(Natural News) Another prominent banking executive, John Waldron of Goldman Sachs, is predicting major economic doom in the very near future.

At a recent investor meeting, Waldron echoed the sentiments of JPMorgan’s Jamie Dimon concerning what Dimon called an “economic hurricane” that is about to make landfall.

Joking that he would avoid “using any weather analogies” as Dimon did, Waldron expressed similar fear about inflation, ever-changing monetary policy, and of course,  Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the latter being every Western influencer’s favorite scapegoat for what is now unfolding.

“This is among – if not the most – complex, dynamic environments I’ve ever seen in my career,” Waldron told investors. “The confluence of the number of shocks to the system to me is unprecedented.”

One of the harshest critics of the Federal Reserve in the banking world, Waldron says he expects that there will be “tougher economic times ahead” than even the current inflation and shortage crisis that we are all seeing and feeling.

“No question we are seeing a tougher capital markets environment,” he explained.

Concerning the merger market, Waldron says he expects a slowing from the current “resilient” levels.

“That’s going to start to roll over because you see demand destruction, CEOs get a little less confident,” Waldron explained. “That’s a reasonable expectation, but we’re watching that carefully as a signal.”

From mid-October to late April, global macro data seemed to be moving in a somewhat positive direction, which some saw as a possible turnaround. All of that changed suddenly, however, when the Citi Economic Surprise Index plummeted from over 50 just a few months ago to around 8.60 as of this writing.

Is the “everything” bubble about to burst?

For most of this nation’s history under the oppressive rule of private central banking (the Fed), inflation has technically always been a problem. It is just that it remained hidden because of fancy tricks and tools that were designed to keep the masses confused and distracted while the value of the dollar eroded.

The Fed’s little schemes – which are hardly little at all – are not foolproof, though. Every so often, the bubble inflates too much and they run out of hat tricks to keep it contained, resulting in a crash. We saw this most recently at the start of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) plandemic in 2020, and before that in 2008 with the housing market collapse.

They call these “bubbles,” and at various intervals, these bubbles seem to pop, the big guys are bailed out, and reinflation begins once again. The reality, though, is that the bubbles of the past never fully deflated, and the can of inflation was simply kicked down the road even further.

Currently, we are in the largest bubble of all – the everything bubble to end all bubbles. The crash that is soon to come will be monumental, and this time there is a strong chance that it will not recover.

This time, we are likely to see that ever-ominous “Great Reset” that World Economic Forum (WEF) head Klaus Schwab and others have been warning is soon to come. The current world order, which is mostly built on fiat, will crumble away, leaving a void to be filled by a new world order.

“Western governments have been able to hide inflation, allowing them to spend vast amounts of money,” wrote someone at Zero Hedge about how the fiat printing press aims to keep the house of cards standing, at least for a time.

“Wall Street was able to generate insane amounts of profit by cutting out U.S. labor. The unraveling of all this will be quite a spectacle.”

Biden says Americans have to get ready for more blackouts as energy infrastructure nears breaking point

(Natural News) For a couple of years, rolling blackouts have been regular occurrences in the state of California, the Midwest, and the Deep South. Now, the Joe Biden administration is saying that people have to get ready for even more blackouts this summer as the energy infrastructure nears breaking point.

In the June 3 episode of “Zoon Politicon,” commentator Holly Seeliger talked about the problems brought about by the Biden administration’s push for green energy.

With the grid system not nearly producing enough electricity, a vast swath of land from the Great Lakes to the West Coast is at risk of blackouts as drought takes its toll amid power plant and supply chain woes.

John Bear, CEO of Midcontinent Independent System Operator, which serves the Midwest corridor from Minnesota to the Texas Panhandle, said that energy shortages move the area in the direction of rotating blackouts. The North American Electric Reliability Corporation also lists the Midwest as the one being at the highest risk for energy cuts.

The Federal Electricity Regulatory Commission, an independent body that oversees the U.S. electric grid, estimates that power prices in the region may soar up to 233 percent at the peak of summer, which is boosted by high demands as temperatures rise and gas prices continue to soar.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration also estimates that the average summer temperatures across the U.S. will be between 50 and 80 percent higher than normal.

