Socialist Bernie Sanders just endorsed the bleeding-heart candidate for San Francisco District Attorney who makes President Obama’s Attorney General, Eric Holder, look like Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
Meet Chesa Boudin. He’s the Bay Area public defender and former shill/translator for the late Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez who plans to turn the craphole of San Francisco into an even bigger sanctuary for the homeless, drug abusers, illegal immigrants, gangsters, vandals, thieves, recidivist criminals and cop-haters than it is already. Boudin leads a spooky field of left-lefter-leftists running for DA on the Nov. 5 ballot.
The cornerstone of Boudin’s campaign is sabotaging immigration enforcement. He has called for prosecution and imprisonment of ICE and police officers for doing their jobs and vowed to create an “immigrant defense unit” within the DA’s office to “stand up to Trump on immigration.”
While American veterans beg for money on San Francisco’s feces-clogged street corners, Boudin will instead subsidize “universal legal representation” for illegal immigrants facing deportation.
While American angel families are denied standing in American courts to sue the sanctuary outlaws whose policies enabled criminals in this country illegally to injure, rape or murder their loved ones, Boudin will “help every single immigrant victim of every crime obtain a U-Visa.”
Boudin’s campaign tagline claims he wants to build a criminal justice system “for everyone, not just the wealthy and well-connected.” The chutzpah. It burns.
Well-connected? Boudin has been endorsed by a who’s who of far-left celebrities, from Sanders to Hamas-linked “Women’s March” co-founder Linda Sarsour to Black Lives Matter hate crime hoax propagandist Shaun King to radical Chicago DA and Jussie Smollett fixer Kim Foxx to Black Panther Party commie revolutionary Angela Davis.
Wealthy? Boudin is the top fundraiser in the San Francisco DA’s race, raking in more than $623,000 in donations this year — a significant chunk from out-of-state academics, entertainment industry executives, and East Coast lawyers in New York and D.C. I discovered from Boudin’s most recent campaign finance disclosures that one of his top donors is Chloe Cockburn. She is a prominent partner of globalist billionaire George Soros’ Democracy Alliance. Cockburn moderated a crucial 2017 summit with Soros and other deep-pocketed liberal philanthropists to strategize on taking over local and state offices to reclaim “our progressive future.” Other bigwig Boudin donors hail from the Soros-allied Tides Foundation and Soros-funded Brennan Center for Justice.
What makes Boudin especially toxic is his family tree. Boudin is the militant offspring of spoiled-rich radicals Kathy Boudin and David Gilbert, members of the violent Weather Underground terrorist group, which bombed government buildings and corporate headquarters, aided convicted felons in jailbreaks and participated in a 1981 Brink’s armored car holdup in Nyack, New York, with the Black Liberation Army. That crime took the lives of three innocent Americans — police officers Edward O’Grady and Waverly Brown and private security guard Peter Paige.
Kathy Boudin was an 11-year fugitive from justice after an accidental homemade bomb explosion at her New York City townhouse resulted in three other deaths. At the time of her arrest in Nyack, Boudin gave police one of many false identities she had used to evade the law. She was paroled in 2003 after convincing parole board members that she acted nobly out of “white guilt” to protest racism against blacks. (Reality check: Officer Waverly Brown was a black, working-class military veteran.) Gilbert remains in prison. Their story was glorified and romanticized by Robert Redford in the 2013 movie, “The Company You Keep.”
After Kathy Boudin dropped off toddler Chesa at a babysitter’s house so she could help perpetrate the bloody $1.6 million Brink’s heist, this privileged elitist was adopted by another pair of America-hating domestic agitators, unrepentant Weathermen colleagues Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. Ayers celebrated bombing the Pentagon in his radical memoir, “Fugitive Days,” taught at the University of Illinois in Chicago, and mentored Barack Obama. Dohrn declared war on “AmeriKKKa,” helped stage the “Days of Rage” in Chicago, when Weathermen blew up a memorial statue to police officers and rioted violently, leaving 75 policemen wounded and one permanently injured in a wheelchair, and then spent years as a fugitive from justice before settling into a comfy post as former director of the Legal Clinic’s Children and Family Justice Center at Northwestern University.
Steeped in Marxist ideology and self-pity, Boudin moaned to The New York Times that he was “sad that my parents have to suffer what they have to suffer on a daily basis” because they were “dedicated to fighting U.S. imperialism around the world.” No compassion for the families of the officers his parents helped murder, but the Yale grad and Rhodes Scholar did earn praise for his crusades against “urban misery in Bolivia, homelessness in Santiago and illiteracy in Guatemala.”
Now Boudin wants to avenge his cop-killing parents by imposing “restorative justice” and “decarceration” policies that will incentivize violent crime and endanger lives in San Francisco and beyond. If you think California is on fire now, just wait until this red diaper baby takes control of the prosecutorial wheel.

BERNIE SANDERS ATTENDS ISNA CONVENTION WITH ISLAMIC SUPREMACISTS WHO BACKED KILLING GAY PEOPLE

BERNIE SANDERS ATTENDS ISNA CONVENTION
WITH ISLAMIC SUPREMACISTS WHO BACKED
KILLING GAY PEOPLE
BY DANIEL GREENFIELD

And the media refuses to cover it.
When ISNA, an Islamic group accused of supporting terrorists, announced a presidential forum for ISNACON 2019, the expectations were low. The Islamic Society of North America had beencreated by Muslim Brotherhood members and was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Hamas Holy Land Foundation trial.
And even if the 2020 Democrats were willing to overlook the minor matter of murdering Jews, which they usually are, Muzammil Siddiqi, ISNA’s former president who chairs its Fiqh Council, which dispenses Islamic sharia law, has assented to the death penalty for homosexuality.
At the 2019 ISNA convention, Siddiqi spoke on “Strengthening Our Connection with Allah.”
Imam Siraj Wahhaj, an unindicted co-conspirator in the World Trade Center bombing, was there at an Imam Round Table. Wahhaj has repeatedly endorsed violence against non-Muslims. That wouldn’t bother Democrats, but Wahhaj has also declared that “masculine women” are “cursed”, claimed that the “feminist movement” is headed by “lesbians” and then offered a reminder of Islam’s LGBT position.
“And you know, brothers and sisters, you know what the punishment is, if a man is found with another man? The Prophet Mohammad said the one who does it and the one to whom it is done to, kill them both,” Imam Wahhaj said.
(Meanwhile a social justice interfaith panel at the convention included ‘Rabbi’ Marissa Elana Singer, a lesbian anti-Israel activist with the T’ruah hate group, who works for Beit Simchat Torah, a gay temple.)
What kind of presidential candidate would attend a convention featuring support for killing gay people?
Either a very desperate candidate or an extremely radical candidate.
When ISNA finally held its Evening With Presidential Candidates, there were more moderators than candidates. The only two candidates who showed up were Julian Castro, who’s desperate enough to speak at a Pizza Hut or the Church of Satan, and Bernie Sanders, who keeps sinking to new lows.
The ISNA presidential forum was moderated by Salam Al-Marayati, the head of MPAC, who had defended Hamas and Hezbollah, and justified Hezbollah’s mass murder of Marines in Lebanon.
“I believe in the concept of solidarity,” Senator Bernie Sanders began his speech to an unindicted co-conspirator in funding the murder of Jews. He vowed that he would “forcefully combat this virulent ideology of racism and hatred” at a convention with speakers who had endorsed the murder of gays.
But Bernie was obviously speaking about President Trump and Republicans, rather than his own hosts.
“When radical extremists conduct violence in the name of Islam, I know that the overwhelming majority of Muslims and all of those in this room condemn that violence,” he falsely claimed.
His own moderator had described Hezbollah’s Islamic terrorism as “legitimate resistance”.
“I will never ever tell people, ‘don’t be violent, that is not the Islamic way.’ The violence has to be selected,” Imam Wahhaj, an upcoming panelist, had preached. “[W]hen Allah commands us to fight we are not stopping, no one will stop us.”
Bernie Sanders falsely accused Trump of harboring an “affection for authoritarian regimes around the world” while speaking at an event filled with speakers who support and endorse Islamic theocracy.
After his usual spiel about corporations and the wealthiest Americans, a group that includes the socialist candidate, he began serving up red Halal meat to the Islamists, denouncing China for fighting terrorism, and condemning India for attempting to protect Kashmir from Pakistani terror (Pakistani boss Imran Khan, who runs a brutal theocracy and terror state, was a featured speaker at the convention).
Then, to loud cheers from his Islamist audience, Senator Sanders called for “ending the Israeli occupation”.
What was Sanders doing at the Islamist convention of an unindicted co-conspirator?
Sanders was introduced by his campaign manager, Faiz Shakir. Shakir, a veteran of the failed ThinkProgress blog, had repeatedly attacked Israel and had been a member of the Harvard Islamic Society. HIS’s Islamic Awareness Week, which Shakir co-chaired, included a fundraiser for the Holy Land Foundation. ISNA’s unindicted co-conspirator status is based on the Holy Land Foundation. HLF was a pipeline funneling money to Hamas terrorists. Hamas believes in killing Jews in and out of Israel.
Why would Bernie Sanders attend the same event as Imam Wahhaj, who had preached, “If Allah says cut off their hand, you cut off their hand. If Allah says stone them to death, through the Prophet Muhammad, then you stone them to death”?
Bernie’s campaign surrogate is Linda Sarsour who, had addressed a previous ISNA convention by calling Wahhaj her “mentor” and “favorite person in the room”.
Bernie’s pro-Islamist foreign policy was shaped by a team of foreign policy advisors who include Robert Malley, the Soros employee whom the Obama campaign dumped over his contacts with Hamas (before bringing him in and elevating him to the highest levels of the administration’s food chain). Malley had repeatedly encouraged and defended the idea of dealing with the Muslim Brotherhood terror group.
These days, aside from advising Sanders, Malley heads the Soros-linked International Crisis Group.
Another of Bernie’s foreign policy advisors, Suzanne DiMaggio, is one of the co-founders of the Quincy Institute, an appeasement think tank funded by George Soros. Also advising Sanders is Joseph Cirincione, the head of Plougshares, the pro-Iran deal lobby which shares a common funding source with BDS groups. Valerie Plame, a former Ploughshares board member, was forced to resign over her anti-Semitic tweets. Plame is currently running in the Democrat primary for a House seat in New Mexico.
The official list of Bernie Sanders endorsements includes Keith Ellison, an Islamist with a history of anti-Semitism, and Julia Salazar, an anti-Israel BDS activist with the hate group, If Not Now, who wrongly claimed to be Jewish. The unofficial list at Feed the Bern, includes George Galloway, who had conducted propaganda broadcasts for Iran, and was recently fired by a radio network over an anti-Semitic tweet.
Galloway’s previous endorsees had included Saddam Hussein, Bashar Assad and the Soviet Union.
“If you are asking did I support the Soviet Union, yes I did. Yes, I did support the Soviet Union, and I think the disappearance of the Soviet Union is the biggest catastrophe of my life,” Galloway had once said.
It’s not hard to see why Galloway might have endorsed Bernie who had honeymooned in the USSR.
Other endorsees include Bernd Riexinger, who had tweeted, #IAmAntifa, Dov Khenin, a key figure in the Israeli Communist Party, who was part of an Islamist anti-Israel coalition in the Israeli Knesset, Niki Ashton, the Canadian version of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, who has backed Venezuela’s brutal socialist regime, was endorsed by a Muslim Holocaust denier, and attended pro-terror events.
When that’s Bernie’s base, it’s no wonder that he wound up speaking at an Islamist convention where anti-Israel lesbian lefties rub shoulders with Islamist clerics who endorse the murder of gay people.
Had President Trump appeared at a convention whose panel members have defended killing gay people, it would have been a nationwide story that would have been covered widely and extensively.
Instead, Bernie Sanders and Julian Castro appeared at a convention with Islamic clerics who have defended the death penalty for homosexuality, and no one in the media wanted to cover the story.
Not CNN. Not the Washington Post. And not the New York Times.
Just like Bernie, when faced with a choice between gay rights and Islamism, they chose Islam.
And Bernie Sanders and Julian Castro, and the Dems who failed to condemn them, should be confronted with it and reminded of it every time they tout LGBT rights and accuse Republicans of bigotry.

RASHIDA TLAIB-THE JEW HATER WHO CONDEMNS ‘INJUSTICE’

THE CONNECTION TO “MIFTAH”, A RABID ANTI-JEW, ANTI-ISRAEL GROUP WHICH SPONSORED THEIR TRIP
RASHIDA TLAIB-THE JEW HATER WHO CONDEMNS ‘INJUSTICE’

A look at the long, ugly track record of an anti-Semitic congresswoman

BY DISCOVER THE NETWORKS
republished below in full unedited for informational, educational and research purposes:
Rashida Tlaib made headlines recently when it was learned that she and fellow congresswoman Ilhan Omar shunned a bipartisan congressional delegation to Israel and announced that they would instead schedule an independent trip – sponsored by the notoriously anti-Israel nongovernmental organization Miftah – to the Jewish state. But Israel’s government – in accordance with an Israeli law barring the issuance of visas to any foreigners who, like Tlaib and Omar, advocate economic and cultural boycotts against Israel – stated that the two congresswomen would not be permitted to enter the country.

Shortly thereafter, the Israeli government softened its stance and agreed to allow Tlaib to enter the West Bank in order to visit her grandmother. But Tlaib, playing the role of martyr, turned down the offer, tweeting: “When I won [election to Congress], it gave the Palestinian people hope that someone will finally speak the truth about the inhumane conditions. I can’t allow the State of Israel to take away that light by humiliating me & use my love for my [grandmother] to bow down to their oppressive & racist policies. Silencing me & treating me like a criminal is not what she wants for me. It would kill a piece of me. I have decided that visiting my grandmother under these oppressive conditions stands against everything I believe in — fighting against racism, oppression & injustice.”

But if we look at the track record of this self-proclaimed champion of justice, we find a long history of Jew-hatred coupled with a pronounced affinity for radical Islamists.

In an October 2015 tweet, for instance, Tlaib linked to an article in The Nation lauding Black Lives Matteractivists in Chicago for supporting “a Palestinian woman threatened with deportation.” The woman in question was Rasmea Odeh, a Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine terrorist who had played a central role in a deadly 1969 bombing in Jerusalem.

In December 2017, Tlaib shared a Facebook post in which Muslim activist Linda Sarsour had expressed support for Ahed Tamimi, a 17-year-old Palestinian girl whom Israeli authorities had recently incarcerated for assaulting an IDF soldier and proclaiming that “everyone must” attack Israeli Jews by means of “stabbings, martyrdom-seeking operations [i.e. suicide bombings], throwing stones.” “Absolutely inhumane to target a young girl for fighting against racist policies,” wrote Tlaib. “Her voice should be lifted.”

In February 2018 Tlaib joined a Facebook group called the “Palestinian American Congress,” which commonly demonizes Jews. The group’s Palestinian founder, Maher Abdel-qader: (a) helped raise funds for Tlaib’s political campaign and organized some of her campaign events; (b) has accused Israeli settlers of training children “to terrorize Palestinian civilians”; and (c) once used his Facebook page to share a video claiming that Jews have no historical claim to Israel, and that stories of the Holocaust are gross exaggerations if not complete fabrications.

Upon winning her Democratic congressional primary on August 7, 2018, Tlaib draped herself in a Palestinian flag while celebrating with her supporters. In her victory speech, she promised to “fight back against every racist and oppressive structure that needs to be dismantled.” When she was subsequently asked by Great Britain’s Channel 4 News if she planned to vote against U.S. military aid to Israel, Tlaib responded: “Absolutely, if it has something to do with inequality and not access to people having justice.”

In December 2018, Tlaib become just the second U.S. lawmaker — the first was Ilhan Omar— to publicly voice support for the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement. “I personally support the BDS movement,” Tlaib said in an interview with the news website The Intercept. “I want us to see that segregation and how that has really harmed us being able to achieve real peace in that region.”

On January 3, 2019 — her first official day as a new Member of Congress, which was now in Democratic control for the first time in eight years — Tlaib told a raucous crowd of supporters at a MoveOn.org reception near Capitol Hill that Donald Trump’s days as President were numbered: “We’re going to go in there, and we’re going to impeach the motherfu**er.” When she was sworn into office, Tlaib wore a traditional Palestinian gown and took her oath by placing her hand on a copy of the Koran. That same day, a member of Tlaib’s entourage used a post-it bearing the name “Palestine” along with an arrow pointing to Israel on a wall map in Tlaib’s office, to indicate that this should be Israel’s new name.

A notable attendee at Tlaib’s swearing-in ceremony was the executive director and co-founder of Al-Awda, Abbas Hamideh, who has repeatedly: (a) stated his belief that “Israel does not have a right to exist”; (b) equated Zionism with Nazism and the genocidal ideology of ISIS; and (c) voiced support for Hezbollah and its leader, Hassan Nasrallah, whom he regards as “the most honorable Arab-Muslim leader of our lifetime.” Moreover, Hamideh in 2015 had publicly lamented the death of the man he called “the legendary Hezbollah martyr” Samir Kuntar, who years earlier had murdered a 31-year-old Israeli Jew named Danny Haran as the latter’s four-year-old daughter watched in horror, before proceeding to kill the girl as well by smashing her skull against a rock with his rifle. Following Tlaib’s swearing-in ceremony, Hamideh posted to his Twitter account a photo of himself and Tlaib holding up a large painting of the newly elected congresswoman. He also attended a private celebratory dinner with Tlaib, her family, and a number of her friends and activists.

During the first week of January 2019, Tlaib used her Twitter account to condemn her Congressional colleagues who backed a bill designed to allow local, state, and federal agencies to avoid doing business with companies or organizations that supported the Hamas-inspired Boycott-Divestment-Sanction (or BDS) movement against Israel. “They forgot what country they represent,” wrote Tlaib. “This is the U.S. where boycotting is a right & part of our historical fight for freedom & equality,” she tweeted.

In March 2019, Tlaib posed for a photograph with Palestinian activist Nader Jalajel, who in February 2018 had mourned the death of Hamas terrorist Ahmed Jarrar, the leader of a January 2018 shooting attack that killed a rabbi in Israel. On his Facebook page, Jalajel wrote “Allah Yerhamo,” or “May God have mercy on him,” above a photo of a rifle-brandishing Jarrar, who, by Jalajel’s telling, had died “after a long battle resisting the brutal Israeli occupation and defending his people and his land.” In August 2019, Jalajel articulated similar condolences after IDF personnel killed four heavily armed Hamas terrorists who had crossed the border from Gaza into Israel. “LONG LIVE THE RESISTANCE!!!” Jalajel wrote.

And just last month, Tlaib and fellow Democrats Ilhan Omar and John Lewis co-sponsored a House Resolution supporting the BDS movement and comparing Israel to apartheid South Africa and Nazi Germany. The resolution called on House members to oppose “unconstitutional legislative efforts to limit the use of boycotts to further civil rights at home and abroad,” a reference to resolutions that had been passed in several states to prohibit the granting of government contracts to companies that backed BDS.

Rashida Tlaib portrays herself as a voice in the chorus against “racism, oppression & injustice,” but in fact she promotes those abhorrent vices more vocally and more consistently than almost anyone else in American government. By any measure, she is a committed enemy of Israel and the Jewish people.

"The Israeli government’s decision to ban Congresswomen Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar from visiting Palestine is an affront to the American people and their representatives. It is an assault on the Palestinian people’s right to reach out to decision- makers and other actors from around the world. As a sponsor of this trip, MIFTAH worked hard to organize a well-rounded visit for Congresswomen Tlaib, Omar, and Palskett, in order to facilitate their engagement with Palestinian civil society and to provide them with an opportunity to see the reality of occupation for themselves. This is their right and duty as members of Congress, who oversee US policies and actions that affect Palestine, Israel, and countries worldwide.
Like all prolific human rights abusers, Israel wants to impose a blackout on the reality in occupied Palestine and prevent Congresswomen Tlaib, Omar from having direct contact with the Palestinian people, who are subject to Israel’s cruel regime of colonization, oppression, and land grab. Meanwhile, Israel has welcomed AIPAC-organized and funded visits of nearly 80 members of Congress to the region this week. This ban is a clear case of discrimination and hostility based on political views and ethnic background, deserving of moral indignation and unequivocal condemnation in Palestine and the United States."

Ironically, one the “Palestinian realities” of which Miftah reminds us is that the Palestinian Authority (PA) regards Palestinian Arab murderers of American citizens as heroes.
The official Miftah website features an essay by one of the group’s leaders, Ms. Johara Baker, profusely praising Dalal Mughrabi, the murderer of Gail Rubin, the niece of the late US Senator Abraham Ribicoff, Democrat of Connecticut.

REVISITED: WHO IS KHIZR KHAN?~MUSLIM SHARIA ENFORCER & DEMOCRAT OPERATIVE, PHONY CONSTITUTION SUPPORTER

khizr copy
“The father is Khizer Khan. He is a Pakistani Muslim immigrant and immigration lawyer who is neither hero nor a person otherwise to be honored.
Indeed, Khizr Khan has made his wealth in America as a Muslim immigration lawyer associated with a large law firm by importing other mostly wealthy Muslims in the notoriously corrupt “EB5″ immigration visa program. That EP5 cash-cow for immigration lawyers is, of course, threatened by the possible election of Donald Trump.”

