According to a hadith, Muhammad said, “War is deceit.” (Bukhari 4.52.268).

“Exposed: Hamas’s propaganda team,” by Maayan Jaffe-Hoffman, Jerusalem Post, November 2, 2023:

Around five dozen individuals, some associated with Hamas and collectively boasting more than 100 million social media followers, have been waging a propaganda campaign against Israel on various social media platforms since the start of the Swords of Iron War on October 7.

These influencers, who identify as independent journalists, are often seen sporting blue press vests and helmets. They have also reportedly found refuge in Al-Shifa hospital, which the IDF recently disclosed serves as a Hamas command and control center, providing them with access to electricity and the internet.

While these individuals may appear to be speaking independently, they effectively act as the mouthpiece for the terrorist organization. Furthermore, they frequently feature in interviews and are quoted in mainstream media, causing their lies to spread.

The Jerusalem Post has located some of these influencers through inside and open sources. It plans to reveal their identities in the coming weeks.

Here are some examples:

Plestia Alaqad (Instagram handle @byplestia) has more than a million followers and calls herself an independent journalist but spread the lie on Instagram and in an interview with British TV that Israel bombed the Al-Ahli Hospital and killed more than 1,000 people.

“Yesterday, a complete massacre happened,” she said of the missile, which was quickly proven to be a misfired Islamic Jihad rocket and not connected to Israel at all. “Around 1,000 civilians were killed and martyred.”

Fewer than 50 people were killed in the incident, according to international independent investigations.

“It’s a genocide, literally a genocide, not a massacre,” she told Britain’s GB News. She threw out several numbers of people dead, including 10 journalists at the time, which the station noted could not be verified.

In her posts, she has not provided any explanation for the commencement of the airstrikes on Gaza – namely, the October 7 massacre….

Kamala Harris’ stepdaughter is promoting an $8,000,000 fundraising campaign for Gaza

This money will go to Hamas. There is no entity in Gaza that can prevent this money from going to Hamas.

“Kamala Harris’ stepdaughter Ella Emhoff is promoting an $8M Gaza fundraising campaign: ‘Abhorrent,’” by Jon Levine, New York Post, November 4, 2023:

…Ella Emhoff, 24 — whose father, First Gentleman Doug Emhoff, is Jewish — affixed a fundraising drive “supporting urgent relief for Gaza’s children” on her personal Instagram account. It makes no mention of the scores of Israeli children murdered among the 1,400 innocent Israelis killed by Hamas terrorists on Oct. 7.

Her promotion puts the funding appeal in front of her 315,000 Instagram followers.

The fundraiser, which has netted more than $7.8 million so far, is being operated by the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund, a nonprofit based in Kent, Ohio, which raked in more than $21 million in 2021, according to ProPublica. It’s unclear how much, if anything, Ella Emhoff has personally donated to the cause.

“It’s of tremendous concern and I find it abhorrent,” said Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ). “To be honest with you, I am kind of stunned by it. It’s disturbing to the maximum degree.”

Van Drew, a member of the House Homeland Security Committee, said it was almost certain that Hamas would be able to siphon any humanitarian cash that entered Gaza….

“Ella is not Jewish,” a rep for the second daughter insisted to The Forward in 2021. “It’s not something she grew up with. Ella truly has no qualms with the faith, but she does not want to speak on behalf of Judaism, as she does not celebrate herself.”

Emhoff — whose biological mom is film producer Kerstin Emhoff — has styled herself as a model and making boobs-out appearances at New York Fashion Week….

NYC Mayor Eric Adams’ campaign suspected of conspiring with Turkish government to receive illegal foreign donations

If Adams were acting as an agent to advance the interests of the government of Turkey, what would he be doing? Or more precisely, if Adams were not making decisions while considering what is good for the government of Turkey, what would he be doing differently?

“U.S. Investigating Whether Adams Received Illegal Donations From Turkey,” Dnyuz, November 2, 2023:

Federal prosecutors and the F.B.I. are conducting a broad public corruption investigation into whether Mayor Eric Adams’s 2021 election campaign conspired with the Turkish government to receive illegal foreign donations, according to a search warrant obtained by The New York Times.

The investigation burst into public view on Thursday when federal agents conducted an early-morning raid at the Brooklyn home of the mayor’s chief fund-raiser, Brianna Suggs. Ms. Suggs is a campaign consultant who is deeply entwined with efforts to advance the mayor’s agenda.

