Kash Patel Announces Plan to Cut ATF by Reassigning 1,000 Agents to FBI ~ VIDEO

Ammoland, Inc. Posted on

Washington, D.C. – In a bold move that’s being celebrated by many in the gun rights community, newly appointed FBI Director Kash Patel has unveiled a major restructuring plan that could gut the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). On the heels of 14 anti-gun House Democrats demanding President Trump remove Kash Patel as head of the ATF, Trump/Kash is now reassigning up to 1,000 of its agents to the FBI.

That’s more than a third of the entire ATF agent workforce.

Patel, who also serves as Acting Director of the ATF, began his leadership of both agencies under President Donald Trump’s direction last month. According to reports, the reassignments are being framed as part of a “surge initiative” to support border enforcement and combat organized crime. But the long-term result could be a significant reduction in the ATF’s footprint—something many gun owners have demanded for decades.

“The ATF has been weaponized for too long,” said one pro-2A activist who applauded the move. “It’s about time someone stepped in to start reining them in.”

An ATF spokeswoman tried to downplay the situation, claiming the move was only temporary and that agents would still be working as part of the ATF in other field offices. But sources close to the plan suggest otherwise—indicating that while it may start as temporary, these agents will be absorbed into the FBI with no clear return date. In effect, the ATF’s enforcement arm could be permanently thinned out.

The plan, first reported by CNN, triggered some pushback, including from inside the Republican Party. That mild backlash reportedly caused FBI officials to hesitate slightly—but for now, the plan still appears to be moving forward.

This isn’t the first time a presidential administration has considered folding part of the ATF into the FBI. In fact, even Joe Biden floated the idea while serving as vice president under Obama. But under the Trump-Patel team, this could be the first time it’s implemented.

The ATF currently employs around 2,600 special agents and has a total staff of over 5,000. That number has barely changed in years, but this plan—if carried out—would make one of the most significant cuts to the agency in its history.

Gun rights advocates have long argued that the ATF operates with vague laws, questionable tactics, and aggressive enforcement that often crosses constitutional lines. From the Waco siege in the 1990s to recent crackdowns on pistol bracessolvent traps, and forced-reset triggers, the agency has become a symbol of federal overreach in the eyes of millions of Americans.

Now, with Patel at the helm of both the FBI and ATF, a quiet but powerful shift may be underway—one that reflects the belief that protecting the border and fighting real crime is a better use of federal manpower than going after law-abiding gun owners.

Stay tuned. The ATF may never be the same again.

Trump Announces Preparations To Move 30,000 Illegal Aliens To Guantanamo Bay: ‘The Worst Of The Worst’

PALM BEACH, FLORIDA - DECEMBER 16: U.S. President-elect Donald Trump speaks at a news conference at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort on December 16, 2024 in Palm Beach, Florida. In a news conference that went over an hour, Trump announced that SoftBank will invest over $100 billion in projects in the United States including 100,000 artificial intelligence related jobs and then took questions on Syria, Israel, Ukraine, the economy, cabinet picks, and many other topics. President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that his administration is preparing to send 30,000 of the most violent and dangerous illegal aliens to Guantanamo Bay.

Guantanamo Bay, also known as GITMO, is a U.S. military prison within Naval Station Guantanamo Bay on the coast of Guantánamo Bay, Cuba.

“Today I’m also signing an executive order to instruct the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security to begin preparing the 30,000-person migrant facility at Guantanamo Bay,” Trump stated. “Most people don’t even know about it.”

“Some of them are so bad, we don’t even trust their countries to hold them because we don’t want them coming back,” Trump continued. “We’re going to send them to Guantanamo.”

Trump’s latest initiative to crackdown on illegal immigration has resulted in U.S. law enforcement officials removing and returning at least 7,300 illegal aliens since Trump took office, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

“Most people don’t even know that we have 30,000 beds in Guantanamo to detain the worst criminal illegal aliens threatening the American people,” Trump highlighted. “This will double our capacity immediately… It’s a tough place to get out of.”

Trump’s order requires the DHS and the Defense Department to take “all appropriate actions to expand” the facilities “to full capacity to provide additional detention space for high-priority criminal aliens unlawfully present in the United States.”

At Gitmo, the U.S. had previously housed hundreds of individuals suspected of terrorism following the September 11th, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center. However, only 15 current terrorist suspects remain today.

Additionally, President Trump’s appointed border czar, Tom Homan, added that “there’s already a migrant center” at the Cuban outpost that’s “been there for decades.”

“So we’re just going to expand upon that existing migrant center,” Homan continued, revealing that those sent to Cuba will be “the worst of the worst.”

