Google has the power to manipulate what you see online, targeting you with certain advertisements and burying search results they’d rather you not see. But can they go so far as to control the outcome of political elections? Absolutely, according to Robert Epstein, Ph.D., a senior research psychologist at the American Institute for Behavioral Research and Technology (AIBRT).
Epstein, a Harvard-trained psychologist who founded the Cambridge Center for Behavioral Studies, likens Google to a dictator with unprecedented power because it relies on techniques of manipulation that have never existed before in human history. The free services they provide really aren’t free, he warns. “You pay for them with your freedom.”1
In the video above, Epstein speaks with Jan Jekielek, senior editor of The Epoch Times, about Google’s ability to control public policy, swing elections, and brainwash our children. Google has the power “to censor content, to track our every move, to tear societies apart, to alter the human mind, and even to reengineer humanity,” Epstein writes in his report, “Google’s Triple Threat,”2 which he details in his interview with Jekielek.
The methods Google uses are ephemeral and leave no paper trail, making it very difficult to track and prove that they’re using humans as pawns, manipulating us in ways that we can’t counteract. Ephemeral experiences occur briefly, then disappear, and include things like a list of suggested videos on YouTube, search suggestions, and topics in a newsfeed.
“They affect us, they disappear, they’re stored nowhere and they’re gone,” Epstein says. “It’s the ideal form of manipulation. People have no idea they’re being manipulated, number one, and number two, authorities can’t go back in time to see what people were being shown, in other words, how they were being manipulated.”3
Epstein and his team, however, have found ways to track Google’s invisible, almost subliminal, tools, including the search engine manipulation effect (SEME). According to Epstein:4
“SEME is one of the most powerful forms of influence ever discovered in the behavioral sciences … It leaves people thinking they have made up their own minds, which is very much an illusion. It also leaves no paper trail for authorities to trace. Worse still, the very few people who can detect bias in search results shift even farther in the direction of the bias, so merely being able to see the bias doesn’t protect you from it.”
Research by Epstein and colleagues has found that biased search results can change people’s opinions and voting preferences, shifting opinions in undecided voters by 20% to 80% in certain demographic groups.5 Internal emails leaked from Google talk about “ephemeral experience,” and the company makes a point to engineer ephemeral experiences intended to alter the way people think.
SEME, however, is just one of about a dozen subliminal tools that Epstein’s team has discovered. Others include the “search suggestion effect,” the “opinion matching effect” and the “YouTube manipulation effect.”6
As Epstein and his team began to preserve politically related ephemeral experiences, extreme political bias was uncovered on Google and YouTube, which is owned by Google’s parent company Alphabet.
In the days leading up to the 2020 Presidential election and 2021 Senate runoff elections in Georgia, for instance, they preserved 1.5 million ephemeral experiences and more than 3 million web pages, which were sufficient to shift “at least 6 million votes in the presidential election without people’s knowledge.”7
This isn’t an isolated incident. In 2016, Google’s search algorithm-generated biased search results that influenced undecided voters, giving 2.6 million to 10.2 million votes to Hillary Clinton.
Epstein makes a point to state that he leans left politically, but despite Google’s bias in working to support the candidates he supported, he can’t applaud it, “because rigorous research I have been conducting since 2013 has shown me how dangerous these companies are – Google-and-the-Gang, I call them.”8
Even displaying a “Go Vote” reminder on Google on election day in 2018, Epstein found, gave one political party an extra 800,000 to 4.6 million votes compared to what the other party got. What’s more, Epstein says those numbers are “quite conservative.”9 “In other words,” Epstein explained, “Google’s ‘Go Vote’ prompt was not a public service; it was a vote manipulation. This type of vote manipulation is an example of what I call the ‘Differential Demographics Effect.’”10
Epstein also had a monitoring system in place in 2018, which preserved more than 47,000 election-related searches on Google, Bing, and Yahoo, along with nearly 400,000 web pages that the search results linked to. The political bias that was uncovered in the results may have shifted 78.2 million votes to one political party.11
Even the “autocomplete” feature that occurs when you start to type in Google’s search engine is a powerful manipulation tool. “A growing body of evidence suggests that Google is manipulating people’s thinking and behavior from the very first character people type into the search box,” Epstein writes.12 Just from this feature alone, Epstein’s research found Google can turn a 50/50 split among undecided voters into nearly a 90/10 split — all without people realizing they’re being manipulated.
Further, because Google’s persuasive technologies are so powerful, and many elections worldwide are very close, Epstein’s data suggest Google has likely been determining the outcomes of up to 25% of national elections worldwide since at least 2015.13
It’s important to understand that Google is a surveillance agency with significant yet hidden surveillance powers, and this is one of its primary threats to society. As noted by Epstein:14
"The search engine … Google Wallet, Google Docs, Google Drive, YouTube, these are surveillance platforms. In other words, from their perspective, the value these tools have is they give them more information about you. Surveillance is what they do."
While surveillance is Google's primary business, its revenue — which exceeds $130 billion a year — comes almost exclusively from advertising. All that personal information you've provided them through their various products is sold to advertisers looking for a specific target audience. Meanwhile, they also have an unprecedented censorship ability. By restricting or blocking access to websites, they decide what you can and cannot see.
The most crushing problem with this kind of internet censorship is that you don't know what you don't know. If a certain type of information is removed from a search, and you don't know it should exist somewhere, you will never know and you won’t go looking for it. This is how hundreds of millions of people have been deprived of learning the power of natural healing from me and many other clinicians who have been censored by Google.
For example, Google has been investing in DNA repositories for quite a long time and adding DNA information to our profiles. According to Epstein, Google has taken over the national DNA repository, but articles about that — which he has cited in his own writings — have all vanished. As it stands, Epstein is worried about the future if no one steps in to stop Google’s power:15
“As the father of five children, I am especially concerned about what humanity’s future will look like if Big Tech is allowed to continue unobstructed on its path toward world domination. In the 1950s, British economist Kenneth Boulding wrote, ‘A world of unseen dictatorship is conceivable, still using the forms of democratic government.’
I am writing this essay because I believe that such a world already exists, and that unless we act quickly and decisively, the power that the technology company executives have garnered will become so firmly entrenched that we will never be able to unseat them from their invisible thrones.”
The first step to breaking free from Google’s dictatorship is recognizing that the manipulation is occurring. The next involves consciously opting out of it as much as possible. It’s especially important that children are protected, as they are among the most vulnerable to the onslaught of manipulation, which will have serious consequences to future generations. Epstein noted:16
“We’re trying to figure out how the manipulation works. But most importantly, we’re trying to quantify it … Because I think that what’s really happening is that there is a cumulative effect of, not just political bias, but a value literally a cumulative effect of being exposed to certain kinds of values, over and over and over again, on one tech platform, or after another.
And I think that the people who are most vulnerable to being impacted by that kind of process are children.”
Epstein has compiled six steps that can help protect your privacy online, noting that he hasn’t received a targeted ad on his computer or mobile phone since 2014 as a result. To take back some of your online privacy, for yourself as well as your children, he recommends:17
1.Get rid of Gmail. If you have a Gmail account, try a non-Google email service instead such as ProtonMail, an encrypted email service based in Switzerland.
2.Uninstall Google Chrome and use Brave browser instead, available for all computers and mobile devices. It blocks ads and protects your privacy.
3.Switch search engines. Try Brave search engine instead, which you can access on the Brave browser and will not compromise your privacy and surveil you.
4.Avoid Android. Google phones and phones that use Android track virtually everything you do and do not protect your privacy. It’s possible to de-Google your cellphone by getting an Android phone that doesn’t have a Google operating system, but you’ll need to find a skilled IT person who can reformat your cellphone’s hard drive.
5.Avoid Google Home devices. If you have Google Home smart speakers or the Google Assistant smartphone app, there’s a chance people are listening to your requests, and even may be listening when you wouldn’t expect.
6.Consider using a proxy or VPN (Virtual Private Network). This service creates a buffer between you and the internet, “fooling many of the surveillance companies into thinking you’re not really you.”

This story is about the proposed new World Health Organization pandemic treaty that can potentially eradicate the national sovereignty as we know it. It is also about the banality of evil and the impact of our individual daily choices on future generations and the history of the world.
In December 2021, the World Health Organization announced its plan to develop a new pandemic treaty “strengthening” international cooperation during future pandemics. What does it mean in practical terms? The language of the announcement was vague, so we need to interpret it in context. Here’s from the horse’s mouth: (December 2021):
“In a consensus decision aimed at protecting the world from future infectious diseases crises, the World Health Assembly today agreed to kickstart a global process to draft and negotiate a convention, agreement or other international instrument under the Constitution of the World Health Organization to strengthen pandemic prevention, preparedness and response.
Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO Director-General, said the decision by the World Health Assembly was historic in nature, vital in its mission, and represented a once-in-a-generation opportunity to strengthen the global health architecture to protect and promote the well-being of all people.”
More from the horse’s mouth (April 2022):

