WHISTLEBLOWER: Hundreds of Disney Employees Have Been Busted for Sex Crimes Against Children

A Walt Disney Company whistleblower made a bombshell claim on Monday when she revealed that hundreds of employees have been arrested for child sex crimes throughout the years, and the company has done everything possible to sweep that under the rug to protect its brand.

Last month, three Disney employees were caught up in a child sex trafficking sting.

The whistleblower, who went by the name Kathy, made her claim on Newsmax’s The Benny Show with host Benny Johnson. She explained that the company never internally addresses “things that are unpleasant” and employees are instructed not to bring up issues that could jeopardize Disney’s world-famous brand.

Disney has, however, felt that embracing transgender ideology and opposing Florida’s Parental Rights in Education bill are somehow on brand. Recent polling shows that over 60% of U.S. voters support the bill’s language.

Johnson asked Kathy if Disney ever internally addressed the “very severe and horrifying record” of Disney employees being charged for sex crimes against children. She emphatically said, “No.”

“We don’t talk about things that are unpleasant,” she added. She also explained that Disney employees are “constantly” monitored. While it would be nearly impossible for an employee to do anything to a child while on the clock, the real issue is what they do on their personal time.

“We are watched constantly. We have cameras everywhere on us. You can’t walk away with a child. So that would be pretty much an impossibility. But what people do on their off time. That’s kind of scary… And it’s not discussed.” One employee caught in the sting last month was a 27-year-old lifeguard at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort named Xavier Jackson.

“I would bet dollars to donuts that the leadership team never even spoke to the rest of the team about why [Jackson] is no longer with the company.”

The whistleblower also lamented the way the company has embraced a woke agenda.

“I don’t see it getting any better…The agenda has to be pushed…I don’t think it’s going to make a huge difference in their business,” Kathy said. “The middle-class American family is not what Disney is after anymore.”

Earlier this month, a recording of a company-wide zoom meeting was leaked, and it showed Karen Burke, the president of Disney’s General Entertainment Content, saying Disney has “many, many, many LGBTQIA characters in our stories.” The leaked recording also showed executive producer Latoya Raveneau stating that her team has implemented a “not-at-all-secret gay agenda” and is regularly “adding queerness” to children’s programming.

The company has also committed to fighting Florida’s new Parental Rights in Education law.

(Natural News) Virginie de Araujo-Rechhia, a French lawyer on Reiner Fuellmich’s Grand Jury team, has reportedly been arrested at her home and taken into custody.

On Mar. 22, 2022, de Araujo-Rechhia was picked up by police amid her work with three different citizens’ associations in France that are trying to bring criminal charges against politicians who voted for an Aug. 5, 2021, law that brought in a wave of repressive Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) restrictions.

The full circumstances surrounding de Araujo-Rechhia’s arrest remain unknown. Most of the news outlets reporting on it say that her current whereabouts are unknown.

“We don’t fully know the circumstances under which such a measure was decided and what she is being charged with,” one report explained. “We have been trying since this morning to determine where she has been taken.”

“All our efforts in this regard have so far been in vain. Thanks for circulating this message, without changing a single word. We’ll keep you informed as soon as possible.”

Governments conspire with the media to spread “panic propaganda 24/7,” Fuellmich says

In case you missed it, Fuellmich assembled a coalition of lawyers and judges to prosecute the crimes against humanity that were committed in the name of “public health.”

Dubbed the Peoples’ Court of Public Opinion, this coalition recently gathered in Germany, where Fuellmich is from, to compile all of the details about what corrupt leaders have done under the directive of the World Economic Forum (WEF).

“This case, involving the most heinous crimes against humanity committed under the guise of a corona pandemic, looks complicated only at first glance,” Fuellmich said in his opening statement.

“One, there is no corona pandemic, but only a PCR test ‘plandemic’ fueled by an elaborate psychological operation designed to create a constant state of panic among the world’s population. This agenda has been long-planned.”

One of the people who joined Fuellmich was de Araujo-Rechhia, who is now apparently being targeted by the state, potentially in retaliation for her work on the project.

In France, conditions degraded quickly under the authoritarian leadership of Emmanuel Macron, who imposed harsh restrictions on the French people, including Fauci Flu “vaccine passports.”

There were massive protests against Macron’s fascism, but ultimately France was still plunged into a tyrannical nightmare under his directives.

A similar situation occurred in Germany, Fuellmich’s homeland, where leaders similarly imposed harsh measures aimed at stopping society from living any kind of normal life.

“[Covid’s] ultimately unsuccessful precursor was the swine flu some 12 years ago, and it was cooked up by a group of super-rich psychopathic and sociopathic people who hate and fear people at the same time, have no empathy, and are driven by the desire to gain full control over all of us, the people of the world,” Fuellmich says about how this was all tried before.