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth noted that the facility is going to be used for “temporary transit” — processing and returning individuals to their countries in a safe manner.

Meanwhile, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel slammed the decision, referring to the outpost as “well-known prisons of torture and illegal detention.”

English Translation: “In an act of brutality, the new US government announces the imprisonment at the Guantanamo Naval Base, located in illegally occupied territory #Cuba , of thousands of migrants that it forcibly expels, and will place them next to the well-known prisons of torture and illegal detention,” Díaz-Canel wrote in an X post.

U.S. announces nearly $6B in military, budget aid to Ukraine

U.S. President Joe Biden announced nearly $6 billion in additional military and budget assistance for Ukraine, including about $2.5 billion in security assistance for the war-torn country. With Biden’s tenure ending in just a few weeks, the 82-year-old is using his final days in office to boost aid to Kyiv before President-elect Donald Trump takes power.

President Joe Biden announced an executive action on Monday that bans new drilling and further oil and natural gas development on more than 625 million acres of U.S. coastal and offshore waters.

Biden stated that he is using his power to protect offshore areas along the East and West coasts, the eastern Gulf of Mexico and portions of Alaska’s Northern Bering Sea from future oil and natural gas leasing.

He used the 1953 Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act, which means that President-elect Donald Trump would be limited in his ability to revoke the action made by Biden. Congress would have to possibly intervene to grant Trump the authority to overturn it.

“My decision reflects what coastal communities, businesses, and beachgoers have known for a long time: that drilling off these coasts could cause irreversible damage to places we hold dear and is unnecessary to meet our nation’s energy needs,” Biden said in a statement. “It is not worth the risks. As the climate crisis continues to threaten communities across the country as we transition to a clean energy economy, now is the time to protect these coasts for our children and grandchildren.”

The move garnered quick condemnation from Trump’s incoming White House Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt.

“This is a disgraceful decision designed to exact political revenge on the American people who gave President Trump a mandate to increase drilling and lower gas prices. Rest assured, Joe Biden will fail and we will drill, baby, drill,” Leavitt wrote on X.

Biden gave himself credit for what he called a legacy move in the fight against climate change.

“From Day One, I have delivered on the most ambitious climate and conservation agenda in our country’s history. And over the last four years, I have conserved more than 670 million acres of America’s lands and waters, more than any other president in history,” Biden said. “Our country’s remarkable conservation and restoration progress has been locally led by Tribes, farmers and ranchers, fishermen, small businesses, and outdoor recreation enthusiasts across the country. Together, our ‘America the Beautiful’ initiative put the United States on track to meet my ambitious goal to conserve at least 30 percent of our Nation’s lands and waters by 2030.”

“We do not have to choose between protecting the environment and growing our economy, or between keeping our oceans healthy, our coastlines resilient, and the food they produce secure, and keeping energy prices low,” the statement added. “Those are false choices. Protecting America’s coasts and oceans is the right thing to do, and will help communities and the economy flourish for generations to come.”

Ron Neal, chairman of the Independent Petroleum Association of America’s Offshore Committee, also slammed Biden’s last-ditch offshore drilling ban as “significant and catastrophic.”

“While it may not directly affect the currently active production areas in the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) and adjoining coastal areas, it represents a major attack on the oil and natural gas industry. This should be seen as the ‘elephant’s nose under the tent.’ The ban severely limits the potential for exploration and development in new areas, therefore choking the long-term survivability of the industry,” Neal, also the president of Houston Energy LP and CEO of HEQ Deepwater, said in a statement. “This move is a first step towards more extensive restrictions across our industry in all U.S. basins, including the onshore. If the activists are coming for anything, they are coming for everything. This policy is catastrophic for the development of new areas for oil and natural gas, but environmentalists will eventually look to also shut down offshore wind farms for most of the same reasons. President Biden and his allies continue to push anti-energy policies that will hurt Americans.”

Throughout his 2024 campaign, Trump has vowed to deliver American “energy dominance” on the world stage as he looked toward bolstering U.S. oil and gas drilling, as well as distance from Biden’s prioritization of climate change initiatives.

Walmart Announces Departure From DEI Initiatives

Walmart said it will also 'identify and remove inappropriate sexual and/or transgender products marketed to children.’

Updated:

Walmart plans to end its diversity, equity, and inclusion—or DEI—initiatives, the retail giant said on Nov. 25.

“We’ve been on a journey and know we aren’t perfect, but every decision comes from a place of wanting to foster a sense of belonging, to open doors to opportunities for all our associates, customers and suppliers and to be a Walmart for everyone,” the company said in a statement.

