Glenn Beck’s Reaction to Trump’s REVOLUTIONARY Speech to Congress

In his first speech to Congress as the 47th president, Donald Trump made it clear that America is back! And the polls reflect that, with CBS News finding that 76% of respondents approved of Trump’s speech. Glenn and Stu discuss why this number may be so high: maybe more Republicans watched, or maybe it was just a great, optimistic speech. But many Democrats in Congress and the Legacy Media still deny that Americans gave Trump a mandate to restore America in the 2024 election. So, Glenn and Stu review the data. Plus, they highlight some other big moments during the speech, including Trump’s decision to list out the many, many crazy things that DOGE found our government is funding.

Glenn Beck & BlazeTV Hosts REACT to Trump’s Address to Congress

Donald Trump gave his Address to Congress in the Capitol Building, which lived up to the hype as he touted his accomplishments while also taking direct aim at Democrats for their opposition. Following the speech, BlazeTV hosts Glenn Beck, Liz Wheeler, Allie Beth Stuckey, Steve Deace, Stu Burguiere, Jill Savage and Matthew Peterson gave their instant reactions to the speech while highlighting their favorite moments from the event.

Gabbard: ‘Radical Islamist Terrorism’ is Biggest National Security Threat

Now comes the tough part.

In a sane political environment, this would have passed as a decidedly unremarkable, albeit not quite one-hundred-percent accurate, observation. The U.S. Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, recently warned that “radical Islamist terrorism” is the biggest national security threat the nation faces today.

Well, of course. The top terror groups worldwide are all Islamic. On September 11, 2001, Islamic jihadis carried out the largest-ever terror attack on American soil. Numerous other Islamic jihad attacks have taken place in the U.S., at Fort Hood, the Boston Marathon, San Bernardino, New Orleans, and numerous other places. The Biden regime caught numerous people on the terror watch list crossing into the U.S. from Mexico, and released at least 99 of them into the country. Gabbard was therefore making an entirely reasonable assessment.

Gabbard said: “We look at the past four years of open borders, where we’ve had tens of millions of people coming across our borders, many of whom we don’t know who they are or what their intentions are, and very specifically the threat of radical Islamist terrorism here within our country is higher than it’s ever been before, not only because of Biden’s open borders, but because of his and his administration’s fear of being called Islamophobes.”

For Gabbard to speak of “radical Islamist terrorism” was not quite accurate, as there is nothing “radical” about Islamic jihad violence. It is mainstream and deeply rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah. And “Islamist” is a phony word that corresponds to nothing in Islamic theology. It is just an attempt to distance Islam from the crimes done in its name and in accord with its teachings.

Nevertheless, her statement was a tremendous improvement over the Biden regime. FBI Director Christopher Wray testified before members of the Senate Judiciary Committee in March 2021, saying: “The top threat we face from [domestic violent extremists] continues to be those we identify as Racially or Ethnically Motivated Violent Extremists (RMVEs), specifically those who advocate for the superiority of the white race.”

Old Joe Biden then said it during his speech to a Joint Session of Congress in April 2021: “we won’t ignore what our own intelligence agencies have determined – the most lethal terrorist threat to the homeland today is from white supremacist terrorism.”

The following month, a revealing piece in Yahoo News by “journalist” Alexander Nazaryan stated that Biden’s desperately corrupt and partisan Attorney General Merrick Garland “told Congress on Wednesday that violence incited by white supremacists poses ‘the most dangerous threat to our democracy.’ That assertion reflects near-universal consensus among national security experts, including those who work for the Trump administration.”

In June 2021, Biden doubled down: “As I said in my address to the joint session of Congress: According to the intelligence community, terrorism from white supremacy is the most lethal threat to the homeland today. Not ISIS, not al Qaeda — white supremacists. That’s not me; that’s the intelligence community under both Trump and under my administration.”

