Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom has continued to add fuel to the fire in Los Angeles’ chaotic protests by daring the Trump administration’s border czar Tom Homan to arrest him for failing to stop the violence in Los Angeles.
“Come after me. Arrest me. Let’s just get it over with, tough guy,” the defiant Newsom (D-Calif.) told NBC News on Sunday.
Gavin Newsom just dared Tom Homan to come arrest him for aiding and abetting illegals in the state of California.
"Get your hands off these poor people. They're just trying to live their lives… paying their taxes."
The challenge by Newsom comes after Homan had warned that the Golden State governor and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass could both be hit with federal charges for trying to prevent ICE raids throughout the city.
“I’ll say it about anybody,” Homan said in a weekend interview.
“You cross that line, it’s a felony to knowingly harbor and conceal an illegal alien. It’s a felony to impede law enforcement doing their job. “I’ll say it about anybody.”
In response to the chaos, President Donald Trump deployed 2,000 California National Guard troops to the city on Saturday evening as Los Angeles Police and ICE agents squared off with anti-ICE protesters for a third day.
The Democrat governor, who repeatedly said that the 47th president would only make it worse, threw fuel on the fire after accusing the administration of using federal power for their own political gain.
“He’s a tough guy. Why doesn’t he do that? He knows where to find me,” Newsom told NBC.
“But you know what? Get your hands off 4-year-old girls that are trying to get educated. Leave your hands off these poor people. They’re just trying to live their lives, man. Trying to live their lives and pay their taxes. Been here for 10 years. The fear, the horror.”
“The hell are they doing? These guys need to grow up. They need to stop, and we need to push back. And I’m sorry to be so clear, but that kind of bloviating is exhausting. So, Tom, arrest me. Let’s go,” he added.
Additionally, Homan accused Newsom of spreading anti-ICE rhetoric in the wake of the violent chaos.
“We’re arresting bad people. We’re enforcing laws and following up on a serious criminal investigation on cartel financing. So that’s exactly what ICE did. And ICE took a lot of bad people off the street that day,” he told Fox News’ “Fox & Friends.”
“We arrested a sexual predator, arrested gang members, arrested somebody that had an armed robbery conviction. So we made LA Safer.”
“The men and women of ICE, the men and women of the border control made LA safer that day, but you’re not hearing any of this. All you hear is a rhetoric about ICE being racist and ICE being Nazis and terrorists — and Governor Newsom feeds that,” he added.
Newsom stated that he will be filing a lawsuit against the Trump administration to stop the deployment of national guard troops.
“They had to coordinate with the governor of the state,” Newsom said.
“They never coordinated with the governor of the state.”
“This is about authoritarian tendencies. This is about command and control. This is about power. This is about ego,” he added.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Police Department has stated they are overwhelmed by the amount of protesters in the city.

Doomsayers cry recession. The data says something different. As the Trump budget advances through the Senate, critics are already sounding alarms over deficits and tax cuts. But Victor Davis Hanson says the numbers tell a more complicated—and possibly optimistic—story. Victor Davis Hanson analyzes why the Trump budget may be triggering a quiet economic reboot in this episode of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words.” “ The economy is doing very, very well. And a lot of it is the expectation of things that are in process. The $10 trillion of foreign investment. This extensions of the tax cuts. Incentives for investment, in the new budget. “ Especially with the economy, it’s being rebooted. It's being redirected in ways that economists are not even able to figure out. Because we haven't done this before. And the net result might be that we're going to make progress both in the expansion of the economy and through growth in federal revenues cut down these deficits.”
Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” isn’t what it seems. If you thought we were headed for fiscal responsibility, state sovereignty, and smaller government—you may want to sit down. In this episode, Patriot Nurse unpacks the truth behind the bill that's leaving even die-hard supporters stunned. What does it mean for your future, your finances, and your freedom?
The last two pro-Hamas terrorist attacks, the arson at Gov. Shapiro’s mansion and the murder of two people at the Capital Jewish Museum in D.C., were carried out by leftists. But actual Muslim terrorists weren’t going to be left out.
Shortly after the media pushed the Hamas hoax of an Israeli massacre at an aid distribution site, and on the eve of a Jewish holiday, Mohammed Soliman attacked a group of people holding a ‘Run for Their Lives’ walk to bring attention to hostages held captive by Islamic terrorists.
