President Johnson of Wellesley College Stands Her Ground Against Antisemitism

REPUBLISHED, SEE: https://www.jihadwatch.org/2023/12/president-johnson-of-wellesley-college-stands-her-ground-against-antisemitism

While some university presidents have been unable to answer “Yes”” to the question “Does calling for the genocide of Jews violate your institution’s code of conduct?,” President Paula Johnson of Wellesley is made of sterner stuff. And she has just stood up to — denounced, in fact — the faculty bullies who want to make sure that the Wellesley campus remains safe for expressions of antisemitism. The story of this Daniel come to judgment can be found here: “Wellesley College President Denounces Extreme Anti-Zionist Rhetoric, Rebuffing School Faculty,” by Dion J. Pierre, Algemeiner, December 18, 2023:

Wellesley College President Paula Johnson has pushed back on faculty pressuring her to condone certain anti-Israel rhetoric on campus, stating in an open letter that the Massachusetts school interprets “some” anti-Zionist speech as harmful to Jewish students.”

Johnson, who has served as college president since July 2016, made the declaration on Saturday in response to a faculty letter demanding that she go on record saying that no criticism of Israel or Zionism should be described as antisemitic.

The faculty “demands”? It sounds like the Soviet purge trials of the 1930s. Andrey Vyshinsky, Chief Prosecutor, “demanding” that the Old Bolsheviks such as Bukharin, Zinoviev, and Kamenev admit to their crimes before their inevitable execution.Paula Johnson, we the faculty of Wellesley College, DEMAND that you declare that ‘no criticism of Israel or Zionism should be described as antisemitic.'” Really? What about those who chant “from the river to the sea/Palestine will be free,” which everyone understands to be a call for the destruction of the Jewish state, and its replacement by a twenty-third Arab state? Is denying the Jewish people, uniquely, the right to have a state of their own not antisemitic? What about the call for “Jews to the gas,” which has been heard at pro-Palestinian rallies in Europe? Gosh, sounds antisemitic to me. What about those who after October 7 have been telling us at rallies that they “stand with Hamas” and, keffiyeh-scarved, wave the flag of Palestine? Remember, they are expressing solidarity with, and support for, the terror group that sent 3,000 of its operatives surging into Israel on October 7, where they proceeded to behead babies, burned children alive, gang-raped, tortured, and murdered young girls, sliced off the breasts of women, gouged out the eyes and cut off the genitalia of men, murdered children in front of their parents and parents in front of their children? Surely praise of Hamas, after what it did on October 7, must count as antisemitism. What do you say to that, faculty members of Wellesley, by Zoom or in solemn conclave assembled?

“I want to be clear that Wellesley will not make such a statement,” Johnson said. “Some anti-Israel and anti-Zionist speech can, in fact, create a hostile environment for many of our students.”

Thank god for the no-nonsense reply coming from President Paula Johnson, a Daniel come to judgment by the shores of Lake Waban. She said what all sensible people know: of course anti-Israel speech can be so hideous in its endorsement of Hamas killers, or in its call for the destruction of the tiny Jewish state, as to create a “hostile environment” for Jewish students and, come to think of it, for all students who have retained their moral sense.

Johnson added that the faculty members’ own statements in their letter, which accused Israel of committing a “genocidal assault on Gaza,” are part of the problem….

When those faculty members accuse Israel of a “genocidal assault,” they are doing two intolerable things. First, they are saying something that is idiotic. It was Hamas that committed the “genocidal assault,” wanting to murder Jews, any Jews of any age or condition, whom they came across in their rampage on October 7. Although the faculty members won’t admit it, the IDF goes out of its way to minimize civilian casualties by warning those in or near buildings that are soon to be hit to get out, get away. The IDF does this through leafletting, messaging, telephoning, and the “knock on the roof” technique. When it wanted to warn Gazans to leave the north of the Strip because it would soon become a battlefield, the IDF dropped 1.5 million leaflets telling them to move south. It’s no wonder that Colonel Richard Kemp, who commanded the British forces in Afghanistan, has described the IDF as “the most moral army in the world.” Furthermore, the UN has said that since World War II, the average civilian-to-combatant ratio has been 9 to 1. The American and British armies have recently done better: in Iraq the ratio was 3 to 1, in Afghanistan between 3 and 5 to 1. But in Gaza, Israel has managed to keep the ratio down to an unheard-of civilian to combatant ratio of 10 to 7. This testifies to Israel’s success in minimizing civilian while Hamas tries always to maximize them. And as for the charge that Israel supports “genocide,” let’s remind the Wellesley faculty that in 1967, when Israel won Gaza by force of arms in the Six-Day war, the Strip’s population was 410,000. In 2005, when every last Israeli was removed from Gaza, the population of the Strip was 1.3 million. Does that sound like “genocide” to you?

The Wellesley faculty — that is, that portion of it that, filled with anti-Israel animus, that demanded that President Johnson declare that “no criticism of Israel is antisemitic” — has met a immovable and immutable object: Paula Johnson’s moral sense. They have been foiled by her clear-eyed answerand In their ranks, confusion worse confounded reigns.  That’s the consummation that was devoutly to be wished. May other university presidents go and do likewise.

REPUBLISHED, SEE:https://www.oann.com/newsroom/lawsuit-claims-9-year-old-girl-was-repeatedly-sexually-assaulted-on-boston-school-bus/

A Boston woman has filed a lawsuit against the Boston Public Schools District, a private bus company, and two of its employees after claiming her daughter was sexually assaulted multiple times.

The girl was allegedly raped by an 11-year-old student on the way home from Match Charter Public School in Hyde Park, right in front of the bus driver and monitor.

Due to their contract with Transdev, Match Charter Schools, Transdev Services, and Boston Public Schools are being sued by the family of the nine-year-old girl.

According to the lawsuit that Morgan & Morgan filed in Suffolk Superior Court, the assaults happened over the course of seven months in the 2022–2023 academic year.

“There is a nine-year-old child in Boston who was raped repeatedly on her way home from school over an entire school year,” attorneys Nina Bonelli and Alexander Zodikoff said in a statement.

According to the lawsuit, the girl reported the assaults to her two friends, who notified the school administration.

The bus company informed the family that no security camera footage was available when they requested it.

According to Boston Public Schools, the onboard camera footage had already been deleted when the report was completed, which was five months after the assaults.

A Boston Public Schools spokesman stated that a Match Charter School is legally required to look into any incidents involving its students.

According to the family’s attorneys, the nine-year-old girl was forced to drop out of school before completing the fourth grade due to physical and mental harm.

At MIT, More Than 800 Alumni, Faculty, and Staff Take Issue with President Kornbluth

REPUBLISHED, SEE: https://www.jihadwatch.org/2023/12/at-mit-more-than-800-alumni-faculty-and-staff-take-issue-with-president-kornbluth

President Sally Kornbluth of MIT, just like President Liz Magill of UPenn and President Claudine Gay of Harvard, fudged in her Congressional testimony, not clearly stating that calls for genocide were unacceptable on the MIT campus. All three claimed that “it would depend on the context,” whether such calls could be considered “bullying or harassment” and as such, punishable under their institution’s code of conduct. Both Gay and Magill later tried to mollify their critics by modifying their remarks. It did not work for Magill; she felt compelled to resign; Gay, despite a second, even deeper scandal, involving her newly-revealed extensive record of plagiarism, has been supported by the Harvard Corporation; no one wanted to fire “the first black president of Harvard.” Whether her quite visible protective shield will prevent her scandalous plagiarizing from sinking her in the end will be instructive to watch.

Meanwhile, President Kornbluth of MIT, the only one of the three who did not attempt subsequently to “clarify” her remarks before Congress in an attempt to mollify critics, has been similarly supported by the MIT Corporation. And judging by the alumni letter just made public, she has apparently done little on the MIT campus to deal with the rise in antisemitic rhetoric and harassment of Jewish students.

