Happy Friday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends, Shawna never failed to please the quilting bee with her Spam snacks.

The thoroughly racist policy known as affirmative action was finally given a groin kick by the Supreme Court of the United States. Once again, thank you, President Trump.

Predictably, the lefties lost their tiny minds over this. They quiver themselves into fits when their racism isn’t protected by law. They have to keep minority voters in lockstep place, after all.

Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson (I still want to type “Jackson Brown” because I’m a kid from the ’70s) wrote a dissenting opinion that proved why she should not be on the Court. She is part of President LOLEightyonemillion’s ongoing promise to give black women high-profile jobs. For any lefties out there who want to scream, “RAAAAAACISMMMM!” I will say this: The United States of America is blessed with millions upon millions of brilliant black women. The Democrats just don’t seem to know any of them.

Joe Biden managed to do something that most thought was impossible: he nominated a woman to the Supreme Court who is dumber than Sonia Sotomayor. Props, Big Guy, that was quite the task.

Justice Brown Jackson’s dissenting opinion was absolutely torn apart by one of the greatest Americans in history: Justice Clarence Thomas. Matt wrote the story for us:

“Accordingly, JUSTICE JACKSON’s race-infused world view falls flat at each step. Individuals are the sum of their unique experiences, challenges, and accomplishments,” Thomas wrote. “What matters is not the barriers they face, but how they choose to confront them. And their race is not to blame for everything—good or bad—that happens in their lives. A contrary, myopic world view based on individuals’ skin color to the total exclusion of their personal choices is nothing short of racial determinism.”

Oh, but he wasn’t done yet.

“JUSTICE JACKSON then builds from her faulty premise to call for action, arguing that courts should defer to ‘experts’ and allow institutions to discriminate on the basis of race,” Thomas continued. “Make no mistake: Her dissent is not a vanguard of the innocent and helpless. It is instead a call to empower privileged elites, who will ‘tell us [what] is required to level the playing field’ among castes and classifications that they alone can divine. […] Then, after siloing us all into racial castes and pitting those castes against each other, the dissent somehow believes that we will be able—at some undefined point—to “march forward together” into some utopian vision.”

BOOM.

Clarence Thomas made his way to where he is solely on merit. Black American conservatives are routinely smeared by racist Democrats as “Uncle Toms” (which is completely wrong because none of them have ever read the book) and disparaged as being “race traitors.”

Don’t wander away and do whatever you want to, Minority Voter, or we’ll do everything we can to ruin you.

I don’t have much faith in our institutions anymore, but the fact that Clarence Thomas is still on the Supreme Court gives me a little hope.

In a long-awaited decision on Thursday, the Supreme Court declared that affirmative action policies are unconstitutional because they violate the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment. As you can expect, The court was split on ideological lines. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, Joe Biden’s affirmative action pick for the Supreme Court, blasted the majority opinion in her dissenting opinion.

“With let-them-eat-cake obliviousness, today, the majority pulls the ripcord and announces “colorblindness for all” by legal fiat. But deeming race irrelevant in law does not make it so in life,” she claimed. “And having so detached itself from this country’s actual past and present experiences, the Court has now been lured into interfering with the crucial work that UNC and other institutions of higher learning are doing to solve America’s real-world problems.”

“No one benefits from ignorance,” she continued. “Although formal race-linked legal barriers are gone, race still matters to the lived experiences of all Americans in innumerable ways, and today’s ruling makes things worse, not better. The best that can be said of the majority’s perspective is that it proceeds (ostrich-like) from the hope that preventing consideration of race will end racism.”

Jackson obviously has no problem advancing through life based on the color of her skin rather than on merit. Joe Biden promised to appoint a black female justice to the Supreme Court and followed through. He may have picked someone who doesn’t know what a female is, but he picked her nonetheless. As one could have easily assumed, she’s no different that the usual race hustlers of the radical left, and she got called out on it by none other than Justice Clarence Thomas in his concurring opinion.

Thomas went on to accuse Jackson of using race-based stereotypes in her dissent and never seemed to pull a punch to shred her dissent to pieces.

Though JUSTICE JACKSON seems to think that her race- based theory can somehow benefit everyone, it is an immutable fact that “every time the government uses racial criteria to ‘bring the races together,’ someone gets excluded, and the person excluded suffers an injury solely because of his or her race.” […] Indeed, JUSTICE JACKSON seems to have no response—no explanation at all—for the people who will shoulder that burden. How, for example, would JUSTICE JACKSON explain the need for race-based preferences to the Chinese student who has worked hard his whole life, only to be denied college admission in part because of his skin color? If such a burden would seem difficult to impose on a bright-eyed young person, that’s because it should be. History has taught us to abhor theories that call for elites to pick racial winners and losers in the name of sociological experimentation.

“This vision of meeting social racism with government-imposed racism is thus self-defeating, resulting in a never-ending cycle of victimization,” his response to Jackson concluded. “There is no reason to continue down that path. In the wake of the Civil War, the Framers of the Fourteenth Amendment charted a way out: a colorblind Constitution that requires the government to, at long last, put aside its citizens’ skin color and focus on their individual achievements.”

Drop that mic, Justice Thomas; you nailed it.

PA STATE REPRESENTATIVE STEPHANIE BOROWICZ: No Money for Harvesting Child Body Parts

Last week, I joined my colleagues in blocking funding for Penn State University, University of Pittsburgh University, and Temple University. Funding for these institutions is done together as a block and also requires a 2/3 majority of the House for passage.

My primary opposition to this funding is the University of Pittsburgh’s (Pitt) use of aborted baby parts for research. At Pitt, aborted babies are being scalped and grafted onto rodents, and lymphoid tissues and hematopoietic stem cells from the liver of the aborted baby are being grafted onto rodents.

To make this even more sick and depraved, they have set up a “farm” for baby human body parts as the University of Pittsburgh (Pitt) and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) jointly operate a Pitt Tissue Bank, which supplies aborted fetal organs and tissue to Pitt researchers.

