(Natural News) Not long ago when patriotism was proudly displayed by a vast majority of citizens and our cultural and societal influencers weren’t Marxist haters, U.S. corporations grew large and wealthy on “Buy American” pledges.

Walmart essentially grew its brand on such a pledge and ran commercials during the 1980s and 1990s touting, “Bring It Home To The USA.”

How times have changed.

Today, U.S. Olympians protest about “injustice” and being oppressed. Professional sports athletes take a knee or turn their back on the flag during the playing of the National Anthem. Hollywood is a cesspool of anti-American hate. Every white conservative who praises our country and loves freedom and liberty is branded by a thoroughly corrupt media as “nationalists” or “supremacists.”

And American corporations are now run by hypocritical Marxist shills who stump for tyranny while simultaneously making bank in a capitalist economy they claim to hate.

After the Biden regime announced in recent days that it would require all federal workers and contractors to get an increasingly ineffective and dangerous COVID-19 vaccine, U.S. corporations anxious to please their Democrat masters in Washington to avoid being regulated into oblivion are rushing to follow suit, requiring their workers to either get a vaccine or be endlessly hassled with weekly COVID tests and other mandates.

The Epoch Times reports:

The Walt Disney Co. and Walmart announced new policies late last week that will require nearly every employee working for the companies in the United States to be vaccinated against the CCP virus.

Disney’s new measure will give both salaried and non-union hourly employees across the nation 60 days to be compliant, the company said in a July 30 statement. Newly hired employees will also be required to be fully vaccinated before beginning employment.

“Employees who aren’t already vaccinated and are working on-site will have 60 days from today to complete their protocols and any employees still working from home will need to provide verification of vaccination prior to their return, with certain limited exceptions,” said a Disney statement, adding that negotiations are already underway with various union leaders that represent employees regarding a vaccine mandate.

“Vaccines are the best tool we all have to help control this global pandemic and protect our employees,” Disney claimed, which, of course, is complete nonsense.

Nevertheless, the livelihood of some 203,000 employees throughout Disney’s theme parks and media companies are going to be affected.

“Disney’s policy was announced as several big-tech companies, including Google and Facebook, said in July that every American employee must get a shot before stepping back into offices,” The Epoch Times added.

“We’re hoping that will influence even more of our frontline associates to become vaccinated,” said Scott Pope, a Walmart spokesman.

CNN reported on the trend as well, noting, “Corporate America is getting serious about vaccines.”

But others are going further, including famous restauranteur Danny Meyer; he will require customers to show proof they’ve been vaccinated or they won’t be allowed inside his New York City and Washington, D.C., establishments.

In addition to these companies, other American corporations that have hopped on the COVID vaccine bandwagon include Netflix, BlackRock, Morgan Stanley, Saks Fifth Avenue, The Washington Post, Lyft, Twitter, Uber and Goldman Sachs.

No doubt more will follow because that’s what tyrannical CEOs do.

“This is an American tragedy. People are dying – and will die – who don’t have to die. If you’re out there unvaccinated, you don’t have to die,” Biden said during remarks at the White House last month. He continued the propaganda push with, “Read the news. You’ll see stories of unvaccinated patients in hospitals, as they’re lying in bed dying from Covid-19, they’re asking, ‘Doc, can I get the vaccine?’ The doctors have to say, ‘Sorry, it’s too late.’”

He added: “You present a problem to yourself, to your family and to those with whom you work.”

Remember when America used to be the “land of the free?” Marxist revolutionaries are using the COVID outbreak to steal our liberties and never give them back.

The vitriol that school officials unleash against parents who hold traditional values is truly chilling. But it is extremely common, though rarely displayed in public.

At the May 25, 2021 Ludlow, Mass. School Board meeting, Superintendent Todd Gazda announced his resignation. This followed more than a year of pressure and outrage from parents and members of the local community over a toxic agenda in the middle school. The resignation came less than a week after the Superintendent and Principal fired Bonnie, an outspoken teacher who supported the parents.

At both that School Board meeting and the following meeting two weeks later, Gazda and Board members publicly attacked, demeaned, and demonized the parents, community members, and even a student who had spoken out. Normal meeting procedures were blatantly set aside, allowing for these shocking attacks.

Background: Pushing a toxic agenda on middle school children

The outrages started in late 2019 when lurid pornographic books for teenagers appeared in the school library and classrooms of Baird Middle School in Ludlow, Mass. The books had been brought in by the school librarian, a strange cross-dressing woman.

In late 2020, the situation got much worse. Teachers and guidance counselors at Baird took advantage of the COVID disruption to introduce radical “transgender” ideas to children. They persuaded children as young as 11 that they were “transgender” – and the school staff purposely kept this from the children’s parents.

Bonnie, a Social Studies teacher, was upset at what she saw and raised the alarm in February 2021. Parents and even some teachers were shocked and demanded the books be removed. But the school officials refused to take any action. Then, as the word got out in the community, the pressure led to the librarian’s resignation in early 2021.

MassResistance helped parents inform the larger community through a flyer, and people in Ludlow were livid at the school officials. In May, the Superintendent and Principal retaliated against Bonnie by firing her. They had to concoct phony charges, since she had a spotless 20-year record as a teacher.

School Board disallows direct public comment at meetings

During the COVID shutdowns, most School Boards and other government bodies around the world held their meetings online via Zoom. Members of the public would still be able to speak directly to the school officials during the public comments part of online meetings.

But the Ludlow School Board did not want to hear from angry parents. So instead of using Zoom, they held their Board meetings in their regular meeting room (wearing their masks). But they did not allow the public into the meetings; the Board met before an empty room! As before, the meetings were broadcast on cable-TV and the videos were posted later.

If Ludlow citizens wanted to register comments, they had to email them beforehand. The Superintendent would decide which emails would be read aloud during the meeting. This outrageous restriction – not being able to address their officials in person – only added to the anger of the parents.

Changing meeting procedures to lash out at parents

With the news that the librarian had quit and the Superintendent was about to announce his resignation, the School Board was extremely angry at the parents and wanted to lash back publicly.

So, for their May 25 and June 8 meetings, the School Board decided to deviate even further from normal meeting procedures. Usually, School Boards just listen to the public comments without replying. But now, if there were emailed comments from critics of the middle school situation, the Superintendent and/or Board members would prepare a “rebuttal” beforehand (attacking that person’s remarks) and read it out loud. We have never seen that done before anywhere. It was shameful, childish, and simply vindictive.

Superintendent Todd Gazda started off by formally announcing his resignation, adding that he had accepted a job with a local non-profit organization. (Usually, Superintendents leave to take a job with a bigger school system – and a higher salary. We’ve never seen one leave to work for a non-profit.) With accumulated vacation, his last day would be June 17, he said.

Then, during “citizen participation,” the Board read aloud one email. It was from Alex, a 10th-grade student at Ludlow High School, who (like many parents) was outraged at the abuses of children at the middle school and particularly Bonnie’s firing for exposing it. He pointed out that parental rights were being disregarded.

Alex said that staff members were pushing extreme ideas to children 11-14 years old. “This agenda has been trying to convince them to change who they are, change their sexuality and gender at an age that many kids don’t fully understand either,” he wrote. “The school committee ignores the concerns of the parents. You ignore us. You won’t talk to us.”

He ended: “So I ask, who will finally listen to the parents of this district? When will this be fixed? When can we have a discussion about this? Or will you just continue to ignore the people in this town who should matter the most to this committee?”

Right after Alex’s email was read, the School Board Chairman, Michael Kelleher, blurted out, “Most of that’s just baloney.”

Then Superintendent Gazda read aloud his prepared “rebuttal” to Alex’s letter. It was a shrill, angry rant that largely repeated the LGBT movement’s talking points.

Gazda stated that the issues Alex was complaining about – sexual books, pushing transgenderism on children without telling parents, etc. – are really about “inclusion” and “making schools safe.” These help children to “be free to be themselves.” Rather than stop these programs, he said, “we do not do enough … and we need to do more.”

He made the disingenuous claim that this is “in compliance with the laws and regulations of our state and the guidance of the Department of Education (DOE).” (MassResistance is not aware of any Mass. state law or regulation that requires this, and he grossly misrepresented the DOE “guidance.”)

