The Biden administration has been selling away parts that were made and intended to be used to extend the southern border wall.

According to The New York Post, the unused parts of the border wall that the Biden administration has been quietly auctioning off are worth millions of dollars. Since April, GovPlanet, an online auction house that specializes in military surplus has sold over 80 lots of “square structural tubes.”

The parts that have been sold were intended to be used as vertical bollards in the border wall along the southern border. So far, the auction house has brought in around $2 million from the parts that have been sold.

The move by the Biden administration comes as the Senate passed a Republican-sponsored bill as part of its annual defense appropriation package which is aimed at forcing the president to stem the worsening migrant crisis at the southern border.

The Finish It Act would force the administration to extend the border wall or send the unused material to border states, such as Texas, so they can put them to use along their southern borders.

Republicans have claimed that since President Joe Biden took office, around $300 million worth of taxpayer-funded wall parts have been left unused.

The bill’s sponsor, Senator Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) denounced the decision by the administration to auction the parts away labeling it as “outrageous, behind-the-scenes maneuvering.”

“This sale is a wasteful and ludicrous decision by the Biden administration that only serves as further proof they have no shame,” Wicker told The New York Post.

The GovPlanet website reportedly increased its sales efforts in May when the bill was first introduced, and again just days after the bill passed on a bipartisan vote.

An anonymous source from the auction website told the Daily Upside, a financial newsletter, that they are under instruction to not speak on the issue.

“We are legally not allowed to mention these are the border wall materials, or we could lose our jobs,” the source told the financial newsletter.

In 2021, the Biden administration was criticized for spending around $2 billion on storage costs and termination fees as he tried to cancel the contracts for the border wall that were agreed to under President Donald Trump.

Trump had spent around $15 billion during his presidency to install a total of around 700 miles of border wall after he promised to build “an impenetrable, physical, tall, powerful, beautiful southern border wall.”

On Biden’s first day in office, he canceled the project calling it “a waste of money.”

As the border wall was canceled, illegal immigrants surged across the open border. U.S. Customs and Border Protection documented around 1.7 million migrant encounters along the southern border in fiscal year 2021 and around 2.4 million in 2022.

All the proceeds that GovPlanet receives from auctioning off the border wall parts will be heading back toward the Pentagon’s budget.

You may find this hard to believe, but there were times in my life when I was in charge of important things. Once upon a time, I was the program director and operations manager for two radio stations. No, really. As such, I had the power to hire people. That could prove to be a real rodeo from time to time, but that’s another story.Remember that this was a good twenty years before the dog days of DEI, so no one was breathing down our necks with rules, seminars, and classes designed to mandate who we hired. And we did reach out to minorities. Mainly, we tried to hire members of the local tribe. We reached out through the tribe’s newspaper, and we even actively recruited a few members, not because we had to but because we wanted to give a chance to anyone who had some talent or who wanted to develop their broadcasting skills. There was never much interest. This could have been attributed to the fact that our AM product was mainly conservative talk, but I honestly don’t know why.

Nowadays, discriminatory employment practices are legion — either because companies have gone woke or want to appear woke to avoid the twin ban-hammers of DEI and CRT. There has been some decline in that respect, but there are still pockets of it here and there, and I suspect it will be a feature of American companies for some time to come.

For example, the O’Keefe Media Group (OMG) recently uncovered the fact that Best Buy, that bastion of the Geek Squad and tons of fascinating technology that you never knew you needed (and probably don’t), is engaged in discriminatory HR practices. The flyer below is a little hard to read, even if you click on it, but it is an invitation to enroll in McKinsey & Company’s management training program. Many of the requirements are perfectly reasonable, but one requirement is not. Interested applicants must “Identify as Black, Latino, Hispanic or Pacific Islander.” It’s even a box that has to be checked on the application.

But wait! There’s more!

OMG talked with Enis Sujak, who is a member of the Geek Squad. Sujak told OMG that he witnessed religious bias on the job, along with an LGBTQ preference. Sujak reached out to OMG after walking out on a mandatory LGBTQ training. He was also sick of seeing rainbow flags, decorations, and paraphernalia around the buildings. Christian decorations were out because LGBTQ people might not like them. Sujak’s manager called him anti-LGBTQ. Sujak said that he is not anti-anything. He simply prefers not to be preached to or indoctrinated.

Sujak is more than likely out of a job. His chances of getting employment at a similar company are probably pretty bleak. But Sujak, a Serbian immigrant, understands something that most native-born people do not and that we have collectively forgotten. Sometimes standing up for what is right can carry a heavy cost, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do it.

“We’ve made this progress while maintaining the broad strength of our economy,” Biden said in a statement, noting that unemployment remained near 50-year lows.

“I’m sure they’ll find something,” Biden joked during a speech in New Mexico, referring to GOP criticisms of “Bidenomics.”

From the fourth quarter of 2020 to the fourth quarter of 2022, the U.S. housing market experienced one of the most significant increases in housing prices in American history. Data provided by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis show that over that two-year period, the average sales price of a home skyrocketed more than 36 percent, from $403,900 to a whopping $552,600.

For the first time in history, the 12-month increase in home prices topped 15 percent for seven quarters in a row, beginning in the second quarter of 2021.

Many current homeowners celebrated the unprecedented rise in housing values, but those rapid increases came with an important caveat: whenever housing prices increase as quickly as they have in recent years, an economic, stock market, and/or housing crash is almost certain to follow.

Then there’s the rest of the consumer price index, still making life miserable for most Americans.