According to Fuellmich, governments work together with the corporate-controlled media to spread “panic propaganda 24/7.” This is what he, de Araujo-Rechhia and others involved with the fight are trying to stop.

Idaho gubernatorial candidate Ammon Bundy arrested at St. Luke's Meridian

Ammon Bundy, independent candidate for Idaho governor and a leader of the “People’s Rights” movement, faces a misdemeanor trespassing charge in Meridian. Ada County Jail records show Bundy, 46, was booked into jail at 1:15 a.m. Saturday, then released. Meridian Police had arrested him on suspicion of “first offense trespass – failure to depart.” A statement from Bundy's campaign, posted on Twitter, says he was arrested in front of St. Luke’s Meridian Medical Center “for the crime of disagreeing with the hospital and CPS.” According to the statement, Bundy had arrived at the hospital in support of a family whose baby had been “medically kidnapped” due to a missed non-emergency doctor’s appointment. The Meridian Police Dept. said in a news release issued later Saturday morning that police on Friday received an Idaho Health and Welfare referral about a ten-month-old child who had been admitted to the hospital on March 1 "after medical personnel determined the child was suffering from severe malnourishment." The child was discharged into the care of its parents on March 4, after the child was able to gain enough weight. However, during a follow-up appointment, Meridian Police said, it was determined that the child had again lost a significant amount of weight, but the parents canceled the next follow-up appointment and could not be located. Meridian Police had been advised that the child's condition could lead to severe injury or even death if left untreated. Meridian Police said Health and Welfare was able to contact the child’s father, who agreed to bring the child in for an examination, but then failed to show up. When officers attempted to contact the parents and check on the child at a home in Meridian, the people inside refused to let officers check on the child's welfare. Meridian Police received a warrant to enter the home but discovered the parents and the child had left before officers could check on the child. Garden City Police located a vehicle driven by the father of the child and conducted a traffic stop on Chinden Boulevard. That's when Meridian Police took the child into custody, then took the child to St. Luke's Meridian. According to Meridian Police, Bundy "and several of his followers" showed up to St. Luke’s Meridian and refused to leave the property when asked to do so. In addition to Bundy, officers also arrested Wendy Kay Whitaker, 69, Miranda Chavoya, 23, and Marissa Anderson, 21. Police accuse Whitaker of attempting to interfere in Bundy's arrest and also refusing to leave St. Luke's property. Chavoya and Anderson were arrested on suspicion of resisting or obstructing at the scene of the traffic stop in Garden City. All of those arrested are out of jail at this time. Saturday’s arrest may have been the first time Bundy was accused of trespassing at St. Luke’s, but it was not the first time Bundy has been arrested for trespassing. Court records show a jury trial is set to begin Monday, March 14, for a case in which Bundy is charged with two counts of trespassing -- second offense -- following an arrest on April 8, 2021, at the Idaho State Capitol. He was found guilty of a first misdemeanor trespassing offense and sentenced to 40 hours of community service for refusing to leave an auditorium at the capitol during the August 2020 special session. In July 2021, Bundy kicked off a campaign for governor of Idaho. At the time, he was pursuing the Republican nomination. However, he announced in February that he would instead run as an independent. As an independent, Bundy will not be subject to the upcoming May primary election. He is on the Idaho Secretary of State's unofficial list of candidates who have filed to run for office this year.

This is one of the most insightful political interviews you will hear. During a visit to the U.S. last summer, Pastor Artur Pawlowski (left) described to Arthur Schaper of MassResistance what is happening in Canada – and to him. Pastor Artur Pawlowski is not your run-of-the-mill Canadian. He was born and raised in communist Poland and immigrated to Canada as a young man. For many years he has been the pastor of a church in Calgary, Alberta. He is known as an uncompromising Christian who feeds the poor and defends the God-given rights of the Canadian people. He has attracted the ire of the Canadian authorities for his ongoing exposé of totalitarianism as poison to the soul.

Pastor Artur first met up with MassResistance in 2018. In June that year, MassResistance was on the scene to document Pastor Artur joined local activists and MassResistance fiery speech outside of the Calgary Police Station where local activists had come to support pro-family activist Bill Whatcott (who was being taken into custody on the Orwellian charge of “anti-LGBT hate speech”). Later that year Pastor Artur hosted our Canada MassResistance chapter at a conference in his church. Since then, he worked with us to stop a ban on “reparative therapy” in Calgary and similar issues across Canada.