He stated that such complaints amounted to “intolerance of LGBTQ individuals” and were in fact “thinly veiled behind a camouflage of parental rights” and half-truths, misrepresentations, and false accusations. (In other words, the parents were lying.)

He claimed that the schools are the true “safe place” for students – not their homes with their parents. He said this controversy is about supporting children’s true “identity” (i.e., homosexual or transgender) and that the school supplies “caring adults” where students can discuss “problems they might have.” He said, “For many students school is their only safe place, and that safety evaporates when they leave the confines of our buildings.”

Gazda said that the middle school will absolutely continue to help the children “express who they are” despite parents’ wishes to the contrary.

With that, the Chairman adjourned the meeting. But there was much more to come at the next meeting.

The June 8 School Board meeting: more vile attacks on parents

On June 8, 2021, the Superintendent attended his last School Board meeting.

In the “public comments” section, the Board again read aloud just one email. It was sent by a Ludlow father and mother of middle school children, and was signed by several other Ludlow parents.

The letter stated seven demands that the parents have regarding the middle school:

  1. Stop promotion of transgender and homosexual ideas to middle school children.
  2. Remove all destructive transgender and homosexual materials from the middle school library and classrooms.
  3. Establish a book review committee with parents, which would include library books, school websites. and textbooks.
  4. Stop retribution against teachers who expose these abuses to parents.
  5. Stop the hostility, intimidation, and harassment of parents who complain about these abuses.
  6. Instruct the Superintendent and school staff not to attack, shame, or demean parents and residents in the community because they criticize decisions by the School Board or school staff.
  7. Establish a policy that requires use of students’ given names and actual pronouns. We want all students treated with proper respect and dignity, with no attempt at coercion or manipulation.

These “demands” express normal and obvious sentiments parents hold for their middle school children. But they prompted a nearly hysterical reaction against these parents from the Superintendent and Board members.

School Board Chairman Michael Kelliher started by reading aloud his prepared reply - a nasty hate-filled rant, using numerous time-worn LGBT talking points. First, he repeated the claim that what the school did is supported by “state and federal law,” but he didn’t identify which laws.

He then said that it was just a “small group of vocal parents” who were attacking books in the library and were now opposing “the inclusive policies of the Ludlow Public Schools.”  He said that “the staff are simply doing their jobs” being “welcoming and supporting” to the children.

Kelliher said the Ludlow parents are actually under the spell of “outside groups” including MassResistance and which are “recruiting members” in Ludlow. (Of course, he ignores the fact that the entire LGBT agenda in Ludlow is fueled by outside groups, and earlier this year the American Library Association became very active pushing the sexual agenda in the town’s schools.)

Whenever liberals have no substantive argument, they call the other side “bigots” or “haters.” So it was no surprise that Kelliher called MassResistance a “hate group,” mentioning our opposition to the LGBT agenda and what he called “marriage equality.” His name-calling only reveals his own childish anger.

Kelliher ended by making the ridiculous charge that it is “MassResistance [that] is trying to change people’s identities, not the school staff.” He said that our efforts to protect children constitute “hateful rhetoric” and that we are creating “divisive battles” in Ludlow.

Then the Superintendent read his prepared rebuttal to the parents’ letter. It was mostly a repeat of the absurd points he’d made at the previous meeting. But he added:

Myself [sic] and other members of our Ludlow staff have been called evil, sick, twisted, and deviant. We have been accused of grooming students, implying we are pedophiles – for supporting an inclusive environment in our schools where all students can feel safe and supported.

Harassing phone calls have been made to our personal home phones and cell phones all in a pathetic attempt to intimidate and harass.

Actually, the phone calls were attempts by parents to set up meetings. The school officials had ignored the emails and calls to their offices. However, the terms “evil, sick, twisted, and deviant” seem appropriate in this perverse situation.

Gazda ended by characterizing the parents’ complaints as “prejudice and bigotry.”

Then Board Member James “Chip” Harrington spoke up. While the previous officials made remarks that were hateful and offensive, Harrington’s were just plain stupid:

I am all in favor of giving parents the right to decide how they’re going to raise their children. But if they’re going to reach in and tell other parents how to raise their children because it’s not in line with how they feel, then shame on them. You raise your kid how you want. But don’t start dictating to other parents how they should raise their kids.

This is exactly the opposite of what’s really going on. The parents have no interest in how others raise their kids. They simply want their own children left alone by school personnel. It’s a little frightening that Ludlow trusts someone as dense as Harrington to decide on school policies.

And he didn’t stop there. Harrington ended by saying that the parents’ letter is “inaccurate” because “there already is a process in place” to decide these issues. Yes, that’s technically true. But it’s a phony process where a bogus “committee” of left-wing faculty members is created to make a decision, and it always rules against the parents.

This is what the parents are up against!

Final reflection

You need to watch the two videos above (especially the second one) to appreciate how unbelievably offensive and repulsive these officials are. The three who did not comment were silent because they had nothing to add – not because they disagreed in any way.

Regular people – especially conservatives – make the same mistake across the country. They assume that these kinds of school officials and School Board members are basically like the rest of us, but simply “misguided” and can be reasoned with. Without exception, our experience has been the opposite.

These people are not normal. Normal people do not do repugnant and immoral things that can cause immeasurable emotional and psychological harm to other people’s children. Normal people do not lash out with this kind of unhinged hostility, hate, lies, and anger when challenged on it by constituents. The education system attracts some very, very bad people. We need to understand that and act accordingly.

Numerous medical associations have signed a statement demanding that health care professionals be forced to take the coronavirus vaccine as a condition of employment. Shortly after the letter was published, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) announced that they would mandate vaccines for “front-line workers.”

The only thing that will stop this “pivot” to coronavirus vaccine mandates will be loud resistance from Americans. Does your doctor belong to any of the signing organizations? Does your doctor agree with forcing people to take the vaccine as a condition of employment?

Mastermind Ezekiel ‘Mandate’ Emanuel

Spearheaded by Ezekiel Emanuel, Obamacare architect, University of Pennsylvania bioethicist and senior fellow at the radical left, Soros-funded Center for American Progress, the statement calls for “all health care and long-term care employers [to] require their workers to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.” Ezekiel Emanuel is also notably the brother of Rahm Emanuel, Chief of Staff to former President Barack Obama.

Emanuel is quoted in the Washington Post:

“We have reached a confluence where health-care workers want vaccine mandates, and government is responding,” said Ezekiel Emanuel, a bioethicist at the University of Pennsylvania who organized the joint statement from nearly 60 medical groups, including the American Medical Association and the American Nurses Association, urging every health facility to require workers to get vaccinated.

“I fully expect more health care employers — health systems, long-term care companies, pharmacies and others — will mandate their employees get vaccinated,” Emanuel added. “The nation will be better off for it.”

As a bioethicist, Emanuel and his peers are completely disregarding core tenants of biomedical ethics, such as those influenced by the Belmont Report and the Nuremberg Code (see below). Author Wesley J. Smith called out “Ezekiel ‘Mandate’ Emanuel” in an article at National Review:

If Ezekiel Emanuel thinks it is wise policy, the country’s preeminent bioethicist generally wants to mandate it. For example, he repeatedly called for mandatory national shutdowns. He has urged that all children be forced to have a flu shot every year. He also advocated that different levels of government impose vaccine mandates. He also believes that doctors should be required to perform abortions when asked, or find an abortionist for the patient if they have a conscientious objection. ‘Mandate’ should be Emanuel’s middle name.

Ezekiel Emanuel has been loudly calling for shutdowns and mandates since the beginning of the pandemic. In a shared OpEd at the New York Times on April 14, 2021, Emanuel wrote in part:

How can we increase vaccinations? Mandates.

Vaccines should be required for health care workers and for all students who plan to attend in-person classes this fall — including younger children once the vaccine is authorized for them by the Food and Drug Administration.

Employers should also be prepared to make vaccines mandatory for prison guards, E.M.T.s, police officers, firefighters and teachers if overall vaccinations do not reach the level required for herd immunity. Short of a mandate, these workers should be reminded that these vaccines have proved safe and are important not only for their health, but for the health of those they deal with in their jobs.

