President-elect Donald Trump confirmed that he plans on declaring a national emergency while utilizing “military assets” to enact a mass deportation campaign, reversing the flood of millions of illegal migrants who exploited the relaxed border policies under the Biden administration.
Trump’s confirmation was made apparent in a Truth Social post on Monday, in response to a report from conservative activist Tom Fitton.
“GOOD NEWS: Reports are the incoming @RealDonaldTrump administration is prepared to declare a national emergency and will use military assets to reverse the Biden invasion through a mass deportation program,” Fitton wrote, to which Trump responded, “TRUE!!!”
Trump has also previously detailed his plans to initiate a mass deportation campaign “On Day 1.”
“On Day 1, I will launch the largest deportation program in American history to get the criminals out,” Trump previously stated at a Madison Square Garden rally prior to Election Day. “I will rescue every city and town that has been invaded and conquered, and we will put these vicious and bloodthirsty criminals in jail, then kick them the hell out of our country as fast as possible.”
However, political analysts have noted that the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 could possibly present a roadblock for Trump’s plan, as the act limits the federal government’s ability to utilize the military to enforce domestic policy.
Nevertheless, the U.S. National Guard could also be a loophole that Trump utilizes, as the 1878 act doesn’t prohibit the National Guard from filling in and enforcing Trump’s executive action.
“If the incoming administration were to pursue such a strategy, it might involve deploying National Guard units or other military resources under different legal frameworks, potentially framing it as a public safety or humanitarian effort. However, this approach would most certainly provoke considerable backlash from civil rights groups and the public,” stated an anonymous ICE source, according to the New York Post.
Military defense attorney David Younts revealed that the military could be involved in more of a “support role,” providing logistics, security at detention centers and drone surveillance, even if it wouldn’t be allowed to detain illegal immigrants.
“When I worked with the National Guard, we would do things with the FBI, ATF or DEA. We would be doing a large bust and we would provide overwatch from helicopters, we would provide drone support, we would do all of those things,” Younts added.
Meanwhile, Trump’s appointed “border czar,” former acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement chief Tom Homan, explained that he will work to remove illegal immigrants from every city, regardless of their “sanctuary” status.
“I’ve been clear. President Trump’s been clear. Public safety and national security threats will be a priority because they have to be, they pose the most danger to this country,” Homan recently stated. “If they’re not willing to do it, then get out of the way – we’re coming.”
The American Immigration Council estimates that there are currently 11 million illegals residing in the United States, and the process of removing them could end up costing billions of dollars annually. However, other groups have disputed that number and have highlighted that this is a national security issue that needs to be dealt with immediately.
“Steven Camarota, the center’s research director, recently provided PolitiFact with a preliminary estimate of 14 million people in the country illegally as of March 2024,” according to the Austin American-Statesman.
Meanwhile, social media users chimed in and commented on the news of Trump’s confirmation.
“Sounds good to me and if there’s any opposition [and we know there will be] remember – Clinton deported, Obummer deported,Bush deported illegals – where was the uproar then???!” posted an online user on Truth Social.
Nothing xenophobic about this. If you’re in the country illegally, you need to get out. I don’t care what your race, your religion, or your background is. You broke the law to come into the country. You’re breaking the law to stay in the country. And many are probably breaking…
WASHINGTON D.C. — Following the news of Friday morning's fatal car crash at the hands of an illegal alien in Rome, Georgia, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene issued the following statement:
"Early Saturday morning, an illegal alien, Omar Alejandro Garcia, crashed head-on into a car in my hometown of Rome, GA, seriously injuring a 1-year-old, Riley Harris, and murdering the infant’s mother, Kadrian Harris, and Malik Henderson.
Illegal is charged with two counts of vehicular homicide, one count of serious injury by vehicle, DUI, driving without a license, fleeing/attempting to elude, reckless driving, and driving too fast for conditions.
Now, the child who miraculously survived this crash will grow up without its parents. An absolutely heartbreaking reality.
The sad truth is, this is not even the first time constituents of mine have been murdered by an illegal alien. I’m absolutely outraged.
Georgia is not a border state. Northwest Georgia is hundreds of miles away from our southern border.
It’s Joe Biden and Border Czar Kamala Harris’s refusal to secure our borders that has transformed every state into a border state and every town into a border town.
The blood of these innocent Americans who were killed by this illegal alien are on the hands of Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Secretary Mayorkas, and every open borders Democrat — and they are covered in it!
How many more Americans have to die before Joe Biden and Kamala Harris finally secure our borders and stop inviting people from every corner of the world into our country illegally?
Kamala Harris claims she wants to fix the problems at our southern border. She’s Vice President RIGHT NOW. If she really cared, she would have fixed this yesterday.
My heart weighs heavily on the families affected by this tragedy. I ask that you please join me in prayer for the victims, their families, and their friends. I especially ask you to join me in praying for the young child who will grow up in this world without her mother.

Biden granted Palestinians in the United States temporary protection from deportation amid the ongoing conflict overseas, according to a new memo Wednesday.
The move comes as the White House faces immense pressure from the Arab-American community over the situation in Gaza.
Late last year, Democrats urged Biden to extend temporary protections to Palestinians in the US, arguing that those already in the country “should not be forced to return to the Palestinian territories, consistent with President Biden’s stated commitment to protecting Palestinian civilians.”
The president has discretion to authorize what’s known as deferred enforced departure, which protects those covered from removal from the US for a period of time. Those who qualify are also eligible for work permits.
This is a green light encouraging Arab Muslim settlers from the region to come to America. While the temporary protection from deportation is supposed to kick in only for those enemy aliens currently here, anyone who makes it across the border without being spotted can show up and claim that he was here all along.
The usual pro-terror lobby and its Democrat elected officials had been demanding TPS (Temporary Protected Status) for Arab Muslims operating in Judea and Samaria, Biden instead granted Deferred Enforced Departure (DED).
That’s the good news here. DED is arguably illegal, unlike TPS. It’s really similar to Obama’s DREAM amnesty. But the legal provisions for it are weaker and so accordingly DED recipients have a weaker case, but the pernicious thing about TPS is that it gets extended virtually endlessly. Some countries have had TPS status for decades, making for an illegal alien population that just moved here and will never leave.
The bad news about DED is that it can also be extended. While the DED status for the Pallies is currently at 18 months, that can be renewed and there will be pressure to renew it. For example, Liberia’s status has been under DED since 2007. At some point DED may transition to TPS and we’ll have an even larger domestic terrorist population.