Per the INB’s timeline, the first round of those hearings has been set for 12-13 April 2022, with a second round set for 16-17 June. This information on the modalities for the first round of hearings is also expected to apply to the second round as well.”
Let’s start with the issue of distorted language. In an honest world with no dark agendas, no Fourth Industrial Revolution, and no upside-down language, their treaty could sound like a beautiful idea. Like, what can possibly be wrong with benevolently guided, meaningful international cooperation during a time of crisis? A beautiful fairy tale, no?
Sadly, not a fairy tale at all but more like a horror movie because we are living in a world of shameless lying and upside-down language — and the words no longer mean what they are supposed to mean.
To deceive us, the bureaucrats are trying to create a feeling in our minds that they getting together to protect us, like a benevolent council of wise indigenous grandmothers — while in reality, it’s more like they are aiming to trap us, being a gang of greedy and ruthless wolves in sheep’s clothes that they are.
“Health” doesn’t mean actual health but rather the promotion of any product or interference that is desirable to the shareholders and the CEOs of pharmaceutical and technology companies.
Just like Fauci recently equated himself with science, the corporate mouthpieces equate whatever they want to sell or impose on us with “health,” and then say they are protecting our “health” while in fact, they are merely protecting their pockets.
We are living in a world where our leaders (translation: our fellow human beings who have no intrinsic upper hand on us but who have gotten ahead on the basis of being extremely power-hungry) are taking full advantage of the fact that in order to do destructive things with the least resistance, they can call them “useful things that are good for the people,” and get away with it for some time. That’s the trick!
And besides, if the past two years are any indication, “international cooperation” means in practice that all WEF-affiliated leaders go ahead and throw their people under the bus in unison, to the sound of uniform messaging in the media.
“International cooperation” means that all countries do the same destructive thing, resulting in unnecessary human death and suffering, disruption of social structures, and the world economy, all to clear the way for their favorite “new normal.” That’s some international cooperation!
Given the self-proclaimed historical nature of this treaty, the World Health Organization dedicated the whole two days to the first round of the public hearings (and they didn’t advertise it much). The first round took place in April 2022. The second round will be held in June of this year.
Dr. Tess Lawrie wrote a very moving article about the WHO pandemic treaty and the video comment submission by the World Council for Health.
Here are Dr. Lawrie’s comments on the proposed treaty, after she had a chance to participate in a call with the WHO (as well as UNAIDS, the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations, the UN Environment Programme, and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations) as a part of the submission process.
•Calls for ‘human security centric’ not just ‘health security centric’. Apparently, they don’t just want to control your body but every aspect of your life.
•Fast approval of emergency diagnostics – and unified regulatory registration for diagnostics. In other words, more control.
•Equitable access to vaccines and ‘a mechanism to hold violators accountable’. So if a nation concludes a vaccine is not safe – as has happened in this last pandemic – the WHO would have the power to override that and jab their population anyway.
•Vaccines should be developed within 100 days. This is absurd. Safe drugs take ten years to be adequately tested and declared safe. There are more than 3.5 million people on the WHO database who have been harmed by Covid vaccines and this may be the tip of the iceberg.
I agree that these bullet points sound like it’s about control, so no surprise that it comes with more censorship!
While the public comments were open, the #StopTheTreaty campaign by the World Council for Health, where Dr. Tess Lawrie is on the Steering Committee, was the talk of the town in the “freedom community.” But if you searched for it on Google, you wouldn’t know anything about it! Here’s what I wrote just a few hours after the comment period ended:
“If you search for the phrase “WHO pandemic treaty” on DuckDuckGo, #StopTheTreaty comes up among the top results. On Google though no such thing exists. If you actually search for the phrase “stop the treaty,” on DuckDuckGo #StoopTheTreaty is the number one result. Google, on the other hand, tells you everything you ever wanted to know about the 1919 Treaty of Versailles!)”
It is curious that it’s not the first time that the WHO is trying to serve the pharmaceutical industry and various industry shareholders by using “pandemic preparedness” as a legal tool.
For example, in 2009, they announced an influenza pandemic (H1N1) that activated vaccine purchasing agreements and forced participating countries to large batches of doses that they didn’t need. The rushed release of a subpar medical product led to a “narcolepsy fiasco,” among other things.
According to the report by the Council of Europe’s Parliamentary Assembly:
“The Parliamentary Assembly is alarmed about the way in which the H1N1 influenza pandemic has been handled, not only by the World Health Organization (WHO), but also by the competent health authorities at the level of the European Union and at national level.
It is particularly troubled by some of the consequences of decisions taken and advice given leading to distortion of priorities of public health services across Europe, waste of large sums of public money, and also unjustified scares and fears about health risks faced by the European public at large.
The Assembly notes that grave shortcomings have been identified regarding the transparency of decision-making processes relating to the pandemic which have generated concerns about the possible influence of the pharmaceutical industry on some of the major decisions relating to the pandemic.
The Assembly fears that this lack of transparency and accountability will result in a plummet in confidence in the advice given by major public health institutions. This may prove disastrous in the case of the next disease of pandemic scope - which may turn out to be much more severe than the H1N1 pandemic …
The rapporteur considers that some of the outcomes of the pandemic, as illustrated in this report, have been dramatic: distortion of priorities of public health services all over Europe, waste of huge sums of public money, provocation of unjustified fear amongst Europeans, creation of health risks through vaccines and medications which might not have been sufficiently tested before being authorised in fast-track procedures, are all examples of these outcomes.”
Even Forbes wrote in 2010 that “from the beginning, the World Health Organization's actions have ranged from the dubious to the flagrantly incompetent.” A poignant quote:
“The WHO's dubious decisions demonstrate that its officials are too rigid or too incompetent (or both) to make needed adjustments in the pandemic warning system — deficiencies we have come to expect from an organization that is scientifically challenged, self-important and unaccountable.
The WHO may be able to perform and report worldwide surveillance — i.e., count numbers of cases and fatalities — but its policy role should be drastically limited.
U.N. bureaucrats pose as authorities on all manner of products, public policy and human activities, from desertification and biodiversity to the regulation of chemicals, uses of the ocean and the testing of genetically engineered plants.
However, the U.N.'s regulatory policies, requirements and standards often defy scientific consensus and common sense. Its officials are no friends of commerce, public health or environmental protection. The result is a more precarious, more dangerous and less resilient world. When it comes to pestilence, the U.N. may be the greatest plague of all.”
It’s noteworthy that just before the WHO declared a pandemic, they changed the definition of the word. From the British Medical Journal:
“WHO for years had defined pandemics as outbreaks causing “enormous numbers of deaths and illness” but in early May 2009 it removed this phrase — describing a measure of severity — from the definition.
Key scientists advising the World Health Organization on planning for an influenza pandemic had done paid work for pharmaceutical firms that stood to gain from the guidance they were preparing. These conflicts of interest have never been publicly disclosed by WHO, and WHO has dismissed inquiries into its handling of the A/H1N1 pandemic as ‘conspiracy theories.’
A joint investigation by the BMJ and the Bureau of Investigative Journalism has uncovered evidence that raises troubling questions about how WHO managed conflicts of interest among the scientists who advised its pandemic planning, and about the transparency of the science underlying its advice to governments.
Was it appropriate for WHO to take advice from experts who had declarable financial and research ties with pharmaceutical companies producing antivirals and influenza vaccines?”
In 2019, Marc Van Ranst, Belgian Flu Commissioner, gave a talk at the ESWI/Chatham House Influenza Pandemic Preparedness Stakeholders Conference. At around 13 minutes in, he boasted about how he “misused the fact that that the top, top football … soccer clubs in Belgium inappropriately and against all agreements vaccinated … they made their soccer players priority people.” The audience responded with laughter.
In order to understand the corruption inside the WHO, one may want to watch a pre-pandemic documentary called “Trust WHO,” produced by Lilian Franck. Among other things, it looks into various conflicts of interest as well as examples of how the organization has been influenced by the tobacco industry and the nuclear industry.
Last year, I interviewed Mary Otto-Chang, a former United Nations employee, who talked about the hijacking of the UN and the 2019 agreement between the UN and the World Economic Forum that the Fourth Industrial Revolution as a cooperation goal.
So what we are looking at is using the authority of the UN as supposedly a just and wonderful international organization that protects the people for the commercial and philosophical goals of the richest people of the world. What an intricate lie!
Most horrible things that people do to each other don’t come out of anywhere. There is usually a “warm-up” period during which evil actions are trivialized, and people’s senses are “re-trained.”
Sometimes, using upside-down language, people’s senses are re-trained to the extent of swapping out the meanings completely, where war becomes peace, and murder becomes compassion. It takes time to dehumanize entire demographics — based on a particular ethnicity, or religion, or health status, or any other arbitrary affiliation.
For example, in early Nazi Germany, there was a campaign to kill mentally disabled children, (and also do inhumane experiments on them), and the parents were often told that their children were being taken away for better care. The parents didn’t know that their children were being murdered — but the nurses who killed the disabled knew exactly what they were doing, but perhaps some of them believed that they were performing acts of mercy!
There is a powerful, must-see documentary about it, called, “The Killing Nurses of the Third Reich.” I wrote about it last year:
“The only thing that was needed for the nurses to make the transition to the horror zone was to decide that the poor suffering imbeciles had no agency. As soon as in their minds, the nurses stripped the disabled children and the mentally ill adults of their human agency and turned them into creatures akin to suffering pets, killing them became virtuous. The nurses held the disabled babies lovingly, and then killed them.”
Something that I have been thinking about a lot over the course of my life is how our choices have long-term consequences: for ourselves, for the people around us, and even for the history of the world!
For example, to come back to the topic of pandemic preparedness, much of what happened in the U.S. in 2020 was made possible thanks to Bush’s 2005 decision to redo the pandemic preparedness plan. Who paid any attention to it back in 2005? Who could imagine that it would have such a profound impact on our lives? Nobody, probably, except for the people who planned it. And yet here we are …
Or another example. When people accept censorship against the groups that they don’t relate to, they often don’t think that the censors are coming for them next — and yet more often than not, that is exactly what happens.
Or sometimes, a choice that we make at a very young age comes back to us years later, and whatever we tried to escape stares us straight in the face, and we have to deal with it anyway.
Which is to say, courage and trying to do the right thing are not only praiseworthy, they are also very practical, especially during challenging times.
There is most certainly no formula, and no universal prescription for a time like this but it’s important to see the scammers in high chairs for who they are (including when they talk about pandemic preparedness treaties “for our own good”), and to see through them without being afraid. When we stand together, with love in our hearts, we are strong.

