A video showing a journalist inside the Houston home of a suspected New Orleans terrorist is drawing attention from lawmakers. The New York Post recorded the footage just 37 hours after the deadly car attack on Bourbon Street.
The driver of the Tesla Cybertruck that blew up outside Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas on New Year's Day has been identified as active-duty U.S. Army soldier Matthew Leibsberger, The Associated Press is reporting, citing law enforcement officials. The officials spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss an ongoing investigation. Livelsberger, 37, has several addresses associated with him and was on leave from Germany, where he was serving with the 10th Special Forces Group. On Wednesday, he reportedly pulled up the truck up outside the hotel at around 8:40 a.m. local time, and it exploded about 15 to 20 seconds later. The explosion killed Liversberger and injured seven others. Authorities say the truck contained gasoline and camping fuel containers, as well as large fireworks mortars. Video of the incident captures the truck exploding in a ball of fire, and fireworks can also be seen going off in all directions. A bystander can also be seen just feet from the truck as it goes up in flames. An Army spokesperson told Fox News that Livelsberger began active duty in the Army in January 2006 and reached the rank of master sergeant. Livelsberger spent time at the base formerly known as Fort Bragg, a massive Army base in North Carolina that is home to the Army Special Forces Command. As for all the guests at the hotel were taken to another hotel as the investigation into the explosion continues. Like McMahill, Jeremy Schwartz, the FBI's acting special agent in charge in Las Vegas, would not identify the person inside the vehicle, saying, "Our number one goal is to ensure that we have proper identification of the subject involved in the incident." The second objective, Schwartz said, was to determine whether the explosion was an act of terrorism, which is being investigated by a joint terrorism task force.
The son of 58-year-old Ryan Routh, the man accused of attempting to carry out a second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, has been charged with possession of child pornography.
On Tuesday, Oran Alexander Routh was taken into custody on two federal charges, one count of receipt of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.
Oran Routh’s age is unknown.
However, authorities say that the man, who has also expressed hatred towards Trump, is similar to his father, possessed “hundreds of child pornography files,” NBC News reported.
The son previously admitted to police that his 58-year-old father did indeed despise Trump “as any reasonable person would” after the U.S. Secret Service arrested Ryan Routh on September 15th.
JUST IN: Would-be Trump assass*in's son, who once called himself a "reasonable person" because he didn't like Trump, arrested on child p*rn charges.
Ryan Routh's son Oran Routh was arrested after investigators say they found hundreds of files.
According to investigators, they found the “hundreds” of child pornography files while searching Oran’s residence during a separate investigation that was unrelated to child exploitation.
“Investigators who seized multiple electronic devices found videos sent to Oran Routh in July as well as chats from a messaging application commonly used by people who share child sexual abuse material, the FBI agent said,” according to CBS News.
Many of the illicit files were found on a Samsung Galaxy Note device inside Oran’s bedroom.
“These files include videos from a known child pornography series created outside the state of North Carolina,” court documents state. “Videos from the series depict minors engaged in sex acts.”
The complaint included graphic descriptions of videos of minors “approximately 6 to 8-years-old” as well as “12 to 14-years-old” engaged in sex acts, and a chat from a messaging application in July, where he purportedly asked for a preview of the illicit content for sale.
On September 15th, his father pushed his AK-47 rifle’s muzzle through a hole in a chain-link fence between 300 and 500 yards away from the former president. One hole ahead of Trump on the golf course, a Secret Service agent noticed a gun poking through the fence, so the agent immediately opened fire at 58-year-old Routh.
According to police, Ryan was equipped with a GoPro camera, bags, food supplies, and a scope on his rifle to record the incident. After escaping the area, the suspect was then apprehended shortly after on I-95. Last week, he was charged with two federal firearm crimes: possessing a firearm despite being a convicted felon, and possessing a firearm with an obliterated serial number.

A 39-year-old male suspect dressed in women’s clothes and a blonde wig has been arraigned after allegedly attempting to kidnap an 11-year-old boy.
On Monday, Joshua Freyermuth, who police say also goes by the name “Vicky,” was arraigned at Alliance Municipal Court for the attempted kidnapping.
Alliance Police reported that Freyermuth tried to kidnap an 11-year-old boy from his porch on South Webb Avenue in Alliance, Ohio, on September 22nd.
The police report also states that Freyermuth told the child “I need to talk to you” in a sense of urgency, allegedly utilizing a tactic to lure the 11-year-old off of his property and away from his dog.
However, after the child refused to go with him, Freyermuth ran up and forcefully attempted to grab the 11-year-old boy, but the child was able to get away, Alliance Police stated.
“I wasn’t even there,” said Freyermuth in court. “I didn’t kidnap anybody.”
The 11-year-old victim also claimed that his family dog began attacking the 39-year-old suspect as soon as he got close enough, which prompted Freyermuth to back off.
However, Freyermuth claimed in court that he had no dog bites on him.
According to a police report obtained by the Daily Mail, the suspect was arrested two days earlier, on September 20th, for possessing methamphetamines, paraphernalia, and obstructing official business.
During the investigation, Freyermuth was arrested after officers allegedly discovered 1.6 grams of meth in the van’s steering wheel, as well as a glass bubble pipe holding meth that was hidden beneath the driver's seat.
According to the report, Freyermuth attempted to obstruct officers by lying about his activities, changing his story several times, and providing misleading information.
The report states that there was “no reason to believe” the defendant was in the area “looking for children,” despite the arrest.
He was later released on bond following the September 20th incident.
Freyermuth is due back in court next Monday. His bond is set at $100,000 and he can not be in any contact with the 11-year-old victim.

A manhunt remains in effect in Kentucky for a man suspected in the weekend shooting of nine vehicles and wounding of five people on a busy interstate. Joseph A. Couch, 32, was named a suspect in Saturday’s shootings on I-75 after authorities recovered his SUV on a service road near the crime scene. Authorities later found a semi-automatic weapon nearby that they believe was used in the shooting, said Deputy Gilbert Acciardo, a spokesperson for the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office. He added that dozens of local, state and federal law enforcement officers were involved in the search. Meanwhile, Laurel County Sheriff John Root said Sunday night that the AR-15 rifle used in the shootings was purchased legally on the day of the attack. The search was focused on a remote area north of London, a community of about 8,000 people, roughly 75 miles (120 kilometers) south of Lexington. Laurel County, Kentucky schools were closed Monday out of an abundance of caution.
