‘Pope Francis’: A Wolf in Shepherd’s Clothing? Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano sheds a disturbing light on the “Deep Church.”

“A non-Catholic Pope”?  It sounds like a contradiction in terms.  But those are the words used to describe Pope Francis by Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano, the former Apostolic Nuncio to the United States.  In fact, he rarely uses the term “Pope Francis.”  He refers to him instead as “Bergoglio” and to his pontificate as the “Bergoglian papacy.”

Vigano has a following in some Catholic circles but it’s likely that the vast majority of Catholics have never heard of him.  Yet the questions he raises about Pope Francis are of great consequence, not just for Catholics but for non-Catholics as well.

Since there are about 1.3 billion Catholics in the world, whoever leads them can have a significant effect on a large segment of the global population.  It’s widely thought, for instance, that Pope John Paul II did more to put an end to communism in Eastern Europe than any other individual with the exception of Ronald Reagan.  For evidence of the close collaboration between the two men, read historian Paul Kengor’s revealing book, A Pope and a President.

Now we have a new pope and a new president and neither of them seems terribly concerned about the revival of communist power throughout the world.  In fact, both men have surrounded themselves with left-leaning advisors and appointees.

In addition, both Francis and Biden have effectively rolled back the agendas of their immediate predecessors.  This is obvious in the case of Biden because the reversal has been swift and abrupt.  The reversal that Francis has engineered is less noticeable since it has been more gradual, but the resulting change in the Catholic Church has been every bit as radical as the one now taking place in American government and society.

Archbishop Vigano links the two together.  He talks of a coup in America and other Western nations led by secular leftist ideologues, and a coup in the Catholic Church led by Bergoglio and the progressive Catholics who surround him.

However, the coup in the Church has been a more silent one.  Catholic writers who have studied Francis’s career describe him as a skillful--even Machiavellian--manipulator.  According to them, all his actions are shrouded in a deliberate fog.  Consequently, most Catholics remain unaware of the magnitude of the changes.  It is only when a priest or prelate resists Francis that “the dictator pope” (the title of Henry Sire’s book about Francis) reveals himself. Just as the Biden administration is seeking to purge conservatives from government and the military, Francis seeks to purge traditional Catholics from the Church.  And since some of the strongest resistance to Francis comes from adherents of the Latin Mass, he has acted to suppress the Latin Mass.  Meanwhile, some conservative prelates find themselves demoted to obscure outposts, and others live in fear that false charges of sex abuse could land them in jail (as happened to Australian Cardinal George Pell).

Moreover, since Francis has been promoting progressive prelates to high posts for nine years, it looks likely that his “anti-Catholic” (Vigano’s term) brand of Catholicism will continue to dominate.  Because Francis has carefully packed the College of Cardinals (who elect the next pope) with men made in his own image, we shouldn’t be surprised if the next Pope takes the name, Pope Francis II.

You’ve heard of the “deep state;” Vigano maintains that there is also a “deep church”—a network of progressive prelates who, together with Francis, plan to change the face of the Church beyond recognition.  Moreover, the deep state and the deep church reinforce each other:

The deep church and deep state are nothing other than two parallel tracks which run in the same direction and have as their final destination the New World Order, with its religion and its prophet.

Vigano points out that although Francis is “universally considered as the head of the Church,” he is at the same time a “liquidator” of the Church:

His dual role as pope and liquidator of the Catholic Church allows him on the one hand to demolish it with decrees and acts of governance, and on the other hand to use the prestige that his office entails to establish and spread the new religion over the rubble of the old one.

The “new religion” which Francis hopes to usher in is, according to Vigano, a humanist and progressive one— “the religion of Mankind, an ecumenical and ecological one.”  This new religion will also result in “the legitimization of Evil,” and the persecution of good people.”

If all of this—this notion of a non-Catholic pope who seeks to liquidate the Church—seems outlandish and inconceivable, consider that only a short time ago, the notion of a communist-ruled USA also seemed inconceivable.  It seemed inconceivable that Americans would elect as president a man who would immediately set about to demolish American history, values, and institutions.  But that is what seems to be happening.