A courageous Florida mother, January Littlejohn, is standing up against the violation of her parental rights “after her transgender child transitioned at school without her consent.” Littlejohn is now suing the school.
The girl was 13 at the time of transition.
Minors are under the custodial care of adults for a reason. Teens are more inclined to act on emotions and impulsivity, given their developing brains and hormones.
The battle for parental rights continues everywhere as Leftists seek to impose state control over children and arrogate to “educators” the right to decide what is in children’s best interests. The Biden administration is advancing institutional “gender-affirming care,” which encourages support for a range of “treatments” for gender dysphoria, including surgery, speech therapy, puberty blockers, and hormone therapy for children and adolescents who say they identify as transgender.
Every youngster has a need to belong, and the instant effect of becoming part of a community may seem to be lifesaving for them at the moment. However, conditioning children to believe that transgenderism is the solution to their identity crisis is a big mistake. Youth vulnerability is being manipulated by some adults (who are making significant money in doing so), to the long-term detriment of children.
Transgender Assistant Secretary of Health Rachel Levine is rigid, slamming critics of “gender-affirming care,” saying that “no doctor worth their salt opposes it.” Levine’s response was a direct response and insult to Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo, who opposes it.
Activists such as Levine ignore the natural hormonal and psychological processes that many youngsters go through in struggling to adapt to a difficult and/or awkward adolescence, not to mention the impacts of life’s stresses (inside and outside of the home). Instead, transgender activists are coaching youngsters that any number of natural or life difficulties they may experience can be attributed to a gender identity crisis, which can be “easily fixed” via “gender-affirming care.” In other words, kids are being groomed, while anyone who opposes this practice is demonized as “abusive,” “discriminatory” or “not worth their salt.”
There are many people who end up regretting and reversing their transgender decision, which proves on its face that a key premise of transgender activists such as Levine, that anyone who struggles with gender identity issues is actually the other gender, is false.
In a case from Canada, a victim of transgender grooming who came from an “emotionally manipulative family” in the first place describes her experience as a teen, struggling with her gender identity issues:
She could move into the Covenant House youth shelter, and then freely go on hormones to push ahead with medical transition.
“They thought it was so important for me to be on testosterone that it was OK if I left home and probably didn’t graduate high school,” recalled Eva, who asked that her last name not be published to preserve her privacy around sensitive issues. “Even at that point in life, when I was 16 and totally believed this was the only thing that was going to save me, I was more rational about it.”
Unfortunately, not every youngster is able to be “rational about it,” as Eva was fortunate enough to be. Many who regret their decisions go the full way of transition, and after their adolescent turbulence, they are left picking up the pieces of regret and the irresponsible adult destruction of their lives.

A Florida mother is filing suit and issuing a stark warning to parents nationwide after her transgender child transitioned at school without her consent.
Florida mom and mental health professional January Littlejohn and her attorney Vernadette Broyles discussed the lawsuit and why she is “outraged” over the incident.
“This is happening all over the nation,” Littlejohn warned on “Fox & Friends First” on Monday. “This same protocol is in place in many, many schools across districts everywhere, and even the guides being used to dictate these transgender support plans that cut parents out even have the same language.”
“So this is a very systematic way that parents are being excluded from important decisions occurring with their children, and further, social transition is a medical intervention that schools are grossly unqualified to be taking these steps without parental involvement,” she continued.
According to Littlejohn, her daughter, who was 13 years old at the time, expressed confusion over gender during the pandemic after a group of friends transitioned to the opposite sex.
She eventually found out the school was working on a “transgender support plan” with her child, but the school initially declined to allow her involvement given she was “protected by a nondiscrimination law.”….

Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra implied that minors should decide for themselves if they want to undergo irreversible “gender-reassignment” procedures. The secretary also stated that it is up to a patient and his or her physician to choose to use off-label puberty blockers even though they might pose a risk to children’s health.
During Wednesday’s Senate Appropriations Committee hearing, Becerra was asked by Senator Mike Braun (R-Ind.) about the department’s endorsement of “gender-affirming care” for young children, which includes the prescription of hormone therapy and sex-change surgeries.
Referring to a recently released department document titled “Gender-Affirming Care and Young People,” Braun asked Becerra why the department recommended using puberty blockers that were not approved for use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), i.e., were not considered “safe and effective” for gender-transition purposes in minors.
“Would you agree that the off-label prescription for usages not approved by the FDA is potentially dangerous for patients, especially kids?” asked the senator.
Becerra reassured him that if there were any serious concerns about such drugs’ safety, the FDA would “raise the alarm.”
“The FDA would raise alarms if they saw that a particular medicine or treatment would be misused. At this stage, what we know is that for a drug to be out there available, it has to be safe and effective as the FDA has found,” said the secretary.
In other words, if the hormone therapy drugs hurt children, the FDA would say so. And if it does not, then the drug is “safe,” and there is nothing to worry about.
Braun was quick to point out what appears to be a double-strand approach to medicine, implying the department was not as tolerant when it came to endorsing off-label Covid treatments. “For many parents across the country, this [use of puberty blockers on their children] has more potentially tragic consequences,” he noted.
After Becerra failed to provide a definition of what irreversible “top” and “bottom” surgeries are, both mentioned in the HHS document, the senator went on to ask in what case it would be appropriate to perform irreversible gender-reassignment surgery on kids.
“Those decisions are made by that individual in consultation with the physician and caregivers, and no decision would be made without having consulted appropriately,” Becerra answered.
Braun argued the government should not be “pushing” children toward having irreversible sex-change therapies and surgeries.
“We’re navigating in territory that we’ve never done as a government,” he said, proposing a focus on improving children’s mental health rather than therapies that permanently alter children’s bodies and lives. “It would be wise to back up a little bit” with the current approach taken by the HHS, Braun suggested.
To that, Becerra reaffirmed his position that “in America,” those who “need” to have “life-affirming care” should receive it. The secretary also said that the recommendations posted by his department are backed by “many of our medical experts” who found that these interventions “help improve the lives of many Americans.”
As reported by The New American, in late March, the HHS launched a new website that offers “resources for transgender and LGBTQI+ youth, their parents, and providers,” the goal of which is to “affirm an LGBTQI+ child.” According to the site, when children and adolescents believe that their “gender identity” does not match their biology, they should be offered support from mental-health “councils” to “reaffirm” the child’s perceived “identity.”
The HHS also released an aforementioned document that lists “appropriate” treatments for “transgender” youths. This includes “top” surgery, which creates a “male-typical chest shape or enhances breasts,” and “bottom” surgery, which involves genital or reproductive-organ surgery. The department also recommends using “facial feminization,” puberty blockers, and prescribing testosterone for girls and estrogen for boys who are confused about their gender.
The HHS resources are only a part of the Biden administration’s much broader pro-trans agenda, which included policies ranging from “reinforcing federal protections for transgender children” to improving transgender travel experiences.
Last week, Assistant Secretary for Health Rachel Levine, the highest-ranking “trans” person in the government, said that medical professionals have reached a consensus on the value of gender-affirming care for “transgender” children.
“There is no argument among medical professionals — pediatricians, pediatric endocrinologists, adolescent medicine physicians, adolescent psychiatrists, psychologists, etc. — about the value and the importance of gender-affirming care,” Levine, a medical doctor trained in pediatrics and adolescent medicine, told NPR.
Levine’s statement appears to be incorrect. According to the guidance released by the Florida Department of Health in late April, there is a lack of “conclusive evidence,” particularly regarding the “potential for long-term, irreversible effects” of gender-reassignment therapy for children. The document also refers to a paper published in the International Review of Psychiatry that found that 80 percent of those seeking gender-altering therapy will lose their desire to identify with the opposite sex.

Day by day, it seems that the ruling class and their media mouthpiece are dedicated to one principle: find problems where none exist and ignore real problems that are in desperate need of attention.
Consider the words of U.S. President Joe Biden, speaking during Eid al-Fitr with Muslims at the White House on May 2. He said:
[T]oday, around the world, we’re seeing so many Muslims being targeted with violence. No one, no one should discriminate against the oppressed or be oppressed for their religious beliefs…. Muslims make our nation stronger every single day, even as they still face real challenges and threats in our society, including targeted violence and Islamophobia that exists.
Now, let’s briefly parse these surreal claims:
[T]oday, around the world, we’re seeing so many Muslims being targeted with violence.
Where are the statistics for this claim? Rather, what we’re used to seeing is Muslims targeting non-Muslims with violence. According to one tally, for example, during just this last Ramadan, or basically the month of April 2022, Muslims launched 177 terror attacks “in the name of Islam” that murdered 1,086 people. Again, that’s just during one month—Islam’s “holiest” month. The same tally finds that there were zero attacks and zero deaths by non-Muslims operating under the name of their religions.
No one, no one should discriminate against the oppressed or be oppressed for their religious beliefs.
Of course, everyone agrees with this—except, apparently, the one group that Biden was speaking to and presenting as “oppressed,” namely, Muslims: systematic discrimination and oppression are endemic to the Muslim world, and that’s because systematic discrimination and oppression are integral parts of the religion of Islam and codified in sharia.
If you’re a non-Muslim, you are openly treated as inferior and with fewer rights. That’s if you’re lucky; otherwise, you’re outright persecuted and possibly killed for your faith. As a recent report found, 360 million Christians around the world are persecuted for their religious identity—and the overwhelming majority of that persecution occurs in Muslim nations. In fact, the persecution Christians experience in 39 of the worst 50 nations is due to Islam. Yet never a word about this from Biden. Instead:
Muslims make our nation stronger every single day, even as they still face real challenges and threats in our society, including targeted violence and Islamophobia that exists.
While one can point to several ways Muslims potentially make the U.S. weaker every day—from terror attacks and violent crimes to engaging in propaganda and subverting the nation from within—it would be useful to explain one reason as to how “Muslims make our nation stronger every single day.” Sure, it sounds nice, but some concrete examples, please.
As for Biden’s complaint about “targeted violence and Islamophobia that exists,” as seen, whatever that may be, it is a tithe of the targeted violence that Muslims launch on others.
As for the “Islamophobia that exists”—and which has existed since Islam was born, for obvious reasons—it is simply a manifestation of the fact that more and more people are learning the truths of Muhammad’s creed, despite the talking points of Biden and the rest.

Pro-Homosexual Group Coming To Nazarene Theological Seminary May 10-12
If the hosting of a pro-homosexual group at a seminary does not bother the conscience of a member of the Nazarene denomination, then perhaps nothing will. If my Nazarene friends remain silent because of this story, then they could well remain silent for anything else. If the reaction of anyone reading this is to condemn or rebuke me or anyone else for exposing evil, then you have some serious praying to the Lord to do. And if a Nazarene pastor reading this decides to remain silent, then perhaps he ought to give up his credentials and stop preaching.
Recently, it was a pro-same-sex marriage theologian, Willie James Jennings, spoke at an event sponsored by Nazarene Theological Seminary (NTS). Jennings is a theologian who is in favor of same-sex marriage. Homosexuality is an abomination according to God’s word, but that did not stop the seminary from bringing in a speaker who rejects Holy Scripture.

