USDA Partners with Groups Linked to Terror to Bring Halal Food to Muslims

When there is more to Hamas and hummus than just similar-sounding names

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is the section of our government that is responsible for ensuring that our food is safe for American consumption. Yet, when it comes to food consumed by Muslim Americans, the USDA has been relying on groups associated with terrorism – the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) and Islamic Relief (IR) – for assistance and is even partnering with these groups. The following will explain why our government needs to break ties with these radical outfits and worry not just about food safety, but national security.

According to ICNA Relief, the social services division of ICNA, the group has been “working with the U.S. Department of Agriculture for the past two years to provide guidance on expanding halal food options through the emergency food assistance program (TEFAP)… In the future, we will be working to educate USDA suppliers, distributors, and wholesalers on the requirements of halal certification.”

The USDA states on its website, “For specific Halal information the following organizations may be helpful: ICNA Relief [and] Islamic Relief USA.”  The USDA website also lists Islamic Relief USA (IRUSA) as a USDA Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) “partner organization.” IRUSA is the US branch of IR. IR’s global headquarters, Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW), is based in Birmingham, England.

ICNA was founded as the American arm of the South Asian Islamist group Jamaat-e-Islami (JI). As such, ICNA has significant links to South Asian terrorists. For over three decades, ICNA has harbored former JI killing squad commander Ashrafuzzaman Khan, who, in November 2013, was sentenced to death (in absentia) for the murders of 18 people during the 1971 Bangladesh genocide. Khan has served as ICNA Vice President and ICNA-New York President. ICNA has as well collaborated with and promoted Falah-i-Insaniat Foundation (FIF), a banned front for Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), the group behind the November 2008 Mumbai, India terror attacks.

ICNA has been linked to terrorist financing. In August 2006, ICNA was a top donor and partner to JI charity Al-Khidmat Foundation (AKF), at the same time AKF led a delegation to Damascus, Syria to hand deliver $100,000 to the then-global head of Hamas, Khaled Mashal, at his residence. ICNA continues to be a partner and donor to AKF. In October 2000, ICNA placed on its website links to the official sites of Hamas and Hezbollah as well as a directive issued by then-ICNA President Mohammad Yunus to provide “material support” to “fellow Chechnyan Muslims,” while providing a link to qoqaz.net (‘Jihad in Chechnya’), a financing/recruitment website for al-Qaeda.

ICNA has an Islamic outreach (dawah) division, WhyIslam. On the WhyIslam website, one finds an essay, ‘Gender Equity in Islam,’ sanctioning domestic violence. It states, “[W]omen on whose part you fear disloyalty… beat them.” Not long ago, the site featured a message board used by forum moderators to make posts deriding Jews and supporting Hamas and Israel’s destruction. One moderator, Marwan, discussing an Indian eatery called “Hitler’s cross,” vilely joked, “Nazi restaurant… I wonder if they have kosher meals.” Another said that Jews who speak against Israel… “deserve peace and life… The rest will one day end up in the Mediterranean sea.”

Like ICNA, Islamic Relief has several ties to overseas terrorism. As a result, IR has been banned by a number of nations. In May 2006, Israel labeled IR a front for Hamas. In November 2014, the UAE government designated IR as a terrorist group. Also in 2014, Britain’s HSBC bank cut ties with Islamic Relief over concerns about “terrorist financing.” And in October 2017, Bangladesh’s NGO Affairs Bureau banned Islamic Relief in fear the group would conduct terrorist recruitment of Myanmar refugees. In November 1999, it was reported that Islamic Relief had collected and sent over $6 million to Chechen rebels with ties to Al-Qaeda.

IRUSA board member and ex-Chairman, Khaled Lamada, has used social media to promote the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas. According to the Middle East Forum, “Lamada has circulated text praising the ‘jihad’ of the ‘Mujahidin of Egypt’ for ‘causing the Jews many defeats’” and “republished claims on Facebook that praise Hamas for inflicting a ‘huge defeat’ against the ‘Zionist entity.’” In June 2015, Lamada tweeted that it is “absurd” to classify Hamas “as a terrorist organization.” Lamada has visited suicide bombing supporter Mazen Mokhtar at the hospital and praised anti-Semitic Egyptian cleric Salah Sultan as “the honor of the homeland.”

What could possibly be the legitimate reason for the USDA or any governmental organization to partner with either ICNA or Islamic Relief? In truth, there is none. These groups are dangerous to society and threats to national security. Their associations with terror and bigotry render any expertise that they may or may not have in Halal food moot.

Instead of embracing these groups, as the USDA has done, the agency should look to shut them down. There is no excuse to partner with either of these two radical entities, as a partnership implies an acceptance of the hatred and violence they are linked to.

UK: Military families have no heat or hot water as government hosts illegal migrants in plush hotels

Dhimmitude has taken full reign in the UK, with mostly Muslim migrants from the Middle East and North Africa swarming into the country via the English Channel for years. The invasion of unvetted migrants is getting worse. Now hundreds of posh hotels are crammed with migrants, while “hundreds of troops and their families are freezing without heating or hot water.”

As always in Britain, authorities are expressing shock and making promises, but nothing will be done. Meanwhile, the UK is spending $8.5 million USD a day on hotels for illegals, and national security is disregarded as the country sinks economically and culturally.

