During remarks on the House floor, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) demanded support for HR 8281, the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act, which would require proof of citizenship in order to register to vote.
In remarks on the House floor last week, Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-WY) and Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA) spoke about an amendment to the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization.
Rep. Scott Perry, R-Pa., argues that Biden’s border policies are making Americans ‘afraid to leave their homes’ during an appearance on ‘Mornings with Maria.’

First, the actual solutions to what’s happening on campus would be to
2 out of 3 of those are evergreen, and even a third would mostly apply to BLM riots and other forms of political harassment.
The ‘Antisemitism Awareness Act’ falls far short of that. Despite the false claims on social media, it does little more than allow Jewish students to sue colleges for allowing harassment of Jews under the guise of "anti-Zionism." It could also help roll back some of the pro-terrorist propaganda in the classroom.
Will it do that?
The current bill, which few seem to have read, orders the Department of Education to exclusively use the IHRA definition of antisemitism as opposed to using it alongside other definitions. The practical upshot of the ‘Antisemitism Awareness Act’ would be to force the Department of Ed to close the ‘anti-Zionism’ loophole, but in reality there’s no particular reason to think that the same bureaucrats ignoring campus antisemitism will now start taking it seriously now that the House passed a bill ordering it to.
Will the Senate even take up and pass the bill? Probably not.
70 Dems, including the Squad and most of the Left, voted against it. Sen. Schumer has indicated he’s not too excited about the people. Rep. Nadler being trotted out to attack the bill publicly suggests Schumer is getting cover to kill the bill.
The ‘Antisemitism Awareness Act’ is, like a lot of congressional legislation, probably doomed. It does provide grist for antisemites from the Left (and now from the Right) to spread conspiracy theories about it. (No, it does not criminalize the bible. The IHRA definition states that comparing Israel’s fight against Islamic terrorism to Jews killing Jesus is not political criticism, it’s antisemitism.)
If the ‘Antisemitism Awareness Act’ actually becomes law (and I don’t believe it will), a Trump administration could appoint people who would use it as a tool to end some of the abuses by terror-supporting faculty in the classroom.
For now, the vote on the ‘Antisemitism Awareness Act’ was revealing when 70 Democrats voted against a bill fighting antisemitism.
That’s what it amounts to and not much else.