In the link at the end, you will see that the seminary is now welcoming an organization (Love Wins LGBT) that is pro-homosexual. And once again I ask, “where is the leadership?” This all is happening right under the noses of those who are charged to guide the denomination spiritually. Is it possible that some of them actually approve of this abomination? And as you will see, former General Superintendent Jesse Middendorf is right in the middle of the movement to normalize homosexuality in the Church of the Nazarene.
Love Wins LGBT is a group that claims to be a Wesleyan-Holiness movement, but it is not. It is a façade, a charade. It is a group that I believe is pushing for the normalization of homosexuality within the Church of the Nazarene. The leader of Love Wins: LGBT is Andy (Anderson) McGee, who is “pastor” of Trinity Family Mid_Town Church of the Nazarene in Kansas City, KS. I have written several posts about this “pastor” and his pro-homosexual agenda.
Andy has supported gay activists who promote same-sex marriage, praised a “gay Christian” conference, praised a racist organization, praised the National Coming Out Day, and has testified that he is bi-sexual. When you study more and more of his ministry, you will notice that there is never any mention of Jesus Christ helping those in the homosexual community to be freed from their slavery to homosexuality. In February of 2022, NTS officially relaunched the CPL with the name “Praxis” – a term used to describe a church’s ongoing life that moves between study/reflection and engagement/action; each movement informs the other. This strategic renaming broadens the CPL’s scope to better serve the life of the Church in the 21st Century.
Nazarene Theological Seminary’s vision to provide lifelong learning and encourage leadership in the local church became a reality with the formation of the Center for Pastoral Leadership in 2014. Under the leadership of Dr. Jesse Middendorf and the Rev. Dana Preusch, the Center has provided thousands of hours of lifelong learning and thoughtful resources, events, and support to Nazarene clergy in the USA/Canada region and beyond. Praxis will build on and expand this work.
Once again, one of the usual suspects in this movement to normalize homosexuality within the Church of the Nazarene is Jesse Middendorf, a former General Superintendent. To think that a man who was in the highest office of the Nazarene denomination has been one of the leading promoters of Andy’s “ministry” should be quite concerning.
A notable speaker at the conference is Antonie Holleman, District Superintendent of the Netherlands District Church of the Nazarene. The Holland district has already been shown to have churches that bless same-sex unions. A few years back, I sent a warning to the General Superintendents about this, and about a Nazarene pastor in that district who admitted to blessing same-sex unions. I never got a response, and as far as I know, that pastor is still active in the district. See my report here.
This movement is not new. I recall in the General Assembly at Indiana, in 2013, when I attended a session run by Andy. A Nazarene pastor at the end of the session spoke accurately and faithfully of how Christ can change anyone from whatever wrong lifestyle that dishonored God. I recall yelling out “Amen!” after he spoke, and I was met with disapproval by several people around me, including some Nazarene pastors. The state of the denomination is most likely worse now than it was back then.
Will there be any righteous voices speaking out amongst the leadership of the church? I believe there are some, but there needs to be more. But if this ignoring of the situation continues on, it will spell doom for a denomination that says much about holiness, but surely is not doing enough of a job of rebuking those who are “lovers of themselves” and who worship the created instead of the Creator.
Personal Thoughts
I am not trying to convince Nazarenes to leave the denomination. I don’t even have as much time as I used to have. I simply want to encourage them to do the right thing. The right thing may be different for each person, but the wrong thing is to ignore it all. Perhaps you will have had enough, and leave the denomination. Perhaps you are part of a faithful Nazarene church, and you won’t abandon faithful pastors. Perhaps you will join the fight and try to bring the denomination back to its holiness roots, which it seems to be abandoning. But why would you want to remain silent and allow the church to slide more into heresy?
In Galatians 4:16, the Apostle Paul asked the churches in Galatia a question. “Have I, therefore, become your enemy because I tell you the truth?” What good does it do if someone has cancer, but the doctor does not say a word about it to the patient? Why are some Nazarenes determined to protect the reputation of a denomination that is proclaiming holiness on the outside, but inwardly is rotting with spiritual cancer?
In Galatians 1:6-10, the Apostle Paul writes about what is going on within the church:
6 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 7 which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. 10 For do I now persuade men or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.
When Ezekiel was charged by God to warn the people about any coming danger, the Lord clearly stated the consequences. If Ezekiel would listen to God, and warn the people, he then would not be held responsible if the people perished. But if he failed to warn the people, and one single person perished, he would be held equally responsible for failing to do his duty. That is what I am doing, and others are doing as well. We are being faithful by warning the people of the danger.
I’ve been rebuked and condemned by some Nazarenes for distributing negative information (warning the people) about things going wrong in the Church of the Nazarene. So have many others who are still Nazarenes who have been warning others within the denomination. Instead of raising the alarm, or contacting those in leadership to ask questions, many Nazarenes are treating the messengers as if they are doing something un-Christian!
Many Nazarenes are either turning away to a different gospel, or they are totally ignoring the danger. They seem to say “as long as it’s not in my backyard or church” then I don’t care. Meanwhile, apostate pastors-to-be are being groomed at Nazarene Theological Seminary to lead more sheep astray. They will be wolves in sheep’s clothing, leading many to hell because of a false gospel. And the Nazarenes who refuse to learn biblical discernment will be spiritually shipwrecked.
In Proverbs 27:6, the writer states that “Faithful are the wounds of a friend,
But the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.” Would you rather be lied to? Or would you rather know the truth?

Something to keep an eye on: tensions have started to rise between Russia and Israel. Israel is expanding its aid to Ukraine, “including military assistance,” but “not offensive weapons.” In recent weeks, Zelensky has also turned to Israel’s “strategic advisors close to former prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu.”
Leaders in Jerusalem have also “lambasted Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov for claiming Hitler had Jewish origins.”
A main concern that drove Israel’s caution at the outset of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in the first place was the Russian-controlled airspace over Syria. Israel and Russia have been cooperating to control Iran’s presence there. Netanyahu advised the Israeli government in February to be quiet about Russia and focus on Iran.

Israel is leaning toward expanding its aid to Ukraine, including sending military assistance to the embattled country.
Israeli officials have said Jerusalem can send “plenty of items” to Kyiv that are more defensive, but air-defense systems, advanced weaponry and attack systems would not be sent, Haaretz reported.
The increase in aid would be a “substantial step” compared with what Israel has already provided, the report said, adding that it would be more symbolic and “not include substantial quantities of supplies” because of the aid already provided by the US and European countries.
Jerusalem has been trying to strike a balance between Russia and Ukraine, but Haaretz quoted a source as saying the US and some European countries expect Israel to take a clearer stance regarding which side it is on “and to back its decision with deeds and not just statements.”
A meeting by defense officials is planned for the coming days to discuss what platforms or supplies can be provided to Ukraine.
The Defense Ministry did not comment on the report.
Last week, Brig.-Gen. (res.) Dror Shalom, head of the Defense Ministry’s Political Security Division, took part in a US-led summit that discussed international defense aid to Ukraine.
Israel was among 43 countries – 29 NATO members and 14 non-NATO members – that attended the summit in Germany. Shalom’s participation could be viewed as a possible shift in stance by Israel, which has been attempting to preserve its close ties with Moscow….

(Natural News) The most epic and dangerous economic storm in history is now upon us… and there’s no way out. The central banks and government kleptocrats have set the trap for themselves, and now they’re caught with no escape.
Yesterday the Fed just raised interest rates by 50 basis points (0.5%) in an effort to stem the tide of exploding inflation. But with real inflation at anywhere from 15% – 25%, the tiny gesture of 0.5% will have little effect on halting inflation.
It will, however, have a huge effect on real estate markets which, I publicly predicted three weeks ago, have already reached their peak. (I called the “top” of the real estate market around April 18th.) Higher interest rates mean higher costs to service mortgage loans, and that makes it more difficult for potential buyers to qualify for bank loans on overpriced housing and land. The result will be swift: A rapid unwinding of the housing bubble that was catapulted into place by absurdly low-interest rates and seemingly endless money printing.
But that’s only the beginning of the news of the economic storm that’s now upon us.
The US trade deficit has now soared to nearly a $110 billion deficit in one month (March), which means the US simply isn’t exporting much, compared to all the things it is importing. This is a frightening indicator for the state of the US economy in the long run.
In addition, as CNBC is reporting, a shocking new economic report reveals that US worker productivity fell by 7.5% in the first quarter of 2022. That’s almost like a plunge off a cliff. Yet even as worker output is plunging, worker costs are skyrocketing. So America’s businesses and manufacturers are paying more money for less productivity. Prices go up, output goes down. Not a good thing for the economy.
CNBC is also reporting that e-commerce activity is falling sharply, and e-commerce platforms are getting hammered in today’s 1,000+ point plunge in the DOW, with some stock prices for e-commerce giants trading down as much as 17% in one day.
With mad money printing continuing at a panic pace, it’s only a matter of time before the entire debt-based fiat currency deception machine implodes, leading to what financial analyst Gregory Mannarino predicts could be up to 80% losses in stocks, bonds, and other dollar-denominated assets. In that interview, Schectman unveils his stunning analysis (which I agree is accurate) about how BRICS nations are poised to unleash their own gold-backed digital currency that will instantly unseat the dollar as the world reserve currency.
Importantly, Schectman explains this will happen in one day, without warning, with no exits for those left holding dollars. This is a very important interview to pay attention to (I’m going to be interviewing Schectman in a few weeks to get even more details about his analysis):
Bottom line? Andy nails it. He gets the big picture, and you should heed his warning or pay the price of losing literally all your dollar assets when the music stops. The days of dollar dominance are rapidly coming to an end. And that means the days of easy money, affordable consumer goods, low-cost loans, and easy credit are also nearly over.
Adding to the shocking turn of global events, the governments of both Germany and Switzerland are now publicly urging their citizens and businesses to stockpile essential supplies and prepare for scenarios such as power grid collapse or nuclear war.

