President Joe Biden recently gave the commencement address to graduates of the United States Military Academy at West Point. In his speech, Biden once again lied about receiving an appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy. Biden claimed he “was one of 10” appointed by Senator Boggs, who he later defeated in his 1972 Senate race.
Biden said, “I’d found out two days earlier they had a quarterback named Roger Staubach and a halfback named Joe Bellino. I said, "I'm not going there.’ I went to Delaware. Not a joke.”
As usual, he invented the story after Bellino graduated prior to Biden starting college and Staubach was a star quarterback who Biden, as a high school wide receiver, would have loved to join as a teammate. As noted by RNC Research, Biden “has repeated this lie many times before and there is still no record of any of it ever happened.”
Yet, this is not surprising because Joe Biden can’t help himself, he is a pathological liar, who is defined as someone who “lies continuously…to manipulate others.”
This definition fits Biden for he is always trying to ingratiate himself in front of whatever group he is addressing. This is why says he “grew up” in the Black church or the Jewish synagogue or was “raised in the Puerto Rican community.”
He has also claimed that he “had a very close relationship with the Greek American community” and had lived in a city where everyone “was either Polish or Italian. I grew up feeling self-conscious. My name didn’t end in an S-K-I or an O.”
It seems Joe Biden had a United Nations upbringing. With such a diverse background, Biden should have been able to achieve world peace. Instead, wars have been raging throughout his term.
Of course, it is all nonsense, and it is part of the pattern that Joe Biden has been displaying his entire political career. In 1988, numerous lies ended his presidential campaign.
He was caught lifting phrases from British Labor Party leader Neil Kinnock, Robert F. Kennedy, President John Kennedy and Vice President Hubert Humphrey. He lied about his academic background and his ranking in law school, where he was caught plagiarizing as a student.
Sadly, this known liar became President and his propensity to lie only intensified with his new position. Recently, his familiar lies include tall tales about driving an “18-wheeler,” meeting with “Angelo” the Amtrak conductor and the imaginary inferno that almost engulfed his house, but was only a “small kitchen fire,” according to the Associated Press.
The House Oversight Committee discovered that Biden lied about not having any knowledge of his son’s business dealings. Their investigation revealed “then-Vice President Biden spoke, dined, and had coffee with Hunter Biden’s foreign business associates.”
Evidently, Biden likes to lie about Pittsburgh. He falsely claimed he visited a synagogue in the city that was targeted in a mass shooting. He also lied about seeing the bridge collapse, yet media reports indicate that he visited Pittsburgh hours after the tragedy occurred.
Frequently, Biden lies about his background and his family. For example, he falsely claimed that he worked as a coal miner. He invented a story about his uncle Ambrose Finnegan, known as “Bosie,” being “shot down in New Guinea” in an area where “there used to be a lot of cannibals.” Yet, according to the Associated Press, “The U.S. government’s record of missing service members does not attribute Finnegan’s death to hostile action or indicate cannibals were any factor.”
Another familiar lie about Joe Biden involves his fictional civil rights record. He claimed he led protests, participated in sit-ins and even got arrested. Yet CNN had to correct Biden’s false narrative, reporting that “There is no evidence Biden ever got arrested during a civil rights protest.”
Biden also lied about getting “arrested” trying to visit Nelson Mandela, while he was imprisoned in South Africa. After media outlets challenged his phony claims, Biden later admitted that he was only “stopped.”
In a recent speech in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Biden stated that he never made “$400,000” per year in salary. This lie was easily refuted by his tax returns, which showed he made “millions” in 2017 and 2018 and over $600,000 in 2021 and 2023.
Biden also embellishes his foreign travels and the supposed dangerous conditions he faced. He has lied about being “shot at” in Iraq, and “forced down” in Afghanistan.
He even lied about the number of times he visited Iraq and Afghanistan. In the same Scranton speech, Biden boasted of traveling to the war regions “36,38 times,” however his presidential campaign noted that he travelled to Iraq and Afghanistan “a total of 21 occasions.”
Another favorite Biden lie is that he was the first in his family to attend college. The truth, as revealed by the New York Post, is that his father and grandfather attended college.
