EX-CATHOLIC MIKE GENDRON: “YOU CAN NEVER DO WHAT CHRIST HAS DONE”~THOUSANDS OF UNBIBLICAL ROSARIES SENT TO UKRAINE BY GOYA FOODS

FROM MIKE GENDRON'S "PROCLAIMING THE GOSPEL" NEWSLETTER:

Did you know that when you consider all the religions in the world, there are really only two kinds of faith? One is trusting what the Lord Jesus Christ has DONE to save sinners completely; the other is trusting what man must DO to be saved. Trusting in what Christ has DONE puts believers on the narrow way that leads to eternal life while trusting in what you must DO puts you on the broad road that leads to destruction (Matt. 7:13-14). Everything the all-sufficient Savior has DONE is gloriously revealed throughout the Bible while trusting in what man must DO opposes the Word of God (Rom. 11:6).
Christ Has DONE What You Can Never Do
Good works and religious rituals can never satisfy divine justice for sin because the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). The second death is separation from God in the eternal fires of hell (Isaiah 59:2; Revelation 20:14). Hell is eternal because divine justice requires full payment for sins committed against our infinitely holy God. There is absolutely nothing guilty condemned sinners can DO to pay the eternal sin debt. However, what a finite man could never DO, the eternal Son of God has DONE. The eternal sin debt was nailed to His cross (Col. 2:13-14). Jesus Christ, who is God’s perfect man and man’s perfect God, died as a substitute to satisfy divine justice for those who trust Him alone. Thus, man's only hope is to exchange his worthless religion of works for an eternal relationship with God through Jesus, the one mediator between God and man (1 Tim. 2:5).
Will Knowledge of the Truth Change Your Faith?
The nature of deception is such that people never know they are deceived until they are confronted with the truth. No one will try to get on the narrow way that leads to life until they know they are on the broad way that leads to destruction. No one will seek a substitute to die in their place until they know they are condemned to death. No one will seek a Savior until they know they are destined for the torments of hell. No one will seek to be reconciled to God until they know they are separated from Him. No one can receive the righteousness of Christ as a gift until they are first stripped of their own righteousness. No one will appreciate what the Lord Jesus has DONE until they realize how utterly hopeless and helpless they are to DO anything about it. The glorious Gospel of grace is to believe what Christ has DONE and repent of what man thinks he must DO.
You Need to Know What Christ Has DONE
  • He is the way for those who are lost. He is the truth for those who are deceived. He is life to those who are spiritually dead (John 14:6)
  • He testified to the truth and truth seekers listen to Him (John 18:37)
  • He is the only Savior for sinners (Acts 4:12)
  • He bore His people's sin in His body on the cross (1 Peter 2:24)
  • He makes believers perfect forever (Heb. 10:14)
  • He canceled the eternal sin debt of believers (Col. 2:13-14)
  • He reconciles believers to God (2 Cor. 5:18-20)
  • He redeems believers from the curse of the law (Gal. 3:13)
  • He saves people forever from God's wrath (Heb. 7:25;1 Thes. 5:9)
  • He gave His life as a ransom for many (Matt. 20:28)
  • He satisfied divine justice as a sacrifice for sin (1 John 2:2)
  • He shed His blood to purify His people from all sin (1 John 1:7)
  • He died once for all sins to bring believers to God (1 Peter 3:18)
  • He offered one sacrifice for all sins for all time (Heb. 10:12)
  • He saved believers from divine condemnation (Rom. 8:1)
  • He delivered His people from the dominion of Satan (Acts 26:18)
  • He rescued believers from the domain of darkness and transferred them into His kingdom (Col. 1:13)
  • He was resurrected from the dead, giving every believer a living hope and an inheritance in heaven protected by God's power (1 Peter 1:3-5)
How Will You Respond to What Christ Has DONE?
After the Lord Jesus had DONE everything necessary to save sinners completely and forever, He cried out in victory, “It is finished” (John 19:30). Only those who trust what the Lord Jesus has DONE can receive the gift of eternal life. It can never be merited by what man thinks he must DO because it would never be enough. God does not save people based on the deeds they DO (Titus 3:5). “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast” (Eph. 2:8-9). Knowing this, will you repent of your dead works, which are an insult to the perfect, finished, and sufficient work of Christ? Will you come to the Lord Jesus with empty hands of faith, bringing nothing but your sins?
This Is What You Can DO After God Saves You
After you have been reconciled to God by trusting in what Christ has DONE, you are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, to DO the good works He has prepared for you (Eph. 2:10). What you DO for God as a born-again Christian will be motivated by your love and thanksgiving for all Christ has DONE. “Whatever you DO, in word or deed, DO everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him" (Col. 3:17).

Thousands of Rosaries Sent to Ukraine
Goya Foods CEO Bob Unanue and a woman who makes rosaries in Texas have teamed up to send a message of faith and strength to the Ukrainians. In an interview on Fox News, Unanue called this "the miracle of the rosaries." He said, "It's the intercession of our mother Mary," referencing Shannon Hasse's work to collect more than 10,000 rosaries for the people of Ukraine who have fled to Poland amid Russia's invasion of their country. "One rosary turned into over 15,000 rosaries and growing," he said, announcing how his company is going to bring the rosaries to those who need a gift of faith and care. Unanue also said, "I have tremendous hope that through the intercession of Mary [that] this is the greatest weapon against evil and moving toward God." Hasse said that this all came about because of "the Holy Spirit." She said, "I feel that the Blessed Mother, the Immaculata, is everywhere. Flowing from the eyes and the tears of the children, even Putin, to take his heart and make it soft. Make it a heart of love." Watch the Fox News report here.
Mike's Comment: The rosary, and its 53 prayers to Mary, are an offense to God and run contrary to Scripture. Only God can hear and answer our prayers. Jesus is the only mediator and we pray in His name, not Mary's.

Canada: Home Depot Calgary trains employees to ‘check’ their ‘white,’ ‘Christian,’ ‘heterosexual’ privilege’

WOKE: Leaked Home Depot Employee Training Pamphlet Sparks ...

Former Home Depot CEO Bob Nardelli on Home Depot getting backlash from activists for not getting involved in Georgia voting law protests

If the “woke” ever woke up, they might realize that their offensive, hateful anti-white propaganda would never be tolerated if white racism were really as severe and endemic as they claim.

The Woke Brigade’s malarkey was on full display at a Home Depot outlet in Calgary, Alberta, in a “leaked training pamphlet”:

The flyer that was reportedly posted in a break room at a Calgary, Alberta, Home Depot showed the home improvement giant’s logo and was titled, “Leading Practices: Unpacking Privilege.” It asks employees to literally “check” their “privilege,” whether it be “white privilege,” class privilege,” “Christian privilege,” “cisgender privilege,” “able-bodied privilege,” or “heterosexual privilege.”

The flyer:

Whoever was ultimately responsible for this should realize that advocating for human rights does not entail bashing any other group. Battling discrimination and racism is one thing. To zero in on a target unjustifiably is another. Also, blacks are still held as slaves by Arab Muslims in Algeria, Mauritania, Sudan and Libya. Many Arabs are anti-black. Afghans are at the back of the bus in Iran. China is openly racist against blacks and overweight people. The largest “Black nationalist organization in the US,” the Nation of Islam, spreads virulent hatred against Jews, whites and LGBTQ groups. Muslim rape gangs also view white girls as “worthless” and “trash.”

What do the woke think? That discrimination and racism are exclusively a white problem? Or that racism from other groups is parked at the border in an era of multiculturalism and open-door immigration?

Shame on Home Depot in Calgary, which has chosen the woke path of exclusivity rather than inclusivity in its divisive and discriminatory practices. It is also insulting to visible minorities, who are perpetually deemed to be helpless victims who are in need of handouts and patronizing sympathy from the woke.

Aburrahman Muhammad, an imam who was once with the International Institute of Islamic Thought but had the good sense to leave, observed:

This sense of victimization has now reached a point – especially given the consistent rhetoric of groups like the Council on American-Islamic Relations – that many rank-and-file Muslims now genuinely believe that they are a persecuted and oppressed group.

This applies also to many blacks in America, Canada, and elsewhere. It isn’t only whites who were oppressors.

Hate against any and every group as such as wrong. That includes the perpetual targeting of whites for past wrongs, which is often done by those who at the same time exonerate non-whites for current and ongoing human rights abuses. Ironically, it is the white woke working alongside supremacist groups such as Muslim Brotherhood-linked organizations and the Communist-rooted Black Lives Matter, who perpetuate anti-white “privilege.” It’s a method of manipulating societal and individual weakness to stir up race wars, in pursuit of the goal of destroying Western democracies from within and supplanting them with Marxist regimes. The average Leftist believes these claims. Many BLM leaders have also lined their pockets, playing the victimhood card and betraying their own people.

America had a black president. That would have been unthinkable just a few decades before he was elected. Too many Western countries have evolved to the point of (as they say in economic terms) diminishing returns.

Fighting discrimination and advocating for equal rights and human rights is admirable, but the likes of Home Depot and the woke brigade, who incessantly parade their superiority (“privilege,” they call it) while spreading the propaganda of victimhood groups are the real racists.

Martin Luther King Jr. was commonly attacked by his critics as being a “mouthpiece for the white man,” a criticism that came from leftists.

Uganda: Muslim sprays family with acid for converting from Islam to Christianity

Converting from Islam to Christianity: forbidden under Islamic law. Spraying acid on those who convert: pleasing to Allah. “Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. And those with him are ruthless against the unbelievers and merciful among themselves.” (Qur’an 48:29)

“Family Sprayed with Acid for Leaving Islam,” Morning Star News, March 22, 2022:

NAIROBI, Kenya (Morning Star News) – Upset over conversions to Christianity, hardline Muslims in an area of eastern Uganda this month sprayed a newly Christian family with acid and beat a former mosque leader, sources said.

In Intonko village, Namutumba District, Muslim relatives on March 8 sprayed acid on Juma Waiswa, 38, his 32-year-old wife Nasimu Naigaga, and their 13-year-old daughter, Amina Nagudi after they put their faith in Christ the previous month, Waiswa said.

They converted to Christianity when a pastor visited their home the morning of Feb. 17 and explained the gospel. When their relatives learned of their conversions, they called them to a meeting with other clan members on March 8, Waiswa said.

“During the meeting we were asked about our salvation, and we affirmed to them that we had believed in Jesus and converted to Christianity,” Waiswa told Morning Star News. “They told us to renounce Jesus, but we stood by the newly founded faith in Jesus.”

Christians had deepened the family’s faith in visits and Bible study after their conversion, he said.

“When we refused to recant our faith in Jesus, my father, Arajabu, recited some koranic verses, and after that they forcefully started beating us with sticks as prescibed in the Koran, claiming that we were apostates,” Waiswa said. “As this was not enough, my father went inside the room and picked up a bottle of acid and began spraying it on us while the group started shouting, ‘Allah Akbar [God is greater], you deserve death,’ and then disowned us.”

Initially they did not know what kind of liquid was sprayed on them, he said.

“But as we were fleeing for our lives, we started feeling some serious itching that continued till the pain intensified,” Waiswa said. “A nearby Christian neighbor called the pastor, who arrived immediately and took us to hospital in Mbale, but our daughter was seriously affected and was referred to a hospital in Jinja.”

On March 9, while the three were receiving hospital treatment in, their house was set ablaze, he said.

The three are still undergoing hospital treatment. They requested prayer for healing and for a place to stay after recovering….

All for One and Theft for All—The Fallacy of the Social-Justice Movement

By Carl Teichrib

Author’s Note: Volumes could be written on the different historical and philosophical applications of social justice, and we could easily find ourselves lost in a tangled maze of ideologies and nuances. Hence, this booklet seeks to examine the core element of social justice as a current social-economical-political movement.

[W]e must understand that the only road to peace and social justice is socialism. . . . With the exploiting classes there will never be social justice; without social justice there will never be peace.1—Celia Hart, a socialist author

[I]t is necessary to understand that every modern theory of social justice is ideological. No matter how reasonable or rational it may be, every modern theory of social justice is the rationalization of the interests of a particular group or class.2—William E. Murnion, a socialist professor

[A]ll modern trends point to the specter of a terrifying, bigger and more pitiless conformity.3—Erik von Kuehnelt-Leddihn, political scientist/ philosopher

A boiling, seething emotion rose from my chest into my throat. An avalanche of angry words tumbled from my small mouth. My indignation could not be quenched. A final declaration sounded with thick certainty. “When I’m older, I’m going to do something about this.” I was only about ten years old when I said these words, but I had seen enough to know. Gross injustices had been observed.

I well remember the bitter experience. Me, a sensible farm boy—and my grandparents, owners of a small fabric shop in a sleepy prairie town—had traveled to the claustrophobic city of Winnipeg. The purpose: to visit textile outlets and make purchases of cloth. After two days of warehouses and shop floors, I knew this was the end of the world. Working conditions were deplorable: Too little sunshine, poorly chosen paint colors, and smelly old merchantmen.

“Here’s some candy, kid.” It tasted stale. At one critical point, Grandma had to shush me. Didn’t she know? Didn’t anybody care? The lone Pepsi machine we had passed in the darkened hall wore a sign of prophetic importance: “Out of Order.” And I was dying of thirst.

Yes, the textile industry—indeed, the entire business world—was out of order. How could anybody work in these depressing places? Boredom alone had to be killing people; it was killing me!

As we loaded up with fabric and left this urban wasteland, I caught a glimpse of something else. A brick-lined smokestack was silhouetted against the evening sky, and smoke—or steam (it didn’t matter)—was belching forth to choke out nature’s life. That’s when I lost it. Didn’t those people know what they were doing? Didn’t anybody in the government have a brain? Not only was the city a depressing place and the warehouses terrible for workers, but the factories were going to kill everything! When I grew up, I was going to put a stop to this madness. Others would join in this desire to change the world. We would save the worker from his intolerable slavery and rescue the environment from the hands of greedy merchantmen. Justice, or vengeance, would be served—whether at home or abroad. Grandma soothingly patronized me. Grandpa, lips tight, said nothing.

Bending Minds

Looking back, I marvel. As a young mind, I had a keen sense of “social rights” and “justice.” And I was a prime candidate to have swung to the more extreme side of the leftist camp. In fact, my impressionable mind was already moving in that direction. Unaware that I was mimicking a Marxist approach—a social revolution through mass action—I was emotionally convinced that radical surgery was the only recourse. Where had this come from?

My parents and grandparents were no-nonsense farmers and business owners. They worked very hard at their respective livelihoods, were quick to help anyone who needed assistance, and contributed to the local community in different ways—including, on my mother’s part, teaching English to Laotian immigrants (those were the days of the Boat People). Both my parents and grandparents emphasized Christian ethics and values, to stand up for the underdog, and remain independent in the face of peer pressure; “You were born an original; don’t die a copy.”

The church I attended had Mennonite roots but didn’t cater to leftist ideologies. In fact, it had separated itself from a Mennonite denomination in part because of a growing socialist-slant in the larger body. At heart, we were probably the only non-pacifist Mennonite church in the district.

Television? No. At that time, TV consisted of Bugs Bunny on Saturday evenings and Dad trying to watch The Lawrence Welk Show while we kids faithfully re-enacted Wile-E Coyote cliff-falls from the top of the couch. There just wasn’t much time for television.

Public school? This was the late 1970s, and an environmental curriculum was already in play. In the local high school, The Environmental Handbook was used as a text, complete with overtly anti-Christian, anti-family, and anti-capitalist rhetoric. The Environmental Handbook, for all practical purposes, was a Marxist/Trotskyite call to radical green action—“nothing short of total transformation will do much good.”4 Other school texts, such as the Prose of Relevance and Worlds in the Making, shaped minds to accept quantum cultural shifts, including the move towards socialist and technocratic ideals.

Elementary school and junior high also witnessed a steady stream of transforming curricula. I remember hearing about the growing problems of over-population and the destruction of the ecosystem caused by human greed and pollution. Injustice was occurring in different parts of the world. Nuclear annihilation was around the corner. Whether overt or subtle, the message was clear: The old ways of how society functioned could no longer be tolerated. Too much was at stake, and it was up to my generation to fix the world’s problems. Whether the teachers knew it or not, we were being shaped to change the system. Thus, a variety of cultural and social alternatives entered the classroom—including Marxism. The mood of my childhood education was shaped by what had occurred less than a decade earlier.

The late 1960s and early ’70s was a hinge time for Western society, and the ripple effect spread far and wide. This was the era of the New Left, with its vanguard techniques and its challenge to cultural norms. Radicalism clashed with conventionalism, the drug culture blossomed, and Eastern forms of spirituality entered the mainstream. In America, the welfare or “servile state” was greatly expanded, including experiments in community housing. All of this was coupled with the Vietnam War, which first demoralized France and then the United States. During this time, “peace” groups parroted Soviet propaganda; capitalism was equated with “warmongering” while socialism reflected equity and peace. The liberal-mined West embraced this trend, even though Frederick C. Barghoorn, a Yale professor who had been interned by the Soviet government in 1963, had warned America about the use of “peace” as a method in furthering Marxist ideology. Published one year after his arrest and release, his book Soviet Foreign Propaganda provided an important warning:

It should be emphasized that all of the Soviet leaders, from Lenin and Trotski through Stalin and Khrushchev, strove in their peace propaganda to appeal both to revolutionaries seeking the overthrow of constitutional democracy and to western businessmen, liberals, pacifists, and the general public whose non-dialectic conception of peace was limited to the simple absence of armed conflict.5

Liberals and pacifists of Western nations were viewed as important players in the cause of international Marxism. Their importance came not from an understanding of the Moscow-Hegelian-Marxist program but from their ignorance. Convinced of holding the moral high ground and blinded by a sense of enlightenment, these individuals advanced the Communist agenda by acting on the emotion of the ideal. In other words, they were emotionally drawn to a Marxist-oriented “social justice” cause—the “plight of the worker,” economic and social inequalities, the desire for class-based justice, and the “struggle for peace.” These individuals would then become activists, educators, and cultural trendsetters. And they demanded social transformation that would, invariably, have an anti-capitalist and anti-individualist tone. The boys in Moscow grinned.

The only way of “assuring lasting peace in the world” from the Marxist perspective, explained Barghoon, is the “elimination of capitalism.”6 Peace, solidarity, and justice throbbed with a Leninist heartbeat throughout this turbulent time period. Capitalism, with its emphasis on private property and free enterprise, was considered the prime cause of social strife. Socialism, with its emphasis on community and social order, was the path to progress. This leftist ideology was solidly embedded in education during the 1970s, and from that point on its fingerprints can be observed in practically all major institutional systems, including schools and churches.

Retna Ghosh and Douglas Ray, in the preface to their 1987 book Social Change and Education in Canada, provide a short outline of social theories that shaped modern education. This included Herbert Spencer’s social Darwinism, the conflict theories of Karl Marx, modernization, and the concept of human capital with its emphasis on workforce development. Each impacted the Canadian school system, as did technocracy and a host of other philosophies. And while the system may see distinctions in these theories, the classroom was far more blurred. Indeed, any of the above—or a mix of all—shaped the student’s worldview. But rarely did the student understand the ideal behind the curriculum. As Ghosh and Ray explained:

Social change, whether gradual or revolutionary, is inevitable and brings with it new patterns of social interaction. The place of education in this process is both complex and critical.7

For a young mind in the late ’70s bombarded by a host of conflicting educational patterns, the emotional tug attached to exploited social issues seemed the most relevant. No wonder my trip to Winnipeg ended with a Trotskyite call for revolution.

What has any of this to do with “social justice”? Everything.

Catholic Social Justice

In today’s Christian world—and Western culture in general—there’s a myriad of changes taking place, and with it comes a new language. “Social Justice” is certainly in the spotlight. Jim Wallis of Sojourners played a huge role in introducing the concept to millions of Christians as did many emergent/progressive figures like Brian McLaren, Shane Claiborne, and a myriad of others with the help of numerous large Christian publishing companies—all seeking to reframe Christianity in a social-justice context. Today, the Christian Reformed Church has an Office of Social Justice; the Salvation Army has The International Social Justice Commission; and a fast-growing number of Christian colleges, seminaries, and universities now have social-justice programs as do many, if not most, denominations and ministries.

But where does this term come from, and what is its dominant history?