Mohammed, who is reportedly an illegal alien from Egypt who overstayed his visa, threw Molotov cocktails at the walkers, burning a number of people. Six marchers between the ages of 67 and 88 years have been hospitalized with burns. Some of the injuries were reportedly horrific.
🚨 BREAKING: Jewish protestors have been set on fire in what is being reported as a terrorist attack in Boulder, Colorado.
The attack occurred at 13th and Pearl, with reports of several victims, including children, caused by the throwing of incendiary devices. WARNING – GRAPHIC pic.twitter.com/Ks1oqKspPC
“One elderly woman was so severely burned that her hair was charred and she wasn’t moving while others cared for her. Others were sitting/lying down in shock, skin melted off their legs with their skin even split open and bleeding in some areas.”
Ed Victor, who participated in the walk, said they’ve been holding these silent marches every week since Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023, terror attack to raise awareness for the hostages still in Gaza. They stop at the courthouse to sing songs, tell stories and read the names of the hostages each week. He said around 30 people were participating in Sunday’s walk.
“So we stood up, lined up in front of the old Boulder courthouse, and I was actually on the far west side. And there was somebody there that I didn’t even notice, although he was making a lot of noise, but I’m just focused on my job of being quiet and getting lined up. And, from my point of view, all of a sudden, I felt the heat. It was a Molotov cocktail equivalent, a gas bomb in a glass jar, thrown. Av [another marcher] saw it, a big flame as high as a tree, and all I saw was someone on fire,” said Victor.
Victor said they tried to put the fire out. As another marcher with medical experience stepped in to take care of her, Victor stayed with her husband to comfort him. He said volunteers also rushed in to help, bringing water.
But despite the horrific nature of this act, look for it to get far less media attention than the Burlington Islamophobia hoax.
Islamic terrorism is always with us. The particular vectors may change, but the underlying reality is that it’s cruel, vicious and evil. It derives its power from the conviction that Islam must be made superior over all other religions. Whether the targets are Jews, Christians, Hindus, or any other group, each attack is a horrifying testimony to the clash between Islam and civilization.
The longer this goes on, the worse it will get. Without immigration reform, the number of attacks will only increase.
FBI: Boulder attack was planned for a year, Soliman wanted to kill 'Zionist people'
The suspect in Sunday’s attack in Colorado told investigators he “wanted to kill all Zionist people” and had planned the attack for a year, according to an affidavit. If convicted on all 16 counts of attempted murder in the first degree, he could face 384 years in state prison, according to Boulder County District Attorney Michael Dougherty. Dr. Asaf Romirowsky, Director of Scholars for Peace in the Middle East, provides more insight.

Since President Donald Trump took back the White House, the price of eggs has dropped by just over 61%, according to the latest report.
A report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) revealed that large white shell eggs are $2.52 per dozen across the country. In comparison to January 21st, which would have cost a customer around $6.49 for the same purchase, according to Trading Economics.
Additionally, Trading Economics revealed that eggs were over $8 a dozen at the beginning of March this year.
“Shell egg demand posted a slight improvement headed into the Memorial Day weekend but remained well below average in a continuation of a trend that began during the sharp price increases in late winter,” the USDA’s Egg Markets Overview weekly publication said.
In April, a study conducted by Clarify Capital said over 30% of Americans had stopped buying eggs due to the outrageous cost.
At the time, prices were also hampered by extreme bird flu cases.
During that same month, Reuters reported that the U.S. increased imports of eggs from Brazil, South Korea and Turkey in an attempt to help increase supplies during the bird flu outbreak that killed almost 170 million chickens and other birds.
Since the outbreak began in 2022, bird flu has affected more than 166 million birds, including 127 million egg layers. The loss equals close to 11% of the five-year average annual inventory of 383 million hens since the outbreak started, according to Bernt Nelson, an economist with the American Farm Bureau Foundation.
The outbreak is still ongoing today, according to the USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS).
“To date, USDA APHIS has confirmed 43 outbreaks in layer flocks in 10 states (AZ, CA, IA, IN, MO, NC, OH, PA, SD, and WA),” the Egg Markets Overview said.