The agenda of Old Joe Biden, Merrick Garland and their henchmen was obvious and insidious: they intended to find these white supremacist terrorists, and prosecute and destroy them. They had no anxiety about the prospect of not finding those white supremacists in sufficient numbers, because by “white supremacists” they meant law-abiding patriots who dissented from the left’s political agenda. The Garland “Justice” Department, which should be rebranded as the Partisan Vengeance Department, wasn’t content with persecuting Donald Trump. It also sicced the FBI on angry parents protesting at school board meetings, worked with Twitter (TWTR) and other social media giants to silence and deplatform people with opposing views, and even sent spies into Catholic churches to keep tabs on pro-lifers.

That’s what Biden, Garland, Wray and the rest meant by a “white supremacist terror threat.” Now Gabbard has swept all that aside and begun the road back to realism and honesty regarding where the real terror threat is coming from. The problem she faces is that the views of Biden, Garland and Wray are widespread within the intelligence community, not just during the Biden regime, but during the Obama years as well. If she doesn’t manage to root it out in its entirety, it will continue to do damage to law-abiding Americans. All patriots should be hoping that at this critical juncture, Tulsi Gabbard succeeds in the monumental task before her.

New York Town of Babylon, Long Island Bans Gun Stores

For far too long, the Second Amendment could be referred to as the Rodney Dangerfield of the Bill of Rights.

Within many circles of so-called civil rights advocates, it simply got no respect.  With the landmark HellerMcDonald, and Bruen rulings from the U. S. Supreme Court, many of those who looked at the right to keep and bear arms as a second-class right, or dismissed it completely as a “collective” right not held by individuals, were forced to admit an uncomfortable, to them, truth.

The Second Amendment was added to the U.S. Constitution to protect the right of law-abiding citizens to possess firearms.

What many of the people who continue to despise the idea of anyone owning firearms still don’t seem to understand (or simply ignore) is that, to possess firearms, you also must be able to acquire them.  Ignoring this rather obvious logical connection, anti-gun extremists continue to do whatever they feel they can to try to limit firearm ownership by limiting the ability to acquire them—in spite of the fact that such actions should be considered unconstitutional by anyone with even the most rudimentary critical thinking skills.

In that vein, Babylon Village, N.Y., which lies about 25 miles outside New York City on the east coast of Long Island, recently decided it can ignore the Second Amendment, and imposed a ban on gun stores.

A February 6 article in a local newspaper, The Beacon, reported, “No one will be able to sell firearms, ammunition, fireworks or other explosives in the Village of Babylon, according to a new law approved by the Village Board last week.”

The article noted that, although some objections were raised by people attending the public meeting, the Board of Trustees approved the ban unanimously.

Deputy Mayor Frank Seibert claimed, “For safety reasons, I think this is a good policy.”  He did not, apparently, elaborate on what, exactly, were the “safety reasons.”

Mayor Mary Adams attempted to justify the move by noting that there were concerns about people selling marijuana (illegally, we presume) behind a local marijuana store (New York legalized recreational marijuana sale/use in 2022).

If there’s known illegal activity, then do something about it.  But alleged illegal activity behind a permitted marijuana store should not be relevant as an apparent excuse for outlawing all gun stores in the village. Especially when one considers we have an enumerated right to own and acquire firearms, while sale or use of marijuana is not constitutionally protected.

Adams also tried defending the village’s ban on gun stores by noting other areas allow them.  But that’s not how protected rights work.  Imagine if the village took the same approach to any other protected rights?

Using the Mayor’s logic, the village could ban houses of worship, newspapers, bookstores, legal practices, and virtually anything else it wants, provided another area allows them.

While we don’t anticipate other civil rights organizations like the ACLU raising objections to the gun store ban, we can guarantee the group would scream bloody murder if Mayor Adams and her cohorts on the Board of Trustees started banning newspapers and houses of worship.

Perhaps to avoid being accused of completely banning the sale of firearms in Babylon, the new law will allow for the continuation of gun shows that take place at the American Legion Hall in Babylon.  These apparently take place twice a year, although it is unclear if the new law (we have yet to see a copy of what was enacted) would allow for more frequent shows.