“Social justice” appears to have been first employed in the early 1840s by an Italian Catholic theologian and Jesuit, Luigi Taparelli D’Azeglio.8 As Daniel M. Bell points out in his book, Liberation Theology After the End of History, d’Azeglio’s concept was “justice as a general virtue that coordinated all activity with the common good.9

The notion of virtue is important, for it brings a flavor of charity. Taparelli’s vision circled around justice as a system of moral norms that included individual rights and the freedom to associate. The greater whole of the community—the “sum total of individual goods”10—would thus benefit. This form of “justice” was also known as economic justice and looked upon wealth redistribution as a coordination of rights. Direct government administration should be avoided wherever possible, for Taparelli recognized the danger of centralization.11

In 1891, Pope Leo XIII issued his encyclical Rerum Novarum, which dealt with the conditions of the working class, the right to private property, and the workplace relationship. Leo XIII rejected Communism and the greed that arises from an amoral application of capitalism, instead advocating that worker and employer should come to an honest agreement regarding labor and wages. At this point, Catholicism rejected Marxist-based socialism.

Decades later, Pope Pius XI penned his encyclical Quadragesimo Anno. In it, he denounced Communism and at the same time embraced wealth redistribution—the sharing of benefits—as a function of social justice (#57). “By this law of social justice, one class is forbidden to exclude the other from sharing in the benefits.” While this idea started to stretch the earlier limits of Catholic social justice, he at least recognized that all sides of the class divide could be negative players: the rich withholding the wages due to the worker, and the worker demanding all from the rich. That aside, the free-market system wasn’t an acceptable means to build a civilization on social justice:

Just as the unity of human society cannot be founded on an opposition of classes, so also the right ordering of economic life cannot be left to a free competition of forces. For from this source, as from a poisoned spring, have originated and spread all the errors of individualist economic teaching . . . [F]ree competition, while justified and certainly useful provided it is kept within certain limits, clearly cannot direct economic life—a truth which the outcome of the application in practice of the tenets of this evil individualistic spirit has more than sufficiently demonstrated. Therefore, it is most necessary that economic life be again subjected to and governed by a true and effective directing principle. (#88)

In reading through the encyclical, unsettling doublespeak emerges. Communism is chastised, yet the free market is evil. In this dialectic, the end result is that “certain kinds of property . . . ought to be reserved to the State.” The “public authority,” according to Pius XI, should maintain ownership of enterprises that advance the “general welfare.”(#114-115). A slide down the slippery slope had now begun in earnest; “social justice” would become the excuse par-excellence in calling for a global collectivist system.

Speaking on Pius XI’s views regarding economic justice, Pope John XXIII pointed out that “man’s aim must be to achieve in social justice a national and international juridical order, with its network of public and private institutions, in which all economic activity can be conducted not merely for private gain but also in the interests of the common good.”12 Furthermore, in 1963, John XXIII advocated a “universal authority” to ensure this “common good.”13

This was the era of Vatican II. Speaking of the changes that occurred during this period, Professor Philip C. Bom tells us, “It could be characterized as a shift from anti-Communism toward pro-commonism of a new world order.”14

In 1965, Pope Paul VI made similar comments at the United Nations, openly suggesting “the establishment of a world authority.”15 Why? Because a world authority is needed to establish and maintain an international “common good.” That same year, Paul VI’s document Gaudium et Spes—Pastoral Constitution on the Church in the Modern World—recognized that the Catholic Church has an important role to play in constructing “a peaceful and fraternal community of nations.”(#90) In that vein, he recommended in Section II titled “Setting Up an International Community,” the creation of a Catholic organ designed to promote “international social justice.”(#90). Individualism was upheld in the document, but it must support the greater good. Communistic collectivism in production was considered erroneous, yet a form of social collectivism was deemed necessary. An excerpt from paragraph 65 demonstrates this social-justice relationship:

Citizens, on the other hand, should remember that it is their right and duty, which is also recognized by the civil authority, to contribute to the true progress of their own community according to their ability . . . those who hold back their unproductive resources or who deprive their community of the material or spiritual aid that it needs—save the right of migration—gravely endanger the common good.

Here we see a swing far past the earlier idea of a charitable virtue. The implication is forthright: you will participate. In the context of this particular document, that participation includes the demands of a global community and world civil authority.

Although Pope John Paul II was perceived as more conservative, he too espoused a globally-minded social-justice agenda. This was evident in his endorsement of the UN Millennium Development Goals, which gravitate around wealth redistribution. (Note: While the Millennium Development Goals outwardly demonstrate some admirable targets—education, eradication of poverty and hunger, improved health—the methods are suspect.)16 And as the most notable geopolitical pope of the twentieth century, John Paul envisioned “a globalization of solidarity.”17 In discussing globalization as a unifying factor, he said:

For all its risks it offers exceptional and promising opportunities, precisely with a view to enabling humanity to become a single family, build on the values of justice, equity and solidarity.18

Furthermore, the U.S. Catholic bishops, operating under John Paul’s reign, were open regarding social justice—“the common good”—in their 1986 letter, “Economic Justice For All”:

The common good may sometimes demand that the right to own be limited by public involvement in the planning or ownership of certain sectors of the economy. Support of private ownership does not mean that anyone has the right to unlimited accumulation of wealth. (#115)

Interestingly, Catholic commentators from all sides of the political spectrum described the bishops’ document as “pro-capitalist.” However, a cursory read demonstrates that “Economic Justice For All” is pro-socialist. Yes, the responsibility of the individual is highlighted and private property is validated. However, it’s the bishops’ economic justice that displays a different set of cards, with its call for collective, government-directed programs aimed at curing social ills. Individuals, therefore, are obligated to participate under government dictates. In other words, if you can contribute to the common good, then you must contribute. This is reminiscent of the Marxist maxim: “From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.”

Writing for the Journal of Business Ethics, William E. Murnion gives a straightforward assessment of the bishop’s text: “[T]he conception of justice it espouses is . . . clearly socialist, and communist at that.” Murnion conceded that the bishops were not “crypto-communists,” just that their “conception of social justice is indeed identical with the communist principle of justice even though the bishops have arrived at it from a route entirely opposed to Marx’s.”19

Finally, from the Catholic perspective, Pope Benedict XVI amply demonstrated his affinity to social justice through his encyclical Caritas in Veritate. Here, social justice is recognized as an issue of prime economic and political importance, one that goes beyond the free-market approach. According to this encyclical, economic redistribution is justice. The Pope also recommended that the United Nations be reformed, along with the global economy, so that a “true world political authority” would emerge “with teeth.”(#67) Why? To “seek to establish the common good.” (#67).

Although some older Papal teachings uphold private property and reject Marxist socialism, such as Pope Leo XIII in Rerum Novarum, the Roman Catholic hierarchy over the past hundred-plus years has increasingly bridged “social justice” with economic and political collectivism. In this sense, the Holy See has become a cheerleading squad for the United Nations’ system of socialist management. As Professor Bom explains in his book, The Coming Century of Commonism, “Slowly, step-by-step, stage-by-stage, the Catholic church-state champions the U.N.’s agenda for a New International Economic Order.”20

Pope Francis, the current pope, openly embraces social-justice concepts and has frequently called for “global wealth redistribution”21 for the common good. He supports the U.N.’s efforts and agendas to control wealth and its redistribution; and in a 2020 encyclical, Fratelli Tutti, he exuded socialism (and at times bordering communism) suggesting that capitalism is ineffective and criticized individualism in favor of its opposite, collectivism.

Parallel to the modern Catholic version of social justice is another historical movement giving active energy to the term. And if the Papal idea of social justice found itself on the slippery slope to collectivism, this parallel movement intentionally aimed for the bottom of the hill.

Marxist Social Justice

For generations, there has been an activist side to the idea of wealth redistribution. This popular front, with a web of splinter groups, organizations, and fellow travelers, used “social justice” as the rallying cry for cultural transformation. In fact, this movement is very much alive today and continues to use the term as an effective banner. These social-justice flag-wavers have been the most vocal preachers of collectivism—the followers of Karl Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Castro, and dozens of other socialist and communist leaders. Communists and social radicals have been, hands-down, the winners when it comes to employing this term. The Socialist International has always used it, as has Trotskyite organizations, Red factions, and a multitude of socialist political parties.

The idea of social justice within a more political context goes back a long way. In 1848, the Society of Fraternal Democrats, an international body that rubbed shoulders with Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, published a veiled threat against the British system:

Let the privileged classes renounce their unjust usurpations and establish political equality and social justice, and England will have nothing to fear against a world in arms.22

Under Communism, wealth redistribution was to be used for social ends. In this structure, private property for personal gain was viewed as the cornerstone of the class system and was seen as the cause of social injustice and strife. Wealth redistribution, therefore, was aimed at producing a society where all people were economically equal. Hence, the abolition of bourgeois property (that of the capitalist class) was the key component of Communism. Once the proletariat (working class) had attained political power, a more just social system could be birthed.

The proletariat will use its political supremacy to wrest, by degrees, all capital from the bourgeoisie, to centralize all instruments of production in the hands of the State, i.e., of the proletariat organized as the ruling class; and to increase the total of productive forces as rapidly as possible. Of course, in the beginning, this cannot be effected except by means of despotic inroads on the rights of property.23

This concept of social justice, the raising of an “oppressed” class through the degradation of another class, is a reactionary process based on the arousing of envy. At this base level, and in other respects, Communism is directly linked to the French Revolution—an event that had sparked worldwide revolutionary fervor, and one whose shots are still echoing today. Austrian philosopher and defender of freedom, Erik von Kuehnelt-Leddihn, provides historical context:

. . . how many people were murdered or killed in battle because of the ideas of the French Revolution in their various stages, guises, and evolutionary forms, because of the ideas of equality, ethnic or racist identity, a “classless society,” a “world safe for democracy,” a “racially pure people,” “true social justice achieved by social engineering.”24

Weaving the thread of envy and social change, Kuehnelt-Leddihn reminds us:

In the last 200 years the exploitation of envy, its mobilization among the masses, coupled with the denigration of individuals, but more frequently of classes, races, nations or religious communities has been the very key to political success. . . . All leftist “isms” harp on this theme (i.e., on the privilege of groups, minority groups, to be sure, who are objects of envy and at the same time subjects of intellectual-moral inferiorities. They have no right to their exalted positions. They ought to conform to the rest, become identical with “the people,” renounce their privileges, conform. If they speak another language, they ought to drop it and talk the lingo of the majority. If they are wealthy their riches should be taxed away or confiscated).25

This method of arousing envy, often disguised as virtue—“we’re doing this for the poor and oppressed”—is built upon a sense of moral superiority and indignation, which then ferments into loathing and “social action.” At this point, the emotion of the ideal becomes the driver of transformation. Perched on this self-constructed high point, we quickly sanction socialism (the theft of all for the “greater good”). Or, not content by the slowness of socialism, Communism is pursued through revolution (the gutting of one class for the “greater good”). Either way, collectivism is instituted, which is the empowerment of those who claim to guide the general good. In all of this, they say, democracy takes on a purification role, expressed as “Mob Rule.” Whoever controls the biggest mob through the emotion of the ideal is the one who rules. Social change then occurs either through the ballot box or the barrel of a gun. It doesn’t matter: the Mob has spoken; “equality” will be enforced, and we can bask in the “warm herd feeling of brotherhood.”26

Literary critic and former Marxist, Herbert Read, well understood these connections:

Communism is an extreme form of democracy, and it is totalitarian: but equally the totalitarian state in the form of fascism is an extreme form of democracy. All forms of socialism, whether state socialism of the Russian kind, or national socialism of the German kind, or democratic socialism of the British kind, are professedly democratic, that is to say, they all obtain popular assent by the manipulation of mass psychology.27

Over the years, Communist and socialist leaders have rallied the masses with the message of inequality (“oppression”) and the social-justice solution: economic equality, which, they say, will come about and “bring the end of inequalities and establish real social justice.”28 In the current climate of the 2020s, Critical Race Theory has been resurrected and is being introduced to millions (including school children) to help bring about the socialist, Marxist plan for Western society.

In 1898, Eugene V. Debs—later dubbed “America’s greatest Marxist”—equated a collective society, industrial freedom, and social justice.29 A few years later, during World War I, he noted that permanent peace based on social justice wouldn’t occur until “national industrial despotism” was replaced by “international industrial democracy.” Economic profit was anathema to peace, and the ending of war could only come with the ending of “profit and plunder among nations.”30 A new order was needed where one class was stripped and replaced by a more progressive and global apparatus.

V.I. Lenin and his gang “came to power with an ambitious program of measures designed to ensure social justice and improve the lot of the poor.”31 Maxim Gorky, a friend of Lenin, couches this in glowing words of endearment:

The heroic deeds which [Lenin] achieved are surrounded by no glittering halo. His was that heroism which Russia knows well—the unassuming, austere life of self-sacrifice of the true Russian revolutionary intellectual who, in his unshakable belief in the possibility of social justice on earth, renounces all the pleasures of life in order to toil for the happiness of mankind.32

The result was disastrous. Mervyn Matthews tells us, “The efforts to banish ‘capitalist exploitation’ had all but destroyed the wealthier classes without benefiting more than a tiny proportion of the poor.”33

But it did benefit Lenin and company. Never mind the mountain of corpses; progress always comes with a price. By 1922, the Russian Revolution had cost the lives of six to ten million.

Decades later in the Americas, Castro summed up the Cuban revolution “as an aspiration for social justice.”34 Che Guevara couched his bloody revolution as an “armed struggle for freedom of rights and social justice.”35 This crude theme is common to all leftist uprisings because it rests in the heart of all leftist ideologies. Socialist author Celia Hart put it this way:

With the exploiting classes there will never be social justice; without social justice there will never be peace . . . Never before has the world needed, as now, to remember November seven [the anniversary of the October Revolution]. Never before must we understand that the banner of Bolshevism never died . . . And let us shout to our enemies, regardless of whether they call us terrorists, that we will not fight for the imperialist war, or for the miserable peace of injustices; we will fight together for the socialist revolution in permanent combat. Workers of the World, Unite!36

It’s a radical call. Today we see social justice linked to a myriad of radical movements, including environmentalism. Nice sounding, morally high terms arise from this Marxist-green marriage: “Eco-justice,” “green justice,” and “climate justice.” How does this look?

In 1990, the Manitoba government, in partnership with UNESCO convened the prestigious World Environment Energy and Economic Conference. The theme was provocative: “Sustainable Development Strategies and the New World Order.” A report was released with the findings, titled “Sustainable Development for a New World Agenda.” Chapter 2, “Towards a Global Green Constitution,” fleshed out a section with the subtitle “Social Justice.” Population control, green energy regulations, and accounting systems that suggested “an official global policy of one child per family” and the “principle of global economic equality” would be central to the “green government,” the text reported. Human rights would also be at the forefront.

“Intolerable attitudes” wouldn’t be tolerated, all in the name of protecting the oppressed. Now, real oppression is evil. Nobody in his or her right mind wants oppression to occur or flourish. But social justice ala collectivism is the most dangerous form of oppression imaginable. Moreover, the truly downtrodden—like the peasants of the old Soviet Union—rarely have their load lightened under social justice. Instead, with the destruction of the creative capital inherent in a free market, the plight of the poor continues. In fact, life often becomes more difficult.

No wonder F.A. Hayek called Marxist-based social justice a “pseudo-ethics”—one that “fails every test which a system of moral rules must satisfy in order to secure a peace and voluntary co-operation of free men.”37

Getting Our Terms Right

“My church has a social justice mandate . . . This is something I support.” Sounds nice, but can you tell me what you mean? The usual response I get, thankfully, centers on feeding the poor, helping at a homeless shelter or safe house, assisting the elderly, working with troubled teens, or supporting an orphanage.

Sorry, that’s not social justice. The dominant social-justice concept for the past 150 years has been centered on the sliding slope of papal-advocated wealth redistribution, alongside a Marxist version of collectivism. Feeding the poor and assisting the helpless, from a Christian perspective, isn’t social justice—its biblical compassion, a generous act of love. Such acts of compassion engage individual lives and are based on the Christian call of loving others more than self. This is the heart of compassion: An individual sees a need and operating out of love, reaches to meet that need. Churches too are to function in a similar manner. A need is evident and moved by compassion, the congregation works to solve the dilemma. Coercion never enters the picture, nor does a political agenda emerge, nor is a call for economic equality heard.

The biblical parable of the Good Samaritan demonstrates true compassion (Luke 10). A Jewish man has been beaten, robbed, and left to die on the road. Various people pass him by, including the religiously pious. However, a Samaritan traveler sees the individual, and although the Samaritan is culturally alienated from the Jewish man, he recognizes the desperation and individually takes action—dressing his wounds and providing a place of rest and refuge. And the Samaritan pays for it himself without demanding remuneration or compensation, either from the victim, his family, or community or from the government or ruling class. However, if the Samaritan were a supporter of the dominant theme in social justice, he would have acted with a different motive for different ends. The Samaritan would have used the occasion to lobby for social transformation:

  • The robbers were really victims of an unjust economic system and had acted in response to the oppression of the capital class.
  • In order to bring justice to this oppressed class and to steer them back to a caring community, equitable wealth redistribution should take place.
  • Who will pay the victim’s medical bills? The community or the rich.

In the social-justice framework, another agenda lurks behind the tragedy: A political/economic cause is piggybacked and leveraged—the cause of economic equality through wealth redistribution. This isn’t about truly helping the victim; it’s about using the victim. Biblical justice, on the other hand, never seeks to dismantle class structures. Evil actions are condemned, but this isn’t specific to particular social strata. Consider the words of Leviticus 19:15, “Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect [be partial to] the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbor.”

In other words, according to the Bible, true justice means we do not show partiality to someone based on whether he or she is poor or is rich, but rather true justice is based on the standards of righteousness that God has put forth in His Word. God made us different from each other. We are unequal in aptitude, talent, skill, work ethic, priorities, etc. Inevitably, these differences result in some individuals producing and earning far more wealth than others. To the extent that those in the social-justice crowd obsess about eliminating economic inequality, they are at war with the nature of the Creator’s creation.

The Bible doesn’t condemn economic inequality. Jesus, Himself, didn’t condemn economic inequality. Yes, He repeatedly warned about the snares of material wealth and especially the love of money; He exploded the comfortable conventionality of the Pharisaical tendency to regard prosperity as a badge of honor and superiority; He commanded compassion toward the poor and suffering. But He also told his disciples, “ye have the poor always with you” (Matthew 26:11), and in the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:24-30), He condemned the failure to productively use one’s God-given talents—whether many or few, exceptional or ordinary—by having a lord take money from the one who had the least and give it to him who had the most, thereby increasing economic inequality.

The Lord’s mission was to redeem us from sin, not to redistribute our property or impose economic equality on us. In fact, Jesus explicitly declined to undermine property rights or preach economic equality act when He told the man who wanted Jesus to tell his brother to share an inheritance with him, “Man, who made me a judge or divider over you” (Luke 12:14).

I must confess that it’s easy to fall into the social-justice way of thinking. My childhood rant over what I perceived to be injustices showed me, in retrospect, the power of an emotional ideal. Yet, if by some twist I had followed up on my self-righteous emotional outburst and had become a social-justice advocate in the true sense of the phrase, a sad irony would have occurred: In the name of “justice,” I would have promoted socially sanctioned theft. All for one collective, and theft for all.

Let us act with compassion, be charitable, and pursue true justice. Let us be wise in our actions, clear in our language, and honest in our motives.

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God. (Micah 6:8)

Students+dancing+during+Friday+nights+Queer+Prom+event.+

BY C. MITCHELL SHAW

SEE: https://thenewamerican.com/queer-prom-at-cino-catholic-in-name-only-university/;

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

In late February, DePaul University — an ostensibly Catholic institution in Chicago — hosted its first-ever “Queer Prom.” The event, which was sponsored by DePaul’s Student Government Association (SGA), was open to all students, but the stated purpose of the “Queer Prom,” according to the student newspaper, was to create “a safe space for those in the LGBTQ+ community.”

In the world of Catholic colleges and universities, there are two types of institutions: authentic Catholic institutions which stand up for Catholic teaching, and CINO (Catholic in Name Only) institutions, such as DePaul. Sadly, the CINOs outnumber the authentic institutions in the academic world.

As part and parcel of the lack of anything resembling genuine Catholicity at DePaul, it is worth pointing out that The DePaulina — the DePaul University student newspaper — is little more than a mouthpiece for the Left. The site is positively crawling with “gender fluidity,” “non-Binary,” “abortion rights,” and other Left-wing issues.