According to the Migration Observatory at the University of Oxford, “In 2020, the top five most common countries of the nationality of people seeking asylum in the UK were Iran, Iraq, Albania, Eritrea, and Sudan,” which are all majority-Muslim countries except Eritrea, which has a significant Muslim minority. “Of all refugees resettled in the UK from January 2010 to December 2020, around 70% were Syrian.”

Hundreds of troops and their families are freezing without heating or hot water this weekend as they desperately wait for repairs in rundown military homes.

Sleeping bags have been handed out to soldiers, their partners and children as they shiver in Army homes, many of which have had no heat or hot water for weeks.

Private contractor Pinnacle faces mounting questions over the scandal after it was given a £144million contract in March to manage Britain’s 49,000 service family homes.

The company, whose boss earns £320,000 a year, responded to the crisis by setting up an emergency helpline – with an automated message that advised desperate callers to heat their pipes with hot water bottles or warm flannels.

But families said they spent hours desperately trying to call for help as harrowing stories emerged of young children developing viral infections and sleeping in their coats in subzero temperatures.

Last night Defence Secretary Ben Wallace vowed to intervene to deal with the crisis. He tweeted: ‘I have directed those responsible for accommodation services to up their game.

I shall be speaking to all the chief executives directly early next week.’ A senior defence source called the crisis a disgrace, while the Ministry of Defence admitted that it was unacceptable and sent letters of apology to every family in military accommodation.

With the cold snap biting, soldiers were allowed to sign out extra sleeping bags for are no appointments for days.’

Pinnacle’s contract was supposed to end decades of sub-standard conditions. Last month it was reported that nearly a third of UK military homes needed repairs.

Sources said families with ‘total loss of heating’ (with a temporary solution provided) were eligible for a £1 voucher per 24 hours.

The Ministry of Defence said: ‘It is unacceptable some personnel and their families are not receiving the level of accommodation ser­vices they deserve.

Across the 46,197 homes managed in the contract, some are experiencing issues due to the sharp drop in temperatures.

‘We are working quickly with our contractors to resolve heating and water problems, on top of spending tens of millions to upgrade thousands of homes in the last year.’…

National Guard and state troopers are blocking migrants at the border in El Paso

On Tuesday, the Texas National Guard’s 36th Infantry Division began deploying personnel, military vehicles, and concertina wire (aka razor wire) on the state’s border with Mexico in an attempt to slow down illegal immigration, which has significantly increased since the Biden administration was put in charge in 2021. The deployment is largely confined to the El Paso area.

The deployment seems to be, at least in part, a reaction to El Paso Mayor Oscar Leeser’s declaration of December 17, in which the city declared that it “is faced with the imminent threat of widespread injury or loss of life resulting from a surge in transient migrants traveling to the region.”

In addition, on November 15, Texas Governor Greg Abbott invoked invasion clauses of the U.S. and Texas Constitutions and hinted such actions by the Texas National Guard might take place in response to the influx of illegal immigrants absent any federal assistance, which has been lacking during the Biden administration.

Abbott called out the Biden administration for its lackadaisical attitude where the border is concerned.

“President Biden will go anywhere … except the border,” Abbott tweeted. “Texas communities are bearing the burden of Biden’s open border policies. As the federal government does nothing, we continue to step up to secure our border.”

Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution states: “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them from Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic violence.”

And Article 1, Section 10, Clause 3 states that “No State shall, without the Consent of Congress, lay any Duty of Tonnage, keep Troops, or Ships of War in time of Peace, enter into any Agreement or Compact with another State, or with a foreign Power, or engage in War, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit delay.” (Emphasis added.)

Texas and Arizona in particular believe that they are in “such imminent Danger.” President Biden has been invited many times to observe the situation but, thus far, has declined.

As Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich recently told popular commentator Tim Pool’s TimCast program, “The reality is, if you look at Article 1, Section 10 of the U.S. Constitution, you look at Article 4, the Section 4 of the Constitution, I mean, the states have a right to defend themselves, and the federal government has an obligation to defend the states against an invasion.”

“And when they do not do so, the governors of the respective states acting as essentially commander-in-chiefs of their states can order their militia [to] mobilize their national guard to fight or repel that invasion,” the Arizona AG concluded.

Title 42, a provision of federal law that allows the federal government to keep aliens from entering the country to prevent communicable diseases, was set to end this week, which prompted a huge number of migrants to gather in the dangerous Mexican border city of Juárez. The U.S. Border Patrol has been deluged for two years now, and state governments are finally getting the message that the federal government will not help.

At least one Texas judge believes that the Texas National Guard has overstepped its bounds as it pertains to the border situation.

“I am very confident that it was not coordinated with Border Patrol,” said El Paso County Judge Ricardo Samaniego. “I have always insisted that any assistance from the state has to be part of our overall strategy and in lockstep with our own enforcement strategy.”

Despite Washington’s ambivalence, the situation at the southern border is quite dangerous to American citizens, and also to the immigrants who look to cross the U.S. border.

“I’m concerned for the safety and welfare of the migrants but the cartels are not,” Major General Win Burkett told the New York Post.

Burkett commands 500 Texas National Guard troops at the border and believes that drug cartels are taking advantage of the confusing situation.

“[The drug cartels] are exploiting this migrant surge so that they can have unimpeded access to the border,” Burkett said. “Our message to the migrants is that this is not safe. There have been drownings every day of people crossing the river at Eagle Pass where the water is deep, and there is a high risk of hypothermia as the temperature drops.”