Pastor Art gained international notoriety in 2021 when a video of him throwing a group of police out of his church went viral. They had come to halt a Passover service over clearly unconstitutional Covid rules. He also continued to feed the poor and homeless in violation of the Covid mandate. He was later arrested, imprisoned, and fined for keeping his church open and continuing to feed and minister to the poor through his street church. When released, the judge ordered Pastor Artur to include the government’s Covid narrative in his future church sermons! That totalitarian order was later thrown out after widespread outrage.

The latest international outrage

Pastor Art’s persecution by the government has continued. The latest outrage came in early February. He delivered a forceful speech and held a church service for the truckers who were protesting vaccine mandates and Covid restrictions with a blockade at the Coutts, Alberta border. In his speech, he told the truckers to “hold the line” and continue peacefully protesting.

The following day, police raided his home and arrested him. He was charged with “interfering with critical infrastructure” and “aiding and abetting mischief” under the Critical Infrastructure Defence Act.

According to reports, he’s the only person ever arrested under that act! Rebel News noted on Feb. 28:

[T]hree additional charges stemming from incidents over the previous two years were piled onto the existing, and now nearly innumerable, charges that Artur is facing in what is quite possibly the most glaring legal witch hunt in Canadian History… Sadly, the courts are being wielded as political weapons instead of doing their jobs, which is to uphold the laws of the land, first and foremost being the Criminal Code of Canada and the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

Here in the US, American Spectator observed:

Like a verdict from a Soviet show trial, the judge asserted out of thin air that Pawlowski’s blameless exercise of free speech “contributed to enormous economic harm to the local, provincial and national economy and substantial community harm to ordinary Canadians.”

Pastor Artur has been denied bail and held in solitary confinement since then at the Calgary Remand Centre, a holding prison for dangerous and violent criminals. (Largely ignored by Canada’s mainstream media, this incident was reported Canada’s alternative Rebel News.) And making matters worse, on March 2 his brother Dawid Pawlowski was arrested for charges that are yet unclear!

U.S. Senator makes statement

This has shocked and outraged many people in the United States who fear that the Canadian government’s extremist approach to dissenters and Christians could come here. On Feb. 27, U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) was asked for his reaction to Pastor Pawlowski’s arrest. He said,

The United States keeps a designation of nations that are religious liberty violators. I've called for Canada to be put on that list. And I think we should consider all of the options that are available for that.

Last June, Pastor Artur visited the U.S. for several weeks to warn Americans of the danger of creeping totalitarianism.   • We are not dealing with officials who respect law and order. We are dealing with gangsters in uniform – like the Nazis and the Communists – who do whatever they want. The tactics they are using now are virtually identical to the tactics used back then [under the Nazis and Soviets].
  • Why are Canadian people so “sheep-like”? The Canadian government has been implementing this repression for a very long time. They have been attacking the minds of the people for decades. The tactics are just like with the Hitler Youth: brainwashing; taking over universities and schools; taking over mainstream media; and the political arena. What they accomplished is to create an apathetic, uninterested, selfish, self-centered generation of people that don’t really know what’s going on. It’s easier to do this in Canada because we have a smaller population with many different ethnicities, and are more naturally divided.
  • When my brother and I were recently imprisoned, the Calgary police were particularly brutal to us. We were put in solitary confinement. We had to sleep on a concrete floor. Every half hour they would wake us up so we couldn’t get sleep. We were often stripped naked and searched. They would mock Christianity. They would steal my belongings and throw them into the garbage in front of me. They threw me against the wall and said they would charge me with assaulting them. When we finally went to court they put chains on our legs.

Pastor Artur Pawlowski is an inspiration to all of us. If more clergymen were as principled, bold, and fearless as he, this would be a much better world.

Trucker convoy arrival in DC: New details

(Natural News) Not only is China-loving Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau a dictator wannabe, but he’s also a self-loathing anti-white racist, as evidenced by details buried in his evoking the Emergencies Act earlier this week to crush the “Freedom Convoy” protest.

According to Summit News:

The Canadian government’s Emergency Measures Regulations: SOR/2022-21 order bans people from taking part “in a public assembly that may reasonably be expected to lead to a breach of the peace.”

However, the law does not apply to “any person in a class of persons whose presence in Canada, as determined by the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration or the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, is in the national interest.”

The ‘exempted class’ includes refugees, immigrants, those seeking asylum, Indians, and others who are “protected temporary residents.”

The vast majority of Canadian citizens are white, however, so these rules do not apply to them: They are still required to check their liberties and freedoms with Trudeau, who has given them his ‘thumbs down.’

That said, some are openly questioning if Trudeau’s order really does just apply to white people.

“Why are members of First Nations, refugees, and temporary residents exempted from the prohibition to ‘participate in a public assembly that may reasonably be expected to lead to a breach of the peace’ as part of the Emergencies Act regulations?” People’s Party of Canada leader Maxime Bernier tweeted.

