A research group in Beijing, China, has been reportedly experimenting with a new strain of COVID-19 in humanized mice, except this strain is said to be 100% lethal.

The study included researchers from the Beijing University of Chemical Technology and Nanjing University.

According to the study, the fatal virus, “GX_P2V,” attacked the brains of mice that were engineered to reflect genetic makeup similar to humans.

“This underscores a spillover risk of GX_P2V into humans and provides a unique model for understanding the pathogenic mechanisms of SARS-CoV-2-related viruses,” the authors wrote.

The deadly virus is said to be a mutated version of the GX/2017, which is a coronavirus strand that was discovered in Malaysian pangolins in 2017 and also in mammals found in warm areas.

The research states that all the mice died in just eight days, which they called “surprisingly rapid.”

The virus reportedly infected the bones, eyes, and lungs of the humanized mice as well as their tracheas and brains. Before the mice died, they had extreme weight loss, exhibited a hunched posture, moved “sluggish” and, lastly, their eyes turned completely white.

However, the results of the study do not completely indicate how it would affect human beings in comparison.

Francois Balloux, an epidemiology expert at University College London’s Genetics Institute, slammed the research as “terrible” and “scientifically totally pointless.”

“I can see nothing of vague interest that could be learned from force-infecting a weird breed of humanized mice with a random virus. Conversely, I could see how much stuff might go wrong,” the professor said. “The preprint does not specify the bio-safety level and bio-safety precautions used for the research, the absence of this information raises the concerning possibility that part or all of this research, like the research in Wuhan in 2016-2019 that likely caused the Covid-19 pandemic, recklessly was performed without the minimal bio-safety containment and practices essential for research with potential pandemic pathogens.”

The Wuhan Institute of Virology in China, the epicenter of lab leak claims surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, does not appear to be associated with this 2024 study.

Biden Admin Tried To Keep Chinese Spy Balloon Incident Hidden From Public

According to reports, the Biden Administration’s top authorities had planned to “conceal” China’s surveillance balloon from Congress and the public, until civilians in Montana saw the enormous white blimp.

In a January 27th phone call between President Joe Biden’s top military adviser General Mark Milley and North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Chief General Glen VanHerck, which was recently revealed to the public, new information on China’s spy balloon shows that the Biden Administration initially planned to keep the balloon’s presence a secret.

In a new report from the press, a former senior authority claimed that the administration originally surveilled the Chinese surveillance balloon in an attempt to keep the situation under wraps.

“Before it was spotted publicly, there was the intention to study it and let it pass over and not ever tell anyone about it,” the former senior U.S. official told the press.

The Chinese spy balloon entered U.S. airspace on January 28th and was later shot down on February 4th after already floating over several nuclear missile sites.

However, claims regarding how the incident was supposed to be concealed were denied by a senior Biden administration official, who said that quick decisions were taken to safeguard critical intelligence capabilities.

“To the extent any of this was kept quiet at all, that was in large part to protect intel equities related to finding and tracking them,” the official told the press. “There was no intention to keep this from Congress at any point.”

Milley called VanHerck during the January 27th phone call and said that the Pentagon initially planned to deliver F-22 jets and additional aircrafts to measure its size and characteristics.

Shortly after the call, targeting pods were utilized by U.S. military jets to identify and define the object as “a balloon the size of three school buses that had a large surveillance payload but no offensive capabilities.”

However, VanHerck maintained that the Chinese balloon program is still active and that the U.S. has no capability of being able to locate or track their efforts.

“It exposed significant gaps, long range gaps, for us to be able to see potential threats to the homeland.” VanHerck said. “I think that opened the eyes of a lot of people.”

VanHerck added that the U.S. is “not where it needs to be” in the progress of “deterrence options.”

“Time is the opportunity to create deterrence options or, if required, defeat options,” he said.

Officials asserted that the reputational damage that the spy balloon would cause to China and U.S. relations was a far greater threat than the balloon’s actual entry into U.S. airspace.

According to a senior administration official, “it caused so many problems.”

The balloon was shot down over open water off the coast of South Carolina.

China applauds Australia’s rejection of US-led maritime naval mission against Iran-aligned Houthis

REPUBLISHED, SEE: https://www.jihadwatch.org/2023/12/china-applauds-australias-rejection-of-us-led-maritime-naval-mission-against-iran-aligned-houthis

In case anyone has been wondering where China stands on the Israeli-Palestinian issue, here is some illuminating information according to The Guardian:

Beijing has been a supporter of the Palestinians since the Mao era and long called for a two-state solution, but it is increasingly close to Israel, and is presenting itself as a neutral party that holds steadfast to a noninterference principle.

