Trump Moves To Ban Biological Male Athletes From Women’s Sports, Labels Visa Gender Changes As ‘Fraud’

President Donald Trump is anticipated to sign an Executive Order on Wednesday that will keep biological males who identify as transgender females out of female sports teams through Title IX — putting more pressure on schools to enforce the mandate or risk losing federal funding.

Additionally, the order will enforce a visa review of all athletes who enter the U.S. to compete and those who mark the opposite sex on their application — considering the act as potential “fraud.”

White House officials said in a call on Wednesday morning that allowing trans-identifying “women” to compete against biological women is both “dangerous” and “unfair,” due to scientifically proven advantages that biological males have over biological females — such as larger lung capacity and an overabundance of strength compared to their female counterparts.

“Biological sex is a determinant of athletic performance: adult males are faster, stronger, and more powerful than females because of fundamental sex differences in anatomy and physiology dictated by sex chromosomes,” according to the American College of Sports Medicine.

Trump officials further explained their motives.

“On his first day in office, Joe Biden signed an executive order calling on schools across the country to allow students to compete in the sport of their ‘gender identity,’” one official said.

“That is a slap in the face to female athletes who dedicate tremendous effort to be the best in their sport, only to be forced to compete against biological men.”

Passed in 1972, Title IX prohibits sex-based discrimination in any school or other educational program that receives federal funding.

As time has passed, Title IX compliance by colleges has helped increase their funding of women’s sports, and the law has received credit for the growth in popularity of women’s sports.

Last year, the United Nations (UN) released a report that revealed nearly 900 medals in women’s sports had been won by biological males who identify as trans females.

The report also found that up to March 30th, 2024, “over 600 female athletes in more than 400 competitions have lost more than 890 medals in 29 different sports."

“The replacement of female sports category with a mixed-sex category has resulted in an increasing number of female athletes losing opportunities, including medals, when competing against males,” Special Rapporteur Reem Alsalem wrote.

Furthermore, the mandate allows women who are forced to compete against biological males to sue the schools, White House officials noted — saying this “should very much concern” would-be violators.

During his campaign, Trump vowed to end male participation in women’s sports after many Americans voiced opposition against trans athletes like Penn College swimmer Lia Thomas, who set new records in collegiate competitions as a biological male who has gone through male puberty.

“It’s a man playing the game,” Trump told Fox News back in October.

“You just ban it. The president bans it. You just can’t let it happen.”

On his first day in office, the president signed an executive order announcing the federal government would only recognize two sexes: male and female.

FULL SPEECH: President Trump Signs EOs; Pete Hegseth Meets with Netanyahu - 2/5/25

President Trump signs executive orders and meets with the governors of California and Texas. Department of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth will meet with Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu for an honor cordon at 3 pm EST.

‘USAID’ Exposed: Why the Deep State is in PANIC as Secrets are Revealed

President Trump has faced major backlash from the left and media over his plan to shut down the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), or at least merge parts of it with the State Department. But Glenn explains why Trump SHOULD either dismantle USAID entirely or let Secretary of State Marco Rubio clean house. This isn’t a “humanitarian aid” organization, Glenn explains. USAID is a CIA front and the reason why the rest of the world hates us. It has been used to influence regime change and force nations to embrace things like transgenderism and abortion. But if Elon Musk, DOGE, Trump, and Rubio succeed in reforming or dismantling it, the American people are in for a good surprise!

FDA Bans Red No. 3 Used in Many Processed Foods

FDA Bans Red No. 3 Used in Many Processed Foods

The artificial coloring, known as Red Dye No. 3 has been banned in cosmetics in the U.S. for 35 years, but it has been allowed to stay in food and medicine. The synthetic dye that gives foods a cherry red color is an ingredient in more than 9,200 products on store shelves in the country.  It was only last month that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) finally moved to ban Red Dye No. 3 in food and medicine due to its link to cancer in animals, but other food dyes, including the controversial Red Dye No. 40, are not banned at this time.1

