Woke Left moving to take over last functional, patriotic institution – the military: Whistleblowers detail hundreds of cases of ‘anti-American indoctrination’

(Natural News) For decades, the left has made inroads into every American institution, taking over the arts and entertainment, academia, science, the federal bureaucracy, and, whenever possible, local, state and national government.

The U.S. military has managed to resist this infiltration, but in recent years — yes, even during the term of the most patriotic president in two generations, Donald Trump — leftists have made progress in the military.

And now that Joe Biden has been installed in the White House, the push to drive patriots out and replace them with propagandized, mind-numbed Communist cadres is in full-force.

It began with Biden’s appointment of Lloyd Austin as defense secretary. Austin, a retired U.S. Army four-star general, must have carried a chip on his shoulder his entire career, which was obviously very successful, because upon confirmation one of his first official acts was to order a 90-day stand-down of the entire military, so commanders could address the services’ most pressing issue: ‘Extremism in the ranks.’

Not Russia. Not China. Not Iran, North Korea, or foreign terrorists and cyber attackers. No. “Extremism” — as in, white extremism.

Since that outrage, the Army has put out a series of what can only be described as ‘woke’ recruiting ads, with one featuring a female soldier with two lesbian mothers and focuses on LGBTQ issues, and another involving a soldier who admitted growing up with psychological issues. This is what we’re using to attract recruits; what kind of ‘soldiers’ then, do you think America is going to get?

The pace at which the military is becoming a Marxist den has alarmed military vets in Congress including Arkansas GOP Sen. Tom Cotton, a Harvard Law-trained, former Army Ranger officer with two combat tours in Iraq, and Texas GOP Rep. Dan Crenshaw, a multiple combat tour U.S. Navy SEAL who nearly gave his life for our country but instead wound up losing an eye instead.

They launched a program in recent weeks aimed at identifying the level of wokeness that has permeated the force thus far, and what they have discovered is nothing short of alarming.

The Epoch Times reports:

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) told Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on June 10 that “hundreds” of military whistleblowers have reported being forced to receive “anti-American indoctrination” training, including critical race theory (CRT).

In a Senate hearing with Austin, Cotton claimed that within the military, there’s “plummeting morale, growing mistrust between races and sexes where none existed just six months ago and unexpected retirements and separations based on these trainings alone.”

Cotton said one whistleblower has alleged that a military history training course was replaced with curriculum dealing with police brutality, “white privilege,” and “systemic racism.” Another claimed his unit was forced to read “White Fragility” by Robin DiAngelo, a feminist author and critical theory proponent.

This comes after the U.S. Space Force relieved Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier, a former instructor and fighter pilot, from command of the 11th Space Warning Squadron because of comments he made denouncing CRT while warning about how Marxist ideology was spreading throughout the service branches.

In response, Austin came up with some BS claiming that curriculum is being developed and released that is “welcoming to everyone who can qualify and who is fit to serve” — though previous recruiting messages focused on toughness, competition, love of country, and commitment to service were working because the services were not suffering shortages of recruits.

“We ought to look like the America we support and defend, and senior leadership should look like what’s in the ranks,” Austin said.

What’s that got to do with anything? Not everyone can serve; it’s a privilege, not a right. And the Pentagon wasn’t putting out messages aimed at discouraging certain demographics from joining or outright discriminating against them.

So again, this is all garbage — it’s just an attempt to destroy the last truly non-partisan institution we have left, and that’s not going to bode well for our future.

Parents derail hiring of toxic Critical Race Theory consultant in California school district.

School Board had no problem with her radical views, but parents went ballistic!

Exposure goes viral – featured on national Fox News!

Part of outrageous district-wide plan to indoctrinate children.

June 18, 2021
ALT TEXT
Dr. Sheri Atwater, a "diversity, inclusion, and equity" consultant, tells the district's Equity Task Force (via Zoom) how she's going to help them stop the white supremacy, identity, and white privilege problems in their schools.

A few parents can make a big difference if the pressure is put in the right places. This is also a story about how these poisonous agendas get into our schools.

Hermosa Beach is a small beachside community in the South Bay section of Los Angeles County. It is one of the wealthiest school districts in the state of California. For years, the students have consistently earned some of the highest test scores, and parents have been more than happy to raise taxes when state lawmakers cut funding to school districts during hard economic times.

Hermosa Beach is a wealthy California town just southeast of Los Angeles.

The Hermosa Beach school district seemed like a ripe target for the radical left’s latest propaganda: Critical Race Theory (CRT). The elected school officials consider themselves “modern” and “progressive” and were becoming increasingly “woke” – and the community trusted them. When the teachers’ union and others pushed this “new important” program, the school officials didn’t want to be left behind.

ALT TEXT

How they went about incorporating the CRT curriculum is a veritable clinic of the leftist strategy to bring a very controversial new agenda into a school system. We’ve seen this around the country.

The roadmap: a “District Equity Resolution”

Things began gearing up last September. The School Board passed a “District Equity Resolution.” This was clearly put together for them by an outside entity from a sophisticated template.

It’s worth studying. The resolution includes a long-winded declaration that there is “institutional and structural racism and injustice” in society at large and in their own community. This includes every person in the school district and their staff – and it’s “affecting student achievement.” (It also lists “gender, gender identity, sexual orientation” among the “biases in our own school district” that must be cleansed.)

The resolution then calls for the creation of an “Equity Task Force” to investigate the district’s racism and injustice further, then create an “Equity Agenda” for fixing it with “Measurable Targets.”

Not surprisingly, this translates into hardcore propaganda sessions for all students in virtually every classroom plus “training sessions” for all staff. There was also a call for “community engagement” – which means spending more money to persuade parents and others that this program is a good thing.

Disguising the true nature and intent of a program is a standard leftist tactic. The term “Critical Race Theory” is nowhere to be found in any of the material (except on their web page where they attempt to deny it). But that’s exactly what it is.

The Equity Task Force was implemented very quickly. This concept of setting up a “task force” to push an offensive agenda into a school district goes back to the 1990s with sex education. The organizers include a wide range of people from the community: school staff, parents, students, administrators, School Board members, and others. This is to give it the aura of a broad-based consensus and input. But the participants are very carefully chosen (to be sufficiently passive), and the core leaders are radicals who are trained experts at directing the group’s decisions. It’s a very common strategy.

The Task Force also set up an “Equity and Inclusion webpage” with “resources and updates” of the Task Force’s work and progress.

MassResistance gets involved

A group of Hermosa Beach parents who monitor and discuss local politics in a social media group became alarmed and began following this disturbing development. The group shared clips of various School Board and Task Force meetings and other material.

In January 2021, our MassResistance Organization Director, Arthur Schaper (who lives in nearby Torrance, CA), got involved to help with this specific issue. Arthur had worked with several of the parents in the past on various local school and civic issues.

The parents were very worried about this but weren’t sure what to do. Arthur encouraged them to take direct action. He told them to file FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests, to get parents to confront the School Board, and to expose to the community what is going on. They agreed with Arthur’s approach. From there, the parents were off and running!

Taking on the School Board

The parents found out that the School Board was spending considerable money on radical outside consulting groups to create and implement their “equity” agenda. It was clearly a “Critical Race Theory” and Marxist agenda that was coming to their school system.

ALT TEXT

Parents started speaking up at the School Board meetings, held remotely via Zoom. Actual public testimony was replaced by emailing the Board, and the Superintendent would read the emails aloud during the meeting. Other parents contacted the Board members directly with their expressions of outrage. At first, just a few got involved, but the number steadily grew as parents lost their fear and reticence.

A parent exposes the horror about to come

Then, the April 13 Equity Task Force meeting included a presentation from a consultant whom the Task Force was hiring, Dr. Sheri Atwater. She is a psychologist and specialist in “diversity, inclusion, and equity” (DEI), and was being hired to design the training sessions for students in classrooms and also school staff. The meeting was via Zoom and made accessible to the public.

Atwater talked about white privilege, identity, and white supremacy, and how important it was to deal with those issues, even in elementary school. “This is the time to build into the curriculum the implicit biases that we all have,” she told the Board. For example: She will ask children to “raise their hands if they are a racist.” No one raises his hand. But by the end of the session she teaches them that they really are racists, but didn’t know it. Now they know.

One of the parents watched the meeting, and was shocked. He made a video of Atwater’s remarks and posted it on YouTube:

VIDEO: SHERI ATWATER AT EQUITY TASK FORCE MEETING (1 min 40 sec)

The video alarmed parents across the city of Hermosa Beach. At the May 12 School Board meeting, parents flooded the Board with angry emails, which the Superintendent read aloud. Parents were livid about Critical Race Theory being taught to children, and especially Atwater’s offensive teaching methods. Coincidentally, Atwater was also there to give a presentation to the Board.

The Board members were very condescending to the parents’ concerns, and simply called them “fearful.” “I encourage the community to come together on this, so they’ll become more comfortable,” one Board member said. Atwater, true to her Marxist roots, described this process as a “journey” and quoted Lenin, saying that it would be, “two steps forward, one step back.” The Board then thanked Atwater for her “great definition of leadership” in this matter. It was like spitting in the face of the worried parents.

ALT TEXT
At the May 12 School Board meeting, the Superintendent (bottom) reads the angry emails to the Board members - and the public.

To try and mitigate the situation, the Superintendent sent a letter to all the school district parents. It used the kind of “educrat-speak” that everyone dislikes:

During the May 12 Board meeting, some Hermosa Beach residents and parents raised concern over the school district hiring a consultant, Dr. Sheri Atwater … Our goal as educators, and I believe as a school community, is to ensure that school is a place where opportunities are available for all students, regardless of label … Dr. Atwater is working with staff to support our goal to meet the needs of all students.

But parents weren’t buying it.

The video goes viral – and makes international news!

Over the next few weeks, the parent’s video of Atwater went viral around the world.

On May 17, The College Fix did an article exposing it. Then on May 21, Laura Ingraham did a scathing commentary on it during her national Fox News TV show. (Note: The video of that segment is not accessible, only the transcript and a screenshot.)

ALT TEXT
Laura Ingraham brought the story across America!

The following day, the Daily Mail out of the United Kingdom did an article on Ingraham’s coverage.

ALT TEXT
... Then it reached Europe!

It was wonderful! People from across the United States – and beyond – became focused on what Hermosa Beach was about to do to their young students.

A victory!

A few days after that, it was quietly reported that Dr. Sheri Atwater had decided not to take the job. On May 27 the Superintendent sent out this email:

As I shared last week, the Board of Education received public comment that raised concern over the school district hiring a consultant, Dr. Sheri Atwater. Dr. Atwater was hired to facilitate staff discussions and professional development around HBCSD's emphasis on equity and inclusion.

Unfortunately, a national cable news outlet and other online media continued to broadcast a short video clip of Dr. Atwater speaking in an Equity Task Force meeting, the video purposely edited to misconstrue her message and meaning in a long, thoughtful conversation. This misinformation attracted national debate and because of it, Dr. Atwater has experienced concerns for her safety and well-being, also affecting her core professional responsibilities as a professor with Loyola Marymount University. As a consequence, she has decided to not move forward as an external consultant for HBCSD.

This is very disingenuous - but par for the course for dishonest school officials. The video did not "misconstrue her message and meaning." Anyone watching her entire frightening remarks would would see that it was a very fair representation. It's also insulting to suggest that she would have to fear for her safety. It sounds like she wants to be "safe" from having to explain herself to parents!

In any case, parents are breathing a sigh of relief that she's gone. It is a huge psychological victory against this arrogant School Board. But there’s still work to do. The whole Critical Race Theory train needs to be derailed in Hermosa Beach. We’re going to help them work on that.

Final thoughts

It’s a common situation where parents see what’s going on and are very upset, but don’t do anything about it. MassResistance is proud that Arthur Schaper was able to inspire the parents to act – and equip them with tactics.

A few of the parents made a point of thanking us for that! One mother said:

Arthur helped inspire the team to go after the School Board. We would not have been following exactly what was going in the school district if Arthur had strongly encouraged us to do that. He gave the Hermosa Beach activists tips and directions on what to do to take on the School Board: reach out to residents, write emails, file FOIA requests, and more!

Another local resident wrote us:

I wish to tell you how much I admire the work of Arthur Schaper. I will tell you up front that in the beginning, I was not a fan. What I discovered after some time was that Arthur had the courage of his convictions and over time I switched to being a fan. Slowly he changed my mind and I began to admire him.

Most recently, Arthur said in a polite way that I was not stepping up. I had my reasons for not stepping up, but I thought about what he said. The end result was that I did finally step up in my own way. It was because of Arthur that I mustered the courage to speak up.

Please give Arthur a pat on the back for his efforts. His work is not going unnoticed in my tiny community of Hermosa Beach, CA.

We’re thrilled that MassResistance was able to make a difference!

Please help us continue to do our uncompromising work!

Our successes depend on people like you.

Judge Blocks Biden’s Anti-white Farm Program. Gov’t Can’t Forgive Loans Only for Minorities

Judge Blocks Biden’s Anti-white Farm Program. Gov’t Can’t Forgive Loans Only for Minorities

BY R. CORT KIRKWOOD

A federal court has bluntly shut down the Biden administration’s plan to discriminate against white farmers by creating a loan forgiveness program only for blacks and other minorities.

In a temporary restraining order issued June 10, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin blocked the Agriculture Department’s Farm Services Agency from forgiving the loans pursuant to the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. The law sought to help farmers supposedly affected by the China Virus pandemic.

