Those dastardly right-wingers, the enemies of all that is good, are getting out of line again, and Chasten Buttigieg wants you to know that he is peeved. The loving husband of Trans Pete, that is, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, appeared with the gals on “The View” Thursday, and boy oh boy, was he in an almighty snit. We are, said the Trans Secretary’s better half, living in an “extremely dangerous time.” Why, Chas? Because of skyrocketing inflation? Chinese saber-rattling? Old Joe’s manifest capacity? No, you silly goose. Because Florida is banning porn in school libraries.

The Daily Caller reported Thursday that Chasten was miffed about “the bans on drag shows, pornographic books from school libraries, and Florida’s Parental Rights in Education bill that prohibits classroom discussion about sexuality and gender identity in kindergarten through third-grade classrooms.”

But, of course, Chasten didn’t put it quite that way. As far as he was concerned, it was all an attack by rich right-wingers against the poor, embattled “LGBTQ community,” as if that community wasn’t hailed, celebrated, and praised everywhere in our rancid and ridiculous culture today. They’re really the victims, Chasten insists, and of course, “The View” panelists agreed.

Chasten said huffily: “I think it’s an extremely dangerous time and it’s a really upsetting time because nothing could be more important than showing up and protecting our families.” Oh come on, now, Chasten! That’s exactly what the people who were behind this bill wanted to do in the first place, but Pete’s husband thinks that parents and adherents of traditional morality are protecting their families from the wrong people.

The other Mr. Buttigieg continued: “But the way in which they say they’re showing up for our families, this conversation about giving parents more choice, protecting children, what they’ve really done, and they’ve done a good job, it’s been a very well-coordinated, well-funded effort to attack the LGBTQ community.”

This was carefully worded to sound several Leftist alarm bells. Even though Leftist groups generally have massive budgets that dwarf those of their patriotic opponents (take, for example, the hundreds of millions of dollars that the Southern Poverty Law Center has in its war chest, while none of its patriotic targets have anything close to that), they like to posture as the plucky underdogs fighting courageously against sinister, well-heeled conservatives. Those conservatives apparently gratuitously decided to “attack the LGBTQ community.” Not a word, of course, about grooming or destroying children’s innocence. Oh no, this “attack” was, in Chasten’s world, entirely unprovoked.

Inverting reality even further, Chasten added: “Specifically with the book bans, when you look at what many of these have in common, they’re extremely vulnerable children and so you have groups of politicians who are making calculated choices.” Yes, they are indeed vulnerable children. But who exactly is preying upon these vulnerable children? The people who are pushing pornography and gender madness upon them, or the people who are trying to protect them from all that?

Chasten Buttigieg knows, however, that victimhood is a currency in our absurd society, so he worked hard to establish the purveyors of filth as simply trying to save the poor victims. “It’s hard enough being in school as it is,” he said, “but to be a transgender kid in school and you have this coordinated effort by people who are going after them because they don’t know what else to talk about. They need an enemy and right now, they’ve decided to make children their enemy and it’s very, very nerve-racking.”

No, Chasten, the children aren’t the enemy. The people who are filling their heads with delusions and fantasies, and telling them that their childhood awkwardness can be repaired by mutilating their bodies, becoming dependent on pharmaceuticals, and living a lie for the rest of their lives – they’re the enemy. And this Florida bill rightly throws a wrench into their plans.

The Daily Caller noted that behind Chasten Buttigieg’s pious talk was an ugly reality: “Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis recently read excerpts of explicit books available in public school libraries. One book called ‘Gender Queer’ included a girl masturbating and performing oral sex on another girl and equated the removal of a woman’s breasts to getting a tattoo. Another book, ‘Flamer,’ is the story of a gay boy that experiences several sexual interactions.” Kudos to Florida for moving against all this. The Florida bill that so angers you, Mr. Buttigieg, is what it really means to protect children.

Mexico’s President Insults the U.S. – While Allowing the Cartels to Thrive

Why Biden must stop coddling Obrador

Mexico’s President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador loves President Joe Biden. But Obrador, the left-wing progressive leader of his narco-state, regularly insults the United States, except when he is angling for amnesty to be granted to the millions of illegal immigrants already living in the U.S. 

“You are the first president of the United States in a very long time that has not built even one meter of wall,” Mexico’s President Obrador told President Biden at the North American Leaders’ Summit in Mexico City last January. “And we thank you for that, sir, although some might not like it, although the conservatives don’t like it.”  

At the same meeting, President Obrador lobbied President Biden to insist that Congress “regularize migration situations” for “millions of Mexicans” already in the United States. “Regularize” is a euphemism for “amnesty.” President Obrador portrayed these illegal immigrants as contributors “to the development of that great nation, which is the United States of America.”  In reality, many illegal immigrants are draining public funds and resources, which undermines the quality of public services available to Americans.

Note Obrador’s sweet talk about the United States when he wanted the U.S. government to do him the big favor of granting amnesty to “millions of Mexicans” living illegally in this country. Of course, President Biden does not need to be persuaded. He is already seeking to incorporate paths for legal status and ultimate U.S. citizenship for millions of illegal immigrants as part of his so-called immigration reform bill. 