President Joe Biden’s pro-migration border chief is opening new processing centers for Muslim migrants, amid pro-HAMAS riots in U.S. cities and just after Congress granted $3.5 billion more for migration within the $95 billion aid package for Ukraine and Israel.
“Not only did the ‘Foreign Aid’ package do nothing to secure our own border, it included $3.5 Billion to supercharge mass migration from the Middle East,” said a tweet from Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO).
“The Biden-Harris administration set the refugee admissions ceiling for fiscal year 2024 at 125,000 refugees,” said an April 23 release from the Department of Homeland Security’s visa-granting agency, adding:
With the opening of the Doha Field Office on May 7, 2024, and the Ankara Field Office on May 9, 2024, USCIS will have 11 international field offices. Other international field offices include Beijing; Guangzhou, China; Guatemala City; Havana; Mexico City; Nairobi, Kenya; New Delhi; San Salvador, El Salvador; and Tegucigalpa, Honduras….
The two new USCIS centers that have just been announced will be used to process Muslim immigrants are in Doha, Qatar, where not just Qataris, but other Muslim Arabs, including Syrian and Palestinian “refugees,” will be able to apply for admission to the U.S., and in Ankara, where Turks and Syrian “refugees,” and even some Palestinians now living in Turkey will be able to apply for entry into the U.S. Those two of the eleven UCIS field offices, in Doha and Ankara, will now be exclusively for Muslims. There are likely to be Muslim applicants as well coming through the USCIS office in New Delhi.
Look at what just two people — the Somali immigrant Ilhan Omar and the Palestinian daughter of immigrants Rashida Tlaib — have done to disrupt Democratic politics, pushing the party to be ever more hostile to Israel, and encouraging the pro-Hamas demonstrations who are brainwashing an entire generation of American students to not only denounce Israel and support the terror group Hamas, but also, on some campuses, to shout “Death to America.” The many Muslim migrants who have settled in just one key state, Michigan, have led Biden, who thinks he needs the Muslim vote in that state, to back away from his oft-repeated assurance that his support for Israel is “ironclad.” His administration has been moving heaven and earth, trying to prevent the IDF from entering Rafah and thus finishing off Hamas. Bidenites have also refused to veto a UN Security Council Resolution that called for an immediate ceasefire without requiring that Hamas release its hostages. There has even been talk, among the Bidenites, to sanction the IDF’s “Netzah Yehuda” battalion for supposed human rights violations in the West Bank, which does not seem to me like an “ironclad” commitment to Israel’s security.
Migration is deeply unpopular because it damages ordinary Americans’ career opportunities, cuts their wages, and raises their rents. It also curbs citizens’ workplace productivity, shrinks their political clout, and wrecks their democratic, equality-promoting civic culture. Migration also worsens inflation, widens regional wealth gaps, and extracts needed human resources from developing countries.
Migration of all kinds is increasingly viewed with disfavor by the American public, as the latest Siena College poll of voters in New York State shows. But it is only Muslim migrants who carry with them, undeclared in their mental baggage, their inculcated hatred of non-Muslims — “the most vile of created beings” — and especially their hatred of Jews, who are ”the strongest in enmity to the Muslims.”
That being the case, when the Bidenites choose to open two USCIS field offices in Doha and Ankara to process a much greater number of Muslim would-be immigrants, they are harming the safety and wellbeing of American non-Muslims, and especially of American Jews. Yet in the mainstream media there has been no discussion about the opening of these field offices that will encourage both overall migration and, specifically, Muslim migrants to apply for entry into the U.S.
What does the discussion of what this increase in Muslim migrants will mean for the cohesion of our society? What makes us believe that our country can avoid the phenomenon of the No-Go areas created by Muslim immigrants in Western Europe? What will those increasing numbers of Muslim migrants — who will now be coming through Doha and Ankara – mean for the physical security of Christians and Jews? Or for the economic well-being of Americans, given how much it will cost the federal and state governments to provide welfare benefits for a largely unschooled labor force of Muslims whose members do not speak English, but are determined to receive all the benefits the state provides, while being less eager to be gainfully employed? What will be the effect of an increase in Muslim migrants on the incidence of Muslim terrorism? There has been no public discussion of any of these matters. Is this the result of simple inattention or, more likely, a fear of being thought “Islamophobic”? Or have we now reached such a pass that we feel the pressure to accept increased Muslim immigration as contributing to that “diversity” in our country that we are all expected to believe is a positive good?
Congress once again passed a massive spending bill, sending nearly $100 billion dollars overseas and providing nothing for America or our border security. One America’s Pearson Sharp has more.