“It appears as though the Canadian government views native Canadians as second-class citizens who should have fewer rights than foreigners,” Summit News’ Paul Joseph Watson wrote, adding: “How can such brazen discrimination based on skin color and nationality be in any way legal?”

Answer: When Trudeau declares it ‘legal,’ apparently.

The prime minister’s authoritarian ways have come increasingly under fire by Canadian civil liberties groups, clergy, and opposition lawmakers as his government continues its crackdown on “Freedom Convoy” truckers protesting his insane COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

“The rainy streets of Toronto, Canada’s largest city, are eerily quiet, with police cruisers blocking intersections and helicopters circling overhead. This does not feel like the safe and stable country I grew up in,” former Canadian Broadcasting Corporation producer, writer, and podcaster Tara Henley noted in a column for The Daily Mail this week.

“On Monday, the Prime Minister invoked the Emergencies Act, which became law in 1988 and has never been used – and it is not yet clear what he’ll do with these powers,” she continued, adding that Trudeau’s action “has poured gasoline on what was already a raging fire.”

“I fear that Canadians are headed for the sort of volatile, drawn-out, intractable conflict that tears societies apart,” Henley continued, adding a comparison to the U.S.: “The same type of ‘take no prisoners,’ merciless discourse that has transformed America into an endless political battlefield, where opponents can never agree and seemingly nothing is ever resolved.”

She also noted that invoking the Emergencies Act is “widely” known among Canadians as being a “nuclear option” and was last invoked by Trudeau’s father, Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau, in 1970, when it was then known as the War Measures Act.

Noa Mendelsohn Aviv, executive director of the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, does not believe Trudeau has met the standard for invoking the authority.

“We should not be normalizing the use of emergency acts to deal with localized, specific challenges that can be addressed through law,” she told Henley.

The Canadian House of Commons also erupted this week after Trudeau replied to a Jewish member of Parliament by accusing members of the opposition Conservative Party of “standing with people who wave swastikas.”

Conservative MP Melissa Lantsman first quoted Trudeau from a 2015 speech, saying, “If Canadians are going to trust their government, their government needs to trust Canadians,” then questioned why the PM characterized members of the Freedom Convoy as “very often misogynistic, racist, women-haters, science-deniers, the fringe.”

After accusing him of fanning “the flames of an unjustified national emergency,” Lantsman, the first Jewish woman to be elected as a Conservative MP last October, demanded to know — “When did the prime minister lose his way?”

“Conservative Party members can stand with people who wave swastikas, they can stand with people who wave the Confederate flag,” Trudeau said in response. “We will choose to stand with Canadians who deserve to be able to get to their jobs, to be able to get their lives back. These illegal protests need to stop, and they will.”

That led to outrage from other members of Parliament, as Fox News reported:

The other side of the chamber erupted in response, prompting Speaker of the House of Commons Anthony Rota to interrupt in an attempt to restore order. He also admonished all — “including the Right Honourable prime minister” — to avoid “inflammatory” language in the House.

Canada is collapsing into a police state, and the country’s citizens are understandably getting more concerned.

Democracy Dies in Canada: Trudeau Government to Make Some of Their New Authoritarian Measures Permanent

How predictable was this? On Thursday, I wrote an article comparing Trudeau’s Emergencies Act to Adolf Hitler’s Enabling Act that established his dictatorship and pointed out that while Hitler’s Act was supposed to be temporary, when it came up for renewal, his opponents had all been outlawed, imprisoned, or killed, and there was no one left to raise a dissenting voice. Trudeau’s invocation of the Emergencies Act was supposed to be temporary as well, but on Friday, Canadian Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland announced the Trudeau regime’s intention to make some of their new authoritarian powers permanent. This, my friend, is how democracies die.

When the Emergencies Act was first invoked on Feb. 14, Freeland explained that the Freedom Convoy’s bank accounts would be frozen: “As part of invoking the Emergencies Act, we are announcing the following immediate actions: First: we are broadening the scope of Canada’s anti-money laundering and terrorist financing rules so that they cover crowdfunding platforms and the payment service providers they use. These changes cover all forms of transactions, including digital assets such as cryptocurrencies.”

In order to strangle the protests financially, Freeland declared: “As of today, all crowdfunding platforms, and the payment service providers they use, must register with FINTRAC [Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada] and they must report large and suspicious transactions to FINTRAC. This will help mitigate the risk that these platforms receive illicit funds; increase the quality and quantity of intelligence received by FINTRAC; and make more information available to support investigations by law enforcement into these illegal blockades. This is about following the money. This is about stopping the financing of these illegal blockades. We are today serving notice, if your truck is being used in these illegal blockades your corporate accounts will be frozen.”

