Hamas threatens to execute hostages as conflict in Gaza deepens

As the conflict in Gaza escalates, Hamas is threatening to start executing hostages if Israel bombs civilians in Gaza. The list of suspected hostages has grown to include children, elderly people, and military service members.

Hamas threatens to execute Israeli hostages after Gaza bombing

Gaza has been bombarded with airstrikes for a second night in a row as an act of retaliation on Hamas. The militant group has threatened it will start executing hostages if the attacks on civilians don't cease. At least 900 people have died in Israel and more than 680 Palestinians have been killed. In local news, a police task force has been set up to identify pro-Palestinian protesters who burned an Israeli flag and lit up flares during a rally at the Opera House.

“Demonstrators chanted ‘700,’ apparently referring to the confirmed number of Israeli fatalities”

This is about good and evil. But that’s what it was always about. It’s just clearer now.

After the torture, rape, and murder of Israeli civilians, the desecration of corpses, and the taking of women and children hostage, Islamists, and leftists proudly stand with Hamas.

Cornel West called “for an end to the vicious U.S.-supported Israeli occupation” while claiming that the rape and murder of Israeli women was the “violent resistance to oppression is the desperate language of an occupied people.”

Jill Stein, the former Green Party candidate who is helping Cornel West’s presidential campaign, tweeted, “When a murderous occupation makes peaceful resistance impossible, it makes violent resistance inevitable.”

“The US-backed Israeli apartheid regime inflicts daily settler violence and terror on Palestinians. Israel is an occupying force. Palestinians have every right to resist it,” Code Pink tweeted.

The Democratic Society of America (DSA), the leftist insurgent group within the Democratic Party linked to the ‘Squad’, clearly picked its side.

The Democratic Socialists of America, which boasts six U.S. House of Representatives as members, announced a pro-“Palestine” rally in New York City’s Times Square on Sunday, a day after Hamas launched a surprise attack that killed 600 Israelis.

“In solidarity with the Palestinian people and their right to resist 75 years of occupation and apartheid,” the New York City chapter of Democratic Socialists of America announced

The various anti-Israel rallies were explicit in support of Hamas.

Pro-Palestinian demonstrators on Sunday in New York celebrated Hamas’s massive deadly terror attack against Israel, as supporters of the Jewish state held rallies to mourn and express outrage over the slaughter.

Several hundred pro-Palestinian demonstrators rallied in Times Square, waving Palestinian flags and chanting “Resistance is justified,” “Globalize the intifada,” and “Smash the settler Zionist state.”

“From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” they chanted.

Among the pro-Palestinian side, the mood was celebratory and spiteful. Demonstrators chanted “700,” apparently referring to the confirmed number of Israeli fatalities in the attack so far, and held up the number seven on their hands while making throat-slitting gestures. Others flashed victory signs with their hands while shouting insults.

One man held up a picture of an Israeli hostage on his phone and waved it at the Israeli crowd. Another was seen brandishing an image of a swastika.

“The oppressed people of Palestine broke out of the open-air prison,” one speaker told the crowd, to cheers.

The press releases from the Muslim Brotherhood in America were equally predictable.

The U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO), which includes CAIR, and claims to be the largest Muslim group in America, condemned Israel while making no mention of Hamas and its atrocities.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a leading Muslim civil rights group, expressed its “support for the Palestinian people’s right to freedom.”

The national chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine, the leading pro-Palestinian college group, said, “Callous oppressors only know the language of destruction.”

“Palestine will not be liberated overnight. Liberation is a long-term process,” the group said on Instagram, falsely referring to Sderot and Netivot, targeted Israeli cities near the border with Gaza, as settlements. “We stand in solidarity with those who are oppressed, colonized, and fighting for liberation.”

Students for Justice in Palestine chapters across the US, including at American University, Rutgers, UC San Diego, the University of Minnesota, and San Jose State University, all celebrated “the resistance.”

In New York, the pro-Palestinian groups Within Our Lifetime, Samidoun, Decolonize This Place, Al-Awda, and others announced rallies on Sunday in Times Square and on Monday at the Israeli consulate “to defend the heroic Palestinian resistance.”

31 organizations at Harvard joined in including the Harvard Islamic Society and other Islamic and allied leftist identity politics groups.

None of this is surprising. The question is how long until it hits home in the United States. This is not just something happening in Israel. It’s part of Islam’s war against the West. The enemy is here. And so are their collaborators.