Judge William C. Griesbach sharply stated Biden and his agriculture bureaucrats cannot discriminate against whites.

Not So Fast, Biden

The five original plaintiffs, all white farmers, argued that ARPA’s provision trespasses the Constitution’s prohibition of racial discrimination.

As the FSA said of the program, “the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 provides historic debt relief to socially disadvantaged producers including Black/African American, American Indian or Alaskan native, Hispanic or Latino, and Asian American or Pacific Islander.”

Tranlsation: Whitey need not apply.

Argued the white farmers:

While Defendants’ public statements about ARPA describe their generalized goal of ending “systemic racism,” such broad goals do not override the constitutional ban on race discrimination. In fact, the Supreme Court has “rejected the interest in remedying societal discrimination because it had no logical stopping point. … In short, “[t]he way to stop discrimination on the basis of race is to stop discriminating on the basis of race.” …

The liberty protected by the Fifth Amendment’s Due Process Clause contains within it the prohibition against denying to any person the equal protection of the laws. …

The racial classifications under Section 1005 of ARPA are unconstitutional because they violate the Equal Protection guarantee in the United States Constitution.

The number of plaintiffs grew to 12 before the judge ruled.

Court Agrees

The court issued the temporary restraining order (TRO) because the white plaintiffs are likely to succeed in their claim, Judge Griesbach wrote.

Though the defendants “point to statistical and anecdotal evidence of a history of discrimination within the agricultural industry,” that doesn’t justify harming whites:

Defendants cannot rely on a “generalized assertion that there has been past discrimination in an entire industry” and they “have no evidence of intentional discrimination by the USDA in the implementation of the recent agriculture subsidies and pandemic relief efforts.

Nor did Biden and his anti-white subalterns “establish that it has a compelling interest in remedying the effects of past and present discrimination through the distribution of benefits on the basis of racial classifications.”

Even better, the judge explained that “the obvious response to a government agency that claims it continues to discriminate against farmers because of their race or national origin is to direct it to stop: It is not to direct it to intentionally discriminate against others on the basis of their race and national origin.”

Biden “cannot discriminate on the basis of race.”

Though the administration argues that loan forgiveness is meant to help “socially-disadvantaged farmers affected by COVID-19,” Griesbach wrote, “it does not provide relief based on losses sustained during the pandemic.”

Instead, the only consideration in determining whether a farmer or rancher’s loans should be completely forgiven is the person’s race or national origin. Plaintiffs are completely excluded from participation in the program based on their race. If the Court does not issue an injunction, the USDA will spend the allocated money and forgive the loans of minority farmers while the case is pending and will have no incentive to provide similar relief on an equitable basis to others. Plaintiffs are excluded from the program based on their race and are thus experiencing discrimination at the hands of their government.

The judge ruled that white farmers “have established a strong likelihood” the loan forgiveness section of ARPA is unconstitutional.

Though Biden’s side said any TRO should apply only to the plaintiffs, the judge disagreed and issued a nationwide injunction:

Defendants’ proposal to set aside funds to pay off any of Plaintiffs’ qualified loans is unworkable. If the USDA forgave Plaintiffs’ loans, it would be required to forgive every farmer’s loan, since the only criteria for loan forgiveness is the applicant’s race. Plaintiffs estimate that this would increase the cost of the program to $400 billion. In addition, nothing would prevent Plaintiffs from amending the complaint to add other farmers and ranchers as plaintiffs to this action. To ensure that Plaintiffs receive complete relief and that similarly-situated nonparties are protected, a universal temporary restraining order in this case is proper.

The ruling means Biden and Vilsack “are enjoined from forgiving any loans” under the unconstitutional law.

ST. LOUIS’ Racist Mayor: Tishaura Jones

BY JOSEPH KLEIN

SEE: https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/2021/06/racist-mayor-tishaura-jones-joseph-klein/;

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

Editor's note: This is the 7th part in Frontpage Mag's new series on Racist Mayors. (See previous parts below this article). Stay tuned for more installments.

The murder rate in St. Louis, Missouri, which is at a 50-year high, is reportedly the highest in the country. Tishaura Jones, who became St. Louis’s first African American female mayor last April, rejects the notion that it is the individuals who commit the violent crimes who should be held fully responsible for their crimes and serve their sentences in prison.  Jones, a radical leftist who has been described as a “champion of Black Lives Matter,” believes that society is responsible. She blames “systemic racism” and poverty as the root causes of the rampant crime afflicting her city. The newly elected mayor believes the answers to the crime problem in St. Louis are to cut the police department budget, close a jail, end cash bail, mandate mental health evaluations for police officers, and send social workers in response to 911 calls.

In one of her first decisions as mayor, Jones proposed an initial $4 million reduction in the St. Louis Police Department budget, including the elimination of 98 officers’ positions from the police force. “More police doesn't prevent crime,” Jones asserted last month. Nevertheless, in the typical leftwing hypocrisy of “rules for thee but not for me,” Mayor Jones “doubled the number of police officers on her personal security team,” according to the Police Tribune. While “Jones is beefing up her personal security,” the Police Tribune added, “she doesn’t seem as worried about the security of her voters.”

Former St. Louis Public Safety Director Jimmie Edwards, an African American, said last year that protesters outraged over police brutality against African Americans are ignoring the main issue involving the loss of black lives to crime. “Black-on-black crime--we run away from it like it doesn't happen," Edwards said. Jones rejects this premise out of hand, despite the overwhelming evidence that supports Edwards’ statement of fact. Jones' rush to blame a supposedly white-controlled racist system for the crimes rather than the perpetrators themselves - too often blacks killing or maiming other blacks - is racist in itself.

During her campaign for mayor, Jones tweeted that she planned on replacing Edwards because “it's time for a new direction. We'll put the public back in public safety, we'll make sure that police aren't the only response when you call 9-1-1, and we'll lead with prevention-first.” Edwards resigned before the April 2021 mayoral election.

As Matthew Vadum noted in his May 29th FrontPage article, “Jones’s campaign, which focused on ‘progressive’ criminal justice reforms, was unabashedly racist.” For example, Jones proudly tweeted on March 30th essentially what she had said during her debate with her liberal white female opponent: “A white person doesn’t have to have the ‘talk’ with their children. While I appreciate the role of white allies in this movement of progress, I don’t believe they have the lived experience to lead a majority-minority City right now.”

Jones racially stereotyped white parents and children as being too “privileged” to bother having a serious “talk” about crime.

Moreover, in Tishaura Jones’ racially divided world of "oppressors" versus the "oppressed," whites have no business running St. Louis solely because they are of the wrong skin color. Jones reiterated this message during her victory lap as Mayor-Elect. During a CNN interview on April 8th, Jones said that “what I heard from voters is that they are ready for a black woman to lead this city, that a black woman has lived experiences that others do not.” Jones is a purveyor of racist identity politics.

This wasn’t Jones’ first run for mayor. “St. Louis is the epicenter of Black Lives Matter,” Jones declared back in 2017 when she ran against and lost to a white female, Lyda Krewson, who chose not to run for re-election in 2021. After winning this time against another white female opponent, Jones spitefully declined to invite Krewson to her April 20th inaugural ceremony – breaking a decades-old tradition.

Mayor Jones is now busy making St. Louis City Hall the epicenter of Black Lives Matter and its anti-white, far-left progressive platform. Jones is also trying to do the same with the St. Louis Public Schools Board of Education, filling a vacant seat with a 25-year old pro-Back Lives Matter activist named Alisha Sonnier.

Sonnier made her mark as a leftwing agitator when she helped lead a student week-long occupation of a portion of Saint Louis University’s campus in 2014. Just seven years later, the young activist ran for a seat on the Board of Education. The only candidate out of ten whom Jones endorsed during the campaign was Sonnier, who lost anyway. Not to worry as far as Jones was concerned. After Jones won her own campaign for mayor, she used her current appointment power to have Sonnier fill a remaining vacant seat on the Board of Education.

Three weeks prior to the announcement of Sonnier’s appointment to the Board of Education on May 11th, Sonnier tweeted “that it’s time we look at how systematic oppression, capitalism & other structural inequities are negatively impacting us all & we’re overdue for systematic changes.”

Less than two weeks after her appointment, Sonnier tweeted enthusiastically about an event she attended where she had the opportunity to discuss “the intersection of white supremacy + class + patriarchy + abortion.” With Sonnier, Mayor Jones’s handpicked leftwing progressive wunderkind on the St. Louis Public Schools Board of Education, some radical changes in education may be right around the corner. St. Louis public school teachers and students could soon see the racist, anti-white critical race theory and the New York Times’ historically distorted “1619 Project” become an integral part of the St. Louis public school curriculum.

Mayor Tishaura Jones blames St. Louis’s out-of-control crime rate on systemic racism and poverty. The police, she believes, are a major part of the problem rather than a key part of the solution. It is estimated that the homicide rate per 100,000 in 2020 was 87.2. If systemic racism and poverty are the long-term root causes of crime as Jones and her Black Lives Matter allies claim, how do they explain the much lower homicide rate between 1997 and 2001, when a former African American mayor who had previously served as chief of police was in charge? It's worth looking back for a moment to get some perspective on Jones's racially divisive agenda as the third African American elected mayor in St. Louis.

During Clarence Harmon’s one term as the second African American elected mayor in St. Louis, the average homicide rate per 100,000 was under 40. Harmon’s predecessor, Freeman R. Bosley Jr., was the first African American elected mayor in St. Louis, whom Harmon defeated in the March 1997 mayoral Democratic primary. During Bosley Jr.’s one term, the homicide rate per 100,000 exceeded 50. After Harmon completed his term and brought the homicide rate down by approximately 20 percent, the rate did not rise above 50 again until 2015.

Bosley Jr. and Harmon had widely divergent approaches to dealing with crime and race, which first played out when Harmon resigned out of frustration as St. Louis’s police chief in 1995 while Bosley Jr. was mayor. Harmon felt that he was not getting enough support as police chief from Bosley Jr., who tended to look at the police through a racial prism. Harmon decided instead to run in 1997 against Bosley, Jr., who was seeking a second term as mayor.

During their 1997 primary campaign for mayor against each other, Bosley Jr.’s father, Alderman Freeman Bosley Sr., called Harmon a ``rented Negro.″  Bosley Jr.’s campaign was built around such racial polarization, casting Harmon as the white establishment candidate. Harmon ran his campaign as a coalition builder seeking racial rapport. ”The best representation is provided for all the people,” Harmon said. ”Everybody has to feel included.”

The voters in St. Louis back then were turned off by the racially tinged rhetoric of Bosley Jr.’s campaign. They felt more confident voting for the law and order candidate with a strong police background and sent Bosley Jr. packing. After Harmon won the general election the next month against two white opponents, he said "I'm ready to start the healing process beginning with this moment, the healing process St. Louis so desperately needs."

Fast forward to 2021. Tishaura Jones ran a racially charged, anti-police campaign. Rather than seek to heal racial divisions in her city after she won the election, Jones is using her office to widen the racial divide. That’s how leftwing progressive racists roll.

Petition to Remove Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin

Editors' note: The hour is late. We need to mount a mass campaign to oppose the betrayal of our country by the Biden Administration and a military leadership that is undermining troop morale and sabotaging our country’s ability to defend itself. Please sign the petition below and spread the word.

Petition to Remove Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin:

No institution in America – from government offices to schoolrooms to corporate boardrooms and beyond – is safe today from the divisive racism of Critical Race Theory and the “1619 Project.” both of which posit that United States history is rooted in slavery and white supremacy, and that “whiteness” is an incurable disease. The institution whose subversion poses the greatest threat to our national security is the U.S. military, whose head is Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin. General Austin is a determined advocate of these repulsive anti-American views.

As Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin has incorporated both Critical Race Theory and the 1619 Project as core elements of the Pentagon’s military training programs, under the guise of “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.” He has further ordered a purging of the military ranks of what he calls “extremists,” defined as opponents of these noxious views and supporters of former president Donald Trump.

The consequence of dividing our troops by race and gender, and regarding one community of Americans as oppressors and beneficiaries of race and gender-based privileges is a direct threat to unit cohesion and military morale, the core elements of an effective military force.
That’s why I hope you’ll join me, and demand the Removal of Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.

If you are a 19-year old and pondering whether it is worth risking your life for your country, the teachings now current in the United States military will cause you to have second thoughts about the country you are supposed to defend.

On April 9, 2021, Secretary Austin issued a memorandum announcing the establishment of the Countering Extremism Working Group (CEWG) to spearhead the military’s internal witch-hunt of “extremism” in the ranks.

To lead the CEWG, Austin appointed as his senior adviser, a black American named Bishop Garrison, who has made no secret of his profound contempt for former President Trump and the millions of people who voted for him. In July 2019, for example, Garrison wrote: “Support for him [Trump], a racist, is support for ALL his beliefs. He’s dragging a lot of bad actors (misogynists, extremists, other racists) out into the light, normalizing their actions. If you support the President, you support that.”

As part of the re-education of our fighting force, Austin’s officers have required recruits to watch a film portraying Democrat presidents – and only Democrat presidents - as civil rights heroes, thus dividing military personnel along partisan political lines as well.
Please add your name to this petition right away, and demand the Senate remove Secretary Austin.

Richard Torres-Estrada, the new “chief of diversity” for Special Operations, has compared President Trump to Hitler. His appointment came as part of a plan for embedding intersectionality into Special Operations diversity training through the “interconnectedness of matters relating to culture, ethnicity, religion, class, race, and gender”.