The pathological liar Biden often tells falsehoods that can be easily refuted such as his claim that he visited Ground Zero the day after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Just as a leopard cannot change its spots, Biden is a liar who will never change. Unfortunately, too much of our leftwing media has allowed Biden to lie throughout his long political career. Except in the 1988 presidential campaign, when his plagiarism was so egregious that it drove him out of the race, Biden has been able to avoid any backlash for the frequency and the audacity of his lies.
In this campaign, there are encouraging signs there will be some honest media coverage of Biden’s lies. For example, The New York Post noted, during a recent CNN interview, Biden lied 15 times in 17 minutes.
The biggest whopper of the interview was Biden’s outrageous claim that he inherited a 9% inflation rate “when I came into office.” In truth, the inflation rate on January 20, 2021, was only 1.4%.
As President, Biden never delivered peace or prosperity, but he sure delivered a steady dose of lies.

Now the IDF, which is very careful to count the combatants it has killed, after six months of war, concluded that it had killed about 15,000 Hamas and PIJ combatants.
In the first six months of the Gaza war, Kuperman claims — accepting uncritically the figures put out by the Hamas-run Health Ministry — that there were 33,000 people killed in Gaza. (After the seventh month of fighting, that figure has risen to 34,000). But he failed to note that a great many of those killed were not civilians at all, but Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad fighters. The IDF, which has always been very conservative in its estimates of enemy death, determined that by that point in the war, about 15,000 Hamas and PIJ terrorists had been killed. That would mean, if we were to accept Hamas’ figure — 33,000 — of the total number of dead after six months, that only 18,000 of those killed were civilians. That would give us a monthly average of 3,000 civilians killed.
During the two years of massacres in 2003 and 2004 by both the Sudanese military and the Janjaweed militias, hundreds of thousands of black Africans, all of them civilians, were killed. Some put the total at 400,000. That would mean an average of 17,000 monthly deaths. Compare that figure to the 3,000 civilians killed on average each month in Gaza during the first six months of the war. The deaths that Kuperman says were “much greater” in Gaza than in any other recent example of mass killings, turn out to be far less, both in monthly averages, and in the total.
The deaths of civilians in Darfur continued long after the actual fighting was over. Black Africans in Darfur were not combatants but farmers and pastoralists simply trying to stay alive in a subsistence economy. The Janjaweed not only murdered civilians, but deliberately destroyed all the crops the Darfur farmers had planted, cut down their trees, stole their livestock, and burned down their villages, so that any Africans who survived their attacks would find it difficult to continue to live. Thus many died of starvation in the months following the end of hostilities, in a slow-motion genocide. A total of two million black Africans — all civilians — died in the Darfur war. So far, after seven months of war, fewer than 20,000 civilians have been killed in Gaza. See the difference?
Here are the facts, for those who need reminding:
1. Hamas started this war, a war Israel did not want, when 3,000 of its operatives smashed into Israel on October 7, accompanied by some non-Hamas Gazans who came along to join in the fun of raping and killing. Hamas operatives proceeded to rape, torture, mutilate, and murder 1,200 Israelis. They kidnapped and taken back to Gaza about 260 Israeli hostages.
2. In conducting its war in Gaza, the IDF has made colossal efforts to minimize civilian casualties. It has done so by dropping 14 million leaflets, sending six million messages, and making four million robocalls, all in order to warn civilians to leave areas, or specific buildings, such as schools, apartment buildings, mosques, and hospitals, where Hamas has embedded itself and hid its weapons and rocket launchers. In warning civilians to leave places about being targeted, the IDF is also, unavoidably, warning Hamas. No other army in the world warns its enemies of where it plans to strike next.
3. Israeli pilots have called off hundreds of strikes after they detected the presence of too many civilians in the target area.
4. For these reasons, British Colonel Richard Kemp, who commanded the British forces in Afghanistan and fought in a half-dozen other campaigns, has described the IDF as the “most moral army in the world” in its sustained effort to minimize civilian casualties.
Similarly, West Point Professor of Urban Warfare John Spencer has written that “ Israel has implemented more measures to prevent civilian casualties in urban warfare than any other military in the history of warfare.”
5. Even if we were to accept the figures on casualties put out by the Hamas-directed Ministry of Health, we arrive at a figure of 3,000 monthly deaths of Gazan civilians during the first six months of the war. But in Sudan, during the period of the Arab Janjaweed attacks on black Africans, the monthly average was nearly six times as high — 17,000 deaths each month.
