In the final days of the Obama administration, several agencies
finalized new rules and regulations that Mr. Obama had been pushing for.
Among
those, the Social Security Administration, or SSA, announced that they
have finalized rules under which they will be reporting – possibly many thousands of – Social Security benefit recipients to the FBI’s National Instant Check System as “prohibited persons.”
It also makes a felon of anyone who provides a
“prohibited person” access to firearms or ammunition. So parents of
developmentally disabled children who receive SSI, and have used
shooting and hunting as a family bonding activity, can continue doing
that until the child turns 18, at which time, they would be committing a
felony if they allowed their ward to touch a gun or ammunition.
Social
Security Recipients : What the law says is that “prohibited person”
includes anyone: “who has been adjudicated as a mental defective or who
has been committed to a mental institution.” That’s it.The
basis of this “final rule” is a bureaucratic finding that the person is
“unable to manage their own affairs.” Just as we’ve seen from the
Veterans Administration since the mid-1990s, the SSA is now submitting
to NICS the name and identifying information of anyone whom they say is
“adjudicated mentally defective” under the 1968 Gun Control Act.
The
primary criteria for that determination is that they be an adult who,
rather than handling SSA benefits themselves, has a “designated payee”
who acts as a fiduciary to manage the person’s benefits. For instance, a
person might have sustained a head injury and, as a result, has trouble
dealing with numbers, so they have a parent or spouse named as their
“designated payee.”
Under the new SSA rules, that person will be
labeled as “adjudicated mentally defective” and will be barred from ever
holding a gun or ammunition for the rest of their life.
It
doesn’t matter to the SSA if the person is fully functional in every
other way, if they “can’t manage their own affairs” with SSA, they are
considered a “mental defective,” and their name is submitted to NICS.
In
some cases, someone who requested a “designated payee” as a matter of
convenience, might be able to appeal the NICS submission, but they can
only appeal after the submission has been made, and they could be
looking at significant time and legal expense. They would also have to
remove their guns and ammunition from their home until the matter was
resolved. That could be a problem in states like Washington, where any
firearm transfer, even just temporarily while sorting out a SSA mistake,
must be processed through a licensed dealer, with a per-gun fee, and a
required background check.
Assuming the person won
their appeal, legally transferring the guns back into their possession
would require processing again, including the per-gun fee, and a
background check on the person getting his guns back.
The
thing that is the most frustrating about this new rule, is that SSA
says they are merely obeying a law which received broad bipartisan
support, and which was supported by the NRA. The law is called the NICS Improvement Amendment Act of 2007.
It was passed in response to the horrible attack at Virginia Tech. One
of the provisions of the act requires that government agencies share
with NICS the names of people who are prohibited from firearm possession
for mental health reasons. Even more frustrating, the law which forbids
possession of firearms by “mental defectives” does not say anything
about people who can’t manage their own financial affairs.
What
the law says is that “prohibited person” includes anyone: “who has been
adjudicated as a mental defective or who has been committed to a mental
institution.” That’s it. Nothing about managing financial affairs, etc.
But several years ago, the BATFE, promulgated regulations for enforcing
that line of the law, and in their definition of terms, they stated that
“adjudicated as a mental defective” means:
“A
determination by a court, board, commission, or other lawful authority
that a person, as a result of marked subnormal intelligence, or mental
illness, incompetency, condition, or disease: Is a danger to himself or
to others; or Lacks the mental capacity to contract or manage his own
affairs.”
Out of the blue, the BATFE simply added the part about the “capacity to contract or manage his own affairs.” They also stretched the term “adjudicated”
to now include rulings by boards, commissions, and “other lawful
authority,” which they say includes the bureaucrats at the VA and the
SSA.
And
where have they been in the subsequent two decades as this unfounded
regulation has been used to strip Second Amendment rights from
countless, innocent veterans?
Let’s hope that this ruling from the
SSA will be the wake-up call Congress needs to finally take action to