Republican Presidential hopeful Nikki Haley’s campaign continues to rise through the ranks after raising millions in the third quarter of this year.

Haley’s (R-S.C.) campaign announced on Monday that they have raised over $11 million in the third quarter.

Her campaign said in a statement that the former South Carolina Governor has $11.6 million on hand, with $9.1 million available to be spent in the primary.

With the reported earnings Haley has almost caught up to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.), whose campaign has claimed they raised $15 million in the same quarter, but only has $5 million cash for the primaries.

However, Haley’s rise in donors is still behind former president Donald Trump, whose campaign said they have taken in over $45 million.

Additionally, Haley’s campaign also announced almost 40,000 new donors between July 1st and September 30th.

“We have seen a big surge in support and have real momentum,” said spokesperson Olivia Perez-Cubas. “Nikki is emerging as the candidate who can move America beyond the chaos and drama of the past and present, and we have the resources we need to do it.”

Furthermore, Haley has also risen in the latest polls. Real Clear Politics average shows Haley with 7.2 % national support, behind Desantis’ 12.6% and Trump’s 57.4%.

Haley has recently overtaken DeSantis in the state of New Hampshire, with RealClearPolitics polling averages showing her in second place.

Weapons Biden regime left behind in Afghanistan reached ‘Palestinian’ jihadis in Gaza

“Israel Worries U.S. Weapons for Ukraine Are Ending Up in Iran’s Hands,” by Tom O’Connor, Newsweek, June 15, 2023:

A high-ranking Israel Defense Forces (IDF) commander has told Newsweek that Israel is concerned over the risks of weapons provided by the United States and other Western nations to Ukraine ending up in the hands of Israel’s foes in the Middle East, including Iran.

With experts backing these worries, the situation could mark yet another chapter in a long legacy of U.S. arms shipments being diverted, empowering adversaries of both Israel and the U.S. in another restive region, while the focus of Western governments is on the volatile conflict playing out in Eastern Europe.

The Israeli commander, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the topic, said the diversion of weapons, such as the Javelin shoulder-fired anti-tank missile system, was being monitored by paramilitary forces operating on both sides of the Russia-Ukraine war.

The Israeli commander said pro-Russian formations were motivated to transfer captured U.S.-supplied weapons due to the close defense relationship between Moscow and Tehran, while pro-Ukrainian elements were largely motivated by money to smuggle arms. The commander said the primary route was via the Black Sea to the Mediterranean, and argued that the situation was “very dangerous” due to two primary concerns for Israel.

“One is that they can research capabilities, and then learn how to manufacture them. I’m talking especially about Iran,” the Israeli commander told Newsweek. “The other problem is that we are very worried that some of these capabilities are going to fall to Hezbollah and Hamas’ hands.”…

More recently, the Taliban secured a substantial arsenal of U.S. weapons and equipment, including Black Hawk helicopters, after U.S. forces withdrew from Afghanistan in August 2021. The Israeli commander with whom Newsweek spoke said some of the U.S. small arms seized in Afghanistan have already been observed in the hands of Palestinian groups operating in the Gaza Strip….

Under the radar, Biden regime approved sending $75,000,000 to ‘Palestinians’ the day before jihad massacres

Who paid for the murders of 600 Israelis and the new jihad war against Israel? You did. I did. The Biden regime did, with American taxpayer dollars.

“Under the radar, US approves release of $75m aid to Palestine,” Middle East Monitor, October 6, 2023:

In a quiet move bypassing Republican obstructionism, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has approved the release of $75 million in crucial food assistance for Palestinians just hours before the funds were set to be redistributed elsewhere.

Blinken’s decision came after months of pressure from Democratic lawmakers and dozens of civil society groups, who warned that blocking the aid would create a humanitarian disaster for over one million Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank….

UNRWA thanked Blinken for the funds that will sustain its food distribution through early 2024. “Thank you [Blinken] for providing $75 million in food assistance to Palestine refugees in Gaza! This generous support from the American people will allow UNRWA to continue this critical aspect of its humanitarian and human development work through the end of Q1 2024,” said UNRWA….

Blinken’s approval of the funds came after US Ambassador to the UN, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, announced an additional $73 million in funding to support UNRWA’s core and emergency services….