Trump on His Sacrifices, Responds to Khan Family

Khizr Khan wrote that any writings on judicial matters “must always be subordinated to the Shari’ah and open to reconsideration by all Muslims.”
“And then there is the celebrated Khizr Khan. Intelius records that Khizr Khan has worked at Hogan Lovells Llp. According to the Washington Free Beacon, “Hogan Lovells LLP, another U.S. firm hired by the Saudis, is registered to work for the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia through 2016, disclosures show. Robert Kyle, a lobbyist from the firm, has bundled $50,850 for Clinton’s campaign.” The Free Beacon added that the Saudi government has “supplied the Clinton Foundation with millions. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has given between $10 and $25 million to the foundation while Friends of Saudi Arabia has contributed between $1 and $5 million.””
WHO IS KHIZR KHAN?
BY ANDREW HARROD
republished below in full unedited for informational, educational and research purposes:
The condition of American border detention centers “reminds us of the concentration camps of the Second World War,” stated Khizr Khan this past July 4 at Thomas Jefferson’s historic Monticello estate near Charlottesville, Virginia. This Holocaust-trivializing hyperbole was among the controversial statements at Monticello’s annual new citizen oath ceremony that indicate the disturbing questions surrounding this Gold Star father and contemporary political sensation.
The Charlottesville resident Khan has had numerous high profile speaking engagements on television, at the Oxford Union, and elsewhere since he burst onto the national scene at the 2016 Democratic National Convention (DNC). There he undertook a searing attack against then-Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in an address that profiled Khan’s son, Humayun, who valiantly fell in combat as an American army officer during the Iraq war. At Monticello, Thomas Jefferson Foundation President Leslie Greene Bowman introduced Khan as an “advocate for constitutional rights, religious liberty, civic engagement, and, importantly, national unity.”
Khan effused patriotic praise for cherished American institutions such as the Bill of Rights, a “sacred document.” As on past occasions, he stated that his study of the Constitution came to the conclusion that “there is none like our Rule of Law, our Separation of Power, our Checks and Balances,” although he only passed the New York State bar in 2010. He enthused that Charlottesville is the “blessed city of Thomas Jefferson, and home of Mr. Jefferson’s University,” the University of Virginia. (The local city council, which recently abolished the birthday of the slaveholder Jefferson as a city holiday, made no comment.)
Nonetheless, Khan worried about America, whose elections face “cyber and social media interference by our adversaries.” He noted a 2016 letter he had received from a retired military nurse with 20 years of service including World War II in Europe. The letter warned that America’s modern conditions “are so similar to the time of pre-second world war in Europe.”
Khan’s mixed Monticello remarks reflect the past practice of a man who, as at the DNC, always presents himself as among “patriotic Muslims with undivided loyalty to this country” amidst present societal threats. Even as Trump “consistently smears the character of Muslims,” Khan has proclaimed his opposition to “un-Americanness” and lauded America as the “most generous country in the world.” He has emphasized his belief in human equality, something he attributes to the influence of his grandfather, who was an admirer of the 13th-century Islamic Sufi mystic Rumi.
Khan has especially noted how his son, who came to the United States at age three, reflected the immigrant family’s embrace of American ideals. Humayun’s sacrificial life was a “testament” to America and “speaks to the goodness of this country,” Khan has said. “Caring for others, sacrifice, standing up for those who needed his support…all that was made here,” particularly duringHumayun’s University of Virginia college years.
However, various details of Khan’s life offer a more troubling, less pro-American portrait. He has disturbingly written that for Muslims the Quran “is the absolute authority from which springs the very conception of legality and every legal obligation.” He has praised a pro-sharia, pro-jihad Pakistani minister of law and religious affairs who did much to Islamicize Khan’s ancestral homeland where an anti-Semitic 9/11 conspiracy theorist currently head’s Khan’s law school alma mater.
Khan’s legal work has involved a major Washington, DC, law firm that has a longstanding retainer from the Saudi Arabian government and is registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act. He has also specialized as a lawyer in a visa program riddled with corruption that helps predominantly Middle Eastern foreigners effectively buy their way into America. The law firm and Saudi Arabia had numerous, deep ties to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign.
Khan’s partisan Democratic loyalties will not please all Americans. In 2016 he had “proven to be an effective surrogate for Hillary Clinton’s campaign, especially when it comes to mobilizing American Muslims,” the Muslim Brotherhood-linked Islamic Circle of North America (ICNAnoted. He made a Clinton campaign advertisement, a step that began his role as a prominent spokesman for America’s political left.
As the Washington Times has observed, Khan has been invited to speak to the likes of the Human Rights Campaign, the American Civil Liberties Union and the Anti-Defamation League, has been invited to join the board of directors at People for the American Way, and has weighed in on congressional and governor’s races spanning the country.
Unlike most Americans and with little evidence, Khan at Monticello and elsewhere has continuously claimed that Russian election interference won Trump the election, even though no evidence links Trump with Russian collusion. “We have fallen victim to the propaganda of Soviets and of Russia,” Khan has saidand “nobody denies that Russia has influenced our election” in 2016. Now the “beneficiary of that attack is sitting in the White House” as “Putin’s puppet,” a “Russian-tainted president” whose investments have “Russian laundered money.”
Just as Trump has tweeted, Khan has “viciously attacked” Trump in numerous tirades, like Khan’s admonition against the dangerous “authoritarian mentality that is in the White House.” At an ISNA 2016 convention press conference he sounded anti-Trump tropes like “civility in American political discourse, it is so much needed.” Rather than criticize leftist media bias against Trump and others, he declared that the “media is the fourth pillar of democracy” and “has to have some credibility, some respect.”
As Jihad Watch’s Robert Spencer has noted, Khan has also engaged in “flagrantly deceptive” whitewashes of sharia Islamic law. “There is no such thing in any country that is sharia,” he has said. Muslim-majority countries merely have a “hodge-podge” of European colonial and local legal codes. By contrast, the “United States has the Islamic law, which is equal protection of law” while references to sharia are simply a bigoted anti-Muslim “dog-whistle.”
Correspondingly, Khan always denies any connection between jihadist atrocities and the “universal message of Islam, which is peace.” He has dismissed jihadists in the Islamic State and other groups as “terrorists. These are criminals. These folks have nothing to do with Islam” and have a “hijacked concept” and “perverted version of Islam.” He has decried global sharia persecution of Christians as “un-Islamic acts” and called upon the 2016 ISNA convention to “clean that smear of violence from the name of Islam.”
Khan’s wife Ghazala has similarly proclaimed that “Islam is a so peaceful religion and I am really proud of my religion.” She has dubiously described the relationship between Muslim husbands and wives as egalitarian. “Islam teaches us to be equal but we have different responsibility.”
Belying this benign rhetoric, as a “suit-wearing jihadi” Khan has repeatedly shilled for the Hamas-derived, pro-sharia Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), including making a 2016 election Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) call. He addressed CAIR’s 2016 national gala dinner in Arlington, Virginia, alongside anti-Semitic extremists like Linda Sarsour. The following year he undertook a national speaking tour addressing CAIR chapters in Cedar Rapids and Des Moines, Iowa, DallasKansasSeattle, and St. Louis.
Khan in 2017 called for supporting CAIR on behalf of its Los Angeles chapter. He stated that “CAIR will continue to fight for our rights, defend the freedoms enshrined in our Constitution, and confront the maliciousness of Islamophobia” against “Trump and his circle of dangerous advisors.” He also made a CAIR 2017 Memorial Day video in which he called upon Americans to commit “to unity, liberty, justice, and, finally, to an end to all wars,” a statement that could imply rejection of future American military engagements.
Khan likewise addressed the 2016 convention of CAIR’s fellow Muslim Brotherhood-derived extremists in the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA). With hugs, Sarsour warmly introduced him and his wife Ghazala as “uncle” and “auntie” while he responded in kind by saying that Sarsour “is so inspiring.” “God bless you, God keep you strong, and continue to speak,” he said to her and declared to the gala dinner audience that “I see my mentors, my leaders, sitting everywhere.” “Takbir—Allahu Akbar” chants resounded during a ceremony where he received ISNA’s “Outstanding Ambassadors of Islam” award.
Khan’s radical company is at odds with his calls for Muslims domestically in Western societies to assimilate and confront jihadist ideologies while immigrant vetting should keep out dangerous individuals. “Muslims bear the main burden of eradicating this menace from the United States,” and “there should be the strictest standards to scrutinize” entry into the United States. “All patriots are for very strong immigration policy,” the “processing of these folks that come into this country…needs to be enhanced and needs to be made even stronger.”
Yet Khan has lambasted Trump’s temporary travel restrictions on mostly Muslim-majority countries as “internationally illegal” and “unconstitutional.” Khan has called for the United Kingdom to ban Trump from a state visit in retaliation for this policy that “is only to appease his small number of racist base” and “Islamophobes.” He has falsely predicted that the Supreme Court’s “Muslim ban decision” supporting Trump will become as infamous as the Dred Scott case upholding slavery and the court’s World War II affirmation of Japanese-American internment.
Khan in general has expressed liberal immigration views, like his statement to the 2016 DNC that “we cannot solve our problems by building walls” and his belief that “mankind is becoming one community.” “Our forefathers wanted more immigrants because they knew immigrants bring prosperity, hard work,” he has said while citing the Declaration of Independence. One grievance here against King George III is that he “has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners.”
Khan’s compelling personal narrative cannot gloss over his suspect views and associations. After rising to prominence on the basis of his son’s tragic sacrifice, the elder Khan, perhaps because of naiveté and wishful thinking concerning his faith, has actually abetted ideological fellow travelers of his son’s killers. Precisely Humayun’s last full measure of devotion sets a contrary example of vigilance for Americans to follow.

THE QATAR SUPPORTER ADVISING KAMALA HARRIS

OIL MONEY FOR THE HARRIS CAMPAIGN?
THE QATAR SUPPORTER ADVISING KAMALA HARRIS

Harris has a much bigger problem than some Russian bots

BY DANIEL GREENFIELD
republished below in full unedited for informational, educational and research purposes:
Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism.
The biggest split in foreign policy circles isn’t over Iran or Israel. Virtually all foreign policy professionals oppose Israel and support some sort of arrangement with Iran. The real split is over Qatar.
The tiny Islamist country is both a major state sponsor of terrorist groups, especially those aligned with the Muslim Brotherhood, and has wormed its way deep into the political establishment in this country. Qatar’s dark side aligns it with Hamas, Iran and Al Qaeda on one side, and the Brookings Institute, the Washington Post, and D.C. lobbyists on the other. Its hackers target political opponents in the United States and feed the results to major media outletsAl Jazeera, its propaganda outlet, spans the two worlds, that of the Islamists working to seize power and of Democrat activists in the United States.
Qatar enjoyed unprecedented access and influence in the Obama era. The Arab Spring brought many of its Brotherhood allies to power across the region before Saudi countercoups helped topple them. The struggle between Qatar, Turkey and Iran, and the Saudi-UAE coalition, has rippled through the media and the D.C. political establishment with flash points such as Yemen, Iran, and Jamal Khashoggi.
While the Senate, including much of the GOP, is Qatari territory, President Trump has been skeptical of the Islamic terror state. But the White House is up for grabs in 2020. Last month, Biden refunded a donation from a Qatari lobbyist. The Dem front runner though has been critical of Qatar (along with Turkey, the Saudis and the UAE) for funding Islamic terrorists and may not be a good bet.
Senator Kamala Harris, the politician breathing down Biden’s neck, is a very different story. One of her foreign policy advisors is Dana Shell Smith (pictured above), who had served as Obama's ambassador to Qatar.
Dana Shell Smith resigned her position after she implicitly attacked President Trump over the Comey firing and split from the White House over its criticism of Qatar. While the former ambassador’s tweets at the time were understated, a year later, she made her position abundantly clear.
"Qatar is an important friend and partner, and Trump is a moron," Dana Shell Smith tweeted.
Ambassadors represent United States interests in foreign countries, but Smith’s continued advocacy for Qatar, in and out of her post, raised questions about whom she was representing. When the Hudson Institute and the Foundation for Defense of Democracies convened a conference on Qatar and the Brotherhood, Smith allegedly contacted participants urging them to tone down criticism of Qatar.
“How naive I was to think that the conference participants and organizers might take into account a factual, balanced briefing from the sitting American Ambassador to Qatar,” she complained last year.
The complaint was packaged with a media hit piece attacking the conference utilizing the emails of an American hacked by Qatar. An investigation later showed that the reporter behind the piece had repeatedly spoken with a registered foreign agent for Qatar. The foreign agent has been accused by Elliot Broidy, a former RNC official victimized by the email hacks, of distributing them to the media.
While the Qatari hacks of Americans had allegedly been carried out by former intel operatives, next year it was Smith’s turn to act outraged when the UAE allegedly hacked Al Jazeera.
Dana Shell Smith, who not only hadn’t objected to Qatari hacks of Americans but had promoted a hit piece based on the stolen emails, demanded action when Qatari allies were on the receiving end. The former ambassador insisted that the government needed to stop Americans from hacking Qatar.
“Folks with these skill sets should not be able to knowingly or unknowingly undermine U.S. interests or contradict U.S. values,” Smith claimed.
She did not explain what American interests or values were undermined by hacking Osama bin Laden’s and the Muslim Brotherhood’s favorite jihadist propaganda network.
After stepping down, Dana Shell Smith became the CEO of Decibel Strategy. The “international strategy firm”, which appears to be run out of a house in Arlington, Virginia, has no information about it online except that it was founded to “advance business and professional ties between the United States and the Middle East.” There is no mention of who Decibel’s clients are and in which countries it operates.
Those are questions that should be answered now that Smith is advising Senator Kamala Harris.
Even as Smith is advising a 2020 candidate, she has continued spreading and promoting Qatari propaganda. Sample tweets included, “So happy to see @maddow covering the Gulf blockade and the characters who attempted to turn our government against an essential partner in the region.”
There had been questions about whom Dana Shell Smith had been representing all along. As ambassador, her article on the Islamic state sponsor of terror reads like Qatari propaganda.
Smith uncritically praised Qatar's tyrant. She touted its "highest per capita income" while refusing to mention the fact that it is dependent on a foreign slave labor force with less human rights than animals do in some countries.
"Our interests, bilaterally and regionally, have never aligned more closely," Smith claimed, even as the Islamic terror state was deeply engaged in backing Islamic terrorists across the troubled region.
Instead of a briefing, the ambassador's article utilized euphemisms that whitewashed Qatar's terror role.
Dana Shell Smith described Qatar's Islamist coups as an "assertive, independent foreign policy", and the resulting clashes as the Islamic terror state being "at odds with friends in the region and western governments, some of which disapproved of Doha’s perceived preference for working with Islamic opposition movements in places like Egypt, the Palestinian Territories, Libya, and Tunisia."
Blink and you miss a defense of Qatar's backing for Hamas.
Dana Shell Smith could have presented arguments in favor of Qatar's policies, but instead her article reads like Qatari PR that reframes problems as fuzzy euphemisms without ever addressing the issues.
Smith likewise reframes Qatar’s backing for the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamist groups as a plan to “embrace and include moderate Islamic voices in the governance of their respective countries.” Qatar’s role as a backchannel to jihadists is reframed as “the Emir’s perspective is unique among Middle Eastern leaders and makes Qatar an important conduit to key opposition groups in the region.”
This is Qatar’s agenda filtered through American PR.
There are serious questions to be asked and answered about Qatar’s influence in Washington D.C.
Qatar has been responsible for the rise of violence and instability across the region, for corrupting American political and media figures, and for hacking American political figures in order to influence our political process. These actions represent a far graver collusion threat than Russian bots on Facebook.
Especially considering Qatar’s links to the Islamic terrorists responsible for the murders of countless Americans. Including the thousands dead on September 11, in Afghanistan and across the Middle East.
As long as Senator Kamala Harris is being advised by Smith, those questions should be directed to her.

Qatar: Small, but dangerous

BY RAMI DABBAS
republished below in full unedited for informational, educational and research purposes:
Qatar has supported terrorism in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Libya, Tunisia and Egypt, and has spent huge amounts of money in support and funding of jihad groups and terrorist activities in Europe and elsewhere in the West. Qatar has supported jihad terrorism in order to gain a foothold in some Arab and regional countries, so as to counterbalance its small size and relative weakness, as well as its lack of any political or military weight in the Middle East. Indeed, Qatar has succeeded in penetrating some countries by means of terrorism and aiding in the formation of armed terrorist groups such as al Qaeda in Syria and Iraq, destabilizing security. Qataris also purchase political power and influence, furthering the Qatari dream of being a regional power, or at least giving the illusion of being one.
The main supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt was Qatar. The resounding fall of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and the insistence of the Egyptian people on getting rid of the Muslim Brotherhood regime has had a great impact on the psyche of the Qatari regime. This, in turn, has had a very negative effect on Qatar’s policies towards Egypt and other Arab countries that have rejected the Muslim Brotherhood’s terrorism, and who have also worked to eradicate it from that region and the world.
Qatar’s support for jihad terrorism became a political ideology that seeped into Qatari military, security, diplomatic and even charitable institutions. This has led to an unprecedented increase in the spread of jihad terrorism in the region, accompanied by the emergence of many jihad terrorist groups under the support of Qatar, which provides them with funds and weapons. This has prompted other Arab countries to boycott Qatar in order to stop its terrorist activities, which have violated the security and stability of the region.
Qatar-funded Muslim Brotherhood activities in Europe, meanwhile, have promoted Europe’s Islamization. Qatar’s solidarity with Iran and its coordination with the Islamic Revolutionary Guards (which is designated as a terrorist organization by the United States), the Quds Force, and the Iranian intelligence have worked to undermine the security and stability of the neighboring Arab countries in particular, and that of the entire world. Qatar’s activities in support of terrorism in the Gulf region and worldwide continue.
Qatar also supports the activities of notorious anti-West activists Linda Sarsour and Ilhan Omar, for example, and in an attempt to exploit poor youth, it recruits them for terrorist organizations such as the Houthis in Yemen, Hezbollah, and Iraqi sectarian jihadist militias, as well as for the remnants of the Islamic State (ISIS), in order to destabilize national security, especially in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, in retaliation for isolating Qatar and its ally, the Muslim Brotherhood. Qatar has hampered progress and development in the Arab anti-Muslim Brotherhood countries by targeting security and stability, striking at their relations with the world, and trying to target their interests and investments. This has become one of the main reasons for Qatar’s support for jihad terrorism.
Qatar has become an ally to Iran and its proxies, as well as of Erdogan’s Turkey and the Muslim Brotherhood. Qatar has become a tool of Iranian terrorism and Turkish interventions, and a financial tool for Turkey’s proxies in Europe. Because of its alliances with Iran and Turkey, it has now become a dangerous security risk for Arabic countries and the world in general.
Why is Qatar important to the United States? Simply because of Al Udeid Air Base, which is one of the most important US bases in the world. It is used by other US allies for military operations, such as the United Kingdom and Australia during the Gulf Wars and operations in Syria. Qatar is a tiny, rich state which pays for US lobbyists and US politicians to influence some of the policies of the US. For example: “Qatar has spent $16.3 million lobbying the U.S. in 2017, compared to $4.2 million in 2016, in an attempt to lobby about 250 people who can influence President Trump’s foreign policy.”
Qatar. Small, but dangerous.

CARLISLE, PA: HOW CAIR FORCED THE US ARMY WAR COLLEGE ONTO ITS KNEES

The author of “Sword and Scimitar” gives the inside story of an ominous surrender

BY JAMIE GLAZOV
republished below in full unedited for informational, educational and research purposes:
Frontpage Interview’s guest today is Raymond Ibrahim, a scholar of Islam, prolific writer, and author of Crucified Again: Exposing Islam’s New War on Christians (2013); and The Al Qaeda Reader (2007) He has appeared on C-SPAN, Al-Jazeera, CNN, NPR, and PBS; his writings have appeared in the New York Times Syndicate, Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, Financial Times, the Chronicle of Higher Education, and Jane’s Islamic Affairs Analyst.  A sought after speaker, Ibrahim has briefed governmental agencies, including the U.S Strategic Command, lectured at the National Intelligence University, and testified before Congress.
Introduction: On June 10, the US Army War College (USAWC) surrendered to the demands of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR)—an “unindicted co-conspirator,” to quote the U.S. Dept. of Justice, in the largest terror funding case in American history, and a designated “terrorist organization” for nations such as the UAE.
CAIR’s hysterical propaganda campaign focused on presenting Ibrahim—a native Arabic speaker of Egyptian/Middle Eastern descent—as a “racist” and “white nationalist” who, if allowed to speak before the War College, would incite American soldiers to start murdering Muslims in the street.  In response, the US Army War College capitulated and canceled Ibrahim’s long-planned lecture on his newest book, Sword and Scimitar: Fourteen Centuries of War between Islam and the West, which was scheduled for this coming Wednesday, June 19, at the War College, located in Carlisle, Barracks, PA.
Frontpage: Welcome, Raymond, to Frontpage Interview. It's an honor to have you here. Let’s get right to it. What happened?
Ibrahim: Sure, Jamie, thanks for the opportunity.  Here are the facts: On January 4, 2019, I received an email, portions of which follow:
Mr. Ibrahim: On behalf of the Director and Staff of the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center (USAHEC), I am honored to invite you to speak as part of the USAHEC’s 2019 Perspectives in Military History Lecture Series.  …   [W]e would like you to speak about your new book, “Sword and Scimitar.”  The Perspectives series attracts a wide audience including the U.S. Army War College students, faculty, and staff, ROTC cadets, Soldiers from regional military bases, university students and faculty, and the general public.
“On a personal note,” the author of the email added, “I think your new book, and a lecture based on it, will resound very well with the primary audience of our lecture programs—the students and faculty of the U.S. Army War College.”
After I accepted the invitation, my USAWC contact reiterated: “I am excited to book you, I think your topic will be perfect for my audience.”
Aside from a few more exchanges on dates and logistics, that was that -- until CAIR got wind of the event.
[Graphic on Left: A promotional image of Ibrahim’s now canceled lecture at the War College that circulated on social media in recent weeks.]
FP: And so what did CAIR do?
Ibrahim: CAIR initially tried to take the “professional” route.  On May 28, CAIR’s PA leadership—namely Jacob Bender, Timothy Welbeck, Ahmet Selim Tekelioglu —sent a letter to USAWC Commandant Gen. John Kem and Provost Dr. James Breckenridge urging them to revoke “the decision of the US Army War College to invite Mr. Raymond Ibrahim to deliver the prestigious 50th Annual Lecture Series of the US Army War College.”
The reason cited by CAIR to disinvite me is that “Raymond Ibrahim’s book …  advance[s] a simplistic, inaccurate and often prejudicial view of the long history of Muslim-West relations which we find deeply troubling.”  (A Task Force report titled, “Army War College under fire over historian’s upcoming lecture on ‘clash of civilizations’ between Islam and the West,” has the complete CAIR letter.)
Interestingly, and although my book is 352 pages, covering nearly fourteen centuries, not once did CAIR highlight a certain passage or excerpt in its letter to the USAWC to support its accusation that the book “is based on poor research.”
After media outlets began reporting on CAIR’s letter to the USAWC, the latter called and assured me that the event was still on.  I also received a June 5, 2019 email from my USAWC contact saying, “We are good to go for the lecture.”
FP: Well that was promising, so what made them eventually cave in?
Ibrahim: Having seen that a formal, ostensibly rational sounding letter of “concern” would not suffice, CAIR and its allies decided that mass hysteria would have to do.  On June 6, 2019, CAIR issued a number of screeds, including a Press Release and a petition addressed to the USAWC by Linda Sarsour’s Islamist group, MPower Change.  The overall theme is that, if the USAWC goes ahead with my planned lecture, the “racist” military will get so riled that American soldiers will randomly begin to massacre Muslims at home and abroad.  The following excerpts from the MPower petition are typical; note especially the last paragraph (bold and underlining in the original):
The U.S. Army War College invited Raymond Ibrahim—a well-known Islamophobe and disseminator of inaccurate, ahistorical, anti-Muslim rhetoric—to speak at their upcoming 50th Annual Lecture Series on June 19th.
In a time of rising white nationalism, Islamophobia, and horrific violence stemming from these ideologies, the College is endorsing and fostering anti-Muslim hate within the military by inviting Ibrahim….
Ibrahim’s rhetoric … normalizes and justifies violence against Muslims, which is already a burgeoning problem for the military…..  Let’s tell the U.S. Army War College: If you don’t rescind Ibrahim’s invitation and denounce his Islamophobic rhetoric, you’re not only endorsing anti-Muslim hate, but dangerously nurturing Islamophobia and white nationalism within the military.
Just a few days ago, California Rep. Duncan Hunter—who ran an explicitly Islamophobic campaign for Congress—casually admitted that he and his unit “killed probably hundreds of civilians…probably killed women and children in Iraq.”
Tell the U.S. Army War College: Ibrahim’s lecture would push the same kind of incendiary, Islamophobic rhetoric that has led to violence inflicted on Muslim communities—both in the U.S. and abroad.
In the midst of their lies, CAIR and MPower repeatedly present me -- an Arab-American whose parents immigrated from Egypt to evade Islamic oppression -- as a “racist” associated with “white nationalism.”
Also like the original CAIR letter of May 28, the MPower petition repeatedly asserts that “his recent book, Sword and Scimitar: Fourteen Centuries of War between Islam and the West, advances an Orientalist and inaccurate view of Islam,” without once showing how; it merely claims that “His simplistic and flawed version of history -- riddled with prejudiced stereotypes of Islam -- espouses a dangerous agenda that demonizes Muslims.”
FP: That is rather telling.  Considering how long your book is, couldn’t they find a single sentence to present -- by distorting it -- as “fake history”?
Ibrahim: Apparently not.  Here’s the thing: although long suppressed by the Left, the history I present in Sword and Scimitar is ironclad, verifiable, and beyond well documented; with about a thousand endnotes, it is heavily based on primary -- especially Muslim -- sources, including material I translated.
It’s also important to stress that, whereas none of the CAIR activists petitioning the War College have any credentials in the discipline of history, here is what actual and highly regarded historians and scholars in the fields of Muslim-Western history say concerning the book (many more can be read here):
  • “Raymond Ibrahim’s Sword and Scimitar is … first-rate military history and a product of solid scholarship and philological research.”― Victor Davis Hanson, America’s leading military historian and senior fellow at the Hoover Institution
  • “[Sword and Scimitar is] a refreshingly honest account of Islamic expansion and Christian reaction that provides useful insights into today’s problems. This is history as it should be done: allowing the past to inform and guide the present, rather than distorting the past to fit contemporary political ideologies (emphasis added).”―Paul F. Crawford, Professor of Crusades history, California University of Pennsylvania
  • “Ibrahim tells his story with extensive citations of primary sources … Moreover, his method reveals the religious, political, and material motivations of the leading Christian and Muslim actors in this enduring conflict of visions that seem so very different from many modern western secular sensibilities.”―James E. Lindsay, Professor of Middle East History, Colorado State University
  • “An accessible and well-researched examination of extremely important but often neglected cultural phenomena and historical events that have impacted several civilizations up to the present day.”―Darío Fernández-Morera, Professor of Spanish History, Northwestern University, and author of The Myth of the Andalusian Paradise
  • “[An] eye-opening introduction to a millennium of warfare between the Muslim and Christian worlds before the modern age.”―Thomas Madden, Professor of Crusades history, and award-winning author of Istanbul, Venice, and Concise History of the Crusades
FP: Raymond, why do you think CAIR has created such a hysterical smear campaign over a military history book, most of which deals with events that took place hundreds of years ago? They usually go after people who discuss Islamist machinations in current events, right?
Ibrahim: This is important to narrow in on, thanks Jamie.
I actually give CAIR credit in the perspicacity department: unlike many in the West, they know how important it is to control the historical narrative between Islam and the West -- a narrative which for decades has largely been in the keeping of their allies, that is, anti-Western, pro-Islamic leftist academics. Because this pseudohistory has long presented Islam as a peaceful and progressive force throughout history—certainly in comparison to the West -- all talk concerning modern day Islamic terror and extremism has invariably revolved around questions such as “What went wrong?” and “Why do they hate us?”
These supposedly all important questions that dominated public discourse after September 11, 2001 are fundamentally rooted to history.  Think of it this way: If the Islamic world was a tolerant and advanced force for centuries, as generations of Americans have been led to believe, then surely its modern day descent into radicalism and terrorism must be based on other factors—hence the nonstop claims that economics, education, politics, grievances, “lack of jobs” to quote the Obama White House, etc., are the real reason.
Such logic is admittedly sound -- but only if one subscribes to its first premise, that Islamic history is largely peaceful and tolerant.
But for those who become acquainted with Islam’s true history vis-à-vis the West as recounted in the book—a millennium-long history of virtually nonstop jihad and mindboggling atrocities that make ISIS appear tame -- there is no “what went wrong?” or “why do they hate us?” to explain, only an unwavering, continuous line of violence and enmity -- one that was always, whether in its Arab, Berber, Tatar, or Turkish manifestations, articulated as jihad -- and one that went on hiatus during the colonial era but is now back in full force.
Hence CAIR’S unprecedented attack -- one described by neutral reporters as “the first time that a speaker at a U.S. military educational institution has been subject to such a campaign.” The “unindicted co-conspirator” of Hamas-related terrorism knows that the first and long unquestioned -- but ultimately false -- premise of all Muslim apologias is historical in nature, and is doing all it can to keep it safe from attack.
FP: Makes sense, thanks Raymond. Let’s get back to the War College. How did it respond to this second round of CAIR-induced hysteria dedicated to smearing you as a “racist” and “Islamophobe"?
Ibrahim: Spineless capitulation: on June 10, the USAWC caved in to the Islamists’ demands and canceled the event.  In my last phone call with the USAWC on that same day, I suggested a compromise: turn my lecture into a debate, and pit me against any academic of CAIR’s choosing.  Even though I was under no obligation to make such a concession, it still wasn’t good enough for the USAWC.
Perhaps the most dishonorable aspect of this entire fiasco is that, in a vain effort to save face and pretend that the prestigious United States Army War College is not surrendering to the demands of a notorious Islamist organization—whose subversive tactics and terroristic ties are well documented (hereherehere, and here, for example) -- the USAWC’s official story is that my lecture has only been “postponed,” and not because of CAIR’s demands.
As a June 10, 2019 report notes, the USAWC’s decision to “postpone” the event “comes  in the wake of strong opposition from the Muslim community to the previously scheduled appearance of author Raymond Ibrahim.  The Army War College on Monday, however, suggested that the postponement had nothing to do with the outcry from the Muslim community” (emphasis added).
Reality is clear enough: for the USAWC suddenly to postpone a long-planned event only nine days before schedule -- and just a few days after CAIR’s smear campaign -- is not a “coincidence”; it is a clear message for all.
FP: Just so absolutely pathetic.
If the War College is giving in to absurd allegations and fear mongering, is there any American institution that won’t buckle?
Ibrahim: That’s exactly it, Jamie—the most disturbing aspect of this entire incident.  If an ethnic Egyptian and native speaker of Arabic, with verifiable credentials, whose extended relatives continue to be persecuted because they are Christian, can be characterized by Islamist groups with terror links as a “racist” and “white nationalist”; and if, of all places, the US Army War College, as opposed to the average “liberal” college, can so easily capitulate to such patently deceptive tactics—the true motives of which are to keep the actual and troubling history between Islam and the West concealed from the military -- the hour is very late indeed.
FP: I am so sorry about this Raymond -- both for you and for every one of us who cherishes freedom and freedom of speech.  This is a very ominous and frightening development. Is there anything else we should know about?
Ibrahim: Yes, this incident is not over.  Several concerned military and congress men and media have contacted me, and I’ll be in Washington DC this week to meet with them.
If true, here’s another disturbing development: the latest information I’m getting from people who say they live in the Harrisburg region is that, after CAIR’s hysterical campaign, there was a “disturbing tension” in the air among the Muslim community of Harrisburg, a “palpable fear” which some are saying contributed to the USAWC’s decision to appease local Muslims.   For the record, I cannot independently verify any of this -- have never even been to Harrisburg -- but am just relaying what some anonymous (and apparently scared) locals are conveying to me.
It is interesting to note, however, that in support of these claims, in their May 28 letter to the USAWC, CAIR leaders Jacob Bender, Timothy Welbeck, and Ahmet Selim Tekelioglu, made the following assertions, which in retrospect seem to take on a more ominous meaning:
Indeed, as word of Mr. Ibrahim’s upcoming lecture has spread, we have been contacted by Muslims and interfaith allies from all over Pennsylvania, and especially from the Harrisburg area which houses over a dozen mosques, who called us to express their shock that such a prestigious institution as the US Army War College would invite, and thereby confer legitimacy on, an individual who spreads falsehoods about their faith, the faith of 1.6 billion human beings, and the fastest growing religion in the United States and the world. (emphasis added)
In light of what I’m now being told, this reads like a veiled threat.
FP: Scary times. Raymond, thank you for giving joining us today and for giving us the full scoop. Thank you for all that you do -- and we wish you much strength in your endeavors.
Ibrahim: Thank you, Jamie, including for the opportunity to share.