Freeland said even on Feb. 14 that “the government will also bring forward legislation to provide these authorities to FINTRAC on a permanent basis.” On Friday, she doubled down on this, saying, with the arrogance, semi-coherence, and logorrhea that is common to so many Leftist schoolmarm authoritarians: “Uh, in terms of the financial instruments which our government is using right now to act against these illegal blockades and illegal occupation, uh, we reviewed very, very carefully the tools at the disposal of the federal government, uh, and we used all the tools that we had prior to invocation of the Emergencies Act, and we determined that we needed some additional tools. Now, some of those tools, uh, we will be putting forward, uh, measures to put those tools permanently in place. Uh, the authorities of FINTRAC, I believe, do need to be expanded to cover crowdsourcing platforms, uh, and, uh, payment platform — and their payment providers. Uh, so that’s, that is something that we need to do, and we will do, and that needs to be in place permanently.” What that means is that the Trudeau regime will seek to put its ability to seize dissidents’ bank accounts on a permanent basis. Yes, my friend, once again, that is how democracies die.

Freeland did throw a bone to those who still hope that all this will pass and that Canada will go back to being a free republic. She explained that some of the regime’s new authoritarian measures, even though they were working like a charm, would not be made permanent: “Uh, some of these other tools, uh, like, uh, the sharing of information between law enforcement and financial services, and the requirement of financial services to be reviewing their accounts proactively, and the immunity from prosecution that we have provided to them in doing this, these are extraordinary measures, measures that we absolutely believe are necessary in the current circumstances, that are having an impact, and let me also point out, having a peaceful impact. Uh, and the other aspect of the financial tools that I would point to as being really effective and important is, uh, being clear that insurance on trucks that participate in these illegal occupations and blockades will be suspended. So we didn’t have those tools. Uh, I don’t believe that those tools should be part of the toolbox of a government in ordinary times, but they are necessary in these extraordinary circumstances, and they are having a very clear impact.” How magnanimous! At least, that is, until “extraordinary circumstances,” that is, Trudeau’s opponents getting too influential, arise again.

If the opposition doesn’t mount a full-throated protest against all this and the Trudeau government doesn’t fall next week, we may look back on the invocation of the Emergencies Act as the end of freedom north of the border. It looks as if Chrystia Freeland, for one, would want it that way.

Mounted Police Trample Peaceful Protestors

Canada’s Princess Justin Trudeau skipped the firehoses and went straight to trampling peaceful protestors with horses, including an elderly woman with a walker. Other protestors moved in to help the two people trampled but were pushed back by police officers with batons and wearing riot gear.

Another police officer reportedly beat a trucker with the butt of a rifle.

Police, some armed with semi-automatic rifles, have begun arresting some of the entirely peaceful protesters. Roughly 100 people were arrested on Friday, many of whom had linked their arms and were singing “O Canada,” their national anthem. Some were thrown to the ground and had their hands zip-tied behind them.

Trudeau, who took a knee for Black Lives Matter, invoked the Emergencies Act a few days ago to deal with the convivial Canadians protesting against COVID-19 mandates, stating it would give the police “more tools” to deal with the demonstrators. Apparently, by “tools,” he meant horses with which to trample his own people. Trudeau spoke of the threat of violence from the large group of demonstrators, but there was none until his Stasi showed up.

Trudeau has also threatened to seize the bank accounts of people protesting in Ottawa, the nation’s capital. Cops set up roughly 100 checkpoints to keep people from joining the protestors already there.

FACT-O-RAMA! Canada’s COVID survival rate is 98.9% of KNOWN cases. When you factor unknown cases (people who contract the Bat Soup Flu but don’t report it in any way), the survivability rate only improves.

The Ottawa Freedom Convoy protestors have been more than peaceful, they’ve been playful, setting up bounce houses for the kids and even a hot tub for adults, as well as playing hockey and BBQing.

The police-led violence comes as no surprise. Police around the world have used violence to quell protests from people tired of COVID-related oppression. Australian police were even videotaped choking one young girl and pepper-spraying another.

(Natural News) Canadian authorities under the leadership of left-wing authoritarian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Ontario Premier Doug Ford have made good on their promise to use force to end a trucker protest that seeks an end to a pointless COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

Heavily armed police using armored vehicles and sporting automatic weapons while also deploying snipers — this Freedom Convoy protest has never been violent, by the way — moved in on Monday to clear an international bridge of trucks, drivers and supporters after they had all essentially been labeled ‘terrorists’ and ‘threats to the national economic interest’ by people who locked down their economies for nearly two years.