As far as I know, Vigano has never actually said that Francis is not the pope, but he has implied as much.  The evidence that he and others present can be divided into four categories:

  1. Evidence that Pope Benedict’s resignation was invalid
  2. Evidence that the election of Francis was rigged
  3. Evidence of widespread corruption in the Francis papacy.
  4. Evidence that Francis embraces heresy.

Whether or not Vigano makes the case is a subject for another time.  The point I want to make here is that, despite the gravity of the charges against Francis, the response has been muted.  Neither Francis nor the Vatican has ever responded to Vigano’s explosive “testimony” in 2018 accusing Francis and other prelates of covering up Cardinal Theodore McCarrick’s long history of sex abuse.  Francis said that he would trust the media to come to the proper conclusion, and the media obliged by ignoring Vigano’s charges altogether.

Likewise, the Francis-friendly media has had little to say about Vigano’s claim that Francis is not a legitimate pope.  As a result, the average Catholic is unaware that there is a problem.  Most Catholics would be surprised to learn that although Francis has frequently promised to put an end to clerical sex abuse, he surrounds himself with abusers and enablers and promotes them to high office.  Likewise, most Catholics would be surprised to discover that although Francis verbally condemns abortion, he sees to it that prominent advocates of abortion are invited to Vatican conferences, and he sometimes showers them with praise.

Moreover, although he states that abortion is murder, he intervened to prevent the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) from voting to deny communion to President Biden because of Biden’s flagrant pro-abortion policy. According to Vigano, Francis is a master of duplicity whose modus operandi is to say one thing to please the pew-sitters and to do the opposite in order to please the worldly elites.

It should be noted that Vigano has recently been a bit more in the public eye because of two letters he wrote to Donald Trump, and because of Trump’s positive response to them. As a result, some in the liberal Catholic press have mounted a vigorous campaign to discredit him.  For example, the Jesuit-run magazine America dismisses him as just another right-wing conspiracy theorist who ought to be wearing a MAGA hat instead of a bishop’s cap.

The foundation for the conspiracy-theorist charge is that Vigano says what a growing number of Americans believe about a deep state increasingly controlled by global elites intent on reducing average people to the status of worker bees.  He speaks disparagingly of the New World Order, and the machinations of the Rockefeller Foundation, The World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab, and Bill Gates.  Furthermore, in contrast to Francis, he sees the Covid pandemic as an invented crisis that is intended to create a more docile population.  Finally, Vigano often talks in apocalyptic terms.  He speaks of death and judgment, heaven and hell, Satan’s war against heaven, the Second Coming of Christ, and the “Mark of the Beast.” To the modern ear and to many modern Christians such talk is embarrassing, but through the ages, most Christians have regarded such signs and prophesy not as the ravings of extremists, but as the revealed word of God.

Vigano has a good grip on science, finance, and politics, yet he does sometimes sound more like a 19th-century pope than a 21st-century prelate. This is actually quite refreshing because many modern clergymen have learned to talk in a corporate-therapeutic lingo that is devoid of any depth.  Take this tweet sent out by the USCCB to prepare Catholics for the upcoming “Synod on Synodality:”

Here are seven attitudes we can all adopt as we continue our synodal journey together.  Which one inspires you the most?

  • Innovative Outlook
  • Inclusivity
  • Open-mindedness
  • Listening
  • Accompaniment
  • Co-responsibility
  • Dialogue

“Which one inspires you the most?”  But these psychobabble buzzwords aren’t meant to inspire, they’re meant to put to sleep—to distract people from the crucial issues that face the Church today such as the issue of “a pope who does not behave like a pope and does not speak like a pope.”

Vigano wants to wake up the sheep and so it seems quite fitting that he uses the strong language of the Bible to arouse people from their slumber.  While other bishops babble on about “inclusivity,” “dialogue,” and “open-mindedness,” it’s somehow reassuring that at least one bishop points to the very disturbing signs of the time.

