Not all invasions are hot — not all invaders come with guns and bombs. And Barack Obama, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and other Western leaders are “invading their own countries,” says radio host Michael Savage, using a foreign army introduced under the banner of “immigration,” “illegal migration” and “refugee status.”



Writes WND.com, “History isn’t about tolerance or peace or understanding. History is about war. History is about conflict. History is about invasions — and the most consequential invasion in human history is well underway.” WND isn’t talking about just an American problem, a German problem, a Swedish problem, or a French problem, but one that threatens to extinguish all of the greatest civilization ever to grace our planet: Western civilization. And this is effected via what’s euphemistically called “demographic change.”



Consider the United States. In 1965, close to 90 percent of Americans were of European descent, were of the Western tradition. That percentage now stands at 62 — and falls further each passing day. What happened? The Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1965 happened. Introduced by Congressman Emanuel Celler (D-N.Y.) and aggressively promoted in the Senate by Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.), it created a situation in which legal immigration would swell from an average of 250,000 immigrants a year to approximately one million, causing the rate of immigration to exceed the rate of assimilation. Moreover, 85 percent of these new immigrants would come from the Third World, leading to rapid demographic change. Note that this is something Kennedy had promised would not occur.



And now, though the United States is teeming with unassimilable foreigners, and citizens must press buttons to conduct business in their native language. Obama has accelerated the process by inviting waves of illegals into our nation and granting “refugee status” gratuitously. As WND tells us, quoting Savage and discussing his new book on the subject, Scorched Earth:



“We’re being invaded from the south. We’re being invaded from the north, from the east and from the west. You might say, ‘Well, that’s the way of things,’ and you might get used to it. They’re here, they’re near, they’re everywhere. The question is, why are liberals so quick to embrace this invasion, and why are traditionalists and conservatives like myself so resistant to erasing the borders, language and culture of this great nation?” [said Savage][.]



More than 3 million foreigners came to the United States in 2014 and 2015 according to a new report from the Center for Immigration Studies. The foreign-born population in the United States, now standing at 43.3 million people, is at an all-time high. Immigrants now make up almost 14 percent of the population, the highest percentage in 105 years.



Of course, liberals aren’t only quick to embrace this invasion, they’ve authored it. Why?



Power.



Seventy to 90 percent of the Third World and Muslim immigrants in the United States vote for leftists upon being naturalized. This pattern holds throughout the Western world. For instance, in France, where Islamic immigration has become a contentious issue, approximately 90 percent of Muslims voted for socialist president Francois Hollande in 2012. Leftists know this and joyfully import voters. As Andrew Neather, former advisor to ex-British Prime Minister Tony Blair, confessed in 2009, the massive immigration into the United Kingdom over the previous 15 years was designed by his Labour Party to “rub the Right's nose in diversity and render their arguments out of date.”



But it’s rendering Western civilization “out of date,” a fact that hasn’t escaped hostile foreign entities. As late Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi said in 2006 while commenting on the “cold invasion,” “We have 50 million Muslims in Europe. There are signs that Allah will grant Islam victory in Europe — without swords, without guns, without conquest — will turn it into a Muslim continent within a few decades.”



And the “enemy within,” as Savage would put it, celebrates this rending of the West with a demonic hatred of what should be their own culture. Just consider that Swedish multiculturalist social engineer and Social Democrat politician Mona Sahlin actually said in 2001 that "the Swedes must be integrated into the new Sweden; the old Sweden is never coming back." Of course, if a corresponding sentiment had been expressed by a backwoods tribesman about his own tribe, it would be viewed as most odd; many would call him a traitor. And when a rain forest-dwelling tribe is overwhelmed by outsiders — or when the Tibetans are inundated with ethnic Chinese, which has been happening — anthropologists will condemn it as demographic and cultural genocide. In the West, though, it’s marketed as “multiculturalism.”



And we’re told, “Our strength lies in our diversity.”



Obama knows precisely what he’s doing, too, says Savage, and is purposely deconstructing our nation. “Obama is invading his own country. He’s destroying it from within, like a worm in an apple,” said the radio host. No doubt. In fact, Obama stated last year that over the long term he was “pretty optimistic” that conservatism would be extinguished “because this country just becomes more and more of a hodgepodge of folks.”  



Even more damningly, it was alleged in 2015 that there’s a secret Obama administration plot to use the new illegal aliens as “seedlings” that will develop a “country within a country”; these foreigners will “navigate, not assimilate” as they eventually “take over the host,” coming “out of the shadows” and “pushing the citizens into the shadows,” the report informed.



In this vein, WND mentions that at issue isn’t just the massive number of immigrants, but also their nature. The site further points out that this creeping Third World-ism has already turned states such as California into socialist bastions that vote reliably Democrat. For sure. As I wrote in 2010, placing the matter in perspective:



If we imported millions of Scandinavians — who have created the most liberal governments on Earth — would we expect them to magically change their ideology upon seeing American terra firma? If not, why would we expect otherwise with south-of-the-border socialists? If they choose Hugo Chavez and Evo Morales types below the Rio Grande, why wouldn’t they above it? Geography doesn’t change ideology.



It doesn’t change jihadist zeal, either. Referring to the recent influx of Muslim migrants into the United States — Obama has welcomed more than 13,000 almost exclusively Muslim “Syrian refugees” already this year — Savage mentioned that these individuals cannot actually be vetted and thus are unknown quantities. Moreover, he points out that Obama is preventing border-patrol agents and the police from enforcing immigration law, as the president “invades his own country with a de facto army from other nations,” as the radio legend put it. He characterizes Obama as “dangerous” and as a “psychopath” bent on replacing the population of his own country.



Of course, Obama did telegraph his intentions in 2008, promising “fundamental change.” Note that “fundamental” means “serving as, or being an essential part of, a foundation or basis.” If a man says his wife requires fundamental change, he doesn’t just mean she needs a new hairdo or wardrobe, or even cosmetic surgery. He means that he doesn’t like the very essence of what she is and wants her transformed into a completely different person.

On Wednesday evening Bill O’Reilly, host of The O’Reilly Factor, offered his solution to gun violence: make all gun crimes federal crimes to be enforced at the federal level. “That way,” he claimed, “American law enforcement everywhere can not only take guns off the streets but people who illegally carry them and/or use them to commit crimes … and the upshot, pardon the pun, is that legal gun owners would be left alone.”



He expanded on this trashing of precious gun rights by federal police: “Anyone committing any crime, any crime with a gun, even simple illegal possession, should be subject to federal mandatory prison sentences. All gun crimes should become federal crimes.”



Translation: Guns as well as the criminals using them will be taken off the streets — without due process, without Second Amendment protections — done presumably by federal law enforcement using federal police officers. State laws would be overridden and ignored.



This is the real Bill O’Reilly. Widely perceived as a “conservative,” O’Reilly has been a master at deception, deflecting attention away from real issues. For example, rarely if ever does O’Reilly, or his carefully selected guests, talk about the threats to national sovereignty posed by the United Nations, a New World Order (whose desired implementation really isn't even hidden by elites anymore), or the Council on Foreign Relations. Never does he allow his audience to hear from the likes of Alex Jones of InfoWars or Jack McManus or Art Thompson of The John Birch Society. Can any viewer remember the last time anyone fromBreitbart News appeared with O’Reilly? Or Eric Erickson of Red State?



O’Reilly feigns conservative stances and then lets his real positions be known. Back in January, following the San Bernardino, California, shooting, O’Reilly could have represented the National Rifle Association when he said:



The truth is, terrorists are not going to submit themselves to background checks — neither are dangerous felons or insane people. They are not going to sign any paper when they buy a gun.



Do we all get that? They will buy their guns on the black market. And no registration law will prevent that.



Less than six months later, on June 14, O’Reilly blamed gun violence on the “right wing,” calling them responsible for it and then adding:



There is too much gun crime in the USA, and high powered weaponry is too easy to get. That's the fact. So let's deal with it. We all have the right to bear arms, but we don't have the right to buy and maintain mortars. Even if you feel threatened by gangsters or a New World Order. No bazookas, no Sherman tanks, no hand grenades. That's because the Second Amendment clearly states the government has a right to regulate militias, made up of individuals. They have that right in the name of public safety.



Ignoring his egregious misunderstanding of what the Second Amendment not only says but what it means, his rant sounded awfully similar to that expressed by the “reverend” Jesse Jackson the same day:



Gun control cannot end terror, neither the mass shootings like Orlando nor the daily horror as in Chicago. Omar Mateen, the killer in Orlando, was a security guard, apparently with a record clean enough that he was able to buy guns legally. But surely it is inconceivable that military assault weapons like the AR-15 semiautomatic rifle that he used (and that was also used in Aurora and Newtown and San Bernardino) should be so easily purchased. Reviving the ban on assault weapons that lapsed under President Bush is not a full remedy, but it is simple common sense.