President Obrador’s sweet talk about the United States did not last very long. During the weeks that followed he proceeded to insult the United States and threaten to interfere in this country’s elections. 

Last month, for example, President Obrador made the outrageous claim that “there is more democracy in Mexico than could exist in the United States.” He added that he has “evidence to prove there is more liberty and democracy in our country,” without producing a shred of credible evidence to back up his empty boast. 

The Sustainable Governance Indicators 2022 report for Mexico noted that President Obrador’s policies have undermined democracy in his country. “His efforts to concentrate power in the presidency have weakened checks and balances, horizontal accountability, and autonomous state institutions,” the report stated.

President Obrador’s latest anti-democracy gambit is a new law that aims to weaken Mexico’s autonomous National Electoral Institute by defunding it. “Electoral officials warn the change will affect their ability to run free and fair elections ahead of the 2024 general election, when Lopez Obrador, who is limited to a six-year term, is expected to anoint a successor,” CNN reported. 

Following the deadly kidnapping of four Americans by one of Mexico’s uncontrollable cartel groups earlier this month, President Obrador made another outrageous boast. This time, Obrador bragged that “Mexico is safer than the United States. There is no issue with traveling safely through Mexico. That’s something the US citizens also know, just like our fellow Mexicans that live in the US.” 

Tell that to the families and friends of the two Americans who were so recently murdered while traveling in Mexico, as well as the families and friends of all the other Americans who have died by homicide in Mexico.  

Mexico is a failing state. The Mexican government lacks control of large swathes of territory in the country, which it has ceded to private heavily armed cartels. Crime is rampant throughout Mexico. 

According to data reported by the World Bank on the number of victims of intentional homicide per 100,000 population in 2020, Mexico’s number was four times higher than that of the United States. 

“In many parts of Mexico, [authorities] left a long time ago, so the people are alone, abandoned, subjected to the law of the strongest, subjected to the law of the jungle, the law of kidnapping, extortion, and murder because federal and local governments aren’t interested in protecting us,” said Juan Luis Hernández Avendaño, rector of the Ibero-American University in Torreón, Coahuila, at the Jesuit university system’s annual meeting in León, Guanajuato in 2022. 

During a press conference on March 9th, President Obrador washed his country’s hands of any responsibility for the fentanyl crisis that resulted in the deaths of approximately 70,000 Americans last year. “Here, we do not produce fentanyl,” he said as he blamed the problem on “social decay” in the United States.  

President Obrador is a dissembler who sees no evil, hears no evil, and speaks no evil when praising his narco-state.  

It is incontrovertible that much of the fentanyl trafficked by Mexican cartels across the U.S.-Mexico border is mass-produced at labs in Mexico with precursor chemicals sourced from China. 

In a statement that the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) issued last December, it said that “DEA’s top operational priority is to defeat the two Mexican drug cartels—the Sinaloa and Jalisco (CJNG) Cartels—that are primarily responsible for the fentanyl that is killing Americans today.”   

The DEA’s efforts to date to defeat the cartels have been unsuccessful. Operations to target cartel activities inside Mexico have relied principally on cooperation with elements within the Mexican military and law enforcement. But as Matthew Donahue, the DEA’s deputy chief of operations, said in May 2021, “We’re willing to share [intelligence] with our counterparts in Mexico, but they themselves are too afraid to even engage with us because of repercussions from their own government if they get caught working with DEA.” 

The head of Mexico’s government is of course President Obrador, who denies that Mexicans produce fentanyl and seeks to shift the blame for the fentanyl crisis to the United States. 

If Mexico’s government won’t conduct tough joint military/police operations with the United States for as long as it takes to snuff out the key cartels producing fentanyl in Mexico, then the U.S. needs to defang the cartels itself. 

A number of Republican lawmakers are introducing legislation that would designate several Mexican drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations. But the White House claims that such terrorist designations are unnecessary because it says that the Biden administration already has all the authority it needs to deal with the cartels.  

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, during her March 8th press briefing, pointed to existing sanctions authority that the administration has exercised. Obviously, however, the sanctions imposed by the Biden Treasury Department have failed to make even the slightest dent in the Mexican cartels’ illicit activities.  

Designating Mexican cartels trafficking fentanyl into the United States as foreign terrorist organizations would provide prosecutors with additional tools to go after any persons in the U.S. who knowingly provide “material support or resources” to these cartels. The designation would also require U.S. financial institutions that become aware that they have possession of or control over funds in which a designated cartel has the interest to retain possession of or control the funds. 

During the same March 8th press briefing, White House Press Secretary Jean-Pierre also said that “we continue to work in coordination with the Mexican government. And we mentioned the U.S. law enforcement — FDA — I’m sorry, FB- — FBI, D- — DEA, and DHS — have been working closely with our — with the Mexican government.” 

Aside from her word salad, Ms. Jean-Pierre is indulging in wishful thinking. We have all seen how badly the Biden administration’s efforts to work in coordination with the Mexican government have turned out. 