German Interior Minister: Citizens should start hoarding emergency supplies – Against the background of the Ukraine war, Federal Interior Minister Nancy Faeser advised citizens to take survivalist precautions in the event of a crisis.
This not only affects technical issues, “but also supplies for food, medicines or medical supplies”. There are still 599 nuclear shelters in Germany. There are also some that are used differently today. “It makes sense to reactivate some of them,” Faeser said.
And in Switzerland, even the mainstream corporate media there is reporting the near-panic at the highest levels of government: “Swiss companies told to brace for electricity shortages,” blares the SWI (Swissinfo.ch):
In the absence of an electricity agreement with the European Union, such a scenario is likely if large power plants fail in Switzerland or abroad.
A power failure could cause damages of up to CHF4 billion ($4.3 billion) a day, the newspaper notes, citing government figures.
Switzerland risks significant problems guaranteeing electricity in the short and medium-term, especially in winter, in the absence of progress on a deal with the EU, according to experts.
Nowhere in this article, of course, do they mention that Switzerland has violated its traditional position of neutrality and is now all-in with NATO nations that are sending weapons to Ukraine and carrying out economic weapons of mass destruction against Russia, the primary provider of natural gas that powers Europe’s electrical grid (including, to some extent, the power grid of Switzerland).
In essence, Germany and Switzerland are warning their citizens to prepare for energy and economic crisis that was artificially created by their own governments. That’s the sheer stupidity of progressive socialist Europe, which will almost certainly see the complete destruction of the Euro currency in the next year or so, only adding to the economic suicide of the West.
Western Europe is about to experience an economic hellscape of its own making, yet its political leaders continue to issue destructive, insane decisions on a daily basis, no matter how stupid the ideas are. Anything that can be said to “punish Russia” — even if it severely harms European citizens — is being unleashed without any consideration whatsoever of long-term repercussions.

The latest Fox News poll reflects a pro-life trend that has been growing for years. In a poll completed just before Politico announced the leak of the Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization on Monday, Fox reported that a majority thinks abortion should be illegal “all (11%) or most of the time (43%).” Those who think abortion should be legal “is [at] a record low and it’s also the first time the portion saying ‘illegal’ has been above 50% on a Fox News poll.”
The trend favoring the pro-life position has been apparent for years. Back in 1998, Gallup asked, “Do you think abortions should be legal under any circumstances, legal only under certain circumstances, or illegal in all circumstances?” At the time, 15 percent said abortion should be illegal in all circumstances. Ten years later, that percentage was 18 percent, and since then it has moved higher, to nearly 20 percent.
According to the Pew Research Center’s latest polling results, 39 percent say abortion should be illegal in all or most cases.
Last June, Gallup found that 52 percent of Americans take a pro-life position on abortion, wanting all (19 percent) or almost all (33 percent) abortions made illegal. That same poll found that only 32 percent of those polled think abortions should be legal up to the moment of birth.
January 2021, a Marist poll found a majority of those polled were pro-life and oppose all or nearly all abortions. A poll conducted later that year by CBS News reported that 55 percent of Americans say abortion should either be more limited or should not be permitted at all.
A Morning Consult poll conducted last year found that a majority of those polled want abortions to be made illegal either in all cases or only legal in very rare cases such as rape or incest, or when the pregnancy directly affects the life of the mother. Those exceptions constitute less than two or three percent of all abortions, which means, as Steven Ertelt of Life News put it, “Most Americans support making virtually all abortions illegal.”
At least one of them — Texas SB 8, the “Heartbeat Law” — made headline news, especially as other states such as Oklahoma and Idaho passed nearly identical laws.
In commenting on the Texas law, former Texas congressman Dr. Ron Paul pointed out that
It is no coincidence that Roe v. Wade came at a time when respect for natural rights of life, liberty, and property, was on the decline.
Roe contributed to the decline….
The ultimate solution, Dr. Paul wrote, was to reverse the trend by recognizing that abortion is the taking of an innocent life:
The way to reverse these developments is to restore respect for the inalienable right to life, liberty, and property, of all human beings, both born and unborn.
The cause of life is inseparable from the cause of liberty.
It’s taken 50 years, but the trend, and the momentum, is unmistakable. The Supreme Court “leak” is now propelling forward the conversation that states and their citizens must have on the issue. And they’re increasingly moving back to the Declaration of Independence’s crystal-clear statement:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.

Amid SCOTUS Leak, Congressional Democrats Push Radical Abortion Bill

Democrats in Congress, weaponizing a recent leak suggesting the Supreme Court will overrule Roe v. Wade, are seeking to enact a blatantly unconstitutional bill that would enshrine Roe v. Wade into federal law and overturn all state-level restrictions on abortion.
The bill, deceitfully titled the “Women’s Health Protection Act,” is numbered H.R. 3755 in the House and S. 1975 in the Senate. The House version, sponsored by Representative Judy Chu (D-Calif.) has 215 cosponsors; while the Senate version, sponsored by Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.), has 47 cosponsors. Not only is every cosponsor a Democrat, but nearly the entire Democrat congressional caucus supports this radical bill.
On September 24, 2021, the House voted 218-211 in favor of H.R. 3755 — with only one exception, every Democrat voted in favor of it. On February 28, 2022, Senate Democrats attempted to pass the bill, but it was defeated by a 46-48 vote.
Despite H.R. 3755’s failure to pass the Senate, the Left will continue doing everything possible to force it through. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer vowed to hold another vote on the bill, and leftists are renewing their calls to end the filibuster, even if only for abortion-related votes.
H.R. 3755 and S. 1975 are packed with extremist and unconstitutional provisions. It would:
- End all state and federal laws requiring parental consent for minors to obtain an abortion.
- End all state laws requiring doctors to give mothers information about alternatives to abortion.
- End all state restrictions on late-term abortions; only six other countries, including China and North Korea, allow abortions this late.
- Force medical professionals to commit abortions against their conscience.
- Force hospitals to commit abortions or else lose public funding.
- End the Hyde Amendment and other safeguards preventing taxpayer funding of abortions.
Under Article I, Section 8 and the 10th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, the federal government has no authority to any make laws concerning abortion, much less override state laws that prohibit or restrict it in order to protect the life of the pre-born.
Additionally, H.R. 3755 and S. 1975 are littered with “woke” language such as “reproductive justice.” It also claims that abortion and other “restrictions on reproductive health … perpetuate systems of oppression, lack of bodily autonomy, white supremacy, and anti-Black racism.”
H.R. 3755 and S. 1975 are unconstitutional bills that seek to uphold a deeply flawed, unconstitutional, immoral, and unscientific Supreme Court ruling. Congress would be wise to totally reject them.

Far-left Website Vice Promotes "Do-it-yourself" Abortion Pills

On Tuesday, the far-left website Vice promoted and shared a self-described anarchist group’s recipe for a do-it-yourself abortion pill, which could allow prospective mothers to end their baby’s life without medical assistance. The Four Thieves Vinegar Collective, a biohacking group, which has a history of sharing do-it-yourself medications, first concocted their homemade abortion pill in 2019.
Last year, in reaction to the Texas legislature passing its heartbeat law, the group released a 17-minute video on how to make misoprostol tablets, which can be used to induce abortions. The video is presented by Michael S. “Mixael” Laufer, the leader of the Four Thieves Vinegar Collective.
“The first thing to mention is this has been put together with a little bit of haste,” Laufer said in the video. “There’s been a great deal of panic because the Republic of Texas has gotten up to some shenanigans to benefit people who are in power and to keep a bunch of other people powerless.”
While it’s unwise to promote “do-it-yourself” medication, isn’t it even more unwise to do so “with a little bit of haste?”
On Tuesday, Laufer shared the video on Twitter. Despite their much-stated aversion to sharing “medical misinformation,” the tweet remains up on the social network.
“Not hypothetical at all. Go forth and rock it,” Laufer wrote.
In the video, Laufer lays out his shady methods for how to obtain misoprostol from veterinarians who use the drug to treat ulcers in horses.
“You will need the misoprostol powder, you will need a scale, you will need a pollen press … you’ll need some confectioners’ sugar and some cornstarch or powdered milk, and you’ll need a spray bottle. And that’s it, six things,” Laufer calmly asserts in the video, in which he explains how to kill a fetus in utero.
“The video is likely to help at least some people seeking abortions,” the Vice story, written by Jason Koebler, asserts. The article appears on the Vice Motherboard technology page.
“Motherboard cannot speak to the safety of making your own pills, and the Four Thieves Vinegar Collective has been criticized by some in the pharmaceutical and medical establishment who think that making DIY medicine isn’t safe under any circumstances,” Koebler’s story says.
But Motherboard’s Twitter page issued no such caveat, instead linking to the video with a tweet that reads, “Misoprostol is relatively easy to acquire from veterinary sources, since in addition to medically inducing abortions, it’s also used to treat ulcers in horses.”
So the story provides the caveat that the safety of making your own abortion pills cannot be vouched for, but then the source’s Twitter page tells you how easy it is to get the ingredients.
If you’re thinking that Vice was among those criticizing people such as Joe Rogan and Aaron Rodgers for using ivermectin, which news sources such as CNN continually referred to as “horse medicine,” despite the fact that the drug also had human uses, you’re absolutely right. Vice at least appears to grasp the irony a little bit.
“This is reminiscent of ivermectin, which is used to control parasites in horses but also became a favored — but ineffective — COVID treatment among conspiracy theorists. Ivermectin’s use in horses made it easier for humans to get without a prescription,” the piece points out.
At the time, Vice itself tweeted that Rogan was spreading “misinformation.”
“Rogan has recovered from COVID-19 and used his first show back to spread misinformation about the horse-deworming drug he took,” Vice tweeted with a link to a story which accused Rogan of “shilling for ivermectin.”
Now Vice itself is shilling for a horse drug to be used on humans — for abortion, of all things.
Since a leak at the Supreme Court revealed a draft of a majority decision that would overturn Roe v. Wade — the flawed high court decision that has allowed abortion to be legal at the federal level since 1973 — pro-abortion forces have ramped up their rhetoric and intimidation tactics against the Court and pro-life forces.
And now, at least one far-left information source is even promoting risky do-it-yourself abortions.

