President-elect Donald Trump has announced that retired Lieutenant General Keith Kellogg will serve as his special envoy for Russia and Ukraine, a key position as the ongoing conflict continues to escalate.
“I am very pleased to nominate General Keith Kellogg to serve as Assistant to the President and Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia. Keith has led a distinguished Military and Business career, including serving in highly sensitive National Security roles in my first Administration. He was with me right from the beginning! Together, we will secure PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH, and Make America, and the World, SAFE AGAIN!” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post.
Kellogg, who previously served as Trump’s chief of staff and executive secretary to the National Security Council, released a policy paper regarding the Russia-Ukraine war, arguing that the United States should only provide military aid to Ukraine on the condition that they enter into official diplomatic peace talks.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated in July 2023 that Ukraine would never consider a peaceful agreement in its conflict with Russia as long as Moscow controls Crimea.
“We cannot imagine Ukraine without Crimea. And while Crimea is under the Russian occupation, it means only one thing: War is not over yet,” Zelenskyy, 45, said in a CNN interview.
Kellogg further explained how he sees the situation.
“Ukraine would not be asked to relinquish the goal of regaining all its territory, but it would agree to use diplomacy, not force, with the understanding that this would require a future diplomatic breakthrough, which probably will not occur before Putin leaves office,” Kellogg wrote, along with co-author Fred Fleitz.
Kellogg’s proposal also notes that the United States would increase support for Ukraine if Moscow refuses to engage in peace talks. However, if Ukraine refuses, the nation would most likely have certain “privileges” revoked, especially in terms of Western weaponry, according to analysts.
Trump was asked whether he supports Kellogg’s policy position, responding: “I’m the only one who can get the war stopped. It should have never started in the first place.”
President-elect Trump has historically criticized the consistent flow of American military aid and funds sent to Ukraine during their fight, preferring for both sides to negotiate rather than continuing warfare.
“As of September 30, 2024, the U.S. Ukraine response funding totals nearly $183 billion, with $130.1 billion obligated and $86.7 billion disbursed,” according to the Ukraine Oversight Committee.
Meanwhile, the 47th president-elect had more words to say regarding the Ukraine-Russia war.
“Every time Zelenskyy comes to the United States, he walks away with $100 billion. I think he’s the greatest salesman on Earth. But we’re stuck in that war – unless I’m president. I’ll get it done. I’ll get it negotiated,” Trump declared.
Additionally, Trump’s trusted advisors, Vice President-elect JD Vance, and his pick for Health and Human Services Secretary, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., have also been outspoken critics of American taxpayer money being funneled into Ukraine’s war efforts.
“I know what Donald Trump was thinking while he was having that meeting. He was thinking, I want to turn this guy over and hold him by his legs and shake all the money out of his pockets and hope it adds up to $208 billion … That’s what the Democrats gave him, and we need to bring that money home,” Kennedy stated, referencing the funding Kiev has received since the beginning of the war,” Kennedy stated.
“I think it’s important if we’re ever going to end the war in Ukraine, fundamentally, at some level, we’re going to have to engage in some sort of negotiation between Ukraine, and between Russia, between our NATIO allies in Europe,” Vance added. “There is frankly no good reason that aid from the U.S. should be needed. Europe is made up of many great nations with productive economies.”