But simply “allowing” two gun shows per year should not appease anyone who is concerned with the right to arms.  It is not an “occasional” right, just as it is not a “collective” right.  Would free press advocates be satisfied with the village “allowing” newspapers to be sold only twice a year?  Would those who cherish the freedom to worship as they see fit be satisfied with doing so only twice a year?

Perhaps the most ironic aspect of the American Legion Hall gun show exemption is the fact that anti-gun advocates have been targeting gun shows for decades.

In their world, where all guns are evil, gun shows are a breeding ground for illicit activities involving firearms.  It seems counterintuitive that Babylon would prefer having gun shows over gun stores, considering the lengths to which other anti-gun extremists have gone to vilify those very shows.

Ultimately, the actions of the village to ban gun stores has nothing to do with “safety,” and everything to do with trying to advance anti-gun efforts.  Remember, this is New York we are talking about; a state that has some of the most restrictive laws on the books when it comes to firearms.  The state already has draconian restrictions on the private sale of firearms, so virtually all transfers must go through a gun store.

New York gun laws regularly land the state in the top five, if not at the top, of lists put out by anti-gun organizations when they rank states based on what anti-gun laws they would like to see in place.  While New York regularly gets an A from anti-gun organizations for infringing on the rights of gun owners, we imagine Babylon would get an A+ for going the extra mile of making guns even harder to acquire by its law-abiding residents.

We will be looking into the actions of Babylon further to see what can be done to protect the Second Amendment rights of its residents.  Stay tuned.

During his address to Congress, President Donald Trump honored a 13-year-old boy battling cancer who had always dreamed of becoming a police officer. In a heartwarming moment, Trump surprised him with the special recognition of becoming an honorary member of the U.S. Secret Service.

Devarjaye “DJ” Daniel, a young boy from Texas who has been battling cancer most of his young life, was given the surprise of a lifetime when Trump granted his wish by making him a Secret Service agent.

“The doctors gave him five months at most to live. That was more than six years ago,” Trump said. “Since that time, DJ and his dad have been on a quest to make his dream come true.”

“And tonight, DJ, we’re going to do you the biggest honor of them all. I am asking our new Secret Service Director Sean Curran to officially make you an agent of the United States.”

After receiving the credentials from Curran, a shocked DJ immediately hugged him.

All Republicans in the chamber were on their feet watching Daniel having his dream come true. A majority of the Democrats did not clap and sat frozen in their seats.

UPDATE 8:19 PM

Soon after Trump’s address concluded, the White House posted an interview with DJ detailing his journey.

Outgoing PM Trudeau Declares Trade War In Response To Trump Tariffs: ‘We Will Not Back Down’

Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau speaks during a news conference about the US tariffs against Canada on March 4, 2025 on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, as (L-R) Foreign Minister Melanie Joly, Minister of Finance and Intergovernmental Affairs Dominic Leblanc and Minister of Public Safety David McGuinty look on. Trudeau said that President Donald Trump imposed tariffs on Canada to destroy the country's economy to make it easier for the United States to annex its northern neighbor. The extraordinary warning about Trump's threat to Canadian sovereignty came as the US president delivered on his vow to impose 25 percent tariffs on all Canadian goods. Outgoing Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau accused President Donald Trump of declaring a “dumb” trade war on Canada — maintaining that his country “will not back down.”

Trudeau spoke publicly hours after Trump enacted new tariffs against Mexico, Canada, and China.

He announced a 25% levy on “C$30 billion worth of U.S. imports, effective immediately.” Tariffs on another C$125 billion in U.S. goods will take effect in 21 days, he added, CNBC reported.

The prime minister went on to warn Trump and the U.S.

“A fight with Canada will have no winners,” Trudeau asserted as he addressed reporters in Ottawa while discussing the country’s response to the tariffs. “They point out that even though you’re a very smart guy, this is a very dumb thing to do,” he continued, addressing the president by his first name, Donald.

Trudeau pleaded for Canadians to “pull together,” and he vowed that Americans will feel the impact of these tariffs. Additionally, the outgoing Canadian leader accused Trump of purposely imposing the tariffs in an effort to collapse the Canadian economy — in order to make it easier to annex the country.