More than 800 people — most of them alumni, but also including faculty, staff, and parents of students — have signed the following letter, showing that many people — Jews and non-Jews — are most unhappy with how Kornbluth has dealt with antisemitism on the campus, and believe the MIT Corporation, in its vote of confidence, has chosen to overlook that record, treating her with kid gloves. More on this open letter, to which new signatories are being added every hour, can be found here: “An Open Letter From MIT Jewish Alumni and Allies on Campus Antisemitism,” MIT Jewish Alumni and MIT Allies, December 12, 2023:

Dear President Kornbluth, Provost Barnhart, Chancellor Nobles, and members of the MIT Corporation:

We are a growing group of MIT Jewish alumni and MIT allies writing to express our alarm over the Congressional testimony of President Kornbluth of December 5, 2023; the subsequent public relations fallout; and the continued failure of the MIT administration to address the growing antisemitism on MIT’s campus.

Calls for genocide of any group of people, including Jews, constitute bullying and harassment. Such calls originating from MIT’s campus should never be tolerated by the MIT administration and should instead be met with swift disciplinary consequences.

Yet, during the Congressional testimony of December 5, 2023, President Kornbluth implied that calls for genocide of Jews may not constitute bullying and harassment under MIT’s code of conduct, depending on context. Protecting violent antisemitic rhetoric on MIT’s campus, rather than Jewish victims of such rhetoric, sends a strong signal to the rest of the world that violent words of hate are acceptable, at least as they relate to the Jewish people. Understandably, President Kornbluth’s testimony was met with a public uproar….

A full list of signatories can be found here.

Will Kornbluth listen to this most modest and reasonable request of so many alumni? Or will she, buoyed by the Corporation’s vote of confidence in her, see no need to change her ways? Let us hope for the first, and fear for the second.

Profiles in Pusillanimity: Brown University President Christina Paxson Cuts Denunciation of Antisemitism From Speech

Omer Bartov, a professor of Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Brown University, has publicly denounced Israel as being responsible for the attacks carried out by Hamas on October 7. More on Bartov’s grotesque remarks can be found here: “‘Genocidal Intent’: Brown University Holocaust Professor Blames Israel for Hamas Terrorism,” by Alec Schemmel, Washington Free Beacon, December 6, 2023:

One day after the terror group slaughtered scores of innocent Israelis—including women and children—a Brown student group during an “emergency meeting” argued that Hamas’s attack was “justified violence” and “in fact a victory,” the Washington Free Beacon reported. Brown students have also sympathized with Hamas on Sidechat, a popular app on Brown’s campus that allows students to share anonymous thoughts with their classmates. Students have taken to the app to share comments such as “There is no such thing as an innocent Israeli.”

The Brown students who think that the atrocities committed by Hamas constituted “justified violence” and a “victory” have lost all moral sense. There is no reasoning with them. They should, however, be punished — all the way up to, and including, expulsion from the university — for defending, and even praising, what are clearly war crimes. There is, alas, no way to find the authors of the anonymous comments on Sidechat, where Brown students have been justifying the October 7 murders of civilians in such terms as “there is no such thing as an innocent Israeli.” They are, every one of them, including a three-month old, ten-month-old, two-, four-, and six-year-old children, guilty of war crimes and deserve to be punished.

Brown president Christina Paxson has also faced criticism for abandoning Jewish students—during a recent event, Paxson cut from her speech a planned remark denouncing anti-Semitism after pro-Palestinian students heckled her. A university spokesman said Paxson merely “abbreviated” her remarks in an attempt to wrap up her speech….

Profiles in Pusillanimity: President Paxson, apparently fearful of pro-Palestinian students who heckled her, succumbed to their menacing behavior, and cut from her speech a section that did nothing more than denounce antisemitism. Apparently even that proved too much for the pro-Palestinian crowd, that was unwilling to hear a word in defense of harassed Jews on campus and against antisemitism. Instead of sticking to her script, Paxson — not wanting to endure chants and catcalls — simply dropped her condemnation of antisemitism. If you were a Brown alumnus or alumna, would you want to support the university that is now being run by people unwilling to condemn antisemitism?

Bartov in his op-ed also urged Israel’s government to “define a clear political endgame that will create conditions to end this conflict.” While the Jewish state has identified that “endgame” as the destruction of Hamas, Bartov in the op-ed said the removal of “Hamas’s political and military control … may not be entirely feasible.”

The removal of Hamas as a military force looks more “feasible” every day. I was unaware that in addition to his work in “Holocaust and Genocide studies,” Omer Bartov had become a sudden expert in military strategy. I’d put my faith more in the IDF generals than in armchair warrior Bartov, as to what is or is not “feasible.” And all this talk about Israel “having to define a clear political endgame” is silly. Israel is in the middle of a most difficult war. Until that war’s goals are achieved — the destruction of Hamas as a military power and the return of all the hostages — Israel does not have time right now to come up with such a plan, which whatever it turns out to be, will depend for its adoption on the fractious Israeli electorate. Even if the current Israeli government has such a plan, it is not at all certain that it will remain in office once the war is over. And in any case, why would Israel’s government want to tip its hand in such a delicate matter? I suspect that Israel is hoping, with American help, to persuade the rich Arab oil states — chiefly Saudi Arabia and the UAE — to take control of day-to-day life in Gaza, and to contribute the tens of billions of dollars in reconstruction aid that Gaza will require. The Gazans will accept with better grace rule by other Muslim Arabs, especially if those Muslim Arabs are the very people pouring billions of dollars into the Strip. And the UAE and Saudi Arabia would have their agents right inside Gaza to make sure their aid money is not diverted or wasted. Both the UAE and Saudi Arabia hate and fear Hamas, which is part of the Muslim Brotherhood; the MB is a dangerous enemy of the Gulf monarchies. And both will be re ready to cooperate with the IDF in making sure that Hamas does not reappear in Gaza.

Maryland: Marxist Teachers Union official makes list of wealthy Jews she calls ‘gluttons and thieves,’ blames Trump

“Fear is leading to censorship. I hope this person gets anti-imperialism and joins us in the struggle … No war but class war!”

No Marxist should be getting anywhere near our schools, but today they’re in control. Meanwhile, this hate-filled creature epitomizes how the Left’s identification with the “Palestinian” jihad — which they cast as a struggle of the brown oppressed against the white oppressor — leads to open Jew hatred.

“Teachers Union Official Compiled List Of Nearby Wealthy Jews, Calling Them ‘Gluttons And Thieves,’” by Luke Rosiak, DailyWire.com, December 4, 2023:

A Maryland teacher is on leave while the school system investigates her for a string of anti-Semitic social media posts that included creating a list of wealthy Jews in her county, claiming they horde wealth while contributing nothing to society, and calling for “class war.”

Angela Wolf is head of the English Language Development department, which caters to immigrant children, at Takoma Park Middle School, in the most leftist enclave of liberal Montgomery County. Though she was temporarily removed from school, she remains a board member of the Montgomery County Education Association, one of the largest teachers union locals in the country representing 14,000 staff.

Her Facebook posts included a drawing of an Israeli tank pointing a tank gun at babies in a hospital NICU, and saying “Enemy in sight!” As the war wages against the Hamas terrorists who murdered over 1,200 Israelis on October 7, she has posted frequently against Israel. On November 16, she commended “bus operators at Dulles who refused to transport Zionists to the pro-Israel rally,” adding that “their solidarity with the victims of Israeli genocide should be commended.”

On October 28, she shared a post saying, “It is not a war — it is a slaughter. Israel determined to make Gaza uninhabitable.”

In December 2020, well before the conflict in Israel, she wrote:

Four of the five billionaires she named are Jewish except Saul, who happens to have a common Jewish name.

In response to criticism, she claimed — referring the the group of people with names like Rubenstein — that she had “no idea these billionaires are Jewish or that my word choice had an [sic] historic significance for the Jewish community. The diatribe against these two words has turned the discussion into a fallacious attack … People are angry at teachers a particular politician or the poor. I have read no attacks on the 1% … who have NOT ‘earned’ ‘their wealth.’”

She said “They use their accumulated wealth to further their own interests” and blamed their hoarding for students falling behind while teachers unions refused to work because of COVID. “There should be little question that staying home should NOT equal mental health crises for kids and communities angry because school staff also need to be home,” she wrote.