The company announced that it will refrain from financing events aimed at sexually influencing children, stop participating in the Human Rights Coalition’s Corporate Equality Index, and remove the gender-neutral term “Latinx” from its documents, according to conservative filmmaker Robby Starbuck, who had been talking to Walmart for a story he was doing featuring the company’s DEI initiatives.

The company will also change its Supplier Inclusion program, which was criticized because of its tendency to give “preferential treatment on the basis of race.” Its purpose was to assist suppliers that were more than 51 percent owned by “protected classes,” such as minorities, women, and LGBT individuals.

The retail giant said it would not provide further funding beyond its 2020 commitment of $100 million to its nonprofit Center for Racial Equity, for which it promised funding for five years.

Walmart will also “identify and remove inappropriate sexual and/or transgender products marketed to children,” such as chest binders, which it sells on its website.

Starbuck said that Walmart contacted him after the company became aware of his investigation.

“After various conversations, I am very proud to report to you guys that Walmart has decided on making some changes,” Starbuck stated in the video on Nov. 25. He called Walmart’s turnaround a “massive win” for the conservative movement, which supporters said is supportive of equality of opportunity over the equality of outcome outlined in DEI policies.

Companies including Lowe’s, Ford, Jack Daniel’s, John Deere, Tractor Supply, and Harley-Davidson have dropped their DEI practices, Starbuck noted.

The changes come amid growing concerns over DEI policies and programs in corporate America and other sectors of society.

President-elect Donald Trump has said he intends to start rooting out what he called divisive policies in the U.S. military on day one of his new administration.

Trump’s Defense Secretary-designate Pete Hegseth is expected to fire generals who implement DEI in the military. Appearing on the “Shawn Ryan Show” earlier this month, Hegseth said, “Any general that was involved, general, admiral, whatever, that was involved in any of the DEI” must be removed."

According to the Fortune 500 list, Walmart is the biggest company in the world by revenue. Forbes predicts that Walmart’s 2024 revenue will be $657.3 billion, an increase of $46 billion from last year.

President-elect Donald Trump has nominated more candidates for his upcoming cabinet, including Truth Social CEO Devin Nunes.

On Saturday, Trump announced that Nunes was picked as the chairperson of Trump’s Intelligence Advisory Board (IAB).

If confirmed, Nunes will lead the IAB, which advises the president on the legality of foreign intelligence activities.

He also announced IBM executive Troy Edgar as deputy secretary of Homeland Security.

“Troy served for me previously as the Chief Financial Officer and Associate Deputy Under Secretary of Management for Homeland Security, where he did an outstanding job managing their $90 Billion Dollar budget, resourcing critical immigration policy, and funding Wall construction,” Trump said.

“Troy is currently an executive at IBM. He holds an M.B.A. and B.S. of Business Administration from the University of Southern California,” Trump said. “He was previously the Mayor of Los Alamitos, California, where he helped me lead the City and County revolt against Sanctuary Cities in 2018.”

Edgar will serve alongside Governor Kristi Noem (R-S.D), who was tapped as Trump’s pick to lead the Department of Homeland Secretary.

He also stated that Bill White would serve as the U.S. ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium.

“Bill is a highly respected businessman, philanthropist, author, and advocate for our Nation’s Military, Veterans, and First Responders. He is the CEO of Constellations Group, and former President of the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum,” Trump said.

“Bill has worked tirelessly to support Great American Patriots who have given everything for our Country by raising over $1.5 Billion Dollars for our fallen heroes, catastrophically wounded, and severely burned Service Members. He is a twice recipient of the Meritorious Public Service Award for extraordinary service from the U.S. Coast Guard, and for outstanding support from the U.S. Navy.”

45th and 47th U.S. President Donald J. Trump has announced that Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy will lead the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

On Tuesday, Trump made the announcement in an official statement.

The president-elect explained that the two will “work together to liberate our Economy and make the U.S. Government accountable to ‘WE THE PEOPLE.’”

Vivek and Musk have been strong supporters of Trump throughout his campaign.

Musk continuously worked to combat disinformation perpetrated by the Kamala Harris campaign on his social media platform, X.

Harris’ campaign often lied about Trump’s views on abortion, in addition to lies related to the Heritage Foundation’s “Project 2025,” falsely claiming that Trump was personally involved. Musk endorsed Trump after he survived an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Soon after he dropped out of the GOP nominee race, Ramaswamy voiced his backing and support for Trump. Ramaswamy also vehemently criticized Harris for her policies related to both illegal immigration and the economy.

Trump previously commended the young Indian-American entrepreneur, calling him “smart as hell.”

After President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s recent visit to Scranton, Pennsylvania, U.S. President Joe Biden announced on Thursday that more than $8 billion in military aid would be provided to Ukraine in its war against Russia.