“We will never be the 51st state, but he can do damage to the Canadian economy, and he’s started this morning, but he is rapidly going to find out, as American families are going to find out, that that’s going to hurt people on both sides of the border.”

Canada has the world’s ninth largest economy and sits at around $2.3 trillion, which is only nearly the same size as the U.S. state of New York.

Nevertheless, Canada is still known for providing the U.S. a number of agricultural products, including grains such as wheat, barley, and oats, along with meat products like beef, pork, and poultry.

The U.S. also imports vehicles and auto parts from Canada, including cars, trucks, engines, transmissions, tires, and other components.

Trudeau later mentioned that he still has not spoken with Trump since the tariffs were put into effect.

“Today, the United States launched a trade war against Canada, their closest partner and ally — their closest friend. Canadians are reasonable, but we will not back down from a fight,” he wrote on X.

This comes after Trudeau already announced “retaliatory tariffs” on $30 billion Canadian dollars ($20.7 billion) worth of American goods.

In response, Trump confidently threatened to increase Canada’s tariffs even more on Tuesday.

“Please explain to Governor Trudeau, of Canada, that when he puts a Retaliatory Tariff on the U.S., our Reciprocal Tariff will immediately increase by a like amount!” he wrote on his Truth Social account.

Trudeau has insisted that Canadians don’t “hate” Americans, but he described the tariffs as a response to a “policy decision by the American government designed to go after the Canadian economy.”

“I want to speak first directly to the American people. We don’t want this. We want to work with you as a friend and ally. We don’t want to see you hurt either. But your government has chosen to do this to you. As of this morning, the markets are down and inflation is set to rise dramatically,” Trudeau told reporters.

During his announcement, Trudeau also urged Canadians to use their own country’s products, boycott American products, and stop vacationing in Florida.

Canada’s provincial premiers are expected to give their own addresses regarding the retaliatory tariffs on Tuesday.

In one of the first retaliatory measures announced, Ontario Premier Doug Ford said that his state was officially canceling its contract with Elon Musk-owned Starlink — which helps people in times of disaster when their electricity goes out.

This comes after Trump’s tariffs went into full effect just after midnight on Tuesday, in what the president cited were failures of Mexico, Canada, and China to stop the flow of deadly fentanyl coming into the U.S.

Mexico is expected to respond with retaliatory measures on U.S. goods on Sunday, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum announced on Tuesday.

“There is no motive or reason, nor justification that supports this decision that will affect our people and our nation,” she said.

Trudeau’s likely successor, Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre, similarly announced that Canada will fight this.

“At 12:01 a.m., President Trump stabbed America’s best friend in the back. My message to the president is this — Canada will fight back,” he announced in a statement.

The new tariffs, which went into effect on Tuesday, impose a 25% levy on the U.S.’s North American neighbors and 20% on China.

Democrat Representative Al Green was removed from the House of Representatives after repeatedly heckling President Donald Trump during his speech to a joint session of Congress.

On Tuesday, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-La.) repeatedly warned Green (D-Texas) to stop interrupting the 47th president.

“Members are directed to uphold and maintain decorum in the House and to cease any further disruptions. That’s your warning,” Johnson said from the front of the room.

“Members are engaging in willful and continuing breaches of decorum and the chair is prepared to direct the sergeant at arms to restore order to the joint session,” Johnson continued.

“Mr. Green, take your seat,” Johnson warned Green. “Take your seat, sir.”

Johnson then removed the Democrat from the chamber by ordering the Sergeant At Arms to restore order.

Green stood, waving his cane, and shouted, “You don’t have a mandate!” In response, Republicans rose from their seats, drowning him out with chants of “USA.”

Once guards began to remove Green, House Republicans sang “hey, hey, hey, goodbye.”

Since returning to office, Green has called for the impeachment of Trump.

This is a breaking story. Check back for updates.

The Patriot Nurse: Will This Secret Agreement Start a War Between the U.S. and Russia?

