Clare M. Lopez, Vice President for Research and Analysis at the Center for Security Policy, is the co-author of the recently published book “Gülen and the Gülenist Movement: Turkey’s Islamic Supremacist Cult and its Contributions to the Civilization Jihad.” Fethullah Gülen is the head of a vast political network in Turkey that promotes theocracy and has infiltrated the Turkish state. Gülen lives in the U.S. where he has established a significant number of charter schools. Her remarks included commentary on Gülen's erstwhile ally, now opponent, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Lopez is a Senior Fellow at the London Center for Policy Research and a member of the Board of Advisors for the Canadian Mackenzie Institute. In 2016, she was named to Senator Ted Cruz’s presidential campaign national security advisory team. Since 2013, she has served as a member of the Citizens Commission on Benghazi. Formerly Vice President of the Intelligence Summit, she was a career operations officer with the Central Intelligence Agency, a professor at the Centre for Counterintelligence and Security Studies, Executive Director of the Iran Policy Committee from 2005-2006, and has served as a consultant, intelligence analyst, and researcher for a variety of defense firms. She was named a 2011 Lincoln Fellow at the Claremont Institute.
Already an advisor to EMP Act America, in February 2012 Ms. Lopez was named a member of the Congressional Task Force on National and Homeland Security, which focuses on the Electro-Magnetic Pulse (EMP) threat to the nation. She serves as a member of the Boards of Advisors/Directors for the Center for Democracy and Human Rights in Saudi Arabia, the United West, and the Voice of the Copts. She has been a Visiting Researcher and guest lecturer on counterterrorism, national defense, and international relations at Georgetown University.

The ‘Lion of London Bridge’ who was hailed a hero for fighting off knife-wielding jihadis during the terror attack said he is on an anti-terror watch list after being contacted by far-right anti-Islam supporters.



Roy Larner, 49, screamed, ‘f*** you, I’m Millwall,’ as he took on the knife murderers when they struck in June 2017 while he was enjoying a pint in the Black & Blue restaurant in Borough Market, in Southwark, south-east London.



But Mr Larner has since been placed on the Government’s Prevent programme over fears that he could become an extremist after he was contacted by far-right yobs.



He has had to attend de-radicalisation classes and police are monitoring him, the Sun reported.



Mr Larner said: ‘They treat me like a terrorist but I’m not political at all.



The 49-year-old required surgery after being slashed multiple times in the head and neck by Rachid Redouane and Yousseff Zaghba, who – along with third terrorist Khuram Butt – ended up killing eight and injuring 38 others.



He was released from hospital 12 days after the attack which left him with more than 80 stitches to his head, ear, arms and hands.



While in hospital, he was pictured propping himself up in bed with a ‘learn to run’ manual his friends had given him – which they said displayed ‘our south-east London sense of humour’.



Mr Larner said one of the attackers had shouted, ‘This is for Allah,’ and ‘Islam, Islam, Islam,’ when they struck….

The Southern Baptist Convention chose David Uth, pastor of First Baptist Church in Orlando, as the president of the Pastor’s Conference for the next year’s annual meeting. Many should be reminded about who Uth is, and ask the question whether or not SBC leadership will be making strides for LGBTQ inclusion along with the rest of their latest compromises.



David Uth hosted a gay-affirming LGBTQ event in the wake of the Orlando gay night club shooting at his church, FBC Orlando. In case you have forgotten, #LoveOrlando was a gay-straight hug fest that happened at the church in the shooting’s aftermath. Taking the stage at that event was pastor Larry G. Mills, who said the following:













We’re not peculiar because of race or gender or creed. But in Orlando we are peculiar because of E. Pluribus Unum. Out of many come one. We are peculiar because we have leadership that knows how to fight….We are peculiar because we know how to let theological differences and disputes and factions not get in the way of love and Christ. We are peculiar…because we believe in the Word, and what others would have against us, what others would show as a stumbling stone, we’ve elevated to be the head of the corner, and right now, no matter what people [inaudible] might think, that LGBTQ area is the head cornerstone, and we are here to lift up and magnify, and allow them to know, that regardless of people’s opinion, regardless of where we are, love triumphs over evil.





There was no correction whatsoever (either during or after the event) of this pastor claiming that the LGBTQ “community” was the chief cornerstone. You can watch the video below.

Uth is the same pastor who let a Seventh Day Adventist cult member preach at his church. He also complained when Ben Carson was disinvited from the 2015 Pastor’s Conference, even though Carson is an Adventist.



Now, Uth is running the conference. We’ll see what happens, but it does not bode well for the SBC. They seem to have no doctrinal standards whatsoever these days.

Would Casey and the state representatives co-organized events with a Nazi group? What’s the difference? CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case — so named by the Justice Department. 
CAIR officials have repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups. Several former CAIR officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror. CAIR’s co-founder and longtime Board chairman (Omar Ahmad), as well as its chief spokesman (Ibrahim Hooper), have made Islamic supremacist statements about how Islamic law should be imposed in the U.S. (Ahmad denies this, but the original reporter stands by her story.) CAIR chapters frequently distribute pamphlets telling Muslims not to cooperate with law enforcement. CAIR has opposed virtually every anti-terror measure that has been proposed or implemented and has been declared a terror organization by the United Arab Emirates. CAIR’s Hussam Ayloush in 2017 called for the overthrow of the U.S. government. CAIR’s national outreach manager is an open supporter of Hamas.


Casey is a Democrat, but there are plenty of Republican Useful Idiots as well. That any American politician of any political camp would appear at any function of this unsavory group speaks to the confusion of our age, and of how casual U.S. officials have become in their acceptance of hatred for the country they are supposed to be serving.







“Pennsylvania Officials Join Bigoted CAIR for ‘Islamophobia’ Events,” by Steven Emerson, IPT News, June 27, 2019:





Last week, the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT) identified charitable organizations that recently showcased radical Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) activists with a history of bigoted and anti-Semitic views. Philanthropic organizations and foundations should be held accountable for failing to do their due diligence and looking into the backgrounds of the members they promote publicly. U.S. politicians, however, must be held to an even higher standard while representing their constituencies.



Unfortunately, state and local officials participated in several events co-hosted by CAIR’s Philadelphia chapter (CAIR-PA) earlier this month.



On June 6, U.S. Sen. Bob Casey, D-Pa., organized a town hall meeting at Dickinson College and invited CAIR-PA Advisory Board member Aaysha Noor to moderate, according to a CAIR-PA update. Another town hall, taking place June 13 in Devon, Pa., “was co-sponsored by the offices of [state] Rep. Joe Webster and Rep. Melissa Shusterman.” On June 19, CAIR-PA co-hosted a second town hall meeting in Carlisle, Pa. including state representatives Movita Johnson-Harrell and Patty Kim. Both meetings focused on “Islamophobia” and condemning anti-Muslim bigotry.



Either these politicians support CAIR’s radical agenda, or their staff failed to do their homework on the organization. Like other U.S.-based Islamists, CAIR-PA’s leaders have a long history of making bigoted allegations.



In a 2010 op-ed in the Philadelphia Inquirer, Moein Khawaja, then executive director of CAIR-Philadelphia, leveled dual allegiance accusations at a pro-Israel lobby group. Khawaja argued that “CAIR is concerned about America, not Palestine, Pakistan, or any other foreign land – unlike the Emergency Committee for Israel and its supporters, who place Israel first and America a distant second.”



This view is similar to recent comments by U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., who leveled dual loyalty allegations against American supporters of Israel. Accusing Jews of holding more allegiance to the Jewish state than to their home nation is a form of anti-Semitism.



In addition, Khawaja’s claim about CAIR’s focus is false. CAIR and its officials routinely insert the organization into the debate over Israel and Palestine. After angrily rejecting a question about Hamas in 2013 as a bigoted effort to drag CAIR “into the Middle East affairs,” CAIR-Los Angeles leader Hussam Ayloush attacked Mayor Eric Garcetti for endorsing the U.S. decision to move its embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The move was offensive “not only to the 12 million Palestinian Christians and Muslims, but also to the 1.8 billion Muslims worldwide,” Ayloush said last month.



CAIR-PA’s current executive director, Jacob Bender, has since issued some outlandish statements of his own in recent years. For over a year, Israeli forces have been containing violent demonstrations on the Israel-Gaza border, which continue to this day. The vast majority of the Palestinian casualties in these confrontations are either formal members or affiliates of terrorist organizations like Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. In fact, Hamas is in complete control of the tempo fueling these violent protests. Yet Bender, like other Hamas apologists, frames the ongoing border conflict as an Israeli “massacre.”



“Here in the US, however, Israel’s massacre is met with either silence, or worse, open support for Israel in driving back what they deem to be barbaric Arab hordes bent upon visiting another Holocaust upon the innocent Jews and their ‘Jewish State.’ Shockingly, many Israelis and their supporters in the US are almost euphoric at the number of Arab dead,” Bender wrote in May 2018.



Without any evidence, Bender claims that many pro-Israel supporters are elated when presented with Palestinian deaths. This is a bigoted assumption that blanketly paints pro-Israel Americans as evil. Bender has not rescinded his initial statement after Palestinian terrorist leaders acknowledged that most of the casualties were their operatives.



It’s tough to hear how Bender “wanted to play a role as a bridge builder” when he has a history of demonizing the Jewish state and its supporters.



In a 2014 letter, Bender explained that he works for CAIR “because this is a courageous organization that repeatedly denounces injustice and violence around the world, no matter the victim, no matter the perpetrator. Whether it is ISIS beheading American journalists in Iraq, or Israeli troops killing hundreds of Palestinian civilians in Gaza, or the Taliban murdering over 150 school children in Pakistan.”



In that statement alone, Bender reveals two of CAIR’s most prominent and disturbing worldviews. First, that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) is morally equivalent to jihadist groups who indiscriminately target civilians using the most brutal methods. CAIR officials Hussam Ayloush and Zahra Billoo have repeatedly compared Americans who move to Israel and join the IDF to ISIS terrorists. Second, Bender’s argument shows that CAIR and its officials are incapable of denouncing Hamas or Hizballah as militant organizations that engage in terrorism solely because those groups’ primary targets are Israelis and Jews.



