Accusing Amy Mek of Islamophobia, Shukri Abdullahi Abdirahman brandishes a dangerous weapon that threatens her safety and aims to stifle free speech.

In a startling turn of events, former GOP candidate Shukri Abdullahi Abdirahman has launched a scathing attack on Amy Mek, the founder of RAIR Foundation USA, with potential life-threatening implications. This deliberate assault highlights the grave dangers of weaponizing accusations and threats within the political landscape, leaving Amy Mek and her organization at risk.

The incident began when Amy Mek shared a video featuring a French imam’s statements on the conquest of France through jihad. Responding to the tweet, Elon Musk made a statement that seemingly endorsed the imam’s views, sparking controversy. However, the subsequent actions of the GOP candidate escalated the situation to a dangerous level.

Amy Mek expressed gratitude to Musk for bringing attention to her work. It is important to note that Amy’s Twitter account has faced censorship from the German and French governments since 2017, adding further context to the situation.

Shukri Abdullahi Abdirahman’s Dangerous Criticism

However, this exchange did not go without criticism from an Islamic supremacist. Shukri Abdullahi Abdirahman, a former controversial Republican House candidate who vied for the party nomination in Minnesota’s 5th District, took issue with Musk’s comment on one of Amy’s tweets. Accusing her of Islamophobia, Shukri, a sharia-adherent Somali migrant, unleashed a torrent of incendiary and potentially harmful accusations. With what appears to be a deliberate intent to fuel anger, she potentially incited her more fanatical followers to consider enacting a Sharia punishment on Amy Mek.

The Dangerous Power of Accusations

The concept of freedom of speech has long served as a safeguard against tyrannical authority, allowing individuals to question and criticize both religious and political institutions. Throughout history, from Galileo challenging the cosmology of the Church to modern-day debates, the right to critique has played a crucial role in maintaining a balance of power, especially in the face of religious and political authorities that often seek to exert control. However, a relatively new term, “Islamophobia,” has emerged, rooted in neo-Marxist ideology, which aims to stifle religious criticism and ultimately curtail dissent against political authority and its policies.

In today’s world, the accusation of Islamophobia carries deeply alarming significance, especially when made by an accuser with a standing in the Islamic community. It has become a potential death sentence as more and more individuals across the Western world live under constant threats of violence or have already paid the ultimate price for daring to express critical views about Islam. Journalists, politicians, authors, artists, cartoonists, and teachers all face the specter of death or living under police protection due to the dangers associated with speaking out against how Islam demands itself to be represented. The weight of these accusations can be immense and often is tantamount to pointing a loaded gun at the accused.

Accusing someone of Islamophobia has become a powerful weapon capable of inciting violence and even murder. The term holds immense sway, igniting anger, intimidation, and physical harm. It also provides justification for any fanatic seeking personal gain by “defending the faith.” An accusation of Islamophobia is akin to a “Wanted dead or alive” poster from the Old West, inviting anyone to seek retribution for material or spiritual rewards.

It is crucial to note that in countries like Pakistan, where many migrants in the West originate from, accusations of blasphemy can lead to brutal public executions without fair trials. This culture of vigilantism, deeply rooted in religious beliefs, has extended its influence into Western societies, further exacerbating the risks associated with accusations of Islamophobia. These risks should not be underestimated, as they have the potential to destroy lives and tear communities apart.

Manipulation by Political Figures

The danger intensifies when political figures, candidates, or activist journalists exploit the accusation of Islamophobia for their own agendas. By labeling individuals as Islamophobes, these figures knowingly manipulate public sentiment, fueling anger and inciting a mentality of seeking retribution against the accused. This becomes particularly troubling when the accuser is a self-proclaimed Sharia-adherent GOP candidate. The consequences of such actions cannot be understated, as they directly threaten the lives and well-being of those targeted.

Living Under Constant Threat

Those accused of Islamophobia must live in constant fear, often requiring police protection and altering their daily routines to ensure their safety. They face the grim reality of death threats, forced anonymity, and the loss of their freedom to openly express their opinions. Their lives are characterized by the need to constantly watch their backs, anticipating potential attacks or acts of violence by extremists who perceive any criticism of Islam as an affront to their beliefs and a threat to Islamic primacy. The toll on their mental and emotional well-being is immeasurable as they navigate a world filled with uncertainty and the constant threat of harm.

The Tragic Losses and the Role of Migration

Countless lives have been tragically lost due to accusations of Islamophobia. From Lars Vilks, the Swedish cartoonist who perished in a car accident alongside his police guards, to the targeted killings of Charlie Hebdo staff and the attempted assassination of Salman Rushdie, the repercussions of these accusations are devastating. Writers, journalists, activists, poets, clergy, secular thinkers, cartoonists, teachers, students, politicians, and artists who dared to challenge the boundaries imposed by Islamic supremacists have paid the ultimate price. Their deaths serve as a haunting reminder of the dangers faced by those who refuse to be silenced. It is crucial to acknowledge that migration from countries where accusations of blasphemy carry severe consequences plays a role in importing the cultural dynamics that perpetuate violence and intolerance.

The Return of the ‘Mary Poppins of Disinformation’

The decision by a federal court judge last week that limited Biden Administration contacts with social media companies has resulted in the most panicked hand-wringing by the left since the Dobbs decision made abortion a matter for individual states to decide.

In essence, the left thinks you’re all too stupid to know when you’re being manipulated by charlatans and snake oil salesmen, and they worry that this “disinformation” (opposing viewpoints) will get in the way of their control of the narrative.