Moreover, Pitt/UPMC has multiple Planned Parenthood abortion providers on staff performing abortions and training medical students to do so. Planned Parenthood abortion providers admitted on undercover cameras that they provide fetal tissue to the Pitt/UPMC fetal tissue bank.

But there is more: The House Freedom Caucus, of which I am a member, also discovered prior to this budget proposal that a Penn State Health Children’s Hospital policy would prescribe puberty blockers to children under the age of 10.

I was disgusted but sadly am no longer shocked, that the depravity of chemically castrating and butchering children’s bodies in the name of transgenderism would be policy in a “higher education” system that already trafficks in aborted baby parts.

The policy reads, “The clinic’s pediatric endocrinologist provides puberty-blocking medications, cares for people with differences of sexual development, and cares for patients who are young than 10 years old.”

Once a child starts down this path of chemicals and surgery, there is no return to human normalcy. They become big-Pharma drug addicts for life and revolving door sex change operations. It’s both sick and heartbreaking.

There are no words sufficient to condemn the crimes of some demonic creeps. A Ukrainian “charity worker” was reportedly caught trying to buy a baby to harvest and sell its organs—a horrific business transaction he carried out with success with other children.

Actor Jim Caviezel, star of the soon-to-be-released movie on child trafficking Sound of Freedom, and show host Steve Bannon have warned that child trafficking in the Americas includes harvesting and selling kids’ organs. It seems, tragically, that it isn’t a crime specific to this hemisphere. Human Events reported on the “charity worker” detained in Ukraine after being exposed for alleged human trafficking activities.

The 43-year-old man from the Transcarpathian Oblast reportedly had offered a mother $5,000 and given a down payment of $1,000 for the woman’s 11-month-old baby. The man claimed “he would ensure a family in Europe would adopt him to live away from the war in the Eastern European country” of Ukraine, but his real purpose was allegedly far more sinister (emphasis added):

The man was seen detained with a female accomplice at the Ukraine-Slovakia border. The man was arrested for attempted human trafficking and faces up to 15 years in prison.

The boy was rescued, but the man is suspected to have sold three other children under the same pretext.

Ukrainian journalist Vitaliy Glagola said the man “had been looking for parents who were ready to sell their child for organs,” according to the Daily Mail.

The ”charity worker” reportedly planned to sell the baby to other traffickers for $25,000. “Law enforcement officers have operational information that this was not for adoption to the EU, and the child was to have been sold to [illegal] organ transplanters,” Glagola explained the disturbing plan.

Human Events also cited Karolina Wierzbinska, a coordinator at the human rights organization Homo Faber in Poland. Wierzbinska said that she has witnessed couples and teams of potential human traffickers trying to lure refugees to Poland from Ukraine into their cars. Just like at the southern U.S. border, the borders of war-torn Ukraine are seemingly scenes of constant machinations from human traffickers. These traffickers, like the “charity worker” described above, are taking advantage of vulnerable refugees.

”[We see teams] waiting for people arriving from Ukraine and pretending to offer rides or lodging to women distressed and exhausted from their journey,” Wierzbinska stated. “We’re also seeing multiple couples, typically a male and female, having traveled to the border by car, attempting to lure women using similar tactics. We intervene in such cases by approaching the person acting suspiciously and asking them to register in our volunteer directory — in response to which they typically run away.”

How many human traffickers, including illegal organ harvesters, are operating along the borders of Ukraine? What is being done to stop them? And is the same appalling crime happening along our own U.S. border?

 

Yes, Joe Biden Using a CPAP Machine to Help Him Sleep Is a Big Deal

Joe Biden appeared in public on Wednesday and displayed some curious marks on his face.

The fact that the marks are still visible 4 or 5 hours after the president supposedly wakes up raises an urgent question. The White House says that Biden wears the CPAP mask because he suffers from sleep apnea — a common sleeping disorder afflicting around 20 million Americans, as the White House hurriedly tried to explain.

That’s very true. Sleep apnea is common. But for an 80-year-old man, it can be serious.

Obstructive sleep apnea, or OSA, “occurs when a blockage in the airway prevents the patient from breathing while sleeping, causing the patient’s blood-oxygen levels to drop. This pattern, medically known as an apneic episode, triggers a ‘survival reflex’ in the brain, causing the patient to wake up in order to respond to the emergency and begin breathing,” according to the Washington Examiner.

According to the Sleep Foundation, you can die from sleep apnea. “Observational research has found that OSA increases a person’s risk of sudden death. This risk is believed to be higher in people of older age, in people with a critical illness, and in people with severe OSA.”

So a condition that could seriously impact the president’s health — even lead to his death — went unmentioned in White House physician Kevin O’Connor’s summary of the president’s health following his most recent examination in February.

In 2008, Politico reported that Biden “has suffered from atrial fibrillation, or an irregular heartbeat,” which doctors said was probably “linked to Biden’s reoccurring problem of sleep apnea.” That was 15 years ago when Biden was running for vice president. Shouldn’t the White House doctor have updated the country on the president’s condition last February?

Failing to treat his sleep apnea with a CPAP machine—for more than a decade—may have put Biden at increased risk for dementia, studies show.

That’s because untreated sleep apnea leads to intermittent oxygen deprivation in the brain, causing certain brain cells to die. Those brain cells are among the same cells “that we know die in dementia,” according to Australian neuroscientist Elizabeth Coulson. As a result, Coulson and her coauthors found in a recent study, untreated sleep apnea can lead to increased risk of dementia.

“Sleep apnea is associated with a significantly increased risk of dementia, particularly for Alzheimer’s disease,” claimed a 2022 study published in the National Library of Medicine. Another study published in May in the American Academy of Neurology’s medical journal found that people “with sleep apnea who spend less time in deep sleep are more likely to have brain health problems that could lead to dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or a stroke.”