“The job of the Department of Defense is to keep America safe from our enemies,” explains Austin.  “But we can't do that if some of those enemies lie within our own ranks.”

Or, if they preside over those ranks.

Secretary Austin claims his planned purge “is not about politics or political views.” Yet, nearly all 18 members of the Combatting Extremism Working Group in charge of the purge supported Joe Biden and the Democrats in the 2020 elections. Six of them are radical Islamists including a Pakistani national, who is not even a citizen. This is hardly surprising since in his first days as Secretary of Defense Austin ordered hundreds of former President Trump’s appointees from at least 31 Pentagon advisory boards and panels, to resign.

To guide his political purge, Austin has recruited the Southern Poverty Law Center, a notorious, fact-challenged smear operation which has routinely labeled conservative organizations and individuals like the American Enterprise Institute and Trump HUD Secretary Ben Carson as “hate mongers.”

In a world as dangerous as ours where our chief adversary China is openly and aggressively building what it hopes will be the most dominant military force in the world, having a divisive, morale-sapping, politically partisan Secretary of Defense in charge of the nation’s defenses is itself a threat to national security.

On May 10, 2021, Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier, a commanding officer with the U.S. Space Force, released a self-published book titled Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military. “As a commander of young military professionals, all of whom have taken an oath to support and defend the Constitution,” wrote Lohmeier, “I became concerned that race-based identity politics would erode the trust and confidence these young people have in their country and in the Constitution.” In his book, Lohmeier recounts stories of white officers who left the military because they grew tired of being told that “they are racists solely based on the color of their skin.” He describes high-school students as reluctant to join the armed services because “they are unsure what their country stands for anymore.” And he cites black West Point cadets who, as a result of the Marxist propaganda with which they have been indoctrinated, are “conflicted about swearing an oath to defend a white supremacist country.”

For expressing his concerns, Lohnmeier was fired from his command and removed from his Space Force unit, whose task is the tracking of ballistic missile launches.

Sincerely,

David Horowitz

Biden Halts Use of Defense Funds for Border Wall. Here’s Where the Money Is Going Instead

The fate of America’s border wall is uncertain as the Biden administration pursues a markedly different course on immigration than that of former president Donald Trump.

Biden is reportedly giving back more than $2 billion that had been redirected from Defense Department projects in order to fund the border wall long sought by President Trump. Furthermore, the Biden White House is asking Congress to cancel other remaining border wall funds.

On the campaign trail, Biden vowed not to build “another foot” of the wall along the southern U.S. border. One of the president’s first actions in the Oval Office was to pause the wall’s construction. He also called for a plan for use of the wall funds to be submitted within 60 days, a deadline that lapsed in March.

“Building a massive wall that spans the entire southern border and costs American taxpayers billions of dollars is not a serious policy solution or responsible use of Federal funds,” read a release from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).

The Department of Defense (DoD) has already started ending border wall construction projects that used diverted funds. The Biden administration has said they are halting expansion of the wall wherever legally possible.

The monies that had been allocated for the wall will now go to 66 different defense projects, including for military housing, on-base schools, and training facilities.

Additionally, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is reviewing land that was acquired by eminent domain over the past year for the border wall. If DHS deems tracts of land not to be needed, it “will work to return the land to its prior owners.”

Yet the administration is required to use an estimated $1.9 billion in funds on border barriers because they were directed to do so by Congress. For this reason, the White House is “reiterating its call for Congress to cancel funds it previously appropriated for border barrier projects so that these resources can instead be used for modern, effective border management measures to improve safety and security.”

The Biden DHS seeks to use those funds to prioritize “urgent life, safety, and environmental issues resulting from the previous Administration’s wall construction,” as well as for clean-up of DoD-funded construction sites.

Earlier this year, the Biden administration said it would resume construction of a flood wall in the Rio Grande Valley area of south Texas and address soil erosion on the U.S. border along San Diego, California.

Under President Trump, the federal government built 52 miles of new slatted structures where no barrier had previously existed and added hundreds of miles of replacement fencing.

Supporters of the wall argue that using defense funds for the wall is not “diverting” at all because a border barrier that repels foreign invasion is a core national defense activity.

In the absence of presidential initiative on border security, some Republicans are seeking to stop illegal immigration at the state level.

Texas Governor Greg Abbot, a Republican, has announced that he will build a wall along the southern border.

“Long term, only Congress and the president can fix our broken border,” Abbott said in Del Rio. “But in the meantime, Texas is going to do everything possible, including beginning to make arrests, to keep our community safe, to keep the cartels and smugglers out, and to keep your community safe.”

Earlier this month, Abbot moved to close more than 50 shelters in Texas that house approximately 4,000 migrant children, arguing that the federal government cannot legally force the state to continue issuing licenses in reaction to a federal problem. The Biden administration has threatened to sue unless that order is rescinded.

Even Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the agency whose purpose it is to enforce federal immigration law, has taken a softer approach under Biden. The agency has terminated a Trump-era office that focused on victims of crimes linked to illegal immigration.

Notably, Texas Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, Biden’s pick to lead ICE, opposed ICE raids to deport illegal aliens during the Trump administration.

“I do not support #ICERaids that threaten to deport millions of undocumented immigrants, the vast majority of whom do not represent a threat to the U.S.,” Gonzalez tweeted in July of 2019. “The focus should always be on clear & immediate safety threats. Not others who are not threats.”

Biden’s War on Domestic Terror Confirms Conservatives’ Fears

On Tuesday, President Joe Biden released a blueprint for his New War on Terror. In the “National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism,” the Biden White House pledges that the administration will combat domestic terrorism “while vigilantly safeguarding peaceful expression of a wide range of views and freedom of political association.” Yet the administration’s biases give conservatives good reason to doubt this pledge.

The White House claims that the “two most lethal elements” of domestic terrorism are “racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists who advocate for the superiority of the white race” and “anti-government or anti-authority violent extremists, such as militia violent extremists.”

The document lays out four elements of a strategy to fight domestic terrorism: sharing domestic terrorism analyses at all levels of government and occasionally with the private sector; preventing domestic terrorism recruitment and mobilization to violence; disrupting and deterring domestic terrorism activity; and confronting “long-term contributors to domestic terrorism.”

RecommendedBiden Is Carrying Out the New ‘War on Terror’ Right Under Our Noses

Each element should raise alarms for conservatives and Republicans, given the Biden administration’s hyperbolic rhetoric on racism and the Capitol riot. Biden has condemned commonsense election reform as “Jim Crow on steroids” and said the Capitol riot was worse than the Lincoln assassination, the John F. Kennedy assassination, and multiple violent attacks on the U.S. Capitol.

The Biden White House’s pledge to share domestic terrorism data “throughout law enforcement at the federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial levels” seems innocent enough. However, the document states that the Treasury Department “is exploring ways to enhance the identification and analysis of financial activity of domestic terrorists.”

While it makes sense to throttle terrorist organizations that raise money for violence, this targeting of financial activity seems reminiscent of the Southern Poverty Law Center’s attempts to cut off conservative groups from charitable funding by branding them “hate groups” and listing them alongside the Ku Klux Klan. In March, an information leak at a crowdfunding website led to a witch hunt against police officers who had contributed to the legal defense fund of Kyle Rittenhouse.

Biden’s plan also pledges to “prevent domestic terrorism recruitment” — an extremely ambitious goal — by targeting “online terrorist recruitment and mobilization” and “eliminating terrorist content online while safeguarding the freedom of online expression.”

RecommendedWhistleblowers Explain How Biden’s Woke ‘Extremism’ Training Is Tearing the Military Apart

Ironically, the president from the very Democratic Party that swelled with chants of “Defund the Police” last summer pledged to allocate “over $77 million” to “state, local, tribal, and territorial partners to prevent, protect against, and respond to domestic violent extremism.” This Democratic president will increase funding for law enforcement, so long as the police are pushing his New War on Terror. The Biden document also calls for more than $100 million in additional resources for the DOJ, FBI, and DHS for this effort.

When it comes to disrupting and deterring domestic terrorism, the Biden document touts new “employee screening to enhance methods for identifying domestic terrorists who might pose insider threats.” Similarly, DOD, DOJ, and DHS aim to “ensure domestic terrorists are not employed within our military or law enforcement ranks.” Whistleblowers in the military have warned that these efforts to combat “extremism” have pushed critical race theory and demonized white people. Various training materials used for “extremism” training pit service members against one another and suggest that conservative views are dangerous.

Yet the fourth pillar of Biden’s domestic terror agenda — “Confront long-term contributors to domestic terrorism” — may be the most chilling.

Every component of the government has a role to play in rooting out racism and bigotry and advancing equity for all Americans,” this section of the fact sheet reads. “The U.S. Government, in close partnership with civil society, will address the long-term contributors that are responsible for much of today’s domestic terrorism.

While it makes sense to study the ideologies behind acts of violence, the Biden administration’s biased focus on specific types of terrorism will result in a dangerous double standard. Nowhere does the document mention radical Islam — the ideology behind the Pulse Nightclub shooting and the September 11, 2001, attacks — or the demonization of police — the motive behind the Dallas shooting in 2016.

In fact, the document references a long list of terrorist attacks, focusing on the white supremacist terror of the Ku Klux Klan and claiming that “in recent years, we have seen a resurgence of this and related threats in one horrific incident after another.” The document mentions the Dallas shooter, who appears to have been inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement to assassinate police officers he assumed were white, but it describes this shooter as “an anti-authority violent extremist.” Similarly, it mentions the congressional baseball game shooting in 2017, in which a leftist terrorist attempted to assassinate Republican members of Congress, but the document describes the shooter as “a lone gunman.”

It seems particularly curious that Biden describes white racism and militias as the key terror threats while ignoring the underlying motives of the Pulse Nightclub shooting, the Dallas shooting, and the attempted assassination of Republican congressmen.

Most terrifying, however, Biden pledges that “the U.S. Government will also work to find ways to counter the polarization often fueled by disinformation, misinformation, and dangerous conspiracy theories online, supporting an information environment that fosters healthy democratic discourse.”

During the 2020 presidential election, Biden and his allies in the legacy media dismissed as “misinformation” and “conspiracy” many claims that proved to be true. The Hunter Biden laptop and the possibility that COVID-19 leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology provide the most glaring examples of “misinformation” that turned out not to be misinformation. A CNN director even told Project Veritas that his network ran “propaganda” to help defeat President Donald Trump in 2020.

When Big Tech and the legacy media clamp down on “misinformation” and “conspiracy theories,” this “fact-checking” bias disproportionately hits conservatives and conservative media (you can subscribe to PJ Media to help us survive these threats). If the Biden administration is getting in on the act, that bodes ill for the free speech of anyone to the right of Nancy Pelosi.

In his speech to commemorate the Tulsa Race Massacre early this month, Biden not only compared the Capitol riot to the Tulsa massacre (a true act of white supremacist violence that killed at least 39 people) but he explicitly connected this “through-line” to his upcoming “broader strategy to counter domestic terrorism.” This latest document confirms conservatives’ fears about the tenor of this New War on Terror.

RecommendedCHILLING: Biden’s Tulsa Massacre Speech Should Set Off Alarm Bells

The Biden administration is using the awesome might of the U.S. government to demonize conservative critics as abettors of extremist ideology, if not enemies of the state.

Racist Philadelphia Mayor: Jim Kenney

BY THOM NICKELS

Editor's note: This is the sixth part in Frontpage Mag's new series on Racist Mayors. (See previous parts below this article). Stay tuned for more installments.

As a Philadelphia City Councilman in 2014, two years before his election as the city’s 99th mayor, Jim Kenney, an Eagles fan, tweeted that Chris Christie, a Cowboys fan, was a “fat ass.” Kenney then let it rip: “You suck! Kissing Texas ass for 2016!”

While sports fanaticism might be a forgivable offense among overzealous males, two years earlier in 2012, Kenney tweeted Lou Dobbs after the latter made critical comments about Obama’s reelection:  “You are a large asshole. Crawl back under your rock. You are a hater and a creep hiding behind your microphone.”

Kenney’s obsession with proctology-laced tweets was not lost on his staff. The solution was the application of a phone app that screened the Councilman’s outgoing messages. The child-proof controls worked like magic. In no time, Kenney was ‘tweety clean’ despite a later discovery that he was paying someone $29,000 a year to tweet for him.

At the height of Philadelphia’s 2015 mayoral campaign, local media referred to Kenney, the son of a working-class Irish South Philadelphia family, as “Jimmy from the block.” The term of endearment, while having an old school Philadelphia feel, did not mean that the Councilman gave off chummy-- even happy-- neighborhood vibes. If anything, the reverse was true: “Jimmy from the block” has always come across as a remote, isolated and pensive individual as if he’d spent a lifetime trying to find the right “political identity.”

This (existentially tortured) look of his spiked during the June 2020 George Floyd riots when nearly every political protest in the city turned into a melee of broken windows, fires and demolished storefronts, especially in the city’s tony Rittenhouse Square section where rioters smashed and looted A-list businesses. Kenney was not very visible then. For many Philadelphians he appeared to be hiding in City Hall until he could figure out what to do, although he did order a daily 8PM curfew when not issuing occasional statements reaffirming that the destruction taking place throughout the city was being caused by a minority of trouble makers.

While his left-wing political ties forbade him from condemning BLM or Antifa outright he did what most leftist mayors and governors did in June 2020: he blamed the violence on a few unruly types, infiltrators who were “not real protesters.”  What he conveniently forgot was the fact that the ‘few unruly’ types numbered in the hundreds or thousands and that their actions crippled the city for weeks, if not months.  The fact is that almost every George Floyd protest in the City of Philadelphia at that time ended in violence or some kind of mayhem with the exception of the June 6th protest in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art where 2500 protesters shouted, “No Justice, no Peace, no Racist Police.” The fact that there was no violence at that rally surprised many people.