The expanding production of fentanyl in Mexico by the cartels and its smuggling into the United States poses a significant threat to U.S. national security interests. The cartels are colluding with China to produce a drug that is killing Americans in droves. Thus, some Republicans in the House of Representatives and Senate are proposing to go beyond simply designating Mexican cartels as foreign terrorist organizations. They support legislation that would authorize direct U.S. military action targeting cartel drug labs in Mexico for destruction in order to stop the cartels’ production and flow of fentanyl into the United States.  

Republican Representative Dan Crenshaw of Texas was one of the lawmakers who introduced such a bill earlier this year. “This is a problem of mass poisoning of the citizens of the United States and the cartels are directly responsible,” Rep. Crenshaw said in a message directed to Mexico’s President Obrador on March 8th. “My questions to you are the following: Why do you reject aid from the United States? Why do you protect the cartels? They are your enemy and the United States is your friend.” 

President Obrador responded furiously to the possibility of even limited U.S. military force directed solely against the cartel labs, which would help accomplish what the Mexican government is failing to do either alone or in cooperation with the U.S. “We are not going to permit any foreign government to intervene in our territory, much less than a government’s armed forces intervene,” he said. Trumpeting Mexico’s national sovereignty, President Obrador added that Mexico is “not a protectorate of the United States, nor a colony of the United States.” 

At the same time, Obrador threatened to intervene in U.S. elections by campaigning against the Republican Party. He called on Hispanics living in the U.S. “to not vote for that party because they are inhuman and interventionist.”  

Rep. Crenshaw replied that President Obrador should instead campaign “against the cartels who are MURDERING your own people, not the Americans who want to help eradicate them.”  

President Obrador is letting his arrogance and left-wing ideology get in the way of confronting his country’s drug cartel scourge that is killing Mexicans and Americans alike. The Biden administration’s open border policies and continued coddling of Obrador, with delusions that Mexico truly wants to cooperate in fighting the cartels, are appalling.

High tuition costs, but money to spare for terror and bigotry.

American Heritage Schools (AHS) are a pair of high-priced college preparatory schools located in South Florida, with campuses in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. AHS calls itself the “#1 School In Florida.” It boasts the “Highest Number of National Merit Scholars” – 175 for the Class of 2023, 16 Presidential Scholars, and 168 AP/Honors courses with a “94% rate on all AP exams.” Yet, for a school(s) that would appear so smart, it just did something awfully foolish and alarming. It bragged about how one of its clubs raised $10,000 for an entity linked to terror and bigotry. If the educational institution has any integrity, it will demand the money be given back.

On March 8th, the AHS Broward campus, which is located in Plantation, proudly posted on its Facebook page about how its Arabic Club organized a Ramadan food drive to raise money for the Islamic Foundation of South Florida, a radical mosque based in Sunrise. It stated, “The Arabic Club organized a food drive for the day of Ramadan. Led by Mr. Jose Bronca, club advisor, and Mohamed Hachem, club president, the Arabic Club made the Heritage community aware of the needs of the Islamic Foundation of South Florida (IFSF)… Many people donated money to the foundation, raising $10,000. Thank you to everyone that supported this drive!”

This was shocking, given IFSF’s disturbing history.

The former Youth Director and Events Coordinator for IFSF is local Muslim activist Abdur Rahman al-Ghani. Al-Ghani believes Jews are inherently wicked. His Facebook posts have described Jews as “the children of Satan” and “demonic.” About homosexuals, he has written, “If you are gay, you are not a Muslim, you are a stone-cold kaffir outside the fold of Islam. No one is born gay, it is a sickness…” He has posted a photo of Hamas militants with the caption (in part), “We love u Hamas. U are the real hero.” He has labeled the US the “World’s Number One Terrorist Organization” and wrote that Islam “will overtake the World in numbers.”

In April 2014, IFSF hosted a talk by Mazen Mokhtar, a former administrator for the now-defunct al-Qaeda financing and recruitment site, Jihad in Chechnya (qoqaz.net). The site was produced by Azzam Publications, named for the mentor of Osama bin Laden and co-founder of al-Qaeda, Abdullah Yusuf Azzam. Mokhtar has described suicide bombings as “an effective method of attacking the enemy and continuing jihad.” About Hamas, he wrote, “One of the reasons of my support for Hamas is that they have very high moral standards…” and “the operations of HAMAS are heroic…”

Of course, Abdur Rahman al-Ghani may no longer be involved with IFSF, and the Mazen Mokhtar speech was nearly a decade ago. However, recent events at IFSF and affiliations of the mosque demonstrate that the radical identity of IFSF is entirely unchanged.

Last month, IFSF hosted an event for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a group with financial and foundational ties to Hamas. In December 2022, a sermon was given at IFSF by Shafayat Mohamed, an imam who has been thrown off several Broward boards for his anti-gay rhetoric and whose mosque, Darul Uloom, has been a haven for high-profile al-Qaeda operatives. In June 2022, IFSF hosted a speech by a representative from Islamic Relief, a group that has been banned by a number of nations. And in March 2022, IFSF hosted an event for the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), a group with a variety of links to South Asian terror.