Secretary of State Blinken Accidentally Admits Biden Admin Funded Attack on Israel

It took little time for people to connect the dots between Joe Biden’s unfreezing of $6 billion in Iranian assets last month — part of a prisoner swap — and the Hamas attack on Israel. Hamas gets funding from Iran, and all the restrictions on how Iran can spend their money are meaningless. In fact, Hamas spokesman Ghazi Hamad told the BBC that Iran did give financial support to Hamas for its surprise attack on Israel, and a senior adviser to Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, confirmed this.

That hasn’t stopped the Biden administration from desperately trying to absolve itself of responsibility for the deadly attack, which has set off yet another war in the region.

“Let’s be clear,” State Department spokesman Matthew Miller wrote on X. “The deal to bring U.S. citizens home from Iran has nothing to do with the horrific attack on Israel. Not a penny has been spent, and when it is, it can only go for humanitarian needs like food and medicine. Anything to the contrary is false.”

Variations of this talking point have been repeated ad nauseam by various members of the Biden administration. One of them was Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who did the rounds on the Sunday morning talk shows to defend the Biden administration. He claimed on ABC’s “This Week” that “not a single dollar from that account has actually been spent to date, and in any event, it’s very carefully and closely regulated by the Treasury Department to make sure that it’s only used for food, for medicine, for medical equipment.”

Cute story, right? Well, that may be the line the administration is pushing, but when Blinken appeared on “Meet The Press,” he let slip some actual truth.

“What do you say about the argument that money is fungible — so Iran may have known this money was coming and used other funds to help fund this attack?” asked host Kristen Welker.

“Iran has unfortunately always used and focused its funds on supporting terrorism, on supporting groups like Hamas,” Blinken replied. “And it’s done that when there have been sanctions, it’s done that when there haven’t been sanctions, and it’s always prioritized that.”

That admission completely undermines the talking points that the Biden administration has been pushing. They unfroze $6 billion for Iran, and Iran funded the Hamas attack. It’s that simple. Per Blinken’s own words, the condition of the money only being used for humanitarian purposes is meaningless. Iran will always use money to fund terrorism.

Exclusively for our VIPs: Obama Is No Longer Hiding His Anti-Semitism

So if the Biden administration knows Iran funds terrorism, why did it unfreeze $6 billion as part of the prisoner exchange last month? There’s no good answer to that — or to the question of why the Obama administration and now the Biden administration are so intent on giving the Iranian regime a pathway to nuclear weapons.

The New York City chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America wasted no time on Sunday showing where their loyalties lie. The New York Post reported that they stomped on and then burned an Israeli flag during a heated exchange with Israeli supporters, and fights were reported. The Post also ran a photo of a young demonstrator on the Palestinian side of the protest holding a picture of a swastika on a cell phone.

The DSA announced the rally slated for Times Square on Saturday, even as the carnage was unfolding in Israel. While the Post noted that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Jamaal Bowman have had ties with the DSA, Gov. Kathy Hochul denounced the rally. At one point, some of the people attending it marched to the Consulate General of Israel on Second Avenue near East 43rd Street, swelling to about 100 by around 5 p.m. They were met with around 200 counter-demonstrators. The Post reported:

“It’s not about Hamas,” Mohammed Radi, a West Bank-born New Jersey resident, told The Post. “It’s about civilian suffering and to stop the killing on both sides.

“I don’t want to see any Jewish people or any Palestinian people killed,” the man said.

Aaron Kirshenbaum, a recent college graduate from Brooklyn who attended the rally with his father, said, “It’s important for Judaism to be divorced from Zionism.

“Being aligned with an oppressive state is extremely limiting,” he said.

One counter-protestor, Richard Friend, commented, “New York is allowing these f–king animals to protest. They just murdered hundreds of innocent Israelis, and now they’re dancing in the streets!”

Hakeem Jeffries issued a statement “strongly and unequivocally” condemning the DSA’s “hate-filled rally” while calling the Hamas attack “barbaric, inhumane, and despicable.” Eric Adams posted on X, “At a moment when innocent people are being slaughtered and children kidnapped in Israel, it is disgusting that this group of extremists would show support for terrorism. New York City rejects this. Do not use our streets to spread your hate.”

The Floridian reported on Sunday that a pro-Israel rally was held in Fort Lauderdale. According to the story, around 200 Israel supporters were confronted by approximately two dozen pro-Palestinian demonstrators, one of whom demanded to be shown proof that Hamas had murdered innocent women and children.