The Epoch Times has more:

Heavily armed police came to the site, including officers from the Windsor Police Service, Ontario Provincial Police, RCMP, and others. There are also armored vehicles and several police cruisers.

Most trucks and other vehicles were cleared from the blockade early in the day, but [the] standoff with protesters on foot continued.

A line of police officers advanced on the protesters around mid-day, pushing them further away from the site of the blockade.

Police said in the afternoon that it had started ticketing and towing vehicles at the protest site.

“The Windsor Police and its policing partners have commenced enforcement at and near the Ambassador Bridge,” the department noted on social media. ‘We urge all demonstrators to act lawfully and peacefully. Commuters are still being asked to avoid the areas affected by the demonstrations at this time.”

“Trudeau had deployed snipers against a peaceful, unarmed protest. Snipers,” wrote Ezra Levant, publisher of the Canada-based Rebel Media.

“Vehicles blocking the Ambassador Bridge pulling out one by one. Still being cheered on by protesters as dozens of police officers have surrounded them,” CBC News reporter Thomas Daigle noted on Twitter.

Protester Domenico Pelle told The Epoch Times that some demonstrators informed police that while they will leave on Monday after being forced out, if the province refuses to lift the COVID-19 vaccine mandates in a couple of days, they are coming back.

“We’re trying to uphold our Charter of Rights and Freedoms out here,” Pelle, a machinist, said at one protest site.

Of course, the tyranny isn’t just on the Canadian side of the border, as evidenced by tweeted remarks from a former Obama administration Department of Homeland Security official.

“The convoy protest, applauded by right wing media as a ‘freedom protest,’ is an economic and security issue now. The Ambassador Bridge link constitutes 28% of annual trade movement between US and Canada,” tweeted Juliette Kayyem. “Slash the tires, empty gas tanks, arrest the drivers, and move the trucks.”

She then doubled down on her tyranny: “Trust me, I will not run out of ways to make this hurt: cancel their insurance; suspend their drivers’ licenses; prohibit any future regulatory certification for truckers, etc. Have we learned nothing? These things fester when there are no consequences,” Kayyem tweeted.

This week, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the lightweight, unpopular elected leader of a country with a 93% vaccination rate for those over 60 and a total vaccination rate of 84%, announced that he would invoke the Emergencies Act in order to crack down on the Freedom Convoy — a group of protesters opposed to government vaccination mandates for truckers. Trudeau breathily announced that invocation of the law was in fact “reasonable and proportionate.” His public safety minister, Marco Mendicino, said that the actions were required thanks to “intimidation, harassment, and expressions of hate.”

Why the government would need to invoke emergency powers in order to move some trucks remains beyond understanding; after all, the police had just removed trucks from the Ambassador Bridge, reopening that trade artery with the United States. Meanwhile, provinces across Canada have already begun alleviating their COVID-19 restrictions, from vaccine passports to masking. There is no emergency here that would justify use of the Emergencies Act — as even the BBC noted, “It is so far unclear which scenario Mr. Trudeau would rely on to justify the use of the Emergency Act — [the relevant threats have not] been clearly present in Ontario.”

Nonetheless, Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland explained that the government would be extending laws designed to stop terror funding to now encompass crackdowns on political dissent: “Financial service providers will be able to immediately freeze or suspend an account without a court order. In doing so, they will be protected against civil liability for actions taken in good faith.” In plain language, this means that the government of Canada has now empowered banks to freeze accounts who give money to political causes the government doesn’t like.

The move to de-bank disfavored political actors has already been gaining steam — in January 2021, PayPal blocked a Christian crowdfunding site from using its services; the next month, Paypal announced it would work with the Left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center to find users to boot. As one of Paypal’s original creators, David Sacks, wrote, “when your name lands on a No-Buy List created by a consortium of private fintech companies, to whom can you appeal?” In Canada, it’s worse than that: The de-banking has become government sponsored. 

And if Trudeau is able to invoke emergency powers to de-bank his political opponents — people he has labeled racists simply for opposing his vaccine mandates — where, precisely, does this end? What’s to stop powerful political actors from violating liberties on the same pretext?

The answer, of course, is nothing. And perhaps that’s the point: from now on, dissent against Left-wing perspectives may be criminalized. Watch what you say — your bank account is on the line. 

Over the course of the past century, the political Left made a promise: that if they were granted more and more centralized power, they would protect their citizens, particularly during times of emergency. That promise was always a lie, but the pandemic exploded that lie in particularly egregious fashion. This left the Left with two options: to abandon that article of faith, an idea central to their entire worldview; or to persecute heretics. Trudeau, unsurprisingly, has chosen the latter. Emergency powers will be necessary until the people enthusiastically agree that their betters in government ought to rule them.