It's easy enough to dismiss Vigano as a paranoid conspiracy theorist, but let’s not forget that the Bible contains many admonitions to be alert to the signs of the time, and many warnings about “spiritual” leaders who are not what they seem. One of the warnings goes like this:

Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. Mt. 7: 15.

Of course, it’s not easy to discern a false prophet when he is dressed in sheep’s clothing.  It would be more difficult still if he were dressed as a shepherd.

See two Fox news articles just posted, January 18, 2022. One Fox news article is titled “Liberal media use Martin Luther King Jr. day to push election Legislation, claim ‘voting rights under assault,’” and the other Fox news article is titled, “Schumer tells Democrats to reluctant to nuke filibuster: ‘We are all going to go on the record.’”

These Deep State Globalists are intent on maintaining a stranglehold on the Nation, insistent on the usurpation of the sovereignty of the citizenry to maintain indefinite and absolute control over the Federal Government, over the Nation’s institutions, and over the Nation’s people.

And this unlawful usurpation of the citizenry’s sovereignty by a rogue, treasonous, tyrannical Federal Government and a duplicitous Congress is too painfully evident to be reasonably denied. To enshrine a successful Counterrevolution in perpetuity, these plotters need to have absolute control over the electoral system. And their blueprint for that was laid out in the takeover of the 2020 General Election, which saw a quiet coup of Government. And these conspirators are hell-bent on keeping the lid on that, censoring, ridiculing, and strong-arming any American who insists on questioning the legitimacy of the election that took place—that resulted in the ousting of Donald Trump, and the seating of the corrupt, senile dimwit and subservient toady of the Neo-Marxists/Neoliberal Globalists, Joe Biden, into the U.S. Presidential suite.

The American people need to remember and constantly remind themselves that, despite the coup d’état of the Federal Government, through the wide-ranging, unlawful scheming and fraud of the 2020 General Election, the American people still wield, by right, ultimate and sole sovereignty over Government. But it is not succored for them, as they can see. They must assert it.

And there must eventually be an accounting, and there will be an accounting, after the 2022 Midterm elections. And the American people are holding fast to and must continue to hold fast to their firearms.

Many other Americans, who, in their dim memory, recall the sacred right of the people to keep and bear arms, are purchasing firearms and ammunition for the first time, recognizing a free Constitutional Republic is rapidly falling from their grasp. And they are prepared to assert their lawful power over the Government.

This absolutely terrifies the ruthless forces—operating silently in the shadows—both here and abroad. For far too long they have exerted inordinate influence and power over their many toadies——

  • In the Federal Government
  • In Many State and Local Governments;
  • In the Public and Private Health Fields;
  • In the Press, in Social Media, and “Big Tech;”
  • In Broadcast and Cable News and Commentary;
  • In Academia and Public Education;
  • In Business, High finance, and the Central (Federal Reserve) Bank;

And with the exceptionally good reason these ruthless, powerful forces are terrified of America’s many armed citizens. But these destructive forces can’t back down now. They can’t ease up on their grand one-world takeover game plan. They have come much too far for that.

Yes, they have been able to prevent the Populist Donald Trump from securing a second term in office, albeit through massive election fraud, chicanery, and illegal electoral engineering. And they have unlawfully silenced dissent. And they have unlawfully denied to tens of thousands of American citizens, operation of the citizens’ sacred Constitutional Rights through blatant and glaring, disregard of and outright violations of the First, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Eighth Amendments to the U.S. Constitution. They have pushed the American people against a wall.

And so, the forces that dare to crush our Nation and its people into submission must see their game through to the end: it is all, or nothing at all—both for them and for us.

How do we know this? The absurdist, farcical play the Marxists and Neoliberal Globalists puppet-masters have staged to date demonstrates how frantic they are to control the actions and thoughts of the American people.

These destructive agencies must proceed forthwith with their agenda, that they may undertake the grand finale: their dangerous endgame. They must and will, at some point, attempt to confiscate the firearms of the American people en masse.