That’s something they may come to regret, because it’s a campaign document for the presidential election. And as such, it’s pretty clever.
Among its features, buried in the fine print, is a big stick that Biden can be expected to use against Donald Trump in the fall.
That stick: a hefty 25% tax on unrealized capital gains for people worth more than $100 million.
Hmmm. Who do we know who is worth more than $100 million and likes to brag about paying no taxes?
During Trump’s first debate with Hillary Clinton in 2016, she brought up past tax disclosures that showed that in certain years, her opponent had effectively paid no federal taxes. Trump didn’t deny it. “That makes me smart,” he retorted. He didn’t offer a rebuttal when she said he might have paid taxes for a decade.
Even former Trump cheerleader Ann Coulter found that too obnoxious to bear.
The U.S. tax code is insane in many ways. (Biden’s budget, incidentally, would pile still more complications and convolutions onto a system that is already a monstrosity.) One of its features is that, despite what Bernie Sanders likes to imply, it does not treat millionaires and billionaires the same way.
People who earn more than $1 million a year are generally taxed very heavily. If you include state and maybe local taxes, the top rate for such earners may already be near 50% and could soon be much higher. Even people who earn a lot less but have at least $1 million in assets usually pay pretty hefty taxes.
It’s the billionaires whose tax bill resembles a love letter from the IRS. Billionaires along with those worth hundreds of millions of dollars, that is.
Those people don’t live on income. They live on assets. Taxes on assets range from low to nonexistent.
I know, I know — it’s an absolute shock that the donor class has bought themselves a tax code that benefits them at the expense of everyone else. Right?
It’s something to think about every time politicians argue about taxes for “high earners,” trying to equate those people with the super-rich. Most high earners are workers and are taxed heavily. Unless politicians start to go after untaxed assets, they are just playing you.
Which brings us to Biden’s fascinating campaign document wrapped in a federal budget. The key facts don’t even appear in the budget itself, but in a companion document titled “General Explanations of the Administration’s Fiscal Year 2025 Revenue Proposals.” It comes from the U.S. Treasury, not the White House, and is nearly 300 pages long.
Page 83 is a doozy. “The proposal would impose a minimum tax of 25 percent on total income, generally inclusive of unrealized capital gains, for all taxpayers with wealth (that is, the difference obtained by subtracting liabilities from assets) greater than $100 million,” it says.
Objectively, this shouldn’t be a big deal. Workers have to pay a 24% tax rate once their taxable income for the year exceeds $95,000, or $190,000 for joint filers. Those rates rise as high as 37% once people clear about $600,000 a year. It hardly seems like the height of communism to levy a 25% tax on people worth more than $100 million.
But it will be greeted that way, because it touches the donor class. (When people criticize Congress, I like to remind them that we have the best Congress money can buy.) Cue the inevitable cries of “taxing wealth creators” and so on.
Apparently the rest of us aren’t wealth creators.
Biden’s proposal is an attempt to move the so-called Overton window on the issue of assets and wealth taxes. The Overton window refers to ideas that are considered within the realm of normal debate. Elizabeth Warren brought up wealth taxes during her failed 2020 presidential election campaign, but the proposals went down with the ship. Biden, or his team, wants to bring them back into the discussion.
We don’t know how much Donald Trump is worth, or how much that changes from year to year. Forbes says that figure is up about $4 billion this year, mainly due to Trump’s stake in Trump Media & Technology Group DJT, 5.16%, currently valued at around $4 billion. Based on the company’s financials, we can assume that’s nearly all profit.
At these levels, his Biden tax would be a cool $1 billion.
Taxes will not become law. Not anytime soon, and maybe never. But it will surely make for a lively punch line this fall.

Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Racism) on Friday introduced a bill to “terminate United States Secret Service protection for felons.” Thompson evidently doesn’t count a competent prose stylist among his handlers, for the “Short Title” of this bill is as verbose as it is grandiose, self-important, and silly: ‘‘This Act may be cited,” it announces on its first page “as the ‘Denying Infinite Security and Government Resources Allocated toward Convicted and Extremely Dishonorable Former Protectees Act’ or the ‘DISGRACED Former Protectees Act.’”
Thompson’s bill stipulates that Secret Service protection “shall terminate for any person upon sentencing following conviction for a Federal or State offense that is punishable for a term of imprisonment of at least one year.’’ There is an unmistakable hint that the Democrats plan to imprison Trump for at least a year, ideally so that he will be behind bars on November 5, 2024 and January 20, 2025.
Thompson explained:
Unfortunately, current law doesn’t anticipate how Secret Service protection would impact the felony prison sentence of a protectee—even a former President. It is regrettable that it has come to this, but this previously unthought-of scenario could become our reality. Therefore, it is necessary for us to be prepared and update the law so the American people can be assured that protective status does not translate into special treatment—and that those who are sentenced to prison will indeed serve the time required of them.
You see, this malignant clown just wants “equity”: as a convicted felon, which he likely soon will be given our two-tier “justice” system, Trump shouldn’t get better treatment in prison than any other convicted felon. “This bill,” Thompson added, “would remove the potential for conflicting lines of authority within prisons and allow judges to weigh the sentencing of individuals without having to factor in the logistical concerns of convicts with Secret Service protection.”
Thompson argues in a fact sheet for the DISGRACED Former Protectees Act, that the bill “would remove the potential for conflicting lines of authority within prisons and allow judges to weigh the sentencing of individuals without having to factor in the logistical concerns of convicts with Secret Service protection.” In other words, a corrupt leftist judge will be able to feel free to throw the book at the left’s Emmanuel Goldstein without having to take into account distracting matters such as the logistics of having Secret Service agents effectively sentenced to prison along with him.
Related: Dems Realize They Can’t Win on Biden’s Record, Stake Everything on Trump-Hate
Byron York of the Washington Examiner noted what all this was really about: Thompson, he wrote, “ran the January 6 committee, which mixed elements of show trial and reality series. Focused solely on Trump, of course.” York stated that the “obvious subtext here is that removing USSS would make it easier for someone to kill Trump, which is arguably the goal of Thompson's bill, H.R. 8081: The DISGRACED Former Protectees Act.”
Indeed. Democrats have been trying to kill Trump politically for years, and what they have thrown at him would have been enough to destroy the political careers of a thousand RINOs. Yet Bad Orange Man is still standing. Now, with leftists crazier, more aggressive, and more emboldened than ever before in American history, and increasingly inclined to resort to violence against those whom they hate and fear, Bennie Thompson wants to leave Trump defenseless against them as he serves time on the Democrats’ fake charges against him. In a sane political atmosphere, this would derail Thompson’s own political career. Instead, he’ll probably get jumped in line for the next plum committee appointment.
We've been warning about HB 230, the gender transition bill which would allow the state to use the emergency jurisdiction of minors to "transition" them! The bill was quietly removed last week, but was replaced with HB 346!
|
||
|
The new bill, HB 346, will shield medical doctors from any liability for prescribing highly experimental, irreversible hormone drugs and performing horrific "gender reassignment" surgeries. Already 22 states have banned these procedures. More are expected in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, DELAWARE is running towards it. Let that sink in.... |
||
|
HB 346 affects kids being sold the gender transition line as young as 4-5 years old, and adults struggling with significant mental issues - they are "consenting" to lifelong pharmaceutical use, becoming sterile, and going under the knife... all without fully understanding their own biology, or knowing what questions to ask. |
||
|
SAY NO, DELAWARE! |
||
|
||
|
*IMPORTANT: Just this month, documents were leaked from WPATH, the leading transgender "experts" that the sponsors of HB 346 rely on for their information. The documents show that although WPATH publicly advocates for gender transitioning, they privately recognize that minors and vulnerable adults cannot fully consent to gender transition treatment. We may be witnessing the greatest medical scandal in our country's history. Left-leaning journalist Michael Shellenberger is exposing the scandal - see it for yourself with a quick search on YouTube. There are lawsuits across the country from young adults who are suffering the consequences of their gender transition. They were lured into it as minors, before they had even taken high school biology, and yet recommended this experimental "treatment" that left them sterile, sexually dysfunctional, and lifelong dependents on the pharmaceutical industry. There are disproportionately high concentrations of autism, severe mental health struggles, and histories of sexual abuse among individuals who transition, further preventing their ability to give informed consent. Delaware activists, in the name of "care," are leaving this vulnerable population completely defenseless against the harms of their radical agenda, which results in sterilization, sexual dysfunction, and complications for life. |
||
|
||
|
The transgender industry gives billions of dollars to pharmaceutical companies who manufacture drugs for puberty blockers, cross sex hormones, and drugs needed for surgeries. These are drugs that individuals who transition have to take for the rest of their lives. Puberty blockers have not been FDA approved for use in minors for gender transition. WPATH admitted that there are no long-term studies on the benefits or harms of gender transition drugs and surgeries. European countries such as the UK, Norway, and Finland, as well as 22 US states, have restricted or banned these surgeries and drugs for minors. Delaware is on the wrong side of history. Children are being sold the gender lie through media, social media, and even curricula in public schools. If they feel uncomfortable with their changing bodies, or don't fit the "stereotype" for manhood or womanhood, they are told that they were born in the wrong body. The number of children who have attempted to "transition" their gender has tripled in just five years! Delaware law demands that those licensed counselors can only counsel these children toward gender transition. This is irresponsible! But if HB 346 passes, the victims will have no legal recourse. Don't delay; send in your comments today, and then share this email in your sphere of influence. ***We need thousands of comments before Wednesday!*** John, this is a new bill that needs new action today. Your legislators must hear from you - tell them to vote NO to HB 346! - Then PLEASE forward this info to a friend and ask them to send in their comments also. |
||
|
||
|
HB 346 sells out children and vulnerable adults to secure the interests of this $4 billion pharmaceutical industry. |
||
|
Your comments advance the truth when they're done effectively. Use the super easy link in this email to ask the committee and your State Representative to Vote NO on HB 346. When we each do this, our voices together are AMPLIFIED. Take Action today and MAKE THIS TOXIC for any legislator who votes for it! |

