A man has been arrested outside of Donald Trump’s Coachella Valley rally in what sheriffs have described as a possible third assassination attempt against the former president.

On Saturday, local sheriffs arrested a suspect, identified as Vem Miller, who was caught about a mile from the rally venue with a fake entry pass to the rally.

According to police, Miller was also carrying a loaded shotgun, handgun and high-capacity magazine.

“We probably stopped another assassination attempt,” Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco said.

Miller was stopped by police about a half-mile from the rally entrance carrying homemade VIP passes.

“They were different enough to cause the deputies alarm,” Bianco said, according to the Riverside Press-Enterprise.

Bianco has stated that Miller was allegedly planning to assassinate Trump and was a part of a right-wing anti-government group.

Miller was booked for possessing a loaded firearm and a high-capacity magazine. He was released after posting a $5,000 bail.

US police release details on third Trump assassination attempt

Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco has released details on the third assassination attempt on former US president Donald Trump, saying it was not something they were taking “lightly”. “We had a very detailed plan in place on how we were going to keep not only the former president safe, but all of the participants … of the rally safe,” Mr Bianco said during a press conference. “We had a larger outside perimeter and then an inside perimeter that was completely controlled by us.”

Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco on Sunday revealed new details about the man who was arrested near former President Donald Trump's rally in Coachella over the weekend.

Tech mogul Elon Musk has announced that he will “be there to support” his friend, 45th President Donald Trump, when he returns to the site of his July 13th assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, for a rally.

Saturday’s rally will be the first time that Trump will return to the site of the first assassination attempt. Trump’s campaign officially announced the former president’s return last week.

“President Donald J. Trump will return to Butler, Pennsylvania, to hold a rally on the very same ground where he came within a quarter of an inch of losing his life less than three months ago,” the campaign said in a release.

“President Trump’s return to Butler will stand as a tribute to the American spirit. In America, we do not let monsters like that evil assassin have the last word,” the campaign said in a release,” it continued.

Musk, the tech billionaire and owner of X, first endorsed Donald Trump soon after the July assassination attempt.

On July 13th, a 20-year-old shooter attempted to kill the Republican nominee from a rooftop perch that was located around 130 yards away from the rally stage. Miraculously, Trump moved his head at the last second to look at a chart behind him, just barely missing the bullet’s reach. The bullet, meant to pierce him in the head, merely skimmed the upper portion of his right ear. Although a trail of blood from Trump’s ear could be seen by rally onlookers and at-home viewers watching the live rally, Trump came out of the event only slightly injured.

The shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, was immediately killed by counter snipers.

Due to the barrage of bullets, Crooks managed to kill and badly injure three other men, Corey Comperatore, David Dutch, and James Copenhaver. Dutch and Copenhaver have since recovered.

However, firefighter Corey Comperatore, 50, the third victim, was fatally shot by Crooks after being struck in the line of fire. The Trump campaign announced that the heroic husband and father “historically sacrificed his life to shield his wife and daughters.”

Trump says that he plans to recognize and honor the men who died or were injured on that grim day.

“He will express his deep gratitude to law enforcement and first responders and thank the entire community for their outpouring of love and support in the wake of the attack,” the campaign noted.

Former President Donald Trump is set to hold an outdoor rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, the same location where the first assassination attempt on his life took place.

In a news release on Wednesday, the Trump campaign announced the return of the GOP nominee to Butler.

“President Donald J. Trump will return to Butler, Pennsylvania, to hold a rally on the very same ground where he came within a quarter of an inch of losing his life less than three months ago,” the campaign announced.

He is set to speak at the Butler Farm Show fairgrounds on October 5th

On Wednesday, during a rally in Mint Hill, North Carolina, Trump told his crowd of fans and supporters that he would return to the venue to “finish our speech.”

“As you know, there have been two assassination attempts on my life that we know of… and the first case in Butler, Pennsylvania, great place, and we’re going back to Butler,” Trump said. “We’re going to go back and finish our speech.”

Trump’s campaign said that the former president would also be paying tribute to the victims of the assassination attempt during the rally. A 50-year-old firefighter, Corey Comperatore, “historically sacrificed his life to shield his wife and daughters” from the barrage of bullets shot by 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, who was taken out by Secret Service counter snipers.

Trump will also give recognition to David Dutch and James Copenhaver, the other two Americans who were injured during the incident.

“He will express his deep gratitude to law enforcement and first responders, and thank the entire community for their outpouring of love and support in the wake of the attack,” the campaign said.

Trump’s campaign said that his return to the location is a “tribute to the American spirit.”