IFSF and its children’s school, Salah Tawfik Elementary & Middle School (STEMS), are currently members of the South Florida Muslim Federation (SFMF), an umbrella organization for South Florida’s many extremist Muslim groups, including all of the entities mentioned already and a number of radical mosques beyond IFSF and Darul Uloom.

One of IFSF’s fellow Federation mosques is Masjid Jamaat Al-Mumineen (MJAM), which promotes on its website material: calling Jews and Christians “enemies,” sanctioning domestic violence against women, glorifying female genital mutilation, and mandating death punishments for homosexuals. In September 2021, IFSF hosted a talk by MJAM’s imam, Izhar Khan. In May 2011, the FBI accused Khan of plotting with members of his family to help finance the Taliban.

Another SFMF mosque, the Islamic Center of Boca Raton (ICBR), was founded by a website designer for Hamas and a former assistant to a leader of Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ). In May 2021, IFSF hosted an event with ICBR founding Imam Ibrahim Dremali and IFSF Imam Sultan Mohammed, titled ‘LET’S TALK PALESTINE.’ One day prior, Dremali lauded Hamas and PIJ, saying “The only people right now in Gaza fighting are Hamas and Jihad… Don’t worry. Victory is coming soon.” Dremali also implored people to read Protocols of the Elders of Zion and said, “If the Arab leaders open the borders for Palestine… the Jews they’ll be inside that ocean.”

Following the August 2020 explosion that devastated Beirut, Lebanon, leaving hundreds dead, thousands injured, and over $15 billion in property damage, the Arabic Club of American Heritage Schools sent two sizable containers filled with clothes, food and medicine to Beirut. It was a legitimate and commendable act, and the group was praised for doing so.

However, what was neither legitimate nor commendable was for the club to raise money for the extremist IFSF. Given the mosque’s numerous links to terrorism and bigotry, not a dime raised was warranted, let alone $10,000. Advisor Jose Bronca and AHS failed to exercise due diligence in investigating the insidious nature of their funds’ recipient. As a result, donors were duped into thinking their money would go to a worthy cause and institution.

The AHS slogan is “Knowledge, Integrity, Compassion.” AHS and its Arabic Club should live up to this motto and show ‘integrity’ by owning up to their mistake and immediately demanding that the money be returned. Providing funds to such an organization as IFSF is both immoral and a threat to security.

Aside from some grumbling from social conservatives, the Hyatt Regency Miami likely never dreamed it would suffer any consequences for hosting “A Drag Queen Christmas.” The sexually explicit celebration of our current societal obsessions took to the stage last December — with children present. After all, the big corporations have thoroughly internalized the principle that it is Leftists they must never offend, while they can infuriate patriots all day long. That’s why they’ve all gone woke.

But now, for the first time, Ron DeSantis is making sure that these Leftist corporate behemoths will pay a price for pandering to today’s cultural saboteurs. The Hyatt Regency Miami is losing its liquor license.

Fox News reported Tuesday that “the DeSantis administration is moving to strip a major Miami hotel of its liquor license after hosting a Christmas-themed drag queen show in December with children present despite warnings.” With this and DeSantis’ earlier actions against the woke propagandists of Disney, we have done nothing less than enter into a new world. For the first time, corporations are seeing that they might suffer the adverse effects of tilting far to the Left and outraging the sensibilities of their customers who still retain a modicum of decency and sanity.

The Hyatt Regency Miami can’t say that it didn’t see it coming. The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation issued a warning to the luxurious hotel against hosting a “sexually explicit show with children present,” but the hotel ignored the warning. Now it is discovered that the warning was not just empty verbiage. The Department explained that as a result of the hotel’s hosting the show in defiance of the warnings, it was “revoking the venue’s license for the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages.” It added that “sexually explicit content is not appropriate to display to children and doing so violates Florida law. Governor DeSantis stands up for the innocence of children in the classroom and throughout Florida.”

There was abundant reason for this action. According to a complaint filed by the same Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, at the “Drag Queen Christmas” event, which had been advertised as suitable for all ages, “performers showed their prosthetic breasts and genitals, rubbed their prosthetic female breasts on the faces and mouths of audience members, intentionally exposed their rears, were ‘simulating masturbation’ and had ‘graphic depictions of childbirth and/or abortion.’”

Even all that wasn’t enough. Behind the performers, videos were shown on screens, displaying “exposed female breasts with less than a fully opaque covering, portrayals of simulated masturbation, and other sexually explicit content.” The show also featured “perverted versions of popular children’s Christmas songs,” including a version of “All I Want for Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth” that featured a “portrayal of oral fellatio” and the words “I’ll sit on his lap, he can put his milk and cookies all between my gap.” All this went on as children gawked, having been brought to the event by some who thought they were going to get a benign Christmas presentation.