AN EPIDEMIC OF JEW HATRED ON CAMPUS: THE TOP TEN NEO-NAZI INCIDENTS

AN EPIDEMIC OF JEW HATRED ON CAMPUS:
THE TOP TEN NEO-NAZI INCIDENTS

Atrocities at Columbia, UCLA, U. Nevada-Reno and Stanford all made the list

BY SARA DOGAN
republished below in full unedited for informational, educational and research purposes:
Editor’s note: The following report documents horrifying instances of anti-Semitism on ten prestigious American campuses and exposes the pivotal role that the Hamas-funded Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement against Israel plays in provoking these hate crimes. In a stealth campaign conducted on Monday, 1000 copies of a printed newspaper containing this report were distributed to public locations on the UCLA campus, one of the schools named in the report. The newspapers also contained a poster highlighting the links between the BDS movement and Adolf Hitler’s “final solution.”
A fast and rapidly growing epidemic of global anti-Semitism is now threatening Jews worldwide. Many discount incidents of Jew hatred and neo-Nazi rhetoric as the actions of a fringe minority, or mistakenly believe it is a problem endemic to conservatism, rather than a facet of the radical Left.  The blatantly anti-Semitic statements of recently elected congresswomen Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib and the leaders of the Women’s March—and the Democratic Party’s failure to strongly disclaim them—prove that Jew Hatred has become part of mainstream Leftist dogma.
Our nation’s campuses, dens of radical politics that they are, have long been a precursor to this wider epidemic. Now that Jew Hatred has become mainstream, neo-Nazi incidents on campus have only grown in their violence and magnitude, as the campus adherents of Adolf Hitler become increasingly emboldened by their success at infusing Jew hatred into the national conversation.
The Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement against Israel is a key feature of the plot to destroy the Jewish state. Funded and promoted on American campuses by the anti-Israel terror groups Hamas and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), the BDS movement has infiltrated our universities, funneling money to campus chapters of Students for Justice in Palestine through an intermediary organization, American Muslims for Palestine (AMP). Israel’s Minister of Strategic Affairs and Public Diplomacy Gilad Erdan recently declared, “The relationship between terrorist organizations and the BDS movement has never been closer, ideologically or operationally.”
The goals and means of the BDS movement show a direct parallel to the rhetoric and methods employed by Nazi leader Adolf Hitler. Where Hitler denounced the Jews with slurs, and segregated them into ghettos before employing his “final solution,” the BDS movement similarly slanders the Jewish nation—the only liberal democracy in the Middle East—as an “apartheid state” which illegally “occupies” Palestinian land.  Hitler used similar rhetoric to excise Jewish citizens of Germany from the larger community, claiming they were robbing Germany of the wealth that properly belonged to the Aryan race, and then codifying these principles in the Nuremberg Laws and other ordinances, encouraging Germans to boycott Jewish businesses, and forbidding Jews to intermarry with German citizens, or participate in virtually all forms of public life.
Just as Hitler’s reforms aimed to marginalize Germany’s Jews, the BDS movement seeks to isolate and delegitimize Israel, cut it off from the world community, and bankrupt its resources in the hopes of ultimately destroying it. The BDS campaign against Israel is a true and deserving successor to Hitler’s Nazi party. Yet university presidents and administrations have done little to check the rampant resurgence of this Nazi ideology on campus. And that failure has had grave consequences for Jewish students on American campuses who face the impossible choice of choosing to conceal their faith and their heritage or knowing they may become a target because of it.
It is no coincidence that five out of the ten universities featured in this report--UCLA, Tufts, Stanford, Columbia and the University of Michigan--have welcomed the Students for Justice in Palestine National Conference to their campuses. The remaining five campuses each boast active chapters of Students for Justice in Palestine, the Muslim Students Association—a campus group linked to the Nazi-supporting Muslim Brotherhood network—or similarly-minded groups.
The ten incidents that follow—occurring over the past two years—represent only a small sampling of the egregious Jew hatred and lust for the return of the Nazi regime that now infects America’s college campuses.
Columbia University: Holocaust Scholar’s Office Defaced by Swastikas
Jewish professor and Holocaust scholar Elizabeth Midlarsky entered her office at Teacher’s College of Columbia University on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, to find two gigantic red swastikas scrawled on the walls and the anti-Semitic slur “YID” painted adjacent to them.   “I was in shock,” Midlarsky told the Columbia Daily Spectator. “I stopped for a moment, because I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.”
“I opened the outer door and almost passed out,” she described to CNN. “I was so shaky, I wasn't sure I was going to make it.”
Nor was this the first time Midlarsky’s office had been vandalized. In 2007, a swastika was painted on her office door and anti-Semitic flyers were found in her campus mailbox. As both a Jew and a scholar of the Holocaust, an event Jew haters are eager to minimize or deny outright, she apparently makes for a tantalizing target.
According to the Columbia Daily Spectator, Midlarsky “attributed this second incident to a broader national rise in anti-Semitic crimes and a changing culture.”
Teacher’s College President Thomas Bailey issued a statement saying:
“We unequivocally condemn any expression of hatred, which has no place in our society. We are outraged and horrified by this act of aggression and use of this vile anti-Semitic symbol against a valued member of our community. Please rest assured that we are working with police to discover the perpetrator of this hateful act.”
Columbia University, despite its location in New York City, home to a significant proportion of the nation’s Jewish population, has a longstanding reputation for tolerating anti-Semitism on campus. The university has frequently made the David Horowitz Freedom Center’s annual list of the “Top Ten Universities Most Friendly to Terrorists,” and hosted the Students for Justice in Palestine annual conference in 2011. After the Fall 2018 mass-shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Columbia administrators initially released a statement that made no explicit mention of “Jews” or “anti-Semitism”—a lapse widely derided by alumni and others. Despite the university’s statements promising to pursue the perpetrator of this horrific act of Jew hatred, it appears that no one has yet been arrested for the crime.
Duke University: Memorial to Pittsburgh Synagogue Victims Defaced with Swastika At Duke University, a lovingly painted mural dedicated to the Jewish victims of the Tree of Life Synagogue mass-shooting in Pittsburgh presented too tempting a target to Jew-haters on the North Carolina campus.
The mural was painted in a “Free Expression” tunnel on campus where students are encouraged to express their opinions through writing and artwork. It contained a gold Star of David and the names of the 11 victims of the Pittsburgh attack alongside the epitaph, “We must build this world from love,” transcribed in both English and Hebrew.
Yet on Sunday, November 18, a large red swastika was discovered on the mural, painted over the Star of David. According to the Duke Chronicle, there had been something of an epidemic of swastikas on campus in recent months. The one desecrating the mural was the third to be discovered. Another was found on a bathroom door and the third was carved into a pumpkin on Halloween.
In a statement, Duke President Vincent Price called the painting of the swastika “a craven and cowardly act of vandalism – a desecration of a memorial to individuals who were killed because they were Jewish and practicing their faith” and added “That it should occur in such a visible, public location at Duke should be a matter of grave concern to us all.”
Duke University is home to a highly active chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine which hosts an annual “Israeli Apartheid Week” on campus featuring anti-Semitic slogans. These include, “To exist is to resist” and “From the river to the BC, Palestine will be free,” (the BC is a plaza on Duke’s campus) a take on the slogan “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” a call to destroy the totality of Israel as a Jewish state. Together with the Muslim Students Association, Duke SJP hosted notorious anti-Semite Linda Sarsour on April 15.
Penn State: Menorah Belonging to Jewish Fraternity Vandalized and Repeatedly Stolen
In two separate incidents in late November and early December of 2018, a nine-foot-tall menorah belonging to the Jewish fraternity Zeta Beta Tau at Penn State University was first vandalized and stolen, briefly returned, and then stolen again, before finally being recovered in a nearby park. A fraternity member who attempted to thwart one of these attempts at theft was assaulted.
The menorah had been purchased by the fraternity earlier that year to commemorate the victims of the Tree of Life Synagogue mass-shooting in Pittsburg. When it was returned after the first theft, two of its nine electronic branches were damaged.
“Due to recent events, that’s why we got the menorah... to show strength and unity with the Jewish community,” Penn State Zeta Beta Tau president Adam Schwartz told a local television station. “We just want to show that hate won’t stop us.”
Nor was this the only episode of menorah-snatching on the campus. The previous year, a twelve-foot-tall menorah was stolen from outside the house of Penn State Rabbi Hershy Gourarie and then was left in a damaged condition in front of the house of another Jewish fraternity, Sigma Alpha Mu. Individuals were eventually arrested and charged in each incident of menorah-theft.
Penn State is home to a Students for Justice in Palestine chapter that has held multiple events supporting the BDS movement against Israel and demonizing the Jewish State. The campus is also home to a chapter of the Muslim Brotherhood-linked Muslim Students Association.
University of California-Santa Cruz: Blocking the Hillel Table and Shouting Anti-Semitic Profanities
In May 2017, an event held at UC-Santa Cruz to celebrate Israeli Independence Day was violently disrupted by the African/Black Student Alliance (ABSA). ABSA deliberately blocked access to the Hillel table for more than an hour while protestors repeatedly hurled anti-Semitic and profane insults at the assembled Jewish students.
The event was billed as “Israel Palooza” and was meant to be a peaceful celebration of Israeli life and culture including music, dancing, and food. But ABSA swarmed the pro-Israel festival, cordoning off the Hillel table with protestors so that interested students could not reach it and on three separate occasions chanting, “Free Palestine” and “F—k Jewish Slugs.”  An Israeli flag brought to the event by Hillel was also torn down by the protestors.
statement released by Hillel declared courageously, “Our students feel disappointed that they were not able to celebrate Israel fully on her birthday but we will not be deterred… At Santa Cruz Hillel, Israel will always be at the core of our mission.”
In an open letter to the Santa Cruz Sentinel, a coalition of Jewish community leaders and UC-Santa Cruz students and alumni expressed their outrage that the University administration had neither provided sufficient security for the event, nor acknowledged the outrageous mistreatment of Jewish students on the campus:
“Despite the fact that the previous week Hillel Director Sarah Cohen Domont had informed UCSC administrators of the impending A/BSA protest and asked for assistance in ensuring that the Hillel event would not be disrupted, only one member of the university staff, Associate Vice Chancellor Jean Marie Scott, was present during the protest. No security was there to prevent the disruption or was called once it began,” states the letter.
It continues, “Even worse, it has been more than two weeks since these events took place, and your office has yet to say a single word even acknowledging, let alone condemning, this blatant suppression of Jewish and pro-Israel students’ freedom of expression and assembly. Nor have the students who perpetrated these acts been subject to disciplinary actions or held accountable for their reprehensible behavior. This is an outrage.”
University of California-Los Angeles: Vicious Disruption of Pro-Israel Event On May 17, 2018, an event held at UCLA by the campus chapter of Students Supporting Israel was viciously disrupted by the campus chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine.
The panel was titled, "Indigenous Peoples Unite” and featured speakers from several different nations. While one of the panelists was speaking about surviving genocide in Armenia, a protestor walked over and tore the Armenian flag off the wall and threw the speaker’s notes on the floor, while screaming directly in his face. SJP protestors used horns and whistles to create a chaos of noise and chanted slogans including "We don't want 2 states, we want '48," a genocidal statement to abolish Israel and return to a time before it existed. Other slogans shouted by the protestors included, "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free," "No peace on stolen land, justice is our demand" "Protesting is not a crime, free free free Palestine," and "Israel is a terrorist state!” Due to SJP’s protest, the event was forced to halt for over 15 minutes until calm could be regained.
UCLA administrators denounced the protest about a week later but claimed that they could not take action against the protestors because a police report had not been filed by SSI. After this announcement, over a dozen pro-Israel students filed complaints with the university police department.
Despite the horrific actions of SJP on campus in this incident and others, the UCLA administration nevertheless permitted SJP National to hold its infamous annual conference on the UCLA campus the following semester in November 2018. SJP National conferences are known to feature speakers who promote terrorist violence against Israel and the Hamas-funded BDS movement and instruct students in how to disrupt pro-Israel speakers and events on campus. The announcement for the 2018 conference at UCLA even bragged about this disruption of pro-Israel events, stating "Other instances of our perseverance include disruptions of pro-war, Zionist, and racist guest speakers." It also demonized Israel by claiming that “Zionism is ethnic cleansing, destruction, mass expulsion, apartheid, and death.”
Stanford University—Resident Advisor Threatens Jews on Social Media Students who are appointed as Resident Advisors are charged with keeping peace and order in campus dorms. It is a position of privilege and authority. But at Stanford University, the screening process appears to be lacking. Student Hamzeh Daoud was appointed a Resident Advisor in the summer of 2018 despite his numerous social media posts bashing Israel and threatening violence against Jews which were made public after his appointment was announced.
“I’m gonna physically fight Zionists on campus next year if someone comes at me with their ‘Israel is a democracy’ bullshit. And after I abolish your ass I’ll go ahead and work every day for the rest of my life to abolish your petty ass ethno-supremacist, settler-colonial state,” the Stanford student shared on social media.
One of his posts on Twitter states: "fuck your liberal Zionist ass. fuck your jewish state. and fuck the notion that makes you believe that the resoliance and beauty that embodies Judaism, jewish people, and the jewish religion is Israel. Israel is a state that needs to be dismantled. Any other opinion is complicity [sic]."
Another tweet explains, "For those who don't speak Arabic; this translate to God curse Israel. God Curse the shit out of Israel :)! [sic]."
Daoud is a member of the Stanford chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), an organization that is financially linked to the terror group Hamas and which uses Hamas funds to disparage and delegitimize Israel.
Once Daoud’s anti-Semitic posts became public, the Stanford College Republicans called on the University to fire him from his position as Resident Advisor arguing that “Threatening to assault other students who hold a different point of view is anathema to a free society and any kind of education, let alone the operation of the premier research university in the world.”
“While we are disturbed by Hamzeh Daoud’s statements, we find it unsurprising that a member of SJP, an organization with financial ties to terrorist affiliates, would issue a call to violence against pro-Israel students,” the Stanford College Republicans wrote.
Meanwhile, after being publicly outed as a potentially violent anti-Semite, Daoud attempted to walk back his virulent social media posts, editing the one promising to “physically fight Zionists” to read “intellectually fight Zionists.”  He also issued a statement of apology which reads, “I respect the Jewish community, the beauty and resilience of the Jewish religion and people, and the power that Jewish students bring to campus.” The supposed apology makes an interesting contrast to his previous tweet in which he used almost the same language to state precisely the opposite: “fuck the notion that makes you believe that the resoliance [sic] and beauty that embodies Judaism.”
Jewish Voice for Peace at Stanford, an organization that supports the anti-Semitic boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) movement against the Jewish state, conducted an email campaign supporting Daoud and attempting to turn the blame back on the Stanford College Republicans, claiming that the conservative organization “intentionally misinterpreted [Daoud’s] post” and “triggered a right-wing and alt-right backlash against Daoud.”
A legal team also entered the fray, sending a letter to Stanford President Marc Tessier-Levigne on behalf of a Jewish student who preferred to remain anonymous, expressing the student’s concern that Daoud’s Jew-hatred makes him unfit to serve in a position of authority over other students.
“Daoud's public statements—including statements he has made that were public, but that he has recently hidden by deleting certain of his social media accounts—make clear that he is not capable of performing the duties of a Resident Assistant,” the letter states.
"Worse, if Stanford were to retain a person of Daoud's temperament in that position after being made aware of his statements, Stanford will have clearly discriminated against Zionist students on campus, in violation of federal law and its own formal policies," the letter continues.
Stanford pledged to investigate Daoud’s posts but this process was cut short when the SJP member elected to voluntarily resign from his resident advisor post. In a statement Daoud acknowledged “the language in my first post had a strong negative effect on many in our Stanford community.”  While he may have apologized for the language he used, it seems likely that his actual opinions have not changed. And it remains far from clear whether Stanford—which hosted the SJP National Conference in 2013—is truly up for the task of tackling Jew hatred on campus.
University of Minnesota: Academic Department Supports Hamas-Funded BDS Movement
On March 2, 2018, the Department of Gender, Women and Sexuality Studies at the University of Minnesota held an event dedicated to Hamas propaganda titled “BDS, Racial Justice, & Pinkwashing in the Trump Era.” The forum capped off “Divest Week” at the University, a week organized by Students for Justice in Palestine and supported by other campus organizations to promote the anti-Semitic, Hamas-funded Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement against Israel and to garner votes in a campus-wide referendum on the topic (the BDS resolution passed by a narrow margin).
The event description which was posted on the department’s Facebook page demonized Israel by accusing it of “daily human rights abuses” and made clear that attendees are expected to learn how to “work in solidarity with the global BDS movement.”  The topic of the event, ‘pinkwashing,’ is a term used by Israel’s enemies to accuse Israel of using its support for gay rights as a shield to cover for other alleged abuses.
Further down on the official event page, a section of text titled “What is BDS” again demonizes and delegitimizes Israel. It states falsely that “Israel is occupying and colonizing Palestinian land, discriminating against Palestinian citizens of Israel and denying Palestinian refugees the right to return to their homes.” It again promotes the BDS movement, stating, “BDS is having a major impact and is effectively challenging international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.”
A large image of a pink banner with the words “No to Pinkwashing. No to Israeli Apartheid” accompanies this text.
The Amcha Initiative, an organization dedicated to tracking anti-Semitism on campus, revealed that “The official GWSS department Facebook page additionally promoted the event by posting a demonizing image to the event page's wall about Pinkwashing that also contained the image of a poster saying ‘Israel Out of Palestine’ as well as an image saying, ‘No Pride in Zionism, Israeli Apartheid, Occupation. Justice for Palestine.’”
This rampant support for the anti-Semitic and genocidal BDS movement on the part of an official university academic department is a flagrant violation of the proper role of an academic institution and reveals the depths of Jew hatred on the University of Minnesota campus.  University of Nevada-Reno: Campus Dorm Defaced with Swastika, Plea to “Kill all Jews” A message threatening the lives of Jews was found on the wall of a campus residence hall at the University of Nevada-Reno in March, 2019. The highly disturbing message contained a swastika and the threats “Kill all Jews” and “Watch Out Communist Bombing on March 6, 2019, and March 7, 2019.”
Former student Matthew Levin who lived in the University residence hall called the threat “Unacceptable.”
“This was found at Juniper Hall on the campus I called home (and in a way still call home) for 5 years,” he explained. “Never in my life did I think that this was going to happen on our campus that has always been so supportive of all students. The students, faculty, alumni, and community deserve better than this. The Wolf Pack should not and will not stand for this.”
An email signed by several university administrators promised an investigation and further action: “This symbol and the threatening remarks that accompanied it are unacceptable and wrong,” it stated. “We strongly condemn any symbols and actions that represent hate, intimidation or terror. We stand with members of our Jewish community and all people who find such hateful symbols and abhorrent threats to be offensive, and we will work with a number of groups to ensure that our campus remains safe and welcoming.”
The death threat scrawled on Juniper Hall was not the first incidence of Jew hatred expressed in a campus residence. Earlier that same academic year, on October 27, 2018, the very same date on which a gunman massacred individuals at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh—a swastika was found carved into the dorm room door of two Jewish roommates. The Jewish students had recently hung a mezuzah (a small box containing a Jewish prayer) on their door frame.
Still more swastikas were found painted on a creative expression wall within the campus arts building in October 2017.  Despite rhetoric promising to stamp out anti-Semitism on campus, administrators at UNR clearly have an uphill battle ahead.
Tufts: Hillel Center Targeted with Anti-Semitic Posters Featuring Militarized Pigs
On February 12, 2019, the Granhoff Family Hillel Center at Tufts University was papered with several dozen flyers featuring garish cartoons of pigs in military uniforms. Just in case the intent of the vandalism was unclear, some of the flyers were captioned with anti-Semitic text reading “DESTROY ISRAELI APARTHEID FORCES AND AMERIKKKAN [sic] PIGS WHICH FUND IT.” Another flyer featured the image of a pig wearing a uniform patterned in stars and stripes and captioned “U.S. Imperialism.” In the cartoon, the pig is shoved back against a spiked wall by guns labeled “Get out of the ghetto,” “Get out of Latin America,” “Get out of Africa,” and “Get out of Asia.”
The flyers were discovered by Hillel’s executive director and the Tufts’ Jewish chaplain, Rabbi Naftali Brawer.  He contacted campus police and immediately removed the flyers from the building with the assistance of Hillel staff. “We were clearly targeted as a Jewish center,” Brawer said. The Hillel Center appears to be the sole target of the vandals—the flyers were not hung anywhere else on campus.
One particularly unsettling aspect of the incident is that a number of the flyers were placed so that the printed portion faced inside through the Hillel Center’s windows, as if to communicate their hatred directly to those within the facility.
The defacement of Tufts Hillel notably occurred only days after radical freshman congresswoman, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn) tweeted that Congressional support for Israel is “all about the Benjamins”—a remark that led to widespread outrage and discussions about the growing acceptability of anti-Semitism on the Left.
In an interview with The Tufts Daily, Rabbi Brawer addressed the impact that the flyers had on Jewish students at Tufts: “It’s been a really unsettling experience for everyone here at Hillel. It shows us that bigotry and hatred are sadly alive and well, even on a university campus.”
Tufts University President Anthony Monaco did not immediately label the posters anti-Semitic—he later claimed to be unaware of the caption referencing Israel—but he did send out a campuswide email calling them “profoundly disturbing and hurtful to those targeted and to others in our community.”
Tufts has been featured on several of the David Horowitz Freedom Center’s past lists of the Top Ten Universities Who Support Terror. While under President Monaco’s leadership, Tufts University hosted the SJP National Conference in 2014, an infamous event which bars media and outsiders and features supporters of anti-Israel terrorism as speakers.
University of Michigan: Two Faculty Members Refuse to Write Letters of Recommendation for Students to Study in Israel
In the Fall of 2018, not one but two instructors at the University of Michigan, one of the premier public universities in the nation, refused to write letters of recommendation for students planning to study abroad in Israel in deference to an academic boycott of Israeli universities which is part of the genocidal BDS movement.
One of those refusing the request was graduate student and teaching assistant Lucy Peterson.  When student Jake Seckler asked her for a recommendation to study abroad, she declared that she would be “delighted.” But upon learning that he was planning to enroll at Tel Aviv University, Peterson had an abrupt change of heart. “I’m so sorry that I didn’t ask before agreeing to write your recommendation letter, but I regrettably will not be able to write on your behalf. Along with numerous other academics in the U.S. and elsewhere, I have pledged myself to a boycott of Israeli institutions as a way of showing solidarity with Palestine,” she explained.
The previous month, another Michigan instructor, this one an associate professor of American Culture, John Cheney-Lippold, also rejected a student’s request for a letter supporting his application to study abroad in Israel, again citing his support for the academic boycott against Israel. Screenshots of Cheney-Lippold’s communication with the student, identified only as “Abigail,” reveal that his conflict is exclusively with the nation of Israel, not with recommending the student’s academic work. “As you may know, many university departments have pledged an academic boycott against Israel in support of Palestinians living in Palestine. This boycott includes writing letters of recommendation for students planning to study there," Cheney-Lippold wrote to Abigail. "I should have let you know earlier, and for that I apologize. But for reasons of these politics, I must rescind my offer to write your letter," he added.
"Let me know if you need me to write other letters for you, as I'd be happy.”
In a later interview with the publication Inside Higher Ed, Cheney-Lippold asserted, “I firmly stand by the decision because I stand against inequality, I stand against oppression and occupation, I stand against apartheid and I use that word very, very seriously.”  He added, “I have extraordinary political and ethical conflict lending my name to helping that student go to that place [Israel].”
The U.S. Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel is part of the anti-Semitic BDS movement, an attempt to isolate, delegitimize, and ultimately destroy the Jewish state. The BDS movement is promoted and funded on American campuses by the anti-Israel terror groups Hamas and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).
Michigan President Mark Schlissel and Provost Martin Philbert released a statement criticizing the conduct of the two faculty members without mentioning names or details. “Withholding letters of recommendation based on personal views does not meet our university’s expectations for supporting the academic aspirations of our students,” the statement read. “Conduct that violates this expectation and harms students will not be tolerated and will be addressed with serious consequences. Such actions interfere with our students’ opportunities, violate their academic freedom and betray our university’s educational mission.”
According to the Detroit News, Chenney-Lippold has faced disciplinary consequences for his refusal, including the denial of a merit pay raise and the postponement of an upcoming sabbatical. It is unclear if instructor Peterson has also faced consequences.
Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), released a statement calling on “the University of Michigan to adopt a formal policy ensuring students' academic pursuits are not stymied by the political views of their professors.”
“Boycotts such as these, refusing to recommend a worthy student solely because she intended to study in Israel, have a chilling effect on Jewish and pro-Israel students on campus, who may feel isolated and vulnerable when authority figures or campus groups express hostility or shun them based on their views and associations…” continued the statement. “Singling out Israel alone among all the nations of the world as worthy of boycott, according to the State Department working definition, potentially crosses the line from criticism of Israel to anti-Semitism.”
The University of Michigan is home to a highly active chapter of Students Allied for Freedom and Equality(SAFE), an SJP surrogate group which holds events supporting the BDS movement. Michigan also hosted the SJP National conference in 2012.

