SHOCK REPORT: The FBI Hid Direct Evidence of Chinese Election Interference

D.C. correspondent Christopher Bedford unpacks the shocking discovery that the FBI confiscated almost 20,000 Chinese-linked fake IDs used to obtain mail-in ballots in the 2020 election. Bedford is dumbfounded that the FBI did not release this information, as this number of ballots could have swayed the result of numerous swing states, including Arizona and Pennsylvania. Bedford also delves into a proposed House resolution to peel back Trump’s wartime powers in the midst of the Israel-Iran conflict.

Xi Jinping’s Decision To Risk War: Gordon Chang

This is a condensed version of Jan Jekielek's interview with Gordon Chang. The full version was released on Epoch TV on September 28, 2024. Jan Jekielek interviews Gordon Chang, the author of the new book, “Plan Red: China’s Project to Destroy America,” to understand the Chinese regime’s strategy to destabilize America, from fentanyl warfare to election disinformation to suspicious activity at the border. “We see momentum toward war, and we Americans have got to ask ourselves, what is going to stop this momentum toward war?” Chang says. “The Communist Party People's Daily, China's most authoritative publication in China, in a landmark editorial declared in May 2019 "a people's war against us, and we're Americans, so we don't think we can ignore what our enemies say." But for Communist China, People's War is a phrase that has great resonance going back to the beginning of the People's Republic. Just about a year ago, ‘PLA Daily’ actually defined people's war for us. It said people's war is total war, and we have seen China wage a campaign of unrestricted warfare against the United States.” Gordon Chang: “You have an insecure regime in China. Beijing is worried about the inspirational impact of America's values and form of governance on the Chinese people. I believe the Communist Party does not think it will ever be safe as long as the United States exists.” Chang about Chinese students in America: “We know that Chinese consular officials and Ministry of State Security agents surveil those students and get them to commit espionage, get them to engage in political activities which is inappropriate on our soil, and this is our country. We allow that. Under the communist party's top down system every Chinese national must obey the instructions and demands of the Communist Party, and China's 2017 National Intelligence Law codifies this in one area where Chinese nationals are required to commit espionage if they receive a demand.” “There must be hundreds, if not 1000s, of Ministry of State Security agents running around our country trying to compromise American politicians.” Chang recommends: “We need to sever all of our contacts with the Chinese regime. I know that that is very strong. I’m not saying it's politically acceptable, but I am saying it is necessary, and the reason is we're being overwhelmed. We are being overwhelmed by a Chinese regime. Our law enforcement is being overwhelmed. Our universities are being overwhelmed, our businesses, Hollywood, just, you name it. We don't have a hold on this. And until we are able to manage this, we need to take those contacts and sever them. It's going to be tough. It will be painful, as we talked about, but nonetheless, it's necessary, and that's why I'm so concerned, because we are not willing to do what is necessary to save our society.”

NEW: Chinese spy balloon contents revealed

Two years after a mysterious Chinese spy balloon was shot down off the coast of South Carolina, a new report provides insight as to what was inside. The balloon was shot down by the US military over the Atlantic Ocean on February 4, 2023 after flying over Alaska, across the US and over to the East Coast. A report published this week by Newsweek now states the balloon contained technology from at least five American companies. Inside the balloon, the report states were satellite communication module, sensors and other sophisticated surveillance equipment, some of which was held in a foam cooler. The FBI has not responded to questions about the Newsweek report. When it was first spotted, the Chinese government claimed it was a weather balloon that blew off course, but US intelligence agencies found it was being used for spying. US intelligence officials have said that the information captured by the spy balloon was not successfully relayed to China. Patrick Cronin, the Asia-Pacific Security Chair at Hudson Institute joined LiveNOW from FOX’s Josh Breslow to discuss the report and what still remains unclear and unknown.

Over 30 migrants, most of them Chinese, have been found inside a U-Haul truck in Florida following a report of an alleged abduction.

Coral Gables Police Chief Edward James Hudak Jr. stated that the group of migrants were discovered after a security guard for a homeowners association in Coral Gables reported seeing an abduction around 9:35 a.m.

According to Hudak, the guard had reported seeing a U-Haul and a Toyota involved in the incident and immediately reported it to a patrol officer who then issued a be on the lookout alert for the vehicles.

Police stated that officers stopped the vehicle and the woman who had been allegedly abducted was taken from the Toyota. When they began investigating the U-Haul truck, they found 16 Chinese females, 15 Chinese males, one Cuban male and one Ecuadorian female.

“Officers opened the back of the truck, which revealed 21 predominantly Chinese nationals,” Hudak said.

In addition to the migrants in the U-Haul truck, authorities found a Cuban man, a Brazilian woman and a man from Ecuador in the Toyota.

“We do believe these individuals were brought here by the water,” the chief said. “They were probably dropped off, we’re assuming somewhere around the southern end of Coral Gables and approached on foot to the van where they were loaded into.”

According to authorities, the migrants were “tired” but in good health when the Coral Gables Fire Department arrived to provide medical attention.

“Today’s event is a prime example of why FDLE is supportive of the governor’s proposed special session to tackle illegal immigration immediately,” Florida Department of Law Enforcement Commissioner Mark Glass said. “The actions of law enforcement are an integral part of preventing these smuggling ventures that happen too frequently on our southern border.”

The migrants were then handed over to the U.S. Border Patrol, and four others were taken into police custody in relation to the incident.

“This started off as a crime,” Hudak said. “The police department responded to that alleged crime by a very alert citizen. By that, I mean I think we’ve saved some lives.”

Authorities stated they have not identified the boat on which the migrants were transported, although they have intercepted a number of boats while patrolling the waterways close to the city.

Chinese hackers breach US Treasury computers

The US Treasury says Chinese hackers stole major documents in a computer breach. The hackers compromised third-party cybersecurity service provider BeyondTrust and were able to access unclassified documents, the letter said.

China denies accusations of breaching U.S. Treasury, alert triggers cybersecurity probe

The US Treasury Department disclosed that Chinese hackers breached a third-party service provider earlier this month, gaining access to several workstations and unclassified documents. The breach, which occurred after BeyondTrust, the service provider, alerted the Treasury on December 8, allowed the hackers to bypass security using a stolen key and remotely access employee systems. The Treasury did not specify how many workstations were affected or what documents were stolen, but assured there was no evidence of ongoing access to sensitive data. In response, the department is strengthening its cybersecurity defenses. The Treasury is investigating the breach in collaboration with the FBI and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). The attack is linked to broader Chinese state-sponsored cyber activities, including the Salt Creek campaign targeting telecommunications companies. Beijing has denied involvement and opposes all forms of cyberattacks, claiming to take measures against such threats.

U.S. Says Chinese Hackers Breached Treasury Systems, Beijing Rejects Washington's "Smear Attack"

In December 30, 2024, the US Treasury Department confirmed that Chinese-backed hackers had infiltrated its systems in a major cybersecurity breach. Assistant Secretary for Management Aditi Hardikar disclosed that the hackers used a stolen key to remotely access Treasury workstations. The breach, attributed to a Chinese state-sponsored Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) actor, compromised unclassified documents. A third-party software provider, BeyondTrust, first reported the breach on December 8, revealing that hackers exploited a stolen key tied to their service. Both AT&T and Verizon also confirmed cyberattacks by the Chinese intelligence group Salt Typhoon, targeting major US telecom firms and gaining access to sensitive communications. The US Commerce Department responded by banning China Telecom operations in the US, while CISA urged senior political figures to switch to encrypted apps. Despite denials from China, the US government continues to strengthen efforts to protect national systems and interests.
