There were 10,000 illegal alien encounters at the border on Sunday alone, according to the border patrol. Estimates up and down the southern border indicate that at least 150,000 illegal aliens are prepared to cross the border at midnight when the pandemic-era program Title 42 will end.

The Biden administration isn’t ready. Not by a long shot.

Orders have gone out to all border patrol sectors. If there’s no room in shelters provided by NGOs, agents are to begin a “safe” release of illegal aliens to city streets. CBP facilities to house newcomers are already bursting at the seams and with NGO shelters already strained, it’s likely that thousands of illegal aliens — perhaps more — are going to be released at bus stops, gas stations, supermarkets, and in towns and cities across the border.

Those small towns and cities aren’t ready, either.

The potential for a humanitarian disaster is right in front of us. Large numbers of desperate people all trying to cross the border at once leave little room for error.

“The dam is about to break,” one Border Patrol source said.

The mass releases will only happen if NGOs run out of space, but officials believe that is likely. Officials have made 26,000 apprehensions and seen over 7,000 “gotaways” in just 72 hours, according to Border Patrol. That comes ahead of the end of the Title 42 public health order on Thursday, which is expected to be accompanied by an even bigger wave of migration on top of the already overwhelming numbers authorities are seeing.

The Biden administration has put into place several policies that they hope will stem the flow of illegals. There will be restrictions on families arriving at the border and single adults will be turned back if they transited through another country before arriving at the U.S. border. But asylum seekers will, with few exceptions, still be processed and released.

The predominantly single adult migrants are expected to be encouraged by the belief they have a greater chance of being admitted into the U.S. once the order ends. The Biden administration has said that is misinformation and has warned that it is stiffening penalties for illegal entry while urging migrants to use expanded legal pathways instead. However, the prospect of mass releases into the U.S. interior of those who have illegally entered the U.S., after crossing multiple countries to do so, is likely to undercut that narrative.

But even with the new policies, there’s going to be mass confusion at the border.

The administration’s new policy will automatically reject asylum seekers who illegally cross into the U.S. without first seeking protection in a country they traveled through.

It’s a notable change from the U.S.’s longtime policy of giving people the right to seek asylum regardless of whether they crossed the border illegally. Title 42 also prevented migrants from seeking asylum, but was tied to public health concerns.

The new policy is expected to let more migrants be rapidly deported to their home countries or Mexico — and comes with severe penalties, including a five-year ban on re-entry.

They often pounce on widespread confusion about U.S. border policies to recruit and exploit customers, experts say.

There was no way to avoid this situation after Biden lifted the pandemic emergency. With no pandemic, it was hard to justify using pandemic restrictions to limit illegal crossings at the border.

There are still policies the Biden administration could implement that would improve the situation, including tightening up asylum eligibility in order to prevent those border crossers from trying to game the system. But the open borders lobby has Biden in their hip pocket and he’s not likely to change America’s liberal asylum policies — unless Congress forces him to.

What was once known as the Southern border of the United States is essentially nonexistent in this time of Biden regime misrule, and so it was no surprise Wednesday when Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz tweeted some figures showing just how bad the border area has become:

Significant numbers for just 2 days!

Indeed, it was just business as usual for the border, although Ortiz didn’t mention the terrorists. It came to light last October that up to that point in 2022, the Border Patrol had caught at least 98 people at the border who are on terror watchlists. There is no indication that they’ve stopped coming since then. Terrorists can see what’s happening at the border as much as anyone else can; why shouldn’t they take advantage of the mess Old Joe has made? And those 98, of course, were just the ones who got caught.

Fox News reported that “the number of migrant encounters at the U.S. southern border climbed to a record more than 227,000 during the month of September and more than 2.3 million for the fiscal year 2022, according to data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection.” That data also shows that “there were 20 known or suspected terrorists arrested at the southern border in September, bringing the total terror watchlist arrests at the border for the fiscal year 2022 to 98. The number of terror watchlist arrests at the border for the last five years combined was 26.”

What did Old Joe and his handlers say about this? Nothing, of course, because they weren’t challenged by the sycophantic Leftist propagandists we call “journalists.” And the administration had every reason to stonewall any inquiry, as nothing demonstrated the catastrophe that is the Biden regime’s handling of the border crisis more vividly than the entry of known terrorists into the United States.

The terror risk involved in the open border has long been known. U.S. Customs and Border Protection reported as far back as Feb. 3, 2021, that “Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents arrested a group of 11 Iranian citizens who illegally crossed the border into the United States….Yuma Sector agents apprehended eight Iranian nationals in FY2020, compared to just 14 from all other border patrol sectors combined. So far in FY2021, Yuma Sector agents have apprehended 14 nationals from Iran.”

Rep. John Katko (R-N.Y.) asserted in March 2021 that “individuals that they have on the watchlist for terrorism are now starting to exploit the southern border. We need to wake up.”

Then in August 2021, former Border Patrol chief Rodney Scott warned that the Southern border was “a national security crisis,” with “TSDBs at a level we have never seen before. That’s a real threat.” In October, he said on Fox News that “we have terrorist threats we can’t get into in this type of a forum but they are real.”

Yes, they are, and they’re entirely Biden’s handlers’ fault. Former Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Mark Morgan said Monday that border agents are “demoralized” with the border “wide open.” He added that “every aspect of our public health, safety, and national security is being jeopardized.” Over 7,000 migrants cross the border every day as it is, and once Title 42, a Trump administration attempt to control the wave of migrants, is ended as Biden’s handlers plan to do next month, that number is expected to jump to 18,000 per day.

Morgan observed that one group that is taking advantage of this is the drug cartels. “They know, because of this administration, our borders are wide open,” Morgan said. “We literally handed over operational control to the cartels. It’s way beyond the millions that have been smuggled in this country.” Not just terrorists, but drug cartels as well. The nightmare never ends.

