A culture of violence, the foundational text of which commands men to beat women from whom they “fear disobedience” (Qur’an 4:34), is going to give rise to this sort of thing. He may have considered her to have become an unbeliever by disobeying him when Allah had commanded her to obey him. Thus the penalty: “When you meet the unbelievers, strike the necks…” (Qur’an 47:4)

“After separation: Migrant (42) murdered the mother of his six children (31) on the street,” translated from “Nach Trennung: Migrant (42) ermordet Mutter seiner sechs Kinder (31) auf offener Straße,” Exxpress, April 30, 2022 (thanks to Medforth):

A brutal murder of a woman shook Berlin: In the German capital on Friday, in broad daylight and on the open street, a young Afghan mother (31) was attacked with a knife and brutally killed in front of the refugee home where she was apparently staying – by her ex-partner and father of her children (42).

A violent act that is hard to comprehend in terms of its brutality and cold-bloodedness took place in Berlin on Friday: In the morning, a young woman (31) was executed on the street – apparently by her former partner.

The act happened at the intersection of Maximilianstrasse and Mühlenstrasse in Berlin Pankow, near a refugee home in which, according to initial information, at least the woman – who left six children after her violent death – was accommodated. Apparently the perpetrator, a 42-year-old Afghan, ambushed her at the refugee home – he is said to be the woman’s ex-partner and the father of her children. As a police spokesman reported, the crime happened around 10 a.m. The man first rammed a knife into the young mother’s stomach before cutting her throat – in front of the shocked eyes of passers-by. Before anyone could intervene, the man fled – while the woman succumbed to her severe injuries at the scene.

The Berlin police immediately launched a large-scale search, and the perpetrator was arrested just three hours after the crime – he had returned to the scene of the crime. The police are currently examining connections to the refugee home on Pankower Mühlenstraße, since, as mentioned, at least the woman is said to have lived there. Both the perpetrator and the victim come from Afghanistan, as the police of the Berlin “Morgenpost” confirmed.

In the Qur’an, a mysterious figure, known as Khidr in Islamic tradition, kills a boy in an apparently random and gratuitous attack. He then explains: “And as for the boy, his parents were believers, and we feared that he would overburden them by transgression and disbelief. So we intended that their Lord should substitute for them one better than him in purity and nearer to mercy.” (18:80-81)

And according to Islamic law, “retaliation is obligatory against anyone who kills a human being purely intentionally and without right.” However, “not subject to retaliation” is “a father or mother (or their fathers or mothers) for killing their offspring, or offspring’s offspring.” (Reliance of the Traveller o1.1-2).

Muslims commit 91 percent of honor killings worldwide. The Palestinian Authority gives pardons or suspended sentences for honor murders. Iraqi women have asked for tougher sentences for Islamic honor murderers, who get off lightly now. Syria in 2009 scrapped a law limiting the length of sentences for honor killings, but “the new law says a man can still benefit from extenuating circumstances in crimes of passion or honour ‘provided he serves a prison term of no less than two years in the case of killing.’” And in 2003 the Jordanian Parliament voted down on Islamic grounds a provision designed to stiffen penalties for honor killings. Al-Jazeera reported that “Islamists and conservatives said the laws violated religious traditions and would destroy families and values.” In Iran, according to the New York Times, the legal system “treats parents who murder their children with relative leniency, as the maximum sentence for the crime is only ten years.”

“Man (39) must be behind bars for life,” translated from “Mann (39) muss lebenslang hinter Gitter,” Bild, April 29, 2022 (thanks to Medforth):

Lübeck (Schleswig-Holstein) – The daughter (2) slept peacefully as her father Samad Q. (39) caused a bloodbath in the living room and killed her mother (23). Ayoubi Q. suffered deep wounds in her heart and lungs from the 18 cm knife blade. The 23-year-old bled to death in the residential area of the refugee accommodation in Ahrensburg (Stormarn district). 29 stab wounds!

After the bloody act of violence in September 2021, the verdict against the man from Afghanistan was pronounced in the Lübeck district court on Friday. Samad Q. has been behind bars for life for murdering his wife. He did not want to accept his wife’s emancipation efforts and therefore killed her, said the chairman of the jury in the verdict. That was murder for base motives.

With the verdict, the court followed the request of the public prosecutor, who had demanded life imprisonment for the accused. The defendant’s defense attorney, on the other hand, had requested that the 39-year-old be convicted of manslaughter in an emotional state. After the verdict was announced, he said it was not yet clear whether he would seek an appeal.

According to the public prosecutor, the victim wanted to emancipate himself from her conservative husband, which Samad Q. did not accept. In addition, the Afghan is said to have rejected his wife’s western lifestyle.

After the crime, Samad Q. fled the refugee accommodation and was only arrested at a border crossing in Bavaria. He was in a bus bound for Milan (Italy), which was checked at Autohof Münchberg on Autobahn 9 in the Hof district.

Are you starting to notice a pattern?

“Ahlam (27) was murdered in Liège by her brother Gerges who reproached her for her too European lifestyle for her taste: he was arrested in Syria,” translated from “Ahlam (27) a été assassinée à Liège par son frère Gerges qui lui reprochait son style de vie trop européen à son goût: il a été arrêté en Syrie,” by Arnaud Bisschop, SudInfo, April 29, 2022 (thanks to Medforth):

Gerges Younan was arrested in Syria for the murder of his sister, Ahlam (27), committed on January 3, 2021, in Liège. Since the events, the big brother had taken refuge in Syria.

On January 3, 2021, the lifeless body of Ahlam Younan, a 28-year-old young woman of Syrian origin, was found in her apartment on rue de la Cathédrale, in the heart of Liège. The young woman had her hands shackled and she had been shot in the head. The murder weapon had been placed next to his body.

His big sister, worried about not having heard from him since December 31, 2020, had warned the police. In the space of four days, the murderer had had plenty of time to organize his escape.

Very quickly, suspicion fell on the radical branch of Ahlam’s family and more specifically on one of his brothers, Gerges Younan, residing in Sweden. The latter had repeatedly reproached his little sister for her European lifestyle, which was too unbridled for his taste, his associations and his life choices. The “crime of honor” (which is not lighter for the cause) was widely considered by the justice of Liège.