Marty Gottesfeld, 37, is an American political prisoner. There’s just no other way to describe the self-taught, nonviolent techie/medical freedom activist now locked away in solitary confinement at a secret federal detention facility in Marion, Illinois — after being transferred this month from a different secret center in Terre Haute, Indiana. Both are known as “communications management units” (CMUs) in prison industrial complex bureaucrat-ese.

Or you could just call them un-American penitentiary black holes.

Twice — last June and this week — I’ve asked the federal Bureau of Prisons to explain why Marty is being held in solitary confinement, how long he has been squirreled away, and on what grounds he was transferred. “For privacy, safety, and security reasons,” I was told, “the BOP does not discuss any individual inmate’s conditions of confinement to include housing quarters or reasons for transfer.” This past Sunday marked four full months that Marty has been in solitary and blocked from communicating with loved ones or the media.

I first learned of Marty’s plight — and his heroism — five years ago from his loyal and vigilant wife, Dana, whose words in defense of the dissident action he took that earned him a 10-year federal sentence have never left me:

“It was the right thing to do.”

A quick recap for those who have never heard of, or have forgotten, the “Free Marty G” nightmare. In 2013, a young girl named Justina Pelletier was ripped from her parents’ custody by Boston Children’s Hospital. The teen, who has mitochondrial disease and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, had gone to BCH after coming down with a severe case of the flu. Instead of receiving top-notch care and attention at BCH, however, Justina was medically kidnapped and recklessly re-diagnosed with a psychological condition, “somatoform disorder.”

Justina was dragged from BCH’s neurology department to its infamous psych ward, where she was reprimanded for being unable to move her bowels or walk unassisted in her weakened state. At the Wayside Youth and Family Support Network residential treatment center where she was confined, she and her family recounted to me in my 2018 documentary on the case, she was harassed by a staffer while taking a shower. The physical and mental torture lasted 16 months.

Enter Marty G.

In April 2014, he helped lead a social media army that implemented distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks against Boston Children’s Hospital and the nearby Wayside Youth and Family Support Network residential treatment. Marty had organized a social media army to knock the computer networks of both institutions offline to protest Pelletier’s medical kidnapping. Hackers from the loose-knit collective, Anonymous, allegedly participated in the campaign.

Marty was charged and convicted of cybercrimes and sentenced to 10 years in federal prison. He had already spent more than a year behind bars without bail at the time of his sentencing (including about 80 days in solitary confinement and a stint in the same detention center as Mexico’s notorious drug cartel kingpin “El Chapo”). He has no regrets about stepping up in Pelletier’s defense and continued his whistle-blowing investigative journalism after his imprisonment with Dana’s help — until the feds tried to shut him up and shut him down after reporting on the plight of other CMU inmates.

The last time Dana spoke to Marty was last September. The last time she was able to see him in person was at his sentencing three years ago — yes, years — this month. Last summer, BOP officials had recommended that Marty be removed from the Terre Haute CMU. Instead, he was hauled from one American Gitmo to another.

“We were devastated to find out that the placement of Marty in the CMU will continue,” Dana told me this week. “There was never any good — or even comprehensible — reason to place him in that ultra-restrictive unit that was created in the 9/11 era. The BOP’s decision to continue placing Marty in the CMU shows that the pattern of harassment and retaliation that Marty faced when he began speaking publicly about conditions in BOP facilities continues.”

Dana added that “less than two-tenths of 1% of federal inmates are held in the CMUs. Many of them are members of radical Islamist terror organizations. The BOP has never given a reasonable explanation for why it has chosen to hold Marty, a nonviolent person never previously convicted of a crime, in these specialized prison units. I believe the BOP is continuing to retaliate against Marty for his decision to speak publicly about conditions in BOP facilities, ranging from damp and freezing cells, nonpotable water, to misconduct by a BOP unit manager.”

The Justice Department’s inspector general passed the buck on Marty’s case to the BOP Office of Internal Affairs. Marty’s complaint has fallen into yet another black hole.

A crisis of government malfeasance has hurt the integrity of our elections for well over a decade, and things are only getting worse. Prosecutors, both at the county and federal level, are not prosecuting election crimes.

We now have hard data from Florida that shows serious potential election crimes have been ignored by both county and federal prosecutors in the Sunshine State.

This matters because vote fraud deniers will crow about how rare voter fraud is. If there are few convictions, they will say, then there must not be much fraud.

Whether or not prosecutors are pursuing possible election crimes they know about, however, is the weak link in that logical chain. And for the first time, we have a snapshot of data about failure to pursue election crimes.

This matters because Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has proposed the creation of state authority to investigate and prosecute election crimes.