The food index rose 0.2%, the energy index rose 0.1%, the fuel oil index rose 3%, the utility (piped) gas service index rose 2%, and the shelter index rose 0.4%, while the energy services index decreased 0.1%, the electricity index decreased 0.7%, the used cars and trucks index decreased 1.3%, and the medical care services index decreased 0.4%, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Biden doesn’t drive his own car much, so he probably hasn’t noticed that gas prices are on the rise again. Gas is up 8% since July 1.

According to eToro global market strategist Ben Laidler, the move in gas prices from $3.09 in December 2022 to the national average price on Monday at $3.83 is an extra annual cost of roughly $101 billion for US consumers in total (based on the estimate that Americans use roughly 375 million gallons of gas each day).

With where gas prices stand — and they should remain elevated — that means consumers have less money to spend elsewhere, such as discretionary purchases.

The last time gas prices surged, Biden decided to draw down the Strategic Petroleum Reserve by about 300 million barrels. Biden won’t have that fallback reserve if prices spike again — something that could very well happen given OPEC+ and their desire to squeeze the West. The cartel has finally got Saudi Arabia on board for steep production cuts, and The Kingdom doesn’t appear ready to do the West any favors and boost output anytime soon.

Alfredo Ortiz, chief executive officer and president of Job Creators Network, said in a Thursday statement, “This accelerating inflation shows the inflation fight is far from over, no matter what Democrats and the media say.”

“The Fed’s historic interest rate hikes have caused significant problems for small businesses and dramatically reduced their access to credit, but they haven’t been enough to overcome the Biden administration’s reckless spending and anti-energy policies responsible for persistent Bidenflation,” he added.

Talk of “recession” has faded among the moneymen and high priests of finance on Wall Street. But 60% of Americans still give Joe Biden terrible marks on the economy. As American kids head back to school, the economic outlook is forcing parents to rein in their spending as they take a wait-and-see attitude toward the future.

It seems like it was only Monday that Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) told the entire country Devon Archer testified that Joe Biden merely exchanged pleasantries with Hunter Biden’s foreign business partners. According to Goldman, Joe Biden merely spoke of the weather and didn’t even know who he was talking to during the more than twenty times he participated in their meetings.Without a transcript of the testimony, Goldman could claim anything, no matter how absurd, and the media would echo those claims — which they did. Even the White House attempted to laugh off the testimony as a nothing burger.

“It appears that the House Republicans’ own much-hyped witness today testified that he never heard of President Biden discussing business with his son or his son’s associates, or doing anything wrong,” White House spokesperson Ian Sams told Fox News Digital. “House Republicans keep promising bombshell evidence to support their ridiculous attacks against the President, but time after time, they keep failing to produce any.”

But Fox News Digital has obtained the transcript of Archer’s testimony, and there’s really no way to spin it as anything but damning.

According to the transcript, Archer testified that Hunter Biden used his “very powerful name” to “add value” in pitching and securing foreign business ventures. But Hunter was sly about it: he wouldn’t “overtly” say that he’d use his dad as leverage.

“Defensive leverage that the value is there in his work,” Archer explained. “The value that Hunter Biden brought to it was having—you know, there was—the theoretical was corporate governance, but obviously, given the brand, that was a large part of the value,” Archer continued. “I don’t think it was the sole value, but I do think that was a key component of the value.”

Archer testified that Hunter put his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, on speakerphone during meetings with their business partners at least 20 times to sell “the brand.”

“Obviously, that brought the most value to the brand,” Archer said. “It was Hunter Biden and him.”

When questioned about whether Archer and Hunter Biden would convey to their business partners that they had “unique access” due to Biden’s position, Archer concurred. “Yes, we would say we had a unique understanding of D.C. and how it operates and how that, you know, could positively reflect on the terms of our business.”

That unique access was critical to Hunter and Archer getting high-paid board positions at Burisma. Archer testified that Hunter Biden used the Biden “brand” to get “doors opened,” which “sent the right signals” for Burisma to “carry on its business and be successful.”

In fact, access to Joe Biden was so critical, that Archer said he believes “Burisma would have gone out of business if it didn’t have the brand attached to it,” and that Burisma was “able to survive” for as long as it did “just because of the brand.”

Joe Biden infamously pressured the Ukrainian government to fire Viktor Shokin, who was investigating Burisma at the time, by leveraging a $1 billion loan appropriated by Congress. Archer testified that Burisma CEO Mykola Zlochevsky and Vadym Pozharskyi asked Hunter to call “D.C” to help them out of that situation.

“They requested Hunter, you know, help them with some of that pressure,” Archer said. “You know, government pressure from Ukrainian government investigations into Mykola, et cetera.”

Archer testified that Hunter Biden placed a call to his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, after the request for help, but he did not hear the phone call that took place. Five days following Hunter Biden’s call to his father, Joe Biden traveled to Ukraine.

In short: they weren’t talking about the weather.

The House Select Committee on Strategic Competition between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) have announced that they are launching an investigation into BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, and MSCI, one of the world’s largest providers of index funds. 

The committee reportedly sent letters to BlackRock CEO Larry Fink and MSCI CEO Henry Fernandez on Monday notifying them that it is launching an investigation regarding their affairs with certain Chinese companies.

“Our review has shown that, as a direct result of decisions made by MSCI, these Americans are now unwittingly funding PRC companies that develop and build weapons for the People’s Liberation Army (PLA)—the PRC’s military—and advance the CCP’s stated mission of technological supremacy,” wrote the Select Committee’s Chairman, Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-Wis.), and its ranking member, Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-Ill.).

The letter further indicated that by sending large amounts of money to companies linked to the Chinese military and human rights abusers, BlackRock and MSCI are “exacerbating an already significant national security threat and undermining American values.” 

The committee claimed that BlackRock invested more than $429 million across five funds linked to Chinese companies that “act directly against the interests of the United States.” 

