On the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II in Europe, the paramount question becomes: What happened to the American people?
Is this the nation whose soldiers braved withering fire wading ashore on Omaha Beach, that produced the Battling Bastards of Bastogne — whose Marines raised the flag over Mt. Suribachi on Iwo Jima after a month of brutal fighting?
What happened to the American spirit? We’ve gone from the nation of rugged individualism and the pioneer spirit to shutdowns, social distancing, and face masks. Citizens who are treated like children meekly obey.
The battle cry of America the Wuss (“People are dying”) has drowned out “Give me liberty or give me death!”
Where totalitarians have failed, a triumvirate of the political left, fake news and medical bureaucrats have succeeded in subjugating the American people and ruining the U.S. economy.
Many Americans want to live in a bubble, avoiding contact with anything that might threaten their comfortable existence. Their fear makes them easy to stampede.
In reality, safety is an illusion. Step out your front door and you risk your life. As of May 3, 67,595 had died from the coronavirus in the United States.
In 2018, 647,457 Americans died of heart disease, 599,108 of cancer, 169,936 from accidents of all kinds (including roughly 40,000 highway fatalities), 55,672 from influenza and pneumonia and 47,173 from suicide.
To stay safe, don’t smoke or drink, don’t get too excited, get in a car or climb a ladder, stay indoors, lose weight, avoid human contact during flu season and don’t get depressed. Try not to think about Fingers Biden as president.
Despite the initial hype (first one million would die, then 500,000, then less then 100,000), the coronavirus turns out not to be more contagious or lethal than a really bad flu. The probability of dying from COVID-19 in the United States is 1.5 out of 10,000. Not bad odds.
In Sweden without a draconian shutdown regime, the probability of death from the coronavirus rises slightly to 2.0 out of 10,000. In the United States, the risk for healthy individuals under 55 is probably 1.5 in 100,000. COVID-19 isn’t the first time a flock of squawking Chicken Littles, feathers flying in all directions, has tried to terrify us with dire warnings of impending doom, just the most successful.
Overpopulation – In “The Population Bomb” (1969) Paul Ehrlich predicted worldwide starvation in the 1970s, due to population growth outstripping food production and the depletion of natural resources. If you missed that, don’t feel bad. Everyone else did too. New methods of cultivation increased the yield per acre. Greater demand led to new discoveries of oil and other resources.
Nuclear War – In 1947, the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists created the Doomsday Clock, which was supposed to show how close we were to planetary annihilation, due to stockpiles of nuclear weapons among other factors. When the clock started ticking, it was seven minutes to midnight – or the big bang. In January 2020, with Trump in office, we were just 100 seconds away from Armageddon. Ban the bomb! Trust Xi Jinping, Kim Jong Un, and the leaders of Iran.
Man-Made Climate Change – Due to burning fossil fuels, the ozone layer is shrinking. Soon, sea-levels will rise to unimagined heights, polar bears on surfboards wearing Hawaiian shirts will glide by the island of Manhattan (if it isn’t under water) and they’ll be growing tropical fruit in Antarctica. Al Gore made a fortune with “An Inconvenient Truth.” Little Greta Thunberg mesmerized the U.N. General Assembly whining that grownups “stole my future.” And Commissar Ocasio Cortez devised a Green New Deal to deindustrialize America. Almost the entire Democratic Party is now onboard. Man-made climate change is based largely on those infallible computer models.
And now we have a lockdown going into its sixth week, so Dr. Fauci can do nightly briefings and Democratic governors can be little Caesars. And when it’s all over, they’ll present themselves as saviors. If It weren’t for social distancing and the lockdown, you’d all be dead, the Michigan Dominatrix and New York’s Il Duce will tell voters. If you object, they’ll label you anti-science.
Add to the current death toll civil liberties, representative government and all of the economic gains since the end of the last recession.
Earlier generations of Americans wouldn’t have stood for it. Tar and feathers would been in short supply.
