Never Forgive Democrats For the Lies They Told You And never trust them again.

I get it; politicians lie. That’s like saying beer drinkers burp or fish swim – it’s just how life is. But some lies are unforgivable, and the lies Democrats told last fall fall into that category.

Democrats, in and out of the media, not only swore that Joe Biden was “the best Biden ever,” they insisted that even suggesting anything to the contrary was ageism, outrageous, and heresy. They attacked you, us, for the simple act of noticing reality.

They denied that reality, insisted it wasn’t so, and attempted to destroy people for pointing it out. And they did it all with a smug sense of holier-than-thou-ism for the record books.

Now, they’re retroactively on board with all of it. All the monologues, tweets, op-eds…it’s like they never happened – the eternal sunshine of the spotless campaign.

In their new book “Fight: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House,” they recount last year’s events in a way that is both entertaining and like it’s from another planet. I remember the previous year vividly. And I bet you do, too.

No one from the outlets the two authors work for, let alone them, dared whisper what they’re now screaming from the mountaintops to sell books, not one of them. It takes a while to write a book, and the sources they used for this one are people they’ve known and talked to for years and years, which begs the question: when did they first start hearing about Biden’s slipping? Further, why didn’t they report it when they heard it? It sure as hell was long before now.

And the shows they go on to promote the book – especially Morning Joe – are all pretend curious about the “revelations” they helped perpetuate. If they’d had their way and gotten away with lying, the President of the United States may well be a dementia patient inflicting God knows what on the country.

The question of what they knew and when they knew it will never be answered because they won’t go near anyone who’d dare ask it. It's the same safe space that enveloped Joe Biden is where they live – the left takes care of their own, always. Who would ask them – any of them – why they protected Biden and for how long, Rachel Maddow? Wolf Blitzer? They were all in it, every last one of them.

These people attacked anyone who dared point out the obvious, and they did it with a sense of self-righteousness unrivaled in the annals of history. We were the problem; we were the liars. There were “deepfakes” and “cheap fakes,” things taken out of context to “make Joe look bad.”

When he tripped over a sandbag, it was something anyone would have done, not an old man not noticing a bag out in the open in broad daylight. Remember when Joe froze at the “Juneteenth celebration” at the White House? It was nothing, we were told, but now it was one of many such instances. The frozen moment at that Hollywood fundraiser, the one where Barack Obama had to grab his wrist and help him off stage – the one where the left really went all out on demanding that anyone who dared question Joe’s mental state was some sort of enemy of the state – is described as it really was: a problem for Democrats.

When nothing is left in it for them to cover up for their politicians, they will tell the truth…for money.

According to the book, Barack and Michelle Obama never liked Kamala Harris. Neither did Nancy Pelosi. Everyone was working behind the scenes to shove her out the window and pick someone else. None of them thought she could win. Yet, none of this was reported at the time. Not that it wasn’t known at the time; it just wasn’t reported. There’s a significant difference.

The people making the most money off the lies are the ones who perpetrated them the whole time. In an honest industry, these stories would’ve been told in real-time so the American people could’ve been informed and made decisions fully educated. Were they honest, they would’ve won awards for their journalism. But journalism is not an honest industry. They won’t win awards; they’ll just get big, fat checks, which almost anyone would take over a Lucite block with their name laser-etched.

Either way, never forget what they did, never ignore what they’re doing by pretending they’re honest now, and never forgive them for any of it. Most importantly, never trust them again. Book tours like these farewell tours should be made for their credibility and their careers.

House Republicans Approve Bill Requiring Proof Of Citizenship To Vote

For the second time, House Republicans have passed a bill that would require voters to show proof of citizenship in order to vote in federal elections. A previous attempt was blocked by the then-Democrat-led Senate.

The bill, titled the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, was passed in a 220-208 vote.

It is meant to prevent non-citizens from voting.

The vote included four Democrat representatives who sided with Republicans: Representatives Ed Case of Hawaii, Henry Cuellar of Texas, Jared Golden of Maine, and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez of Washington.

The bill requires applicants to present documentary proof of U.S. citizenship, such as a valid passport, a birth certificate, or other forms of identification that prove an individual is a U.S. citizen.

Republican Representative Chip Roy (R-Texas), who introduced the bill, said Thursday “there’s nothing controversial about saying that you should be able to ensure that only citizens vote.”

“There is nothing more sacred under the Constitution than ensuring that the people are able to have a voice in the election of the people that represent them in Washington and throughout the country,” Roy said.

“Once that is undermined, then people lose faith in the very institutions upon which this is built. This legislation is designed to restore that faith, to save our elections, to save election integrity.”

Meanwhile, Democrats have tried to argue that the bill will make it tougher for Americans to vote.

Rep. Joseph Morelle (D-N.Y.) claimed that senior citizens are especially unlikely to have the required documents, and that “even a military ID” would not qualify as acceptable documentation under the act.

“Republicans would force Americans into a paperwork nightmare, burying voter registration under a mountain of bureaucracy and red tape,” he said.

“Under the SAVE Act, most Americans would be unable to register to vote using their Real ID. Further, under the SAVE Act, nearly 70 million American women will be unable to register to vote using their birth certificate simply because they changed their name upon marriage,” he added.

“And the SAVE Act will also have a steep financial cost to American citizens, because, yes, the SAVE Act does allow Americans to use their passports to register to vote. But half of all Americans do not have a passport, and a passport costs $130.”

Last year, Republicans first introduced the bill, with Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) saying that while it’s time consuming and difficult to prove that illegal aliens are voting in U.S. elections, it’s something both parties “intuitively” know is happening.