They also found at least 40 companies listed on the MSCI indexes that are on governmental “red-flag” lists.

“The majority of our clients’ investments in China are through index funds, and we are one of 16 asset managers currently offering U.S. index funds investing in Chinese companies,” BlackRock said in a statement. “With all investments in China and markets around the world, BlackRock complies with all applicable US government laws. We will continue engaging with the Select Committee directly on the issues raised.”

MSCI indicated that they have complied with all U.S. laws and are currently in the process of reviewing the committee’s request for information.

GOP presidential contender Ron DeSantis has had trouble getting his campaign into gear, but that might change with Monday’s release of an explosive economic plan promising that “Our policies can no longer be driven by the ruling class.”

Billed as a “Declaration of Economic Independence,” the Florida governor’s national agenda takes on the Washington swamp, illegal immigration and fentanyl at our chaotic southern border, the Chinese Communist Party, economic malaise, and more.

“We want to be a country that makes things” is a top-line item in the DeSantis agenda, “where a family can raise children on a single income.”

To do that, “We will declare our economic independence” from:

  • the failed elites that have orchestrated American decline;
  • the profligate federal spending that has inflated prices and plunged our nation to the brink of insolvency;
  • the Chinese Communist Party that has run circles around us for a generation;
  • central planners who seek to advance their political agendas at the expense of the standard of living for the average American;
  • destructive policies like the Green New Deal that seek to hinder our domestic energy production;
  • a class of progressive corporations looking out for every interest except for that of the American people.

The Swamp won’t like the governor’s promise to “use his Article II authority to prohibit federal grants to entities that engage in active discrimination through DEI or other unconstitutional initiatives” and restore Clinton/Gingrich “work requirements for welfare programs.”

Nor is the public education establishment safe, with a promise to support “school choice nationwide, protect parental rights, reform accreditation, and steer funding towards programs and institutions that support the jobs of the future.”

The agenda also declares war on so-called ESG corporate governance, promising that “There will be no ideological litmus test for getting a loan, establishing a bank account, or running a business,” and that as president, “DeSantis will instruct the DOJ Civil Rights Division and relevant agencies to root out discrimination under the false guises of diversity, equity, and inclusion.”

TL;DR: Reaganesque in its boldness, particularly the “We win, they lose” tagline, which was how Ronald Reagan himself summarized his Cold War foreign policy. But 40-plus years later, our most worrisome enemies of liberty are in Washington. Monday’s announcement recognizes that sad fact in a multitude of ways.

DeSantis has seen his support wither compared to frontrunner Donald Trump, as he started his campaign with a focus on his anti-woke agenda. While that’s paying such dividends in Florida, it’s largely a state and local issue. What he and his campaign seemed to have forgotten is that DeSantis is running for President of the United States, not Governor of America. Americans usually vote our pocketbooks, not whether we want a president to reform a particular leftwing university or strip a major corporation of special state tax privileges.

Is Monday’s big reveal enough to reboot the DeSantis campaign? On its own, no, not even close. But DeSantis is working, belatedly, to change the conversation to something much more appropriate to a presidential race. The agenda reveal could be too little, too late, but I’m curious to see how DeSantis sells it during the first GOP presidential debate, hosted by Fox News in Milwaukee on August 23.

Attorney General Merrick Garland and the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) are being sued by America First Legal (AFL) for failing to require Hunter Biden to register as a foreign agent under the Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA) during the Obama Administration, and for failing to publicly address the situation afterward.

Although Garland is named as a defendant in the case, the AFL claims date back to the Obama White House era when Hunter Biden actively represented the Ukrainian energy business Burisma in negotiations. According to the lawsuit, it is a violation of FARA under 22 U.S.C. 611(b).

When dealing with the Obama White House and, specifically, the office of then-Vice President Joe Biden, Hunter Biden represented Burisma and its interests “as a foreign principal,” according to email evidence cited by the AFL in another lawsuit against the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA).

An “agent of a foreign principal” is described as “any person who acts as an agent, representative, employee, or servant, or any person who acts in any other capacity at the order, request, or under the direction or control, of a foreign principal or of a person any of whose activities are directly or indirectly supervised, directed, controlled, financed, or subsidized in whole or in major part by a foreign principal,” Under FARA.

According to an email from August 2, 2017, that was recovered from Hunter’s abandoned laptop, Ye Jianming, the chairman of the CEFC China Energy, a Chinese government-linked corporation, had offered a three-year consultancy deal between the company and Hunter Biden, under which Hunter would receive $10 million per year “for introductions alone.”

James Biden, the first brother, was also a party to the arrangement.

Justice Department last week charged U.S. citizen Gal Luft with violating FARA by allegedly accepting at least $700,000 from CEFC China Energy to his Maryland-based Institute for the Analysis of Global Security think tank in exchange for cohosting conferences and attempting to sway a 2016 Donald Trump campaign advisor. This sum is significantly less than the Biden family received.

The complaint claims that neither Garland compelled Hunter Biden to register as a foreign agent nor followed the law to grant him a FARA waiver. A DOJ probe is requested.

Lake of the Hills, Illinois is a fairly quiet and relatively conservative village located northwest of Chicago. As we have reported previously, the LGBT movement has begun going into those towns to subvert the area’s local culture by publicly “normalizing” the homosexual and transgender sexual agenda.

A woman who describes herself as a “queer activist” had opened a bakery named “Uprising Bakery” in a strip mall in the town. In June 2022, she began advertising that her bakery would be hosting Drag Queen shows in the evenings for the public to attend beginning July 23 – and children specifically were welcomed. “Get your dollar bills ready!” was part of the advertisement – and that clearly implied lewd adult entertainment.