“In America, we do not let monsters like that evil assassin have the last word. Every time our nation is struck by attack or hardship, we rally, we persevere, and we prevail,” the campaign said in a statement. “When terrorists knocked down our towering skyscrapers, we rebuilt taller. When our communities are ravaged by fire, storm, or natural disaster, we pull together and come back stronger.”

“And when a shooter attacked our democracy and tried to end this movement, President Trump will return to the site, joined by tens of thousands of proud citizens, and together, they will celebrate a unifying vision for America’s future in an event like the world has never seen before,” it continued.

After the former president suffered two assassination attempts in the last nine weeks—one at his golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida, and the other in Butler, Pennsylvania— his campaign declared that he is “more determined than ever.”

Former President Donald Trump stated early Wednesday that he has been briefed by intelligence officials on Iran’s efforts to assassinate him and that he believes that Tehran “will try again.”

Big threat to my life by Iran. The entire U.S. military is watching and waiting. Moves were already made by Iran that didn’t work out, but they will try again. It's not a good situation for anyone. I am surrounded by more men, guns, and weapons than I have ever seen before. Thank you…

“Big threats on my life in Iran. "The entire U.S. Military is watching and waiting,” Trump, 78, wrote on Truth Social — just hours after Ryan Wesley Routh was charged with attempting to assassinate the former president on his golf course earlier this month.

“Moves were already made by Iran that didn’t work out, but they will try again. "It's not a good situation for anyone,” he continued.

“I am surrounded by more men, guns, and weapons than I have ever seen before. Thank you to Congress for unanimously approving far more money to Secret Service – Zero ‘NO’ Votes, strictly bipartisan.”

“Nice to see Republicans and Democrats get together on something. An attack on a former President is a death wish for the attacker!”

The announcement by the Trump campaign comes after the 45th president has had two assassination attempts against his life just in 2024.

On July 13th, he had a bullet graze his ear from a bullet fired by Thomas Matthew Crooks at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Crooks, 20, was immediately shot and killed by the Secret Service.

Additionally, on September 15th, a Secret Service agent spotted Ryan Wesley Routh in the hedges near Trump’s West Palm Beach golf course while he was playing golf.

Routh, who fled the scene, was apprehended a few hours later and faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.

Meanwhile, Iran has previously denied U.S. claims of interfering in American affairs.

A 39-year-old male suspect dressed in women’s clothes and a blonde wig has been arraigned after allegedly attempting to kidnap an 11-year-old boy.

On Monday, Joshua Freyermuth, who police say also goes by the name “Vicky,” was arraigned at Alliance Municipal Court for the attempted kidnapping.

Alliance Police reported that Freyermuth tried to kidnap an 11-year-old boy from his porch on South Webb Avenue in Alliance, Ohio, on September 22nd

The police report also states that Freyermuth told the child “I need to talk to you” in a sense of urgency, allegedly utilizing a tactic to lure the 11-year-old off of his property and away from his dog.

However, after the child refused to go with him, Freyermuth ran up and forcefully attempted to grab the 11-year-old boy, but the child was able to get away, Alliance Police stated.

“I wasn’t even there,” said Freyermuth in court. “I didn’t kidnap anybody.”

The 11-year-old victim also claimed that his family dog began attacking the 39-year-old suspect as soon as he got close enough, which prompted Freyermuth to back off.

However, Freyermuth claimed in court that he had no dog bites on him.

According to a police report obtained by the Daily Mail, the suspect was arrested two days earlier, on September 20th, for possessing methamphetamines, paraphernalia, and obstructing official business.

During the investigation, Freyermuth was arrested after officers allegedly discovered 1.6 grams of meth in the van’s steering wheel, as well as a glass bubble pipe holding meth that was hidden beneath the driver's seat.

According to the report, Freyermuth attempted to obstruct officers by lying about his activities, changing his story several times, and providing misleading information.

The report states that there was “no reason to believe” the defendant was in the area “looking for children,” despite the arrest.

He was later released on bond following the September 20th incident.

Freyermuth is due back in court next Monday. His bond is set at $100,000 and he can not be in any contact with the 11-year-old victim.

The suspect accused of trying to assassinate Donald Trump at his Florida golf course wrote a chilling note months earlier declaring he intended to kill the 45th president, the Justice Department said Monday.

DOJ has released a letter written by Ryan
Wesley Routh offering $150,000 to anyone who could KILL Trump.