It’s a cautionary tale. Pay close attention to the numbers being cited by those who make astonishing claims about the deaths of Gazan civilians that, they insist, have been far greater than the civilian deaths caused by the Janjaweed in Darfur or in similar recent cases of mass death, as in Burundi. Don’t let yourself be hornswoggled.

This latest imbroglio started when Politico reported Thursday that “Illinois leaders in the Palestinian communities angry over how President Joe Biden has handled the Middle East war have turned down a request by the White House to meet in Chicago today.” We can see who is claiming the moral high ground, and who has the upper hand. After Hamas brutally and gleefully murdered 1,200 Israelis on Oct. 7, 2023, Islamic groups and their leftist allies immediately began to claim victimhood at any sign of Israeli self-defense, fabricating casualty numbers before a world that was all too eager to be fooled, and even preposterously claiming that Israel was conducting a “genocide” when independent observers have dubbed the IDF “the most moral army in the world.”
Despite all that, Muslim and leftist leaders around the world know that making wild claims about Israel and affecting a posture of aggrieved victimhood can win them ready concessions from the U.S., the European Union, and the United Nations, and so they’ve been striking victim poses aggressively since Oct. 7. It has worked. The Biden regime is on its heels, desperately worried by threats from the likes of Nihad Awad of the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the winsome Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Ramallah) to withhold the Muslim vote if the regime doesn’t betray Israel. And so it has been doing just that, step by step, in slow motion: $100 million to Gaza, $10 billion to Hamas’ financiers, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and ever-increasing pressure on the Netanyahu government.
Meanwhile, the regime keeps trying to placate Muslim and Arab groups inside the U.S.: “Tom Perez, a senior adviser to the president, and other advisers had planned to sit down in three separate meetings with various Palestinian, Arab and Muslim leaders and elected officials to discuss tensions in the Middle East. The private meetings were to come on the heels of similar gatherings in Detroit.” The professional victims, however, stayed in character: “But most folks contacted turned down the request, according to six people we talked to." Any meeting being held will be with a smaller group of players.”
Not only did they refuse to meet with White House apparatchiks, but they continued to excoriate the regime for its alleged support of Israel. One Muslim spokesman declared that his group considered “anyone — Palestinian, Muslim, Arab — who takes a meeting with the White House to be an absolute sell-out.” One of those who declined to attend was Ahmed Rehab of Hamas-linked CAIR, who explained: “We believe a thousand percent in civic engagement. We preach it. But this is an unusual moment and requires an unusual response. We have made clear that a ceasefire is needed.”
The outreach to CAIR, whose top dog Awad infamously said that he was “happy” about Hamas’ Oct. 7 jihad massacre, embarrassed even the Biden regime apparatchiks. Jewish Insider correspondent Gabby Deutsch stated: “WH spox @AndrewJBates46 told me that CAIR was *not* invited to WH mtgs in Chicago w/ Muslim Americans—& that the group is NEVER invited to WH mtgs.”
This just piled embarrassment upon embarrassment. Unfortunately, for the wretched regime wonk Bates, CAIR has been frequently invited to Biden's White House and has posted press releases detailing the meetings. But the idea of the regime kowtowing to an organization with actual Hamas ties is too much even for Biden’s handlers, and so Bates was apparently instructed to lie about the meetings, exposing the Biden team as both dishonest and pro-Hamas.

Even worse is the timing. Richard Goldberg of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies pointed out that “since Friday: Pro-Hamas antisemitic rioters in Chicago intimidated the House of Blues to cancel a Jewish singer’s sold-out show. The venue cited security concerns. Loyola University told Jewish students they could no longer allow a survivor of the Nova music festival massacre to speak on campus. The university cited security concerns. Jews were attacked while trying to enter a theatre to watch footage of the Nova music festival massacre. Jews are not even allowed to mourn the massacres without being attacked in the city of Chicago. The mayor says nothing. The president says nothing. But the White House is sending staff to meet with the organizers of these violent riots and assaults instead of defending the Jews they are trying to drive underground.”
That’s right. And if this is happening more or less out in the open, albeit with inept and half-hearted attempts to cover it up, imagine the betrayals that are going on behind the scenes.