Biden’s recent troubling and embarrassing errors of fact– saying that Putin was “losing the war in Iraq — are becoming frightening. Let’s not forget this man could launch a couple of thousand nuclear weapons. And if he didn’t have a good night’s sleep? Knowing what the White House has known for months, is it possible that Joe Biden no longer has control of America’s nuclear arsenal? Who the hell is in charge?

Frankly, I’m sick of being lied to about Joe Biden’s health. We understand the political ramifications of Biden being incapacitated or unable to perform his duties. Democrats are worried about 2024. And considering the state of the world and the state of the economy, they damn well should be.

But have we all gotten so far off the rails that doing what’s right for the country takes second place to personal ambition or maintaining power for a political party?

The White House needs to come clean about the president’s infirmities. And if they’re serious enough, Biden should step down.

Every so often, we hear about a progressive Christian leader who says something outrageous and downright heretical. The latest case is Rev. Rachel Small Stokes, pastor of Immanuel United Church of Christ in Louisville, Ky. The United Church of Christ is a far-left denomination; it’s actually the denomination where Barack and Michelle Obama attended church when they lived in Chicago — until his toxic pastor began hogging the headlines.

In an undated clip courtesy of Woke Preacher Clips on Twitter (an essential follow), Stokes has her congregation stand and recite what she calls “The Sparkle Creed.”

 

Here’s the text of the creed, which Stokes wrote herself in 2021:

I believe in the non-binary God whose pronouns are plural.

I believe in Jesus Christ, their child, who wore a fabulous tunic and had two dads, and who saw everyone as a sibling child of God.

I believe in the rainbow Spirit, who shatters our image of one white light and refracts it into a rainbow of gorgeous diversity.

I believe in the church of everyday saints, as numerous, creative, and resilient as patches on the AIDS quilt, whose feet are grounded in mud and whose eyes gaze at the stars in Wonder.

I believe in the calling to each of us, that love is love is love, so beloved, let us love.

I believe, glorious God. Help my unbelief.

Amen.

Yes, it’s ridiculous, and yes, it’s a prime example of what happens when churches defer to ever-changing culture over the timeless truth of scripture. Progressive Christianity has taken over many of the so-called “mainline denominations,” and it’s why these denominations are on the decline.

Over at HotAir, my colleague David Strom wrote about this phenomenon, and he asserts that wokeness in some churches is proof of the “decline of Christianity,” as his headline suggests. He writes:

Christianity still exists, but for the most part, it is subordinate to the larger culture rather than driving it. Catholicism, more by its nature as the world’s oldest bureaucracy and its centralization than through stubbornness and adherence to the Word, remains countercultural to some extent. Protestant churches–not all, but vast numbers–are now gathering places for the “spiritually woke.”

This is a gross generalization, and not a knock on Protestantism as an idea. It is, however, true that Protestant churches have much greater theological flexibility because Luther argued that every man is his own priest. Doctrine is a slippery idea without a bureaucracy to back it up.

He makes a bit of a fair point, but I must respectfully disagree with part of his premise. First of all, “vast numbers” is a bit of an exaggeration. I don’t have exact numbers — and I’m sure David doesn’t either — but progressive Christians like Rev. Stokes are a minority in the faith.

To suggest that Protestantism is some sort of “Wild West” of theology that serves as a breeding ground for ideas like these may be fair to a certain point, but we can’t blame Protestantism for the United Church of Christ and other progressive pockets of Christianity.

Sure, Protestantism is a “big tent,” to borrow the political terminology, and while there are plenty of theological perspectives across denominations and non-denominational churches, the vast majority of Protestants agree on the basic tenets of Christianity, and we even share most of those common beliefs with our Catholic brothers and sisters, which is why I’m excited that my friend and colleague Stephen Kruiser and I are discussing faith issues monthly on the Kruiser Kabana podcast.

However, heterodox ideas — from theological liberalism to downright heresy — have been a small part of the fabric of Christianity since shortly after the church began, both in Protestantism and Catholicism. The early church fathers were constantly putting out fires of heresy as they worked to solidify the basics of orthodoxy. Unfortunately, as long as fallible humans are part of the church, we’ll always have pockets of heresy here and there.

But does all of this signal the “decline of Christianity”? Far from it. While the American church is sadly on the downslope, the church in places like Asia and Africa is on fire, the flames stoked by persecution. Besides, Christians know that, while we might lose some of the battles, God wins the war:

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. At a “pride” parade celebrating gay, trans, and +++ people in Seattle over the weekend, some were amused while others were shocked and thoroughly disgusted by a contingent of mostly male exhibitionists who rode bikes buck naked. The men, waving their dingle dangles and freak flags, rode bikes to strike a blow for pedal-philes everywhere — or something.

They also think it’s really rude of you to notice and comment on it.

The crack news team over at Seattle’s KOMO 4 News, who grew up in a time of anything goes until the cops come, doesn’t understand that indecent exposure is a crime. This is exemplified by a story entitled, “Reports of nudity at Seattle’s Pride events draws attention but no official complaints.” It details that “beyond not wearing their clothes, the people apparently caused no problems.” This is like standing in front of an inferno and swearing that, sure, the riot was fiery but it was mostly peaceful.

Since it’s obvious that the main idea behind “pride” is being proud of same-sex attraction and the consummation of said attraction, sex is basically what a peloton of peddling perverts is all about. But don’t you dare question their motives.

The website for the organization notes that the “This LGBTQIA+ reunion” — reunion? — is a “free, fun, community-wide celebration advancing awareness of LGBTQIA+ issues and promoting mutual respect and equal human rights for all.”

We’re pretty sure no self-respecting person believes “mutual respect and equal human rights” are served by the awareness of naked men shaking their private parts in public. Usually, a “community” is made up of an array of decent people sans perverts, but what happened on Saturday was a civic embarrassment at the very least.  Usually, this behavior will get you a trip to jail or a star turn on “To Catch a Predator.”

In fact, community standards being what they are, or at least used to be, this is indecent behavior, most especially in front of children — or with children, as you’ll see in this video:

In what world does anyone take pride in bicycling naked in public with a child?

