As multiple roaring fires across Los Angeles County destroy thousands of homes, buildings, and other structures, cell service has dropped out across large swaths of the city, prompting Elon Musk to provide free Starlink cell service to residents in need.

At least five individuals have now died, stemming from the fires becoming intensified by the strong Santa Ana winds, and nearly 180,000 individuals have also been placed under evacuation orders.

The two largest fires, the Palisades fire and the Eaton fire, have so far resulted in at least 27,000 acres being consumed in the flames. Cell towers are now being destroyed, effectively killing phone service for individuals in disaster areas, prompting the SpaceX founder to step in.

Los Angeles residents without cell service who are attempting to reach friends and family will reportedly now be able to call whomever they wish, thanks to SpaceX owner and Trump-ally Elon Musk.

“SpaceX will provide free Starlink terminals to affected areas in LA tomorrow morning,” Musk announced in an X post.

Musk’s post was in response to a Fox 11 broadcast, which was only capable of providing a live feed due to his Starlink.

“The only reason you’re able to see us right now is because of Starlink. There’s absolutely no cell service at all in this whole area,” the reporter stated as a house burned to ashes behind her.

Musk’s Starlink system is also able to provide internet service, despite the lack of cell towers, by utilizing a “constellation” of thousands of satellites in Low-Earth Orbit.

Musk criticized the Democrat California governor for previously refusing to take preventative measures aimed at curbing wildfires, blaming California’s “nonsense regulations.”

“These fires are easily avoidable, but nonsensical regulations in California prevent action from being taken, so year after year homes burn down and more people die,” Musk wrote in an X post.

“My friend just texted me that his house burned down again. His old house also burned down in an uncontrolled wildfire several years ago. California could easily stop these massive wildfires, but refuses to put in fire breaks for bogus environmental reasons,” he added.

The Palisades fire, which has burned through nearly 27 square miles, is still 0% contained as of Thursday morning, according to Cal Fire.

The Eaton fire, which has claimed all five lives, also remains at 0% containment as of Thursday morning.

Musk, Ramaswamy And Republican Officials Urge House GOP To Kill Johnson’s Federal Funding Bill

The new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) leaders in Trump’s incoming administration, Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk, blasted House GOP leadership on Wednesday, actively urging Republicans to kill a controversial stopgap measure to prevent a government shutdown.

“This bill should not pass,” Musk posted on his X platform.

“Ever seen a bigger piece of pork?” Musk continued, referencing an image showing the legislative text.

Ramaswamy also chimed in and explained why the new measure is unfavorable in his eyes.

“It’s full of excessive spending, special interest giveaways & pork barrel politics. If Congress wants to get serious about government efficiency, they should VOTE NO,” Ramaswamy posted on X.

“Congress has known about this deadline since they created it in late September. There’s no reason why this couldn’t have gone through the standard process, instead of being rushed to a vote right before Congressmen want to go home for the holidays. The urgency is 100% manufactured.”

Meanwhile, Johnson (R-La.) suggested that the two DOGE leaders should take into account his difficult predicament, even though both Musk and Ramaswamy chairs have widely criticized the spending patch that leadership revealed on Tuesday night.

“I was communicating with Elon last night. Elon and Vivek and I are on a text chain together, and I was explaining to them the background of this,” Johnson said on “Fox & Friends” on Wednesday regarding the controversial new measure.

“Vivek and I talked last night at almost midnight, and he said, 'Look, I get it. We understand you’re in an impossible position. Everybody knows that,’” Johnson claimed.

The government will shut down Friday night unless congressional leaders act to stop a lapse. The new resolution on Tuesday would provide government funding through March 14th, 2025.

However, the 1,547-page continuing resolution (CR) is reportedly jam-packed with a variety of add-ons, including $100 billion for disaster relief, a one-year extension of the farm bill, up to $2 billion for the reconstruction of Maryland’s Francis Scott Key Bridge, which collapsed earlier this year after a cargo ship collided with it, and $10 billion for farmer assistance.

Additionally, Breitbart News reported that “The (CR) released Tuesday night — negotiated on the GOP side by Johnson — includes tens of billions of dollars in waste and includes funding for controversial items, including a pay raise for members of Congress as well as a one-year extension of the State Department’s Global Engagement Center (GEC), which funds organizations that censor conservative media.”