By June 2020, Kenney’s lefty wings were already poised for flight,  having been firmly fitted in May 2015 when he won the Democratic primary. As The Atlantic noted then, “The Democratic primary for Philadelphia mayor pitted a crusading left-winger against a charter-school advocate backed by suburban hedge-fund magnates. This time, the left-winger, a former city councilman named Jim Kenney, actually won.”

“Jimmy from the block” was swept into the mayor’s office by progressives, many of them ‘urbanist’ millennial types who saw his victory as a sign that the Democratic Party, nationally, would soon head in a radical leftward direction.

Nanoseconds after being sworn in as mayor (but before the start of his Inaugural bash), Kenney signed an executive order reinstating Philadelphia’s status as a sanctuary city for [illegal] immigrants.

“If this were Cousin Emilio or Cousin Guido, we wouldn’t have this problem because they’re white,” Kenney said. He then went on to criticize his own Irish South Philadelphia community for telling Italian immigrants years ago to “go back where they came from.”

The mayor’s executive order put critics of illegal immigration on notice that he was aligning himself with the policies of big city leftist mayors like Bill de Blasio of New York and London Breed of San Francisco.  If a new “progressivist” policy popped up in New York City, it was only a matter of time before it made its way to Philadelphia.

Kenney felt so comfortable in his role as a pro-sanctuary city advocate that he danced an Irish jig in his City Hall office when in June of 2018 a federal judge ruled in favor of the city’s sanctuary city status. That little dance (captured on video) put city residents on notice that Philadelphia was on a big progressivist roll… and there’d be no going back.

The early days of Kenney’s administration--before the Frank Rizzo and Christopher Columbus statue controversies, COVID, and the George Floyd riots-- were perhaps his happiest as mayor because he had not yet gone full de Blasio.

An especially exuberant Kenney, for instance, can be seen in videos rushing onstage at the October 2017 Out & Equal Workplace Summit. Greeting the audience to the tune of Elton John’s  ‘Philadelphia Freedom,’ he told the cheering crowd to keep the faith.

“The last time I felt so unsteady was 1968 when I was 10 years old and the world seemed to be coming apart like it is today. But the thing I know about 1968 is that we got through it, and we will get through Donald Trump and we will get through this.” The crowd gave Kenney a standing ovation, further proof (not that any was needed) that there was little ‘Philadelphia Freedom’ when it came to Donald Trump fans.

Kenney, who prefers to read his speeches (which tend to be rather short), delivers them with as little audience eye contact as possible. While making his 2015 victory speech, for instance, he barely lifted his eyes from his handheld script.

Donald Trump’s presidency unhinged Kenney to such a degree that the mayor seemed to take a sabbatical from focusing on Philadelphia issues but instead concentrated on all things Trump.

“It's sad -- terribly sad,” Kenney tweeted after President Trump told four Democratic Congresswomen to go back to the crime-infested countries where they came from, “that Trump tells American Congresswomen to leave the country they love because they don't see the world through his racist eyes -- on the same day that ICE rounds up families seeking refuge in USA.  We must continue to RESIST!”

Of course, it’s highly probable that Trump was referring to the ancestral homes of these four Congresswomen rather than implying that the women themselves migrated to the United States. Yet this nuance was lost on progressives, thanks mainly to—what else?-- Trump Derangement Syndrome. The mindless overuse of the word ‘racist,’ the left’s favorite attack word, as well as the use of the word ‘resist’ (in capital letters, Antifa style) was another indication that “Jimmy from the block” was aligning himself not only with de Blasio but with the slogans of street revolutionaries.

Wokeness in Philadelphia is its own style of pandemic, affecting not only politicians but every cultural institution from the Philadelphia Museum of Art to any number of museums or libraries that all drink from the same Flavor Aid. The woke pandemic is so far reaching in the City of Brotherly Love and its suburbs that it has even affected museums like the Pearl S Buck house museum in Bucks County, where one can sign up for a so called social justice tour, presumably to learn how Pearl Buck, author of The Good Earth and 99 other books and who died in 1973, would have behaved as a Black Lives Matter advocate.

Kenney’s full immersion into wokeness can be traced to the time when he and DA Larry Krasner tied the hands of the police during the June 2020 George Floyd riots.

That’s when marauding street mobs trashed the downtown area and then proceeded to invade the neighborhoods of West Philadelphia, Fishtown and Port Richmond. Port Richmond’s multiple strip malls were delicious targets for the marauders.

For five or six consecutive nights the people of these neighborhoods had to contend with the destruction of stores and restaurants, exploding ATMs, fires and toxic smoke as well as the constant sound of police sirens and police helicopters.  Cautious store owners not in the direct line of fire along Aramingo Avenue in Port Richmond boarded up their businesses as a precaution. They also closed early and turned off all their lights at night so that great stretches of the city were in complete darkness. Occasionally, random rioters would storm these closed-off ‘safe areas’ and destroyed a few properties just to show authorities that they “were around.”

Nothing seemed to stop the riots until the National Guard was deployed—a day late and a dollar short, as they say—but this was well after the destruction had taken place. Armed guardsmen now appeared on the street, Third World style, but that didn’t change the fact that many of the stores taking precautions were still boarded up, some remaining closed for a month.

Residents in the neighborhoods near Aramingo Avenue wondered how long it would be before the mobs got to their home streets.  People began to talk about protecting their families. Protection from police was not an option because the DA and the mayor had made sure that the police would be doing as little as possible. During the West Philadelphia riots, the police had actually run from the rioters when a number of police vehicles were turned over and set on fire.

Why was it taking the City of Philadelphia so long to bring the anarchists under control if only a “few unruly’ types were responsible for the mayhem?

When a group of neighborhood Fishtown men, frustrated at the city’s inability to end the violence, armed themselves with baseball bats and formed a ring in front of Fishtown’s 26th Police District when it was announced that an anti-police rally would take place there, Philadelphia leftists went crazy despite the fact that during the riots about 50 ATMs were blown up by thieves using M100 and M250 explosives in an attempt to steal the money inside.

“The 26th District police station was where a group of mostly white men assembled Monday wielding baseball bats, purportedly to protect police from protesters,” WHYY reported on June 2020. “The group assaulted three people and heckled protestors demonstrating against police brutality. Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw and Mayor Jim Kenney later condemned their actions.”

The appearance of the men with baseball bats was understandable given the fact that nearly every George Floyd protest in the city that began peacefully ended on a not-so-peaceful note. The neighbors with the bats had no reason to suspect that this “peaceful protest” would be any different, so they were there just in case.

As fast as a grease fire in a frying pan, the focus in the media went from anarchist mobs burning down and looting businesses to a bunch of white men calling protestors mean names.

WHYY quoted one protestor, an area store owner, who said that he wanted “a better explanation of why the group of white men with weapons were allowed to disrupt a peaceful protest and violate the curfew.” The man added that he wanted the 26th District “to condemn the incident as racist.”

Kenney jumped into the fray. "We do not condone vigilantism," he said. "We understand that communities desire to protect their neighborhood, and if they want to do that in peace, we would allow it, regardless of neighborhood. But armed vigilantism will not be tolerated moving forward. I am glad police moved in to eventually disperse the group, but I am not happy about how long it took."

How long it took?

Did Jim Kenney really say that when row house residents in the 26th District and elsewhere could not leave their houses at night for over a week because the city was under siege?

Philadelphia’s news media misled the public when they stated that hundreds of Fishtown residents participated in the anti-police brutality protest in front of the 26th District. What the media did not report was the fact that these so-called ‘Fishtowners’ were mainly young transplants from the suburbs, New York and other cities, the very same millennials who expressed their love for Jim Kenney’s leftist politics.

As a writer for The Philadelphia Citizen put it, “Millennials love Kenney because he’d grabbed the low-hanging progressive fruit — LGBT equality, marijuana decriminalization, bike lanes.”   But the Fishtown residents protesting outside the 26th District were anything but the real indigenous Fishtowners who had settled in the neighborhood decades before. Those people, the real Fishtowners, tended to side with—or at least understand--the motivations of the men with baseball bats.

Kenney’s woke credentials were matted and framed when he opted to get rid of the Frank Rizzo statue near City Hall, and the Christopher Columbus statue in Marconi Plaza in South Philadelphia. These actions codified him as a hard-core ideologue, Mr. Antifa (with manners) in a suit.

It should be noted that the city’s mania for statue destruction got a kick start in 2019 with the Flyers’ covering and removal of the statue of Kate Smith, known as “The First Lady of Radio,” and as the best singer of “God Bless America,” outside their sports arena in South Philadelphia. As the singer of some 3,000 songs, it was discovered that Smith sang and recorded two songs now considered “racist,” one of them, “That’s Why Darkies Were Born,” a hit song from a 1931 Broadway revue that was also sung by Paul Robeson, a black man, and meant (many say) to be a satire on white supremacy.

Kenney was silent during the removal of the Kate Smith statue but the iconoclastic act emboldened the city’s leftist ideologues.  The heat accelerated when a leftist writer wrote on WHYY’s web page:  “Watching the Flyers rid themselves of Kate Smith’s racial baggage in a period of two days places a spotlight firmly on Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney, who promised in 2017 to move the statue of former mayor and police commissioner Frank Rizzo from Paine Plaza, the courtyard in front of the Municipal Services Building. That’s public property. “

Statue destruction in the city would then proceed like the fall of a row of dominoes.

Since its installation in 1998, the Frank Rizzo statue near City Hall has been routinely spray-painted with expletives and anarchy-laced political slogans. Though the statue divided city residents, demands for its removal were routinely dismissed. Further civil dialogue, however, ended when Kenney finally ordered the quick removal of the statue in the dead of night, after BLM leftists splashed it in red paint and attempted to torch it. The city moved the statue to a storage facility where it has been ever since.  (BLM protestors also attempted to topple a statue of Mathias Baldwin, an exemplary citizen who never owned slaves and who did much to educate poor black children but because it was a statue of a white man it was perceived as racist by the rioter iconoclasts.)

One year before the Rizzo statue’s removal Kenney promised to move it to South Philadelphia, Rizzo’s home turf and historically Italian enclave. Kenney changed his mind about moving it there when the leftists who called for the Rizzo statue removal were now calling for the statue of Christopher Columbus in Marconi Plaza in South Philadelphia to be removed.

Not even South Philadelphia was safe from the ever-widening woke pandemic that would eventually put the Columbus statue in a wooden box before its dethronement and transport to a warehouse, despite massive protests from South Philadelphians and others.

Kenney and the woke political machine in City Hall had done it again. They had gotten their way. Yet even this radical gesture, which should have earned Kenney a Che Guevara award from sniveling leftist policymakers, wasn’t enough to placate their lust for further revolutionary action.

Left-wing writers were now taking aim at Kenney for not being radical enough.

One writer for Philadelphia Magazine (a magazine that becomes woker with each issue) stated, ”Kenney has treated racial disparity in a majority Black and brown city like a check-box issue….. He campaigned on a pledge to end stop-and-frisk (and later backpedaled). He vowed to remove the Frank Rizzo statue … eventually (and then was forced to do it sooner than he had planned to). He has declared his intent to take down the Christopher Columbus statue (but only after vigilante South Philly racists left him no other choice).”

In Philadelphia, you are a racist if you want to protect a statue.

Kenney’s MO has always been to copy other leftist progressive mayors. No doubt his decision to remove the Rizzo statue (in the dead of night) was inspired in part by the decision of former Baltimore mayor, Catherine Pugh in 2017 who ordered the removal of four bronze Confederate statues from their pedestals “quietly and quickly” in the dead of night. Today, those Baltimore statues rest in an empty city lot.

With South Philadelphia no longer registering as a safe space for public monuments, soon after the Rizzo statue’s removal, leftists across the U.S. began beheading and removing Christopher Columbus statues, which, during the twentieth century, were erected in communities to celebrate Italian heritage and the immigrant experience.

When word spread in South Philadelphia that Kenney wanted to remove Columbus from the neighborhood’s Marconi Plaza to placate leftists, in response many living in multigenerational brick row homes built by Italian ancestors formed an armed militia to guard the monument.

These were the “racists.”

Kenney condemned the armed individuals ‘protecting’ the Columbus statue, just as he had condemned the vigilantes in Fishtown who surfaced only because the city hadn’t done its job in disallowing the rioters to burn and wreck the city for almost a full week.

Kenney tweeted, “All vigilantism is inappropriate, and these individuals only bring more danger to themselves and the city.”

“Jimmy from the block” then trotted out typical leftist vocabulary: “Like many communities across the country, Philadelphia is in the midst of a much-needed reckoning about the legacy of systemic racism and oppression in this country and around the world.”

‘Systemic racism’ is an empty high operative leftist phrase implying that every facet of American culture is infected with racism, from Our Gang comedies to Aunt Jemima pancake mix. America is contaminated: America stinks.  .

“Part of that reckoning requires reexamining what historical figures deserve to be commemorated in our public spaces. In recent weeks, clashes between individuals who support the statue of Christopher Columbus in Marconi Plaza and those who are distressed by its existence have deteriorated—creating a concerning public safety situation that cannot be allowed to continue. We must find a way forward that allows Philadelphians to celebrate their heritage and culture while respecting the histories and circumstances of others that come from different backgrounds,” the mayor said.