The Biden administration’s effort to transition six energy grids to a decarbonized system is also part of the problem. According to Bear, part of the effort is phasing out fossil fuel units before new batteries are available. The White House also previously announced Biden’s long-term strategy to decarbonize the U.S. economy by 2050, but under these efforts, each of North America’s six electricity grids will see power capacity decline.

Reliability crisis could create dangerous outages in Texas, California

Significant outages have already been faced by the Texas grid over the winter storm in February 2021, which killed 246 people. The grid is set to lose 2.9 gigawatts of gas, coal, and nuclear capacity this year, as well. Meanwhile, the grid run by Bear will lose 3.2 gigawatts of power due to retiring coal plants, which will not be replaced. Republican commissioners on the FERC and some industry groups argued for a slower transition to avoid energy shortfalls. One of its members, Mark Christie, said they were headed for a reliability crisis, as they are not yet ready for such a move.

Democrats on the commission, on the other hand, are pushing that power transmission issues are the reasons for periodic blackouts, not the energy transition.

California grid operators, in contrast, have also warned that the state faces a risk of blackouts during the next three summers due to power supply shortages. This prediction is based on an analysis of existing power supplies, with new sources expected to come online and the potential of extreme events, including potential gaps between electricity supply and peak demand.

The state is also trying to shift to cleaner energy, although it isn’t the best long-term solution to power issues. Droughts make hydropower less available, while wildfires reduce electricity transmission, according to the California Energy Commission and the California Public Utilities Commission. California’s electricity blackouts are likely to return this summer due to supply shortages. The most precarious window for electricity supply shortages is in the early evenings after solar power stops working, and September is expected to be the most problematic month.

When Parham Saadat saw a bloodied man outside Encino Hospital Medical Center, his first thought was that the man was a patient seeking treatment.

But then he realized the man was wearing scrubs, and there was no one around him rendering aid. Saadat and his coworker, who were leaving work at a nearby dental office, ran across the street to help the nurse.

“He tells us, ‘There’s somebody inside, a patient who stabbed me,’” Saadat said. “‘And he’s stabbing other people inside.’”

The patient, whom police identified as Ashkan Amirsoleymani, 35, was taken into custody Friday night on suspicion of stabbing two nurses and a doctor. Police said he appeared to have entered the hospital under the guise of seeking treatment for an unspecified ailment. All three victims were hospitalized and stable Saturday, according to investigators.

Saadat and his colleague, Faraz Farahnik, of Encino Dental Smile, asked people in the hospital’s front reception area for towels to control the bleeding of the male nurse who had been stabbed, he said. “His guts were out,” he said. “He had a pretty bad slash.”

The man told them that the patient had said he had a gun, then pulled out a knife and stabbed him, Saadat said. They called for an ambulance and helped load the man onto a gurney, he said.

Someone then ran out of the hospital begging for help, saying there was a doctor who had also been wounded, he said.

Saadat and Farahnik entered to find a chaotic scene, he said. Police hadn’t yet arrived. “People were kind of confused about what to do,” he said.

“There was blood all over the floor, blood in the rooms, blood on the gurney the doctor was laying on,” he added. “It was a bloodbath.”

A tall man wearing a blue flannel shirt and holding a knife was calmly pacing around, he said. He entered a small room that appeared to be a storage area, and Saadat ran up behind him and closed the door, he said.

“A nurse came and helped me hold the door, and then a security guard came,” he said. “We asked them to hold the door closed.” The man did not try to push his way out but stood over a sink, possibly wiping his knife, he said.

“The guy wasn’t even reacting,” he said. “He was just standing in the room, his back toward the window of the door. I’m not really sure what he was doing. But it was definitely pretty creepy.”…

The suspect had a small black dog with him, but a nurse picked it up during or after the stabbings, Saadat said.

The dental hygienist said he’s received training to deal with these types of emergencies and doesn’t consider himself squeamish. Despite the traumatic nature of the experience, fear set in only when he made eye contact with the man while holding the door to the storage room closed.

“He just very calmly turned his face and looked at me through the window, then turned his head back around. No reaction,” he said. “That’s where it kind of got me.”