Dangerous Rise of Anti-Semitism all Over the World, Including the Church

BY MICHAEL SNYDER

Michael Snyder – Economic Collapse Blog April 30, 2019 Share this article:
There is no place for anti-Semitism in our society, and all of us should be deeply alarmed by how rapidly anti-Semitism is rising across North America, Europe and the Middle East.
The numbers that I am going to share with you in this article are incredibly disturbing, and many believe that anti-Semitism is now the worst that it has been since the end of World War II.
After what we witnessed during the 1930s and 1940s, you would think that the world would never want to go down that path ever again, and yet it is happening.  Millions upon millions of people deeply hate the Jewish people just because they are Jewish, and it is getting worse with each passing day.
The lastest example is the New York Times which just days after the Times published an op-ed falsely claiming Jesus was a Palestinian, placed a cartoon on their op-ed page, depicting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a dog leading a blind U.S. President Donald Trump.
Imagine if the New York Times cartoon that depicted Israel’s Prime Minister as a dog had, instead, depicted the leader of another ethnic or gender group in a similar manner? If you think that is hard to imagine that you are absolutely right. It would be inconceivable for a Times editor to have allowed the portrayal of a Muslim leader as a dog; or the leader of any other ethnic or gender group in so dehumanizing a manner.
What is it then about Jews that allowed such a degrading cartoon about one of its leaders? One would think that in light of the history of the Holocaust, which is being commemorated this week, the last group that a main stream newspaper would demonize by employing a caricature right out of the Nazi playbook, would be the Jews. But, no. Only three quarters of a century after Der Stürmer incentivized the mass murder of Jews by dehumanizing them we see a revival of such bigoted caricatures.
Threats of rising anti-semitism caught the world’s attention after the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting in October 2018, where the gunman murdered 12 people and injured 7 during Shabbat morning service.  Now another one has happened…
19-year-old John Earnest was once a quiet piano player that had a seemingly bright future in front of him, but after being infected by the vile anti-Semitism that is rapidly spreading all over the Internet, he decided that it would be a good idea to walk into a synagogue and start shooting people…
One woman was killed and three others were wounded when a man entered a synagogue during Passover services Saturday at the Chabad of Poway temple and opened fire with an AR-style assault weapon shortly before 11:30 a.m.
Poway is about 25 miles northeast of San Diego. The city’s mayor, President Donald Trump and California Gov. Gavin Newsom all called the attack a hate crime.
The suspect, 19-year-old John Earnest, was arrested and is being questioned by authorities.
60-year-old Lori Gilbert Kaye was killed when she stepped in front of the synagogue’s rabbi as he rushed to evacuate children.  She will be remembered as a hero, while John Earnest will be remembered as a hate-filled racist that said that Jewish people “deserve nothing but hell”.
All over the globe, prominent political leaders are condemning what John Earnest did.  In his statement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called it “an attack on the heart of the Jewish people”…
“I condemn the abhorrent attack on a synagogue in California; this is an attack on the heart of the Jewish people,” Netanyahu said in a statement. “We send condolences to the family of Lori Gilbert-Kaye and our best wishes for a quick recovery to the wounded. The international community must step up the struggle against anti-Semitism.”
Unfortunately, we aren’t talking about just a few isolated individuals.
A recent CNN survey that was conducted in Europe discovered that anti-Semitic attitudes are very widespread over there…
Anti-Semitic stereotypes are alive and well in Europe, while the memory of the Holocaust is starting to fade, a sweeping new survey by CNN reveals. More than a quarter of Europeans polled believe Jews have too much influence in business and finance. Nearly one in four said Jews have too much influence in conflict and wars across the world.
One in five said they have too much influence in the media and the same number believe they have too much influence in politics.
Other polls have showed the majority of British adults don’t know that 6 million Jewish people were murdered in Holocaust, or they believe the number killed to be much less than this.
The European Union’s Fundamental Rights Agency study published last year asked European Jews in 12 countries their views on anti-Semitism. Hundreds of Jews polled said they had experienced a physical, anti-Semitic attack in the past year.
According to authorities in France, the number of anti-Semitic attacks in that country rose 74 percent last year.
Of course this is not just a recent trend either.  According to the Anti-Defamation League, there was a huge increase in global anti-Semitic attacks from 2016 to 2017…
The Anti-Defamation League has identified 1,986 anti-Semitic incidents in its 2017 Audit of Anti-Semitic Incidents. That’s up from 1,267 in 2016, marking the highest single-year increase since the organization released its first audit in 1979.
Those are deeply chilling numbers.
If you are not Jewish, you may not think about anti-Semitism much.  But for those that must deal with it on a daily basis, it is a nightmare that never ends.
According to another survey of Jewish people living in Europe, 90 percent indicated that they believe that anti-Semitism is growing in the country in which they currently live.  The following comes from the Guardian…
The report found 90% of respondents felt antisemitism was growing in their country and 30% had been harassed. Over a third avoided going to Jewish events or sites because of safety fears, while the same proportion had considered emigrating. Nearly 80% no longer reported minor incidents because they thought “nothing would change”.
Even in polite mannered Canada the number of antisemitic incidents in Canada spiked in 2018, according to a new study published on Monday. The 2018 Annual Audit of Antisemitic Incidents commissioned by the League for Human Rights of B’nai Brith Canada showed 2,041 incidents of antisemitism took place last year, a 16.5 percent increase from 2017. The study also showed a 28.4-percent jump in antisemitic harassment, a 61.5-percent increase since 2015.
Here in the United States, anti-Semitism is rising rapidly as well.  In fact, there are an increasing number of “Christian churches” and “Christian ministries” that claim to be Christian but that also boldly express hatred for Israel and for the Jewish people at the same time.
Much of this hatred finds it’s roots in replacement theology which essentially teaches that the church has replaced Israel in God’s plan. Adherents of replacement theology believe the Jews are no longer God’s chosen people, and God does not have specific future plans for the nation of Israel.
If you are anti-Semitic, you are literally embracing evil itself.
And you can see it in their eyes.  You can literally see the evil in the eyes of anti-Semitic terrorists in the Middle East, in the eyes of crazed skinheads in Europe, and in the eyes of deranged extremists in the United States.
I love the Jewish people, and I am proud to stand with Israel.  We are not going to put up with anti-Semitism, and we are going to fight it wherever it is found.
Prophecy News Watch April 30, 2019
(Publisher’s comments: One of the reasons that this issue is so difficult for Christian believers to decipher between the right and wrong position to take on the Jewish issue is because of the liberal and Anti-American activities that are sponsored by organizations such as the ACLU, the ADL and the Southern Poverty Law Center. We could mention many more wicked areas of Jewish influence such as entertainment, psychology and finance. However, if one is honest you can find gentile influence in all of these areas as well, even more so in the long run. The crucifixion of Christ could have never taken place without the permission of Rome. Based on scripture the Jews do not “control the world.” According to Daniels Prophecy the thigh and Legs were of iron, which depicts Rome. The UK and America are an extension of Rome. You can’t practice law or medicine without the Latin language. We have not had a Jewish state since David and Solomon and won’t have a Jewish state until David’s greater son Jesus comes again and establishes His Kingdom in Jerusalem and rules over the entire world. I would suggest that all reread Romans Ch. 11. “Hath God cast away His people?” This speaks of His earthly people the Jews. No, He hasn’t. He said that they would return to their land in unbelief and they have, and they are going to go through great Tribulation, but they will be converted in their land, many of them before Christ comes and the rest when He comes.
Until these things are fulfilled we need to be about “our Father’s business” until he comes. He said, “Mt 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.)

In a city I cannot name, on a date I cannot specify, an anonymous woman and I embarked on a risky drive to an institution whose address I cannot disclose. “Aisha” and I had eaten, gabbed, laughed, worked and dreamed together. I had met her family. They were lovely people. They planned to kill her. She had violated their Islamic expectations. Thus our drive to a remote safe house. In the United States. In the twentieth century.
In January, 2019, after Ilhan Omar [pictured above] was sworn in as a new congresswoman, my liberal Facebook friends celebrated her and Rashida Tlaib. They made three false claims: “First refugee elected to Congress! First Palestinian! We celebrate diversity!”
No, Omar was not the first refugee elected to Congress. Jewish refugees, and refugees from Communism preceded her.
No, Tlaib was not the first Palestinian. Justin Amash, a male, Christian Republican, was. Newly sworn-in Donna Shalala, like Tlaib, is an Arab. She is a Catholic who supports Israel. None of the memes celebrating Tlaib celebrated Shalala or Amash.
The third lie is that celebrations of Omar and Tlaib were celebrations of diversity. At the same time that liberals were elevating Tlaib and Omar to meme stardom, they were maintaining complete radio silence about a story that was rocking the world. Rahaf Mohammed Alqunun is a Saudi teenager who, in early January, 2019, escaped from her family and was granted asylum in Canada. Alqunun described beatings, captivity, and the threat of death for abandoning Islam. She insisted that her case was not unique, and that women in Saudi Arabia “are treated like slaves.”
Also in January, 2019, the New York Times brought attention to Loujain al-Hathloul, who has “worked relentlessly to earn Saudi women the right to drive.” For her efforts, al-Hathloul has been tortured, water-boarded, and threatened with, and possibly, raped.
Narges Mohammadi and Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe are imprisoned in Iran for their human rights activism. In January, Mohammadi and Zaghari-Ratcliffe began a hunger strike. Iranian women activists like Masih Alinejad may be close to ending compulsory hijab. They’ve been protesting for decades. My liberal friends have never, as far as I know, mentioned any of these women.
If we pull the focus back and look at Arab and Muslim-born-and-raised women liberals don’t celebrate, we find Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Nonie Darwish, Wafa Sultan, Anni Cyrus, Sarah Haider, and Rifqa Bary. Islam’s defenders have not only not celebrated these women, some have made death threats against them, and liberal allies have prevented them from speaking publicly (see here and here). Hirsi Ali’s enemies prostitute otherwise honorable liberal causes to smear her and to guarantee that she will continue to require round-the-clock armed guards for the rest of her life. They accuse Hirsi Ali of being part of “patriarchy, misogyny, and white supremacy” guilty of “wars, invasion, and genocide” and associating with “white nationalists and far-right politicians” and “colonizers.” Finally, she is “not progressive.” Liberals have participated in the smearing of the Muslim-born-and-raised women mentioned above, and helped to ensure that these women and their allies, on university campuses and in much media, are non-persons. This is not diversity. It is totalitarian uniformity maintained by the threat of violence. Celebration of Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib was no celebration of diversity. It was a selective celebration of two women who align with anti-American, anti-Jewish rhetoric.
Ilhan Omar demanded that US law be changed so that she could wear hijab in Congress. Nancy Pelosi proposed the demanded rule change, in order to “ensure religious expression.” Liberals celebrated, the very same liberals who denounced Mitt Romney as a misogynist because, when asked how he would find female candidates for his cabinet, he replied, awkwardly but innocently, that he had “binders full of women.” I asked my liberal friends why they celebrated Congress’s first hijab. I received no answers. I thought of Aisha. I wondered if they know the following.
1.) Hateful stereotypes are deployed to prevent discussion of hijab.
It’s hard to talk about hijab. Stereotypes get in the way. Not stereotypes of Muslims. Stereotypes of non-Muslims. “You bigoted, racist, intolerant Americans are not allowed to talk about hjiab because you are all Islamophobes who want to harm me.”
Above a July 1, 2018 Vice article alleging that non-Muslims are violent thugs frothing at the mouth to destroy innocent Muslim lives, Vice ran an image of a sweet and lovely hijabi surrounded by evil, Islamophobic assailants. Nasty Americans and Brits ram their grocery carts into pregnant Muslim women’s bellies; they push hijabis in front of oncoming trains.
All decent people condemn real hate crimes. At the same time, one must be mindful of faked hate crimes. See hereherehereherehere, and here. These crimes were faked to silence any discussion of gender apartheid. One can condemn hate crimes against Muslims and at the same time condemn crimes committed against Muslim women in the name of Islam.
Masih Alinejad, Rahaf Mohammed Alqunun, my friend Aisha, and the unknown others like her with no access to safe houses: we speak not for these Muslim women, but with them, Muslim women whom too many choose to erase in the name of political correctness.
2.) Honest discussion of hijab does not equal an attack on Muslim women.
Not all hijabis support compulsory hijab. The My Stealthy Freedom Facebook page features images of hijabis holding signs protesting compulsory hijab. On January 31, 2018, Tarek Fatah shared an incredibly poignant video. A short, stooped Iranian woman, slowed and bent by time, climbed up a small platform in a snowy landscape. Once on the platform, she removed her hijab, wrapped it around her cane, and waved it. She was imitating the image of Vida Movahed, aka “The Girl of Enghelab Street,” who gained fame through a viral photo of an anti-compulsory-hijab protest. Movahed was later imprisoned. Prison guards in Iran are alleged routinely to rape imprisoned activists. Those who oppose free speech about hijab want to force this choice on us: love Muslim women or hate Muslim women. Their choice is false. The choice is between freedom and totalitarianism. We who support freedom love Muslim women. We support free speech about hijab.
3.) Islam’s canonical documents define hijab as the establishment of two tiers of women, one superior, to be safe from sexual molestation, one inferior and subject to sexual molestation.
No doubt my friends who celebrated Omar see hijab as just another lifestyle choice. Their tolerant celebration of Omar’s hijab, they believe, will be reciprocated by Omar’s tolerance of their choices in attire – jeans and t-shirts, say.
Dr. Tawfik Hamid is an Egyptian-born, Arabic speaking, former member of an Islamist terrorist group. In his book Inside JihadDr. Hamid quotes the Koran and authoritative interpretations of it. He states that hijab’s purpose “is not modesty or to encourage observers to focus on a Muslim woman’s personality. Its purpose, according to the most authentic hadiths and interpretations, is to create a society where superior free Muslim women are distinguished from inferior slave women … The hijab … encourages hatred for non-Muslim women who wear modern clothing.”
When Americans like Laura Bush and Nancy Pelosi wear hijab, Dr. Hamid writes, “The women seem to be operating under the false belief that the hijab is a neutral – or merely traditional – fashion statement … But the hijab is not simply a clothing accessory. It harbors deep Islamic doctrinal connections to slavery and discrimination. Western women who cover themselves are unwittingly endorsing an inhumane system.”
Dr. Hamid goes on to say that when he was an Islamist, he and his fellows despised women without hijab, and cursed them to eternal hellfire. They based this belief on the hadith that says, “The denizens of Hell … [include] the women who would be dressed but appear to be naked,” that is, women without hijab.
Hamid cites Koran 33:59, that is interpreted as dividing women into two classes: Muslim hijabis who are not enslaved, and who deserve respect from men, and non-Muslim women who don’t wear hijab. These enslaved kufars are acceptable as sexual prey for Muslim men. “The hijab … creates a feeling of superiority among the women who wear it (and their men).” Hamid cites Tafsir ibn Kathir, that interprets Koran 33:59 thus, as Hamid puts it: a hijabi would be safe from sexual harassment, “if a woman was seen without a veil, they marked her as a slave girl and could rape her without guilt … most Islamic authorities and scholars affirm this purpose of the hijab.” Hamid goes on to quote various hadiths that support the above interpretation of Koran 33:59.
The dichotomy of superior hijabis = respectable / inferior non-hijabis = sex slaves is not of the ancient past. Modern Islamic websites reinforce it with scripture and interpretation “The respectable women should not look like the slave-girls from their dress when they move out of their houses, with uncovered faces and loose hair;” “the people may know that they are not promiscuous women,” non-hijabis are “women of ill repute from whom some wicked person could cherish evil hopes,” reports Islamic Studies Info, quoting canonical scholars. “The hijab must not resemble the garments of the kuffar,” that is, non-Muslims, counsels the University of Essex Islamic Society.
4.) Hijab covers uniquely feminine evil.
Think about two features of Muslim culture that non-Muslims find it difficult to believe, never mind understand: honor killings and female genital mutilation. All three: honor killings, FGM, and hijab are linked by the same logic.
It is difficult to obtain accurate statistics on honor killings. The UN estimates that thousands occur every year, the vast majority among Muslims. In a typical honor killing, a girl is raped and her family kills her. Daniel Akbari, an Iranian-born lawyer and expert in sharia law, writes that honor killings are not random events, and honor killers are not lone wolves, acting on passion outside of society. Rather, in his book, Honor Killing: A Professional’s Guide, Akbari argues that honor killings are not just condoned, but are demanded by Islamic understandings of women.
Honor killers are often not brought to trial. If they are, sentences have often been lenient. As some courts, under international pressure, have become more strict, killers have found new approaches. One approach might be called “honor suicide.” The family informs the prospective victim that she must end her life. In 2006, a 17-year-old Turkish girl received a text to her phone from her uncle. He instructed her to kill herself. Some girls are locked in rooms with rat poison, a pistol, or a rope. Another approach is to assign the task to the youngest male in the family, on the assumption that courts are less willing to sentence young boys to lengthy prison terms. Families may be reluctant to kill, but the surrounding community’s “social pressure and incessant gossip” drive them to do it.
Not just families, but entire polities acting on sharia law punish women for being victims of sexual assault. In October, 2008, Aisha Ibrahim Duhulow, a 13-year-old Somali girl, was stoned to death for being raped by three armed men. A nineteen-year-old Saudi girl was raped fourteen times by seven men. In 2007, she was sentenced to 200 lashes and six months in jail. “Up to 80 per cent of women in Pakistan’s jails are charged under rules that penalize rape victims. But hardliners have vetoed an end to the Islamic laws,” Dan McDougall wrote in 2006.
Female genital mutilation is practiced by some, but not all, Muslims in the United States, Europe, the Middle East, India, and Southeast Asia. Various Islamic scriptures support FGM. The process, which ranges from nicks to the clitoris to its complete excision, and removal of labia and sewing up of a female’s external genital opening, astounds non-Muslims.
Approximately ninety percent of women in Egypt have undergone FGM. Egyptian physician Dr. Nawal El Saadawi described her own FGM in her book, The Hidden Face of Eve. She was six years old, in bed, when unknown persons broke into her room, grabbed her, threw her on a bathroom floor, spread her thighs apart, and mutilated her. The pain “was like a searing flame that went through my whole body … I saw a red pool of blood around my hips. I did not know what they had cut off from my body … I called out to my mother for help.” Little Nawal tried to summon her mother to rescue her from these fiends; she was horrified to recognize her mother among them. Later, Nawal saw them mutilate her four-year-old sister. “Now we know what it is. Now we know where lies our tragedy. We were born of a special sex, the female sex. We are destined in advance to taste of misery, and to have a part of our body torn away by cold, unfeeling cruel hands.”
Research shows that “religious justification is held to be the strongest argument in favor of FGM.” In other words, people practice FGM because they believe that their religion, Islam, demands it. Communities support FGM by stigmatizing women who have intact genitalia. Hirsi Ali reports that in her native Somalia’s madrassahs, “kinterleey,” “girl with a clitoris,” is a standard insult. “Severe stigmatization of girls and women who have not undergone FGM are well in place.” Any effort to stamp out FGM should focus on convincing Muslims clerics that FGM damages “reproductive health.” Note that this World Health Organization publication does not recommend that Muslim clerics be encouraged to consider how FGM hurts women and girls – only how it hurts potential breeders.
Non-Muslims are confused. How could a father murder his own daughter? How could a mother participate in the mutilation of her daughter?
The answer may be found in one of the justifications for hijab. The sight of women causes men to sin. Women are required to disguise themselves. In the logic of hijab, women caused the rapist to rape. She should have covered herself.
Recently, a Muslim preacher described a Muslima who went out in public in a jilbab, that is a long, loose coat, but allowed her face and her high-heeled shoes to be visible. This exposure, he insisted, “tortured” men, because the sight of her face and her shoes forced those men to think about sex – “even though he didn’t want to…he has to struggle with himself not to look at this woman.”  “All this would be in the book of deeds for this sister.” Allah “would give her a double portion of punishment” in the fires of hell for the thoughts that the men thought when they saw her face and shoes. “She is making these men seduced.” “She is purchasing a ticket for Jahannam,” or hell.
Sheikh Taj el-Din al-Hilali, the Grand Mufti of Australia and New Zealand, preached in a 2006 Ramadan sermon that Australian women raped by Muslim rape gangs are responsible for the rapes. “If you take out uncovered meat and place it outside on the street … and the cats come and eat it … whose fault is it, the cats or the uncovered meat? … The uncovered meat is the problem. … If she was in her room in her home, in her hijab, no problem would have occurred … the responsibility falls ninety per cent of the time on the woman. Why? Because she possesses the weapon of enticement.”
During the New Year’s celebrations of 2015/16, thousands of women and girls throughout Western Europe were sexually assaulted by Muslim men. A Cologne imam, Sami Abu-Yusuf, said that the sexually assaulted women were the guilty parties. “If they’re half-naked and wearing perfume, it’s not surprising that such things would happen … It’s not surprising that the men attacked them. Dressing up like that is like pouring oil into the fire.”
In citing perfume, the cleric echoes Mohammed himself, who said, “She is an adulteress, as she provokes the lusts of men with her perfume and compels them and whoever else to look at her.” Note the word “compel.” She, the woman, is responsible for men’s behavior. She forced men to sin by wearing perfume. These are not ancient ideas; they are the foundation of sharia law. Men, on the other hand, are allowed to wear strong scents.
Even little girls possess the weapon of enticement. In Iran, compulsory hijab begins at age 7. Hashim Almidini, an Iraqi-born Australian, featured a hijab tutorial created by an Australian cleric using his little daughter as a model. The silent, shamed daughter appears to be six years old. The cleric, though living in Australia, says that Western culture, lead by Satan, is “invading” Muslims. “Western norms” are Satan’s tool. Hijab is the key battleground between Muslims and hell. The cleric blasts his daughter for showing her neck, her earlobes, and her sock-less ankles.
In January, 2019 news broke of a Malaysian textbook that warns nine-year-old girls to wear hijab to protect the “modesty of their genitals” lest they be sexually assaulted, rejected by their friends, and bring shame onto their families. The textbook includes an image of a young girl seated in a chair, her head in her hands as she slumps in shame. Azrul Mohd Kalib posted this image from the textbook on twitter, and commented, “Not only does this put the responsibility of preventing sexual harassment solely on the shoulders of a girl, it also implies that she had it coming!” She had it coming: that’s the whole idea.
5.) In the logic of hijab, women without hijab are begging to be sexually assaulted.
If wearing hijab communicates that a woman is virtuous, godly, and chaste, lack of hijab communicates that a woman is begging to be sexually assaulted. Egyptian-born Dina Torkia is a successful Muslima fashion and beauty blogger. She lives in the UK with her Pakistani husband. In late 2018, she stopped wearing hijab. On January 1, 2019, she posted a video of herself reading social media messages she received in response to her decision. Reading the messages took forty-eight minutes. Again and again, one theme repeats: she removed hijab because she wants to be sexually assaulted. “Dina didn’t get banged enough when she was young. Now she’s opening up sexually.” “U took the hijab off next time sure would be cock riding or a porn star,” “YOU ARE A HOE,” “The choice you made is welcoming you to the cock carousel, slut.”
Samin, an Iranian activist, created an animation to support those resisting compulsory hijab. “Girls are forced to be liars … you censor yourself when you put it on” but, “If you don’t wear hijab, they think you are a whore.”
Mostly Muslim grooming gangs have been raping, torturing, and sexually enslaving British girls for several decades. One asks how grown men, husbands and fathers themselves, could commit such hideous crimes against little girls, some of whom they killed. Daniel Akbari explains. “For their entire lives these men have been taught that the women who do not wear a hijab and show skin are like whores … They also assume that only Muslim women who follow sharia rules for women’s dress and conduct, wear a hijab, lower their gaze, do not laugh or eat in public, and do not go out of the house without their unmarriageable kin men escorting them deserve respect.”
Indeed, a girl who was abused by a grooming gang said that hijab was used as justification for their abuse of her. “As a teenager, I was taken to various houses and flats above takeaways in the north of England, to be beaten, tortured and raped over one hundred times. I was called a ‘white slag’ and ‘white c- – -‘ as they beat me. They made it clear that because I was a non-Muslim, and not a virgin, and because I didn’t dress ‘modestly’, that they believed I deserved to be ‘punished’.”
6.) Hijab limits women’s entire lives, not just what they wear.
Islam demands that “hijab of the clothes should be accompanied by hijab of the eyes, hijab of the heart, hijab of thought and hijab of intention. It also includes the way a person walks, the way a person talks, the way he/she behaves, etc.”
Many Muslims interpret hijab as including the command that women not leave their homes. Koran 33:33 commands, “stay in your homes and do not go about displaying your allurements.” Islamic Studies Info teaches, “woman’s real sphere of activity is her home … she should come out of the house only in case of a genuine need.”
In her book, In the Land of the Blue Burkas, author Kate McCord describes her life lived in intimate contact with Afghan women who wear sky-blue burqas that cover them from head to foot. Afghanistan is frequently cited as one of the worst countries on earth to be a woman. The suicide rate for women is shockingly high. Some families raise their daughters as sons, until puberty forces them to assume female roles. And, of course, some desperate boys are groomed to be girls, to serve as male prostitutes.
One Afghan woman described to McCord why she would not dare to sing, even within the confines of her own home, surrounded not only by the house walls, but also courtyard walls. “‘If a woman sings and a man hears her, he will think her voice is beautiful and will lust after her. Maybe he will be on the street separated by the wall or in a neighbor’s aouli [courtyard]. Maybe he will never see the woman who sings, but he hears her voice. If that happens, he will want her. The sin is hers. She will be punished. That’s why a woman should never sing, even in her own aouli.’ The women in that gathering agreed unanimously. It’s a great sin for a woman to allow a man to hear her sing.”
The conviction that women’s voices engender sin is not a “long ago, far away” concept. Modern Muslims living in the West discuss, online, the female voice as a source of fitna. Linda Sarsour’s voice is allowed to be heard only as long as she is bashing the kufar. Were Sarsour’s voice ever used to support the White Wednesday activists in Iran, or potential victims of honor killings, Sarsour would face the same death threats as Ayaan Hirsi Ali.
7.) Many Muslims understand hijab’s secondary function as proselytizing for Islam.
Hijab is assessed as an effective way to carry out the Allah-given mission: to spread Islam to all people until no deity is worshipped save Allah (al-Bukhari 8:387). Islam is spread through jihad, but also through “da’wah,” or proselytizing. In the article aptly titled, “Hijab Activism,” Shaema Imam writes that, “With Hijab, every public moment becomes Dawa.” Clothing is used “to demonstrate what groups they belong to … The Ummah must cultivate a distinct identity.”
In her article, “The Hijab as Da’wah,” Dr. Aisha Hamdan writes, “Many scholars agree that the only reason a Muslim may live in a non-Muslim country is to conduct dawah and bring people to the true religion … In America, where Islam is the fastest growing religion (alhumdullilah), many people are coming to know what this head covering really signifies … The hijab, in effect, is an amazingly powerful tool for dawah … Once a woman begins to wear hijab she completes a large portion of her responsibility for dawah … Each time that she goes to the grocery store, the library, to work, to school, or to any other public place, she is spreading the magnificent message of Islam.” One must do this because non-Muslims “are being deluded by Satan and following paths to destruction.”
A recent convert to Islam wrote that hijabis “are a walking billboard for your religion … You could be helping open someone’s mind to submitting.”
In a March 8, 2018 post asking, “Why do Muslim Women Actually Wear the Hijab?” Saulat Pervez wrote, “Conspicuous in their head-coverings, these women have become ambassadors of the Islamic faith.”
Misbah Awan wrote in the Huffington Post that “wearing the hijab is a form of dawah … They are targeting … especially youth … It helps to avoid linking Muslims with 9/11 and terrorism. It provides a way of bringing light and warm-hearted thoughts into young minds.”
8.) Hijab is kept in place with violence, terror, and intimidation.
Many hijabis insist, stridently, that they don’t need to be liberated by anyone, and that hijab is their personal choice. This is no doubt true. What is also true is that hijab is kept in place through violence, terror, and intimidation. No one can ever know if any given hijabi is a hijabi because of her own choice.
Hijab is mandated by law in Saudi Arabia and Iran. In other countries, hijab is kept in place with varying degrees of social pressure, always culminating in death. In Egypt, street harassment of women is routine. In Iran, there have been numerous acid attacks in the midst of calls for punishment of “badly veiled” women.
Aqsa Parvez’s father killed her over hijab in Canada in 2007. She was sixteen. Bina, a 21-year-old wife, mother, and Iranian immigrant to Sweden, was killed in 2016 by her husband because she stopped wearing hijab. “‘He thought that other people were making fun of him – it was a matter of honor,’ said a close friend … a family member said, ‘We came here far from oppression, but some people have difficulty living freely.’ After he murdered her, Bina’s husband put a hijab on her face and neck.” In 2017, a fifteen-year-old Iraqi victim of an honor killing was beheaded. A hijab was wrapped around her decapitated head, which had been thrown into a garbage can.
Turkish-born, 23-year-old Hatun Surucu, the mother of a little boy, once in Berlin, Germany, “discarded her Islamic head scarf.” To her family, “such behavior represented the ultimate shame – the embrace of ‘corrupt’ Western ways.” Hatun was murdered by family members who conspired in her murder, and who said of her, “The whore lived like a German.” Her youngest brother, 18, bragged of the murder.
In 2009, in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, Mohammad Shafia murdered his three daughters Zainab, Sahar, Geeti – all teens – and Rona, one of his wives. As Michael Friscolanti put it, “the Shafia sisters were caught in the ultimate culture clash, living in Canada but not allowed to be Canadian. They were expected to behave like good Muslim daughters, to wear the hijab and marry a fellow Afghan. And when they rebelled against their father’s ‘traditions’ and ‘customs’ – covertly at first, then for all the community to see – the shame became too much to bear. Only a mass execution … could wash away the stain of their secret boyfriends and revealing clothes.”
All of these murders, and thousands of others like them, are part of a cultural pattern: honor killings justified with reference to a woman’s refusal to wear hijab. For every such honor killing that occurs, there are millions that never happen, but that are hinted at to rebellious daughters, sisters, and wives. You don’t want to end up like so-and-so.
9.) Hijab is not intended to, nor does it, create a worldview where women’s individuality is valued apart from their physical attractiveness, or where women are seen as anything other than wives, mothers, and whores, all designed to please men, but capable of damning men.
In a January 7, 2016 Daily Show appearance, Muslim activist Dalia Moghed insisted that hijab teaches Muslim women to focus on their own individuality beyond their ability sexually to attract men. That is not the purpose for hijab stated in foundational scriptures. Koran 24:31 advises women wearing hijab not to allow their ornaments to make noise as they walk. That is, it is assumed that a woman in hijab is fully bejeweled underneath her cover. Anyone who has spent any time with hijabis knows that they enter the gender-mixed rooms of parties cloaked in shapeless black from head to foot, but once they are in the area reserved for women, they remove their hijabs to reveal that underneath they are dressed in fashions worthy of the hottest runway. At such parties, women dance competitively with and for other women. The dances are undeniably erotic. YouTube features endless tutorials for hijabis on how to look hot even in hijab. These videos have millions of eager fans who lavish praise on hot hijabi YouTube stars. See for example hereherehere, and here. Linda Sarsour, America’s most famous hijabi, is never seen without a full face of makeup.
Hijab manufacturers do not market their products as promoting women’s gender-free individuality, but rather as beautiful complements to their physical appearance. One hijab manufacturer says, “In order to build a world where women have beautiful options for every occasion, we’ve designed the standard of luxury for hijab. Crafted from the finest pure silk, tulle and lace opulently adorned with bespoke embellishments, this collection channels timeless elegance.” Hijab customers praise their hijabs based on how attractive they are. “Navy is a color I always need with my floral dresses and patterned shirts,” and “Beautiful color – Perfect for Fall/Winter!! It goes wonderfully with my dark skin tone and adds elegance to any outfit,” and “Such a chic sophisticated color.”
Too, Muslim men are quite capable of objectifying women in complete hijab. Dancers at Arab parties may be covered from head to foot, but still required to perform what some call “Arab twerking,” a dance that involves highly suggestive movements with the hips and buttocks. Women in full, state-mandated cover have been sexually harassed in Saudi Arabia, including by men who follow them on the street and grab their breasts, buttocks, and groin. Videos of this harassment has been posted to YouTube and sparked public discussion. The Mosque Me Too movement has generated hundreds of accounts of Muslimas being groped, fondled, and violated in the most sacred of spaces, including during the haj. One survivor wrote, “When I visited the Jama Masjid in Delhi, the man lending modest robes to women touched my breasts.” Another, “I was ten years old and I thought my sister was gripping my hips as not to lose me in the huge crowd after jumaa prayer. But my sister was next to me and those turned out not to be my sister’s hands.” Another, “It’s a terrible situation when you are in a mosque, in front of the kaaba, where you should feel the closest to God, and the worst thing happens.”
Hijab has not solved the problem of the sexual objectification and exploitation of women. It was not designed to.
10.) Hijab’s defenders deploy cultural relativism selectively and inaccurately to shield hijab from critique.
It’s just like a nun’s habit,” they say. No, it’s not. Any given nun, from any era, violates several of the criteria for hijab. One can see her face and her hands, one can discern the outline of her form, and one can not only hear her voice, but her voice steers her church. Hildegard von Bingen, Teresa of Avila, Mothers Teresa and Angelica, and Wendy Beckett clearly did not obey hijab’s dictates about remaining silently at home, submissive to their earthly spouse. Too, there is no Catholic analog to acid attacks to force women to become nuns.
“It’s just a piece of cloth,” they say. The Confederate flag is also just a piece of cloth. We must bring the same awareness, honesty, and courage to discussion of hijab that we bring to discussion of the Confederate flag. This discussion is not Islamophobic, any more than discussion of the Confederate flag is “Confederacy-phobic.” I speak not for, but with, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Masih Alinejad, and my beloved friend Aisha, who, in spite of the safe house that gave her temporary shelter, in the end, ended up losing so very much that she has never redeemed. The heartbreak – and love – I feel for this rebellious Muslima informs every word of this article. To my liberal friends I say, please expand your concept of “diversity” to include invisible, silenced women you will never meet –  the nameless fifteen-year-old Iraqi girl whose head, wrapped in a hijab, was tossed in a garbage can, Hatun Surucu, the Turkish mother whose relatives called her a whore, and my beloved friend Aisha.