I'm urging you not to be silent on this. Stand up and protect Delaware children, vulnerable adults, and their families from this agenda! |

President Joe Biden has signed the $1.2 trillion spending package to keep the government open.
On Saturday, Biden signed a bill for the spending package just hours after it was passed by the senate.
Biden praised the measure as a compromise, and “good news for the American people.”
“This agreement represents a compromise, which means neither side got everything it wanted,” Biden continued, emphasizing that it rejected “extreme cuts from House Republicans and expands access to child care, invests in cancer research, funds mental health and substance use care, advances American leadership abroad, and provides resources to secure the border that my Administration successfully fought to include. That’s good news for the American people.”
During his speech, Biden called on Congress, urging them to enact a border security agreement and a national security supplemental bill in the House.
“It’s time to get this done,” Biden said.
The House passed the legislation Friday with a bipartisan 286-134 vote, which spurred a push among some conservatives to oust Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.).
The bill passed the Senate by a 74-24 vote early Saturday morning following hours of intense negotiations.

SEE: https://www.oann.com/newsroom/lawmakers-reveal-text-of-1-2t-spending-bill-to-avoid-government-shutdown/; republished below in full, unedited, for informational, educational, & research purposes:
Lawmakers on Capitol Hill have released the details of the newest $1.2 trillion government funding bill negotiated by the Biden administration and leaders of both political parties.
The new spending deal, which was announced on Tuesday, includes funding for the departments of Homeland Security, State, Labor, Defense, Health and Human Services.
However, the federal agencies listed are scheduled to shut down on Saturday if the funding package is not passed by Friday night and it’s unclear if Congress has enough time to pass it before the deadline.
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) applauded the package in a statement on Thursday, saying “House Republicans have achieved significant conservative policy wins” during this year’s appropriations process.
“This FY24 appropriations legislation is a serious commitment to strengthening our national defense by moving the Pentagon toward a focus on its core mission while expanding support for our brave men and women who serve in uniform,” Johnson said. “Importantly, it halts funding for the United Nations agency which employed terrorists who participated in the October 7 attacks against Israel.”
The new deal will also include a ban on all direct U.S. funding for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian refugees. Johnson also said the latest funding will increase U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention capacity from 34,000 to 42,000 beds, and provide more funding for almost 22,000 Border Patrol agents.
“In addition, the bipartisan agreement reached to fund the Department of Homeland Security moves the Department’s operations toward enforcing our border and immigration laws,” Johnson’s statement read. “It significantly cuts funding to NGOs that incentivize illegal immigration and increases detention capacity and the number of Border Patrol agents to match levels in the House-passed appropriations bill and the Secure the Border Act.”
“Overall, during the FY24 appropriations process, House Republicans have achieved significant conservative policy wins, rejected extreme Democrat proposals, and imposed substantial cuts to wasteful agencies and programs while strengthening border security and national defense,” Johnson added.
Once the House passes the bill, the Senate will then require unanimous consent to vote quickly.
“Once the House sends us a funding package, I will put it on the floor of the Senate without delay,” Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, (D-N.Y.), said on the floor. “We haven’t had a government shutdown since 2019. There’s no good reason for us to have one this week.”
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, (R-Ky.), said, “Congress has secured a path forward to fund the Department of Homeland Security, which will allow us to complete the fiscal year 2024 appropriations process in the coming days.”
Meanwhile, if the bill is not passed, it would likely only impact a limited number of government operations if funding were to be restored before the end of the weekend.