When someone else criticized her for her anti-Semitic posts, she responded by calling former President Donald Trump a “scumbag” and said, “Fear is leading to censorship. I hope this person gets anti-imperialism and joins us in the struggle … No war but class war!”…

Dr. Shmuel Katz Video: The Rise of Antisemitism on U.S. Campuses

How Arab countries shaped our academic discourse.

Dr. Shmuel Katz, a leader in Israeli advocacy in the United States, in a conversation with Arutz Sheva-Israel National News, discusses the rise in anti-Semitism on US campuses.

According to Dr. Katz, Arab countries have for decades strategic investments in education, where financial contributions to the tune of billions of petro-dollars lead to increased influence and representation within universities in the form of appointment of scholars who align with the values of the donors.

This, he explains, has shaped academic discourse and fostered a connection between universities and the interests of donor countries.

Anatomy of a Lynching: The Hillcrest HS Pogrom

A statement on the Jew-hating student riot at Hillcrest HS - and the immediate actions that need to be taken.

[Editors’ note: What happened at Hillcrest High School, as feral pro-Hamas students menaced a Jewish teacher for supporting Israel, is indicative of the Left’s constant modus operandi: once Leftists have tarred the offender as guilty of or aiding in “genocide,” any behavior is justified, and no bounds of human decency need be respected. The Hillcrest incident demonstrates in microcosm what will happen all over the country if the Left manages to consolidate its power: ideological foes will be hunted down and persecuted as class enemies, without the right of redress, or the right to be heard, or any rights whatsoever. The Hillcrest students demonstrate the values that leftist teachers are inculcating in America’s youth today.]

This is how it starts. On November 20, a mob of 400 students rioted at Hillcrest High School hunting down a Jewish teacher for going to a pro-Israel rally, threatening violence, destroying property, and forcing the teacher to hide inside a locked office to protect her life. As antisemitic hate crimes are on the rise in New York City, the Hillcrest HS pogrom broke out just days after a citywide pro-Palestinian walkout of hundreds of students calling for ceasefire, cursing the Jews, burning Israeli flags, and warning those who support Israel, “your days are numbered.”

Students were always at the forefront of Communist, Fascist, and Nazi movements of the past. We haven’t learned our history. Hitler was a minor figure in Munich in 1923 but rose to power in 10 years to become the Chancellor of Germany, and led the Nazi Party to impose its will with astonishing ease on Germany, the most highly civilized nation in Europe at the time, leading the population to willingly participate in institutionalized mass murder of nearly every single Jew in Europe. The sudden rise of Hitler, the atrocities of World War II, and the Holocaust did not happen in a vacuum. The precursor to Nazism and the Third Reich were the student led riots and pogroms attacking and tormenting Jews throughout Germany. This was the direct result of decades of indoctrination in racial nationalism in schools and universities, that Aryans were a pureblooded “blond, blue-eyed” master race and Jews were vermin, unfit to live. The fired-up students viewed Jews as outsiders, parasites, and evil moneylenders, that had to be wiped out, and they rioted targeting the Jews of Germany.

Kids today are carrying the torch for the far left. The same horrific hatred and antisemitism is rearing its ugly head again empowered by our weak, feckless government all the way from President Biden, Governor Hochul, Mayor Adams down to Schools Chancellor Banks.  Just like Germany in 1933, under the unstable Weimar Republic, our government today is hopeless to put an end to the antisemitic persecution and save the Jews. After the Weimar Republic, came the death camps. Saying “Never Again” requires an understanding of history.

Just like Nazi Germany, these radicalized young people are the product of decades of anti-American, anti-Israel, and Marxist indoctrination in the classroom, now known as critical race theory, or in Orwellian terms, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).  These kids are the same radicalized leftists who burned down the major cities of America, toppled statues, looted businesses, and injured hundreds of police officers in the Geroge Floyd riots, only today as one commentator put it, they wear keffiyehs. For these radicalized kids, who grew up schooled in CRT, rather than critical thinking, the settler-colonialist oppressor Israel is committing genocide against the helpless victims, the Palestinians.

Immediate Actions that Need to be Taken:

Expel radicalized student ringleaders to stop antisemitic hate. We call for action to hold those responsible public officials accountable for the antisemitic student riot, starting with New York City Schools Chancellor David Banks and the administrators of Hillcrest High School. The mob of 400 rioters was led by possibly 5 to 10 ringleaders who were directly responsible for inciting the mayhem. We call on Hillcrest principal Scott Milczewski, Chancellor Banks and the DOE to identify and expel these 10 or so ringleaders. Criminally charged ones over 18 for harassment and hate crimes. Expulsion, not restorative justice or temporary suspension is the way to set an example to the rest of the student body of the city to prevent further mob violence and potential antisemitism.

End the far left control of the UFT. The union is responsible for supporting the safety and welfare of its teachers, and historically has done so. However, the UFT and its president Michael Mulgrew were silent on protecting this tormented Jewish teacher. The UFT is terrified of its far left wing and chooses silence so as not to offend them.  The Movement of Rank-and-File Educators, a caucus of the New York City UFT, is a group of radical Marxist, anti-American teachers in control of the UFT, who have co-sponsored pro-Hamas rallies along with Democratic Socialists (DSA). We call on President Mulgrew to do his job, visit Hillcrest HS and speak up on behalf of his embattled teacher to ensure her safety and constitutional rights are protected. There certainly would be a vocal outcry if the same happened to any teacher of another racial group. He must insist on an addition to DOE policy, the protection of Jewish teachers from harm in every school, and the protection of their constitutional free speech rights and religious liberty. A teacher who chooses to attend a pro-Israel rally should be free from harm and fear.

Teach history so we aren’t doomed to repeat it. We call on every high school in NYC as a requirement to spend one week studying the history of antisemitism and the Holocaust.  This was a required part of the World History curriculum, but nowadays, the study of this fundamental pillar of our history education has been abandoned, and the consequences are alarming.  We learn history as the expression goes, so as not to be doomed to repeat it. Give our kids this essential background before they riot and attack Jewish teachers and fellow students out of ignorance amplified by youthful passion.

Fire Chancellor Banks Immediately. Overall, Chancellor Banks has been unsuccessful in improving our failing school system, but now he is guilty of dereliction of duty for his week-long silence after the student riot.  Only after the story “Queens HS Chaos” appeared in the NY Post did he break his silence and hold a hollow press conference. He stated, “This notion that this place, these kids are radicalized and antisemitic is the height of irresponsibility,” essentially scoffing at the urgency of confronting violent antisemitism and concern for teacher’s safety. He further excused the student mob’s hate and havoc, saying that they “feel a kindred spirit with the folks of the Palestinian community. This is a very visceral and emotional issue for them.” He downplayed the seriousness of the issue, saying the teacher was safe, as if to say the Nazi’s don’t really intend to hurt the Jews. He said that this is a “teachable moment” and that the kids should openly talk about it. But it is madness to allow the kids to speak their minds freely as they do daily on TikTok without adequate background knowledge. These kids need to learn history first to dispel the dark clouds of ignorance. Bank’s solution is the folly of restorative justice, instead of suspension, but a good chancellor would summarily expel the ringleaders and protect the safety and constitutional free speech rights of his teachers. Every teacher’s constitutional freedoms, of speech, religion, and assembly, should be protected like that of any citizen, which Banks has failed to do. Banks is totally incompetent and unfit for the job. He has to go.

Fire Hillcrest Principal Scott Milczewski Immediately. Principal Milczewski’s foremost job is the safety and security of his teachers and students, and in that regard he has failed miserably.  He was silent after his student’s destructive rioting until the media and chancellor came to shine the spotlight on his school a week later.  He knew there were problems brewing and did nothing to stop them. In fact, he was informed by the Jewish teacher before the riot occurred that she could be targeted. A week earlier, school safety agents were violently attacked by four students, and a day after the riot, an 18-year-old student was arrested for making threats of widespread harm and charged with aggravated harassment. With all this chaos in his school, the principal failed to protect the safety and constitutional rights of a teacher, whose life was threatened, and feared for her safety at school, therefore Principal Milczewski needs to be fired.