This type of sentiment should be condemned, not rewarded with ongoing political engagement from Pennsylvania officials…

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A “Storybook Pride Prom” for teenagers that had been scheduled for Friday night, where youth were invited to dress as their favorite book characters — including in drag, was canceled due to stated “emotional and physical safety” concerns and a lack of “adequate security.” The event had generated an impassioned response from both sides, with tickets selling out on one hand but also being opposed by others as being inappropriate for children.



“You’re invited to create your own ‘happily ever after’ at The Storybook Pride Prom!” the event page on the Jacksonville Public Library website read. “Come dressed inspired by your favorite book character — casual, formal, or in drag — whatever makes you feel great. Be you! Bring a date, come solo or with friends, and enjoy music, dancing, refreshments, a selfie station, and more!”



The prom, which was to be held at the Willowbranch Library, was geared toward 14 to 18-year-olds.



Drag queen BeBe Deluxe (Beatrice Palmer) was to have also appeared at the event, but without performing.







However, organizations such as Biblical Concepts Ministries raised concerns over the activity and called upon others to contact the library, mayor and city council to make their views known.



“We need to look into an ordinance that would bar programs inappropriate for children in our public facilities and taxpayer-funded facilities,” founder Raymond Johnson told local television station WJXT-TV.



He also outlined in an email to subscribers that he had spoken to three conservative members of city council, who agreed that the event was not appropriate.



On Monday, following the receipt of hundreds of phone calls on both sides of the issue, the Jacksonville Public Library system decided to cancel the event. Library system spokesman Chris Boivin said that the event was canceled because “adequate security” couldn’t be provided as “there is so much uncertainty based on so many comments that we received.”



“There were a lot for, but there [also] were an awful lot of people against, having this event,” he told WJXT-TV. “There were some things that could be construed as threats.”



“I made the call with the information I had at the time and that information was not anything that was an imminent threat,” Directory Tim Rogers also stated. “It was about the emotional and physical safety of the kids that they were inviting to this teen program, and that’s all it was.”

“We are disappointed that we cannot move forward with the event as planned and are now discussing alternatives in keeping with our original spirit and intent,” it said. “We stand by our decision to create the event, just as we stand by our decision to cancel it when we felt the teens’ safety could not be guaranteed.”



However, some are now upset that the event has been canceled and are angry both at library officials and Johnson. According to reports, an estimated 75 people held a demonstration outside the library during when the event was to have taken place. Many held rainbow flags or signs.



Some have called for Rogers to resign. Others have written opposing messages on Johnson’s Facebook page.



“Teaching kids to worship an imaginary friend who will grant all of their wishes if they give away 10% of their money is a better example of child abuse in my opinion,” one commenter wrote.



“As far as organized religion, you all are a bunch of hypocrites. … [W]e hear about molestation from clergy of the Catholic and Baptist churches. You need to look [at] judging yourselves before you judge others!” another stated.



“I hope the community organizes a protest against your church,” a third remarked.



“You all should die for what you did to those LGBT youths,” one lashed out.



As previously reported, the Bible teaches that all men are in the same predicament: All are born with the Adamic sin nature, having various inherent inclinations that are contrary to the law of God and unable to break free from the power of sin in and of themselves.



It was the love of God that sent Christ to take the punishment for guilty man, a doctrine called propitiation.



“For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him,” 2 Corinthians 5:21 states.



Isaiah 53:5-6 says, “He was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way, and the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.”



1 John 4:10 reads, “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”



The gospel message, or good news, is that Christ came to reconcile sinners at enmity with God, and that by the work of regeneration of the Holy Spirit, men can be born anew and set free from the power of sin. The same message calls upon men to repent and trust in Christ to save.



The late British preacher Charles Spurgeon once said, “If Christ has died for me, ungodly as I am, without strength as I am, then I cannot live in sin any longer. I must arouse myself to love and serve Him who has redeemed me. I cannot trifle with the evil that killed my best Friend. I must be holy for His sake. How can I live in sin when He has died to save me from it?”

The animated series “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” featured lesbian aunts during its final season, a writer for the show and an actress who gives voice to one of the aunts have confirmed.



“Introducing Aunt Holiday (ginger hair, voiced by me!) & Aunt Lofty, the lesbian pony couple debuting today on on ‘The Last Crusade’ episode of My Little Pony Season 9! #mylittlepony #proud,” tweeted Jackie Blackmore on June 15.



“@NicoleDubuc, @joshhaber and I doin’ what we can to bring more EQuality to EQuestria!! #PrideMonth,” Michael Vogel also tweeted on June 10. 



The two had previously appeared in the 2017 book “Ponyville Mysteries: Riddle of the Rusty Horseshoe,” according to Comics Beat. At that time, Vogel similarly had tweeted that the aunts were a “couple.”







“Are they really lesbians in the actual book?” one follower asked.



“Well, they aren’t sisters so …,” Vogel replied. “When I say ‘cute couple’ I’m saying that Aunt Holiday and Auntie Lofty are a cute couple. Yes.”



He explained to BuzzFeed earlier this month that he and co-writer Nicole Dubuc “thought this was a great opportunity to organically introduce an LGBTQ couple in the series, and we asked Hasbro and they approved it.”



“With Josh and Nicole running the final season together, it was something we all wanted to do — bring this out couple into the final season and make them ‘officially’ a part of the MLP world,” Vogel further explained.



The episode, entitled “The Last Crusade,” subtly incorporates the aunts into the story, as viewers realize that the two live together.



Some were pleased with the depiction of the animated characters as being lesbian, and others said that it is not appropriate to put such concepts in children’s entertainment.



“It’s great that you finally have the aunts in it. Even if it’s a bit subtle, it’s a really important step in the right direction,” one Twitter user commented.



“It means a lot to the LGBTQ community to finally see our stories being told in cartoons. There is nothing wrong with loving who you are and who you love,” another opined.



“How about you keep your agendas off our screens? How about giving families EQual opportunity to discuss this in their own homes without you forcing it?” another wrote.



“And we are done with My Little Pony. My daughter will not be watching this show anymore. We have been supporters for years buying the episodes, movie and toys. Their loss,” a fourth lamented.



As previously reported, last month, the PBS children’s cartoon “Arthur” depicted elementary school teacher Mr. Ratburn as “marrying” an aardvark named Patrick.



In 2017, an episode of the preschooler-geared Disney Junior cartoon “Doc McStuffins”featured an animated depiction of the lesbian mothers of two children. Disney also raised concerns the same year when it aired its first-ever same-sex kissing scene during a broadcast of its cartoon “Star vs. the Forces of Evil.”



Last summer, World of Wonder’s WOW Presents Plus aired the cartoon “Drag Tots,” voiced by cast members of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and featuring four pint-sized drag queens who attend grammar school. Netflix also announced its animated series “Super Drags,” which centers on the fictional tales of drag queen superheroes.



The late Anglican preacher J.C. Ryle once said, “Men try to cheat themselves into the belief that sin is not quite so sinful as God says it is, and that they are not so bad as they really are.”



The Bible teaches that all men inherit the sin nature of Adam and are “by nature, the children of wrath” (Ephesians 2:3) and the enemies of God. Jesus said in John 3:3 — the same message for all — the men must therefore be born again, and be transformed from being in Adam to being in Christ, or they cannot see the Kingdom of Heaven.



A man who has been regenerated by the spirit of God consequently no longer lives unto himself, but to please the Lord.



2 Corinthians 5 exhorts, “And that He died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto Him which died for them and rose again. … Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”



“Examine yourselves, then, I pray you, whether you are born again. Have you good solid reasons for thinking that you have put off the old man which is corrupt, and put on the new man which is created after God in holiness?” Ryle asked.



“Are you renewed in the spirit of your minds? Are you bringing forth the fruits of the flesh or the fruits of the Spirit? Are you carnally-minded or heavenly-minded? Are your affections with the world or with God? Are you natural men or are you spiritual men? Oh, but it were no charity in me to keep back this weighty truth; and it will be no wisdom in you to put off and delay considering it.”



On June 15, Vogel retweeted a video of a man dancing near several street preachers at an apparent homosexual pride event as one declared his hope that the Holy Spirit would “convict you of your rebellion against God” as “it’s time to wake up … It’s appointed for men once to die and then comes the judgment.”

The newcomers who need to be welcomed in this case are overwhelmingly Muslim, so this is clearly an extreme case of Islamopandering. But no one who cannot pledge allegiance to the United States of America should even be here, much less be pandered to. This shouldn’t even be a question.

A harbinger of things to come. Thanks to Angela Merkel, there will soon be many mosque squares, and very many new mosques, in Germany. And that’s great, right? We will all march together into the glorious multicultural future, won’t we? Well, Merkel apparently assumes we will, but there is no doubt that at least some of the Muslims she has welcomed harbor supremacist, authoritarian beliefs that will inevitably cause conflict in Germany in the future. But never mind: the only people calling attention to that eventuality are greasy Islamophobes.

The name of the square in Eilendorf district of the western German city of Aachen has been changed to “Moscheeplatz (Mosque Square)” with a ceremony held on Tuesday, with an aim of highlighting the importance of tolerance and unity.



The square is home to the Aachen Yunus Emre Mosque, which operates under the Turkish-Islamic Union for Religious Affairs (DITIB).



Speaking at the renaming ceremony for the 2,100-square-meter center, Turkey’s Consul General in Cologne Ceyhun Erciyes said that by taking this decision, the local authorities showed that the mosque is a beautiful reflection of harmony, integration, tolerance, unity and solidarity.



Erciyes stressed that, in light of the rise in anti-Muslim, anti-migrant hatred that some have incited to divide societies through fear, “We must raise our voices together against those who are fed by fear and hatred, and we must demonstrate our friendship and solidarity as it is here today.”



Speaking at the ceremony, Aachen Mayor Marcel Philipp of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) Party expressed his gratitude to everyone who contributed to the name-change, noting that renaming streets and squares is not an easy process in Germany.