Conservatives in nearly a dozen Western “red” states are fuming about this: Even when there’s a super-majority of Republicans in their state legislature, it’s difficult to pass common-sense pro-family bills that the Left opposes. It seems a lot of Republican legislators, especially in leadership, are covert liberals – and the voters have not paid sufficient attention. This phenomenon has even gotten national press.
It’s a particular problem in Wyoming, where the legislature has only 8 Democrats out of 93 members. Wyoming voters recently booted RINO Liz Cheney from Congress, but the State House is still full of traitors to the GOP.

What’s going on in the minds of these phony Republicans? Too many of them started out ideologically muddle-headed, and then bought into the leftist talking points. Unfortunately, not enough citizens confront that rubbish. But Wyoming MassResistance decided to step up!
Tom Lubnau is the former Republican Speaker of the House of Representatives in Wyoming. He was also the State Rep from Gillette, which is a solidly conservative area. Lubnau now occasionally writes columns for Cowboy State Daily, a popular right-leaning statewide news and commentary site.
Lubnau was (and still is, given his continued influence) part of the problem. Earlier this month, he wrote an absurd column attacking the efforts by actual conservatives in the legislature to protect children from the lunatic LGBT agenda that is engulfing society.
Titled, “Legislating Private Parts Is Popular This Legislative Session,” it reflects the odious mentality of the RINO establishment. Lubnau bashed three much-needed pro-family bills that were before the legislature at that time (but unfortunately did not pass):
Lubnau made the preposterous claim that these bills are about “regulating private parts” and “people’s bedrooms.” He equated these bills to the anti-sodomy laws (which outlawed certain perverted private sexual acts) – even though all three bills were about obvious public issues.
Lubnau claimed that legally defining “mother” to be a “parent of the female sex” and “father” to be a parent of the male sex “seems strangely reminiscent of an Orwell novel.” He stupidly had it exactly backwards. Orwell wrote about government changing the language to support lies, not reinforcing our language to tell the truth!
To attempt to bolster his “private parts” argument, Lubnau brought up a “right to abortion” bill, HB76, which was sponsored by Democrats but had little chance of passage and had nothing to do with the others.
When this column came out, it certainly became a topic of conversation in Gillette!
Lubnau is a well-known GOP leadership figure writing in a major statewide conservative publication. The column was an embarrassment to the people in his district.
So our two Wyoming MassResistance chapter leaders in Gillette, Ed and Susan Sisti, wrote a rebuttal. Titled, “Legislating Public Consequences is Essential to Civil Society,” it was published in Cowboy State Daily last week. (For some reason it’s labeled a “Letter to the Editor” even though it’s the length of a normal op-ed article.)
Our Wyoming MassResistance chapter leaders didn’t pull any punches. They excoriated Lubnau for trafficking in “the weak arguments of corporate lobbyists and libertarian accommodationists.” In particular, they directly took on his absurd “private parts” reasoning:
People’s private lives used to be private, but now LGBT activists insist on making their private lives—and private parts—very public.
From the obscene books in public libraries, to the explicit curricula in public schools, to the very public displays of obscenity, depravity, and debauchery in PRIDE parades and festivals, Wyomingites (especially their children) cannot escape other people’s pushing their privates in public spaces.
And they concluded with:
The whole LGBT agenda has gone from the bedroom to the boardroom and is now invading the classroom.
If homosexuals and transgenders would have kept their privates private, there would have never been a need for the legislature to engage public debates to seek public consequences to stem the health, moral, and cultural collapse which has ensued.
Needless to say, the reaction from local conservatives has been overwhelmingly positive. People are thanking the Sistis and Wyoming MassResistance for stepping up and confronting the RINO mentality that has taken over their legislature – and telling the truth!

Readers may recall our report several months ago on Idaho MassResistance parents confronting their RINO State Rep who voted against a bill to protect children in libraries. His “No” vote kept the bill from becoming law in Idaho! He tried to defend his vote using some leftist talking points he likely picked up in the State House, but the parents aren’t buying it at all. These legislators need to be directly challenged.

This needs to happen across the Western states. Legislators must be directly held accountable for their actions and their statements. MassResistance is committed to helping local pro-family people turn this terrible problem around!
Please help us continue to do our uncompromising work!
Our successes depend on people like you.
Your support will make the difference!