We cheerfully comply. According to an April 29 NPR/Marist poll, 65% say they’re opposed to letting Americans get back to work without more testing. Presumably, that includes pets.
The Corono-crats won’t let you go to church, won’t let Dads play catch with their sons in parks, and won’t let healthy men and women go to work or dine in restaurants. It makes us wear face masks to buy groceries. It forces some independent businessmen to witness the deaths of what it took a lifetime to build.
How did we get here? Was it the feminization of America, whereby we’ve been taught to spurn what used to be called “manly virtues”? In an era of transgendered rights, micro-aggressions and drag-queen story hours, manhood is out of fashion.
People are no longer even ashamed to admit they’re cowards. The Land of the Free depends on the brave. That’s why we’re losing more territory every day.
But there are still some patriots left. You can see them in the growing number of protests and in the City of Stillwater, Oklahoma which amended a rule requiring the use of face masks in restaurants and stores (which are still open) after “employees have been threatened with physical violence and showered with verbal abuse,” in the words of the city manager.
THE CORONAVIRUS CRISIS: A TEST OF CHRISTIAN CHARACTER

The coronavirus pandemic is the greatest world crisis since World War II. As it turns out, the world probably shouldn’t have been closed down, but that is largely in hindsight. The way that the events occurred was like the falling of dominoes. There was no stopping it, and it’s all water under the bridge. Great damage has been done to the world economy, and the repercussions cannot yet be determined by anyone. The draconian power of government over the details of people’s lives has moved to a new and frightful level even in the “free nations.” There is talk of civil wars, rioting, famine, the breakdown of society. It looks like a trial run for the antichrist, and surely the devil would put his man on the throne of this world today if there were not one who withholds him. “For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way” (2 Th. 2:7). There is a pandemic of highly infectious fear, doubt, uncertainty, confusion, frustration, anger. For “old-fashioned” Americans, there is the added frustration of seeing a beloved country ruined, constitutional liberties thrown to the ground and trampled in the mire, socialists on the rampage, demagoguery on every hand, good sense thrown to the wind, propagandists in the seat of the news media, haters of the founding Fathers in high places. So where is my heart in all of this? What has this great crisis shown? As it has tested my metal, what has been revealed? Do I really, truly believe that it is God who changes the times and that my times are in His hand? “And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings” (Da. 2:21). “But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God. My times are in thy hand…” (Ps. 31:14-15). Am I acting like this is true, or am I acting like my times are in the hands of the government, the World Health Organization, Bill Gates, China, some prominent medical authority, the banking system, society, or perhaps the devil? Is my heart focused in heavenly places or on this world? “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory” (Col. 3:1-4). Do I really have the mindset of a pilgrim whose citizenship is in heaven and who is merely journeying through this world as in a strange land? Can I truly sing from the heart, “This world is not my home, I’m just passing through?” Or have I sunk deep roots in this world and do I love this world like Lot’s wife loved Sodom? What flag are I flying the highest? The flag of heaven, or the American or the British or the European Union or some other flag of this world? Do I glory in tribulation as God tells me to do, understanding its purpose and benefit in God’s will? “And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us” (Ro. 5:3-5). “Glory”in Romans 5:3 is the Greek kauchaomai, which is translated “rejoice” Romans 5:2. It has the idea of being confident in, boasting in, being sure of. It is the opposite of being discouraged by, frustrated with, overwhelmed by, cast down by, defeated by, angry at. Am I trusting God’s Word and believing His promises in a real, practical way? Do I really believe that all things work together for good for those who love God (Ro. 8:28), that my times are in His hand (Ps. 31:15), that the Lord is my Shepherd and I shall not want (Ps. 23:1), that surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life (Ps. 23:6), that the righteous is not forsaken nor does his seed beg bread (Ps. 37:25), that God will never leave me nor forsake me (Heb. 13:5)? Is this my testimony? Is this what others see and hear of me? Or am I doubting, fearing, complaining, confused, frustrated, acting just the unsaved around me? Am I truly seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, or do other things have first place? Can I truly say with Job, “Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD. … What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?” (Job 1:21; 2:10)? Can I truly say with Habakkuk, “Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation” (Hab. 3:17-18)? Does this crisis show that I truly do NOT love this world, that I am NOT conformed to this world, that I am NOT the friend of this world? Am I anxious about the closing down of vain things like professional sports? Am I worried about what might happen to my worldly plans? “And be not conformed to this world” (Ro. 12:2). “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world” (1 Jo. 2:15-17). “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God” (Jas. 4:4). What does the way I am spending my time during lockdown show about the character of my Christian life? Have I used the time to immerse myself in prayer and the Word of God and ministry. Have I found special Bible projects to do? Have I spent the time encouraging others in the Word of God and helping them think right about this crisis? Or have I been spiritually depressed, idle, playing, wasting time on social media for no good purpose? “Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord” (Ro. 12:11).

