Back on his feet after a harrowing ordeal, now Chris Nemeth is fighting for justice. Once a healthy 45-year-old, he became wheelchair-bound after developing a chronic neurological disorder. He says symptoms began two weeks after having his first AstraZeneca [COVID-19] vaccination in 2021. They included headaches, tingling fingers, facial palsy, and stolid mobility. He is still unwell and claiming millions of dollars in compensation under a federal government COVID-19 vaccine claims scheme. He’s one of more than 3,000 unlucky Australians maintaining the COVID vaccine made him ill.

A Human Rights Watch board member does not belong on a Holocaust museum board.

I have written about the problems with the Holocaust Museum in D.C. before. It’s a government museum and like most of those pursues predictable political agendas that have nothing to do with the Holocaust or Jews.

The Holocaust Memorial Council acts as the board of trustees, but like a lot of government institution boards, it’s a prestigious line to add to the biographies of major donors or political allies. There have been some whoppingly bad appointments by past administrations  In a final insult to the Jewish community, Obama appointed Ben Rhodes, the lead advocate for the Iran nuke sellout, to the council.

Biden has appointed Kimberly Marteau Emerson. Kimberly, the wife of John Emerson. a Democrat operative and financial bigwig, picked by Obama to be his ambassador to Germany.

Kimberly Marteau Emerson.has been on the board of directors for Human Rights Watch since 2012.

HRW has repeatedly and falsely accused Israel of “apartheid”. Its personnel have done little to conceal their desire for the destruction of the Jewish State and the extermination of its population.

Joe Stork, who served for many years as HRW’s Deputy Director of Middle East issues. Before being hired by HRW, Stork openly supported Palestinian terror attacks against Jewish civilians, and opposed any and all peace treaties between Israel and Arab states.

Stork even traveled to Saddam Hussein’s Iraq for a conference on “Zionism and Racism.

Analyzing Israel’s victory in the 1967 War, Stork suggested what would be needed for the Arab states to reverse the outcome and destroy Israel:

This was part of a pattern.

In 2009, HRW bizarrely defended its senior military analyst Marc Garlasco following revelations that he was an avid collector of Nazi memorabilia and had even authored a book about Nazi-era medals. According to The Guardian, Garlasco once commented that a leather SS jacket made “my blood go cold it is so COOL!”

And nothing much has changed.

HRW founder Robert Bernstein blasted the organization’s pathological anti-Israel animus in a 2009 op-ed published in The New York Times, in which he lamented the turn the organization had taken regarding the Middle East. At HRW, Bernstein wrote, the organization originally drew distinctions between liberal and repressive states, focusing on the latter. However, HRW, “with increasing frequency, casts aside its important distinction between open and closed societies.”

Bernstein observed that this change in focus was most apparent in the Middle East, where HRW “has written far more condemnations of Israel for violations of international law than of any other country in the region,” even though the region “is populated by authoritarian regimes with appalling human rights records.”

In the spring of 2009, Sarah Leah Whitson, the organization’s top Middle East official, traveled to Saudi Arabia and, as part of her pitch, said that she needed to raise funds to fight “pro-Israel pressure groups.”

To get a sense of HRW’s disturbing anti-Israel bias, consider this: over the past five years, the NGO has authored seven special reports on Israel. In comparison, the organization published none condemning North Korea, one of the worst criminal regimes in the world; and only three reports addressed the human rights violations of the repressive, theocratic regime in Iran.

That’s because HRW wants Israel to be destroyed.

The report’s primary author is Omar Shakir, HRW’s Israel/Palestine director, who signed a pledge in 2015 to “honor the BDS call.” The founder and leader of the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions Movement has stated openly that his movement aims to see Israel dismantled

Kimberly Marteau Emerson is a completely inappropriate choice. No HRW official or board member should ever have a position in a Holocaust memorial organization.

That’s a nice country you got there. Would be a shame if anything were to happen to it…

Sadly, thanks to a massive “asylum-seeker” scam perpetuated by the Globalist Leftist elites to pack in third-world newcomers, a lot is about to happen to our once prosperous and pleasant country.

