Despite the storm of scandals and controversies swirling around the bruised and battered Hillsong Church in Australia and the Bethel Church in California, worship leaders are not shying away from incorporating songs from these two megachurches into their worship sessions.
A recent study unveiled this week shows that worship leaders gravitate towards these songs not because they top the worship charts but because they have a personal connection with them, often discovered online, at conferences, or through friends’ recommendations. According to the study:
“The most influential factors in discovering a new worship song are peer endorsements and personal experiences. Worship leaders mainly trust their friends and fellow church leaders to provide them with song recommendations.”
The study draws on responses from over 400 worship leaders across the U.S. and Canada, seeking their insights on music production and their song selection process for worship.
Demonstrating a woeful lack of discernment, a mere 16% of worship leaders admitted to being less inclined to choose a song associated with Hillsong. In comparison, 27% expressed a similar hesitancy towards songs linked to Bethel.
On the other hand, a significant 62% confessed they were likely to pick songs from Hillsong, with a slightly lesser 48% saying they would likely opt for songs associated with Bethel.
Three months ago, Worship Leader Research reported that four megachurches were responsible for producing and releasing nearly all the top worship songs released in the last decade, with Hillsong and Bethel being two of them.

Oregon became the first state to decriminalize hard drugs like heroin, cocaine and meth in a 59-41% vote as of early Wednesday morning, according to the Associated Press.
The "Drug Addiction Treatment and Recovery Act" will transition Oregon's drug policy from a punitive, criminal approach to "a humane, cost-effective, health approach."
"People suffering from addiction are more effectively treated with health care services than with criminal punishments," the bill reads. "A health care approach includes a health assessment to figure out the needs of people who are suffering from addiction, and it includes connecting them to the services they need."
MARIJUANA LEGALIZATION SUPPORTERS TOUT ECONOMIC BENEFITS IN NEW VOTER PITCH
Instead of treating drug users as criminals, Oregon will now offer them addiction services funded by marijuana tax revenue, which is more than $100 million a year in the state.
Only small amounts of drugs are decriminalized, such as less than 1 gram of heroin or MDMA; 2 grams of cocaine or methamphetamine; 12 grams of psilocybin mushrooms; and 40 doses of LSD, oxycodone or methadone.
Criminal penalties for possession of these amounts are replaced with a fine of up to $100, which can be waived if the user is evaluated at Addiction Recovery Centers.
Crimes that are associated with drug use, such as manufacturing drugs, selling drugs and driving under the influence, are still criminal offenses.
More than 100 organizations endorsed the measure, including the Oregon Chapter of the American College of Physicians, Oregon Nurses Association, Oregon School Psychologists' Association, Oregon Academy of Family Physicians, the ACLU and others.
There was also a fair amount of opposition to the measure, with two dozen district attorneys in the state saying the measure “recklessly decriminalizes possession of the most dangerous types of drugs (and) will lead to an increase in acceptability of dangerous drugs.”
Multiple countries in Europe, including Portugal, the Netherlands, and Switzerland, have decriminalized hard drugs without rampant negative effects.
Portugal decriminalized all drugs in 2001, which did not lead to an increase in drug use, but did result in a dramatic reduction of pathologies associated with drug use, such as sexually transmitted diseases and overdose deaths, according to a 2009 Cato Institue study.
A 2015 European Drug Report also found that Portugal's drug overdose death rate is five times lower than the European Union average.

The COVID “CARES Act” bailout money is being doled out to Oregon strippers, hookers, and lap dancers. And you thought there might be waste, fraud, and abuse in the system.
Oregon, which may have the nation’s most elastic free speech code, announced that strippers and other “sex workers” are eligible for COVID relief funds because they have nowhere else to turn and are falling through the cracks in the pandemic.
The PDX Stripper Strike, a chapter of the Portland-based Haymarket [Stripper] Pole Collective has been granted $600,000.00 in taxpayer money to give out to black, indigenous, and transgender “sex workers.”
George Soros’s Open Society Foundation, which, besides agitating for legalizing all drugs in Oregon, wants to legalize all sex work. It defines “sex workers” as:
[A]dults who receive money or goods in exchange for consensual sexual services or erotic performances, either regularly or occasionally.
The term “sex worker” recognizes that sex work is work. Prostitution, on the other hand, has connotations of criminality and immorality. Many people who sell sexual services prefer the term “sex worker” and find “prostitute” demeaning and stigmatizing, which contributes to their exclusion from health, legal, and social services.
Please note where your tax dollars will go in Oregon. In addition to helping to pay rent and food bills, the Oregon Health Authority also wants you to know that tax dollars will go toward several important priorities, among them, “professional development” for hookers and strippers.
We have no idea what “professional development” is either.
The PDX Stripper Strike founder, Cat Hollis, told KOIN 6 News that the need is great.
[Sex workers] are suffering right now, and they don’t have anywhere to turn. We’re providing educational grants, professional development grants, and direct aid—rent support, food, and hygiene supplies—to sex workers most impacted by prejudice and COVID. Organizations like ours are the only things keeping sex workers from falling through the cracks.
Donations for the Oregon sex worker relief are also being taken under the auspices of the Young Woman’s Christian Association, also known as the YWCA.

The fact that Biden did not refer to jihad violence specifically was significant. On October 15, Biden released a video message to Muslim Advocates, the association of Muslim lawyers that bears the primary responsibility for demanding, back in 2010, that the Obama administration remove all mention of Islam and jihad from counterterror training and refer to an undefined “extremism” rather than to jihad terrorism. Obama, of course, immediately complied, despite the fact that this would hamstring the ability of law enforcement and intelligence agencies to understand, and defeat, jihadists. The Democratic Party in general, and much of the Republican Party, is committed to the idea that there is no Islamic terror threat, that to speak of such a thing is “Islamophobic,” and that counterterror efforts must be directed against a vaguely-defined “extremism.” Meanwhile, Leftist leaders ever more routinely refer to foes of jihad violence and Sharia oppression as “extremists,” and even simply to all those who oppose the Leftist agenda. The implications are obvious, and ominous.