We Hear You: House Actions Help Guide State Toward Safe Reopening
With Pennsylvania employers, workers and families continuing to struggle in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, the House was back in session this week continuing our work to reopen businesses safely so people can return to work and support their families.
From the moment the governor abruptly announced his unconstitutional statewide business closure order in mid-March, the House has been fighting to bring openness, transparency and logic to the process.
We have taken action on bills to reopen construction (which is slated to open today), golf courses (also slated to reopen today, along with privately owned campgrounds, marinas and guided fishing trips), as well as automobile dealers, smaller retail stores, real estate, garden centers, pet groomers and more.
In fact, while we were debating legislation in the House to safely reopen the real estate industry, the Wolf administration issued new guidance to allow certain transactions to proceed.
Thank you for sharing your questions and concerns with us; we hear you, and it is making a difference.
Other bills advanced by the House this week:
• To help our communities and first responders, House Bill 2413 would invest up to $40 million in grants for fire and emergency medical services companies.
• To help save taxpayer dollars, House Bill 2418 would require a comprehensive review of all Commonwealth debt to identify opportunities to take advantage of refinancing at lower interest rates.
• House Bill 2392 would require the Independent Fiscal Office to include critical risk factors in its assessment of the Commonwealth’s fiscal condition to help lawmakers better plan and budget within our means.
• To address regulations, House Bill 2415 would require the Office of the Governor to notify legislative leaders in writing by electronic means when a specific statute or regulation is suspended, modified or waived under the authority of the emergency order.
• To ensure intergovernmental cooperation throughout the disaster and recovery period, House Bill 2419 would establish the COVID-19 inter-branch Cost and Recovery Task Force.
None of this could have been achieved without the people making their voices heard.
While this is great news, there are more sectors of PA’s economy that are ready to open safely and follow CDC guidelines. It is a matter of survival for more businesses to reopen now!

The world is being rocked by COVID-19 and the Bible predicted much of what we are seeing.
The entire world has been rocked by the COVID-19 or coronavirus global pandemic. With hundreds of thousands dead and millions more infected, this hyper-infectious virus has uprooted the economy, overwhelmed the medical care system and forced global quarantine. Governments have used unprecedented spending and authority to try and ensure the peace and safety of their citizens, yet the death tolls continue to climb and paranoia grips many. Will counties institute martial law? Is it time to start tracking who receives their mandatory vaccinations and who does not? The world is hoping and waiting for a solution – any solution – to return life to normalcy and remove this threat. For Christians it is a time to remember that we already have the solution and that everything taking place is just a small preview of life in the Great Tribulation.
WARS, PLAGUES AND PESTILENCE – THE SEALS ARE BROKEN
The globalist Council On Foreign Relations is encouraging the world to see itself at war.