So it is no surprise that The DePaulina went all-in on the “Queer Prom.” The paper described the “Queer Prom” as an event “in close quarters and glitter on nearly everyone’s eyelids” where “several couples dance against each other as single people form dance circles.” The paper goes on to describe how the participants were seen to “sing out the lyrics to every song while standing intensely close to their friends, strangers, and lovers, smiling behind their masks.”

The article quotes SGA senator Riley Reed — who was one of the event’s main organizers — as saying, “I think the amount of diversity we had in the room [and] the number of people that we had here for an event that’s still during Covid times was really great. Reed added, “I think the most beautiful thing I noticed was how many different types of people were here and how people could just let loose and have fun, especially with a lot of the different laws we’ve seen being passed in Florida and Texas. I think that was just really motivating to see all these amazing queer people coming out and celebrating themselves.”

Like similar “Culture War” issues, the Catholic “Queer Prom” scourge is spreading rapidly. And while the LGBTQ+ lobby would have one think such events are all rainbows and smiley faces, that is not how some students at Catholic educational institutions feel about them.

Nicholas Baker, a student at Saint Louis University, a Catholic institution in Missouri, told Campus Reform that his university would be hosting a similar event, sponsored by a group called Rainbow Alliance. Baker went on to tell Campus Reform, “I’m incredibly disappointed to see these supposedly Catholic institutions bow down to the pressure of our secular society,” adding, “As Catholics and Christians, we are supposed to defend truth and confront sin, not celebrate it.”

Baker accused CINO universities of playing a rousing game of “bait and switch,” saying, “These schools dupe their prospective students and donors into believing they’re Catholic, and then pull the rug out from underneath.”

Baker’s assertion is spot on. When one enrolls in a Catholic university, he has the right to expect that university to actually be Catholic. And the teaching of the Catholic Church on this issue is very clear. While The Paulina and the Rainbow Alliance would have one believe that (1) one can be a practicing Catholic and a practicing homosexual (or bi-sexual, or trans-sexual, or whatever comes next in the ever-growing list of sexual perversions) and (2) that the “strict” moral teaching of the Church is one of hostility and hatred toward homosexuals, the facts say otherwise.

As the Reverend Philip Smith — parochial vicar at Most Blessed Sacrament Church and Corpus Christi University Parish in Toledo, Ohio — illustrates very well in his 5 Myths about the Teaching of the Catholic Church on Homosexuality, while the Catholic Church teaches that all “homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered,” she also teaches that homosexuals “must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity” and that “Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided.” The Church also teaches that “Homosexual persons are called to chastity. By the virtues of self-mastery that teach them inner freedom, at times by the support of disinterested friendship, by prayer and sacramental grace, they can and should gradually and resolutely approach Christian perfection.” His observations are taken directly from the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

For Catholic Universities to defy Church teaching and host events celebrating sexual perversion is a scandal. And while this should be a matter for Catholic bishops to handle, this again illustrates that American bishops are remiss in their duties as shepherds, as they have been in dealing with pro-abortion “Catholic” politicians.

Pope to Consecrate Russia and Ukraine to Immaculate Heart of Mary

WILL PAGAN CATHOLICISM WORK THROUGH MARY'S INTERCESSION? NOT LIKELY!

Pope Francis will consecrate Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on Friday during the Celebration of Penance that he will preside over in St Peter's Basilica, the Vatican announced Wednesday.

The Director of the Holy See Press Office, Matteo Bruni, said in a statement: “The same act, on the same day, will be performed in Fatima by Cardinal Konrad Krajewski, papal almoner, who is being sent there by the Pope."

The day of the Feast of the Annunciation of the Lord was chosen for the consecration.

The news was greeted with joy by Catholic leaders in both Ukraine and Russia.

“This is a spiritual act long-awaited by the people of Ukraine," said  Major Archbishop Sviatoslav Shevchuk, the head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. "Since the beginning of Russian aggression in 2014, Ukrainian Catholics have been urgently requesting this Act to prevent the worsening of the war and the dangers coming from Russia.”

The Archbishop of Lviv, Mieczysław Mokrzycki, also gave thanks for the consecration.

“In 1917, Our Lady of Fatima said that, in order to stop the war and the persecution of the Church, we must pray and consecrate Russia to her Heart and also take Communion on the first five Saturdays of the month,” he said.

Earlier Wednesday, Patriarch Kirill of the Russian Orthodox Church and Pope Francis discussed the war in Ukraine. It was the first known contact between the two religious leaders since the conflict began.

The Moscow Patriarchy said in a statement that the two discussed the "humanitarian aspects of the ongoing crisis" and the importance of pursuing peace talks.

They also discussed "what actions the Russian Orthodox and the Roman Catholic churches could take to overcome its consequences," the Russian side said.

In its readout of the conversation, which took place in a video call, the Vatican said the pope told Kirill: "The ones who pay the price of war are the people, the Russian soldiers and the people who are bombarded and die."

Kirill, 75, a close ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has made statements defending Moscow's actions in Ukraine and sees the war as a bulwark against a West he considers decadent, particularly over the acceptance of homosexuality.

At his general audience earlier on Wednesday, Francis evoked the specter of a nuclear war, where whoever is left of humanity would have to start all over again on "the day after," and appeared to ask God to stop the aggressor in Ukraine.

Metropolitan (Archbishop) Hilarion of the Russian Orthodox Church's external affairs office and Cardinal Kurt Koch, head of the Vatican Council for Christian Unity, also took part in the conversation, both statements said.

On Wednesday evening, the Vatican's number two, Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin, said a Mass for peace in Ukraine in St. Peter's Basilica attended by both the Ukrainian and Russian ambassadors to the Vatican.

Christian Teacher Suing School Board After Being Suspended for Using Wrong Transgender Pronouns

SEE: https://americanfaith.com/christian-teacher-suing-school-board-after-being-suspended-for-using-wrong-transgender-pronouns/;

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

A Christian teacher in Kansas is suing her school board, the superintendent, and the principal after allegedly being suspended for using a student’s wrong transgender pronouns.

Fort Riley Middle School teacher Pamela Ricard claims the suspension violated her First Amendment religious freedom rights.

The complaint said:

Ms. Ricard believes that God created human beings as either male or female, that this sex is fixed in each person from the moment of conception, and that it cannot be changed, regardless of an individual person’s feelings, desires, or preferences. Any policy that requires Ms. Ricard to refer to a student by a gendered, nonbinary, or plural pronoun (e.g., he/him, she/her, they/them, zhe/zher, etc.) or salutation (Mr., Miss, Ms.) or other gendered language that is different from the student’s biological sex actively violates Ms. Ricard’s religious beliefs

The lawsuit claims the school board suspended her and issued a written reprimand for failing to follow the school’s policies regarding diversity and inclusion.

On April 7, 2021, Ricard allegedly called one of her students “miss” to gain her attention. Another classmate emailed Ricard after class informing her of the student’s different first name and new he/him pronouns.

The following day, Ricard addressed the student by her last name, avoiding using pronouns entirely. The same classmate who emailed Ricard, frustrated, left a note on her desk calling her “transphobic,” adding, “my pronouns are he/they btw.”

The classmate’s note said:

His pronouns are He/Him & if you cant act like an Adult & respect him & his pronouns then prepare yourself to deal with his mother since you cant be a decent human being and respect him. All youre doing right now is showing that youre transphobic & don’t care that youre being visibly transphobic.

Two days after the initial incident, Ricard discussed the issue with school officials, the complaint said. Later that day, the district put Ricard on a three-day paid suspension while school officials investigated any possible violations of school board policy, the complaint alleges.

Once Ricard returned from the suspension, the school reprimanded her for allegedly violating school board policies. The board also ordered Ricard to use the student’s new name and pronouns. Ricard signed the reprimand but handwrote, “I do not agree with this,” the complaint said.

During an August closed board hearing regarding Richard’s employee discipline, the board allegedly denied her request for a “specific accommodation and policy that would allow her to continue to address students by their names but refrain from using preferred pronouns or other gender-specific language, for a student when such pronouns or language were different than the student’s biological sex.”

Although the school suspended her in April, Ricard claims the school had no “formal policy regarding student preferred name and pronoun use at the time she was suspended and reprimanded.”

One week after her suspension, the school principal sent all teachers training documents on “Diversity Training on Gender Identity and Gender Expression as well as a protocol document regarding the Use of Preferred Names and Pronouns,” according to the complaint. The district then implemented a policy requiring teachers to use their students’ preferred names and pronouns in October.

“No public school teacher should be forced to contradict their core beliefs in order to teach math to middle schoolers,” Ricard told the Washington Post. “I treat all students with respect, but the district has rejected any attempts to find a compromise that respects students without violating my convictions.”

“The school district disciplined Ms. Ricard not for something she said, but for something she couldn’t say,” Ricard’s attorney said.

The case is Ricard v. USD 475 Geary County Schools School Board, No. 5:22-cv-04015, in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas.

As Trump and former VP part ways, Pence eyes POTUS.

QUICK FACTS:
  • President Donald Trump is effectively ruling out asking former Vice President Mike Pence to be his running mate should he run for a third White House bid in 2024 and win the Republican nomination, The Washington Examiner reports.
  • “I don’t think the people would accept it,” Trump told The Examiner Tuesday evening during a telephone interview from Mar-a-Lago, his private club and political headquarters in Palm Beach, Florida.
  • Trump pointed to disagreement between himself and Pence rising in the aftermath of the 2020 election, suggesting their differences are too stark to overcome, The Examiner notes.
  • Trump claims the election was stolen and wanted Pence to overturn the results during the congressional certification of Joe Biden’s Electoral College win.
  • But Trump did characterize Pence as a “really fine person,” even though he signaled their relationship might be irrevocably broken.
  • “Mike and I had a great relationship except for the very important factor that took place at the end. We had a very good relationship,” Trump said. “I haven’t spoken to him in a long time.”
PENCE FOR PRESIDENT?:
  • Pence is considering a 2024 bid, The Examiner reports.
  • He’s also signaled he wouldn’t automatically stand aside if Trump were to run, accelerating efforts to establish his independence from President Trump.
  • Pence recently told a gathering of conservative lawyers Trump is flat “wrong” to claim the vice president is constitutionally empowered to throw out the results of a presidential election.
  • He also took aim at Trump’s remarks toward Russian President Vladimir Putin during remarks to party financiers gathered for a Republican National Committee donor retreat, saying, “There is no room in this party for apologists for Putin.” Trump had previously referred to Putin as “smart,” “savvy,” and “a genius” in certain contexts while insisting that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine never would have happened on his watch.
  • “We cannot win by fighting yesterday’s battles or by relitigating the past,” said Pence.
  • Trump was recently the overwhelming favorite for the GOP nomination in the 2024 presidential election, garnering 59% of the vote in a straw poll conducted at a Conservative Political Action Conference‘s meeting in Orlando, Florida, even beating Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis by 31 points.
  • Pence was among the 1 percenters, along with Sens. Rand Paul of Kentucky, Tim Scott of South Carolina and Ted Cruz of Texas, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, former UN ambassador Nikki Haley, and Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin.
BACKGROUND:
  • Pence argues the Constitution granted him no authority to overturn the Electoral College results.
  • “Mike thought he was going to be a human conveyor belt, that no matter how fraudulent the votes, you have to send them up to the Old Crow,” Trump said, using his nickname for Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, The Examiner notes.
  • “But that turned out to be wrong. Because now, as you know, they are feverishly working to try and get it so that the vice president cannot do what Mike said he couldn’t do,” Trump said, referring to proposals to overhaul the Electoral Count Act. “Obviously, they were either lying, misrepresenting, or they didn’t know.”
  • “I was disappointed in Mike,” Trump said.

Archbishop Viganò: Globalists Have Fomented War in Ukraine to Establish the Tyranny of the New World Order

The Ukrainian people, regardless of what ethnic group they may belong to, are merely the latest unwitting hostages of the supranational totalitarian regime that brought the national economies of the entire world to their knees through the COVID deception.

Nothing is lost with peace. All can be lost with war. Let men return to understanding. Let them resume negotiating. Negotiating with goodwill and with respect for each other’s rights, let them realize that an honorable success is never precluded when there are sincere and active negotiations. And they will feel great – with true greatness – if imposing silence on the voices of passion, whether collective or private and leaving reason to its proper domain, they will spare their brothers’ bloodshed and their homeland ruin.

Thus it was that on August 24, 1939, Pius XII addressed both rulers and peoples as war was imminent. These were not words of empty pacifism, nor of complicit silence about the multiple violations of justice that were being carried out in many quarters. In that radio message, which some people still remember hearing, the appeal of the Roman Pontiff invoked “respect for each other’s rights” as a prerequisite for fruitful peace negotiations.

The Media Narrative

If we look at what is happening in Ukraine, without being misled by the gross falsifications of the mainstream media, we realize that respect for each other’s rights has been completely ignored; indeed, we have the impression that the Biden Administration, NATO, and the European Union deliberately want to maintain a situation of obvious imbalance, precisely to make impossible any attempt at a peaceful resolution of the Ukrainian crisis, provoking the Russian Federation to trigger a conflict. Herein lies the seriousness of the problem. This is the trap set for both Russia and Ukraine, using both of them to enable the globalist elite to carry out its criminal plan.

It should not surprise us that pluralism and freedom of speech, so praised in countries that claim to be democratic, are daily disavowed by censorship and intolerance towards opinions not aligned with the official narrative. Manipulations of this kind have become the norm during the so-called pandemic, to the detriment of doctors, scientists, and dissenting journalists, who have been discredited and ostracized for the mere fact of daring to question the effectiveness of experimental serums. Two years later, the truth about the adverse effects and the unfortunate management of the health emergency has proven them right, but the truth is stubbornly ignored because it does not correspond to what the system wanted and still wants today.

If the world media have so far been able to lie shamelessly on a matter of strict scientific relevance, spreading lies and hiding reality, we should ask ourselves why, in the present situation, they should suddenly rediscover that intellectual honesty and respect for the code of ethics widely denied with COVID.

But if this colossal fraud has been supported and disseminated by the media, it must be recognized that national and international health institutions, governments, magistrates, law enforcement agencies, and the Catholic hierarchy itself all share responsibility for the disaster – each in its own sphere by actively supporting or failing to oppose the narrative –  a disaster that has affected billions of people in their health, their property, the exercise of their individual rights and even their very lives. Even in this case, it is difficult to imagine that those who have been guilty of such crimes in support of a pandemic that was intended and maliciously amplified could suddenly have a jolt of dignity and show solicitude for their citizens and their homeland when war threatens their security and their economy.

These, of course, can be the prudent reflections of those who want to remain neutral and look with detachment and almost disinterest at what is happening around them. But if we deepen our knowledge of the facts and document them, relying on authoritative and objective sources, we discover that doubts and perplexities soon become disturbing certainties.

Even if we only want to limit our investigation to the economic aspect, we understand that news agencies, politics, and public institutions themselves depend on a small number of financial groups belonging to an oligarchy that, significantly, is united not only by money and power but by the ideological affiliation that guides its action and interference in the politics of nations and the whole world. This oligarchy shows its tentacles in the UN, NATO, the World Economic Forum, the European Union, and in “philanthropic” institutions such as George Soros’ Open Society and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

All these entities are private and answer to no one but themselves, and at the same time, they have the power to influence national governments, including through their own representatives who are made to be elected or appointed to key posts. They admit it themselves when they are received with all the honors by heads of state and world leaders, respected and feared by these leaders as the true masters of the fate of the world. Thus, those who hold power in the name of the “people” find themselves trampling on the people’s will and restricting their rights, in order to be obedient courtiers to masters whom nobody has elected but who nevertheless dictate their political and economic agenda to the nations.

We come then to the Ukraine crisis, which is presented to us as a consequence of Vladimir Putin’s expansionist arrogance towards an independent and democratic nation over which he is trying to claim absurd rights. The “warmonger Putin” is said to be massacring the defenseless population, who have courageously arisen to defend the soil of their homeland, the sacred borders of their nation, and the violated freedoms of the citizens. The European Union and the United States, “defenders of democracy,” are therefore said to be unable not to intervene by means of NATO to restore Ukraine’s autonomy, drive out the “invader” and guarantee peace. In the face of the “tyrant’s arrogance,” it is said that the peoples of the world ought to form a common front, imposing sanctions on the Russian Federation and sending soldiers, weapons, and economic aid to “poor” President Zelenskyy, “national hero” and “defender” of his people. As proof of Putin’s “violence,” the media spread images of bombings, military searches, and destruction, attributing responsibility to Russia. And there’s still more: precisely in order to guarantee a “lasting peace,” the European Union and NATO are opening wide their arms to welcome Ukraine as members. And in order to prevent “Soviet propaganda”, Europe is now blacking out Russia Today and Sputnik, in order to ensure that information is “free and independent.”

This is the official narrative, to which everyone conforms. Being at war, dissent immediately becomes desertion, and those who dissent are guilty of treason and deserving of more or less serious sanctions, starting with public execration and ostracism, well experienced with COVID against those who are “un-vaxxed”. But the truth, if you want to know it, allows us to see things differently and to judge the facts for what they are and not for how they are presented to us. This is a true and proper unveiling, as indicated by the etymology of the Greek word ἀλήθεια. Or perhaps, with an eschatological gaze, a revelation, an ἀποκάλυψις.

The expansion of NATO

First of all, it is necessary to remember the facts, which do not lie and are not susceptible to alteration. And the facts, however irritating they are to recall to those who try to censor them, tell us that since the fall of the Berlin Wall the United States has extended its sphere of political and military influence to almost all the satellite states of the former Soviet Union, even recently, annexing into NATO Poland, the Czech Republic, and Hungary (1999); Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Romania (2004); Albania and Croatia (2009); Montenegro (2017); and North Macedonia (2020). The North Atlantic Treaty Organization is preparing to expand to Ukraine, Georgia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia. Practically speaking, the Russian Federation is under military threat – from weapons and missile bases – just a few kilometers from its borders, while it has no military base in similar proximity to the United States.

To be considering the possible expansion of NATO into Ukraine, without thinking that it will arouse Russia’s legitimate protests, is nothing short of puzzling, especially given the fact that in 1991 NATO pledged to the Kremlin not to expand further. Not only that: at the end of 2021, Der Spiegel published drafts of a treaty with the United States and an agreement with NATO on security guarantees (herehere, and here). Moscow demanded legal guarantees from its Western partners that would prevent NATO from further eastward expansion by adding Ukraine to the alliance and also from establishing military bases in post-Soviet countries. The proposals also contained a clause on the non-deployment of offensive weapons by NATO near Russia’s borders and on the withdrawal of NATO forces in Eastern Europe back to their 1997 positions.

As we can see, NATO has failed to keep its commitments to Russia or has at least forced the situation at a very delicate moment for geopolitical balances. We should ask ourselves why the United States – or rather the American deep state which regained power after the electoral fraud that brought Joe Biden to the White House – wants to create tensions with Russia and involve its European partners in the conflict, with all the consequences we can imagine.

As General Marco Bertolini, former commander of the Joint Summit Operational Command has lucidly observed: “The United States did not just win the Cold War but also wanted to humiliate [Russia] by taking everything that in a certain sense fell within its area of influence. [Putin] bore with the Baltic countries, Poland, Romania, and Bulgaria [joining NATO]. Faced with Ukraine [joining NATO], which would have taken away any possibility of access to the Black Sea, he reacted” (here). And he adds: “There is a problem of the regime’s stability, a situation has arisen with a fairly unlikely prime minister [Zelenskyy], one who comes from the world of entertainment.” The general does not fail to recall, in the case of a US attack on Russia, that “the Global Hawks flying over Ukraine depart from Sigonella [Italy]; Italy is an American military base in large part. The risk is there, it is present and real” (here).

Interests arising from the blockade of Russian gas supplies

We should also ask ourselves whether, behind the destabilization of the delicate balance between the European Union and Russia, there are also economic interests, deriving from the need of EU countries to obtain American liquid gas (for which we also need the regasification plants which many nations are deprived of, and for which in any case we will have to pay much more) instead of Russian gas (which is more ecological).

The decision of Italian oil and gas company ENI to suspend investments in Gazprom’s Blue Stream pipeline (from Russia to Turkey) also entails the deprivation of an additional source of supply, since it feeds the Trans-Atlantic Pipeline (from Turkey to Italy).