Make no mistake: this has all been done on purpose. The Biden administration, Morgan added, “opened our borders and intentionally created and facilitated a catastrophic crisis on the southwest border that we’ve never seen in our lifetime.” Why would they do such a thing? You know the answer. Morgan explained: “Their priorities [are] to get as many illegal aliens in this country because – it’s disgusting – but because they see a perceived political benefit.”

The Left seems intent on destroying the country in pursuit of unchallenged political power within it. What kind of a country they’ll be ruling over once it is overrun with migrants and its economic power entirely outsourced or outpaced doesn’t seem to be a question that ever crosses their minds. How they’ll be able to pay for all their new welfare recipients once the American middle class is entirely taxed out of existence is also not a priority consideration for them.

The only thing that matters is gaining and securing political power indefinitely. But this might easily become a Pyrrhic victory.

Mexico’s President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador loves President Joe Biden. But Obrador, the left-wing progressive leader of his narco-state, regularly insults the United States, except when he is angling for amnesty to be granted to the millions of illegal immigrants already living in the U.S. 

“You are the first president of the United States in a very long time that has not built even one meter of wall,” Mexico’s President Obrador told President Biden at the North American Leaders’ Summit in Mexico City last January. “And we thank you for that, sir, although some might not like it, although the conservatives don’t like it.”  

At the same meeting, President Obrador lobbied President Biden to insist that Congress “regularize migration situations” for “millions of Mexicans” already in the United States. “Regularize” is a euphemism for “amnesty.” President Obrador portrayed these illegal immigrants as contributors “to the development of that great nation, which is the United States of America.”  In reality, many illegal immigrants are draining public funds and resources, which undermines the quality of public services available to Americans.

Note Obrador’s sweet talk about the United States when he wanted the U.S. government to do him the big favor of granting amnesty to “millions of Mexicans” living illegally in this country. Of course, President Biden does not need to be persuaded. He is already seeking to incorporate paths for legal status and ultimate U.S. citizenship for millions of illegal immigrants as part of his so-called immigration reform bill. 

President Obrador’s sweet talk about the United States did not last very long. During the weeks that followed he proceeded to insult the United States and threaten to interfere in this country’s elections. 

Last month, for example, President Obrador made the outrageous claim that “there is more democracy in Mexico than could exist in the United States.” He added that he has “evidence to prove there is more liberty and democracy in our country,” without producing a shred of credible evidence to back up his empty boast. 

The Sustainable Governance Indicators 2022 report for Mexico noted that President Obrador’s policies have undermined democracy in his country. “His efforts to concentrate power in the presidency have weakened checks and balances, horizontal accountability, and autonomous state institutions,” the report stated.

President Obrador’s latest anti-democracy gambit is a new law that aims to weaken Mexico’s autonomous National Electoral Institute by defunding it. “Electoral officials warn the change will affect their ability to run free and fair elections ahead of the 2024 general election, when Lopez Obrador, who is limited to a six-year term, is expected to anoint a successor,” CNN reported. 

Following the deadly kidnapping of four Americans by one of Mexico’s uncontrollable cartel groups earlier this month, President Obrador made another outrageous boast. This time, Obrador bragged that “Mexico is safer than the United States. There is no issue with traveling safely through Mexico. That’s something the US citizens also know, just like our fellow Mexicans that live in the US.” 

Tell that to the families and friends of the two Americans who were so recently murdered while traveling in Mexico, as well as the families and friends of all the other Americans who have died by homicide in Mexico.  

Mexico is a failing state. The Mexican government lacks control of large swathes of territory in the country, which it has ceded to private heavily armed cartels. Crime is rampant throughout Mexico. 

According to data reported by the World Bank on the number of victims of intentional homicide per 100,000 population in 2020, Mexico’s number was four times higher than that of the United States. 

“In many parts of Mexico, [authorities] left a long time ago, so the people are alone, abandoned, subjected to the law of the strongest, subjected to the law of the jungle, the law of kidnapping, extortion, and murder because federal and local governments aren’t interested in protecting us,” said Juan Luis Hernández Avendaño, rector of the Ibero-American University in Torreón, Coahuila, at the Jesuit university system’s annual meeting in León, Guanajuato in 2022. 

During a press conference on March 9th, President Obrador washed his country’s hands of any responsibility for the fentanyl crisis that resulted in the deaths of approximately 70,000 Americans last year. “Here, we do not produce fentanyl,” he said as he blamed the problem on “social decay” in the United States.  

President Obrador is a dissembler who sees no evil, hears no evil, and speaks no evil when praising his narco-state.  

It is incontrovertible that much of the fentanyl trafficked by Mexican cartels across the U.S.-Mexico border is mass-produced at labs in Mexico with precursor chemicals sourced from China. 

In a statement that the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) issued last December, it said that “DEA’s top operational priority is to defeat the two Mexican drug cartels—the Sinaloa and Jalisco (CJNG) Cartels—that are primarily responsible for the fentanyl that is killing Americans today.”   

The DEA’s efforts to date to defeat the cartels have been unsuccessful. Operations to target cartel activities inside Mexico have relied principally on cooperation with elements within the Mexican military and law enforcement. But as Matthew Donahue, the DEA’s deputy chief of operations, said in May 2021, “We’re willing to share [intelligence] with our counterparts in Mexico, but they themselves are too afraid to even engage with us because of repercussions from their own government if they get caught working with DEA.” 

The head of Mexico’s government is of course President Obrador, who denies that Mexicans produce fentanyl and seeks to shift the blame for the fentanyl crisis to the United States. 

If Mexico’s government won’t conduct tough joint military/police operations with the United States for as long as it takes to snuff out the key cartels producing fentanyl in Mexico, then the U.S. needs to defang the cartels itself. 

A number of Republican lawmakers are introducing legislation that would designate several Mexican drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations. But the White House claims that such terrorist designations are unnecessary because it says that the Biden administration already has all the authority it needs to deal with the cartels.  

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, during her March 8th press briefing, pointed to existing sanctions authority that the administration has exercised. Obviously, however, the sanctions imposed by the Biden Treasury Department have failed to make even the slightest dent in the Mexican cartels’ illicit activities.  