In a fresh insult to victims of terrorism everywhere, outgoing
President Barack Obama decided to commute the 70-year sentence of
communist terror leader Oscar Lopez Rivera (shown), whose terrorist
group unleashed a wave of savage violence that included more than 120 bombings across the United States.
The brutal Fidel Castro-backed Marxist-Leninist terror group, known as
the “Armed Forces of National Liberation” (FALN), murdered six and
injured dozens of Americans amid its campaign to enslave Puerto Rico
under communist rule. Critics and victims of terror expressed outrage,
with some suggesting the move was a green light by Obama for future
communist terrorism against innocent Americans.
But far from being a surprise, the latest radical move is merely a
reflection of Obama’s radical roots. After all, the virtually unknown
extremist who grabbed the presidency with the backing of the
establishment got
his political career off the ground in the home of Castro-backed
communist terrorist William Ayers of the Weather Underground — a close ally of the FALN terrorists. According to FBI operative Larry Grathwohl who infiltrated the outfit, Ayers’ Weathermen group was plotting to exterminate 25 million anti-communist Americans in death camps once they overthrew America with help from foreign communist dictatorships. Like Obama and Ayers, Lopez Rivera was also a “community organizer” in Chicago.
Under Obama’s scheme, announced on January 17, the FALN terrorist
leader Lopez Rivera will officially be a free man on May 17. Whether he
will resume his terrorist activities remains to be seen. But it is
noteworthy that the convicted terror leader refused a previous offer of
freedom conditioned upon his renunciation of violence and terrorism. He
has never expressed remorse. And as far as anyone knows, Lopez Rivera
still believes in the use of terrorism and in murdering innocent people
to bring about totalitarian communist enslavement of the Puerto Rican
people. Apparently he has some allies in Congress, including longtime Marxist-Leninist activist Representative Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.), who gushed that he was “overjoyed and overwhelmed with emotion.”
Perhaps the most infamous attack by the FALN terror group was a 1975
bombing at Fraunces Tavern in New York that killed four innocent victims
and injured more than 50. Before that, the FALN had bombed Exxon, Union
Carbide, Federal Reserve Bank buildings, and other targets. Among the
many victims was a police officer with the New York Police Department,
who was maimed and blinded. By 1977, the communist terrorists were
bombing Defense Department personnel, too. In an attack on the Mobil
building, FALN terrorists killed another victim, critically injuring
many more. Fortunately, the terrorists were also rather incompetent, so
despite being busted with massive amounts of explosives, their war of
terrorism and enslavement was not as deadly as it might have been.
Lopez Rivera was a key player in it all, helping to lead the
terrorist group’s operations in Chicago and the surrounding area. He was
arrested in 1981, when the FBI found large quantities of dynamite,
firearms, explosives material, fake identification, and more in his
apartments. The terror leader was charged and convicted in federal court
for “seditious conspiracy,” violating the Hobbs Act, illegal possession
of weapons, interstate transportation of stolen cars, armed robbery,
interstate transportation of firearms, and conspiracy to transport
explosives with intent to destroy government property. He was sentenced
to more than 50 years in prison by a federal court that same year.
Apologists for communism and terrorism have claimed that there is no
“proof” Lopez Rivera directly murdered anyone, which, as critics have
pointed out, could also be said of Osama bin Laden or Terry Nichols. But
in his indictment, prosecutors listed 28 terrorist bombings across the
Chicago region as “overt acts” in support of the conspiracy he was
convicted of participating in. At his trial, a FALN witness also
described, under oath, how Lopez Rivera had personally trained him in
how to produce deadly bombs. Throughout the ordeal, he refused to
recognize the legitimacy of the court, and he never expressed regret for
the murder and mayhem he and his co-conspirators unleashed.
Adding insult to injury, rather than serving his sentence peacefully,
the terror leader and his communist co-conspirators concocted a plot to
break him out of federal prison at Leavenworth in Kansas by murdering
prison guards. Had the plot not been stopped, it would almost certainly
have left prison officials and law-enforcement officers dead. After his
associates were busted with bombs and guns plotting the escape, Lopez
Rivera had his sentence extended by 15 years, time which he will never
serve thanks to an outgoing Obama who seems determined to support
terrorism and terrorists of any variety all over the world.
But the FALN terror leader could have been free almost a decade ago.
With Obama’s future scandal-plagued Attorney General Eric
“Fast-and-Furious” Holder operating behind the scenes, then-President
Bill Clinton offered in 1999 to commute the sentences of a more than a
dozen FALN terrorists, including Lopez Rivera. Eleven were eventually
freed. But Lopez Rivera refused the offer because he would have to
renounce terror, serve another 10 years, and leave some of his
co-conspirators behind. Victims of the FALN’s terror campaign were
horrified, and the spectacle was so unpopular that even Clinton’s wife
Hillary Clinton was forced to criticize the move by her husband amid her
campaign for the U.S. Senate.
At the time, investigative journalist William F. Jasper with The New American blasted the move by Clinton.
“The President’s clemency for FALN thugs opens the door to new acts of
violence and exposes the hypocrisy of [Clinton’s] supposed tough stance
against terrorism,” Jasper wrote. “This White House-sponsored, massive,
terrorist jailbreak was a flagrant and visceral broadside against
America’s national security.” Numerous law-enforcement personnel who
spoke to The New American also expressed outrage at the release of communist terrorists from prison.
Aside from a handful of far-left extremists in entertainment,
academia, and government, commentators were aghast at Obama’s decision,
blasting the “unconscionable” move to free an unrepentant terrorist.
Even some establishment voices were taken aback by the move. “The FALN’s
season of insurrection is long over,” wrote columnist Charles Lane with
the far-left Washington Post in a piece that was also run by the pro-Obama Chicago Tribune.
“But for the group’s victims, as well as for all Americans concerned
with the consequences our government applies to terrorists, this
last-minute get-out-of-jail-free card for Oscar Lopez Rivera seems
anything but well-timed.”
On the other hand, Obama’s Castro-backed terrorist friend Bill Ayers, who wanted to exterminate 25 million Americans in death camps with help from Beijing, Havana, and Moscow,
was ecstatic when he learned of the news. “Still in the air, dancing in
the aisles,” the unrepentant communist terrorist and Obama ally wrote
on Facebook after hearing of Lopez Rivera’s imminent release. The day
before, Ayers tweeted that he was on his way to Havana — headquarters of
the mass-murdering Communist Cuban dictatorship, which helped finance
and guide his terror attacks in America — but that he would return in
time to “rise up” in Washington, D.C., for Donald Trump’s inauguration.
The Communist Party USA and its official mouthpiece People’s World
also celebrated the decision. “Oscar will be freed!” wrote the
communist propagandists, absurdly describing the terrorist as a
“political prisoner” who was in prison merely for “fighting for his
country’s independence.” Also celebrating the move was Jacobin
magazine, which falsely argued that Lopez Rivera’s conviction on
“seditious conspiracy” charges was the equivalent of a “thought crime.”
The far-left Spanish-language broadcaster Univision, which targets
Hispanics with deception and propaganda, completely whitewashed the
terror leader’s crimes. In what critics described as “fake news,”
the increasingly discredited Univision even suggested the terrorist was
jailed merely for pursuing the “independence ideal, assuring that all
human beings have the right to want their country to be free and
sovereign.” Much of the English-speaking establishment media simply
ignored the explosive developments altogether, focusing instead on
Obama’s decision to free leaker Bradley Manning.
Ironically, despite decades of scheming by Lopez Rivera and the
totalitarian forces behind his terror campaign, the people of Puerto
Rico themselves do not wish to be independent from the United States —
much less to live under a Stalinist regime akin to the barbaric
dictatorship enslaving Cuba that also backed the FALN. Today, just a
tiny radical fringe in Puerto Rico supports the FALN agenda. But that
does not mean the terrorists and the forces behind them are no longer a threat to life, liberty, and property.
With this move freeing Lopez Rivera, Obama has again disrespected
victims of terrorism and American law enforcement, while emboldening
communists and terrorists everywhere. But unfortunately, the latest
scheme from the White House follows a long pattern over the last eight
years of this administration. From aiding and abetting Marxist mass-murderers in Cuba and El Salvador to shilling for amnesty and seats in Congress for brutal Marxist terrorists in Colombia and beyond,
Obama has been among the biggest enablers of terrorism in U.S. history.
It is time for Congress and the next administration to find out what
has been going on.