It, therefore, does not sound like a coincidence if, in August 2021, Zelenskyy declared that he considered the Nord Stream 2 pipeline between Russia and Germany as “a dangerous weapon, not only for Ukraine but for all of Europe” (here): bypassing Ukraine, it deprives Kyiv of about one billion euros per year in revenue from transit tariffs. “We view this project exclusively through the prism of security and consider it a dangerous geopolitical weapon of the Kremlin,” the Ukrainian president said, agreeing with the Biden administration. American Undersecretary of State Victoria Nuland said: “If Russia invades Ukraine, Nord Stream 2 will not go forward.” And so it has happened, not without serious economic damage to German investments.

The Pentagon’s virological laboratories in Ukraine

Still, on the subject of American interests in Ukraine, it is worth mentioning the virological laboratories located in Ukraine which are under the control of the Pentagon, and where it seems that only US specialists with diplomatic immunity are employed directly under the American Ministry of Defense.

We should also remember the complaint made by Putin regarding the collection of genomic data about the population, which can be used for bacteriological weapons with genetic selection (herehere, and here). Information about the activity of laboratories in Ukraine is obviously difficult to confirm, but it is understandable that the Russian Federation considered, not without reason, that these laboratories could constitute an additional bacteriological threat to the safety of the population. The U.S. Embassy has removed all files related to the Biological Threat Reduction Program from its website (here).

Maurizio Blondet writes:

Event 201, which simulated the pandemic explosion a year before it happened, was attended (along with the usuals, Bill and Melinda) by the apparently inoffensive John Hopkins University with its blessed Center for Health Security. The humanitarian institution had for a long time a less innocent name: it was called Center for Civilian Biodefence Strategies and did not deal with the health of Americans, but rather with its opposite: the response to military attacks of bio-terrorism. It was practically a civil-military organization. When it held its first conference in February 1999 in Crystal City in Arlington [Virginia], where the Pentagon is located, it brought together 950 doctors, military personnel, federal officials and health officials to participate in a simulation exercise. The aim of the simulation is to counter an imagined “militarized” smallpox attack. It is only the first of the exercises that will blossom in Event 201 and in the Pandemic Imposture (here).

Experiments also emerge on the Ukrainian military (here) and interventions by the American Embassy regarding the Ukrainian Prosecutor Lutsenko in 2016 so that he would not investigate “a billionaire round of funds between G. Soros and B. Obama” (here).

An indirect threat to China’s expansionist ambitions on Taiwan

The current Ukrainian crisis entails secondary, but no less serious, consequences on the geopolitical balance between China and Taiwan. Russia and Ukraine are the only producers of palladium and neon, which are indispensable for the production of microchips.

Moscow’s possible retaliation has attracted more attention in recent days after market research group Techcet published a report highlighting the dependence of many semiconductor manufacturers on materials of Russian and Ukrainian origin such as neon, palladium and others. According to Techcet’s estimates, more than 90% of U.S. supplies of semiconductor neon come from Ukraine, while 35% of U.S. palladium comes from Russia. […] According to the US International Trade Commission, neon prices rose by 600% before Russia’s annexation of the Crimean peninsula in 2014, because chip companies relied on some Ukrainian companies […]

If it is true that a Chinese invasion of Formosa would put the global technology supply chain at risk, it is also true that a sudden shortage of raw materials from Russia could stop production, so as to make the island lose the “microchip shield” and induce Beijing to attempt the annexation of Taipei. (SOURCE)

Biden’s conflict of interest in Ukraine

Another issue that we tend not to analyze in-depth is that related to Burisma, an oil and gas company operating on the Ukrainian market since 2002.

[D]uring the American presidency of Barack Obama (from 2009 to 2017) his right hand man with a “delegation” to handle international politics was Joe Biden, and it is since then that the “protection’ offered by the Democrat US leader was given to Ukrainian nationalists, a line that created the irreconcilable disagreement between Kiev and Moscow. […] It was Joe Biden in those years who carried out the policy of bringing Ukraine closer to NATO. He wanted to take away political and economic power from Russia. […] In recent years, Joe Biden’s name has also been associated with a scandal over Ukraine that had also shaken his candidacy. […] It was April 2014 when Burisma Holdings, the largest energy company in Ukraine (active in both gas and oil), hired Hunter Biden as a consultant […] with a salary of $50,000 a month. All transparent, except that during those months Joe Biden continued the American policy aimed at regaining possession by Ukraine of those areas of the Donbass that have now become Republics recognized by Russia. The Donetsk area is believed to be rich in unexplored gas fields that have been targeted by Burisma Holdings. An international policy intertwined with the economic one that made the American media turn up their noses in those years (SOURCE).

Democrats claimed that Trump had created a media scandal to harm Biden’s campaign, but his accusations turned out to be true. Joe Biden himself, during a meeting at the Rockefeller Council for Foreign Relations, admitted to having intervened on then-President Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister Arsenij Yatseniuk to prevent investigations into his son Hunter by Procurator-General Viktor Shokin. Biden had threatened “to withhold a billion dollars loan guarantee in the United States during a December 2015 trip to Kiev,” reports the New York Post. “If [the Procurator General Shokin] is not fired, you will not have the money” (here and here). And the Prosecutor was effectively fired, saving Hunter from further scandal.

Biden’s interference in Kyiv politics, in exchange for favors to Burisma and corrupt oligarchs, confirms the current US President’s interest in protecting his family and image, fueling disorder in Ukraine and even war. How can a person who uses his role to take care of his own interests and cover up the crimes of his family members govern honestly and without being subject to blackmail?

The Ukrainian nuclear question

Finally, there is the issue of Ukrainian nuclear weapons. On February 19, 2022, at a conference in Munich, Zelenskyy announced his intention to end the Budapest Memorandum (1994), which prohibits Ukraine from developing, proliferating, and using atomic weapons. Among the other clauses of the Memorandum, there is also the one that obliges Russia, the United States, and the United Kingdom to refrain from using economic pressure on Ukraine to influence its policy: the pressure of the IMF and the United States to grant economic aid in exchange for reforms consistent with the Great Reset represent a further violation of the agreement.

The Ukrainian Ambassador in Berlin, Andriy Melnyk, argued on Deutschlandfunk radio in 2021 that Ukraine needed to regain nuclear status if the country failed to join NATO. Ukraine’s nuclear power plants are operated, rebuilt, and maintained by the state-owned enterprise NAEK Energoatom, which completely ended its relationship with Russian companies between 2018 and 2021. Its main partners are companies that can be traced back to the US government. It is easy to understand how the Russian Federation considers the possibility of Ukraine acquiring nuclear weapons as a threat and demands Kyiv’s adherence to the non-proliferation pact.

The color revolution in Ukraine and the independence of Crimea, Donetsk, and Lugansk

In 2013, after the government of President Viktor Yanukovych decided to suspend the association agreement between Ukraine and the European Union and to forge closer economic relations with Russia, a series of protest demonstrations known as Euromaidan began, which lasted several months and culminated in the revolution that overthrew Yanukovych and led to the installation of a new government. It was an operation sponsored by George Soros, as he candidly told CNN: “I have had a foundation in Ukraine since before it became independent of Russia; this foundation has always been in business and has played a decisive role in today’s events” (herehere and here).

This change of government provoked the reaction of Yanukovych’s supporters and of a part of the Ukrainian population opposed to the pro-Western shift of Ukraine, which had not been wanted by the population but was obtained by a color revolution, of which there had been general rehearsals in previous years in Georgia, Moldova and Belarus.

Following the clashes of May 2, 2014, in which nationalist paramilitary fringes (including those of Pravyi Sektor) also intervened, there was also the massacre in Odessa. The Western press also spoke of these terrible events in a scandalized way; Amnesty International (here) and the UN denounced these crimes and documented their brutality. But no international court initiated any proceedings against those responsible, as is intended to be done today against the alleged crimes of the Russian army.

Among the many agreements not respected is also the Minsk Protocol, signed on September 5, 2014, by the Trilateral Contact Group on Ukraine, composed of representatives of Ukraine, Russia, the Donetsk People’s Republic, and the Lugansk People’s Republic. Among the points of the agreement was also the removal of armed illegal groups, military equipment, as well as fighters and mercenaries from the territory of Ukraine under the supervision of the OSCE and the disarmament of all illegal groups. Contrary to what was agreed, neo-Nazi paramilitary groups are not only officially recognized by the government, but their members are even given official assignments.

Also in 2014, Crimea, Donetsk and Lugansk declared their independence from Ukraine – in the name of self-determination of peoples recognized by the international community – and declared themselves annexed to the Russian Federation. The Ukrainian government still refuses to recognize the independence of these regions, sanctioned by popular referendum and leaves the neo-Nazi militias and the regular military forces themselves free to rage against the population, since it considers these entities as terrorist organizations. It is true that the two referendums of November 2, 2014 constitute a stretching of the Minsk Protocol, which provided only for a decentralization of power and a form of special status for the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

As Professor Franco Cardini recently pointed out, “on February 15, 2022, Russia delivered to the United States a draft of a treaty to end this situation and defend the Russian-speaking populations. Wastepaper. This war began in 2014” (here and here).

And it was a war in the intentions of those who wanted to fight the Russian minority of Donbass: “We will have a job and pensions, and they will not. We will receive bonuses for having children, and they will not. Our children will have schools and kindergartens; their children will stay in the basements. In this way we will win this war,” said President Petro Poroshenko in 2015 (here). It will not escape notice that these measures are similar to the discrimination against the so-called “un-vaxxed,” who have been deprived of work, pay, and education. Eight years of bombing in Donetsk and Lugansk, with hundreds of thousands of victims, 150 dead children, and very serious cases of torture, rape, kidnapping, and discrimination (here).

On February 18, 2022 the Presidents of Donetsk and Lugansk, Denis Pushilin and Leonid Pasechnik, ordered the evacuation of the civilian population of their provinces into the Russian Federation due to the ongoing clashes between the Donbass People’s Militia and the Ukrainian Armed Forces. On February 21, the State Duma (Lower House of the Russian Parliament) unanimously ratified the treaties of friendship, cooperation, and mutual assistance introduced by President Putin with the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. At the same time, the Russian President ordered the sending of troops from the Russian Federation to restore peace in the Donbass region.

Here one may wonder why, in a situation of blatant violation of human rights by neo-Nazi military forces and paramilitary apparatuses (who fly flags bearing swastikas and display the effigy of Adolf Hitler) against the Russian-speaking population of the independent republics, the international community feels obliged to consider the intervention of the Russian Federation worthy of condemnation, and indeed to blame Putin for the violence. Where is the much-vaunted right of the people to self-determination, which was held valid on August 24, 1991, for the proclamation of Ukraine’s independence and recognized by the international community? And why are we scandalized today by a Russian intervention in Ukraine, when NATO carried out the same sort of thing in Yugoslavia (1991), Kosovo (1999), Afghanistan (2001), Iraq (2003), and in Libya and Syria (2011), without anyone raising any objections? Not to mention that in the last ten years Israel has repeatedly hit military targets in Syria, Iran, and Lebanon to prevent the creation of a hostile armed front on its northern border, and yet no nation has proposed imposing sanctions on Tel Aviv.

It is dismaying to see with what hypocrisy the European Union and the United States – Brussels and Washington – are giving their unconditional support to President Zelenskyy, whose government for eight years now has continued to persecute Russian-speaking Ukrainians with impunity (here), for whom it is even forbidden to speak in their own language, in a nation that includes numerous ethnic groups, of which those who speak Russian represent 17.2%. And it is scandalous that they are silent about the use of civilians as human shields by the Ukrainian army, which places anti-aircraft positions inside population centers, hospitals, schools, and kindergartens precisely so that their destruction can cause deaths among the population.

The mainstream media is careful not to show images of Russian soldiers helping civilians reach safe positions (here and here) or organizing humanitarian corridors, which Ukrainian militias fire upon (here and here). Just as it is also silent about the settling of scores, massacres, violence and theft by fringes of the civilian population, to whom Zelenskyy has given weapons: the videos that can be seen on the internet give an idea of the climate of civil war that has been artfully fueled by the Ukrainian Government. To this we may also add the convicts released to be drafted into the Army and also the volunteers of the foreign legion: a mass of fanatics without rules and without training that will contribute to worsening the situation, making it unmanageable.

President Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelenskyy

As has been pointed out by many parties, the candidacy and election of Ukrainian President Zelenskyy correspond to that recent cliché, inaugurated in recent years, of a comic actor or entertainment personality being lent to politics. Do not believe that being without a suitable cursus honorum is an obstacle to the rising to the top of institutions; on the contrary: the more a person is apparently a stranger to the world of political parties, the more it is to be assumed that his success is determined by those who hold power. Zelenskyy’s performances in drag are perfectly consistent with the LGBTQ ideology that is considered by its European sponsors as an indispensable requirement of the “reform” agenda that every country ought to embrace, along with gender equality, abortion, and the green economy. No wonder Zelenskyy, a member of the WEF (here), was able to benefit from the support of Schwab and his allies to come to power and ensure that the Great Reset would also be carried out in Ukraine.

The 57-part television series that Zelenskyy produced and starred in, demonstrates that the media planned his candidacy for President of Ukraine and his election campaign. In the fiction show The Servant of the People he played the part of a high school teacher who unexpectedly became President of the Republic and fought against the corruption of politics. It is no coincidence that the series, which was absolutely mediocre, still won the WorldFest Remi Award (USA, 2016), came among the top four finalists in the category of comedy films at the Seoul International Drama Awards (South Korea), and was awarded the Intermedia Globe Silver award in the entertainment TV series category at the World Media Film Festival in Hamburg.

The media stir obtained by Zelenskyy with the television series brought him over 10 million followers on Instagram and created the premise for the establishment of the homonymous Servant of the People political party, of which Ivan Bakanov, General Manager and shareholder (along with Zelenskyy himself and the oligarch Kolomoisky) of Kvartal 95 Studio, and the owner of the TV 1+1 television network, is also a member. Zelenskyy’s image is an artificial product, a media fiction, an operation of manipulation of consensus that has managed to create the political character in the Ukrainian collective imagination that in reality, and not in fiction, has conquered power.

“Just one month before the 2019 elections that saw him win, Zelenskyy sold the company [Kvartal 95 Studio] to a friend, still finding a way to get the proceeds of the business he had officially renounced to his family. That friend was Serhiy Shefir, who was later appointed Councilor to the Presidency. […] The sale of the shares took place for the benefit of Maltex Multicapital Corp., a company owned by Shefir and registered in the British Virgin Islands” (here).

The current Ukrainian President promoted his election campaign with a commercial that was disturbing, to say the least (here), in which, holding two machine guns, he fired on members of Parliament, pointed out as corrupt or subservient to Russia.

The fight against corruption trumpeted by the Ukrainian President in the role of “servant of the people” does not correspond, however, to the picture that emerges of him from the so-called Pandora papers, in which 40 million dollars appear to have been paid to him on the eve of the elections by the Jewish billionaire Kolomoisky[1] through offshore accounts (herehere and here).[2] In his homeland, many accuse him of having taken power away from the pro-Russian oligarchs not to give it to the Ukrainian people, but rather to strengthen his own interest group and at the same time remove his political adversaries:

He liquidated the ministers of the old guard, first of all the powerful Minister of the Interior, [Arsen] Avakov. He rudely retired the president of the Constitutional Court who was acting as a check on his laws. He closed seven opposition TV channels. He arrested and accused of treason Viktor Medvedcuk, a pro-Russian sympathizer but above all the leader of the Platform of Opposition – For Life party, the second party of the Ukrainian Parliament after his Servant of the People party. He is also placing on trial for treason former President Poroshenko, who was suspicious of everyone except for those who got along with the Russians or their friends. The mayor of Kiev, the popular former world boxing champion Vitaly Klitchko, has already been subjected to several searches and seizures. In short, Zelenskyy seems to want to make a clean sweep of anyone who is not aligned with his politics (here).

On April 21, 2019, Zelenskyy was elected President of Ukraine with 73.22% of the votes, and on May 20 he was sworn in. On May 22, 2019, he appointed Ivan Bakanov, Director General of Kvartal 95, as First Deputy Head of the Security Services of Ukraine and Head of the Main Directorate for the Fight against Corruption and Organized Crime of the Central Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine. Along with Bakanov, it is worth mentioning Mykhailo Fedorov, Vice President and Minister of Digital Transformation, a member of the World Economic Forum (here). Zelenskyy himself has admitted to having as his inspiration the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau (here and here).

Zelenskyy’s relations with the IMF and the WEF

As Greece’s tragic precedent has shown, national sovereignties and the popular will expressed by parliaments are de facto erased by the decisions of international high finance, which interferes with government policies by means of blackmail and outright extortion of an economic nature. The case of Ukraine, which is one of the poorest countries in Europe, is no exception.

Shortly after Zelenskyy’s election, the International Monetary Fund threatened not to grant Ukraine a $5 billion loan if he did not comply with their demands. During a telephone conversation with the CEO of the IMF, Kristalina Georgieva, the Ukrainian President was rebuked for replacing Yakiv Smolii with a man he trusted, Kyrylo Shevchenko, who was less inclined to comply with the diktats of the IMF. Anders Åslund writes at Atlantic Council:

The problems surrounding the Zelenskyy government are mounting alarmingly. First of all, since March 2020, the President has led a reversal not only of the reforms pursued under him, but also those initiated by his predecessor Petro Poroshenko. Second, his government has not presented plausible proposals to resolve IMF concerns about Ukraine’s unfulfilled commitments. Third, the President appears to no longer have a ruling parliamentary majority, and he seems uninterested in forming a reformist majority (here).

It is evident that the IMF’s interventions are aimed at obtaining the Ukrainian government’s commitment to align itself with the economic, fiscal and social policies dictated by the globalist agenda, beginning with the “independence” of the Central Bank of Ukraine from the government: a euphemism with which the IMF calls on the Kyiv government to renounce legitimate control over its Central Bank, which is one of the ways in which national sovereignty is exercised, along with the issuance of money and the management of public debt. On the other hand, just four months earlier Kristalina Georgieva had launched the Great Reset together with Klaus Schwab, Prince Charles, and UN Secretary-General António Guterres.

What had not been possible with previous governments was brought to completion under the presidency of Zelenskyy, who entered the good graces of the WEF (here) along with the new governor of the BCU, Kyrylo Shevchenko. Less than a year later, in order to prove his subjection, Shevchenko wrote an article for the WEF entitled Central banks are the key to countries’ climate goals and Ukraine is showing the way (here). Thus Agenda 2030 is implemented, under blackmail.

There are also other Ukrainian companies that have ties to the WEF: the State Savings Bank of Ukraine (one of the largest financial institutions in Ukraine), the DTEK Group (an important private investor in the Ukrainian energy sector), and Ukr Land Farming (an agricultural leader in cultivation). Banks, energy and food are sectors perfectly in line with the Great Reset and the Fourth Industrial Revolution theorized by Klaus Schwab.

On February 4, 2021, the Ukrainian president shut down seven television stations, including ZIK, Newsone, and 112 Ukraine, all guilty of not supporting his government. As Anna Del Freo writes:

A harsh condemnation of this liberticidal act has arrived, among others, also from the European Federation of Journalists and the International Federation of Journalists, who have asked for the immediate lifting of the veto. The three broadcasters will no longer be able to broadcast for five years: they employ about 1500 people, whose jobs are now at risk. There is no real reason why the three networks should be shut down, except for the arbitrariness of the Ukrainian political apex, which accuses them of threatening information security and being under “malign Russian influence.” A strong reaction also comes from NUJU, the Ukrainian journalists’ union, which speaks of a very heavy attack on freedom of speech, given that hundreds of journalists are being deprived of the opportunity to express themselves and hundreds of thousands of citizens are being deprived of the right to be informed.

As we can see, what Putin is accused of was actually carried out by Zelenskyy and, more recently, by the European Union, with the complicity of social media platforms. Del Freo’s article notes:

“Shutting down television broadcasters is one of the most extreme forms of restriction of the freedom of the press,” said EFJ Secretary General Ricardo Gutierrez. “Nations have an obligation to ensure effective pluralism of information. It is clear that the presidential veto is not at all in line with international standards on freedom of expression.”