Designating Mexican cartels trafficking fentanyl into the United States as foreign terrorist organizations would provide prosecutors with additional tools to go after any persons in the U.S. who knowingly provide “material support or resources” to these cartels. The designation would also require U.S. financial institutions that become aware that they have possession of or control over funds in which a designated cartel has the interest to retain possession of or control the funds. 

During the same March 8th press briefing, White House Press Secretary Jean-Pierre also said that “we continue to work in coordination with the Mexican government. And we mentioned the U.S. law enforcement — FDA — I’m sorry, FB- — FBI, D- — DEA, and DHS — have been working closely with our — with the Mexican government.” 

Aside from her word salad, Ms. Jean-Pierre is indulging in wishful thinking. We have all seen how badly the Biden administration’s efforts to work in coordination with the Mexican government have turned out. 

The expanding production of fentanyl in Mexico by the cartels and its smuggling into the United States poses a significant threat to U.S. national security interests. The cartels are colluding with China to produce a drug that is killing Americans in droves. Thus, some Republicans in the House of Representatives and Senate are proposing to go beyond simply designating Mexican cartels as foreign terrorist organizations. They support legislation that would authorize direct U.S. military action targeting cartel drug labs in Mexico for destruction in order to stop the cartels’ production and flow of fentanyl into the United States.  

Republican Representative Dan Crenshaw of Texas was one of the lawmakers who introduced such a bill earlier this year. “This is a problem of mass poisoning of the citizens of the United States and the cartels are directly responsible,” Rep. Crenshaw said in a message directed to Mexico’s President Obrador on March 8th. “My questions to you are the following: Why do you reject aid from the United States? Why do you protect the cartels? They are your enemy and the United States is your friend.” 

President Obrador responded furiously to the possibility of even limited U.S. military force directed solely against the cartel labs, which would help accomplish what the Mexican government is failing to do either alone or in cooperation with the U.S. “We are not going to permit any foreign government to intervene in our territory, much less than a government’s armed forces intervene,” he said. Trumpeting Mexico’s national sovereignty, President Obrador added that Mexico is “not a protectorate of the United States, nor a colony of the United States.” 

At the same time, Obrador threatened to intervene in U.S. elections by campaigning against the Republican Party. He called on Hispanics living in the U.S. “to not vote for that party because they are inhuman and interventionist.”  

Rep. Crenshaw replied that President Obrador should instead campaign “against the cartels who are MURDERING your own people, not the Americans who want to help eradicate them.”  

President Obrador is letting his arrogance and left-wing ideology get in the way of confronting his country’s drug cartel scourge that is killing Mexicans and Americans alike. The Biden administration’s open border policies and continued coddling of Obrador, with delusions that Mexico truly wants to cooperate in fighting the cartels, are appalling.

Fentanyl is no laughing matter — unless you’re Joe Biden, apparently.

On Wednesday, Biden spoke at the House Democratic Caucus Issues Conference at the Hyatt Regency in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. During an off-script moment, trying to poke fun at Marjorie Taylor Greene, he revealed just how little he cares about the fentanyl epidemic he created with his border crisis.

“I’ve read she was very specific recently, saying that a mom — a poor mother who lost two kids to fentanyl — that, that I killed her sons. Well, the interesting thing is that fentanyl they took came during the last administration,” he said, then laughed.

Wow, how human, how empathetic, Joe. It must take a unique kind of sociopath to laugh about a mother losing two children to fentanyl.

“What a disgusting thing to do. Especially from a president who has seen such an increase in fentanyl smuggling on his watch,” RNC Rapid response director Tommy Pigott tweeted.

The Pope has stated that every Christian is “called to reflect God’s gaze towards our migrant and refugee brothers and sisters,” except that he does not differentiate among migrants. Is the pope referring also to drug dealers among refugees, criminals, rapists, and jihadists? All of them have been found to be among the unvetted hordes illegally entering Western countries.

Until the pope dismisses his own security detail and issues an open invitation to his Vatican quarters to all illegal, unvetted economic migrants, he should not be preaching open-door migration.

Last year, Pope Francis asserted that “failure to integrate migrants can create serious problems.” Note how he puts no responsibility on the migrants to integrate, but on the host countries to integrate them. He continued:

“I am always reminded of the tragedy of Zaventem: those who did this were Belgians, but the children of migrants who were not integrated, who were ghettoized. Welcome, accompany, promote and integrate.”

The pope was referring to two suicide bombings that took place at Brussels Airport in Zaventem, Belgium, on March 22, 2016.

He also stated “the conviction that in each of them we encounter the Lord Jesus,” but one should wonder how he would explain such a “conviction” to a parent whose child has been raped, murdered or both by jihadists. Last February, the Pope celebrated “unity in diversity” as Muslim persecution of Christians escalated worldwide. His repeated insensitivity to the vast tally of victims is unconscionable.

ROME — Today every Christian is “called to reflect God’s gaze towards our migrant and refugee brothers and sisters,” Pope Francis declared Monday.

Immigration is a “very important challenge,” the pontiff told a group of pilgrims in the Vatican. “It highlights the urgent need to put fraternity before rejection and solidarity before indifference.”

The pope went on to say that we are called “to live and spread the culture of encounter, an equal encounter between migrants and the people of the country that welcomes them.”

This, he said, “is an enriching experience, as it reveals the beauty of diversity.”

It is also fruitful, he asserted, “because the faith, hope and tenacity of migrants can be an example and a spur for those who want to commit themselves to building a world of peace and well-being for all.”

To increase fraternity and social friendship, “we are all called to be creative, to think outside the box,” Francis proposed. “We are called to open new spaces, where art, music and being together become instruments of intercultural dynamics, where we can savor the richness of the encounter of diversity.”