Red Dye No. 3 ban came in response to a color additive petition filed in 2022 by food safety advocates providing evidence of the dye’s links to cancer and behavioral issues. Because the dye is iodine based, it is also linked to thyroid issues.2 Red Dye No.3 can be found in many candies, baked goods and snacks, dairy and frozen desserts, fruit products, beverages, and some medications and supplements.3

Dyes Derived from Petroleum, Banned in Cosmetics Since 1990

Red Dye No. 3., which is derived from petroleum, was initially approved by the U.S. government for use in foods in 1907 even though little research had been conducted to demonstrate its safety. The FDA banned the additive in cosmetics in 1990 under the Delaney Clause, a federal law that requires the FDA to ban additives found to cause or induce cancer in either humans or animals.

The FDA has given food manufacturers until Jan. 15, 2027 to reformulate their products. Companies that make dietary supplements that contain Red Dye No. 3 will have an additional year to comply with the FDA ban.

“At long last, the FDA is ending the regulatory paradox of Red 3 being illegal for use in lipstick, but perfectly legal to feed to children in the form of candy,” said Peter Lurie, MD, MPH, president of the Center for Science in the Public Interest.1

Since Red Dye No. 40 is not banned, but there is concern about products with Red Dye. No 3 will simply be swapped for Red Dye 40, which is commonly linked to behavioral issues. Joshua Lachter of The Free Press writes:

If we wait for years of painstaking research to show that a particular compound is harmful— only to replace it with other compounds— we will simply swap the shunned for the suspect.4

“There is a growing national movement around this that we have seen. It is a bipartisan movement,” Lachter said. “This is an important moment, but I think it’s just the beginning of a lot more to come.”1

Red Dye No. 3 Restricted in Several Other Countries, State of California

In 2023, California became the first state to ban four food ingredients linked to disease, including Red Dye No. 3, brominated vegetable oil, potassium bromate, and propylparaben. Like the FDA’s ban, the law will not go into effect until 2027.

“It’s unacceptable that the U.S. is so far behind the rest of the world when it comes to food safety,” said California assemblymember Jesse Gabriel, who sponsored the state bill.  “This bill will not ban any foods or products — it simply will require food companies to make minor modifications to their recipes and switch to the safer alternative ingredients that they already use in Europe and so many other places around the globe,” he added.5

Countries that have restricted the use of Red Dye No. 3 for decades now, including Australia, New Zealand, and the European Union.5

Trump’s Shock and Awe Campaign Is Our Conservative Dream Come True

The dawn of the dead ideology of leftism.

As we survey the shattered, smoldering ruins of leftists’ dreams in the wake of Donald J. Trump’s campaign of annihilation, it’s understandable if we pause for just a moment to appreciate exactly what has happened. We’ve talked and dreamed about this scenario for years, but now it’s happening right in front of our eyes. It’s beautiful, man. It’s like the jungle exploding in a fireball in “Apocalypse Now.” We love the smell of napalm in the morning. It smells like victory.

No mercy, no quarter, no hesitation. Two ideologies walk into a Thunderdome, and one walks out.

There used to be norms, and then the Democrats decided not to honor the norms but demanded that we still do. And during Trump 1.0, we did. We pretended that there were still guardrails, that there was still truth and honor in our institutions, and that’s why so many establishment Republicans believed we should treat hoaxes like the Russiagate lies with more than just a summary dismissal and ruthless mockery.

We naively tried to honor the dead norms, pretending that the regime media was trying to report the truth rather than slavishly parroting the Democrat narrative. Well, as we learned after Trump 1.0. During Trump 2.0, we’re not pretending anymore. There’s no need to pretend. It’s a new day. It’s a new dawn – a dawn of the dead ideology of leftism. We’re going to nuke the site from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.