Quick refresher: Asylum in the United States may be granted at our discretion to people who have a legitimate fear of political or religious persecution in their homeland by their government, and who come through a designated port of entry. Poverty, high crime, lack of opportunity, or family residing in the U.S. are not recognized reasons for seeking asylum in the U.S., nor is paying a human trafficker to smuggle you over the border an acceptable way of doing so.

The rate at which illegal aliens are being transported into the once orderly United States is unprecedented and unsustainable. You simply cannot import many millions of impoverished, high-need, culturally incongruent people without wreaking havoc on the host nation. And there is already plenty of third-world unpleasantness cropping up: increases in diseases we had gotten rid of in the U.S.; once-venerable landmark hotels converted to eyesore immigrant tenements; and spikes in crime as the bad come in with the merely opportunistic.

But there are long-term miseries that once seemed impossible in a great nation like the USA that will inevitably become commonplace. If you’ve traveled abroad, you may already have seen these social pathologies in other places. And some of them already exist in one form or another in America’s big blue cities. Sadly, unless something changes, they will inevitably become the norm here, too.

Without further ado, here are the top three societal calamities we can look forward to as the Biden administration continues to import the entire third world.

Droves of Beggars With Children in Tow

Panhandlers, bums, the homeless, and garden-variety street addicts are nothing new in most cities. But get ready for flocks of beggars to start peopling our streets wherever Big Left’s phony asylum seekers are deposited. And they won’t be the panhandlers you’re accustomed to; third-world beggars often have small children with them. It’s a disturbing and heartbreaking sight. But that is what happens when millions of needy people are dumped in a country, overwhelming the social support system.

Shantytowns

I’m not just talking tent cities here, or a homeless encampment beneath an underpass: I mean full-on entire towns and villages consisting of hundreds of permanent structures made from scraps of lumber, sheet metal, and plastic panels. Shantytowns are a common sight and part of the established infrastructure in third-world countries, where they ring the cities and towns, encroaching on public and private lands. But lawlessness begets more lawlessness.

This March 11, 2016 photo shows the view from a van carrying U.S. tourists on a tour of a shanty town, in the Villa Maria del Triunfo district on the outskirts of Lima, Peru. While most

Riots

Eventually, the press of humanity trapped in slums and shantytowns with insufficient services and little hope of change will reach a boiling point. Folks with nothing to lose have no reason to behave, and desperate people will be easy pickings for America’s native population of Marxist civil rights attorneys and community organizers. Mass demonstrations of our “newest Americans” demanding their “rights” will swell the ranks of anarchists and rioters that the U.S. already tolerates on far too generous a scale. The Biden administration is importing the potential for paralyzing, destabilizing riots on a mass scale.

Great. So Now What?

Unlike Big Left, conservatives know history. We can consider past occasions when a country was occupied — sometimes for centuries — but never lost its identity and eventually rid itself of its foreign squatters. For example, Spain was invaded in 711 AD by a Muslim North African army. The Moors occupied the Iberian peninsula for 800 years before they were expelled. At that time, they made up a large percentage of the population, including one-third of the Valencia region. But it was accomplished nonetheless.

Likewise, the Ottoman Turks invaded and occupied Greece from the mid-1400s through 1821 — nearly four centuries. But they, too, were ultimately expelled.

While there are many obvious differences between those cases and the current U.S. colonization currently underway, the main point should not be lost. A people can hold onto their identity for as long as it takes to muster the will and determination to eject an occupying force. Americans, though of diverse ethnicities and faiths, are united and identified by an ideal. And we can rest assured that freedom will always be worth fighting for.

Top O’ the Briefing

Happy Monday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. Blaine’s ability to produce a hard-boiled egg from any pocket both disturbed and fascinated the other members of the Metallurgy Club.

Things are about to get a lot spicier in the race for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination. As Matt wrote last week, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is expected to finally announce that he will be challenging former President Donald Trump. Of course, DeSantis has been the other candidate in this race all along, pretty much living rent-free in Trump’s head these last several months.