Beijing is also trying to build on its minimal but growing influence in the Middle East, where it has major economic interests, and also presenting itself as a leader of the global south, and furthering its anti-US agenda.

A week on from the 7 October attack by Hamas on Israel, in which 1,400 people, mostly civilians, were killed, China’s foreign minister, Wang Yi, called for a global peace conference and accused Israel of going “beyond the scope of self defence” in its bombing of Gaza. On 16 October, Xi Jinping called for a ceasefire

China is acting in accord with expectations regarding the Red-Green axis. Let’s not forget the China-brokered Saudi-Iran rapprochement. And now China is applauding Australia for its rejection of a US call for the “broadest possible” maritime coalition to protect ships in the the Red Sea from attacks from the Iran-aligned Houthis. China’s reaction is a declaration of hostility to America and Israel.

While Australia has been condemned as “weak” and for “spitting in the face” of allies, the country did state that it will be “almost tripling” its “contribution to the Combined Maritime Force”:

Up to six extra Australian Defence Force officers will be deployed to the Combined Maritime Forces in Bahrain in early 2024 and another five personnel will be embedded in the CMF headquarters for Operation Manitou, which supports international maritime security efforts in the Middle East and East Africa.

The only Muslim country to join the coalition is Bahrain.

“China Applauds Australia’s Retreat from Red Sea International Naval Mission,” by Simon Kent, Breitbart, December 20, 2023:

The Chinese government was quick to cheer Australia’s rejection of a United States’ call to send a warship to help police vital Red Sea trade routes, gushing Wednesday that Canberra was finally stepping out of America’s “shadow.”

In an opinion piece published by China’s tame state-run media – the Global Times newspaper – author Jerry Grey celebrated the left-wing Labor government of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese reported refusal to send a warship to the Middle East, and Australia’s recent U.N. vote for a ceasefire in contrast to that of the U.S..

“(Australia) has finally stepped out of the US’ shadow to call for a ceasefire and could potentially act as a mediator in the conflict if needed. That opportunity will be lost if it has a military presence in the region. It is sensible for Australia to continue distancing itself from the US,” the paper said…

What did anyone expect would be the outcome of teaching young people to hate their own culture and heritage?

Anyway, a lot of these women are soon going to be experiencing terrible cases of buyer’s remorse.

“Millennials and Gen-Z women are sharing their conversion to Islam in wake of Israel-Hamas war, with ‘leftist queer gremlin’ from Boston among those TikToking her journey,” by Bethan Sexton, DailyMail.com, November 19, 2023:

Millennial and Gen-Z women say they’ve been inspired to convert to Islam by the Israel-Hamas war – and are sharing their religious awakenings on TikTok.

Recent converts say the conflict, which began with the murder of 1,200 Israelis on October 7, became a driving factor for their decision to join the Muslim faith.

Experts suggested for many, the choice is the ‘ultimate rebellion against the West’.

Among those sharing their journey is a self-described ‘leftist queer gremlin’ named Alex, who recently purchased a copy of the Quran – even though most interpretations of Islam take a dim view of LGBT relationships.

Alex, who has begun covering her hair with a hijab in line with Islamic teachings on modesty, says she began attending pro-Palestine marches after the October 7 terror attacks and the retaliatory strikes on Gaza….

The Biden Admin Offered China a Tour of a Critical Nuclear Test Site

AP Photo/Evan Vucci
I guess the Chinese spy balloon incident didn’t give the Chinese Communist Party a good enough peek at U.S. military installations, because the Biden administration decided to offer China and Russia a VIP tour of the National Nuclear Security Administration site in Nevada—a site critical to U.S. national security.

And now, GOP Conference Chair Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) is leading a coalition of 18 House Republicans demanding answers as to why Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm offered foreign adversaries access to a sensitive U.S. nuclear testing site.

“The Biden Administration’s willingness to allow our strategic rivals this unprecedented access to our sensitive nuclear testing will only embolden their efforts to increase their offensive capabilities,” reads a letter the 18 Republicans sent to Granholm dated November 9. "Once again, the Biden Administration is rewarding our adversaries with access to our sensitive nuclear technology while not demanding anything in return. Giving our adversaries unfettered access to our nuclear testing will only work to undermine our interests and worsen the international destabilization we are facing because of the Biden Administration’s weakness on the world stage.”