They thought so because the event “was initially promoted by the hotel with Christmas-themed materials that did not warn of sexually explicit content and included the words ‘all ages welcome.’” Of course, all ages were welcome. How can you ensure that little kids will be watching all this if you warn the prospective audience that you’re going to be rubbing their faces in the worst of twenty-first-century America’s obsession with sexual deviancy and perversion?

The hotel did update the promotional material after it received its initial warning from the state. The new ads noted that the show was “recommended for audiences 18+,” but according to Fox, “the admission policies still allowed for children to attend if accompanied by an adult.” The state’s complaint against the hotel thus states: “As a result, minors attended and were knowingly admitted. During the Show and in the presence of persons less than 16 years of age, performers appeared on stage wearing sexually suggestive clothing and prosthetic female genitalia.”

Hyatt Regency Miami’s general manager, Amir Blattner, said that the venue was actually managed by a third party. Maybe so, but it clearly went on under the hotel’s auspices, and I myself can recall having patriotic and anti-jihad terror events canceled from other Hyatts, so I suspect it would be hard for the hotel to sustain the claim that it is viewpoint-neutral.

DeSantis’ action is on the right track. The more the woke corporations come to see that there is a downside to wokeness, the more they’ll swing back to treating all groups equally. How refreshingly American that would be.

What happens when you elect people to office who have only the most tenuous grip on reality, and actually think that Rachel Levine is a female admiral, Lia Thomas is a champion female swimmer, and Old Joe Biden is a competent, capable president of the United States? They’re finding out the hard way in Newark, N.J., these days. The city was about to become a Sister City with the nation of Kailasa and sign a cultural trade agreement with Kailasa representatives, but then a small detail ended up ruining the party: Kailasa doesn’t exist. It’s a fictional place.

Earlier this year, it was full speed ahead. In January, the India Posts English site, which offers mechanized translations of news items from the Indian press, posted a story from the Tamil-language site Dinamani: “Bilateral agreement between the United States and Kailasa!” — complete with an exclamation point. The article noted that Newark Mayor Ras Baraka (son of the famed race-resentment poet Amiri Baraka) and other Newark officials had signed a “Bilateral Code of Ethics Agreement” at Newark’s City Hall with Kailasa’s Permanent Ambassador to the United Nations, Vijayapriya Nithyananda, and other representatives of Kailasa. But when you click on the link to the Tamil original, it takes you to a Tamil article all about how the whole thing was a scam, and Newark got fooled.

CBS News reported Wednesday that “the city of Newark is admitting it got scammed,” but “the city only found out about the fraud after it held an official ceremony for it.” Baraka “invited what he thought was the Hindu nation of Kailasa to Newark’s City Hall for a cultural trade agreement, but it turns out Kailasa is no nation at all; it’s a fake.” Newark residents are about as embarrassed by all this as one would expect. One said simply, “Very embarrassing for the city.” You can say that again. Another added, “I truly don’t even have words for it.” No worries: I do. Here are some of them: it’s not just an embarrassment, it’s a cautionary tale. And it’s not just a cautionary tale of what happens when you don’t do your homework. It’s a cautionary tale of what happens when you elect people because of their racial or ethnic identity rather than because of their ability to do the job. It’s a cautionary tale of what happens when you elect people who value posturing to favored groups over recognizing reality and making hard choices accordingly.

Another Newark resident said, “I’m really sorry for the city that they got duped in that way.” Sure. But tomorrow, a man who claims to be a woman could walk into Newark City Hall and start ranting about transgender rights, and neither Ras Baraka nor any other Newark official would say, “Wait a minute. You’re not really a woman. You’re just deceiving yourself and others, and endorsing the irreversible mutilation of human beings and their lifelong dependency on pharmaceuticals in pursuit of a delusion.” If Baraka did ever dare to say such a thing to a “trans woman” or some other “gender fluid” person, he would be roundly denounced as transphobic, hateful, and outside the bounds of acceptable behavior. If, on the other hand, Ras Baraka went along with the game and pretended that some guy in a dress and makeup was a woman, no one would dare say he was being “duped.” But that would be exactly what was happening.

CBS adds that “though it has a detailed website, ‘Kailasa’ has no real government. It’s the brainchild of Swami Nithyananda, a notorious scam artist and fugitive from India who has been on the run from rape charges since 2019.” However, no one bothered to check. As one Newark resident asked, “Whose job was it to do a simple Google search? No one in City Hall, not one person did a Google search, so maybe we need a transformation of City Hall ’cause not one person said, let me go and Google and figure out this was a fake city.”

Yes, we do need a transformation of Newark City Hall, and other city halls as well, and a far more thoroughgoing one than Newark residents or others likely realize. This Kailasa incident is embarrassing, but it’s just the sort of thing that is going to happen when an entire political faction decides that reality is optional. Now Newark is trying to clean up the damage: CBS notes that “a few days after the papers were signed, City Council rescinded the agreement.” Newark City Councilman Luis Quintana declared, “This is an oversight, cannot happen any longer.”

Why, sure it can. It can happen and it will happen, in all kinds of ways, as long as the Left continues its war on reality. And that war shows no sign of abating anytime soon.