And when is it appropriate for naked men to play in the pubic water feature where children play?

These men know it’s not appropriate, and they get some weird pleasure from exposing themselves in front of children. It’s wrong. Does the act of being naked in public provide them some sexual pleasure from the shock value? Maybe these weirdos should ask Joe Biden’s daughter, who blames her sex addiction on her dad showering with her at an inappropriate age.

Nudity is legal in Seattle. But indecent exposure, which this appears to be, is against the law.

In Washington, a person commits the crime of indecent exposure if that person intentionally exposes himself or herself – or exposes someone else – in a manner that is “open and obscene” while knowing such conduct will probably cause “reasonable affront or alarm” to any observers.

To convict someone of indecent exposure, a prosecutor must prove each of these four “elements” of the crime:

Intentionality: A person may be convicted of indecent exposure only if the exposure was intentional.
Knowing the exposure may cause affront or alarm: It does not have to be a perpetrator’s intent to cause affront or alarm. It’s enough that the perpetrator was aware that affront or alarm would probably occur.

Exposure: This is the most obvious element of the crime, but simple nudity alone, whether partial or total, does not constitute indecent exposure.

An open and obscene manner: There must be an open and obscene level or manner of exposure. The law explicitly spells out that breastfeeding in public is not “obscene” and does not constitute indecent exposure.

Question: are any alarm bells going off for anyone about this?

And what’s worse is that the city embraces this kind of behavior in the name of equity or something.  When is it ever OK for strange adults to expose themselves to children in public — and get sponsorships for doing it? Talking to you, Starbucks, you whackadoodledoos.

We’re sorry to report, however, that things are going to get worse. The weekend before this “pride” event, the Seattle naked bike ride took place.  As you can imagine, it was more of this type of behavior.

Both the event and the slogan were stolen from other cities in the name of originality.

Portland’s naked bike ride occurs in the evening, but riders start earlier in the daytime and ride through neighborhoods — to get a rise out of the neighbors. There’s just something about the gasps and shocked looks from Portlanders and their children that get these pedal-philes off. After the ride, several of Portland’s “naked friendly” watering holes open their doors to accommodate the weirdos. Streets are closed. Police are tasked with performing traffic control to keep naked bicycle riders safe. As usual, Portland protects its weirdos.

“Clothing is optional but helmets and shoes are still recommended,” writes a local news outlet. Intersectionality has its privileges.

When I was a kid, my friends and I were walking through a local park on the way to school. A man was there, holding his outie to get a reaction out of us. He did it for sexual pleasure. But instead of being affirmed for being a sex pervert predating upon children, he would have been arrested. Times have changed.

Gaetz & Greene Attempt To Zero Out ATF Director’s Paycheck

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Reps. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) plan to take on the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) overreach by hitting Director Steve Dettlebach where it hurts most, the pocketbook. The two members of the pro-gun House Freedom Caucus plan to take Congressional action to attempt to zero out Dettlebach’s paycheck.

The two Republicans announced the move on Monday at a field hearing in Florida, where people talked about the ATF’s abuse of power. The Bureau has been criticized for tactics many consider heavy-handed and intended to make an environment hostile to the gun industry and firearms owners. Under the Biden administration’s anti-gun plan, the ATF has used its power to curtail the Constitutionally protected rights of Americans to bear arms. These attacks on Americans’ rights include the reclassification of pistols with stabilizing devices as short-barreled rifles that must be registered with the federal government in accordance with the National Firearms Act of 1934 (NFA). Another attack is the ATF’s attempt to shut down the American tradition of making your own firearm. The ATF changed rules to reclassify unfinished frames and receivers as firearms reversing a history of ATF classification letters.

Multiple federal courts have determined the ATF violated the Administrative Procedures Act (APA) and the rule of lenity by instituting the new rules. Multiple injunctions have been issued by District and Circuit courts blocking the new rules from affecting a large percentage of the population. Although the battle continues, most legal scholars do not think the rules will hold up.

The ATF has also launched an attack on federal firearms licensees (FFL). FFL revocation has increased under Dettlebach’s leadership by a mind-boggling 500%. The ATF has started stripping gun stores of their right to sell guns for minor paperwork errors. The ATF claim to be an industry partner with gun shops, but under Dettlebach’s reign, the Bureau has taken an adversarial role. Many in the industry think President Joe Biden is using the ATF to make it harder for Americans to exercise their constitutionally protected rights.

The ATF has also shown up in force at a local Georgia gun store with out-of-state industry operation inspectors for a massive inspection. The inspection was so out of the ordinary that Rep Taylor Greene responded to the country’s largest gun shop to confront the agents about the inspection. Rep. Taylor Green saw this ATF inspection as ATF overreach.

Rep. Gaetz said the move to eliminate the ATF director’s salary was to “constrain resources that would otherwise be used to put people out of business and to harm our fellow Americans.”

The duo plan on using the Holman Rule to eliminate Dettlebach’s paycheck. The Holman Rule lets members of Congress add amendments to spending bills that can reduce or eliminate funding for programs already authorized by Congress. The act also includes the elimination of salaries for certain government employees, including Directors of federal agencies.

The Holman Rule was resurrected by Speaker of The House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) as a part of a deal with the House Freedom Caucus during tense negotiation during McCarthy’s bid to capture the Speaker’s gavel. The Freedom Caucus has increased its power in recent years and has used that power to force votes on things such as disavowing the ATF’s pistol brace rule.

It is unknown if the move to zero out Dettlebach’s paycheck will succeed, but it does show a willingness to confront the ATF by certain House members, and those members call the ATF’s top brass to the carpet.

Bidenites Increase Aid to Relentlessly Antisemitic UNRWA

Didn’t Joe Biden just reveal to the world, to great fanfare, his administration’s “first ever national strategy to combat antisemitism”? And then, just a few weeks later, the State Department announced an increase in aid to UNRWA, one of the foremost spreaders of antisemitism in the world.