The pope prayed that his hearers might experience “the joy of being with migrants, of being at their service, and of doing so with faith, animated by the Holy Spirit, in the conviction that in each of them we encounter the Lord Jesus.”……

Under the new legislation, nutritional, food-based, and herbal supplements would be required to undergo the same pre-market approval process as drugs – limiting access and driving up the cost of some of the most basic nutrients and superfoods.

Drug industry seeks to destroy NAC, B6, CBD and much more

Dr. Joseph Mercola warns that the Dietary Supplement Listing Act of 2022 would allow the drug industry to take over supplements and regulate them out of existence. In the past, he said, “the drug industry and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration have tried to ban certain supplements, including vitamin B6 and N-acetylcysteine (NAC), by reclassifying them as new drugs.” The latest hostile takeover of supplements would ensure that millions of Americans are unable to take care of their health in the most basic, fundamental ways.

This legislation would allow the FDA to reclassify certain supplements as “new drugs.” Supplement companies will not be able to afford millions of dollars in new regulatory fees that will be required to get their products approved by the FDA. If passed, this will drive small supplement manufacturers out of business, allowing the drug companies to continue buying them up. Right now, fourteen mega corporations – including the likes of Pfizer, Nestle, and Bayer – control more than one hundred of the most popular supplements on the market. For example, Nestle Health Science has bought up Garden of Life, Vital Proteins, Wobenzym, Persona Nutrition, Nuun, Orthica, Pure Encapsulations, Douglas Laboratories, Genestra, Minami, AOV, Klean Athlete, Bountiful, and its smaller brands Solgar, Osteo Bi-Flex, Puritan’s Pride, Ester-C, and Sundown. Once the drug companies control these products, the formulas are often adulterated and manufactured with fillers and synthetic chemicals.

The Dietary Supplement Listing Act of 2022 has already been introduced to the US Senate and referred to the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions. It is expected to become a part of the FDA’s Safety Landmark Advancements Act. Daniel Fabricant, Ph.D. president and CEO of the Natural Products Association, warned, “Last time I checked, dietary supplements are not drugs, biologics or medical devices, so why Congress or anyone supporting nongermane legislation that will only add costs to consumers who are doing all they can to stay healthy is extremely troubling.”

The FDA has been writing warning letters to supplement companies, telling them not to market N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC) for any health issues. NAC has been used as a remedy to help the body synthesize glutathione, strengthening the immune system. The FDA threatened Amazon to stop selling NAC products after learning about the public’s interest in NAC for combating infections.

This is just the tip of the spear. In 2007, Medicure Pharma manufactured a synthetic version of vitamin B6, for which they owned a drug patent. Medicure Pharma called the vitamin MC-1 and used it to treat inadequate blood flow.

That year, Medicure Pharma called on the FDA to target any dietary supplement manufacturer that used vitamin B6 in their formula. Medicure Pharma argued that any product that contained pyridoxal 5?-phosphate was guilty of selling an “adulterated” product under the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, article 402(f). The drug company had already entered MC-1 into the drug bank and believed they had exclusive rights to manufacture the synthetic B6 vitamin – no competition allowed. However, various whole food vitamin manufacturers used the natural form of vitamin B6 (pyroxidine) and refused to acquiesce to the Medicure Pharma and the drug industry. When a pharmaceutical company turns a vitamin into a synthetic drug, they are able to jack up the price and market it as theirs.

Under the new regulatory proposal, drug companies would be able to legally get away with this fraud with just about any natural vitamin or phytochemical. This will inevitably destroy health food stores and push basic food-based supplements into the pharmacy, where drug companies can control the price and limit access.

The Natural Products Association urges everyone to contact their representatives to oppose this threat to our health and freedom.

An Unsecured Border Is a Mortal and Moral Hazard~Human trafficking, minors crossing illegally in record numbers, and tragic deaths

It happened outside Brackettville, Texas, which sits about halfway between Uvalde and the border crossing at Del Rio.

This was a shooting you probably did not hear about — in part, thankfully, because no one was hurt.

A U.S. Border Patrol agent was on a road that runs out of Brackettville when he saw a Chevrolet Suburban heading north. It was just before 10:00 a.m. on Jan. 3, 2021.

"The USBP agent activated his overhead lights to initiate a vehicle stop on the SUV in order to conduct an immigration inspection," said a criminal complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas.

"A high-speed pursuit ensued as the SUV attempted to abscond from USBP agents," the complaint alleged. "During the course of the pursuit, multiple shots were fired at the USBP agents who were attempting to stop the vehicle. The vehicle traveled at a high rate of speed, in excess of 100 MPH for approximately twenty-eight minutes before law enforcement officers were able to successfully deploy spike strips, bringing the vehicle to a stop."

"USBP agents apprehended six (6) Honduran nationals who were illegally present in the United States without proper documentation," alleged the complaint.

The driver of the vehicle was also illegally in the United States. He was, alleged the complaint, "Sergio Trevino, a Mexican national and illegal alien, who initially absconded from the SUV, but was later apprehended."

"Sergio Trevino admitted his involvement in the failed alien smuggling event by stating he was hired by a friend in Houston, Texas to knowingly and willingly transport IAs further into the United States," alleged the complaint. "Trevino stated he was going to be paid approximately $2,000.00 USD for transporting the IAs.

"Trevino also admitted that he used the firearm and fired multiple shots from the moving vehicle, at law enforcement agents, as agents attempted to conduct the immigration inspection," the complaint alleged.

On June 15, Immigration and Customs Enforcement released a statement about the resolution of the Trevino case.

"A Mexican citizen was sentenced to more than 17 years in federal prison for shooting at two U.S. Border Patrol agents near Brackettville," said ICE.

"On June 10, Sergio Trevino, 35, was sentenced to 214 months in prison," it said. "On March 31, 2021, Trevino pleaded guilty to one count of assault on a federal officer and one count of using a firearm during a crime of violence. Trevino was sentenced to 94 months in prison on the assault charge and 120 months on the use of a firearm charge with both sentences to run consecutively."