A Quick Guide to Bioethics

The four principles taught to every bioethicist are autonomy, non-maleficence [do no harm], beneficence [Act in the best interest of the patient], and justice as detailed in Tom Beauchamp and James Childress’ book “Principles of Biomedical Ethics.” These principles were based on the Belmont Report: Ethical Principles and Guidelines for the Protection of Human Subjects of Research. Bioethics students also learn about the Nuremberg Code.

The Nuremberg Code is the guiding principle for human experimentation developed in the wake of nazi atrocities. Before the 2020 pandemic, the Nuremberg Code was universally accepted among healthcare workers. The very first sentence of the Nuremberg Code says it plainly: “The voluntary consent of the human subject is absolutely essential.”

  1. The voluntary consent of the human subject is absolutely essential. This means that the person involved should have legal capacity to give consent; should be so situated as to be able to exercise free power of choice, without the intervention of any element of force, fraud, deceit, duress, overreaching, or other ulterior form of constraint or coercion; and should have sufficient knowledge and comprehension of the elements of the subject matter involved as to enable him to make an understanding and enlightened decision. This latter element requires that before the acceptance of an affirmative decision by the experimental subject there should be made known to him the nature, duration, and purpose of the experiment; the method and means by which it is to be conducted; all inconveniences and hazards reasonably to be expected; and the effects upon his health or person which may possibly come from his participation in the experiment. Vaccinate ALL Employees

The organizations that signed the statement ultimately want “all other employers” to require their employees to get the unapproved coronavirus vaccine.

“As the health care community leads the way in requiring vaccines for our employees, we hope all other employers across the country will follow our lead and implement effective policies to encourage vaccination.”

One of the signatories, the American Medical Association (AMA), boasts over 240,000 members. They have lost all credibility by going full-on woke. Serious physicians should take a stand and drop out of this vile organization, as well as any other that signed the statement to force vaccines on healthcare workers.

How corrupt is the education establishment? Stacy Monette, the Principal who fired Bonnie using phony reasons, was named "Middle School Principal of the Year" in 2020 by the Massachusetts School Administrators Association.

School officials pushing the “transgender” agenda in middle schools have become hostile and brutal toward those who refuse to comply.

A Massachusetts middle school teacher with a spotless 20-year record has been fired by the Principal and Superintendent. Her “crime” was informing the parents of a boy and girl what the school staff was doing to their children. In their zeal to fire her, they concocted a list of phony reasons that were easily debunked by the teacher’s attorney. But the firing still went forward.

In our earlier posts we described Bonnie, a principled Social Studies teacher at Baird Middle School in Ludlow, Mass. who prioritizes the well-being of students over any adult agendas.

In late 2019, Bonnie raised the alarm over the sexually graphic and explicit books being given to the children to read. Parents were angry and outraged. The school lashed back at Bonnie. The librarian filed a formal “harassment, bullying, discrimination, and hate crimes” complaint against her. It was completely phony – meant as intimidation – and went nowhere. And Bonnie refused to be intimidated.

Bonnie informs parents about their children’s “transgender” issues in school

Starting in late 2020, teachers and guidance counselors at Baird took advantage of the COVID disruption to introduce radical “transgender” ideas to children. They told children to decide their “preferred pronouns” and persuaded them that they might have been born in the “wrong” sex if they have certain interests. As children’s confusion grew, teachers would give them opposite-sex names to use in class. All of this was purposefully kept from their parents. Teachers were specifically told not to tell parents about this in at least one email that we’ve published.

In late February 2021, Bonnie saw that a sister and brother (ages 11 and 13) in the same family were now claiming to be “transgender” and seeking “gender transition.” She became very upset and informed the parents.

Both parents were extremely grateful to Bonnie – and were furious at the school officials for hiding this from them. The parents approached the Principal and (with the help of MassResistance) met with the Superintendent and demanded that this indoctrination be stopped immediately – and the people pushing it not be allowed near their children. (The school officials refused to answer regarding those demands.)

Harsh retribution against Bonnie

Bonnie did what any normal person would do. But the people running the Ludlow schools see the world completely differently – so they sought to stop Bonnie; it didn’t matter how. They took the necessary bureaucratic steps to fire her even though they had no legitimate reason for doing so. No matter. They concocted some phony reasons.

Bonnie is put on paid administrative leave. On March 19, 2021, Bonnie received a letter from the Principal notifying her that she is “being placed on paid administrative leave effective immediately for conduct unbecoming a teacher related to your inappropriate communications with the parents of a student.” The student is the 11-year-old girl described in our previous post [LINK] (though not her 13-year-old brother about whom Bonnie also informed the parents). This is the first step in the bureaucratic termination process.

Bonnie attends “investigative interview.” On March 25, an “interview as part of the investigation” took place. It included the Principal, a Ludlow school “compliance officer,” Bonnie, and a local pro-family lawyer who accompanied her. The teachers’ union would normally be expected to supply a lawyer for Bonnie, but they came up with various excuses why they could not. (At the meeting Bonnie also learned that the termination process was instigated by the Principal and the Superintendent.)

The Superintendent, Dr. Todd Gazda, made the decision, along with the Principal, to fire Bonnie. As we saw in early posts, he had no problem with the explicit sexual books in the school that Bonnie had complained about.

Bonnie gets a full-time attorney. After the March 25 meeting, Bonnie got a prominent attorney to take on her case. Frank McNamara is a former U.S. Attorney for the Massachusetts district and is very skilled in dealing with government cases.

Bonnie receives official “letter of intent to terminate,” listing the reasons. On April 16, the Principal sent Bonnie a letter stating “I intend to terminate your employment.” The letter listed several reasons for Bonnie’s termination.

Bonnie’s lawyer refutes all the “intent to terminate” reasons.

On May 17, Attorney McNamara sent a strongly worded letter to the school's attorney refuting every one of the reasons the Principal gave for Bonnie’s intended termination. This letter is very thorough and worth reading. Here are some of the highlights (with the page numbers in his letter):

Accusation: The principal states that Bonnie shared “sensitive confidential information” about a student’s expressed gender identity. Her action was in contradiction of the state Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) guidelines.

The truth: The DESE guidelines only apply to students ages 14 years or older. (Page 4.) The student was 11 years old.

Accusation: Bonnie’s action was against the direction of the Guidance Counselor.

The truth: The Ludlow Public Schools have never written or communicated any policy or requirement for Guidance Counselor approval of parent-teacher communications. Moreover, the American School Counselors Association (ASCA) has published Ethical Standards for School Counselors that advise that in these decisions, the rights of parents are the “guiding voice in their children’s lives.” (p. 6)

Accusation: Bonnie’s action was against the wishes of the student.

The truth: Records show that on December 15, 2020, the student met with Bonnie to discuss her gender identity issues. (p. 5). She told Bonnie it was difficult to discuss this with her parents. Bonnie offered to talk to the parents, and the child gratefully accepted. The mother subsequently sent an email to some of the child’s teachers informing them that the parents are getting mental health help for the girl and to “please allow us to address this as a family…” The school clearly ignored those wishes.

Accusation: Bonnie should have brought this up at the [school staff] Mariners team meeting on March 3.

The truth: The March 3 Mariners meeting was characterized by “unprofessionalism, disorganization, and chaos.” Further, during the time Bonnie was in the meeting, neither the student, the email, nor notification of parents was ever brought up, contrary to the Principal’s inaccurate assertions. (pp. 6-7.)

Accusation: Bonnie was untruthful numerous times during the March 25 investigative meeting.

The truth: Bonnie had no reason to lie. The interrogation was clearly an attempt at entrapment. (p. 3). The questions were purposefully vague and misleading, using words that could have multiple meanings. Plus, Bonnie was not allowed access to her school records which would aid in her recollection of where she sent emails, etc. (Attorney McNamara addresses this in detail; pp. 7-10.)

Accusation: Bonnie “violated state law and regulations regarding student records/privacy.”

The truth: The Principal simply made this vague statement. She has never cited specifically which state law and regulations Bonnie has violated. (p. 10.)