Adding insult to injury, in February 2021 the mayor, by executive order, changed the holiday celebrated on the second Monday of October from Columbus Day to Indigenous Peoples’ Day.

The move upset large numbers of Italian Philadelphians who saw the change not only as an insult against Italians but an attack on Catholicism, since it was Columbus who brought Christianity to America. City Council member Mark Squilla called the name change a “personal affront” to Italian Americans.

A lawsuit was then filed by 50 Italian-American organizations alleging that the Philadelphia mayor’s executive orders regarding the Columbus Day name change discriminated against Italian-Americans “while exalting another ethnic group.”

The suit contends that Mayor Kenney had sowed racial division in the city when he made the name change by choosing which “ethnicities should be credited, supported, and approved and which should be shamed, disdained and canceled.”

The suit suggests that the mayor could have provided Indigenous People with their own holiday.

But a mayor who doesn’t know that he’s actually a racist himself would never be able to wrap his mind around that.

Critical Race Theory Is a “Heresy,” Incompatible With Christianity

Call it “regression to type.” Since tribalism-born prejudice has ever plagued man, it’s no surprise that, with the emphasis on Christian brotherhood waning in the West, race hatred is back in style. It has returned with a vengeance, too, and with pseudo-intellectual approval in the form of “Critical Race Theory” (CRT). It’s a “pernicious” idea that “could easily lead to and justify all manner of oppression and violence,” writes one commentator — and that is in fact a “heresy” that should be condemned by the church.

CRT, which now permeates virtually every aspect of society, acts as an “indictment of the United States as a systemically-racist society, but it is also something worse,” writes Robert Spencer at PJ Media: “an all-encompassing worldview, a guiding life philosophy that purports to explain the world in a staggeringly simple manner.”

To wit: This material fold is plagued by “evil people who are insidiously committing evil deeds, and they are the white people,” Spencer informs. In fact, CRT, which is now in schools far and wide, could be called Hating Whitey 101.

Yet CRT isn’t just misguided; it is in fact “a heresy, and one that directly contradicts a core Christian doctrine,” Spencer states. This doctrine is the truth “that no one is perfect or behaves perfectly all the time, but ‘all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God’ (Romans 3:23),’” he explains.

I’ll add that Galatians 3:28 tells us, “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” And Jesus himself said, “For whosoever shall do the will of my Father, that is in heaven, he is my brother, and sister, and mother.”

Note that the Galatians line does not imply that there aren’t differences among groups, that everyone is the same in a worldly sense. But both lines speak of the brotherhood of man: We are all children of God.

Expanding on his Bible citation, Spencer quotes famed Soviet dissident Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn as saying, “If only it were all so simple! If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?”

“When Solzhenitsyn said this, it was taken for granted as axiomatic all over the West, among Christians and non-Christians alike,” Spencer continues. But now it is being forgotten or rejected with jaw-dropping rapidity.… Now what remains is to separate the white people from other people and destroy them. Then the non-white world can enter into the messianic age of redemption, with evil eradicated from the planet.”

“This is the kind of thinking that has led to genocide in the past,” he concludes.

Is this hyperbole? Well, consider that reflecting CRT thought (and perhaps cashing in on it opportunistically), New York City-based psychoanalyst Dr. Donald Moss penned a recent paper in which he called “whiteness” a “malignant, parasitic like condition” that lacks a “permanent cure.” Of course, he’s just one nut, right?

Except that his paper was published in the Journal of the American Psychoanalytic Association.

Note, too, that as the Federalist pointed out in February when leftists say “‘whiteness, they mean ‘white people.’” Then consider that Stage IV of organization Genocide Watch’s “Ten Stages of Genocide” is “Dehumanization,” which is where “One group denies the humanity of the other group.” Stage VI is where “Extremists drive the groups apart” and “Hate groups broadcast polarizing propaganda.” Sound familiar?

Now we need something else that should be familiar: church opposition. As to this, Spencer summarizes some history. “Back in 1937, in the encyclical letter Mit Brennender Sorge, which was pointedly written in German instead of the customary Latin, Pope Pius XI denounced ‘certain leaders’ pushing a ‘so-called myth of race and blood,’” he writes. “Just after World War II in Europe ended, on June 2, 1945, Pope Pius XII said that National Socialism was ‘arrogant apostasy from Jesus Christ, the denial of His doctrine and of His work of redemption, the cult of violence, the idolatry of race and blood, the overthrow of human liberty and dignity.’”

Moreover, U.S. Consul General A.W. Klieforth related that in a 1937 conversation with Pius XII (then Cardinal Pacelli), the prelate “opposed, unalterably, every compromise with National Socialism.” The cleric had also reportedly said “that it was better to lose young Catholics than to submit to Nazism.”

The truth is that if young Christians are in thrall to an anti-Christian doctrine, you’ve already “lost” them. The only way some of these straying sheep can be found is by telling the Truth, which in our case is that CRT is, as Spencer puts it, “evil and dangerous.”

Apropos to this, Pope Pius XI said plainly in 1931, “No one can be at the same time a sincere Catholic and a true Socialist.” It would be nice to hear Christian leaders today say the same about belief in toxic Critical Race Theory.

Rumble:  Nickelodeon has gone full woke in their latest video aimed at young children featuring a drag queen teaching kids about race-baiting LGBTQ politics.

"Baby blue, pink and white represent transgender people because every letter in LGBTQ plus is equal. And Black and Brown represent the queer and trans people of color."

Children are far from immune to the leftist obsession with melanin, genitalia, and sexual orientation.

Breitbart reports:

“The ‘pride month’ video is not Nickelodeon’s only promotion of transgenderism to children. The previous week, Blue’s Clues & You put out a singalong video, also featuring Nina West, where cartoon animals of eclectic “queer” demographics participate in a pride parade.

The children’s network has also cast its first-ever openly transgender teenage actor in a live-action show, Sasha A. Cohen, who will be featured in Nickelodeon’s the series Danger Force.”

Children are far from immune to the leftist obsession with melanin, genitalia, and sexual orientation. Do not think your children will find solace elsewhere. As reported at Fox, the Cartoon Network is also indoctrinating kids:

“Cartoon Network is celebrating LGBTQIA+ kids and families who radiate joy, inclusivity and authentic self-expression,” a narrator says. At one point, a child who goes by the name of “Jax” explains that they use “he/they pronouns.”

From a Cartoon Network Instagram Post:

The Cartoon Network thanked “amazing partners” Collage and San Diego Pride, who work with young LGBTQI+ children. Here are two tweets from each of the organizations who serve as “partners” to the Cartoon Network:

Singing about the colors in the Pride flag, Nina West serenades young children in part:

Asheville, North Carolina Approves Slavery Reparations

Mostly White North Carolina City Approves Slavery Reparations for Its Black Residents

The city of Asheville, N.C., will now be paying slavery reparations to its black residents after the city council approved the sale of city property to fund it, reports Just The News.

The mostly white community will ultimately spend $200,000 on the planning and community engagement process, and $1.9 million on “initial” reparations.

The funding was approved without debate.

Asheville City Manager Debra Campbell is overseeing the planning and community engagement process. Campbell told the city council she launched a speaker series centered around reparations.

“We truly want to have a better understanding of what has been the policies that either currently exist or have existed in the past that have impacted the lives, particularly of black people in Asheville,” Campbell said. “We want to identify and understand the current disparities in the needs and what we should really be focusing on.”

Just The News notes that “Black workers in Asheville made an annual mean wage of $27,998 between 2012 and 2016. White workers made more than any other racial group in Asheville within the same time, with an annual mean salary of $43,553.”

Related:Chicago Suburb Becomes First U.S. City to Offer Reparations for ‘Historical Racism’—But It’s Already Being Called ‘Anti-Black’

Ashville has a population of approximately 93,350 people, and according to the U.S. Census, 11 percent of the population (approximately 10,270 people) is black. It is not clear what form the reparations will take, but equal single payments to each black resident would come out a mere $185 per person. While it seems unlikely this is the form Asheville’s reparations will take, perhaps the bigger question is: What does the city of Asheville think these reparations will accomplish? Will Asheville’s black residents be exempt from affirmative action after receiving these reparations? If not, what exactly is the point of the reparations? Is it really to help Asheville’s black population, none of whom ever personally experienced slavery in America, or the Asheville City Council, which gets to virtue-signal their wokeness at the cost of $2.1 million?

Federal Reserve Tells Employees Not to Use Terms Like ‘Founding Fathers’

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

Employees of the Federal Reserve received some guidance from the Board of Governors back in April on how to communicate properly both in-house and with the public. As you might expect, it was an adventure in wokeness.

“Try to avoid words and phrases that may be considered offensive, pejorative, or prejudiced (whether consciously or unconsciously), as these can distract your audience from the ideas/information you’re trying to convey,” the guidance explained.

For most rational, sane human beings, it’s “distracting” to have this painfully conscious attempt to rid the language of  perceived “bias.” In fact, it’s downright jarring when you’re forced to try and understand why someone wouldn’t want to communicate as clearly as possible.

Fox News:

The guidance contains a list of “biased terms” to avoid, including “blacklist,” “grandfathered,” and “Founding Fathers.” Employees are instructed to use terms like “denied,” “legacy,” and “Founders” instead.

The Fed also said the terms “whitelisted, “manpower,” “manmade,” and “singular generic pronouns” – such as “he,” she,” “his,” and “hers” – should be replaced with more “bias-free” alternatives like “allowed,” “artificial,” and pronouns such as “they,” “their” and “theirs.”

This is not an attempt to eliminate “bias.” The bias will be there no matter what words are used. It’s silly to imagine otherwise. This is no less than an attempt to eliminate gender distinctions and mutilate the language to make it incomprehensible.

Only then can we be properly instructed in what something really means.

Related: Here’s How We Counter the Woke Revolution

What makes this effort so ridiculous is that advocates of bias-free language are dealing with hundreds of years of usage. It’s become part of the way we communicate. No one can change that by simply issuing “guidance,” or writing a memo or a book, and ordering the change.

King Canute would have had better luck ordering the tide not to come in.

Such speech codes are more frequently found on college campuses, where they have caused controversy, though they have become more common at government entities.

San Diego officials in 2016 had to walk back similar guidance, which instructed city employees not to use the term “Founding Fathers,” before it was scrapped.

We refer to the “Founding Fathers” because it is universally accepted that the group of colonists who gathered in Philadelphia in 1776 and created the United States out of an idea were all male. That’s not to say there weren’t females influencing the proceedings. Abigail Adams would rightly take offense at that. But at the time of America’s founding, women were condemned to a subservient public role.

The fact that it was terribly unfair doesn’t change the history of the time, no matter how woke modern sensibilities might be.

Oftentimes, advocates for eliminating bias from language simply want change for the sake of change. They are the enemies of tradition. All change is not good, just like all traditions are not good. Most people can discern where the truth lies and should be free to continue using language that is universally accepted in order to effectively communicate ideas.

Otherwise, we’re going to become the Tower of Babel on steroids.

Black Mother Explains Why Critical Race Theory Is Racist

Black Mother Reveals Critical Race Theory's Hidden Anti-Black Racism

BY TYLER O'NEIL

On Thursday, black Florida mother Keisha King testified against critical race theory (CRT) as Florida’s Department of Education considered a new rule that would ban CRT from public schools. The rule ultimately passed. King’s testimony went viral on social media, and even Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.), who proposed the ban (which originally did not explicitly condemn CRT), shared a video of her testimony.

“My name is Keisha King, I’m a mom of two, one of whom is in the Duval County Public School system and one in private school thanks to school choice,” the mother, who lives in the Jacksonville area, began.

“Just coming off of May 31, marking the 100 years [after] the Tulsa riots, it is sad that we are even contemplating something like critical race theory, where children will be separated by their skin color and deemed permanently oppressors or oppressed in 2021,” King lamented. “That is not teaching the truth, unless you believe that whites are better than blacks.”

RecommendedCritical Race Theory Has Sparked a Civil War in American Education

“I have personally heard teachers teaching CRT and we have had an assembly shut down because a Duval County Public School system consultant thought it would be a great idea to separate students by race,” she recalled.

“This is unacceptable,” the black mother declared, emphatically.

She went on to counter much of the leftist rhetoric that CRT advocates use to foist this nefarious ideology on children.

“CRT is not ‘racial sensitivity’ or simply teaching unfavorable American history or teaching Jim Crow history. CRT is deeper and more dangerous than that,” she explained. “CRT, in its outworking today, is a teaching that there is a hierarchy in society where white, male, heterosexual, able-bodied people are deemed the oppressor and anyone else outside of that status is oppressed. That’s why we see corporations like Coca-Cola asking their employees to be ‘less white,’ which is ridiculous.”

“Telling my child or any child that they are in a permanent oppressed status in America because they are black is racist and saying that white people are automatically above me, my children, or any child, is racist, as well,” King added. “This is not something that we can stand for in our country.”

She ended her remarks by celebrating America’s history of overcoming its sullied past on the issue.

“Our ancestors — white, black, and others — hung, bled, and died right alongside each other to push America towards that more perfect union,” King declared. “If this continues, we will look back and be responsible for the dismantling of the greatest country in the world by reverting to teaching hate and that race is a determining factor on where your destiny lies.”

RecommendedSchool District: ‘Our Superintendent Is Doing His Job’ By Saying Critical Race Theory ‘Isn’t Optional Anymore’

King is correct. CRT justifies blatant racism in the name of promoting “equity.” One of its architects has even supported racial discrimination to counter historic discrimination and has called for a totalitarian bureaucracy to enforce his vision of “equity.” This new racism masquerades as “anti-racist,” but it judges people according to the color of their skin, not the content of their character.