Ashley Hoff, the U.S. attorney for the Western District of Texas, summarized the situation.

"Sergio Trevino not only placed the lives of the U.S. Border Patrol agents who were attempting to apprehend him in peril but also the lives of the undocumented noncitizens he was transporting and everyone traveling on the road that day," she said.

"Thankfully," she said, "no one was seriously injured by his senseless and dangerous actions."

A similar expression of relief cannot be made concerning the profoundly tragic events that soon unfolded in the same part of Texas for the same reason: an unsecured border.

Less than two weeks after U.S. Attorney Hoff issued her statement about the resolution of the Brackettville incident, San Antonio police officers called Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) to join them at the scene of a crime.

"San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) officers advised HSI special agents as they arrived at the location of the tractor-trailer in southwest San Antonio after receiving 911 calls from concerned citizens," said a statement released by ICE. "At the scene, SAPD officers discovered multiple individuals inside the tractor-trailer, on the ground, and in nearby brush — many of them deceased and some incapacitated."

"HSI confirmed that 48 individuals at the scene were deceased," the office of the U.S. attorney for the Western District of Texas reported two days later.

"Of those 22 were Mexican nationals, seven Guatemalan nationals, two Honduran nationals, and 17 of unknown origin but suspected to be undocumented non-citizens," said the U.S. attorney's office.

"HSI confirmed the undocumented status of the deceased individuals by utilizing a mobile fingerprint device," said the U.S. attorney's statement. "Sixteen of the 64 undocumented individuals were transported to local hospitals for medical evaluation. Five died at the hospital."

The next day, the Houston Chronicle carried a story headlined: "Minors migrating in record numbers."

"The four kids reported to have been hospitalized after being found in a packed, overheated tractor-trailer in San Antonio on Monday are among the growing number of children and teens making the perilous journey to the United States," the Chronicle reported.

"Bexar County officials have also told media that some of the 53 who died from the incident may be under 18," said the paper.

"The number of unaccompanied children and teens apprehended at the border has increased 17-fold since 2008, according to a new Syracuse University analysis of U.S. Customs and Border Protection data," the Chronicle reported.

In fact, the Syracuse analysis shows that in fiscal 2008, the Border Patrol apprehended 8,081 unaccompanied children (17 or younger). That rose to 76,136 in fiscal 2019, before the COVID pandemic hit. Then it dropped to 19,657 in fiscal 2020, in the midst of the pandemic and President Donald Trump's last full year in office.

In fiscal 2021, when President Joe Biden took office, it jumped to 140,230 — a one-year climb of more than 600%.

This column argued eight years ago that our unsecured southern border was like an unfenced swimming pool — a mortal hazard for would-be illegal crossers and a moral hazard for those who refused to secure it.

That June, a 15-year-old boy from Guatemala was found dead in the Rio Grande Valley. "He apparently got lost on his way north and likely died from exposure in the hot, dry brush country of South Texas," the Associated Press reported then.

This June, it was 53 people trapped in a tractor-trailer.

A recently rediscovered video shows Joe Biden as a 2020 presidential candidate inexplicably declaring, “I don’t count drunk driving as a felony,” to the astonishment of his stunned interviewers.

To put his statement in context, Biden’s baffling declaration of the insignificance of DUI for illegal immigrants came during a VICE news town hall on minority issues. He was asked about his stance on illegal immigration and deportation of immigrants who have been convicted or charged with felony law-breaking while in the United States. The Democratic candidate promised listeners that if he was elected to the White House in 2020, he would waste no time issuing an executive order (EO) that would prohibit U.S. Immigration and Customs (ICE) agents from deporting any illegal immigrant who had not committed a felony. In essence, Biden said he would decide the seriousness of a crime, not law enforcement.

Sadly, and true to his word, on January 20, 2020, newly-elected President Joe Biden signed numerous EOs reversing four years of his predecessor Donald Trump’s EOs curbing illegal immigration and requiring ICE not to enforce our country’s existing immigration laws. One early Biden EO in particular not only reversed the Trump-era gains of E.O. 13768 but further loosened American immigration policies by allowing the ICE Director to determine who must leave the country. This loosening took immigration enforcement from having the goal under Trump of “enhancing public safety” by protecting American citizens to one of protecting illegal immigrants from “financial hardship and risk [of] falling into poverty” and “the trauma of separation.”

While context is always essential in any video clip, Biden’s statement is shocking, especially in light of problems with the law members of his own family have had, such as the 2019 DUI arrest and conviction of Biden’s thirty-three-year-old niece, Caroline, and the drug possession arrest of Biden’s son, Hunter. According to The New York Post, the Biden Family has quite the rap sheet — and don’t forget, these are just the crimes they’ve been caught and arrested for so far:

Biden’s DUI comment is even more incredible, coming on the heels of the recent DUI arrest of Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul. And even though Paul Pelosi is not a member of the Biden family, with a powerful friend like Biden (who doesn’t believe a DUI is any big deal), will Pelosi’s husband really face any substantial consequences for his reckless behavior? We don’t recommend holding your breath, dear readers.

And let’s not forget, Joe Biden is the very same man who for years falsely and repeatedly claimed the horrific car accident that took the life of his first wife and his baby daughter was caused by a drunk driver. It absolutely was not.

Despite what Biden said, most Americans — especially those who have lost a loved one to an illegal immigrant drunk driver — say driving drunk absolutely should be a felony and we shouldn’t allow illegal immigrant drunk drivers into our country. Two drug dealers were arrested by California Highway Patrol (CHP) with 150,000 fentanyl pills, enough to kill roughly two million Americans. Where are they today? No one knows. They were set free two days later by a California judge.

FACT-O-RAMA! Roughly 100,000 Americans have died from fentanyl in just one year. Almost 58,220 Americans died in 13 years of Vietnam War combat.

Benito Madrigal, 19, and Jose Zendejas, 25, were pulled over during a routine traffic stop that resulted in the cops finding 150 packages containing 1,000 fentanyl pills each. Each pill sells for $5, which works out to $750,000 worth of the deadly drugs. They were booked into the Tulare County jail. That’s where things went wonky.