“We are at war with a virus that threatens to tear us apart,” World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told world leaders Thursday, in a special virtual summit on the COVID-19 pandemic. (source).
“We’re in a battle, right, but this is about a war,” Cuomo said at a press conference Thursday.

“We are at war with a virus” – United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres urged the world’s nations to unite in their battle against the COVID-19 virus on Thursday (March 19). (source).
In the Beginning And End Rapture Series, we detailed that in the timing of Revelation, Jesus Christ received the scroll that unlocks that events of the end times at His return to Heaven from Earth 2,000 years ago:
“And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.” – Revelation 5:1-7
Jesus Christ took this book of prophecy from the hand of God the Father after His resurrection and return to Heaven. Before His victory over death and the grave: “no man was found worthy to open and to read the book” but upon being “slain” and rising from the grave, Jesus Christ completed the mission of His First Coming to Earth – winning salvation for all those who believed in Him and “prevailing” over Satan. It is then that The Lord takes the book and starts to open the seals. This took place 2,000 years ago.
The judgments of the seals run until the start of the Day Of The Lord – also known as “The Great Tribulation” or “the 7-year Tribulation.” But what is significant for this article is that Jesus warned that they were just previews of the greater judgments on Earth to come:
“And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.” – Mark 13:7
“But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.” – Luke 21:9
Jesus emphasized that the many wars and rumors of war were not the end times but precursors of the Day of The Lord. And certainly, in the era of this global pandemic, leaders across the world are beating the drums of war – declaring the fight to stop the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus nothing short of World War III:
To be at war is to be in active or vigorous conflict. According to world leaders, we are in active or vigorous conflict with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). President Trump has declared the virus “the invisible enemy” and likened the response to World War II, saying he considers himself a “wartime president.” In the last Democratic presidential debate, former vice president Joe Biden proclaimed, “We’re at war with a virus.” Overseas, French President Emmanuel Macron says “we are at war” with COVID-19. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, also referring to COVID-19 as a “deadly enemy,” noted that they must act like a “wartime government … to win the fight.” (source).
THE COVID-19 ECONOMY – EMPTY SHELVES AND MASS UNEMPLOYMENT
Basic food items have become scarce and basic cleaning items are now luxury items.
“And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.” – Revelation 6:5-6
In a moment, food items that millions of people take for granted – eggs, milk, bread and toilet paper, for example – have become scarce invaluable commodities. Spray disinfectant is a near impossible item to find on any shelf in the United States. Meats are gone. Grocery store shelves are empty. The third seal of Revelation 6, above, involves a spirit of economic upheaval.
An 18th century commentary on this passage from Jonathan Gill summed up the severity of the phrase “a measure of wheat for a penny”:
“…this phrase expresses such a scarcity, as that a man’s daily wages would be but just enough to buy himself bread, without any thing to eat with it; and when he would have nothing left for clothes, and other things, nor anything for his wife and children..” (source).
Lines for food banks stretch miles as thousands of families hit by the massive wave of layoffs are suddenly unable to afford food.
The judgment of the third seal is a financial one, with families having to work a full day just to earn enough for bread for one person. Due to the shelter-in-place orders given from governments worldwide to curb the spread of COVID-19, the global economy has been ravaged. Hundreds of thousands of business have been forced to shutter and go into financial ruin since they are forbidden from operating. Restaurants, retailers and small business owners have been devastated from the government-mandated closings. Millions have lost their jobs and seen their savings evaporate. The stock markets have plummeted. Lines for food banks – devoted to sharing free food with those in need – span for miles at some locations. Basic food items have truly taken on the cost and investment of luxury goods.
Lines that stretch blocks just to enter a grocery store have become the norm in New York City.
Interestingly, wine sales have seen a significant spike since the pandemic started as many people are stockpiling alcohol to “endure” the time being home for the most part with their families and loved ones. And the oil industry is set to recover from the initial financial damage of the pandemic as they are managing production to raise prices. As the Bible stated, the oil and wine are not being harmed by COVID-19.