Marxist thinkers invented critical race theory (CRT) in order to upend society by claiming that hidden racism pervades American institutions. CRT teaches people to seize on any racial disparity as ipso facto proof of racial discrimination, despite the clear prohibitions on racial discrimination in federal law. Advocates claim that the American status quo is racist — if not “white supremacist” — so extreme measures to reverse historic injustices are the only “anti-racist” option.

Since American society must be secretly racist, CRT advocates attribute various aspects of society to the nefarious impact of “whiteness.” The Smithsonian briefly published a “teaching tool” infographic on “whiteness.” That infographic claimed that the nuclear family, science, capitalism, the Judeo-Christian tradition, individualism, “objective, rational linear thinking,” and even values such as “be polite” are aspects of oppressive whiteness. The Smithsonian rightly removed the graphic after facing criticism, but this incident illustrates just how mainstream CRT has become.

CRT has led many to demonize white people based on the color of their skin, assuming these people must be oppressors. Dr. Chanequa Walker-Barnes, an associate professor of practical theology at Mercer University, published a devotional that included a prayer asking God to “please help me to hate white people. Or at least to want to hate them.” Dr. Aruna Khilanani, a psychiatrist, openly discussed her “fantasies of unloading a revolver into the head of any white person that got in my way, burying their body, and wiping my bloody hands as I walked away relatively guiltless with a bounce in my step. Like I did the world a f***ing favor.”

Yet King also highlighted another nefarious aspect of CRT. By teaching that all white people are oppressors and all black people are oppressed, CRT implies that white people have been able to master black people despite the end of slavery and the implementation of civil rights laws. This perversely suggests that whites are stronger and more cunning than their supposed victims. In other words, CRT subtly preaches the very form of racism that Americans have struggled for centuries to reject.

This perverse ideology does not belong in America’s schools.

Virginia mom who survived Maoist China eviscerates school board’s critical race theory push

Mao Survivor Mom Drops TRUTH BOMBS on Critical Race Theory at School Board Meeting:

Xi Van Fleet grew up in Communist China under Mao and witnessed the horrors of the communist revolution first hand. Now she's in the United States raising a family and sees the same trends happening with the implementation of Critical Race Theory in public schools. She dropped some truth bombs all over the Loudon County Virginia School Board.

Xi Van Fleet said Cultural Revolution began when she was 6, pitted students against one another and their teachers

Virginia mom who endured Mao Zedong’s Cultural Revolution before immigrating to the U.S. ripped a Virginia school board at a public meeting Tuesday over its stubborn support of the controversial critical race theory.

"I’ve been very alarmed by what’s going on in our schools," Xi Van Fleet told the Loudoun County School Board members. "You are now teaching, training our children to be social justice warriors and to loathe our country and our history."

She likened CRT, which critics deride as a form of "neo-racism," to China’s Cultural Revolution, a Mao-led purge that left between 500,000 and 20 million people dead from 1966 to 1976. The estimates vary greatly and many details have been shrouded in secrecy for decades.

Van Fleet, whose son graduated from Loudoun High School in 2015, shared some of her experience growing up in China’s Sichuan province with Fox News exclusively Wednesday evening.

VIRGINIA SCHOOL BOARD MEETING EXPLODES AS MEMBERS FACE BACKLASH FOR SUSPENSION OF TANNER CROSS

The Cultural Revolution began when she was 6 years old, she said, and immediately pitted students and teachers and against one another by hanging "Big Posters" in hallways and the cafeteria where students could write criticisms against anyone deemed ideologically impure.

"One of the teachers was considered bourgeoisie because she liked to wear pretty clothes," Van Fleet said. "So the students attacked her and spit on her. She was covered with spit… and pretty soon it became violence."

To me, and to a lot of Chinese, it is heartbreaking that we escaped communism and now we experience communism here.

— Xi Van Fleet

Communist squads would raid homes and destroy any relics of China’s past culture, history, governments or religion, she said.

"Everything that was considered ‘old,’ feudalist, a vase, Buddhas, everything was taken out and smashed," she said.

There were thought crimes, too.

"We were asked to report if we hear anything about someone saying anything showing that there's a lack of complete loyalty to Mao," she said. "There were people reporting their parents, and their parents ended up in jail."

At 26 years old, she said, she finally made it out, traveling to the U.S. – where she immediately found freedoms she had never been able to enjoy before.

"I felt like it’s such a free country, meaning I have free access to all sorts of information – books on both sides of the issues," she said.

In the current political and cultural climate in the U.S., however, she said she felt some of that freedom eroding.

"I can’t really just say what I mean, even though the other side can say whatever," she said. "To me, and to a lot of Chinese, it is heartbreaking that we escaped communism and now we experience communism here."

In her speech to the school board, which officials made her shorten to fit the one-minute limit, she drew direct parallels between what she saw back then in China and what she sees in the United States today.

"The Communist regime used the same critical theory to divide people," she said. "The only difference is they used class instead of race."

I just want Americans to know that their privilege is to be here living in America, that is just the biggest privilege.

— Xi Van Fleet

She said she witnessed students and teachers "turn against each other" during the pogrom and saw schools change their names "to be politically correct."

"We were taught to denounce our heritage, and Red Guards destroyed anything that is not communist…statues, books and anything else," she continued. "We were also encouraged to report on each other, just like the Student Equity Ambassador program and the bias reporting system."

VIRGINIA PARENTS GROUP LAUNCHES PAC TO UNSEAT SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS OVER REOPENING, RACE CONTROVERSIES

"This is indeed the American version of the Chinese Cultural Revolution," she said. "The critical race theory has its roots in cultural Marxism. It should have no place in our school."

Her speech came 246 years after fellow Virginian Patrick Henry declared "Give me liberty or give me death" during the Second Virginia Convention in Richmond, 125 miles to the south of Loudoun.

"I just want Americans to know that their privilege is to be here living in America, that is just the biggest privilege," Van Fleet said over the phone Wednesday. "I do not think a lot of people understand. They are thinking they are doing the right thing, ‘be against racism’ sounds really good. But they are basically breaking the system that is against racism."

One of the teachers was considered bourgeoisie because she liked to wear pretty clothes. So the students attacked her and spit on her.

— Xi Van Fleet

The Loudoun County school board has doubled down on its embrace of left-wing policies, including CRT, in recent months.

Illustrating Van Fleet’s point, a group of Loudoun County parents and teachers were accused of "racketeering" and intimidating conservative parents who raised questions about the radical proposals. Members of the "Anti-Racist Parents of Loudoun County" allegedly compiled a list of outspoken conservatives in their community in order to track, hack and "doxx" them – or even scare them into self-censorship, according to David Gordon, director of the Virginia Project, a Republican PAC.

Earlier this week, a judge ordered the district to reinstate suspended elementary school phys ed teacher Byron "Tanner" Cross after he was punished for speaking his mind during the public comment portion of a hearing on new transgender policies last month.

Cross declared that he wouldn't "affirm that a biological boy can be a girl and vice versa because it's against my religion. It's lying to a child, it's abuse to a child, and it's sinning against our God."

He was speaking out against a district policy proposal that would require teachers and other school staff to address "gender-expansive or transgender students" with their preferred name, pronouns and gender.

Ian Prior, the father of two students attending Loudoun schools, said Van Fleet’s remarks to the school board "should serve as a stark warning" Wednesday.

"I think for a while now, school systems have really put this stuff in the schools right under our very noses, and we just weren’t aware," he said. "When your kids go to school and you let them go through those doors, you’re trusting the school system to do the job that they’re’ supposed to do…And it took a pandemic and all the information that parents could see with this distance learning to understand exactly what was going on."

Critical Race Theory Is Not Compatible With Christianity. Churches Must Say So

Critical Race Theory is as an indictment of the United States as a systemically-racist society, but it is also something worse: an all-encompassing worldview, a guiding life philosophy that purports to explain the world in a staggeringly simple manner. With racism, slavery, imperialism, colonialism, and more, white people have inflicted incalculable harm on the world, and in fact are the source of evil in the world. The Nation of Islam has expressed this with devastating succinctness for decades, using the chillingly direct phrase, “The white man is the devil.” With officials all over the country pushing Critical Race Theory upon us in our schools and workplaces, the Nation of Islam is quickly becoming the de facto official religion of the United States. This makes the question all the more urgent: why haven’t the churches condemned it?

The immediate answer is, of course, that the churches are no longer in the business of condemning heresies; that went out around the time the United States stopped fighting wars in order to win them. But nevertheless, Critical Race Theory is a heresy, and one that directly contradicts a core Christian doctrine. Americans are far less Christian than they used to be, but this is one Christian doctrine that is readily verifiable by mountains of empirical evidence: the idea that no one is perfect or behaves perfectly all the time, but “all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).

The toweringly courageous Soviet dissident Aleksander Solzhenitsyn, a devout Orthodox Christian and an enduring hero of freedom, expressed the same idea in this way: “If only it were all so simple! If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?”

RecommendedThe Totalitarian Threat of Critical Race Theory Rears Its Ugly Head

When Solzhenitsyn said this, it was taken for granted as axiomatic all over the West, among Christians and non-Christians alike. But now it is being forgotten or rejected with jaw-dropping rapidity. The underlying assumption of Critical Race Theory is that there are evil people who are insidiously committing evil deeds, and they are the white people. Racism, or whiteness, is the original sin. This sin manifests itself in all sorts of “systemic” ways, most notably in the alleged police double standard for blacks and whites. In Christian thought, Jesus submitted to death in order to destroy it and enable human beings to enjoy eternal life; now (as Nancy Pelosi recently suggested) George Floyd submitted to racism and police brutality in order to destroy them and enable Americans to enjoy racial justice. Now what remains is to separate the white people from other people and destroy them. Then the non-white world can enter into the messianic age of redemption, with evil eradicated from the planet.

This is the kind of thinking that has led to genocide in the past. Hitler and his National Socialists taught that the Jews were the cause of all the afflictions that Germany and the world at large were suffering, and once they were eradicated, Germany and the world would enter a new age of peace and prosperity. Back in 1937, in the encyclical letter Mit Brennender Sorge, which was pointedly written in German instead of the customary Latin, Pope Pius XI denounced “certain leaders” pushing a “so-called myth of race and blood.” Just after World War II in Europe ended, on June 2, 1945, Pope Pius XII said that National Socialism was “arrogant apostasy from Jesus Christ, the denial of His doctrine and of His work of redemption, the cult of violence, the idolatry of race and blood, the overthrow of human liberty and dignity.”

Pope Pius XII has been accused of not speaking out or acting strongly enough against Nazism. Whatever the merits of these accusations may be, at very least the Roman Catholic Church was on record against “the idolatry of race and blood.” Nowadays, by contrast, Critical Race Theory is being taught in Catholic churches and schools.

RecommendedNancy Pelosi, High Priestess of the Left’s Cult, Gives Thanks to Floyd Her Savior

Why isn’t the Catholic Church standing up for the core Christian doctrine that no particular race, ethnicity, nation, or group of people has a monopoly on evil, while the rest of the world is pure? Why aren’t the other churches? This pernicious theory, which could easily lead to and justify all manner of oppression and violence, has only been able to get traction in a post-Christian U.S., in which large numbers of people are ready to accept the idea that all the problems of the world emanate from one group, which should be eliminated for the good of all the non-evil people.

How many people are going to have to die before the nation awakens to just how evil and dangerous Critical Race Theory really is?

Medical Journal Says “Whiteness” Is a “Parasitic Pathology”

Medical Journal Says “Whiteness” Is a “Parasitic Pathology”

BY VERONIKA KYRYLENKO

SEE: https://thenewamerican.com/im-afraid-youve-got-whiteness-medical-journal-says-whiteness-is-a-parasitic-pathology/

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

The Journal of the American Psychoanalytic Association has officially declared “whiteness” to be a parasitic pathology that has no known cure.

The article, titled “On Having Whiteness,” was written by Dr. Donald Moss, a white man who is a faculty member of both the New York Psychoanalytic Institute and the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis.

Moss defines whiteness as a “condition one first acquires and then one has — a malignant, parasitic-like condition to which ‘white’ people have a particular susceptibility. The condition is foundational, generating characteristic ways of being in one’s body, in one’s mind, and in one’s world.”

“Parasitic Whiteness” writes Moss, “renders its hosts’ appetites voracious, insatiable, and perverse. These deformed appetites particularly target nonwhite peoples. Once established, these appetites are nearly impossible to eliminate.”

Easily impressionable and sensitive Caucasian patients may panic at this point, but Moss offers some treatments for the condition, the most effective of which includes “a combination of psychic and social-historical interventions.” Such interventions “reasonably aim only to reshape Whiteness’s infiltrated appetites — to reduce their intensity, redistribute their aims, and occasionally turn those aims toward the work of reparation.”

Even then, Moss laments that there “is no guarantee against regression” and “there is not yet a permanent cure.”

Since the keywords to the article include “racism,” “envy,” and “aggression,” it may raise concerns over the possibility of recommended hospitalization and medication treatment of those affected by the “disease.”

Last year, Moss went on a speaking tour, giving his presentation “On Having Whiteness,” and was featured at the South African Psychoanalytical Association, the New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute, and the Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies in New York.