O’Reilly’s “make all gun crimes federal offenses” statement on Wednesday night reflects how his education at liberal Boston University and Harvard and his decades-long employment by CBS News, ABC News, and CBS’ Inside Edition bleeds over from time to time into his comments on gun violence. Two men who identify as women have become the first “transgendered” individuals in the nation to be nominated for U.S. Congress.



Misty Snow, 30, is running as a Democrat against Utah’s current sitting senator, Mike Lee. Born in 1985, Snow says he has always identified as a female, but didn’t seek hormonal treatments until two years ago.



“Becoming a woman is something that she has wanted for a really long time, ever since high school,” his mother, Linda Pace, told People Magazine. “I think that by running for the Senate, she’s showing people that a person’s gender isn’t what matters. People are people. Everybody matters. And that is Misty’s message.”







Snow’s focal issues are income inequality, raising the minimum wage, maternity leave, climate change and homosexual and transgender protections. He debated Lee, a Mormon, on the latter issue recently at Brigham Young University.



“Regardless of what your beliefs about marriage are, or regardless of what your neighbor might believe about marriage, neither you nor your neighbor should ever be discriminated against,” Lee said in speaking of his proposed First Amendment Defense Act.



“The problem with that is it pretty much legalizes discrimination in the name of religion,” Snow responded. “I would encourage religious institutions to treat all students equally, regardless of whether or not they are LGBT.”



In Colorado, Misty Plowright, 33, is running as a Democrat against incumbent Doug Lamborn, a non-denominational Christian. Plowright, who is married to a woman, is also involved in a polyamorous relationship with a man who cohabitates with him and his wife.



“Two years ago we were in Vegas for the World Series of Poker. We got him a ring. We consider it to be our marriage to him,” he told the Guardian in July.



Plowright says, however, that he isn’t asked about his lifestyle much on the campaign trial.



“A lot of people don’t like identity politics,” he told reporters. “They want to know what I think about taxes, about guns, about property rights, about jobs, about veterans’ issues, about health care.”



Plowright’s primary platform issues are Veteran care, domestic energy production, health care and climate control. He also says he has a solution to abortion: artificial wombs.



“You can terminate a pregnancy without terminating a fetus,” he told KOAA-TV last month. “Pro-choice side is happy because you don’t have a government bureaucrat in a woman’s uterus. Pro-life side is happy because, hey, babies aren’t getting murdered anymore.”



While both won in the primaries, they acknowledge that their chances of winning in Tuesday’s election are unlikely.



19th century statesman Daniel Webster, who held office both in the House and Senate, once said, “If the power of the gospel is not felt throughout the length and breadth of the land, anarchy and misrule, degradation and misery, corruption and darkness will reign without mitigation or end.”

Only God Can Condemn and Save



















On October 31, we celebrated the 499th Anniversary of the Reformation. When Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany, it began a movement that would set thousands of captives free from the bondage of religious deception. The Catholic Church attempted to thwart the mass exodus of its people by condemning anyone who left the church. During the Counter Reformation, the Council of Trent threatened hostile action on Catholics and former Catholics who would not remain loyal to their religion. They attempted to control people with the threat of over 100 anathemas. 













One of the anathemas forced people to believe the dogma of indulgences which Luther had soundly rebuked with his 95 Theses. The Council “condemns with anathema those who say that indulgences are useless or that the Church does not have the power to grant them.” An indulgence is “a remission before God of the temporal punishment due to sins whose guilt has already been forgiven, which the faithful Christian…gains under certain defined conditions.” They can be applied to the dead by way of prayer, the Rosary, or the sacrifice of the Mass. 











When the pope pronounces an anathema, he uses a formula which ends with these words: “We deprive [him/her] of the Communion of the Body and Blood of Our Lord, we separate him from the society of all Christians, we exclude him from the bosom of our Holy Mother the Church in Heaven and on earth, we declare him excommunicated and anathematized, and we judge him condemned to eternal fire with Satan and his angels and all the reprobate, so long as he will not burst the fetters of the demon, do penance, and satisfy the Church; we deliver him to Satan to mortify his body, that his soul may be saved on the day of judgment.” 









Anathemas are said to condemn former Catholics to the torments of everlasting hell unless they do penance and return home to Rome. They also condemn current Catholics if they do not believe every infallible dogma of their church.













Former Catholics who are now born-again Christians need not worry! “If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died, more than that, who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us” (Rom. 8:31-34). Only God has the power to save and condemn. 











We must use this information to educate others. More than ever, we must contend earnestly for the faith and resist the growing pressure to unite with the Roman Catholic Church as a valid expression of Christianity. Evangelicals need to know that we can never have unity with a religion that condemned the Reformers for believing that sinners are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, according to Scripture alone, for the glory of God alone. Let us all endeavor to defend the glory and honor of our Lord Jesus Christ, the sanctity of His Church, and the purity of His Gospel.

Lutherans should have learned from Martin Luther when a previous 



pope tried to reverse the Reformation with deceptive language. 



Luther warned, “Popish writers pretend that they have always taught, what we now teach, concerning faith and good works, and that they 



are unjustly accused of the contrary, thus the wolf puts on the sheep’s skin till he gains admission into the fold.” Francis is a different wolf, but wears the same sheep’s skin in 



his attempt to re-unite the Lutherans with “holy Mother, the church.”

in Paris in November 2015 had just entered Europe as refugees.





In February 2015, the Islamic State boasted it would soon flood Europe with as many as 500,000 refugees. And the Lebanese Education Minister said in September 2015 that there were 20,000 jihadis among the refugees in camps in his country. Meanwhile, 80% of migrants who have come to Europe claiming to be fleeing the war in Syria aren’t really from Syria at all.



So why are they claiming to be Syrian and streaming into Europe, and now the U.S. as well? AnIslamic State operative gave the answer when he boasted in September 2015, shortly after the migrant influx began, that among the flood of refugees, 4,000 Islamic State jihadis had already entered Europe. He explained their purpose: “It’s our dream that there should be a caliphate not only in Syria but in all the world, and we will have it soon, inshallah.” These Muslims were going to Europe in the service of that caliphate: “They are going like refugees,” he said, but they were going with the plan of sowing blood and mayhem on European streets. As he told this to journalists, he smiled and said, “Just wait.”



On May 10, 2016, Patrick Calvar, the head of France’s DGSI internal intelligence agency, said that the Islamic State was using migrant routes through the Balkans to get jihadis into Europe.



The Pope and the President of the Lutheran World Federation are calling upon Europe to invite jihad terrorism and commit societal and civilizational suicide. Is that what Christian charity is, as far as they are concerned? Do Christians have no responsibility to try to protect their own families and children, home and heritage?

In a joint statement Monday, Pope Francis and the President of the Lutheran World Federation pledged to pursue full Christian unity between the churches, while also promising a common witness, especially in assisting migrants, refugees and asylum-seekers.



In their statement, signed during the Pope’s historic visit to Sweden in commemoration of the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation, Pope Francis and Lutheran Bishop Mounib Younan “pledge to witness together to God’s merciful grace” while also promising to “stand together in service, upholding human dignity and rights, especially for the poor, working for justice, and rejecting all forms of violence.”



“Today in particular, we raise our voices for an end to the violence and extremism which affect so many countries and communities, and countless sisters and brothers in Christ,” the statement reads.



“We urge Lutherans and Catholics to work together to welcome the stranger, to come to the aid of those forced to flee because of war and persecution, and to defend the rights of refugees and those who seek asylum,” it continues….



This summer, Breitbart News reported that of the 163,000 migrants who arrived in Sweden in 2015, fewer than 500 have found jobs, meaning that the vast majority depend on taxpayer-funded welfare assistance for their sustenance….



Pope Francis has urged European nations to adopt a welcoming stance toward migrants, comparing their situation to that of Jesus and suggesting that hospitality torefugees is “our greatest security against terrorism.”



In a meeting in September with hundreds of alumni of Jesuit schools, Francis told his hearers that with their help, the Pope said, “the Church will be able to respond more fully to the human tragedy of refugees through acts of mercy that promote their integration into the European context and beyond.”



Francis continued, “I encourage you to welcome refugees into your homes and communities, so that their first experience of Europe is not the traumatic experience of sleeping cold on the streets, but one of warm human welcome.”



“Remember that authentic hospitality is a profound gospel value that nurtures love and is our greatest security against hateful acts of terrorism,” he said.

