Someone named “Darrian the insurrectionist” (@DarrianRilley) wrote on Twitter that “Political violence works,” and that the left really needs to stop “playcating [sic] to the right.”
“Leftist [sic] in America need to burn down the Supreme Court if Roe V wade is overturned,” this account further wrote, apparently not breaking any of Twitter’s “community guidelines” with this violent rhetoric.
Another Twitter user named “Schrödinger’s Zen … (or Roger)” (@RWNJ_) promised to “HELP BURN THIS [expletive] TO THE GROUND!!!” if Roe v. Wade gets overturned.
Then we have “Chrisoula Baikos #GoodTrouble” (@SOEAtlanta) who called for a “Scorched earth” response to the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
“Burn it all to the ground,” this red-haired female added, with Twitter’s apparent blessing.
“REMINDER: the Democratic House, Senate and Presidency could stop this with ONE LAW, TODAY,” added someone named “Elizabeth C. McLaughlin (she / her)” (@ECMcLaughlin).
“BURN IT ALL DOWN,” McLaughlin added.
Conservatives have been taken down by the state for saying much less
On and on and on, on their social media platform of choice, leftist Twitter users are not beating around the bush in expressing their demonic bloodlust for abortion to remain legal at all costs.
If these deranged baby murderers do not get their way, they are planning (or so they say) to burn down the Supreme Court and other American institutions. You might even say they are planning an insurrection against the United States government, come June.
Keep in mind that conservatives were tarred and feathered for storming the Capitol building in Washington, D.C., last summer. The Left called Trump supporters “insurrectionists,” and some of them are still rotting in prison without charges due to their political activism.
Now, the same virtue signalers who decried right-wing free speech as “violence” are openly calling for actual violence if they lose their “right” to tear limb-from-limb unborn children.
On his blog, Hal Turner from the “Hal Turner Radio Show” explained that he was arrested by federal agents back in 2009 for far less than what deranged leftists are now tweeting on Twitter.
Turner wrote an editorial about a federal court of appeals ruling that called the three judges in that case “traitors” to the Constitution. It also quoted Thomas Jefferson’s famous “Tree of Liberty” letter, which reads:
“The tree of liberty must be replenished from time to time, with the blood of tyrants and patriots …”
“These judges deserve to be killed,” Turner further opined in the piece, adding that “their blood would replenish the tree of liberty, a small price to pay to assure freedom for millions.”
At the time, Turner was told that because “someone (who read my editorial) might take my words to heart and take action” that he was guilty of a “threat” – even though his op-ed was just that: an opinion.
“I was arrested, held without bail, prosecuted in December, 2009 and the trial resulted in a HUNG JURY, 9 voted ‘not guilty,'” Turner writes. “The government prosecuted me again in March, 2010, and again, HUNG JURY.”
“The government went on to prosecute me an astonishing THIRD TIME. By then I was bankrupt and could not afford my lawyers, so I was given a public defender. At trial #3 on Friday, August 13, 2010, I was convicted and sent to federal prison … Because ‘someone might take my words to heart.'”

VIOLENCE IS THEIR RELIGION: Abortion advocates in LA attack cops with rocks, smash squad car windows

(Natural News) Violence erupted in Los Angeles after pro-abortion extremists stormed the streets in response to the leaked Supreme Court plan to overturn Roe v. Wade.
According to Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Chief Michel Moore, protesters swarmed Pershing Square and began throwing rocks at police officers. Some of them also smashed squad car windows, injuring one officer in the process.
“A segment of the group began to take the intersection,” Moore tweeted. “We attempted to communicate, clear and provide dispersal order to the group.”
“Crowd began to throw rocks and bottles at [officers],” he added. “We have one [officer] injured ([unknown] extent).”
An ambulance was called to the scene as photos and video footage of the violent incident began to circulate on social media.
Protesters were also seen toppling barriers and tagging graffiti outside the U.S. Courthouse at 350 W. 1st St. A tactical alert was issued to ensure enough resources for other service calls, though it was deactivated before 11 p.m.
Many pro-abortion rioters in LA were seen carrying communist flags
Journalist Andy Ngô also tweeted about the protest, which looked a whole lot like the George Floyd riots of mid-2020.
Calling the crowd a “mob” of “far-left pro-abortion rioters,” Ngô offered his followers a breakdown of what happened, along with video footage – see below:

Ian Miles Cheong also tweeted about the LAPD face-off with abortion-loving “communists,” since many in the violent mob were seen carrying communist flags.
All of this is quickly shaping up to be George Floyd 2.0, and in a mid-term election year, no less. Keep in mind that the Floyd riots also occurred during a critical election year.
“Electioneering is what Democrats call this,” wrote someone at Zero Hedge about how the leak appears staged, especially when considering the timing.
“A spontaneously (organized days ago) peaceful riot with zero consequences for the DemonRat organizers and paid ‘demonstrators,'” wrote another, adding to the sentiment. “The FBI will move in and seize all evidence and make it disappear.”
“The cops were triggered and ran away to a safe space where they could get three weeks paid leave while getting therapy in various brothels in Panama, Costa Rica and Laguna Beach,” this same commenter further joked, perhaps hitting a few more truths along the way.
Another asked why leftists in Los Angeles, which is at no risk of losing abortion services any time soon, are upset that they will not be able to get an abortion in North Dakota. And more importantly, why are they attacking local police over something the Supreme Court is slated to do at the federal level?
“That’s not the issue,” responded another. “The goal is to rally the Democratic Morons to show up in November. The election is no longer about the miserable job the Dems have been doing; it is now about Roe v. Wade. Get it?”
“To get even, the Court should release a statement that the current consensus is not to overturn R.v.W., regardless of where it really stands.”
Another made the same connection to the George Floyd riots, suggesting that those, too, were orchestrated for maximum shock factor to persuade many otherwise apathetic people to get out there and vote against Donald Trump back in 2020.

PJ’s Rick Moran revealed recently that the chief of America’s new Thought Police, Disinformation Governance Board executive director Nina Jankowicz, brings a peculiar wealth of experience to her new job: she falsely claimed in 2017 that Republicans funded the notorious Steele Dossier that was a central element of the Russian Collusion hoax, and she insisted that Hunter Biden’s laptop was a “Trump campaign product.” So it’s clear: this is an individual who knows all about disinformation. She also brings a certain enthusiasm to her Disinformation Governance Board job, as is clear from a video Tucker Carlson broadcast Thursday, in which Jankowicz lustily belts out a song, sung to the tune of “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious,” denouncing disinformation.
Jankowicz herself tweeted the video on Feb. 17, 2021, with the caption, “You can just call me the Mary Poppins of disinformation.” Affecting a poor English accent, she sang:
Information laundering is really quite ferocious
It’s when a huckster takes some lies and makes them sound precocious
By saying them in Congress or in mainstream outlets so disinformation’s origins are slightly less atrocious
It’s how you hide a little lie, little lie
It’s how you hide a little lie, little lie

These are our moral superiors, America! These are the guardians of acceptable opinion! Is there anyone who ever saw this video who thought it was cute or funny? Likely the only people who did were members of Jankowicz’s own social circle: far-Left members of the Washington elite, affluent, comfortable, and untroubled by the rise of authoritarianism in the U.S. because they themselves are the authoritarians.
Tucker Carlson pointed out: “Now, you may have noticed if you listened carefully to the ditty that she just sang that every example of disinformation in her karaoke performance came from people who opposed Joe Biden’s policies. Is that a coincidence? Probably not. In fact, we know it’s not because Nina Jankowicz is telling [us that] all the disinformation is on the other side of the political divide.” That is no surprise, as the whole point of Jankowicz’s Disinformation Governance Board is to quash dissent by stigmatizing it as a falsehood that is inimical to the life and health of “our democracy,” by which Leftists mean “Leftist hegemony in politics and culture.”
Jankowicz is a natural for her new job. Not only does her revolting disinformation ditty reveal her enthusiasm for censorship, but she has been calling for it for quite some time. On Jan. 28, 2021, she published a lengthy article in Wired entitled “Online Harassment Toward Women Is Getting Even More Insidious: From coded memes to deepfake porn, abusive disinformation campaigns are sliding past moderation tools. Platforms, Congress, and employers need to help women fight back.”
On the same day, she tweeted: “For @WIRED, I wrote about the online gendered abuse I experienced, and the attacks we tracked against @KamalaHarris, @AOC, @IlhanMN, & more. Platforms and governments aren’t doing enough. It’s time to act. Our national security and democracy are at stake.” Apparently conservative women don’t experience any online harassment; that’s only for Leftist women. Ominously, Jankowicz declared in her article that “Congress should reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and include provisions against online gender-based harassment.” If the definition of “violence” is to be redefined to include certain types of speech, the door is opened to all manner of censorship. Anything can be said to be speech that might lead to violence, including political dissent, and silenced accordingly.
The very idea of the Disinformation Governance Board is bad enough, but the fact that Biden’s handlers would put a convinced and enthusiastic fascist such as Nina Jankowicz in charge of it is even worse. Nina Jankowicz has been preparing for this moment for practically her entire professional life, and this is her chance to shine on the biggest stage of all. Her own website is labeled “Nina Jankowicz, Disinformation Expert.” Her bio at that website begins: “Nina Jankowicz is an internationally-recognized expert on disinformation.” This is her entire professional identity. There is no doubt that she is going to undertake her new duties with gusto. And that’s just one more problem with this new Disinformation Governance Board, on top of all the others.