Shut Down Hillcrest HS. The high school needs to be shuttered until the safety of all students, teachers, custodial staff, medical team, lunchroom workers, and school safety officers are totally secured. Shut down the school and send the kids to other schools. There is no plan. You can’t deploy 50 cops to patrol the building forever.  The school can’t open after a riot of this magnitude until there is a plan in place to discipline the 400 student rioters and ensure the safety of all.

The sabotage of our schools and the youth of America by the radical left has taken place over 60 years. We can’t expect to instantly take back our schools and our country’s institutions after the notorious leftwing “long march through the institutions” has been successfully completed. But this is the start of a counter-revolution. The antisemitic riot at Hillcrest HS was very similar to the German pogroms, or violent attacks on Jews throughout Germany in the 19th century. They were led by angry student mobs shouting “Hep! Hep!” meaning “Jerusalem is destroyed.” They studied in the finest German schools and universities where they were incited to violence by radical indoctrination in the classroom to philosophies of German nationalist supremacy treating Jews as parasites and vermin living off their generous European hosts. This was a precursor to National Socialist (Nazi) ideology and the Holocaust.

History is doomed to repeat itself unless we learn our lessons, and start the counter-revolution immediately by stopping the spread of virulent antisemitism here and now. This is our Never Again moment.

Seattle Middle School Teacher Leads Students in Attacking Parental Rights Group Moms for Liberty

(Image by David Mark from Pixabay.)
On Saturday, Moms for Liberty shared images of a package they received from a Seattle middle school containing letters made during class attacking the parental rights organization and accusing them of "bullying" LGBTQ youth.

The package included a typed letter from Ann Christianson, a middle school social studies teacher and Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) Coordinator.

Dear Moms for Liberty,

Please read the enclosed cards from concerned middle school students in Seattle, Washington.

Sincerely,

Ann Christianson

Seattle Public School Middle School Teacher & GSA Coordinator

The included letters featured rainbow-colored messages. The students were clearly given some instructions as to what to write. One letter, written in pencil, reads, “Dear Moms for Liberty, stop bullying and excluding LGBTQ+ youth and families. It hurts people who just want to love who they love and be who they are. The oppressed are always the protagonists.”

Another letter, written in black marker, reads, “Dear Moms for Liberty, stop bullying and excluding LGBTQ+ youth and families. From a Seattle Public Schools student.” Yet another letter, written in green marker, reads, “Dear Moms for Liberty, stop bullying and excluding LGBTQ+ youth and families. Please and thank you. Sincerely, a trans student, Seattle Public Schools.”

For our VIPs: Preferred Pronouns or Prison? I’ll Take Prison.

Various common slogans are also peppered throughout the letters: “Love is love,” “Say gay,” and “Gay is slay.” Rainbows, rainbow hearts, and rainbow peace signs are also shown on the letters.

Another common theme between the letters is the use of broken heart imagery with a written message: "My heart when people are homophobic."

The Post Millennial reached out to Seattle Public Schools for comment and received the following statement

Seattle Public Schools is dedicated to fostering welcoming, inclusive, and identity-safe environments for all our students. We firmly uphold the rights of our students, staff, and families to express their authentic selves. We take great pride in our unwavering support for LGBTQIA+ students, staff, and families, which is reflected in our policies and everyday practices.

The statement also added that the material was sent  "...as an independent activity and not part of the school curriculum."

Moms for Liberty is not an anti-LGBTQ group. They are a parent rights group that, amongst other things, opposes sexually explicit materials being made available to young children in public schools. We’ve shown examples of the kind of content leftists want available to young children under the guise of LGBTQ inclusivity, and I can’t help but wonder if Ann Christianson truly believes that opposition to this material being available to young children is appropriate. The same can be asked of actor LeVar Burton, who, earlier this month, threatened Moms for Liberty with violence when he hosted the National Book Awards.

Muslim Stabs Children at Dublin Catholic School, Media Covers It Up

A 5-year-old girl was receiving emergency medical treatment.

What. Where. Why.

You won’t find any of those ‘Ws’ in any story that the media is interested in covering up, rather than covering.

Take the stabbing of small children at a Catholic school in Dublin, allegedly, by an Algerian Muslim. You can read entire stories about what happened in Dublin without a mention of these key elements of the story.

A FOX News story on the incident would read as quite baffling because it entirely covers the riots after this latest incident of Muslim violence without actually explaining why anyone might be rioting.

Protesters and rioters clashed with police officers and a police vehicle was set ablaze in Dublin, Ireland, Thursday evening after a knife attack that injured five, including three children.

According to Irish media outlet RTÉ, rioters attacked gardaí, officers of the state police force Garda, and set a garda vehicle on fire.

Okay, but why is this rioting taking place? What’s the connection between the ‘knife attack’ and the riots?

The riots came hours after a knife attack outside a school in the heart of Dublin around 1:30 p.m. A 5-year-old girl was receiving emergency medical treatment in a hospital. A woman and two other children were also injured. A 6-year-old girl sustained less serious injuries, and a boy was discharged from a hospital, officials said.

The media can’t tell you that the stabber was allegedly an Algerian Muslim and so it also can’t explain why people might be rioting. The result is a ‘Pravda’ story in which you can only understand things by reading between the lines and inverting the official denial.

Irish police said they weren’t treating the case as terror-related, adding that a man in his 50s, who was also hospitalized with serious injuries, is a “person of interest.” No further details about the man’s identity were released by authorities.

If you’re an average person, this whole story makes no sense. Someone stabs some kids and people riot. But if you’re versed in reading Pravda journalism, you understand that the man’s identity is very important… because the media and the authorities aren’t telling you who he is.

And the one thing the media is telling you, that the case is not terror-related, should be viewed with suspicion.

Nowhere in the story does it get around to mentioning salient facts such as the Muslim attacker targeted children in a Catholic school.

The attack occurred shortly after 1 p.m. near Parnell Square, just off the city’s main boulevard O’Connell Street. The three children, who were lining up in front of their crèche prior to the incident, have been taken to hospital. A five-year-old girl is in a critical condition at Temple Street Children’s Hospital. In total five people have been hospitalized, including a 50-year-old male suspect who is now in custody. Irish media reported that the police ruled out a terror motive. The Catholic school is an Irish language-speaking school called Cólaiste Mhuire, which means St. Mary’s College

And what were the rioters saying?

The area where the attack occurred is ethnically diverse, but predominantly working-class, and host to a major asylum centre as well as a string of hotels turned into refugee accommodations. Certain media sources have described the attacker as an Algerian national.

Shortly after 5 p.m., crowds of young men from nearby housing estates began to gather on the street where the knife attack occurred and quickly engaged in verbal and physical altercations with awaiting police.

Authorities were shortly overwhelmed by the mob with chants of “Ireland for the Irish” and “Get ‘Em Out” heard as mobs of young men began to rush police and attack squad cars. The badly outnumbered police retreated northwards with abandoned vehicles left to be burnt by the gangs.

Now there’s actual context and the story makes sense.

Whatever your political views, any reasonable person has to acknowledge that the thoroughly censored mainstream media version of the story makes no sense. There’s no context and there is no explanation. What, why, and where are sorely lacking. Rioters inexplicably clash with police after a stabbing. Why?

The level of media censorship is so extreme as to make it impossible to understand what’s going on. And that’s no longer media bias, it’s simply political censorship.

Rep. Nadler Votes Against Ban on Funding College Antisemitism

SEE: https://www.jihadwatch.org/2023/11/rep-nadler-votes-against-ban-on-funding-college-antisemitism;

Republished below in full unedited for informational, educational, & research purposes.

Rep. Nadler shows he cares more about antisemites than antisemitism.

Rep. Mike Lawler (R – NY) introduced an amendment to the 2024 Labor, HHS, and Education bill barring taxpayer funding of campus antisemitism.

The really simple amendment stated that “none of the funds made available by this Act may be made available to an institution of higher education that authorizes, facilitates, provides funding for, or otherwise supports any event promoting antisemitism (as such term is defined by the working definition of anti-semitism adopted by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance on May 26, 2016, including the contemporary examples of antisemitism cited by the Alliance.) on the campus of such institution.”

The amendment passed the House 373 to 54.