How can drug dealers with enough fentanyl to kill a couple of million Americans walk out of jail? A memo from the Tulare County Sherrif’s office explains the nonsense.

All inmates booked into Tulare County jails are sent through what is known as the Risk Assessment Process through the Tulare County Probation Department. That “Risk Assessment’”is then sent to a judge with the court, who then determines whether or not the individual arrested is held on bail or if they are to be released.

Two days earlier, another “narcotics sales associate” was nailed with enough fentanyl to kill 12 million Americans. Alfonso Gomez-Santana was pulled over by CHP on Wednesday, leading to the massive drug bust.

For those not keeping score, that’s enough fentanyl to kill 14 million Americans confiscated by California cops in roughly 48 hours. Fentanyl is popular with American teens, especially black kids. Black teen usage has skyrocketed five-fold in the last few years.

The problem is two-fold: the Biden Administration allows literally anyone to cross our southern border, including drug dealers who are flooding our cities and suburbs with the deadly drugs. At the same time, soft-on-crime Democrats are doing everything they can to keep criminals out of jail because of “equity” or something ridiculous. Meanwhile, thousands of Americans, many of whom are teens, are dying.

Most of the fentanyl streaming into the states comes from China. It is frequently sent to Mexico, where it is diluted, put into pill form, and smuggled over the border.

Some people believe the fentanyl barrage from China is an attack on our nation.

(Natural News) A prominent globalist on the world stage, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla’s Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) “vaccine” push is hardly his first medical fascism rodeo.

Back in 2018, Bourla appeared at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos where he openly fantasized about feeding people below him on the economic food chain microchip-laced pharmaceutical pills capable of communicating with the government.

Bourla explained that each tablet would contain a “biological chip” for tracking and surveillance purposes. Once consumed, dissolved, and digested, the chip would tell the “authorities” that the drug was taken, ensuring compliance.

“So imagine the applications of that, the compliance,” Bourla said with a maniacal grin. “The insurance companies know that the medicines patients should take, they take them.”

Bourla did not exactly receive positive feedback for these statements from anyone other than his fellow one-percenters. To this, Bourla responded that microchip-laced drugs are for the benefit of humanity, and could be used to treat “specific” conditions such as “schizophrenia and cancers.”

“‘Compliance’ he says – consumers are clearly not his customers; government bodies are,” tweeted someone in response to the video clip.

“And Pfizer is fully aligned with ‘compliance’ because it means more and more sales volume to their government customers.”

Israeli professor wants “total biometric surveillance” of the human herd in order “to monitor what’s happening under their skin”

It turns out that Bourla is hardly the only WEF globalist pushing for biometric tracking and surveillance. Yuval Noah Harari, a professor from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem‘s Department of History had this to say about the topic: “COVID is critical because this is what convinces people to accept and legitimize total biometric surveillance. We need to not just monitor people; we need to monitor what’s happening under their skin.”

In other words, the human cattle of the world need to be monitored, tracked, surveilled, and controlled at all times by people like Bourla and Harari who believe that they exist above and beyond everyone else in the world who is not part of their little club.

This is their plan for the future, by the way: to control the human herd with ingestible and injectable tracking chips. It will probably start with the former and morph into the latter once the herd gets used to the idea of technocratic elitists monitoring what’s happening under their skin at all times.

Amazingly, the Hill‘s Kim Iverson, a former disbeliever in “conspiracy theories,” is now convinced that there might just be a secret cabal of evil ones who want to enslave the entire world under a bio-surveillance matrix of total slavery.

“I shall never scoff at so-called conspiracy theorists again,” Iverson tweeted. “I will listen and remain open-minded that perhaps what they’re saying is actually happening.”

In the comment section at Zero Hedge, many stated that they will never, ever comply with such schemes, no matter what the “authorities” demand of them.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if Pfizer first tested its tablet chip in its Ukraine biolabs on the Ukrainian people,” one of them added.

Contrary to the Biden administration’s repeated denials, it appears that it is actually financing “safe” pipes for drug addicts.

 According to an investigative report posted last week by the Washington Free Beacon,

The findings are the result of Washington Free Beacon visits to five harm-reduction organizations and calls to over two dozen more. In fact, every organization we visited — facilities in Boston, New York City, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and Richmond, Va. — included crack pipes in the kits.

The outlet posted a picture of the contents of the “safe smoking kits” that are available thanks to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) grant program, which began in May.

“The kits became the subject of national attention in the wake of a Free Beacon report in February indicating that a $30 million harm-reduction program was set to fund the distribution of free crack pipes in ‘safe-smoking kits’,” the outlet reminded.

As reported by The New American, the grant includes awards of $400,000 for 25 municipal applicants tasked with providing residents with “harm reduction” supplies related to drug use and will run for three years. The funding is provided through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.

The goal of the program is to advance “racial equity” and provide “support” for “underserved communities” by reducing the rate of drug overdoses and related health issues such as STDs and other infectious diseases.

“Safe smoking kits/supplies” were also on the list of the HHS program, and the unnamed HHS representative told the Free Beacon that those would include pipes that could be used to smoke crack cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, and “any illicit substance.”

Faced with the uproar, top administration officials vehemently denied that drug paraphernalia would be included in the kit. 

Then-White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki denied that the administration would soon begin distributing crack pipes. She called the Free Beacon’s report “inaccurate,” and stated, “[The pipes] were never a part of the kit.” Psaki added that included in the “safe smoking kits” were “alcohol swabs, lip balms, and other materials to promote hygiene and reduce transmission of diseases like HIV and hepatitis.” The program, Psaki said, was designed to address the opioid crisis that was “killing millions of Americans.”

HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra and the Office of National Drug Control Policy Director Dr. Rahul Gupta issued a statement, saying, “No federal funding will be used directly or through subsequent reimbursement of grantees to put pipes in safe smoking kits.”