As New American wrote at the time:

Probably because he is a white man, Moss believes that his perverse presentation and its overt racism can be forgiven — but it cannot…. Moss is speaking from a position of authority on a subject he clearly doesn’t understand. In calling “whiteness” an affliction, Moss is saying that an entire race suffers from a mental illness which it cannot control. Left “untreated” by his “psychological and social-historical interventions” (whatever they are), Moss apparently believes that Caucasians are incapable of rational, non-racist thoughts and actions.

Moss’s claims were so astounding that some observers speculated that the journal article was fictional and perhaps satirical of anti-white wokeness. But the peer-reviewed study is real, and the former New York University educator appears to have plenty of like-minded “experts” in mental-health circles.

Last October, the American Journal of Community Psychology published an article titled “Interrogating Whiteness in Community Research and Action,” calling for greater awareness, understanding, and “problematizing” of whiteness, as well as interventions to “dismantle whiteness as a system of domination.”

Just last week, it came to light that New York-based psychiatrist and psychoanalyst Aruna Khilanani had lectured at Yale University in April on “the psychopathic problem of the white mind.”

Talking to the students and faculty of Yale’s Child Study Center, Khilanani shared her experience on treating white people: “This is the cost of talking to white people at all. The cost of your own life, as they suck you dry. There are no good apples out there. White people make my blood boil.”

As a result of such interactions, the “doctor” said, “I had fantasies of unloading a revolver into the head of any white person that got in my way, burying their body, and wiping my bloody hands as I walked away relatively guiltless with a bounce in my step.” She likened white patients to a “demented, violent predator.”

When controversy over the lecture surfaced, Yale issued a statement saying that the tone and content of Khilanani’s talk were “antithetical to the values of the school.”

As noted by Douglas Murray in his book The Madness of Crowds, the “whiteness studies” is a discipline now taught at all Ivy League universities in the United States, as well as at universities from England to Australia.

“This offshoot of the critical race theory,” Murray writes, “now sees the University of Wisconsin in Madison providing a course called ‘The Problem of Whiteness,’ while at Melbourne University in Australia academics have pushed for ‘whiteness studies’ to be made a compulsory part of training in completely unconnected fields.”

Oxford University’s Research Encyclopedia defines Critical Whiteness Studies (CWS) as “a growing field of scholarship whose aim is to reveal the invisible structures that produce and reproduce white supremacy and privilege. CWS presumes a certain conception of racism that is connected to white supremacy.”

Needless to say, that academic effort to “scientifically” portray an entire group of people, their attitudes, pitfalls, and moral associations, based on the amount of melanin in their skin and other racial characteristics is a fairly good demonstration of racism. “Problematizing” whiteness means that white people are considered a “problem,” and not on some abstract level, but in practical day-to-day interactions. Historically, such attitudes have resulted in discrimination and violence against those deemed “subhuman.”

Southern Baptist Convention to Debate Critical Race Theory

Southern Baptist Convention to Debate Critical Race Theory

The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), the annual meeting of the nation’s largest Christian denomination after the Roman Catholic Church, will convene next week in Nashville. The convention is expected to address the highly contentious issue of Critical Race Theory (CRT) and how the denomination should view what is actually a branch of Marxist Critical Theory — the belief that American society and all non-communist societies are marred by a class struggle between oppressors and the oppressed.

Many are predicting that the controversy could tear the denomination apart, which is, one could argue, exactly what atheistic Marxists would like to see.

The Southern Baptist Convention is the name both of the denomination and the annual meeting. The SBC was formed in 1845, when the Triennial Convention of Baptists (formed mainly for missionary efforts) divided into a Northern Baptist Convention, and a Southern Baptist Convention. The Northern Baptists eventually renamed themselves the American Baptist Convention and drifted leftward, theologically and politically, while the Southern Baptist Convention thrived during the last part of the 19th century and into the 20th century, at one time growing faster than the population of the United States.

Each congregation within the SBC elects its own officers and makes its own decisions on how to carry out the Great Commission of sharing the gospel message. While each congregation is independent, with no hierarchical structure as is found in many other denominations, SBC churches cooperate within the SBC in mission efforts, both nationally and internationally. In addition, the SBC publishes Sunday School literature, runs six theological seminaries, and conducts relief efforts. Most of the food provided by the Red Cross comes from the Baptist Kitchens ministry.

The annual convention is made up of messengers — not delegates — who elect convention officers, primarily a president, for a one-year term. Along with the Executive Committee and other boards and commissions, the president oversees denominational agencies.

One agency, the Ethics and Religious Liberty Committee, headed until recently by its president, Russell Moore, has been a major source of controversy. Most of this controversy has been generated by Moore, who has used his position to push the denomination into a less conservative stance. When Moore denounced President Donald Trump, for example, many in the media, and even in the general public, have taken Moore’s personal opinions as somehow the opinion of the SBC itself.

Moore’s public airing of his views has led to much division within the denomination. For example, in 2019, Moore spearheaded an effort for the convention to adopt a resolution in favor of CRT. The resolution called CRT “a set of analytical tools that explain how race has and continues to function in society, and intersectionality is the study of how different personal characteristics overlap and inform one’s experience.” The resolution did not denounce CRT, but rather blamed “individuals” who “appropriated” it to promote worldviews that are “contrary to the Christian faith.”

Still, the resolution asserted that CRT was an analytical tool that can “aid in evaluating a variety of human experiences.” While certainly not a blanket endorsement of CRT, the resolution did not reject it for what it is — a derivative of atheistic Marxism.

Mike Stone, pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Blackshear, Georgia, is a leading, if not the leading, candidate for the post of president of the SBC. He is an ardent opponent of interjecting CRT into the Southern Baptist Convention. Stone is a past president of the Executive Committee of the SBC, and once led the Georgia Baptist Convention.

It was no surprise then that Russell Moore not only left his job heading the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission to join the increasingly liberal magazine Christianity Today and took a ministerial position with a non-SBC congregation in Nashville. A letter of his denouncing the Executive Committee’s leadership was somehow “leaked” to the media.

The Executive Committee was scrutinizing the ERLC and Moore’s controversial public stands, and many congregations were protesting his continued tenure by withholding contributions to the Cooperative Program — which funds the various SBC agencies, including ERLC.

In his “leaked” letter, Moore insinuated that many — without naming names — were protecting sexual abusers within churches, and that many SBC leaders were opposed to racial reconciliation. Ronnie Floyd, a former president of the SBC, has said that he has seen the letter to current SBC President J.D. Greear, and although he was present when some of the matters Moore mentions were discussed, “I do not have the same recollection of these occurrences as stated.”

Stone said the letter was a “back-door press release” that “is clearly an attempt to influence the upcoming presidential election in the SBC.” Stone added, “I think Southern Baptists can see this letter for exactly what it is. His letter contains numerous misrepresentations of me and of the leadership of our beloved Convention. More broadly, it illustrates that he holds a markedly different view of the Southern Baptist Convention than the one held by the overwhelming majority of our 14 million members who have generously paid his salary.”

Stone said, “His view is apparently of an SBC filled with ‘white nationalists and white supremacists’ … That is not the SBC that I know.”

Others running for SBC president this year include Southern Baptist Seminary President Al Mohler (a mentor of Moore) and Alabama Pastor Ed Litton.

In addition to Moore, others who have tried to push the SBC to the left include women’s Bible teacher Beth Moore and California mega-church pastor Rick Warren, a member of the globalist Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). Beth Moore left the SBC, parroting the political left’s insistence that there is a huge national problem with “white supremacists.”

In the 1980s, the Southern Baptist Convention endured a decade-long battle over theological liberalism, which ended with total victory by theological conservatives. However, it now appears that, like their fellows in secular politics, those who seek to use the SBC to advance progressive politics have latched onto charges of racism and sexism against anyone who opposes their agenda.

If the Left can split the SBC and turn it into simply another vehicle for the Marxist Critical Race Theory, it would be a huge victory for them, and a tragic defeat for Bible believers in America .

Racist D.C. Mayor: Muriel Bowser

THIRD IN A SERIES

Editor's note: This is the third part in Frontpage Mag's new series on Racist Mayors. (See previous parts below this article). Stay tuned for more installments.

District of Columbia Mayor Muriel Bowser may have more self-control than other Democrat big-city mayors, yet she still manages to push the same racist Black Lives Matter propaganda that gives aid and comfort to rioters and insurrectionists who hate America.

Bowser, architect of some of the strictest pandemic lockdown protocols in the nation –she banned dancing at D.C. weddings— is generally shrewd enough to avoid in-your-face, overtly racist gaffes like Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s announcement that she would only be granting 1-on-1 interviews to black or brown journalists, but the Washington mayor embraces critical race theory and wants to tear down statues of accomplished white people.

That doesn’t mean she always sees eye-to-eye with the radical activists of Black Lives Matter, but Bowser does her best to get their toxic message of social grievance out.

Under her leadership, the “defund the police” message that was added to the words “Black Lives Matter” that she had painted on the street in Black Lives Matter Plaza, the stretch of 16th Street Northwest in sight of the front of the White House that was appropriated by radicals, disappeared two months after activists painted the phrase.

She wrote in an op-ed in the Washington Post that she decided to create Black Lives Matter Plaza when she “came face to face with a line of federal police blocking a street in my legal jurisdiction.”

“Here we were in my hometown, in the capital of the United States of America, with people all around us protesting for change, demanding reforms to the racist and broken systems that killed George Floyd and so many Black Americans before him. But instead of bringing the country together, the federal government was blocking the streets. It was clear the president [i.e. Donald Trump] was doing everything he could to tear us apart.”

While Black Lives Matter and Antifa ran wild in the nation’s capital last year, Bowser did her best to help the looters.

In June 2020, as the District was filled with federal troops and federal law enforcement, Bowser whined that then-President Trump was doing too much to combat race rioters.

The mayor wrote Trump a letter claiming that the deployed units were "inflaming" and "adding to the grievances" of the people sacking pricey Georgetown shops to protest the non-police-involved death of career criminal George Floyd.

"The protestors have been peaceful, and last night, the Metropolitan Police Department did not make a single arrest. Therefore, I am requesting that you withdraw all extraordinary law enforcement and military presence from Washington, DC," the mayor wrote.

She complained that "unidentified federal personnel patrolling the streets of Washington, DC post both safety and national security risks." Switching into black helicopter mode, Bowser claimed the "additional, unidentified units" were operating "outside of established chains of command" and adding to the confusion by not displaying "identifying insignia."

In response to the rioting over the death of St. George of Minneapolis, Bowser appointed a woke committee last year to recommend statues of dead white males to tear down and public spaces to be defaced or renamed.

The committee was tasked with “evaluating named DC Government-owned facilities and making recommendations as to what, if any, actions need to be taken if the namesake is inconsistent with DC values and in some way encouraged the oppression of African Americans and other communities of color or contributed to our long history of systemic racism.”

Committee co-chairs, Beverly Perry, a senior advisor to the mayor, and Richard Reyes-Gavilan, executive director of the District’s public library system, said their “decision-making prism focused on key disqualifying histories, including participation in slavery, systemic racism, mistreatment of, or actions that suppressed equality for, persons of color, women and LGBTQ communities and violation of the DC Human Right[s] Act.”

The library system, by the way, honored communist Angela Y. Davis, calling her “an outspoken advocate for the oppressed and exploited,” which shouldn’t be all that surprising to anyone who has spent time in D.C.

Among the statues and memorials the committee wanted removed were those named after George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Christopher Columbus, Benjamin Franklin, Andrew Jackson, James Monroe, Francis Scott Key, and William Henry Harrison.

Unlike many of her colleagues, Bowser does not support defunding the police.

Last year the D.C. Council passed a budget-slashing $15 million from the Metropolitan Police Department over her objections.

“This reduction would result in a level of sworn officers that has not been seen in DC since the 1990s, with seemingly no analysis on the impact this cut would have on the deployment of officers, officer response times to calls for service, and on community and neighborhood safety," Bowser wrote in a letter to the council. "Fewer officers would protect a District population that has increased by more than 17 percent, and where calls for police service have increased by 21 percent in the last decade alone. These reductions will be felt across all eight wards."

But she’s fine with filling cops’ minds with racist drivel.

In 2018, Bowser forced members of the Metropolitan Police Department to be indoctrinated with critical race theory as part of a training program. “We are committed to accountability to strengthen the bonds of trust between MPD and our residents,” she said in unveiling the woke brainwashing.

Maybe this explains why this writer saw a parked police car in D.C. that had what appeared to be a rolled-up white tee shirt on the dashboard with the word “WOKE” in large letters.

In February of this year, Bowser announced she would create the city’s first Office of Racial Equity.

“As we continue our recovery into 2021, we have a unique opportunity to double down on our efforts to put racial equity at the forefront and revitalize systems to ensure a more inclusive and prosperous future for all Washingtonians,” said Bowser. “We know that when more Washingtonians are given a fair shot, we are a stronger and more resilient city.”

The new office “will focus on developing an infrastructure to ensure policy decisions and District programs are evaluated through an equity lens and will be housed in the Office of the City Administrator,” according to a District press release.

“Only by building systems that are intentional in their design to account for our city’s legacy of racism and discrimination and are targeted to expand access will every District resident truly have the same opportunities to prosper in our society,” said Councilmember Kenyan McDuffie who introduced legislation creating the office.

Of course every single mayor of Washington, D.C., since the post became popularly elected in 1974 has been a Democrat, so if the District has a legacy of racism and discrimination those 7 left-wing mayors may have had something to do with it.

And in her mind, Muriel Bowser is paying it forward.