It would be interesting to know what statements were made by the European Federation of Journalists and the International Federation of Journalists after the blackout of Russia Today and Sputnik in Europe.

Neo-nazi and extremist movements in Ukraine

A country that calls for humanitarian aid from the international community to defend its population from Russian aggression should, in the collective imagination, stand out for respect for democratic principles and for legislation that prohibits activities and the spread of propaganda by extremist ideologies.

Neo-Nazi movements engaged in military and paramilitary actions operate freely in Ukraine, often with the official support of public institutions. These include the following: Stepan Bandera’s Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN), a movement with a Nazi, anti-Semitic and racist matrix already active in Chechnya and which is part of the Right Sector, an association of far-right movements formed at the time of the Euromaidan coup in 2013/2014; the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA); the UNA/UNSO, the paramilitary wing of the far-right political party Ukraine National Assembly; the Korchinsky Brotherhood, which offered protection in Kyiv to ISIS members (here); Misanthropic Vision (MD), a neo-Nazi network spread across 19 countries that publicly incites terrorism, extremism and hatred against Christians, Muslims, Jews, Communists, homosexuals, Americans and people of color (here).

It should be remembered that the government has given explicit support to these extremist organizations both by sending the presidential guard to the funerals of their representatives, as well as by supporting the Azov Battalion, a paramilitary organization that is officially part of the Ukrainian Army under the new name of Azov Special Operations Regiment and organized into the National Guard. The Azov Regiment is financed by the Ukrainian Jewish oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, the former governor of Dnepropetrovsk, who is also thought to be the financier of the nationalist militias of Pravyi Sektor, which are considered responsible for the Odessa massacre. We are talking about the same Kolomoisky mentioned in the Pandora Papers as a sponsor of President Zelenskyy. The battalion has relations with several far-right organizations in Europe and the United States.

Amnesty International, after a meeting on September 8, 2014, between Secretary General Salil Shetty and Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, called on the Ukrainian Government to end the abuses and war crimes committed by the volunteer battalions that operate together with the Kiev Armed Forces. The Ukrainian government has opened an official investigation into the matter, declaring that no officers or soldiers of the Azov Battalion appear to be under investigation.

In March 2015, Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov announced that the Azov Battalion would be one of the first units to be trained by US Army troops, as part of their Operation Fearless Guard training mission. US training was discontinued on June 12, 2015, when the US House of Representatives passed an amendment banning all aid (including weapons and training) to the battalion because of its neo-Nazi past. The amendment was then revoked under pressure from the CIA (here and here) and the soldiers of the Azov Battalion were trained in the United States (here and here): “We have been training these guys for eight years now. They are really good fighters. That’s where the Agency’s program could have a serious impact.”

In 2016, an OSCE report [Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe] found that the Azov Battalion was responsible for the mass killing of prisoners, the concealment of corpses in mass graves and the systematic use of physical and psychological torture techniques. Just a few days ago the Deputy Commander of the Battalion, Vadim Troyan, was appointed Chief of Police of the Oblast Region by Interior Minister Arsen Avakov.

These are the “heroes” fighting together with the Ukrainian Army against the Russian soldiers.  And these heroes of the Azov Battalion, instead of protecting their children, dare to make their own flesh into meat for slaughter, enlisting boys and girls (here and here), in violation of the Optional Protocol to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (here), concerning the involvement of minors in armed conflicts: an ad hoc legal instrument that establishes that no child under 18 is to be forcibly recruited or used directly in hostilities, either by the armed forces of a state or by armed groups.

Inevitably, the lethal weapons provided by the EU, including Draghi’s Italy, with the support of “anti-fascist” political parties, are destined to be used against these children.

The Ukrainian war in the plans of the NWO

The censorship being imposed against Russian broadcasters is clearly aimed at preventing the official narrative from being disproven by the facts. But while the Western media shows images of the video game War Thunder (here), frames from the movie Star Wars (here), explosions in China (here), videos of military parades (here), footage from Afghanistan (here), the Rome Metro (here) or images of mobile crematoria (here) by passing them off as real and recent scenes of the war in Ukraine, reality is ignored because it has already been decided to provoke a conflict as a weapon of mass distraction that legitimizes new restrictions of freedoms in Western nations, according to the plans of the World Economic Forum’s Great Reset and the United Nations’ Agenda 2030.

It is evident that the Ukrainian people, beyond the issues that diplomacy can resolve, are victims of the same global coup d’état being carried out by supranational powers that intend, not peace between nations, but rather the establishment of the tyranny of the New World Order. Just a few days ago, Ukrainian parliamentarian Kira Rudik told Fox News, while holding a Kalashnikov: “We know that we are not only fighting for Ukraine, but also for the New World Order.”

The human rights violations in Ukraine and the crimes of the neo-Nazi militias repeatedly denounced by Putin could not find a political solution because they were planned and fomented by the globalist elite, with the collaboration of the European Union, NATO, and the American deep state, with an anti-Russian tone intended to make inevitable a war whose goal is to impose, primarily in Europe, the forced adoption of energy rationing (here),[3] travel restrictions, the replacement of paper money with electronic money (here and here) and the adoption of digital ID (here and here). We are not talking about theoretical projects. These are decisions that are about to be taken concretely at the European level as well as in individual countries.

Respect for the Law and Standards

The intervention in Ukraine by NATO, the United States, and the European Union does not appear to have any legitimacy. Ukraine is not a member of NATO, and as such, it should not benefit from the assistance of an entity whose purpose is the defense of its member nations. The same can be said of the European Union, which just a few days ago invited Zelenskyy to join it. In the meantime, Ukraine has received $2.5 billion from the United States since 2014 and another $400 million in 2021 alone (here), plus other funds for a total of $4.6 billion dollars (here). For his part, Putin has given $15 billion in loans to Ukraine to save it from bankruptcy. The European Union, for its part, has sent $17 million in funding, in addition to funding sent from various individual nations. But this assistance has benefitted the Ukrainian population only minimally.

Furthermore, by intervening in the war in Ukraine in the name of the European Union, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen is violating articles 9, 11, and 12 of the Treaty of Lisbon. The competence of the European Union in this area belongs to the European Council and the High Representative. In no case does it belong to the Commission President. In what capacity does President von der Leyen presume to act as if she were the head of the European Union, usurping a role that does not belong to her? Why does no one intervene, especially considering the danger to which European citizens are being exposed due to the possibility of Russian retaliation?

Furthermore, in many cases, the constitutions of the nations that are today sending support and weapons to Ukraine do not provide for the possibility of entering into a conflict. For example, article 11 of the Italian Constitution states: “Italy repudiates war as an instrument of offense for the liberty of other peoples and as a means of resolving international controversies.” Sending weapons and soldiers to a nation that is not a part of either NATO or the European Union constitutes a de facto declaration of war on the nation belligerent with it (in this case, Russia), and should therefore require the prior deliberation of declaring war, as is foreseen by article 78 of the Italian Constitution: “The Chambers [of Parliament] deliberate on the state of war and confer the necessary powers on the government.” It does not appear that to date the Chambers have been called upon to express themselves in this sense, or that the President of the Republic has intervened to demand compliance with the constitutional provision. Prime Minister Draghi, appointed by the globalist cabal for the destruction of Italy and its definitive enslavement to supranational powers, is one of the many Heads of national governments who consider the will of the citizens as an annoying obstacle to the execution of the agenda of the World Economic Forum. After two years of systematic violations of fundamental rights and of the Constitution, it is difficult to believe that he will want to place the interests of the Italian nation ahead of the interests of those who have placed him in power. On the contrary: the more disastrous are the effects of the sanctions adopted by his government, the more he can consider himself appreciated by those who have given him power. The coup perpetrated by means of the psychopandemic emergency proceeds today with new unfortunate decisions, ratified by a Parliament without a spine.

It is also a violation of article 288 of the Italian Penal Code to permit Italian citizens – and even members of the majority in the Government and political leaders – to respond to the appeal of the Ukrainian Ambassador for enrollment in the foreign legion: “Anyone in the territory of [Italy] who without government approval enlists or arms citizens to serve [in the military] in favor of a foreign nation, is to be punished with imprisonment for a period of 4 to 15 years.” No magistrate, at least for the time being, has intervened to punish those responsible for this crime.

Another violation is found in the activity of transferring children from Ukraine to Italy (and presumably also to other nations) who have been obtained via surrogate motherhood, ordered by Italian couples in violation of Law 40/2004, without any penalty being imposed on those guilty of this crime, as well as their accomplices.

It should also be remembered that the utterances of members of the government or of political leaders with regard to the Russian Federation and its President, along with the sanctions that have been adopted against Russia and the repeated instances of arbitrary discrimination against Russian citizens, companies, artists, and sports teams for the sole fact of being Russian, are not only provocations that ought to be avoided in order to allow for a serene and peaceful settlement of the Ukraine crisis, but also place the safety of Italian citizens in very serious danger (as well as the safety of citizens of other nations who are adopting a similar stance toward Russia). The reason for such rash temerity is incomprehensible unless there is an intentional desire to trigger reactions from the opposing party.

The Russian-Ukrainian conflict is a very dangerous trap that has been set against Ukraine, Russia, and the nations of Europe.

Ukraine is the latest victim of accomplished executioners

The Russian-Ukrainian crisis did not suddenly erupt a month ago. It has been prepared and fomented for a long time, certainly beginning with the 2014 white coup that was desired by the American deep state in an anti-Russian key. This is demonstrated, among other incontestable facts, by the training of the Azov Battalion by the CIA “to kill Russians” (here), with the CIA forcing the revocation of the amendment banning aid to the battalion made by Congress in 2015. The interventions made by Joe and Hunter Biden have gone in the same direction. Thus there is evidence of long-term premeditation, consistent with NATO’s relentless expansion towards the East. The Color Revolution of Euromaidan, as well as the establishment of a pro-NATO government composed of homines novi trained by the World Economic Forum and George Soros, was intended to create the conditions for the subordination of Ukraine to the NATO bloc, removing it from the influence of the Russian Federation. To this end, the subversive action of the Hungarian philanthropist’s NGOs, supported by media propaganda, has kept silent about the crimes of neo-Nazi paramilitary organizations, financed by the same people who sponsor Zelenskyy.

But if the brainwashing carried out by the mainstream media in Western nations has succeeded in conveying a completely distorted narrative of reality, the same cannot be said for Ukraine, where the population is well aware of the corruption of the political class in power as well as of its remoteness from the real problems of the Ukrainian nation. We in the West believe that the “oligarchs” are only in Russia, while the reality is that they are present above all throughout the entire galaxy of nations that formerly composed the Soviet Union, where they can accumulate wealth and power simply by placing themselves at the disposition of foreign “philanthropists” and multinational corporations. It matters little if their offshore accounts are the primary cause of the poverty of the citizens of these nations, the backwardness of the health care system, the excessive power of the bureaucracy, the almost total absence of public services, foreign control of strategic companies, and the progressive loss of sovereignty and national identity: the important thing is to “make money” and be immortalized along with political personalities, bankers, arms dealers, and those who starve the people. And then to come to the fashionable resorts of Versilia or the Amalfi Coast to flaunt their yachts and platinum cards to the waiter from Odessa or the cleaning lady from Kyiv who send their paltry wages to their relatives back home. These Ukrainian billionaires wearing kippahs are those who are selling out Ukraine to the corrupted and corrupting West, trading their own well-being for the enslavement of their compatriots to the usurers who are taking over the world, using the same ruthless and immoral systems everywhere. In the past they cut the salaries of workers in Athens and Thessaloniki; today they have simply enlarged their horizons to the whole of Europe, where the population still looks on incredulously while first a health dictatorship and then an environmental dictatorship is being imposed.

On the other hand, without the pretext of war, how would they have been able to justify the soaring price of gas and fuels, forcing the process of an “ecological” transition imposed from on high in order to control the impoverished masses? How could they have made the peoples of the Western world swallow the establishment of the tyranny of the New World Order when the pandemic farce was unraveling and bringing to light crimes against humanity committed by BigPharma?

And while the EU and heads of government blame Russia for the impending disaster, the Western elites demonstrate that they even want to destroy agriculture, in order to apply the horrors of the Holodomor on a global scale (here). On the other hand, in many nations (including Italy) the privatization of waterways is being theorized – and water is an inalienable public good – for the advantage of multinationals and with the aim of controlling and limiting agriculture activities. The pro-NATO government of Kyiv did not behave much differently: for eight years Crimea was deprived of water from the Dnieper River in order to prevent the irrigation of the fields and starve the people. Today, in light of the sanctions being imposed on Russia and the huge reduction of grain supplies, we can understand Bill Gates’ enormous investments in agriculture (here), following the same ruthless profit-making logic already experienced with the vaccine campaign.

The Ukrainian people, regardless of what ethnic group they may belong to, are merely the latest unwitting hostages of the supranational totalitarian regime that brought the national economies of the entire world to their knees through the COVID deception, after publicly theorizing about the need to decimate the world population and transform the survivors into chronically ill patients who have irreparably compromised their immune systems.

The Ukrainian people should think hard about calling upon the intervention of NATO or the EU, provided that it is really the Ukrainian people who do it and not rather their corrupt rulers aided by racist mercenaries and neo-Nazi groups in the pay of hierarchs. Because while they are promised freedom from the invader – with whom they share the common religious and cultural heritage of having once been part of Great Russia – in reality, what is cynically being prepared is their definitive cancellation, their enslavement to the Great Reset that foresees everything except the protection of their identity, their sovereignty, and their borders.

Let the Ukrainian people look at what has happened to the nations of the European Union: the mirage of prosperity and security is demolished by the contemplation of the rubble left by the Euro and the lobbies of Brussels. Nations invaded by illegal immigrants who feed crime and prostitution; destroyed in their social fabric by politically correct ideologies; knowingly brought to bankruptcy by reckless economic and fiscal policies; led towards poverty by the cancellation of labor and social security protections; deprived of a future by the destruction of the family and the moral and intellectual corruption of the new generations.

What were once prosperous and independent nations, diverse in their respective ethnic, linguistic, cultural, and religious specificities, have now been transformed into a shapeless mass of people without ideals, without hopes, without faith, without even the strength to react against the abuses and crimes of those who govern them. A mass of corporate customers, slaves of the system of detailed control imposed by the pandemic farce, even in the face of evidence of the fraud. A mass of persons without individual identity, marked with QR codes like animals on an intensive farm, like products of a huge shopping center. If this has been the result of the renunciation of national sovereignty for all the nations – every single one, without exception! – that have entrusted themselves to the colossal scam of the European Union, why would Ukraine be any different?

Is this what your fathers wanted, what they hoped for, what they desired, when they received Baptism along with Vladimir the Great on the banks of the Dnieper?

If there is a positive aspect that each of us can recognize in this crisis, it is that it has revealed the horror of the globalist tyranny, its ruthless cynicism, its capacity to destroy and annihilate everything it touches. It is not the Ukrainians who ought to enter the European Union or NATO, it is rather the other nations who ought to finally be jolted by pride and courage to leave them, shaking off this detestable yoke and rediscovering their own independence, sovereignty, identity, and faith. Their own souls.

To be clear: the New Order is not an inescapable destiny, and it can be subverted and denounced, if only the peoples of the world realize that they have been deceived and swindled by an oligarchy of clearly identifiable criminals, who one day will have to answer for those sanctions and those blocks of funds that today they apply with impunity to anyone who does not bend the knee before them.

An appeal to the Third Rome

For Russia too, this conflict is a trap. This is because it would fulfill the dream of the American deep state to definitively oust Russia from the European context in its commercial and cultural relations, pushing it into the arms of China, perhaps with the hope that the dictatorship in Beijing can persuade the Russians to accept the system of social credit and other aspects of the Great Reset that thus far Russia has been able to avoid, at least in part.

It is a trap, not because Russia is wrong in wanting to “denazify” Ukraine of its extremist groups and guarantee protection to Russian-speaking Ukrainians, but because it is precisely these reasons – theoretically tenable – that were created specifically to provoke it and induce it to invade Ukraine, in such a way as to provoke the NATO reaction that has been prepared for some time by the deep state and the globalist elite. The casus belli was deliberately planned by the real perpetrators of the conflict, knowing that it would obtain exactly that response from Putin. And it is up to Putin, regardless of whether he is right, not to fall into the trap, and to instead turn the tables, offering Ukraine the conditions of an honorable peace without continuing the conflict. Indeed, the more Putin believes he is right, the more he needs to demonstrate the greatness of his nation and his love for his people by not giving in to provocations.

Permit me to repeat the words of the Prophet Isaiah: Dissolve colligationes impietatis, solve fasciculos deprimentes, dimitte eos qui confracti sunt liberos, et omne onus dirumpe; frange esurienti panem tuum, et egenos vagosque induc in domum tuam; cum videris nudum, operi eum, et carnem tuam ne despexeris. Tunc erumpet quasi mane lumen tuum; et sanitas tua citius orietur, et anteibit faciem tuam justitia tua, et gloria Domini colliget te.

Loose the bands of wickedness, undo the bundles that oppress, let those who are broken go free, and break asunder every burden. Share your bread with the hungry, welcome into your house the afflicted and homeless; when you see a naked man, clothe him, and do not turn your back on your own flesh. Then your light will arise like the dawn, and your wound will quickly be healed. Your justice shall go before you, the glory of the Lord will closely follow you. (Is 58:6-8).

The world crisis with which the dissolution of traditional society is being prepared has also involved the Catholic Church, whose hierarchy is held hostage by apostates who are courtiers of power.[4] There was a time in which popes and prelates confronted kings without concern for human respect because they knew they spoke with the voice of Jesus Christ, the King of kings. The Rome of the Caesars and popes is now deserted and silent, just as for centuries, the Second Rome of Constantinople has also been silent. Perhaps Providence has ordained that Moscow, the Third Rome, will today in the sight of the world take on the role of κατέχον (2 Thess 2:6-7), of an eschatological obstacle to the Antichrist. If the errors of Communism were spread by the Soviet Union, even to the point of imposing themselves within the Church, Russia and Ukraine can today have an epochal role in the restoration of Christian civilization, contributing to bringing the world a period of peace from which the Church too will rise again purified and renewed in her ministers.

The United States of America and the European nations should not marginalize Russia, but rather form an alliance with her, not only for the restoration of trade for the prosperity of all, but in view of the reconstruction of a Christian civilization, which alone can save the world from the globalist techno-health transhuman monster.

Final Considerations

There is great concern that the destinies of the peoples of the world is in the hands of an elite that is not accountable to anyone for its decisions, that does not recognize any authority above itself, and that in order to pursue its own interests does not hesitate to jeopardize security, the economy, and the very lives of billions of people, with the complicity of politicians in their service and the mainstream media. The falsification of facts, the grotesque adulterations of reality, and the partisanship with which the news is spread stand alongside the censorship of dissenting voices and leads to forms of ethnic persecution against Russian citizens, who are discriminated against precisely in the countries that say they are democratic and respectful of fundamental rights.

I earnestly hope that my appeal for the establishment of an Anti-Globalist Alliance that unites the peoples of the world in opposition against the tyranny of the New World Order will be accepted by those who have at heart the common good, peace between nations, concord among all peoples, freedom for all citizens and the future of the new generations. And even before that, may my words – along with those of many intellectually honest people – contribute to bringing to light the complicity and corruption of those who use lies and fraud to justify their crimes, even in these moments of great apprehension about the war in Ukraine.

May the strong listen to us, so as not to become weak in injustice. May the powerful listen to us, if they want their power not to be destruction but support for the peoples and protection for tranquility in order and work (Pius XII, Radio message to Heads of State and Peoples of the World in Imminent Danger of War, August 24, 1939).

May Holy Lent lead all Christians to ask pardon from the Divine Majesty for the sins of those who trample His Holy Law. May penance and fasting move the Lord God to mercy, while we repeat the words of the Prophet Joel: Parce, Domine: parce populo tuo; et ne des hæreditatem tuam in opprobrium, ut dominentur eis nationes. Forgive your people, Lord, and do not expose your inheritance to reproach, to the derision of the nations (Jl 2:17).

Biden’s ‘science advisor’ trashes Christians, dismisses individual rights, says government can force vaccine

Francis Collins and Russell Moore: Evil Revealed In Leaked Audio

America’s future as a free society is in serious peril because there are so many authoritarians in positions of power and influence who have contempt for the American people and their values.