“This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump, but I failed you. I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster. It is up to you now to finish the job; and I… pic.twitter.com/cRl89rVEaj

Ryan Wesley Routh allegedly dropped the note, addressed “To the World” off at an unnamed person’s home in the months before the foiled assassination attempt at the West Palm Beach golf course on September 15th

“This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump, but I failed you. I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster. It is up to you now to finish the job; and I will offer $150,000 to whomever can complete the job,” the letter reads.

The letter was addressed to “the world” and said Trump had “ended relations with Iran like a child and now the Middle East has unraveled.”

“I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster. It is up to you now to finish the job; and I will offer $150,000 to whomever can complete the job.”

Routh also had a list of Trump’s upcoming public appearances and had googled a route from Palm Beach, Florida, to Mexico.

He is set to appear in federal court on Monday for a detention hearing after the attempted assassination on September 15th at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach.

Meanwhile, the Justice Department argued that he should remain locked up as the case moves forward.

Letter Written By Ryan Wesley Routh Detailing Plans To Kill Trump Released By Feds

Would-Be Trump Assassin ARRESTED 74 Times Before Attempt!

Just who is Ryan Routh, the man who planned to assassinate Donald Trump outside his Florida golf club? Steve Baker, Blaze News investigative journalist, reveals Routh’s long rap sheet dates back decades, including a standoff with police while wielding a machine gun. Why was Routh allowed to roam free, and why was he allowed to get so close to the 45th president?

Steve Baker shares NEW Details on Trump Assassination Attempt & FBI Targeting Whistleblowers

Both Thomas Crooks and Ryan Routh were able to fly below the FBI’s radar before their attempts on Donald Trump’s life. Steve Baker, investigative journalist for Blaze Media, says the bureau has instead been focused on ruining the life of FBI whistleblower Garret O’Boyle. Baker says O’Boyle was falsely accused of leaking information to Project Veritas and that the institution was more focused on keeping its personnel in line than getting public answers about Trump assassination attempts.

The House unanimously passed a bill on Friday that would increase Secret Service protections for the two parties’ presidential nominees and their vice presidential running mates.

The vote came in at 405-0, just five days after the second assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump when Ryan Wesley Routh purportedly camped outside Trump’s West Palm Beach golf club for nearly 12 hours.

A security team conducting a screening of the holes Trump was approaching spotted Routh and fired shots at him, who fled the scene and was later arrested by local authorities.

This was the second attempt on Trump’s life within 60 days. In July, a gunman opened fire at the former president’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, piercing Trump’s ear and leaving him bloodied on stage.

“President Biden made it clear that he wanted the highest levels of protection for former President Trump and for Vice President Harris. Secret Service moved to sustain increases in assets and the level of protection … and those things were in place yesterday,” acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe told reporters Monday.

“The President is aware that he has the highest levels of protection that the Secret Service is providing him. …There’s a lot of tactical assets in place, things that have been put in place as a result of what happened 60 days ago. "Those elements are working,” he added.

The bill will now be sent to the Senate for consideration, but it’s unclear how the upper chamber will handle the issue of security. Meanwhile, lawmakers from both chambers are discussing whether to include additional funding for the Secret Service in the stopgap funding bill Congress must pass by September 30th to avoid a government shutdown.

Additionally, Senator Rick Scott (R-Fla.) rolled out a companion bill to the one passed by the House on Friday.

“Over the course of just 65 days, two deranged individuals have tried to kill President Donald Trump, and one was able to shoot him in the head,” Scott said in a statement. “It is unthinkable that this could happen in America today, and it demands the immediate action of Congress.”

Currently, Trump has the same counter surveillance and counter sniper teams given to sitting presidents, along with protective intelligence and drone teams.

A new report published on Monday revealed new whistleblower allegations regarding the Secret Service’s security failures and the attempted assassination of 45th President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13th

Missouri Senator Josh Hawley’s office published a Whistleblower Report revealing the “multiple failures” of the Secret Service and Department of Homeland Security (DHS). It also detailed allegations that have so far not been made public.

A Secret Service spokesperson claimed they are aware of the report and “will continue to work with Congressional Oversight Committees in both the House and the Senate.”

The whistleblowers alleged that the agent in charge of the Butler rally “failed a key examination during their federal law enforcement training to become a Secret Service agent,” according to the report.

Additionally, the document added that the agent was known as “low-caliber,” according to the whistleblowers involved.

The Secret Service’s intelligence units were also allegedly missing from Trump’s rally. These units are considered groups of agents that work “with state and local law enforcement to handle reports of suspicious persons,” according to the report. These units would have helped limit communication failures between law enforcement agencies, the documents stated.