This change didn’t just happen. People didn’t just spontaneously figure out what time it was. This all began about 15 years ago, with the rise of the Tea Party and the appearance of a cultural colossus, Andrew Breitbart. Andrew always knew what time it was. He always saw through the lies. He saw through the Potemkin village facade of institutional integrity. He wasn’t playing by their rules. His critique of, and attack upon, the regime’s media was an essential component of what we’re seeing now. If it weren’t for Andrew, we’d still be in a morass of managed decline and utter failure, probably having just ended the second term of Hillary Clinton and watching her being replaced by someone even more evil. Instead, we’re trashing DEI, sealing the border, no longer indulging weird perversions, and terrifying the GOP establishment into fixing the Pentagon with a former Marine corporal casting the tie-breaking vote.

We don’t feel noways tired…of all the winning.

If you want to understand what happened, you must read the new book by my friend Larry O’Connor. It’s called “Shameless Liars: How Trump Defeated the Legacy Media and Made Them Irrelevant,” and it’s essential reading if you want to know how we got here and why. It’s good that Larry is getting this down on paper for posterity because this is history, folks. It’s history that you won’t read in the regime media or the institutional press. Larry has gone around the gatekeepers to tell this story. That’s the heart of what Andrew Breitbart taught us. We can’t submit to their cultural control. We can’t rely on others to tell our stories. We have to tell them ourselves. We have to take command of the narrative and use it as a spiked suppository against our enemies.

Also, I hear it’s got a forward by another incredible writer, so it’s got that going for it, which is nice.

You know Larry from here at Townhall and from his various radio, TV, and Internet shows. He was there from the beginning, right at Andrew’s side. Like Andrew, Larry is a child of the 80s, hence the Easter eggs of cultural references from that period I’ve sprinkled across this column. Larry and Andrew grew up under Ronald Reagan here in sunny Southern California, where anything was possible and there were no limits. You’ve got to understand how America this America was – it was America to the max. And Larry is telling this story to help us get back to that.

Donald Trump wants to get back to that glorious America, too. The regime media, the lying dirtbags that they are, tried to portray his magnificent inaugural address as a dark and grim litany of horrors. Of course, it was exactly the opposite. It was sunny and optimistic, looking forward to a bright future of possibilities as opposed to limitations. Sure, he delivered hard truths to the assembled Democrat losers who were forced to sit there and listen as he went through a litany of their failures. He cut it short – he could’ve gone on for hours telling them why they suck.

And boy, do they ever suck.

That’s the thing about the left. They always fail. Always. There are no exceptions. There’s no generally prosperous and free leftist jurisdiction out there. There are a few leftist feudal states, like California, where you have a few people at the top of the pyramid who live very well and a bunch of people at the base living on the edge of chaos and bankruptcy. Did you see Trump schooling the California pols at that roundtable? He knew what he was doing; they were clearly out of their depth. If you want success for everybody, rich, poor, and in-between, you have to go to Texas or Florida. Donald Trump’s greatest crime in his first term was demonstrating that we don’t have to fail, and that there is an alternative to the Democrat prescription for misery.

Everything they touch turns to Schiff.

Larry demonstrates how they couldn’t have taken, or stayed in, power without the collaboration of the regime media. As kids, Andrew, Larry, and I grew up when you had three networks. After a while, CNN came along and started a media revolution. But the innovative CNN of pioneering Gulf War coverage became the stale, grubby CNN of today, with its Don Lemons, Jake Tappers, and other communist weirdos. Can you imagine somebody putting Brian Stelter on air in the ’80s? We would have reached through the TV screen and given Tater a wedgie.

As Larry describes it, the media has completely betrayed its claim to be an assembly of neutral truth-tellers dedicated to informing the public. Instead, it’s just a motley collection of mediocre propagandists telling lies, and not very convincingly. No one believes them, listens to them, or watches them anymore. It would be sad if it wasn’t so hilarious. Their suffering gives us joy.

Maybe the journos can learn the code.

Larry points out that without the self-destruction of the regime media – well, we conservatives should take a little credit for helping to push them over a cliff like they famously depicted Republicans pushing granny – we wouldn’t be here testing the theory that we will eventually get tired of all the winning. Trump would not have done this if the regime's media had remained effective. But they aren’t effective. They’ve committed ritual suicide, and we’re all there for it.