The deployment of razor wire, military vehicles, and armed personnel on the border lies directly at the feet of the Biden administration, which seems to be actively working against any border control rather than enforcing it. States such as Texas now have no other option than to deal with the situation on their own or simply allow themselves to be invaded.

And it’s not “anti-immigrant” or “racist” to say so.

Texas National Guard Secures the Border but Can Only Do so Much

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has been doing the federal government’s job for some time now, cobbling together policies, legal cover, manpower, and infrastructure to repel at least a portion of the hordes the Democrats are importing into the country. In March of 2021, Abbott launched Operation Lone Star, an initiative of the Governor’s Office, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), and the Texas National Guard “to work together to secure the border; stop the smuggling of drugs, weapons, and people into Texas; and prevent, detect, and interdict transnational criminal behavior between ports of entry.”

The Texas Tribune described the rollout a year later:

When Abbott first announced Operation Lone Star, 500 Texas National Guard members were sent to the border, and HB 9 funded a deployment of an additional 1,800 soldiers in September 2021. Later that month, Abbott directed 1,000 DPS personnel and 400 more Texas National Guard members to the border in response to the sudden arrival of 16,000 migrants in Del Rio.

The operation was massively upscaled in November 2021, sending up to 10,000 National Guard members to the border.

Last month, Abbott’s office reported:

Since the launch of Operation Lone Star, the multi-agency effort has led to over 325,000 migrant apprehensions and more than 21,900 criminal arrests, with more than 19,400 felony charges reported. In the fight against fentanyl, DPS has seized over 352 million lethal doses of fentanyl during this border mission.

But Joe Biden’s invited guests have only increased their numbers. A week after being reelected last month, Abbott invoked the Invasion Clauses of the Texas and U.S. Constitutions, unlocking additional powers to help defend his state and nation from the third-world invasion.

Now reports are coming in that the Texas National Guard is deploying personnel, concertina wire, and vehicles along the border to repel the invaders.

But alas, the state can only do so much in the face of federal determination to pack the country with a new, socialism-ready underclass.

Texas’s valiant efforts may at least work partway to “stop the smuggling of drugs, weapons, and people into Texas” and “prevent, detect, and interdict transnational criminal behavior between ports of entry,” but it won’t accomplish much to stop the invasion. Only a policy change at the federal level can do that. So for the time being, the unspeakable betrayal of U.S. citizens by a major political party will continue unabated.

While hardworking Britons get played for fools, traitorous politicians live high on the hog.

 

El Paso State of Emergency, Migrants Entering Through Sewers

It’s even worse than predicted.

El Paso Mayor Oscar Leeser declared a state of emergency after conferring with federal officials about the thousands of illegal aliens who are in El Paso, waiting to be released into the United States.

There is no room for them in the overflowing shelters, so thousands of them are sleeping in the streets. Or, sleeping in the sewers.

“Talking to some of our federal partners they really believe that on Wednesday our numbers will go to 4-, 5- or 6,000, and when I asked them, I said do you believe that you guys can handle it today, the answer was no. And when I heard the answer was no, I knew we had to do something right away,” Leeser said. (emphasis added)

Why can’t they handle it? The Biden administration has known since the summer that Title 42 was going to end. They have known since the beginning of May that they were facing an unprecedented crisis — up to 18,000 illegal aliens a day showing up at the border.

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas told America back in May, no worries, we’re on it.

“What we do is we prepare and we plan, and we’ve been doing so for months understanding that the Title 42 authority that the CDC holds is not going to be around forever because, quite frankly, we want to conquer the pandemic and put it behind us,” Mayorkas said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

As it turns out, that was a lie.

El Paso represents but one crossing point for illegals in Texas. There are 28 main border crossings in that state alone. And if they’re getting slammed with 6,000 illegals arriving every day in El Paso, 18,000 illegals a day along the entire southern border is an optimistic number.

According to the city, staff will be able to use the declaration to request additional resources and support from the state, which includes but is not limited to personnel, shelter, and transportation.

Under the declaration, staff will also set up an Emergency Operations Center and implement emergency management plans to protect the health, safety and welfare of migrants.

Meantime, the Office of Emergency Management (OEM) has been sending out roving teams to assist the migrants that CBP are releasing in the Downtown area. The teams are focused on helping people arrange for transportation and offering them shelter to get them out of the elements and cold temperatures.

Biden is going to look for some way to deflect blame for the coming humanitarian catastrophe onto Donald Trump. But with six months of lead time to plan for a crisis that was his fault in the first place for inviting illegals to cross the border in the first days of his administration, he’s not going to have an excuse for what’s hitting El Paso now.

El Paso is trying to spread the misery to neighboring towns.

Wall Street Journal:

Mr. D’Agostino said Saturday that the state is set to deploy additional law-enforcement assistance and buses to help shuttle migrants out of El Paso to other cities around the region that might have more transportation options.

More than 36,000 migrants, many of them Nicaraguan asylum seekers, have been taken into custody in El Paso since Dec. 1, and roughly 20,000 people have been released into the community.

No room at the inn for these folks. And pretty soon, all of these people are going to become some other city’s problem.

Biden promised the American people “an orderly, secure, and well-managed border while treating people fairly and humanely.” There’s nothing “orderly” about what’s taking place and as far as being “well managed,” this clusterfark is anything but. Secretary Mayorkas should resign immediately or be impeached. His incompetence is going to get a lot of people killed.