In flagrant violation of federal laws signed by then-presidents Bill Clinton and George H.W. Bush, outgoing President Barack Obama just illegally sent another $500 million of American tax money to a dictator-controlled United Nations “Green Climate Fund” (GCF). President-elect Trump vowed on the campaign trail to “cancel” the entire UN climate regime and the billions in payments, meaning Obama was almost out of time.
When contacted with questions about the violation of U.S. law, the
U.S. State Department responded with demonstrably false statements
claiming that the GCF was an “independent entity” and “not an
international organization,” and therefore not subject to the funding
prohibition enshrined in federal law. The UN and the GCF, however, say
otherwise, often and clearly.
With the latest Obama “grant” to the UN fund from an “Economic
Support Fund” created by Congress to “promote economic or political
stability,” the total disbursement of U.S. tax dollars to the UN outfit
is now $1 billion. The
previous $500 million check was seized from money Congress appropriated
to fund infectious disease research at the height of the Zika scare.
Aside from the legal violations, leading scientists and experts have slammed the controversial UN “climate” entity as a slush fund to subsidize globalist bureaucrats and Third World kleptocrats who
have either impoverished their victims, or kept them in poverty. How
such a grant would promote economic or political stability, as required by law, was not clear.
But Obama, with just three days left in office, was unable to fulfill
his entire illegal pledge to send $3 billion of American wealth to the
UN fund. That means members of Congress, who pounced on Obama’s illegal pledge and vowed to block it, ended up being proven correct, saving U.S. taxpayers billions.
But the violation of the law is a serious matter and cannot be left
unaddressed. And Obama already knows that sending the money to the UN
fund is illegal, as almost half of the U.S. Senate sent his administration a letter in April of 2016 letting him know.
The specific laws in question were passed by Congress in 1990 and 1994.
The first one, signed by then-President George H.W. Bush, bans any U.S.
funding “for the United Nations or any specialized agency thereof which
accords the Palestine Liberation Organization the same standing as a
member state.”
The other measure, signed into law by President Clinton, prohibits
the distribution of U.S. taxpayer funds to “any affiliated organization
of the United Nations which grants full membership as a state to any
organization or group that does not have the internationally recognized
attributes of statehood.” Both measures were passed by Congress in a bid
to keep the Israeli-Arab peace process alive.
In February of 2016, though, the UN Framework Convention on Climate
Change (UNFCCC), under which the Green Climate Fund exists and operates,
decided to admit U.S. taxpayer-funded “State of Palestine” as a member
state. That decision, made knowing full well what the consequences would
be, triggered the prohibition on U.S. funding of the UNFCCC and the UN
GCF that it created — primarily
as a means of extracting wealth from Western taxpayers to advance the
UN’s “climate” regime by bribing Third World dictators into playing
along with the schemes.
In short, that UNFCCC decision made it illegal for Obama or Congress
to send any more U.S. money to any UNFCCC entity. Under U.S. law, that
prohibition specifically includes the GCF, which (until very recently) described itself on its own website as
“the financial mechanism under the UNFCCC” that, under the unratified
pseudo-treaty known as the UN “Paris Agreement,” supposedly “invests in
low-emission, climate-resilient development.”
U.S. lawmakers made the law abundantly clear to the Obama
administration in a letter sent by nearly 40 Republicans after the
UNFCCC decision to admit the non-state of Palestine. “We request that
you ensure that no disbursements of U.S. funds are made to the UNFCCC
and its related entities after March 17, 2016,” the senators wrote to Obama’s Secretary of State John Kerry in an April letter.
“We believe that your failure to do so will constitute a violation of
current law…. We implore the administration to … abide by current
law prohibiting U.S. taxpayer funds for the UNFCCC and its related
entities and other UN affiliated organizations.”
In what may be one of the most nonsensical and Orwellian responses
ever received by this writer from a federal agency, a spokesperson for
the State Department offered false information “on background”
purporting to justify the obvious violation of federal law. “To begin
with, the Green Climate Fund is an independent entity and not an
international organization,” claimed “Advisor for Environmental
Communications” Emily White in the State Department Bureau of Public
Affairs, contradicting the GCF’s own statements about itself and common
sense. “Rather, it is a trust fund with an independent board and
secretariat, for which the World Bank serves as trustee.”
Despite the State Department’s claims, there are mountains of
evidence proving that the GCF is not just an “affiliated” international
organization of the UNFCCC, but a direct component of it. At the 16th UN
Conference of the Parties global-warming summit in Cancun, for example,
governments and dictators established the “Transitional Committee for
the Green Climate Fund.” The committee created a report, presented at
the following year’s UN climate summit, declaring that the “GCF would
become an operating entity of the financial mechanism” of the UNFCCC. The New American attempted to reach the spokesperson by phone and e-mail for clarification, but no response was received by press time.
Addressing the laws in particular, White weaved a complex fantasy to
justify the illegal move. “In addition, it is our view that neither the
1994 nor the 1990 legislative provisions that restrict contributions for
certain international organizations that grant membership to the
Palestinians has been triggered by the Palestinians’ purported accession
to the UNFCCC,” the spokesperson said. “The UNFCCC is a treaty, and the
Palestinians’ purported accession to it does not involve their becoming
members of any UN specialized agency or, indeed, any international
organization.”
To see whether the UNFCCC, which has 500 employees and a Secretariat based in Berlin, is really just a “treaty,” a quick visit to the UNFCCC website should suffice.
In a statement quietly posted on the U.S. State Department’s website,
Assistant Secretary and Department Spokesperson John Kirby with the
Bureau of Public Affairs made no mention of the federal laws that
prohibit the action he was celebrating. “Today, the U.S. State
Department is announcing that it has made an additional $500 million
grant to support the Green Climate Fund (GCF),” Kirby declared on
January 17. “Consistent with last year’s GCF grant, this funding is
provided from the fiscal year 2016 Economic Support Fund (ESF)
appropriation.”
While Kirby made no mention of it in his deceptive statement, which
lies by omission, he did acknowledge the source of the funds — the
so-called ESF. And that in and of itself may be an admission of a legal
violation. According to 22 U.S. Code Chapter 32, sub-chapter II, part IV,
funds from the ESF may only be disbursed “in order to promote economic
or political stability.” Subsidizing oppressive Third World regimes
through the GCF is likely to undermine both economic and political
stability by encouraging lawlessness, tyranny, cronyism, and more. It
certainly did not promote U.S. national interests either, as called for
in the statute.
“U.S. funding for the GCF continues U.S. government support by this
and prior Administrations for climate change programs through
multilateral funds,” Kirby continued. “The GCF is the world’s largest
multilateral finance institution dedicated to advancing low-emission,
climate-resilient development. The GCF was created to help protect
vulnerable populations and drive clean energy deployment, all with a
special focus on engaging the private sector and mobilizing private
capital.”
In reality, as this magazine has documented extensively,
the GCF was created to ensure a large slush fund needed to bring Third
World governments and dictators onboard the imploding UN “climate”
bandwagon. The Group of 77 Plus China, a coalition of 134 governments
and mass-murdering tyrants, even openly
threatened to walk away from the 2015 UN “climate” summit in Paris if
Western governments did not agree to hand over $100 billion per year of
taxpayers’ money to their regimes.
Critics highlighted the absurdity of it all. “This is a direct
subsidy to, frankly, to kleptocracies,” internationally renowned
physicist Dr. Fred Singer, professor emeritus of environmental sciences
at the University of Virginia, told The New American on the sidelines of the UN climate summit in Paris.
“We know what happens to that money. It goes into the pockets or bank
accounts of the people who run these countries — it’s been happening all
the time, and I think it will continue to happen. So, as someone put
it, it’s a matter of the poor in the rich countries supporting the rich
in the poor countries.”
But Kirby tried to put a happy face on the whole scam. “The GCF
supports developing nations in their efforts to achieve those objectives
and to become more resilient to climate change — in turn, reducing the
global and national security risks associated with inadequate adaptation
to and preparedness for extreme weather events and other climate
related impacts,” he said, citing “policy and regulatory reforms” to
promote the UN climate schemes as the objectives being pursued.
In short, on its way out the door, Obama once again decided to spit
on the American people and the rule of law to help advance his radical
globalist agenda. Whether the Trump administration and Congress can
recover the money illegally stolen from the American people remains to
be seen. But perhaps, if nothing else, Obama and his top officials who
cooperated in this heist can be held personally liable for the crime,
and be forced to make restitution to the perpetually abused American
taxpayer.

CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case — so named by the Justice Department. CAIR officials have repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups. Several former CAIR officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror. CAIR’s cofounder and longtime Board chairman (Omar Ahmad), as well as its chief spokesman (Ibrahim Hooper), have made Islamic supremacist statements about how Islamic law should be imposed in the U.S. (Ahmad denies this, but the original reporter stands by her story.) A California chapter distributed a poster telling Muslims not to talk to the FBI, and a Florida chapter distributed pamphlets with the same message. But as far as Hamas-linked CAIR is concerned, it is Franklin Graham

Franklin Graham should be removed from Donald Trump’s
inauguration line up, the US’ largest Muslim civil rights group said on
Thursday.The outspoken conservative pastor and son of evangelist Billy Graham is due to pray at the ceremony next week in Washington.
But the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) called on the
president-elect to drop Franklin, who they described as a “notorious

