WATCH: American flags burned in protest of Netanyahu speech to Congress | LiveNOW from FOX

Protesters demonstrating against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu's visit to the US were captured on video setting fire to American flags and vandalizing statues in Washington DC. At least one demonstrator, whose face was covered, was spotted by FOX News carrying what appeared to be the flag of the terrorist group Hamas, while others were heard shouting "Allahu Akbar." At Union Station, agitators burned an American flag and vandalized a Christopher Columbus statue with the words "Hamas is coming." They also took down an American flag and replaced it with the Palestinian flag. Netanyahu delivered an address to a joint session of Congress on Wednesday afternoon, his fourth overall speech to Congress, the most of any leader. Rep. Anthony D'Esposito (R-NY) was in attendance for Netanyahu's speech and joined LiveNOW from FOX's Josh Breslow to discuss the address and the fiery protests around the nation's capital.

Imagine the outcry if a Jewish “influencer” had taken down the Palestinian flag somewhere. But beyond the accusations detailed below, no one will particularly mind this.

“YouTuber ripped as antisemite after defacing Israeli flag at NYC cafe, harassing customers,” by Deirdre Bardolf, New York Post, January 6, 2024 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

A controversial Muslim YouTuber who rocketed to internet stardom in street fight videos has been posting footage of himself harassing customers in an Israeli café and at a Starbucks in Manhattan, revolting some fans who ripped him as “antisemitic.”

Adam Saleh — who’s been seen in photos with Mike Tyson and Andrew Tate and was set to fight on a Jake Paul undercard last February before the match was canceled last minute — stormed Union Square cafe Blue Stripes and pulled down its Israeli flag in December.

“Free, free Palestine,” chanted Saleh, 30, as he and two friends paraded around the café in the Dec. 15 video, which collected over 50,000 “likes” before being deleted following The Post’s inquiry….

In the video, Saleh — a Brooklyn native whose parents are from Yemen, and who has 4.7 million YouTube subscribers and 1.5 million Instagram followers — turns to a huge Israeli flag hanging in the window of the coffee shop.

“I should take that off,” he says as he unhooks one corner of the flag, letting it fall to the side.

“You don’t have a right to do that,” one shocked patron countered.

“I don’t give a f–k what you say,” Saleh responds.

“You know they’re killing kids, they’re promoting killing kids,” he continues, repeating claims by the Hamas terrorist group.

Café owner Alon Kazdan, 49, said he put up the Israeli flag after the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks on his country, and now protestors come in every day to disrupt his shop.

“I get these people who come in saying, ‘Free Palestine,’ and cursing and doing whatever they feel like doing, you know, but I’m okay with it,” Kazdan, who is from Tel Aviv, told The Post. “I’m just doing it because this is who I am. I’m proud of who I am.”…

“It’s a flag that represents its people, it’s a flag that represents a nation, the heritage of the people, their traditions, their culture and it doesn’t represent a terrorist group.”

That sounds compelling until one remembers that this is an artificial nation and people with no distinctive traditions or culture of its own, created solely as a weapon to be used against Israel.

“Palestinian flag to fly over North Andover Town Common after Select Board approves application,” WHDH, November 13, 2023:

NORTH ANDOVER, MASS. (WHDH) – Dozens of people crowded into North Andover High School on Monday to voice their opinions during a lively Select Board meeting where a proposal to fly the Palestinian flag above Town Common was ultimately approved.

The request to fly the flag on the Town Common flag pole was approved after about an hour of public comment, during which those gathered spoke both in favor of and against flying the flag amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas.

“It’s a big deal for us to see the Palestinian flag that many of us think represents the attempted genocide of the Jewish people,” said Rabbi Iden Irelander. “It basically represents Hamas, since they are the elected ruling party in Gaza.”

One supporter said, “It’s a flag that represents its people, it’s a flag that represents a nation, the heritage of the people, their traditions, their culture and it doesn’t represent a terrorist group.”

This application came after an Israeli flag had flown on the Common for about a month following the Oct. 7 attack on Israel by Hamas….

“Anti-Israel protesters swarm Grand Central, splatter fake blood on New York Times building and set Israel flag ablaze,” by Steven Vago and Patrick Reilly, New York Post, November 10, 2023:

Hundreds of anti-Israel protesters calling for the elimination of the Jewish state stormed Grand Central Terminal Friday night, furiously banging and kicking at a locked entrance of the station that was forced to temporarily close over the rowdy demonstration.

The mob was part of a “Flood Manhattan for Gaza” protest that initially converged on Columbus Circle earlier in the evening, where they set fire to an Israeli flag and taunted a small faction of counter-demonstrators before marching through Manhattan and splattering fake blood on the New York Times building.

“We don’t want a Jewish state. We want ‘48!” the anti-Israel protesters chanted at the starting point, referring to Palestine before the establishment of Israel.

“Settlers, settlers go back home! Palestine is ours alone!” the crowd yelled.

“It is right to rebel. Israel, go to Hell!” others chanted.

Across the street stood a small group of Israel supporters. Bergen County resident Gregory Jachts, 56, said he found it “offensive that they’re here chanting for the elimination of Israel.”

“They were chanting from the river to the sea and that calls for the elimination of Israel and the genocide of the Jews,” said Jachts, who is not Jewish but has family in Israel….