GOP officials continued to post their thoughts on the new CR.

Republicans are openly opposing Johnson’s efforts, accusing him of trying to push the bill through before the 118th Congress ends and lawmakers go home for the holidays.

The measure has angered a slew of Republicans, especially Kentucky Senator Rand Paul and Missouri Senator Josh Hawley, who argue that it should have been a clean CR and that many of the additional provisions should be discussed separately.

Legislators have also complained that they were not given enough time to read the lengthy document.

Johnson has been courting Musk and Ramaswamy since the 2024 election. Earlier this month, he invited them to the U.S. Capitol for talks with senators, he mingled with them both at Mar-a-Lago and again during one of President-elect Donald Trump’s UFC appearances.

“Remember, guys, we still have just a razor-thin margin of Republicans,” Johnson continued on “Fox & Friends.” “So any bill has to have Democrat votes. They understand the situation. They said, ‘It’s not directed at you, Mr. Speaker, but we don’t like the spending.’”

“We got to get this done because here’s the key: By doing this, we are clearing the decks and we are setting up for Trump to come roaring back with [the] America First agenda,” Johnson added.

At the beginning of next year, Congress will have a busy schedule as it must balance Trump’s plans with the unfinished business of federal funding for fiscal year 2025 before moving on to fiscal year 2026, which is due on October 1st, 2025.

Soon after the news broke, Trump logged on to his Truth Social platform and explained his thoughts on the matter.

“Congress is considering a spending bill that would give sweetheart provisions to government censors and for Liz Cheney. This bill would make it easier to hide the records of the corrupt January 6 committee—which accomplished nothing for the American people and hid the security failures that happened that day. The bill would also give Congress a pay increase while many Americans are struggling this Christmas. Increasing the debt ceiling is not great, but we’d rather do it on Biden’s watch. If Democrats won’t cooperate on the debt ceiling now, what makes anyone think they would do it in June during our administration? Let’s have this debate now. We should pass a streamlined spending bill that doesn’t give Chuck Schumer and the Democrats everything they want. Republicans want to support our farmers, pay for disaster relief, and set our country up for success in 2025. The only way to do that is with a temporary funding bill WITHOUT DEMOCRAT GIVEAWAYS combined with an increase in the debt ceiling. Anything else is a betrayal of our country,” Trump stated.

Delaware Confiscates $100 Billion of Musk’s Wealth

By Newsmax Wires    |   Monday, 02 December 2024 10:42 PM EST

A Delaware judge moved Monday to confirm its confiscation of Elon Musk's wealth that he created at Tesla — denying him a compensation package that would be worth over $100 billion in value today.

Musk has paid a heavy price for countering woke politics, making X a neutral platform, and backing Donald Trump for president.

Delaware Chancellor Judge Kathaleen McCormick on Monday ruled to confirm her January ruling that found Musk was not eligible for a 2018 compensation package then valued at $56 billion.

McCormick complained the Tesla package for Musk was the "biggest compensation plan ever — an unfathomable sum."

After McCormick had initially ruled that Musk had not gotten proper approval from Tesla shareholders, Musk filed suit.

Musk said he properly received board approval and later hit financial targets to earn the compensation, including benchmarks based on stock value, profitability, and revenue.

At one point, visionary Musk had driven the value of Tesla to close a trillion dollars during the compensation period. Today, Tesla holds a market cap of over $1.1 trillion.

After the judge's January 2024 ruling, Tesla went back to its shareholders to approve the Musk compensation plan.

In June, Tesla shareholders again approved the original $56 billion compensation overwhelmingly — with 77% of stock owners backing Musk and the package.

After the shareholder vote, Tesla went back to the Delaware court to seek its approval, only to find its compensation plan rebuffed again.

"Even if a stockholder vote could have a ratifying effect, it could not do so here," McCormick said in her opinion Monday.

"Were the court to condone the practice of allowing defeated parties to create new facts for the purpose of revising judgments, lawsuits would become interminable," she wrote.

McCormick saw little contradiction, however, in penalizing Musk for the wealth he created, while granting the lawyers who sued him on behalf of shareholders an incredible $345 million in attorney fees for their legal filings.