And that will be on him and his boss, Joe Biden.

Massive Surge of Illegal Aliens at the Texas Border

Here They Come!

The long-feared, long-expected surge of illegal aliens crossing the U.S. border with the repeal of Title 42 immigration restrictions has already begun even though the deadline for lifting the restrictions is still 8 days away.

El Paso, Texas, is a disaster zone. More than 5,000 illegal aliens from Central and South America have flooded the immigration processing centers just this past weekend.

“The numbers are like nothing I’ve seen for the last 25 years,” Blake Barrow, the director of the Rescue Mission of El Paso, told the New York Times.  “Honestly, I don’t know how to address this problem. The situation is overwhelming us.”

But remember, our border is secure. See?

 

And so the scenes unfolding in El Paso offered a preview of the challenges that border officials could soon face all along the southern border after the policy comes to an end, as it is expected to, absent court intervention, next week.

Most of those who arrived on Sunday turned themselves in to federal authorities for processing. Soon, most of them would join the thousands of others who have crossed in recent days, many of whom have been released to seek help and food, some clustering at the downtown bus station, some sleeping on cardboard during a night when temperatures dipped toward freezing.

So this is Homeland Security’s “plan”? Release people in the middle of an American city — impoverished, hungry, with no shelter and no food?

“What we do is we prepare and we plan, and we’ve been doing so for months understanding that the Title 42 authority that the CDC holds is not going to be around forever because, quite frankly, we want to conquer the pandemic and put it behind us,” DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said on CNN’s State of the Union in May of 2022. Mayorkas was commenting on the probability that up to 18,000 illegal aliens a day would show up at the U.S. border once Title 42 was lifted.

“Honestly, I don’t know how to address this problem,” Blake Barrow told the Times. “The situation is overwhelming us.” And the same is true all across Texas, as the entire state is under siege.

Rosalio Sosa, who runs a network of shelters in the area, told the outlet that her facilities are struggling to keep up with the constant inflow of migrants. “The queue right now is endless,” he said.

An anonymous administration official implied the federal government is still attempting to tackle the “root” causes of illegal immigration in economically ravaged and politically tumultuous countries in Central America that are sparking the migrant upheaval. The Biden administration has not come up with a plan to fix the border catastrophe, he said.

The Texas Tribune reports that the Mexican state of Chihuahua sent 20 buses to the border

“Welcome to the United States!” a young man in the middle of the Rio Grande shouted to the hundreds of migrants arriving at the border from shelters in Juárez on Sunday night. “You made it!”

The migrants who crossed Sunday night were in a group of hundreds who were escorted by Chihuahua State Police from the city of Jiménez to Juárez earlier in the day in a caravan of 20 buses. The buses split up in Juárez and brought migrants to the Leona Vicario and Kiki Romero shelters.

Some Democrats may try to blame Donald Trump and the Republicans for the fiasco at the border, but only rabid partisans will believe that. This crisis is full-blown, homegrown, made by Democrats, and ineptly managed by Joe Biden.

And in the immortal words of Ronald Reagan (who apparently stole them from W.C. Fields), “You ain’t seen nuthin’ yet.”

A Nest of Ninnies: UK Office of Budget Responsibility Declares More Migrants Help Spur Economic Growth

The nest of ninnies in the U.K. government keeps trying to convince an increasingly skeptical public that the steady stream of migrants – most of them Muslim and many of them illegal – now entering the U.K. – are a positive benefit to the economy, and hence the British, far from trying to limit immigration, should encourage it. This bizarre twist on the truth can be found here: “Cutting immigration means higher taxes,” by James Kirkup, The Spectator, 

Is it true that this largely Muslim immigration is a boon to the U.K.? We know that in the year ending (YE) in June 2022, the net international migration, which is the difference calculated between immigration and emigration within the same period, was estimated at 504,000, an increase of 331,000 compared with the YE June 2021 figure of 173,000. This is a colossal increase. The Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR) seems to think that is a Good Thing.

‘Only the higher-than-expected numbers of migrants coming to the UK under the post-Brexit migration regime adds materially to prospects for potential output growth over the coming five years relative to the assumptions that we made in March.’

That’s from the Office for Budget Responsibility’s (OBR) assessment accompanying the Autumn Statement. It’s a pretty striking line: the state’s official analyst of the public finances says that the only good thing to happen to the UK economy since March is higher immigration.

Here, I can only say something rather childish: I told you so. No doubt this immigration outlook will make some people unhappy. Justifiably, too. It isn’t what they were promised, at least by the current Home Secretary. Suella Braverman said she wants net migration to fall below 100,000 – though to be fair, she said that as part of the Truss government in October.

James Kirkup belongs to that small group of Conservatives who have convinced themselves that migration has been an economic boon for the U.K. Fortunately, the majority of Conservatives take a much less sanguine view of the migrant invasion.