The Daily Caller News Foundation reports that a cybersecurity expert has authenticated the email that implicates then-Vice President Joe Biden in his son’s shady business dealings in Ukraine.
Rudy Giuliani, a former New York mayor and former federal prosecutor, gave the DCNF a copy of the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop. The news website then gave the founder of Errata Security, Robert Graham, a copy of the so-called “smoking gun” email and all the metadata associated with it. Errata is the same company used by The Washington Post, Wired, and other publications.
The April 17, 2015, email between Hunter Biden and an advisor to Burisma, Vadym Pozharskiy, verified that Joe Biden had personal knowledge of his son’s business dealings with the Burisma advisor. This contradicted Biden’s protestations on the campaign trail. At the time, the then-vice president was Obama’s “point man” on Ukraine. The email thanked Hunter Biden for the personal meeting with his dad and getting to spend “some time together.”
“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent some time together. It’s really an honor and pleasure.”
Pozharskiy ended the email by asking to get together for coffee.
Burisma is the energy company that hired the younger Biden to be a member of the board of directors, where he earned a reported $50,000 to $83,000 a month for what appears to have been a no-show job. Graham says that his examination of the document shows that it was an authentic email between the two.
Graham previously told the DCNF that [an email] sent from Gmail, such as Pozharski’s message to Hunter Biden, can be “absolutely verified beyond a shadow of a doubt” by testing its contents against the unique DKIM signature found in its metadata.
Graham used the DKIM signature within the email to verify with a private key on Google’s servers that the sender, recipient, subject, date and body of the message that the DCNF obtained from Giuliani were unchanged from when the email was originally sent in April 2015.
Graham said the only way the email could have been faked is if someone hacked into Google’s servers, found the private key and used it to reverse engineer the email’s DKIM signature.
The DCNF asked Graham to verify the authenticity of the email because of the news media’s and social media sites’ refusal to report on the story of Biden the Elder’s alleged slippery dealings while he was the vice president. The New York Post, which broke the story, has been blocked or muted on social media accounts.
Twitter, which allowed dissemination of the Russian/Hillary Clinton fake Steele dossier and other anti-Trump stories, claims unconvincingly that the unclear provenance of the documents was why it was blocking the story on its platform. This authentication should put to rest Twitter chief Jack Dorsey’s concerns. It’s certainly more authentication than the fake Steele dossier ever got from the American media.
The Biden family has not disputed that the laptop is Hunter Biden’s.
According to Tony Bobulinski, another business associate of Hunter Biden’s, Joe Biden was always included in the payoff for the business deals as long as there was “plausible deniability.” His dealings with the Biden family occurred in 2017 when Joe Biden had left public service and was considering a run for the presidency.
Rudy Giuliani says that in exploiting the information on the legally obtained laptop, that he’s spotted evidence of several federal crimes, including money laundering and racketeering. He cites himself as an expert on the statute since he was among the first to use the RICO statutes on the mob. On Thursday, the DOJ announced it had an open money-laundering investigation into Hunter Biden.

If your only source of news is CNN, the Washington Post, or the New York Times, you can be forgiven for not knowing that Tony Bobulinski, the man who says Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden was neck deep in his son’s global business empire, sat for an hour-long interview with Fox News’s Tucker Carlson.
The former Navy lieutenant’s surname does not appear on the home pages of those news outlets. Yet last night, he detailed his activities with the Biden Boys that prove Biden senior lied when he said he knew nothing of Hunter Biden’s foreign business.
In fact, at Hunter Biden’s behest, Bobulinski met Joe Biden in Los Angeles in 2017. It was the “The Big Guy’s” introduction to the Bobulinksi, who would handle the family’s Asian venture.
Met With Joe Biden
Bobulinski didn’t reveal much that was new. But he did provide compelling details for the broader outline he sketched last week, when he confirmed the authenticity of e-mails published in the New York Post. One of those e-mails describes Joe Biden as the “Big Guy” in a major deal.
The China story begins in 2015 when British businessman James Gilliar invited Bobulinski to join a big deal, Bobulinski said. Also involved was Rob Walker, a former principal in Rosemont Seneca, the investment firm involved in the Biden-Burisma influence-peddling scheme in Ukraine.
The deal involved CEFC China Energy and the Bidens: Jim, Hunter, and, we now know, then-Vice President Joe Biden.
“It was never about Hunter Biden or Jim Biden,” Bobulinski said. “It was about the family name, the Biden legacy.”
Bobulinski also described a meeting with Joe Biden in Los Angeles in May 2017.
“I met with Hunter Biden multiple times at the Chateau Marmont and Rob Walker, and the discussion was they wanted me to sit down with their father, just to meet him and, at a high level, discuss the Biden family and how they approach things.”
Walker, Bobulinski said, was a “proxy” for the Bidens, but that aside, Bobulinski described his meeting with Sleepy Joe:
The former vice president was flying in, and we were to meet at the Beverly Hilton; the Milken Conference was going on, obviously one of the top three conferences in the world for anybody that’s a global investor or developing different humanitarian causes and a variety of things….
They wanted to coordinate me meeting with Joe.
And so it was set up for the night of May 2nd at The Beverly Hilton. I first met with Hunter Biden and Jim Biden and just had a light discussion where they briefed me that, listen, my dad’s on the way, and you know we won’t go into too much detail on the business front, but we’ll just spend time talking at a high level about you, your background, the Biden family, and then you know he’s got to get some rest because he’s speaking at the conference in the morning.
Hunter Biden and his uncle, Jim Biden, were showing Bobulinski “the strength of the Biden family to get me more engaged” and become the head of the Biden-China operation. That was called SinoHawk.
Asked Bobulinski, “Why at 10:38 on the night of May 2nd would Joe Biden take time out of his schedule to sit down with me in a dark bar at The Beverly Hilton, sort of positioned behind a column so people couldn’t see us, to have a discussion about his family and my family and business at a very high level where Jim Biden sat and Hunter Biden participated in?”
Answer: To tell the former vice president “what I was doing with his family’s name and the Chinese CEFC.”
That meeting, Bobulinski told Carlson, is how the public can know Biden lied when he said he knew nothing of his son’s remarkably successful business ventures in the energy field.
“That’s a blatant lie,” Bobulinski said of Biden’s pleading ignorance:
When he states that, that is a blatant lie. Obviously the world’s aware that I attended the debate last Thursday, and in that debate he made a specific statement around questions around this from the president, and I’ll be honest with you; I almost stood up and screamed liar and walked out, because I was shocked that after four days or five days that they prepped for this, that the Biden family is taking that position to the world.
Biden has not denied meeting with Bobulinski.
The Conversation
As for the meeting details, Bobulinski was “sitting with Jim Biden and Hunter Biden” when “Joe came through the lobby with his security and Hunter basically said, ‘hey, give me a second, I’ll go over and — give me 10 minutes to brief my dad and read him in on things.’”
Bobulinski said it was “crystal clear” that Hunter told his father about the big deal with China.
“Joe asked me to talk about my background, my family,” Bobulinski told Carlson. “He thanked me for my service. I’m obviously very proud of that, proud of my brother’s service and my grandfather’s service.”
Biden discussed his own family, but like a Mafia Don, was careful not to discuss the details of the business:
We didn’t go into too much detail on business, because prior to Joe showing up Hunter and Jim had coached me, listen, we won’t go into too much detail here, so just a high-level discussion and meeting. So it’s not like I was drilling down with Joe about cap tables and details….
I didn’t request to meet with Joe; they requested that I meet with Joe. And you know he’s putting his — and Hunter says this in writing. It was referenced multiple times, they were putting their entire family legacy on the line.
They knew exactly what they were doing. They were dealing with a Chinese-owned enterprise.
As for the “Big Guy” e-mail itself, “I one thousand percent sit here and know that the ‘big guy’ is referencing Joe Biden. That’s crystal clear to me because I lived it. I met with the former vice president in person multiple times.”
At one meeting, Bobulinski asked Jim Biden whether he was concerned the China venture would jeopardize Joe Biden’s future as a presidential candidate. “And I just can almost picture his face, where he sort of chuckles and says, you know, plausible deniability,” Bobulinski told Carlson.
Why He Talked
Bobulinski came forward because leftist Representative Adam Schiff, orchestrator of the bogus impeachment of President Trump, smeared him with the claim the e-mails were “Russian disinformation.”
“I called Rob Walker and I told him that if that statement isn’t retracted by Congressman Schiff by midnight on Sunday, that I was going on record and I was disclosing all the facts to the American government, to the American citizens, and the world.”
Joe Biden should retract, too. He peddled the same debunked conspiracy theory on 60 Minutes.
The leftist mainstream media do not believe the Bobulinski interview is worthy of coverage.