Smoke rises from the crater of the Etna volcano as it erupts, on Mount Etna near Catania on June 2, 2025. A huge plume of ash, gas and rock spewed forth on June 2, 2025, from Italy’s Mount Etna, Europe’s largest active volcano, after a portion of its southeastern crater likely collapsed, authorities said. The highest active volcano in Europe erupted on Monday, sending tourists on Italy’s Mount Etna into a frenzy as they ran for safety with smoke and ash rising miles into the air.
Massive clouds of smoke and ash covered the sky around Sicily after the famous volcano began to explode overnight, causing nearby homes to shake.
Mount Etna, Europe’s most active volcano, erupted in Sicily on Monday, sending a massive ash cloud into the sky, shaking homes, alarming tourists, and prompting a “code red” alert as volcanic debris rained down across the region.
The Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre Toulouse issued a “code red” Monday morning as volcanic ash began falling from the sky over the touristy area.
Additionally, the agency warned prior to the eruption that the volcano was experiencing “strong strombolian activity.”
Footage shared across social media showed visitors running down a path on the flank of the volcano when the lava first started to overflow.
According to the advisory center, ash plumes rose more than four miles into the sky.
According to Italy’s National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), the explosion happened due to part of the southeast crater collapsing, which caused hot lava flows.
This was also the 14th eruptive phase for the volcano based in Italy.
According to the INGV, the area of danger was limited to Etna’s summit, which was closed off to tourists as a precaution.
The president of Sicily, Renato Schifani, said it was “a phenomenon that we are following with extreme caution.”
Schifani also stated that the lava as of now “posed no danger to the population.”
However, tremors were still felt around the towns and villages that were near Mount Etna.
The nearby Catania airport raised their alert level due to the eruption, but no delays or interruptions were reported at the airport.
The volcano is almost 11,000 feet high and has a surface area of over 450 square miles, making it a popular tourist attraction.

Evil struck over the weekend in Boulder, Colorado. An illegal immigrant hurled firebombs at Jewish Americans, including a Holocaust survivor. How many more like him are here hiding in plain sight, Glenn Beck asks. And will Americans – and the world – finally wake up and realize the threats we now face?
Russian President Vladimir Putin is ramping up attacks on civilians, and Donald Trump just called him “crazy.” The Left is celebrating, claiming Trump has finally “seen the light.” But Victor Davis Hanson says not so fast. In this episode, Hanson explains what Trump is really signaling: that his strategy was always about making peace through strength — not appeasement. And now that Putin is throwing that opportunity away, the world sees who truly wants war. “ I think what Vladimir Putin thinks, that he's going to continue the war; continue the terror campaign; get greater concessions from the Europeans, the Americans, and the Ukrainians; and move the battle lines a little bit to the west. I think he's sorely mistaken. He's misreading Donald Trump. “If I was Vladimir Putin, I would cut a deal today. And then I would resume natural gas and oil shipments to Europe. I would open the economy back up. And I would tell the Russian people what you did. … And that's a lot better—it's not a good scenario, but it's a lot better than another Stalingrad or Verdun or Somme for the next two years for Russia.”
The House Oversight Committee has begun investigating the potential abuse of President Biden’s autopen during his administration. Rep. James Comer, who chairs the committee, joins Glenn Beck to reveal what’s to come, and it may involve subpoenas - and possibly consequences - for big names like former First Lady Jill Biden and Joe Biden’s former Chief of Staff, Ron Klain.
Look at some of the recent examples of what is factually accurate vs. what the media says: Trump pressed Cyril Ramaphosa on the “White Genocide” unfolding in his country = Trump ‘Ambushed’ South African President Cyril Ramaphosa in the oval office, pushes false claims. Two Israeli embassy employees were shot and killed by a pro-Palestine protester with ties to Left-wing groups = Amid Israeli’s ongoing war in Gaza, where thousands have perished, Elias Rodriguez, a Chicago native and activist, shot and killed two Israeli embassy employees. Over the past month, the corporate media, most namely CNN, NBC, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, have proven, yet again, that they are a ‘Pravda-like propaganda organ’ for Left-wing causes: “We know what you're doing. You're trying to gin up momentum, enthusiasm, for a Left-wing cause that 50% of the population just doesn't support," argues Victor Davis Hanson on this bonus edition of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words.”