North Carolina’s Governor Roy Cooper signed legislation (HB 388) into law that allows children over 10 years of age to receive the influenza vaccine at local pharmacies without being required to see a pediatrician and without a prescription. The law takes effect on Oct. 1, 2019.1 2



The minimum age at which a child is currently allowed to get the flu shot at a local pharmacy in North Carolina is 14. The new law also allows pharmacists to administer flu vaccines to children between six and 10 years of age if they have a doctor’s prescription.2



According to pharmacist Ashley Zande at Waynesville Pharmacy in Waynesville, North Carolina:





People find it a lot more convenient to come to the pharmacy oftentimes because we don’t require an appointment and we’re a lot more easily accessible than the doctors’ offices.3





Dr. Kimberly Bowen adds: “We are very quick about what we do. You don’t have to spend more than 5 minutes in here.”3



The new law also gives pharmacists in North Carolina the authority to administer a flu vaccine to a child six years of age and up if there is a “specific prescription order initiated by a prescriber following the physical examination of the patient by the prescriber.” Pharmacists are also allowed to administer the human papillomavirus vaccine (HPV) and the hepatitis A vaccine to patients over the age of 18.1 4



Currently, pharmacists in North Carolina can administer the following vaccines: pneumococcal polysaccharide or pneumococcal conjugate vaccines, herpes zoster vaccine, hepatitis B vaccine, meningococcal polysaccharide or meningococcal conjugate 26 vaccines and serogroup B meningococcal vaccines, tetanus-diphtheria, tetanus and diphtheria toxoids and pertussis and tetanus and 28 diphtheria toxoids and acellular pertussis, or tetanus toxoid vaccines.1



The growing shift towards giving pharmacists the authority to administer vaccines raises numerous concerns about the role of pharmacists, rather than physicians, in delivering vaccines to the public. There are safety concerns because pharmacists are pressured by corporations owning pharmacies to work faster in order to meet sales quotas.5



Among other safety issues are the lack of a physical exam prior to vaccination in a pharmacy setting and questions about whether pharmacists will consistently provide people with vaccine risk information before vaccines are administered and will effectively monitor, record and report vaccine reactions.

It is hard to imagine a country where half of the children born will be diagnosed with autism. Yet, that is the scenario that senior research scientist Stephanie Seneff, PhD of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s (MIT) thinks the United States may face in 2025. I wrote about this in my last article in The Vaccine Reaction titled “A Nation Where Half of the Children Become Autistic?“1



Think of it. If American families with children continue to have an average of two children per family,2 3 within six years the typical family in the U.S. will likely have one autistic child. That will be the new norm. By then, many Americans will have forgotten that in the 1980s, the autism rate in the U.S. was reported at 1 in 10,000 children,4 and that even as recently as the turn of the 21st century it was unusual to have or know someone whose child or grandchild had been diagnosed with symptoms of autism.



A future scenario in which half of the children born in this country will develop autism could be just around the corner. Yet, there appears to be relatively little urgency on the part of public health officials, doctors and educators to understand what is causing this historic change in the health profile of so many children and to consider all possible causes of the autism epidemic, leaving no stone unturned. The tripling of the numbers of vaccinations children get in the past three decades is a potential co-factor that is largely being ignored by leaders in the scientific and medical communities who stubbornly insist on taking the position that, “What must not be, cannot be.”5



As Harris Coulter and Barbara Loe Fisher wrote in their seminal book DPT: A Shot in the Dark, “It must not be true because, they think, whatever will we do if it is true?”5



There is no emergency health crisis in the U.S. right now that compares to the possibility that, in the future, one in two children born will develop autism. But there is one that is vaguely similar that may provide an indication of what is to come and that is evidence that there is a chronic illness epidemic that is already affecting millions of American children.



In 2001, NVIC co-founder and president Loe Fisher gave a presentation at a public workshop of the Institute of Medicine Immunization Safety Review Committee and said:





Individual and public health is not measured solely by an absence of infectious disease. Today, instead of epidemics of measles and polio, our children are experiencing epidemics of chronic disease and disability. In the past 20 years, rates of asthma and attention deficit disorder have more than doubled; diabetes and learning disabilities have tripled; and autism has increased by 300 percent or more in most states. Our public school systems are unable to build or staff special education classrooms fast enough to serve the millions of chronically disabled and ill children and the 425 billion dollar annual health care price tag to treat chronic disease continues to climb. The larger unanswered question is: has the increased administration of multiple vaccines in the first three years of life, when the brain and immune systems develop most rapidly, been an unrecognized co-factor in the epidemics of chronic disease and disability plaguing so many children today.6





A study published in 2011 in the journal Academic Pediatrics found that an estimated 54.1 percent of children in the U.S. suffered from at least one chronic illness.7 According to the study:





An estimated 43% of U.S. children (32 million) currently have at least 1 of 20 chronic health conditions assessed, increasing to 54.1% when overweight, obesity, or being at risk for developmental delays are included; 19.2% (14.2 million) have conditions resulting in a special health care need…7





Those statistics are now nearly a decade old, so it is likely that the problem has gotten worse. Additionally, for every child in the U.S. who has been diagnosed with a chronic illness, there are millions more who suffer from undiagnosed chronic illnesses.8 9



According to one source, 1 out of 5 children in the U.S. suffers from allergic eczema. One 1 of 6 children suffers from a mental health disorder, 1 in 6 from a learning disability, at least 1 in 8 from asthma, 1 in 10 from dyspraxia, at least 1 in 10 from ADHD, 1 in 12 from food allergies, 1 in 20 from pediatric depression or anxiety, 1 in 30 from severe mood dysregulation, 1 in 36 from autism, etc.7



A 2011 article in Age of Autism asked…





Why? When did school nurses become pharmaceutical specialists? When did reading and writing require an Epi-pen? Why does a jar of Skippy need a skull and crossbones for so many kids? When was Romper Room replaced by Early Intervention? And when did the gee-whiz days of youth come to mean G-tubes for feeding? Our kids are sick. Pediatrics has failed them miserably despite dozens of “well” visits before school age. What the hell has gone so wrong?10





Nobody seemed to know then, and nobody seems to know now.



As Judy Converse, MPH noted in a 2016 article, “Over half of U.S. children now suffer from a chronic condition, disability, or disease. Americans spend the least on food, the most on health care, have the most highly vaccinated kids, and have the sickest kids of any industrialized country.”11



She also asked the question, “When it comes to this topic of chronically ill kids, do you have moments that pierce the bubble of consciousness and take your breath away?”11



My answer to that question is a resounding YES! Every day. But I would add that the situation is nothing compared to what our country has been experiencing with autism and even less when compared to the catastrophe we’re headed for with autism in the next few years. In the meantime, those who have been entrusted with trying to figure out the cause of this health crisis are shrugging their shoulders and saying, “We just don’t know, but we’re real sure it couldn’t be vaccines. Besides, don’t you remember that debunked MMR study from two decades ago?”



It feels like the Titanic is sinking and all the crew can manage to do is busy itself rearranging the deck chairs.

The Gettys are probably the most influential contemporary worship musicians among fundamentalist and Independent Baptist churches. The Gettys are promoted by Bob Jones University, Majesty Music, Crown College of Powell, Tennessee, and West Coast Baptist College, among a great many others. At least 8 Getty songs are in the latest Majesty Music hymnal Rejoice Hymns, and 29 are in Hymns Modern and Ancient, compiled by Fred Coleman, head of BJU’s music department. But the Gettys are “conservative” only by the corrupted standard of this hour. They are clearly and irrefutably a bridge to the one-world “church” with its endless variety of heresies. This is because of their syncretistic music, their big-tent philosophy, and their ecumenical associations. The Gettys “fuse the music of their Irish heritage with the sounds of Nashville, their newly adopted home.” They list the Beatles as a major musical influence. Consider the Getty’s Sing 2019 conference in Nashville. The video advertisement features out-and-out rock and roll, women worship leaders, female musicians dancing in incredibly tight and immodest clothing, and heresy-laden speakers. What is “conservative” about this? Sing 2019 conference speakers include John Piper (inventor of the heresy of Christian Hedonism, disciple of the heretic C.S. Lewis, and promoter of “Christian” hip hop), D.A. Carson (who supports inclusive language Bible translation and holds the heresy of redaction criticism of the Gospels, claiming that we have only the ipissima vox Jesu, the authentic VOICE of Jesus, rather than imissima verba Jesus, the authentic WORDS of Jesus, An Introduction to the New Testament, 1992, p. 44), John MacArthur (who teaches that a sinner must be born again before he can believe and who promotes “Christian” hip hop and Christian rock music at his youth conferences), Anne Graham Lotz (Billy Graham’s female preacher daughter who attended the enthronement of Pope Benedict VI, said she thinks Pope John Paul II is in heaven, and applauded that pope’s efforts “to bridge the gaps between Protestants and Catholics and Jews and Catholics,” CNN, Apr. 8, 2005), Stuart Townend(charismatic in theology and practice, supporting such heresies as spirit slaying, holy laughter, and gibberish “tongues,” and participating in the radically ecumenical Alpha program with strong ties to Catholicism), and John Lennox (theistic evolutionist). Missing from the lineup are the Getty’s Roman Catholic friends Matt Maher and Máire, but though Roman Catholics aren’t scheduled to participate at Sing 2019, they are most definitely part of the Getty’s big tent. Instead of promoting the Gettys and pretending that they are “conservative,” Bible-believing Christian leaders should be exposing them and educating their people of the great dangers inherent in the entire realm of contemporary worship. Instead of building bridges to this world, they should be clearly and determinedly separating. “Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners” (1 Corinthians 15:33).

The Gettys – The Pied Pipers of Contemporary 
Worship Music

Keith and Kristyn Getty’s “contemporary hymns” are used widely among “traditional, non-contemporary” churches, because they are considered relatively safe.

At least eight of their songs are included in Majesty Music’s Rejoice Hymns. 

Twenty-nine of their songs are featured in Hymns Modern and Ancient, published by Heart Publications, a ministry of Steve Pettit Evangelistic Association and compiled by Fred Coleman who heads up Bob Jones University’s Department of Church Music.

Both Crown Baptist College and West Coast Baptist College, the two largest independent Baptist Bible colleges, perform Getty material in their services.

The Getty’s popular songs include “Don’t Let Me Lose My Wonder,” “In Christ Alone” (penned by Keith Getty and Stuart Townend), “Speak, Oh Lord,” and “The Power of the Cross.”