The US Department of State has increased its 2023-24 contribution to the UN agency assisting Palestinian refugees despite widespread concern that antisemitism and jihadi violence is openly taught in schools it administers in the Palestinian territories.

It’s not just a “concern” – it’s a fact that “antisemitism and jihadi violence” are taught in UNRWA’s schools, and not only the schools in the Palestinian territories, but in UNRWA schools all over the Middle East.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), founded in 1949 to provide humanitarian and social services to Palestinian refugees, will receive an additional $16.2 million this year, the State Department announced on Wednesday, bringing the total dollar amount it will rake in from the US under a framework agreement finalized in April to $223 million. Since 2021, the US has provided UNRWA $940 million….

The announcement that UNRWA will receive still more money from the Bidenites – even though it was only an additional $16.2 million – is infuriating. It’s not just the money; it’s the principle. Raising the aid given to UNRWA shows the disconnect between Biden’s rhetoric about combatting antisemitism (with input from, among other doubtful groups, CAIR) and his administration’s actions. The Bidenites show their determination to ignore UNRWA’s relentless antisemitism even as the administration is full of self-congratulation about its “national strategy to combat antisemitism.”

In May, Congressman Brad Sherman (D-CA) reintroduced the “Peace and Tolerance in Palestinian Education Act,” which would enforce reporting and oversight of educational materials produced by UNRWA, and earlier this year, Congressman Chip Roy (R-TX) introduced legislation that would make its funding contingent on the completion of an annual audit conducted by the Secretary of State.

Both bills, if they became law, would help pressure UNRWA to revise its texts. Congressman Sherman wants an annual report prepared for Congress on UNRWA’s educational materials, and any evidence of their antisemitism. Congressman Roy’s bill is even more important, because funding for UNRWA would now depend on what an “annual audit” would show. Both bills have been made necessary because the Bidenites have simply decided to punt on the whole question of antisemitism taught in UNRWA schools. They have never bothered even to ask, or cajole, or threaten UNRWA into cleaning up its schoolbooks.

The Bidenites have no intention, as the last three years have shown, to hold UNRWA to any of its promises to clean up its textbooks. Biden, Blinken, and Sullivan simply don’t care about the poison of antisemitism that the Agency has been feeding Palestinian children for decades. Not a single UNRWA text, according to Marcus Sheff, has shown improvement, while the texts in Saudi schools have been stripped of much of their antisemitism; Emirati schools now offer courses on the Holocaust; Moroccan schools now have courses on the history of Moroccan Jewry and their contributions to the country.

“Examples of antisemitic content described in previous Impact-se reports include a grammar lesson that uses the sentence, “The Palestinians sacrifice their blood to liberate Jerusalem,” and “Arabic Drill Cards” for 9th graders that say, “When the [Muslim] nation is negligent in protecting al-Aqsa, then the Jews will dare to defile it.” Additionally, Israel does not appear on any maps.

This is the content that encourages Palestinian children to yearn to be shahids, martyrs, who will “sacrifice their blood” to “liberate Jerusalem” from the “filthy Jews,’ which can only be achieved, UNRWA lessons hint, by ridding the world of those Jews who are constantly threatening to “defile” Al-Aqsa (“Al-Aqsa is in danger”), though exactly how that “defiling” is supposed to be achieved by the Jews is never revealed. The only real “defiling” of Al-Aqsa has been that committed by the Palestinians who use the mosque both as a storehouse for weapons – rocks, fireworks, bottles for Molotov cocktails – and as a fort, from which these Palestinians hurl those weapons at Israeli police and Jewish visitors to the Mount.

Teachers and staff employed by UNRWA incite antisemitism, terrorism, and hate on social media, as well, according to a report released in March by Impact-se and UN Watch, which cited over 200 examples of UNRWA teachers promoting hateful content on social media, including a Syrian math teacher’s praising a March 2022 terrorist attack in Israel that claimed four lives, a Lebanese teacher’s calling the architect of several attacks a “martyr” and “noblest of souls,” and a Syrian UNRWA employee’s sharing on social media a photograph of Hitler, which she captioned, “there are still some people you need to burn.”

Biden could get his “national strategy for combatting antisemitism” up and running in the best possible way, by announcing that “my administration can no longer tolerate the persistent antisemitism in UNRWA texts and teaching materials, and today I am announcing that no further American aid will be given to UNRWA until all of those antisemitic texts and materials are removed.” That would get UNRWA’s attention. That would do some good.

China voices support for Iran nuke deal, advises ‘dialogue’ to ‘unfreeze’ it

As China and Iran rise in global influence, China has now “advised” the US that the Iran nuclear deal (which was always based on lies) be revived.

Any dialogue involving China or Iran will be disastrous for the West. Communists and those who want to spread Sharia know all too well how gullible Leftist Western leaders react to the word “dialogue.” Ironically, neither Iran nor China respect genuine dialogue in their own countries. They only advance the brute will and full force of the state, while crushing dissent.

It should be a matter of grave concern that Iran and the Biden administration were in recent secret talks. Iran is now also reportedly holding talks with the EU about reviving the nuclear deal.

China’s advice that dialogue is an “effective way to unfreeze Iran nuclear deal” has merit only in the eyes of weak Leftist governments. Iran’s foreign ministry has also just brazenly stated that it “expects a fundamental change of behavior by the United States before a shift in relations can occur.”

Signalling its support to “indirect talks” between Iran and the US over the 2015 nuclear deal, China on Monday said the “effective way” to resolve the issue was to hold dialogue, state media reported.

“It is an effective way to resolve the issue to resume the full and effective implementation of the comprehensive plan (JCPOA) through dialogue and negotiation,” said Mao Ning, spokeswoman of China’s Foreign Ministry, Anadolu Agency reports.

Mao said the 2015 nuclear deal, officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, or JCPOA, was “a significant achievement of multilateral diplomacy”.

