PJ’s Rick Moran revealed recently that the chief of America’s new Thought Police, Disinformation Governance Board executive director Nina Jankowicz, brings a peculiar wealth of experience to her new job: she falsely claimed in 2017 that Republicans funded the notorious Steele Dossier that was a central element of the Russian Collusion hoax, and she insisted that Hunter Biden’s laptop was a “Trump campaign product.” So it’s clear: this is an individual who knows all about disinformation. She also brings a certain enthusiasm to her Disinformation Governance Board job, as is clear from a video Tucker Carlson broadcast Thursday, in which Jankowicz lustily belts out a song, sung to the tune of “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious,” denouncing disinformation.

Jankowicz herself tweeted the video on Feb. 17, 2021, with the caption, “You can just call me the Mary Poppins of disinformation.” Affecting a poor English accent, she sang:

Information laundering is really quite ferocious

It’s when a huckster takes some lies and makes them sound precocious

By saying them in Congress or in mainstream outlets so disinformation’s origins are slightly less atrocious

It’s how you hide a little lie, little lie

It’s how you hide a little lie, little lie

It’s how you hide a little, hide a little lie

But Rudy Giuliani shared bad intel from Ukraine

Or when TikTok influencers said COVID can cause pain

They’re laundering disinfo and we really should take note, and not support their lies with our wallet, voice or throat

These are our moral superiors, America! These are the guardians of acceptable opinion! Is there anyone who ever saw this video who thought it was cute or funny? Likely the only people who did were members of Jankowicz’s own social circle: far-Left members of the Washington elite, affluent, comfortable, and untroubled by the rise of authoritarianism in the U.S. because they themselves are the authoritarians.

Tucker Carlson pointed out: “Now, you may have noticed if you listened carefully to the ditty that she just sang that every example of disinformation in her karaoke performance came from people who opposed Joe Biden’s policies. Is that a coincidence? Probably not. In fact, we know it’s not because Nina Jankowicz is telling [us that] all the disinformation is on the other side of the political divide.” That is no surprise, as the whole point of Jankowicz’s Disinformation Governance Board is to quash dissent by stigmatizing it as a falsehood that is inimical to the life and health of “our democracy,” by which Leftists mean “Leftist hegemony in politics and culture.”

Jankowicz is a natural for her new job. Not only does her revolting disinformation ditty reveal her enthusiasm for censorship, but she has been calling for it for quite some time. On Jan. 28, 2021, she published a lengthy article in Wired entitled “Online Harassment Toward Women Is Getting Even More Insidious: From coded memes to deepfake porn, abusive disinformation campaigns are sliding past moderation tools. Platforms, Congress, and employers need to help women fight back.”

On the same day, she tweeted: “For @WIRED, I wrote about the online gendered abuse I experienced, and the attacks we tracked against @KamalaHarris, @AOC, @IlhanMN, & more. Platforms and governments aren’t doing enough. It’s time to act. Our national security and democracy are at stake.” Apparently conservative women don’t experience any online harassment; that’s only for Leftist women. Ominously, Jankowicz declared in her article that “Congress should reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and include provisions against online gender-based harassment.” If the definition of “violence” is to be redefined to include certain types of speech, the door is opened to all manner of censorship. Anything can be said to be speech that might lead to violence, including political dissent, and silenced accordingly.

The very idea of the Disinformation Governance Board is bad enough, but the fact that Biden’s handlers would put a convinced and enthusiastic fascist such as Nina Jankowicz in charge of it is even worse. Nina Jankowicz has been preparing for this moment for practically her entire professional life, and this is her chance to shine on the biggest stage of all. Her own website is labeled “Nina Jankowicz, Disinformation Expert.” Her bio at that website begins: “Nina Jankowicz is an internationally-recognized expert on disinformation.” This is her entire professional identity. There is no doubt that she is going to undertake her new duties with gusto. And that’s just one more problem with this new Disinformation Governance Board, on top of all the others.

Will the freedom of speech survive?

America has crossed the Rubicon. The Biden administration has established a Disinformation Governance Board, which is bad enough in itself, and even more ominously, it is part of the Department of Homeland Security. This sends the unmistakable signal that what the administration designates as “disinformation” will be treated as a national security issue, with the purveyors of this alleged disinformation being regarded as terrorists.

This is flagrantly unconstitutional, but it’s easy to imagine the Jesuitical arguments that Biden’s lawyers will make: “The First Amendment says that ‘Congress shall make no law…abridging the freedom of speech,” but Congress was not involved here; the Disinformation Governance Board has been established, not by Congress but apparently by the fiat of the president or the Homeland Security Secretary, within the Department of Homeland Security. Maybe they’ll also say that the freedom of speech is not being abridged at all, for the Founding Fathers surely didn’t intend to include “disinformation” within that freedom, did they? Surely they never intended that “disinformation” or “hate speech” would be allowed to proliferate, right?

The chief of Biden’s Thought Police, Nina Jankowicz, has already hinted at that argument. On Wednesday, she tweeted that “a HUGE focus of our work, and indeed, one of the key reasons the Board was established, is to maintain the Dept’s commitment [sic; is misspelling disinformation?] to protecting free speech, privacy, civil rights, & civil liberties.” Yes, she actually wrote that the Disinformation Governance Board was established in order to protect free speech. It’s likely that she isn’t just trying to gaslight the rubes, either. She almost certainly really believes that what she is doing is protecting the freedom of speech by getting rid of all the “disinformation” and “hate” that is blocking the way of the truth and giving the truth a clear path.

The only problem with this is that what Jankowicz herself and others among the Leftist political and media elites have more than once dismissed as “disinformation” turned out to be true. Jankowicz falsely claimed in 2017 that Republicans funded the notorious Steele Dossier that was a central element of the Russian Collusion hoax, and she insisted that Hunter Biden’s laptop was a “Trump campaign product.” Jankowicz is now defensive about passing on the claim from fifty-one (she said fifty, more disinformation) compromised intelligence officials that Hunter’s laptop was a “Russian influence op,” but is there really any doubt that if the Disinformation Governance Board had been up and running during the 2020 presidential campaign, it would have enthusiastically endorsed the intel wonks’ claim and denounced those who said that the laptop was real as purveyors of “disinformation”?

Even worse, in a larger sense, “disinformation” and “hate” are entirely subjective categories, based on the point of view of the person who is doing the evaluating. While Nina Jankowicz regarded Hunter’s laptop as Trump/Russia disinformation, it was convenient for her politically to do so, as she is aligned with Biden and his henchmen. Her evaluation of the laptop was clearly based on the fact that it would have worked to the advantage of her political opponents. There is no indication, none whatsoever, that Nina Jankowicz would ever come to the conclusion that something that aided the Left and hurt dissidents from the Left’s agenda was “disinformation,” or that something that advanced conservative causes was anything but “disinformation” and probably “hate” as well.

Yet despite the fact that the Disinformation Governance Board is quite obviously a partisan tool, Biden’s handlers likely don’t anticipate that it will get much pushback outside of rock-ribbed conservative sites. The Left has been preparing for this for a long time and softening up Americans to the idea that some legal, non-criminal, non-violent speech is actively harmful and must be suppressed. In October 2019, the Campaign For Free Speech (CFS), a pro-First Amendment advocacy group, released poll results showing that “51% of Americans think the First Amendment is outdated and should be rewritten” and that “48% believe ‘hate speech’ should be illegal.”

Who gets to decide what “hate speech” is? Nina Jankowicz, apparently. And what she will decide is entirely predictable. Now it remains to be seen whether there is still sufficient understanding of the importance of the freedom of speech in America today to stop the Disinformation Governance Board or whether it will overcome initial resistance to become an integral part of American public life, after the manner of the Department of Education.

When Jimmy Carter established that cabinet-level department, Ronald Reagan vowed to close it. When Reagan became president, however, he quickly found that shutting down the department was impossible, as too many Republicans, as well as Democrats, liked — and benefited from — the idea of a federal education bureaucracy. Will the Disinformation Governance Board follow the same trajectory? Will we see a Republican presidential candidate in 2028 or 2032 under fire for proposing a reduction in its funding? If we do, by that point it will hardly matter. America as a free society will be a dimming memory.

Bill Seeks to Muzzle Doctors Who Tell the Truth About COVID

One of the most stunning parts of this pandemic has been the denial of basic science, and one of the most shocking developments from that has been the attack on medical doctors who try to set the record straight.

As reported by Dr. Jay Bhattacharya — professor of health policy at Stanford, research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research and coauthor of the Great Barrington Declaration, which calls for focused protection of the most vulnerable1 — a California bill is now threatening to strip doctors of their medical licenses if they express medical views that the state does not agree with.2

Bhattacharya’s Personal Battle

Bhattacharya has first-hand experience with this kind of witch hunt. He was one of the first to investigate the prevalence of COVID-19 in 2020 and found that by April, the infection was already too prevalent for lockdowns to have any possibility of stopping the spread.

Bhattacharya has called the COVID-19 lockdowns the “biggest public health mistake ever made,”3 stressing that the harms caused have been “absolutely catastrophically devastating,” especially for children and the working class, worldwide.4

After Bhattacharya co-sponsored the Great Barrington Declaration, Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), and his former boss, now retired National Institutes of Health (NIH) director Francis Collins, colluded behind the scenes to quash the declaration from day 1.5

To that end, they set out to smear and destroy the reputations of Bhattacharya and the other coauthors of the declaration. In one email, Collins referred to the three highly credentialed and respected scientists as “fringe epidemiologists” and called for a press “takedown” of the trio.6,7,8,9 I detailed this treachery in “Authors of Barrington Declaration Speak Out.”

“Big tech outlets like Facebook and Google followed suit, suppressing our ideas, falsely deeming them ‘misinformation,’” Bhattacharya writes.10 “I started getting calls from reporters asking me why I wanted to ‘let the virus rip,’ when I had proposed nothing of the sort. I was the target of racist attacks and death threats.

Despite the false, defamatory and sometimes frightening attacks, we stood firm. And today many of our positions have been amply vindicated. Yet the soul searching this episode should have caused among public health officials has largely failed to occur. Instead, the lesson seems to be: Dissent at your own risk.

I do not practice medicine — I am a professor specializing in epidemiology and health policy at Stanford Medical School. But many friends who do practice have told me how they have censored their thoughts about COVID lockdowns, vaccines, and recommended treatment to avoid the mob ...