Republicans voted for it 218-1 (Rep. Massie) while Democrats voted for it 155-53. That means a third of the House Democrat delegation voted against an amendment barring campus funding of antisemitism.

Who voted against it? The Squad is no surprise. There’s the usual collection of leftists and Islamist-friendly types, Rep. Barbara Lee, Rep. Jayapal, Rep. Betty McCollum, Rep. Raul Grijalva, Rep. Judy Chu, Rep. Marc Pocan, and then there’s the J Street crowd, Rep. Jan Schakowsky, Rep. Sara Jacobs and Rep. Jerry Nadler.

That’s right. Jerry strikes again.

Rep. Jerry Nadler, a guy who balances a district with a lot of Jews, with a lot of anti-Israel votes, put up a tendentious statement attacking the amendment.

“To be clear, I am deeply concerned about rising incidents of antisemitism in our nation’s institutions of higher education,” Rep. Nadler began. Beginning with “to be clear” rarely leads to clarity or honesty.

Rep. Nadler attacked House Republicans for banning taxpayer funding of antisemitism instead of funding the “Office of Civil Rights” which has been largely useless.

He claimed that banning taxpayer funding of campus antisemitism was a “meaningless gesture” and “wildly counterproductive”. (If something is wildly counterproductive, it’s probably not meaningless.)

“Threatening to pull federal funding from the universities and college campuses that need our help the most is, at best, wildly counterproductive. Moreover, the amendment is so broad that it threatens to defund institutions that are working in good faith to fight antisemitism on campus. Under Representative Lawler’s construction, a university might lose its funding if a single student showed up to a single event with a single antisemitic sign—even if that student had no affiliation with the school. It should also be noted that Congress doesn’t cut funding to universities when individual students on campus use vile racist or homophobic speech. The scourge of antisemitism is real, and we have real work to do. Draconian measures like the Lawler Amendment are a step in the wrong direction.”

If you break down that flailing word salad of gibberish, Rep. Nadler is arguing that pulling funding for campus antisemitism would be counterproductive because colleges that platform antisemitism need help.

He falsely contends that “a university might lose its funding if a single student showed up to a single event with a single antisemitic sign—even if that student had no affiliation with the school”. The amendment states that the event itself has to promote antisemitism.

But that’s where Rep. Nadler shows his true colors.

He worries that an event might be wrongly characterized as antisemitic. An interesting concern for a supposedly Jewish politician who claims to be concerned about antisemitism, but is actually more concerned about antisemites.

Rep. Nadler argues that it’s unfair because Congress doesn’t cut off funding to colleges that platform homophobia, so why should it cut funding for antisemitism? Jewish constituents of Rep. Nadler must find the “why focus on antisemitism” argument very comforting.

Then he attacks a ban on funding campus antisemitism as “draconian”. Who thinks fighting campus hatred of Jews is “draconian”? Jew-haters and their political allies.

Allies like Rep. Nadler.

Nadler shows he cares more about antisemites than antisemitism.

Teachers Unions for Palestine

Peddling Jew-hate to our kids.

On the same day that thousands of rockets rained down on innocent Israeli citizens, photos, and videos emerged of people dancing in the street. This time, those images were not broadcast from Middle Eastern cities but instead filmed right here in the United States.

The examples are well-known. A man in Boston holds up a phone showing a beheaded baby and makes an obscene hand gesture to the camera, recording his laughter. A hijab-wearing woman at a Democratic Socialists of America rally says she’s glad for the Hamas attack and does not consider herself an American. Students in Cooper Union lead a pro-Palestinian rally brandishing anti-Zionist posters, shouting anti-Semitic slogans and terrifying Jewish students barricaded in the library as anti-Israel protestors bang on the doors.

These offensive messages are orchestrated. The people delivering them clearly have been propagandized to hate Jews. Many of their talking points have a not-so-surprising source: radicalized teachers’ unions.

Leftist support for Hamas is grounded in part in years of propaganda, denouncing Western values, from some of the unionized teachers indoctrinating American children. Those activist teachers belong to unions that exploit the profession and muzzle good teachers while working to turn our kids into leftist activists.

Teachers’ unions support Black Lives Matter and introduced the group’s messages into our schools after George Floyd’s death. It should be no surprise, then, that just as BLM Chicago released an image of a Hamas parachuter with the caption, “I Stand with Palestine,” student activists cheer Hamas’s evil, too.

A BLM spinoff, BLM at School, called the violence a “direct result of decades of Israeli settler colonialism . . . occupation, blockade, apartheid and attempted genocide” of Palestinians. The statement’s language is reminiscent of a National Education Association (NEA) “new business item” from 2019 alleging “apartheid,” “gross human rights abuses,” and “atrocities” against Palestinians. BLM at School, including its BLM Week of Action, routinely receives the backing of the NEA and the American Federation of Teachers.

Year after year, unions here and abroad spare no effort to denounce Israel and promote the Palestinians, whose leaders have never renounced their stated objective to annihilate the Jews and Israel. In 2022, for example, the NEA adopted a business item promising to “support and spotlight the efforts of our fellow teacher union colleagues within the Palestinian and Israeli teachers unions affiliated with Education International.” Education International includes 383 teacher groups from around the world; the General Union of Palestinian Teachers (an arm of the Palestine Liberation Organization) and the National Education Union of the United Kingdom are members. According to the Jewish Chronicle, dozens of Jewish teachers resigned from the National Education Union because of its stance on Israel: NEU leaders reportedly visit the radical GUPT and platform GUPT leaders who say that Israel has massacred Palestinians in a way “worse than the Holocaust itself,” and who have “praised murderers as ‘martyrs.’”

Teachers’ unions in America hold similar views. Two years ago, American Federation of Teachers affiliate United Teachers of Los Angeles backed a resolution condemning Israel. Around the same time, United Educators of San Francisco voted to support BDS—boycott, divestment, and sanctions—against Israel, as did Seattle’s public schools. Randi Weingarten, head of the AFT, denounced Jewish critics of her stalling to reopen schools after Covid-19 shutdowns, calling Jews in America part of the “ownership class.” As author Marc Stern noted, had such words come from Louis Farrakhan or a Proud Boys member, they’d be correctly condemned as anti-Semitic.

Union officials may stand strongly against Israel and Palestine, but most teachers disagree with the leadership, like the Jewish teacher in Los Angeles who said that she feared for her safety after the UTLA vote.

Still, the unions, which draw funding for their political activities from teachers’ dues, have no qualms in peddling anti-Israel views.

Teachers’ unions are among the nation’s most influential labor groups. They are famously successful at helping elect legislators who will codify radical union priorities into laws governing classrooms. It’s thus easy to imagine that more young people in America will embrace their ideas about Israel.

Jewish students sue NYU for allowing students to chant ‘gas the Jews’ and ‘Hitler was right’

NYU officials deny this, but given today’s academic environment, there is absolutely nothing unbelievable about this claim.

“Jewish students sue NYU claiming university allows students to chant ‘gas the Jews,'” by Richard Percival, The JC, November 15, 2023 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

New York University (NYU) has been sued by three Jewish students for allegedly failing to protect them against “festering Jewish hatred permeating the school.”

Bella Ingber, Sabrina Maslavi and Saul Tawil accused the university of “egregious civil rights violations” by allegedly allowing students to chant antisemitic phrases like “gas the Jews” and “Hitler was right.”

In a lawsuit filed at Manhattan district court, the students claimed antisemitism had been a “growing institutional problem” at NYU even before the war between Israel and Hamas began last month.

The lawsuit also alleges Jewish students’ complaints are “ignored, slow-walked, or met with gaslighting” by NYU administrators.

According to the lawsuit, university president Linda Mills this month dismissed a petition from 4,000 NYU members expressing concern about antisemitism.

The three students in the lawsuit urge NYU to terminate employees suspend or expel students responsible for antisemitic abuse and pay compensatory and punitive damages.

In one instance, Ingber and Maslavi said that while attending a silent vigil on 17 October supporting Israel, they saw nearby faculty and student members of on-campus pro-Palestinian groups burn an Israeli flag, make “slit-your-throat” gestures toward Jewish students, and scream epithets….