A mentally ill Arizona man with previous felony charges has been arrested after threatening to kill President-elect Donald Trump.
According to court documents, Manuel Tamayo-Torres has been accused of threatening to kill Trump, as shown in a number of concerning videos posted online.
His mugshot and age has not yet been released to the press by the authorities. Additionally, some sources say that he was arrested in Southern California, while other sources allege that he was arrested in Arizona, where he resides.
Police stated that Tamayo-Torres posted videos on a “near-daily basis” accusing Trump and members of the president-elect’s family of kidnapping and sex-trafficking his children. It is unclear if the arrested man even has children.
A recently posted video was shared on November 21st, where he declared that Trump’s “whole family is going to die,” according to the charging documents.
Reports stated that the court documents did not directly identify Trump, only referring to him as “Individual 1.” However, court documents identify “Individual 1” as a public figure, “former” president, and the current president-elect.
Court documents note that last Thursday, Tamayo-Torres said in a video posted on Facebook, “[Individual 1] you’re gonna die, [Individual 1], your son’s gonna die. Your whole family is going to die, [Individual 1]. This is reality now for you. This is the only reality you have in your future, [Individual 1], dying.”
Tamayo-Torres also threatened to shoot Trump in another video and held up “what appears to be a white AR 15-style rifle with a 30-round magazine inserted into it.”
“You’re Caucasian nothing,” he continued in the video. “You’ll earn nothing. Aryan money, that’s all you have. You’re a low-life scum. I’ll spit in your f—–g face motherf—er, and if they give me a chance, I’m going to f—–g bury you myself.”
Previously, on August 23rd, Tamayo-Torres posted yet another video, but this time, from the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona. The same location where Trump was holding an afternoon rally. During the rally, Trump announced that he will form an independent commission to investigate assassination attempts.
He was charged with one count of making threats against the incoming president-elect and four counts of making false statements during the purchase of a firearm.
Back in 2003, Tamayo-Torres was found guilty of felony assault and given a five-year sentence in a California state prison. According to the court documents, his ex-wife served him with an order of protection last year.

Stanford professor and President Trump’s nominee for NIH Director Dr. Jay Bhattacharya was censored for challenging the public health consensus during the COVID-19 pandemic, but it turns out he was right. He explains how the Great Barrington Declaration, which he co-authored with scientists from Harvard and Oxford, advocated for "focused protection" of vulnerable populations while allowing society, especially children, to return to normal life. Backed by hard data, Dr. Bhattacharya argues that early in the pandemic, a wildly overestimated infection fatality rate drove public health officials to adopt a policy agenda of societal self-destruction, with much of the burden falling on the most disadvantaged among us.
Trump Appoints Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, Lockdown And Vaccine Mandate Critic, To Lead National Institutes Of Health

President-elect Donald Trump has announced that Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, a Stanford University health researcher and COVID-19 lockdown critic, will serve as the next director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Within the announcement, Trump stated that Dr. Bhattacharya will work closely with Trump’s pick for Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
“Dr. Bhattacharya will work in cooperation with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to direct the Nation’s Medical Research, and to make important discoveries that will improve Health, and save lives,” Trump announced.
“Jay is a Professor of Health Policy at Stanford University, a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economics Research, and a Senior Fellow by courtesy at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research, Stanford Freeman Spogli Institute, and the Hoover Institution. He directs Stanford’s Center for Demography and Economics of Health and Aging. His Research focuses on the Health and Well-Being of vulnerable populations, emphasizing the role of Government programs, Biomedical Innovation, and Economics,” Trump continued.
Dr. Bhattacharya was a sharp critic of the mandated COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns, as he was credited as one of the authors of the Great Barrington Declaration.
The letter was released in October 2020 and it argued that the lockdowns were “producing devastating effects on short and long-term public health,” and to “allow those who are at minimal risk of death to live their lives normally to build up immunity to the virus through natural infection, while better protecting those who are at highest risk.”
“Together, Jay and RFK Jr. will restore the NIH to a Gold Standard of Medical Research as they examine the underlying causes of, and solutions to, America’s biggest Health challenges, including our Crisis of Chronic Illness and Disease. Together, they will work hard to Make America Healthy Again!” Trump’s post concluded.
Bhattacharya’s new post will allow him to oversee the health agency, which is in charge of over 18,000 workers and nearly $48 billion in scientific research funds. It directs over 300,000 researchers and over 2,500 universities and medical schools.
Soon after, Kennedy logged in to social media platforms in order to congratulate Dr. Bhattacharya, expressing his excitement for the future.
“I’m so grateful to President Trump for this spectacular appointment. Dr. Jay Bhattacharya is the ideal leader to restore NIH as the international template for gold-standard science and evidence-based medicine,” Kennedy wrote.
The appointment of Dr. Bhattacharya presents a massive turnaround, as he was previously blacklisted on Twitter for his views on the pandemic, according to the 2022 “Twitter Files,” to now being in control of a major health agency.
“I am honored and humbled by President @realDonaldTrump’s nomination of me to be the next @NIH director. We will reform American scientific institutions so that they are worthy of trust again and will deploy the fruits of excellent science to make America healthy again!” Dr. Bhattacharya posted on X.