Investigators also sought to learn more about the potential involvement of a Brooklyn construction company with ties to Turkey, as well as a small university in Washington, D.C., that also has ties to the country and to Mr. Adams.

According to the search warrant, investigators were also focused on whether the mayor’s campaign kicked back benefits to the construction company’s officials and employees, and to Turkish officials.

The agents seized three iPhones and two laptop computers, along with papers and other evidence, including something agents identified as a “manila folder labeled Eric Adams,” seven “contribution card binders” and other materials, according to the document.

There was no indication that the investigation was targeting the mayor, and he is not accused of wrongdoing. Yet the raid apparently prompted him to abruptly cancel several meetings scheduled for Thursday morning in Washington, D.C., where he planned to speak with White House officials and members of Congress about the migrant crisis.

Instead, he hurriedly returned to New York “to deal with a matter,” a spokesman for the mayor said.

“The mayor heard of an issue related to the campaign and takes these issues seriously, so wanted to get back to New York as quickly as possible,” Fabien Levy, the deputy mayor for communications, said in a statement Thursday evening. “He plans to return to D.C. and reschedule these meetings as soon as he can.”

The warrant suggested that some of the foreign campaign contributions were made as part of a straw donor scheme, where donations are made in the names of people who did not actually give money. Investigators sought evidence to support potential charges that included the theft of federal funds and conspiracy to steal federal funds, wire fraud and wire fraud conspiracy, as well as campaign contributions by foreign nationals and conspiracy to make such contributions.

Mr. Adams has boasted of his ties to Turkey, most recently during a flag-raising he hosted for the country in Lower Manhattan last week. The mayor said that there were probably no other mayors in New York City history who had visited Turkey as frequently as he has.

“I think I’m on my sixth or seventh visit,” he said. At least one of those visits happened while he was Brooklyn borough president when the government of Turkey underwrote the excursion, The Daily News reported….

‘We Will Drink Your Blood and Eat Your Skull’: A Legacy of Islamic Savagery

AP Photo, File

What’s the deal with Muslim calls for not just violence, but eating the flesh or drinking the blood of their infidel enemies?

Consider the case of Ahed Tamimi, described by Wikipedia as:

a Palestinian activist … in the occupied West Bank in Palestine. She is best known for appearances in images and videos in which she confronts Israeli soldiers. Tamimi's advocates consider her a freedom fighter for Palestine… In December 2017, she was detained by Israeli authorities for slapping a soldier. The incident was filmed and went viral, attracting international interest and debate. Tamimi was sentenced to eight months in prison after agreeing to a plea bargain and was released on 29 July 2018...  [I]n February 2018, the famous Israeli poet Yehonatan Geffen, the nephew of Moshe Dayan, posted a poem on his Instagram page that ended with the following lines: “You, Ahed Tamimi, The red-haired, Like David who slapped Goliath, Will be counted among the likes of Joan of Arc, Hannah Senesh and Anne Frank.”

Well, this “heroine” recently wrote the following on her Instagram:

We are waiting for you [Jewish settlers] in all the cities of the West Bank, from Hebron to Jenin. We will slaughter you and you will say that what Hitler did to you was a joke. We will drink your blood and eat your skull. Come on, we're waiting for you.

Much, as usual, can be said here, but of interest to me are the cannibalistic references and the fact that they are common among Muslims—and, as can now be seen, not just of the so-called “radical” variety.

The Islamic State, for instance, has repeatedly stated that “American blood is best, and we will taste it soon.” Nor was this just “picturesque” language. According to a 2017 report, “Islamic State terrorists are teaching their fighters to eat non-Muslims, it has emerged.” (I saved one picture from those days, since likely expunged, of an Obama-sponsored Free Syrian Army “rebel” digging into the heart of a fallen Syrian soldier in 2013.)

Where do these anthropophaginian tendencies come from?

In fact, calls to devour “infidels,” especially as a terror tactic, are common throughout Islamic history. Some well-documented anecdotes come to mind, beginning with the source of inspiration for ISIS’s calls to drink American blood: During the earliest Muslim invasions of Roman Syria, one of Muhammad’s companions, Ubadah bin al-Samat, told a Christian commander that “we have tasted blood and find none sweeter than the blood of Romans.”