The PRC is working tirelessly to expand its nuclear capabilities. Earlier this year, General Anthony Cotton, Commander of U.S. Strategic Command testified before the House Armed Services Committee on Strategic Forces that the PRC is already growing its capabilities at an alarming rate and is projected to have over 1,000 nuclear warheads by 2030. The Defense Department's 2023 China Military Power Report released on October 19 warned that China’s nuclear expansion is exceeding previous U.S. projections. The PRC has no reason to halt its expansion if they are given this access while offering nothing in return. Beijing has refused to engage in discussions on its nuclear expansion and has already refused to respond to the U.S. offer. No confirmed reciprocation of transparency in their nuclear programs will only embolden their efforts to continue growing their arsenal.

According to Fox News Digital, "The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) offered to invite its Chinese and Russian counterparts to tour the Nevada site — where sensitive nuclear experimentation is conducted — during the latest International Atomic Energy Agency summit, according to Bloomberg. Corey Hinderstein, a senior NNSA official, said China and Russia didn't immediately respond to the offer."

But the real question is why was the offer made in the first place?

The Biden administration’s offer came months after President Vladimir Putin pulled Russia out of the sole remaining nuclear arms control pact with America. Earlier this month, Putin also signed a law withdrawing Russia from its ratification of a global treaty that prohibits nuclear weapons tests, a move swiftly condemned by the State Department. Earlier this year, a Chinese spy balloon was discovered surveilling U.S. military sites without intervention from the Biden administration.

Rep. Doug Lamborn (R-Colo.), one of the co-signers of Stefanik's letter to Granholm, told Fox News Digital that giving Russia and China access to U.S. nuclear facilities "allows them to derive our methods and procedures and this destroys deterrence."

"As Chairman of the House Armed Services Strategic Forces Subcommittee, one of my priorities has been to strengthen and protect our nuclear arsenal,” he added. "In the world today, nothing could jeopardize our national security more than losing this advantage. I was stunned to hear recent reports of Biden administration officials inviting citizens from our two greatest adversaries to observe U.S. nuclear weapons tests."

China Justifies Hamas’ Terror Attack on Israel~Xi’s solidarity with Iran.

[Make sure to read Joseph Klein’s contributions in Jamie Glazov’s new book: Barack Obama’s True Legacy: How He Transformed America.]

The Communist Chinese dictatorship refused to condemn Hamas’ invasion of Israel and the terrorists’ savage massacre of approximately 1200 Israelis on October 7th, including babies, children, women, and the elderly. Instead, it denounced Israel’s military counter-offensive against the genocidal monsters and has repeatedly conducted a ceasefire that would keep Hamas intact to conduct further brutal attacks against Israeli civilians.

Palestinian acts of violence fit the Chinese regime’s paradigm of so-called “people’s resistance” against Western imperialism and oppression. Thus, it treats Islamist terrorists like Hamas with kids’ gloves. And the regime’s leaders herald their solidarity with the Palestinian terrorists’ state sponsor, Iran.

China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi, for example, had a phone call with Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian eight days after Hamas’ slaughters and abductions. During the call, Mr. Wang Yi offered the same justification for Hamas’ brutality on October 7th as Hamas’ ardent supporters have done in their protests around the world. According to China’s own official government readout of the call, China’s Foreign Minister “emphasized that the fundamental reason for the development of the Palestine-Israel situation today is that the Palestinian people’s right to statehood has been put on hold for a long time, their right to survival has not been implemented for a long time, and their right to return has been ignored for a long time.”

However, when the Chinese regime perceives a serious challenge to its own authority from dissident groups such as the Uyghur Muslims, the regime’s official line is to treat them all as if they were dangerous extremists. Uyghurs have been severely punished for resisting the government’s actions to forcibly wean them away from their religion and culture.

For example, after Uyghur Muslims were accused in 2014 of killing about 29 people and injuring over 130, China’s President Xi Jinping did not hesitate to label the Xinjiang region where the Uyghurs live as China’s “frontline against terrorism.” Xi called for an all-out “struggle against terrorism” and to show “absolutely no mercy.”