This forced scientific groupthink — and the fear and self-censorship they produce — are bad enough. So far, though, the risk has been social and reputational. Now it could become literally career-ending.”

Do You Want Your Doctor To Be Muzzled by the State?

California Assembly Bill 209811 — introduced by Assemblyman Evan Low, a Silicon Valley Democrat, and coauthored by Assembly members Aguiar-Curry, Akilah Weber and Wicks, and Sens. Pan and Wiener — designates “the dissemination or promotion of misinformation or disinformation related to the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, or ‘COVID-19,’ as unprofessional conduct” warranting “disciplinary action” that could result in the loss of their medical license.

Misinformation or disinformation related to SARS-CoV-2 includes “false or misleading information regarding the nature and risks of the virus, its prevention and treatment; and the development, safety, and effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines.” But as far as what might constitute “misinformation” or “disinformation” is unclear and basically left open for interpretation — by the state. As noted by Bhattacharya:12

“Doctors, fearing loss of their livelihoods, will need to hew closely to the government line on COVID science and policy, even if that line does not track the scientific evidence.

After all, until recently, top government science bureaucrats like Dr. Fauci claimed that the idea that COVID came from a Wuhan laboratory was a conspiracy theory, rather than a valid hypothesis that should be open to discussion. The government’s track record on discerning COVID truths is poor.

The bill claims that the spread of misinformation by physicians about the COVID vaccines ‘has weakened public confidence and placed lives at serious risk.’ But how significant is this problem in reality? Over 83% of Californians over the age of 50 are fully vaccinated (including the booster) ...

What is abundantly clear is that this bill represents a chilling interference with the practice of medicine. The bill itself is full of misinformation and a demonstration of what a disaster it would be to have the legislature dictate the practice of medicine.”

The Shanghai Model

We don’t have to guess at what life might look like if this and other bills like it are implemented, Bhattacharya warns. The drama currently playing out in Shanghai offers a clear look into what can happen when public health is dictated by the state rather than by qualified medical professionals rooted in sound science.

“Shanghai is the model for the terrifying dangers of giving dictatorial powers to public health officials,” Bhattacharya writes.13 “The harrowing situation unfolding there is a testament to the folly of a virus containment strategy that relies on lockdown.

For two weeks, the Chinese government has locked nearly 25 million people in their homes, forcibly separated children from their parents, killed family pets, and limited access to food and life-saving medical care — all to no avail. COVID cases are still rising, yet the delusion of suppressing COVID persists.

In America, many of our officials still have not abandoned their delusions about COVID and the exercise of power this crisis has allowed. As the Shanghai debacle demonstrates, of all the many terrible consequences of our public health response to COVID, the stifling of dissenting scientific viewpoints by the state might be the most dangerous.”

The Science Deniers Are in Power

As stressed by Bhattacharya, the California bill includes a number of falsehoods and fails to acknowledge basic science, starting with natural immunity. High-quality studies have repeatedly shown that natural immunity is equivalent to or superior to COVID shots. Were this bill to pass, a California doctor could lose his license for taking a patient’s COVID history into account when recommending the shot.

It also negates doctors’ ability to prescribe off-label drugs for the treatment of COVID, even though this has been a common and uncontroversial medical practice for many decades. It’s not uncommon for a drug intended for one condition to be used off-label for another. But for some reason, when it comes to COVID, this practice is now deemed hazardous and unprofessional.

The bill also falsely asserts that the “safety and efficacy of COVID vaccines have been confirmed through evaluation by the federal Food and Drug Administration.” Anyone who has followed this circus over the past year realizes that the FDA has completely ignored loud and clear warning bells showing the shots are far from safe and nowhere near as effective as initially claimed.

The bill also ignores the fact that safety depends on the individual patient’s medical history and current state of health. “For example, there is an elevated risk of myocarditis in young men taking the vaccine, especially with the booster,” Bhattacharya notes.14

Doctors have an ethical obligation to treat each patient as an individual and to ensure each patient receives the safest and best care. Bill 2098 will turn doctors into government agents, leaving no one to advocate for patients’ health.

“The false medical consensus enforced by AB 2098 will lead doctors to censor themselves to avoid government sanction. And it will be their patients, above all, who will be harmed by their silence,” Bhattacharya warns.

Californians, Vote NO on COVID Tyranny Bills

California Bill 2098 isn’t the only bill seeking to enshrine tyranny into law. Other pending California bills include:15

Senate Bill 1390,16 introduced by Sen. Pan, which seeks to criminalize “amplification of harmful content” on social media platforms.
Assembly Bill 1797,17 introduced by Assemblymember Weber, which calls for the creation of a centralized vaccination registry.
Senate Bill 1464,18 introduced by Pan, which would strip state funding from any law enforcement agency that “publicly announces that they will not follow, or adopts a policy stating that they will not follow, a public health order.”

Those funds would instead be reallocated to the county public health department. Essentially, this bill would coerce sheriffs and police officers to violate their conscience or the law, or both, in the name of “public health policy.”
Senate Bill 871,19 introduced by Pan, which would mandate all school children, ages 5 and older, be “fully vaccinated” against COVID-19. The bill would also repeal exceptions to mandatory hepatitis B vaccination to attend school and would remove the personal belief exemption against vaccination.
Senate Bill 866,20 introduced by Wiener and Pan, which would authorize minors, 12 years and older, to consent to vaccines without the consent of a parent or guardian.
Senate Bill 1479,21 introduced by Pan, which would expand “contagious, infectious, or communicable disease testing and other public health mitigation efforts to include prekindergarten, onsite after school programs, and child care centers,” and require each school district, county office of education, and charter school to create a COVID-19 testing plan, and report testing data to State Department of Public Health.

Front Groups Marshal the Ignorant

Regulating the medical views a doctor can and cannot have is dangerous in the extreme, and hopefully, the Californians who are left to vote in that state will quash such efforts. On the national level, we must also stay vigilant against similar legislative proposals, and push back against phony front groups that promote this kind of medical tyranny.

This includes the No License for Disinformation23 (NLFD) group, which promotes the false information disseminated by the dark-money group known as the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH).

As most now know, U.S. Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., a medical doctor in his own right, has been the primary challenger of Fauci’s lies, and the NLFD has been instructing individuals to report him to the Kentucky Medical Board, with the aim of getting his medical license revoked.24

Just who are the NLFD?25 In November 2021, I wrote about the NLFD, pointing out that the bottom of their website declared, “Created & Developed by EverydayAmericanJoe.”26 At the time, I took a screenshot of it, in case they’d wise up and change it. Good thing, because that notice has since been deleted.

And, no wonder, because it leads right back to the Biden White House. EverydayAmericanJoe, created by a marketing strategist named Chris Gilroy, was a website dedicated to supporting Joe Biden’s presidential campaign. (That website has since been disabled.27)

According to his LinkedIn profile,28 Gilroy created EverydayAmericanJoe.com — “the largest Biden-Harris grassroots website online” — as a freelance senior marketing consultant and designer for the Biden campaign. Since 2007, he’s been the president of The Microtechs LLC, an online marketing, web development, and digital advertising firm that produces custom websites and apps “that our clients can manage themselves.”

Aside from the EverydayAmericanJoe clue, there’s no indication of who is actually running the NLFD. It simply claims to be a “nonpartisan grassroots coalition of Americans” whose goal it is to get state medical boards to “protect the public” from medical professionals “who spread medical disinformation.” In all likelihood, the NLFD is run by a coalition of one — Gilroy himself — who is far from nonpartisan.

Not surprisingly, the NLFD has promoted and relied on the CCDH’s fabricated “Disinformation Dozen” report, which has even been denounced as biased and flawed in the extreme by Facebook.29

It’s quite clear that the CCDH exists to fabricate “evidence” that is then used to destroy the opposition in order to control the information, and the NLFD uses the CCDH’s fabrications as justification to suppress First Amendment rights.30 Indeed, Biden himself has publicly promoted and relied on this dark money CCDH report.31

The point of all this is that censorship is being authorized and directed from the very highest level of our government, and there’s only one reason for that. Democracy flourishes under free speech and dies under censorship, and anyone who claims differently has an ulterior motive for trying to confuse these simple truths.

In my view, the war against “misinformation” and “disinformation” is nothing less than a covert war against the citizens of planet Earth. It’s an attempt to seize power by controlling what people can know, and a number of high-profile world leaders, past and present, have shown their true colors.

Among them, former president Obama, who in April 2022 gave lectures at the University of Chicago and Stanford, arguing for the regulation of information — what people can and cannot view on social media and elsewhere — “to protect democracy.”32

However, as noted by nonresident senior fellow of the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research (AEI), Mark Jamison, “Such controls have done the opposite throughout history and would this time too.”33

An Open War on the Public

We find ourselves in a situation where asking valid questions about public health measures is equated to acts of domestic terrorism. It’s unbelievable, yet here we are. Over the past two years, the rhetoric used against those who question the sanity of using unscientific pandemic countermeasures, such as face masks and lockdowns, or share data showing that COVID-19 gene therapies are really bad public health policy, has become increasingly violent.

Dr. Peter Hotez, a virologist who for years has been at the forefront of promoting vaccines of all kinds, for example, has publicly called for cyber warfare assaults on American citizens who disagree with official COVID narratives, and this vile rhetoric was published in the prestigious science journal Nature, of all places.34

Doctors and nurses are now facing the untenable position of having to choose between doing right by their patients and toeing the line of totalitarianism. This simply cannot go on. It’s profoundly unhealthy and dangerous in a multitude of ways.

While frustrating and intimidating, we must all be relentless in our pursuit and sharing of the truth, and we must relentlessly demand our elected representatives stand up for freedom of speech and other Constitutional rights, including, and especially, the rights of medical doctors to express their medical opinions.

If you had any doubt that U.S. politics are run by a pay-to-play system, listen to the striking commentary made by Alabama U.S. Rep. Mo Brooks in the video above. The leaked audio is from an event held in March 20221 and explains, in no uncertain terms, that seats on the most powerful committees in Congress must be bought, at a price of $1 million or more.