That made Trump’s shock and awe possible. That made Trump able to ignore the notions, norms, and obsolete guardrails that prevented other Republicans from taking firm and decisive action to rip out the DEI deep state root, stem, and branch. Trump is in the Oval Office again, this time wielding power without excuse or apology the way a Democrat would wield it. This is unprecedented. This is unbelievable. And it is unstoppable. We’re not going to hesitate. We’re not going to quit. We’re going to wipe out all their dreams and laugh at them as they fall to their knees, raising their hands to the sky, and howling, “Noooooooooo!”

It’s all shock and awe for the next four years, with the pedal to the metal because we can’t drive 55. Regime media, take a bow. You made it all possible because you stink. So go get Larry’s book “Shameless Liars,” and revel in the story of how the mighty fell and how we patriots won.

Doug Collins Confirmed To Lead Department Of Veterans Affairs

The Senate has confirmed GOP Representative Doug Collins to lead the Department of Veterans Affairs.

On Tuesday, Collins was confirmed following a 77-to-23 vote — one of the widest bipartisan votes of any Trump Cabinet nominee so far.

Collins served in Congress from 2013 to 2021.

Last month, he also passed through the Veterans’ Affairs Committee on a wide bipartisan vote, with only Senator Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii) voting against him.

When accepting his nomination last November, Collins vowed to “fight tirelessly to streamline and cut regulations in the VA, root out corruption, and ensure every veteran receives the benefits they’ve earned.”

Collins will now lead an agency plagued by previous budget cuts, millions paid to unqualified executives, and complaints from a large majority of veterans regarding excessive wait times for care, which occurred under the Biden administration.

It will also be his first time running an agency as large as the Department of Veterans Affairs. It has around 400,000 employees and 1,300 health facilities.

“I do not come into this with rose-colored glasses. This is a large undertaking that I feel called to be at,” Collins explained. “When a veteran has to call a congressman or senator’s office to get the care they’ve already earned, it’s a mark of failure.”

“I’m gonna take care of the veterans. That means we’re not going to balance budgets on the backs of veterans benefits,” he continued.

El Salvador Agrees To Accept Deported Migrants Under New U.S. Deal, Including Criminals

El Salvador has agreed to take in violent U.S. criminals who are currently in jails and prisons. They have also agreed to accept deportees of any nationality.

Monday’s announcement came after U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele during his visit to the nation.

Rubio said the Salvadoran president had “agreed to the most unprecedented, extraordinary migratory agreement anywhere in the world.”

The former Florida Senator said that, in addition to taking deportees, El Salvador had “also offered to do the same for dangerous criminals currently in custody and serving their sentences in the United States, even though they’re U.S. citizens or legal residents.”

He made the announcement when he was visiting El Salvador. He went to the country to help push its government to help meet Trump administration demands for cracking down on immigration.

“President Bukele agreed to take back all Salvadoran MS-13 gang members who are in the United States unlawfully.”

Additionally, Bukele promised to accept and incarcerate violent illegal immigrants, including members of the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang, but also criminal illegal migrants from any country," State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce said in a statement.

“And in an extraordinary gesture never before extended by any country, President Bukele offered to house in his jails dangerous American criminals, including U.S. citizens and legal residents,” Bruce added.

Bruce called it a “tremendously successful meeting that will make both countries stronger, safer, and more prosperous.”

However, it is unclear whether the U.S. government will take up the offer as there are questions around the legality of such moves. Any effort by the Trump administration to deport incarcerated U.S. nationals to another country would face significant legal pushback.

El Salvador’s Terrorism Confinement Center, commonly referred to as CECOT, is the country’s largest and newest prison, with a maximum capacity of 40,000 inmates.

“The fee would be relatively low for the U.S. but significant for us, making our entire prison system sustainable,” he added.

Additionally, the State Department’s travel advisory for El Salvador also warns that those imprisoned in the country face “harsh” prison conditions and zero access to due process.

“Overcrowding constitutes a serious threat to prisoners’ health and lives,” the advisory said. “In many facilities, provisions for sanitation, potable water, ventilation, temperature control, and lighting are inadequate or nonexistent.”