Social Media Blitz Exposes Campus Racism Triggered by Critical Race Theory

Rooting out the new racism espoused by the radical Left.

A cutting-edge social media campaign conducted in April and May by the David Horowitz Freedom Center targeted and exposed the racist and segregationist actions and programming of prestigious colleges and universities taken under the guise of “anti-racism” and Critical Race Theory. Ten prestigious institutions of higher education including Harvard University, the University of Southern California, Georgetown University, and the University of Minnesota were outed for their racist leanings and decisions.

The universities targeted by the Freedom Center’s campaign were included among the “Most Racist” for varied reasons, but the unifying theme was their allegiance to the new philosophy of Critical Race Theory (CRT), a radical revision of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s dream that each American be judged “not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” While Dr. King and the leaders of the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s promoted “colorblindness,” CRT pushes the opposite view, that our character and our place in society is predetermined by our skin color.

As Manhattan Institute senior fellow Christopher Rufo explained recently in an interview with The Atlantic, “Critical race theorists believe that American institutions, such as the Constitution and legal system, preach freedom and equality, but are mere ‘camouflages’ for naked racial domination. They believe that racism is a constant, universal condition: it simply becomes more subtle, sophisticated, and insidious over the course of history. In simple terms, critical race theory reformulates the old Marxist dichotomy of oppressor and oppressed, replacing the class categories of bourgeoisie and proletariat with the identity categories of White and Black. But the basic conclusions are the same: in order to liberate man, society must be fundamentally transformed through moral, economic, and political revolution.”

Guided by this ahistorical revolutionary subtext, America’s colleges and universities have increasingly promoted racially segregated classes and “anti-racist” training programs which actually endorse racist tropes and promote racial conflict.  To combat this return to Jim Crow, the Freedom Center published a report and created a new website, TopTenRacistUniversities.org, exposing the Top Ten Most Racist Colleges and Universities in America. The social media campaign served to highlight this report and its conclusions and bring them to a wider audience.

Harvard University, #1 on the Freedom Center’s list of most racist universities, was sued for blatant discrimination against Asian applicants in spite of their superior academic achievements, made possible by characterizing their personalities as “lacking” and “one dimensional.”

Smith College, #2 on the Freedom Center’s list, delivered an elaborate apology to a black student who alleged racism at the hands of Smith employees. Even after the student’s narrative was proven by an independent investigation to be both malicious and false, Smith used it as an opportunity to force its white, working-class employees to undergo mandatory “anti-racism” training and attend “White accountability” sessions. The lying student received no punishment.

The University of Southern California, #3 on the list, suspended a linguistics professor from teaching a class after he used an example of a Chinese phrase that phonetically resembles the N-word.

Georgetown University, #4 on the list, immediately fired one professor and disciplined another because they dared to discuss and lament the poor academic performance of African-American law students—an actual anti-racist sentiment.

The University of Pittsburgh made the list at #5 for forcing all incoming freshmen to take a mandatory class in “Anti-Black Racism” which teaches that “color blindness” and “the myth of meritocracy” amount to microaggressions.

The University of Central Florida clocked in at #6 for conducting a witch-hunt and firing a tenured professor after he made posts on social media questioning the existence of “systemic racism” and mocking the concept of “white privilege.”

The University of Minnesota was named to the list at #7 for conducting an online class titled “Recovery from White Conditioning” which presented a “12-step program” to make white students aware of their innate “white supremacy.”

Cornell University made the list at #8 for offering a throwback to the Jim Crow-era—a racially segregated physical education class titled “BIPOC Rock Climbing” which barred white students from entry.

Elon University earned the #9 spot on the list for urging “white-identifying” students to join a weekly “White Caucus” Zoom meeting. “White caucuses allow white-identfying [sic] allies to have these conversations in a way that does not burden or re-traumatize people of color,” an email from the university explained.

Finally, Brandeis University earned the #10 spot on the list for racially segregating students in discussions about racism. Brandeis officials attempted to justify this segregation by claiming it was an issue of safety not to allow whites and blacks to converse about racial issues until the white students have been sufficiently shamed for their innate racism.

Using eye-catching graphics and memes, the Freedom Center’s social media campaign was able to place direct evidence of these racist outrages directly into the Facebook and Instagram feeds of students, alumni, and fellow educators from each university. Reaction was swift and condemnatory.

“As a graduate of this school, I find this very disturbing,” one Elon alum commented on the social media postings targeting his alma mater. “I need more information regarding this unacceptable issue before making contribution decisions.”  His comment was “liked” by 24 others.

“This is why I will not send them a penny,” declared a Brandeis alum from the class of 1971.

“They should never [have] fired that professor,” an alum of the University of Central Florida commented on the Freedom Center’s report. “UCF has turned into a garbage pit that continues to embarrass me.”

“I’ve been ashamed of Pitt since the Buckley incidents,” an alum of the University of Pittsburgh commented. “I stopped contributing long ago and this incident confirms I made the right decision. Sad.”

“I taught Legal Research and Writing at Georgetown in ’90 and I can tell you I struggled with minority students who could barely write sentences, let alone a legal brief,” commented a former instructor in defense of the Georgetown professor who was fired for commenting on the poor performance of African-American students. “I wanted to fail a couple of students but that is ‘just not done’ for the most part at Georgetown University Law Center. The racist accusation is crazy. If anything is crazy, it’s letting in unqualified students to meet a quota.”

During the six-week social media campaign, the Freedom Center’s ads exposing racist colleges and universities reached over 377,000 individuals across all 10 targeted campuses and garnered over 1.3 million total impressions, 20,000 clicks to view the full report on the TopTenRacistUniversities.org website, and 400,000 viewings of the accompanying videos hosted on YouTube. This is an incredible reach for a campaign of this size and scope and successfully exposed the radical manifestations of Critical Race Theory in our universities to large numbers of current students and alumni. A follow-up campaign encouraged alumni to sign letters protesting these outrages to the president or chancellor of each university and remains live on the campaign website.

“Diversity Training programs are not about racial sensitivity,” explained Freedom Center founder David Horowitz. “They are about the demonization of white people and the constitutional order of individual freedom, equality and accountability the American Founders created. These campuses are openly promoting racism in the name of ‘social justice.’”

Kristi Noem Vows to Fight Hateful Critical Race Theory

The 1776 Pledge to Save Our Schools takes aim at the destructive ideology.

In May, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem became the first candidate nationwide to promise to combat action civics and the un-American ideology of critical race theory by signing the 1776 Pledge to Save Our Schools, a pledge drafted by a new patriotic education nonprofit.

“Teaching our children & grandchildren to hate their own country & pitting them against one another on the basis of race or sex is shameful & must be stopped. I’m proud to be the 1st candidate in America to sign ‘The 1776 Pledge to Save Our Schools,’” Noem wrote on Twitter.

Noem’s embrace of the pro-American education pledge came as state lawmakers nationwide consider legislation banning the teaching of critical race theory (CRT), which maintains, like the New York Times’ ahistorical 1619 Project, that America is an inherently racist nation.

It also came as Democrats promote the proposed “Civics Secures Democracy Act” in Congress, which involves handing out $1 billion per year in federal grants over six years for K–12 curriculum development, teacher training, and research on the teaching of history and civics. Some of the money will go toward action civics and promoting critical race theory.

“Many establishment Republicans are slowly awakening to this being an issue that people care about, said Russ Vought, who ran the Office of Management and Budget in the Trump administration and is now president of the Center for Renewing America, which focuses on anti-CRT efforts at the grassroots and state level.

“And I would say that the grassroots cares about this and election integrity more than any other issue right now. So, if you’re a Republican, and you are not doing something to combat critical race theory, you have no idea where your people are.”

Another group, 1776 Unites, which has the support of an array of black conservatives and liberals, scholars, writers, educators, activists, journalists, and entrepreneurs, was created earlier this year, as FrontPage reported in March. The group is a project of the Woodson Center, a community transformation and empowerment organization founded in 1981 by Robert L. Woodson Sr.

The group “maintains a special focus on voices in the black community who celebrate black excellence, reject victimhood culture, and showcase the millions of black Americans who have prospered by embracing the founding ideals of America,” according to its website.

Noem, a Republican, elaborated on her tweet in an op-ed with former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson.

“A great nation cannot survive if its citizens are taught to hold their own country in contempt. Our Founders knew that people are not perfect – that is why they created an ingenious constitutional system of checks and balances. But that system also requires strong civic engagement by citizens who understand and defend the values and traditions that make America special,” Noem and Carson wrote.

“Critical race theory is a deliberate means to sow division and cripple our nation from within – one brainwashed and resentful student at a time. And while foreign adversaries like China and Russia surely work to inflame our divisions, we are doing this to ourselves.

Whether or not we can defeat this ascendant anti-Americanism is perhaps the most important cultural challenge of our lifetime, and fortunately, a growing number of courageous parents, grandparents and teachers understand the stakes and have begun to speak out and push back.”

“By focusing on this issue, we have the opportunity to create an entirely new, diverse coalition of voters for these values – one built upon a genuine love for our nation and our children,” they wrote.

“Critics often deride our push for truthful, patriotic education by claiming that we don’t want to have ‘difficult conversations’ about troubling aspects of our history. They’re wrong. Our children and grandchildren should understand the full picture – our fundamental values, our greatest achievements, and the long struggles to overcome injustice as well.”

“In doing so, they will learn the story of a brave and vibrant people. They will learn the stories of amazing men and women of every color and background who, for almost 250 years, have together fought, argued and strived to build a more perfect union,” they wrote.

For those not up-to-speed on the latest leftist euphemisms, action civics refers to K–12 students being made to protest and lobby for political causes for course credit.

Critical race theory spreads a false and hateful narrative about American history that exacerbates racial tensions, conservatives say.

CRT supporters denounce American culture and history as “Eurocentrism” and “whiteness.” It is “a variation of critical theory applied to the American context that stresses racial divisions and sees society in terms of minority racial groups oppressed by the white majority,” according to the 1776 Commission’s report.

“Equally significant to its intellectual content is the role Critical Race Theory plays in promoting fundamental social transformation,” the report states, “to impart an oppressor-victim narrative upon generations of Americans. This work of cultural revolution has been going on for decades, and its first political reverberations can be seen in 1960s America.”

The 1776 Commission was at odds with the anti-American ideology of Joe Biden, now our illegitimate, placeholder president, so of course he disbanded it hours after he was installed banana republic-style, surrounded by thousands of soldiers.

In Executive Order 13985, Biden rescinded legitimate President Donald Trump’s Executive Order 13950, which banned critical race theory in federal training, along with Trump’s Executive Order 13958, which created the 1776 Commission that sought to move U.S. education away from a radical curriculum that unduly emphasized race-related injustices of the past.

The pledge Noem signed is promoted by 1776 Action, a new 501(c)(4) nonprofit founded by Adam Waldeck, former aide to former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich. Gingrich and Carson support the group.

The anti-CRT movement has made a lot of inroads in Virginia.

Glenn Youngkin, Pete Snyder, Sergio de la Peña, Amanda Chase, Peter Doran, and Kirk Cox, candidates for the Republican Party nomination for governor of Virginia in May, also signed the pledge. Youngkin, who won the race, told Fox News before his victory: “As governor, I will not allow the political agenda of critical race theory to be taught in our schools. We will replace it with a high-quality civics curriculum.”

Loudoun County, Virginia, has become “ground zero” in the fight against critical race theory-based indoctrination in schools nationwide, according to Ian Prior, executive director of Fight for Schools, a Virginia political action committee.

CRT must be obliterated because it “seeks to view everything through the lens of race and believes all institutions, traditions, language, and history of this country are systemically racist,” he said.

In May, Fight for Schools launched a petition drive to remove 6 radical, pro-CRT members of the 9-member school district board—Denise Corbo, Beth Barts, Brenda Sheridan, Atoosa Reaser, Ian Serotkin, and Leslee King, all of whom are Democrats, The Epoch Times reported.

The 1776 Action pledge itself consists of a statement signed by the candidate promising constituents that he or she “will take concrete steps” to fix K-12 public schools.

The candidate pledges to “restore honest, patriotic education that cultivates in our children a profound love for our country,” and to “promote a curriculum that teaches that all children are created equal, have equal moral value under God, our Constitution, and the law, and are members of a national community united by our founding principles.”

The candidate also commits to “prohibit[ing] any curriculum that pits students against one another on the basis of race or sex,” and to “prevent[ing] schools from politicizing education by prohibiting any curriculum that requires students to protest and lobby during or after school.”

Among 1776 Action’s objectives are “supporting candidates for school boards, state boards of education, and other relevant offices who believe in teaching our children to love America,” and “defeating local and state education officials who indoctrinate our children with the false and divisive lies of the radical Left.”

The group also uses targeted messaging campaigns to pressure colleges and universities “to stop the anti-American propaganda,” and promote “pro-American alternatives to the radical version” of American history taught in so much of the country.

“1776 Action is an issue advocacy organization focused on stopping the anti-American indoctrination happening in our schools,” the group said. “Our goal is to make this a central voting issue in state and local elections where decisions over education are primarily made.”

“We’re doing that through ongoing ad campaigns, as well as the release of The 1776 Pledge to Save Our Schools to help parents evaluate relevant candidates and officials.”

“In classrooms across the country, the far Left is successfully indoctrinating children with anti-American lies and divisive theories that pit them against one another based on race and gender,” Waldeck told this writer.

“We don’t have decades to waste trying to persuade them that they are misguided, and so 1776 Action was founded to defeat them politically, culturally, institutionally and financially.”