EQUIVOCATING ON CONDEMNATION OF ANTI-SEMITISM

Democrat extremism renders the party

incapable of denouncing Jew-hate

In the wake of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s anti-Semitic slurs, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi attempted to pass a resolution condemning anti-Semitism. But something went very awry.
Congresswoman Omar, Democrat from Minnesota, was born in Somalia and is one of the first two Muslim women to enter Congress. In recent weeks, she has unleashed a litany of anti-Israel and anti-Semitic comments including “Israel has hypnotized the world. May Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel” (during an Israeli attack against terror organization Hamas in Gaza); “It’s all about the Benjamins, baby” (alluding to the concept that Jews rule through money); and accusations of “dual loyalty” (an old anti-Semitic trope implying that American Jews are more loyal to Israel).
Omar made a quintessential non-apology by stating that she was sorry for the hurt her words caused, but refused to retract her beliefs. She’s sorry “but”….
Prior to her run for Congress, Omar was on the Advisory Board of CAIR in Minnesota. CAIR is a Muslim Brotherhood front-group spawned out of Hamas and the Islamic Association of Palestine, both State Department-designated terrorist organizations. It is also an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial – the largest terror-financing trial in the history of the United States. Omar is scheduled to be the keynote speaker at a CAIR fundraiser in California on March 23, 2019. She will be speaking alongside Hassan Shibley, Director of CAIR-FL, who has praised both Hamas and Hezbollah and is representing the “ISIS bride’s family” in their quest to have her return to America after she called for the mass murder of Americans.
Ilhan Omar openly supports the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement, which seeks economic implosion of the State of Israel. Despite this, freshman Congresswoman Omar holds a coveted seat on the powerful and prestigious House Foreign Affairs Committee where her anti-Israel attitudes can have a real-world impact in terms of funding and U.S. foreign policy. Committee appointments are determined by House leadership. It was Nancy Pelosi who placed Omar on this committee. To quell the rash of criticism unleashed upon the freshman congresswoman, House Speaker Pelosi initially sought to pass a resolution singling out anti-Semitism for condemnation, but the rank and file Democrats simply wouldn’t have it.
The original drafting of the resolution started on Friday, March 1, 2017. The drafters who advocated for a bill that would focus solely on anti-Semitism consisted of three Jewish Democrats: Eliot Engel (D-NY), Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee; Ted Deutch (D-FL), whose father earned a purple heart fighting the Nazis; and Nita Lowey (D-NY), who seeks debate on issues without the injection of anti-Semitic slurs.
Despite the fact that the original purpose of the resolution was to condemn Omar’s hateful comments, the bill did not mention Omar by name. There was no censure, and House Leadership refused to remove Omar from the Foreign Affairs Committee. A resolution is simply words without real consequences. No actions are taken as a result. Despite this, the bill elicited complaints from several quarters within the Democrat Party. Zeroing in on condemnation of anti-Semitism was just too difficult a hurdle for the Democrats to manage, and the resolution was amended to include a broader range of “hate” and “phobias.”
Democrat factions pushed and tugged for an entire week regarding the language of the resolution and some even opposed having a resolution altogether. Even Nancy Pelosi was “taken aback” by the dissent and rancor that her party members exhibited.
Yet, revealing how far to the Left the party has gone, all the Democrats who have thrown their hats into the ring of running for President in 2020 opposed the initial resolution. Kamala Harris argued that calling out Ilhan Omar specifically would “put her at risk” of violence. Some Democrats contemplated requesting a special security detail for Omar at the U.S. Capitol. Senator Bernie Sanders expressed concern that a resolution would result in censorship of Israel debate more broadly. Eliot Engel, while condemning Omar’s comments, still dismissed suggestions that she should be removed from the Foreign Affairs Committee.
Additionally, members of the Congressional Black Caucus (of which Omar is a member), and members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus all opposed a resolution focusing on anti-Semitism. For the Black Caucus, any possible mention of Omar by name would have been a non-starter. Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley (D-MS), a close friend of Omar and a member of both the CBC and the CPC, insisted “we need equity in our outrage… Islamophobia needs to be included in this. We need to denounce all forms of hate.”
External pressure groups such as CAIR and Jewish Voice for Peace (a radical anti-Israel organization that uses the Jewish heritage of its members to ward off claims of anti-Semitism), as well as Linda Sarsour, known anti-Semite and advocate for Sharia, were also pressuring members of congress to refrain from singling out anti-Semitism in a resolution. So much for “Jewish influence” in Congress.
Ironically, the resolution was sent to the House Foreign Affairs Committee (where Omar sits) for vetting. Finally, at 5:05 PM on Thursday, March 8, 2019, a vote was taken on the floor of the House and passed with an overwhelming majority. The watered-down resolution is so all-inclusive as to be almost meaningless. It was expanded to include condemnation of anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, and bigotry against all minorities including the LGBT community. It invoked the events of Charlottesville and condemned – yet again – white supremacists and neo-Nazis.
And while it had several statements condemning anti-Semitic libels, it also asserted that in the wake of 9/11, Muslims shouldn’t be associated with terrorism, and that it is “unfair,”  “irrational,” and “prejudicial” to believe that [some] Muslims sympathize with terrorism or those who oppress women, Jews and minorities (thus denying Sharia’s ideology). The resolution also calls on law enforcement and government officials to refrain from “profiling.” Because this is the first congressional resolution condemning “anti-Muslim bigotry,” three Muslim Congressmen – Omar, Tlaib and Andre Carson (D-IN) – are claiming a victory in its passage.
Twenty-three Republican Congressmen, including Louie Gohmert from Texas and Liz Cheney from Wyoming, voted against the resolution because it wasn’t focused singularly on anti-Semitism. All of them supported the original version which singled out anti-Semitism.
Ilhan Omar insists that her comments were not anti-Semitic but either true or simply legitimate criticism of Israel. She asserts that the reason people are accusing her of anti-Semitism is because the comments are coming from a Muslim and those pointing the finger are “Islamophobic.”  Like other Islamic supremacists, she has managed to turn everything upside down and backwards. If Islamists want to impose their religious views on you and you resist, then you are denying their right to “practice” their religion. If they want you to submit to their practices and you refuse, then you are “hostile” to their “religion.” And now, if you accuse a Muslim who openly expresses anti-Semitism, then you are targeting them due to Islamophobia.
This resolution was broadened to the point where it no longer serves its original intended purpose. In the recent past, Islamist groups have managed to put pressure on local governments and societal institutions to pass resolutions all across the country that condemn so-called Islamophobia, without any mention of “phobias” against other races, groups or belief systems. Democrats have gone along with it. Why now, are they totally unable, in the wake of hateful comments made by a member of their own party, to put forth a resolution focusing on condemnation of anti-Semitism?
The fiasco during the process of this resolution reveals a lack of moral clarity within the Democrat Party and the Left more broadly. If you vote Democrat and think you are voting for the party of JFK, of Martin Luther King’s colorblindness, or simply of equal pay for women, think again. That party is dead. You now belong to the party of Louis Farrakhan, Ilhan Omar, Linda Sarsour and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. You belong to a party that hijacked a condemnation of Jew-hatred and twisted it to make Muslims, not Jews, the victims. If you are Jewish and vote Democrat, there can be no clearer wakeup call.

While the Women’s March is supposed to be about women, the so-called “feminist” speakers openly promote Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran, which are history’s greatest forces for misogyny and oppression. Since the event’s organizers (Tamika Mallory and Linda Sarsour) are embroiled in controversy over antisemitic sentiments, the movement seems to be falling apart.
David Wood discusses the issue, and breaks down ALL the distortions she spews forth to the gullible, citing ALL the historical truthful evidence to the contrary:

HOUSE DEMOCRATS REWARD ANTI-SEMITIC MUSLIM REP. ILHAN OMAR WITH PLACE ON FOREIGN AFFAIRS COMMITTEE

Dems face backlash for appointing Omar

Republican conference chairwoman Liz Cheney is calling for congresswoman
Ilhan Omar to step down from her assignment to the House Foreign Affairs Committee. One America’s Kara McKinney explains why.

HOUSE DEMOCRATS REWARD ANTI-SEMITIC MUSLIM REP. ILHAN OMAR WITH PLACE ON

FOREIGN AFFAIRS COMMITTEE

This shows the extent to which open anti-Semitism has become mainstream and normalized on the Left today. In fact, it is likely that Omar’s paranoid hatred of Israel, rooted in Islamic anti-Semitism, made her a good candidate for this position in the eyes of Democrat leaders, who have been following a consistent anti-Israel line for years.
“House Democrats reward an anti-Semitic conspiracy theorist with a place on the Foreign Affairs Committee,” by Tiana Lowe, Washington Examiner, January 17, 2019:
Lost in the incomprehensible word salad of the freewheeling, Trumpian, and mathematically illiterate performance of Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., on CNN today was the more ominous fact that the Democratic Party rewarded her, an anti-Semitic conspiracy theorist, with a place on the prestigious House Foreign Affairs Committee.
Omar, who replaced accused domestic abuser Keith Ellison in Congress, is no run-of-the-mill Democrat. She openly supports the boycott, divest, and sanction movement against Israel. She cozied up to Farrakhan fan Linda Sarsour on the day she entered Congress. But most damning is a tweet from 2012, in which she invokes a classic anti-Semitic trope.
“Israel has hypnotized the world,” wrote Omar in the now hotly contested tweet. “May Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel. #Gaza #Palestine #Israel.”
Omar has conducted two interviews in the last 24 hours, in which she was given opportunities to explain the tweet. To Christiane Amanpour, Omar called the language “unfortunate,” claiming that they were “the only words” she could think of to describe Israel’s 2012 airstrike offensive in Gaza. To Poppy Harlow and Jim Sciutto, she said, “I don’t know how my comments could be offensive to Jewish-Americans.”
I could think of a few ways. For one thing, painting Israel as a nefarious Jewish cabal spreading its tentacles around the globe doesn’t do much to curb the idea that emphatic critics of Israel simply opposed the government and not the people. But more significantly, Omar had seven years to think of an answer, an explanation, or even straight-up lie about a political evolution in order to save face. The best she could come up with was little more than a shrug.
Even worse is that Democrats aren’t just refusing to condemn her for this — they are also giving her a prestigious committee seat that could have gone to someone who hates Jews a lot less….

Robert Spencer: Democrats Again Show Their Anti-semitism with Placement of Ilhan Omar On Foreign Affairs Committee

My latest in the Geller Report:
The Washington Examiner reported Thursday that Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), whose open hatred of Jews should have rendered her unelectable to Congress, has instead been rewarded with a plum appointment to the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
“Israel has hypnotized the world,” Omar wrote in a now-infamous weet. “May Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel. #Gaza #Palestine #Israel.”
Trying to explain that tweet, Omar only made matters worse. She told Christiane Amanpour that while her language was “unfortunate,” those were “the only words” she could find to do justice to how she felt about Israel’s defensive action in Gaza in 2012. Then she told Poppy Harlow and Jim Sciutto: “I don’t know how my comments could be offensive to Jewish-Americans.”
The hijabed (and therefore pro-Sharia) Omar was less delicate when she fired back online at a man who challenged the tweet: “Drawing attention to the apartheid Israeli regime is far from hating Jews. You are a hateful sad man, I pray to Allah you get the help you need and find happiness.”
All this is just the tip of the iceberg regarding Ilhan Omar. Adam Kredo reported in the Washington Free Beacon last August that while she was serving in the Minnesota state House, Omar “once voted against a state bill to stop insurance payments to those convicted of terror acts, adding more fuel to accusations the candidate represents a fringe, anti-Israel section of the Democratic Party. Omar, a Muslim Somali-American who has come under fire for her harsh criticism of Israel, was one of just two lawmakers in 2017 who voted against a Minnesota bill to deny life insurance payments to any person convicted of aiding or committing terror acts, according to official vote tallies.”
Omar does indeed represent an “anti-Israel section of the Democratic Party,” it is by no stretch of the imagination a “fringe,” at least not anymore. It is mainstream in the Democratic Party, and not just mainstream, either: it’s the future.
There is corruption as well. David Steinberg of PJ Media has done extraordinary work in shedding light on aspects of Omar’s record that the establishment media has steadfastly ignored. Steinberg reports that Omar has “faced allegations — soon backed by a remarkable amount of evidence — that she had married her own brother in 2009, and was still legally his wife. They officially divorced in December 2017. The motivation for the marriage remains unclear. However, the totality of the evidence points to possible immigration fraud and student loan fraud.”
What’s more, she swore to apparent falsehoods in court. Steinberg also noted in last August that “Minnesota’s largest newspapers — along with every other mainstream outlet in the country — just whiffed on covering this: Signed, notarized court documents and time-stamped photos showing the Democratic frontrunner for Minnesota’s highest-profile House seat appearing to commit perjury. The common newsroom explanation, often valid, for having passed on a particular story — ‘we couldn’t independently verify it’ — simply does not apply here. The evidence…against Minnesota state Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-60B) consists of nothing but certified court filings and archived social media posts.”
But Leftists rarely have to answer for their corruption, and so in the new Democrat House, Omar is being rewarded rather than censured and investigated. She and her fellow Muslim Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib will also enjoy establishment media accolades as they pursue their hard-Left, anti-American, anti-Israel agenda. Their presence in the House of Representatives may be evidence of “diversity,” but it is also a disquieting sign of the continued dominance of identity politics, and the increasing balkanization of the American body politic. Forthrightly pro-America, pro-Israel candidates would stand little to no chance in either of their districts. And that is indicative of a much larger problem.

DEMOCRATS COMPARE TRUMP TO HITLER; VOW TO “IMPEACH THE MOTHER****ER”

DEMOCRATS COMPARE TRUMP TO HITLER;
VOW TO “IMPEACH THE MOTHER****ER”
“We’re not going to shirk our responsibility.”
BY STEVE WATSON
republished below in full unedited, LESS OFFENSIVE TWEETS, for informational,
educational and research purposes

Democrats have wasted little time in moving to impeach the President after taking office in the new year, with one new Congresswoman even declaring her desire to “go in and impeach the motherfucker.”
Rep. Rashida Tlaib, a Muslim Congresswoman from Michigan, was sworn in on Thursday, controversially taking her oath of office using a Quran.
According to reports, Tlaib quoted her son telling her, “Look mama you won. Bullies don’t win.”
Tlaib was said to reply in front of a MoveOn funded crowd “You’re right, they don’t. And we’re gonna go in and impeach the mother****er.”

Tlaib isn’t the only Democrat calling for Trump’s head. In addition to Tlaib’s comments, coming after Democrats officially took over the House, Democratic California Rep. Brad Sherman reintroduced articles of impeachment against Trump.

The resolution accuses the President of “high crimes and misdemeanors,” and claims that Trump “sought to use his authority to hinder and cause the termination of” investigations related to alleged Russian “collusion” during the 2016 campaign.
In addition, Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) told Lawrence O’Donnell that “Donald Trump is either going to be impeached by the Congress, or impeached at the ballot box.”
“It’s really a race as to which one will happen first. I think for the sake of democracy, just as Speaker Pelosi said, I’d rather see it done at the ballot box, but we’re not going to shirk our responsibility.” Swalwell added.
Earlier Thursday, in an interview with NBC, new House Speaker Nancy Pelosi refused to rule out the possibility of impeachment.
“Well we have to wait and see what happens with the Mueller report. We shouldn’t be impeaching for a political reason, and we shouldn’t avoid impeachment for a political reason. We just have to see how it comes,” Pelosi said.
In addition, Georgia Rep Hank Johnson, a Congressman voted most clueless by congressional staffers, delivered a speech comparing Trump to Hitler, and yesterday doubled down on the comments.
The Witch Hunt continues.