“LEAKED: Audio Shows Former NIH Director Trashing Christians at Event Hosted by Christianity Today,” RedState, March 8, 2022:

Dr. Francis Collins, former NIH Director and current “science advisor” to Joe Biden, has long proclaimed himself and Dr. Anthony Fauci as “not political figures.” But newly leaked audio, obtained by The Daily Wire’s Meg Basham, tells a far different story.

The audio was taken on October 26th, 2021 at an event hosted by Christianity Today in conjunction with the Institute of Politics (a leftwing organization founded by David Axelrod). Russell Moore, a favorite among socially left-leaning “evangelicals” like David French and Beth Moore, conducted the interview portion that included Collins.

What followed was the mocking of Christians, the dismissal of individual rights, and false assertions about the legalities involved with vaccine mandates. But rest assured, none of this was political per Collins’ self-description.

“The US government does have the authority to mandate vaccinations if there is an outbreak that is threatening people, because it’s not just about you, it’s about the people you’re going to infect,” Collins claimed, even though science journals were already reporting by that point that vaccinated people were just as likely to spread the then-dominant Delta variant as those who were unvaccinated.

Collins went on to ask rhetorically, “Do [mandates] convince people who otherwise wouldn’t get them?” He answered himself, “Oh yeah, especially if it means losing your job.”

Perhaps Collins should opine less on legal issues because that turned out to be objectively false. As most are aware, the Supreme Court ended up striking down the Biden administration’s federal vaccine mandate. Collins tried to cite Jacobson vs. Massachusetts, a 1905 case that involved state-level mandates, in the interview, again showing his lack of knowledge of the topic. The lack of empathy shown to those losing their jobs over a mandate that was scientifically pointless (everyone spreads COVID) is also striking.

Later, Collins would go on to outright mock Christians who value personal freedom from the government.

Collins said evangelicals, in particular, over-emphasize notions of personal liberty when it comes to mandates, saying they have so “wrapped themselves in the flag and wrapped themselves in this concept of personal freedom, that public health just grates on them.”

“[Evangelicals] have forgotten many times that freedom is not just about rights,” Collins contended. He then employed a mocking caricature of a Southern accent, asking the students, “How many times have you heard, ‘Muh freedom means I got rights’? Well, okay, you also have that other R-word: responsibilities. That’s what freedom is supposed to incorporate.”

I’m not sure what planet this man lives on, but freedom is actually about rights. There can be no freedom without rights, and anything that violates those rights is logically not freedom. The nod to “responsibilities” is a weak, commonly used excuse by government apparatchiks to force their agenda on others. Even tackling Collins’ claim on the merits, what responsibility to others does someone have to get vaccinated if the vaccine does not stop the spread of COVID?…

Arguably the most politically pointed portion of Collins’ remarks came when Moore asked him about the political opinions of his fellow Christians. Collins answered by referencing an Atlantic article by anti-Trump pundit Peter Wehner, another member of his and Moore’s book club, that argued evangelicals have “embraced the worst aspects of our culture and our politics” and that “churches [have] become repositories not of grace but of grievances, places where tribal identities are reinforced, where fears are nurtured, and where aggression and nastiness are sacralized.”

Second-grader Chastised for Preaching the Gospel to her Classmates

BY BOB ADELMANN

SEE: https://thenewamerican.com/second-grader-chastised-for-preaching-the-gospel-to-her-classmates/;

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

A second-grade student attending North Hill Elementary School in Des Moines, Washington, has been sent to the principal’s office 10 times since the first of the year for witnessing to her classmates on the school’s playground.

When the parents contacted the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), the public-interest law firm sent a letter to the principal reminding him of the student’s First Amendment-protected rights and suggesting that unless the harassment stopped they would be filing suit.

The principal responded by telling ACLJ that the student was scaring her classmates with talks of Satan and hell. She offered religious tracts which some of her classmates took home with them, resulting, as the public relations officer for the school district told CBN News, in “Multiple parents complain[ing] about their children coming home with religious pamphlets.”

The PR officer filled in the blanks: During playtime, the student would stand on a playground table and preach the Gospel. School officials told her she couldn’t “tell other children they’re going to hell and that [she] must stop distributing what the school considers to be unacceptable religious materials.”

The principal said she would be allowed to distribute religious materials but only if the staff decides they’re appropriate.

The ACLJ was astonished after learning from the parents that their daughter was being stopped at the schoolhouse door and having her backpack searched for those “unacceptable religious materials”:

We were astonished when we were first contacted by a second-grade student’s parents who said their little girl had been sent to the principal’s office at North Hill Elementary School no less than 10 times since January 1st for witnessing to classmates on the playground.

But it only gets worse. Not only were they scolding her for talking about Jesus to her classmates outside of instruction time, but they were stopping her at the entrance to the school every morning to inspect her backpack and remove any Christian tracts!

Her mother witnessed this exchange one morning when dropping her daughter off and immediately confronted the principal. The principal told her that her child is not allowed to pass out tracts or crosses to students because it is upsetting parents, and the school wanted her to confirm that there were no tracts in her daughter’s backpack every morning before dropping her off from now on.

Christian tracts were being treated as contraband, as if speaking about Jesus were an illicit drug.

The ACLJ is prepared to defend the student if the school doesn’t back down, declaring that Supreme Court precedent supports her right to share the Gospel with her classmates:

It is well-settled Supreme Court precedent that students do not “shed their constitutional rights to freedom of speech or expression at the schoolhouse gate.” Tinker v. Des Moines Independent Community School District (1969). [Under that ruling] students are free to express their religious views while at school, which includes sharing Bibles, Christian tracts, and crosses.

Since 1969, Tinker has often been cited in cases such as this one. Although the court at the time of the ruling was considered one of the most liberal in judicial history, the majority opinion, penned by Justice Abe Fortas, is comforting:

First Amendment rights … are available to teachers and students. It can hardly be argued that either students or teachers shed their constitutional rights to freedom of speech or expression at the schoolhouse gate.

This has been the unmistakable holding of this Court for almost 50 years.

In this constitutional republic, wrote Fortas, freedoms come with certain inevitable risks. The alternative is tyranny where no expression outside of what the state declares is allowed:

In our system, undifferentiated fear or apprehension of disturbance is not enough to overcome the right to freedom of expression.

Any departure from absolute regimentation may cause trouble.

Any variation from the majority’s opinion may inspire fear.

Any word spoken, in class, in the lunchroom, or on the campus, that deviates from the views of another person may start an argument or cause a disturbance.

But our Constitution says we must take this risk … and our history says that it is this sort of hazardous freedom — this kind of openness — that is the basis of our national strength and of the independence and vigor of Americans who grow up and live in this relatively permissive, often disputatious, society.

If the Highline School District, where North Hill Elementary School is located, decides to accept ACLJ’s challenge, it will have to show that the student’s behavior “materially and substantially interfere[s] with the requirements of appropriate discipline in the operation of the school,” according to the Tinker ruling.

ACLJ has given the school district until March 14 to respond. The New American will report on any developments in the case.

Kentucky Sex Camp Taught Kids About “Illicit” Drugs and Kinky Sex

Brace yourselves for what promises to be a frightening report from the Manhattan Institute’s Chris Rufo, who has done a valuable service uncovering corporate America’s use of Critical Race Theory to brainwash white employees into hating themselves.

Rufo will soon file a lengthy report on a “Sexy Summer Camp” in Hazard, Kentucky, led by a self-confessed “fat, queer magical pleasure worker,” where children learned to masturbate, about bondage and discipline, and how to use illegal drugs during sex.

Rufo offered a preview of his report on the doings on Twitter. From what he has disclosed so far, it appears the camp is a grooming operation to sexualize confused children and bring them “out of the closet.”

Free Condoms, no Questions

“Sexy Sex Ed is a workshop series that compels teenagers and people of all ages to openly discuss personal and political consent, sexual safety, and anatomy,” the outfit’s website says.

Why anyone would need to be compelled, the website doesn’t say, but it did promise to mail free condoms, “no questions asked,” as part of its China Virus response. The camp was virtual because of the virus.

The camp ran on Tuesdays and Thursdays from July 6 through August 24 last year, and opened with a masturbation “workshop” titled “Sex With Me — Self Pleasure.”

The group advertised it this way:

Participants will explore personal views on self pleasure, as well as learn techniques to make the most out of their masturbation experience. This workshop will include discussion, games, and some hand on practice (on hands!).

A workshop on sex and drugs promised to train participants in “the nuances of engaging in sexual activity while using licit and illicit drugs”:

Together, we will explore why people engage in sexual activity while on drugs; the nuances of substance use and consent; and harm reduction strategies around having sex on substances.

Another workshop was “The Three P’s: Pee, Poop, and Pleasure.”

“Sexy Trans Sex Ed” focused on “language, affirmation, as well as creating spaces for gender exploration and euphoria through sex,” the schedule says:

Topics will include pre sex discussion, language, body diversity, masturbation, sti’s, gender exploration and affirmation, BDSM, and more!

Of course, the workshops also included a lesson on “self-managed abortion.”

Founder Is a Witch

The founder of Sexy Sex Ed, Tanya Turner, isn’t someone you want near your kids. “Tany is a femme, fat, queer, magical pleasure worker, educator, & artist,” her bio says:

She was raised in rural Kentucky by a host of witchy women alongside sisters and cousins. A coven-like mountain matriarchy, if you will, on Stony Fork. Her craft tools are candles, crystals, oils, plants, music, sex toys, tarot, the Moon, and instincts of a triple water sign (Cancer Sun — Scorpio Moon & Rising.…

Tanya lives high on a Kentucky mountain top with lots of plants, a steamy hot tub, and several furry familiars.

Rufo helpfully included a video of Turner in which she explains the merits of masturbation.

“Masturbation is really healthy and I recommend it to people of all ages,” Turner says. “All ages. As soon as my nephews could talk, they were doing that”:

We have to learn ways to talk to young people about this so they that they know how to explore their body.

Another of the camp leaders was Larah Helayne, a “nonbinary queer” who wears a shirt touting the Mattachine Society, a defunct group of homosexual communists. Communist homosexual and pedophile Harry Hay, a strong supporter of the National Man-Boy Love Association, founded Mattachine.

The shirt also pays homage to boy rapist Harvey Milk, the San Francisco councilman shot to death in 1978.

Shortly after Rufo’s tweets, the workshop leaders scrubbed their bios from the Sexy Sex Ed website.

The question is whether any of Sexy Sex Ed’s leaders committed a crime under Kentucky law. “Unlawful transaction with a minor in the first degree,” the law says, is a felony:

A person is guilty of unlawful transaction with a minor in the first degree when he or she knowingly induces, assists, or causes a minor to engage in:

(a) Illegal sexual activity; or

(b) Illegal controlled substances activity other than activity involving marijuana or salvia.

The gravity of the felony depends on the child’s age.

Stunning MassResistance interview with Canadian Pastor Artur Pawlowski~internationally known pastor beaten and imprisoned by Canadian authorities

U.S. Senator and others express outrage against his treatment

A long-time friend of MassResistance

VIDEO: MassResistance interviews Pastor Artur Pawlowski

This is one of the most insightful political interviews you will hear. During a visit to the U.S. last summer, Pastor Artur Pawlowski (left) described to Arthur Schaper of MassResistance what is happening in Canada – and to him. Since that interview, events have taken an even more sinister turn. He is now in prison in solitary confinement in Canada.

Pastor Artur Pawlowski is not your run-of-the-mill Canadian. He was born and raised in communist Poland and immigrated to Canada as a young man. For many years he has been the pastor of a church in Calgary, Alberta. He is known as an uncompromising Christian who feeds the poor and defends the God-given rights of the Canadian people. He has attracted the ire of the Canadian authorities for his ongoing exposé of totalitarianism as poison to the soul.

Pastor Artur first met up with MassResistance in 2018. In June that year, MassResistance was on the scene to document Pastor Artur joined local activists and MassResistance fiery speech outside of the Calgary Police Station where local activists had come to support pro-family activist Bill Whatcott (who was being taken into custody on the Orwellian charge of “anti-LGBT hate speech”). Later that year Pastor Artur hosted our Canada MassResistance chapter at a conference in his church. Since then, he worked with us to stop a ban on “reparative therapy” in Calgary and similar issues across Canada.

Pastor Art (left) with Bill Whatcott and MassResistance researcher Amy Contrada, on the day Bill turned himself in at the Calgary police station.

Pastor Art gained international notoriety in 2021 when a video of him throwing a group of police out of his church went viral. They had come to halt a Passover service over clearly unconstitutional Covid rules. He also continued to feed the poor and homeless in violation of the Covid mandate. He was later arrested, imprisoned, and fined for keeping his church open and continuing to feed and minister to the poor through his street church. When released, the judge ordered Pastor Artur to include the government’s Covid narrative in his future church sermons! That totalitarian order was later thrown out after widespread outrage.

The latest international outrage

Pastor Art’s persecution by the government has continued. The latest outrage came in early February. He delivered a forceful speech and held a church service for the truckers who were protesting vaccine mandates and Covid restrictions with a blockade at the Coutts, Alberta border. In his speech, he told the truckers to “hold the line” and continue peacefully protesting.

ALT TEXT

The following day, police raided his home and arrested him. He was charged with “interfering with critical infrastructure” and “aiding and abetting mischief” under the Critical Infrastructure Defence Act.

According to reports, he’s the only person ever arrested under that act! Rebel News noted on Feb. 28:

[T]hree additional charges stemming from incidents over the previous two years were piled onto the existing, and now nearly innumerable, charges that Artur is facing in what is quite possibly the most glaring legal witch hunt in Canadian History… Sadly, the courts are being wielded as political weapons instead of doing their jobs, which is to uphold the laws of the land, first and foremost being the Criminal Code of Canada and the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

Here in the US, American Spectator observed:

Like a verdict from a Soviet show trial, the judge asserted out of thin air that Pawlowski’s blameless exercise of free speech “contributed to enormous economic harm to the local, provincial and national economy and substantial community harm to ordinary Canadians.”

Pastor Artur has been denied bail and held in solitary confinement since then at the Calgary Remand Centre, a holding prison for dangerous and violent criminals. (Largely ignored by Canada’s mainstream media, this incident was reported Canada’s alternative Rebel News.) And making matters worse, on March 2 his brother Dawid Pawlowski was arrested for charges that are yet unclear!

U.S. Senator makes statement

This has shocked and outraged many people in the United States who fear that the Canadian government’s extremist approach to dissenters and Christians could come here. On Feb. 27, U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) was asked for his reaction to Pastor Pawlowski’s arrest. He said,

The United States keeps a designation of nations that are religious liberty violators. I've called for Canada to be put on that list. And I think we should consider all of the options that are available for that.

Pastor Artur interviewed by MassResistance

Last June, Pastor Artur visited the U.S. for several weeks to warn Americans of the danger of creeping totalitarianism. He met with General Michael Flynn, Senator Josh Hawley, former Trump advisors, and various DC political leaders. He spoke at many churches and political gatherings. On June 26 when in Los Angeles, he sat down with Arthur Schaper of MassResistance.

It was a fascinating interview. (See video at top.) Pastor Artur talks about what has happened to him personally, what is happening to Canada, how things are changing for the worse, and why the world needs to pay attention.

He reminds us: The truth is like a pillar; it can stand on its own. But the lie needs to be supported by more lies, misinformation, disinformation, and tyranny – tyranny and fear –because it cannot stand on its own.

A few of Artur’s points in the interview:

  • The leftists attacking us constantly have no substance; they don’t have any reasoning. So the only thing they can do is hate. Those people who talk about tolerance are the most intolerant people on earth.
  • We are not dealing with officials who respect law and order. We are dealing with gangsters in uniform – like the Nazis and the Communists – who do whatever they want. The tactics they are using now are virtually identical to the tactics used back then [under the Nazis and Soviets].
  • Why are Canadian people so “sheep-like”? The Canadian government has been implementing this repression for a very long time. They have been attacking the minds of the people for decades. The tactics are just like with the Hitler Youth: brainwashing; taking over universities and schools; taking over mainstream media; and the political arena. What they accomplished is to create an apathetic, uninterested, selfish, self-centered generation of people that don’t really know what’s going on. It’s easier to do this in Canada because we have a smaller population with many different ethnicities, and are more naturally divided.
  • When my brother and I were recently imprisoned, the Calgary police were particularly brutal to us. We were put in solitary confinement. We had to sleep on a concrete floor. Every half hour they would wake us up so we couldn’t get sleep. We were often stripped naked and searched. They would mock Christianity. They would steal my belongings and throw them into the garbage in front of me. They threw me against the wall and said they would charge me with assaulting them. When we finally went to court they put chains on our legs.

Pastor Artur Pawlowski is an inspiration to all of us. If more clergymen were as principled, bold, and fearless as he, this would be a much better world.

NEW REFORMATION: Over 100 Catholic Priests “Come Out” As Homosexual, Demand Everyone Bow Down To Gay Agenda

German Campaign Seeks to Change Church Teachings on Gender & Sexuality

Catholic bishops in Germany are supporting a new initiative that calls for a change in the Church's teachings about gender and sexuality. The #OutInChurch — "For a church without fear" campaign launched yesterday and gave a list of 7 demands, including that "defamatory and outdated statements of Church doctrine on sexuality and gender need to be revised." A group of 125 Catholic employees in Germany say they are a part of the so-called LGBT community. Editor in Chief of CNA Deutsch, AC Wimmer, joins to tell us more about this. Bishops around Germany have voiced their support for the #OutInChurch campaign. Wimmer shares why the bishops are supporting a campaign that challenges Catholic teachings. He explains how the synodal way has played into this campaign. On another note, Germany is working to amend its law to allow doctors to advertise they perform abortions and give more detailed information on abortions. Wimmer fills us in on why we are seeing this change now. The Editor in chief of CNA Deutsch talks about whether he thinks we will see more progressive policies out of Germany under its new leadership.

THE NEW AMERICAN: What’s Behind the Involvement of the Catholic Church In Political Issues?

In Germany and the United States, parishes and ministers also began blessing same-sex unions in lieu of marriage, with growing calls for bishops to institutionalize gay marriage.

However, in response to formal questions from a number of dioceses on whether the practice was allowed, the Vatican’s doctrinal office, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF) made clear it wasn’t, ruling: “negative.”

In Germany, gay Roman Catholic priests are coming out, literally, and demanding that it is time for the world to see the ‘true diversity’ of the Roman Catholic church, and to demonstrate that the Body of Christ is ‘wonderfully queer’.

More than 120 LGBT priests, teachers, and Church volunteers in Germany have launched an initiative – OutInChurch – and demanded that Catholic higher-ups toss away their long-standing disdain for homosexual relationships and grant them greater freedoms within the Church.

The members of the church community published seven demands on social media under the “OutInChurch” initiative. These demands range from queer people saying they should be able to live without fear and have access to all kinds of activities and occupations in the church without discrimination.

They said their sexual orientation must never be considered a breach of loyalty or reason for dismissal from their occupation. They ask the church to revise its statements on sexuality based on “theological and human-scientific findings.”

Besides asking for equal rights, employees also put down demands that the church takes accountability for their discrimination against people of the community throughout history, calling on the bishop to take responsibility on behalf of the church.

The Roman Catholic Church under Pope Francis has softened its stance on the issue of sexuality. Francis has made headlines by reaching out to priests and nuns who ministered to the LGBTQ community, declaring in 2020 that “homosexual people have a right to be in a family.”

Last year, at least two bishops in Germany, including Cardinal Reinhard Marx of Munich, one of the pope’s top advisers, showed some support for a kind of “pastoral” blessing for same-sex unions.