Typically, the lyrics are Scriptural and the tunes are not blaring rock & roll (though the Gettys can and do rock out in their concerts).

What could be wrong with this, then?

Among all of the contemporary worship musicians, I consider the Getty’s perhaps the most dangerous, because what they are offering is wrapped in a package that is attractive to “fundamentalists” – from their Irish brogue and their physical attractiveness, fairly conservative appearance, and effervescent cheerfulness to their foot-tapping, Emerald Isle-tinged music and the spiritual depth of their lyrics. They aren’t writing the typical CCM 7-11 music (7 words sung 11 times); their lyrics have scriptural substance. 

But that attractive, “conservative-appearing” package is a bridge to truly great spiritual danger.

The Gettys represent the exceedingly dangerous world of contemporary worship music as definitely as does Graham Kendrick or Darlene Zschech, and any bridges that Bible-believing churches build to the Gettys are bridges built to the one-world church and even to secular rock.

We are living in the age of end-time technology, which means that one can no longer use songs and hymns without the listeners being able to come into communication with the authors with great ease. Whereas even 30 years ago, it was difficult to contact and be influenced by authors of Christian music, that has changed dramatically with the Internet. 

Today if people in a Bible-believing church hear songs by Jack Hayford or MercyMe or Graham Kendrick or Stuart Townend or Darlene Zschech or Keith Getty, songs heard in “adapted form” in many Bible-believing churches, they can easily search for that group or individual on the web and come into intimate contact with these people — not only in contact with their music (typically played in “real” rock & roll style as opposed to the watered-down soft-rock ballad versions performed in churches that are beginning to dabble with contemporary praise music), but also in contact with their ecumenical/charismatic/separatist hating/one-world church philosophy. 

Let’s say someone hears the choir perform “In Christ Alone” or “The Power of the Cross” by the Gettys. He likes the music and decides to check them out on the web. He comes across the Gettys rocking out at their concerts and begins to question his church’s stand against rock music. He sees the Gettys associating with anyone and everyone and begins to question biblical separation. “The Gettys seem so sincere and Christ-loving; maybe I’ve been too hard-nosed in my Christianity; maybe the separatist stance is all wrong; perhaps I should lighten up.” He comes across Keith Getty’s July 2013 interview with Assist Ministries and decides to listen to what the man has to say. He hears Getty speak highly of Bono and C.S. Lewis, so he decides to take a look at these people, and by so doing he begins to question fundamental Bible doctrines. After time, through the influence of the Gettys, the soul who was once a content member of a Bible-believing church, raising his children in a Bible-believing path, is on the high road to the emerging church and his children and grandchildren will end up who knows where. 

The same could be said for the influence of Townend or Kendrick or MercyMe or Zschech or hundreds of other prominent contemporary worship musicians, because they hold the same philosophy and represent the same bridge to spiritual danger.

Men such as Paul Chappell and Clarence Sexton and Ron Hamilton, who should know better but who are defending the use of contemporary praise music either in word or by example, will answer to God for the souls that cross the bridges they are building to the dangerous world that is represented by this music. 

The Getty’s ecumenical, one-world-church goal is to “bring everyone together musically” (www.keithgetty.com). They want to “bridge the gap between the traditional and contemporary” (http://www.gettymusic.com/about.aspx).

In a July 2013 interview, Keith Getty mentioned vile rocker Sting and homosexual rocker Elton John in a positive light, with not a hint of warning. The interview was with Dan Wooding of Assist Ministries and was broadcast on Frontpage Radio from Nashville — http://www.assist-ministries.com/FrontPageRadio/FPR06.09.13KeithGettyMono.mp3.

The Gettys list the Beatles as a major musical influence, and I have never heard them warn God’s people to stay away from the Beatles. 

Thus any bridge that Bible-believing churches build to the Gettys is a bridge beyond to the world of secular rock, because the Gettys speak in positive terms of that world instead of reproving the unfruitful works of darkness in accordance with Ephesians 5:11. 

While the Getty’s worship music is fairly conservative in its rhythm, they are not opposed to rock & roll. They themselves rock pretty hard at some venues. And while they don’t write hard rock worship songs, they don’t speak against this, either. In fact, Keith Getty recently said that he is glad for edgy, rocking renditions of his music by artists such as Newsboys, Ricky Skaggs, Owl City, Alison Krauss, and Natalie Grant, because “it is an honor” for him to witness popular modern musicians record them, and “it’s also interesting to hear their interpretation of it and useful for the song because it helps the song get played more” (“The Gettys Exclusive: Famed Hymn Writers Talk Irish Christmas Tour,” Christian Post, Dec. 2, 2014).

The Gettys are also a bridge to a wide variety of theological heresy. 

In the same 2013 interview Keith Getty heaped praise on Bono of the Irish rock band U2, calling him a “brilliant theological thinker” and saying that Bono “cares for a lot of the things that Christ asks us to care about.” He also said, “I love his passion for life and his passion for learning.” Getty had absolutely nothing to say about Bono by word of warning. Bono rarely even attends church, and when he does it is often a viciously heretical “church” like Glide Memorial United Methodist in San Francisco (Bill Flanagan, U2 and the End of the World, p. 99). Bono’s biographer said that he has been a frequent worshiper at Glide. Cecil Williams, former pastor of the church, doesn’t believe in heaven; he began performing homosexual “marriages” in 1965; and church “celebrations” have included dancing with complete nudity. 

This is Bono’s type of Christianity. Bono says that he believes that Jesus died on the cross for his sins and that “he is holding out for grace,” but Bono’s “grace” is a grace that does not result in radical conversion and a new way of life; it is a grace without repentance; it is a grace that does not produce holiness, in contrast with Titus 2:11-15. Nowhere does Bono warn his myriads of listeners to turn to Christ before it is too late and before they pass out of this life into eternal hell. In fact, he says that heaven and hell are on this earth (Bono on Bono: Conversations with Michka Assayas, 2005, p. 254). Bono says that the older he gets the more comfort he finds in Roman Catholicism (Bono on Bono, p. 201). But he has nothing good to say about biblical “fundamentalism,” falsely claiming that it is a denial that God is love (Bono on Bono, p. 167) and calling it vile names (p. 147). The problem is that Bono defines love by the rock & roll dictionary rather than by the Bible, which says, “For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous” (1 John 5:3). Bill Flanagan, a U2 friend who has traveled extensively with the group, in his authorized biography describes them as heavy drinkers and constant visitors to bars, brothels, and nightclubs (Flanagan, U2 at the End of the World, p. 145). Bono admits that he lives “a fairly decadent kind of selfish-art-oriented lifestyle” (Flanagan, p. 79). Many of Bono’s statements cannot be printed in a Christian publication. Appearing on the Golden Globe Awards broadcast by NBC television in 2003, Bono shouted a vile curse word. Bono told the media that he and his bandmates planned to spend New Year’s Eve 2000 in Dublin, because “Dublin knows how to drink” (Bono, USA Today, Oct. 15, 1999, p. E1). In 2006 Bono said: “I recently read in one of St. Paul’s letters where it describes all of the fruits of the spirit, and I had none of them” (“Enough Rope with Andrew Denton,” March 13, 2006). In October 2008, Fox News reported that Bono and rocker friend Simon Carmody partied with teenage girls on a yacht in St. Tropez. The report, which was accompanied by a photo of Bono holding two bikini-clad teenagers on his lap at a bar (Fox News, Oct. 27, 2008).

This is the man that Keith Getty publicly calls a brilliant theologian and praises for caring about things that Christ tells us to care about! Doesn’t Christ care about truth and holiness and a pure gospel and repentance and sound doctrine and separation from the world, Keith? Aren’t these absolute fundamentals? Doesn’t the Bible say, “He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him” (1 John 2:4)? Doesn’t the Bible say, “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God” (James 4:4)?

In the same 2013 interview, Getty claimed C.S. Lewis as a major theological influence. Yet Lewis rejected the fundamental doctrines of the infallible inspiration of Scripture and “penal substitutionary atonement” and believed in purgatory and baptismal regeneration (“C.S. Lewis Superstar,” Christianity Today, Dec. 2005). Lewis rejected the historicity of Jonah and Job. He believed in prayers to the dead and confession to a priest. He held to theistic evolution, believing that “man is physically descended from animals” and calling the Genesis account of creation “a Hebrew folk tale” (Lewis, The Problem of Pain). He denied the eternal torment of hell and claimed that followers of pagan religions can be saved without acknowledging Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour (Lewis, Mere Christianity; The Chronicles of Narnia: The Last Battle). This is a man that Getty honors as a major theological influence and about whom he has nothing negative to say. No warnings. No separation.

The Gettys are called “modern hymn writers” but their music is syncretistic. They “fuse the music of their Irish heritage with the sounds of Nashville, their newly adopted home.” As we have noted, the Gettys list the Beatles as a major musical influence. 

Keith arranged some of the songs on Michael W. Smith’s charismatic Healing Rain album. 

The Gettys have a close working relationship with Stuart Townend, who is radically charismatic and ecumenical. Not only do they write and publish songs with Townend, but they also tour together, joining hands, for example, in the Celtic Islands Tour 2012.

In July 2012, the Gettys joined Townend and Roman Catholic Matt Maher on NewsongCafe on WorshipTogether.com. They played and discussed “The Power of the Cross,” which was co-written by Getty-Townend. The 10-minute program promoted ecumenical unity, with Maher/Townend/Getty entirely one in the spirit through the music. Fundamental doctrinal differences are so meaningless that they are not even mentioned. Spiritual abominations such as the papacy, the mass, infant baptism, baptismal regeneration, and Mariolatry were ignored. Jude 3 was despised and Romans 16:17 completely disobeyed for the sake of building the one-world church through contemporary Christian music.

Keith Getty collaborated with Catholic Margaret Becker in the song “Jesus Draw Me Ever Nearer.” In an interview Becker said, “One of my missions has been to say, let’s not label ourselves, let’s not put up walls between each other. I may go to a Catholic church, that does not mean I’m Catholic, in that I cannot (disagree with) any Catholic rhetoric or Catholic belief” (“US singer to make an appearance at Cross Rhythms ’95,” CR Magazine, June 1, 1995). 