EXCERPTS:
“At Friendship Baptist Church in Atlanta, Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) repeatedly compared President Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler” and referenced him as “racist strongman.”
This is the kind of propaganda that routinely used against the counter-jihad movement: branding those who oppose jihad terror as “racist” is as ridiculous as comparing Trump to Hitler. Hitler allied with the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and murdered Jews during the Holocaust. Hank Johnson’s bizarre comparison is abhorrent. Trump has been a staunch ally and defender of Israel, the number-one target of jihadists. Trump moved the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem and defunded  the UNRWA (United Nations Relief Works Agency). The UNRWA  is “an active part of perpetuating the conflict. UNRWA schools have become a hotbed of incitement against Israel, Jews and the West. UNRWA personnel have been caught time and again working hand in hand with Hamas, enabling terror tunnels to run under its institutions.”

New Muslim Rep. Rashida Tlaib sworn in on Quran, says of Trump:
“We’re going to impeach the motherf***er”
BY CHRISTINE DOUGLASS-WILLIAMS
republished below in full unedited for informational, educational and research purposes:

Merely “hours after being sworn in as the first-ever Palestinian-American to serve in Congress, Michigan Democrat Rashida Tlaib used an expletive to describe US President Donald Trump and vowed to push for his impeachment.”
Tlaib brings into Congress a heavy-handed agenda that she has made no secret of, one that is vociferously anti-Trump and anti-Israel. Tlaib has also stated that she would “absolutely” vote against military aid to the Jewish state, which she knows full well is a jihadi target for obliteration. In fact, she seeks a one-state solution, which would destroy Israel as a homeland for Jews.
This new “Palestinian source of pridewas sworn in on the Quran, and then graciously stated of America’s Commander in Chief: “We’re gonna impeach the motherf****r.” Classy.

“Rashida Tlaib on Trump: We’re going to impeach that mother****er,” Times of Israel, January 4, 2019:

Hours after being sworn in as the first-ever
Palestinian-American to serve in Congress, Michigan Democrat Rashida
Tlaib used an expletive to describe US President Donald Trump and vowed
to push for his impeachment.
Speaking at an event organized by progressive group MoveOn, Tlaib recounted a conversation she had with her son.
“‘Momma look you won. Bullies don’t win,’” she said he told her.
“And I said, ‘Baby they don’t, because we’re going to go in there and impeach the mother****er,” Tlaib continued to applause.
There was no immediate response from Trump, who is known for taking to Twitter to hit out at critics.
Placing her hand on a Quran that once belonged to Thomas Jefferson, Tlaib was sworn in earlier Thursday.
Together with Minnesota’s Ilhan Omar, Tlaib, an outspoken
activist-cum-politician from Michigan, was one of the two first Muslim
women to enter Congress Thursday, among dozens of freshman lawmakers who
are helping make the 116th Congress the most diverse one in the
nation’s history…..

Hugh Fitzgerald: Rashida Tlaib and Jefferson’s Qur’an
BY HUGH FITZGERALD
republished below in full unedited for informational, educational and research purposes:

Rashida Tlaib, the newly-elected Democratic congresswoman from Michigan, was sworn in yesterday on the Qur’an once owned by Thomas Jefferson. She claims this Qur’an shows that “Muslims were there at the beginning.” The only thing that Jefferson’s Qur’an shows is that he was curious about all sorts of things, and that, among those things, was Islam. He apparently bought the Qur’an, in the 1734 translation by George Sale, when he was a young man studying law. We do not know when, or even if, he read the book. Rashida Tlaib may think Jefferson’s owning of the Qur’an was a sign of his respect for the faith. The facts suggest otherwise.
We do know that in March 1786, Jefferson and John Adams met in London with the ambassador from Tripoli, Sidi Haji Abdrahaman, to discuss Triopolitanian attacks on American shipping. When they inquired “concerning the ground of the pretensions to make war upon nations who had done them no injury,” the ambassador replied:
“It was written in their Koran, (that all nations which had not acknowledged the Prophet were sinners, whom it was the right and duty of the faithful to plunder and enslave; and that every mussulman who was slain in this warfare was sure to go to paradise. He said, also, that the man who was the first to board a vessel had one slave over and above his share, and that when they sprang to the deck of an enemy’s ship, every sailor held a dagger in each hand and a third in his mouth; which usually struck such terror into the foe that they cried out for quarter at once.”
Jefferson came away from that encounter convinced that the only language these Muslims understood was force, and that any payment to Tripoli, as Abdrarahman had demanded, in order to stop attacks on American shipping, would not work. Jefferson argued that paying tribute would only encourage more attacks. However, even those who agreed with Jefferson thought the American navy was ill-prepared to engage the ships of the Bashaw of Tripoli, and it was not until 1801, when Jefferson had become President, and turned down a demand from the Bashaw for tribute in order to exempt American shipping from Tripolitanian attacks, that the first Barbary War began.
Ever since his encounter in London with Abdrarahman in 1786, Jefferson had taken a dim, and realistic view, of Muslims. He understood that they attacked Christian shipping because they were convinced that they had both a right and a duty to do so. Possibly Rashida Tlaib does not know about his encounter with the envoy from Tripoli. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if among the reporters covering her swearing-in — and with many no doubt gushing over this “first Palestinian-American” member of Congress — there will be at least one intrepid reporter who will remind readers that the Qur’an Jefferson owned was one of 6,487 books his library ultimately included, that he had bought it as a young law student, and that there is no indication that he ever read it, much less ever mentioned it respectfully. Further, Jefferson’s own pugnacity toward the Muslim rulers of North Africa, and his refusal to countenance the payment of tribute to the Bashaw of Tripoli, which led to the First Barbary War, have their roots in his first encounter with a Muslim, the Tripolitanian envoy in London, Sidi Hajj Abdrarahman, who, when Jefferson asked him the reason why Tripoli’s sailors attacked Americans who had done nothing to them, coolly explained that: “It was written in their Koran, that all nations which had not acknowledged the Prophet were sinners, whom it was the right and duty of the faithful to plunder and enslave; and that every mussulman who was slain in this warfare was sure to go to paradise.”
Let’s hope that that important part of Jefferson’s own education in Islam is faithfully reported, especially because of the tendentious political use to which his Qur’an is being put, and not for the first time — Keith Ellison also made a big deal about being sworn in on “Jefferson’s Qur’an.” Americans deserve to know what Jefferson thought both of Islam as a creed, and of Muslims as self-declared enemies (“it was written in their Koran, that all nations which had not acknowledged the Prophet were sinners…”) of the young Republic. Even Rashida Tlaib could benefit from such a history lesson. It might just dampen her enthusiasm for Jefferson, as she finds out more about our third President.
Finally, it is pleasant to think that among Congressional islamocritics, there might be one who will be bold enough to ask to be sworn in on the Bible that once belonged to John Quincy Adams, in order, that islamocritic could explain, “to pay tribute to the acuity of our most learned President, John Quincy Adams, the defender of the Amistad slaves, and a formidable student of Islam whose views on the faith deserve to be better known among Americans today.”

CONGRESSWOMAN SWORN IN ON THOMAS JEFFERSON’S QURAN IS DEEPLY CONFUSED ABOUT AMERICAN HISTORY
Republished below in full unedited for informational, educational and research purposes:

(Friday Church News Notes, January 11, 2019, www.wayoflife.org, fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) – Rashiba Tlaib, newly elected Democratic congresswoman from Michigan, was sworn into Congress last week on a Quran owned by Thomas Jefferson. She said, “It’s important to me because a lot of Americans have this kind of feeling that Islam is somehow foreign to American history. Muslims were there at the beginning. … Some of our founding fathers knew more about Islam than some members of Congress now … My faith has centered me. The prophet Mohammed was always talking about freedom and justice” (“Detroit congresswoman to use Jefferson’s Koran,” Detroit Free Press, Dec. 19, 2019). Tlaib is right that some of the founding fathers knew more about Islam than some members of Congress today, but not in the way that she assumes. As soon as America gained independence from Britain, Muslim pirates had begun seizing American merchant ships and enslaving the crews for ransom. In 1786, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams were sent to London to negotiate with Tripoli’s ambassador, Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja. When asked why the Muslims attacked nations that “had done them no injury,” Adja replied, “It was written in their Koran, that all nations which had not acknowledged the Prophet were sinners, whom it was the right and duty of the faithful to plunder and enslave; and that every mussulman who was slain in this warfare was sure to go to paradise. He said, also, that the man who was the first to board a vessel had one slave over and above his share, and that when they sprang to the deck of an enemy’s ship, every sailor held a dagger in each hand and a third in his mouth; which usually struck such terror into the foe that they cried out for quarter at once” (Thomas Jefferson Papers, Series 1 1651-1827, Library of Congress). The Barbary pirates cited the Koran as their authority for attacking, brutalizing, and enslaving anyone who is not submitted to Allah. In 1795, America paid $1 million for the release of 115 sailors, an amount that was one-sixth of the U.S. budget. The pirates demanded an annual payment of the same amount. When Jefferson was elected America’s second president in 1801, he and his fellow citizens were of no mind to accept bullying and blackmail. The U.S. Navy was built to protect America against Muslim pirates. One of the most memorable acts of the Barbary War was in 1805 when a force of eight U.S. Marines and 400 Greek and Arab mercenaries, led by U.S. Navy Lieutenant William Eaton, force-marched across 600 miles of desert from Alexandria, Egypt, to capture the city of Derne (or Derna) on the shores of Tripoli. This is memorialized in the U.S. Marine Hymn. By 1816, the Barbary states were forced to cease attacking American and British ships, and this was accomplished by force of arms.

Apparently “Palestine” is somewhere north of Cairo, but precision wasn’t
what whoever did this was after. These two photos are a solid
indication of what kind of Representative Rashida Tlaib is going to be:
one who represents far-Left interests of stoking racial hatred,
demanding entitlements, and vilifying U.S. ally Israel. Of course, no
one has ever had any reason to suspect that she was going to do anything
 else.

Someone has already made a slight alteration to the map that hangs in Rashida Tlaib’s new congressional office.

Alhamdulillah: For Ilhan Omar, All Praise Be To Allah For Her Victory (Part One)
BY HUGH FITZGERALD
republished below in full unedited for informational, educational and research purposes:

A tweet from Ilhan Omar to her “sister” Rashida Tlaib right after the elections:

Congratulations to my sister @RashidaTlaib on your victory!

I cannot wait to serve with you, inshallah. 🙏🏾

Why is Rashida Ilhan’s “sister”? And why was it that Ilhan Omar “cannot wait” to serve with her? Because they are both Muslims. That’s enough to make them “sisters.” That’s more than enough.
Ilhan Omar, one of the first two Muslim women elected to the U.S. Congress, began after her election by treating her audience at her victory speech to a dance performance by fellow Somali-Americans, before giving the universal Islamic greeting with which her victory speech began.

“As-salaam aleikum,” the Democrat said to a crowded room
of supporters during her victory party in Minneapolis, using an Islamic
phrase that means “Peace be upon you.”
“Wa aleikum salaam,” the crowd immediately replied, which means “and upon you be peace.”
After the exchange, which echoes the way millions of American Muslims
greet each other every day, Omar offered her gratitude to God.
“Alhamdulillah,” Omar said three times, a phrase that translates to “all praise to God.”
Hearing that, her supporters erupted in cheers.
Omar’s win in Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District means Congress
will soon have its first hijab-wearing member, its first refugee and its
first Somali-American.
The common Islamic phrases in Omar’s speech were a poignant moment
for many American Muslims ― especially after an election cycle filled
with Islamophobic attacks against Muslim candidates running for
election.
Hearing Omar use the Islamic phrases in the acceptance speech felt
affirming, authentic and relatable, Margaret Hill, managing director of
the Muslim Anti-Racism Collaborative, told HuffPost.
“For any Muslim who draws on their faith for strength, these are
natural phrases,” Hill said. “They are everyday phrases. I see a Muslim,
I give them that greeting. I often say it when I address a crowd.”
Muslims’ practice of exchanging blessings upon meeting is rooted in Islamic scriptures.
It’s also not at all uncommon for Christian politicians to use
religious language to give thanks, with phrases like, “praise God,” and
“to God be the glory.”
Hill said that saying “Alhamdulillah” is an act of humility for Muslims.
“We don’t bat an [eye] when Christians reference their faith in
victory speeches, in moments of silence, or opening prayers,” Hill said.
“If we as Muslims are questioned for using phrases which are part of
our daily life, then that speaks a lot to the climate of anti-Muslim
bigotry.”

But these phrases deserve to be questioned. “As salaam aleikum” is a phrase uttered by Muslims to other Muslims; it is not ordinarily meant to be addressed to non-Muslims. And the phrase “alhamdulillah,” which means “praise be to Allah,” is an example of Islam’s inshallah-fatalism: praising Allah for whatever Allah wills, for Allah Knows Best.

Hearing Omar open her acceptance speech by wishing
blessings to her supporters and thanking God is “no different than
hearing other members of Congress or public figures thank God for their
successes,” Hoda Hawa, director of policy and advocacy at the Muslim
Public Affairs Council, told HuffPost.

It’s very different. Does Hoda Hawa know many Christian “members of Congress” who send greetings, but only to their fellow Christians, as Ilhan Omar was doing when she greeted only fellow Muslims with her “as-salaam aleikum”? And how many “Christian politicians” nowadays thank not their families, supporters, party, but God (“praise be to God”) for their electoral successes?

Hawa said Omar’s election ensures that diverse American communities are represented in Congress.

There have already been two Muslim members of Congress; now there are three: Andre Carson, Rashida Tlaib, and Ilhan Omar, who ran for the seat being vacated by the first Muslim member of the House, Keith Ellison. But there is one “American community” that is “not represented in Congress” today at all — the Christian refugees from Muslim lands. These refugees, mainly from Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Pakistan, have been on the receiving end of Islamic intolerance. Their experience of Islam, and understanding of the Jihad, need to be heard in Congress. Perhaps in 2020 there will be such a candidate.

“Her presence is an inspiration for young American
Muslims who seek to become more politically engaged,” [Hoda Hawa] told
HuffPost.
Slate reporter Aymann Ismail wrote in a post that he felt “transported” after hearing Omar use the Islamic phrases.
“As the child of Muslim immigrants myself, for years, every vote I
cast for a national candidate felt mostly like a vote against whoever I
thought was more likely to stoke hatred against Americans like me,”
Ismail wrote.

This self-pitying victimization — this claim of anxiety about which candidate was more likely “to stoke hatred against Americans like me” — infuriates, especially because there has been almost no such “stoking of hatred against Americans” like Aymann Ismail, that is, Muslims. The mainstream media largely support Islam and Muslims, labeling sober islamocritics as islamophobes, and helping to keep the contents of the Qur’an and Hadith more or less under wraps, lest knowledge of their contents lead to a widespread revulsion with Islam. That media has gone into overdrive in its celebrating the victories of the “first two Muslim women to have been elected to Congress.”

“In Omar, I see a congresswoman who not only sees the
world the way I do, but whose presence alone will remind Congress that I
too am American, and so are all American Muslims.”

How does Aymann Ismail know that  Ilhan Omar “sees the world the way” he does? Because they are both Muslims, and for him that shared identity effaces all other differences. And notice his allusion to the (non-existent) mistreatment of Muslims who, he claims, have hitherto not been recognized as real Americans, but who now, thanks to Omar’s victory, everyone in Congress will be reminded that we Muslims are Americans, too. But why does Aymann Ismail think anyone in Congress needs to be reminded that Muslims are “American citizens too”? They already have had  Keith Ellison and Andre Carson as fellow members of the House, the former having served for more than ten years. Surely that’s enough of a reminder that Muslims “are American citizens too.”

HIGHER LEARNING OR INDOCTRINATION INTO LIBERAL FASCISM?
DARTMOUTH NIGHTMARE: DAVID HOROWITZ PREVENTED FROM GIVING SPEECH, MOCKED, LABELED “RACIST, SEXIST, IGNORANT BIGOT
HOROWITZ HAD TO FUND HIS TRIP & SPEECH, WHILE LINDA SARSOUR, MUSLIM SHARIA RADICAL, WAS PAID $10,000 HONORARIUM & ALL HER EXPENSES UNDERWRITTEN BY DARTMOUTH
BY DAVID HOROWITZ
republished below in full unedited for informational, educational and research purposes:

President Philip Hanlon
Dartmouth College
Hanover, New Hampshire
Dear President Hanlon,
On October 23, I spoke at your college. I was invited by members of
College Republicans and Students Supporting Israel. They probably wanted
to hear what I had to say because I am one of the most prominent
conservative intellectuals in America, having published over twenty
books, three of which were New York Times best-sellers and one of which
was nominated for a National Book Award. The feminist Camille Paglia has
said of me: “I respect the astute and rigorously unsentimental David
Horowitz as one of America’s most original and courageous political
analysts…. As a scholar who regularly surveys archival material, I think
that, a century from now, cultural historians will find David
Horowitz’s spiritual and political odyssey paradigmatic for our time.”
Despite my credentials, and even though these conservative students
pay the same tuition – $75,000 per year – as your leftwing students, I
was forced to raise the money to underwrite my visit and lecture. This
was particularly galling to the Dartmouth conservatives who invited me,
because the previous spring Dartmouth’s “Office of Pluralism and
Leadership” sponsored a visit by notorious anti-Semite and terrorist
supporter Linda Sarsour – who has no academic credentials to speak of –
underwriting her expenses and paying her a reported $10,000 honorarium
for her talk.
My hosts were also probably interested in what I
had to say because over the preceding decades, Dartmouth has purged
conservative intellectuals from its faculty so effectively that the
students could only name two Dartmouth liberal arts professors who were
conservative. This reflects a collective faculty attitude that
intellectual diversity is dangerous and unwanted. This is a disgraceful
fact of academic life, which could easily be remedied, which prevents
Dartmouth students from getting a decent liberal arts education, where
all issues are controversial and intellectual diversity is the only
guarantee that students are being educated rather than indoctrinated, or
that there are reasonable checks on unchallenged leftist professors
going off the deep end. As it happens my visit elicited a professorial
outburst showing just how far leftwing bigotry and anti-academic
discourse can go on your campus. I will come to this in a moment.
Before my arrival, an anonymous leaflet was circulated, apparently by
the Dartmouth Socialists club. It was filled with lies about my work,
calling me a “racist, sexist and ignorant bigot.” These slanders were
drawn from the Southern Poverty Law Center, an institution so
discredited that it recently had to pay a devout and moderate British
Muslim $3.4 million after it libeled him as “a violent anti-Muslim
extremist.” None of the students behind this slander sheet was
apparently aware that I have a 50-year public record as a civil rights
activist, or that I have published three books in the last 20 years
dedicated to Martin Luther King’s vision of an America in which people
are judged by the content of their character and not the color of their
skin. And why should Dartmouth students be aware of my views since
Dartmouth’s leftwing faculty obviously has no respect for conservative
perspectives, which is why conservatives are as rare as unicorns on your
faculty.

Leading the pack of Dartmouth character assassins
who mobilized to combat my presence was Professor Annelise Oreleck, an
out-of-control Gender Studies professor who tweeted: “Long-time hater,
Islamophobe and anti-intellectual David Horowitz is speaking today in
Rocky 3 at 6pm. He is a hater of the first order. If you’re so inclined,
support students who are organizing a protest – Bring signs. Turn your
back. Stage a walkout.” What justification can there be to have such an
angry, close-minded individual teaching Dartmouth students?
Professor Oreleck’s protest instructions happened to be – and surely
this was no coincidence – exactly what the Dartmouth Socialists were
planning to obstruct my lecture –  namely to turn an academic talk into a
circus so that no one would pay serious attention to anything that was
said. They came in force to play loud porn videos, put on headphones to
block out my words, unfurl distracting banners with slogans like “Trans
Rights Are Human Rights” and “ICE is the Gestapo,” and to periodically
walk out of the room throwing jibes in my direction as further
distractions before they left. One transgender person, dressed as though
she was going to Mardi Gras, sat herself near the front and eyed me
intensely in the hope I guess that I would find her disturbing.
All the disrespectful antics of the protesters were in fact disturbing
– not least because they were displays of Ivy League students wasting
what could have been a valuable educational opportunity, and
demonstrations of their total lack of interest in what someone who
disagreed with them, and was far more educated, might be saying. When I
was a college radical, as I told them to no effect, I always wanted to
hear what our opponents were saying because I thought it would make me a
better radical. Apparently, today’s radicals are so dedicated to
self-righteous know-nothingism that they couldn’t care less what they
are fighting against. As for the transgenderism, like many other
conservatives, I am actually a very tolerant person. I happen to have a
transgendered grandson who graduated from an Ivy League school and would
never think of attending a college lecture only to mock it.
Wondering how students paying $75,000 a year for a Dartmouth
education could throw away such an opportunity, it occurred to me that
maybe they were not paying anything at all, but were so-called
“marginalized” and “under-served” affirmative action scholarship cases.
What a travesty that Dartmouth would encourage them to squander the
opportunity their scholarships provided by not insisting on behavior
appropriate to an academic community. When educators encourage closed
minds, what is left of the learning process?
As it happens
there were several Dartmouth administrators overseeing this event,
including Keysi Montás, the Director of Safety and Security who was in
charge. Unfortunately, they were not there to enforce an educational
decorum but to encourage the protesters by tolerating their antics and
refusing to eject them.
The whole travesty was sealed by the
school newspaper, The Dartmouth, which bills itself as “The Oldest
College Newspaper,” and which sent a reporter named Andrew Culver to
cover the event. Before I began speaking, I gave Culver a recorded
interview at his request. In it, I defended myself against the slanders
in the anonymous leaflet, and showed him exactly how and why they were
gross misrepresentations of the facts. For example, I was called a
“sexist” for pointing out the scientific fact that men score higher on
mathematical aptitude tests than women. What the slander sheet left out
was that I also said, women score higher than men on verbal aptitude
tests, and that I brought up these facts in defense of Harvard’s liberal
president, Larry Summers, who was under fire for stating them first. I
also described my public record as a civil rights activist, mentioned
the fact that I had three black grandchildren, and was probably the only
conservative in the country to defend Trayvon Martin during the trial
of his killer George Zimmerman.
The Dartmouth reporter Andrew
Culver failed to print a single word of my interview. Instead he opened
his article by repeating the lies in the leaflet – namely that I was a
racist, a sexist and a bigot. Culver’s mis-reporting of the event closed
off the possibility that anyone in the Dartmouth community at large
would be exposed to anything I had actually said. Only the slanders
would remain. This is the state of education at a once admired Ivy
League institution, where students can go four years without
encountering a conservative adult. Moreover, if one is invited to campus
to speak, he will be drowned out by students who shouldn’t be in
college in the first place.
You had no personal role in these
travesties, but you are president of the institution that made them
possible. I’m not going to ask you to have your “Office of Pluralism
(how Orwellian is that)” sponsor a return visit from me, since it might
well provoke a faculty riot. I just want you to think about these signs
of a damaged institution. and the warping of the educational experiences
of your students.
I would like an apology from you on behalf
of the Dartmouth community. I would also like to see some instruction
from you to your staff on the importance of promoting educational values
rather than encouraging close-minded political bigotry at your school.
Perhaps hiring a dozen or so conservative administrators might help.
Sincerely,
David Horowitz

ANTI-SEMITIC LEFTIST HATEFEST GREETS TRUMP IN PITTSBURGH AT SYNAGOGUE WHERE SHOOTINGS TOOK PLACE

ANTI-SEMITIC LEFTIST HATEFEST GREETS TRUMP
IN PITTSBURGH
Anti-Israel activists exploit the murder of 11 Jews to attack the president and police officers.
BY DANIEL GREENFIELD
republished below in full unedited for informational, educational and research purposes:

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at
the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing
on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism.

As President Trump arrived in Squirrel Hill to pay his respects to
the 11 Jews brutally murdered in the Tree of Life synagogue, If Not Now,
a leftist anti-Israel hate group notorious for targeting Jewish
charities, unleashed an ugly hatefest that defiled the solemnity of the
day.

Keffiyahs, a symbol of Muslim anti-Semitic violence, SEIU
shirts and multicolored wigs were visible in the mob. A handful of
protesters misused ‘shofars’, a religious ritual item sounded on the
holiest Jewish days of the year, and not meant to be desecrated in
street protests. Despite attempts to appropriate Jewishness, there was
nothing Jewish about the ugly hatred and exploitation of murdered Jews.