Former Biden family business associate Tony Bobulinski appeared on Tucker Carlson’s show on the Fox News Channel Tuesday night. The former U.S. Navy nuclear technology officer explained in detail how he became involved with the Biden family and the nature of the deals they have been engaged in primarily through Hunter Biden, Joe’s son.
Bobulinski made it clear that he had no desire to appear on national television for any reason, and certainly not in a moment of controversy. He said his motivation is that the American people must be informed about the Biden family’s questionable business relationships with CEFC and Burisma, the Chinese and Ukrainian energy companies, respectively, that Hunter Biden received millions of dollars from despite having no experience in the energy field.
One of Bobulinski’s more explosive comments was that the Chinese government directly loaned the Biden family $5 million, interest-free. This makes the Biden family “compromised,” in his opinion, meaning they cannot be trusted with sensitive roles or information due to the control others may exert over them using some leverage or advantage they have obtained. Joe Biden is, of course, running for president of the United States.
To them, it was always the Biden family. Wasn’t Hunter Biden, Jim Biden, it was the Biden family and led and operated by Joe Biden and in that document that you guys have, and I think has been provided to the world, the Chinese reference that because of their trust in the Biden family, that they were excited about moving forward and in that document, they reference loaning $5 million to the family, that is, the Biden family, and notice they didn’t say we are loaning that money to Tony, we are loaning that money to Bob Walker and not a document generated by me, but documented and generated that they are loaning that money the Biden family.
Bobulinski also stated that the email referring to “the Chairman” is referring to Joe Biden. That email says Hunter Biden consults with and seeks the sign-off of his “chairman” on his international deals, in direct conflict with Joe Biden’s claim to know nothing of his son’s business.
Bobulinski stated that Joe Biden’s claim of knowing nothing about Hunter’s business arrangements is a “blatant” lie.
After Bobulinski detailed the Biden family’s complex business associations with international energy firms, Carlson pressed him to describe what qualifications the Bidens bring to the table that put them in a position to even be part of such deals.
CARLSON: “So I just want you to assess once more, is there anything about Hunter Biden’s personal experience, personal qualifications that would justify him doing a deal in Kazakhstan?”
BOBULINSKI: “Absolutely nothing. The only thing that he had was the Biden family name and the fact that his father at one point obviously was a sitting vice president and potentially would run as a future president.”
Bobulinski told Carlson his motivation to speak stems from the fact that Democrats, including Rep. Adam Schiff, have smeared him as engaging in “Russian disinformation.” Bobulinski noted his own military service and the multiple high-level security clearances he held while in the military, and the fact that military service runs in his family, saying he found the accusation “disgusting.” He told Carlson he spoke with Biden family representative Rob Walker before going public and asked him to get the Democrats to cease smearing him and to retract their statements. When they refused, he felt he had no choice but to go public. He said it is his “patriotic duty” to speak out.
On Carlson’s show, Bobulinski effectively destroyed the “Russian disinformation” smear the Bidens and the Democrats as a party have leveled against him.
Since speaking out and providing first-person accounts and hard evidence of the Biden family’s questionable deals, which the Bidens have not directly addressed or refuted, Bobulinski says he has received death threats and is no longer staying at his home. He is now protected by former Navy SEALs.