Parents in Lake of the Hills were outraged and upset. They began protesting every day near the strip mall entrance. Their message was simple: They demanded that there be no “Drag Queen” events involving children.

The leaders of the group contacted MassResistance, and their group soon became an Illinois MassResistance chapter.

Some parents attended a few of the Drag Queen shows at the bakery. What they saw was ghastly: a celebration of a sexual fetish. The Drag Queens were weird men in women’s clothes prancing around and dancing suggestively, using a lot of four-letter words and other profane language. There were strange-looking adults and innocent-looking children in attendance.

The parents took photos and videos, which they posted on social media and sent to the village public officials. In one of the videos, a little boy can be heard saying, “I don’t think I should be here.”

Liquor was also being served. The bakery had somehow gotten a liquor license, and according to one of the parents, was cited at one point for serving liquor to a minor.

The problems were not only inside the bakery but also outside. There were very strange people walking through the parking lot area.

A “violent hate crime” – and the Governor gets involved

The night before the first Drag Queen show, someone came and broke some of the windows at the Uprising Bakery and sprayed “hateful messages” on the wall. A man was soon arrested. The man had driven to Lake of the Hills from a suburb south of Chicago and allegedly had “Proud Boys” literature openly in his car. None of the parents had any idea who he was. It’s widely suspected to be a “false-flag” operation conducted by the Left – a frequently deployed tactic.

But this ignited the “anti-LGBT hate crime” hysteria. A few days later, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker and the region’s State Representative visited the bakery and made speeches about “the rising tide of hate against our LGBTQ+ neighbors and friends.”

Violation of zoning laws – and the ACLU

In most places, the local zoning laws do not allow a bakery in a strip mall to have adult entertainment.

The Lake in the Hills officials immediately realized that problem. On July 30, the village sent out a press release and notified the bakery owner that her business is “conducting activities that it is not permitted to conduct” under the zoning laws.

But later that same day, the Chicago chapter of the far-left American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) sent a letter to the Village accusing them of “unconstitutional retaliation against Uprising Bakery,” claiming that the Drag shows are not “entertainment events” and not a violation of the zoning laws.

The village officials were clearly rattled by that. This led to a Zoom meeting between the ACLU lawyers and the local officials with their legal counsel. Basically, the Lake of the Woods officials completely backed down and came up with a shameful, contorted line of reasoning of how the bakery was actually in compliance with the law. Basically, they stated that the Drag shows were not “entertainment” and were not “adult-oriented” but instead were “family-friendly.”

Outrage at their elected officials

The village officials’ reasoning defied normal observation and logic, and the people were fuming that their officials were acting so cowardly and dishonestly. They filled the village board meetings, but the officials just continued to repeat their talking points – or else just ignore the parents.

The parents even found a lawyer who would file a zoning complaint for free against the town. But they needed a business owner or resident who lived within a few blocks of the bakery to join in the suit. The parents went door to door but no one would do it. They were all afraid of retribution by LGBT activists.

The bakery gives up on Drag Queen shows

The parents continued their daily protests outside the strip mall. And people in the community continued to voice their outrage against a bakery whose real purpose seemed to be to push perversion on the community, including innocent children.

Finally, the bakery gave up. The owner announced that their Dec. 24 Drag Queen show would be for adults only, no children allowed. At that point, the parents stopped their protests. But the Dec. 24 show got moved to Dec. 31, 2022. There was a small turnout. And it was the last Drag Queen event they held. The parents won!

Goes out of business

As 2023 began, the Uprising Bakery was struggling. A big problem was that they really hadn’t been a serious bakery. Their products were sub-par – even according to their pro-LGBT friends. They also had trouble keeping staff. And many in the community continued boycotting them.

The owner turned to GoFundMe for help paying the bills. She would rant on social media about “hate” and “violence” being generated against her business, though there was no actual proof. She raised over $50,000 from across the country. But that was not enough. On May 31, the Uprising Bakery closed for good.

Final thoughts

This is a story about parents who refused to give up. Some people might say, “Who cares what a private business does? Just forget about it.” That’s what the Left wants you to think. But this affected the community in a very bad way.

As everyone knows, when a private business is doing something pro-family that the Left doesn’t approve of, they react with unrestrained viciousness. (Just ask Mike Lindell!) Compare that to our side, which reacts firmly and on principle – but remains reasonable and civilized.

PJ Media readers are unlikely to miss Ben & Jerry’s Commie ice cream if all its American stores close, and the Bolshevik entrepreneurs are unlikely to be so consistent as to shut down all their operations in the U.S., but that was the upshot of a July 4 Ben & Jerry’s tweet: “This 4th of July, it’s high time we recognize that the US exists on stolen Indigenous land and commit to returning it. Learn more and take action now: https://benjerrys.co/46vrYu3.”

The link goes to a piece of weepy propaganda demanding the destruction of Mount Rushmore, but surely Ben & Jerry’s doesn’t think that only the area of South Dakota that is occupied by four massive presidents’ heads is stolen indigenous land, do they? Time for Ben & Jerry’s to shutter all its stores on the North American continent. And everywhere else, for that matter, for consistency’s sake.

The propaganda piece on Ben & Jerry’s website begins: “Ah, the Fourth of July. Who doesn’t love a good parade, some tasty barbecue, and a stirring fireworks display? The only problem with all that, though, is that it can distract from an essential truth about this nation’s birth: The US was founded on stolen Indigenous land. This year, let’s commit to returning it. Here’s why we need to start with Mount Rushmore.” All right. But we can’t end there with a good conscience, can we?