Even
though three police officers had risked their lives and were wounded
trying to stop the gunman, the If Not Now flyer for the event condemned
the “police state” and touted the black supremacist hate group, Black
Lives Matter, alongside Free Palestine. An If Not Now speaker bizarrely
bleated, “More cops in shuls will not make us safer. More cops in
schools will not make us safer.”
Where were If Not Now members while the officers, Daniel Mead, Michael Smidga, Anthony Burke and Timothy Matson, were being shot at
in the Tree of Life synagogue? Blogging about intersectionality?
Tweeting anti-Israel memes? Plotting their next hate rally targeting
police officers and Israeli soldiers?
When the shooting was
over and it was safe, they convened a hateful rally to attack Jews,
Israel, Trump and the very police officers who had saved lives and
stopped the rampage of a murderous gunman.
Batya Ungar-Sargon with The Forward,
an anti-Israel leftist paper, claimed that the protesters, rather than
Rabbi Jeffrey Myers of the Tree of Life synagogue who graciously
welcomed the president, represented, “who the majority of American Jews
are”.
If Not Now represents Jews the same way that Robert
Bowers, the Tree of Life gunman, represents Americans. It’s a marginal
hate group, animated by its animosity to the Jewish State and to
Jewishness. A leading If Not Now figure, Rafael Shimunov, had even used The Forward to defend a leftist Washington D.C. politician who had accused Jews of controlling the weather.
Many of the marchers exploiting the murder of Jews, and claiming to speak for Jews, weren’t Jewish.
Putting the lie to Ungar-Sargon’s Forward fake news, the Pittsburgh City Paper noted
that, “participants at the event were from a diverse background,
including members of several progressive groups, residents of all races,
and Latino and Black activists.”
“Queer Catholic Protects Jews: End White Supremacy,” one sign read.
“We are here to send the message today that we don’t want you here,” Monica Ruiz of Casa San Jose ranted. “Trump, you are not a good neighbor.”
Casa San Jose is a Latino activist group defending illegal aliens.

Tracy Baton, the African-American director of the Women’s March,
denounced Trump for inserting politics, “into a city in mourning, before
the dead are buried, is unacceptable.”
Except that was the
entire purpose of the rally, which even ended with a call to vote in the
midterm elections. It was a power grab by marginal groups and a vile
attack on a president paying a condolence call. While the president was
laying flowers at makeshift memorials, a leftist mob was screaming hate.
And Baton was cynically appropriating Jewish pain while representing an anti-Semitic hate group.
The Women’s March leadership had become notorious for anti-Semitic rhetoric by Linda Sarsour and Tamika Mallory.
Both women are supporters of Louis Farrakhan who had praised Hitler and compared Jews to termites.
Sarsour had urged Muslims to dehumanize Jews, and Tamika Mallory had responded to Jewish protests against her support for Farrakhan by tweeting,
“If your leader does not have the same enemies as Jesus, they may not
be THE leader!”  Then she targeted the ADL over its criticism of her
anti-Semitism.
Baton had appeared with Tamika Mallory.

If there’s anything more inappropriate than a protest rally before the
dead are buried, it’s an anti-Semitic hate group hijacking murdered
Jews for its own political agenda.

One of the few “Jewish” speakers at the hate mob was Diana Clarke,
an organizer for the If Now Now hate group. When Clarke isn’t disrupting
condolence calls for the Jewish dead, she is researching the evils of
the Jews. Namely, “the way Ashkenazi Jews accessed whiteness by
participating in the white settlement of Native lands and violence
towards Native people.”
No doubt the hate group activist
trolling a condolence call for the dead has plenty of insights into how
the “Ashkenazi Jews” murdered at Tree of Life “accessed whiteness” as
they were being murdered by a white supremacist.
Clarke also
appeared to have signed on to a letter by an anti-Semitic hate group
calling for a boycott of Jewish Israeli theater.
Also there
was Arielle Cohen, the surly co-chair of the Pittsburgh chapter of the
Democratic Socialists of America, who is also associated with the If Not
Now hate group.
The DSA has supported at least one openly anti-Semitic candidate, Maria Estrada, a Farrakhan supporter,
who had accused Jews of committing atrocities out of the belief that as
“one of ‘God’s chosen people'” they feel “superior and justified”. When
rebuked for her anti-Semitism, Maria told a Jewish Democrat, “try
keeping your party, your religion and your people in check”.
The DSA’s 2017 convention featured representatives of anti-Semitic European leftists,
including Jeremy Corbyn in the UK and France’s Jean-Luc Mélenchon, a
Holocaust denier. The Mélenchon issue offended even some of the DSA’s
Jewish collaborators. But it didn’t stop them from continuing to
collude.
The If Not Now march joined forces with another march
by Bend the Arc. The media had initially misreported a statement by the
leftist group that President Trump was not welcome in Pittsburgh as a
declaration by “Jewish leaders”. In reality, Bend the Arc is headed by Stosh Cotler, an anti-Israel activist and former sex club dancer. Its PAC was set up by the son of George Soros

It was only fitting that the few Jewish participants in this deranged
hatefest would be far more anti-Semitic than its non-Jewish
participants. Jews who participate in anti-Semitic movements invariably
feel the need to demonstrate that they belong by being more anti-Semitic
than their non-Jewish peers.
The bizarre freakshow finally concluded at the Sixth Presbyterian Church, its ending every bit as Jewish as its beginning.
As President Trump arrived at the Tree of Life synagogue, Rev. Susan Rothenberg, a Presbyterian minister (pictured above), began screaming, “You are not welcome here!”
The Presbyterian Church has become notorious for its support of BDS and its affinity for anti-Semitic terrorist groups.
Earlier this year,
the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh had cut ties with the
Pittsburgh Theological Seminary for hosting a co-founder of the Sabeel Ecumenical Liberation Theology Center whose rhetoric was “theologically loaded” with anti-Semitism.
In an example of Sabeel anti-Semitism cited by the ADL, was the blood libel that,
“Jesus is on the cross again with thousands of crucified Palestinians
around him…The Israeli government crucifixion system is operating
daily.”
The Sixth Presbyterian Church has welcomed BDS events
targeting the Jewish State, including appearances by Sabeel speakers. It
has advocated for BDS. Just this year, it promoted a boycott of HP over
its ties to the Jewish State.
And so a march, supposedly against anti-Semitism, featuring an anti-Semitic hate group, wrapped up at an anti-Semitic church.
It couldn’t have been a more fitting end to a disgraceful orgy of leftist hatred.
This was not, as its participants insisted, a vigil. It did not mourn, it hated.

There was nothing Jewish about it, despite the disgraceful attempt to
misappropriate Jewish phrases and rituals for political purposes. If Not
Now activists rallied the crowd to sing, “Olam Chesed Yibaneh”, but
ignorantly mistranslated, “Chesed” as “Love”.
They stepped
over the bodies of dead Jews to lead a mob of anti-Semitic lefties to
serve an anti-Semitic agenda. And they ended their orgy of hate at an
anti-Semitic church.
“This evil, anti-Semitic attack is an
assault on all of us. It is an assault on humanity. It must be
confronted and condemned everywhere it rears its ugly head. We must
stand with our Jewish brothers and sisters to defeat anti-Semitism and
vanquish the forces of hate. Those seeking their destruction, we will
seek their destruction,” President Trump said.
The hateful rally that greeted him is a reminder that those hateful anti-Semitic forces are everywhere.

There are badly timed product rollouts. And then there are really badly timed product rollouts. As the mass shooting at a synagogue in Squirrel Hill has touched off a nationwide debate about anti-Semitism, an ice cream company decided that it was the perfect time to roll out a flavor celebrating its affiliation with an anti-Semitic hate group.
With ice cream company Ben & Jerry’s announcement on Tuesday showcasing a new flavor to help support groups “fighting President Trump’s regressive agenda,” the company revealed that they recently partnered with the Women’s March organization.
That would be the same Women’s March whose leaders have trafficked in anti-Semitism and endorsed Farrakhan, a racist black nationalist leader, who praised Hitler and compared Jews to termites.
No one, however, expected to discover that three Women’s March co-chairs—Linda Sarsour, Carmen Perez, and Tamika Mallory—had ties to Farrakhan. More mysterious and disturbing was the extended reluctance of the Women’s March, nearly a year since it became public, to acknowledge Farrakhan’s extremist views and disassociate themselves from them.
It all came to a head last week, after Farrakhan delivered his address to the annual Nation of Islam gathering for Saviours’ Day, the sect’s three-day holiday honoring its founder, Wallace Fard Muhammad. Farrakhan denounced “Satanic Jews,” said that “when you want something in this world, the Jew holds the door,” and at the climax of his speech, proclaimed, “White folks are going down, and Satan is going down, and Farrakhan by God’s grace has pulled the cover off of that Satanic Jew—and I’m here to say, your time is up.”
When you think of Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream… think of Satanic Jews.
Naturally, this renewed interest in just what the Women’s March was thinking. Mallory further stoked controversy when a woman questioning her about Farrakhan’s anti-Semitism drew a response from a preacher asking her to condemn Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and praying for Jesus to cast out the “wicked spirit laying on her heart.” Linda Sarsour surfaced to say the man was “too blessed,” and Mallory tweeted, “If your leader does not have the same enemies as Jesus, they may not be THE leader!”
Then Mallory went after the ADL. And Starbucks chose the racists of the Women’s March over the ADL.
Eric Holder, who has posed with Farrakhan, and was working with Starbucks at the time, may have had something to do with that. But now a new trendy corporation is climbing into the Farrakhan sewer.
When asked directly about the Women’s March close ties to Farrakhan, a spokeswoman for Ben & Jerry’s told IJR they may not agree with all the groups they partner with, but they are “comfortable” with having different views, even “controversial” ones:
“We’re comfortable with the idea that the people and the causes we partner with may have a point of view different from our own on some issues. They can be controversial, just as we can. Linda may not agree with everything we’ve done. But the work that she has done to promote women’s rights, as co-chair of the Women’s March, is undeniably important and we are proud to join her in that effort.”
I can’t wait for Coconut Hitler brand Ben and Jerry’s ice cream, which disavows the whole murdering people thing, but recognizes his achievements in making the trains run on time.

POLICE STATE NEW JERSEY: FEMINIST GOVERNOR MURPHY COVERED FOR MUSLIM OUTREACH AIDE ACCUSED OF RAPE WHILE CLAIMING TO BE PRO WOMEN

FEMINIST GOVERNOR COVERED FOR MUSLIM OUTREACH AIDE ACCUSED OF RAPE

“Donald Trump represents a historic threat to women everywhere.”

BY DANIEL GREENFIELD

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism.
“Donald Trump represents a historic threat to women everywhere,” Phil Murphy had declared.
Murphy was running for governor of New Jersey against a Republican woman. And he had decided to fully back the Women’s March, a rally of radical leftists led by Farrakhan supporters, one of whom, Linda Sarsour, had been accused of covering up sexual abuse and harassment in her old workplace.
“Women aren’t afraid to fight back — and neither am I,” bragged the leftist Democrat. “I’ll fight to stop sexual harassment and assault.”
3 months later, Al Alvarez, a top Murphy aide, originally in charge of Muslim and Latino outreach, allegedly tried to rape one of the feminist candidate’s campaign volunteers.
According to Katie Brennan’s account, the Murphy aide got into her home by claiming that he needed to use the bathroom. He then forced her down on a couch, partially undressed her, undressed, groped her and tried to rape her. Brennan fled into the bathroom, locked the door and called her husband.
She went to the police, was evaluated for sexual assault, and waited for prosecutors to do their job.
A recent Wall Street Journal expose revealed that top Murphy officials, including his chief of staff, were aware of the allegations against Alvarez. Murphy won the governor’s race and, according to his communications director, “Mr. Alvarez received an offer of employment in state government.”
Meanwhile, the Murphy team was touting its feminist credentials.
“For the first time in New Jersey’s 242 years, the majority of a Governor’s Cabinet appointments are female,” Governor Murphy boasted. “While it has taken too long to get to this first, I am proud to stand with this diverse group of leaders, all of whom are committed to building a stronger, fairer New Jersey that works for everyone.”
Everyone except the women sexually assaulted by Murphy staffers.
Katie Brennan was offered $15,000 and a non-disclosure agreement. She had repeatedly contacted the campaign about Alvarez. In June, she directly emailed Phil and Tammy Murphy.
Earlier this year, Tammy, New Jersey’s new First Lady, had appeared at the Garden State’s edition of the Women’s March to discuss her own alleged sexual assault as a college student.
According to Tammy Murphy, her assailant had tried to undress her, much as Alvarez allegedly had, and tried to silence her by stuffing an apple in her mouth. “If there has been a silver lining in the past year, it is in the thousands upon thousands of women who have found their voices to fight back. We will no longer accept the actions of men who believe they hold power over us, or our bodies,” she tweeted.
Except that her husband’s administration not only accepted Alvarez’s actions, it went on paying him.
And after the Wall Street Journal expose, Tammy lent her name to her husband for a joint statement full of damage control legalese. “We are confident that this allegation was handled appropriately by the administration and that current policies and procedures were properly and promptly followed,” it said.
Tammy had gone from, “we will no longer accept” to “this allegation was handled appropriately.”
After Katie wrote to Governor Murphy, the New Jersey Dem responded with, “Hang in. We are on it.”
Almost half a year later, Katie grew tired of ‘hanging in’ and began talking to the media. Only then did Alvarez resign from his job as chief of staff of the New Jersey Schools Development Authority.
Murphy had accused President Trump of being a “historic threat to women everywhere”, and allegedly guilty of “sexual harassment and assault”, but it was the lefty Democrat pol with a walking smirk who was the one who had failed to take action against an accused rapist operating within his campaign and then his government. This potentially put women working for both his campaign and government at risk.
At September’s end, Governor Murphy threw a tantrum over the Kavanaugh hearings. He praised the “extraordinary courage” of Christine Blasey Ford for coming forward while ignoring one of his own people who had come forward with a clear and much more recent story of sexual assault.
“The presumption that you’re guilty as a woman who raises her hand and says something happened to me ought to have all of our hair on fire,” Governor Murphy ranted. “It angers me deeply.”
Murphy had known for a long time now about Alvarez, yet he hypocritically demanded that Kavanaugh, “ought to just pack up and leave town.”
The only reason Alvarez had to pack up is that the Wall Street Journal did what Murphy wouldn’t.
Alvarez’s case is the third time that one of Murphy’s aides embedded in New Jersey’s notoriously corrupt educratic complex got him into trouble.
Murphy had hired Marcellus Jackson, a former Passaic councilman convicted of attempted extortion and sentenced to 25 months in prison, to work for the Department of Education.
After admitting his guilt, Jackson had declared, “I shall return.” And return he did to a $70,000 job.
Governor Murphy tried to defend this grotesque abuse of power by playing the race card.
“It is invariably a person of color we’re talking about. This is New Jersey. It’s 2018. We have to get over ourselves,” he whined. “We have to get to a better place and give folks — Marcellus and generations to come — a second chance.”
The “person of color” in question was a corrupt politician who had taken bribes to steer contracts.
Murphy also claimed that the information that Jackson was a convicted criminal had failed to come up during the legal review, and only somehow came to light later.
All they had to do was use Google.
Stories about Jackson’s conviction had appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post and countless local newspapers.
Then an aide was suspended for posting that the Trump administration consisted of “evangelical a—s”, and “molesters, liars, drunks, racists, heartless, bigots”.
Part of that rant seemed like a more accurate assessment of the Murphy administration.
Murphy, a smirking former Goldman Sachs executive, had picked up an ambassadorship to Germany, and had been named as the “largest personal giver to all federal candidates among nominees to date”. Personally backed by Obama, he had also served as the DNC’s finance committee chair.
Since seizing the governorship, the Murphy regime has ricocheted from one scandal to another.
Planned Parenthood had billed Murphy as “the candidate for women”. And Murphy had returned the favor by basing his claim that Trump posed a “historic threat to women” on Planned Parenthood.
It wasn’t the first time that Planned Parenthood had crawled into bed with dangerous politicians.
Planned Parenthood had backed Senator Al Franken, San Diego Mayor Bob Filner, Rep. Keith Ellison, New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman , Senator Ted Kennedy, President Bill Clinton and other alleged rapists, gropers and abusers of women. Its promise that a politician will fight for women is more often a threat. But Planned Parenthood made just that promise about Governor Phil Murphy.
“New Jersey women need a governor who will stand strong to protect them,” the abortion group wheedled.
But Phil Murphy didn’t protect women. He allowed his Muslim and Latino outreach aide to continue working for him, on the campaign and in the government, despite a rape accusation.
He didn’t protect Katie Brennan. And he didn’t protect Madison Wells.
The 16-year-old girl was stabbed to death by a Guatemalan illegal alien last month. Governor Murphy had declared, “We will stand up to this president. If need be, we will be a sanctuary not just city but state.” New Jersey became a sanctuary state. And a teenage girl lost her life. Others were raped.
Murphy accused Trump of representing a “historic threat to women”. There’s nothing historic about Murphy’s threat to women. It’s the same old threat of leftist politics which reduces the rights of women to the right to a speedy abortion after being raped by one of Murphy’s aides or one of his illegal aliens.

KAVANAUGH’S CONFIRMATION THWARTS MOB RULE, FOR NOW

KAVANAUGH’S CONFIRMATION THWARTS MOB RULE

For now….

BY JOSEPH KLEIN
republished below in full unedited for informational, educational and research purposes:
Mob rule came very close to subverting America’s democratic constitutional republic. Fortunately for the country’s sake, enough brave members of the United States Senate faced down the mob’s intimidation tactics this time. They restored reason, justice and ordered liberty in confirming Brett Kavanaugh to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court after he had to endure weeks of character assassination. The unleashed mob had attempted to obstruct the whole process of Senate “advice and consent,” egged on by some irresponsible Democrat senators. Leftwing Alinskyite agitators yelled from the Senate galleries, staged disruptive demonstrations in the halls of the Senate, and stalked senators at their offices, restaurants, the airport and even at their homes.
After failing to get their way, some leftwing protesters clawed at the locked doors of the Supreme Court building as Justice Kavanaugh was being sworn in, shouting “shut it down.” Some Democrats in the House of Representatives are threatening impeachment proceedings against Justice Kavanaugh if they take control of the House. These Democrats would seek to perform their own do-over of the Senate confirmation proceedings in the House under the guise of an “impeachment” proceeding. They would be plowing over the same charges that the Senate had already decided were not sufficiently proven to prevent the one congressional body authorized by the Constitution to provide its “advice and consent” from confirming Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court nomination.
In short, in opposing Justice Kavanaugh, the deranged left is literally attacking the core institutions and constitutional structure of our nation’s republic that help to secure the rule of law.
The Founding Fathers recognized the threat posed by mob rule and built safeguards against it into the Constitution. James Madison wrote in Federalist No. 63 that “there are particular moments in public affairs when the people, stimulated by some irregular passion, or some illicit advantage, or misled by the artful misrepresentations of interested men, may call for measures which they themselves will afterwards be the most ready to lament and condemn. In these critical moments, how salutary will be the interference of some temperate and respectable body of citizens, in order to…suspend the blow meditated by the people against themselves, until reason, justice, and truth can regain their authority over the public mind?” The Founding Fathers viewed the Senate as one such “temperate and respectable body.” As James Madison commented at the Constitutional Convention, the “use of the Senate is to consist in its proceeding with more coolness, with more system, and with more wisdom, than the popular branch” of the Congress.
The Founding Fathers would have been appalled at the level of dysfunction wrought by the Senate Democrats’ dirty tricks, dishonesty and poisonous rhetoric during what should have been a solemn deliberative process.
In Federalist No. 71, Alexander Hamilton warned against “unqualified complaisance to every sudden breeze of passion, or to every transient impulse which the people may receive from the arts of men, who flatter their prejudices to betray their interests.” He observed that “the people commonly INTEND the PUBLIC GOOD.” (Emphasis in the original) However, Mr. Hamilton also recognized how passions of the moment can be readily manipulated against the peoples’ own better sense of their interests. For that reason, he wrote, “it is the duty of the persons whom they have appointed to be the guardians of those interests, to withstand the temporary delusion, in order to give them time and opportunity for more cool and sedate reflection.” Mr. Hamilton went on to laud the “courage” of such guardians who “saved the people from very fatal consequences of their own mistakes…at the peril of their displeasure."
Senator Susan Collins (R-Maine, pictured above) displayed such courage in resisting the passions of the mob, including intimidation, to vote for Justice Kavanaugh’s confirmation. In a speech she delivered on the Senate floor the day before the final vote, Senator Collins lamented “a confirmation process that has become so dysfunctional it looks more like a caricature of a gutter-level political campaign than a solemn occasion.” She carefully laid out the reasoning underlying her decision to vote for Justice Kavanaugh’s confirmation, including an analysis of his judicial record. As to the uncorroborated allegations against Justice Kavanaugh of sexual assault, Senator Collins focused her attention on the fundamental legal principles of “due process, the presumption of innocence, and fairness.”
Channeling James Madison and Alexander Hamilton, Senator Collins declared, “We must always remember that it is when passions are most inflamed that fairness is most in jeopardy.” She said that the “presumption of innocence is relevant to the advice and consent function when an accusation departs from a nominee’s otherwise exemplary record. I worry that departing from this presumption could lead to a lack of public faith in the judiciary and would be hugely damaging to the confirmation process moving forward.” While Senator Collins credited Dr. Christine Blasey Ford’s testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee as being “sincere, painful, and compelling,” Senator Collins painstakingly reviewed both the lack of corroborating evidence for Dr. Ford’s charges and several further questions raised by her own testimony. After applying the lowest burden of proof test, the “more likely than not” standard, Senator Collins concluded that Dr. Ford’s charges leveled specifically against Justice Kavanaugh did not satisfy even that low level of burden of proof.
Weeks prior to the final confirmation vote, Senator Collins’ office had reported receiving threats of rape and other acts of violence against her staff from leftist opponents of Judge Kavanaugh. After Senator Collins delivered her speech explaining her rationale for voting in favor of Judge Kavanaugh, the enemies of the newly confirmed justice did not address Senator Collins’ thoughtful arguments on the merits. Instead, they hurled ugly epithets at her. The Women’s March, for example, called Senator Collins a “rape apologist.” The radical Women’s March leader and anti-Israel, Sharia-loving activist, Linda Sarsour, accused “white woman” Senator Collins of being “a traitor to women and marginalized communities.” The senator displayed “white supremacy live on the Senate Floor,” according to Sarsour, who added, “History will not treat her kindly.”
Sarsour is a women’s rights poseur whose only place in history, if she has one at all, will be in a footnote describing her as a leader of the mob that unsuccessfully tried to prevent the confirmation of a great Supreme Court justice.
Planned Parenthood’s political arm accused Senator Collins of siding with those “who disbelieve, disrespect and even mock survivors” of sexual assault. Such polemics against Senator Collins are at complete odds with what the senator actually said in her speech about the survivors of sexual assault: “Every person—man or woman—who makes a charge of sexual assault deserves to be heard and treated with respect. The #MeToo movement is real. It matters. It is needed. And it is long overdue… We must listen to survivors, and every day we must seek to stop the criminal behavior that has hurt so many. We owe this to ourselves, our children, and generations to come.”
Is Planned Parenthood, which gave Senator Collins an award last November for her work on protecting reproductive rights, now calling the senator a liar when she says she does care about and respect the survivors of sexual assault? Does this pro-abortion group assume that one can only show such care and respect by unquestionably believing all accusations of sexual assault alleged by all women, even if they are lodged without a shred of corroborating evidence? Apparently so.
The usual Hollywood celebrities added their two cents worth on Senator Collins’ decision to vote for Justice Kavanaugh’s confirmation. Saturday Night Live’s Trump impersonator Alec Baldwin, for example, said, “How sharper than a serpent’s tooth it is to have a female US Senator who says f*** you to all American women…” That’s rich, coming from a man with his own history of anger management issues involving women.
Actress Molly Ringwald tweeted, “Susan Collins you are a betrayer of women.” The conceit of Ms. Ringwald and her radical feminist cohorts is that they presume to speak for all women. Their treatment of women as a monolithic group with a herd mentality that leads them in only one progressive political direction is the height of sexism.
Comedian Kathy Griffin, who held up a picture of President Trump’s severed head last year, tweeted in reaction to Senator Collins’ decision: “F******* YOUUUUUU.” This progressive political “commentator” must be auditioning for a place in the leftists’ hall of fame.
Peaceful protests and expressions of dissent are protected by the First Amendment. That includes the remarks of empty-headed, self-important celebrities, who are just a side show. However, the left’s tactics of disruption, intimidation, lies, weaponization of unproven accusations and incitement to violence threaten to lead us down the road to a second civil war. If Democrats regain control of the House of Representatives and seek to fan the flames of anger over Justice Kavanaugh’s confirmation by threatening to reverse the Senate's exercise of its unique constitutional "advice and consent" authority under the guise of impeachment, the Democrats will be complicit in the left’s agenda to destroy America as we know it.

As author and terrorism expert Steven Emerson puts it, ISNA “grew out of the Muslim Students Association, which also was founded by Brotherhood members.” Indeed, Muslim Brothers would dominate ISNA’s leadership throughout the Society’s early years. Striving “to advance the cause of Islam and serve Muslims in North America so as to enable them to adopt Islam as a complete way of life,” ISNA was highly dependent upon Saudi funding during its early years.” — from Discover the Networks

No surprise here. The Left, and the Democrat Party, have been moving away from support of Israel for years. And for a Muslim to hate Israel is simply in accord with Qur’anic anti-Semitism. The Qur’an depicts the Jews as inveterately evil and bent on destroying the well-being of the Muslims. They are the strongest of all people in enmity toward the Muslims (5:82); they fabricate things and falsely ascribe them to Allah (2:79; 3:75, 3:181); they claim that Allah’s power is limited (5:64); they love to listen to lies (5:41); they disobey Allah and never observe his commands (5:13). They are disputing and quarreling (2:247); hiding the truth and misleading people (3:78); staging rebellion against the prophets and rejecting their guidance (2:55); being hypocritical (2:14, 2:44); giving preference to their own interests over the teachings of Muhammad (2:87); wishing evil for people and trying to mislead them (2:109); feeling pain when others are happy or fortunate (3:120); being arrogant about their being Allah’s beloved people (5:18); devouring people’s wealth by subterfuge (4:161); slandering the true religion and being cursed by Allah (4:46); killing the prophets (2:61); being merciless and heartless (2:74); never keeping their promises or fulfilling their words (2:100); being unrestrained in committing sins (5:79); being cowardly (59:13-14); being miserly (4:53); being transformed into apes and pigs for breaking the Sabbath (2:63-65; 5:59-60; 7:166); and more. They are under Allah’s curse (9:30), and Muslims should wage war against them and subjugate them under Islamic hegemony (9:29).