Accusation: Bonnie violated the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

The truth: FERPA encompasses only an “eligible student,” defined as a person 18 years of age or older. Plus, the whole legislative thrust of FERPA is designed to extend rights to parents with respect to their children’s educational records. Its intent is not to enable school administrators to usurp those rights. (p. 11)

In sum, Attorney McNamara said that the parents had an absolute legal right to the student information conveyed to them by Bonnie.

The school administration goes forward anyway and fires Bonnie

On May 19, 2021, two days after receiving Attorney McNamara’s letter, the Principal sent Bonnie an official termination letter. The letter listed all the reasons included previously – which had been convincingly debunked by McNamara in his letter.

Obviously, the anger and zeal of the Principal and Superintendent to get rid of Bonnie was paramount in their minds. They clearly do not care about the cost of an expensive lawsuit that will be borne by the taxpayers of Ludlow – which the school system will surely lose.

Final reflection

The irrationality of this action against a good teacher – and the sloppy, juvenile way that these supposedly “professional” school officials are going about it – may surprise many parents. As Attorney McNamara observed, “This is not an illustration of first-rate minds at work.” But unfortunately, in today’s public education world, it is surely more the norm than the exception. And worse, as you will see, the Ludlow School Board is in full support of this lunacy.

We all need to stand up and resist this sort of action wherever we encounter it. The Ludlow parents and Bonnie are doing that!

GRANTS PASS, OREGON: Educators Fired for Opposing Transgender Orthodoxy

Oregon School Threatens Termination Against Teachers for Speaking Out Against Gender Confusion

Two educators in Grants Pass, Ore., lost their jobs amid outrage that they had the temerity to oppose transgender orthodoxy on bathrooms and pronouns. The teachers supported a compromise position, but students demanded their removal–and the school board obliged. The educators have already filed a lawsuit claiming the school board violated their First Amendment rights.

Rachel Damiano, the former assistant principal at North Middle School, and Katie Medart, a former science teacher at the same school, both supported the “I Resolve” movement, seeking a biology-based compromise solution to radical transgender demands. They opposed the Orwellian “Equality Act” and supported a resolution upholding the binary of biological sex, urging an anatomical designation for shared public-school restrooms and locker rooms (with private accommodation for transgender students), and free speech protections for teachers and staff regarding transgender pronouns.

“We recognize that, excepting very rare scientifically-demonstrable medical conditions, there are two anatomical gender presentations, male and female,” the resolution states.  “Shared public-school restrooms and locker rooms, previously designated by ‘gender’ (e.g. ‘boys’ and ‘girls’ designations) could be re-designated as ‘anatomically male or ‘anatomically female spaces to only be used by persons matching the anatomical designation of the spaces as consistent with the purpose for which the spaces are built.”

“For any person who is not comfortable using their anatomically correct space, they may request access to a private restroom or locker room space, including designated staff spaces, to the extent that such spaces exist and are available,” the resolution allows.

The resolution also defends free speech while attempting to grant students who identify as transgender the right to request specific pronouns and name use.

“A student may, with parent permission, request to be called by a derivative of their legal name but it will not be mandated that students or staff be required to call the student by their preferred name,” the resolution states. “A student may, with parent permission, request to be referred to with preferred pronouns, but it will not be mandated that students or staff be required to use the preferred pronouns.”

Grants Pass School District 7 placed both Damiano and Medart on leave after they shared the resolution on social media in April. The district released a statement insisting that the social media posts “were not approved or endorsed” by the district.

“Grants Pass School District 7 is committed to providing a welcoming and safe learning environment for all students, including our LGBTQ students. In Grants Pass schools, we ALL belong, regardless of race, religion, gender, sex, sexual orientation or ability,” the district declared.

Damiano and Medart did not oppose a “welcoming and safe learning environment” for “LGBTQ students.” In fact, their compromise arguably better reflects both the diversity of student and staff views and the privacy concerns many students likely have. In a statement, the educators declared themselves to be in support of “ALL students,” in favor of “protecting each individual’s freedom of speech,” and supportive of “parental rights and involvement in their child’s educational and personal journey.”

Many transgender activists have dismissed or demonized bathroom and changing room privacy concerns, and many have undermined parental rights, encouraging schools to teach gender identity behind parents’ backs. Compromises like theirs represent an approach that takes many important variables into account, while activists often dismiss these and other concerns.

Yet Stephanie Eminowicz, an 8th-grade student and self-declared member of the LGBTQ community who has adopted she/her pronouns (suggesting that “Stephanie” may be a male who identifies as female), organized a student protest, demanding the school district fire the educators.

“I always thought that North was a place that allowed all genders and gender identities and sexualities and races and ethical backgrounds and religions,” Eminowicz said. “When I heard about it, it was just so shocking to me and I couldn’t believe that this was like the world that I was living in.”

So this LGBT activist can’t believe that people might disagree with transgender orthodoxy and present nuanced compromise positions? That says more about Eminowicz than it does about Damiano and Medart. The Equality Act, which Eminowicz appears to support, explicitly guts religious freedom protections, weakening the potential for the North to be “a place that allowed all… religions.”

In June, the Pacific Justice Institute (PJI) filed a lawsuit, alleging that the school district violated Damiano and Medart’s free speech rights.

“The Supreme Court has made clear that educators don’t check their freedom of speech at the schoolhouse gate when they accept employment with public school districts – they have as much right to speak out against district policies they consider harmful as any other citizen. The school district erred egregiously here in punishing Rachel and Katie for daring to take the stand they did,” Ray D. Hacke, PJI’s Oregon-based staff attorney, said in a statement on the lawsuit.

“Educators, like everybody else, have ideas and opinions they should be free to express,” PJI President Brad Dacus insisted. “This expression is protected by our First Amendment. Advocating for solutions they believe in should stimulate conversation, not subject dedicated educators to disciplinary action.”

Unfortunately, the school district decided to terminate both Damiano and Medart after a third-party investigator examined complaints that the educators had violated district policies by pretending to represent the school board while “politically campaigning.” Superintendent Kirk Kolb recommended termination for both employees, and the school board voted 4-3 to terminate each educator.

Around 65 people showed up to protest, supporting Damiano and Medart. Staff turned some protesters away from the meetings because of fire marshal capacity. Protesters chanted in support of Damiano and Medart from the front of Grants Pass High School, where the school board met.

These firings represent a gross miscarriage of justice, and PJI is right to take up this case. Perhaps Damiano and Medart will find some resolution in the courts.

(Natural News) The employees and clients of investment bank Morgan Stanley who have not been fully vaccinated against the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) will be barred from entering the bank’s offices in New York.

“Starting July 12 all employees, contingent workforce, clients and visitors will be required to attest to being fully vaccinated to access Morgan Stanley buildings in New York City and Westchester,” read an internal memo signed by Chief Human Resources Officer Mandell Crawley. The memo added that the vaccine mandate was put in place to speed up the process of reopening its offices.

Crawley said any employee, client or visitor of Morgan Stanley properties in New York will lose their privilege to access the building if they remain unvaccinated. He added that the “overwhelming majority of staff” have already reported getting vaccinated.

Before the release of this memo, Chief Executive Officer James Gorman warned its employees who were hesitant about returning to its buildings. “If you can go to a restaurant in New York City, you can come into the office and we want you in the office,” he said during a conference.

The company has already implemented “vaccine-only” workspaces in some of its divisions, including its wealth management and institutional securities divisions. These workspaces supposedly “enhanced collaboration and productivity.”

While Morgan Stanley is adding restrictions to unvaccinated staff, it is loosening its rules for those who have taken the COVID-19 vaccines. Vaccinated individuals no longer have to fill up the daily health check form if they want to go to work in the office. This requirement was dropped on Wednesday, June 23.

Many Wall Street firms have already mandated that their employees return to the office. Morgan Stanley has not done so yet, but Gorman said if the offices weren’t filled up by Labor Day in September, “then we’ll have a different kind of conversation.”

To check the vaccination status of its employees returning to the office early, Morgan Stanley uses the VaccineCheck system. This vaccine passport currently operates on an honor system, but the bank may later decide to require proof of vaccination status using it. Other Wall Street firms setting their own vaccination policies

Wall Street banks like Morgan Stanley have been at the forefront of pushing to convince workers to return to the office. Its own vaccination policies are the strictest yet among these large banks.