UNPRECEDENTED DEATH TOLLS – THE FOURTH SEAL
Brazil has resorted to using mass graves to cope with the massive numbers of deaths that overwhelmed funeral homes.
And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.” – Revelation 6:7-8
The fourth seal of Revelation 6 unleashes the spirit of “Death and Hell.” And this spirit is authorized to take a fourth part of the earth and punish it with death by violence, famine and “the beasts of the earth.” One of the key theories in the origin of the coronavirus was that it came from bats. Some have attributed to the “wet market” where live and newly-killed animals are sold, including bats. Others have pointed to the recently released State Department documents from 2018 that expressed concern about the Wuhan bio-lab that was researching viruses in bats (a lab whose funding was supported by NIH head and coronvirus czar Anthony Fauci).
China’s wet markets have now reopened selling bats, rats, dogs and other Biblically-forbidden animals, to eat.
When God gave the the law to the Israelites, He specifically banned the eating of bats:
“And the Lord spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth…And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray… And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.” – Leviticus 11:1-2, 13; 19
And now the “beasts of the earth” are even bringing plagues upon humanity.
SMALL AND GREAT, RICH AND POOR – ALL PEOPLE HAVE BEEN AFFECTED
Many of the super-wealthy have been forced to retreat to luxury bunkers.
What has differentiated COVID-19 from any other pandemic of recent memory was that it has affected people of all socioeconomic strata all over the globe. For the first time in decades, Hollywood movies have been forced to stop production. Famous celebrities, accustomed to jet-setting around the globe, dining at their favorite establishments and bouncing between one of their many mansions, are now restricted to their homes lest they catch the plague. And for many of society’s elite, the answer has been to enter a “luxury bunker” – purchasing a deluxe underground shelter to protect them from the pandemic.
In the end times, this will also take place. The Bible prophesies that when the judgments of the Day Of The Lord truly begin (at the opening of the 6th seal), the wealthy will indeed run for cover into their underground shelters:
“And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” – Revelation 6:12-17
USHERING IN A NEW WORLD ORDER? – GOVERNMENT CONTROL IN THE AGE OF CORONAVIRUS
In the wake of the Coronavirus, military checkpoints have become the norm in nations.
With the unprecedented nature of the pandemic has also come a wave of unprecedented exercises of authority by governments over the world. Just a brief survey of some of the measures being implemented worldwide to track, control and stop the spread of COVID-19 reveals some stunning intrusions into personal liberty and individual rights:
The Australia government enacted power to install a surveillance device in the homes of those citizens who have been ordered to self-isolate to ensure they remain home or even compel them to wear a monitoring device. (source).
Argentina’s Ministry of Health has built a mandatory app for those entering the country to keep installed for 14 days, which requires users to give access to location data. It’s not clear if the government is actively tracking people with that location data, but the province of Santa Fe is allegedly forcing those who have violated quarantine to download an app that specifically tracks their whereabouts.
Brazil’s government is tracing the daily activity of millions of citizens, by tapping into their cell phone data. Andre Ferraz, the CEO of the firm providing the technology for tracking stated: “The big difference that we have in relation to other location technologies, whether by GPS or cell phone, is precision. We were able to have visibility of certain behaviors that could not be captured by other technologies. For example: if a person leaves home, we can detect it almost in real time, in a few seconds.” (source).
Many countries are rolling out mobile phone apps to track the virus – which will soon become the norm in much of the world.
In Israel the government is using data from telecom providers to track the locations of millions of citizens in an attempt to find people diagnosed with the coronavirus and alert those with whom the infected person might have interacted. Those breaking quarantine are threatened with up to six months of imprisonment. (source).
Hong Kong is issuing electronic tracker wristbands to monitor the movement of those ordered into quarantine. (source).