In a bizarre spectacle that took many low-level establishment-minded
analysts by surprise, brutal Communist Chinese dictator Xi Jinping was crowned the king of globalism this week
by embattled Western globalists at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in
Davos. Blasting “excessive pursuit of profits,” Xi (shown) offered a
“vigorous defense” of globalism and pseudo-“free trade” schemes in his
keynote speech at the event. He also suggested that his brutal regime
was ready to step in to a leadership role in the emerging new world
order as the United States changes direction. However, as the globalist
alliance with savage communist tyranny comes out of the closet, Western
voters are likely to become even more hostile to the extreme agenda of
their would-be overlords.
Without a trace of irony, the brutal dictator claimed to be working
for “the people” while promoting “liberalization” and “openness,” as if
his communist regime believed in either of those values. Bizarrely, Xi
even echoed the Gettysburg address by former U.S. President Abraham
Lincoln. “China is pursuing development of the people, by the people,
and for the people,” claimed Xi, as if the blood-drenched communist
oppression of the largest nation in the world were actually intended to
benefit its victims. “Globalism certainly creates some problems that we
all need to solve together. But what should really scare us is any
[leader] not willing to live up to the challenge.”
Xi then continued shilling for more of the globalist status quo in
which the American economy gets hollowed out, Americans lose their jobs
and industries, and the U.S. government breaks the back of American
taxpayers with trillions in odious debt to Beijing and other nefarious
forces. “It is true that economic globalization has created new
problems, but this is no justification to write off economic
globalization altogether,” the tyrant said through a translator. “We
must remain committed to developing free trade and investment, promoting
liberalization and facilitation through opening up, and saying no to
protectionism…. We should say no to protectionism. Saying yes to
protectionism is like locking oneself in a dark room. Wind and rain may
be kept outside, but so is light and air. No one will emerge as a winner
in a trade war.”
Ironically, the regime in Beijing imposes massive trade barriers on
Western firms seeking to operate in China. In addition to its massive
economic espionage apparatus, which steals technology and trade secrets
from Western companies like they were Chinese serfs, Beijing imposes
strict rules on companies hoping to do business in China. It also uses
tariffs to protect domestic industry, subsidies to help crush foreign
competition, currency manipulation to boost exports, and widespread
dirty tricks to hamper its competitors. The Chinese economy, meanwhile,
rather than the free-market utopia imagined by dishonest and naive
analysts, is dominated by ruthless state-owned enterprises that exploit
the equivalent of slave labor across China. The regime also abuses taxpayers worldwide by using the United Nations to subsidize its exports and shipping.
Xi also took repeated and obvious shots at U.S. President-elect
Donald Trump, who, unlike Xi, was actually elected — all without ever
saying Trump’s name. In fact, more than a few analysts painted the
entire speech as a heroic pro-globalism diatribe against Trump and the
fed up American voters who put him into office. “When encountering
difficulties, we should not complain about ourselves, blame others, lose
confidence or run away from responsibilities,” Xi continued in his
speech to fawning establishment globalists and hangers-on representing
government, business, banking, academia, and beyond. “Instead we should
join hands and rise to the challenge.”
As history shows, though, joining hands with communist dictators
basically always results in tragedy — oftentimes even for their
ostensible allies. Communist revolutionary Leon Trotsky, for example,
ended up with an ice pick in his head after a falling out with his
murderous comrades. And the regime in China has already shown that it
has no qualms about killing — in fact, the Communist Chinese Party state
has
murdered more innocent people than any other government in human
history. It continues to murder and torture dissidents, even harvesting
organs from members of proscribed religious minorities. The regime
also continues to use coercive abortions to enforce its barbaric
population-control policies as it engages in what experts call the
“cultural genocide” of Tibet.
A senior economic adviser for Trump responded to Xi’s comments and
insinuations, saying the incoming administration was merely seeking
fairness in trade policy. “If you want to send your goods to us and if
you want to buy our debt, then we just want an equal paying field,” said
Trump adviser Tom Barrack. “Intellectual property, the enforcement of
trademark rights and the ability to have a true bilateral negotiation is
what it’s about. And it’s simply a negotiation. We now outsource our
trade policy to third party entities. It’s not going to happen anymore.”
Among other third party entities that purport to set trade policy for America
that benefits the Communist Chinese dictatorship at the expense of
American workers is the World Trade Organization (WTO). But that is just
the tip of the iceberg.
Perhaps rubbing in the fact that his regime has already stolen the military, trade, and economic secrets of most of the WEF’s attendees and the institutions they represent,
Xi claimed that it was “not possible” any longer to stop the flow of
technology and people across borders. Aside from Trump, the remark was
widely interpreted as a swipe at British voters, who recently voted to
exit the European Union super-state in a “Brexit,” partly out of concern
for the mass-migration brought about by open borders. However, the
remark was ironic considering that Switzerland, which hosts the WEF and
is considered among most successful nations on Earth, is not an EU
member and recently voted to cut off the mass immigration.
The Chinese dictator, the first to attend the WEF, also defended the globalist United Nations “Paris Agreement,” an illegal pseudo-treaty on “climate change” signed by Obama but never ratified by the U.S. Senate as required by the Constitution. The controversial UN climate regime purports to
require the imposition of devastating economic pain on the American
people, all while boosting the brutal dictatorship ruling China and
fleecing American taxpayers to prop up oppressive Third World
dictatorships and kleptocrats via “climate finance” reparations. Trump
declared on the campaign trail that he would “cancel” the UN scheme and
stop sending U.S. tax dollars to advance the agenda. Before that, Trump
highlighted the role played by Beijing in advancing what he called the
man-made global-warming “hoax.” Unsurprisingly, Xi wants governments to
“stick to it instead of walking away from it.”
Communist Chinese minions echoed their Dear Leader’s phony narrative.
“It shows China is not underestimating the danger of a trade war
breaking out,” claimed He Weiwen, deputy director of the Beijing-based
Center for China and Globalization and a former “business attache” for
the regime in the United States. “China used to be a mere supporter of
the U.S.-led global economic order. Now, as the incoming U.S. presidency
shows signs of retreating, China is stepping up to take a leading
role.” Of course, that development was hardly organic, and was brought
about by the very same globalist establishment hobnobbing in the Swiss

Unsurprisingly, the establishment and its propagandists in the media
put an easily debunked spin on the developments. The fake-news narrative
pushed by Beijing’s propaganda organs and the Western establishment
media goes like this: Silly American voters surrendered their nation’s
lead role in promoting globalism by electing Trump, and now, the benign
Communist Chinese regime is stepping in to fill the void and maintain
sanity. In the real world, though, this magazine has been highlighting
the fact that senior globalist schemers — billionaire Rothschild
protégé George Soros, the Rockefeller dynasty, Henry Kissinger, the
Council on Foreign Relations, and more — have long been grooming the
ruthless Chinese dictatorship to take a lead role in their totalitarian
“New World Order.” The day may have just come sooner than some globalist planners imagined.
As if on cue, Western globalists and their lackeys provided plenty of
quotes fawning over the mass-murdering dictator to help drive the media
narrative. “In a world marked by great uncertainty and volatility the
world is looking to China,” claimed World Economic Forum boss Klaus
Schwab before welcoming Xi to the stage, confusing extremist Western
globalists with “the world,” as if the two were interchangeable. Former
Swedish Prime Minister Carl Bildt, a Bilderberg meeting attendee
embroiled in endless scandals, echoed the bogus narrative: “There is a
vacuum when it comes to global economic leadership, and Xi Jinping is
clearly aiming to fill it. With some success.” Eurasia Group boss Ian
Bremmer, meanwhile, was widely quoted claiming that the reaction of
Davos globalists to Xi’s speech was “success on all counts.”
At the summit in Davos, the outgoing Obama administration, perhaps
the most openly globalist in U.S. history, sent Secretary of State John
Kerry and Vice President Joe Biden, both of whom fit right in among the
Big Government-loving cronies and globalist schemers imagining
themselves as the “global elite.” Trump did send an adviser, Anthony
Scaramucci, who said that if the Chinese “really believe in globalism,
and they really believe in the words of Lincoln, they have to reach now
towards us and allow us to create this symmetry.” The “path to globalism
in the world is through the American worker and the American middle
class,” he claimed in a somewhat confusing statement, adding that “we
want to have a phenomenal relationship with the Chinese.” His boss,
Trump, has accused Communist China of devaluing its currency and ripping
off America with help from domestic globalist stooges.
No matter what propaganda and platitudes the globalists in Davos pump
out about “responsive” and “inclusive” rule over humanity, popular
outrage is expected to continue growing against the establishment and
its globalism, attacks on liberty, and other outrages perpetrated
against everyday citizens. The developments in Davos are yet more
evidence that the globalist-communist axis is circling the wagons
against humanity. But with supposedly “liberal” and “capitalist”
globalists getting in bed with a ruthless Communist Party mass-murderer infamous for savage political persecution, censorship, and oppression,
the mask is coming off — and that is good news for mankind. “Here, we
have the global elite embracing Xi as the anti-Trump,” King’s College of
London War Studies Emeritus Professor Lawrence Freedman was quoted as
saying in the Wall street Journal. In other words, globalists
are finally coming out of the closet as ruthless totalitarians, dropping
any pretense of “democracy” and “human rights.”
With American and British voters obviously fed up with the
establishment’s agenda for what top globalists and Chinese Communists
regularly tout as the “New World Order” — basically totalitarian global
rule by a tiny self-appointed elite — the schemers are undoubtedly
plotting their next move. That means this is a very dangerous situation
for America and the world. But now that the globalist alliance with
Beijing is beyond dispute and globalists are openly identifying
themselves as co-conspirators with the murderous totalitarians enslaving
the people of China, the American people and their elected officials
must act accordingly. The upcoming swamp draining should focus on all of
the globalists in Davos willing to spit on American voters and join