Schools for Hamas-cide

Welcome to the vicious Jew-hatred in many of our schools.

While the slaying of some 1,400 Jews by Hamas is a major tragedy in and of itself, other important facets of the story merit attention. For example, a Harris poll taken after the massacre reveals that 51% of American 18-24-year-olds think the murder of innocent Jewish men, women, and babies was justified, and much of this Jew-hatred can be attributed to our nation’s schools.

Rethinking Schools, a radical activist outfit established in 1986, whose products are used by 200,000 teachers and are on university reading lists, asserts that educators have a “moral and educational responsibility” to join and teach about “the movement to boycott, divest from, and sanction Israel.”

Also, a wing of Rethinking Schools, the Zinn Education Project, which haJew-hatreds developed history curricula since 2008, is used by 155,000 teachers nationwide. On October 10, the organization declared that the terror, violence, murder, and rape we’ve seen in the past week “is the direct result of decades of Israeli occupation.”

In Oakland, the teachers union has accused Israel of carrying out genocide and ethnic cleansing. The teachers union in Seattle passed a resolution in 2021 supporting the same lie. In Virginia, a school board member in Fairfax County has, under the banner of culturally responsive pedagogy, pushed for an explicitly anti-Israeli curriculum.

Also, Black Lives Matter, which has had success infiltrating our public schools, insists that the recent events in the Middle East are a “direct result of decades of Israeli settler colonialism, land dispossession, occupation, blockade, apartheid, and attempted genocide of millions of Palestinians.”

Then there are the colleges. The colleges! Yes, the same cohort of far-left, cultural ignoramuses who can’t define what a woman is and offers classes like “Queering Menstruation” and “Anal 101” are now, not surprisingly, weighing in on the Middle East.

In addition to Black Lives Matter and Critical Race Theory, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion tenets have become de rigeur on college campuses. The DEI-ists see everything in black and white, labeling white people as oppressors and blacks as the oppressed. While DEI typically concerns itself with USA issues, Israel, too, is on the hook, being tarred as a bastion of Jewish whiteness with a racist commitment to shattering the lives of Palestinians, who are considered people of color.

Tabia Lee, a former collegiate DEI director, explains that DEI drives campus antisemitism. She once hosted Jewish speakers on campus with the goal of “promoting diversity and inclusion by sharing different perspectives.” But she was deemed not radical enough, and was told in no uncertain terms that Jews are “white oppressors” and that it was her job to “decenter whiteness.”

At UCLA, immediately after the onset of the invasion, professors gave extra credit to students for attending a “teach-in” pushing anti-Israel propaganda. In New York, the president of NYU’s Student Bar Association wrote that “Israel bears full responsibility for this tremendous loss of life.”

In tune with the regnant campus zeitgeist, 34 student groups at Harvard pledged their support to Hamas. At Columbia, 20 campus groups signed a statement “condoning and justifying Hamas’s atrocities against Jews,” describing the wholesale slaughter of infants and children and the rape of women as “resistance,” all the while blaming Israel and America for the violence.

At UC-Berkeley, a statement from Bears for Palestine signed by 25 on-and-off campus organizations, brazenly declared their support for the slaughter of the Jews. “We invariably reject Israel’s framing as a victim,” said the statement which also argued that “[O]ur people’s freedom will not be attainable without revolution,” adding, “We support the resistance, we support the liberation movement, and we indisputably support the Uprising.”

Sadly, activity on campuses isn’t limited to groups issuing statements. At the University of Pennsylvania, dozens of flyers depicting the names and faces of the victims that Hamas kidnapped were torn down around campus shortly after being put up. At Drexel University in Philadelphia, an assailant set a Jewish student’s dorm room door on fire. A Jewish student was beaten at Columbia, and Jewish students at Cooper Union had to take shelter in a library to escape a mob chanting, “Free Palestine!” And a student at Cornell threatened to shoot, stab, rape, and slit the throats of his Jewish classmates, prompting classes to be canceled.

There are many things we can do to mitigate the rising tide of Jew-hatred – and all the other kinds of bilge that proliferate in our colleges these days. First, wealthy people must stop giving money to colleges that engage in Jew-hatred proliferation and other forms of extremism, and this is indeed happening. Fox News reports,“Billionaires are pulling back on donations to leading Ivy League colleges amid allegations of antisemitism and anti-Israel sentiment that have become more visible in the wake of Hamas’ terror attack on Israel.”

Additionally – and this is no easy task – we must get the government out of funding private colleges. (The same crowd that reviles public money going to private schools on the K-12 level in the form of vouchers seems to have no problem with government money flowing into private colleges.) At this time, there are about 4,000 for-profit colleges in the U.S., and they receive the great majority of federal donations for higher education – which is about $201 billion. In fact, there are only 22 colleges in the country that refuse any public funds.

The government should also get out of the student loan business. At this time, the student loan nut is a staggering $1.75 trillion, about 92% of which comes from the feds.

Parents must do their share by not sending their children to a K-12 school or college that subsidizes Jew-hatredJew-hatred. Unless your kid absolutely needs a college degree for a chosen career, let them skip the indoctrination-centric universities and join an apprentice program. At this time, the number of apprentices registered with the Department of Labor has surpassed 607,000, which is more than double the number that existed in 2013.

Teachers can do their share by not teaching any curricula that are anti-Jewish or bigoted toward any other group, for that matter. They also should quit their union – like the one in Oakland – if it is openly bigoted against Jews.

While the deaths of 1,400 people is a devastating tragedy, if we don’t learn from our mistakes, we will be doomed to ongoing savagery. Please think about what you can do to stanch the ugliness that is festering in our midst.

Glorifying Hamas and Teaching Palestinians’ Blood Libel to Children

What many UN and US teachers have in common.

[Make sure to read Joseph Klein’s contributions in Jamie Glazov’s new book: Barack Obama’s True Legacy: How He Transformed America.]

Members of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) teaching and administrative staff celebrated Hamas’ massacre of 1400 Israelis and abductions on October 7th. UN Watch, a human rights organization that monitors the United Nations’ compliance with the principles of its own Charter, has just issued a blistering report exposing this scandalous endorsement of the actions of genocidal terrorists

For example, an UNRWA principal, Iman Hassan, praised the massacre for “restoring rights” and “redressing” Palestinian “grievances.”

An UNRWA teacher, Osama Ahmad, posted, “Allah is Great, Allah is Great, reality surpasses our wildest dreams” on the morning of October 7th as news of the genocidal attacks was spreading,

An UNRWA English teacher, Asmaa Rafiq Kuheil, posted, “7th, October, 2023! Sculpture the date!” To make sure that nobody missed the point, this Hamas supporter added a heart emoji to his post.

Another UNRWA English teacher, Mohammed A. Adwan, justified Hamas’ deliberate slaughter of the most Jews on a single day since the Holocaust as “resistance, regaining our rights and defending our land.” He propagated the blood libel that Israeli Jews are European colonizers who “occupy” the Palestinians’ homes and “displace our ancestors with massacres.” According to this false victimhood narrative, the Jewish people who live in Israel today have no historical connection to the land of Israel, the Jewish homeland where Jews have lived continuously for nearly 4000 years. This false narrative also castigates the Jewish inhabitants as white European “colonialists” – a racist accusation that ignores Israel’s actual demographics. A higher percentage of Israeli Jews today are categorized as Mizrahi (descendants of African and Middle Eastern Jews) than Ashkenazi (descendants of European Jews). Mizrahim, who were welcomed to reside in Israel and became Israeli citizens, were often fleeing the persecution of Jews in the Arab lands where their families had lived for centuries. Arab countries, on the other hand, have been far less hospitable to so-called Palestinian “refugees.”

Mohammed Al-Shaikh Ali, who has identified himself as an UNRWA employee, posted an ominous warning on October 10th to any Gazans thinking of escaping Gaza to Egypt: “Anyone who talks about taking refuge in Sinai is a traitor, and such people, along with anyone who tries to flee to the south, should be treated the way we ought to treat traitors.”

