No deal after 21 hours. JD Vance Says U.S.–Iran talks fail
After 21 hours of intense negotiations in Islamabad, U.S. Vice President JD Vance has confirmed that talks with Iran have ended without a deal. Despite “substantive discussions,” major disagreements remain—especially over Iran’s nuclear program, the Strait of Hormuz, and broader regional tensions. The U.S. has now presented what it calls its “final offer,” demanding a long-term commitment from Iran not to develop nuclear weapons. Iran, however, has not accepted these terms.