As of press time, only one other Wall Street firm – BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager – has banned unvaccinated employees from entering its offices. Bank of America has made a similar policy. It will prioritize the return of vaccinated staff to its offices by early September. The bank said it will make arrangements for unvaccinated employees at a later time.

Earlier this month, Goldman Sachs made it mandatory for staff to disclose their vaccination status. It did not go so far as to ban unvaccinated employees from entering the building. But unvaccinated staff do have to wear masks and practice social distancing at all times. At JPMorgan Chase, disclosure of vaccine status is voluntary.

Back in December, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission said companies have the power to bar employees from their workplaces if they refused to get vaccinated, so long as these corporations provide medical and religious exemptions.

In a survey conducted in May by advisory and risk management firm Willis Towers Watson, about 72 percent of employers said they will not require vaccinations to return to the workplace. Instead, many plan to follow Goldman Sachs’ policy of requiring unvaccinated staff to wear masks indoors.

Tech giant Google removes its “diversity” chief because he’s a bigot, as he proved in a wildly anti-Semitic 2007 blog post

He hired and appointed persons of color to his administration; he kept his word to Israel and moved the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem (like every one of his predecessors dating back to Bill Clinton promised to do but didn’t); his administration struck historic peace deals between Israel and its Arab neighbors; even his daughter, Ivanka, is Jewish.

No, Donald Trump is no anti-Semite or bigot, but boy, many of his left-wing detractors sure are, as the tech giant Google just proved again.

The company recently was forced to dismiss its diversity chief over a 2007 blog post demonstrating massive anti-Semitism, Israel365 News reports:

Kamau Bobb “will no longer be part of our diversity team going forward,” tech giant Google announced Wednesday, after the surfacing of an antisemitic blog post its Global Lead for Diversity, Strategy and Research wrote in 2007. …

In the 2007 post, first reported on by the Washington Free Beacon, Bobb, then a research associate at Georgia Tech, shared his views on how Jews people should view the conflict in the Middle East.

“We unequivocally condemn the past writings by a member of our diversity team that are causing deep offense and pain to members of our Jewish community and our LGBTQ+ community. These writings are unquestionably hurtful. The author acknowledges this and has apologized. He will no longer be part of our diversity team going forward and will focus on his STEM [Science Technology Engineering Math] work,” Google said in a statement. “This has come at a time where we’ve seen an alarming increase in antisemitic attacks. Antisemitism is a vile prejudice that has given rise to unfathomable acts. It has no place in society and we stand with our Jewish community in condemning it.”

And yet…the company hired Bobb without checking his background? Come on.

In 2007, Bobb claimed that Jews have an “insatiable appetite for war” and an “insensitivity to the suffering [of] others” — failing to mention, of course, that Israel is constantly under attack and did not start any of the three major wars it has fought with its neighbors since coming into existence in 1947.

He went on to rip the Israeli government, which, at the time, was led by Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, adding that Jews everywhere should be “tormented” by Israel’s actions.

“If I were a Jew today, my sensibilities would be tormented. I would find it increasingly difficult to reconcile the long cycles of oppression that Jewish people have endured and the insatiable appetite for vengeful violence that Israel, my homeland, has now acquired,” he wrote.

“If I were a Jew I would be concerned about my insatiable appetite for war and killing in defense of myself,” he wrote. “Self-defense is undoubtedly an instinct, but I would be afraid of my increasing insensitivity to the suffering [of] others.”

He went on to make highly disturbing comments about the Holocaust — because of course.

He said that as a Jew, his reflections on “Kristallnacht,” also known as the “Night of Broken Glass” in Nazi Germany, which preceded the Holocaust, “would lead me to feel that these are precisely the human sentiments that I as Jew would understand; that I ought to understand and feel compelled to help alleviate.”

“It cannot be that the sum total of a history of suffering and slaughter places such a premium on my identity that I would be willing to damn others in defense of it,” Bobb wrote.

As a Jew, he continued, “I wouldn’t understand the notion of collective punishment, cutting off gas, electricity, and water from residents in Gaza because they are attacking Israel who is fighting against them. It would be unconscionable to me to watch Israeli tanks donning the Star of David rumbling through Ramallah, destroying buildings and breaking the glass.”

It’s incredibly ironic that the company which perfected the search engine couldn’t be bothered to look up its ‘diversity’ choice and learn more about him before putting him on the payroll.

(Natural News) An executive who works in the oil and gas industry to strategize succession plans for large corporations has issued a warning that companies all around the world are already anticipating having to replace their “vaccinated” workers within the next few years.

In the following video from Brighteon.com, listen as the woman featured explains how the corporations she works with know full well that those injected for the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) will more than likely die within the next three years, leaving employment holes that will need to be quickly filled:

“Companies need to plan for what’s going to happen as their staff move on … and succession planning is something that I help companies with, specifically recruitment services,” she explains.

“Executives are having their HR staff and their managers, superintendents, floormen, etc., go through and look at the staff that have received the vaccines, and they’re planning on having to replace them all within the next three years. What does that say to you?”

The woman does not name herself but does claim that she runs a company that works in succession planning. We are taking her word for it, but it does resonate with what French virologist and Nobel Laureate Luc Montagnier recently admitted about what will happen to jabbed people within the next few years.

“It’s got some of these guys literally in tears as they’re going through the company and literally checking off all of these individuals who have taken the vaccine, knowing that most likely within the next three years they’re going to have to replace that person,” the woman adds.

“This is a really big thing in the industry that I’m in. These massive gas and oil companies are looking to have to replace thousands of personnel.”

Injecting people with anything during a “pandemic” is unthinkable

Montagnier made similar comments during a recent interview, suggesting that once the injections run their course throughout a person’s body, death is pretty much certain. This could take weeks, months or years depending on the person.

“There is no hope and no possible treatment for those who have already been vaccinated,” Montagnier is quoted as saying.

Montagnier also railed on the idea of injecting people with anything at all during an alleged “pandemic,” calling it “unthinkable” because of the risks involved. Worse is what has been uncovered about how the injections function like a “slow kill” mechanism to end the recipient’s life on a time-delayed schedule.

In time, all the people who have been injected will start to see the effects of this when their immune systems are unable to ward off simple diseases like influenza and the common cold that become more prevalent yearly during the winter months.

Could it be that the effects of these injections will fully manifest in the fall and winter when the sun grows dimmer, temperatures grow colder, and sickness abounds? Many believe this will be the case, and there are only a few months that remain before we find out for sure.

“Once you realize that ALL vaccines are the head of pyramid schemes, everything begins to make sense,” a Natural News commenter wrote. “We are lied to about most everything. Vaccines and medications bring in tons of profits and power. All pharm products are dangerous and deadly.”

America’s Frontline Doctors (AFLDS) spoke to New York pharmacist Joel Wood about his dismissal for his refusal to administer experimental biological agents without providing his patients the ability to give their informed consent to receive them.

On May 5th, Wood called an anonymous ethics line at the Kinney Drugs corporation where he was employed to express concerns over both vaccine shedding and vaccination in youth. On May 9th he wrote an email to the corporation in which he stated: “I have been an employee for Kinneys for over 5 years. I have always felt that they have made safety for staff and patients a priority. However, I would like to know what the company is doing to address the safety concern of shedding of vaccine in the work place. It is a known phenomenon, and specifically mentioned in the Pfizer study on page 67 as a concern. It is possible to have contact thru both physical touching (which is not the concern at work) but also inhalation – this is a concern at work. The masks do not provide any safety. I would like to see this addressed in an email to the company by this weekend.”

Wood continued: “If there is not an email that addresses these concerns, I will forward my complaint to OSHA as a violation of safety.

“I am also concerned with the lack of patient safety and informed consent that involves the Moderna COVID-19 shot. I have heard from many staff and patients that they did not know that the shot was NOT FDA-approved. I know for a fact the staff who are administering this shot are not telling people that it is not an approved vaccine. This creates an issue when patients get their second shot and are informed that it is not approved and say, ‘Well, the first shot was’; no, it was not.