“That’s one of the things that you’ve reported on that these Chinese companies needed, right? They wanted the influence of Joe Biden so that they could get approval to acquire companies. This is what Donald Trump has been trying to put an end to, China coming into the U.S., buying up Silicon Valley and forcing the transfer of technology, giving the Chinese Communist Party a leg up on American technology.”
Schweizer replied that Hunter Biden played a crucial role in helping at least one Chinese firm acquire an American technology company.
“You’re exactly right, Maria, and this is a big part, I think, of the missed story,” he said. “This is not just a story about Hunter Biden and the family getting wealthy. It’s about Hunter Biden participating in Chinese efforts to acquire western technology. In particular, for example, there’s a company called Henniges out of Michigan that produces dual-use technologies that have both military and civilian application, and they are anti-vibration technologies.
“Hunter Biden’s Chinese-funded investment firm partnered with AVIC, which is the largest military contractor in China, and they, together, acquired Henniges, this dual-use technology company in Michigan. It has clear military application.”
The Bidens, however, are not alone in their efforts to empower foreign actors at the expense of their nation. Officials of the Obama State Department were all in and even celebrated the above-described acquisition when successfully completed.
As Schweizer noted:
That deal had to be approved by CFIUS. We know in the emails we’ve now obtained that they were involved in getting approval meaning Hunter Biden’s firm. We now know that once it was approved, they actually had a celebration of this technology transfer at the U.S. embassy with Chinese executives, with the participation of Hunter Biden’s partners, and it was a celebration, and the man that was there — Ambassador Max Baucus, former Senator from Montana — is a long time Biden family friend. So let’s be clear this is not just about the Biden family becoming wealthy from these foreign partners. It’s about the Biden family participating in the transfer of U.S. technologies to China and getting paid for participating in that.
Hunter Biden’s suspicious international business ventures have long been a cause for concern given his father’s public-service career. Those concerns have now come to a boiling point due to recent revelations related to a laptop allegedly owned by the younger Biden on which e-mails were discovered that appeared to indicate that Joe Biden knew of and participated in his son’s influence-peddling abroad.
In addition, various sources who have reviewed the computer confirm that it contains pictures of underage girls. One America News, for example, viewed the hard drive of Hunter Biden’s laptop and said there were images of minors on it.
Content from the laptop was first publicized by the New York Post, which received it from Trump attorney and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
Giuliani received the hard drive from the owner of a computer repair shop who said Hunter Biden abandoned it there.
Aside from photos of underage girls, Giuliani said, the hard drive contained another damning file. Hunter Biden texted his father to say he was accused of “sexually inappropriate” behavior with a 14-year-old girl.
Representative Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) said his staff reviewed and independently authenticated the purported e-mails from Hunter Biden’s laptop and called them “as real as real can be.”
The Trump administration has made taking on China one of its signature foreign policy stances. But under a Biden presidency, the United States would become little more than a satellite for the red giant.
Who’s going to protect the children from the Bidens?

The Hunter Biden laptop at the center of the political scandal had a sticker on it with the name of the Beau Biden Foundation. The sticker has been widely reported, but not its full name.
The full name of the foundation named after Joe Biden’s son and Hunter Biden’s brother is the Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children. It’s both tragic and disgusting then that Rudy Giuliani has alleged that the laptop contained material involving underage girls.
It’s unclear if the Hunter Biden laptop actually belonged to the Beau Biden Foundation, but the The Mac Shop, at the center of the story, is in Wilmington, as is the Beau Biden Foundation. It’s a short drive down route 202 from the physical address of the foundation at the University of Delaware Law School to the Trolley Square address of the shop where the laptop ended up.
Earlier this year, the Beau Biden Foundation was one of the beneficiaries of grants from the Delaware COVID-19 Strategic Response Fund. The Biden foundation had received a $22,000 grant to provide "virtual training" to protect children from abuse. That is the sort of thing that the foundation, co-chaired by Hunter Biden and other Biden family members, does.
The Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children claims that its mission is protecting children from child abuse, especially over the internet. It runs workshops, distributes ebooks, and offers training sessions to prevent children from being groomed by abusers online.
It’s deeply troubling then that Hunter Biden had apparently been accused of doing just that.
In one of the messages allegedly exchanged between Joe Biden and his son, the Democrat presidential candidate asks his son, “This is [redacted 14-year-old girl] right.”
“She told my therapist that I was sexually inappropriate with [redacted girl] when she says that I facetime naked with her and the reason I can’t have her out to see me is because I’ll walk around naked smoking crack talking [redacted] girls on face time,” Hunter replied.
Meanwhile the Beau Biden Foundation was offering lessons on how to spot online predators.
Some have speculated that this refers to Hallie Biden's daughter. Hallie Biden, a fellow co-chair of the foundation, was also Beau's widow and had been in a relationship with Hunter. If so this would have been a devastating indictment of the foundation’s leadership which was charging $3,000 for lessons on preventing online child abuse while its board members were involved in it.
“As adults, we have a legal and moral obligation to stand up and speak out for children who are being abused.These children cannot speak for themselves,” Beau Biden once allegedly said.
The quote decorates much of the Beau Biden Foundation’s material.
Perhaps Beau would have wanted someone to speak out if his daughter were endangered.
If Hunter Biden was privately being accused of creating “a very unsafe environment for the kids” and of exposing himself to an underage girl, this should have been made public to warn others, instead of concealing the information for years until the laptop with its Beau Biden Foundation sticker, featuring an angel’s wing (t-shirts with the logo are available for $20 bucks), went public.
The Beau Biden Foundation offers "youth-serving organizations" a $3,000 "Shield of Protection" program which claims to train staff how to be "Stewards of Children®", stop grooming, as well as "Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse." The latter, a $500 workshop, deals with, among other things, mandatory reporting statutes. Were the allegations against Beau ever reported?
If the allegations are true, then the Beau Biden Foundation leaders needed that training.
It might have been a better investment of their time than the foundation's annual Child Protection Classic golf game at the Wilmington Country Club for only $650 per golfer.
Playing golf doesn’t stop child abuse. Reporting child abusers and locking them up does.
A scandal affecting the Beau Biden Foundation doesn’t just stop there.
Beyond the various Biden family members, the foundation's board also included Tony Allen, the president of Delaware State University, a former Biden speechwriter and special assistant, as well as a member of Biden's Transition Team.
Also on the board is former FBI director Louis Freeh who had also been recruited by Hunter Biden to work on the case of a Romanian businessman convicted of fraud, while Joe Biden was pressuring the Romanian government to fight “corruption”. Biden’s former staffer had been appointed as ambassador and Beau had cut the ribbon for the new embassy.
Joshua Alcorn, the Chief Operating Officer at the Beau Biden Foundation, had been a senior adviser for Draft Biden, and had worked on Biden's previous presidential campaign.
The Beau Biden Foundation, like everything involving the Biden family, is a snapshot of Bidenworld: the political and personal associations mixing together in inseparable ways.
And that may have made the alleged misconduct by Hunter Biden impossible to police.
Beau was the "good son". The elder son who was being groomed to carry on the Biden political clan's fortunes. At the Democratic National Convention, after Obama had picked his father as his second, it was Beau who introduced him. A year earlier, Beau had become Delaware's Attorney General, and held the position for 8 years.
Delaware's legal community is littered with his associates.
When Giuliani turned over the laptop to Delaware authorities, the office of Delaware Attorney General Kathy Jennings quickly announced that it was passing it on to the FBI.
Jennings had worked under Beau Biden and is campaigning for Joe Biden, had posted, "I’ve known Joe, Jill, and the Biden family for most of my life."
Patricia Lewis, the Executive Director of the Beau Biden Foundation, had been a Deputy Attorney General until she retired the same year that Beau Biden did.
Delaware is a small state and its political class is a good deal smaller. How much did the board members of the Beau Biden Foundation know about what the laptop might contain? Were any of them aware that even while the foundation was soliciting and obtaining coronavirus grant funds to protect children from online abuse, its co-chair may have been accused of abuse?
Like so many questions about the Bidens, they will neither be asked nor answered.
Meanwhile, even while a laptop from its co-chair containing alleged photos of underage girls with its sticker on it was submitted to the authorities, the Beau Biden Foundation goes on promising to protect children. But who’s going to protect the children from the Bidens?