Furthermore, the report noted that neither agency would agree to publicly name the lead site agent for the Butler Trump rally. The report also claimed that the hospital where Trump was being treated after an attempt on his life was also not properly secured.

“The Secret Service site agent responsible for hospital security did not know what was going on and could not answer basic questions about site security,” the report claims.

Additionally, the report accused the Secret Service and DHS of not providing certain information he had requested, which included a copy of the manpower request allegedly sent to OPO-Manpower for the Butler rally.

A whistleblower involved in the report highlighted that “the manpower request did not include extra security resources because agents on the ground were told not to ask for them in the first place.”

Whistleblowers also alleged to Hawley that the DHS “is leaning on Secret Service not to comply with documents requests from Congress,” according to the report.

The document goes on to list multiple questions that have not yet been answered, including the motive behind Thomas Matthew Crooks’s assassination attempt on Trump’s life.

Another report is expected to be released by the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations before the election. It will go into further detail regarding the security failures at the Trump rally.

Law enforcement officials from the FBI, Secret Service and Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office gave an update on an incident that occurred at former President Donald Trump's golf course in West Palm Beach, Florida. They say a suspect is in custody after being spotted with an assault rifle near where the former president was golfing and Secret Service agents fired shots at the man before he fled the scene.

2nd Assassination: Trump Golf Course Shooting Analysis

Jeff Ostroff walks you through an analysis of what happened at the 2nd attempt of the assassination of Donald Trump at the Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach, FL, and the Secret Service shooting at the suspected gunman on Sunday, September 15, 2024. All aspects and details of what occurred, including how the would-be assassin was able to get so close to Donald Trump with an AK47 rifle 2 backpacks and a GoPro camera, hiding in the thick hedges around the perimeter of the golf course.

BREAKING: Trump's SECOND assassination attempt failure | NEW details about Trump Shooting

New images reveal the backpack, GoPro camera and AK-47 style rifle that a gunman left behind while fleeing the scene where he was targeting Donald Trump. Law enforcement held a press conference in West Palm Beach on Sunday after the FBI announced it was investigating a second assassination attempt against Donald Trump in just two months. The former president was rushed to safety on Sunday after multiple shots were fired in his vicinity while he was playing golf at his club in West Palm Beach. A suspected gunman is in custody after a terrifying incident at Trump International Club almost exactly two months after a separate assassination attempt against Trump during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Multiple reports have named the suspect as Ryan Wesley Routh. Officials said U.S. Secret Service agents spotted a rifle barrel sticking out of the bushes two holes ahead of where Trump was golfing on Sunday, prompting the agents to fire at the suspect. The individual ran into his vehicle from the trees, but was spotted by a witness who snapped a picture of his vehicle – a black Nissan – which included the license plate. Palm Beach Sheriff Ric Bradshaw told reporters at a press conference hours after the incident that the witness was able to share the plate and later identify the suspect as the person he saw fleeing the scene. Read More: FBI says it's probing 'attempted assassination' of Trump after gunman was shot at by a Secret Service article image Trump confirmed in a statement about an hour after the shots were reported that he was 'safe and well' and didn't want rumors to 'start spiralling out of control.' The suspect was able to get within 400-500 yards of Trump. The 2024 Republican nominee's bulked-up Secret Service advance team, however, spotted the shooter in the tree lines just two holes from where Trump was golfing. Special Agent Rafael Barros explained at a press conference on Sunday that the Secret Service moves with Trump and is usually surveying one or two holes ahead of him when he goes for a round of golf. Asked if security has changed around Trump since the first attempt at life earlier this summer, Barros said: 'Yes, the threat is high.' 'We have increased the amount of assets that we've supported,' he continued. 'We're living in dangerous times.' Real estate investor and New York City landlord Steve Witkoff was Trump's golfing buddy on Sunday, sources told DailyMail.com. The FBI released a statement two hours after the incident claiming the attack 'appears to be an attempted assassination of former President Trump.' The armed suspect was posted outside the club around the 5th and 6th holes, which is confirmed to be a more 'vulnerable' area of the course because it is closest to the road. Sheriff Bradshaw detailed that the suspected assassin was wielding an 'AK-47 style weapon with a scope', which was recovered at the scene. So did a backpack and GoPro camera, which Sheriff Bradshaw revealed in images of where the suspect was set-up in the bushes along the fencing of Trump's golf club. The area where the suspect was first spotted by his security detail was two holes ahead of where Trump was golfing at the time of gunshots, causing the individual to flee.