has converted to Islam by deleting everything on her Instagram account
except for the Arabic greeting “Alaikum salam” (upon you be peace).Her mother has denied the
claim, but Lohan, who lives in Dubai, has not, even as congratulations
have poured in from Muslims around the world. If the reports are true,
then Lohan, who for years has worked hard at amassing a reputation as a
celebrity train wreck, has just made her worst career move yet.Lohan has fueled this kind of speculation in the past, saying in
2015: “My very close friends, who have been there for me a lot, in
London are Saudi and they gave me the Qur’an and I brought it to New
York because I was learning. It opened doors for me to experience
spiritually, to find another true meaning. This is who I am.”She didn’t say what “true meaning” she found in Qur’anic injunctions
sanctioning wife-beating (Qur’an 4:34), devaluing of women’s testimony
(Qur’an 2:282) and inheritance rights (Qur’an 4:11), allowance for
polygamy (Qur’an 4:3), or mandate of warfare against and subjugation of
unbelievers (Qur’an 9:29), but that’s just the beginning of the
absurdity.Is Lindsay Lohan prepared to venture out in public with everything
covered except her face and hands, as per Muhammad’s injunction (Abu

male guardian, as per Islamic law? Is she happy with being judged

converts to Islam know about their new religion could have been taken
from a President Barack Obama
speech: that it is a noble, great religion, a religion of peace, and
that those who raise concerns about jihad terrorism are racist, bigoted
xenophobes.So what’s not to like? Converts and prospective converts are never
told about how so many converts to Islam end up as jihad terrorists,
most notably including John Walker Lindh, the “Marin County Mujahid” who
was discovered fighting alongside the Taliban and al-Qaeda against
American troops in Afghanistan, and Adam Gadahn, the self-described
“revolting geek of mass proportions” who, like Lindh, discovered Islam
through rap music and black grievance theater (neither were black, but
both wished they were), read the Qur’an and realized that one sure-fire
way to please Allah was to wage jihad against infidels, and set out to
do just that.Gadahn, before he was killed in a drone strike, rose high in the
ranks of al-Qaeda, even making English-language videos addressed to the
American people and introduced by al-Qaeda chief Ayman al-Zawahiri
himself. In them, Gadahn’s revolting geekiness is on full display, as he
smacks his lips nervously, pedantically argues for the falsity of
Christianity and the truth of Islam, and issues threats with a bravado
bred at the console of a thousand video games. Gadahn, Lindh, and
numerous other converts illustrate the appeal of conversion to Islam
among the psychically marginal, who find comfort in the fact that Islam
has a rule (and sometimes many rules) for every imaginable human
activity, relieving them of the responsibility of having to make tough
moral and ethical decisions themselves.That may be what appeals to Lindsay Lohan, the very epitome of the
rootless celebrity who left her moral compass behind so long ago that
she may not even remember having one. It is extraordinarily unlikely, of
course, that even if she has converted to Islam, that she will follow
Lindh, Gadahn, and so very many other converts into jihad terror
activity; however, she would do well to ponder this phenomenon, and ask
herself why so many Americans who have converted to Islam have somehow
gotten the idea that their new religion commands them to commit treason
and mass murder.That would, of course, require her to read that Qur’an she has been
carrying around attentively, and to think for herself. No doubt that is
just what her Saudi friends want her to do as well. If she really did
it, she would put the rumors of conversion to rest once and for all. But
that would require bucking Hollywood’s smart set and the Leftist
intelligentsia’s received wisdom. Thus far in her outlandish public
career, Lindsay Lohan has not demonstrated the courage to do that. But
stranger things have happened.

The sellers, restaurateur Isaac Kestenberg and his now-estranged
wife, Claudia, bought the modest five-bedroom house in Jamaica Estates
for $782,500 in 2008. The Kestenbergs “received a big, fat check to
close very fast, with no contingencies,” Misha Haghani, of auction house
Paramount Realty USA, tells Gimme Shelter.
The new owner, though, isn’t planning to stick around — and in fact is planning to flip the property.
Haghani’s firm is auctioning the Tudor on the new buyer’s behalf on
Jan. 17, just days before Trump’s inauguration. The Kestenbergs first
put the home, located at 85-15 Wareham Place, on the market for $1.65
million in June with a traditional broker.
The price later dropped to $1.2 million.
In September, Trump told Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show” that he
wanted to buy it back. The beleaguered home was then slated to go to
auction on Oct. 19, the evening of a presidential debate, for a measly
minimum bid of $849,000. But the couple yanked it off the auction block
at the last minute — on a gamble that Trump could win the election.
He did, and the home shot up in value. These presidential childhood homes, Haghani says, “are very rare.”
The new buyer is a sophisticated New York real estate investor who
understands the risk of an auction and who believes that the home is
worth far more than he paid.”
Experts previously told The Post that the home could be worth up to
$10 million to wealthy investors who might turn it into a museum.
Developer Fred Trump, the president-elect’s father, built the home in
1940. By the time the Donald was 4 years old, the family moved to a
larger brick mansion around the corner. While the home is modest by
Trump standards, with nary a touch of glitz or accent of gold in sight,
it still features a stately formal dining room, a fireplace, a sun room,
a paneled study, a “summer kitchen” and a five-car driveway with a
two-car detached garage.
The Jan. 19 auction represents a “truly once in a lifetime
opportunity for a bidder to name their price to own a piece of history,”
Haghani says, adding that this time there will be no minimum bid. To
place a bid, potential buyers must pay $20 on the Paramount Realty website.
She did not go public or take any action
against Mr. Trump at that time, however, because she decided that Mr.
Trump’s behavior had either been an aberration, a test, or that he may
even have regretted or been ashamed of his behavior.
The lawsuit alleges the following:
“In
October 2016, that all changed. On October 7th, when Trump’s own
recorded, crude and vulgar comments to Billy Bush on the Access
Hollywood tapes recorded in 2005 were broadcast, it became clear that
Trump’s sexually inappropriate behavior towards Ms. Zervos was entirely
consistent with Trump’s own words, and his belief that he had the right
to sexually assault women – and even to boast about it. Then at the
October 9th presidential debate, Trump told the world a boldface lie: he
stated in response to a direct question from Anderson Cooper that he
had not ever done any of the things that he had bragged about to Billy
Bush.”
Ms. Summer further alleges in the lawsuit:
“For
the first time, Summer Zervos saw Trump’s behavior towards her for what
it was: that of a sexual predator who had preyed on her and other women.
She realized that she was just one of many women who had been
victimized by Trump’s predatory conduct. Ms. Zervos could no longer
rationalize or excuse Trump’s behavior by telling herself that his
behavior had been a mistake or an isolated incident for which he might
even be ashamed. Trump had no shame. His own boasting to Billy Bush made
clear that his behavior was intentional.
Ms. Zervos knew that
Donald Trump had lied – to the country and to the world – and knew that
the statements he made to Billy Bush were not just words or “locker
room” talk, but were evidence of his pattern of misconduct towards
women. Ms. Zervos felt a responsibility to inform the public of the true
facts. It was unacceptable to stand by and allow a presidential
candidate to lie openly, with impunity, to the American public. She
came forward – as a number of other Trump victims did – to inform the
public of the facts she knew were true, to make clear that Donald Trump
had kissed and groped her without her consent, repeatedly.”
The
lawsuit goes on to allege, “And what did Donald Trump, the liar and
misogynist do, to cover up his lies? He lied again, and debased and
denigrated Ms. Zervos with false statements about her.