In the first entry from the diary, dated January 25, 2019, the author wrote about her hopes for the future. “I am also trying to sort out my life – what is it that I want & need,” she wrote, “Focused on myself this time around but like a kid with Aspergers [sic] unsettled in the change!”
“I obviously don’t know what the future holds but I also don’t know where I’ll be – but I would like to remain sober – although getting high – like an Aspergers kid!”
In an entry on page 3, dated January 26, 2019, the author described her recent drug abuse as “a relapse that maybe I needed.”
She also noted that a person named Lisa told her that the relapse was “‘just part of your journey,'” and the author agreed with this sentiment.
On the next page of the diary is an undated series of goals to accomplish by January of 2020. Writing in January of 2019, in one year the author hoped to have “been sober from C + hard for a year,” be gainfully employed, and be divorced from her husband, among other goals.
The next 64 pages detail the author’s time at a rehabilitation facility, mostly relating to romantic partners she met while in recovery.
However, after leaving the facility, it unfortunately did not take long for the author to experience another relapse.
A diary entry dated March 16, 2019 begins, “I relapsed. F**king again. Insanity is the definition. Always hoping it will be different & it never is. Stuck in this cycle of “f**k my face, repeat.”
The next several pages detail her disappointment at relapsing, and details that her parents, who our source has identified as Joe and Jill Biden, and new boyfriend she met in the Florida facility, were both supportive.
“The difference this time around was that I told Elizabeth, Mom, & Dad this morning. Mom & Dad worried but incredibly supportive,” she wrote. “E has also been so supportive. He asked if he could come & stay with me for the next few days – timing is off & not right but a sweet gesture.”
Unfortunately, it seems this recovery too was short lived. After several days in late March and early April with no entries, the April 7, 2019 is a cryptic entry wherein the author simply wrote “I’m pretty sure I’m going to make it.”
The next entry, dated April 8, 2019, reveals that the author had “been 4 days without one & 3 days without the other.”
Again tragically, the next entry does not reflect recovery.
Incorrectly dated to July 28, 2019, but likely actually written on or around May 28 or June 28, 2019, the entry seems to reveal that the author spent the last several months abusing drugs.
“OK baby – time to buck up,” it begins. “I am calling in all the troops and hunker down for 3 days.”
“I am fully ready, geared up, and in shape to take this battle on full throttle,” the author wrote. “You have no choice. You are going to start working the program – following all recommendations to a T.”
An entry on the next page seems to suggest the author spent at least a few days without abusing substances, and suggests the previous entry was written in May or June.
In the next few entries, the author repeatedly states her hopes for her life and lists the many tragic consequences of drug abuse, particularly the abuse of cocaine.
“Tomorrow’s accessibility + setup allows for me to partake but at what cost to me? What does it do for you? You end up with the following,” wrote the author.
“Red, crusted & f**ked-up nose, tired lethargic, moody, not thinking clearly, unmotivated & sad, isolated/shame.”
Ashley Biden’s brother, Hunter, was infamously ejected from the Navy due to crack cocaine abuse, and a photograph of Hunter Biden with a crack pipe in his mouth was recently published by the New York Post.
Unfortunately, the author soon seemed to relapse again. On page 87, in an entry dated July 30, 2019, the author wrote “Today is the day – 101 – that’s my plan today.”
“Yesterday it was an overwhelming urge in my body,” she wrote. “What I realize is that access to any of it – touching the emotions – ignights the fire,” she added. “So – it’s the only way to get rid of all contacts.”
In one particularly heart wrenching, stream of conscious entry that is undated, the author reveals that she has been lying to her family about drug abuse and addiction since she was 13-years-old.
“Starting lying about addiction since age 13,” the author wrote. “Lied to: Mom, Dad, Howard, kids/entire family.” Howard is the name of Ashley Biden’s husband.
This latest dedication to recovery seems to have lasted until around August 1, when an entry reveals the author apparently relapsed again, even as she prepared to leave Florida to work for Joe Biden’s presidential campaign in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
“Love Miami but think it’s time to get back home & work on campaign. Headquarters in Philadelphia,” she wrote, before eventually continuing on to the topic of addiction. “It’s about the predictability of addiction. Craving, wanting, needing, having to have – this is all very normal & part of the disease. The only way to arrest this salvation is to sustain & by sustaining over time, that feeling is put into remission.”
Unfortunately, perhaps reeling from the stress of moving to Philadelphia and working for the Biden campaign, the author reveals that she used again on in the next diary entry, dated August 4, 2019.
“And again. It’s like nothing I’ve ever seen before. The hard hardness is on another level,” she wrote. “Is this really going to be it? Because you can’t afford to continue on. Your looks & health are at risk. It only gets worse.”
This guilt, again, did not last, as an entry on August 12, 2019, seems to suggest the author used again.
“Really. That was it! It’s been a wave of emotions – up’s and downs.”
In the next entry, dated to August 14, 2019, the author wrote “It’s when I get overwhelmed – I tend to want to ‘escape’ &/or shut down. The feeling just crept up and made me want to ‘run’ & smoke.”
This, again, did not last, and it seemed another visit to a rehabilitation facility would become necessary. In a diary entry dated to September 3, 2019, the author wrote “This will ruin your entire life.”
In an entry dated September 4, 2019, the author revealed that it was her second day at another facility.
“Second day – now on unit. All the women are lovely & staff has been great.”
The author then wrote about the then-upcoming presidential debate, and wrote about the guilt she felt about “what I put/stress I just put my dad through.”
“The idea of being 100% sober is appealing to me but foreign. My life sober – what does that look like?”
The next several entries reveal that the author intended to “discontinue” the diary after they were released from the rehabilitation facility.
At one point in the diary, as National File reported, the author speculated that childhood sexual abuse was the reason for her increased sex drive and desire to abuse drugs:
“Was I molested. I think so – I can’t remember specifics but I do remember trauma,” wrote the author, before listing a series of potential incidents, one of which may have included Ashley Biden’s cousin Caroline Biden, as the author says she remembers “being somewhat sexualized” alongside a person named “Caroline.”
The author then wrote that she remembers “showers with my dad” that were “probably not appropriate.”
National File has a complete copy of the diary that our source has identified as belonging to Ashley Biden. Our source, a whistleblower at another media organization, has a recording of Ashley Biden confirming the diary was written by her. Additionally, our whistleblower employed a handwriting analyst who confirmed the writing to be authentic.