EX-CATHOLIC MIKE GENDRON: PROCLAIMING THE GOSPEL

Questions With Everlasting Consequences
BY MIKE GENDRON
SEE: http://www.proclaimingthegospel.org;republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

Our great God and Savior spent His entire earthly ministry proclaiming the Gospel of salvation. In His mission to seek and to save the lost, our Lord asked 339 questions that are recorded in the Gospels. Christ's example of asking questions is a method we would all do well to follow in our evangelism (1 Pet. 2:21). Questions are an effective way to engage people in conversation and to challenge them to think about compelling issues that have eternal consequences.
Questions Jesus Asked of Religious People
He challenged Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews, about his knowledge of the Kingdom of God, "Are you the teacher of Israel and do not understand these things?" (John 3:10). He asked the stubborn-hearted Pharisees, who were blinded by religious tradition, "If I speak the truth, why do you not believe me?" (John 8:46). Then He exposed how corrupt their religion had become with this pointed question: "Why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition?" (Mat. 15:3). Possibly the most important question Jesus ever asked was, "Who do you say that I am?" (Mat. 16:15). Clearly, the response carries eternal consequences because Jesus warned, "If you do not believe that I Am [He], you will indeed die in your sins" (John 8:24).
Questions Jesus Asked About Faith and Truth
Jesus challenged people about their faith. "Do you believe in the Son of Man?" (John 9:35). "When the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?" (Luke 18:8). "Where is your faith?" (Luke 8:25)."Do you not yet see or understand? Do you have a hardened heart?" (Mark 8:17). "Is this not the reason you are mistaken, that you do not understand the Scriptures or the power of God?" (Mark 12:24). "Everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:26). "What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul?" (Mat. 16:26).
Questions We Can Ask About Truth
As we seek to follow the example of our Savior, here are some questions we can use to challenge people as we evangelize. What is your most trustworthy source for truth? People will give many different answers, but there is only one source for truth that will never mislead or deceive them. It is the inspired, inerrant, infallible Word of God! It must become our supreme authority for discerning truth from error. Jesus Christ, who is the personification of truth, declared His Word is truth and He came to testify to the truth (John 14:6, 17:17, 18:37). He said, "If you abide in My Word...you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:31-32). Free from what? Free from the bondage of religious deception and free from the snare of the devil who holds people captive to do his will (2 Tim. 2:25-26). We must encourage people to test the uninspired words of men against the inspired Word of God. It is my prayer that those who are lost in religion will believe only what God says and not what man says God says.
Questions We Can Ask About Salvation
Ask people if they know that there is only one way God saves sinners and that all other way leads to destruction (Matt. 7:13-14). We must tell people that salvation is offered only to confessed sinners who repent and trust the Lord Jesus Christ, His perfect life, His atoning death and burial, and His glorious resurrection (1 Cor. 15:1-4). He is the only way to the Father and the only mediator between God and man (John 14:6, 1 Tim. 2:5). Salvation is offered only by God's grace apart from works (Eph. 2:8-9). Any attempt to add human merit to Christ's all-sufficient, finished work of redemption is an insult to the Savior.
Questions We Can Ask About Eternity
Ask people "Where will you spend eternity?" Most people will respond "I hope it's heaven." We can share with them from God's Word that we can know for sure. The apostle John wrote, "These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life" (1 John 5:13). This is an excellent verse to create interest in God's Word and the glorious Gospel of grace!
Questions We Can Ask About Jesus
Why did Jesus have to die? This question gets to the core of the Gospel. Since the punishment for sin is death, the sinless Savior had to die as a substitute for sinners to satisfy divine justice for all who repent and believe the Gospel (Isaiah 53; 2 Cor. 5:21). Those who reject Christ as their substitute will suffer divine justice in the eternal fires of hell (Rev. 20:11-15). This leads to another question about Jesus: Are you ready to meet your Creator? Everyone will meet Jesus when they take their last breath. He will either be their sin-avenging judge or their merciful Savior.
Questions We Can Ask Catholics
Why does your priest continue the work of redemption on an altar when Jesus finished it on the cross? (John 19:30). Why do you believe in purgatory when the blood of Jesus purifies believers from all sin? (1 John1:7). Why do you invalidate the word of God by your tradition? (Mark 7:13).
Here are some more good questions to ask. What is the most important decision you face in this life? What is the greatest gift you’ve ever received? If you could ask God one question, what would it be and why? Are you a Christian? What does your church teach about salvation? Remember, asking questions shows people you care for them and you are interested in their responses. Most people don't care what you know until they know that you care. May God help us to care enough for lost souls that we will share the greatest news they will ever hear!

Discernment Needed for The Chosen
The ecumenical unity among all who name the name of Christ is seducing many because of the death of discernment in many churches today. The growing controversy over the video series The Chosen is a prime example. It was released in 2019 after the show’s creator, Dallas Jenkins, put together a panel of consultants including a Messianic Jewish rabbi, a Catholic priest, and an Evangelical professor. Members of the Mormon Church have also been involved in its production and its distribution through VidAngel, which was founded by two Mormons. Dallas Jenkins has embraced Mormons as his brothers and sisters in Christ and has deceived many by saying Mormons and Christians worship the same Jesus. A video has been produced that warns people of the ecumenical nature of The Chosen. You can watch it here.

Freedom of Religion on Trial in Finland~Will Finland bow down to the gods of fashion?

BY WILLIAM KILPATRICK

SEE: https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/2022/02/freedom-religion-trial-finland-william-kilpatrick/;

William Kilpatrick is a Shillman Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center.  His books include Christianity, Islam, and Atheism: The Struggle for the Soul of the West (Ignatius Press), What Catholics Need to Know About Islam (Sophia Press), and The Politically Incorrect Guide to Jihad.

Päivi Räsänen is a member of the Finnish Parliament, a former minister of the interior, a public speaker, and the mother of five grown children.

She faces a heavy fine and two years in prison for quoting the Bible.  In response to the Evangelical Lutheran Church’s affiliation with the Helsinki LGBT Pride event, she posted the Bible passage from Romans 1: 24-27 which condemns homosexual behavior.

Finnish prosecutors stated that the use of the word “sin” could be harmful, and alleged that Ms. Räsänen’s comments were made to cause intolerance, contempt, and hatred toward homosexuals.

But couldn’t the prosecutor’s remarks cause intolerance, contempt, and hatred toward Ms. Räsänen?  If criticizing another person’s beliefs or behavior is a hate crime, then isn’t she the victim of a hate crime?

The court prosecutors worried that the word “sin” could be harmful.  One supposes they mean harmful to one’s self-esteem.  And, indeed, the list of sins in Romans 1: 24-32 is meant to make you feel bad about yourself.  From a Biblical perspective, acknowledgment of sin, followed by repentance, leads to salvation.  In other words, feeling bad about your behavior is, in some cases, a good thing.  It’s not only homosexual behavior that is condemned in Romans I.  The extended passage condemns all manner of sins including idolatry, deceitfulness, envy, gossip, slander, and disobedience to parents.

From one point of view, this is highly offensive and insulting to those disposed to deceitfulness and slander.  From another point of view, it can be looked upon as highly therapeutic—a moment of self-recognition that leads to change.

Prosecutors should have no difficulty understanding the concept.  After all, they apply painful therapeutics as a matter of course.  They hope that a heavy fine or a dose of prison will force the criminal to recognize his crimes and put himself on the road to rehabilitation.

Increasingly, however, prosecutors are prosecuting “thought crimes” rather than real crimes, and courts are using hurt feelings as a criterion for making decisions.  Take the case of Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff, an Austrian woman who was found guilty of “inciting hatred” by an Austrian Court because of her assertion that the prophet Muhammad was a pedophile.  In 2018, the ruling was upheld by the European Court of Human Rights which held that her right to freedom of expression was outweighed by “the right of others to have their religious feelings protected.” In short, feelings trumped facts, and the alleged pain caused to Muslims by the “slander” of their prophet became the deciding factor.

Interestingly, the case of Päivi Räsänen also involves “religious feelings”—her feeling or, rather, her conviction that Lutherans should be guided by the words of St. Paul rather than by the fashions of the day.

But although the feelings of Muslims still count for quite a bit in Europe, it seems likely that the Christian “feelings” of Ms. Räsänen will count for very little against the supposedly great pain homosexuals feel when they read the words of St. Paul in Romans.  The Finns will probably be hearing a great deal in the near future about the harm that Christianity causes to homosexuals, transgenders, and other favored sexual minorities.

So, just as Muslims must be protected from Islamophobia, homosexuals must be protected from homophobia.  Whether or not the free speech rights of Christians get trampled in the process doesn’t seem to matter much to European elites.

But if the rights of homosexuals clash with the rights of Muslims, what happens then?

Well, if you understand how the hierarchy of feelings is structured, you’ll quickly realize that—all things being equal—Muslim feelings will prevail.  For example, a Birmingham, England primary school stopped lessons normalizing same-sex relationships when hundreds of Muslim parents protested.

This is in contrast to the attitude of schools in the UK toward non-Muslim parents.  Such parents can expect to be ignored completely when they complain about sex-ed.  It’s not that the Muslim protests were threatening:  they weren’t.  It’s just that the Muslim population of Birmingham is thirty percent and rising.  And if you’re given the choice of offending the city’s gay population or its Muslim population, you’ll probably choose to do the former.

Meanwhile, in Helsinki, the top priority is criminalizing Saint Paul’s “offensive” letter to the Romans.  But if the Finns had looked over their border to the rest of the Continent, they might have noticed that homosexuals in Europe worry very little about St. Paul and very much about the growing number of Muslim gangs in cities and suburbs.

In Brussels according to Bianca Debaets, the former Belgian Secretary of State, “there are too many areas where it is difficult for women and homosexuals to walk.”  That may be because the Muslim percentage of the population of Brussels is now between 25-30 %.  Perhaps, you may think, homosexuals in Brussels should consider moving to close-by Amsterdam which has traditionally been a haven for gays.  But the Muslim population of Amsterdam has also been growing, and as Amsterdam becomes more like the real Mecca, it is no longer the Mecca for gays that it once was. As a result, many gays have moved out.

In short, while European elites claim to be fighting homophobia, they are doing little to resist the gradual takeover of Europe by the most homophobic culture on the planet.  A similar contradiction can be found in the attitude of European officials toward anti-Semitism. On the one hand, they tell us it’s a very bad thing. On the other hand, they welcome waves of immigrants from cultures that are steeped in anti-Semitism.

These schizoid policies suggest that European leaders are seriously confused. Indeed, many of the Western experts and authorities that we once relied on for guidance are now in the grip of deep delusions about obvious realities. I refer to politicians, teachers, health professionals, and media commentators who insist that men can become pregnant, that women can become men, and that a union between two men is no different than a marriage between a man and a woman.

It's ironic that some of these gullible types in Helsinki are now in a position to criminalize a passage in the Bible. It’s ironic because the chapter from Romans that most offends them not only criticizes idolatry and homosexuality, it also criticizes the foolish thinking of the time which passed for wisdom among the elites.

But what Paul said about the supposed wise men of his day applies even more fittingly to the supposed wise men of our own age. Here’s a sample:

So they are without excuse, for although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking and their senseless minds were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools…(Rom 1:20-22).

You can see why the authorities want to cancel Paul. The fashionable ideas they want people to bow down before are just as foolish as the once-fashionable idea of worshipping birds and reptiles. Yet, for opposing the present foolishness, Päivi Räsänen now faces prison time.

Nazarene Theological Seminary Welcomes Gay-Marriage Promoter

Grider-Winget Lectures in Theology with Dr. Willie Jennings | Nazarene Theological Seminary

Within the theological structure of the cults there is considerable truth, all of which, it might be added, is drawn from biblical sources, but so diluted with human error as to be more deadly than complete falsehood.”  ― Walter Martin, Kingdom of the Cults

“Gay marriage must be celebrated just as strongly, as loudly, and as intensely as any marriage of disciples, because what begins in civil toleration when touched by the Spirit of the living God becomes joyous and extravagant celebration”

Oh my, words like this should never be allowed to be promoted in any way to believers!  We should never support a man who teaches these abominations, should we!  No, of course not.  But that’s exactly what is happening in the Church of the Nazarene.

Nazarene Theological Seminary ought to be called a Cemetery now, not a seminary.  Dr. Willie James Jennings is the latest reason why the predominant school for preparing future Nazarene pastors is almost full-blown apostate!  I will give you the details a little further in this article, and each of you Nazarenes can decide whether you care or not and if you will say something to your esteemed General Superintendents, who are charged with the spiritual leadership of the church.

Apostasy is not new in the Nazarene denomination. It has been creeping in and spreading for years now, and it will probably continue. The rejection of the inerrancy and full authority of God’s word has been the foundation of this apostasy. When pastors no longer believe in God’s word, what else do we expect, except chaos, followed by the embrace of the worship of blackness and Critical Race Theory, the approval of LGBT and homosexuality, and the worship of “worship” itself rather than worshipping God?

I have little time as I used to have for the nonsense happening in my former denomination. I spent more than ten years warning everybody I could, along with a few other Nazarenes who were willing to risk everything, including their positions as pastors. These were the truly brave and faithful warriors, not me. But I’ve had enough now. I have my church to shepherd now, as well as my family, although I will occasionally post a new warning. The last one I wrote, in June of 2020, was about the racist ideas being proposed for the denomination in order to “teach” pastors to be “more sensitive” to blackness, and to own up to their “lack of enough understanding”.  (https://reformednazarene.wordpress.com/2020/06/13/the-church-of-the-nazarene-is-bowing-the-knee-to-racially-divisive-radicalism/

One of the abominations being allowed to continue unabated in the denomination is the disgraceful Andrew McGee, with his perversion of the Gospel and promotion of homosexuality, under the guise of his lying ministry called “Love Wins.”  If you don’t believe me, listen to this stupidity being allowed by the wise leaders of the denomination. He talks about being “Being Queer In Ministry”. Why this man is still allowed to pervert God’s word in a Holiness denomination is a total disgrace.  General Superintendents ought to be fired if that was at all possible.  But they should be held accountable in some way.

The Latest Abomination

Here is the latest abomination. Dr. Willie James Jennings will be speaking on February 26 at a conference sponsored by Nazarene Theological Seminary. The folks at We Are Nazarene are doing a great job carrying out the exposing of abomination in the denomination, and I agree with them when they say “It is long past time to defund the NTS.” I would encourage any Nazarene who cares, that they would join this FaceBook site and understand the many awful things being promoted and celebrated in the Church of the Nazarene.

We Are Nazarenes says” Dr. Willie James Jennings is currently Associate Professor of Systematic Theology and Africana Studies at Yale University Divinity School. He is also described as an expert in Liberation Theology. His lecture at Fuller Seminary a few years ago was entitled "Can White People Be Saved?" (spoiler alert: the answer is no) I think you would find it very revealing... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wRvaG9j53g&t=9s

But there is more evil coming from this man, who will be speaking to future Nazarene pastors.  Dr. Willie James Jennings is a full-blown supporter of same-sex marriage! And yet, NTS is promoting this seminar!  NTS is either utterly incompetent, or they are aware of his unbiblical theology. In either case, it is bad- and I believe they know full well what he promotes.

Here are just a few of his words, and there are a lot more I could give you, but this should be enough:

“Gay marriage must be celebrated just as strongly, as loudly, and as intensely as any marriage of disciples, because what begins in civil toleration when touched by the Spirit of the living God becomes joyous and extravagant celebration” (“Acts: A Theological Commentary on the Bible”).

And this: “Coupling in this regard is a wonder to be shared by all who wish it, whether heterosexual or homosexual, and marriage should be grasped by all who would mark their life together as a life inside the way of disciples.” ((“Acts: A Theological Commentary on the Bible”).

If you as a Nazarene don’t know this yet, well now you do.  What will you do or say about this?

What a disgrace this is, and a slap in the face to our Lord Jesus Christ.  For this kind of nonsense to be allowed for so many years- and it has not stopped - is a reflection on the uselessness of the Nazarene “leaders.”  I am particularly referring to the elitists at the top, the General Superintendents.  They have done very little and instead have shown their propensity to join the “woke” bandwagon and other leftist political views.  They have sacrificed holiness for political expediency and the approval of man.

At some point, every faithful and Bible-believing Nazarene Christian will come to a decision.  Stay, or leave?  After all, who are you most faithful to, a denomination, or the Lord Jesus Christ? Every pastor who leads his congregation must tell the members about this as well.  There is no excuse for keeping silent. To you pastors, remember Ezekiel 33:6, because it is still relevant today for every under-shepherd of the Great Shepherd:

But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.”

Canada: Bill C-4 Banning LGBTQ Conversion Therapy Comes into Force

Abide Project Roundtable: Bill C-4: Blowing Up the Canadian Church

In January, Bill C-4 went into effect across Canada. This is often described as the ban on “conversation therapy,” but it has implications far beyond human sexuality. The panel will discuss the implications for the gospel and its effect on the Christian church in Canada and beyond. The panel will be moderated by Rev. Stephen Terpstra (Borculo CRC, Zeeland, MI) and include CRC pastors Rev. Ryan Braam (Brighton (ON) Fellowship CRC) and Rev. Matt Vanden Heuvel (Covenant CRC, Calgary, AB), as well as special guests Iain Provan (professsor of biblical studies at Regent University) and Marty Moore (legal expert at the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms).

On January 7, 2022, Bill C-4, a federal bill that amends Canada’s Criminal Code by creating new criminal offenses related to conversion therapy, came into effect. The new offenses include knowingly causing another person to undergo conversion therapy, promoting or advertising conversion therapy, and receiving financial or material benefit from conversion therapy. Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada David Lametti and Minister for Women and Gender Equality and Youth Marci Ien introduced the bill on November 29, 2021. On December 1, members of Parliament (MPs) in the House of Commons unanimously agreed to expeditiously adopt a motion to pass the bill. Soon after, the bill was also fast-tracked in the Senate, and on December 7 it was passed without amendment. The bill received royal assent on December 8, 2021. The bill itself stipulated that the law would come into force 30 days after it received royal assent.

Contents of the Bill

The bill defines “conversion therapy” as follows:

[C]onversion therapy means a practice, treatment or service designed to

(a) change a person’s sexual orientation to heterosexual;

(b) change a person’s gender identity to cisgender;

(c) change a person’s gender expression so that it conforms to the sex assigned to the person at birth;

(d) repress or reduce non-heterosexual attraction or sexual behaviour;

(e) repress a person’s non-cisgender gender identity; or

(f) repress or reduce a person’s gender expression that does not conform to the sex assigned to the person at birth.

For greater certainty, this definition does not include a practice, treatment, or service that relates to the exploration or development of an integrated personal identity — such as a practice, treatment, or service that relates to a person’s gender transition — and that is not based on an assumption that a particular sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression is to be preferred over another.

The bill amends sections 320.‍102–104 of the Criminal Code to establish the following as indictable offenses:

  • Knowingly causing another person to undergo conversion therapy or providing such therapy, which is punishable by up to five years’ imprisonment.
  • Knowingly promoting or advertising conversion therapy, which is punishable by up to two years’ imprisonment.
  • Receiving a financial or other material benefit, knowing that it is obtained or derived directly or indirectly from the provision of conversion therapy, which is punishable by up to two years’ imprisonment.

Each of these offenses can also be punished on summary conviction.

Bill C-4 amends subsection 164(8) of the Criminal Code to define “advertisement of conversion therapy” as “any material — including a photographic, film, video, audio or other recordings, made by any means, a visual representation or any written material — that is used to promote or advertise conversion therapy contrary to section 320.‍103.” Moreover, the bill states that “[i]t also amends the Criminal Code to authorize courts to order that advertisements for conversion therapy be disposed of or deleted,” including from computer systems or the internet. (Bill C-4 summary; sec. 2(2).)

In addition, the bill amends the existing offense under section 273.3(1)(c) of the Criminal Code, which prohibits the removal of children from Canada for “specified purposes,” to now include subjecting them to conversion therapy abroad. This is also a hybrid offense that is punishable by up to five years imprisonment on indictment.

Previous Attempts to Ban Conversion Therapy in Canada

Previous attempts to pass a bill to ban conversion therapy in Canada were unsuccessful. Bill C-6, which was considered during the second session of the 43rd Parliament, “died on the order paper when Prime Minister Justin Trudeau prorogued Parliament before the last federal election.” An even earlier Bill C-8 that was under consideration in early 2020 was “derailed” when the “government turned its focus almost exclusively to its emergency response to the COVID-19 pandemic.”

The previous Bill C-6 was eventually adopted in the House, despite opposition from dozens of Conservative MPs, and it faced opposition from Conservative senators in the Senate as well. One news report indicates that “[t]hose opposed to the legislation generally criticized it for offering too broad a definition of conversion therapy.” Another news report notes that “[a]t the time, Conservative Senators expressed concerns about the bill and said it merited a fulsome study in the fall.”