America has crossed the Rubicon. The Biden administration has established a Disinformation Governance Board, which is bad enough in itself, and even more ominously, it is part of the Department of Homeland Security. This sends the unmistakable signal that what the administration designates as “disinformation” will be treated as a national security issue, with the purveyors of this alleged disinformation being regarded as terrorists.
This is flagrantly unconstitutional, but it’s easy to imagine the Jesuitical arguments that Biden’s lawyers will make: “The First Amendment says that ‘Congress shall make no law…abridging the freedom of speech,” but Congress was not involved here; the Disinformation Governance Board has been established, not by Congress but apparently by the fiat of the president or the Homeland Security Secretary, within the Department of Homeland Security. Maybe they’ll also say that the freedom of speech is not being abridged at all, for the Founding Fathers surely didn’t intend to include “disinformation” within that freedom, did they? Surely they never intended that “disinformation” or “hate speech” would be allowed to proliferate, right?
The chief of Biden’s Thought Police, Nina Jankowicz, has already hinted at that argument. On Wednesday, she tweeted that “a HUGE focus of our work, and indeed, one of the key reasons the Board was established, is to maintain the Dept’s commitment [sic; is misspelling disinformation?] to protecting free speech, privacy, civil rights, & civil liberties.” Yes, she actually wrote that the Disinformation Governance Board was established in order to protect free speech. It’s likely that she isn’t just trying to gaslight the rubes, either. She almost certainly really believes that what she is doing is protecting the freedom of speech by getting rid of all the “disinformation” and “hate” that is blocking the way of the truth and giving the truth a clear path.
The only problem with this is that what Jankowicz herself and others among the Leftist political and media elites have more than once dismissed as “disinformation” turned out to be true. Jankowicz falsely claimed in 2017 that Republicans funded the notorious Steele Dossier that was a central element of the Russian Collusion hoax, and she insisted that Hunter Biden’s laptop was a “Trump campaign product.” Jankowicz is now defensive about passing on the claim from fifty-one (she said fifty, more disinformation) compromised intelligence officials that Hunter’s laptop was a “Russian influence op,” but is there really any doubt that if the Disinformation Governance Board had been up and running during the 2020 presidential campaign, it would have enthusiastically endorsed the intel wonks’ claim and denounced those who said that the laptop was real as purveyors of “disinformation”?
Even worse, in a larger sense, “disinformation” and “hate” are entirely subjective categories, based on the point of view of the person who is doing the evaluating. While Nina Jankowicz regarded Hunter’s laptop as Trump/Russia disinformation, it was convenient for her politically to do so, as she is aligned with Biden and his henchmen. Her evaluation of the laptop was clearly based on the fact that it would have worked to the advantage of her political opponents. There is no indication, none whatsoever, that Nina Jankowicz would ever come to the conclusion that something that aided the Left and hurt dissidents from the Left’s agenda was “disinformation,” or that something that advanced conservative causes was anything but “disinformation” and probably “hate” as well.
Yet despite the fact that the Disinformation Governance Board is quite obviously a partisan tool, Biden’s handlers likely don’t anticipate that it will get much pushback outside of rock-ribbed conservative sites. The Left has been preparing for this for a long time and softening up Americans to the idea that some legal, non-criminal, non-violent speech is actively harmful and must be suppressed. In October 2019, the Campaign For Free Speech (CFS), a pro-First Amendment advocacy group, released poll results showing that “51% of Americans think the First Amendment is outdated and should be rewritten” and that “48% believe ‘hate speech’ should be illegal.”
Who gets to decide what “hate speech” is? Nina Jankowicz, apparently. And what she will decide is entirely predictable. Now it remains to be seen whether there is still sufficient understanding of the importance of the freedom of speech in America today to stop the Disinformation Governance Board or whether it will overcome initial resistance to become an integral part of American public life, after the manner of the Department of Education.
When Jimmy Carter established that cabinet-level department, Ronald Reagan vowed to close it. When Reagan became president, however, he quickly found that shutting down the department was impossible, as too many Republicans, as well as Democrats, liked — and benefited from — the idea of a federal education bureaucracy. Will the Disinformation Governance Board follow the same trajectory? Will we see a Republican presidential candidate in 2028 or 2032 under fire for proposing a reduction in its funding? If we do, by that point it will hardly matter. America as a free society will be a dimming memory.

One of the most stunning parts of this pandemic has been the denial of basic science, and one of the most shocking developments from that has been the attack on medical doctors who try to set the record straight.
As reported by Dr. Jay Bhattacharya — professor of health policy at Stanford, research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research and coauthor of the Great Barrington Declaration, which calls for focused protection of the most vulnerable1 — a California bill is now threatening to strip doctors of their medical licenses if they express medical views that the state does not agree with.2
Bhattacharya has first-hand experience with this kind of witch hunt. He was one of the first to investigate the prevalence of COVID-19 in 2020 and found that by April, the infection was already too prevalent for lockdowns to have any possibility of stopping the spread.
Bhattacharya has called the COVID-19 lockdowns the “biggest public health mistake ever made,”3 stressing that the harms caused have been “absolutely catastrophically devastating,” especially for children and the working class, worldwide.4
After Bhattacharya co-sponsored the Great Barrington Declaration, Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), and his former boss, now retired National Institutes of Health (NIH) director Francis Collins, colluded behind the scenes to quash the declaration from day 1.5
To that end, they set out to smear and destroy the reputations of Bhattacharya and the other coauthors of the declaration. In one email, Collins referred to the three highly credentialed and respected scientists as “fringe epidemiologists” and called for a press “takedown” of the trio.6,7,8,9 I detailed this treachery in “Authors of Barrington Declaration Speak Out.”
“Big tech outlets like Facebook and Google followed suit, suppressing our ideas, falsely deeming them ‘misinformation,’” Bhattacharya writes.10 “I started getting calls from reporters asking me why I wanted to ‘let the virus rip,’ when I had proposed nothing of the sort. I was the target of racist attacks and death threats.
Despite the false, defamatory and sometimes frightening attacks, we stood firm. And today many of our positions have been amply vindicated. Yet the soul searching this episode should have caused among public health officials has largely failed to occur. Instead, the lesson seems to be: Dissent at your own risk.

This forced scientific groupthink — and the fear and self-censorship they produce — are bad enough. So far, though, the risk has been social and reputational. Now it could become literally career-ending.”
California Assembly Bill 209811 — introduced by Assemblyman Evan Low, a Silicon Valley Democrat, and coauthored by Assembly members Aguiar-Curry, Akilah Weber and Wicks, and Sens. Pan and Wiener — designates “the dissemination or promotion of misinformation or disinformation related to the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, or ‘COVID-19,’ as unprofessional conduct” warranting “disciplinary action” that could result in the loss of their medical license.
Misinformation or disinformation related to SARS-CoV-2 includes “false or misleading information regarding the nature and risks of the virus, its prevention and treatment; and the development, safety, and effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines.” But as far as what might constitute “misinformation” or “disinformation” is unclear and basically left open for interpretation — by the state. As noted by Bhattacharya:12
“Doctors, fearing loss of their livelihoods, will need to hew closely to the government line on COVID science and policy, even if that line does not track the scientific evidence.
After all, until recently, top government science bureaucrats like Dr. Fauci claimed that the idea that COVID came from a Wuhan laboratory was a conspiracy theory, rather than a valid hypothesis that should be open to discussion. The government’s track record on discerning COVID truths is poor.
The bill claims that the spread of misinformation by physicians about the COVID vaccines ‘has weakened public confidence and placed lives at serious risk.’ But how significant is this problem in reality? Over 83% of Californians over the age of 50 are fully vaccinated (including the booster) ...
What is abundantly clear is that this bill represents a chilling interference with the practice of medicine. The bill itself is full of misinformation and a demonstration of what a disaster it would be to have the legislature dictate the practice of medicine.”
We don’t have to guess at what life might look like if this and other bills like it are implemented, Bhattacharya warns. The drama currently playing out in Shanghai offers a clear look into what can happen when public health is dictated by the state rather than by qualified medical professionals rooted in sound science.
“Shanghai is the model for the terrifying dangers of giving dictatorial powers to public health officials,” Bhattacharya writes.13 “The harrowing situation unfolding there is a testament to the folly of a virus containment strategy that relies on lockdown.
For two weeks, the Chinese government has locked nearly 25 million people in their homes, forcibly separated children from their parents, killed family pets, and limited access to food and life-saving medical care — all to no avail. COVID cases are still rising, yet the delusion of suppressing COVID persists.
In America, many of our officials still have not abandoned their delusions about COVID and the exercise of power this crisis has allowed. As the Shanghai debacle demonstrates, of all the many terrible consequences of our public health response to COVID, the stifling of dissenting scientific viewpoints by the state might be the most dangerous.”
As stressed by Bhattacharya, the California bill includes a number of falsehoods and fails to acknowledge basic science, starting with natural immunity. High-quality studies have repeatedly shown that natural immunity is equivalent to or superior to COVID shots. Were this bill to pass, a California doctor could lose his license for taking a patient’s COVID history into account when recommending the shot.
It also negates doctors’ ability to prescribe off-label drugs for the treatment of COVID, even though this has been a common and uncontroversial medical practice for many decades. It’s not uncommon for a drug intended for one condition to be used off-label for another. But for some reason, when it comes to COVID, this practice is now deemed hazardous and unprofessional.
The bill also falsely asserts that the “safety and efficacy of COVID vaccines have been confirmed through evaluation by the federal Food and Drug Administration.” Anyone who has followed this circus over the past year realizes that the FDA has completely ignored loud and clear warning bells showing the shots are far from safe and nowhere near as effective as initially claimed.
The bill also ignores the fact that safety depends on the individual patient’s medical history and current state of health. “For example, there is an elevated risk of myocarditis in young men taking the vaccine, especially with the booster,” Bhattacharya notes.14
Doctors have an ethical obligation to treat each patient as an individual and to ensure each patient receives the safest and best care. Bill 2098 will turn doctors into government agents, leaving no one to advocate for patients’ health.
“The false medical consensus enforced by AB 2098 will lead doctors to censor themselves to avoid government sanction. And it will be their patients, above all, who will be harmed by their silence,” Bhattacharya warns.
California Bill 2098 isn’t the only bill seeking to enshrine tyranny into law. Other pending California bills include:15