The US unilaterally withdrew from the agreement in May 2018, after which Iran gradually ramped up its nuclear enrichment activities, higher than the limit stipulated in the deal.

Talks to revive the landmark deal remain stalled since last year, but Tehran and Washington are said to have quietly resumed indirect talks.

The efforts to salvage the agreement got fresh impetus after Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, earlier this month said a deal on Iran’s nuclear program was possible if the country’s nuclear industry infrastructure remained untouched.

Billions of Dollars in U.S. COVID Relief Aid Stolen

COVID-19 relief aid fraud ran rampant in the United States during the pandemic. Billions of dollars of government relief aid that was meant to stabilize the U.S. economy was instead pilfered. Social security numbers of federal prisoners and people who had previously passed away were used to redeem unemployment checks, while federal loan applicants were not thoroughly vetted. All of this, along with other blatant scams, may have led to the biggest case of fraud in many years.1

According to the Associated Press, more than $280 billion was stolen from the government’s COVID relief fund, while another $123 billion was misspent or wasted. The total loss exceeding $400 billion amounted to 10 percent of the total $4.2 trillion the government doled out in COVID relief aid, which was the “the largest rescue package in American history.”2

The COVID funds in question were authorized by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES ACT) in 2020 and the Consolidated Appropriations Act in 2021.3 The CARES Act was enacted in an attempt to lessen the devastating economic impact of U.S. government policies, which were implemented in response to the COVID pandemic, had on families and businesses.4

Independent investigators and analysts surmise that the government, in an effort to rapidly spend the trillions of dollars authorized in COVID relief funds, failed to exert proper control during the start of the pandemic and acted too leniently with loan applicants.5

Dan Fructer, chief of the fraud and white-collar crime unit at the U.S. Attorney’s office in the Eastern District of Washington said:

Here was this sort of endless pot of money that anyone could access. Folks kind of fooled themselves into thinking that it was a socially acceptable thing to do, even though it wasn’t legal.6

COVID Relief Assistance Programs Lacked Proper Safeguards

The Small Business Administration Association (SBAA) provided $1 trillion in an effort to aid small businesses during the COVID pandemic.7 The agency was in charge of two major COVID relief assistance programs—the COVID-19 Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program and the Paycheck Protection Program.

Proper safeguards to prevent fraud were not implemented as the agency gave out an unprecedented amount of money quickly. Loan applicants could “self-certify” that their applications were true. As a result, experts estimate that the COVID-19 Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program cost taxpayers $86 billion in fraud so far with updated numbers to be released soon.

The Paycheck Protection Program is estimated to have squandered $20 billion in fraud. The Paycheck Protection Program allowed banks and other financial institutions to issue government-backed loans, many of which were millions of dollars, to businesses that would not be required to pay them back if they used the money for business expenses. Some of these companies were fraudulently created just for the loan, while other criminals stole existing business names already registered with the state, and some legitimate companies inflated the number of employees in order to secure more money.8

According to the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee, a government watchdog on COVID funds, almost 70,000 social security numbers that did not match names or birthdates on applications for the Paycheck Protection Program went unnoticed.9

Government Given More Time to Catch the Criminals

Currently, the SBAA has more than 80,000 criminal actions in COVID-related fraud which would take 100 years to follow-up on. Fortunately, In August 2022, legislation was signed to extend the statute of limitations from five to 10 years for the prosecution of fraud related to these two programs.10

The amount of money the SBAA admits has been stolen may just be the tip of the iceberg. The amount of fraud reported by the SBAA is challenged by a University of Texas study published in 2022 that discovered $117 billion in likely fraudulent loans by the Paycheck Protection Program.11

According to Labor Department Inspector General Larry Turner, there has been at least $76 billion in unemployment assistance scams together with the $115 billion that was inadvertently provided to the wrong people. The five-year statute of limitations has not yet been extended for unemployment fraud.

A March 2023 press release by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) shows that the agency has investigated 975 tax and money laundering cases totaling $3.2 billion in COVID relief fund fraud. 458 of these cases have led to indictments and 236 people have been sentenced to federal prison for an average of 37 months.12

President Joe Biden’s administration has allocated $223 million for the UN’s Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), a body which has a history of promoting terrorism and Jew hatred among Palestinian children.

The Biden State Department raised the annual funding for the agency by $16 million, despite repeated reports showing that the UNRWA-run schools are used to indoctrinate Palestinian youth in the ideology of jihad terrorism.

The textbooks, generously funded by the U.S. and European countries, are designed to raise the next generation of recruits for Palestinian terrorist organizations, investigative reports show. “UNRWA teachers and schools regularly call for the murder of Jews and create institutional teaching materials that glorify terrorism, encourage martyrdom, demonize Israelis and incite antisemitism, a recent report found,” the news agency Jewish News Syndicate noted June 25.

In 2018, President Donald Trump ended all funding for the UNRWA, rightly labelling it an “irredeemably flawed” organization. President Biden reversed the decision shortly after taking office, pledging $235 million for the UN agency in 2021. The U.S. pays nearly one-third of the agency’s $1 billion annual budget.

The U.S. State Department announced Monday that the United States support budget for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) will reach a record high of $223 million this year.

The increasing amount of support, which is $16 million higher than the previous year, solidifies Washington’s position as the largest donor to UNRWA. Former U.S. President Donald Trump halted all funding of the agency, but since the beginning of President Joe Biden’s term the U.S. has allocated almost a billion dollars to UNRWA.

The announcement of support for UNRWA comes despite the statements of Barbara A. Leaf, the U.S. assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, who criticized UNRWA. In a conversation with members of the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee last week, Leaf said that the State Department is aware of ongoing reports of incitement to violence in UNRWA schools.

We have concerns about curricula or classroom instruction that promote violence and terrorism. It’s a work in progress, and we are committed to it,” Leaf said. However, she did not elaborate on how the State Department plans to address this issue….