50 officers in riot gear deployed crowd control measures after a fight broke out.

In Utah, police responded to multiple bomb threats to synagogues in different areas of the state. Fox-13 noted that officers had cleared threats to houses of worship in Ogden, Salt Lake, and a mall in St. George.

Reporting on the New York incident, the National Review said that a “red-haired progressive white woman in her 20s” told a Jewish man that the protest was in support of the Palestinians, not Hamas.

Alan Dershowitz told Glenn Beck this morning that one Ivy League school was planning a rally for Palestine, even after the murder, rape, and abduction of innocent people in Israel. Dozens of students at Harvard have placed the blame for Saturday’s attack on Israel. These students, of course, are the ones who will make up the ranks of future lawyers, business leaders, and lawmakers. Keep an eye on Israel, Palestine, and Iran in the next few weeks. And keep an eye on the United States.

Israel’s Counter-Offensive

Will the Israeli military finally be allowed to do whatever it takes?

With the support of the Iranian regime, its terrorist proxy Hamas unleashed horrific attacks on a massive scale against Israeli civilians by land, sea, and air on October 7th. The terrorists launched their savage rampage on the Jewish Sabbath and the holiday of Simchat Torah, committing war crimes and crimes against humanity against defenseless Israeli civilians in what is being called Israel’s 9/11.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared “We are at war, not an operation, not rounds, but at war.” He vowed that Hamas will pay an “unprecedented price,” adding, “We will defeat them to death and take revenge for this black day.”

The war could be on the cusp of widening, with Iran’s Lebanese-based terrorist proxy Hezbollah firing missiles into the northern part of Israel. A two-front war would put all of Israel’s population in mortal danger.

Israel has not faced a war of this magnitude since the Yom Kippur War that Egypt and Syria launched against Israel on October 6, 1973.

Israel’s counteroffensive has already begun. Hopefully, this time the Israeli military will finally do whatever it takes to destroy Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad once and for all, and that Israel will reject any calls for a ceasefire in the interim.

Hamas fired several thousand rockets into Israel from Gaza in one day. The huge barrage overwhelmed Israel’s Iron Dome defense system, which could not prevent some of the rockets from reaching their targets with devastating results. The terrorists also broke through border fences between the Gaza Strip and Israel to carry out their barbaric ground attacks.

The terrorists so far have murdered at least 700 Israelis and wounded many more. Several Americans were also reportedly killed. The terrorists have taken at least 100 hostages, including dozens of American citizens, and transported them to Gaza. In scenes reminiscent of Nazi Germany, the terrorists shot civilians at point-blank range and abducted Israeli women, children, and the elderly from their homes and Israeli streets. Some of the hostages have been reportedly taken into the tunnels beneath Gaza where the Palestinian terrorists store their weaponry, effectively turning the hostages into human shields. No doubt, the hostages who remain alive will serve as bargaining chips for the release of terrorists imprisoned in Israeli jails.

The sub-human terrorists also paraded Israelis’ mutilated bodies in Gaza to cheering crowds of Palestinians.

”The child’s silent cries for the missing parents, the silence of soldiers under siege, and the gunfire breaking out in front of kindergartens and supermarkets in Sderot echo the unspeakable horrors of a conflict that knows no boundaries, a vivid testament to the wanton brutality and ruthlessness of Hamas’s aggression and unprecedented invasion against Israel,” wrote Gregg Roman, Director of the Middle East Forum, in a blog published by the Times of Israel. “The current situation is not just an act of terrorism: it is an invasion, an orchestrated massacre gleaming with the sinister glare of genocidal intent.”

The United Nations Security Council was called into emergency session on Sunday, the day after Hamas’s invasion. Prior to the closed meeting, the Palestinian Authority’s representative to the UN placed all the blame on Israel for the war that the Palestinian Authority’s archrival Hamas initiated. He recited the usual litany of charges against Israel, including that it is “racist” and “colonialist,” that it prefers war and occupation to peace, and that it denies the Palestinians their humanity.

We have seen this movie too many times before. Indeed, UN senior officials are already engaging in their usual exercise of moral equivalence. Once again, they refuse to acknowledge Israel’s moral and legal right of self-defense against the Palestinian terrorists’ systematic invasion and ruthless killings and kidnappings of innocent Israeli civilians.