An UNRWA Gaza psychological school counselor, Niveen Afana, posted her prayer the day after Hamas’ savage attacks on Israeli civilians: “Allah, have mercy on our martyrs, heal our wounded, free our prisoners, strengthen our mujahideen (holy warriors), and grant them victory over the unbelievers.”

These examples and others that UN Watch’s report describes of UNRWA staff’s hate speech, blood libel against Jews, and support for the Hamas terrorists are sickening but not unexpected, given UNRWA’s anti-Semitic track record. But this evil phenomenon is spreading throughout the world, including across America.

Even in New York City, home to the largest Jewish community in the world outside of Israel, public school teachers are spouting the same hate speech and demonization of Israel as the pro-Hamas UNRWA teachers do.

A Manhattan pre-K teacher, Siriana Abboud, for example, “offers social-media guides on how to talk to 4-year-olds about ‘land theft, displacement, and ethnic cleansing,’” the New York Post reported. “She proselytized online that ‘teaching can never be radical or revolutionary, so long as you deny the ongoing and violent colonization of Palestine by Zionism’ and that early education can be a ‘tool for liberation.’” Abboud called Israel a “fascist ethnostate.”

New York’s Department of Education rewarded Ms. Abboud earlier this year with the Big Apple Award for 2023-2024 as a “liberation-inspired educator” who advocates “global consciousness.” The only “consciousness” she possesses is her hatred of Jews. The award entitles this anti-Semite to engage with the School Chancellor’s Teacher Advisory Council where she will have the opportunity to advocate for incorporating her blood libel against the Jewish State of Israel in citywide education policies and programs.

Ms. Abboud should not be anywhere near pre-K children with her poisonous ideas, let alone be in a position to influence any citywide education policies and programs. She should be required to forfeit her award and be kicked out of the School Chancellor’s Teacher Advisory Council.

A Gotham Tech High School teacher, Mohammad Jehad Ahmad, denounced New York City’s Department of Education for distributing to the city’s teachers some sources of information it recommended for use in classroom discussions on the Israel-Hamas war. Ahmad claimed the Department was distributing “Zionist propaganda” even though the Department of Education referenced some websites that are heavily biased against Israel.

Mr. Ahmad called New York City Chancellor David Banks a “white supremacist, imperialist scumbag” for daring to condemn Hamas’ October 7th terrorist attacks. Ahmad praised Hamas’ dastardly massacre of young people at a music peace festival and Hamas’ slaughter of families, young children, and even babies as “a successful military campaign.”

Ahmad also wrote on X: “So-called ‘Israel’ is a settler colony that was invented and only continues to exist through terrorism, dispossession, ethnic cleansing, and ongoing incremental genocide.” And he displayed a pro-Hamas paraglider photo online.

“How can Jews feel safe in Mohammad’s classroom?” Justin Spiro, a New York City school social worker, asked. They can’t. This pro-Hamas Jew hater does not belong anywhere near a classroom, but he is counting on his teachers’ union to protect him.

New York City school teachers, staff, and students walked out of the city’s schools to participate in a pro-Palestinian rally on November 9th, in concert with a nationwide “Shut it down for Palestine” protest. The Palestinian Youth Movement, the National Students for Justice in Palestine, the ANSWER Coalition, the People’s Forum, and the International Peoples’ Assembly were the organizers of the nationwide walkouts. Their stated purpose was to “keep building momentum and increase the pressure with more marches, walk-outs, sit-ins, and other forms of direct action directed at the political offices, businesses, and workplaces that fund, invest, and collaborate with Israeli genocide and occupation.”

New York City public school teachers participating in the walkout ignored Chancellor David Banks’ warning that “When speech and action — even on one’s personal time — undermines the mission or core functions of NYCPS [New York City Public Schools], we will review and take appropriate action on a case-by-case basis.” He made it clear in his e-mail to teachers and staff that even out-of-school political activity can violate city rules if it “disrupts … the school environment.”

In this case, New York City teachers walked out of school during their working hours, along with students and staff, to incite hate against Israel with their scurrilous accusation that Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinian people. By their actions, they have contributed to creating a more hostile “school environment” for Jewish students who are pro-Israel. The teachers especially deserve punishment for shirking their educational responsibilities to spread hate.

In Massachusetts, a school superintendent sent an e-mail just days after the Hamas massacre to teachers in her district directing them to a site that states: “Contrary to the standard mythology, especially in Israel, Israeli terrorism has been significantly worse than that of the Palestinians.”

On the Left Coast, the Oakland Education Association responded to the October 7th terrorist attack and aftermath by condemning Israel. This union accused Israel of maintaining a “75-year-long illegal military occupation of Palestine” and espousing “genocidal rhetoric and policies against the people of Palestine.”

The Oakland Education Association recommended to its members that they should use the “Teach Palestine” website as a resource. This website points to several examples of lessons for teachers to use in brainwashing their students with pro-Palestinian propaganda.

In one example, a third-grade teacher describes how she coaches her students to believe the false narrative that Israel was created as “a European colony” resulting in the forcible removal of “750,000 Palestinians from their homes and lands.” This teacher indoctrinates her students to view the Palestinians’ experience as equivalent to the Native Americans’ loss of land in the United States.

The third-grade teacher says not a word to her students about the continuous presence of Jews in their historic homeland for nearly 4000 years because such a fact would contradict her colonization fabrication. She skips over the fact that the Arabs rejected the opportunity for the Palestinians to have an independent state of their own in 1948, as well as the Palestinian leadership’s rejection of Israel’s generous land for peace offers several times since. She omits any mention of Hamas’ declared mission to destroy Israel altogether and kill as many Jews as possible.

The pro-Hamas teachers are stuck in their own web of lies and vicious slurs with their attempts to rationalize, even celebrate, Hamas’ savagery. They are complicit in egging on the Palestinian terrorists to conduct more vicious attacks against Israeli civilian women, children, infants, and the elderly in what a Hamas media adviser said will hopefully become a “permanent” state of war.

UCLA: Frenzied pro-Hamas student mob beats Netanyahu piñata to chants of ‘Beat that f***king Jew!’

The state of higher education in America today is much like it was in Germany in 1938.

“UCLA students batter Bibi piñata to chants of ‘Beat that f–king Jew!,’” by Yaron Steinbuch, New York Post, November 10, 2023:

A crowd of students assembled around the effigy on Wednesday to express their anger at Israel’s retaliatory strikes in Gaza after the Hamas attack on the Jewish state on Oct. 7, according to a clip posted on X.

Many of the protesters are seen wearing keffiyeh scarves on their heads and over their faces as they take turns pummeling the swiveling piñata amid loud chants.

“Beat that f—g Jew!” a woman screams into a bullhorn as the crowd chants, “Free, free Palestine!”

Eventually, a man grabs the piñata, punches it, and tears it down, to loud cheers.

“I am horrified. This was @ucla today. This is indefensible. They will start with punching piñatas and end with punching Jews,” X user @AYM_Higher wrote along with the clip.

The incident occurred at a rally hosted by Students for Justice in Palestine, who gathered on campus to demand the US “end funding to Israel.”

On Campuses, Jewish Students Are Being Harassed, Yelled At, Punched

It’s not much fun being a Jewish student on many campuses today. Pro-Hamas students, who want the only Jewish state to disappear and be replaced by a twenty-third Arab State, may snatch away your Israeli flag and spit on it. They may surround you, preventing you from walking away as they scream “Shame, Shame, Shame” or “apartheid” or “genocide.” They may punch you in the face. They may send you menacing emails threatening to “kill all the Jews.” They may punch you so hard that they break your nose. They may hit you with a stick if you dare to object to their ripping down posters of Israeli hostages. More on this unbelievable state of affairs can be found here: “University of Massachusetts Student Arrested for Allegedly Punching Jewish Student, Spitting on Israeli Flag,” by Dion J. Pierre, Algemeiner, November 6, 2023:

A University of Massachusetts-Amherst student has been arrested for allegedly punching a Jewish student who was carrying an Israeli flag during a gathering held to call for the release of the over 240 people kidnapped by Hamas terrorists from Israel on Oct. 7 and taken to Gaza.

After the alleged punch, the assailant snatched the Israeli flag held by the Jewish student and spat on it, according to details of the incident reported by the Massachusetts Daily Collegian, the campus newspaper for UMass-Amherst….