With the sweetheart deal that Hunter Biden just got from federal prosecutors, Attorney General Merrick Garland has once again confirmed that he has taken the Justice Department, which was once the envy of the world for its indefatigable commitment to equal justice for all, and turned it into a squad of legal hit men for foes of the Biden regime and a legal laundromat for the regime’s members and cronies, most notably for the alleged president’s crackhead influence-peddling son. Garland himself, however, bristles if you believe your lying eyes on this matter. On Friday he complained that charges that his Justice Department was doling out frame jobs for dissidents and skates for friends of the regime was a threat to — that’s right! — our “democracy.”

As has been pointed out many times, when Leftists profess to be worried about the health of “our democracy” (I know, I know, it’s a republic), they’re really referring to threats to their own hegemony over the nation’s political and cultural spheres. Garland confirmed this Friday when a reporter noted that some Republicans are talking about the corruption of the Justice Department, and asked him: “Do the American people have cause to be concerned about the integrity of the components of this Justice Department, and what do you have to say about how they’re reacting?”

In his answer, Garland went as heavy on the self-righteous unctuousness as a kid drenching his fries in ketchup: “I certainly understand,” he huffed, “that some have chosen to attack the integrity of the Justice Department as components and its employees by claiming that we do not treat like cases alike. Uh, this constitutes an attack on an institution that is essential to American democracy and essential to the safety of the American people. Nothing could be further from the truth.” There it is: attack Merrick Garland and his revoltingly corrupt henchmen, and deplore the dumpster fire they have made out of a department that is supposed to administer impartial justice, and you’re attacking “American democracy.”

Note Garland’s appalling sleight of hand: he equates an attack on his Justice Department, which is a gang of Leftist liars who tried to frame an elected president of the United States for crimes he didn’t commit and classified angry parents at school board meetings as terrorists, with an attack on the very idea of a Justice Department. For he is of course right, as far as it goes: the Justice Department is indeed essential to American democracy, or rather, to the American republic. That’s why we’re in the fix we’re in because the Justice Department is now a public relations office for those whom the regime favors and a no-holds-barred instrument of vengeance against those whom the regime hates. Those who are attacking it are not against the institution at all but against the mess that Garland has made of it.

Garland, however, insists that he and his far-Left minions have behaved with perfect probity. He added: “You’ve all heard me say many times that we make our cases based on the facts and the law. These are not just words. These are what we live by. They’re the foundation of the way we make these decisions.” Gee, that’s reassuring, but here’s a shocker: Garland was not exactly being honest.

Just the News reported Thursday that “Internal Revenue Service whistleblowers are directly challenging Attorney General Merrick Garland’s claim that David Weiss, the U.S. attorney in Delaware, was allowed to run his Hunter Biden tax probe free of political interference.” Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) recently asked Garland “to describe what would happen if Weiss wanted to pursue charges against President Biden’s son outside of his Delaware jurisdiction, considering Garland hadn’t made him a Justice Department special counsel.”

Garland responded, “I promise to ensure that he’s able to carry out his investigation and that he’d be able to run it. And if he needs to bring it in another jurisdiction, he will have full authority to do that.” However, an IRS said that at an Oct. 2022 meeting between Weiss, IRS investigators, and FBI agents, Weiss was told he could not bring his case against Hunter Biden to Washington. “And then he went back and asked for special counsel authority, and they told him no.” Impartial justice!

House Republicans could do a great deal to expose and end the Justice Department’s deep corruption if they impeached Merrick Garland. Aside from Old Joe himself, no Biden regime official would be more deserving.

How U.S. Foreign Aid to Iraq Funds Terrorism Against Americans

We send money to Iraq. Iraq funds Iran’s Jihadists attacking our embassy.

In 2020 and 2021, the United States spent over $600 million on foreign aid in Iraq. That’s down from a high of over $2 billion in 2018 and $4.4 billion in 2016. But it still means that we have blown through over $10 billion on Iraq since 2016. That’s long since we officially withdrew.

Meanwhile, where was Iraq’s money going? Iraq’s latest budget dedicates $2.8 billion to Shiite PMU terror militias including Kataeb Hezbollah: an Iran-backed terror group that has been responsible for the deaths of numerous American soldiers.

At the height of the Iraq War, Kataeb Hezbollah was using Iranian IEDs to kill American soldiers. Kataeb Hezbollah is listed as a foreign terrorist organization which makes it a crime for Americans to fund it. But that hasn’t stopped the Biden administration from providing massive amounts of foreign aid to Iraq.

While some U.S. conflicts with Jihadists in the region are old news, Kataeb Hezbollah fired rockets at the U.S. embassy in Baghdad in 2019 and has bombed U.S. bases in recent years. Kataeb Hezbollah killed two American soldiers in 2020: Army Spc. Juan Miguel Mendez Covarrubias and Air Force Staff Sgt. Marshal D. Roberts.

Politicians and the media have mostly ignored the fact that Americans are continuing to be killed in Iraq, that the Iraqi government is funding their killers, and that we’re funding Iraq.

While Iraq funds Iran’s terror militias, the United States funds the UN Development Programme to “stabilize” Iraq and has invested over $100 million into “conflict, peace and security” funding.

The United States has spent over $1 billion financing the nation’s military while Iraq spends billions financing the Iranian PMU terror militias which are expected to approach a quarter of million Jihadis. The rise of ISIS provided the Shiite regime running Iraq with the perfect excuse for discarding the ISF military built by the U.S. and turning over security to Shiite terror groups.

The foreign policy establishment claims that we need to fund the Iraqi military as a counterbalance to Iran’s PMU militias, but that just allowed Iraq’s government to shift even more defense funding to the Shiite terror groups. Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed al-Sudani and his government were backed by the PMUs and are turning them into an even bigger army.

That’s not surprising since al-Sudani is a second-generation member of a Shiite Islamist movement loyal to Iran’s Islamic Revolution. The Shiite Coordination Framework, which is behind the Sudani government, is filled with Shiite Islamists groups with their own militias. For example, the Badr alliance, created by Iran, controls both sizable chunks of Iraq’s military and police forces, as well as one of the larger militias, and has a sizable presence in Iraq’s parliament.