Additionally, in many Democrat-led states, such as California, you’re generally not required to show any identification to vote.

“We all know, intuitively, that a lot of illegals are voting in federal elections. But it’s not been something that is easily provable. We don’t have that number. This legislation will allow us to do exactly that — it will prevent that from happening. And if someone tries to do it, it will now be unlawful within the states,” Johnson said last May.

After being previously blocked by the Democrat-controlled Senate, the bill may have a renewed chance of gaining approval this time around.

The bill should be received more favorably under the GOP majority, especially as it has been championed by President Donald Trump. However, it would still likely need to overcome a Democrat filibuster.

At least six people have been killed after a helicopter carrying a family, two adults and three children, who were reportedly from Spain, crashed into the Hudson river on Thursday afternoon — according to the Associated Press.

The sixth death was that of the helicopter pilot.

Officials with the New York City Police Department (NYPD) confirmed that a helicopter was in the river as of 3:40 p.m. local time.

“Due to a helicopter crash in the Hudson River in the vicinity of the West Side Highway and Spring Street, expect emergency vehicles and traffic delays in the surrounding areas,” according to a statement from the NYPD.

In addition to the Spanish family of five, the pilot’s body was also found inside.

Witnesses informed the press that they observed the helicopter “split in half” before it crashed near Pier 40. Additionally, the aircraft was reportedly emitting a distinct “thudding” noise prior to its descent.

“I heard a loud snap … I looked over … and I could see the helicopter falling on its side and splashing into the water,” an unnamed witness told ABC7. “I didn’t see anyone come out.”

Currently, it remains uncertain whether the helicopter was operated for tourism purposes or privately owned. The cause of the crash has yet to be determined, as investigations are still in their early stages.

Rescue and recovery operations are still ongoing.

Online videos showed the helicopter sinking into the river as emergency teams rushed to the scene.

The chopper appeared to be a “N216MH – a Bell 206L-4,” according to Flight Radar.

More than 32 people have been killed in helicopter crashes in New York City since 1977.

Trump Revives Effort To Make ‘Daylight Saving Time’ Permanent

Werner Stechbarth poses inmid his collection of clocks in his living room in Munich, southern Germany, on March 22, 2024. Some 366 clocks cover the walls in the living room of 76-year-old Werner Stechbarth's apartment in Munich, the haul from a life spent criss-crossing the globe. The early year move to daylight saving time is a busy period for the pensioner, who takes it upon himself to adjust every one of his timepieces. President Donald Trump revamped his push to make “Daylight Saving Time” permanent, amid efforts in Congress to give Americans an extra hour of sunlight from November to March.

“The House and Senate should push hard for more daylight at the end of the day. Very popular and, most importantly, no more changing of the clocks, a big inconvenience and, for our government, a VERY COSTLY EVENT!!!” the president declared Friday morning in a post on Truth Social.

During his presidential run last year, Trump endorsed the idea, but appeared to back away from his support in March — citing northern states’ concerns about children having to walk to school in the dark during the winter months.

In December, Trump said in a statement: “The Republican Party will use its best efforts to eliminate Daylight Saving Time, which has a small but strong constituency, but shouldn’t!”

Meanwhile, the majority of the United States observes the biannual time shift, adjusting clocks forward or backward by one hour. The transition, known as “springing forward,” marks the onset of Daylight Saving Time.

“The Republican Party will use its best efforts to eliminate Daylight Saving Time, which has a small but strong constituency, but shouldn’t! Daylight Saving Time is inconvenient, and very costly to our Nation,” Trump declared in a December post on Truth Social.

The president said last month that it was “hard to get excited” about the idea, since “it’s very much a 50/50 issue and it’s something I can do, but a lot of people like it one way, a lot of people like it the other way.”

“I assume people would like to have more light later,” Trump added at the time, “but some people want to have more light earlier because they don’t want to take their kids to school in the dark.”

In 2022, serious reform was initiated when a bill sponsored by then-Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), now Trump’s Secretary of State — unexpectedly passed the Senate unanimously before being stopped in the House.

How Trump Can Make the U.S. “Hugely Successful,” According to Famed Economist

President Trump suspended his global tariffs for 90 days, except for China. But is this strategy enough to win the trade war and fix the economy? Glenn speaks with renowned economist Richard Werner, who makes the case that Trump’s next move should take place here at home. It’s not enough, he argues, to pressure the big banks. He must also cut government red tape and help local banks flourish. Plus, Werner also argues that Trump is fighting a hidden enemy in Europe: the CIA.

VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: No Congress, No Coherence—The Left’s Post-Trump Identity Crisis

Democrats are experiencing an “intellectual poverty.” They have no power in the White House, in Congress, or the Supreme Court, so they’ve resorted to theatrics, street protests, viral stunts, and inflammatory rhetoric. Why aren't Democrats offering serious alternatives to Donald Trump's agenda? From trade deficits to foreign policy, Victor Davis Hanson points out that many on the Left once held views that mirrored Trump’s—yet now, they offer little more than resistance for resistance’s sake on today’s episode of “ Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words.” “ I see these people in their late 60s and early 70s, mostly white people, and they seem to have the same signs, the same agenda, and they leave at the same time. … And you were doing that when you were 18, 19, and 20, and you haven’t changed. You’ve learned nothing and forgotten nothing. “ And so, when they wonder why the Harvard/Harris Poll or other polls don’t show Trump dropping … they look for alternatives. They see nothing but street theater. Maybe they think that’s going to win them the midterms.”