Biden’s handlers are withholding a ‘secret agreement’ with Iran from Congress

“Biden Admin Withholds Secret Iran Agreement From Congress,” by Adam Kredo, Washington Free Beacon, January 23, 2022:

The Biden administration is withholding a “secret agreement” with Iran from Congress as negotiations over a revamped nuclear deal continue in Vienna, according to two Republican lawmakers.

Reports emerged late Friday that Russia proposed an interim nuclear deal to Iran with the knowledge of U.S. officials. The deal would reportedly lift some sanctions on Iran in exchange for a limited set of restrictions on the country’s nuclear program. Russia offered the deal to Iran on the sidelines of ongoing negotiations in Vienna, according to NBC News, which first reported on the document. Tehran is said to have rejected the interim deal, saying that it prefers a large-scale agreement that will provide it with billions in cash windfalls. Republican lawmakers say details of the agreement are being kept from Congress.

“Russia sent a secret agreement to Iran,” Rep. Michael McCaul (R., Texas), lead Republican on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, told the Washington Free Beacon on Friday during a press call. “Russia is trying to take the lead now in the negotiations with Iran. This is a secret agreement. We haven’t seen it.”

The existence of this document indicates that the United States and international partners are eyeing an alternative interim agreement with Iran as efforts to ink a revamped version of the 2015 accord stall due to Iran’s increasingly hardline stance. Republicans in Congress say that, during the past year, the Biden administration has ignored requests for briefings on the status of talks and what a new deal will look like. The Free Beacon first reported last week that the Biden administration is obstructing more than a dozen congressional investigations into the negotiations and sanctions relief.

The Biden administration is required to present any new deal to Congress before it is signed due to a 2015 law, the Iran Nuclear Deal Review Act, that was passed after the Obama administration skirted congressional oversight to sign the original accord.

“Reports that the Biden administration is working with the Russians on a secret nuclear agreement with Iran are doubly concerning,” Rep. Mike Gallagher (R., Wis.), a member of the House Armed Services Committee, told the Free Beacon. “First, they create a conflict of interest with Russia as we are trying to prevent an invasion of Ukraine. Second, preemptive sanctions relief, and failure to transmit an interim agreement to Congress, would violate the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act. The administration needs to end their simultaneous surrender to Russia and Iran before it’s too late.”…

If a new deal with the United States is reached, Iran will see all economic sanctions imposed on it by the Trump administration removed. This includes sanctions on Iran’s oil sector, a key source of cash for the regime.

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem Announces Heartbeat Law, Keeping Promise to Strengthen State’s Pro-life Laws

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) on Friday announced two new bills to keep her promise to ensure that her state has the “strongest pro-life laws in the books.”

Timed to coincide with the March for Life in Washington, D.C., the first bill unveiled by the Republican governor would codify her executive order from last September restricting access to chemically induced abortions. Her order prohibited abortion pills (mifepristone and misoprostol) from being delivered via courier, telemedicine, or mail service and banned abortifacients from being dispensed or provided in schools or on state grounds. The governor’s office described “chemical abortions” as “a dangerous procedure that are four times more likely to cause the woman getting the abortion to end up in the emergency room.” Noem’s bill would make her executive order state law.

The second bill is a fetal heartbeat bill modeled after Texas’ Heartbeat Act, which prevents a woman from seeking an abortion after her unborn baby develops a heartbeat, usually sometime around six weeks.

“Every human life is unique and beautiful from the moment it is conceived. Every life is worthy of our protection, worthy of the right to live,” Noem said in a statement. “We hope that this year’s March for Life will be the last and that the Supreme Court will finally protect every unborn life. But until that comes to pass, these bills will ensure that both unborn children and their mothers are protected in South Dakota.”

Last year, Noem ordered the unborn child advocate in her office to examine South Dakota’s laws and make recommendations to strengthen them to protect unborn life.