The PC movement continues to barrel through college campuses across
the country with extraordinary steam as exemplified by a new campaign
against so-called offensive language at the University of
Wisconsin-River Falls, in which students are asked to avoid innocuous
words and phrases like “you guys” and “crazy.” The school published a
guide for its “Check Yourself Educational Campaign” in which it lists a set of terms and words that are said to be offensive.
“Sometimes we say things without realizing the impact they may have
on others,” suggests the campaign. “Take time to educate yourself about
language and the histories of oppression. This list is not extensive,
but touches on common identities and concepts. Read them. Consider them.
Understand them. And Check Yourself before you use them.”
While a number of the expressions found within the guide would
generally be classified as offensive, such as racial slurs, derogatory
terms, and curse words, others are harmless colloquialisms.
The guide spends a lot of time discussing terminology that can be perceived as offensive by the LGBTQ community.
For example, it instructs students to avoid asking about the gender
of a trans person from someone other than the transgender individual.
Similarly, students are not allowed to make claims that bisexuality does
not exist and that people are simply either gay or straight. The
reason? “This denies the fluidity of sexuality and dismisses people’s
experiences and definitions of self.” At the same time, however,
students are asked not to make such statements as “I think everyone is
really bisexual” because it then denies bisexual students of their
individuality as bisexuals.
It also prohibits students from using terms like “she-male,”
“she-he,” and “tranny,” as they “dehumanize transgender women.” It asks
students to stop exclaiming that something is “so gay” as a “negative
adjective.” All derogatory terms for homosexuals such as “faggot” and
“dyke” appear on the list.
The guide also showcases an underlying anti-male attitude, as it
takes a stand on using words referring to “people with vaginas to
express that someone is weak or emotional dehumanizes women and
perpetuates misogyny and sexism” but makes no such point regarding men
and derogatory words typically used for males.
It instructs students to avoid using terminology having to do with
female promiscuity, such as “ho” and “slut.” The reasoning is bizarre as
it seems to indicate that racism somehow plays into the use of these
words. It also seems to justify a sexually promiscuous lifestyle as one
that should be accepted. The guide asserts that the use of these terms
does the following: “Dismisses anyone seen as being ‘too sexual’,
particularly sex workers, women, LGBTQIA+ people, and people of color.
Perpetuates negativity towards sex itself. Promotes a sexual double
standard.”
Additionally, students are asked to avoid the phrase “illegal aliens”
because it apparently reduces undocumented immigrants to “something
less than human.”
Students are discouraged from using terms like “ghetto” or “ratchet”
because it associates “people of color” with negative characteristics of
being “poor” or “dangerous.”
The guide also asks students to avoid terminology that would amount
to body-shaming, specifically by referring to someone as fat, as the
guide claims such a word reinforces “harmful assumptions that fat people
are gluttonous and are fat because they have no constraints around
food.” Students are asked not to refer to themselves as fat for the same
reasons.
It continues by stating that the term audaciously implies “that there
is an acceptable amount of food to eat and anything more is disgusting,
or that enjoying too much food is disgusting.”
“Ugly” also appears on the list, because it somehow “can be connected
back to white supremacist, ableist, sizeist standards of beauty.”
Any reference to a person’s inability to execute a task, such as
“retarded,” “lame,” “dumb,” and “crazy” are also no-nos because they
allegedly target “mental, emotional, and physical disabilities as
objects for ridicule.”
But of all the items prohibited by the guide, perhaps the most absurd
is the phrase “you guys,” which apparently generalizes “a group of
people to be masculine,” and fails to properly address the various
identities of those in the room.
The guide, like all other PC efforts, is yet another attempt at
preventing hurt feelings. It contributes to students’ inflated sense of
self and their delusions that they should never have to experience
confrontation or differing viewpoints that they may perceive as
offensive. Of course, the PC movement encourages all viewpoints to be
accepted, unless they are conservative or Christian. Those are the
viewpoints deemed hateful, and anyone holding them should obviously be
told they are wrong.
Institutions of higher education are doing a dramatic disservice to
their students by guarding them from all that can hurt their egos. Greg
Lukianoff, a constitutional lawyer and the president and CEO of the
Foundation for Individual Rights in Education, and Jonathan Haidt, a
social psychologist who studies the American culture wars, addressed
this very issue in the September 2015 issue of The Atlantic in an article entitled “The Coddling of the American Mind.”
They contend that political correctness has morphed into an even more
restrictive movement that not only seeks to limit free speech but also
attempts to punish anyone who interferes with those goals, which fails
to prepare students for real-world scenarios. They wrote:
These PC efforts encourage students to avoid all that they fear and
all that offends them, thereby further increasing their sensitivity to
things that may otherwise have not offended them. “In the name of
emotional well-being, college students are increasingly demanding
protection from words and ideas they don’t like,” Lukianoff and Haidt
wrote.
Schools such as the University of Wisconsin-River Falls are only too
happy to comply. And as long as the students remain on campus, they may
be able to safely avoid being offended, but who will protect them when
they graduate?