In a chart created on page 90 of the diary, the author creates a list of people who she resents in one column then addresses the reason for her resentment in the next.
According to the chart, the author resents “Dad,” identified by our whsitleblower as Joe Biden, because of his money and “control.”
The chart also reveals she resents “Hunter,” the name of Ashley Biden’s brother and Joe’s son, because of “drugs + family,” and “Howard,” the name of Ashley’s husband, because of her inability to “be ‘normal.'”
In another entry previously published by National File, the author seems to accuse her father of emotionally manipulating her by crying on the phone while feigning sympathy for her battle with drug addiction in an attempt to cow her into behaving better as he continued his presidential campaign.
On page 83, in an entry dated July 22, 2019, the author wrote that she received a phone call from her father, Joe Biden according to our source, who cried on the phone while expressing his worry for her in the days leading up to July 30-31 Democratic Primary Debate.
“My dad cried on the phone saying he has the debate in a week and ‘Now has to worry about [the author],’” she wrote. “And he cried. Maybe he knows what he is doing and it’s worked but my feelings of guilt often are overwhelming.”
The diary also reveals a potentially unhealthy relationship between Ashley and Joe. At one point, the author claims that her mother is emotionally unavailable, but her father is not, which led her to believe she could only receive love from men.
The author also claims she was “hypersexualized” as a child, and included having more than one “probably not appropriate” showers with her father while a child as an example of such experiences.
The diary also offers insight into the Joe Biden’s decision to run for president. In a diary entry dated March 8, 2019, the author writes that “It’s a lot with me moving and Dad potentially running.”
In a subsequent entry dated four days later on March 12, 2019, the author wrote, “So… we are running. Announcement will be in April or early May. It is all super anxiety producing but I just have to take it one day at a time.” Joe Biden announced his run for president on April 25, 2019.
The New York Post has published a series of emails that suggest Joe Biden, as the patriarch of the Biden family, ultimately receives a large amount of money from his son, Hunter Biden, as a result of business dealings that benefit the Biden family.

In the diary, which our source says belongs to the former vice president’s daughter, the author writes of her struggle with drug abuse. Ashley Biden’s struggle with drugs was widely publicized in 2009.
According to our source, the diary also details Ashley Biden’s unhealthy relationship with sex, and the “probably not appropriate” showers she shared as a young girl with her father, Joe Biden.
After declaring she was “here for sexual trauma” in the previous entry, on page 23 of the diary, dated January 30, 2019, the author explores the topic of sexual abuse and how it may have led to her overactive sex drive. “I’ve had one of my hardest days – my sex drive is out of f**king control. Like literally, I am in heat,” wrote the author.
“I know it’s not the healthiest way to deal with things but @ least it’s better than drugs,” she wrote, adding that she thought she needed “sex to feel good.”
The author then explored why she felt this need to have sex, saying she believes she was molested as a child.
“Was I molested. I think so – I can’t remember specifics but I do remember trauma,” wrote the author, before listing a series of potential incidents, one of which may have included Ashley Biden’s cousin Caroline Biden, as the author says she remembers “being somewhat sexualized” alongside a person named “Caroline.”
The author then wrote that she remembers “showers with my dad” that were “probably not appropriate.”