Israel: Palestinians destroy ancient ruins, pave road over First Temple relics, burial caves

Back in December, when he visited an historic site dating back to the First Temple period, where pillars still stand and the remains of King Herod’s “giant theater from the Second Temple period” can be seen, MK Rabbi Amichai Eliyahu, who is now Israel’s Heritage Minister, warned that Arabs were “erasing history” in ancient Samaria (Sebastia). Evidence was also found of destruction and looting by Arab rioters, as well as buildings erected by the Palestinian Authority illegally on the sites of ancient ruins, and “a giant flag pole upon which they flew a PLO flag.”

As Israel is justifiably being called upon to intervene to preserve its ancient history, Israel will once again be scrutinized for any action it takes. It is imperative that Israel move to protect these archeological sites, as no one else will, least of all the anti-Israel UN, which has not issued an open rebuke to the Palestinians despite the fact that UNESCO is charged with preserving cultural and historic sites.

UNESCO is deeply biased. In 2014, it described the Palestinian village Battir in Samaria as a “world heritage site in the State of Palestine,” under the name “Battir – Land of Olives and Vines — Cultural Landscape of Southern Jerusalem.” Reminder: there is no such thing as a Palestinian state.

In 2017 the UN Security Council unanimously adopted a special resolution to protect cultural heritage and the “cultural memory of humanity.” So what about Jewish history in Samaria? In 2019, the Trump administration filed a notice to withdraw from UNESCO; Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu followed. The reason was UNESCO’s anti-Israel bias, such as criticizing Israel’s so-called “occupation” of East Jerusalem, and “naming ancient Jewish sites as Palestinian heritage sites and granting full membership to Palestine in 2011.”

It behooves the Palestinian “resistance” movement to try to erase Jewish history from Samaria as it tries to strengthen its invented claim to the Jewish homeland.

“Ancient ruins obliterated: PA Arabs pave road over First Temple relics, burial caves,” Israel National News, March 14, 2023:

Arabs living in Judea and Samaria have been destroying ancient ruins in the area for years, but now, according to Jews monitoring the situation, the destruction is being taken to a new level, with archaeological remains wrecked and a road actually paved over them.

The Samaria National Park in Sebastia has frequently been the target of nationalist vandals seeking to erase the site’s Jewish history, which dates back millennia. Sebastia was once called Shomron (Samaria) and served as the capital city of the ancient Kingdom of Israel. Many ancient remains can be seen there, including pillars dating back to the First Temple period and a giant amphitheater from the days of King Herod in the Second Temple period.

It is located just a few miles to the north-west of Shechem (Nablus), however, making it relatively difficult for Israelis to access and easy for local Arabs to reach. This week, members of the Shomrim Al Hanetzach (Protecting Eternity) organization, accompanied by local council members, were shocked to discover that heavy machinery had been moved there and a road paved right in the heart of the archaeological site, along a route extending from Area B a further 400 yards into Area C.

In order to pave the road, a wall dating back to Herodian times was destroyed and burial caves dating back to the Second Temple period were smashed, looted, and obliterated.

Furthermore, people believed to be officials from the Palestinian Authority had flung the carasses of pigs into the ancient graves in an attempt to deter Israeli archaeologists from entering the area and revealing the extent of the destruction wrought. Indeed, the Palestinian Authority has been building infrastructure in the area for the past few months, destroying archaeological remains in the process.

Samaria Regional Council Head Yossi Dagan was horrified at this latest development and appealed to the relevant authorities to intervene. “This is an attempt to systematically and decisively destroy any connection between the State of Israel and the Jewish People, and one of our most important cultural and historic sites,” he said. “These are unique remains from the period of the ancient Kingdom of Israel. It’s a disgrace that Jewish history is being destroyed in such a manner, and under the very noses of the Israeli government,” he added.

“Anyone who loves Israel and who cares about cultural history must demand an immediate halt to the damage being done at the site,” Dagan continued. “A military guard should be placed around the clock in order to protect this cultural site which is being systematically and barbarically destroyed, day by day, by this terrorist entity that calls itself the Palestinian Authority. “….

Iran’s threat presents a big dilemma for Western leaders, as Iran is the most powerful Shia country in the world, and Western leaders are still willfully blind to the fact that one cannot separate politics from mainstream Islam. But if one believes that Islam is a religion of peace and not a political system, then how can one declare the world’s most prominent Shia regime’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is a terrorist group? The Iranian regime mouthpiece Kayhan published, on February 12, 2023, the text of the “National Decision” declaration that was read out at the end of the Islamic Revolution Day march in Tehran the previous day. The declaration was featured on the front page, next to coverage of the marches across the country.

Kayhan wrote: “Yesterday, 44 years after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the people took to the streets chanting ‘Death to America’ more gloriously than ever, and showed more clearly than before that they love [Supreme] Leader [Ali Khamenei] and the revolution.”