“I would also like to address the elephant in the room. I understand the need to follow advice from our regulatory governmental agencies. However when those agencies are wrong or make inappropriate recommendations, it is our patients that feel the brunt of this…

“I fear that Kinney is moving in a direction that is the opposite of our motto. Experience the difference means just that, if we do not change our behavior and inform the public the real science and health information that exists in the world, we do a disservice to the community and also ourselves as healthcare providers. We are now going to be administering a shot to children 12 and older for a disease that was called the common cold by the New York Times twice. We have no long-term data about this shot in children.”

Wood concluded his letter to Kinneys: “If there is not an email sent to the company that starts to address these concerns, I will be writing letters to OSHA and well as news organizations as a whistleblower for the crimes that are being committed. I do not believe that it is intentional, but we are acting against international human rights laws that discuss vaccines and discrimination. We have a responsibility to tell the public the reality about this shot, what it really does, that there is no pandemic, and that the numbers were inflated to make it appear like a pandemic. We need to inform them about the vaccine shedding that might be occurring.”

After receiving no answer to address his concerns, Wood addressed a formal complaint to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). On May 11th, he received an answer that read: “At this time OSHA has no standards or jurisdiction when it comes to COVID-19 concerns or complaints. We have been told to give all complainants these 3 numbers to contact if you so choose:”, listing the New York State Governor’s office, the New York State COVID-19 hotline, and the New York State Department of Labor COVID violation hotline. Wood was subsequently fired from his position at Kinney Drugs.

$400 Billion Stolen in COVID Unemployment Fraud; 70 Percent by State-sponsored Criminal Organizations

According to recent reports, as much as half of unemployment benefits paid out as part of government-issued COVID relief funds may have been stolen through fraud. And allegedly much of that money has left U.S. shores through the scheming of international criminals. In total, America may have been cheated out of more than $400 billion in fraudulent claims.

The reports — from fraud-detection services ID.me and LexisNexis Risk Solutions — are both shocking and damning. Blake Hall, CEO of ID.me told Axios that America has lost more than $400 billion to fraudulent claims. As much as 50 percent of all unemployment monies might have been stolen, says Hall. And Haywood Talcove — CEO of LexisNexis Risk Solutions — estimates that at least 70 percent of the money was hijacked by impostors who ultimately left the country, much of the wealth ending up in the hands of criminal syndicates in China, Nigeria, Russia, and elsewhere. “These groups are definitely backed by the state,” he said.

Unemployment scams were rare before the COVID outbreak and Big Government’s response, which crippled the economy and then served as a pretext for creating money out of thin air to pump into the economy in an artificial attempt to prop the economy back up. In those hard-to-recall “before” times, unemployment claims were both rare and short-lived. There was precious little margin from which criminal syndicates could carve themselves out a large enough profit to make these types of scams a worthwhile endeavor.

But with long-term unemployment payments now being issued on a massive scale, criminals are seeing an opportunity to cash in. Add to that the simple fact that — like nearly everything else related to government handling of COVID over the past year — states were unprepared for unemployment claims on a gigantic scale never before seen.

The sheer numbers of unemployment claims overwhelmed the system, and the typical checks and balances in place to weed out fraud — especially on any large scale at all — fell apart. The result is state-sponsored criminal organizations around the world cashing in on a financial stimulus plan Democrats told America we needed because of a financial crisis they created. But as this writer covered in a previous article, much of the “stimulus” was never necessary anyway.

As the earlier article shows, 65 to 70 percent of the past two stimulus payments are sitting — unspent and unneeded — in consumers’ checking and savings accounts.

And while unemployment is supposed to provide relief for those who, through no fault of their own, have lost their jobs, the principle still applies. Government created a crisis then produced money out of thin air to “solve” the crisis. Par for the course, government could not be bothered to keep up with that newly created money.

And while this will not immediately affect Americans, in the intermediate future, it will devalue the dollar. Things may be picking up right now, but that is because the market has not had time to adjust to all those trillions of newly created dollars. And as the stolen hundreds of billions makes its way back home for payment, Americans will see the true cost of printing money like mad men.

Perhaps the real crime is not that $400 billion in unemployment was stolen, but that it was created in the first place.

In the latest lachrymose tale of “migrants” at the border from NBC News, you might say the lead flew under the radar: The Biden administration is using commercial airlines to flood the heartland with illegal aliens and push forward the so-called Great Replacement of white Americans with Third World immigrants.

Border authorities released as many as 50,000 illegals in April because their facilities are packed to the rafters with “migrants.”

As well, NBC let another cat out of the bag without knowing it. The illegals aren’t jumping the border because they are running from violence and persecution. They’re coming for jobs and free stuff.

The Data

Cutting through the story’s melodramatic interviews and ignoring the pathos-inducing photographs, a reader will get these facts:

  • “15 single adult men who had been caught crossing the border a few days earlier were released to a nearby shelter, where they waited for flights and buses that would take them to cities across the U.S.”
  • “17 percent of all families and single adults apprehended by [Rio Grande Valley Border Sectors agents] this year have been released into the U.S.” 
  • “Borderwide, about 15 percent of single adults and 65 percent of families are released into the U.S. rather than expelled, according to Customs and Border Protection data from April.”

Breaking down those last two figures alone shows the magnitude of what Biden and his leftist henchmen are doing. In April, CBP data show, 108,301 single adults jumped the border, along with 48,226 who claimed they were in “families.”

Assuming NBC’s percentages apply to border jumpers, not those who show up at ports of entry, then in one month alone, CBP released 16,245 single adults and 31,347 members of family units. If the percentages include those stopped at ports of entry, the numbers are even worse.

Since Biden landed in office, 464,965 single adults and family members have jumped the border. If NBC’s reported percentage of those released has been and remains consistent, Biden’s border policy amounts to open war on American cities.

Why They’re Coming

The point of NBC’s story is that some illegals are deported, and some aren’t. Thus, “under Biden, crossing the border has become a lottery for migrants,” as the headline says.

One of the 15 single adults awaiting a trip to Miami admitted that he didn’t come to the United States to seek asylum, but instead to find work and take a job from an unemployed American:

“Sometimes I ask myself why they had me and they deported others,” said a 20-year-old Nicaraguan, who said he left home to find work and was now headed to Miami. “And I give thanks to God.”

The unemployed American that he cheats out of a job won’t give thanks to God, but in any event, another illegal said something similar. “It’s very difficult in my country,” a Honduran woman wailed. “There’s nothing.”

In other words, she came for a job and free stuff. Taxpayers will pick up the bills for her and the 10-year-old child she dragged along.

Those confessions are not unusual. Almost all asylum claims from illegals are bogus, and a survey of illegals sent back to their homes found that almost 100 percent did not flee persecution or violence, but instead came to find work.

Earlier this week, Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas terminated former President Trump’s Migrant Protection Protocols, which included the Remain in Mexico policy.

That policy required those seeking asylum to wait on the other side of the border until their cases were heard.

A Cuban immigrant and visa fraudster, Mayorkas is Biden’s point man to flood the country with illegals and make them Democrats voters.

Once that happens, the country will be under one-party rule forever.

As for NBC’s story, jumping the border isn’t just a “lottery” for the illegals. It’s a lottery for Americans in the cities to which Biden is sending them. 

Will an illegal alien hired by a contractor murder a wife and mother who is home alone, or will he simply take the job her son needed to help pay for college?

Elementary School Teacher Placed on Leave After Insisting Biological Boys Can’t Become Girls

A Virginia elementary school gym teacher has been placed on leave after delivering a speech to his school board announcing that he will not “affirm that a biological boy can be a girl and vice versa,” according to a report from Fox News.

“My name is Tanner Cross and I am speaking out of love for those who are suffering from gender dysphoria. ’60 Minutes’ this past Sunday interviewed over 30 young people who transitioned but they felt led astray because of lack of pushback or how easy it was to make physical changes to their bodies in just three months. They are now de-transitioning,” he pointed out.

Cross proceeded to speak out about a new school policy, 8040, requiring staff in Loudoun County, Va., schools to use the preferred pronouns of students.

“LCPS staff shall allow gender-expansive or transgender students to use their chosen name and gender pronouns that reflect their gender identity without any substantiating evidence, regardless of the name and gender recorded in the student’s permanent educational record,” policy 8040 reads. “School staff shall, at the request of a student or parent/legal guardian, when using a name or pronoun to address the student, use the name and pronoun that correspond to their gender identity. The use of gender-neutral pronouns are appropriate. Inadvertent slips in the use of names or pronouns may occur; however, staff or students who intentionally and persistently refuse to respect a student’s gender identity by using the wrong name and gender pronoun are in violation of this policy.”