Once Washington, Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Lincoln have been dynamited and the Sioux Nation is granted total sovereignty over that part of South Dakota, all will be well, right? No, not at all. Ben & Jerry’s laments that “the Great Sioux Nation, as the tribes in the area were collectively known, was forced to surrender its land and relocate to smaller reservations on land that the government considered ‘useless.’ From there, in 1927, they watched as their holy mountain, now located on land known as South Dakota, was desecrated and dynamited to honor their colonizers, four white men — two of whom enslaved people and all of whom were hostile to Indigenous people and values.” Gee, that’s a shame, but where did the Sioux get the land? They must have lived there since time immemorial, right?

Not quite. The Sioux drove another Native American tribe, the Arikara, out of the area in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. They didn’t coexist in peace. They didn’t make some marvelous deal to the mutual benefit of both parties. The Sioux drove the Arikara out by force of arms. So if the U.S. blows up Mount Rushmore and gives the land back to the Sioux, the Sioux have to turn around and give it back to the Arikara, right? If we’re being consistent here.

Also, Ben & Jerry’s is headquartered in South Burlington, Vt. Is that any less stolen indigenous land than Mount Rushmore? Ben & Jerry’s should lead the way by giving its land in South Burlington back to the Abenaki and heading back to… where? Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, besides being limousine-Left Marxists, are Jews, but they hate Israel as much as they hate America, so they aren’t likely to want to go back there. For some reason, their concern about native people having their land stolen from them doesn’t apply to the indigenous people of Israel (the Jews, that is, not the Arabs, who only arrived there in the seventh century).

The uncomfortable fact behind Ben & Jerry’s propaganda is that pretty much the entire world is stolen land at this point. Human history is a history of conquest and occupation. The idea that the United States is somehow uniquely stolen land while the rest of the world is occupied by native peoples is naïve and ahistorical. If Ben & Jerry’s were to follow through on its determination to return land to its indigenous owners, it will have virtually no place anywhere to sell its ice cream.

But of course, Ben & Jerry’s doesn’t really care about stolen land or indigenous people at all. Its objective is not justice; it’s virtue-signaling and appealing to the woke to buy more desserts. The Commie ice cream salesmen are engaging in that most capitalist of endeavors: appealing to their customers based on shared values so as to sell more of their product. And that’s why patriots should respond to Ben & Jerry’s call to destroy Mount Rushmore by giving them the incentive to shutter their stores that exist on occupied territory: don’t buy their ice cream. Put Ben & Jerry’s on the path of Bud Light. It’s a matter of simple justice.

The betrayal of Target gets more horrifying the closer you look. The growing movement to boycott the retailer is justified by its sale of offensive “pride” items to adults as well as children. And then there’s Target’s partnership with an avowed satanist designer.

But at the top of my long list of Target sins is the company’s proud support of one of the most radical groups existing in America today.

Target has been a generous donor to the tune of over $2 million to the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, GLSEN, and a senior brand manager at Target also serves on the GLSEN board as treasurer.

What’s the problem with GLSEN? The group’s three- decade goal has been to insert the homosexual and gender distortion agenda into K -12 schools through a variety of actions and I would say that the word “target” absolutely describes what GLSEN has been doing to other people’s children.

But Target is not alone in linking arms with pawns of the devil. Kohl’s also donates to this group. And now the Girl Scouts award a “pride” badge after Scouts complete a number of questionable activities. They can report on the “contributions” of homosexual outlaws such as Harvey Milk (a known pederast) or learn “key concepts and terms” (i.e., the phony “pride” lexicon) from GLSEN. And to complete the seduction of wide-eyed innocents, Girl Scouts may consult GLSEN’s book recommendations.

Why not just send Girl Scouts directly to porn sites? Because that’s what these books contain. More on that later.

Allow me to share for a moment the reasons I have tracked and reported on the actions of GLSEN for over twenty years. It grieves my heart to think about impressionable children and teens being exploited by this organization, its activities and its teacher members.

Often the children most attracted to exploring “LGBTQ” identities and behaviors are those who are lonely and lost, neglected at home, given little supervision about online garbage they may encounter (including porn), and usually unchurched. They may have been molested somewhere along the way. They crave a sense of belonging and are easy to manipulate. At the most pivotal and vulnerable time of adolescence, here comes the ice cream truck selling rainbow-and -“love”- adorned poison.

Poor, deceived kids!! Where is the church of Jesus Christ in calling out to stop the evil actions of GLSEN and other groups like them? I wrote an article several years back urging people to pray for GLSEN and other groups. And we absolutely should.

But until these folks turn to the Lord, the damage they are doing needs to be stopped-- in a civil way, of course, using our votes, our voices and our wallets.

GLSEN’s first mission was to establish high school homosexual clubs, called “gay-straight alliances.” Current clubs are often called “gender and sexuality alliances“ to include all the many genders these extremists sadly persuade children they can be. After high school clubs, GLSEN pushed middle school clubs and now even a few elementary schools offer this blatant corruption to children.

Then, GLSEN also had an early goal to promote homosexual-themed books for adolescents featuring a “Book Link” that listed the group’s recommendations.

I spent some time reading those early books. After I stopped crying (and then screaming) about the deviant content, I was determined to do what I could to expose GLSEN’s vile  “outreach” to youth.

The content of those early GLSEN books is uniformly pro-homosexual and pro-gender distortion. They subtly or overtly mock and twist Christianity with unflattering portrayals of believers. There’s no balance, no “inclusion” of the sweet fellowship of the body of Christ, of the beauty of sexual virtue as God designed, and the positive impact Christ’s followers have on communities and America.

And even in 2002, GLSEN chose books with graphic sex scenes between homosexual teens, including hook-ups. Several titles featured adults reminiscing about their first sexual experiences as teens, encounters which involved adult partners.