Concerns are being raised by a prominent pro-family organization after country music star Carrie Underwood, who has expressed her support for same-sex “marriage” and attends a church that allows practicing homosexuals to serve in ministry, recently appeared at a major Christian conference attended by tens of thousands of college-age youth.
The American Family Association (AFA) has penned an open letter
to Louie Giglio, leader of the annual Passion Conference and pastor of
Atlanta’s Passion City Church, to express concern about Underwood’s
participation in the event held January 2-4 at the Atlanta Dome.
The yearly conference regularly features worship music from
artists such as Chris Tomlin, Kristian Stanfill and Crowder, as well as
Bible teaching from speakers like Giglio and Francis Chan. This year,
Underwood, who had not been advertised as a guest, took the stage with
Crowder near the end of the performance of the song “Lift Your Head
Weary Sinner,” and also led the tune “Something in the Water.”
“Louie, if I can be completely transparent, I was very
frustrated that you would allow [Underwood] to help lead thousands of
people in worship. My frustration quickly turned to disappointment and
then to sadness,” wrote AFA Director of Outreach, Wesley Wildmon.
“With the many Christian artists who believe and teach the
full counsel of God’s Word available to lead worship at Passion, why
would you choose one who publicly states homosexuality is not a sin?” he
asked. “Your approval gives thousands of unsaved or weak Millennials an
untruthful image of what the Bible says about marriage.”
Wildmon clarified that he isn’t saying that Underwood should
be shunned altogether, but that her public remarks should give reason
for pause to provide a platform to someone that supports an unbiblical
view of marriage.
“It should go without saying, but I will say it anyway: her
denial of God’s Word should not keep you from being friends and
encouraging her, but it should give you hesitance in inviting her to
partner with your ministry,” he wrote.
As previously reported, Underwood,
who attends GracePointe Church in Nashville with her husband Mike
Fisher, announced in 2012 that she supports same-sex “marriage.”
“As a married person myself, I don’t know what it’s like to
be told I can’t marry somebody I love, and want to marry,” she told The
Independent. “I can’t imagine how that must feel. I definitely think we
should all have the right to love, and love publicly, the people that we
want to love.”
“Our church is gay friendly,” Underwood continued. “Above
all, God wanted us to love others. It’s not about setting rules, or
[saying] ‘everyone has to be like me.’ No. We’re all different. That’s
what makes us special. We have to love each other and get on with each
other. It’s not up to me to judge anybody.”
She also criticized “people who use the Bible for hate,”
remarking, “That’s not how I would want myself as a Christian to be
represented.”
In light of her comments, AFA asked that Giglio be more careful about who he invites to the event in the future.
“I am writing to plead with you to consider the clarity of
God’s Word on marriage and reflect on it in the artist you choose for
next year,” Wildmon said. “It is God who has blessed you with this
platform and it is God who can remove His hand of blessing if you become
careless with His principles.”
Following her appearance at the Passion Conference this
month, Underwood thanked organizers on social media for allowing her to
be a part of the event.
“What an incredible night @passion268! Thanks for letting me
be a small part of it! & thanks @crowdermusic for letting me crash
your set!” she wrote.
Passion likewise expressed excitement over Underwood’s
performance, Tweeting, “Thanks @crowdermusic for an amazing night of
music and to our special guest @carrieunderwood for joining us at
Passion 2017! What at start!”
Giglio has not responded to press inquiries about the matter.

I hope this letter finds you well. I have been seeing this year’s
Passion Conference in the headlines and images from it are flooding my
social media feeds. It is amazing how God has used you and your wife in
this way. Only He could bring your vision from a few students at your
house to over 50,000 in the Georgia Dome. That’s not to mention how
Passion is now taking place in multiple locations and streaming to
countless more. Myself and many others praise God for the platform He
has given you!
The life-changing impact of Passion is not an abstract idea for me. I was one of the 40,000+ to attend in 2012. I can speak firsthand when I say
I experienced the Holy Spirit while I was there. The teaching was solid
and the worship was deep. My friends and I took many notes. Passion
2012 was a spiritual milestone in my life to say the least.
The most popular headline and image circling social media thus far
this week show the performance of Carrie Underwood. Louie, if I can be
completely transparent, I was very frustrated that you would allow her
to help lead thousands of people in worship. My frustration quickly
turned to disappointment and then to sadness. Carrie Underwood encourages and supports homosexual marriage which the Word of God does not (1 Corinthians 6:12-20).
In fact, it calls us to flee from it and all other sexual sin. Our
message as Christians to those who practice homosexuality should reflect
that of Jesus in Matthew 19:4-6,
“Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made
them male and female, and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father
and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one
flesh’? So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has
joined together let not man separate.”
With the many Christian artists who believe and teach the full
counsel of God’s Word available to lead worship at Passion, why would
you choose one who publicly states homosexuality is not a sin? Would you
invite a well-known artist who stated publicly that using porn is
honoring to God to speak or sing at Passion? I do not ask this with a
facetious attitude but the sincere hope of making a point. God has given
you such a major platform with Millennials it is disheartening to see
your lack of concern for biblical clarity on marriage in such a chaotic
era. Your approval gives thousands of unsaved or weak Millennials an
untruthful image of what the Bible says about marriage. It should go
without saying, but I will say it anyway: her denial of God’s Word
should not keep you from being friends and encouraging her, but it
should give you hesitance in inviting her to partner with your ministry.
Louie, I am 27 years old and one of the most important ideas I have
learned to cling to in my few short years of ministry is the difference
between preference and principle. The genre of music, what age group to
focus on, what topic to teach, etc. are preferences. They are important,
but only preferences. Someone may prefer contemporary music and another
rap. Neither is wrong. The Word of God is not a preference, but principles God has spoken. God is right about marriage and Carrie Underwood is wrong.
I am writing to plead with you to consider the clarity of God’s Word
on marriage and reflect on it in the artist you choose for next year. It
is God who has blessed you with this platform and it is God who can
remove His hand of blessing if you become careless with His principles. I
completely understand the desire of attracting more people so you can
present them with the eternal truth of the gospel. The strategy behind
it is wise, but strategy must not usurp biblical principle. Just as the
Lord continues to help me distinguish between preference and principle I
pray you allow Him to help you. “For our appeal does not spring from
error or impurity or any attempt to deceive, but just as we have been
approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not to
please man, but to please God who tests our hearts. For we never came

The Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) filed a WARN
— Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification — with New York State’s
Department of Labor on Thursday, announcing that, effective April 15,
2017, it would be closing its doors and laying off 22 employees. The
CGI’s stated reason: “Discontinuation of the Clinton Global Initiative.”
Following the election, foreign governments that had been regular
donors began cutting their contributions to the Clinton Foundation, some
severely. For example, news.com.au noted
that the Australian government “has not renewed any of its partnerships
with the scandal-plagued Clinton Foundation, effectively ending 10
years of taxpayer-funded contributions worth more than $88 million.” The
government of Norway, which had been contributing as much as $20
million a year to the foundation, cut its contribution by nearly 90
percent.
As noted by the New York Observer, these cuts indicate that
“the organization’s clout was predicated on donor access to the
Clintons, rather than its philanthropic work.”
Suggestions that the CGI, which called itself a “networking” adjunct
to the Clinton Foundation, was primarily an influence-peddling scheme to
enrich the Clintons in exchange for “access” arose in October. That’s
when the anti-secrecy group WikiLeaks published e-mails from Doug Band, a
co-founder of CGI, indicating how the “pay for access” scheme worked.
The Washington Post, a supporter of the Clinton candidacy for president, laid bare the details:
The closing of CGI confirmed Peter Schweizer’s conclusions in his book Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich,
that there are “serious and alarming questions of judgment, of possible
indebtedness to an array of foreign interests, and ultimately, of
[Hillary’s] fitness for high public office.”
As Forbes noted in its review of the book, “The timing of
policy decisions or international deals relative to donations,
transcends coincidence” while Harvard Law School professor Lawrence
Lessig observed, “On any fair reading, the pattern of behavior that
Schweizer has charged is corruption.”
As Schweizer reveals, the pattern is predictable and repeated
frequently: “Introductions are made. A deal is struck — usually to
exploit natural resources such as uranium, oil, or timber, on a large
and highly profitable scale. Soon after that, enormous contributions are
made to the Clinton Foundation from those who benefited from the deal,
while Bill is commissioned to deliver a series of highly-paid speeches.
Moreover, some of these deals require approval or review by the U.S.
government [which] fall within the purview of a powerful senator
[Hillary] or secretary of state [Hillary].”
Schweizer revealed how Hillary was involved in facilitating the
transfer of nearly 50 percent of U.S. uranium output to Russia,
benefiting large donors to her foundation. He revealed how Bill was paid
enormous sums for speeches given to foreign governments and businesses
which just happened to have matters pending before the State Department
while Hillary was secretary. He exposed how a visit by the Clintons to
Colombia was followed by the grant of lucrative logging rights to a
Canadian billionaire who also happened to be a Clinton Foundation donor.
But the river of financial largesse in exchange for access has dried
up. After all, when there’s no influence to peddle, what other reason
would there be to contribute?