Iraqi democracy consists of Shiite blocs, some Islamists, some fronted by former leaders like Maliki, fighting each other for power and competing for Iran’s favor. Iran has helped them set up militias that, in imitation of Iran’s IRGC and Lebanon’s Hezbollah, also control large portions of the economy, run their own businesses, and scoring construction contracts and oil deals.

The foreign policy establishment has refused to acknowledge that Iraq has long since become an Islamic terror state under the political control of Iran and that the only reason it isn’t more of a threat is the constant infighting between the Shiite majority which often turns violent. If Iraq’s Shiite Islamists were ever united under a single leader, like Muqtada Al-Sadr, a perennial player, it will become as much of a threat to the region and the world as Iran and Lebanon’s Hezbollah.

Instead, we keep sinking more money into Iraq in the hope of a better outcome.

Iraq, until recently, was on the list of the top 5 recipients of U.S. foreign aid. And the Baghdad regime continues to come up with new ways to extract money from U.S. taxpayers.

Last month, Prime Minister Al-Sudani claimed that the Islamic terror state was going green and pleaded for foreign aid to save the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, which according to media accounts, was blamed on “climate change”. In fact, the Tigris River is a filthy mess because Sadr City’s Islamists pour tons of filth into it. Five million cubic meters of waste are dumped daily into both rivers from sewage to corpses. That isn’t the work of climate change but of Iraqis.

The United States provided military aid to the Baghdad regime and its military in order to defeat ISIS. But what we were actually doing was intervening in a Shiite-Sunni civil war while disregarding the fact that the side we were backing was just as much our enemy as ISIS.

While military aid has fallen under the Biden administration after the decline of ISIS, much as in Afghanistan, even humanitarian aid easily finds its way into the hands of Islamic terrorists.

Iran’s PMU militias control large swathes of territory, including farmland, own construction companies and demand payoffs from nonprofits who operate in the areas claimed by them. Humanitarian aid, no matter how seemingly benevolent, to people in terrorist areas, funds terror.

It’s a hard lesson that we have failed to learn in either Afghanistan or Iraq.

Like most failed Islamic terror states in the region, Iraq is perpetually on the verge of bankruptcy. In an effort to crack down on money from Iraq going to Iran, the Treasury Department restricted Iraqi banks from sending dollars to unknown parties. Since much of the Iraqi economy consists of moving dollars to Iran, this has become a real problem.

Despite the existence of the Iraqi dinar, much of the country uses the dollar. And the United States provides pallets of dollars to Iraq that then go on to Iran. Earlier this year, an Iraqi banker warned that if the rules weren’t suspended, “Within one year, most banks will declare bankruptcy”. That says more about what Iraqi banks really do than about our rules.

And yet no amount of economic problems keep the regime in Baghdad from spending billions on its terror militias. That’s a choice and it should not be subsidized by American taxpayers.

Especially when it costs American lives.

100 parents protest city’s Pride event in Idaho

100 Idaho MassResistance parents protest at their city’s Pride event

Event included Drag Queens, sex kits, children, weirdness, and more (see photos!)

LGBT movement annually targets this conservative city. RINO politicians caved in, as usual.

In Rexburg, Idaho, over 100 local Idaho MassResistance parents came and protested at the June 10 “Pride Day” event, which was held in the main city park next to a popular playground. The main objection was using a public venue to expose children to the deviance – particularly Drag Queens – that this event has brought in the past.

Earlier that week, more than 80 MassResistance parents had flooded into the recent City Council meeting to demand that the permit for the event be revoked and that a strong ordinance prohibiting lewd public acts be passed. But the RINO (and cowardly) City Council refused to even bring it up for discussion. There were also hundreds of anti-Drag Queen yard signs across the city to voice that demand.

The event organizers reacted to that outrage by moving the scheduled “Drag Queen” performances to a private location in the evening and excluding minors from it, which was a win for MassResistance.

But the Pride “celebration” was still steeped in deviance. It included sex kits being handed out, perverse Drag Queens, and other dysfunctional behavior — and lots of children. Outrageously, several local businesses participated in support as vendors. And it was gleefully attended by the city's RINO mayor.

Not surprisingly, the crowd of a few hundred pro-LGBT attendees appeared to be mostly from other places. That is a common LGBT tactic: bringing lots of people from elsewhere into conservative towns for events, to make it look as if it were well-attended by locals.

The pro-family protesters were peaceful but completely unafraid. Though a few were assaulted by LGBT activists, they didn’t back down and definitely made their point!

Sex kits for the attendees

There was a booth distributing “sex kit” packets – which included various types of condoms, lubricant for anal sex, “dental dams” for lesbian sex, and information for treating the sexually-transmitted diseases which invariably come from that behavior.

The event included a cadre of thug types (below) dressed in green and aqua shirts whose role seemed to be to intimidate pro-family people. We were told that two of them actually assaulted parents. But that didn't work. None of our people were intimidated.

And of course, booths for mental health therapy

One of the lesser-known aspects of the LGBT world is the large number of groups providing therapy for a variety of mental health issues. “Gay” newspapers often have multiple pages of such ads.  No other type of event (e.g., Irish, Hispanic, music, etc.) would have booths for this "service."

At 8:30 in the evening at a city-owned theater, the Drag Queens did their "performances" which had previously been scheduled for the daytime event. Maybe 80 people showed up. It looked like almost all of them were from out of town.

Final thoughts

According to the local Idaho MassResistance people, this was a big win! It got the Drag Queen performances away from kids and raised awareness across town like never before.

The politicians and others got a very strong message – and that pressure will continue. There is also talk about boycotting those local vendors.

All through June, “Pride Month” themes and events are being pushed as publicly as possible – and people are being intimidated from criticizing it. The goal is to force their anti-family LGBT agenda into a community’s social, moral, and religious civic culture. But local MassResistance families are pushing back. It’s necessary for everyone to do that!