In other words, GLSEN was giving tacit approval through these narratives for sex between adults and minors.

After several years of publicizing GLSEN’s predatory “Book Link,” I noticed that the link was no longer available. But that didn’t mean GLSEN was quitting. No, in more recent years, GLSEN’s determination to reach children morphed into its book collections that companies like Target and other donors can sponsor. These are then donated, unfortunately, to schools.

The reality is that there are now hundreds of books for kids with “LGBTQ” themes, many more than existed when GLSEN began this project. Virtually all of them include twisted “woke” sexual and gender ideology and many also feature XXX- rated material. Consider just one, for instance—a book called George by Alex Gino, which appears on both the middle and high school recommendations. “Age inappropriate” does not begin to cover the problems with this book.

So GLSEN is a purveyor and promoter of pornography. Target, Kohl’s and Girl Scouts, by promoting GLSEN, are helping to distribute obscene material to children throughout the country.

GLSEN also conducts an online survey with invalid results, its “School Climate Survey.” Sadly, this survey is often used in legislative testimony to advocate for elements of the “LGBTQ” agenda. The survey is a sham. I know of conservative adults who have taken the “Climate Survey” posing as “LGBTQ” teens, just to see if they could. It worked. Which means that this survey’s results can be manipulated by faux participants to achieve whatever findings GLSEN wants. Anyone can log in, pose as an adolescent, and claim to be misunderstood or “unsafe.”

This is GLSEN’s term for being around people who object to homosexuality and gender distortion, and physical violence is not the issue. That’s already punished under every school conduct code. Kids who have been persuaded to identify as “LGBTQ” are told they are only “safe” around those who verbally approve. Disapproval is not allowed. This is “inclusion,” GLSEN believes. GLSEN produces  “Safe Space” posters so that teacher/counselor supporters can mark their territory (and thereby exclude those without the right viewpoint).

Then there’s GLSEN’s recent support of excluding parents from the lives of children. Many schools have adopted secret “transgender support plans” that allow for teachers and staff to accommodate a child’s gender confusion during the school day while concealing that action from parents. GLSEN has a model policy that has sadly been adopted by many school districts.

And to round out its anti-parent, child corruption reputation, the GLSEN web site recently added escape instructions for kids. “Leave this site safely“” appears on a pop-up screen at the initial site visit, apparently for kids who want to conceal their visit from parents.

So GLSEN is not a friend to parents. But Target, Kohl’s and the Girl Scouts love them.

Just one more reason, friends, to boycott all of them. And also, while we’re at it, to eject GLSEN from every school in America.

When Target was revealed to be selling transgender clothing targeting children in its stores, the backlash resulted in billions of dollars of lost market value for the corporate retail giant. In a desperate attempt to minimize the damage and avoid a “Bud Light situation,” several stores in select markets moved the pride collection of merchandise away from the fronts of their stores and pared it down significantly.

This, of course, angered LGBTQ activists.

“Target should put the products back on the shelves and ensure their Pride displays are visible on the floors, not pushed into the proverbial closet,” Human Rights Campaign President Kelley Robinson said in a statement last month. “That’s what the bullies want.”

After years of priding itself as an ally of the LGBTQ community, Target’s efforts to minimize the fallout from its pride collection put the company at risk of another wave of backlash from the very community it was pandering to. And that backlash has come in the form of threats of violence.

According to a report from Fox News Digital, Target stores in at least five states received bomb threats in response to the company’s efforts to scale back the pride merchandise promotion in the hopes of quelling the outrage. The threats accused Target of betraying the LGBTQ community, were reported in Oklahoma, New York, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Louisiana. However, no explosives were found in any of the targeted stores. According to the reports, similar threats had previously been made against Target stores in Ohio, Utah, and Pennsylvania.

“You have betrayed the LGBTQ+ community. You are pathetic cowards who bowed to the wishes of far-right extremists who want to exterminate us,” one threatening email sent to a Louisiana store read. “We will not tolerate intolerance nor indifference. If you are not with us then you are against us. That is why we placed a bomb in each of your locations, evacuate now as this is only to cause economic damage.”

“We are going to play a game,” another email sent to an Oklahoma location read. “2 of these Target locations have bomb in them. We hid bombs inside some product items. The bombs will detonate in several hours, guess which ones have the bombs. Time is ticking. 4/19/1995.”

The date referenced in the email is the date of the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City.

No explosives were found in any of the locations. But what does this tell you? Those who objected to Target grooming children in their stores responded by voting with their wallets. LGBTQ activists responded to Target’s mild capitulation with threats of violence and death.

That should tell you all you need to know about the so-called “pride community.”

The CEO Behind Target’s Corporate Culture War

Target projects over $1 billion in losses due in large part to shoplifting. And that is its own fault.

Target CEO Brian Cornell responded to the BLM race riots with a memo claiming that, “the murder of George Floyd has unleashed the pent-up pain of years, as have the killings of Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor.” Much of that pain was directed at robbing Target.

After a massive wave of arson and looting, targeted its own chain stores, Target doubled down on its Racial Equity Action and Change strategy. The Target Foundation was one of the signatories of the Philanthropic Collective to Combat Anti-Blackness & Realize Racial Justice statement attacking the criminal justice system.

Target committed to racial quotas for its workforce and forced diversity and inclusion training on employees. Kiera Fernandez, Target’s Chief Diversity and Inclusion executive, warned that employees had to go along with the DEI agenda “to be a part of this company.”

Meanwhile people were being stabbed and shot at Target locations around the country.