National File obtained this document from a whistleblower who was concerned the media organization that employs him would not publish this potential critical story in the final 10 days before the 2020 presidential election. National File’s whistleblower also has a recording of Ashley Biden admitting the diary is hers and employed a handwriting expert who verified the pages were all written by Ashley. National File has in its possession a recording of this whistleblower detailing the work his media outlet did in preparation of releasing these documents. In the recording, the whistleblower explains that the media organization he works for chose not to release the documents after receiving pressure from a competing media organization.
This diary surfaces after Hunter Biden, the son of the Democrat presidential candidate, Joe Biden, has been exposed as having “underage obsessions” and corrupt business dealings as evidenced by emails and images provided by the New York Post and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
National File, as the media organization that published reports about the Pelosi family’s Ukraine dealings and the potentially illegal affairs of Democrat Senate candidate Cal Cunningham, believes the public has a right to read these entries that were obtained for National File by Patrick Howley, the reporter who broke the Veterans Affairs scandal, and the Ralph Northam racist yearbook photo.
Last year Ashley Biden was profiled by The List, which claimed that her “transformation is turning heads.” She was credited as working as a “social worker, activist, and entrepreneur.”

The former vice president and current Democratic candidate for the White House also raised two sons, Beau Biden and Hunter Biden, from his first marriage to Neilia Hunter. Sadly, Beau died of a brain tumor in 2015, when he was just 46 years old. Joe and Neilia also welcomed a daughter, Naomi Biden, but she was killed, along with Neilia, in a tragic car accident in 1972.
Ashley — who graduated from Tulane University and received a Master's of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania — has been by her father's side throughout his entire political journey, but she's also pursued many impressive projects on her own. Ashley is a social worker, activist, and entrepreneur with a passion for changing the world for the better. One of her biggest goals is helping eradicate poverty. She is also the executive director of the Delaware Center for Justice, a nonprofit organization that facilitates "fresh starts for victims of crime, youth at risk, and the incarcerated," according to its website.

Did Joe Biden give his daughter's career an unfair boost?
Ashely Biden has a proven track record as a tour de force in the nonprofit world, but questions have emerged about Joe Biden potentially stacking the deck in his daughter's favor. In September 2014, the Delaware Center for Justice received a $166,000 federal grant from the U.S. Department of Justice. According to the Washington Examiner, Ashley had been involved with the nonprofit for about a year, but two months after the grant was awarded, the organization appointed her its executive director.
"The timing of the grant approval and his daughter's ascent to leadership in the organization that received it makes it necessary for the agencies involved to investigate whether Biden improperly used his influence to steer this grant to his daughter," said Tom Anderson, director of the National Legal and Policy Center's Government Integrity Project.
Prior to her post at the Delaware Center for Justice, Ashley was a career development and education liaison in the education office for the Delaware Department of Services for Children, Youth and Their Families. There, she helped develop programs for children in the juvenile-justice, foster-care, and mental-health systems, according to The New York Times.

Politics isn't the only thing in Ashley Biden's life. Joe Biden's daughter is also a happily married woman. In 2012, she said "I do" to Dr. Howard David Krein an otolaryngologist and plastic surgeon at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in Philadelphia (via The New York Times). Dr. Krein, like his wife, is incredibly qualified in his field, and he also hails from a family of equally career-driven professionals. According to the Times, his mother is a physician assistant in cardiology at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, N.J., and his father is a retired director of marketing for Aetna U.S. Healthcare out of Mount Laurel, N.J.
Ashley and Howard don't have kids at this time, but they certainly have their hands full with their charitable endeavors. In his spare time, he reportedly volunteers for the International Hospital for Children, performing operations on kids in need. According to ABC News, "When he was presented with a case too complex for the local mission in Belize, he arranged at no cost for the life saving removal of a tumor" in the States. "He also volunteers his services to Faces of Honor, which operates on soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, and provides assistance to victims of domestic violence."

Emails appear to confirm Joe Biden met with top execs at Ukraine energy firm.

A laptop seized by the FBI contains a photo of Hunter Biden sleeping with a crack pipe in his mouth.

The photo, along with others, surfaced when a computer repairman looked at the contents of the laptop believed to have belonged to Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden’s son, and subsequently turned it over to the FBI.

“The computer was dropped off at a repair shop in Biden’s home state of Delaware in April 2019, according to the store’s owner,” reports the New York Post.

In addition to incriminating photos, the laptop also contains a video showing Hunter committing sex acts while smoking crack.

Other material extracted from the computer includes a raunchy, 12-minute video that appears to show Hunter, who’s admitted struggling with addiction problems, smoking crack while engaged in a sex act with an unidentified woman, as well as numerous other sexually explicit images.
Discussing major national security concerns regarding the laptop’s contents, Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani speculated foreign nations could have blackmail dirt on the current Democrat presidential candidate.
“I have to tell you, and it’s very sensitive, the stuff we’re in possession of contains 1,000, maybe more, photographs that are highly, highly – anywhere from inappropriate to illegal – and have to be possessed by the Chinese government,” he stated. “If the Chinese government doesn’t have these photographs, they’re not really a rival.”
Emails found in the laptop also appear to confirm that, despite numerous denials, Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden did indeed meet a top exec of the Ukraine gas firm Burisma, where his son served on the board of directors, eight months prior to pressuring Ukraine government officials to fire a prosecutor looking into corruption at the company.
“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure,” reads the April 17, 2015, email written by Burisma board adviser Vadym Pozharskyi.
According to the Post, “An earlier email from May 2014 also shows Pozharskyi, reportedly Burisma’s No. 3 exec, asking Hunter for “advice on how you could use your influence” on the company’s behalf.”
Biden denied in numerous interviews he had any knowledge of his son’s overseas business dealings, and at one point berated a supporter at one of his rallies who asked about the controversy.
In February, things turned heated when NBC’s Savannah Guthrie asked Biden if it was “wrong for [Hunter] to take that position, knowing that it was really because that company wanted access to you.”
“Well, that’s not true. You’re saying things you do not know what you’re talking about,” Biden snapped her.
During an Iowa town hall event, Biden also got testy with a man asking about Biden selling access to the presidency, calling out the man’s physical health and challenging him to a push-up contest.