Meanwhile, Trump signed an executive order in January specifically naming MS-13 and Tren de Aragua, citing their “campaigns of violence and terror in the United States and internationally” as threats to “the stability of the international order in the Western Hemisphere.”

The order also included a recommendation that the State Department start the process of designating Tren de Aragua as a foreign terrorist organization.

Last Friday, the U.S. special envoy for Latin America Mauricio Claver-Carone alluded to an agreement between the U.S. and El Salvador, saying Tren de Aragua members “will want to go back to Venezuela rather than having to share a prison with Salvadorean gangs like MS-13. That’s part of what we want to discuss and how President Bukele can help us.”

This comes after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said they would push ahead with a massive round of border security measures after crisis talks with President Donald Trump on Monday.

Gabbard Garners Key GOP Support, Senate Intel Committee Advances Confirmation

WASHINGTON, DC - JANUARY 30: Tulsi Gabbard, U.S. President Donald Trump’s nominee to be Director of National Intelligence, arrives to testify during her confirmation hearing before the Senate Intelligence Committee in the Dirksen Senate Office Building on January 30, 2025 in Washington, DC. Gabbard, a former Congresswoman from Hawaii who previously ran for president as a Democrat before joining the Republican Party and supporting President Trump, is facing criticism from Senators over her lack of intelligence experience and her opinions on domestic surveillance powers. Tulsi Gabbard was able to secure support from GOP senators who were previously on the fence regarding her director of national intelligence nomination, surviving a crucial Senate Intelligence Committee vote on Tuesday.

The Senate Intelligence Committee sent Gabbard’s nomination to the full Senate by a vote of 9 to 8.

Republican Senators Todd Young (R-Ind.) and Susan Collins (R-Maine) confirmed their support for Gabbard — after previously expressing skepticism.

“American intelligence officers around the globe deserve our respect and support. I appreciate Tulsi Gabbard’s engagement with me on a variety of issues to ensure that our intelligence professionals are supported and policymakers receive unbiased information under her leadership,” Young stated on Tuesday.

“I have done what the Framers envisioned for senators to do: use the consultative process to seek firm commitments, in this case commitments that will advance our national security, which is my top priority as a former Marine Corps intelligence officer,” Young continued. “Having now secured these commitments, I will support Tulsi’s nomination and look forward to working with her to protect our national security.”

Young’s comments of approval follow his prior concerns over Gabbard’s “dismissive” attitude towards whistleblower Edward Snowden while at her heating last week.

“I think it would benefit you, and be helpful to the way you are perceived by members of the intelligence community, if you would at least acknowledge that the greatest whistleblower in American history, so-called, harmed national security by breaking the laws of the land.”

Snowden, a former National Security Agency (NSA) contractor, previously leaked classified documents in 2013, disclosing the massive illegal and unconstitutional global surveillance programs that the NSA was conducting, which included the mass surveillance of everyday Americans, among other illicit programs.

Meanwhile, Collins further confirmed her support for Gabbard on Monday, stating “After extensive consideration of her nomination, I will support Tulsi Gabbard to be the Director of National Intelligence.

Collins previously voted against Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, showcasing her willingness to defy the GOP and President Donald Trump’s preferred candidates.

Collins added: “The Office of the Director of National Intelligence, however, has become far larger than it was designed to be, and Ms. Gabbard shares my vision of returning the agency to its intended size.”

Another point of contention was Gabbard’s previous opposition against Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act Section 702, which provides the federal intelligence apparatus to spy on non-Americans living abroad. Gabbard previously expressed concern that the program could violate the Fourth Amendment by “accidentally” collecting information on U.S. citizens.

However, after certain provisions were made that would disallow the possibility of these concerns to occur, Gabbard quickly changed her tune during the previous hearing.

“The national security capability that is provided by Section 702, that enables this foreign surveillance on non-U.S. persons overseas, is critical — period,” she affirmed during her hearing, calming one of Collins’ concerns.