Pope Declares Catholics and Protestants Agree on the Doctrine of 



Justification






During a recent in-flight press conference, Pope Francis 



responded to a question about withdrawing excommunication 



from Martin Luther. Following are excerpts from His response 



to the question from Tilmann Kleinjung, of the national German radio.  





“I think that the intentions of Martin Luther were not mistaken. Perhaps some methods were not correct. In that time, the 



Church was not exactly a model to imitate. There was corruption 



in the Church, there was worldliness, attachment to money, to power, and this he 



protested. Then he was intelligent and took some steps forward justifying, and because 



he did this Lutherans and Catholics, Protestants, all of us agree on the 



doctrine of justification. On this point, which is very important, he did not err. 



He made a medicine for the Church, but then this medicine consolidated into a state 



of things, into a state of a discipline, into a way of believing, into a way of doing, into 



a liturgical way, and he wasn’t alone; there was Zwingli, there was Calvin, each one of them different. Today the dialogue is very good. That document of justification I think 



is one of the richest ecumenical documents in the world. Read the full press conference here.






Mike’s Comment: Either Pope Francis is not aware of the anathemas that condemn Christians who believe justification is by faith alone, or he is purposely deceiving Protestants for the sake of unity. The Council of Trent, Session 6, Canon 9declares: 



“If anyone says that the sinner is justified by faith alone, meaning that nothing else is required to cooperate in order to obtain the grace of justification, and that it is not in 



any way necessary that he be prepared and disposed by the action of his own will, let 



him be anathema.”

Dear Friends,  



For those who are interested, here is a summary of our Pilgrims Covenant Church public ministry work since I last sent out such a report in July. As always, please let us know if, for any reason, you would just as soon not receive these reports. It would bother me if I knew we have been sending out these reports to someone who would rather not receive them. But, for those of you who do enjoy such an update, I hope you will find the following summary encouraging reading during these not always encouraging days.  



Our billboard campaign (see pictures) continues on full steam, with each billboard in each location up for a minimum of four weeks. I say minimum because, in the providence of God, some have remained up longer. Usually when a billboard remains up longer than the contracted time, it is because no one else has rented the space. But, the strange thing about how this has gone with us is that these billboards of ours which have stayed up longer than the purchased time are in very good locations and have been up at very good times of the year, traffic-wise. For instance, as I write this, one of our billboards in Monroe has been up now for eight weeks! So far, we have had billboards up in Brodhead, Monroe (3), Menomonee, Beloit, Wausau, Platteville, Janesville, Dodgeville, Fond du Lac, Gratiot, and Appleton. Currently, we have a billboard scheduled to go up in Watertown in mid-April, 2017, but are looking for locations for more billboards. 
 



















We have been selecting all of our billboards with great care, and all have the same strengths, but some have additional advantages. To give several examples of what I mean about additional advantages, our billboard in Fond du Lac was not only easily read by persons in cars passing by on the busy highway along which it stood but also visible to boaters, fishermen and from cottages on the immediately adjacent Fond du Lac river! Our billboard in Dodgeville was not only on the busy intersection of two state highways which meet on the north side of the city, but it was also in the immediate area of the county jail and situated so that persons being transported to the jail would read it, as would those visiting them. Two of our three billboards in Monroe were up during Cheese Days when Monroe was swarming with hordes of people from all over the state, even the nation, and believe it or not, even from other nations.
 



















For one reason, or another, our fall gospel lit dropping campaign has been less than dynamic, but we are working on it. So far we have only made it to Janesville, Wisconsin and Pecatonica, Illinois. In both towns, we left our gospel booklet From Death unto Life on the doors of businesses and homes. We are certainly hoping to lit drop more towns before the snow flies.  



On July 30, some of us handed out From Death unto Life booklets to shoppers at the Beloit farmers market. We also held two of our large Scriptures signs, one on each end of the market which is in the downtown area of Beloit. Persons passing by in cars also saw one of our Scripture signs. We were able to hand out 817 gospel booklets. One person told us that in previous years a Christian family have handed out gospel tracts at the market but that they had not done so this year. So, it may well be that the Lord moved us to fill in the gap left by that family. Whoever they were, they belonged to a rare breed of Christians who actually take the gospel out into the world and share it with the lost.

On Labor Day, we shared the gospel at the Janesville Labor Day Parade. As has become our method of operation, we “ran the parade route,” as we say, handing out gospel tracts. In truth, we do not run but actually work methodically, thoroughly, and steadily the length of a parade with a person walking in the street along the curb on each side, handing out tracts; and then others on the sidewalks on each side, reaching with tracts those who are not accessible from the street side. At the Janesville parade, we were able to give out 2,456 Heaven or Hell gospel tracts.

The 2016 biennial Cheese Days in Monroe took place September 16-18. Various members of our little church worked hard all weekend, some both holding Scriptures signs and handing out tracts, others concentrating strictly on getting tracts into the hands of as many people as possible. Some of us were out Friday for the opening festivities and events. We divided up in teams and covered Saturday continuously from 8:45 AM until 5:15 PM.

On the Lord’s Day, we held church early in order to get our teams in place on time to cover the Cheese Days parade route, which is nearly two miles long. We had teams run the parade, working it over well, end to end, handing out gospel tracts. Several of our members also held a Scripture sign and handed out tracts to the crowd gathered on the town square, which is shut off to vehicular traffic and set up with stages, food booths, various attractions, and of course, beer vendors. In fact, persons are allowed to carry open beer containers around with them on the square, so as not to lose any drinking time and at the same time increase the revenues of the liquor peddlers.

Late Sunday afternoon, as one of our ladies who is so faithful in gospel labor put it, by the time the last cheese curd was eaten, the last polka was played, the last beer was drunk, the last alphorn was sounded, we had handed out 13,450 Christ Jesus Came into the World to Save Sinners gospel tracts. That is, 13,450 people were given, and received, one by one that newly written gospel tract (pccmonroe.org/evangelism/savesinners.htm).

As you might imagine, over the many hours we ministered to the Cheese Days crowd, we had a variety of reactions to our Scripture signs and some pretty interesting interactions as we shared the gospel. One new evangelical woman who attends the large Monroe Bible church, a church well on the way toward apostasy, informed one of our men that he was “very wrong” to be handing out gospel tracts and instead should simply be “involved in the community” to reach others. Young people from that church worked in the Swiss Colony hospitality tent and wore shirts emblazoned with the slogan “Live Generously!” Those same young people were extremely cold toward us; and as they passed by our Scripture signs, their countenances betrayed hostility, an evidence of the sort of preaching those poor young people have been getting from their unfaithful minister. Other MBC members also exhibited their distaste for our simple, sincere, scriptural gospel message and labors.  



A local charismatic man walked up to me, slammed to the pavement the jacket he was carrying, and threw a sort of fit over some imagined wrongs committed against him by Christians like me in his past. Quite frankly, he made little sense. But then again, most people who have drunk as much beer as he obviously had generally do not make the most sense and often are unreasonable. Later, this man came back and sort of apologized before hotly engaging me in a disputation over the charismatic teaching concerning gifts of the Spirit such as tongues and even raising the dead. I shared with him the scriptural evidence that those gifts were limited to the apostolic time and why. His defense of the charismatic error was to insist I had not shown him from the Scriptures what I had shown him and then to give a demonstration of supposedly speaking in tongues.



On a more cheerful, hopeful note, an elderly Lutheran lady whom one of our women engaged in friendly conversation did not know, and apparently had not heard about, the necessity of being born again. She asked, “What exactly does that mean?” and was told exactly what it means. A man who rebuked one of our young lads for handing out tracts later returned to shake his hand and share a few kind words. Apparently his conscience would not give him rest until he did so, and I hope the Holy Spirit does the same thing with the gospel he was exposed to. A young man (perhaps a wounded combat vet) with amputated hands and forearms, as well as prosthetic legs, freely accepted a tract, gripping it between the stumps of his arms, after the woman with him had refused one.

Of course, there are other encouraging accounts I could share; but I am sure all of you are very encouraged to simply know that so many tens of thousands of lost sinners had the gospel shared—by signs, tracts, and personal conversation—with them over Cheese Days weekend here in Monroe. We are sure the Lord will, in His own time, bless and prosper our gospel sowing. To Christ Jesus, the Word of Life and Lord of the Harvest, be the glory!  