Getty also collaborated with Roman Catholic Máire [pronounced Moya] Brennan in writing “With the Early Morning.” Brennan says, “Christians fighting Christians, Catholics and Protestants! It breaks my heart, because we’re all stemming from the same rock. We should look at that and not at what we’ve become. I discovered an awful lot, being from a Catholic background and getting married to a Protestant” (“Back to the Rock of Ages: Maire Brennan Talks to Christina Rodden,” rootsworld.com).

This is the ecumenical Christianity of the Gettys.
In October 2012, the Gettys joined hands with emerging heretic Leonard Sweet at the National Worship Leader Conference in San Diego. Sweet calls his universalist-tinged doctrine New Light and “quantum spirituality” and “the Christ consciousness” and describes it in terms of “the union of the human with the divine” which is the “center feature of all the world’s religions” (Quantum Spirituality, p. 235). He defines the New Light as “a structure of human becoming, a channeling of Christ energies through mindbody experience” (Quantum Spirituality, p. 70). Sweet says that “New Light pastors” hold the doctrine of “embodiment of God in the very substance of creation” (p. 124). In Carpe Mañana, Sweet says that the earth is as much a part of the body of Christ as humans and that humanity and the earth constitutes “a cosmic body of Christ” (p. 124). Sweet lists some of the “New Light leaders” that have influenced his thinking as Matthew Fox, M. Scott Peck, Willis Harman, and Ken Wilber. These are prominent New Agers who believe in the divinity of man, as we have documented in the book The New Age Tower of Babel. Sweet has endorsed The Shack with its non-judgmental father-mother god, and he promotes Roman Catholic contemplative mysticism and dangerous mystics such as the Catholic-Buddhist Thomas Merton. Three million evangelicals took the streets of Sao Paulo to share the gospel and 
“cry out for Brazil, for the families, for the end of corruption, for the afflicted hearts”.

Around 3 million evangelicals, according to the organizers, filled the streets of the Brazilian city of of São Paulo, in the 27th edition of the March for Jesus, held on June 20. The march began at one of the main metro stations of the city, after the opening prayer of Estevam Hernandes, President of the March for Jesus in Brazil.



“We cry out for Brazil, for the families, for the end of corruption, for the afflicted hearts; our country belongs to Jesus Christ. To Him all honor, glory, power and majesty. As it says in Psalms 33: Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord,” he said. …



“Every year, we have a theme. These themes are a reference of what Christ represents for us. He rescued us from the empire of darkness and carried us into His mighty light. It is for Him that we march,” the organizers pointed out.

Gaga began by asking the crowd, “Are you ready to f____ing party tonight?” In the crowd were Joel and Victoria Osteen, who were indeed ready to party. The event was hosted to celebrate gay pride at the Apollo theater and the pastor of the nation’s largest ‘church’ was in attendance.

Gaga calls her fans “little monsters” and they were in full excitement as it was the performer’s first appearance at the famous Harlem theater. The entire event was oriented around gay pride.



Also with Joel and Victoria Osteen were celebrities Amy Pohler, the Season 2 winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race, a cross-dresser named “ThunderFu_k,” Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas, and gay actor, Neil Patrick Harris.



The event was basically a theatrically performed representation of the Biblical city of Sodom, and the crowd couldn’t be gayer to be there.

Of the event, the Daily News wrote, “The clearly LGBTQ-leaning-and-loving crowd went crazy after one of their most extravagant took time to acknowledge the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots.”



Songs were interspersed with tributes to various homosexual leaders in the gay rights movement. Gaga also lectured the crowd that throughout the evening they would need to pay close attention to using the right gender pronouns, an overture to the “trans community,” because “we are all in this together.”

Here are two attendees at the event, who operate a group called “Drag Coven.” They attended the event alongside Joel and Victoria Osteen.

NEW YORK — Megachurch speaker and author Joel Osteen and his wife Victoria were among a number of celebrities, including drag queens, actors and music industry personalities, who attended the “SiriusXM and Pandora Present Lady Gaga at the Apollo” concert on Monday night in New York City. The two posed on the carpet for a photograph next to a SiriusXM/Pandora/Lady Gaga backdrop, which is posted online.



“Are you ready to [expletive] party tonight? Are we making history?” Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, asked the crowd as she opened the show, according to the New York Daily News.



The popular music streaming companies had announced last month that they would be presenting the “special performance” to “celebrate SiriusXM and Pandora coming together as one company.” They also noted that the concert “coincides with World Pride Month, which this year is being celebrated in New York City.”



The Daily News reports that Germanotta “performed a selection of her most beloved hits dancing around, in a most homoerotic latex fantasy, dropping F-bombs and getting tips from the future by speaking to an ‘Avatar’-like Gaga figure.”







She also spoke of her advocacy for those who identify as homosexuals and transgenders, telling the crowd, “So, it’s Pride Week. I wish it could exist 365 days of the year, but I’ll take an [expletive] global week.”



Germanotta urged those in the theater and around the world to “[a]sk the question: ‘What is your pronoun?’ Because for a lot of people, it’s really hard, and their pronouns aren’t respected or they’re not asked.”



As previously reported, Germanotta, whose music videos and concerts are often performed in little clothing and are sexually suggestive, sings about homosexuality in her song “Born This Way.”



“A different lover is not a sin, believe capital H-I-M,” the tune claims. “No matter gay, straight or bi, lesbian, transgendered life, I’m on the right track baby, I was born to survive. … I’m beautiful in my way, ’cause God makes no mistakes.”



A number of drag queens attended the invitation-only event, including Alaska Thunder[expletive] (Justin Honard), Ginger Minj (Joshua Eads), Sharon Needles (Aaron Coady), Aquaria (Giovanni Palandrani) and Shangela Wadley (Darius Pierce) of “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”



Other attendees included American Idol’s Adam Lambert, Saturday Night Live’s Heidi Gardner, actor Michael Douglas, and Neil Patrick Harris and his “husband” David Burtka.



And in the midst of those photographed were Joel and Victoria Osteen, who posed like the others adjacent to the Pandora/SiriusXM/Lady Gaga backdrop. Christian News Network can only link to the photograph as it is protected by copyright.



The Osteens have their own channel on SiriusXM, which according to its description, features “daily messages of hope and inspiration, live call-in shows and with Joel and Victoria, and special live services.” Being connected to the network is likely the reason why they were invited to the event.



Christian News contacted Joel Osteen Ministries to inquire about the appearance, but was told by a representative that she didn’t know anything about the matter as she had just learned of it and that any statement would have to come from Joel himself.



Some outlets expressed bewilderment as to why the Osteens attended since it was assumed that he opposes homosexuality, which Gaga advocates.



As previously reported, Osteen drew criticism in 2013 when he told the Huffington Post that God accepts homosexuals without also mentioning the requirement of repentance.



“You say [in your book] … ‘It doesn’t matter who likes you or doesn’t like you; all that matters is that God likes you. He accepts you; He approves of you,” host Josh Zepps stated. “Is that true for gay men or true for homosexuals?”



“Absolutely,” Osteen replied. “I believe that God’s breathed His life into every person. We’re all on a journey. Nobody’s perfect.”



“The Bible says that sin is pride, sin is selfish ambition,” he continued. “We tend to pick on certain things, but I believe every person is made in the image of God, and you’ve got to accept them as they are as they’re on their journey.”



Osteen then explained his belief that Christians should exemplify kindness to the world, rather than “pushing people down.”



“Again, the Scripture teaches the way people are going to know His disciples is for our love for one another, and so, I’m not preaching hate [or] pushing people down,” he stated. “I’m not here to tell everybody what they’re doing wrong.”



2 Corinthians 6:17-18 exhorts, “Wherefore come out from among them and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing, and I will receive you and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be My sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”



Respected British preacher Charles Spurgeon also once declared, “Avoid the appearance of evil. ‘But we must not be too rigid,’ says one. There is no fear of that in these days. You will never go too far in holiness, nor become too like your Lord Jesus. If anybody accuses you of being too strict and precise, do not grieve, but try to deserve the charge.



I cannot suppose that at the last great day, our Lord Jesus Christ will say to everyone, ‘You were not worldly enough. You were too jealous over your conduct, and did not sufficiently conform to the world.’ No, my brethren, such a wrong is impossible. He who said, ‘Be ye perfect, even as your Father which is in Heaven is perfect,’ has set before you a standard beyond which you can never go.





’Well, but,’ says one, ‘are we to have no enjoyments?’ My dear friend, the enjoyments which are prepared for Christians are many and great, but they never include sin and folly. Do you call vice and folly enjoyments?”

Enough, It’s Time for Joel Osteen to Surrender His Ordination Credentials and Leave the Ministry!

It must be said so I will say it. Joel Osteen is a heretic as are many other “soft” Evangelicals who have departed from the faith. I am careful about “attacking” preachers since others are quick to do that, and usually the criticism is not valid. However, enough is enough. Joel fits the description of a heretic as being “a professed believer who maintains religious opinions contrary to those accepted by his or her church or rejects doctrines prescribed by that church.”



Osteen is obviously very successful depending on one’s definition of success. He is worth 50 to 60 million dollars, has had seven bestselling books, is loved and adored by millions of fans, and lives in a multimillion dollar mansion with another home worth more than a million. He is selling a one-half acre lot next to his “smaller” home for over a million.



Yes, almost everyone would quickly call him successful; however, I think he is a pathetic person and a disgrace to the ministry. Especially is that true when he is compared to hundreds of thousands of preachers who live what they preach, helping those in need, working in obscurity and doing so at very meager wages.



Joel said, “I don’t argue when people say that my message is simple, but I believe Jesus’ message was simple.” It is a simple message and while simplicity is a virtue, the simple message must also be true. Joel’s message is not true, making him a false prophet.



Even the media characterizes him as a prosperity preacher, no doubt the secret of his success. He said, “It’s God’s will for you to live in prosperity instead of poverty.” But Christ said, “For ye have the poor always with you.” Joel preaches what people want to hear whereas true preachers tell people what they need to hear.