Another policy, 8350, instructs staff to “allow gender-expansive and transgender students to participate in such activities in a manner consistent with the student’s gender identity.”

“It’s not my intention to hurt anyone,” Cross continued in his speech to the school board. “But, there are certain truths that we must face when ready. We condemn school policies like 8040 and 8035 [sic] because [they] would damage children, defile the holy image of God. I love all of my students but I will never lie to them regardless of the consequences. I’m a teacher but I serve God first and I will not affirm that a biological boy can be a girl and vice versa because it’s against my religion. It’s lying to a child, it’s abuse to a child, and it’s sinning against our God.”

Fox News obtained an email from the school’s principal announcing Cross had been put on leave.

“I’m contacting you to let you know that one of our physical education teachers, Tanner Cross, is on leave beginning this morning,” Principal Shawn Lacey wrote. “In his absence, his duties will be covered by substitute staff already working in our building.”

“I wanted you to know this because it may affect your student’s [sic] school routine. Because this involves a personnel matter, I can offer no further information,” Levy continued.

The email did not explain why Cross was put on leave.

School Superintendent: Critical Race Theory ‘Isn’t Optional Anymore’

School districts across the country have pushed Marxist critical race theory, either by requiring teachers to take “anti-racism” trainings or by embracing the discredited “1619 Project” or by championing the Southern Poverty Law Center’s “Learning for Justice” lessons. Yet rarely have superintendents blatantly stated that there is no room for dissent from the idea that America is institutionally racist.

Yet in a Zoom equity committee meeting on January 28, 2021, Dan Grotting, superintendent of the school district in Beaverton, Ore., suggested that if teachers disagree with the anti-racism movement inspired by critical race theory, they should look for work elsewhere.

“I do want the message to get out there that this [anti-racism training] isn’t optional anymore,” Grotting said in the meeting, The Daily Wire reported. “We’ve waited for the willing, and if you’re not willing then maybe this isn’t the right place for you to work” (emphasis added).

“Maybe we can free up your future, because if we’re going to become an anti-racist school district, it can’t just be a few people, it needs to be everybody, to include our staff, our students, our community, eventually everyone,” the superintendent said.

This statement may violate teachers’ First Amendment protections, but Grotting’s remarks illustrate just how noxious and widespread this movement has become. Some on the Left equate any disagreement with “anti-racism” with actual racism.

The “anti-racism” movement traces back to Ibram X. Kendi’s book How To Be An Antiracist. Echoing critical race theory, Kendi claims that racial disparities are ipso facto proof of hidden racial bias or discrimination (regardless of civil rights laws explicitly forbidding such discrimination), and that people must choose sides. Those who support the status quo are “racist” while those who advocate for leftist race-based overhauls are “anti-racist.”

These ideas trace back to critical race theory (CRT), a Marxist attempt to upend society by claiming that America is systemically racist.

The Chinese American Citizens Alliance of Greater New York (CACAGNY) condemned CRT as a “hateful, divisive, manipulative fraud,” noting that CRT implies that Asians are “over-represented.”

“CRT is today’s Chinese Exclusion Act. CRT is the real ​hate crime​ against Asians” (emphasis original),” CACAGNY argued. “CRT appears in our workplaces under the cover of ​implicit bias/sensitivity​ ​training​. It infiltrates our schools pretending to be ​culturally/ethnically responsive​ ​pedagogy​, with curricula such as the New York Times’ ​1619 Project​ and Seattle’s ​ethnomathematics​.”

Even the Smithsonian briefly published a horrifying Marxist lesson on “whiteness” that “deconstructed” various aspects of American and Western culture, including capitalism, science, the nuclear family, and Christianity, as nefarious relics of white supremacy. The lesson also claimed that a work ethic, delayed gratification, being polite, and getting to meetings on time are aspects of the “whiteness” culture that must be deconstructed and rejected.

Marxist critical race theory inspired much of the destruction of the Black Lives Matter and antifa riots over the summer. While protesters rightly expressed outrage at the treatment of George Floyd, many of the protests devolved into looting, vandalism, and arson in which lawless thugs — acting in the name of fighting racism — destroyed black livesblack livelihoods, and black monuments.

The SPLC, a far-left organization best known for demonizing mainstream conservative and Christian organizations as “hate groups” and listing them alongside the Ku Klux Klan, pushes critical race theory in schools across the country through its “Learning for Justice” program. As of 2018, the SPLC claimed that over 500,000 educators nationwide use its materials. The program, long known as “Teaching Tolerance,” has pushed transgenderism for kids as young as preschool. It has encouraged teachers to teach kids about “microaggressions” in first grade.

Military.com reports that Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier has been relieved of his duties pending an investigation after he appeared on a podcast and criticized the rise of Marxism in the United States military.

Lohmeier served for 14 years in the U.S. Air Force before joining Space Force among its first officers and recruits. He has written and self-published a bookIrresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest and the Unmaking of the American Military. He appeared on a podcast, called Information Operation, to discuss the book on May 7. He was relieved of his duties as commander of the 11th Space Warning Squadron at Buckley Air Force Base in Colorado on Friday, May 14, by order of Lt. Gen. Steven Whiting. Public affairs made it clear that his comments are the reason his job now hangs in the balance.

“This decision was based on public comments made by Lt. Col. Lohmeier in a recent podcast,” a Space Force spokesperson said in an email. “Lt. Gen. Whiting has initiated a Command Directed Investigation on whether these comments constituted prohibited partisan political activity.”

Lohmeier’s temporary assignment in the wake of his removal was not immediately clear.

As an active duty military member, Lohmeier retains the freedom of speech on his own time. He may publish books. Books authored by military members may or may not be subject to review by the military depending on their content. He told Military.com that the military was aware he was publishing this book.

“I was apprised of the option to have my book reviewed at the Pentagon’s prepublication and security review prior to release, but was also informed that it was not required,” Lohmeier told Military.com in an email.

Lohmeier told Wood, the podcast host, that the beginning chapters of his book explore the history and foundation of the United States and how critical race theory — a study of how race and racism impact or are impacted by social and economic power structures and institutions — plays a role.

“The diversity, inclusion and equity industry and the trainings we are receiving in the military … is rooted in critical race theory, which is rooted in Marxism,” Lohmeier said, adding [that] it should be seen as a warning sign.

In the segment, Lohmeier said his book is not political, and is meant to alert readers to the increasing politicization of today’s armed forces, some of which he said he’d seen or experienced firsthand.

However, leaders may be afraid [that] if they don’t get on board with diversity training, they will face scrutiny, “or might not get promoted,” he said, adding that liberal ideas are welcomed whereas ideas from more conservative voices are criticized or silenced.

The subject of a “woke” military has come up repeatedly in the first few months of the Biden administration. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin ordered the Navy to conduct a service-wide stand-down in February to address what the Biden administration deems “radicalism” within the ranks. The training to which the Navy subjected sailors during the stand-down was overtly political and partisan, according to sailors who spoke out against it.

The training we received this month was rushed through in the wake of the Washington, D.C., riot. The course, which was given in a PowerPoint deck, included a slide defining “extremism.” One would expect a broad, catch-all phrase that makes it clear that any radical activity undermining our nation or promoting criminal activity would not be tolerable.

But that would be wrong. Extremism was narrowly defined as “supremacist” beliefs only. That’s it. Nothing else. Nothing about anarchism, nothing about any group that might be found on the left. Everyone in the room – of every race, incidentally – had a collective hush as the chilling effect of this clearly biased definition dawned on our team. As one person on our team put it, “Why does the DoD only care about one kind of extremism? Why do they refuse to talk about antifa? Sailors even had to repeat the oath of office that they take when they first join the service. That oath calls on military members to “defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” Marxism is a belief system that is utterly incompatible with the U.S. Constitution.