The greatest “hatred, intolerance and injustice” against
humanity is perpetrated by Islamic supremacists and jihadists, but
Loretta Lynch is not speaking to them. Instead, in her parting speech
she is pontificating to Americans, even as Muslims are throwing gays off
rooftops and regularly viewing blacks as inferiors (and continuing to enslave
them in Sudan and Mauritania). In the face of all this and more, Lynch
once said that the “most effective response to terror is compassion,
unity, and love.”
Now she is saying:
Waves of hatred, waves of intolerance and injustice that
are still blowing in this country, and they seem to grow stronger the
more that we achieve.
Her beating down America in the face of our worst enemies is not only
unjust, but it fails to take into account that America has come a long
way since the civil rights movement (and elected her boss, a black
President, for two terms).
What, pray tell, has Obama done for the advancement of black people and for America overall? He facilitated the victimology narrative of Black Lives Matter, which “cheers violence,” and he emboldened jihadists worldwide, some of whom have allied with Black Lives Matter.
Obama’s legacy also includes his disempowering of America in his

In an unprecedented move, Donald Trump’s incoming White House
Press Secretary revealed Sunday that members of the alternative media,
and even prominent bloggers may be allowed to join the White House Press
Corps, and take part in press conferences in Washington.
In
an interview with Fox News Sunday, Sean Spicer, said that owing to “off
the chart” interest in the Trump administration, the president-elect is
thinking about relocating press briefings to a room with a larger
capacity.
Since 1970, all official press briefings have been held in the James S Brady room. Esquire magazine reported that the potential new venue could be the Old Executive Office Building, to the west of the White House.
“I know change is difficult sometimes,” Spicer said. “But sometimes change can actually be better.”
“There’s a lot of talk radio and bloggers and people that can’t fit
in right now and maybe don’t have a permanency because they’re not part
of the Washington elite media,” Spicer added.
“But to allow them
an opportunity to ask the press secretary or the president a question is
a positive thing. It’s more democratic.” he urged.
The reaction to Spicer’s comments from the Washington establishment has been predictably one of panic and alarm.
The
White House Correspondent Association (WHCA) which oversees which media
outlets are allowed to attend press briefings, said it would push
against the idea of involving less traditional media.
Jeff Mason,
the WHCA president and Reuters White House correspondent, said that in a
“constructive” meeting with Spicer, he had “emphasized the importance
of the White House press briefing room” because of how near it is to
West Wing officials.
“I made clear that the WHCA would view it as
unacceptable if the incoming administration sought to move White House
reporters out of the press work space behind the press briefing room,”
Mason said in a statement. “Access in the West Wing to senior
administration officials, including the press secretary, is critical to
transparency and to journalists’ ability to do their jobs.”
“We
object strenuously to any move that would shield the president and his
advisers from the scrutiny of an on-site White House press corps,” Mason
said.
The Guardian, which is one of the only 49 outlets represented in the press Corps, published a report expressing
derision over the idea of both Breitbart and Infowars having
representatives allowed to ask the President and other officials
questions.
The report suggested Breitbart was “racist” and made
claims, repeatedly disavowed by Alex Jones, that he believes the Sandy
Hook massacre to be a fake hoax:
The president-elect’s
campaign drew consistent support from numerous conservative talk radio
hosts and internet conspiracy theory sites, for instance Alex Jones’s
InfoWars. During the campaign, Trump took the unprecedented step of
appearing on Jones’s site, known as America’s foremost conservative
conspiracy theory outlet. Jones has previously dismissed the Sandy Hook
massacre, in which 20 elementary school students and six school staff
were murdered, as “completely fake”, and has branded the September 11
terror attacks an “inside job”.
Trump was interviewed for around
30 minutes by Jones in December 2015, and later called Jones a “nice
guy”. Jones claimed in November that Trump called him to thank him for
his support after winning the presidential election.
In
a related development, outgoing President Obama slammed the “corrosive
nature” of talk radio and what he described as “fake news,” while
throwing BOTH Trump and Hillary Clinton under the bus.
“You had
two of the most unpopular presidential candidates selected by the two
parties in history. Doesn’t that say something’s wrong, something
serious is wrong?” CBS anchor Steve Kroft asked.
“It indicates
that there is a lot of cynicism out there,”Obama responded, adding “It
indicates that the corrosive nature of everything from talk radio to
fake news to negative advertising has made people lack confidence in a
lot of our existing institutions. I think it indicates, at least on the
Democratic side, that we’ve got more work to do to strengthen our
grassroots networks.”

plan to kick off their devilry “with a bang,” starting with a
demonstration in front of Vice President-elect Mike Pence’s house,

It’s “our first
big activist plan,” a propagandist’s voice can be heard telling a large
crowd of cheering radicals who plan to participate in the shenanigans.
“We
got a bunch of folks who are going to be organizing that, it’s going to
be a lot of fun. It’s going to be his last few days living in Chevy
Chase before he moves into the Vice Presidential Residence — and we’re
going to send him off with a bang,” the organizer told the crowd.
But the organizer didn’t stop there. The radicals are intending to create a whole lot more chaos. Even the DeploraBall is on their list.
The organizer told the crowd:
“On the 19th is the DeploraBall, which is exactly what it sounds
like. The, all the alt-right, neo-Nazi’s, etc. etc.. This is their party
to celebrate Trump [and] we’re going to crash it,” the organizer said.
The “D.C. Anti-Fascist Coalition” is planning it.
Of course, they didn’t leave out Inauguration Day, Jan. 20, where the activists have “big” plans.
“There’s
stuff happening all day. […] A.N.S.W.E.R. [Act Now to Stop War and End
Racism] is doing their thing along the parade route. They’re going to be
along the parade route all day. They got a permit and a sound system
and a stage — that’s what they’ll be doing. We’ll be doing just about
everything else [unpermitted].”
“Early in the morning, we’re going
to be doing blockades. We’re going to be blocking checkpoints into the
security zones. We’re also going to be blocking roads and other modes of
transit into the event.”
“We are going to do everything we can from trying to stop people from being able to access the Inauguration.”

McPherson Square “different kinds of programming” will be “going on”

Without skipping a beat, at
10:00 a.m. an “unpermitted […] anti-fascist, anti-capitalist” march
will start, “leaving from Logan Square,” which will occur before the big
“resistance march” at 12 noon.
The Resistance March “leaves at
Columbus Circle and ends at McPherson Square,” where the group plans to
“have puppets coming,” along with a “flatbed truck” full of “dancers.”

The
organizer then goes on to call President-elect Trump a “fascist
maniac,” garnering cheers from the crowd and talks about crashing
various balls, such as the Inaugural Ball, terming the action “Operation
Ball Crusher,” which the crowd seemed to like.
It looks as if this will all make for an interesting week in D.C. where security will be at an all-time high with more than “three dozen agencies” participating.