Gov. Tom Wolf on Tuesday proposed legalizing marijuana for recreational use by Pennsylvania adults, arguing that legislative leaders should take a serious look at the issue this fall given the serious hit the COVID-19 pandemic has taken on state revenues and the need to complete the state’s 2020-21 budget.
“This might be one way to plug a hole,” Wolf said.
And the leaders of the Republican-controlled legislature said, in essence: “Next issue?”
There may come a day when an issue that, over time - like gay marriage or gun control measures - has begun to find significant support in public opinion surveys finds a match for that support in the state Capitol. But, in the view of senior GOP legislative leaders and staffers, that day is not yet at hand.
“The speaker’s priorities are responsibly finishing the (2020-21 state) budget, doing what we need to do to continue the education of our children and reopening the economy so that our people can get back to work safely,” said Jake Smeltz, chief of staff to Speaker of the House Bryan Cutler, R-Lancaster County.
“One priority he does not have is to make sure that people can get high legally.”
Others even expressed indignation that Wolf would put marijuana legalization on the table right now, accusing him of political grandstanding as the campaign season starts to take center stage.
“It appears as if the governor is starting the fall campaign now after it’s become clear that legislative Democrats are feeling the pressure of his decisions to implement some of the most restrictive economic shutdown measures in the country and create an autocracy,” Senate Majority Leader Jake Corman, R-Centre County, said in a statement.
“The governor is clearly not interested in governing. If he were, he would have reached out to legislative leaders at some point during the summer to discuss a fall agenda. Instead, he sends out a political document and takes partisan shots at elected officials.”
Corman has long been an outspoken opponent of expanding the state’s current medical marijuana program to include recreational use for those 21 and older, and Senate GOP sources noted there is not a vocal champion for the issue now in the majority caucus in the way that former Sen. Mike Folmer, R-Lebanon, led the charge for medical marijuana several years ago.
For marijuana advocates, however, Wolf’s call did open up new possibilities for the political future.
Nationally, 11 states and Washington, D.C. have legalized marijuana for adult use to date, though the federal government still considers it to be a Schedule 1 substance on par with heroin and LSD.
Wolf, a Democrat, signalled his personal willingness to support marijuana legalization after the completion of his Lt. Gov. John Fetterman’s “listening tour” on the issue last year. But Tuesday was the first time that the governor specifically listed a proposal as part of his legislative agenda.
Public opinion polling in Pennsylvania across has shown support for marijuana legalization growing from under 40 percent in 2014, when Wolf was a first-time candidate for governor, to consistently scoring 56 to 59 percent support over the last three years, while opposition to it has hovered in the mid-30s.
And other elected officials, such as state Auditor General Eugene DePasquale, have championed the issue for several years. DePasquale’s office authored a report in 2018 that suggested the state could generate about $580 million annually in tax revenues, assuming a hefty 35 percent tax rate.
If the Democrats win a majority in the either the House or the Senate this fall, the cause might get even more of a boost. Republicans now hold a working 29-21 edge in the Senate, including Sen. John Yudichak, a one-time Democrat-turned-Independent who began caucusing with Senate Republicans last year; and a 109-93 majority in the House.
“Legalizing adult-use cannabis has widespread, but not universal, support among House Democrats,” House Democratic spokesman Bill Patton said Tuesday after Wolf’s announcement. “With the state facing a massive budget shortfall approaching $5 billion our leaders believe this is a revenue-producing option that ought to be considered now. And if not now, then early in 2021 when there is a House Democratic majority.”
But with Corman and Cutler personally opposed and largely reluctant to bring bills up for votes that don’t have majority support within their respective caucuses, and marijuana supporters facing inevitable clashes over what the proposed retail market would look like, fairness to the medical marijuana vendors who have already paid for their licenses, and where to set the tax rate, Wolf’s fresh push is unlikely to meet with near-term success even at a time when the state is running major revenue deficits.
“That’s a major policy change whether you’re for it or against it,” House Majority Leader Kerry Benninghoff, R-Centre County, told PennLive in a telephone interview Tuesday, “and it shouldn’t be driven just on a need for money.”
Wolf offered his broad marijuana pitch - Press Secretary Lyndsay Kensinger said specifics should be released within the next few weeks - as part of a fall legislative agenda that otherwise focuses on helping businesses and residents recover from the pandemic-induced recession and tweaking state election laws to clean-up first-time issues with the state’s optional mail-in voting program.
“We need to provide relief for families. We need to provide relief for small businesses,” Wolf said in a morning appearance at a day care outside Middletown. “House and Senate Democrats have been fighting for these things for years, and certainly since the beginning of the pandemic. But they’ve been stopped at every turn by the Republicans who have been focused on ignoring the public health crisis or actually trashing me.
“That has to stop, We’ve got to get back to doing things that actually matter to people.”
Drawing largely from $1 billion in unspent federal funds allocated to Pennsylvania in the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, Wolf proposed allocating:
Wolf also voiced support Tuesday for government reform efforts including a ban on gifts to all state legislative and executive branch workers, and comprehensive campaign finance reform.
All the legislative caucuses have in the past signaled their interest in working with the governor to ease the pain that the pandemic-related shutdowns inflicted on the state’s economy. Pennsylvania’s unemployment rate stood at 13.7 percent in July, the fifth-highest state jobless rate in the nation, and pandemic response is what the state’s remaining CARES Act funds are supposed to be used for.
Benninghoff said GOP lawmakers have always been interested in re-igniting the state’s economy from the effects of a shutdown that many of his members feel was broader and longer than it had to be, and he said they have a lot of ideas to put on the table, too. “That laundry list of the governor’s is not the only things that are needed in the state,” Benninghoff said.
Wolf said any revenues raised from marijuana legalization would be used both to top off the available CARES Act funding to support his relief package in the short term, and longer-term to support “restorative justice” programs aimed at helping to repair damage that advocates say the generations of marijuana prosecutions have down to those arrested and the neighborhood where those arrests have been concentrated.
On Tuesday, however, legislative leaders made clear that’s one priority that’s not shared.
Under the current schedule, the House is expected to return to voting session on Sept. 1, to begin 12 days of scheduled session time through the fall. The Senate is set to return Sept. 8. It also has 12 voting days scheduled.