On Saturday, October 22, a group of us traveled to Whitewater, Wisconsin to hand out gospel tracts to those attending the University of Wisconsin—Whitewater homecoming parade. We were loaded for bear, carrying 3,200 tracts split among us so that none of us would run out as we ran the parade route. This was our first ministry at this particular event. We had pictured teaming multitudes lined up along the parade route. What we found were small, spaced-out little knots of people here and there along the route. Suffice it to say, we covered the parade route very thoroughly indeed. When we reached the end, feeling a bit stunned by the sparse turn out, we decided to simply walk in the street, on each side of the floats and student groups actually in the fairly good-sized parade coming at us. We handed out tracts as we went. By this unorthodox method, we were able to get out quite a few additional tracts, and no one really said anything to us about how we did it. In the end, we were able to hand out a total of 623 Christ Jesus Came into the World to Save Sinners tracts.

That’s it for now. In the past couple of months, we have purchased 60,000 more of our gospel tracts and gospel booklets. We are most thankful to the Lord for providing our small church the means to do so, and of course, we are grateful to those whom He has used for that very purpose. Thanks also to those who remember to the Lord our gospel work. We have more such work planned yet for 2016. There is no other means than the gospel shared out in the world by those faithful, sanctified, scriptural churches yet in the old paths, the gospel of Christ by which men dead in trespasses and sins are saved and regenerated as new creatures in Christ—even those who are enemies of Christ and His true church. And I know of no other weapon but the sword of the Spirit which can dispel the growing darkness of our country, defeat the growing tyranny, and rout that spiritual adversary of the Lord’s blood-bought people.

Lifeway: Jesus Wouldn’t Be Calling If They Really Had Doctrinal Guidelines

“In a recent interview, [Hatmaker] voiced significant changes in her theology of human sexuality and the meaning and definition of marriage — changes which contradict LifeWay’s doctrinal guidelines,” LifeWay spokesman Marty King told Baptist Press today (Oct. 27). “As a result, LifeWay has discontinued selling her resources.” (Source, Baptist Press)





While many on social media and blog-sites were commending the bold stand Lifeway made in pulling Jen Hatmaker’s books after her views on the LGBT issue and her position on gay “marriage” hit the front pages of the Christian “news” media, I sat back somewhat slack-jawed.



Disregard the comment from Lifeway spokesman Marty King that implied Hatmaker had “voiced significant changes” in her interview with Religion News Service.  Her comments in that interview were not breaking news. Her positions on this issue were known quite some time before. The discerning sorts among the Christian world easily, and early, recognized the politically liberal and insufficiently biblical positions of Hatmaker. King’s statement on behalf of the 185 store media wing of the SBC was, then, inaccurate.



Though the commendations of many for Lifeway’s move to dump Hatmaker are themselves laudable, they seemed to fail to recognize the utter hypocrisy of this agency in doing so.   Indeed, while we should applaud the removal of any unbiblical, false teaching proponent from the shelves of this purported “Christian” bookstore, the positive press Lifeway generated by their bold stand for “doctrinal guidelines” is bewildering.lwevent



Given what Lifeway has done with Hatmaker, when compared to what they yet allow to remain on their shelves and what they continue to promote – especially through the heresy-rich marketing sub-brand known as Lifeway Women – the tagline of the SBC agency should no longer be “Biblical Solutions for Life,” but something more akin to “Doctrinal Hypocrisy For Sure.”



Dumping an author for her unbiblical support for gay marriage and her “an LGBT relationship can be holy” attitude was certainly the right move. But, given the abundant heresy that Lifeway hawks, it shows that they are more concerned about shooting press-gaining salvos for a socially conservative evangelical constituency than they are truly concerned about “Biblical solutions for life.”  Your soul actually matters less than your perception of Lifeway’s care for it.



Lifeway deems it – again, rightly so – inappropriate to sell an author with Scripturally-illicit views on homosexuality, because of “doctrinal guidelines,’ yet they find it doctrinally tolerable to continue promoting and selling works of known false teaching by known false teachers? Are Lifeway’s doctrinal guidelines merely tied to prevalent cultural issues on which they can act and make evangelical hay, in this case with an author who wasn’t evidently sufficiently lucrative to their enterprise that her forced departure would frustrate their financial performance?



When one goes to Lifeway’s website, there are some impressive “Core Values” listed under the web-paged banner of “Vision, Values, and Mission.” While lacking the soteriological import of the Scripture-gleaned TULIP, Lifeway touts its own five points of core values. They are: Trustworthy, Collaborative, Innovative, Comprehensive, and Transformational.



Though these pithy statements may serve sufficiently to quench the SBC’s craving for a “Vision” statement, they represent even less in the way of “doctrinal guidelines” as does the generally-palatable, if not – to some – doctrinally-loose Baptist Faith and Message.   The BF&M, by the way, is not referenced on Lifeway’s site as their overriding doctrinal guideline. The five points of Lifeway seem to be all that’s needed.



But by doing the right thing with Hatmaker, even if for back-slapping, self-aggrandizing benefit, it leaves one wondering how seriously Lifeway actually takes their own first pointed claim to doctrinal integrity.



Under their point number one,  “Trustworthy,” Lifeway has the heterodoxical boldness to claim, “We believe the Bible is the eternal, inerrant word of God, and is the plumb line for all of our resources, and for everything we say and do. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)”.

If you merely walk the aisles of your nearest Lifeway store – don’t do it; as Justin Peters says, you’d be safer on a swat team than walking into a Christian bookstore – it is evident to anyone with a modicum of Biblical literacy that these folks not only don’t use Scripture as a plumb line, they seem to have taken that line and choked to death any breath of astute, biblical discernment that may once have lived in the agency’s past.



Indeed, having choked discernment to death, they seem to leave a Tyndale-like impression on the doctrinally bewildered who stand in awe of the gross disregard for sound doctrine among their shelves.  Where is the burning stake on which they’ve torched the remains of discernment and truth?  To claim Scripture as the “plumb line for all our resources” not only tarnishes the integrity of God’s Holy Word, it illuminates the fact that Lifeway is ground zero for heresy.

jclwThe most evident, Scripturally-vile blasphemy permitted by, promoted through, and profited from, by Lifeway is the Jesus Calling franchise of heresy. A search for this term on Lifeway’s site returned 208 product “hits.” (See Screen Clip to Left)



Jesus is apparently calling anyone and everyone –outside of His Word, that “plumb line” of Lifeway, by the way – by speaking to a charlatan. There’s Jesus Calling for women (its most eager audience), Jesus Calling for children (because we certainly want to teach them that the Bible isn’t sufficient, making future Andy Stanley pew-sitters, perhaps), Jesus Calling for men (because, yes, men too disregard Scripture and prefer to have their itching ears scratched; men like Thom Rainer, President of Lifeway who permits this heresy to be sold and even a former SBC president, Johnny Hunt, who heartily endorsed it).

The presence, then, of extra-biblical, contemplative heresy like Jesus Calling is evidence that Lifeway actually cares nothing about the “doctrinal guidelines” to which they profess to adhere. Add to that the works of Trinity-denying modalist TD Jakes, the contemplative dangers of Lysa Terkheurst and Priscilla Shirer, the circle making heresy of Mark Batterson, the Scripture-twisting prayer teachings of Anne Graham Lotz,  the word-faith, prosperity gospel pastrix Christine Caine, and her heresy-hurling gal-pal, the “I get revelations” Beth Moore, and it’s plain to see that Scripture isn’t only not a plumb line for Lifeway, it’s also not a remotely referenced guideline for them.



Whatever pressures were brought to prompt the agency to dump the gay-endorsing Hatmaker were not, be assured, primarly doctrinal in nature.  But by claiming a doctrinal impetus for it, Lifeway has made one thing abundantly clear.  It is assuredly the most hypocritical agency of the rapidly racing-to-downgrade Southern Baptist Convention.



The fact is, Jesus would not be calling if Lifeway indeed had doctrinal guidelines. But their driving guideline seems to be the bottom line, and that line can endure the occasional hit for the gratuitous sake of the rare, bold “doctrinal stand.”



Do the right thing, Lifeway.  Dump ALL the false teachers.  Start actually using that Word as the rule of faith and practice … and, instead of selling junk food for deceived goats, start selling sheep food founded on the clear, sound doctrine of the Word.  Doing that would truly be a bold move based on doctrinal convictions.

During a rally in the key state of North Carolina Thursday, GOP nominee Donald Trump slammed president Obama as the “campaigner in chief,” labeling him as “stupid’.



“We are led by stupid people, OK? We’re led by stupid people, and one of them is campaigning just too much,” Trump declared.







“Because of our failed leaders, including from the campaigner in chief Obama — this guys does nothing but campaign.” Trump told the raucous crowd.



“You know I said the other day, I said, ‘Let him work on bringing our jobs back from Mexico who stole our jobs.’” Trump continued.



“‘Let him work on building up our very depleted, you know it better than anybody, our depleted military,’” Trump added.



“Instead, he is campaigning with somebody who is under the FBI investigation,” he exclaimed.