Another example concerns the jihadist par excellence, Khalid bin al-Walid (d.642). Dubbed the “Sword of Allah” by Muhammad for his prowess, he holds a revered position among jihadist groups. During the Ridda—or “apostasy wars” on several Arab tribes that sought to break away from Islam following Muhammad’s death—Khalid falsely accused Malik bin Nuwayra, a well-liked Arab chieftain, of apostasy. After slaughtering him, Khalid raped—Muslim sources call it “married”—Malik’s wife. Furthermore:

He [Khalid] ordered his [Malik’s] head and he combined it with two stones and cooked a pot over them. And Khalid ate from it that night to terrify the apostate Arab tribes and others. And it was said that Malik’s hair created such a blaze that the meat was so thoroughly cooked [from Muslim historian al-Tabari’s multi-volume chronicle, al-bidaya w’al nihaya; Arabic excerpt here].

Another anecdote concerns the Islamic conquest of Spain. According to Muslim chronicler Ibn Abdul Hakam, after capturing a group of Christian winemakers, the Islamic invaders:

made them prisoners. After that they took one of the vinedressers, slaughtered him, cut him in pieces, and boiled him, while the rest of his companions looked on. They had also boiled meat in other cauldrons. When the meat was cooked, they threw away the flesh of that man which they had boiled; no one knowing that it was thrown away: and they ate the meat which they had boiled, while the rest of the vinedressers were spectators. These did not doubt but that the Moslems ate the flesh of their companion; the rest being afterward sent away informed the people of Andalus [Christian Spain] that the Moslems feed on human flesh, acquainting them with what had been done to the vinedresser [source].

Tarek ibn Ziyad—another jihadist extraordinaire, revered for burning his boats on reaching Spain’s shores as proof of his commitment to jihad or “martyrdom”—also had Christian captives slaughtered, cooked up, and apparently eaten in front of their fellow hostages. Then, according to Muslim historian Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Maqqari, the Muslim hero “allowed some of the captives to escape, that they might report to their countrymen what they had seen. And thus the stratagem produced the desired effect since the report of the fugitives contributed in no small degree to increase the panic of the infidels.” [The History of the Mohammedan Dynasty, p. 276]

Note that, according to the above-cited Muslim chroniclers, the jihadists engaged in these cannibalistic practices to terrorize and create panic among infidels and apostates, that is, as a form of psychological warfare. This is further pronounced when, as they often do, the chroniclers quote or paraphrase Koran verses that call for “striking terror” into the hearts of nonbelievers (e.g., 3:151, 8:12, 8:60) in juxtaposition to the savage accounts they relay.

Years back, I watched and linked to a video of a modern-day Egyptian cleric also making it clear that Khalid’s actions were calculated to terrify the apostates. Although YouTube has, as usual, since taken down the video, here’s my original translation of the cleric’s remarks:

People wonder how our lord Khalid could have eaten from such meat.  Oh yes—he ate from it! Our lord Khalid had a very strong character, a great appetite, and everything!  All to terrorize the desert Arabs [apostates].  The matter requires determination; these matters require strength—terrorism.

Indeed, none other than Al Azhar—the Muslim world’s most prestigious university, which hosted Obama’s 2009 “New Beginning” speech—teaches that “those who don’t pray can be grilled and then eaten.”

The reason is simple: such a barbarous heritage doesn’t belong to ISIS any more than it does to Al Azhar.  It belongs to Islam—hence why a young Palestinian darling is now telling Israelis that she will “drink your blood and eat your skull.”

Pennsylvania Nurse Accused Of At Least 17 Deaths Of Patient Insulin Overdoses

B| Eli Lilly Caps Insulin Prices Slashes Seventy Percent
NEW YORK, NEW YORK - MARCH 02: In this photo illustration, Taylor Jane Stimmler, whose had type 1 diabetes since she was a teenager, displays her insulin and needles used for injection, on March 02, 2023 in New York City. Drugmaker Eli Lilly announced yesterday that it will cap the out-of-pocket cost of its insulin at $35 a month. Medical experts believe that the unexpected move may compel other insulin makers in the U.S. to follow suit and cap their prices of insulin. For those without health insurance or a health plan, the cost of insulin can cost hundreds or thousands of dollars a month for a diabetic. A Pennsylvania nurse has been accused of allegedly administering lethal or potentially lethal doses of insulin to multiple patients, causing at least 17 deaths.