Democrat Rashida Tlaib, winner of her party’s primary in Michigan’s 13th congressional district, celebrated her win last week with a series of anti-Israel tweets.
Tlaib, who is Palestinian-American, will become the country’s first female Muslim member of Congress next year. She is running unopposed in November.
On Thursday, as Hamas rockets rained down on Israeli civilians, Tlaib attacked Israel indirectly on Twitter:

Growing up in Detroit taught me better than to stand by as people’s rights are violated. My roots as a Palestinian American are strong and important. I believe every human being deserves to live with dignity.

We cannot allow American foreign aid to be used to violate the human rights of people of any race, nation, or ethnicity. I will not fund or stand by silently when there is injustice.

…She has come under criticism for her previous anti-Israel statements. She criticizedSen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), for example, for meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whom Tlaib accused of “racism.” And, according to the Algemeiner, she supported Palestinian terrorist Rasmea Odeh in her bid to fight deportation for lying to U.S. immigration officials about her past.

ANTI GUN “NATIONAL SCHOOL WALKOUT” DUPED STUDENTS, FAMILIES

ANTI GUN “NATIONAL SCHOOL WALKOUT” DUPED STUDENTS, FAMILIES
BY ALEX NEWMAN
SEE: https://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/crime/item/28508-anti-gun-national-school-walkout-duped-students-familiesrepublished below in full unedited for informational, educational, and research purposes:

Before the events, organizers and establishment propaganda outlets often painted the so-called National School Walkout on March 14 as an event to honor the victims of last month’s school shooting in Parkland, Florida. But the real agenda — at least of the establishment billionaires, leftists, and globalists behind the operation— was to promote more infringements on the unalienable right of Americans to keep and bear arms. In fact, one of the leading student voices endlessly hyped by CNN even called publicly for “Revolution.” And thousands of naive students across America were duped into participating by well-funded political operatives with no compunctions about exploiting children to advance an anti-constitutional agenda. The truth and the facts, meanwhile — including the counter-protests by pro-gun students — were carefully concealed.
According to establishment media outlets that promoted the National School Walkout, it was a major success. It was not immediately clear how many schools or students participated, but the vague term “thousands” or “tens of thousands” was parroted ad nauseam in the left-wing press. Apparently, students left their classrooms at 10 a.m., sometimes with support and prodding from school administrators, and went out into parking lots or other areas to hold up signs demanding that their constitutionally protected rights be further curtailed. “Hey hey, ho ho, gun violence has got to go,” they chanted, with the implication being that the right to keep and bear arms somehow causes “gun violence.”
Apparently, nobody told them that America, with 300 million guns in private hands, is an oasis of peace compared to many nations where law-abiding citizens have been disarmed by government. Indeed, as Managing Editor Kurt Williamsen of The New American explained in a devastating critique of the idea that gun control would reduce violence, restricting the rights of law-abiding citizens is likely to backfire catastrophically — assuming the goal is, actually, to reduce crime and violence. “Besides wishful thinking, there is no reason to believe that more gun-control laws will lessen murder and violent-crime rates in the United States, including lessening mass shootings,” he noted after providing a barrage of data.
In fact, many of the most violent societies on earth, including Mexico just south of the U.S. border, have essentially banned civilian firearm ownership entirely. Venezuela, which disarmed citizens with United Nations support, is now the murder capital of the world. Plus, the murderous regime there is now free to oppress, murder, and brutalize the disarmed public at will. In Communist China, which is also promoting gun control in America, more than 60 million disarmed victims have been murdered by the regime. And two of the worst mass shootings in history — 77 children slaughtered in Norway, and over 500 casualties in France — occurred under some of the most oppressive gun-control regimes on the planet. Both ended only when armed men with guns showed up to stop the massacres.
Aside from hiding facts about guns and violence, the establishment media also worked hard to conceal the total AstroTurf nature of the supposed “student” protests. As The New American documented on March 13, some of the biggest and most well-funded establishment outfits — many funded by radical billionaires such as George Soros and Michael Bloomberg — have been providing money, organization, logistics, buses, public relations help, and so much more from the start. Ironically, far-left groups such as MoveOn, funded by globalist and self-styled “god” Soros, were even boasting publicly that they were “leading” some of these efforts.
The March 14 events were actually organized by “Women’s March Youth Empower,” which is part of the extremist “Women’s March” that organized widely ridiculed anti-Trump protests in D.C. last year. “Our elected officials must do more than tweet thoughts and prayers in response to this violence,” the fringe outfit said on its website. The network, which lobbies for slaughtering preborn babies and open borders, also gave the children it was exploiting a list of “demands” for lawmakers. Among them: a ban on “assault weapons” (semi-automatic rifles) and “universal background checks,” a scheme that would facilitate the creation of a national gun registry to make eventual confiscation possible.
Among the leaders of the “Women’s March” behind the protests is Islamist Linda Sarsour, a radical Muslim who openly promotes Sharia law for America. “You’ll know when you’re living under Sharia Law if suddenly all your loans & credit cards become interest free,” she wrote on social media. “Sound nice, doesn’t it?” Sharia also demands the death penalty for homosexuals, Muslims who become Christians, blasphemy, and much more. She is also widely reported to have links to terrorist groups such as Hamas.
Sponsors of the “Women’s March” include tax-funded Planned Parenthood, which butchers more preborn children every few days than die by firearms in an average year. The Communist Party USA, for decades a tentacle of the mass-murdering Soviet regime, is also listed as a partner. A broad range of other totalitarian extremist, and murderous organizations partner with the schemes, too. And yet, the media was nowhere to be found in exposing information that is publicly available right on the Women’s March website.
Further deception involved duping well-meaning citizens into believing the school walkout events were supposed to honor the victims — not exploit their tragic deaths to push civilian disarmament. Eagle Forum was one of the organizations sounding the alarm. “This walkout is about passing more gun control measures; but sadly organizers are trying to mislead students and families to think that this event is simply a time to honor victims,” Eagle Forum President Eunie Smith said in an e-mail to group members. “This walkout is being presented to many Student Government Association leaders and administrators as a 17 minute memorial to the 17 Parkland students who were killed while they were defenseless in their public school.”
But obviously, that is not how the establishment media handled it on the day of the events. In fact, much of the left-wing press could barely contain its excitement in hyping the marches supposedly favoring gun control. Some especially outrageous outlets openly supported the walkouts. Media conglomerate Viacom, reportedly even paused programming for the 17 minutes of the walkout on all of its networks, including MTV and BET. Others kept it at the top of the headlines all day.
Some of the local media coverage, though, was more honest and responsible, with local reporters on the ground not reading from the same script as the establishment’s primary propaganda organs. And some of the students who participated and were quoted in local media clearly were not onboard with the radical jihad against the Second Amendment. “I feel it’s important not only to get better protection in our schools, but I feel it’s important to remember the 17 people who lost their lives,” said Wesley Savage, a high-school junior who was quoted in local reports about the events in Philadelphia.
Indeed, one would never know it from the dishonest coverage by the national media, but there were even counter protests defending the Second Amendment. According to a local CBS affiliate, “about a dozen students held a counter-protest, defending the Second Amendment.” Apparently, the students refused to comment after their own walkout, perhaps realizing that the media in the United States — among the least trusted institution in America in polls — has a penchant for brazen dishonesty. Most media outlets simply ignored the pro-gun students, including those who attend the school that was shot up last month in Florida. Breitbart highlighted five major lies pushed by the establishment surrounding the walkout.
But the facts did not stop Democrats and gun-grabbing globalists from claiming all the students as their own. “They did it in remembrance of the 17 innocent lives that we lost at Stoneman Douglas and to call for gun legislation that will make us all safer,” claimed the Democratic National Committee, urging supporters to sign a petition for “common-sense” infringements on the right to keep and bear arms. “With today’s walkout, we not only honor those who were lost — we also come together with new resolve to end these tragedies once and for all. I will not allow my high school to simply become another statistic, and Stoneman Douglas students are leading the fight to ensure that it does not.”
Of course, that is simply not true, as this magazine reported — the “students” are not leading anything, but most are being exploited by nefarious special interests who are determined to disarm Americans. In fact, the naive children are being organized, funded, guided, and manipulated by hard-core leftists, Islamists, and others. “The only way to actually make us safer from gun violence is by voting Republicans out,” the DNC continued, as if disarming law-abiding citizens would keep anyone safer except the criminals and mass murderers who already flaunt much more serious laws.
It’s not clear how much of an effect the AstroTurf protests will have on policy, if any. But by exploiting traumatized children and grieving parents who were duped into blaming gun rights — and ignoring those who recognize the absurdity and falsehoods of the gun-control argument — the gun-control lobby has made some progress already. In Florida, despite being governed by Republicans, anti-gun forces were able to pass some infringements by pairing them with a plan to arm certain faculty members at school — the latter, an idea with widespread support among law enforcement and conservatives who recognize that 98 percent of mass shootings have occurred in “gun-free” zones. In Illinois, lawmakers are working on a plan that would confiscate legally purchased guns from adults under age 21. And Congress is plotting various infringements, too.
For the sake of the unalienable rights enshrined in the U.S. Constitution’s Second Amendment, Americans must expose the lies of the media and the phony “student” activism being directed by sinister anti-American globalists. After all, gun rights are among the most crucial, because they guarantee all the rest of the rights listed in the Constitution, in addition to providing safety and national security benefits that are so massive they are impossible to quantify. With globalists, communists, and Islamists united in their quest to disarm Americans, the American people must be united in defense of their liberties. The alternative, as history has shown clearly, is almost too horrifying to contemplate.

action. She said she objects to the forced hijab and considers it her
legal right to express her protest,” Hosseini’s lawyer, Nasrin Sotoudeh,
told the Center for Human Rights in Iran (CHRI) on February 5, 2018.

Hosseini, 32, has been in detention since January 29, 2018. She was
unable to pay the $135,000 USD bail set by the judge presiding over her
case.

She was arrested on January 29, 2018, for posting a photo on social
media of herself standing on a bench holding her white headscarf like a
flag on Tehran’s Revolution’s Street.

All women in Iran are required to cover their hair and bodies in public.

Vida Movahed was the first woman to be arrested after she did the
same thing in late December 2017 in Tehran. The act of removing your
headscarf in public and waving it like a flag has become a symbol for
the “Girls of Revolution Street” movement, which advocates choice over
compulsion for women’s clothing.

“Ms. Hosseini is being held in difficult circumstances in Gharchak
Prison [south of Tehran] but she is not prepared to say she is sorry,”
Sotoudeh, a prominent human rights lawyer, told CHRI. “She believes
she’s innocent.”

Hosseini is facing the charges of, “openly committing a harām
[sinful] act” and “violating public prudency” under Article 638 and
“encouraging immorality or prostitution” under Article 639.

According to Article 639 of Iran’s Islamic Penal Code, “The following
individuals shall be sentenced to one year to 10 years’ imprisonment… A
– Anyone who establishes or directs a place of immorality or
prostitution. B – Anyone who facilitates or encourages people to commit
immorality or prostitution.”

Article 638 states, “Anyone in public places and roads who openly
commits a harām [sinful] act, in addition to the punishment provided for
the act, shall be sentenced to two months’ imprisonment or up to 74
lashes; and if they commit an act that is not punishable but violates
public prudency, they shall only be sentenced to 10 days to two months’
imprisonment or up to 74 lashes.”

Hosseini’s lawyer also rejected a senior judicial official’s claim that her client is a drug addict….

HALEY DECLARES THAT U.N. IS ATTACKING AMERICA’S SOVEREIGNTY~TRUMP THREATENS TO CUT AID TO U.N. MEMBERS OVER JERUSALEM VOTE~U.N. LAUNCHES “MIG-APP” TO EMPOWER MIGRANTS

HALEY DECLARES THAT U.N. IS ATTACKING AMERICA’S SOVEREIGNTY

BY STEVE BYAS

“What we have witnessed here in the Security Council is an
insult. It won’t be forgotten,” said Nikki Haley, the U.S. ambassador to
the United Nations, in response to the decision of the UN Security
Council to force a vote on a resolution that challenged the decision of
the United States to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

All 15 members of the UN Security Council, except for the United
States, voted in favor of a resolution put forward by Egypt on Monday
that expressed “deep regret at recent decisions concerning the status of
Jerusalem.” The Egyptian-drafted resolution said “that any decisions
and actions which purport to have altered the character, status or
demographic composition of the Holy City of Jerusalem have no legal
effect, are null and void and must be rescinded in compliance with relevant resolutions of the Security Council.” (Emphasis added).

Haley took issue with the attempt by the Security Council to order
the United States to comply with a resolution that would dictate to
America where it placed its embassy in another country. “The fact that
this veto is being done in defense of American sovereignty and in
defense of America’s role in the Middle East peace process is not a
source of embarrassment for us; it should be an embarrassment to the
remainder of the Security Council.”

The Security Council is the most powerful part of the UN because it
is the group that can actually direct action to be taken in the name of
the UN. However, when the UN was formed in 1945, the charter of the UN
stipulated that any one of the five “permanent” members of the Security
Council — the United States, the Soviet Union, Great Britain, France,
and China — could veto any resolutions passed by the Council. This was
the first time in six years that the United States has exercised its
veto power.
Earlier this month, President Donald Trump fulfilled a campaign
pledge with his decision to move the American Embassy to Jerusalem,
which Israel has long considered its capital. Israeli Prime Minister
Benjamin Netanyahu went on his Facebook page to thank Trump and Haley
for the veto.
When Trump announced his intention to move the embassy from Tel Aviv
to Jerusalem, his decision was met with opposition from many world
leaders. Mahmoud Abbas, the president of the Palestinian Authority, was
particularly incensed because he has been hopeful that East Jerusalem
would be the capital of Palestinian state. He told Trump that the move
will have “dangerous consequences.”
The UN’s Middle East peace envoy, Nickolay Mladenov, cited some of
those “dangerous consequences” just before the vote on the resolution.
“The situation has become more tense with an increase in incidents,
notably rockets fired from Gaza and clashes between Palestinians and
Israeli security forces.”
Jerusalem was part of the Ottoman Empire from 1517 until that empire
was on the losing side of World War I. Beginning in the 1800s, Jews
began purchasing land in Palestine, and joining with the small number of
Jews still living there. Since about 1890, Jews became the majority in
Jerusalem. When the Turks lost the First World War, European nations
took some of the Ottoman Empire, with the British obtaining a mandate in
what was known as Palestine.
In 1948, Israel declared its independence, precipitating the first of
several wars with its Arab neighbors. In 1967, as a result of the
Six-Day War, Israel took over the eastern part of Jerusalem. In 1980,
Israel declared the city its capital. The U.S. Congress later passed a
law recognizing Jerusalem as its capital, but gave presidents the
authority to waive that recognition, declaring the waiver every six
months. Trump finally announced in early December that he would move our
embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, which Israel has controlled for 50
years.
Numerous resolutions of the UN General Assembly have denounced
Israel’s move to make Jerusalem its capital, though Jerusalem first
became the capital of Israel about 1,000 years before Christ, and it is
unlikely that Israel would ever give it up voluntarily. Thus, the
stalemate between Israel and its Arab neighbors over the issue is most
likely unresolvable.
During his 2012 campaign for president, Ron Paul stressed the issue
of national sovereignty when he was asked about the “Jerusalem
Question.” Paul replied, “The real issue here is not what America wants,
but what does Israel want. If Israel wants their capital to be
Jerusalem, then the United States should honor that.”
This is the issue that has been largely ignored by the American media
and many American politicians. Now, the UN is not only threatening the
sovereignty of Israel, with its attempted Security Council resolution.
It also attempted to order the United States to waive its national
sovereignty to decide whether our country can place our embassy where we
wish it to be.
When the UN charter was adopted, one of its provisions was that it
would not interfere in the domestic politics of its member nations. Yet,
that is exactly what the UN is attempting to do to both Israel and the
United States. It is a good thing that Trump’s UN ambassador raised the
issue of national sovereignty in vetoing the Security Council
resolution, which attempted to order the United States to change its
policy.
An even better move would be for the Trump administration and
Congress to withdraw our ambassador from the UN, withdraw our nation
from the United Nations, and tell the UN to move its headquarters off
our soil.

TRUMP THREATENS TO CUT AID TO U.N. MEMBERS OVER JERUSALEM VOTE
BY ROBERT SPENCER
republished below in full unedited for informational, educational, and research purposes:

The outcry over this tonight is predictable and immense.
“International bullying,” tweeted Linda Sarsour. Yes, but Trump is the
one who is standing up to it. The idea that the U.S. should subsidize
its enemies and ideological foes is a hallmark of the failed foreign
policy establishment that needs to be thoroughly repudiated.

“Trump threatens to cut aid to U.N. members over Jerusalem vote,” by Roberta Rampton and Michelle Nichols, Reuters, December 20, 2017:

WASHINGTON/UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) – U.S. President
Donald Trump on Wednesday threatened to cut off financial aid to
countries that vote in favor of a draft United Nations resolution
calling for the United States to withdraw its decision to recognize
Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

“They take hundreds of millions of dollars and even billions of
dollars, and then they vote against us. Well, we’re watching those
votes. Let them vote against us. We’ll save a lot. We don’t care,” Trump
told reporters at the White House.

The 193-member U.N. General Assembly will hold a rare emergency
special session on Thursday – at the request of Arab and Muslim
countries – to vote on a draft resolution, which the United States
vetoed on Monday in the 15-member U.N. Security Council.

The remaining 14 Security Council members voted in favor of the
Egyptian-drafted resolution, which did not specifically mention the
United States or Trump but which expressed “deep regret at recent
decisions concerning the status of Jerusalem.”

U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley, in a letter to dozens of U.N. states on
Tuesday seen by Reuters, warned that Trump had asked her to “report back
on those countries who voted against us.”

She bluntly echoed that call in a Twitter post: “The U.S. will be taking names.”

Several senior diplomats said Haley’s warning was unlikely to change
many votes in the General Assembly, where such direct, public threats
are rare. Some diplomats brushed off the warning as more likely aimed at
impressing U.S. voters.

According to figures from the U.S. government’s aid agency USAID, in
2016 the United States provided some $13 billion in economic and
military assistance to countries in sub-Saharan Africa and $1.6 billion
to states in East Asia and Oceania….

UN launches app to “empower” migrants, encourage them to “migrate safely”
BY CHRISTINE DOUGLASS-WILLIAMS
republished below in full unedited for informational, educational, and research purposes:

The International Organization for Migration has launched
‘MigApp’ – a mobile phone app developed to “engage” and “empower”
migrants and help them “migrate safely.”

Big ambitions for an app! Any serious-minded migrant will work with
authorities on settling and integrating, while jihadists and entitled
Islamic supremacists who are out to subjugate the House of War will
merely mock this silly app, in which:

One button directs users to the IOM’s Assisted Voluntary
Return and Reintegration service based across Europe….Another directs
migrants to hundreds of organisations across the world where they can
report people trafficking and “modern slavery” via its “Global Counter
Trafficking Hotlines”.

This app does not really appear to be aimed at migrants at all, but
to capture the minds of more bleeding-heart Westerners through
propaganda. This app will appeal to those who continue to be completely
oblivious to the news from countries in Europe that have experienced a
barrage of Muslim migrants. Those countries have had their foundations
shaken as they experience expanding lawlessness and no-go zones. Their
basic principles have been challenged by their leaders’ acceptance of
barbaric practices in the name of “diversity” and “tolerance.” Their
economies have been weakened due to high levels of sustained
unemployment among Muslim refugees, many (if not most) of whom are not
even seeking employment.

“UN Launches App to ‘Empower’ Migrants, Encourage Them to ‘Migrate Safely’”, by Victoria Friedman, Breitbart, December 19, 2017:

The International Organization for Migration has launched
‘MigApp’ – a mobile phone app developed to “engage” and “empower”
migrants and help them “migrate safely”.
Introduced on Monday to coincide with International Migrants Day by
the Geneva-based United Nations Migration Agency, MigApp is sold as a
“one-stop-shop” app for migrants and “migrants-to-be” to find “services
relevant to their specific migration process”.
The app descriptor boasts it gives information on migrant rights,
risks, visa regulations, and intends to further the “IOM’s commitment to
the principle that humane and orderly migration benefits migrants and
society”, the UN agency hoping that one million migrants will be using
the app by the end of 2018.
The app was launched prominently on the IOM’s website, with press
releases heralding its arrival linking to posters and printable bumper
stickers with a QR code to advertise the service.
Pitched nominally at legal migrants by prompting users to have valid
passports and providing information on visas and immigration processes,
the app is also angled towards non-legal and asylum-seeking migrants.
One button directs users to the IOM’s Assisted Voluntary Return and
Reintegration service based across Europe as a means of returning failed
asylum seekers and illegal immigrants to their home country, aiding
them to “avoid the stigma of deportation and its negative repercussions”.
Another directs migrants to hundreds of organisations across the
world where they can report people trafficking and “modern slavery” via
its “Global Counter Trafficking Hotlines”.
Aiming to “provide a platform for migrants to share their
experiences” and “connect migrants”, another feature is the “I am a
Migrant” button where users can read stories of legal migrants and
asylum seekers and share their own.
“‘I am a migrant’ is the UN Migration Agency’s campaign to promote
diversity and inclusion of migrants in society. The campaign uses the
testimonials of migrants to connect people with the human stories of
resilience and courage,” the agency explains…..

MATTEL “EXCITED” TO RELEASE FIRST
BARBIE DOLL WEARING A HIJAB
republished below in full unedited for informational, educational, and research purposes:

From criticism about sexualizing girls from too young an age to
creating a negative and unrealistic body image in girls, Barbie has long
been accorded a great deal of responsibility for the self-image of
young girls. So now Barbie, with her showy display of glamorous makeup,
jewelry and flamboyant styles, is ready to cover it all up.  Mattel has
released its first Barbie in hijab, fashioned after Muslim
Olympian Ibtihaj Muhammad.

Quran 24:31 commands women to cover so thoroughly as to reduce their
capacity to provoke temptation, and to hide their “adornments.” If a
woman does not completely cover, then she is fair game to be “abused”
(Quran 33:59).
The covering up of this free icon of Western femininity in a hijab
will be presented as a celebration of “diversity.”
Iranian-Australian
columnist Rita Panahi condemned
such celebrations in the West, following an effort in the City of
Greater Dandenong to encourage “non-Muslim women to wear a hijab for
three hours” to raise “awareness and insight.” Panahi asked relevant
questions of these “diversity” promoters:

Perhaps a celebration of sharia law involving an
adulteress being flogged in the city square…. moral police armed with
long canes who can whip women for showing too much hair or skin?
That might familiarise the locals with what happens in parts of the
world where hijabs are compulsory….It was only late last year when women
in Iran were disfigured and blinded in acid attacks for daring to
contravene the country’s strict hijab code.

How far are Barbie’s creators prepared to go now that they have waded into the waters of religion and identity politics?

We are so excited to honor Ibtihaj Muhammad with a
one-of-a-kind Barbie doll!” Mattel posted. “Ibtihaj continues to inspire
women and girls everywhere to break boundaries.

Shrouding the identity of women is breaking boundaries, all right!
The hijab is a symbol of the lower status of women in the House of
Islam, and in the House of War, it is often a public declaration of
sharia adherence and supremacist pride.

A side note about Ibtihaj Muhammad:
less than a year ago, she spoke out as a “victim” of the Trump
temporary Muslim ban on countries of concern after she was detained,
claiming that she was detained because of the Trump ban, when she was
actually detained under Obama. Muhammad also claimed that in America she
feels unsafe “all the time.”

“Mattel releases first Barbie wearing a hijab”, by Jennifer Brett, Atlanta Buzz, November 13, 2017 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

Olympic fencer Ibtihaj Muhammad is quite a doll –
literally. She’s thrilled to have inspired a Barbie in her likeness, and
especially proud that the doll will be the first Barbie to wear a
hijab. “This is a childhood dream come true,” she posted. The doll is
part of the “She-ro” line.

“We are so excited to honor Ibtihaj Muhammad with a one-of-a-kind
Barbie doll!” Mattel posted. “Ibtihaj continues to inspire women and
girls everywhere to break boundaries.”….

HALLOWEEN TERROR IN NEW YORK CITY: 8 DEAD, 15 INJURED AFTER TRUCK RAMPAGE IN MANHATTAN~ANGRY TRUMP RESPONDS~OFFICIALS DENY CONNECTION TO ISIS OR ISLAMIC JIHADIST SUPREMACISM

HALLOWEEN TERROR IN NEW YORK CITY: 8 DEAD, 15 INJURED AFTER TRUCK RAMPAGE IN MANHATTAN
Suspect was heard yelling ‘Allahu akbar’
BY INFOWARS.COM

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational, and research purposes:

A suspected terror attack Tuesday left eight people dead, and
at least 15 people injured in lower Manhattan, according to reports.

Police arrested 29-year-old Tampa, Florida resident Sayfullo Saipov –
an Uzbek national – who they believe drove a Home Depot rental truck
onto a hike and bike path in the neighborhood of Tribeca and rammed into
a school bus.
Several witnesses reported the man, who reports initially claimed fired shots, yelled, “Allahu akbar!” during the attack.

Watch eyewitness video below (Warning: Graphic Content):

NYPD officers shot and apprehended the suspect, who was carrying a B.B. gun or a pellet gun, in addition to a paintball gun.
The FBI announced they’ll investigate the event as a terror attack,
after first characterizing the incident as potential “road rage.”

Tribeca is one of the most expensive neighborhoods in Manhattan, and is home to unique architecture associated with the city.

This mass killing event comes just a month after the Mandalay Bay
massacre, the deadliest mass shooting in the U.S. that left 59 dead and
hundreds injured.

President Trump issued the following statements on Twitter:

The president also commented on the possibility the attack may have been inspired by the radical Islamic terror group ISIS, who recently called for October 31 Halloween attacks.