MANDATORY VACCINES ON THE WAY? – THE PATH TO RETURN TO “NORMAL LIFE”
The media is already preparing society for the necessary steps to return to society.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute Of Health has been propelled to the position of being one of the most powerful people in the world as his nearly daily updates on media outlets provide “the official word” on the fate of the world in dealing with the pandemic. It is extremely likely he will be dubbed TIME Magazine’s “Person Of The Year”, receive a Nobel Prize and numerous other accolades. For the past decade he has served on the Leadership Board of a vaccine initiative sponsored by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. He has already walked back projections he made a week earlier. And he has made the statement that life will not return to normal until a vaccine arrives. Given the historic devastation COVID-19, all likelihood points to laws being put into place to require vaccination for a return to “normal participation” in society.
How easy would it now be to point to someone who does not want to take a vaccine as a “threat to society”? Or someone who is “endangering their children” because they have not signed up yet. Using mass transit, boarding airplanes and having a job in the workplace may all soon be predicated upon being “medically cleared.” And at the same time the COVId-19 coronavirus was starting to spread, researchers at MIT developed a system to inject an invisible dye into the skin that can store the vaccination record of a person and allow for quick verification via a mobile phone app:
“Along with the vaccine, a child would be injected with a bit of dye that is invisible to the naked eye but easily seen with a special cell-phone filter, combined with an app that shines near-infrared light onto the skin. The dye would be expected to last up to five years, according to tests on pig and rat skin and human skin in a dish. The system—which has not yet been tested in children—would provide quick and easy access to vaccination history, avoid the risk of clerical errors, and add little to the cost or risk of the procedure, according to the study, published Wednesday in Science Translational Medicine.” (source).
Many media outlets are openly calling for a New World Order.
With this system in place, there can be instant digital confirmation that a person is in compliance and permitted to participate in normal societal activity. The book of Revelation, although written 2,000 years ago, when such technology was not even fathomable, nonetheless predicted a system just like this being implemented by the Antichrist during the Great Tribulation:
“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” – Revelation 13:16-17.
Absent the Mark of The Beast, which is inserted into the right hand or forehead, the Bible prophesied a person would have no ability to buy or sell any item. And that this system would be implemented globally. Only in the past decade has such technology even made such a system possible and serves as striking evidence of the divine inspiration of Scripture and a chilling warning of what is to come.
IN ALL THESE THINGS – GOD IS ON THE THRONE
The pandemic quarantine is a great opportunity to get back into God’s Word.
“To whom will ye liken me, and make me equal, and compare me, that we may be like?… Remember this, and shew yourselves men: bring it again to mind, O ye transgressors. Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it. Hearken unto me, ye stouthearted, that are far from righteousness: I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry: and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory.” – Isaiah 46:5; 8-13
With the world in such upheaval, now is not the time for a Christian to be afraid. Now is a time to be all the more emboldened to share and preach what the Bible prophesied millennia ago. All of this was written. The world is indeed going to experience great tribulation and judgment before the final “Great Tribulation.” But all these things are just the final events before the greatest event to come – the return of Jesus Christ to Earth. If you are a Christian, pray for faith, strength and healing for this world. Pray for more people to wake up and realize that in times of true crisis, their money, occupation and vast possessions cannot save them. For all our technology, knowledge and pride humanity was humbled in a moment by a virus. But God, the Creator of all, is still in charge.
The Lord proclaimed that no other false god, demon or fallen angel is like Him. How? Because none of them can proclaim the course of human events from the beginning. God uses the numerous prophecies of the Bible to demonstrate His power. And if you are not a believer, understand that the what is taking place today was all predicted and literally being ripped from the headlines of Scripture. Do no waste time. Life is so precious and so incredibly short. Pray to God for the free forgiveness of your sin so your soul is saved, and you have eternity in Heaven. Jesus Christ said: “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” (Matthew 10:28). This world is being given a small preview of the judgment that is to come – do not it fall on deaf ears.