The spokesperson for UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres issued a statement urging “maximum restraint.”

“I appeal to all sides to stop the fighting immediately and protect civilians everywhere and at all times,” said Martin Griffiths, the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator.

Calls to exercise “maximum restraint” and to “stop the fighting immediately” after Hamas’s massacre and abduction of hundreds of Jews insult the victims and their grieving families and friends. Hamas started this brutal war. Israel must finish it, using all military means to destroy the Palestinian terrorists’ military and intelligence infrastructure, their weapons production capacity and supply lines for weapons parts, and their leaders’ known hideouts (hopefully with the leaders inside). Whatever collateral damage the Palestinian civilian population may suffer as a result is on the Palestinian terrorists’ hands, not Israel’s.

Palestinian terrorists and their enablers will no doubt trot out in the coming days their usual accusations, using doctored photos, that Israel’s forceful military response to the war that Hamas started is inflicting collective punishment on “innocent” Palestinians. Anti-Israel human rights organizations such as Amnesty International, Arab and other Muslim leaders, and UN bureaucrats will amplify this propaganda as they have done so many times before.

The truth is that Hamas, the de facto governing authority in Gaza, is collectively punishing the Palestinian civilians living in Gaza under its rule, not Israel. Hamas has diverted valuable resources from helping to improve Gaza residents’ day-to-day lives to fulfilling the terrorists’ number one priority instead – trying to destroy the Jewish state in a genocidal war. And Hamas has used Palestinian civilians as human shields in this war.

Hamas could not have conducted this kind of complex, multi-dimensional invasion of Israel on its own. It depends on the Iranian regime, the world’s top state sponsor of terrorism, for military, financial, logistics, training, and planning support. There is a report that the Iranian regime’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps coordinated planning for the invasion of Israel with Hamas for weeks before Hamas moved forward with Iran’s blessing.

statement posted on Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s account on social platform X (formerly Twitter) extolled the terrorist attacks on Israel conducted by Hamas: “God willing, the cancer of the usurper Zionist regime will be eradicated at the hands of the Palestinian people and the Resistance forces throughout the region. #AlAqsaStorm”

“In this operation, the element of surprise and other combined methods were used, which show the Palestinian people’s confidence in the face of the occupiers,” said Iran’s ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani as quoted by ISNA, Iran’s semi-official news agency.

The Iranian regime has a common interest with the Palestinian terrorists it supports to scuttle the prospects for a historic normalization of relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia. Hamas’s invasion and Israel’s strong military response have brought the Palestinian issue to the fore, playing into Iran’s hands. The Arab countries, especially Saudi Arabia, are suddenly put on the spot. They are forced to choose between making peace with Israel first before the Palestinians’ demands are fully met or standing with the Palestinians in their fight against the so-called Israeli “occupation.” This strategy appears to be working.

Saudi Arabia is blaming Israel for provoking Hamas to attack. “The kingdom calls for an immediate halt to the escalation between the two sides, the protection of civilians, and restraint,” the Saudi Foreign Ministry said on the day of Hamas’s bloody invasion. “The Kingdom recalls its repeated warnings of the dangers of the explosion of the situations as a result of the continued occupations, the deprivation of the Palestinian people of their legitimate rights, and the repeating of systematic provocation against its sanctities.”

President Biden expressed strong support for Israel. He said that his “administration’s support for Israel’s security is rock solid and unwavering.” He warned that “This is not a moment for any party hostile to Israel to exploit these attacks to seek advantage.”

A good sign is that the Pentagon is sending military assets to the Eastern Mediterranean region in a show of support for Israel. However, the Biden administration had made it easier for the Iranian regime to finance Hamas’s terrorist activities in the first place. The Biden administration freed up $6 billion in frozen funds as part of a prisoner exchange deal, a windfall that Iran can spend without any real accountability. Moreover, the Biden administration has allowed Iran to sell much more oil than it would have been able to do if the sanctions had been strongly enforced. The Biden administration’s lax enforcement has resulted in an extra bonanza of nearly $30 billion dollars in revenue.

President Biden still has a chance to at least partially reverse the perception that he is a weak leader and appeaser. He must remain steadfast in supporting Israel’s right to defend itself for however long it takes and must authorize special operations missions to free the American citizens held captive by the Hamas terrorists.