Passage of the Current Bill

This time around, the bill had cross-party support, and it was Conservative MPs and senators who proposed fast-tracking the bill through unanimous consent motions in both chambers. One news report stated that this shift was “likely in an attempt to make [the conversion therapy bill] no longer a wedge issue used by the Liberals.” Conservative Sen. Leo Housakos, who proposed the motion to expedite the bill in the Senate, reportedly declared that “C-4 is a bill that has been turned into a controversial political football, unfortunately. We saw the House of Commons do the right thing a number of days ago and pass this piece of legislation unanimously.” Advocacy groups also praised the “unanimous support” for the bill in Parliament, with No Conversion Canada founder Nicholas Schiavo claiming that the passage of the bill “sends a clear message to LGBTQ2 Canadians: you are valid and deserving of a life free from harm.”

Pope FRANCIS funnels money to illegal Muslim migrants

“If the pope were dedicated to the destruction of Catholic Europe, what would he be doing differently? Nothing.”

“Francis Funnels Funds to Muslim Migrants,” by Jules Gomes, ChurchMilitant.com, February 17, 2022:

VATICAN (ChurchMilitant.com) – Pope Francis is channeling funds to illegal Muslim immigrants, who have stormed the Lithuanian border in record numbers.

The illegal border crossers, who are coming in via Belarus, pose a threat to the national security of the mainly Catholic country.

As Lithuania struggles to fight the influx, the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development announced Saturday that Pope Francis had sent 50,000 euros through the apostolic nunciature in Vilnius to assist migrants in Lithuania on the Belarusian border.

Francis’ support for the flood of illegals in the troubled region is the pontiff’s second aid package since sending 100,000 euros to migrants on the border between Poland and Belarus in early January.

In a press statement, the Vatican said that the Holy Father’s contribution to migrants on the Polish border was intended to “deal with the migratory emergency on the border between the two countries.”

Both aid packages will be channeled through local Catholic aid agencies Caritas Vilnius and Caritas Polska. The agencies are primarily assisting Muslim migrants from Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan and Iran. A smaller number of refugees, some of them Catholic, come from Congo-Brazzaville, Togo, Cameroon and the Ivory Coast.

Weaponizing Immigration

“What is noteworthy about the pope’s donations to these migrants is that Poland is doing all it can to keep them [the migrants] out, charging that Belarus’ [President] Lukashenko has weaponized Muslim migrants to weaken Polish civilization,” historian of Islam Robert Spencer told Church Militant.

Spencer, who has written over 21 books on Islam and the Middle East and is the author of recent bestseller Mass Migration in Europe: A Model for the U.S.?, elaborated:

The pope seems blithely unconcerned about the possibility of the weakening or destruction of what is left of Catholic European civilization at the hands of migrants who believe they are the “best of people” (Qur’an 3:110) and that non-Muslims are “the most vile of created beings” (Qur’an 98:6).

The pope shows no concern whatsoever for the national security concerns that are leading some Eastern European states to try to keep the migrants out. If the pope were dedicated to the destruction of Catholic Europe, what would he be doing differently? Nothing….

survey of Lithuanians revealed that citizens did not like that “most refugees are Muslims” and that “Muslim refugees will try to popularize their religion among us,” even though respondents mostly disagree with propositions that all terrorists are Muslims. The survey found that women felt more threatened by Muslim refugees….

How a Trial in Finland Could Have Worldwide Effects on Government Persecution of Religion

Finnish Lutherans under investigation for upholding biblical teachings on sexuality ...

Prosecution against Diocesan Dean Juhana Pohjola, ThD - Mission Diocese

BY THE FEDERALIST

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

‘If the prosecution wins, the ability of pastors to preach the gospel is effectively over in Finland, without criminal sanction.’

The trial of two Finnish Christians for publicly stating mainstream religious teachings that reserve sex only for heterosexual marriage is heading towards a judgment scheduled for March 30. The case could end up hitting Finland’s Supreme Court and even the European Court of Human Rights, which means its outcome could affect the rights of religious believers and political dissidents across the world.

Members of Parliament Paivi Rasanen and Lutheran Bishop Juhana Pohjola have been prosecuted now for nearly three years after Rasanen tweeted a picture of Bible verses in June 2019. Complaints about this tweet led to her prosecution under Finland’s “hate crimes” laws.

The government investigation of Rasanen’s tweet uncovered a theological pamphlet she wrote and Pojhola published in 2004, for which they have both been charged. The booklet states classic Christian teachings about sex as reserved only for marriage, and defines marriage as comprising only one man and one woman for life.

“The teachings concerning marriage and sexuality in the Bible arise from love to one’s neighbor,” Rasanen said in a Feb. 17 statement. “This case is about whether it is allowed in Finland to cite the Bible and to agree with it in topics that go against the tide and challenge the current ethos and thinking.”

Oral arguments in the case wrapped up this week on Valentine’s Day. On Feb. 17, a Finnish court also heard a related request from the prosecutor to force a Finnish radio show to take offline a two-minute audio clip of Rasanen speaking about marriage in 2019.

“Being criminally charged for voicing my deeply held beliefs in a country that has such deep roots in freedom of speech and religion feels unreal,” Rasanen told The Federalist.

Prosecutor Seeks to Ban Christian Speech, Including From Pastors

On Feb. 14, Pojhola’s lawyer Jyrki Anttinen argued “if the prosecution wins, the ability of pastors to preach the gospel is effectively over in Finland — without criminal sanction,” said Lorcan Price, a lawyer assisting the case for Alliance Defending Freedom International who attended the Helsinki hearing. An Irishman, Price listened with the aid of a Finnish translator.

The Finnish prosecutor who brought the case is seeking a fine of one-third of Rasanen’s annual income, the public erasure of documents and audio she’s made on the subject, and a financial penalty against the small religious organization Pohjola runs, the Luther Foundation. If the two Christians are convicted, the steepest possible penalty could be two years in prison.

“I’ve been to his headquarters, the Mission Diocese of the Lutheran Evangelical Church,” Price noted. “It’s fairly utilitarian. It’s not luxurious — there’s no marble foyer with a fountain and receptionist. There’s a kitchen and a communal area and Bishop Juhana’s office.”

“They’re a breakaway from the main Lutheran church,” Price continued. In fact, Pohjola was expelled from the state church in 2014, also for affirming classic Christian theology about differences between the two sexes. He was elected bishop by his growing missionary congregations last year. “The main church abandoned the teachings but got to keep all of the buildings. That’s what we have here. He’s in fairly basic accommodation, let’s say. I think anything of their income is outrageous.”

Attempt to Expand Government Censorship

It’s not clear Finland’s hate crimes law even bans controversial speech, but Finland’s top prosecutor is arguing that it does. If the prosecutor wins the case, it would mark an unprecedented expansion of identity laws that exist in most European countries, many U.S. cities and states, and that U.S. Democrats are trying to make a nationwide law in The Equality Act.

“The prosecutor believes the law means you can’t preach the gospel in public, but some believe it means you can’t directly incite violence,” Price noted.

The charges against the two Christians include an attempt to criminalize statements they made years before the law being used to prosecute them passed. That’s the only charge against Pohjola, and one of three charges against Rasanen.

“The fact that Bishop Juhana is even in this trial is Kafkaesque, it’s insane,” Price said. “He’s being charged with something he did as the head of a charitable foundation, the Luther Foundation, that publishes theological documents, for a document he didn’t write that expresses mainstream, orthodox Christian teaching… Finding that Bishop Juhana as a publisher broke the law would damage the rights of publishers to publish things that are controversial and as a church leader [would] damage his ability to publish and evangelize and disseminate in public Christian teaching.”

The Federalist interviewed Pohjola in person in November, and Rasanen via Zoom last week. As their case concluded arguments this week, U.S. members of Congress reiterated their public concerns about its implications for human rights both worldwide and in the United States.

Case Likely To Set International Precedents

It’s likely their case won’t be over even after the court decision likely out at the end of March, said Price. That’s because both parties are likely to appeal if they lose.

If the court convicts Rasanen or Pohjola, or both, their lawyers will “definitely” appeal, Price said. The Finnish prosecutor also seems likely to appeal if the two Christians are not convicted, as she has appealed similar cases attempting to criminalize politically incorrect views, he said.

The Finnish legal system allows prosecutors to appeal if they don’t win a conviction in their first-round at court. In common law countries like England and the United States, usually, only those convicted of crimes can appeal, not their prosecutors, except under unusual circumstances, Price said.

“I think that’s very burdensome for those accused,” he noted. “So you can go through multiple levels of the court and be vindicated at each level and the prosecutor can keep dragging the accused through the courts.”

All this means Rasanen and Pohjola’s cases could very well end up in Finland’s Supreme Court, where if they lose they could appeal to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France, from where Price spoke to The Federalist by Zoom on Tuesday. That means their case could affect how all of Europe treats Christian doctrines and free speech more broadly.

Like the United States, Europe has been increasingly restricting political and religious speech, especially in international courts against countries seen as unfashionably conservative, such as Hungary and Poland, Price said. This case, therefore, comes at a crucial time as speech rights are receiving less government support than has been long-standing in the West.

Silencing Attempt Backfires

Before this case, Rasanen and Pohjola’s theological booklet was printed years ago in a few hundred copies and mostly used within tiny Lutheran churches. Their prosecution has caused it to be distributed around the world and translated into several other languages, Price said.

“This obscure little pamphlet has made its way around the world thanks to the efforts of the prosecutor to shut it down,” he noted.

Being targeted for their faith has given Rasanen and Pohjola a global platform for preaching the Christian message of forgiveness for all sins and the deep importance to Christians of the Bible as the very Word of God. Rasanen told The Federalist that because of her case, European media are quoting Bible verses and people are debating their meaning. She says she’s received emails from people saying her case has prompted them to start reading the Bible, which the pastor’s wife and grandmother of nine says she’s read repeatedly since age 16.

Rasanen spoke to the huge worldwide audience of Fox News this week about her case. Political and religious leaders around the world have also expressed support for Rasanen and Pohjola’s rights to free speech and religious exercise, which are legally recognized in European human rights agreements.

“Many people and journalists around the world regularly ask me: ‘What keeps you going, from where do you find the courage to speak up?’” Rasanen told The Federalist. “My motivation comes from the Bible and from my will to have an impact on society. A conviction based on the Christian faith is more than a [superficial] opinion. The early Christians did not renounce their faith in lions’ caves, why should I then renounce my faith in a courtroom? I believe it is my calling and honor to defend the foundational rights and freedoms at this point of my life.”

While some people have been scared into silence about their beliefs because of this prosecution, Rasanen said, it’s also prompted 1,000 Finns to stand in front of Parliament holding their Bibles up to “collectively show strong support for the freedom of God’s Word.” The Finnish Association for Freedom of Speech and Religion was also founded last June to support the legal defense for this case and possibly others.

“In one sense the prosecutor has frightened part of the population into being quiet and in another, it has drawn huge attention to the issue,” Price said. “We can’t underestimate the chilling effect of these prosecutions. She [the prosecutor] cannot but regard this as at least a partial success that sending a tweet about the Bible could result in the police coming to your door. Not everyone has the grit and determination of Paivi.

“That’s our concern with these hate speech laws. It denudes society of the opportunity to hear something that can be shocking and provocative but is also a different perspective and for Christians founded on a fundamental truth of scripture.”

Christian Fundraising Platform Hacked, Info Belonging to Freedom Convoy Supporters Leaked

BY CHRISTIANITY DAILY

SEE: https://americanfaith.com/christian-fundraising-platform-hacked-info-belonging-to-freedom-convoy-supporters-leaked/; republished below in full unedited for educational & research purposes:

Late Sunday night, hackers attacked the website of GiveSendGo, a Delaware-based Christian crowdfunding platform that facilitated the collection of over $8.7 million worth of donations for the Freedom Convoy, the trucker protests in Canada.

Hackers redirected to the domain GiveSendGone.wtf and showed a scene from the Disney film “Frozen” as a backdrop and a manifesto criticizing the Freedom Convoy.

According to The Daily Dot’s Mikael Thalen, the redirected website addressed “GiveSendGo grifters and hatriots” who “raised to fund an insurrection.” The hackers alleged without proof that GiveSendGo donors “helped fund the January 6th insurrection in the U.S.” and “helped fund an insurrection in Ottawa.”

“You are committed to funding anything that keeps the raging fire of misinformation going until that it burns the world’s collective democracies down,” the hackers alleged in the manifesto.

“The leaders of this ‘movement’ are known extremists who publicly stated that they want to overthrow the government,” the hackers wrote without any evidence proving their claims. “They held a city hostage for weeks while terrorizing the peaceful citizens who live there.”

Finally, the hackers, again without proof, accused GiveSendGo of having “a history of providing a platform for individuals and organized groups to fund hate groups, promote disinformation and insurrection disguised as ‘protests.’ Most of their larger campaigns are, in some way, a continuing threat to democracy.”

According to the National Post, the hackers also published a spreadsheet of raw donor data that contained names, emails, and dollar amounts of about 93,000 individuals who purportedly donated funds to the Freedom Convoy. This included an American tech billionaire, two NASA employees, and Canadian civil servants, among many others.

The report verified that all donations, except 686, were below $1,000 each. The largest donation of $215,000 was made on February 6 and was listed as “Processed but not recorded” without any other information. The largest named donation of $90,000 was made on February 9 by American tech billionaire Thomas Siebel, founder of enterprise software company Siebel Systems and artificial intelligence software platform and applications company C3.ai. He also provided a $9,000 donation to GiveSendGo.

Among the other donations was the largest donation of $75,000 from Canada, with an added $1,000 in GiveSendGo’s tip jar made by the president of a New Brunswick-based pressure washer manufacturer. The London, Ontario-based vice president of the AutoCanada car dealership chain also donated $25,000, while the chair of a Cannington, Ontario-based community and family support organization donated $20,000. Ben Pogue, a Dallas, Texas-based construction magnate who donated over $200,000 to help re-elect former U.S. president Donald Trump, donated $20,000 to the Freedom Convoy.

The Christian Post reported that last week the Ontario Superior Court of Justice issued an order to halt access to the funds raised by GiveSendGo. On Saturday, the crowdfunding site took to Twitter to clarify that the funds for the Freedom Convoy are “not frozen contrary to what you might be hearing on the news” and that they were “working with many different campaign organizers to find the most effective legal ways to continue funds flowing.”

Caligula’s Horse in the Senate, Biden’s Dog in the Department of Energy Biden’s handlers bring us to the late, decadent stage before the destruction.

BY ROBERT SPENCER

SEE: https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/2022/02/caligulas-horse-senate-bidens-dog-doe-robert-spencer/; republished below in full unedited for educational & research purposes:

In the most consequential appointment since the Roman emperor Caligula made his horse Incitatus a senator, Old Joe Biden’s handlers have appointed one Sam Brinton (“they/them”) to be the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition in the Office of Nuclear Energy in the Department of Energy. But in our American version of late imperial decadence, Brinton is not a horse, but a dog: Brinton is also involved in “puppy play,” which apparently involves grown men putting on dog masks and behaving like animals for sexual kicks. Some people think Caligula was playing an elaborate practical joke on the Roman elites by exalting Incitatus, but the appointment of Sam Brinton is no laughing matter, and no one is more po-faced about it than the broadminded Leftists of the Biden administration.

Brinton is, to put it bluntly, a pervert, and proud of it. In his drag queen persona, “Sister Ray Dee O’Active,” he announces: “I am the slutty one. And the nerdy one. #sexynerd.” In a 2016 article in Metro Weekly, he speaks at length about puppy play (he is identified only by his first name, but an accompanying photo makes it clear that Sam in the article is Brinton), explaining his role as a “handler” of men who pretending to be puppies: “It’s the concept of the teacher and nurturer…. My job is to make sure that while he’s in headspace, I’m keeping him safe.” He says of one of his companions in this bizarre role play: “Pup and I have what I feel is one of the most ideally perfect connections between our personal and kink life. Both of us have other partners, so we come into this space, and then we come out of it, knowing the boundaries of where your kink and non-kink relationships begin and end.” Right, that’s always good to keep in mind.

The new Deputy Assistant Secretary explains some of the hazards of “puppy play”: “I actually have trouble when we transition from pup play to having sex. Like, ‘No, I can’t have you whimper like that when we’re having sex,’ because I don’t want to mix that world. It’s interesting, because he doesn’t have to come out of pup mode to have me f**k him. I personally have to bring him out of pup perception for me. But then I’m still treating him as a submissive to me.”

The Biden administration official also defends the concept against those strait-laced bigots who might object to the whole idea: “One of the hardest things about being a handler is that I’ve honestly had people ask, ‘Wait, you have sex with animals?’ They believe it’s abusive, that it’s taking advantage of someone who may not be acting up to a level of human responsibility…. The other misperception is that I have some really messed up background, like, did I have some horrible childhood trauma that made me like to have sex with animals.”

Brinton promotes all this on college campuses. A student who attended his speech at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2017 reported: “Throughout the entire talk, Brinton was open about his experiences, the kinks he partakes in, and the nature of his relationships. He left us with countless anecdotes, like how he enjoys tying up his significant other like a table, and eating his dinner on him while he watches Star Trek.”

In his government work, Brinton makes no secret of who and what he is. According to the bio he provided to the “LGBTQ Religious Archives Network,” “Sam has worn his stilettos to Congress to advise legislators about nuclear policy and to the White House where he advised President Obama and Michelle Obama on LGBT issues.”

However, according to the Washington Examiner, “Brinton also holds a master's degree in nuclear engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and had previously advised former President Donald Trump on nuclear waste matters.” Many would insist that what he does on his own time, however bizarre it may be to many people, has no bearing on whether he is qualified for the position he has been appointed to in the Department of Energy. And he may indeed be a perfectly competent Deputy Assistant Secretary of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition. But the fact is that in human societies and cultures all over the world and throughout human history, such decadence as his personal behavior represents has only been seen in nations that were comfortable, wealthy, overconfident, and ripe for destruction.

It would be naïve to assert that the United States of America at the beginning of the twenty-first century has reached some new level or stage of perversity. This kind of behavior has always been with us. But only rarely has it been flaunted with the gleeful self-confidence Sam Brinton displays, and it is not without reason that such flaunting has come to be associated with the late, decadent stage of once-great nations. Given the race to ruin that the Biden administration is pursuing, Sam Brinton will fit right in.

More Than Half of Americans Can’t Find “a Single Thing” Biden Has Done Right in His First Year

When a major mouthpiece for the left is forced to admit that Biden is in trouble, Biden is in trouble. After reviewing the latest poll conducted by SSRS Research for CNN, the network’s political commentator, Chris Cillizza, tweeted: “When those who disapproved of Biden’s overall performance were asked to name a single thing he’d done that they … approved of, 56% had nothing positive to say.”

The poll covered a “representative sample of the adult population,” explained SSRS, with the survey done via the internet or by phone from January 10 through February 6. It was a large enough sample to measure accurately, within three percentage points, just how Americans feel about the job Joe Biden is doing after a year in the Oval Office.

No matter what question was asked or what issue or topic was covered, more than six out of ten respondents gave Biden a failing grade: “The President’s ratings have fallen across the board, the survey found. Just 41% approved of the way he’s handling his job while 58% disapproved, a significant drop from his approval numbers in CNN polling last year,” said CNN.

Worse were the survey’s results among Independents and Republicans: “Just 36% of independents and 9% of Republicans approved.”

Even among Democrats Biden lost ground, with 83 percent approving now compared to 94 percent approving last year.

Sixty-two percent disapprove of his handling of the economy (down 8 points since December), 54 percent disapprove of his handling of the pandemic (down 9 points since December), and 57 percent say they consider Biden’s administration to be a failure after his first year in office.

CNN writers Jennifer Agiesta and Ariel Edwards-Levy, given the unhappy task of trying to find something good to say about the CNN-sponsored poll, were hard-pressed to find anything. What they did find is that, given the results, Biden is now essentially a “lame duck” in the White House, with little ability to change or reset the public’s perception of his performance for whatever remains of his first term:

[T]he poll suggests few have much faith in anything Washington or Biden may do this year. The share who say they felt even somewhat well represented by the federal government remained low at 32%, and only 21% of Americans said they currently had a lot of confidence in Biden’s ability to provide real leadership for the country.

The share who said they had a lot of confidence in the President’s ability to work effectively with Congress has dropped by half since last March, from 32% to 15%, including a 28 percentage point drop among Democrats over that time.

John Hanson, writing for The Political Insider, posed: “Democrats must be wondering if it can get any worse. Given the trajectory of this president, the honest answer is ‘probably!’”