The first delivery of the Joint Standoff Weapon, a precision-guided glide bomb with a maximum range of 81 miles, will be one of the many expensive explosives provided as part of the aid. With the medium-range missile, Ukraine can try to strike Russian forces at “safer ranges,” and it significantly improves its arsenal of weaponry.

“Biden will not announce that Washington would let Ukraine use U.S. missiles to hit targets deeper in Russia," a U.S. official said,” according to Reuters.

“We’re making clear that we stand with Ukraine now and in the future,” Biden told reporters ahead of a bilateral meeting with Zelensky in the Oval Office. He said the U.S. would continue to help Ukraine strengthen its position on the battlefield, and that he had directed the Pentagon to allocate all remaining security funding by the end of his term in January.

Zelenskyy praised Biden for his decision to give Ukraine even more assistance, and he emphasized the need to secure Ukraine’s membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the European Union.

At least $5.5 billion of the extra aid will be disbursed before the financing authority expires on Monday, the last day of the U.S. fiscal year. Under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, an additional $2.4 billion is available, enabling the administration to purchase more weapons for Ukraine from companies.

According to Biden, this will boost Ukraine’s defense industrial base, support its maintenance and sustainment needs, and give it more air defense, unmanned aerial systems, as well as air-to-ground weapons.

The president also stated that his proposal also calls for the Defense Department to repair and supply Ukraine with more Patriot missiles and an extra Patriot air defense battery.

In order to boost training for Ukrainian F-16 pilots, Biden directed the Pentagon to support U.S.-funded training of at least 18 pilots in the upcoming year.

“I am grateful to the United States for providing the items that are most critical to protecting our people,” Zelenskyy said on Twitter, noting the Patriot battery, the large number of drones, and other long-range missiles.

At a campaign rally in North Carolina on Wednesday, former President Donald Trump expressed his own feelings regarding the continued U.S. funding of billions of dollars to Ukraine.

“We continue to give billions of dollars to a man who refused to make a deal, Zelenskyy,” Trump reminded the crowd.

Time Magazine and the BBC outlet also had some discouraging words to say about Ukraine’s war efforts.

“U.S. officials also need to recognize that even if this aid continues, there is no realistic chance of a total Ukrainian victory next year, or the year after that. Even if the Ukrainians can build up their forces, Russia can deepen its defenses even more,” Time Magazine reported.

Meanwhile, the BBC reported that: “the former commander of the UK’s Joint Forces Command has warned that Ukraine could face defeat by Russia in 2024.”

According to AllSides’ Political Bias Meter, the BBC lands “center-left,” while Time Magazine leans fully “left” politically.

How Dark-Money Elites ANOINTED Kamala Harris to CONTROL the Election

Who really runs this country? Is it Joe Biden? Kamala Harris? Yeah, no one really believes that. What about Pelosi, Schumer, or Jeffries? Obama? They even have to answer someone. It’s obvious political power brokers — a cabal — just led a coup on a sitting U.S. president. It’s not about democracy. It’s about money, and this cabal controls A LOT of it. The days of Soros and the Tides Foundation controlling the Democrat purse are behind us. There’s a new system in place that has the power to dump one president, groom another, and overthrow an entire election process in less than 48 hours. It wasn’t just the dark-money billionaires that opened up the financing floodgates. Apparently, we’re supposed to believe that the ENTIRE COUNTRY suddenly became excited for President Kamala Harris. Small donations allegedly skyrocketed. ActBlue, the Left’s main small-donor fundraiser platform, reported $27.5 million … within the first FIVE HOURS. Just a few hours later that number NEARLY DOUBLED to $46.7 million. After 24 hours, ActBlue was reporting over $90 MILLION for Mrs. Yellow School Bus. ActBlue declared that it was its biggest fundraising day of the entire 2024 election cycle. The former Federal Election Commission chair has said that “it’s quite clear” that Kamala Harris can just be GIFTED all of Joe Biden’s campaign funds, but the current FEC Chair Sean Cooksey told Glenn in an interview on “The Glenn Beck Program” that this is “unprecedented,” and he expects legal challenges to follow. He also said that it better happen soon because the window is closing fast. Gary Lawkowski, a partner at Dhillon Law Group and the deputy general counsel for the Trump campaign, filed a formal complaint with the FEC. He says Glenn Vice President Harris’ smash-and-grab seizure of President Biden’s campaign funds is the biggest campaign finance violation in history. Glenn asks, “What the hell is going on here?!” and reveals more ActBlue donation irregularities his research team stumbled onto that are very suspicious.