A 9-year-old boy was among those stabbed by a homeless psycho with a butcher knife at a Los Angeles Target and a 17-year-old teen was shot and killed behind another store in the same city. A 19-year-old was shot and killed in a San Francisco Target parking lot.  Earlier this year a gunman opened fire at an Omaha Target and a 23-year-old was shot and killed at a St. Paul Target store.

These are just a few of the crimes that have been committed in the vicinity of Target stores.

“The unfortunate fact is violent incidents are increasing at our stores and across the entire retail industry,” Cornell admitted, which is “putting significant pressure on our financial results.”

Rather than commit to law enforcement, Target chose to run away from it and championed anti-police and pro-crime radicals. This shortchanged shareholders, but was part of its larger commitment to leftist social agendas under the ESG umbrella.

In 2016, Target became the first major department store to allow men, who falsely claim to be women, to use changing rooms meant for women and girls.

Conservatives launched a boycott and Target suffered a 7% drop in sales. But the retail giant doubled down, declaring that, “we stand for equality and equity” and that we “welcome transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity.”

Target’s equity policy made it all too easy for a series of incidents in which men photographed, shot videos and otherwise spied on women and girls in dressing rooms and bathrooms. The perpetrators included a man recording underage girls.

Now Target has lost an estimated $10 billion in value after promoting “chest binders”. These dangerous and damaging pieces of equipment are meant to groom girls into identifying as boys. The chest binders were allegedly being sold in sizes as small as XS. The company also offered baby onesies and bibs promoting transgenderism.

Target removed some of the worst items from its shelves, but CEO Cornell apologized to “the LGBTQIA+ community” claiming that he was trying to “alleviate these threats to our team’s physical and psychological safety” while assuring sexual identity activists that he was worried how backing away from grooming kids would “impact you and your wellbeing and psychological safety.”

The most serious of the bomb threats came from an angry transgender activist who claimed to have placed bombs in five Ohio and Pennsylvania Target locations and warned, “we will continue to bomb your targets until you stop cowering and bring back your LGBT merchandise.”

Cornell showed little interest in the “physical and psychological safety” of Target employees when people were being shot and stabbed at its stores. Target stores have been regularly robbed, looted and burned without any sympathy for Target employees. And there’s been no support for female employees and customers forced to cope with men using their facilities.

Target’s decision to put woke politics over its customers and shareholders has been disastrous.

Cornell claimed that Target’s “focus on diversity and inclusion and equity has fueled much of our growth over the last nine years.” In reality, it’s lost the company billions of dollars.

Target has generated repeated boycotts because of its hostility to family values and its support for pro-crime groups has helped unleash a wave of lawless violence and thefts. The chain’s multi-billion dollar commitments to racial discrimination in its supply chain, staffing and philanthropy have fed a larger breakdown in trust and unity inside and outside its business.

The question is whether Target’s shareholders are tired of bleeding cash for DEI and ESG.

Target’s largest shareholders include ESG stalwarts like Vanguard and BlackRock. Unless the corporation feels a great deal of pain, Vanguard and BlackRock will keep on subsidizing Target’s social justice policies the way that they do with so many other major woke corporations. And what Vanguard and BlackRock want matters more than what individual shareholders do.

Last year, Target scrapped its retirement age and announced that Cornell, like Xi, would be staying on even as the stores were struggling, but there will be no change unless it begins at the top.

Cornell had taken the lead in pushing the new woke corporate mantras, and he has doubled down on arguing that “it’s the right thing for society, and it’s the great thing for our brand”.

ESG is based on this false linkage between leftist politics, “the right thing for society”, and sound business practices. State regulations and consumer boycotts are attacking ESG at the level of pure profit and loss. If ESG delivers losses, not profits, it will become unsustainable.

That is why the corporate culture war matters.

Good business and social agendas are incompatible. The Target boycott, like the Bud Light boycott and the battering that Disney has taken in Florida, has the opportunity to hammer that message home. And if that happens, Cornell’s job and much of Target’s wokeness will go with it.

CEO Brian Cornell has turned over Target to criminals and perverts. By putting agendas ahead of profits, he has hurt shareholders, damaged the brand and betrayed his responsibilities.

It’s time for him to go.

Target has faced enormous criticism for its recent efforts to cater to the transgender community in recent weeks after the national retailer introduced a “Pride collection” across its stores, featuring merchandise, clothing, and books promoting transgender-friendly messages and leftist gender ideology. What made this particularly troubling was that the products were not just for adults but also for young children and babies. Target also ensured that these products were prominently displayed at the front of its stores, forcing everyone who entered to be exposed to its rainbow-colored propaganda.

In response to the mounting backlash, Target held an emergency meeting and instructed certain store locations, mainly in rural Southern areas, to relocate and reduce the size of their Pride sections to avoid a situation similar to the Bud Light controversy.

“I think given the current situation with Bud Light, the company is terrified of a Bud Light situation,” a Target insider said.

Well, it looks like they couldn’t contain the damage. Just a week ago, Target’s stock closed at $160.96 per share, resulting in a market capitalization of $74.3 billion. However, early trading on Thursday showed a 1% decrease, with shares trading at $141.76. As a result, the market value has fallen to $65.3 billion — a 12% drop and a staggering loss of $9 billion in market capitalization.

Boycotts are generally seen as ineffective for various reasons. However, the boycott of Anheuser-Busch and Bud Light, prompted by their controversial partnership with Dylan Mulvaney, a TikTok influencer who pretends to be a girl, defied precedent. The boycott resulted in a significant decrease in demand for Bud Light, with sales down more than 28%. Anheuser-Busch has lost a reported $16 billion in market value since the boycott began. Now, the Target boycott appears to have had a similar impact on its business as the Bud Light boycott.