The National Decision declaration glorified the Quran and the two leaders of Iran’s Islamic Revolution – Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the founder of the revolution, and his successor Ali Khamenei, Iran’s Supreme Leader. Both of them, it said, had restored the grandeur of Islam as rightful leader of humanity, a task undertaken by Iran. It reiterated absolute acceptance of Khamenei’s leadership, and his many acts of grace in the face of those participating in the widescale civil protests against him and his regime in the past months. Emphasizing hostility towards the “Satanic front” – i.e. the West, led by the U.S. – and its culture and liberal values, particularly with regard to women, it expressed support for the resistance front’s struggle against Israel and against the Arab countries that are Iran’s rivals, and for “strengthening Iran’s strategic depth.” The National Decision also included a warning to the European countries not to designate Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization, and threatened the West with operations in “strategic straits” and other regions.

The following is a translation of the Iranian regime’s National Decision declaration:

“Praise and thanks be to God, who brought the Quran to light up our path and the great blessing of the Prophet of Mercy [Mohammad] and his supporters [the Shi’ites] to guide us in passing through the darkness of ignorance, so that we will be able to actualize the good and desirable life of sacrifice to the Kingdom of God, which brings human happiness. [All] this is by grasping the strong rope and turning to the guides of revelation [i.e. the founder of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, and his successor Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei].

“With endless gratitude that at the height of modern ignorance, when the world has become full of regimes of heresy, of polytheism, and of tyranny, we are privileged to be present in the era of the great Khomeini, the reviver of the pure Islam and the awakener of the people who descend into sin, and in the era of the great man [Khamenei] from the same seminary as the wise elder [Khomeini], the candle of whose existence warms, like the blazing sun, the existence of the oppressed and barefoot, and who led to the increasing authority of Islamic Iran, and instilled disappointment in the camp of the arrogance [the West, led by the U.S.].

“The school of pure Islam that gives life [i.e. the Shi’ite Islamic Revolution] was trapped in the damage of ignorance of history and caught up in misinterpretations and misperceptions that were sometimes specific, revived itself by virtue of the guidance of the enlightened elder [Khomeini], and [continues to do so] today by virtue of the leadership of the Supreme Leader of the Muslims of the world [i.e. Khamenei]. We owe the continuation of the glorious Islamic revolution and Iran’s stable peace and security to the struggle and heroic deeds of the martyrs [during] the Iran-Iraq war, to the martyrs who defended ‘the holy places’ [i.e. the Iranian soldiers sent to Syria], particularly the commander of hearts, the martyr Haj Qassem Soleimani [the late IRGC Qods Force commander killed by the Americans in January 2020], to the martyrs [working in] health and security, and to the patience of their families. We believe that in the second phase of the revolution, the new foundations of the great Islamic civilization are being laid by emphasizing the discourse of the promised happiness that has no substitute and that grants identity.

“Now, on Revolution Day, after [44 years] of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, with the motto ‘Iran is strong, 44 years of honor,’ at the end of the national and glorious march of today that is an expression of the coalescence of determination and unity of the word and solidarity of the Muslim nation of Iran, we declare loudly, with ‘Allah akbar [God is great], Khamenei is the leader,’ the following:

“We, the nation of velaya [i.e. the rule of the jurisprudent, Khamenei], consider him the most precious legacy of the Imam Khomeini. Today, more than ever, the light of his existence is difficult for Satans, bats, and people of darkness and ignorance…..

China, Russia and Iran hold joint naval drills in Gulf of Oman, NSC’s Kirby isn’t concerned

Once again, the Biden Administration is factoring itself out of a critical global event.

With Russia demonstrating its determination by threatening to use nuclear weapons, along with its suspension of a nuclear arms control treaty and its threat to resume nuclear tests, there’s a big reason to be concerned. Add to that the fact that Iran has issued a threat that designating its Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist group will be seen as an act of war. And that China just brokered a groundbreaking deal that saw Iran and Saudi Arabia resume ties. Biden’s America remains as clueless as ever and has now descended to the role of a global jester.

The threat of a world war is real. Meanwhile, Kirby downplays the China-Russia-Iran deadly alliance that is holding joint military naval drills in the Gulf of Oman. Let’s also keep in mind Iran’s determination to obliterate Israel and China’s ambition to invade Taiwan.

Meanwhile, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) also conducted military drills ahead of its call for a third intifada:

Speaking after large-scale military drills were held in the northern Gaza Strip on Monday, Abu Hamza threatened that “the Islamic Jihad will cause the stupid enemy to be worn down by launching rockets in its direction, since the organization has many other means of warfare that will hurt the enemy.”

Will Kirby claim that PIJ conducting drills is merely routine, too?

“China, Russia, Iran hold joint naval drills in the Gulf of Oman,” Associated Press, March 15, 2023:

BEIJING (AP) — Naval forces from China, Iran and Russia — countries at odds with the United States — are staging joint drills in the Gulf of Oman this week, China’s Defense Ministry said Tuesday.

Other countries are also taking part in the “Security Bond-2023” exercises, the ministry said without giving details. Iran, Pakistan, Oman and the United Arab Emirates all have coastline along the waterbody lying at the mouth of the strategic Persian Gulf.