“Toward the end of the event [which was sponsored by Hillel], a student approached the gathering and walked through the crowd, aggressively giving people the middle finger,” the statement read. “After the event had concluded and event security had left, the same student returned to the site of the event and punched a Jewish student holding an Israeli flag, then took the flag and spit on it.”

UMass staff witnessed the incident, according to the school’s Hillel, which noted that a police report was filed and that UMass police arrested the individual….

The perpetrator was later released on bail, “with conditions prohibiting them from returning to campus,” according to a statement put out on Monday by university officials, who said the student will be subject to the legal consequences of their actions….

Let us hope that once the university is done with this student, by permanently expelling him, the local DA will step in and charge this now ex-student with battery, which was also clearly a “hate crime,” committed against a Jewish student precisely because he was Jewish.

Last month, for example, an Israeli student at Columbia University was beaten with a stick by another student who had been ripping off flyers with names and photos of Israelis that Hamas had taken as hostages.

What happened to the student who beat the Israeli with a stick? Has Columbia done the right thing and expelled that student, or is it going to submit to the pressure of its antisemitic faculty — one hundred of whom just signed a letter condemning Israel for defending itself — and let the student off with a warning? Whether Columbia does the right thing or not, the Manhattan DA has the ability, and the obligation, to press criminal charges against this student, as in a similar case at UMass/Amherst, for battery.

Two weeks later, a melee ensued at Tulane University in New Orleans in which an anti-Israel activist broke a Jewish student’s nose.

In the Tulane case, the two aggressors were not students but were in a truck that was driven by the pro-Israel demonstrators when they stopped, got out, and started attacking the Jewish students. One of those students was set upon by two pro-Hamas demonstrators, one of whom rained punches on his head and body while the other struck him over the head with a megaphone, breaking his nose.

One hopes, and expects, that both malefactors will be charged by the DA with aggravated battery, given the severity of the injury.

Intimidation and death threats have increased as well. At Harvard University, a mob — some clad in Palestinian keffiyeh scarves — jostled and harassed a Jewish student as he walked across the campus. Among the mob was Ibrahim Bharmal, the editor of the prestigious Harvard Law Review — a publication whose past editors include former US President Barack Obama.

You can see here the pro-Hamas students surrounding a Jewish student and screaming “Shame! Shame! Shame!” at him as he tries to break free. Harvard has not yet done anything to discipline those students, much less expel any of them. One expects little from President Gay, who was so belated and Laodicean in her condemnation of the October 7 massacre. And what will local law enforcement do about this angry mob of students who prevented the Jewish student from leaving? Anything? Nothing?

At Cornell University, someone threatened on a social media forum to commit acts of murder, rape, and mass shooting against Jewish students and a kosher dining ball on campus. Patrick Dai, a 21-year-old engineering student at Cornell, was arrested on a federal complaint for allegedly making the threats. He faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine….

Patrick Dai has now been expelled from Cornell and faces several years in prison. That’s the right result. Those students who are tempted to make murderous threats against Jews on campus will no doubt be reconsidering.

Pro-Israel groups, and pro-Israel donors who lately have been withholding donations to schools they deem insufficient in their lukewarm condemnations of Hamas’ brutality, can keep the pressure on colleges to expel students who engage in antisemitic behavior. And whatever the colleges do or fail to, the local DAs should do their job, and unhesitatingly prosecute antisemitic behavior wherever it appears. Even at Harvard, Columbia, Tulane, Cornell, and now, UMass/Amherst.

UNRWA’s support for jihad terrorists has been abundantly documented, but no one seems to mind.

“UN Agency Staff Celebrated Oct. 7 Massacre, Part of ‘Terror Strategy’ at Root of Hamas Attack, Watchdog Says,” by Debbie Weiss, Algemeiner, November 6, 2023:

Teachers at Palestinian schools run by the UN agency responsible for Palestinian refugees celebrated Hamas’ Oct. 7 massacre against Israel and are part of a “national strategy to commit acts of terror,” the head of a watchdog group told The Algemeiner following the release of the group’s new bombshell report on the matter.

At least 14 teachers at schools run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) publicly celebrated the Hamas atrocities on their social media accounts, with one calling the morning of Oct. 7 an “unforgettable glorious morning,” a report released on Monday by the Institute for Monitoring Peace and Cultural Tolerance in School Education (IMPACT-se) found.

The report also identified at least 100 Hamas terrorists who are graduates of UNRWA’s education system. It highlighted Amer Yaser Nazmi Sada, whose diploma was found in the vehicle of one of the terrorists who participated in the Oct. 7 slaughter of Israeli families. The diploma, granted to Sada in 2018 upon his graduation, was signed by the chief of UNRWA’s vocational program in Gaza, Farid Ajmi’an Abu Adhira.

One UNRWA employee in Gaza, Mahmoud Abu Adhm, uploaded several posts supporting the massacre by Hamas, the report showed. In one, posted three days after the attack, Abu Adhm urged the Palestinian terrorist group to kill Israeli hostages, citing Islamic texts: “Do not walk past a captive who has not been given amnesty without striking off his neck so as to terrorize the enemy.”

IMPACT-se CEO Marcus Sheff told The Algemeiner: “When you teach young people to cut the neck of the enemy, do not be surprised when you see acts like that.”

“When you teach young people that Jews should be exterminated, do not be surprised when that is what they attempt to do,” he added.

In another instance, the official Facebook page of an UNRWA elementary school in the West Bank city of Nablus posted a video of a school rally held on Oct. 26 featuring a young boy, accompanied by what seems to be an UNRWA administrator, calling for victory for Hamas’ “jihad warriors” in Gaza and evoking the defeat of the Jews at Khaybar at the hands of Muhammad’s forces in 628 CE….

After Turkish Muslim Assaults Jewish Students, UMass Administrators Defend Anti-Israel Hate

“Seven charges including assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.”

Not only are we importing terrorists and terror supporters at record rates, but some libertarians have decided to argue that terror supporters can’t be deported because that’s unconstitutional. Washington D.C. came under assault from pro-Hamas mobs and the violence continues to grow.

At an event on the UMass campus calling for Hamas to release the hostages, Efe Ercelik, a Turkish Muslim student from Istanbul, came after a Jewish student.

Police reports allege an angry, slur and stereo-type assault following the event on the campus of UMass Amherst. Efe Ercelik of Amherst was arraigned on seven charges including assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

According to the UMass Amherst Police Department report, just before 4:00 p.m. on Friday Ercelik aggressively approached two students who attended the solidarity event, using expletives and derogatory stereotypes and slurs toward Jewish People. He then allegedly punched and kicked a victim before taking a small Israeli flag out of their hands and destroying it.

Two other people corroborate the person’s account, police said. One of them said Ercelik kicked her hand as she tried to break up the attack.

Ercelik then took a small Israeli flag the person had been holding and destroyed it,” the report said. He allegedly walked into the Student Union building and stabbed “the remains of the flag” with a chef’s knife, the report said.

The administration responded swiftly by defending pro-Hamas protesters and warning about Islamophobia.

“What this student is accused of is reprehensible, illegal, and unacceptable,” the statement from Perdomo-Ahmed and Parham reads, “Let us be clear, these were the actions of an individual who did not speak for nor act on behalf of a group or anyone other than themselves. Peaceful advocacy and protest must and will be protected on our campus.”

“Antisemitism, Islamophobia, or any form of bigotry have no place in our community, and we are committed to ensuring our community’s engagement with opposing viewpoints is maintained in a respectful manner.”

Let us be clear, hatred of Jews has nothing to do with a movement that exists to hate and kill Jews.

Shelly Perdomo-Ahmed, a DEI hack, dedicates a good chunk of her statement to a pro forma condemnation of attacking Jews followed by a defense of the hateful movement behind the violence, and an attempt to give equal time to Islamophobia after a Muslim man attacked Jewish students..

Is it normal to explain that a Klansman’s attack on a black person is not reflective of the KKK? But when it comes to Islamic violence and anti-Israel hate, that’s the norm.

No wonder this happened at UMass.