HHS spokeswoman Sarah Lovenheim chimed in and clarified that the department “is not distributing crack pipes,” adding that the program will adhere to “state and local laws.”

Mainstream media “fact-checkers,” such as USA Today, typically quoted official statements to support the claim that crack pipes would not be included in the kits.

The Free Beacon visited non-profit organizations in major cities to see what they were offering to drug addicts and found that the “safe” drug pipes, were, in fact, offered to anyone who’d ask for them.

For example, in Washington, D.C., “just about a mile from the U.S. Capitol and within blocks of two elementary schools,” a harm-reduction center had pipes for crack and meth “readily available.” No ID was required to get the supplies. The center, which had received $3.1 million from the HHS, did not confirm whether it participated in that specific HHS program.

At one such facility run by the Boston Public Health Commission, and visited by the Beacon reporters, the staff asked for their initials, dates of birth, housing situation, and HIV status before offering “an array of drug equipment,” such as crack pipes and various syringes for drug injections. The rule is to get a single pipe and a single syringe to an addict once a day. The report noted that it was unclear if the supplies were provided thanks to the HHS grant.

A harm-reduction center in Richmond, Virginia, could also offer only a pipe for smoking crack.

“To make up for the shortcoming, the employees added a meth pipe along with two ‘snorting kits,’ which include straws, a plastic razor blade to break up drugs, short plastic straws, a small spoon, and a bedazzled playing card to snort drugs off of,” said Free Beacon.

Reporters were offered “a long menu of drug paraphernalia available free of charge” in New York, where they were asked for their initiatives, DOBs, and ZIP codes.

On the “menu” was a “booty bump” kit for rectal ingestion of narcotics and smoking kits that included two pipes — one for crack and one for meth. According to the report, “The center advertises that its pipes are made of Pyrex, a stronger tempered glass designed for high heat.”

In Baltimore, the reporters were given “two smoking kits containing glass crack pipes as well as Chore Boy copper mesh, a cleaning product used to hold the crack rock at the end of the pipe,” as well as instructions on how to properly use it all. While IDs were not required, the reporters were asked to provide their initials, DOBs, and ZIP codes.

Commenting on the new report, the White House called it a “conspiracy theory,” and insisted that no federal money is spent on smoking pipes.

As reported by The New American, following the original Free Beacon report, Senate Republicans introduced the Cutting off Rampant Access to Crack Kits (CRACK) Act, which would prohibit federal funding and distribution of drug paraphernalia.

Ivermectin is a widely used antiparasitic drug that's listed on the World Health Organization's essential medicines list1 and approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. In low- and middle-income countries, ivermectin is commonly used to treat parasitic diseases including onchocerciasis (river blindness), strongyloidiasis, and other diseases caused by soil-transmitted helminthiasis, or parasitic worms.2

The drug is also used to treat scabies and lice. It's estimated that the total number of ivermectin doses distributed is equal to one-third of the world's population and, as such, "ivermectin at the usual doses (0.2–0.4 mg/kg) is considered extremely safe for use in humans."3

Ivermectin also has demonstrated antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties and made headlines for its potential role in treating COVID-194 — although much of the positive press has been censored and falsely labeled misinformation.5 Now researchers are highlighting another potential use for ivermectin, which is equally as exciting as its potential role in COVID-19 — as an anticancer agent.

Ivermectin's Powerful Antitumor Effects

Ivermectin has notable antitumor effects, which include inhibiting proliferation, metastasis, and angiogenic activity in cancer cells.6 It appears to inhibit tumor cells by regulating multiple signaling pathways, which researchers explained in the Pharmacological Research journal, "suggests that ivermectin may be an anticancer drug with great potential."7

Their graphic, below, shows the multiple ways that ivermectin may target cancer, including inducing apoptosis and autophagy while also inhibiting tumor stem cells and reversing multidrug resistance. They stated that ivermectin "exerts the optimal effect when used in combination with other chemotherapy drugs."8

Many may not be aware that scientists Satoshi ōmura and William C. Campbell won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2015 for their discovery of ivermectin.9 The medicine is used to treat not only parasitic diseases like malaria but also shows promise for treating asthma and neurological diseases, in addition to cancer.

Along with direct cytotoxic effects, it's believed that ivermectin regulates the tumor microenvironment, mediating immunogenic cell death — another reason for its promise as an anticancer agent.10 Research suggests the drug may be useful for the following cancers:11

Breast cancer — The proliferation of multiple breast cancer cell lines was significantly reduced following treatment with ivermectin.
Digestive system cancer — Ivermectin significantly inhibited the proliferation of gastric cancer cells in vivo and in vitro. The drug also inhibited colorectal cancer cell lines and inhibited the development of hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer).
Urinary system cancer — Ivermectin significantly inhibited the proliferation of five renal (kidney) cell carcinoma lines without affecting normal kidney cells. It also had an inhibitory effect on prostate cancer cells.
Hematological cancer — In one study, ivermectin killed leukemia cells at low concentrations while leaving normal hematopoietic cells unharmed.
Reproductive system cancer — Ivermectin inhibited the proliferation of ovarian cancer cell lines and enhanced the efficacy of the conventional chemotherapy drug cisplatin, improving the treatment of epithelial ovarian cancer.
Brain glioma — Ivermectin inhibited the proliferation of human glioblastoma cells in a dose-dependent manner.
Respiratory system cancer — Ivermectin inhibited the development of nasopharyngeal carcinoma in mice, using doses that were not toxic to immune cells known as thymocytes. Ivermectin also significantly inhibited the proliferation of lung cancer cells and may reduce the metastasis of lung cancer cells.
Melanoma — When melanoma cells were treated with ivermectin, their activity was effectively inhibited.

Ivermectin Shows Promise Against Colorectal Cancer

A study published in Frontiers in Pharmacology specifically highlighted ivermectin's potential to fight colorectal cancer, which is the third most common cancer worldwide.12 The drug was found to inhibit colorectal cancer cell growth in a dose-dependent manner as well as promote cell apoptosis.