“Now why, why isn’t he back in the office, sometimes referred to as the Oval Office? Why isn’t he back in the White House bringing our jobs back? And helping our veterans? Right? Why, why isn’t he back working? He’s campaigning every day, and I actually think considering that she is under criminal investigation, I think he’s actually got a conflict,” Trump said.



Trump was responding to president Obama’s words in the past few days at numerous rallies, where, although refusing to refer to Trump by name, Obama has suggested Trump is a serial misogynist and sympathizes with the KKK.







Earlier in the week, Obama told voters in Ohio that the GOP nominee “wouldn’t let you into one of his hotels unless you were cleaning the room” or onto his golf courses “unless you were mowing the fairway.”



“This guy is gonna be your champion?” Obama mockingly asked, urging voters not to “be bamboozled.”



In a further appearance in North Carolina Thursday, Trump referred to Clinton’s email activities as “far-reaching criminal conduct” and “equally far-reaching criminal coverup.”







“She got away with murder, honestly,” he said. “She has no right to be running, you know that. But … if she were to win, it would create an unprecedented constitutional crisis that would cripple the operations of our government,” Trump urged.

In an email dated June 28, 2015, Abramovic wrote, “I am so looking forward to the Spirit Cooking dinner at my place. Do you think you will be able to let me know if your brother is joining? All my love, Marina.”



Tony Podesta then forwarded the email to his brother John Podesta (Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman), asking him, “Are you in NYC Thursday July 9 Marina wants you to come to dinner.”







What is “spirit cooking”?



Spirit cooking refers to “a sacrament in the religion of Thelema which was founded by Aleister Crowley” and involves an occult performance during which menstrual blood, breast milk, urine and sperm are used to create a “painting”.



According to Marina Abramovic, if the ritual is performed in an art gallery, it is merely art, but if the ritual is performed privately, then it represents an intimate spiritual ceremony.



The video embedded above depicts the bizarre nature of the ceremony. Abramovic mixes together thickly congealed blood as the “recipe” for the “painting,” which is comprised of the words, “With a sharp knife cut deeply into the middle finger of your left hand eat the pain.”



The ceremony is, “meant to symbolize the union between the microcosm, Man, and the macrocosm, the Divine, which is a representation of one of the prime maxims in Hermeticism “As Above, So Below.”



“Abramovic is known for her often-gory art that confronts pain and ritual. Her first performance involved repeatedly, stabbing herself in her hands. The next performance featured her throwing her nails, toenails, and hair into a flaming five-point star — which she eventually jumped inside of, causing her to lose consciousness,” writes Cassandra Fairbanks.



Another image shows Abramovic posing with a bloody goat’s head – a representation of the occult symbol Baphomet.



Spirit cooking is also an “occult practice used during sex cult rituals, as explained in the book “Spirit cooking with essential aphrodisiac recipes,”notes Mike Cernovich.



The revelation that John Podesta, Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, is presumably interested in weird, gory occult ceremonies was too juicy for even Wikileaks to ignore.

Others are connecting it to Laura Silsby, the missionary who was jailed for six months after her organization, New Life Children’s Refuge, attempted to smuggle 33 children out of Haiti into the Dominican Republic after the 2010 Haiti earthquake.



Wikileaks emails reveal that Hillary’s top aide Huma Abedin forwarded numerous articles about New Life Children’s Refuge to Clinton.




“Julian Assange claimed that the Wikileaks would send Hillary Clinton to prison,” writes Cernovich. “The releases initially disappointed many people, this reporter included, as the evidence of corruption was slim. Assange was right. The real story was hidden in view.”



While the child trafficking and pedophile connections to Clinton remain unproven, the fact that her campaign chairman is apparently into spooky occult rituals involving menstrual blood and semen is easily one of the most disturbing Wikileaks revelations to date.

Shocking evidence of such criminality has been found on ex-congressman Anthony Weiner’s laptop computer, say the sources, which was seized from him by NYC officials investigating his allegedly having sent sexually explicit texts to a 15-year-old girl. Moreover, Hillary Clinton’s “crew” supposedly includes not just close aide and confidante Huma Abedin and her husband, Weiner, but other aides and insiders — and even members of Congress. NYPD sources said these new emails include evidence linking Clinton herself and associates to:



• Money laundering



• Child exploitation



• Sex crimes with minors (children)



• Perjury



• Pay to play through Clinton Foundation



• Obstruction of justice



• Other felony crimes



NYPD detectives and a [sic] NYPD Chief, the department’s highest rank under Commissioner, said openly that if the FBI and Justice Department fail to garner timely indictments against Clinton and co- conspirators, NYPD will go public with the damaging emails now in the hands of FBI Director James Comey and many FBI field offices.



“What’s in the emails is staggering and as a father, it turned my stomach,” the NYPD Chief said. “There is not going to be any Houdini-like escape from what we found. We have copies of everything. We will ship them to Wikileaks or I will personally hold my own press conference if it comes to that.”



These revelations would explain why Director Comey reopened the investigation into Clinton’s mishandling of classified information, a move that shook the political world and caused Comey to come under fire. As the NYPD chief put it, the new e-mails contents truly are “alarming.”



True Pundit also reports FBI sources as stating that Abedin and Weiner are both trying to cut immunity deals with federal officials and that, if they didn’t cooperate, they’d face long prison sentences. Abedin’s turning state’s evidence would no doubt be devastating for Clinton, as the two women have for years been joined at the hip. Abedin has at times been like Clinton’s shadow, has been called her “body woman,” and has even been rumored to be Clinton’s lesbian lover. So Abedin likely knows where, as is said, the bodies are buried.



Of particular note, the new e-mails allegedly contain information revealing that Hillary, Bill Clinton, Weiner, and numerous congressmen took trips to convicted billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s private island, where he is said to pimp out underage minors of both sexes to prominent people. The trips were taken aboard Epstein’s Boeing 747, dubbed the “Lolita Express”; the pedophile’s island, in the US Virgin Islands, has been called “Sex Slave Island.”



These revelations would also explain why Clinton used powerful software called BleachBit to scrub damning information from her private server. According to BleachBit’s website, its program gives criminals and others the ability to “shred files to hide their contents and prevent data recovery.”



Yet it can’t scrub bumbling perverts from your personal life, and Weiner’s laptop also contains incriminating e-mails revealing the mishandling of classified information by Abedin and Clinton, say the sources. Both women “sent and received thousands of classified and top secret documents to personal email accounts,” and this information could have been “accessed, printed, discussed, leaked, or distributed by untold numbers … of unknown individuals,” writes True Pundit.



Consequently, FBI sources say the new Clinton investigation has been broadened and now includes matters such as how, informs True Pundit:



• Abedin forwarded classified and top secret State Department emails to Weiner’s email



• Abedin stored emails, containing government secrets, in a special folder shared with Weiner warehousing over 500,000 archived State Department emails.



• Weiner had access to these classified and top secret documents without proper security clearance to view the records



• Abedin also used a personal yahoo address and her Clintonemail.com address to send/receive/store classified and top secret documents



• [a] private consultant managed Weiner’s site for the last six years, including three years when Clinton was secretary of state, and therefore, had full access to all emails as the domain’s listed registrant and administrator via Whois email contacts.



This story just adds more intrigue to a presidential campaign that is truly unprecedented, with a torrent of WikiLeaks and Project Veritas revelations and now Clinton’s Weiner woes. From vote fraud to inciting violence to child sex abuse to pay-for-play to perjury, it’s becoming clear to many that the Democratic Party — and the Clintons in particular — are essentially a criminal syndicate. As former assistant FBI director James Kallstrom said in a Sunday interview, “The Clintons, that’s a crime family, basically. It’s like organized crime. I mean the Clinton Foundation is a cesspool…. God forbid we put someone like that [Clinton] in the White House.” And now we know better why, as I wrote Sunday, this “appears standard FBI sentiment. I personally know of an ex-agent — someone with knowledge of Clinton ‘crime family’ dealings — who I’m told is having trouble sleeping at night due to the prospect of a Clinton presidency.”



All these revelations raise important questions: How could Hillary Clinton and her cohorts have bumbled so badly that they appear a cross between Inspector Clouseau and Boss Tweed?



And if Clinton is so careless with her own personal survival, how can she be trusted with national survival?



Part of the explanation is general incompetence, yet there’s another factor: Both Clintons have engaged in continual criminality over the decades — and have been allowed to skate at every turn. This lack of accountability has led to complacency and ever-increasing brazenness, just as with a child never punished for wrongdoing.