Perhaps many of you are, indeed, so gullible and so ignorant that you can’t tell the difference between “truth” and “disinformation.” Even if that dubious supposition was true, is it the government’s job to instruct you on what you should believe or accept as “fact”?

This is the reason for the First Amendment. And no matter how outrageous information can get, no matter how many people’s feelings get hurt, and no matter which side is deliberately misleading or falsifying the records or history of opposing politicians, any hindrance or characterization of such speech as “disinformation” is more dangerous than any scenario the left can come up with that “threatens democracy.”

It’s just too easy, too simple to declare some information “disinformation” when there’s literally no objective standard to judge the efficacy of most statements on the internet. Claiming that information from Hunter Biden’s laptop was “Russian disinformation” did more damage to democracy than any ten wildman theories of COVID-19.

In the end, one side of the partisan divide gets to make those judgments. And since the left is already infused with a righteousness that allows it to justify censorship of speech on a wide variety of topics because it doesn’t comport with left-wing ideology, the extraordinary danger of appealing to an invisible standard of “disinformation” should be self-evident.

Nina Jankowicz, the self-described “Mary Poppins of Disinformation,” is on a crusade to frighten policymakers into severely cracking down on speech to “save democracy.”

Jankowicz, you may recall, was slated to head up the Biden Administration’s “Disinformation Board,” which it was promised, wouldn’t stifle free speech in the slightest — except when she and her “Disinformation Board” decided it did.

When the video of Jankowicz performing a parody of the Mary Poppins song “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious,” went viral, her nomination to serve as “Disinformation Czar” became toast.

Jankowicz didn’t see her embarrassing and unbalanced performance as the cause of her downfall. She thought it was right-wingers who wanted to continue using disinformation who derailed her candidacy.

“There were these crazy accusations being made that had no basis in reality,” Jankowicz said. “But still, the administration crumpled. They ceded that territory.”

Politico:

It never got off the ground. The board — and Jankowicz herself — came under immediate attack from GOP lawmakers and conservative influencers who cast it as the start of a “Ministry of Truth”-style censorship operation. That framing was adopted by conservative outlets, as The Washington Post chronicled at the time, prompting all manner of threats directed at Jankowicz.

For weeks, the administration struggled to defend against the onslaught. Then, it gave in. The board was “paused,” and Jankowicz became a fixture on Fox News. Postings she’d made on social media platforms ricocheted from cable to the internet and back. Eventually, she resigned, and three months later the entire project was dissolved.

Jankowicz argued that the cabal of right-wingers who ruined her shot at glory as Disinformation Czar was actually trying to “undermine trust in government.” That’s nonsense, of course. There were people on the right pushing back on a false narrative on the pandemic, COVID-19, and what they saw as a stolen election. None of that threatened democracy as much as it threatened the government’s monopoly on information — information that turned out, in many instances, to be knowingly false and misleading.

“It’s going to scare civil servants who are working on these issues from, frankly, doing their jobs,” Jankowicz said. She added: “It might come with great personal danger, as I’ve seen in my case.”

There is no place for civil servants to be deciding what’s true and what isn’t. No one gave them that kind of power. It sure as hell isn’t in the Constitution. Judge Terry A. Doughty’s order will probably be modified on appeal, but it’s certainly a welcome shot across the bow to information control freaks like Jankowicz.

I’ll take “stupid international diplomacy” for $500, Alex. As the Biden administration continues to try and curry favor from the genocidal Chinese Communist Party (CCP), CCP dictator Xi Jinping is ordering his army to step up military preparations.

We’re already in a proxy war with Russia in Ukraine, making one foolish move after another (to the detriment of the Ukrainians), including our latest plan to violate international norms by sending cluster bombs to Ukraine. Meanwhile, the CCP, which has repeatedly threatened military action against the U.S., is stepping up military activity even as its Premier Li Qiang facetiously avows intentions for “peace.”

As U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen panders to the CCP in China soon after Secretary of State Antony Blinken visited China and parroted CCP propaganda, the CCP can tell that the Biden administration is weak and out of touch with reality.

From The Epoch Times, July 7:

Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leader Xi Jinping urged the regime’s military to deepen war and combat planning, as Sino-U.S. relations continue to sour and the tension in the Taiwan Strait intensifies…[Xi] required the military to “deepen war and combat planning to increase the chances of victory in actual combat.”

Chang Yanting, former deputy commander of Taiwan’s Air Force and visiting professor at Tsinghua University in Taiwan, spoke to Epoch Times about why both America and Taiwan should be worried, and how the current international situation fuels the preparations.

“It’s including the military tensions between the United States and mainland China, as well as economic wars, financial wars, trade wars, technology wars, and so on,” Chang explained. “The CCP is now emphasizing ‘deepening war and combat planning,’ which is envisioning the United States as its opponent, intending to deter the United States from intervention in the Taiwan Strait.”

Chang added that “the Taiwanese cannot take it lightly. Especially the United States believes that 2025 to 2027 is the most dangerous time for Taiwan.” While Taiwan would almost certainly have multiple nations backing it up to greater or lesser degrees (though the U.S. is changing its tune already), a good deal of bloodshed could still occur.

The CCP recently warned Taiwan and any U.S. troops helping Taiwan they were “within range” of “firepower.” It could be empty blowhard-ing… or not. After all, the CCP has infiltrated America’s institutions and even its government, possibly up to the Biden family itself. There are even reports that the sudden flood of military-age Chinese migrants at the southern U.S. border is a covert invasion of America. The CCP is preparing for war. Are we?

The CCP has killed 500 million or more of their own people, and they are certainly America’s number one enemy. We had better start taking the threat of war with China seriously because the CCP certainly is.