Musk was not happy by today's ruling and took to X writing, "Shareholders should control company votes, not judges."

Musk reposted other X posts critical of the ruling.

One repost stated: "Things to do in Delaware: 1) Leave."

Musk also reported fund manager Cathie Wood's X post where she called McCormick an "activist judge at its worst."

Wood continued: "No judge has the right to determine CEO compensation. Shareholders voted twice, overwhelming each time, to ratify @elonmusk's 2018 performance-based pay package."

Since the court's first ruling, Musk has been on the warpath with Delaware.

This year he moved both Tesla and SpaceX's incorporation from Delaware to Texas. He also moved Neuralink to Nevada.

Musk has also urged other companies to quit Delaware as well.

On X, Musk has stated bluntly, "Never incorporate your company in the state of Delaware."

The home state of President Joe Biden, Delaware has come under criticism for its close ties to the Biden family and its political agenda.

Last year, The Wall Street Journal published an article, co-authored by former Attorney General William Barr, lambasting Delaware for embracing far-left Environmental, Social, and Governance policies and attempting to push them on corporations.

And The Hill reported that major corporations are fleeing Delaware as a result of its highly politicized agenda.

Data suggests Delaware is seeing a drop-off of new incorporations. In 2022, the last year the state released data, Delaware saw a 6% fall in new incorporations.

45th and 47th U.S. President Donald J. Trump has announced that Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy will lead the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

On Tuesday, Trump made the announcement in an official statement.

The president-elect explained that the two will “work together to liberate our Economy and make the U.S. Government accountable to ‘WE THE PEOPLE.’”

Vivek and Musk have been strong supporters of Trump throughout his campaign.

Musk continuously worked to combat disinformation perpetrated by the Kamala Harris campaign on his social media platform, X.

Harris’ campaign often lied about Trump’s views on abortion, in addition to lies related to the Heritage Foundation’s “Project 2025,” falsely claiming that Trump was personally involved. Musk endorsed Trump after he survived an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Soon after he dropped out of the GOP nominee race, Ramaswamy voiced his backing and support for Trump. Ramaswamy also vehemently criticized Harris for her policies related to both illegal immigration and the economy.

Trump previously commended the young Indian-American entrepreneur, calling him “smart as hell.”

Pennsylvania Judge Allows Musk’s $1M Voter Petition Giveaway To Continue

A Pennsylvania judge ruled in favor of allowing Elon Musk’s political action committee to continue giving out $1 million per day to registered swing state voters who signed the petition, pledging to support free speech and gun rights.

Ronald of Clarkston, Michigan received $1M for signing our petition to support the Constitution.

Every day until Election Day, one person who signs up will be selected to earn $1M as a spokesperson for America PAC.

District Attorney Larry Krasner (D-Pa.) sued to block the contest in Philadelphia on October 28th, arguing that Musk’s process of handing out money was a scam “designed to influence a national election.”

“This was all a political marketing masquerading as a lottery,” Krasner continued. “That’s what it is. A gift.”

Judge Angelo Foglietta ruled that the contest was not an “illegal lottery,” as America PAC's lawyers successfully argued that the funds were given to the best spokespeople within the MAGA movement.

“The $1 million recipients are not chosen by chance,” stated America PAC attorney Chris Gober. “We know exactly who will be announced as the $1 million recipient today and tomorrow.”

“There is no prize to be won, instead recipients must fulfill contractual obligations to serve as a spokesperson for the PAC,” Gober added during the hearing.

Krasner responded by showcasing Musk at an October Trump rally, telling rally-goers that the money would be “randomly” awarded, rather than deliberately picked.

“That doesn’t sound like a spokesperson contract,” Krasner added.

Musk has already doled out $16 million since the giveaway began on October 19th, with the final winner to be announced on Election Day.

The Pennsylvania ruling was a huge win for the Trump campaign in a critical swing state carrying 19 electoral votes, which certainly has the potential to decide the outcome of the election.

Musk’s giveaway falls under a gray area under election law, which prohibits paying individuals to register to vote, however, in order to get the funds, voters only have to sign the petition, rather than register to vote.

The U.S. Department of Justice previously warned Musk’s PAC that the scheme could potentially violate federal law, but federal prosecutors have yet to take any action.