An investigation into the Clinton Foundation has actually been ongoing for a long time and is the core of all the investigations, even though we just heard about it. Hillary was hiding a private server in her basement in New York, and was using this server to hide her activities. Those activities were about soliciting donations from foreign governments to get personal payments to the Foundation. Why? For two reasons, Hillary’s access to government policy for these foreign governments while Secretary of State, and to enrich the Clinton family! Only 10% of what is taken in by this so-called charity foundation is given to charity. The rest is for expenses!



Totally unconstitutional, and if she gets off, this will be repeated by future Democrats and Republicans, and foreign entities will have total access to America’s politics.
Investigators are now 99%sure that five foreign intelligence agencies were able to hack into Hillary’s private email server. She put our national security in jeopardy! Will she ever be indicted? Highly doubtful with the way the DOJ and FBI are stacked with her friends. Alan Dershowitz says Hillary will never be indicted. Maybe he’s right, but we have a powerful God on our side, and I believe the truth will out!



So, let’s take a look at the Department of Justice and FBI.



Peter Kadzik and John Podesta



John Podesta is Hillary’s campaign manager. Peter Kadzik is Podesta’s best friend, and another Clinton stooge. Kadzik, is the attorney general who now promises an “expedited review” of the Huma/Weiner/Clinton emails, and he was Marc Rich’s attorney. But wait…remember Marc Rich?



Marc Rich was an international commodities trader, hedge fund manager, financier and businessman. He founded the commodities company, Glencore, and was indicted in the United States on federal charges of tax evasion and illegally making oil deals with Iran during the Iran hostage crisis. He was in Switzerland at the time of the indictment and never returned to the United States. He received a presidential pardon from President Bill Clinton on January 20, 2001, Clinton’s last day in office.

This all happened before Kadzik joined the Justice Dept. in 2013. He was lobbying Clinton’s Chief of Staff, John Podesta, for help obtaining a pardon for the fugitive Rich, which he received. It appeared, and was reported, that Kadzik was recruited by the Rich people, specifically because of his friendship with Podesta.

Kadzik’s involvement in the current Weiner/Huma/Clinton situation is great cause for alarm. Zero Hedge reported that among the recent batch of hacked emails released by WikiLeaks, we learned that the day after Hillary Clintontestified in front of the House Select Committee on Benghazi October 2015, John Podesta, Hillary’s campaign chairman, met for dinner with a small group of well-connected friends, including Peter Kadzik, who is currently a top official at the US Justice Department serving as Assistant Attorney General for Legislative Affairs.



So, here’s the bottom line folks…the best friend of John Podesta at the DOJ, will be in charge of a probe that could potentially sink Hillary Clinton. And WikiLeaks has already documented that Kadzik shared information about the congressional investigation of Hillary Clinton with his friend John Podesta. Kadzik already testified before Congress on the Hillary Clinton email investigation. He believed she was innocent. Like Donald Trump says, “It’s rigged!”



Two Different Investigations



These investigations are being conducted by a completely different team of FBI agents who are under the purview of prosecutors of the Eastern District of New York in Brooklyn. This is the office that Attorney General, Loretta Lynch ran for six years when she was appointed by Bill Clinton. Obama chose her from the Eastern District and made her Attorney General. While Lynch was at the Eastern District, she staffed it, and all the prosecutors and employees at this District are still Lynch’s. Here’s where it gets ugly. This is apparently the office that has the Clinton Foundation investigation, ahem…



Okay, the FBI works for the Department of Justice. The email investigation of Hillary’s email server is allegedly happening out of the Manhattan office, Southern District of New York. It is this latter office that has come across the emails from Weiner’s and Abedin’s laptop which they were apparently both using at home. This came about because of an investigation into the perverted internet acts by Weiner with a minor.



This group in Manhattan has asked the other team for everything they have on the Foundation, and it is not being shared. Why? Because Loretta Lynch whoworks for Obama and was appointed by Clinton has dug in her heels. Her Justice Department is blocking the FBI team from examining emails in connection with its investigation of the Foundation. If it wasn’t for the Clinton Foundation, there wouldn’t be a Hillary email scandal because FBI Director Comey already stated that there was no crime committed…cough, cough…”no intent to commit a crime,” when Hillary was trafficking in emails that might have been classified.



When the one team started looking at Weiner’s emails, and they found Foundation emails, when Huma had stated she’d turned in everything, well…the kaka poopoo hit the fan, because it looked like Huma lied! The FBI team needs further evidence, and wanted info from the Eastern District, but they are being blocked.



In Andrew McCarthy’s article of 2 November 16, he asked this question, “Why is Lynch rushing the search for classified e-mails but blocking the pay-to-play corruption probe? It’s well worth the read, even though it’s at the NationalReview! He says this is why the agents on the Clinton Foundation team wanted to get their investigation out of the Eastern District office and move it to the Southern District in Manhattan. The Southern District has a tradition of relative independence from the Justice Department and a reputation for pursuing political corruption cases aggressively. The US Attorney at the Southern District is Preet Bharara and he is known for prosecuting Republicans and Democrats who have engaged in illegal activities and corruption.



FBI Deputy Director, Andrew McCabe



The Clinton Foundation FBI Agents were said to be barred from prosecutor shopping by FBI Deputy Director, Andrew McCabe. According to a recent WSJ article, McCabe also instructed FBI agents who wanted to pursue a Clinton Foundation investigation aggressively to “stand down.” Why? Well, here’s the other incestuous connection.



Terry McAuliffe, long time Clinton fundraiser and intimate, sent $675,000 to the failed state senate campaign of McCabe’s wife.



McCabe has had a leadership role in the investigation of Hillary’s private email and home brew server in her New York mansion while Secretary of State. The connections are far too suspect. McCabe should recuse himself from further involvement in the Hillary email investigation, but so far he hasn’t.



Rotten in Denmark



There is a distinct whiff of something rotten in Denmark in this whole scenario. Podesta and Kadzik, McAuliffe and McCabe, Obama and Lynch, all of them are obviously protecting the corrupt Hillary Clinton.



What a convoluted mess this woman and her cronies have given us. This is far and above even a Clancy novel…but it’s all true!



Trump is absolutely right when he says, “It is Rigged!” And he’s absolutely right when he says, “Drain the Swamp!”

Perhaps it’s the stories about rampant Muslim-migrant violence in Germany and Sweden. Maybe it’s that, despite government claims to the contrary, it has been established that there’s no way to vet the Mideast migrants entering our nation. Or it could just be good old-fashioned common sense. Whatever the case, a Michigan town has sent the federal government a clear message: We have no interest in participating in your so-called “Refugee Resettlement Program.” As Breitbart reports:



Waterford Township trustees in Oakland County, Michigan, passed a resolution on Monday telling the federal government not to resettle any refugees, including those from Syria, within the township’s boundaries, until the program “has been significantly reformed.”



The resolution stated: “The Charter Township of Waterford will not actively participate in the Refugee Resettlement Program until the Program has been significantly reformed, and until it has been demonstrated that the Townships of Oakland County have the capacity to absorb refugees without diverting funds from needy residents or exposing their residents to unwarranted security risks.”



Waterford Township isn’t the first entity to cry foul over the feds’ migrant-resettlement social engineering scheme. In late September, Texas formerly withdrew from the government program, although the feds have not given up on trying to flood the state with migrants (informative video on this subject below). And Breitbart tells us of “Oakland County, Michigan, where County Executive L. Brooks Patterson has said he intends to sue the federal government for resettling refugees in the county while failing to comply with the ‘consultation clause’ of the Refugee Act of 1980 that requires the federal government and the director of the Office of Refugee Resettlement to consult with state and local government officials prior to the placement of refugees within their jurisdictions.”







These state and local governments are right to be concerned about the Mideast migrants — especially since the feds have been less than honest. While the latter often claim the newcomers are thoroughly vetted, this is simply an impossibility. First, countries such as Syria don’t have comprehensive Western-style databases containing reliable information on the citizenry. Even more significantly, you can bribe public officials in Syria (and most Third World and Muslim countries) and get official government documents stating you’re whoever you want to be. This is why sources as varied as U.S. intelligence officials, the Greek government, and a NYC Syrian community leader have all warned that the Mideast migrants are unknown quantities.



It is also clear that the current effort to place Muslim migrants in the West is a con. On this point I often quote Dr. Mudar Zahran, a Muslim refugee and Jordanian resistance leader living in Britain. While calling himself a “practicing Muslim,” he also has a warning for the West:



Keep the Muslim migrants out of the West.



His reasoning? As Zahran pointed out in a 2015 interview, “Seventy-five percent of those arriving from Syria come from safe area[s]; actually, the ones in disaster areas cannot … leave.” He pointed out that most of them arrive from safe places such as Turkey or Jordan and bypass poor European countries, instead settling in nations such as Sweden or Germany, “where there is a rich nation with a generous welfare system.”