But in one respect, Joel practices what he preaches since they live in a wealthy Houston suburb. The Osteens paid $10.5 million for their mansion that has 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 5 fireplaces, 3 elevators, a guest house and outdoor pool and pool house. They also own a second $2.9 million mansion in Tanglewood, Houston.



On October 2, 2013, Osteen did a HuffPost Live interview with Josh Zepps where Joel refused to take a biblical position on sodomy. Of course, neither he nor Zepps would ever use that very correct English word.



Zepps quoted from Joel’s book saying, “It doesn’t matter who likes you or doesn’t like you, all that matters is that God likes you. He accepts you, he approves of you.” Zepps then asked if that included homosexuals.



The pastor replied, “Absolutely, I believe that God breathed life into every person and that every person is made in the image of God and you have (sic) accept them as they are, on their journey. I’m not here to preach hate or push people down.” Joel stated. “I’m not here to tell everybody what they’re doing wrong.” If a preacher is not supposed to reveal and explain Bible truths about personal salvation and how to live the Christian life in obedience to God, then why is he preaching? Could it be power, and prestige, and possessions that motivate him? If so, that would make Joel carnal, crass, and commercial.



Of course, the clear implication is those of us who take a biblical position are haters when in reality we are the lovers! If I warn people that smoking, boozing, gaining weight and using illegal drugs will destroy their health and shorten their lives then I am their friend because I told them the truth that, if obeyed, will save their lives. Similarly, since the chosen homosexual lifestyle will shorten a person’s life, fill him with guilt, produce self-loathing leading to thoughts of suicide, saying so makes me a considerate, concerned, compassionate person—not the hater suggested by the media who grovel at the feet of the LGBTQ crowd.



The most recent egregious thing the Osteens have done is their recent appearance at an event celebrating a major LGBTQ “gay” pride event. A news site headlined, “Joel Osteen Attends Lady Gaga LGBT Pride Event.” According to the New York Daily News Gaga began by asking the crowd, “Are you ready to f____ing party tonight?” In the crowd were Joel and Victoria Osteen, who were indeed ready to party.



The event was hosted to celebrate gay pride at the Apollo Theater and “the pastor of the nation’s largest ‘church’ was in attendance….The entire event was oriented around gay pride.” Christian News noted that the concert “coincides with World Pride Month, which this year is being celebrated in New York City.”

I wish it could exist 365 days of the year, but I’ll take an [expletive] global week.” Prancing about scandalously dressed, she sang about homosexuality in her song Born This Way—“A different lover is not a sin, believe capital H-I-M,” the tune claims. “No matter gay, straight or bi, lesbian, transgendered life, I’m on the right track baby, I was born to survive. … I’m beautiful in my way, ’cause God makes no mistakes.”



I wonder if the famous preacher and his wife were uncomfortable as a dog in hot ashes with such depravity or if they have grown numb to such debauchery.



The Daily Mail reported, “Prosperity gospel preacher Joel Osteen wore a navy blazer with a gray-blue shirt, while his wife Victoria Osteen had on an elegant black dress with cut-outs over her short sleeves.”



While the Osteens were wearing more clothing than the movie stars, homosexuals, trans genders in attendance, why were they there whatever their clothing? No doubt, it was related to the Osteens’ radio show on Sirius; however, business is no excuse to sit silently while a celebration of perversion is happening.



What were decent people doing in such an event? What were a leading Evangelical pastor and his wife doing there? Why did he not stand on his chair and call them all to repentance as an Old Testament prophet would have done? As the Apostle Paul would have done?



Jude reminds Joel and all preachers to “contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” Titus 5:20 commands preachers, “Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.” Titus 1:13 requires us, “Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith.” In II Tim. 4:2 we are told to “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.”



Joel and Victoria were out of place at that LGBTQ event, and they are out of place when they are in the pulpit.



Joel will not reconsider, repent, and return to his religious roots because the price is too great for him to admit error when that admission would dissolve his salary, status, and security.

“A U.S. school that allowed Muslim students to interrupt classes to ‘convert’ students to Islam now faces a grilling from a constitutional legal team.”



Memorial High School in New Jersey has an Islamization issue that is keeping it in the news. First, its actions prompted a “cease and desist” letter to be sent out by The Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund to the school’s West New York School District’s superintendent at the end of May, “demanding that two district-sponsored Ramadan posters in Memorial High School be taken down.” One poster offered “Warm greetings from Memorial High school and wishes students to Have a blessed Ramadan.” Another states that “MAY ALLAH CONTINUE TO SHOWER YOU LOVE AND WISDOM.”



As the posters were finally scrapped by mid-June more news unfolds that the school is still under the microscope and is now facing a “grilling” by The Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund “for allowing Muslim students to interrupt classes to convert students to Islam.”



If that were not bad enough….



“The school bulletin boards send students to a website run by the North Hudson Islamic Educational Center’s “Dawah Committee,” which explains its mission is to convert public school students to Islam. While The Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund is offering a necessary service, parents also need to be paying attention to what their children are being taught in schools and ask them questions.



Islamic indoctrination in schools is an ongoing issue.



Northshore School District in Bothell in Washington, was also recently sent a “cease and desist” letter from the The Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund, for promoting an ambitious CAIR-suggested policy change….



“The policy directs teachers to create “safe spaces” for Muslims, plan with Muslim students to let them “quietly slip away” from class for prayer, “privately offer information” about nutrition during their Ramadan fast, give “a lesson” on Ramadan and privately ask Muslim students what accommodations they want.”



Last year  a Christian dad sued mountain Ridge Middle School in West Virginia for Islamic indoctrination of his teen daughter who was given an assignment to:




    

  • Write the Shahada, the Islamic conversion creed, “There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah,” in Arabic as part of “calligraphy” practice.

A U.S. school that allowed Muslim students to interrupt classes to “convert” students to Islam now faces a grilling from a constitutional legal team.



As part of its Project for Constitutional Rights in Education, the Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund monitors school districts to ensure that officials are educated about the “threat of Islamic indoctrination and religiously preferential ‘anti-Islamophobia’ bullying programs.”



FCDF said it sent the West New York School District in New Jersey a public records request to see documents “that could show whether the district is unlawfully promoting religion.”



The concern centered on a decision to hang a large banner at the school “beseeching ‘Allah’ to ‘shower’ students with ‘love and wisdom.’”



FCDF said it also is seeking documents related to two Muslim students who were given permission to interrupt classes during the school day to convert students to Islam “under the guise of teaching them about Ramadan,” the group said.



It was the same school that drew a “cease and desist” letter from FCDF only a few weeks ago regarding the banner.



“The district removed the poster but left intact massive bulletin boards designed by Muslim students to teach students about Ramadan,” the organization said.



The school bulletin boards send students to a website run by the North Hudson Islamic Educational Center’s “Dawah Committee,” which explains its mission is to convert public school students to Islam.



On the website, the committee praised the two Muslim students involved “for their outstanding dawah educational awareness in the public schools. We pray that other students and parents will follow suit in the near future. May Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala reward them manifold.”



“When public school districts enact policies or otherwise expose students to religious indoctrination, they choose to place ‘diversity’ and ‘cultural awareness’ over the First Amendment,” said FCDF Executive Director Daniel Piedra.



“FCDF will not tolerate this intentional effort to propagandize to schoolchildren. We will continue to warn all school districts to reconsider any policy or action that tramples on our children’s constitutional rights.”…

This heralds the end of France as a free society and, if this spreads to other nations, as it likely will, the imminent death of other free societies in the West. This is because the banning of “hate speech” amounts in reality to the classification of anything those in power dislike as “hate speech,” and its banning.



“Hate speech” is not remotely in the same category as terrorism; the most obvious difference is that hateful or insulting speech does not result in the death of anyone. “Hate speech” is a subjective judgment. What is actually designated as “hate speech” depends on what the person doing the judging believes is offensive and hateful. I think opposing jihad terror and Sharia oppression of women and others is what everyone should do if he or she believes in the dignity of every human person and a free, pluralistic society in which people of differing beliefs and ideologies live together with mutual respect. But powerful bodies such as the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Southern Poverty Law Center have long classified such opposition as “hate speech.” And now Facebook is paving the way for those who engage in this so-called hate speech to be prosecuted.



The very concept of “hate speech” is, in reality, a tool of the powerful, used to silence the powerless. The political and media elites have decided, for whatever reason, that opposing jihad terror and speaking honestly about its ideological roots is “hate speech.” And so they will snuff it out, and we are well on the way now to the prosecution, imprisonment, and worse of those who engage in it. But this is not something that will save free societies by removing those who supposedly are the causes of strife. It will be the end of free societies, and the beginning of another era of totalitarian darkness and oppression.

Once upon a time, some of the most beautiful cities in the entire world were on the west coast, but now those same cities are degenerating into drug-infested cesspools of filth and garbage right in front of our eyes.  San Francisco is known as the epicenter for our tech industry, and Los Angeles produces more entertainment than anyone else in the world, and yet both cities are making headlines all over the world for other reasons these days.  Right now, nearly a quarter of the nation’s homeless population lives in the state of California, and more are arriving with each passing day.  When you walk the streets of San Francisco or Los Angeles, you can’t help but notice the open air drug markets, the giant mountains of trash, and the discarded needles and piles of human feces that are seemingly everywhere.  If this is what things look like when the U.S. economy is still relatively stable, how bad are things going to get when the economy tanks?



In San Francisco, the homeless population has grown by 17 percent since 2017, and when a UN official recently walked the streets she was absolutely horrified by what she witnessed…





When Leilani Farha paid a visit to San Francisco in January, she knew the grim reputation of the city’s homeless encampments. In her four years as the United Nations Special Rapporteur for Adequate Housing, Farha has visited the slums of Mumbai, Delhi, Mexico City, Jarkarta, and Manila. The crisis in San Francisco, she said, is comparable to these conditions.





I have never been to Mumbai, Delhi, Mexico City, Jarkarta or Manila, and so I will just have to take her word for what the conditions are like there.



But how can this be happening in one of the wealthiest cities in the entire country?