We need to ask a few questions of these British enthusiasts of migration. Are they aware that more than three-quarters of the migrants now flooding into the U.K. are Muslims? Are they aware that many Muslim migrants in the U.K. are not true asylum seekers, as they claim to be, but rather, economic migrants, determined to take advantage of all the generous benefits that the British government — that is, the British taxpayer – offers? Among those benefits are subsidized or free housing, free medical care available from the National Health Service, free education, and family allowances that increase with each child (Muslim families are much larger than those of the indigenous British, and derive the greatest benefit from this support), and unemployment benefits even without ever having been employed. The amount the National Health spends on Muslims is unusually high, it needs to be pointed out, because of the prevalence of congenital ailments among Muslims. This is the result of inbreeding, with marriages between cousins being encouraged. In a low-trust culture, it makes sense to keep marriages, and hence property, within the extended family.

Muslims who feel the need to supplement those benefits sometimes turn to crimes of property – robbery, and burglary. Muslims exhibit an unusually high rate of criminality; they make up 4% of the U.K. population, but 20% of the prison population. To the costs of all those benefits that Muslim economic migrants take full advantage of, we must add the cost of their high rates of criminality. This criminal activity requires that more government money be spent on police, detectives, prosecutors, court-appointed lawyers, prosecutors, judges, prison guards, and prisons. This all adds up to a very great sum, though, as far as I can tell, no one has actually calculated the precise cost to the British government of the economic benefits that Muslim migrants lay claim to, being content to simply note that annually, it runs into the billions of dollars. The average cost to the British government of incarcerating a single prisoner is $75,000, with rapists, murderers, and terrorists requiring the highest security, which makes them the most expensive to incarcerate. Muslims constitute close to one-quarter of the rapists and murderers in British prisons, and nearly all of those convicted of terrorism in the last twenty years (there is still a handful of aging IRA men in UK prisons).

Adding the cost of all the government benefits Muslim migrants take full advantage of to the cost of arresting, putting on trial, and then incarcerating Muslim criminals, gives us an annual figure of tens of billions of dollars. And this is only the economic cost. There are other great costs to society, not susceptible to measurement. What kind of dollar or pound figure do we assign to the damage done to many thousands of English girls, the victims of Muslim grooming gangs in two dozen English cities, who were seduced, given drinks and drugs, and then passed around to be shared as sexual objects? We cannot put a dollar figure on the despair and human ruin that the Muslim grooming gangs in the U.K. have caused, but that does not mean that despair and ruin aren’t real.

How do we put an economic value on the increased sense of insecurity felt by British women in some neighborhoods where they used to think nothing of going out at night alone? Muslims have been known to prey on Infidel women, whose dress suggests to Muslims that they “are just asking for it”? What about the anxiety felt by Jews who know that if they wear identifiable Jewish dress – kippahs and Star-of-David pendants, not to mention shtreimels and tallit worn by Hasidim going to the shul — they can expect at some point to be attacked by Muslims, not only in London, Manchester, and Birmingham, but also in Paris, Rome, and even New York? And what is the negative value we assign to the appearance of No-Go neighborhoods, where a dominant population of Muslim migrants makes outsiders – the indigenous non-Muslims whose country these migrants have invaded – distinctly unwelcome, and even the police and firemen do not enter without protection?

So let’s go back to that report by the OBR that prompted this piece, the report titled: “The U.K. Office of Budget Responsibility declares that more migrants help spur economic growth.”

Just one question. What are those people at the U.K. Office of Budget Responsibility smoking?

Federal Judge Decrees an End to Title 42 Expulsions of Illegal Immigrants

And Senator Schumer looks to illegal immigrants to ensure "great future" for America.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., has a solution for America’s declining birth rate. “Now more than ever, we’re short of workers, we have a population that is not reproducing on its own with the same level that it used to,” Senator Schumer said. “The only way we’re going to have a great future in America is if we welcome and embrace immigrants, the DREAMers and – all of them. Cause our ultimate goal is to help the DREAMers but get a path to citizenship for all 11 million, or however many undocumented immigrants.”

Senator Schumer is selling the American people down the river. He believes that only by welcoming and embracing all immigrants, including the many millions of illegal immigrants now residing in the United States, can we “have a great future in America.” Turning today’s illegal immigrants, which far exceed 11 million, into tomorrow’s dependable voters for Democrat candidates will be great for the Democratic Party’s future. But Senator Schumer’s idea of rolling out a red carpet for today’s illegal immigrants on their “path to citizenship” will only incentivize millions more immigrants to cross the open border illegally into the United States. Say goodbye to America’s national sovereignty and respect for the rule of law.

A federal judge, U.S. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan, has just issued a ruling that will accelerate our nation’s decline by putting the kibosh on the continued use of Title 42 expulsion authority. Judge Sullivan did agree to allow the Biden administration to take five more weeks to resolve any logistical issues arising from ending Title 42 authority, but it is only a temporary reprieve. It has been estimated that as many as 18,000 illegal immigrants will flood across the U.S.-Mexico border every day once Title 42 is no longer available to use.

Title 42 delegates authority to the executive branch to immediately expel for public health reasons immigrants at the border without first having to hear the immigrants’ purported asylum claims. Both the Trump administration and the Biden administration have used this authority since March 2020 to expel more than 2.3 million migrants at the U.S. border with Mexico. The purpose has been to save Americans from the further spread of the deadly coronavirus brought into the country by illegal immigrants. But Judge Sullivan has ruled that the continued use of Title 42 authority must stop before the end of this year.

Judge Sullivan decided that further use of Title 42 expulsion authority would be “arbitrary and capricious,” even though the deadly coronavirus is still very much with us in mutated forms. What makes this all the more dangerous to Americans is that illegal immigrants admitted into the United States and remaining in the country are not regularly tested or vaccinated. But the judge was dismissive of such concerns.