Just as significantly, as of the publication date of this Daily Mail report, the five richest Arab nations — Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, and Qatar — had refused to accept even one single Syrian migrant, despite these countries being far closer to the migrants’ native lands. These nations, despite sharing faith and ethnicity with the migrants, seem to believe they “won’t fit in.” Yet if this is so, why should anyone think they’d fit in (assimilate) in the West?



Zahran spoke of this as well, saying that “in most cases they [Muslims] don’t seem to fully integrate” and, furthermore, warning of “people who want to turn Europe into a Muslim state.” And the writing may already be on the wall, as the makers of the below video on Dearborn, Michigan — called “Dearborn-istan” by many — contend.







Yet Dr. Zahran claims there’s something more insidious at work here than just unwillingness to assimilate and Arab nations’ indifference to coreligionist plight. As he put it, “You read Arab magazines and Arab newspapers; they are talking about, ‘Good job! Now we’re going to conquest [sic] Europe.’ So it’s not even a secret.”



Zahran might be referring to the hijra, which in Arabic means “migration” or “journey”; this is a type of jihad conducted not via a hot war but a cold demographic war whose goal is the subsumption of a target people. This aim is sometimes stated, as by the Muslim migrant here, who said that his goal in going to the West was to “Islamize” Europeans. Zahran calls this “the soft Islamic conquest of the West.” 



Yet even Muslim migrants who don’t arrive as stealth-hijra jihadists (and logic dictates that most don’t), can still pose a problem. Germany is said to be “losing control of the streets” and Sweden is much the same, after absorbing large numbers of Mideast migrants. Migrants in Germany committed 142,500 crimes during the first six months of 2016 — amounting to 780 crimes a day (and note: political correctness prevents many such crimes from being reported; the number is no doubt higher). In Sweden, police are so overwhelmed and demoralized that three officers a day quit their jobs, a significant number in a small nation. Moreover, more than 50 Swedish areas are now considered “no-go zones,” places where authorities fear to tread and civil law has broken down.



This migrant lawlessness isn’t hard to understand. British philosopher Edmund Burke noted, “Society cannot exist, unless a controlling power upon will and appetite be placed somewhere; and the less of it there is within, the more there must be without.” In Muslim lands, a great proportion is “without,” with Draconian punishment being the norm; the chopping off of hands and heads and the blinding of people are not uncommon. Yet a prerequisite for the Western norm of relatively light punishment is that a greater proportion of that controlling power will be within. And when the Mideast migrants enter the West, it’s often a “When the cat’s away, the mice will play” situation. Add to this Koranic verses labeling non-Muslims fair game for plunder, rape, and deceit, and it’s a toxic mix.



Despite this, the Obama administration forges on ahead with so-called “refugee resettlement,” having accepted 13,210 “Syrian” migrants thus far this year, a 675 percent increase over 2015. Note that Hillary Clinton has vowed to continue in this vein. And migrants of all kinds are now flooding into the United States, owing to our porous borders and Obama’s refusal to enforce immigration law. The result? Our immigrant population is now at an all-time high.



And further note: Clinton has been caught admitting that she believes in “open borders.”



The question is, does the West have a collective mind so open that its brain has fallen out? If over time we accept one million Muslim migrants and just one-tenth of one percent are terrorists or become so, that’s 1,000 violent jihadists. Moreover, the current push to accept these migrants has nothing to do with compassion, but with importing socialist-leaning voters who can create an unassailable leftist voting bloc. Know that 85 percent of our new immigrants (and almost all illegal migrants) hail from the Third World and Mideast, and 70 to 90 percent of them vote Democrat upon being naturalized. It’s a left-wing “hijra.”

Rise Dramatically In SF



More and more, it seems, San Franciscans need to watch where they step. And they’re not imagining things: There’s been an explosion in complaints about needles and feces on the streets and sidewalks.



Reports of improperly discarded syringes have jumped 41 percent since last fiscal year, according to a recent city controller’s report. Complaints about feces have increased by 39 percent, with every district seeing a rise in the calls.



And, in a trend that must be disturbing to residents who don’t live near the Tenderloin or SoMa, long perceived as epicenters of filth, there were big increases in complaints about the outlying neighborhoods to the city’s 311 service portal for fiscal year 2015-16.



Complaints about needles have surged 73 percent in supervisorial District Two — the Marina and Cow Hollow. They were up even more — 77 percent — in District 10, the Bayview. District Four — the Sunset — saw a 58 percent increase. District Six — downtown, the Tenderloin and SoMa — had an increase of 49 percent. There was good news in District Seven — Lake Merced and West of Twin Peaks, which saw a decline of 39 percent.



The numbers on feces told a similar story. In District One — the Richmond — complaints increased 72 percent. The Bayview was hit hard again with an increase of 140 percent. Needle-clean District Seven was up 67 percent, and the Sunset jumped 96 percent. District Six had a relatively modest increase of 29 percent.



Streets are actually cleaner now than last year, with less excess litter, grime and illegal dumping along commercial arteries, the report shows. Twice as many roadways were cleaned of excess litter compared with last year, and there was less broken glass, too. Scores for landscaping also improved. But some complaints continue to skyrocket. The percentage uptick in calls about syringes and feces far surpassed the 25 percent growth rate in all calls to 311.



“There’s a lot more people that need services coming to San Francisco,” said Public Works Director Mohammed Nuru, who oversees cleaning of 90 percent of city streets and sidewalks. The department cleans up about 1,000 syringes a month and added two cleaning teams this year to the three it had.



“The city has a huge challenge ahead of us,” Nuru said. “We need to figure out how to deal with these quality-of-life issues. A lot of them are from people who are living on the streets. That’s a fact.”



The increase in complaints about needles was actually less than the increase in fiscal year 2014-15, when calls doubled. And data from individual districts illustrate how the hot spots for discarded needles are within Districts Six and Nine.



They included the intersection of Leavenworth Street and Golden Gate Avenue, Minna Street between Seventh and Ninth streets, the area around 14th and Harrison streets, and west of Van Ness Avenue and Mission Street between Market and Otis streets.



The percentage change in those three districts was greater than the city’s overall 25 percent increase in calls in all categories, said Luke Fuller, a performance analyst in the city Controller’s Office.



“They are unusual in terms of citywide trends,” Fuller said. “Part of it could be because of gentrification, or more people out and about on the streets in those neighborhoods, or simply more homelessness. Problems can migrate in the city from year to year. It could correlate with any of those things.”



District Six continues to top the list with 60,891 of the 413,700 calls the city received, nearly seven fold more calls than any other district. Since last year, complaints about human waste have risen by 29 percent, from 5,811 to 7,509. Syringe reports are up 49 percent, from 1,106 to 1,653, and broken glass has grown by 43 percent, from 246 to 352, likely because of more awareness of car break-ins.



Supervisor Jane Kim, who represents the district, which has seen the bulk of the city’s new developments, said that it has been disproportionately affected by homelessness. She has advocated for increasing the city’s Pit Stop program and opening more Navigation Centers — one-stop shops for getting homeless people off the streets, which could help keep bio-hazardous waste off streets and sidewalks.



“We know that services and shelters for homeless residents have largely been concentrated downtown, and that certainly has had an impact,” she said. “We know the long-term solution: Housing and supportive services will get people off the streets permanently. … Our residents deserve to walk on clean, safe sidewalks throughout our city.”



Right behind Kim’s district was District Nine, with a 37 percent increase in feces complaints from 1,909 to 2,621, 45 percent in syringe calls from 517 to 752 and 32 percent climb in broken glass reports from 190 to 250. Thousands of calls also came from District 10, where complaints about feces jumped 140 percent, and reports of needles grew 77 percent.



“Look, this illustrates that this is a citywide crisis,” said Supervisor David Campos, who represents District Nine, which includes the Mission. “You see complaints growing by 60 to 70 percent in some parts of the city. It’s happening everywhere, and I don’t feel the city has done enough. The report confirms what we have all been saying for a while now.”



Supervisor Malia Cohen, who represents District 10, called the trends unacceptable, calling on the city to devote more resources to addressing homelessness.



In the meantime, Nuru said crews will continue to push for clean streets on every block.



“My goal is to have the city clean in the morning when people are coming to work or visiting and out and about,” he said. “The city gets that we have a huge challenge ahead of us.”

Fans of Jen Hatmaker like her because she is, in one word, relatable. The Texas author and speaker writes often about her “messy” family life, confessing in a viral 2013 post to being the “worst end-of-school year mom ever.” Her homespun approach has garnered her spots on the New York Times bestseller list and an HGTV series alongside husband Brandon and five children.