Let’s examine the data.

In just the 2018 and 2020 federal elections, election officials in just nine large Florida counties made over 150 election crime referrals to county prosecutors. County election officials are probably the best possible origin for an election crime referral. After all, this is their business and they have the experience and know the signs. These election crime referrals were for acts such as voting twice, voting from illegal addresses, and foreigners voting.

Were all of the referrals lead pipe lock crimes? Maybe, maybe not. But you can bet some were.

Of those 156 referrals, guess how many resulted in actual criminal prosecutions?

If you guessed zero, you’d be right. Not one single county prosecutor did anything. No charges. No arrests. No convictions. As far anyone can tell, no nothing.

This is Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Orange, Duval, Pinellas, Polk, St. Lucie, and Alachua. The big boys. In Hillsborough County—Tampa—the Soros-funded county election supervisor said he has a policy never to refer election crimes to prosecutors.

When you don’t prosecute election crimes, you get more election crimes.

For a long time, the Heritage Foundation has been filling a database with election crime convictions and penalties. If there are only a few thousand voter fraud convictions—convictions you can peruse by state here at the Heritage Foundation voter fraud database—vote fraud-deniers like Robert Reich will claim voter fraud isn’t really a problem. Of course, we know all cases of theft aren’t caught, much less reduced to a conviction in court.

Imagine if we learned county prosecutors were failing to prosecute theft cases referred by the police.

The data matter also because Governor Ron DeSantis has proposed a solution to this government malfeasance, at least in Florida.

Establishment media, however, have sprung into action to stymie DeSantis. The Tampa Bay Times, after first rejecting an op-ed from this author describing the non-prosecution data in Safe Harbor, published a piece by vote fraud-denier Daniel Ruth: “What will Florida’s voter fraud agents do with all that free time?”

The Washington Post was even more disingenuous. Reporter Beth Reinhard was aware of all the data from the Safe Harbor report showing non-prosecution of election crimes by county prosecutors in Florida. She ignored the data in her story and instead asked for the IRS 990 forms of the organization that produced the report.

Priorities.

This same malfeasance has affected the United States Justice Department for the last 14 years. More on that in a moment.

Naturally, the vote fraud-deniers will argue that the cases were probably all too flimsy to prosecute, so the data mean nothing.

Go with that. But anyone with common sense knows better.

I’ve heard all the excuses on the inside and out of government.

In my time at the Voting Section at the United States Department of Justice, I encountered a profound hostility among the rank and file to doing anything about voter fraud. Indeed, I appeared on Fox News numerous times calling for the head of the Election Crimes Branch, Richard Pilger, to be fired because of his role in blocking numerous election crime investigations.

To much fanfare, Pilger resigned in a fury right after the November 2020 election, was lionized on MSNBC, and then we found out he really didn’t resign. He just went on an extended coffee break but is back standing in the way of any federal voter fraud investigations.

Since Obama took office, there have essentially been two federal prosecutions of voter fraud, both because Trump-appointed U.S. Attorneys blasted by Pilger’s blocks. Both were for non-citizens voting in Texas and North Carolina.

Fourteen years. Two federal efforts.

It isn’t as if there aren’t other opportunities. For years, the FBI and U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of Florida (Miami) were provided with rock-solid information about people voting in Florida and in other states for the same federal election. Snowbird double voters, you might call them.

Instead of doing anything, federal employees with a duty to enforce the law made excuses for the potential criminals. “It might not be the same person.”  Or, “how do we know they voted for the same federal office?” Or better yet, “What if someone was just impersonating them?”

Indeed, impersonation would be a federal crime also. One way to answer the FBI’s questions is for the FBI to ask them in the field. It doesn’t look like that happened.

When you don’t prosecute election crimes, you get more election crimes.

Some county prosecutors might be forgiven for their failure to enforce the law. It’s likely that nobody in their prosecutor’s office knows what a federal form is or how a voter history file is created or what UOCAVA, NCOA, MOVE, ERIC, or NVRA mean. The election process is complicated, but that’s all the more reason states should have specially trained investigators and prosecutors.

Some county prosecutors might be chicken. They’ve seen how the left browbeats anyone who prosecutes voter fraud. Criminals get turned into heroes for violating election laws. Melowese Richardson—a criminal who admitted she voted for at least five other people for Obama in Cincinnati—was hugged at a rally by Al Sharpton when she was released from jail.

Foreigners voting in Texas are treated like Rosa Parks. It’s an upside-down world.

That’s why something needs to change. If Florida adopts Governor DeSantis’ plan to have the state investigate and prosecute election crimes, they can start with the hundreds of snowbird double voters and other criminals that Florida prosecutors and the FBI have been ignoring for over a decade.