“Defendants have not shown that the risk of migrants spreading COVID-19 is ‘a real problem,’” Judge Sullivan wrote.

It is not the defendants’ job to prove a negative. Besides, current data comparing the weekly average of new cases in the U.S. for the week ending October 17, 2022 with the weekly average of new cases for the week ending November 17, 2022 shows an increase. People are still dying and being hospitalized because of COVID-19.

Illegal immigrants entering the country are certainly not immune to the disease. Far from it. Who knows how many of the millions of illegal immigrants now in the U.S. and entering the U.S. in the future are carriers of the virus? Why should Americans have to take a chance that they will be exposed to any illegal immigrant carriers and get sick? Judge Sullivan has no answers to these questions. His decision to end the protection provided by Title 42’s expulsion authority is “arbitrary and capricious.”

Judge Sullivan is the same judge who refused to dismiss the case against retired three-star General Michael T. Flynn, former President Trump’s then-national security adviser, even after the Department of Justice moved to drop its charges against him. Judge Sullivan tried to play the role of a prosecutor in demanding to prolong that case on his own initiative, to which a three-judge panel for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia said no. Now, Judge Sullivan is trying to act like a health expert as he cavalierly dismisses the threat of COVID-19 to the American people, including from transmission of the virus by untested, unvaccinated illegal immigrants.

Judge Sullivan pointed to masking or testing as less restrictive measures than expulsions under Title 42. “Defendants failed to consider another ‘obvious and less drastic alternative’ and give a reasoned explanation for its rejection of the alternative,” Judge Sullivan wrote.

It is easy for the judge to pontificate without his being responsible for the consequences. Judge Sullivan failed to consider how ineffective masking might be, let alone how to enforce a masking requirement once illegal immigrants are released from detention and sent on their way. The same goes for testing. Even if all the immigrants could be tested at border facilities, wouldn’t that become no more than a one-and-done screening for COVID-19? Probably so, since regular monitoring of the immigrants, once they are released, to ensure they continue being tested or vaccinated will not be feasible.

Even regular testing of illegal immigrants before they are allowed to board commercial airplanes, for example, has proven to be woefully inadequate.

The Inspector General of the Department of Homeland Security issued a report dated May 18, 2022, which criticized how the Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) handled the testing of newly arrived immigrants for COVID-19.

“ERO transported migrants without ensuring all migrants were COVID-19–negative before transport and did not retain complete transport records,” the report concluded. “These practices risk exposing other migrants, ERO staff, and the general public to COVID-19. It is imperative that ERO establish and enforce policies and procedures to mitigate public health concerns regarding COVID-19 or other future pandemics.”

Given the grossly inadequate resources readily available, the testing of all illegal immigrants at border facilities is obviously not a realistic option. Continuing to invite millions of untested and unvaccinated illegal immigrants into the country and releasing them to live anywhere they want will risk the further spread of the coronavirus. Keeping Title 42 in place would significantly diminish this risk, but Judge Sullivan is recklessly taking this option away.

Only Congress, not Judge Sullivan, can appropriate sufficient funding to bolster the resources needed to have a chance of conducting fully comprehensive testing and vaccination programs. But tax-paying Americans are under no obligation to write a blank check to subsidize the screening and vaccinations for unending flows of illegal immigrants into the country when there is a less burdensome alternative available. Simply stop the flow of potential illegal immigrant carriers into the country by continuing to use the expulsion authority granted by Title 42 until the threat of further spreading of COVID-19 is over. Judge Sullivan’s irresponsible ruling should be appealed, including all the way up to the Supreme Court if necessary.

Returning to Senator Schumer’s suggestion that giving illegal immigrants a path to citizenship will solve America’s shortage of workers, there are far better solutions than turning the U.S. into a lawless, third-world country.

How about ending giveaway programs that make it more worthwhile for some people to stay home than to look for a job? And what about stopping to promote abortion on demand? The total number of abortions since the Roe v. Wade decision is in the range of 64,000,000 or more. Perhaps if many of those aborted babies were alive today to become working-age adults, they would have been able to share as Americans in the “great future in America” that Senator Schumer says only illegal immigrants can bring about.

The Pope has stated that every Christian is “called to reflect God’s gaze towards our migrant and refugee brothers and sisters,” except that he does not differentiate among migrants. Is the pope referring also to drug dealers among refugees, criminals, rapists, and jihadists? All of them have been found to be among the unvetted hordes illegally entering Western countries.

Until the pope dismisses his own security detail and issues an open invitation to his Vatican quarters to all illegal, unvetted economic migrants, he should not be preaching open-door migration.

Last year, Pope Francis asserted that “failure to integrate migrants can create serious problems.” Note how he puts no responsibility on the migrants to integrate, but on the host countries to integrate them. He continued:

“I am always reminded of the tragedy of Zaventem: those who did this were Belgians, but the children of migrants who were not integrated, who were ghettoized. Welcome, accompany, promote and integrate.”

The pope was referring to two suicide bombings that took place at Brussels Airport in Zaventem, Belgium, on March 22, 2016.

He also stated “the conviction that in each of them we encounter the Lord Jesus,” but one should wonder how he would explain such a “conviction” to a parent whose child has been raped, murdered or both by jihadists. Last February, the Pope celebrated “unity in diversity” as Muslim persecution of Christians escalated worldwide. His repeated insensitivity to the vast tally of victims is unconscionable.

