox News.
“We live in a great country, but we need to fix these broken gun laws,” Bennet told the audience.
“You and your children deserve more,” Crow said at the vigil. “You elected leaders to pass laws … our children deserve action.”
“STEM School students walked out of a vigil tonight after @RepJasonCrow & @SenatorBennet spoke,” Kyle Clark, an anchor with 9NEWS in Denver, wrote on Twitter. “Students said their grief was being politicized. They later returned, took the mic, and some said they didn’t want to be used to promote gun control.”
Approximately 2,000 people crowded into a high school gymnasium to commemorate the life of 18-year-old Kendrick Castillo, who was shot dead as he attempted to confront one of the shooters. Police say Castillo and two of his classmates halted what could have become a mass-casualty event. Eight others were reportedly injured.
“They were just talking about Kendrick like he was a prop and that wasn’t something I could handle,” said Christopher, 17, a senior at the school.
“We are pretty much really mad because they turned us into politics about gun control when we came here to respect our brother Kendrick,” said a student identified as Gavin.
Students became uncomfortable when Laura Reeves of Moms Demand Action moved forward with a stump speech advocating gun control.
“Her whole speech was about politics, not about Kendrick,” a 17-year-old STEM senior told the Denver Post. “She painted this really dystopian life with bullets on every corner — that’s not how it is here in Highlands Ranch.”
In an historic occurrence not likely ever to occur again, the gun-grabbers of the Brady Campaign issued an apology to students.
“We are deeply sorry any part of this vigil did not provide the support, caring and sense of community we sought to foster and facilitate and which we know is so crucial to communities who suffer the trauma of gun violence,” the group said.
Meanwhile, gun-grabbers have been on a losing streak lately.
A few days ago, the Wisconsin Supreme Court threw out a lawsuit against Armslist LLC that claimed the company’s website was liable for the 2012 acquisition of a gun by Radcliffe Haughton who went on to murder three people. The court found the federal Communications Decency Act shielded the company from liability for posts by third parties.
At the end of April the Supreme Court of the State of New York dismissed two charges against Benjamin Wassell under the New York Secure Ammunition and Firearms Enforcement Act of 2013 (NY SAFE Act). Wassell had been found guilty of selling a semi-automatic rifle to an undercover law enforcement officer.
But the court found then-Attorney General Eric Schneiderman (D), an ambulance-chasing left-wing crusader, erred in prosecuting the defendant himself instead of leaving the matter to the state police. This is reportedly the first conviction under the NY Safe Act to be thrown out. The statute, pushed by leftist demagogue Andrew Cuomo, the Democrat governor of the Empire State, is infamous for banning sales of “assault-style weapons” and possession of large-capacity magazines and clips.
And a constitutional challenge to New York City’s uniquely restrictive gun laws is pending in the Supreme Court, which on April 29 denied a request by the city to indefinitely suspend the case.
In the case known as New York State Rifle and Pistol Association v. City of New York, the city claimed the appeal should be paused because it was in the process of amending its peculiarly onerous law that prevents lawful gun permit holders from transporting their unloaded, locked-up weapons outside city limits. The Supreme Court rejected the motion. Oral arguments are expected to take place in the fall.
Former U.S. Solicitor General Paul Clement is asking the high court to expand on the constitutional gun rights it articulated in District of Columbia v. Heller (2010), which protects an individual’s right to possess a firearm, and McDonald v. Chicago (2012), which holds the right of an individual to “keep and bear arms” is constitutionally incorporated, or made applicable, to the states.
Clement said the case “is a perfect vehicle to reaffirm that those decisions and the constitutional text have consequences.”
And law enforcement officers and individual Americans loyal to the Constitution are resisting gun-control over-reaches in several states.
The “Second Amendment sanctuary county” movement got a huge boost recently from Illinois, where 64 of the state’s 102 counties have reportedly signed on.
More than two dozen counties in Colorado say they will resist the state’s red flag law, which makes it easy to take a gun owner’s firearms away. The gun-removal petition can reportedly be filed by telephone or in person and the filer doesn’t have to provide his or her address or even be a resident of Colorado.
Legislation committing jurisdictions to resist overbroad anti-gun measures has been adopted or is reportedly under consideration in jurisdictions in Maryland, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, and Washington.
Since 2013 Alaska has prohibited state and municipal agencies from using government assets to help enforce federal gun-control measures. Idaho enacted legislation in 2014 nullifying future federal gun laws. In 2014 Kansas enacted the Second Amendment Protection Act which declares any “act, law, treaty, order, rule or regulation of the government of the United States which violates” the Second Amendment to be “null, void and unenforceable in the state of Kansas.”
All of these legal and political challenges to anti-Second Amendment laws, coupled with student revulsion at the disgusting tactics of the gun-control movement, bode well for America’s future.