America PAC lawyers also argued that the two remaining winners will be from individuals living in Arizona and Michigan, which would mean the Pennsylvania lawsuit wouldn’t have an affect on the ability to continue the giveaway in other states.

“The only people protected by Pennsylvania law are in Pennsylvania,” stated Richard Briffault, a Columbia Law School professor.

Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner Sues Elon Musk Over Swing-State Voter Lottery

Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner speaks to a reporter. (Photo by Scott Heins/Getty Images)

SEE: https://www.oann.com/newsroom/philadelphia-da-larry-krasner-sues-elon-musk-over-swing-state-voter-lottery/; republished below in full, unedited, for informational, educational, & research purposes:

On Monday, Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk and his PAC in order to prevent them from disbursing $1 million daily to a registered voter in a swing state who signs their petition.

The petition simply asks people to sign if they desire secure borders, safe cities, free speech, sensible spending, self-protection, and a fair justice system in the U.S.

Additionally, the First and Second Amendments, which address American constitutional rights related to speech, religion, and firearms, are endorsed by petition signatories.

“America PAC and Musk are luring Philadelphia citizens – and others in the Commonwealth (and other swing states in the upcoming election) – to give up their personal identifying information and make a political pledge in exchange for the chance to win $1 million,” according to the legal complaint.

“America PAC’s and Musk’s lottery is plainly not a lawful lottery,” the lawsuit notes.

The complaint claims that the lottery is in violation of Pennsylvania law, which mandates that all lotteries in the state be subject to government regulation. Additionally, the DA argued that Musk and his American PAC “have not published a complete set of lottery rules or shown how they are protecting the privacy of participants’ personal information,” which he highlighted is a violation of Pennsylvania consumer protection laws.

Musk is accused in the case of “falsely claiming” that the winner was chosen at random, with the liberal DA asserting that “multiple winners that have been selected are individuals who have shown up at Trump rallies in Pennsylvania.”

However, after the story first broke, social media users noted that it is not abnormal for Trump supporters to sign a petition touting the same ideals that the Republican Party and Trump have openly expressed as guiding principles for how the U.S. should operate.

Musk has publicly expressed support for the GOP nominee, former President Donald Trump, appearing at a number of Trump rallies alongside the former president and large crowds of supporters.

According to the lawsuit, Musk and the PAC purportedly promised to give $100 to registered voters who signed a pro-First and Second Amendment petition, but the district attorney’s office stated that they don’t believe that any of those payments have been made.

CNN reported that the PAC has already received a warning letter from the U.S. Justice Department claiming that the gift may be in violation of federal election law.

Last Thursday, Musk seemed unfazed by the warning. The PAC declared two victors on Thursday but did not declare a winner on Wednesday.

The Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas is being asked by Krasner to issue an order that would forbid Musk and his political action committee from carrying out “any unfair or deceptive acts or practices in connection with their lottery.”

Meanwhile, the New York Times reported last week that Bill Gates “disclosed in private” that he donated around $50 million to a nonprofit assisting Vice President Kamala Harris in her bid for president, according to individuals familiar with the matter who spoke with the outlet.

At the start of October, the makers of the “raunchy” card game Cards Against Humanity offered to pay blue-leaning non-voters in battleground states $100 as long as they made voting plans and posted on social media that “Donald Trump is a human toilet.”

In addition, the Tufts University Career Center has similarly offered a pro-Harris initiative, “compensating people up to $400 to talk with their friends and family about voting.” Specifically, the program is “about supporting Kamala Harris for President, as well as candidates who are fighting for climate change, reproductive freedom, democracy, healthcare, marijuana legalization, and more. It’s a chance to help shape the future while making a tangible difference,” according to its website.

How a FOREIGN Nonprofit Is Trying to RUIN Elon Musk

The Center for Countering Digital Hate has dubious ties to the U.S. government and is trying to shut down Elon Musk’s X. Gabe Kaminsky, an investigative reporter for the Washington Examiner, was shown to have been targeted by this group in the Twitter Files. He also warns that individuals close to Kamala Harris have ties to the CCDH and that her victory may spell the end for free speech.