Pentagon spokesman John Kirby recently used his position to attack Fox News host Tucker Carlson for expressing his views of recent changes to military policy, and the official Pentagon news website piled on with a poorly written, juvenile attack against Carlson claiming that Kirby “smote” Carlson. That story is still live on the Pentagon’s official news website. It claims that the U.S. military’s strength derives primarily from its “diversity,” not its commitment to defend America’s people and values, its unity, its training, its innovation, its tactics, its equipment, or the quality of members who choose to serve in the all-volunteer forces.

Joe Biden never served in the military. He has been a politician for nearly 50 years. One of his sons did serve honorably but the other, Hunter Biden, had strings pulled to get him an officer position in the Navy. Hunter Biden wasted that opportunity, failed a cocaine test, and was booted from the military. The nature of his discharge has still not been disclosed.

Having served on active duty in the Air Force myself, nothing about the first months of the Biden administration disturbs me more than the politicization of the military. After the shut down of the Keystone and Colonial pipelines, Democrats are moving to close another oil and gas pipeline in Michigan.

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer ordered a Canadian energy company to close its Line 5 pipeline that has a segment running through Michigan.

“Line 5 delivers nearly half of the oil needs of both Ontario and Quebec, as well as propane for the state of Michigan,” reported The Guardian. “Earlier this month, Canada’s natural resources minister said the continued operation of the pipeline was ‘non-negotiable’ and warned that in addition to thousands of job losses, a shutdown would require 800 tanker rail cars and 2,000 trucks each day to move oil.”

Ironically, Canadian officials are pushing back on Whitmer’s order to shut the pipeline down by May 12, and she doesn’t have the authority to do so according to the 1977 Transit Pipelines Treaty between Canada and the United States.

“Regardless of what the state of Michigan may or may not want to do, the treaty is binding on the United States as a whole,” international trade lawyer Lawrence Herman said. “It’s a matter between the two governments: Canada and the United States.”

By shutting down another pipeline, Democrats like Whitmer are moving America closer to a post-industrial world with reduced energy and manufacturing capacity – and a lower standard of living for all.

A glimpse of this was seen during the Texas ice storm in February in which residents lived with little to no power for weeks.

The end goal is to de-industrialize the US, which is why activists like Greta Thunberg never lecture India or China about their energy use.

Whitmer claimed the segment of Line 5 in question, which crosses under the Straits of Mackinac, was a “ticking time bomb” for an oil spill.

“The company says it has never experienced a leak in the underwater section of Line 5 and is currently working to tunnel beneath the lake bed to further improve the safety of the pipeline,” the newspaper added.

Astute observers would note that Whitmer, who notoriously ignored her own Covid-19 lockdown orders to vacation in Florida, isn’t entirely motivated by environmental concerns given that the pipeline shutdown would lead to the oil being inefficiently transported by thousands of trucks each day.

The cost, of course, would be passed on to Michigan residents.

Colonial Pipeline Hack Crushes Vital U.S. Energy Source, Fuels Panic Among Drivers; Company Refuses to Pay Ransom

Last week, a paralyzing cyberattack, allegedly conducted by a Russian hacker group known as “DarkSide,” shut down the entire digital network of the Colonial Pipeline, a 5,500-mile oil-pipeline system that transports an average of 100 million gallons of fuel daily between Texas and New York.

Dubbed “the most dramatic cyberattack on U.S. soil to date,” the ransomware assault on a network responsible for nearly 50 percent of the East Coast’s oil supply points to what conservative pundit Glenn Beck argues is a national security crisis.

“Between Russia, China, and Iran — which President Joe Biden is now trying to make another nuclear deal with — it looks like the ‘Axis powers’ of a ‘digital World War III’ are lining up,” asserted Beck on his radio program.

According to a report obtained by Breitbart, Colonial Pipeline has refused to pay ransom to the criminals assumed to be responsible for the cyberattack on a crucial oil system that services a large segment of the nation’s gas supply. The report reads:

[Colonial Pipeline] are working with the cybersecurity firm Mandiant to restore the data from backup systems where possible and rebuild systems where backups are unavailable, said the people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the matter is still under investigation.

[…] Mandiant quickly traced the stolen data to a server owned by a New York hosting firm, which over the weekend shut the server down, preventing any data to flow to the hackers, according to several people familiar with the matter. With that extortion avenue sealed off and with Mandiant helping to restore data and rebuild systems, “there’s no reason to make the payment,” one of the people said. DarkSide ransom demands can range from $500,000 to more than $5 million, according to Mandiant.

Since Tuesday, more than 1,000 gas stations in states heavily dependent on the pipeline, including Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, and the Carolinas, have reported shortages in fuel supply, igniting panic in drivers who are buying up the last drops of gas at filling stations across the Southeast.

“Gas stations along the Southeast coast are beginning to feel the pinch from the shutdown of the biggest oil pipeline in the US due to a crippling cyber attack believed to be orchestrated by a Russia-based criminal group… [as the] closure of the 5,500-mile Colonial Pipeline, which carries more than 100 million gallons of fuel from Texas to New Jersey each day, has stretched into its fifth day,” the New York Post reported.

Twitter users posting images of their experiences dealing with the impact of the fuel shortage tell well the story of present-day Americans, who seem to panic at every crisis, real or imagined.

U.S. Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm cautioned on Tuesday of a gas “supply crunch” affecting “the main spurs of the pipeline” that would continue to impact the affected regions even after the pipelines were fully restored and operating normally again.

“It’s about 70% of the supplies of North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and especially Southern Virginia are impacted the most,” said Granholm. “And so those are the areas with which we have the greatest concerns. And because of the fact that there’s not a whole lot of other supply.… Now, this particular pipeline also supplies other states, but there are other pipelines that supply their states as well.”

Granholm later told reporters, “Much as there was no cause for, say, hoarding toilet paper at the beginning of the pandemic, there should be no cause for hoarding gasoline.”

Yet Americans have good reason for concern, as restoration of the pipeline’s networks isn’t likely until the end of this week. The company told Fox News on Monday that segments of its delivery system are being brought back online in a “stepwise fashion.” 

“In response to the cybersecurity attack on our system, we proactively took certain systems offline to contain the threat, which temporarily halted all pipeline operations, and affected some of our IT systems. To restore service, we must work to ensure that each of these systems can be brought back online safely,” said Colonial Pipeline in a statement released Tuesday.

The chaos of the crisis forced many governors on Tuesday to declare a state of emergency, including Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R), Georgia Governor Brian Kemp (R), and Virginia Governor Ralph Northam (D). North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper (D) called for a state of emergency over the situation on Monday.

To address the challenges of the fuel shortages, and in the wake of a devastating U.S. jobs report, the Biden administration has spearheaded an interagency government response, including issuing temporary waivers for states to use non-compliant fuel to boost supply and greater flexibility for drivers delivering fuel, among other measures.

While the motives and identities of those who launched the attack remain unknown, the incident has rightly raised concerns about the national security vulnerabilities of companies that provide critical services to Americans.

University of Notre Dame IT, analytics, and operations professor Mike Chapple, a former computer scientist with the National Security Agency, in conversation with the Daily Mail, said that “systems that control pipelines should not be connected to the internet and vulnerable to cyber intrusions.”

“The attacks were extremely sophisticated and they were able to defeat some pretty sophisticated security controls, or the right degree of security controls weren´t in place,” said Chapple. 

Anne Neuberger, Biden’s deputy national security adviser for cybersecurity and emerging technology, told the Associated Press in April that “the government was undertaking a new effort to help electric utilities, water districts and other critical industries protect against potentially damaging cyberattacks.” 

“To ensure that control systems serving 50,000 or more Americans have the core technology to detect and block malicious cyber activity,” said Neuberger, “the White House has announced a 100-day initiative aimed at defending the country’s electricity system from cyberattacks by encouraging owners and operators of power plants and electric utilities to improve their capabilities for identifying cyber threats to their networks.”

Despite these recent calls for preventive strategies to mitigate unlawful cyber activity, Colonial Pipeline remains mostly non-operational, though some systems were reportedly restarted late today. The company estimates operations will return to normal in a few more days.

This latest national crisis, among a series of troubles plaguing the country, adds yet another distraction for lawmakers, and certainly opens America up to being more susceptible to a foreign attack, a favor we don’t want to grant any adversary, at home or abroad.