Her action came after the Supreme Court rejected an emergency request to block the Texas Heartbeat Act from taking effect. Last week, the court rejected another legal challenge to the Texas law, sending the case to the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, where it is expected to fail.

The draft South Dakota bill, “Prohibiting Abortion After Detection of Fetal Heartbeat,” is very similar to the Texas legislation. It would prohibit abortions after a fetal heartbeat is detected, except in cases where a physician believes that a medical emergency necessitates an abortion, an emergency would “prevent compliance” with parts of the law, or if an abortion is performed by someone “carrying out duties under federal law.”

The law uses the same innovative enforcement mechanism as the Texas law that’s been harshly criticized by pro-choice advocates: A physician, the woman seeking an abortion, or anyone involved who “aids or abets the performance or inducement of an abortion” can be targeted by a private civil action brought by any person “other than the state.”

An abortionist could face up to $10,000 in statutory damages for each abortion performed and additional damages for “emotional distress,” costs for legal counsel, and “injunctive relief” “sufficient to prevent the defendant from violating” the law again.

This unique and controversial provision of the law was designed to shield it from review by federal courts. The law’s critics claim that if this scheme were widely adopted for all sorts of laws — say gun control laws — constitutional protections for certain rights would be rendered meaningless.

In a Supreme Court decision permitting a lawsuit against the Texas law to proceed, Chief Justice John Roberts said, “Texas has employed an array of stratagems designed to shield its unconstitutional law from judicial review.”

Roberts condemned state lawmakers for attempting to “nullify this Court’s rulings,” declaring that “it is the role of the Supreme Court in our constitutional system that is at stake” in that case. His writing was interpreted to suggest that he may ultimately side with the court’s liberal justices in abortion cases, voting to uphold the long-standing Roe v. Wade decision that established a constitutional right for women to kill their unborn children. 

Later this year, the Supreme Court will rule on a Mississippi law that bans most abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy in a case that could potentially overturn Roe.

In remarks published Friday, Noem said that the total number of abortions in South Dakota has decreased “more than 80% over the last decade.” The governor thanked state legislators in both parties for supporting her bill to ban abortions of babies diagnosed with Down syndrome, as well as numerous other pro-life efforts.

Some of the nation’s top non-establishment doctors and scientists spoke at the “Defeat the Mandates – An American Homecoming” rally in Washington, D.C., Sunday. They present a united front in opposition to COVID vaccine mandates, vaccine passports, vaccination of children, and medical censorship. These experts told The New American that the United States medical authorities charged with managing the COVID-19 pandemic are on an ineffective and dangerous path that is needlessly taking hundreds of thousands of American lives.

Drs. Pierre Kory and Paul Marik, practicing physicians and COVID early treatment pioneers from the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance, joined Drs. Peter McCullough, Ryan Cole, Paul Alexander, Richard Urso, and others to warn Americans against living in fear of the 100-percent curable disease and offer them hope. While describing the safety and efficacy of the cheap and widely available early treatments and prophylactics, the doctors cautioned against using the experimental vaccines and boosters that are covered by liability protection laws and shoddily tested.

According to the physicians:

1. Don’t be afraid of COVID.

Political establishment and health authorities try to portray COVID as a deadly disease. This is how they generate fear, discourage critical thinking, and promote obedience, which leads to acceptance of authoritarian measures that the government employs in the name of “safety” and “the common good.”

From a medical perspective, even without treatments, COVID poses little to no threat to people unless their health is already fragile.

2. The most effective protection against COVID is your own immune system.

“The best doctor is the one inside of you,” said Dr. Marik. He advises people who want to protect themselves from COVID — or any other infectious disease, for that matter — to stay healthy. There are some basic recommendations that people can follow to boost that inner doctor: maintain a healthy weight, eat healthily and avoid sugar and processed foods, exercise regularly, drink plenty of water, get plenty of sleep, and spend time outdoors, since that is one of the best ways to manage stress. Also, getting plenty of sunlight (when possible) helps maintain a healthy vitamin D level, which increases protection from COVID.