On Thursday, 41-year-old Heather Pressdee was arraigned on two new homicide charges after she had been accused in May of killing at least two nursing home patients and injuring a third.

Pressdee proceeded to reportedly later confess to the attempted murder of 19 patients.

Pressdee’s defense attorney, James DePasquale, said the fresh accusations were not unexpected and that they are attempting to avoid the death penalty.

The most recent allegations accuse mistreatment of 19 more patients at five different care facilities since 2020.

She was charged with 17 counts of attempted murder and 19 counts of abuse of a care-dependent person, in addition to two counts of first-degree murder.

Pressdee, a resident of Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania, allegedly administered excessive doses of insulin to patients, some of whom were diabetic and others who were not.

According to state Attorney General Michelle Henry, Pressdee often provided insulin during nocturnal shifts when personnel was minimal and the situations did not necessitate emergency hospitalization.

“The allegations against Ms. Pressdee are disturbing,” Henry said in a statement. “It is hard to comprehend how a nurse, trusted to care for her patients, could choose to deliberately and systematically harm them.”

17 of her patients, ranging in age from 43 to 104, have died, according to Henry. Not long after the initial allegations were filed, her nursing license was suspended.

Pressdee worked as a registered nurse at five different facilities, including Concordia at Rebecca Residence, Belair Healthcare and Rehabilitation (Guardian Elder Care), Quality Life Services Chicora, Premier Armstrong Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, and Sunnyview Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

According to court documents, between April 2022 and May of this year, Pressdee wrote her mother numerous texts in which she expressed her dissatisfaction with various patients and colleagues and talked about potentially killing them. She also complained about people she met in restaurants and other public locations outside of healthcare facilities.

Documents also stated that the former nurse had a history of being “disciplined for abusive behavior towards patients and/or staff at each facility resulting in her resigning or being terminated.”

Pressdee is being held without bail at the Butler County jail.

Meet the State Department Employee Who is Accusing Biden of ‘Genocide’

Untitled-design-1.jpg

Sylvia Yacoub, an employee in the State Department’s Near Eastern Affairs Bureau, is organizing a "dissent cable" in her bureau and within the State Department, looking to undermine the Biden administration's policy of strongly supporting Israel in its war against Hamas.

She has also used social media to excoriate Biden and his policies.

It should be noted that "dissent cables" are not for public consumption and are supposed to remain in-house. In fact, senior State Department officials take great care to guard their secrecy so that the junior officers drafting the cable aren't punished.

But Yacoub apparently publicized the email asking for signatories to sign the cable.

"In light of Hamas's heinous attack on October 7, the ensuing response by the Government of Israel, and the seemingly full endorsement by the U.S. government to the response, we have drafted a dissent cable calling for a significant change in the Administration's short and long-term policy surround the conflict and path towards regional integration and security," she wrote, according to a copy obtained by Axios.

"We will send the draft cable on ClassNet," she wrote, referring to a classified system in the State Department. "We are hoping to collect signatures of those interested by COB tomorrow."

For Yacoub, her passion for the Palestinians burns brightly. In fact, she's a fanatic who doesn't belong within 100 miles of Foggy Bottom.

Washington Free Beacon:

Yacoub’s messages—which accuse Israel of "genocide" in the Gaza Strip, criticize U.S. military assistance to Israel, and accuse the Biden administration of fomenting Islamaphobia with its pro-Israel position—are said to be well known within the State Department and causing headaches among officials, according to two U.S. government sources who spoke to the Free Beacon.

Yacoub is one of several current Biden administration officials who have publicly griped about America’s robust support for Israel, including a Pentagon employee who has repeatedly called for an immediate Israeli ceasefire, undercutting the administration’s stated policy. U.S. officials, in private forums, have also raised concerns about what they see as the administration’s overly supportive stance towards Israel, according to one U.S. official familiar with the matter.

"A U.S. diplomat openly attacking the administration and its policy in such a manner only serves to undermine the overall mission of advancing U.S. interests," one U.S. official familiar with Yacoub’s social media postings told the Free Beacon. "No one is forcing her to be part of an administration and a policy that she evidently loathes so much."

Apparently, Yacoub isn't interested in resigning. She wants to make a splash on social media. In contrast to the rather mild language she used in the email about the dissent cable, Yoacoub held nothing back in her social media posts.

"You are providing significantly more military assistance to the government that is indiscriminately attacking innocent Gazans... you are complicit in genocide."