Sadly, to a large degree San Francisco has done this to itself.  Every single day drugs are openly bought and sold at “an outdoor market of sorts” right in the heart of the city, and authorities know exactly where it is happening…





To drill down on the epicenter of the crisis, a recent New York Times inquiry set out to find the dirtiest block in San Francisco. After asking statisticians to compile a list of streets with the most neighborhood complaints regarding sidewalk cleanliness, the Times landed on a winner: Hyde Street’s 300 block, which received more than 2,200 complaints over the last decade.



A visit to the block yields a harrowing sight of drug addicts and mentally ill residents, many of whom are part of the city’s overwhelmingly large homeless population. During the day, drug users host an outdoor market of sorts, selling heroin, crack cocaine, and amphetamines along the sidewalks.





They could shut down the drug dealing if they really wanted to do so.



And anywhere the illegal drug trade is thriving, you are also going to have a lot of property crime.  At this point, no city in America has a higher rate of property crime than San Francisco does…





San Francisco is the nation’s leader in property crime. Burglary, larceny, shoplifting, and vandalism are included under this ugly umbrella. The rate of car break-ins is particularly striking: in 2017 over 30,000 reports were filed, and the current average is 51 per day. Other low-level offenses, including drug dealing, street harassment, encampments, indecent exposure, public intoxication, simple assault, and disorderly conduct are also rampant.





Meanwhile, things are not much better in Los Angeles.  In fact, many would argue that L.A. is in even worse condition.



The homeless population in the city has risen 16 percent since last year, and it is taking over neighborhood after neighborhood.  Los Angeles was once one of the most beautiful cities in the entire world, but now it is rapidly being transformed into a hellhole…





If someone predicted half a century ago that a Los Angeles police station or indeed L.A. City Hall would be in danger of periodic, flea-borne infectious typhus outbreaks, he would have been considered unhinged. After all, the city that gave us the modern freeway system is not supposed to resemble Justinian’s sixth-century Constantinople. Yet typhus, along with outbreaks of infectious hepatitis A, are in the news on California streets. The sidewalks of the state’s major cities are homes to piles of used needles, feces, and refuse. Hygienists warn that permissive municipal governments are setting the stage — through spiking populations of history’s banes of fleas, lice, and rats — for possible dark-age outbreaks of plague or worse.





Skid Row is the epicenter of the homeless problem in L.A., and I highly recommend that you do not go down there to check it out for yourself.



It is hard to believe that people are actually living this way in America in 2019.  This is what one reporter witnessed during his visit to the neighborhood…





If you want to know how bad the homelessness crisis has gotten in California, just turn to 4 squares miles east of Main Street in downtown Los Angeles. The area, known as Skid Row, has long been inhabited by the city’s poorest residents. These days it resembles something akin to a nightmare.



Residents sleep in tents surrounded by discarded needles and feces, their belongings tucked into trash bags and shopping carts. Some shade themselves with tarps or use nearby light poles to connect to power. Others have contracted typhus from rats scurrying across the sidewalk. One resident was even found bathing in the water from a broken fire hydrant.





This is where the rest of the country is headed if we are not very careful.  Bad policies have bad consequences, and our leaders have been taking us in the wrong direction for a very long time.



And instead of getting to the root of our problems, most of our politicians seem to think that engaging in bizarre social experiments will somehow solve our problems.



For example, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti is convinced that we can solve the homeless problem by building tiny housing units in the backyards of private homeowners…





As part of this mission, the city is pursuing a pilot program, made possible by a $1 million Bloomberg Philanthropies grant, that would help homeowners install backyard units on their properties. In exchange for a $10,000 to $30,000 stipend, homeowners would be able to charge a small rent to homeless tenants, who would pay their share through vouchers or their own income. The city also plans to institute a matchmaking process that pairs owners and tenants.



“Our homeless crisis demands that we get creative,” the mayor said. If the backyard pilot works, he added, the idea could be adopted anywhere.





So if you live in Los Angeles, soon you will be able to bring the needles and piles of human feces from Skid Row into your own backyard.



Meanwhile, homeless people keep dropping dead night after night in Los Angeles.  Just check out these staggering numbers…





A record number of homeless people — 918 last year alone — are dying across Los Angeles County, on bus benches, hillsides, railroad tracks and sidewalks.



Deaths have jumped 76% in the past five years, outpacing the growth of the homeless population, according to a Kaiser Health News analysis of the coroner’s data.





Year after year, this homelessness crisis is only getting worse.



The fabric of our society is literally coming apart right in front of our eyes, and we can all see what is happening, and yet our leaders seem absolutely powerless to fix it.



If we continue on this trajectory, what is our nation going to look like in a few years?

On this week's lifestyles of the rich and infamous, Joe Biden.



It seems a little tacky to be living in a White House, before you actually get elected, but maybe Joe misses hanging out at the Obama White House. And occasionally bursting into the Oval Office to declare his support for gay marriage or mandatory hair plugs or sending a huge check to Iran.





The Georgian-style home — from the front a brick version of the White House — once belonged to Alexander Haig, the former secretary of state. Nestled on a wooded lot in McLean, the nearly 12,000-square-foot residence contains five bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, marble fireplaces, a gym and a sauna.



“Surrounded by Washington elite and sitting high above the Potomac River, there is an undeniable grandeur in the design of this home,” said the British-accented agent in a video released when it went on the market in 2015. “This property makes an imposing statement with parking for over 20 cars and creates a perfect setting for the most lavish of events.”



“This may have already been the residence to a very important person,” he continued. “But I suspect it will be home to many more.”



It is currently home to Joe Biden. He and his wife, Jill, rented it after leaving the vice presidential quarters at the Naval Observatory in 2017. The house had been purchased for $4.25 million in June of 2016 by Mark Ein, a wealthy venture capitalist who lives next door.



Biden points out on the presidential campaign trail that he was often the poorest member of the United States Senate, and for at least a decade has referred to himself as “Middle Class Joe.” But since leaving office he has enjoyed an explosion of wealth, making millions of dollars largely from book deals and speaking fees that ranged to as much as $200,000 per speech, public documents show.





Here's what his current copy of the White House includes.





. Three levels of Georgian style architecture overlook the Potomac—including a master bedroom that runs the length of the house—in this 5 bed, 9 bath home. The one-acre lot has a separate apartment above the three car garage, as well as more living quarters for staff in the main house where there is also a sauna, gym, two kitchens, and eight fireplaces.







The nearly 12,000-square foot estate sits on a 1-acre lot and features six bedrooms and 7.5 baths. The home was last on the market in 2013, for $5,495,000. Haig and his wife, Patricia, bought the home in 2006 for $7 million, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal. 





Much like Joe Biden, this home does not seem like a good investment.



According to WaPo, the Zillow rent estimate is $20,000 a month. If Joe is paying that much, maybe it's a decent investment after all. Especially if he's back to subleasing space to the Secret Service.





This Georgian style home encompasses an estimated 11,750 square feet of finished space. The generous room sizes, floor to ceiling windows and doors, along with the stunning renovation opening the kitchen and family room, make this home perfect for formal entertaining. Featuring 6 bedrooms along with 9 bathrooms, a theater room, a new smart home audio visual system, home gym with sauna and parking for up to 20 cars, this beautiful home will make any large family comfortable in their own private retreat.

Since leaving the vice presidency, Biden has rented the McLean home and purchased a $2.7 million, 4,800-square-foot vacation house near the water in Rehoboth Beach, Del., to go along with his primary residence, the nearly 7,000-square-foot lakeside home he built more than two decades ago in Wilmington, Del.





And they say Democrats don't do anything for the little guy.



Meanwhile here's what you need in the way of food and treats if you want Biden to come over and rasp to you about his working class background.





For his speeches — whether in Benton Harbor, Mich., Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Buffalo, or Salt Lake City — Biden’s hosts were obligated to serve him the same Italian meal, according to several contracts obtained through public records requests: angel hair pomodoro, a caprese salad, topped off with raspberry sorbet with biscotti.



As he traveled to the various speaking engagements, Biden had some specific requests, according to several riders to his speech contracts, which are used by speakers to outline their requirements in greater specificity.



His dressing room was to be stocked with bottled water, Coke Zero, regular Coca-Cola, Orange Gatorade and black coffee. It needed a full-length mirror, six straight back chairs and one portable steamer.





Joe needs to admire his incredible form from toupee to toe.

Activist judge declares all Massachusetts courthouses

All courthouses in Massachusetts have become ICE-free zones because a zealous left-wing Obama judge took it upon herself to forbid immigration officers from detaining suspected illegal aliens on judicial soil.



This lawless order is reportedly the first judicial fiat in the United States to block immigration arrests across an entire state, according to The Epoch Times. Massachusetts happens to be the home of state Judge Shelley M. Richmond Joseph, who was charged earlier this year under federal law for helping an illegal alien evade an ICE agent in her courthouse.



Although police have been arresting suspects in courthouses ever since courthouses were invented –it is a great deal safer for police than raiding a factory or a home— labor lawyer Indira Talwani, now a judge in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, granted a preliminary injunction barring U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents “from civilly arresting parties, witnesses, and others attending Massachusetts courthouses on official business while they are going to, attending, or leaving the courthouse.” The order specifies that it “does not limit ICE’s criminal arrests of such individuals or its civil arrests of individuals who are brought to Massachusetts courthouses while in state or federal custody.”



President Barack Hussein Obama nominated Talwani Sept. 24, 2013. The U.S. Senate confirmed Talwani on May 8, 2014.



The injunction dated June 20 came in the case of Ryan v. ICE, a lawsuit brought by two left-wing prosecutors: Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan (D) and Suffolk County District Attorney Rachael Rollins (D). Ryan has described herself as a “proven progressive prosecutor.” Rollins released a 65-page memo laying out her vision of “progressive prosecution,” which involves not prosecuting accused criminals.



Ryan and Rollins hit the jackpot when a friendly fellow radical, former AFL-CIO lawyer Indira Talwani, got assigned the case. Ryan, by the way, lauded the judge’s ruling, saying, “The granting of this injunction is a critical step in the right direction for our Commonwealth and it should be a model for our nation.”



President Trump reportedly called into “The Adriana Cohen Show” in Boston in May to blast Ryan and Rollins for their lawsuit.



“These are people that probably don’t mind crime, they don’t mind what’s going on,” Trump said. “You look at MS-13, they say in the world there’s nothing more evil. These are some very, very bad people. To try and protect them, I don’t think so.”