Most people have never heard of the Budapest Memorandum, but it’s being used as a key argument for why the U.S. is sending billions to Ukraine. Is this little-known agreement dragging America into a dangerous conflict with Russia? Politicians and the media don’t want you asking questions—but we’re breaking it all down. What does this really mean for our future, our security, and our tax dollars?

Victor Davis Hanson: Pentagon’s Partisan Letter Against Trump, Hegseth DEBUNKED

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Air Force General C.Q. Brown was fired from his post last month, along with several other high-ranking military officials. Many on the Left rushed to say that President Trump and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth were “politicizing” the Pentagon. However, “This is not a politicization of the Pentagon. It's the depoliticalization”, argues Victor Davis Hanson in today’s edition of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words.” “ They said, ‘This is reckless, it hurts morale, and it will depress recruitment.’ Let’s analyze that for just a second. Recruitment reached near-record levels after the election of Donald Trump. It's on the way up. I was depressed prior to that. Why would it be depressed? If you go through the Pentagon data, it's very hard to decipher. “ More importantly, Leon Panetta signed this letter. He was one, also, of the 51 intelligence authorities that said, right on the eve of the election and a few days before the 2020 debate, that Hunter [Biden's] laptop, which was in the hands of the FBI and authenticated, had all the hallmarks of a Russian information, which meant disinformation, campaign. “ Bottom line: We don't need any more letters from so-called experts. They're always partisan. And they're to no effect.”

Zelensky Expresses ‘Regret’ After Oval Office Meeting With Trump And Vance, Says He’s Ready To Negotiate

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Tuesday that the recent Friday meeting at the Oval Office in the White House was “regrettable,” adding that he’s now ready to work toward peace.

“My team and I stand ready to work under President Trump’s strong leadership to achieve a peace that lasts,” Zelensky wrote in a Tuesday post on social media, going on to say that the meeting “did not go the way it was supposed to.”

“None of us wants an endless war. Ukraine is ready to come to the negotiating table as soon as possible to bring lasting peace closer. Nobody wants peace more than Ukrainians. My team and I stand ready to work under President Trump’s strong leadership to achieve a peace that lasts,” Zelensky continued.

“We are ready to work quickly to end the war, and the first stages could be the release of prisoners and truce in the sky – ban on missiles, long-ranged drones, bombs on energy and other civilian infrastructure — and truce in the sea immediately, if Russia will do the same. We want to move very quickly through all the next stages and work with the US to agree a strong final deal.”

“We really do value how much America has done to help Ukraine maintain its sovereignty and independence. And we remember the moment when things changed, when President Trump provided Ukraine with Javelins. We are grateful for this.”

“Our meeting in Washington, at the White House on Friday, did not go the way it was supposed to be. It is regrettable that it happened this way. It is time to make things right. We would like future cooperation and communication to be constructive.”

Zelensky ended his lengthy post by asserting that Ukraine is ready to sign the previously proposed “minerals and security” deal.

“We see this agreement as a step toward greater security and solid security guarantees, and I truly hope it will work effectively,” Zelensky concluded.

Zelensky’s announcement follows after President Donald Trump paused all military aid to Ukraine after the back-and-forth arguments in the Oval Office on Friday.

The meeting on Friday between President Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Zelensky was intended to end with an agreed upon minerals deal. The result of the meeting, however, ended instead with Zelensky attempting to yell over President Trump and Vice President JD Vance, asserting that the U.S. would eventually “feel the effects of the war” — seemingly threatening that the U.S. must continue its flow of aid.

Following the meeting, President Trump directed Zelensky to leave the White House without a deal being signed, adding that he can return “when he’s ready for peace.”

Meanwhile, following the contentious meeting, some European leaders have begun to coalesce in support of Ukraine or, at the very least, have articulated rhetoric signaling its fullest solidarity with the nation—albeit belatedly, given that the United States has already extended more aid than any other country globally.

U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer, along with French President Emmanuel Macron, proposed a 30 day freeze on all strikes from the air and sea — as well as on energy infrastructure.

The month-long pause on strikes would theoretically provide a window to negotiate a more concrete peace deal with Moscow.