The money for these seats doesn’t come from average Americans, who typically can’t afford to donate that much. It comes from lobbyists, who offer to pay the price of the seat in exchange for political favors. “Special interest groups run Washington, and I don’t mean that metaphorically,” Brooks said. “I mean literally.”2

The Truth About Corruption in DC

Brooks, who is running for Senate, said to event attendees, “I’m sure that you are very much concerned about why our Congress is so unresponsive to the regular needs of American citizens, why some of these policies that come out are so bizarre, so unfair, so skewered against regular Jane and Joe Citizen.”3 The reason is simple, he continued — it’s because of the entrenched corruption. He continued:4

“Now here is how it happens. In the House of Representatives — I use that as an example because that’s where I work — if you want to be chairman of a major committee, you have to purchase it. And the purchase price for a major committee, say like Ways and Means, minimum bid is a million dollars. And I’m talking literally here. I’m not talking metaphorically, OK?”

He then goes on to explain that the committees are actually broken down into categories depending on their different price points:5

“We have committees broken down by A group, B group and C group. C are the cheapest, B are … middling, A is the most expensive. It’s the most expensive because those are the committees that the special interest groups care the most about.”

In the U.S. House of Representatives, committees play an important role. They consider bills and issues as well as oversee agencies, programs, and activities that fall within their jurisdictions.6 The only congresspersons who can afford seats on the most expensive committees, however, are typically those who take lobbyists’ money to do so:7

“So where does a congressman come up with $1 million to be chairman of one of these eight committees? You can’t get it from Joe and Jane Citizen because Joe and Jane Citizen back home, they’re not going to be contributing that kind of money. They don’t have it. They need that money for their own families … And so you have to get it from the special interest groups.”

Politicians Depend on Money From Lobbyists in Quid Pro Quo

Money from special interest groups comes with strings attached, and the groups give it out strategically to gain leverage on politicians who will further their own agendas.8 According to Brooks:9

“With the special interest groups, there is a quid pro quo. If you don’t do what they tell you to do, they won’t give you the money that finances your chairmanship. I had one guy who ran for the chairman of the NRCC, which is where the Republicans pay their money for these committee assignments and chairmanships, just as the Democrats pay theirs to the DCCC.

And this guy who wanted to be chair of the NRCC actually had a brochure and that brochure had price listings written on it. And his argument for getting elected was, ‘Elect me. I will charge you less.’”

This arrangement, however, corrupts debate on public policy. “We need to be in a position of power,” Brooks said. “You have to do what the special interest groups require, which undermines the public policy debate.

The money now is a triumph.”10 He then gave the example of Rep. Thomas Massie, who was approached by a lobbyist from the medical device sector who offered to pay $500,000 so Massie could be on the Ways and Means Committee, which oversees tax policy — but only if he would sponsor a patent bill.

The Ways and Means Committee, by the way, is one of the most powerful and sought-after committees. To give you an idea of how coveted a seat on this committee is, Open Secrets explained:11

“When Congress is drafting tax legislation, there is no committee busier and more popular than House Ways and Means. Lobbyists often pay people to stand in the corridors of Congress watching committee members’ every move. Because when it comes to this type of complex legislation, every detail counts for something.

Special interests often use these behemoth bills as vehicles for their legislative wish lists, hoping the sheer size of the proposals will divert attention from their sought-after provisions. Since tax bills affect so many industries' bottom lines, it's little surprise that members should attract generous donations from a variety of sources, including health professionals and insurance companies.”

“Thomas is brilliant. He has patents, he’s an MIT grad,” Brooks said, so Massie agreed to look at the patent, which turned out to be harmful to small inventors. “The people with the power and the money are going to use that power and money to steal the patent rights from the person who actually had the idea, who should be reaping the rewards of that idea,” Brooks said.12

Massie told the lobbyist he wouldn’t sponsor the patent, so the lobbyist took back his offer to pay the $500,000. This story was published by USA Today in 2016, meaning it’s no secret that such exchanges occur. At the time, Massie told USA Today:13

“It was one of the scummiest meetings I’ve ever been in. I left just reeling, thinking about the implications for how this place works, when you realize that the lobbyists pick who goes on which committee.”

There was only one thing that Massie wished he’d said differently to the press, Brooks said. He’d talked about lobbyists buying committee assignments, but really, he told Brooks, “It’s a rental agreement. You have to pay it every two years.”14

Most Politicians Are Working for Their Own Self-Interest

What’s clear is that systemic corruption is present, with most politicians not fighting for the public but, rather, looking out for their own self-interest and wealth accumulation. Many political campaigns run on the platform that they’re just like the average American, but personal financial disclosures reveal that more than half of Congress members are millionaires, with a median net worth of just over $1 million.15

Further, the top 10% of the lawmakers in terms of wealth are three times richer than the bottom 90%.16 Many of them become multimillionaires by trading stocks and options. Are their successful trades just luck or do they benefit from their inside knowledge about the corporations they trade — and their power to wield legislation that affects the companies’ futures?

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, for instance, earns $223,500 a year, making her the third-highest-paid elected official in the U.S.17 Yet, since 2004, her wealth has increased from $41 million to nearly $115 million, according to OpenSecrets, which began tracking lawmakers’ personal finances that year.18

In the last two years, nearly 75% of Pelosi’s stock trades have involved Big Tech stocks, totaling over $33 million in trading. “That has happened as major legislation is pending before the House, controlled by the committees Pelosi oversees, which could radically reshape the industry and laws that govern the very companies in which she and her husband most aggressively trade,” Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Glenn Greenwald wrote.19

Greenwald also revealed that Pelosi’s five most-traded stocks in the last two years — Apple, Microsoft, Facebook, Amazon, and Google — were those that stood to be most affected by pending legislation. And, not just any legislation, but legislation that she was working to negotiate and work through Congress.

Another example is Sen. Kelly Loeffler, R-Ga., who has an estimated worth of over $500 million.20 She and her husband, New York Stock Exchange chief executive Jeff Sprecher, came under fire for suspicious stock trades worth between $1.2 million and $3.1 million that occurred immediately after a “closed-door coronavirus briefing in late January” 2020.21 Among them:22

  • Buying stock in an online travel booking site in February 2020, then selling it four days later, just before a ban on flights from Europe was publicly announced
  • Purchasing stock in Citrix, which sells GoToMeeting teleworking software

Sen. Richard Burr, chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, who receives frequent briefings about potential U.S. threats, also dumped stock, including in hotel companies, worth up to $1.7 million in late January 2020.23 Sen. Dianne Feinstein from California and Sen. James Inhofe of Oklahoma also sold stock after Intelligence Committee briefings.24

Revolving Door: Politicians Often Become Lobbyists

Another issue is the revolving door between politicians, who are supposed to be performing a public service, and the private sector. After their political careers end, many go on to serve as lobbyists or work in the corporate world, which means that during their tenure, they want to keep doors open that may help them once they’re no longer in politics. As noted by Open Secrets:25

“When American voters discard elected officials — and their staffs — lobbying firms and interest groups are quick to snap up the unemployed. Lobbying firms — which often charge steep fees from their deep-pocketed clients — can offer former government employees salaries far greater than those proffered by Uncle Sam, as well as continued influence on Capitol Hill.

In return, firms get lobbyists who already have established connections in the federal government and whose résumés can act as a powerful draw for potential clients.”

In regard to former members of the 115th Congress alone, out of 106 members, 62 found new employment — nearly half of them with lobbying firms:26

“Lawmakers who exited their congressional offices in January 2019 landed in a variety of careers — but as usual, a good share of them spun through the revolving door to lobbying shops. While they technically couldn't lobby their former colleagues immediately (though the same wasn't true of the executive branch), they could keep themselves busy during their cooling-off periods by advising clients and bearing titles like ‘strategic adviser.’"

The Corruption Runs Deep

Regarding the pay-to-play corruption exposed by Brooks and Massie, while the national media are aware of the issue, and both political parties are guilty of engaging in it, no one is bringing it to the forefront as a major public policy issue.27 Yet, the corruption runs so deep that, in the “Breaking Points” video above, it’s pointed out that even Brooks and Massie aren’t immune.

While Brooks has received money from real estate interests and developers, and the military-industrial complex industry, Massie has personally invited lobbyists to fundraising events. “He’s playing the game himself here,” host Krystal Ball says, referring to Brooks. “He’s exposing the game in this regard, but in no way are his hands clean … They love to posture, but then they’re just as guilty of playing the same game as everybody else.”28

If Roe v. Wade can be said to be religious at all, the god it serves is Moloch, the Canaanite deity who demands human sacrifice. But Old Joe Biden, devout and knowledgeable Catholic that he is, would beg to differ. As it turns out, at least in Joe’s addled mind, Roe v. Wade is a profoundly religious document, encapsulating the wisdom of all the world’s great religious traditions. Oh, you didn’t know that? Neither did anyone else.

Biden tried to strike the tone of the careful, cautious moderate, saying: “The idea that we’re gonna make a judgment that is going to say that no one can make the judgment to choose to abort a child based on a decision by the Supreme Court I think goes way overboard.” Abort what, Joe? Abortion advocates have been insisting for fifty years now that an unborn child is just a clump of cells, not a human life at all, and now at this late date, with Roe apparently under threat (although the justices haven’t heard from Antifa yet), Dementia Joe tells us that what is aborted is a “child.” Well, yeah. That’s the very reason why what went “way overboard” was Roe itself, not a decision to overturn this exercise in baseless judicial fiat and restore the right of each state to make its own laws about abortion.

Joe being Joe, he didn’t stop there but added one of those most whopping lies this career serial liar has ever told: “Look, think what Roe says. Roe says what all basic mainstream religions have historically concluded — that the right — that the existence of human life and being is a question. Is it at the moment of conception? Is it six months? Is it six weeks?”

Biden says he is a Catholic. He even claims to be a devout, committed, observant believer. He became a U.S. senator before Roe v. Wade was decided. During the entire life of the abortion controversy post-Roe, Biden was in the Senate, and then vice president, and then ostensible president. It is inconceivable that during all those decades, he never learned that the Catholic Church teaches that “human life must be respected and protected absolutely from the moment of conception. From the first moment of his existence, a human being must be recognized as having the rights of a person – among which is the inviolable right of every innocent being to life.”

There is simply no equivocation in his own Church’s position on this. The Catechism of the Catholic Church adds: “Since the first century the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion. This teaching has not changed and remains unchangeable. Direct abortion, that is to say, abortion willed either as an end or a means, is gravely contrary to the moral law: You shall not kill the embryo by abortion and shall not cause the newborn to perish.”