To increase fraternity and social friendship, “we are all called to be creative, to think outside the box,” Francis proposed. “We are called to open new spaces, where art, music and being together become instruments of intercultural dynamics, where we can savor the richness of the encounter of diversity.”

The pope prayed that his hearers might experience “the joy of being with migrants, of being at their service, and of doing so with faith, animated by the Holy Spirit, in the conviction that in each of them we encounter the Lord Jesus.”……

Prices at the Grade II-listed Stoke Rochford Hall in Lincolnshire start at $575 per night. This kowtowing to Muslim migrants is part of the larger picture of how far the UK will go to accommodate these migrants (jihadists included, via infiltration). In 2020, Jihad Watch reported that illegal Muslim migrants were being given VIP treatment and filling up hotels on the taxpayer dime, and this looks to continue.

The UK is already overwhelmed by illegal economic Muslim migrants who have been streaming across the English Channel with no end in sight. According to the Migration Observatory at the University of Oxford, “In 2020, the top five most common countries of the nationality of people seeking asylum in the UK were Iran, Iraq, Albania, Eritrea, and Sudan,” which are all majority-Muslim countries except Eritrea, which has a significant Muslim minority. “Of all refugees resettled in the UK from January 2010 to December 2020, around 70% were Syrian.”

Recently, Britain’s new Prime Minister Liz Truss announced her support for open-door migration. before she became prime minister, she had vowed to put a stop to the illegal migrant flows arriving via the English Channel, insisting that she would “absolutely” use the Royal Navy to stop migrants from crossing the channel illegally. She also promised that a “military presence would be maintained under her premiership.” It didn’t take her long to make a U-turn.

British citizens are increasingly becoming dhimmis as citizens give to see their tax dollars used by the government to make unreasonable accommodations to Muslim migrants, many of them who have demonstrated no respect for infidel Britons, nor for the rule of law.

Weddings booked by Britons at a stunning Victorian country mansion have been cancelled after the Home Office announced it needed the hotel for migrants.

At least three weddings have reportedly been cancelled at the Grade II-listed Stoke Rochford Hall in Lincolnshire…

The historic mansion, run by Countrywide Hotels, was already hosting migrants under what local media describes a “compulsory contract” with the government, and was forced to cancel the planned weddings after being told it was required to take on even more.

“The hotel has received notification from the Home Office that the current government contract is to be extended to take additional families with immediate effect,” said a spokeswoman for the hotel.

“It is with deep regret that three weddings that had planned to use the hotel over the coming months have to be cancelled,” she added.

The hotel said they “appreciate[d] how distressing and upsetting cancelling a wedding is, not only for the bride and groom but for all the guests that have been looking forward to celebrating the union and in many cases have made travel arrangements,” and that “[n]ot only are we offering our sincere apologies, but where possible looking at alternative arrangements and venues and then transferring the weddings plans to the [alternative] venue”– with a “full refund” which will supposedly cover “any additional expenses the couple may have incurred”….

In February, the cost of hosting migrants in hotels was estimated at £4.7 million a day — £1.71 billion ($2.31 billion) a year — and it is highly likely to have increased in the months since as 2022 has proved to be another record-breaking year for illegal immigration by boat alone.

Further costs, such as access to state schools and healthcare and regular stipends for migrants, take the direct financial burden associated with paying for them well beyond £2 billion a year.

U.S. Reserving Diversity Visas Mostly for Muslim Immigrants

While increasing numbers of Americans are wondering how they’re going to pay for both gas and groceries this month, the Biden administration is busy concentrating on what’s really important: celebrating diversity. The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) reported Thursday that “recently released State Department estimates indicate that a majority of those coming to the U.S. via the Diversity Visa Lottery during the next fiscal year (2023) will be Muslims, despite the fact that adherents of that faith account for less than a quarter of the world’s population.” What could possibly go wrong? Surely you don’t object to this, do you? Biden’s handlers are no doubt standing ready to brand anyone who dares utter a murmur of dissent as “racist” and “Islamophobic.”

There are other reasons why Americans may look askance at the prospect of bringing large numbers of Muslims into the country. While there is no doubt whatsoever that the overwhelming majority of Muslims will never become terrorists, there is no reliable way to determine, among those wishing to enter the country, which hold jihadist sentiments and which do not. The consequences in this case could be lethal.

One of the key elements of the Left’s rap sheet on me is that I supposedly fail to distinguish between “extremist” and “moderate” Muslims, but the real problem is that Muslims all too often don’t do so, either. Ibrahim Simpson and Nadir Soofi, the Islamic State (ISIS) jihadis who came to kill us all at the Muhammad Art Exhibit and Cartoon Contest I co-sponsored with Pamela Geller in Garland, Texas in 2015, were members in good standing of the Islamic Community Center of Phoenix. In January 2016, Abdul Shaheed (formerly Edward Archer) shot Philadelphia police officer Jesse Hartnett multiple times at close range. He was a member of Philadelphia’s Mujahideen Mosque.  The Tsarnaev brothers, who bombed the Boston Marathon in 2013, were members of the Islamic Society of Boston, as were many other jihadists.