The state-controlled Global Times ran an article entitled “Nothing justifies civilian slaughter in China’s ‘9-11.’” The article declared that “A nationwide outrage has been stirred. Justice needs to be done and terrorists should be punished with iron fists.” The regime’s mouthpiece added that “Anyone attempting to harbor and provide sympathies for the terrorists, calling them the repressed or the weak, is encouraging such attacks and helping committing a crime.”

Hamas slaughtered at least 1200 people in Israel, mostly civilians, in one day, which has been described as Israel’s 9/11. This would be equivalent to killing nearly 40,000 Americans based on the comparative populations – about 13 times the number of people that al Qaeda’s terrorist attacks killed on 9/11. Yet when Israel undertook its counter-offensive, showing no mercy for the terrorists, President Xi called for an immediate ceasefire, which would allow the terrorists to regroup and rearm for more October 7-like attacks that Hamas’ leadership has threatened.

Aside from evincing the surging anti-Semitism in China that we are seeing worldwide, the Chinese regime’s pro-Hamas stance can be explained in terms of its geopolitical, economic, and domestic objectives.

China has a close alliance with Iran, as well as with Russia and North Korea, which reflects these authoritarian governments’ shared opposition to what they perceive as Western powers’ imperialistic control of the rules-based world order. As part of its strategic challenge to the United States’ number one superpower status, China has been steadily expanding its footprint in the Middle East.

China has pointed to its role in brokering the normalization of diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran as proof that China can be a more effective peacemaker in the region than the United States. “China’s success in brokering Saudi Arabia-Iran talks may serve as an exemplary role in solving Palestine-Israel conflicts,” boasted a reporter for the Global Times a day after Hamas’ attack.

China is Iran’s number one customer for oil. At the same time, China is Iran’s major supplier of military technology, small arms, tactical ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles. Iran uses oil revenues from its sales to China, facilitated by the Biden administration’s lax enforcement of sanctions against Iran, to finance Hamas and Iran’s other terrorist proxies.

It is true that China has also maintained a lucrative trading relationship with Israel. However, China’s dependency on Iran for a discounted supply of oil and its attempt to supersede the U.S.’s influence in the Middle East has moved China into Iran’s corner and, by extension, into the corner of the terrorist proxies that Iran supports.

“China supports Iran, Iran supports Hamas, and Beijing has a hand in this as well,” Gatestone Institute senior fellow Gordon Chang said in a televised interview on October 16th.

Last February, Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi in Beijing to further strengthen China’s relationship with the world’s number one state sponsor of terrorism. “In the face of the current complex changes in the world, times, and history, China and Iran have supported each other (and) worked together in solidarity and cooperation,” President Xi said. “No matter how the international and regional situation changes, China will unswervingly develop friendly cooperation with Iran,” he added. They met again in August while in Johannesburg, South Africa to attend the BRICS summit where President Xi extended his congratulations to Iran for becoming a member of BRICS.

In between President Xi’s two meetings this year with his Iranian counterpart, President Xi welcomed Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to Beijing where they agreed to a strategic partnership. Xi said that he supports “the just cause of the Palestinian people to restore their legitimate national rights.”

The Chinese regime is using Israel’s conduct of its war with Hamas as a wedge issue to divide the United States and the Arab countries that back the Palestinians’ demands, including Saudi Arabia. The Chinese propaganda machine is portraying the United States’ opposition to an immediate ceasefire as proof to Arab Muslim countries, including those that the U.S. has helped to move closer to Israel, as proof that the U.S. cannot be trusted. China also sees the benefit of siding with the Sunni Arab countries in their support for the Palestinian cause as a way to dissuade them from publicly objecting to China’s repression of the Uyghur Muslims.

Staff reporters for the Global Times, the regime’s state-controlled propaganda outlet, wrote that the Israeli-Hamas conflict was “partly caused by Western colonization and exacerbated by US-biased Middle East policies.” The writers followed the party line in portraying China as impartial and willing to facilitate negotiations to resolve the conflict.

China’s notion of “impartiality” is to demand that Israel agree to a comprehensive ceasefire now, placing its civilians in danger of more deadly attacks by rejuvenated Hamas terrorists. The Chinese regime expects Israel to take the terrorists’ word that they will abide by the terms of a permanent ceasefire, even after Hamas has promised a “perpetual war” to destroy Israel and slaughter more Jews.

“China always opposes all forms of terrorism,” President Xi said in 2015. Another big lie from the Chinese Communist regime, as proven conclusively by China’s criticism of Israel’s fight for its survival against Iran’s chief Palestinian terrorist proxy, Hamas..