The Orthodox Church, the second-largest Christian body in the world, fully agrees. While there are other religious traditions that do allow for abortion under some circumstances, it is striking that Biden would do casually misrepresent the teaching of his own religious tradition, especially in light of the fact that he has been at the center of so much controversy about whether he should receive communion despite his open defiance of the Church to which he professes to belong.

Biden continued: “If this decision holds, it’s really quite a radical decision…it basically says all the decisions related to your private life — who you marry, whether or not you decide to conceive a child or not… what does this do?” That wasn’t exactly coherent but showed traces of being a standard pro-abortion talking point, that overturning Roe would represent unconscionable government interference in the private lives of American citizens. Actually, it was Roe itself that represented raw federal overreach, seizing the authority to legislate abortion away from the states. Biden claimed that the draft opinion overturning Roe was “a fundamental shift in American jurisprudence,” but that’s once again what Roe itself was, a rejection of the Constitutional order in favor of the Left’s rule by fiat and cultural fashion that has unleashed so much madness upon us since Roe was decided.

The abortion controversy has divided and embittered the nation for half a century now, and we’re in for more Leftist lies, rage, and hysteria about it now. But in all these years, no one has ever said that Roe v. Wade, one of the most radical, baseless, and poorly argued decisions ever issued by the Supreme Court, represented traditional religious views. It took an accomplished career liar, Joe Biden, to do that.

'My heart tells me that she has developed something from the COVID vaccine or disease itself'

VCU Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia recently called Child Protective Services (CPS) on the mother of a vaccine victim after she asked medical staff about ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine (HCQ).  

8-year-old Ryleigh Jones was injected with the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine on January 6, 2022. Six days later, she became feverish and lethargic and was diagnosed with COVID-19. 

On February 15th, Ryleigh woke up a different person. She blacked out and entered the throes of a psychotic rage. She also began experiencing unexplained health complications, such as losing feeling in her legs and being unable to walk. Between February 15th and April 20th, she was taken to VCU Medical Center no less than 11 times.  

With some tweaks to her diet, Ryleigh has started to walk again, though she has not regained sensation in her legs. 

On April 14th, Jennifer Jones rushed her daughter Ryleigh to VCU Medical Center, this time because the little girl was experiencing chest pains and shortness of breath. Despite two X-rays showing pneumonia, Ryleigh was sent home. 

The chest pains and shortness of breath increased, and four days later, Jennifer took her daughter back to VCU. A third X-ray again showed pneumonia and Ryleigh was administered amoxycillin. 

Dr. Ashley Haggerty decided to admit Ryleigh as an inpatient. 

“This little girl has been here one too many times,” Dr. Haggerty told Jennifer. “We are going to admit her and figure out what’s wrong.” 

Two days later, the doctors came back with an answer.

“You’re not going to like this, but I believe that Ryleigh has FND,” said VCU’s Dr. Grace Mueller. Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) is what doctors call neurological problems they are unable to explain. It is also highly uncommon in children under age 10. 

Jennifer referred Dr. Mueller to her daughter’s blood tests pointing to a possible autoimmune disease caused by the vaccine and begged her to keep digging. 

Sensing that Ryleigh might be a victim of the COVID-19 vaccine and/or the disease itself, Jennifer also asked the hospital’s team about treatment protocols involving ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, cheap drugs that have proven effective against COVID-19. She also inquired about administering snake venom based on a recent viral podcast episode with Dr. Bryan Ardis.

Jennifer also showed Dr. Mueller a diagnosis from a prominent neurologist and epidemiologist in New York. Based on an EMG test, the New York doctor said that Ryleigh has Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP) and Small Fiber Polyneuropathy (SFP). 

Dr. Mueller immediately tried to discredit the well-known physician after finding through a Google search that he had been investigated for tax fraud, intimating that his diagnosis should not be accepted. 

Dr. Mueller continued to insist that Ryleigh had an inexplicable neurological disorder and served her with discharge papers. 

“My heart tells me that she has developed something from the COVID vaccine or disease itself. The VCU medical community will not dig further into our hypothesis.” 

Jennifer would later find out that as VCU was preparing Ryleigh’s discharge papers, Dr. Mueller also had Jennifer reported to Child Protective Services, saying that the mother was planning to administer ivermectin and HCQ to her daughter. They also told CPS their concern that Jennifer would follow the New York neurologist's plan of care, and not VCU’s. 

In Dr. Mueller's notes, obtained by AFLDS Frontline News, the physician makes no mention of what prompted the call to CPS and why she felt Ryleigh was in any danger from her mother.

CPS came knocking the next day. 

The CPS Case Worker demanded Jennifer sign a “safety plan” in which she agreed to not administer any unprescribed medications to her daughter. Jennifer refused, at which point the caseworker said ominously that she would give her “time to think about it.” 

At 4 AM, Jennifer wrote the caseworker that she would sign. 

“Ryleigh has been injured by the COVID 19 Pfizer vaccine or anesthesia and because this is something the doctors haven’t seen before we are having the hardest time ever trying to find someone to help her,” Jennifer said in the email.  

“I encourage you to research the 10 pages of side effects from the COVID vaccine that Pfizer released to the public which also states some of the symptoms that Ryleigh has displayed,” she added. 

Ryleigh’s functional doctor, who has experience working with victims of Pfizer's clinical vaccine trials, wrote his own email to the caseworker in which he cc’d an attorney and said that the VCU staff “is in violation of accepted medical ethics and therefore in violation of their license in my professional opinion.” 

The Oregon-based doctor also stressed the issue of medical rights. 

“Thus, Ms. Jennifer Jones, was well within her rights to seek a second opinion and alternate care for her child, and, as a parent and licensed doctor, I find it very disturbing that she would be reported to child protective services by insecure and egotistical hospital staff for simply exercising her right as a parent to seek evidence-based options for her child,” the doctor continued. 

“Any allegations that Ms. Jones intends to utilize off-label medications on behalf of her daughter are baseless and skirt the ethical boundaries into legal grounds for slander, libel, and false statements which can be pursued as criminal in certain states,” he added. 

Jennifer has since not heard back from the caseworker nor from anyone else at CPS. 

Last week, Ryleigh suffered two blackout episodes after which she lost the ability to speak. She also suffered significant memory loss, at times unable to remember who she is, her mother, father, or her dog Buddy. The little girl who loved to dance, socialize with friends, and dreamed about signing up for the baseball team has become unrecognizable. Her mother says it's likely due to the vaccine's spike protein, which has entered the blood-brain barrier and is preventing the body from excreting toxins.

“My child changed overnight,” says Jennifer. “And the only two things that happened to her differently were the anesthesia and vaccine.” 

Ryleigh has been improving slightly due to a change of diet and her IVIg therapy will be covered by insurance, but the Jones family, still drowning in medical bills, set up a GoFundMe campaign to help offset costs. 

Jennifer says that aside from expenses, they have also suffered a significant emotional toll. 

“We are giving [functional medicine] a try as we have been ridiculed by VCU and now have PTSD to even walk into a hospital. We never knew Doctors and Nurses could be so cruel,” she says.  

“VCU has been rude and disrespectful to us. We have been laughed at and told we are crazy for believing our daughter. Ryleigh's life has changed dramatically and she's too talented to let her suffer in this agony without fighting with everything we have to get the proper treatment for our girl.”  

When asked why she originally had her daughter injected, Jennifer told ALFDS Frontline News that the media and her social circles had told her to.

"I had Ryleigh vaccinated because I thought it was safe and I trusted what I was seeing on tv and several of my friends had their children vaccinated so I thought it was safe. I had been vaccinated and I was ok."

Don’t worry about the new disinformation governance board.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Sunday defended the department’s new disinformation board amid pushback from conservatives who say the effort is Orwellian.

“It works to ensure that the way in which we address threats, the connectivity between threats and acts of violence are addressed without infringing on free speech — protecting civil rights and civil liberties, the right of privacy,” Mayorkas told CNN’s Dana Bash on “State of the Union.”

That word salad sounds very reassuring indeed. Are you reassured?

But Mayorkas said on CNN on Sunday that while “we probably could have done a better job of communicating what it does and does not do,” the criticisms of the board “are precisely the opposite of what this small working group within the Department of Homeland Security will do.”

Really? Even the media couldn’t seem to get answers to what the disinformation board would be doing.

What will the board do? Where will the war be waged? Information on the Biden administration’s war on disinformation proved scarce. When the Associated Press asked DHS for an interview for details, the department stiffed them, according to the AP’s April 28 story. The next afternoon, a reporter asked White House press secretary Jen Psaki for more about the board at a presser, and she was pretty vacant, too. “I really haven’t dug into this exactly. I mean, we, of course, support this effort, but let me see if I can get more specifics.”

When your own boss’ top flack has no idea, that’s really saying something.

He clarified that the board is an internal working group that will gather best practices to address the disinformation threat from foreign state adversaries and cartels and “communicate those best practices to the operators.” He added that the board does not have operational authority and it will not monitor American citizens.

That might have been slightly more reassuring back before the Obama administration decided to treat American political opponents like foreign state adversaries. 

Democrats have spent the last 8 years or so claiming that every narrative they don’t like is foreign state disinformation. Does Hunter Biden’s laptop ring a bell?

Americans rightly have no trust whatsoever in such a move.

After two years of violent attacks on American liberties and the Constitution under the pretext of the “pandemic response,” breaking long-standing ethical norms and procedures of the nation’s top court does not seem like a big deal to leftists. A leaked draft majority opinion on the Supreme Court’s decision that overturns the purported constitutional right to abortion is already paying off and giving the Democratic Party something to run on this fall besides President Biden’s catastrophic record. 

While many on the Left were outraged and frustrated by the Politico report on the draft that the Court recognized as authentic, the more pragmatic wing of the camp saw it as an opportunity to divert voters’ attention away from the economy, which was “built back better” to the point of looming food shortages, among other Biden’s “achievements.”

“2022 IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION of OUR LIFETIME!” shouted Democratic National Committee Chairman Jaime Harrison on Twitter, while warning voters that “attacking fundamental freedoms — a woman’s right to choose” is only a step in a lengthy process of Republicans “ravaging our rights.”

As reported by CNBC, “Hours after the draft was leaked, the Democratic National Committee, the governing body for the party, sent out a text message to potential donors highlighting the document.”