What’s more, With 42,000 jihad attacks around the world since 9/11, numerous jihad plots in the U.S., and criminals quoting the Qur’an to justify their criminality, there is ample reason to be concerned about Islam. But to take note of such facts is “Islamophobic,” and so the CIS reported that the percentage of Muslim migrants to be given the next round of Diversity Visas would be much higher than it has been in the recent past: “This is up sharply from the FY 2020 level of about 18 percent.”

The CIS explained that “given our government’s reluctance to gather data along religious lines, this information is teased out of statistics dealing with the country of origin of the diversity visa holders. A more precise statement would be that, out of 43,129 expected diversity visas, 21,000 will come from five Muslim-majority nations (Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Morocco, and Uzbekistan), while 22,129 will come from the rest of the world, or so the most recent State Department Visa Bulletin tells us.” Iran? Yes, you read that right. And what efforts will be made to ensure that those coming from Iran aren’t going to engage in, say, kidnapping plots aimed at silencing Iranian dissidents? No such efforts will be made at all. They would be “Islamophobic.”

CIS added that “since there are 43 Muslim-majority nations in the balance of the world, most sending us diversity visa holders — and not counted among the five — it is clear that a majority of the lottery visas will go to people living in Muslim nations. These 43 nations sent us 5,746 lottery visa holders in 2020 and include Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, and Syria.” Meanwhile, “two heavily Muslim nations, Pakistan and Bangladesh, which used to provide large numbers of Diversity Visa Lottery winners, no longer do so as they have joined the list of major migrant-sending countries and are no longer eligible for the program.”

Aside from the possibility of admitting jihad terrorists, there will also be societal upheaval resulting from the admission of people among whom are many who have a vastly different idea of how societies ought to work from the one that Americans generally hold. The Qur’an calls for the beating of women “from whom you fear disobedience” (4:34). It allows a man to have as many as four wives (4:3), and these wives may be prepubescent (65:4). It allows for the sexual enslavement of infidel women (4:3, 4:24, 23:1-6, 33:50, 70:30). Will every last Muslim who enters the U.S. next year believe in and act upon those beliefs? Of course not. But some will. And the people who set these immigration policies will not be among those who will be forced to pay the price for them.

Congratulations to Traitor Joe Biden for reaching a new record in illegal aliens stopped by the Border Patrol. In August, the total on fiscal 2022 with one month left surpassed 2.1 million.

And yet again, the number encountered in one month surpassed 200,000.

Assuming that illegals continue pouring into the country, border agents will have encountered more than 2.3 million by September 30, the fiscal year’s end. And if he continues releasing them at the rate he has been, more than 800,000 will be free to colonize the heartland.

The Numbers

Border agents handled 203,597 illegals in August, a 1.7-percent increase from July’s adjusted figure of 200,195, monthly data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection show. 

Of those, 181,160 were caught jumping the border, while 22,437 were stopped at ports of entry.

Encounters in August bring the total for the fiscal to 2,150,639, a 24-percent increase over last year’s total of 1,734,686.

Agents are encountering about 6,439 illegals per day. If that pace holds up for September, they will stop another almost 200,000.

Frighteningly, Biden has released about 40 percent of the illegals. The administration is no longer providing monthly releases pursuant to the Texas v. Biden immigration lawsuit, but if that figure holds, then he released 81,438 illegals in August.

Monthly releases are as follows, and bring the total freed to disappear forever to an estimated 853,2035:

Since Biden Took Office

Bad as the numbers are for fiscal 2022, they don’t include those since Biden took office in January 2021 on a promise to open the borders and stop deportations.

Since January 1, just before Biden took the oath, border agents have encountered 3,697,289.

To put that number in perspective, 3.7 million is greater than all but the most populous cities in the United States, New York, and Los Angeles. It’s nearly equal to the population of Los Angeles, which is 3.85 million.

As well, more than 500,000 illegals have slipped past border agents this fiscal year, Fox News’s Bill Melugin reported in July. But still worse is the total, 900,000, since Day 1 of the Biden administration, when he virtually ended the enforcement of federal immigration law, an impeachable offense:

Biden is breaking at least two, if not three, immigration statutes by refusing to control the border and releasing apprehended illegals. He and Homeland Security Chief Alejandro Mayorkas might also be charged with aiding and abetting illegals, a federal crime.

Those facts, particularly Biden’s simply releasing more than 800,000 illegals the law requires him to detain, clearly show that the Biden-Mayorkas policy of open borders is not a “failure” or a result of their “incompetence.” It is not an unplanned disaster no one could have expected. 

Rather, what’s occurring at the border is deliberate, a planned invasion meant to flood the country with illegal aliens, whom Democrats hope will become citizens through an amnesty. Then they would be voters.

The goal: change the electorate’s demographics from majority white to majority-minority. If the subversives in charge of immigration can flood the country with not only enough illegals, but also enough “legal” immigrants — refugees and cheap foreign labor here on special visas — then give them citizenship, the electorate would presumably swing to the left and virtually ensure permanent Democrat power and totalitarian control of the country.

For their part, Republicans are discussing impeachment, which depends on their retaking the U.S. House and Senate in November’s midterm elections. “At least eight resolutions to impeach Biden have been offered since he took office,” The Hill reported in August, three of them related to his refusal to control the border. 

The question is whether the GOP can muster the courage to do what must be done. To stop the invasion, they must impeach not only Biden but also his immigration czar, Vice President Kamala Harris.

By removing both, the new Speaker of the House, a Republican, would become president.