Musk Offers Cash to Voters in Swing States that Support Second Amendment

Elon Musk is offering $47 to registered voters in swing states for each signature referred to other registered voters who pledge support for the First and Second Amendments.

Presidential Candidate Donald Trump held a return rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, to show his resolve in the face of two nearly successful assassination attempts. Elon Musk, a staunch supporter of the First Amendment and a genius entrepreneur, spoke in support of the First and Second Amendments. Elon made this generous offer:

In appreciation for your support, you will receive $47 for each registered voter you refer that signs this petition.

Our goal is to get 1 million registered voters in swing states to sign in support of the Constitution, especially freedom of speech and the right to bear arms. The program is exclusively open to registered voters in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin and North Carolina. Expires October 21.

The petition requires first and last name, email address, cell phone number (to confirm the signer’s identity only), and mailing address. Once a person has signed the petition, they can refer others to sign.

The petition is available online. For the petition to be valid, the signer must be a registered voter in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, or North Carolina. You do not need to show who referred you to sign the petition.  This correspondent has signed the petition.

Elon Musk has placed himself squarely against former President Donald Trump in this election. It is a simple act of defense of the Republic of the United States of America. Elon is a naturalized citizen of the Republic. When Elon purchased X (formerly Twitter) in order to protect free speech and to fight censorship, he placed himself, and his fortune, in extreme jeopardy.

Elon Musk has been relentlessly attacked by the Biden administration. The current administration has used their power to hinder his operation of Space X by delaying permission for his launches. When the Biden administration held a conclave of electric vehicle manufacturers, Musk owned Tesla, the foremost electric vehicle manufacturer, was not invited.  When Elon Musk proffered a low bid for rural broadband delivery with Starlink, the bid was accepted by the FCC, then rejected by the Biden administration. Leftist influencer Keith Olberman has called for the Biden administration to deport Elon Musk.

Elon Musk has seen how this authoritarian abuse of power proceeds in other countries. If a Harris administration is placed in power, the enterprises owned by Elon Musk will be either be destroyed or co-opted by the government. The Biden/Harris administration has repeatedly ignored the rule of law. They have censored the opposition and conspired to illegitimately jail opponents. They have weaponized the Department of Justice to prosecute the opposition candidate, Donald Trump. They have been the most anti-Second Amendment administration in the history of the USA.

If candidate Harris becomes president with the Democratic Party in control of Congress, the election process will be altered to make a win by a supporter of the Constitution impossible. The Supreme Court will be neutered and/or packed with far-left Harris supporters. The current censorship will be magnified many times.

The Trump administration has already shown it will allow Elon Musk to maintain control of his enterprises and will encourage him to succeed in free market competition.

This correspondent believes those who sign the petition will be encouraged to vote. If you wish to show this correspondent, who is a registered voter in Arizona, as the person who referred you, you may put the email address of isherllc@gmail.com in the referral box.

Tesla CEO and owner Elon Musk has teamed up with T-Mobile to provide Starlink’s direct-to-cell service to victims impacted by Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton.

On Tuesday, Musk posted on Twitter that over 10,000 Starlink satellite kits have already been deployed to provide basic texting functionality.

“We have accelerated the rollout of Starlink directly to cell phone connectivity for areas affected by the hurricanes,” Musk wrote. “This is being provided free of charge by SpaceX and [T-Mobile] to help those in need.”

They continued, explaining that the satellites will provide emergency alerts and texts for all phones and carriers. T-Mobile phones have already been sent a notification to let customers know that they can additionally “text loved ones” and 9-1-1.

“The FCC has also rapidly approved emergency special temporary authority for coverage in Florida ahead of Hurricane Milton,” the company said.

To identify whether a phone is connected to a Starlink satellite, SpaceX will have one to two bars of signal and show “T-Mobile SpaceX” in the network name.

“Users may have to manually retry text messages if they don’t go through at first, as this is being delivered on a best-effort basis,” SpaceX also wrote on X. “The service works best outdoors, and occasionally works indoors near a window.”

On Wednesday, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) issued a warning regarding Hurricane Milton, which is expected to make landfall later in the day.

“A large area of destructive storm surge, with highest inundations of 10 feet or greater, is expected along a portion of the west-central coast of the Florida Peninsula,” they said.