The message reportedly reads, “News shows SCOTUS is set to overturn Roe. We must hold the GOP accountable for their attacks. Rush $15 to the DNC.” The DNC has also launched ads on its Facebook page calling on people to donate to help preserve abortion “rights,” per the report.

On Tuesday, President Biden released a statement saying that his administration is strongly supporting women’s “right” to abort their children and called on the people to elect “pro-choice” officials in the upcoming mid-term elections.

So did his former boss, Barack Obama, in an ostentatious statement posted on Twitter.

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) said in its own statement that “the stakes of protecting and expanding our Democratic Senate Majority that will fight to protect women’s health care [have] never been higher.”

Speaking at a ritzy gala organized by pro-abortion EMILY List on Tuesday, Vice President Kamala Harris urged Americans to “link arms in this fight” against “those Republicans leaders who are trying to weaponize the use of the law against women” and elect more pro-abortion legislators this November.

Democrats are also trying to invoke the boogeyman of patriarchy and remind American women that they are actually oppressed. According to The Hill, Democratic strategist Christy Setzer said, “It’s on. It’s time to get angry. It’s time to organize but mostly it’s time to tell a coherent story about what Republicans are doing to everyone that is not a straight, white Christian male in this country.” Setzer added that if the Democrats decide to make this their top message, they could change the trajectory of the elections.

Another Democratic strategist cited by the outlet, Karen Finney, called the leak a “shock to the system people needed” and “a wake-up call for women across America to understand what’s at stake.” 

And it looks like this strategy is bearing fruit.

NARAL Pro-Choice America, a pro-abortion advocacy group, reported a 1,403-percent increase in donations since Politico published the SCOTUS draft on Monday night.

ActBlue, the nonprofit tech company that facilitates fundraising for left-wing groups and the Democratic Party, stated that donors had given $12 million in a little over 24 hours.

Numerous pro-abortion Democratic lawmakers used the leaked draft as an opportunity to “fundraise like crazy,” as Insider put it. The report added that “on the Republican side, Supreme Court-themed fundraising was comparatively muted, although several conservative candidates and committees did ask for cash.”

In the meantime, Chief Justice John Roberts called the leak a “betrayal” and ordered an investigation into this stunning breach of the secrecy surrounding the Supreme Court deliberations.

The SCOTUS blog lamented that “This leak is the gravest, most unforgivable sin” and destroys trust among the justices and the staff. 

GOP Senate leader Mitch McConnell slammed the leak as “an attack on the independence of the Supreme Court” and “yet another escalation in the radical left’s ongoing campaign to bully and intimidate federal judges and substitute mob rule for the rule of law.” 

“Progressive” public figures, however, cheered for another tradition — and possibly a law — being broken in what they perceived would work to their political favor.

As reported by the Daily Caller, “Several prominent liberals took to social media to praise the anonymous individual” who leaked the draft.

Among others, Ian Millhiser, a senior correspondent at Vox, wrote, “Seriously, shout out to whoever the hero was within the Supreme Court who said ‘f*ck it! Let’s burn this place down.’”

As the old saying goes, “Desperate times call for desperate measures.” Therefore, it comes as no surprise that the party that faces devastating losses in the November midterms is trying to utilize whatever straw of hope they can to rally their dejected supporters around a new flag.

In other words, it looks like Democrats are using street magicians’ favorite trick — misdirection — and badly want voters to forget about the staggering inflation, corruption scandals, unprecedented border crisis, Covid mandates, and foreign-policy failures and focus on the issue of abortion instead.

Just as a wave of crucial midterm primary elections kicks off around the country this spring, the conveniently scheduled leak of a Supreme Court draft opinion overturning Roe v. Wade became America’s new weapon of manufactured mass distraction.

Left-wing abortifa agitators descended on the Supreme Court steps in Washington, howling, “Fascist scum has got to go.”

Unhinged TikTokers called for “riots,” “gas” and “torches”; “burning it all to the ground” by targeting “all those old white men and the women who support them”; and “mayhem in the streets” that will dwarf the “global protests around George Floyd.”

One prototypical Hollywood feminist, Amanda Duarte (a self-described “barren, child-eating sex witch”), tweeted her fantasy involving the “little white daughters” of pro-life “white supremacist lawmakers” getting “raped and impregnated by black men.”

The aborticrats are not just nuts. They’re evil.

An “anarchist collective” is now instructing women (yes, all of a sudden, the left has discovered that biological women are really a thing) how to concoct “do it yourself” abortion pills with horse ulcer powder, corn syrup, and confectioners’ sugar. (Yes, these are the same types who made it a punishable offense to talk about alternative COVID-19 treatment ivermectin, the anti-malarial drug used safely for three decades around the globe by humans and animals.)

But I digress.

Right on cue, anti-Christian hatred spread like a raging Colorado wildfire across the internet, from the profane, abortion-promoting rabbi who fumed, “Shame on all who hold the cross” and, “Time to go to war” to thousands of his fellow online vigilantes posting, “F— Christians” with veiled or outright threats of violence.

Planned Parenthood and the American Civil Liberties Union were at the ready in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, and New York City’s Foley Square for “impromptu” protests and literal screamfests, where masses of spontaneously gathered rabble-rousers carried spontaneously printed, carbon-copy signs from the billion-dollar-funded giants of the Death Lobby. (So much for that “paper shortage” being used to justify ditching traditional paper ballot voting, right? Told you so.)

Question the timing? It would be irresponsible not to do so. Survey the political landscape. Earlier this week, left-wing NPR reported that President Joe Biden “is losing support from Gen Z.” The libs in deep-blue Massachusetts are sick of him, too, according to a new Boston Globe/Suffolk University poll. Another lib outlet, government-sponsored PBS, reported last week that “independents favor the GOP right now” because “runaway inflation is hitting everyone’s wallets and has given Republicans a political edge”; pollsters also found that “about half of parents with children under age 18 said they don’t like how [Biden] has handled COVID.”

Despite the Herculean attempts of the White House, Black Lives Matter, and woke media to gin up fear over “white supremacy” as the biggest threat to our nation, unbrainwashed citizens are revolting en masse against anti-white critical race theory in higher education and “social and emotional learning” (translation: thought control and behavior modification) in K-12 schools. BLM’s multimillion-dollar grift has now hit mainstream exposure. And the Biden Disinformation Governance Board, headed by TikTok warbling bubblehead and Hunter Biden laptop-whitewasher Nina Jankowicz, has become a laughingstock across the board.

The engineered and coordinated aborti-mania also comes at an opportune time for Biden’s Big Pharma allies. Just this week, a new study has documented more COVID-19 vaccine-induced heart infections. New surveillance data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System confirms a “statistically significant increased risk for Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS) in the 3 weeks after receipt of the Janssen/Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine.” And profiteering Pfizer, which is pushing Biden to approve COVID-19 shots for children under 5, was forced to release more than 90,000 pages of jab data it tried to cover up.

Make no mistake: There are no coincidences, and conspiracies are not just theories, especially in an even-numbered election year with a crumbling, bumbling commander in chief and his minions clinging to power.

(Natural News) Most Americans would have assumed that their best and brightest military commanders and national security experts were aware, some years ago, when Russia and China began serious efforts to develop next-generation hypersonic ballistic missiles, and then react by implementing a development program of our own.

But apparently, our military geniuses were more concerned about wasting trillions of dollars to convert tribal civilizations in Afghanistan and Iraq into miniaturized versions of the United States because they completely blew off what Russia and China were doing.

Now, some years later, both of those countries have not simply successfully tested these wonder weapons, they have deployed them — and the U.S. is still struggling to catch up. In fact, testing of hypersonic weapons by the Pentagon is not going well at all, putting Washington further behind and keeping America more vulnerable than ever to a lightning-quick sneak attack.

“The first US hypersonic weapon will be delayed for as long as a year under a new schedule, even as lawmakers protest that the Pentagon is lagging behind in a new technology that Russia has already used in Ukraine and China has demonstrated in a space launch,” Bloomberg News reports.

“The goal to declare an ‘early operational capability’ for the Lockheed Martin missile by Sept. 30 has been moved back to sometime in the next fiscal year, according to an Air Force statement,” the report continued.

This, despite the fact that the U.S. spends nearly $800 billion a year on defense.

The Defense Department has also said that the Air-Launched Rapid Response Weapon, or ARRW, will likely be the “nation’s first operational hypersonic weapon,” though again, at this point, there is no way of knowing when that will be — despite the fact that Russia has fielded an operational hypersonic weapon and has already used it in combat. And these weapons, by the way, are nuclear-capable.

Bloomberg continues:

Hypersonic weapons are hard to track and destroy because they fly five times the speed of sound and can be maneuvered. Last month, Russia debuted a hypersonic air-to-ground missile in its attack on Ukraine, and in July, China hit a demonstration target on Earth with a weapon in orbit.

Adversaries don’t have to meet the rigorous standards set under the US defense acquisition system or face public scrutiny over delays and failure.

But then again, they also aren’t wasting money fighting endless brush fire wars in faraway lands for decades at a time, though Russia has certainly bit off a massive financial sinkhole in attacking its western neighbor.

According to Bloomberg, propulsion appears to be the setback for the U.S. weapon, as the Lockheed missile experienced booster motor failures for three tests in a row, which put the project behind in terms of passing two additional motor tests and at least one missile that is fully assembled.

And now, “due to the recent flight test anomalies,” the Air Force says, the very first test of a complete missile has been moved to between Oct. 1 and Dec. 30 this year, with additional testing already planned for next year as well.

Continuing, the Air Force statement said that the service branch will declare an early operational capability “after successful demonstration of operational utility” via tests of the fully assembled missile following successful booster motor demonstrations — meaning, the U.S. will remain vulnerable until the Air Force and Lockheed can figure out how to make a missile that Russia and China have already deployed work.

When the weapon has demonstrated at least some capability, remaining test missiles could theoretically be used in an emergency because, for the time being, the Air Force has delayed a former production order.

The Army and the Navy are also working on a hypersonic missile design, but the Air Force was thought to be the furthest along. The latter two services are utilizing a shared two-stage booster rocket to launch the warhead into hypersonic flight, but it has yet to undergo testing.

With the delays, however, America remains vulnerable and that’s unacceptable.