Regulating the medical views a doctor can and cannot have is dangerous in the extreme, and hopefully, the Californians who are left to vote in that state will quash such efforts. On the national level, we must also stay vigilant against similar legislative proposals, and push back against phony front groups that promote this kind of medical tyranny.
This includes the No License for Disinformation23 (NLFD) group, which promotes the false information disseminated by the dark-money group known as the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH).
As most now know, U.S. Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., a medical doctor in his own right, has been the primary challenger of Fauci’s lies, and the NLFD has been instructing individuals to report him to the Kentucky Medical Board, with the aim of getting his medical license revoked.24
Just who are the NLFD?25 In November 2021, I wrote about the NLFD, pointing out that the bottom of their website declared, “Created & Developed by EverydayAmericanJoe.”26 At the time, I took a screenshot of it, in case they’d wise up and change it. Good thing, because that notice has since been deleted.
And, no wonder, because it leads right back to the Biden White House. EverydayAmericanJoe, created by a marketing strategist named Chris Gilroy, was a website dedicated to supporting Joe Biden’s presidential campaign. (That website has since been disabled.27)
According to his LinkedIn profile,28 Gilroy created EverydayAmericanJoe.com — “the largest Biden-Harris grassroots website online” — as a freelance senior marketing consultant and designer for the Biden campaign. Since 2007, he’s been the president of The Microtechs LLC, an online marketing, web development, and digital advertising firm that produces custom websites and apps “that our clients can manage themselves.”
Aside from the EverydayAmericanJoe clue, there’s no indication of who is actually running the NLFD. It simply claims to be a “nonpartisan grassroots coalition of Americans” whose goal it is to get state medical boards to “protect the public” from medical professionals “who spread medical disinformation.” In all likelihood, the NLFD is run by a coalition of one — Gilroy himself — who is far from nonpartisan.
Not surprisingly, the NLFD has promoted and relied on the CCDH’s fabricated “Disinformation Dozen” report, which has even been denounced as biased and flawed in the extreme by Facebook.29
It’s quite clear that the CCDH exists to fabricate “evidence” that is then used to destroy the opposition in order to control the information, and the NLFD uses the CCDH’s fabrications as justification to suppress First Amendment rights.30 Indeed, Biden himself has publicly promoted and relied on this dark money CCDH report.31
The point of all this is that censorship is being authorized and directed from the very highest level of our government, and there’s only one reason for that. Democracy flourishes under free speech and dies under censorship, and anyone who claims differently has an ulterior motive for trying to confuse these simple truths.
In my view, the war against “misinformation” and “disinformation” is nothing less than a covert war against the citizens of planet Earth. It’s an attempt to seize power by controlling what people can know, and a number of high-profile world leaders, past and present, have shown their true colors.
Among them, former president Obama, who in April 2022 gave lectures at the University of Chicago and Stanford, arguing for the regulation of information — what people can and cannot view on social media and elsewhere — “to protect democracy.”32
However, as noted by nonresident senior fellow of the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research (AEI), Mark Jamison, “Such controls have done the opposite throughout history and would this time too.”33
We find ourselves in a situation where asking valid questions about public health measures is equated to acts of domestic terrorism. It’s unbelievable, yet here we are. Over the past two years, the rhetoric used against those who question the sanity of using unscientific pandemic countermeasures, such as face masks and lockdowns, or share data showing that COVID-19 gene therapies are really bad public health policy, has become increasingly violent.
Dr. Peter Hotez, a virologist who for years has been at the forefront of promoting vaccines of all kinds, for example, has publicly called for cyber warfare assaults on American citizens who disagree with official COVID narratives, and this vile rhetoric was published in the prestigious science journal Nature, of all places.34
Doctors and nurses are now facing the untenable position of having to choose between doing right by their patients and toeing the line of totalitarianism. This simply cannot go on. It’s profoundly unhealthy and dangerous in a multitude of ways.
While frustrating and intimidating, we must all be relentless in our pursuit and sharing of the truth, and we must relentlessly demand our elected representatives stand up for freedom of speech and other Constitutional rights, including, and especially, the rights of medical doctors to express their medical opinions.

If you had any doubt that U.S. politics are run by a pay-to-play system, listen to the striking commentary made by Alabama U.S. Rep. Mo Brooks in the video above. The leaked audio is from an event held in March 20221 and explains, in no uncertain terms, that seats on the most powerful committees in Congress must be bought, at a price of $1 million or more.
The money for these seats doesn’t come from average Americans, who typically can’t afford to donate that much. It comes from lobbyists, who offer to pay the price of the seat in exchange for political favors. “Special interest groups run Washington, and I don’t mean that metaphorically,” Brooks said. “I mean literally.”2
Brooks, who is running for Senate, said to event attendees, “I’m sure that you are very much concerned about why our Congress is so unresponsive to the regular needs of American citizens, why some of these policies that come out are so bizarre, so unfair, so skewered against regular Jane and Joe Citizen.”3 The reason is simple, he continued — it’s because of the entrenched corruption. He continued:4
“Now here is how it happens. In the House of Representatives — I use that as an example because that’s where I work — if you want to be chairman of a major committee, you have to purchase it. And the purchase price for a major committee, say like Ways and Means, minimum bid is a million dollars. And I’m talking literally here. I’m not talking metaphorically, OK?”
He then goes on to explain that the committees are actually broken down into categories depending on their different price points:5
“We have committees broken down by A group, B group and C group. C are the cheapest, B are … middling, A is the most expensive. It’s the most expensive because those are the committees that the special interest groups care the most about.”
In the U.S. House of Representatives, committees play an important role. They consider bills and issues as well as oversee agencies, programs, and activities that fall within their jurisdictions.6 The only congresspersons who can afford seats on the most expensive committees, however, are typically those who take lobbyists’ money to do so:7
“So where does a congressman come up with $1 million to be chairman of one of these eight committees? You can’t get it from Joe and Jane Citizen because Joe and Jane Citizen back home, they’re not going to be contributing that kind of money. They don’t have it. They need that money for their own families … And so you have to get it from the special interest groups.”
Money from special interest groups comes with strings attached, and the groups give it out strategically to gain leverage on politicians who will further their own agendas.8 According to Brooks:9
“With the special interest groups, there is a quid pro quo. If you don’t do what they tell you to do, they won’t give you the money that finances your chairmanship. I had one guy who ran for the chairman of the NRCC, which is where the Republicans pay their money for these committee assignments and chairmanships, just as the Democrats pay theirs to the DCCC.
And this guy who wanted to be chair of the NRCC actually had a brochure and that brochure had price listings written on it. And his argument for getting elected was, ‘Elect me. I will charge you less.’”
This arrangement, however, corrupts debate on public policy. “We need to be in a position of power,” Brooks said. “You have to do what the special interest groups require, which undermines the public policy debate.
The money now is a triumph.”10 He then gave the example of Rep. Thomas Massie, who was approached by a lobbyist from the medical device sector who offered to pay $500,000 so Massie could be on the Ways and Means Committee, which oversees tax policy — but only if he would sponsor a patent bill.
The Ways and Means Committee, by the way, is one of the most powerful and sought-after committees. To give you an idea of how coveted a seat on this committee is, Open Secrets explained:11
“When Congress is drafting tax legislation, there is no committee busier and more popular than House Ways and Means. Lobbyists often pay people to stand in the corridors of Congress watching committee members’ every move. Because when it comes to this type of complex legislation, every detail counts for something.
Special interests often use these behemoth bills as vehicles for their legislative wish lists, hoping the sheer size of the proposals will divert attention from their sought-after provisions. Since tax bills affect so many industries' bottom lines, it's little surprise that members should attract generous donations from a variety of sources, including health professionals and insurance companies.”
“Thomas is brilliant. He has patents, he’s an MIT grad,” Brooks said, so Massie agreed to look at the patent, which turned out to be harmful to small inventors. “The people with the power and the money are going to use that power and money to steal the patent rights from the person who actually had the idea, who should be reaping the rewards of that idea,” Brooks said.12
Massie told the lobbyist he wouldn’t sponsor the patent, so the lobbyist took back his offer to pay the $500,000. This story was published by USA Today in 2016, meaning it’s no secret that such exchanges occur. At the time, Massie told USA Today:13
“It was one of the scummiest meetings I’ve ever been in. I left just reeling, thinking about the implications for how this place works, when you realize that the lobbyists pick who goes on which committee.”
There was only one thing that Massie wished he’d said differently to the press, Brooks said. He’d talked about lobbyists buying committee assignments, but really, he told Brooks, “It’s a rental agreement. You have to pay it every two years.”14
What’s clear is that systemic corruption is present, with most politicians not fighting for the public but, rather, looking out for their own self-interest and wealth accumulation. Many political campaigns run on the platform that they’re just like the average American, but personal financial disclosures reveal that more than half of Congress members are millionaires, with a median net worth of just over $1 million.15
Further, the top 10% of the lawmakers in terms of wealth are three times richer than the bottom 90%.16 Many of them become multimillionaires by trading stocks and options. Are their successful trades just luck or do they benefit from their inside knowledge about the corporations they trade — and their power to wield legislation that affects the companies’ futures?
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, for instance, earns $223,500 a year, making her the third-highest-paid elected official in the U.S.17 Yet, since 2004, her wealth has increased from $41 million to nearly $115 million, according to OpenSecrets, which began tracking lawmakers’ personal finances that year.18
In the last two years, nearly 75% of Pelosi’s stock trades have involved Big Tech stocks, totaling over $33 million in trading. “That has happened as major legislation is pending before the House, controlled by the committees Pelosi oversees, which could radically reshape the industry and laws that govern the very companies in which she and her husband most aggressively trade,” Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Glenn Greenwald wrote.19
Greenwald also revealed that Pelosi’s five most-traded stocks in the last two years — Apple, Microsoft, Facebook, Amazon, and Google — were those that stood to be most affected by pending legislation. And, not just any legislation, but legislation that she was working to negotiate and work through Congress.
Another example is Sen. Kelly Loeffler, R-Ga., who has an estimated worth of over $500 million.20 She and her husband, New York Stock Exchange chief executive Jeff Sprecher, came under fire for suspicious stock trades worth between $1.2 million and $3.1 million that occurred immediately after a “closed-door coronavirus briefing in late January” 2020.21 Among them:22
Sen. Richard Burr, chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, who receives frequent briefings about potential U.S. threats, also dumped stock, including in hotel companies, worth up to $1.7 million in late January 2020.23 Sen. Dianne Feinstein from California and Sen. James Inhofe of Oklahoma also sold stock after Intelligence Committee briefings.24
Another issue is the revolving door between politicians, who are supposed to be performing a public service, and the private sector. After their political careers end, many go on to serve as lobbyists or work in the corporate world, which means that during their tenure, they want to keep doors open that may help them once they’re no longer in politics. As noted by Open Secrets:25
“When American voters discard elected officials — and their staffs — lobbying firms and interest groups are quick to snap up the unemployed. Lobbying firms — which often charge steep fees from their deep-pocketed clients — can offer former government employees salaries far greater than those proffered by Uncle Sam, as well as continued influence on Capitol Hill.
In return, firms get lobbyists who already have established connections in the federal government and whose résumés can act as a powerful draw for potential clients.”
In regard to former members of the 115th Congress alone, out of 106 members, 62 found new employment — nearly half of them with lobbying firms:26
“Lawmakers who exited their congressional offices in January 2019 landed in a variety of careers — but as usual, a good share of them spun through the revolving door to lobbying shops. While they technically couldn't lobby their former colleagues immediately (though the same wasn't true of the executive branch), they could keep themselves busy during their cooling-off periods by advising clients and bearing titles like ‘strategic adviser.’"
Regarding the pay-to-play corruption exposed by Brooks and Massie, while the national media are aware of the issue, and both political parties are guilty of engaging in it, no one is bringing it to the forefront as a major public policy issue.27 Yet, the corruption runs so deep that, in the “Breaking Points” video above, it’s pointed out that even Brooks and Massie aren’t immune.
While Brooks has received money from real estate interests and developers, and the military-industrial complex industry, Massie has personally invited lobbyists to fundraising events. “He’s playing the game himself here,” host Krystal Ball says, referring to Brooks. “He’s exposing the game in this regard, but in no way are his hands clean … They love to posture, but then they’re just as guilty of playing the same game as everybody else.”28