Microsoft is set to release a new version of Word that uses artificial intelligence to make your writing ‘politically correct’.
You know how annoying it is when the iPhone corrects ‘f___ing’ to ‘ducking’ every time you type out the word? Imagine that for an entire essay.
The new feature, called ‘Ideas in Word’, will recommend ‘sensitive’ phrases like “We need to get some fresh blood in here” be modified so that “fresh blood” becomes “new employees”.
“It might underline places where your writing exhibited gender bias,” reports Fast Company. “If you tend to say “mailman” or Congressman” in the generic, it might suggest you use “mailperson” or “Congressperson.” If you use the term “gentlemen’s agreement,” it may suggest you use “unspoken agreement” instead.”
The term “disabled person” would be replaced with “person with a disability” while the new version’s “inclusiveness check” searches for words or phrases that might be “offensive” to someone from another country or culture.
Mark Sullivan, who is a fan of the new features, says he is worried about “unknowingly or accidentally inserting terms or references in my writing that convey value judgements that I don’t really mean” and wants to avoid “writing something that might offend”.

Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes warns in a New York Times op-ed that the power Mark Zuckerberg is “unprecedented” and un-American”.
Hughes is calling for Facebook to be broken up, but despite brazen censorship of conservatives actually believes that the platform’s algorithm has helped populist political movements.
“I’m disappointed in myself and the early Facebook team for not thinking more about how the News Feed algorithm could change our culture, influence elections and empower nationalist leaders,” wrote Hughes.
Despite this, Hughes worries that Zuckerberg has created a monopoly and is strangling competition with his continued quest for world domination, saying The Facebook CEO has “created a leviathan that crowds out entrepreneurship and restricts consumer choice”.
Hughes notes that “collective anger is growing” over Facebook’s behavior and suggests that government intervention is the only way to address it.
“If we do not take action, Facebook’s monopoly will become even more entrenched,” he warns, arguing that a push for anti-trust action and a new regulatory agency for social media is necessary.
“We are a nation with a tradition of reining in monopolies, no matter how well intentioned the leaders of these companies may be. Mark’s power is unprecedented and un-American,” writes Hughes. “It is time to break up Facebook.”

More agents than ever before are calling in sick to work or showing up sick, says a Border Patrol union representative who worries too many agents are succumbing to illnesses brought by illegal aliens.
Carlos Favela, president of the National Border Patrol Council Local 1929, says the number of agents affected by illnesses has reached alarming levels in recent years, with an estimated 20 to 25 agents from the El Paso sector calling in sick each day, while others come in to work sick because they’ve used up their sick days.
“I believe this is probably the record, you know, Border Patrol-wide, since ever, of agents calling in sick,” Favela told ABC-7.
According to Favela, numerous agents are filing union reports claiming they’ve contracted everything from the H1N1 virus to chicken pox to Legionnaires’ disease after coming in contact with sick illegals encountered at the border.
Favela says agents are concerned they could infect their family members with infectious diseases such as tuberculosis.
“The nightmare for the agent out in the field,” said Favela, “is that they contract tuberculosis or some kind of bacterial disease and they unknowingly take that home to their families and then their whole family is sick.”
To the border union president, the increase in sick agents coincides with the number of illegals arriving at the border.
KVIA reports, “Newly-released figures from the Department of Homeland Security reveal Border Patrol agents encountered 109,144 migrants in April 2019, the highest since 2007.”
Favela argues it’s hard to get the evidence needed to quantify the issue and prove a correlation, but he pushes back against Border Patrol officials who say they haven’t noticed the trend.
“That’s false,” he said. “Ever since the big surge of the immigrants started coming in, even as far back as September, we started seeing those numbers slightly increase – of agents calling in sick.”
The border rep is urging the CDC to implement changes to better protect agents’ health, including providing more screenings from doctors instead of nurses and new quarantine facilities for sick illegals.

The character was 12 years old when he was introduced to the show.“Arthur,” which features anthropomorphized animals, is aimed at children aged four to eight. It is broadcast on PBS Kids, and its educational purpose is purportedly to interest children in reading. The show is based on the Arthur adventure books by Marc Brown. Mr. Ratburn was originally based on Brown’s own middle school algebra teacher.This is not Arthur’s first foray into the adult world of same-sex partnerships. According to Variety, an “Arthur” spin-off show called “Postcards from Buster” featured a female same-sex couple in 2005. The then-Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings wrote a letter of protest to the tax-funded PBS, underscoring that the show was meant to prepare children for school.“We believe the “Sugartime!” episode does not come within these purposes or within the intent of Congress, and would undermine the overall objective of the Ready-To-Learn program — to produce programming that reaches as many children and families as possible,” Spelling wrote in 2005.“Many parents would not want their young children exposed to the life-styles portrayed in this episode.