Biden Sues Alabama, Claims Ban on Transgender Child Abuse Violates 14th Amendment

The Fourteenth Amendment states that “All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”

At no point in time does it state that states are not allowed to ban child abuse simply because a particular group tends to practice that abuse. For example, states can be raping 7-year-olds even though Mohammed married a 7-year-old girl. 

Biden and his hack running the DOJ disagree.

The DOJ has sued Alabama over Senate Bill (S.B.) 184 or the Vulnerable Child Compassion and Protection Act. 

The filing is filled with woke gibberish that makes lots of assertions without ever meeting a basic legal standard.

For example, “This lawsuit challenges a state statute that denies necessary medical care to children based solely on who they are.”

The assertion that children being subjected to puberty blockers or other abuses are “who they are” is completely unproven. There is no factual basis for asserting that the children being subjected to these “treatments” are any different than any other children.

The law bans all children from being subjected to such medical experiments, based not on their identity, but on the procedures.

“All people, including transgender youth, deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. And the Fourteenth Amendment demands that Alabama not “deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.” U.S. Const. amend. XIV.”

All children deserve to be protected. Banning experimental procedures on children that will damage them irreversibly doesn’t diminish dignity and respect. Nor does it deprive anyone of equal protection. 

It is a form of protection.

The core of the argument is that medical procedures can be used to help children who suffer from physical defects, but not for “transgender” procedures.

S.B. 184 thus allows a minor to receive certain medical procedures or treatment only if they will be used to affirm the sex that the minor was assigned at birth. 6. The law discriminates against transgender minors by unjustifiably denying them access to certain forms of medically necessary care. 7. While criminalizing certain forms of medically necessary gender affirming care for transgender minors, S.B. 184 permits all other minors to access the same procedures and treatments. 

Biden’s DOJ keeps saying “medically necessary”, but it really means “psychologically necessary” which is not the same thing.

Medical procedures are concerned with repairing physical defects. Puberty blockers for psychological reasons based on a destructive current trend are not medically necessary. 

That’s the equivalent of arguing that if patients who need to have a leg amputated after suffering a car accident can get it done, then it violates the Fourteenth Amendment not to allow people with body integrity identity disorder (BIID) which is a mental problem in which people want their limbs removed to be able to do it too.

Obviously cutting off people’s body parts due to their delusions is never an answer. And, secondly, this kind of thing should never be inflicted on children.

In a recent interview, Harari said the world is entering a new industrial revolution, but the products will not be physical goods. Harari said science, technology, and industry’s greatest challenge of the 21st century will be “to try to gain control of the world inside us, to learn how to engineer and produce bodies and brains and minds.” He says these are likely to be the “main products” of the 21st-century economy.

He said, “Once you know how to produce bodies and brains and minds so cheap labor in Africa and South Asia, it simply counts for nothing.”
“The biggest question in maybe economics and politics of the coming decades will be what to do with all these useless people,” he said with a straight face. He said technology will ensure that everyone is fed, so “food is not the problem.”

“The problem is more boredom, and what to do with them, and how will they find some sense of meaning in life, when they are basically meaningless, worthless.” He prescribed drugs and computer games as solutions to entertain “useless” people’s brains.

He said a global government will collect and use data on every person to learn how to engineer bodies, brains, and minds. He says data and biometrics will be used to hack human beings and re-engineer the future of human life itself. He said, “intelligent design” never existed and any notion of a Creator God will be driven out of society, as humans become hackable, programmable. Harari even claims that the laws of natural selection and organic biochemistry will be eliminated and replaced by a trans-humanist future, where humans become hackable animals, manipulated and controlled.

“We have the technology to hack humans on a massive scale,” he said. He added crises should be exploited to implement more surveillance throughout society so “elites” can monitor, collect data, and engineer the future trajectory of human life. Much of this surveillance will “come under the skin” as biometric data become a pathway to manipulate human populations. Harari said we already have the ability to go under the skin and collect biometric data, allowing “elites” the power to re-engineer life itself. “We are upgrading humans into gods,” he said.

He said in an emergency, people trust the “scientists.” He used the example of priests and ministers shutting down their churches worldwide in 2020 to prove that God is dead. Going forward, people will put their faith in the scientific elite and global government, he balked. “Even the religious leaders trust the scientists,” he said.

(Natural News) An Amish organic farmer is facing a hefty fine and a prison term for the simple crime of producing clean meat.

Amos Miller runs a holistically managed farm in Bird-in-Hand, Pennsylvania, where he breeds cows, chickens, and pigs. The animals in his century-old farm are bred without the use of chemicals and medications mandated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). According to Miller, he raises his animals in the way he believes God intended them to be raised – in accordance with nature.

However, a federal judge ordered the Amish farmer to cease and desist all sales of his organic meat. This same magistrate also ordered Miller to pay $250,000 for “contempt of court” last summer. He added that the farmer needs to pay an initial $50,000 as a “good faith” payment to avoid jail.

To make matters worse, armed U.S. marshals raided his property, farm store, and freezers at the behest of the federal judge. They took an inventory of all his meat to ensure he will no longer be able to sell or slaughter any more animals. Miller, who runs a private members-only food distribution network, alleged that the federal government is prosecuting him for practicing his religious freedom in the way he raises and prepares food. “Our members don’t want any of that. They want fresh, raw meat with no additives. Our members want it straight from the farm with no preservatives on it.”

The members of Miller’s private food club agree, saying they do not like their grass-fed meat laced with chemical preservatives mandated by the USDA. Numbering around 400, they have also signed contracts that state their awareness of the meat not being processed in USDA-inspected plants or treated with preservatives.

USDA prefers people eat chemicals instead of clean foods

According to Miller, all USDA-licensed processing plants are required to treat all meat – regardless of whether they are organic or grass-fed – with synthetic preservatives.

“Often, they use citric acid, which you’d think comes from oranges or lemons. But it’s a modified substance made from corn, and they don’t even have to label it on the meat,” he explained.

A customer who handles the Amish farmer’s website and other modern communications concurred with him, saying: “The USDA processing plants require the meat to be treated with a chemical cocktail of citric acid, lactic acid, and peracetic acid. The peracetic acid is toxic, and the citric and lactic [acids] are GMO.”

Anke, another customer of Miller, pointed out that the lactic acid used to preserve meat is not a natural version. “It’s not lactic acid coming from the fermentation of sauerkraut. It’s all created in a dish in a lab,” she said. “It’s a synthetic sterilizer that causes many health problems.”

According to Miller, he and other small farmers would still be nearly impossible to make a profit – thanks to giant meat companies acting as middlemen. Furthermore, the exorbitant costs of obtaining a USDA meat processing license make matters worse.

The Amish farmer lamented: “The rules and regulations are such that you have to get into [a] $100,000 debt before you ever sell your first pound of meat – and the market’s not guaranteed. There’s no option for farmers to start small, and add on and buy equipment as they can.”

“[We have to] either get a license or go out of business. Our position is we’d rather go out of business because their rules and regulations are too hard to follow. We have many small farmers in our area that would love to be farmers, but the business has gotten so monopolized.”

Anke agreed with Miller, saying that ultimately, “it’s all about profit and money.” She added: “They want a monopoly on beef, pork, and poultry. They are basically saying ‘Unless you go through federal inspection, you are making people sick.'”

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas made the rounds of the talking head shows on Sunday to do some damage control and address concerns that the Biden administration’s new Disinformation Governance Board within the Department of Homeland Security signifies an all-out war against the freedom of speech. Those concerns were only exacerbated by the revelation that the chief of Old Joe’s Thought Police, Nina Jankowicz, is an enthusiastic fascist who is so excited about censorship that she sings musical comedy numbers about it in an affected English accent. Mayorkas, however, is telling us now that there is really nothing, nothing whatsoever, to worry about. But his soothing claims show some signs of being yet more of that disinformation he claims he wants to fight.

We’ve already gotten disinformation about the Disinformation Governance Board. Jen Psaki claimed Friday that it wasn’t the sainted President's Dementia at all, but the hated Trump, who set up the Board. There doesn’t appear to be a shred of truth to this, as even Mayorkas had announced the Board as “new,” and on Sunday, CNN’s Dana Bash asked Mayorkas, “Would you be okay if Donald Trump were president, if he created this Disinformation Governance Board or if it is in place in 2024, that he’s in charge of such a thing?” Mayorkas didn’t echo Psaki and answer that Trump had actually created the Board. Instead, he insisted “that we’re safeguarding the right of free speech, that we’re safeguarding civil liberties.” Sure they are.

Despite working for CNN, Bash actually acted like a real journalist, pursuing Mayorkas about some of the principal problems with the Board. “It’s still not clear to me,” she said, “how this governance board will act and what will it do.” Good point. It’s not clear to anyone. And all Mayorkas could offer in answering this all-important question was windy generalities: “So what it does is it works to ensure that the way in which we address threats, the connectivity between threats and acts of violence, are addressed without infringing on free speech, protecting civil rights and civil liberties, the right of privacy.”

Sure. It was reminiscent of how politicians always promise that the government will magically do all manner of wonderful things for us while simultaneously lowering our taxes. Mayorkas is a similar kind of magician: he’ll stamp out alleged disinformation while protecting the freedom of speech. A regular Houdini.

Bash then asked Mayorkas: “Will American citizens be monitored?” His answer was unequivocal and reassuring: “No. The board does not have any operational authority or capability. What it will do is gather together best practices in addressing the threat of disinformation from foreign state adversaries from the cartels and disseminate those best practices to the operators that have been executing in addressing this threat for years.”

Okay, so it’s all about “disinformation” from “foreign state adversaries” and “the cartels,” not from Americans at all. Yet when Politico revealed the existence of the Board last Wednesday, it said that the Board would “coordinate countering misinformation related to homeland security, focused specifically on irregular migration and Russia.” Mayorkas then added on Thursday that the Board was intended to “more effectively combat this threat not only to election security but to our homeland security.” Jen Psaki then mused about some of the areas the Disinfo Board might tackle: “We know there has been a range of [disinformation] out there about a range of topics, I mean, including COVID for example, and also elections and eligibility.”

Both Mayorkas and Psaki mentioned elections. The Leftist establishment has shrilly insisted that any skepticism about the one-hundred-percent honesty and integrity of the 2020 presidential election was “disinformation.” But apparently, the Disinformation Governance Board won’t be dealing with that at all, but only with supposed disinformation about elections in foreign countries. And likewise, while there has been immense domestic skepticism about the administration’s COVID claims (remember Biden’s winter of severe illness and death?), the jolly old Board will only swoop in if Vladimir Putin or a drug cartel leader starts saying that maybe the virus originated in a lab in Wuhan. Do I have this right, Mr. Mayorkas?