"Hey @POTUS—so long as you keep showing absolute support for Bibi with no clear, actionable redlines or calls for a ceasefire, you continue to support genocide," she wrote in another tweet.."Your rhetoric and approach from day one have resulted in the deaths of thousands. There is so much blood on your hands."

Yacoub is very well-connected, having worked for Hillary Clinton and the Obama Foundation. But after only two years at the State Department, what made her believe that anyone was interested in her opinion about war and peace?

A State Department official, speaking only on background, would not comment on the substance of Yacoub's tweets, instead telling the Free Beacon that all employees have access to an internal government network known as the "dissent channel," in which they can communicate policy concerns.

"As a general matter, the dissent channel has been available to employees since the Vietnam War, and we are proud that the department has an established procedure for employees to articulate policy disagreements directly to the attention of senior department principals without fear of retribution," the official said.

Yacoub wasn't interested in making her views known to her superiors. She wanted attention drawn to her policy position despite being a junior employee.

It's a hallmark of her generation to engage in self-aggrandizement and call it "activism."

Netanyahu: No ‘Pause,’ No Ceasefire, No Fuel For Gaza Unless Hostages Released

AP Photo/Evan Vucci
"We won't stop until victory," said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a short, televised address on Friday. He told the Israeli people that he had rejected U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken's suggestion of a humanitarian "pause" in the fighting that does not include a release of their hostages. He also says Israel “will not enable the entry of fuel to Gaza.”

He promised that victory would be “sharp and clear” and would “resonate for generations.”

For the first time since the war began, we can see daylight between the U.S. and Israeli governments. As Israel continues to prosecute a war that, by necessity, is leading to a high civilian death toll, Israel's friends find it more and more difficult to give the Jewish state unqualified support.

I'm pretty sure Netanyahu was aware of this going into the war. It doesn't appear that anything the United States says or does will deter him from achieving his number one war aim: destroying Hamas so they can never threaten to security of the Israeli people again.

Times of Israel:

He says he told Blinken that “Israel refuses a temporary ceasefire that does not include the release of our hostages. Israel will not enable the entry of fuel to Gaza and opposes sending money to the Strip.”

He notes that Israel has lost hundreds of civilians and soldiers on and since October 7 — wonderful fighters, incredible Israelis… people who blocked these monsters with their bodies.”

He tells some of their stories and says they “sacrificed their lives for our lives.”

“We are trying to fight with minimal danger to our warriors, but we will do whatever is needed to defeat our enemies,” he concludes.

Indeed, the call for a "humanitarian pause" would only give Hamas time to regroup and dig in. And a pause would definitely do no favors for the Israeli and foreign hostages being held in Gaza. Netanyahu has no choice. All he has for leverage regarding the hostages is Israel's ability to make life absolutely miserable for Gazans.

Hamas, of course, is doing fine. It's the Gazans who are suffering and even if public opinion turned against Hamas -- a remote possibility -- the terrorists wouldn't care. They're not at war to save the Palestinians or create a homeland for them. They are fighting a holy war to destroy Israel.

Hamas certainly doesn't care about a "pause" except how they can use it to better their strategic position.

Wall Street Journal:

As Israeli forces have advanced, quickly encircling Gaza City and bearing down on tunnel networks and strongholds, Hamas would like nothing more than to slow them down.

It strains credibility to think Hamas wouldn’t use a pause to its advantage. Nor is Hamas likely to release all hostages and forfeit its best leverage. It may drag out negotiations, dribbling out hostages to win reprieve after reprieve, plus propaganda bumps.

The way to help Palestinian civilians isn’t to slow the Israeli advance. The less control Hamas has over Gaza’s streets, the more civilians can escape the fighting and the more aid can be brought in securely. The ground invasion has already allowed humanitarian assistance to ramp up, with more than 100 truckloads now arriving each day. Hamas would use freedom of action to keep civilians as shields and pilfer more aid—limiting what Israel can let in.

The fate of the hostages may be uncertain but they are possibly Hamas's last, most potent weapon. As their infrastructure and fighters are being systematically eliminated, Hamas's only hope for survival is the intercession of others — the United States in particular — who could use its influence to stop Israel short of their primary war aim of destroying Hamas.

At the moment, Biden is still — reluctantly — on board. But Biden is in a campaign for re-election and anything is possible if American public opinion changes.