Trump singled out Rollins for criticism after she said “it would be my honor” to be arrested for assisting illegal aliens escape from ICE officials.



“What they’ve done to young girls, what they’ve done to women, what they’ve done to others, is just horrible,” Trump said of MS-13. “So for her to be saying that—she’s got to live with it, she’s got to live with her own conscience.”



Meanwhile, the left-leaning South Asian Bar Association of North America (SABA) speaks of Judge Talwani in glowing terms, describing her as “a tireless advocate on behalf of the underserved” who “understands the value of labor relations.” It adds, “the Chinese Progressive Association awarded her the Workers Justice Award” in 2012.



Ryan and Rollins sued claiming, fancifully, that there exists “a common law privilege against civil arrest in courthouses.” They also argued that allowing ICE to arrest illegals in courthouses makes their jobs more difficult because it discourages illegals from making court appearances.



Talwani bought this nonsense and issued the temporary restraining order preventing the men and women of ICE from doing their jobs in Massachusetts.



This was not the first time the judge’s animus to immigration law enforcement showed.



As the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) reported:





Specifically, Law360 reported that on April 25, 2018, Judge Talwani complained to a federal prosecutor that he “should have stopped” plain-clothes ICE officers who were attending sentencing proceedings in the case of a Chinese national who had admitted to visa fraud. Those officers arrested the student as soon as she left the building after being sentenced to a year probation. The judge reportedly stated, in open court, “I am upset at the notion that ICE thinks a courtroom is a place to go and pick up people.” She further opined (again, apparently in open court): “I see no reason for places of redress and justice to become places that people are afraid to show up.”





The authors of the CIS article say this is proof that Talwani is violating judicial ethics.



The judge’s “own statements call into question her impartiality, and suggest that she may have already made up her mind on the issue of ICE courthouse arrests. Simply put, she is against them, as the statements above would appear to indicate.”



Citing an indictment, they note that in November 2017 “the Executive Office of the Massachusetts Trial Court issued guidance to all Massachusetts state judges, clerks, and other courthouse personnel,” which stipulated that “DHS officials may enter a courthouse to perform their official duties.” (The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is ICE’s parent agency.)



Why Talwani, a federal judge, thinks she has authority over state judicial officials is a good question.



Why she thinks the reach of U.S. immigration law ends on the courthouse steps is an even better question.

John Bachtell, chairman of the National Committee of the Communist Party USA, addressed the Communist Party USA’s national convention this past weekend, celebrating its 100th anniversary. Looking at key Democrat Party constituencies as potential fellow travelers, he talked about using this “pivotal moment” in history to help bring about a “democratic and transformative upsurge” for the purpose of radically shifting politics in the United States. He talked about forging a “socialist path,” working as needed “within and alongside the Democratic Party” to defeat “the extreme right and the GOP” including ousting the “fossil fuel, military-industrial complex, and the industrial elite that constitutes its core.” He added that “many of the forces operating within the Democratic Party today”—along with Communist Party members themselves — “will form the working-class party of tomorrow.”

Mr. Bachtell had written back in 2015  how the Communists could use the constituencies of “labor, African Americans, Latinos, other communities of color, women, most union members, young people, and a wide range of social and democratic movements” already within the Democrat Party as “the vehicle” to advance the Communist Party USA’s own agenda.



The Democrat Party today, which has become a grievance machine against the imaginary ills of toxic maleness and white privilege, is helping Mr. Bachtell’s vision become a reality. The communists are shrewdly exploiting the identity politics that have taken over the leftward-leaning Democrat Party of today to serve their own more radical ends. As a result, the communist-progressive Democrat agendas are melding.



According to a Gallup poll published last October, less than half of Democrats view capitalism positively. In the two previous presidential election years of 2012 and 2016, more than half of Democrats who were polled viewed capitalism positively. 57% of Democrats now view socialism positively, virtually the same as in 2016 but up 4 percentage points from 2012. Americans aged 18 to 29 are six percent more positive about socialism than they are about capitalism, according to the Gallup poll. In the last two presidential election years, this age group was more positive about capitalism than socialism, although in 2016 the spread was quite narrow.



The terms “capitalism” and “socialism” were not defined in the poll question’s wording. However, leftist political leaders, including presidential contenders such as Democrat-Socialist Bernie Sanders and ultra-leftist Elizabeth Warren, together with opinion makers on social media and in the liberal press, are succeeding in making “capitalism” a bad word synonymous with exploitation by the greedy rich. Simultaneously, they are succeeding in turning “socialism” into a romantic fantasy, synonymous with Robin Hood-style taking from the greedy rich in the interest of “social justice.” This is the impetus behind Democrat wealth redistributionist proposals such as Medicare for All, free college tuition and college debt cancellation, and all manner of new taxes on wealth.



In short, the Democrat electorate is ripe for the picking by the communist-socialist wolves in sheep’s clothing. The real legacy of communism, and its close cousin socialism, includes the failed Soviet Union totalitarian state, the repressive Cuban and Venezuelan dictatorial regimes, and the murders of millions of people who would not tow the party line. Nevertheless, Democrat voters are increasingly falling prey to class and racial demagoguery, which delights the communist and socialist wolves.



In a speech to the youth of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela and the youth of the Communist Party of Venezuela, who were hosting the General Council Meeting of the World Federation of Democratic Youth last April, an American Communist Party USA representative said that “excitement over socialism has been put forth by Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s #GreenNewDeal proposal and Trump’s announcement in early February that, ‘America will never be a socialist country.’”



In words that could have been uttered by Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris and other leading Democrat leftists, the communist speaker told his audience in Venezuela, “Our youth is active in the demonstrations and online campaigns which demand #MedicareForAll, free college tuition and an end to families being separated at the border.”



Bernie Sanders has just proposed cancelling all student college debt, which he said would be paid for by taxing stock and other investment transactions. This is on top of his proposal for free tuition at public colleges and universities.  Elizabeth Warren has proposed similar wealth redistribution plans. Corey Booker wants to move towards a system of debt-free college and free community college.



Government-run healthcare is the communist/socialist prescription for the health industry that eliminates the profit motive. The profit drive “underlies or exacerbates all major social ills of our times,” according to the Communist Party USA Party Program.  Democrats are mainstreaming government-run healthcare in their own domestic program for social justice and calling it Medicare for All, which in turn the Communist Party USA representative embraced in his speech in Venezuela.  While many Americans are happy with their private health insurance coverage, profits for businesses that insure against risk cannot be tolerated by communists, or by today's progressive Democrat elite. So, Medicare for All would abolish private health insurance and have the government take over instead.  



Bernie Sanders led the way with promoting government-paid universal health care during his 2016 presidential campaign. His competitors for the 2020 Democrat presidential nomination are following suit on this and other hot-button issues.



“I’m fighting for #Medicare4All," proclaimed Elizabeth Warren. "Health care is an American right, and the current system is definitely wrong,” said Corey Booker. “I believe the best way to get there is by having medicare for all." Kamala Harris said that “we need to have Medicare for all. That’s just the bottom line."



One of the resolutions considered at last weekend’s Communist Party USA national convention demanded “an end to the persecution of immigrants, refugees, and the foreign born; the breakup of families; the mistreatment of children at the border; the deadly violence against immigrants by the Border Patrol and other immigration enforcement agents; and the efforts to use state and local police for immigration enforcement.” The resolution also demanded the cancellation of President Trump’s “racist” border wall.



Democrats are making the same demands in equally inflammatory terms. Remove the names next to the four quotes below and one could easily have attributed the quotes to the Communist Party USA.



“This president has separated children from their parents and called it border security. No, it’s a human rights abuse,” Kamala Harris tweeted. Bernie Sanders proclaimed, “No more snatching babies from the arms of their mothers.” Joe Biden said, “The America I see values basic human decency. Not snatching children from their parents or turning our back on refugees at our border.” Elizabeth Warren condemned President Trump’s proposed wall as “a monument to hate and division.”



Another Communist Party USA resolution that was discussed last weekend proposed “an end to the multibillion-dollar, profit-based immigrant incarceration industry and the building of immigrant detention centers.” Last Friday, Senator Warren proposed essentially the same thing. “Washington hands billions over to corporations profiting off of inhumane detention and incarceration policies while ignoring the families that are destroyed in the process,” Warren wrote. “Incarcerating and detaining millions for profit doesn’t keep us safe. It’s time to do better.”



Socialist-Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York is one of the most prominent voices of progressivism today, leading the Democrat Party sharply to the left. She is the force behind the economy-wrecking New Green Deal proposal, which most of the current crop of Democrat candidates for president have supported. She introduced a resolution in the House making climate change a racial and class issue. Her resolution states that “climate change, pollution, and environmental destruction have exacerbated systemic racial, regional, social, environmental, and economic injustices…by disproportionately affecting indigenous peoples, communities of color, migrant communities, deindustrialized communities, depopulated rural communities, the poor, low-income workers, women, the elderly, the unhoused, people with disabilities, and youth.” The New Green Deal resolution seeks to “promote justice and equity by stopping current, preventing future, and repairing historic oppression" of these “vulnerable communities.”



The Communist Party USA is all in. The first resolution submitted to its national convention last weekend quoted from Rep. Ocasio-Cortez’s proposed legislation, including its references to “vulnerable communities.” The Communist Party resolution said that the party would commit “to working within these communities to advance the goals of the Green New Deal” and develop “a plan within our districts and clubs to connect the Green New Deal organizing with ongoing struggles in their neighborhoods and workplaces.”



Yuri Bezmenov, a Soviet journalist and former PGU KGB informant who defected to Canada, once used the term “useful idiots” to describe leftists who “serve a purpose only at the stage of destabilization of a nation.” He added, “For example, your leftists in the United States: all these professors and all these beautiful civil rights defenders. They are instrumental in the process of the subversion only to destabilize a nation. When their job is completed, they are not needed any more.”



The Communist Party USA is intent on using the Democrat Party of today, built around its aggrieved constituencies, as its “vehicle” (i.e., “stupid idiots”) to achieve the communists’ vision of a more radical "working-class party of tomorrow.” They are making major inroads.