This is apparently what Mayorkas would have us believe. Fox’s Bret Baier said to him, “Americans are generally wary of anything that suggests censorship.” Mayorkas answered that his Board was just the remedy for that: “That is exactly why we set up this working group to make sure that our work to address a real threat to the homeland, the threat posed by Russian disinformation, the threat posed by Chinese disinformation, by Iranian disinformation, the work that we do does not infringe on people’s right of free speech. That’s why this working group was set up. And we will do a better job of communicating about that.” Yet from what he and others have said so far, it sounds as if Mayorkas’ claim that “the work that we do does not infringe on people’s right of free speech” will end up looking as fake as the claim that Trump colluded with Russia. Remember, you were a purveyor of “disinformation” if you doubted that one, too.

Disney Democrats Think Corporations Should Be Our Governments

Leftists used to hate corporations. Now they want them to rule over us.

Democrats, after spending the last decade sneering that Republicans believe “corporations are people”, have found a new group of oppressed victims to shelter, protect, and fight for.

Corporations.

Not since a bunch of men decided that they want to shower with teenage girls and join their swim teams, have lefties turned around their core beliefs faster than hotel bed sheets.

Biden ranted that the “far-right has taken over the party” because, “Christ, they’re going after Mickey Mouse.” Of the two, you know which one Joe Biden believes in. Disney employees have directed over $1 million in cash to the Biden campaign. That’s something Biden can bow to.

The rest of the party and the movement are just as outraged that Gov. DeSantis stood up to a multinational corporation on behalf of the voters and parents of Florida.

“The Real Reason Today’s Republican Party Hates Corporations Like Disney,” wailed Will Bunch: the Philly Inquirer’s pet clickbait troll. Gov. Jared Polis of Colorado accused Gov. DeSantis of “authoritarian socialist attacks on the private sector”.  A Washington Post op-ed even charged Rep. Lauren Boebert with wanting to “cancel Mickey Mouse.”

All of these social justice energies are being expended to argue that a major multinational corporation should have a 39 square mile self-governing district with its own zoning laws, police, and fire departments.

Forget corporations being people, Democrats want them to be governments.

Lefties used to be the biggest critics of special interest scams like the Reedy Creek Improvement District. A few years ago the media would have dug into the lies that were used to secure the territory on which Disney was going to build the homes of tomorrow, only to instead construct the tawdry resorts of yesterday where alligators can eat as many toddlers as they want and Silicon Valley types can spend $5K on the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser hotel.

Now the media awkwardly pivots to declaring that corporations should have their own cities. Lefties loudly shout that only far-right extremists like Gov. DeSantis would ever question the idea that corporations should be able to make their own laws and have their own police forces.

Truly, those whom DeSantis would destroy, he first drives mad.

All of this started because Disney came out in opposition to a parental rights law that the majority of Republicans, Independents, and even Democrats supported. But Disney execs decided that kindergarteners need to be indoctrinated on sex no matter what Mom and Dad say.

Disney and the Democrats were pretty confident that Gov. DeSantis and Republicans would bow. Corporate and sports league pressure had shut down religious freedom laws and protections for women and girls from Indiana to Utah. Republican governors, when faced with threats of corporate boycotts, have repeatedly sold out their voters and bowed to the buck.

Gov. DeSantis not only refused to bow, he took away Disney’s state within a state. The message is clear. Disney doesn’t rule in Florida, only the voters do. But Democrats want elected officials to listen to corporations. And they want those corporations to govern all of us.

They want Twitter, Facebook, Google, and other Big Tech companies to decide what we should be able to say and read. They want banks and credit card companies to stop us from donating to conservative causes or buying guns. And they want the corporations that employ us to be able to fire us the moment we express an unguarded thought they don’t like.

Corporate governance now means a monopolistic woke cartel using its wide scope of authority over national services, communications, and employment to suppress political dissent.

The Bill of Rights still occasionally keeps governments from doing some things, at least until they declare a political emergency due to a pandemic, a disputed election, or the day of the week, while nothing restrains the power of Google or Amazon to erase you from the internet while its stock price goes up another few billion thanks to the adulatory media coverage.

And since the same corps and leagues that give marching orders to cowardly GOP governors also take orders from Communist China, that means we’re really answering to Xi’s lackeys.

Like Disney.

But to the wokes, corporations have joined the totem pole of the oppressed, somewhere below suicide bombers in burkas, giant junkies who overdose while grappling with cops, tribal casino owners whiter than Elizabeth Warren, and bearded inmates of female correctional facilities.

You might say that what’s good for Disney is good for Democrats.

Should Disney have its own state within Florida? Mouseketeers and lefties want Disney to run the whole state. Much as they want the NCAA to run Indiana and Google the rest of the planet.

Gov. DeSantis refused to let his state become a Mickey Mouse operation. Some other governors, including Gov. Abbott in Texas, are joining him in declaring independence, not from the country, but from the cartel of woke corporations being used to set state policy.

Corporations, like governments, can be perfectly good and useful things. Like governments, they become a toxic assault on our rights and freedoms when they start telling us what to do.

And then they’re no different than any other form of tyranny.

Disney could have been perfectly happy churning out new Captain America and other superhero projects that had been signed off on by Chinese Communist censors while peddling $10 sodas and access to two-hour lines in order to ride their politically correct roller coasters.

Instead, Disney execs decided to throw around their power beyond the confines of their self-governing banana republic and its endless collection of ramshackle ripoff resorts and tried to rule over a state instead of just their unfortunate employees and customers.

Now, Disney is paying the price for its totalitarian hubris.

Some conservatives argue that this is “viewpoint discrimination”. And they might have a point if all Disney did was express an opinion. Corporate execs are entitled to their opinions like everyone else and corporations are free to express their concerns about what affects them. What they are not entitled to do is usurp the power of the government, its officials, and its voters.

When corporations don’t limit their areas of interest to their business affairs and instead demand that states, cities, and communities must comply with every single leftist agenda item or face their wrath, then they become the real governments while the people are rendered powerless.

And nobody, or almost nobody except a few Florida Democrats, wants to be ruled by Disney.

After generations of class warfare populism, the new woke gentry want corporations to crush the peasant parents who think that they, not Disney, have the right to raise their children.

That’s not just an abandonment of their entire political movement and worldview going back two centuries, it’s an act of political suicide akin to electing Biden and Kamala during a crisis.

If lefties want to champion corporations as our new governments, they should run on that.

Surely Florida voters, not to mention Americans from all states, races, genders, creeds, and levels of drunkenness will happily embrace this brave new proposal for corporate governance.

After Disney is appointed to run Florida and consigns political opponents to cleaning the vomit out of Space Mountain, Facebook can take over California, filling the cities with golden statues of Zuckerberg, while Amazon rules over the Northwest with gulags of warehouses.

Nobody wants that dystopian insanity except the Left, which used to hate corporations, but now wants them to tell us what we can say, what we are allowed to think, and how we should live.

How China Locks Down Over 1 Billion People

  • The goal is likely not zero COVID since one government adviser told a reporter, "eventually everyone will have to live with the virus." In the meantime, people are starving in their homes, their pets are beaten to death, food is being thrown away and adults and children are being force vaccinated in their homes and on the street
  • Roughly 26 million Shanghai residents, 1 out of 3 of whom are elderly, have been unable to go to the store or get medication starting March 28, 2022, and if they test positive, they are forced to quarantine in metal cubicle cities without temperature control or running water in their hut

Official Chinese policy is aimed at zero COVID cases, infections, or deaths in the country.1 To that end, they locked down more than half of the country’s largest cities,2 including 26 million people in Shanghai.

As a way to put the scale of what's happening in China into perspective, CNBC3 took a look at the numbers as they relate to the financial center of Shanghai. The city is home to the world's busiest port and the lockdowns have forced roughly three times as many people as live in New York City to stay home, undergo mass viral testing, and in some cases be forced vaccination.4

While their official permanent resident population in 2020 was 24.9 million,5 some believe it now is near 26 million.6 But that's just 1.8% of the total population of the country.7 Shanghai accounts for 7.3% of exports from the country and 14.4% of imports. Many of these exports come from the semiconductor manufacturing center in Shanghai and many automobile manufacturers also have plants in Shanghai.

It's also a major center for many multinational corporations, including P&G, Nike, General Electric, and Apple. Each of these corporations and industries, as well as the goods produced and exported, are affected by these lockdowns, which cannot stem the spread of this virus.

It is crucial to know and understand what is happening to the people of China as internet censors are removing information8 and mainstream media are not covering the extent of the issue. Much of the surveillance and data gathering that support these brutal attacks on the people come from a QR code system9 that has been in place since February 2020.

Individuals must download the app on their phones to go to stores or ride public transportation. Without approval from the system, people are locked out. The system monitors activities and reports them directly to the police,10 an action that is not widely known or understood. This is the type of vaccine passport system some would like to be released around the world.

Chinese Government Claims Measures Are to Achieve Zero COVID

COVID-19 made its first appearance in Wuhan, China, before 9,000 military athletes from all over the world went to Wuhan to participate in the 2019 World Military Games, creating a super spreader event.11,12

Officially, the Chinese government has a zero-COVID policy, which they describe as “the only way forward,” as reported by The Washington Post.13 According to the Post:

“Wu Zunyou, the chief epidemiologist of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, said last week that the reason other countries didn’t follow this approach is because they were simply unable — unlike China.

Other countries had no choice but to “lie down” and accept the virus, but “dynamically clearing” remains the best option for China, he said.”

The zero COVID policy is unachievable with what we know about the virus and it is unthinkable that the Chinese government officials and health experts are unaware of the facts that make their goal unrealistic. It’s unbelievable that they are unaware the measures they put in place to achieve that goal are brutal and insupportable.

The COVID-19 virus comes from a family of viruses that commonly cause the common cold.14 These viruses have an animal reservoir, which we also know to be true about SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.15,16 This means that when the virus is not infecting people, it is infecting animals. It's apparent the Chinese government knows this by some of the actions they've been taking.