But last week, Hatmaker broke from her evangelical base, telling Religion News Service columnist Jonathan Merritt that she supports same-sex marriage and believes LGBT relationships can be holy. Such statements followed a social media post this April in which Hatmaker called for LGBT inclusion in churches. Her recent comments prompted LifeWay Christian Stores, the large Southern Baptist bookseller that published her 2012 bestseller “7: An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess,” to discontinue selling her Bible studies and books.



The backlash to both Hatmaker’s comments and to LifeWay’s decision reveals growing rancor in evangelical circles over same-sex relationships. White evangelical Protestants remain the U.S. religious group least likely to support same-sex marriage. Absent a pope or a unifying denomination, evangelicals turn to the Bible as the authority on all matters, and most believe Scripture forbids same-sex relations.



But in recent years, evangelical groups have divided over how to practice that teaching in church ministry and outreach. In 2013, humanitarian group World Vision incited swift backlash and quickly reversed course after announcing it would hire staff in same-sex marriages.



Individual leaders who break from the traditional teaching on same-sex relationships — among them ethicist David Gushee, pastor Tony Campolo and former Christianity Today editor David Neff — raise questions over whether one can affirm LGBT relationships and remain an evangelical.



Today Hatmaker published a follow-up post on her Facebook page, stating that she came to her conclusion “with prayer and careful study and deliberation.” “Our view of the Word is still very high, as is it for the hundreds of thousands of faithful believers who believe likewise,” she wrote, suggesting that one can be an evangelical, holding Scripture as the authority on all matters, and affirm same-sex relationships.



Hatmaker is the most prominent female evangelical leader to date to express support for same-sex relationships. The backlash she faces illuminates how tricky it can be for such leaders to take a stand on thorny cultural and political issues without losing followers.



“Christian female celebrities are usually known for their personal stories, not their theological belief statements,” notes Kate Bowler, a professor of Christian history at Duke Divinity School, who is writing a new book about evangelical women and authority. “It is both unusual and remarkable that Hatmaker … took this stand in a culture that doesn’t typically reward it [taking stands] in women.”



Many evangelicals believe that women are unfit for spiritual leadership, Bowler notes. So many evangelical women today wield influence via storytelling and persona rather than positions of institutional leadership.



Most white evangelical women leaders “do not engage politics,” notes Sharon Hodde Miller, whose PhD research at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Ill. focused on women in evangelical ministry. “The collective implication is that you cannot be ‘popular’ and ‘political.’ You have to choose.”



Miller notes that Hatmaker has been a “trailblazer” in this regard; she has spoken out on racial reconciliation and the global refugee crisis in recent years. This spring, she published a controversial Facebook post that expressed support and inclusion for LGBT people. Many of her followers applauded her stance, while others expressed concern that she was defying scriptural teaching.



Kate Shellnutt, an editor at Christianity Today magazine, said Hatmaker’s most recent comments on same-sex marriage are consistent with her overall “all are welcome” approach. “Jen is very sensitive to the outsider … she is so passionate about including others: cultural outsiders, the homeless, racial minorities, people who have been hurt by the church,” Shellnutt said. She said Hatmaker’s comments last week serve to “clarify her position, and update what she’s said previously.”



Shellnutt believes Hatmaker’s recent comments might be used to confirm that women can’t be trusted to lead on spiritual matters. “For the haters, it’s an ‘I told you so’ moment, and worse, ammunition to decry women’s events and women teachers more generally,” said Shellnutt.



The timing of Hatmaker’s comments are notable; she and other popular speakers are in the midst of Belong, a 12-city tour offering encouragement and community to Christian women. Belong is for this generation what Women of Faith was 20 years ago; both events are created by the same company, and Belong counts as its “partners” two prominent evangelical ministries, World Vision and MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers).



Two of Hatmaker’s stage mates, writer Shauna Niequist and musician Nichole Nordeman, have since expressed support for Hatmaker after last week’s comments. But many other individual women have taken to social media to say they won’t attend Belong or read Hatmaker’s books.

Jennie Allen, founder of another popular Christian women’s conference, the IF:Gathering, responded to Hatmaker’s comments last week after her “phone and inboxes started to blow up.” She affirmed that IF:Gathering — which has featured Hatmaker as a speaker since it launched in 2014 — holds to the traditional teaching on same-sex relationships. She said that Hatmaker would not be speaking at next year’s IF, as Hatmaker “took herself out of IF many months ago for reasons that are her own.”



But Allen also said that she had trouble issuing a “statement” on Hatmaker, as she didn’t want to “drive a relational wedge between me and someone I love so dearly and hurt members of the LGBTQ community, many who are friends.” She urged readers to practice Christian unity in a divisive moment for many evangelicals. She said the issue of homosexuality is difficult not because the Bible isn’t clear but because “it is not an issue — it is people. And people we love.”



Miller believes this relational approach could bode well for Hatmaker’s stance within evangelicalism, especially among female followers. “Many of the women who disagree with her are still grateful for her teaching and her influence on their lives, and they are able to hold those things together,” Miller said. She believes Hatmaker represents a wave of evangelical women “who are not content to silo their faith,” or to publicly support only the things that every Christian agrees on. “I happen to think that’s a good thing.”

But LifeWay Still Not Seeing the Big Picture



According to a Christianity Today article, LifeWay Resources (the Southern Baptist Convention resource arm) has stopped selling products by Jen Hatmaker because of her promotion of same-sex marriage. The CT article stated:



Jen Hatmaker posted a 650-word response on her Facebook page Monday, saying she “wrestled with and through Scripture, not around it” before coming to a decision to affirm same-sex relationships, which recently led to LifeWay Christian Resources pulling her books from its stores.



Hatmaker has been the topic of Lighthouse Trails articles and Cedric Fisher’s booklet called IF it is of God: Answering the Questions About IF: Gathering as she is part of the group of women who head up the women’s movement called IF: Gathering. You can read that booklet by Fisher by clicking here. In Fisher’s booklet, he says this about Jen Hatmaker:



In Jen Hatmaker’s book, Interrupted: When Jesus Wreck Your Comfortable Christianity, she makes it clear that she is influenced by a number of New Age/New Spirituality individuals. She quotes Catholic priest and contemplative activist Richard Rohr and emergent leader Shane Claiborne. 



On her blog, she promotes the book, The Circle Maker, by Mark Batterson, a book that encourages readers to draw circles around specific things in order to have more answered prayers. Batterson was inspired with this idea by an ancient sage.

In Hatmaker’s book, 7: An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess, she reveals that her family takes part in a Roman Catholic ritual with mystical origins, the “Seven Sacred Pauses.” Hatmaker got her inspiration from Seven Sacred Pauses, a book by Macrina Wiederkehr who is a spiritual director in the contemplative prayer movement. 



In Wiederkehr’s retreats, seekers are guided through experiences of silence, contemplation and lectio divina (a contemplative practice where words and phrases from the Bible are repeated in mantra-like fashion). The “seven sacred pauses” are seven times a day to pause and pray, which Wiederkehr describes as “breathing spells for the soul.”

Consider Hatmaker’s statement concerning the preaching of God’s Word:

“I have spent half my life listening to someone else talk about God. Because of this history, I’ve developed something of an immunity to sermons.”

This is eerily similar to the sentiment of Sue Monk Kidd (author of The Secret Life of Bees), who once, as a conservative Southern Baptist Sunday school teacher, expressed her dissatisfaction (and eventual rejection) of the preaching of God’s Word. That led Monk Kidd down a path away from the Christian faith and straight into the New Age. Today, she worships the goddess Sophia.

This disgruntlement of God’s Word is so prevalent among leaders of the emerging New Spirituality church. If not preaching, then what? Is it emotionally charged conventions and books with flowering, poetic phrases that open up to spit out a toxic drop of heresy? If Hatmaker is immune to preaching, she has rejected God’s method in favor of her own. (source and footnotes)



While LifeWay did the right thing in dropping Hatmaker’s products, they still do not see the big picture as they keep a tight grasp on numerous problematic authors such as Sarah Young (and her cash-cow Jesus Calling books and Bibles), Richard Foster, Dallas Willard, Gary Thomas, Ruth Haley Barton, and many more contemplative, emergent authors.



The fact that LifeWay will remove books by someone promoting same-sex marriage but not remove books by authors who promote a mystical, panentheistic inter-spiritual prayer shows once again that Christian leaders and ministries just don’t get it. How is it that one is OK and the other is not? After all, they are both going in the same direction, and that is away from the Gospel and away from God’s Word. Where are the overseers of LifeWay and the Southern Baptist Convention?