3. Practice easy prophylaxis and basic hygiene.

The most practical way of preventing the virus from getting into your system is by practicing basic hygiene: washing your hands, using saline nasal spray, and gargling with mouthwash after being around many people.  Some mouthwashes, for example, may reduce the viral load, prevent viruses from replicating, and even kill the virus in saliva.

4. Early treatments work.

COVID is safely and effectively treated with repurposed drugs. One of them is hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), a 65-year-old formula that is considered by the World Health Organization to be an “essential medicine,” according to the WHO Model List of Essential Medicines. That means that the formula is “the most efficacious, safe and cost-effective” needed for a “basic health-care system.” It is so safe that the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says that the medicine can be used by pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, infants, the elderly, and immunocompromised people. Generations around the globe have used it billions of times without restrictions that only unexpectedly and substantially began once the pandemic arrived.

Another effective remedy is ivermectin, which was approved in America in 1996 and is another recognized “essential medicine.” It is highly potent against COVID, and helps eliminate the virus in just 48 hours.

In addition to these two core drugs, the doctors use zinc, vitamins D and C, anticoagulants, and anti-inflammatory remedies. If the protocols that the frontline doctors developed at the onset of the pandemic — and which are now even more advanced — were used, it could have saved up to 95 percent of all COVID victims, said Dr. McCullough.

The doctors maintain that the government intentionally undermines early treatments and censors any medical information on them in order to make acceptance of the vaccines the only alternative.

5. Remdesivir prescribed to COVID patients is harmful.

Remdesivir, a drug promoted by Dr. Anthony Fauci, has no clinical efficacy against COVID. Besides being outrageously expensive — $3,000 per course — it is also deadly poisonous. The patients taking that drug have lethal side effects, including multiple organ failure, acute kidney failure, hypertension, and septic shock, and many die. Prescribing that remedy to patients hospitalized with COVID is “pure evil,” said the doctors.

6. Vaccines are not safe.

COVID vaccines injure and kill people. The doctors said that it was mind-blowing to see recorded in the U.S. Vaccine Adverse Effects Reporting System (VAERS) more than 1 million adverse side effects and nearly 22,000 deaths connected to the use of a single vaccine within such a short period of time.

The vaccines have already been shown to adversely affect our immune systems, which help us to ward off harmful bacteria and viruses and suppress cancerous cells.

In addition to that, vaccines make human cells produce the most toxic part of the virus — spike protein that damages cells around it and causes chronic inflammation. Since that may happen in virtually any organ in the human body, the risks of getting injured far outweigh the benefits of the vaccines for virtually all cohorts.

7. Vaccines are not effective.

COVID vaccines do not prevent people from getting infected with COVID or passing it on to others. On the contrary, since the shots weaken the immune system, the vaccinated are increasing their chances of catching COVID.

The Omicron variant demonstrates the medical nonsense of the vaccine mandates since the existing shots were designed against the original strain. That explains the large number of breakthrough infections.

Since the SARS-CoV-2 that causes COVID mutates faster than the vaccine manufacturers can produce strain-specific boosters, it is senseless to try to outpace the virus, especially given that repeated boosting greatly endangers people’s health.

8. Children should not be vaccinated, period.

COVID poses no danger to children. They have a statistically zero chance of dying from that disease. The COVID shots, however, are already linked to innumerable adverse reactions, and their long-term side effects are unstudied.

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., a lawyer, pointed to the “National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act” (NCVIA), a federal law passed in 1986 that shields vaccine manufacturers from any liability when it comes to vaccinating children, even if the shots are fully approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Adults can sue vaccine makers if they are injured by fully approved vaccines, but Pfizer’s Comirnaty shot that was approved by the FDA back in August is not available in the United States.

At the rally, the physicians clearly showed that COVID can be prevented and treated and that the push to put a needle filled with experimental vaccine in every arm is not only reckless but outright criminal. Americans should reject unsubstantiated measures such as lockdowns, masking, social distancing, and experimental vaccines, and above all, should stop living in fear.