Further, even at low doses of 2.5 and 5 µM, ivermectin induced cell arrest in colorectal cancer, leading researchers to state, "[I]vermectin might be a new potential anticancer drug therapy for human colorectal cancer and other cancers."13 Considering that the "war against cancer" has been ongoing for decades, with little to show in terms of lives saved, repurposing existing drugs with favorable safety profiles and notable anticancer effects — like ivermectin — makes sense.

The Pharmacological Research scientists similarly noted, "Drug repositioning is a shortcut to accelerate the development of anticancer drugs."14 Not only has ivermectin been shown to permeate tumor tissues effectively, but it has a long history of successful use in humans. They explained that even when doses were increased, no serious adverse effects were found:15

"[T]he broad-spectrum antiparasitic drug IVM (ivermectin), which is widely used in the field of parasitic control, has many advantages that suggest that it is worth developing as a potential new anticancer drug. IVM selectively inhibits the proliferation of tumors at a dose that is not toxic to normal cells and can reverse the MDR [multidrug resistance] of tumors.

Importantly, IVM is an established drug used for the treatment of parasitic diseases such as river blindness and elephantiasis. It has been widely used in humans for many years, and its various pharmacological properties, including long- and short-term toxicological effects and drug metabolism characteristics are very clear. In healthy volunteers, the dose was increased to 2 mg/Kg, and no serious adverse reactions were found …"

Is Liposomal Delivery a Game Changer?

The development of an injectable form of ivermectin, or liposomal ivermectin, could help overcome some of its limitations regarding solubility and open its use to a broader range of cancers. The cancer immunotherapy treatment pembrolizumab, for instance, is approved to treat PD-L1-positive, triple-negative breast cancer, which accounts for only about 20% of cases.

As an immune checkpoint inhibitor, it works best in so-called "hot" tumors, which are already infiltrated by T cells. If ivermectin could be injected into the tumor, inducing T-cell infiltration into the area and inducing immunogenic cancer cell death, it's possible that it could turn a "cold" tumor into a "hot" one, thereby making it more effectively treated.16

Biotech company Mountain Valley MD has developed a liposomal delivery system for ivermectin that they believe could dramatically widen its treatment potential. In an interview with Medical Update Online, Dennis Hancock, Mountain Valley MD president and CEO, explained:17

"So the business value proposition really simply is, we take the best-selling and best-acting drugs and expand their ability to be used on … more types of cancer on a broader spectrum. So you still need the cancer drug and what our Ivectosol does is it enables it to be used in a broader universe …

What's really exciting about the work that Mountain Valley MD is doing is we're enabling drugs that have already been proven in their efficacy and safety to do better and do more faster — so we're not asking people to 'wait five years and see'…"

Most of the research involving ivermectin for cancer to date involves oral or in-vitro administration. Mountain Valley MD is conducting preclinical trials using liposomal ivermectin for metastatic melanoma, non-small cell lung cancer, triple-negative breast cancer and possibly bladder cancers. They also have plans to produce liposomal ivermectin for use in human trials.18 In a news release, Mike Farber, director of life sciences at Mountain Valley MD, stated:19

"The extensive research supporting the drug ivermectin as effective in the inhibition of proliferation, metastasis, and angiogenic activity in a variety of cancers, and as an initiator of immunogenic cell death, is overwhelming. Imagine what is possible when you have the world's only human injectable form of ivermectin that can be directly injected into a tumor or provided through more bio-available forms such as intravenously.

We believe this will be groundbreaking research with near-immediate application to be able to proceed directly to human trials based on the safety and efficacy of ivermectin."

What About Ivermectin for SARS-CoV-2?

In the U.S., ivermectin has been vilified as a treatment for SARS-CoV-2, despite its impressive inhibitory effects on the virus.20 Even the FDA has a dedicated webpage warning "why you should not use ivermectin to prevent COVID-19."21

It's interesting to note, however, that Africa has a lower number of cases, severity of disease, hospitalizations, and deaths than other areas of the world,22 which may be due to using prophylactic medications for endemic infections — ivermectin and others, such as sweet wormwood — that have successfully treated COVID-19.

For instance, a study from Japan demonstrated that just 12 days after doctors were allowed to legally prescribe ivermectin to their COVID-19 patients, the cases dropped dramatically.23 The chairman of the Tokyo Medical Association24 noticed the low number of infections and deaths in Africa, where many use ivermectin prophylactically and as the core strategy to treat river blindness.25 More than 99% of people infected with river blindness live in 31 African countries.

Aside from these observations, a study published in the March 2022 issue of the International Journal of Infectious Diseases found that treatment with ivermectin reduced mortality in COVID-19 patients — and to a greater degree than remdesivir.26

Another recent investigation by Cornell University, posted on the University's preprint server January 20, 2022, found ivermectin outperformed 10 other drugs against COVID-19, making it the most effective against the Omicron variant.27 It even outperformed nirmatrelvir (Paxlovid), which was granted emergency use authorization against COVID-19 in December 2021.

Remdesivir costs between $2,340 and $3,120,28 and nirmatrelvir costs $529 per treatment,29 while ivermectin's average treatment cost is $58.30 Do you think this has anything to do with ivermectin's vilification?

Dr. Pierre Kory, who is part of the group that formed the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Working Group (FLCCC) to advance early treatments for COVID-19, pleaded with the U.S. government early on in the pandemic to review the expansive data on ivermectin to prevent COVID-19, and to keep those with early symptoms from progressing and help critically ill patients recover — to no avail.31,32

Household or close contacts of COVID-19 patients may take ivermectin (18 milligrams, then repeat the dose in 48 hours) for post-exposure prevention.34 Whether ivermectin's potential as an anticancer agent will be stifled the same way it was for COVID-19 remains to be seen, but it appears to be a compound that's worth watching as a potentially powerful agent in the fight against cancer.