Related: Trump’s Creepy Obsession With DeSantis Is Eerily Familiar

I should repeat for the millionth time that I will be all in on Trump if he’s the nominee. People have so many FEELINGS about this election and anything less than complete worship of Trump isn’t tolerated by his hardcore fans. I will also repeat that I don’t worship politicians — they work for me. I’d be happy to help give either Trump or DeSantis the job. Not so much with the rest of the potential field, though. Schlichter has a great takedown of the rest of them in his latest Townhall column.

The Democrats and their flying monkeys in the mainstream media are afraid of both Trump and DeSantis and — because they’re not very crafty anymore — they don’t do anything to hide it. Athena wrote yesterday about a recent Politico panic piece about a potential Trump return to the Oval Office:

Politico ran a story on Friday, and I must say, the title quickened my pulse. Tellingly titled, “Hurricane Trump Is Coming — And Washington Hasn’t Bothered to Prepare,” the story ran with the subhead, “After 2020, reformers vowed to erect guardrails against a rogue chief executive. They ran into a wall of complacency, partisanship and distraction.”

As if Leftists would have done a single thing to curtail executive overreach while they held office. Puh-lease.

Good Lord, the vapors these people get when writing about Trump. It’s as if they’re all taking a freshman composition class and the homework is a horror story. If only he’d been the Slayer of All Things Swamp that they make him out to be. I really hope that he does become “Hurricane Trump” if he gets back into office. This is from a column I wrote the first week of this year:

After all of the Beltway backstabbing that Trump endured from both sides of the aisle, I sincerely hope that if he returns, it is with a single-minded focus on righting wrongs, real or imagined. I told a friend of mine the other day that I want him to show up to his second inauguration wearing nothing but a codpiece and carrying a flamethrower. Just to set the tone.

The leftist press hacks are going to have to work double time during the Republican primaries because they fear and hate DeSantis as much as they do Trump. Sometimes the hit pieces will be subtle, as with the recent news about Disney canceling a huge project there, which Chris wrote about:

In 2021, then-Disney CEO Bob Chapek announced an ambitious plan to move the company’s Imagineering division from Glendale, Calif., to the Lake Nona area of Orlando, Florida. A favorable business climate in the Sunshine State, paired with a similar atmospheric climate to California, made the idea sound like a no-brainer to Chapek.

The project would have uprooted all the Imagineers and their families, forcing them to move across the country, an idea that was unpopular among the Imagineers. Former-CEO-turned-new-CEO Bob Iger saw the writing on the wall, and, as he has done with many of Chapek’s decisions, he reversed course.

The project was doomed, but it’s being spun that it was to spite DeSantis for his “war” with Disney. After years of lying about DeSantis killing people during COVID, they’re lying about him killing jobs.

The execrable Dem advocates at Politico struck again, this time going after DeSantis’s wife. My colleague Sarah Arnold covered the story at Townhall:

Politico piece faces significant backlash after posting a scathing report on the wife of Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla)— Casey DeSantis.

Titled “The Casey DeSantis Problem: His Greatest Asset and His Greatest Liability,” is receiving hate for its sexist and misogynistic tone. The article quoted anonymous former DeSantis staffers, alleged insiders who supposedly have “dirt” on the couple, and Democratic strategists who accuse DeSantis’s wife of being “blindly ambitious” in an effort to help her husband be elected as the next president.

The article also refers to Casey DeSantis as “Lady Macbeth,” the Shakespearean character who conspires to have her husband kill the king so that he can ascend to the throne.

Subtle, no?

Did Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ghostwrite this thing?

The rule in American political reporting is that a candidate’s family is off-limits unless the candidate is a Republican. All of leftist media conspired to keep Hunter Biden’s laptop out of the news in 2020. As those of us who aren’t delusional have known all along, Hunter Biden is one of the biggest sleazebags in presidential family history. But he’s off-limits for the likes of Politico writers.

The American mainstream media has been plumbing new depths since the 2016 presidential election. The cheerleaders were even worse in 2020. Sadly, they’re almost certain to go even lower trying to tear apart Trump and DeSantis. This is going to be ugliness on a Jill Biden dress scale. Both men are going to have to balance fending off unhinged attacks in the media and attacks from each other.

By the time one emerges victorious, he’ll be plenty battle tested.