Anheuser-Busch is desperately trying to repair the damage done to its brand, and so far, those efforts have been unsuccessful. Will Target have a similar mea culpa in light of its stock tanking?

At the moment, the answer is no. The CEO of Target, Brian Cornell, recently expressed that he thinks going woke is good for the company.

“I think those are just good business decisions, and it’s the right thing for society, and it’s the great thing for our brand,” Cornell said. “The things we’ve done from a DE&I [diversity, equity, and inclusion] standpoint, it’s adding value.”

He added, “It’s helping us drive sales, it’s building greater engagement with both our teams and our guests, and those are just the right things for our business today.”

Will Cornell think differently after what’s happening to Target’s stock?

Not yet. According to an internal company email, Target is still woke as ever, transitioning (see what I did there?) from its sadness over the backlash to its pride collection to acknowledging the three-year anniversary of George Floyd’s death and offering resources to employees who might need some emotional support.

“Yesterday was a very hard day for Target, and as CEO Brian Cornell said, thank you for the care you’ve shown each other, our frontline teams, and the LGBTQIA+ community,” the email began. “Today brings more reflection, pain, and the need for continued care as our team, hometown, and world remember the anniversary of the murder of George Floyd. As you make space to take care of yourself and each other, know that you can always tap into these tools from Team Member Life Resources, and as Mental Health Awareness Month continues, turn to the Take Five to Take Care hub for more well-being support.”

Unlike Anheuser-Busch, Target clearly hasn’t realized it made a mistake. The company fully endorses wokeism and believes it’s the company’s future. It’s going to take a lot more to change the culture of Target.

The next Bud Light catastrophe is here, and it couldn’t have happened to a better corporation that has had a reckoning coming since they allowed men to invade their women’s bathrooms. Target has topped the list of stores for all rational people to boycott after they introduced a new “Pride” line of products created by a self-described satanist.Several of the designs glorify violence against so-called “homophobes and transphobes,” which we all know actually means anyone who doesn’t want explicit gay pornography and sexual content shown to kids. Here’s one showcasing a guillotine for homophobes parents who want to protect their kids from sexualization. It’s kind of hilarious that the transgender and queer activists are now just embracing what we all knew was true: they’re satanic weirdos.

The designer’s Instagram explains that this product line is proselytization of satanism to vulnerable American kids. Would Target ever sell Christian propaganda items that tried to recruit more Christians? Would they sell things that said, “Jesus loves you?”

Satan loves you and respects who you are; you’re important and valuable in this world and you deserve to treat yourself with love and respect. LGBT+ people are so often referred to as being a product of Satan or going against God’s will, so fine. We’ll hang with Satan instead.

Satanists don’t actually believe in Satan, he is merely used as a symbol of passion, pride, and liberty. He means to you what you need him to mean. So for me, Satan is hope, compassion, equality, and love.

So, naturally, Satan respects pronouns. He loves all LGBT+ people. I went with a variation of Baphomet for this design, a deity who themself is a mixture of genders, beings, ideas, and existences. They reject binary stereotypes and expectations. Perfect.

Here are some more satanic items glorifying body-destroying cross-sex hormone use that says, “do shots with me.”

The examples of the heinous recruitment tools go on and on. One pin shows a medieval weapon with the words “we bash back” on it. Other items include a mug that says “gender fluid” and tuck-friendly bathing suits for both male adults and male children. “Tuck-friendly” refers to the dangerous practice of penis tucking, which can cause major injury. (Ever heard of testicular torsion?)

Target also sells chest binders for girls that will inhibit breast growth and can lead to broken ribs and lifelong pain. These items, so far, have not been removed. Alex Stein went to Target and tried on a “tuck-friendly” bathing suit. As funny as this is, keep in mind, this is what Target thinks is good for your kids. They also may want to rethink that tuck-friendly technology. Either Stein has a massive twig and berries situation or their technology is a total failure.

Several TikTok videos showing moms fed up with Target’s antagonistic position toward families with children are going viral, and Target executives are getting nervous. Many stores in the American South have moved their Pride displays from the front of the store to the back of the store and have reduced the number of items sold, removing the most controversial satanic items. Target corporate has blamed “volatile” and “confrontational behavior” with customers for the move rather than admit they made a huge mistake.

To date, there are no videos showing any violent confrontations. There are only videos of people asking management why they have done this or videos of people walking through the stores showing the items. Reporters who spoke to Target didn’t bother to ask for proof of the violent confrontations.

“Since introducing this year’s collection, we’ve experienced threats impacting our team members’ sense of safety and wellbeing while at work,” Target said in a statement on Tuesday.

“Given these volatile circumstances, we are making adjustments to our plans, including removing items that have been at the center of the most significant confrontational behavior.”

Not one bit of evidence was given to any news outlet of these confrontations yet they printed the corporation’s dramatic claim anyway. PJ Media reached out to Target’s press office to ask for details and evidence but received no response in time for publishing. If they do provide some evidence of these “threats,” we will update the article. But if you look online, the only videos you will find are simply angry customers looking at the items and outraged parents asking why this is happening and vowing to boycott the store.

Then there are the videos mocking Target.

The fact that more people than the usual suspects are making these videos go viral on Tik Tok should scare Target. This is going to be bigger than Bud Light because Target is actually targeting children with this stuff. Dylan Mulvaney was making an ad for adults. And even so, Americans are so sick of the queer cult that they balked big time and Bud Light hasn’t recovered.

How much worse will it get when American kids are the ones in the woke crosshairs? We’re about to find out. The market opening for Target wasn’t so good. Since then it’s bounced up a bit but is still down. Americans have proven that they can hurt a business that they deem has crossed a line. How bad will it get for Target? We can only wait and see.