Yet, while they believe household pets may carry the virus and spread it, they are not extending their measures to address the billions of wildlife that exist in the country with similar potential to carry the virus, even though they claim the virus first originated in a bat.

To reasonably achieve zero COVID in China, it would require killing every animal in the country and completely closing the borders to any travel in or out, including import of goods, unless those products were stopped at the border and a different crew took over the truck, plane, or train.

In other words, using the Chinese government's logic, China must be separated from the rest of the world. However, like all mass measures against millions of people, some information gets out. I must warn you that the rest of this article details just some of the atrocities being perpetrated on the people of China and the videos supporting these claims are disturbing to watch.

26 Million People Confined to Their Homes in Shanghai

To put what follows into perspective, on April 18, 2022, Reuters17 reported that Shanghai had experienced three deaths from the Omicron variant, which we now know produces no more than mild cold symptoms in most people.18 Reportedly, this was the first death in Shanghai of patients with COVID-19 in the current outbreak.

Shanghai continues to report asymptomatic COVID cases as well as symptomatic illnesses and has conducted more than 200 million nucleic acid tests since March 10, 2022. This all is an effort to achieve a zero COVID country. Yet, in an interview with government adviser Dr. Ivan Hung, ABC News19 learned that “eventually everyone will have to live with the virus,” which is far from having a zero-COVID state.

A phased lockdown in Shanghai began March 28, 2022, but by April 5, 2022, 26 million residents were under the single biggest citywide restrictions since the pandemic began.20 These lockdowns forced residents to stay in their homes and did not allow them to visit the grocery store to replenish food or to get medication from the pharmacy.

This affected hundreds of thousands of elderly in the city, which experts estimate accounts for nearly one-third of the Shanghai population.21 The South China Morning Post22 tells the plight of one elderly couple who, like others in their position, live alone and keep less than a week's worth of food at home.

At the start of the lockdown, the couple began rationing the food they had, hoping to make it through the lockdown or until government supplies could reach their home. Their daughter was also quarantined, and the couple was unable to use smartphones because of their eyesight.

In their case, a young couple in the compound began organizing help for all the elderly residents to get them food and supplies. But not every isolated older individual had this help. This video shows people trying to break out of a compound, shouting “We are starving!”23

Despite the strain on the city's logistics and delivery system that impacted food shortages, a video released on social media shows large quantities of fruits and vegetables delivered to a warehouse where they were opened and shoveled directly into garbage bins.24

One online list of people who have died because of the restrictions was deleted by the Chinese Communist Party-backed censors. Radio Free Asia25 reports that although a user saved it to a blockchain-based site, the URL was blocked. The site claimed more than 152 deaths were directly linked to the zero COVID restrictions and that these were “incomplete numbers.”

Among the names were a former official at the Hongkau district maternal and child health center after he committed suicide, a nurse who died from an asthma attack, the vice president of NETCOM Securities, who died from a stroke, and several suicides of people who died jumping from tall buildings.26

Brutality Used to Enforce Quarantine Orders and Vaccinations

After testing positive, residents are not allowed to quarantine in their homes but are transported to quarantine camps where they are packed into metal cell cities quickly erected around Shanghai. One shown on ABC News27 had 3,900 beds and was built in one week.

Residents who are unwilling to be transported to camps without adequate facilities, temperature control, or food are brutally grabbed off the street.28 The Guardian29 reported that in early April 2022, 30 hospitals across the city suspended operations.

In other words, as the government told their citizens they feared a rising number of cases and deaths, they also suspended operations at hospitals. Individuals began taking to social media to ask for help. The Guardian30 reported that one resident wrote “I’m not able to buy food. I have nothing left in my fridge. My neighborhood has been sealed off. I don’t know what to do.” And another:

“Our 90-year-old has diabetes. Before the lockdown, our doctor prescribed to us some medication to use at home because all the nurses were asked to help with Covid tests. Suddenly, Pudong was shut down, and we were unable to get the medication at all. Then we bought it online, but the delivery company was unable to send it to us because they are not delivering anything now.”

The cruelty against the citizens of China has not ended with the quarantine restrictions and the dangers associated with it. The Chinese government is anxious for all citizens to be vaccinated. To that end, they are hunting down people in the street31 and forcibly vaccinating adults and children.32

Sometimes they have broken into people's homes.33 In one video, you can hear a child screaming in fear while the adults are laughing.34 According to The Washington Post,35 critics of the restrictions of lockdown, brutality, and starvation consider these concerns to be an unavoidable cost of mass restrictions and no longer necessary since nearly 90% of the country is vaccinated.

Yet, officials continue to tell the citizens that relaxing restriction policies would lead to “an unsustainable surge in death.”36 However, despite more than 350,000 people who tested positive since March 1, 2022, either the country has discovered a cure, or the Omicron variant is really just a mild illness since only three unvaccinated people ages 89 to 91 have died, each of whom had preexisting medical conditions.

Shanghai Lockdown Adding Pressure to Global Supply Chain

In addition to the crimes against humanity, it's also important to recognize the economic damage caused by the citywide lockdown and the congestion in the port of Shanghai. The Epoch Times37 reports this lockdown will likely cause disruptions in logistics that will eventually exacerbate the global supply chain challenges, which began at the start of the pandemic.

One U.S. financial expert told The Epoch Times this could create greater inflationary pressure in the U.S. since Shanghai plays a crucial role in the manufacturing industry and exports to America. One survey done by the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai shows 167 U.S. companies that conduct business in Shanghai have lowered their forecasted revenues.

A shortage of staff, no raw materials, and slower production have impacted the manufacture and distribution of goods. The U.S. imports more than 15% of its products from China and will likely continue to feel the pinch of rising prices.

Pets Are Not Exempt in a Police State

Public criticism is also aimed at officials who are killing pets when owners are testing positive for the virus.38 Radio Free Asia reported the efforts of one Shanghai resident, Ji Xiaolong, who published a petition to authorities in Beijing while under lockdown.

After this he was warned about speaking out in public, but spoke to a Radio Free Asia reporter saying, "I hope my petition will be placed on Xi Jinping's desk," and that he has been taking multiple phone calls every minute from people across China since the petition was posted.

The petition followed closely on the heels of video footage of enforcement personnel beating a Corgi dog on the side of the road after the owner was taken away, having tested positive for COVID-19.

Radio Free Asia39 reports that in the video, one member of the local neighborhood committee said he poisoned the dog and then handed it over to the committee. This is only one example of pets in the city that have been abused and killed when their owners test positive for COVID-19.

After the incident, the committee responded: “At that time, the workers did not consider (the matter) very comprehensively. We will communicate with the owner and offer compensation later.”40

In another video, you can see six enforcers with long metal poles beating a very small dog to death41, and a third shows at least nine bags filled with pet cats on the curbside waiting to be killed.42

It isn’t difficult to imagine how locking down and starving residents, forcing vaccinations on children and adults, and abusing and destroying people’s pets is one more way of manipulating and controlling people to bow to the will of the elite.

One comment on Twitter seems to sum it up “Fear and hunger turn into bravery and anger against injustice. Ignorance and blind obedience turn into brutality and inhumanity.”

Yes, you read that right. HB 400 would allow dependents on an insurance policy to receive "sensitive health care services" without the policyholder being alerted.
Last year, a similar bill was introduced that never passed; the main difference was that it only applied to dependents between ages 18-26.
HB 400 clearly extends this practice to minor dependents.
Look at the "sensitive health care services" that your child would be able to receive without your knowledge.
I'm sure you're as outraged by that list as I am. Wouldn't you want to be notified if your child began taking experimental drugs that disrupt the natural puberty process, using your insurance coverage?
It's important to realize that this is just one of many policies, proposed and passed, that would give minors more easy access to these "sensitive services." Follow the trend:

Step 1: Increase the number of school-based health centers.

Step 2: Allow advanced practice registered nurses, many of whom are employed in these centers, to prescribe abortion pills. 

Step 3: Prevent policyholders -- parents -- from being notified when dependents receive these treatments.

Yes, this bill keeps coming back.

To recap: the original bill to legalize recreational marijuana, HB 150, was blocked in the House. But there are now two new bills that would essentially do the same thing: HB 371 and HB 372 w/ HA 1. 
In our last update, HB 371 was being heard in committee. What happened?

Committee hearings follow a consistent process for each bill:

1. The bill sponsor explains the bill, sometimes with the help of expert testimony.
2. Committee members ask questions or give comments. 
3. Finally, and most importantly, the public is given the opportunity to comment.

When HB 371 was heard, this protocol was blatantly ignored. Despite protest from Rep. Briggs King, the comment time for both the committee and the public was completely skipped, and the bill was brought straight to a vote. 

This blatant disregard for procedure was "rectified" by restarting the process. The bill is now back in committee, and will be heard at 11am on Tuesday.

Education
SB 232, the bill that would have required 10th and 12th graders to be assessed on basic US History and the rights and responsibilities of citizenship, failed in committee. This solid piece of legislation was disregarded as unnecessary.

Religious Freedom
SB 144 essentially defines a "hate crime" as a crime motivated by a "belief or perception" about the victim's characteristics. We explained in an earlier update how this subtle bill exposes a significant worldview problem.

A new amendment was proposed that removes threats from the criteria for whether desecration has occurred. Desecration in this bill applies to places of worship, burial places, schools, and monuments (this amendment also removes private property from this list).

Knowing this Assembly's history of proposing policies that elevate the protection of sexual orientation and gender identity above religious liberty, it is important to ask pointed questions and think critically through the implications of this bill.

It’s not Putin’s price hike, it’s Biden’s. And he insists on reminding us of that every few days.

The Biden administration on Monday reversed a Trump administration plan that would have allowed the government to lease more than two-thirds of the country’s largest swath of public land to oil and gas drilling.

The Bureau of Land Management’s decision will shrink the amount of land available for lease in the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska…

The decision returns to an Obama administration plan that allows fossil fuel extraction in up to 52% of the reserve, compared to the Trump administration’s effort to open up 82% of the land to drilling.

Nationally gas prices continue to rise, despite increased production, hitting an average of $4.13. Of course, where I live, people would wait on line for an hour to get $4.13 gas and consider $5.13 a mouthwatering bargain.

But that’s what happens when you put enviros in charge of a city, a state, or a country.

While Biden and his lackeys advise Americans to buy $55,000 electric cars, they fly jet planes everywhere and then keep blocking efforts to make America energy independent.