“This exercise will help deepen practical cooperation between the participating countries’ navies … and inject positive energy into regional peace and stability,” the ministry statement said.

U.S. National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby said Wednesday that the White House was not concerned by the joint training exercise. Kirby said the U.S. and other nations conduct training exercises all the time and this won’t be the first time that the Russians and Chinese have trained together.

“We’re going to watch it, we’ll monitor it, obviously, to make sure that there’s no threat resulting from this training exercise to our national security interests or those of our allies and partners in the region,” Kirby said on CNN. “But nations train. We do it all the time. We’ll watch it as best we can.”

The exercises scheduled for Wednesday through Sunday come amid heightened tensions between the U.S. and China over a range of issues, including China’s refusal to criticize Moscow over its invasion of Ukraine and continuing support for the Russian economy.

The U.S. and its allies have condemned the invasion, imposed punishing economic sanctions on Russia and supplied Ukraine with defensive arms. Iran and the U.S. have been adversaries since the founding of the Islamic Republic in 1979 and the taking of U.S. diplomats as hostages.

China has dispatched the guided missile destroyer Nanning to take part in the drills centered on search and rescue at sea and other non-combat missions. China maintains its only foreign military base, complete with a navy pier, in the Horn of Africa country of Djibouti, located just across the Gulf of Oman.

The three countries held similar drills last year and in 2019, underscoring China’s growing military and political links with nations that have been largely shunned by the U.S. and its partners.

Last week, China hosted talks between Iran and its chief Middle Eastern rival Saudi Arabia that resulted in an agreement between them Friday to restore full diplomatic relations after seven years of tensions…….

When New York State Attorney General Letitia James and 11 Democratic elected officials join a drag queen story hour three days from now, the message will be clear. Organized child groomers will have a major power base inside not only the state Legislature but also the state’s top law enforcement office.

The purpose of the show: To seduce children into believing they can be any “gender” they want, a step along the way toward grooming them for sexual abuse.

The state’s top law enforcement official and a communist in everything but name, James, indeed, is the hostess. She’s working with a professional groomers outfit, Drag Story Hour NYC, which openly brags about grooming kids.

The rise of the drag queen story hour is a key component of the “transgender” movement, a collection of mentally ill sex deviants who think they are members of the opposite sex and lobby for the chemical castration and genital mutilation of children.

Until recently the trannies kept to themselves. Now out in the open, they’re coming for the kids.

James and Her Fellow Groomers

James, the elected officials, and, of course, the drag queens, will groom the kids for four hours on March 19, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Aside from the Empire State’s Groomer-in-Chief, the following elected officials enlisted as assistant groomers:

Understandably, the invitation to officially sanction grooming didn’t go over so well.

“The ‘family-friendly’ event will take place at the ‘Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center,’” Ashley St. Clair tweeted. “Your tax dollars are hard at work grooming kids!”

“New York attorney general Letitia James (D.) announced she is hosting a drag queen story hour ‘read-a-thon’ for children ‘up to age 12,’ an event that allows minors to explore ‘gender fluidity,’” Relentless podcaster Kyle Becker wrote. “The Democratic Party is disgusting.”

“Your attorney general has taken the lead in the proverbial race to the bottom.” Crime In NYC tweeted.

Some attacked James, suggesting she’s a drag queen, and even some homosexuals opposed the event

“Doing a deep dive into Drag Queen Story Hour in NYC,” homosexual Republican activist Matt Antar said.

“It’s worse than I thought. I thought it was just the drag in front of kids. No. It is radical gender ideology indoctrination too. They are asking kids for their pronouns and telling them they can be a boy, a girl, or neither.”

The outfit hosting the event is open about its grooming.

Such is the appetite for grooming little kids that the perverts offer their programs in myriad languages.

“In our original 45-minute Drag Story Hour (DSH) program designed for children ages 3-8, local drag performers trained by children’s librarians read picture books that touch on themes of diversity and difference, sing songs, and do craft activities,” the website continues:

Pushing Tranny Propaganda

James, of course, isn’t the only Democrat pushing the groomer agenda. It’s now a key plank of the Democratic Party, and an obsession inside the White House, which is pushing it everywhere in government, including the military.

Drag queens have performed at a Democratic Party event and even at U.S. military bases. As well, Biden appointed a cross-dressing man, who wants to castrate kids and give them penectomies and mastectomies, to be the No. 2 health official in the country. Biden also hired a bald, “non-binary,” cross-dressing sadist to run the nation’s nuclear waste program. He was caught stealing luggage. Biden opened the military to men in lipstick and high heels. Biden’s State Department is pushing tranny propaganda across the globe.

The tranny movement’s first public champion was homosexual Magnus Hirschfeld, who ran thither and yon in Weimar Berlin dressed like a woman. He was called Auntie Magnesia, and his sex institute became an oasis for mentally ill sex deviants, whom he mutilated with “sex change” operations. 

Now, they’re grooming kids in public, and elected officials are helping.
