Taiwan Reports 27 Chinese Air Force Planes in Air Defense Zone

Taiwan scrambles jets to warn away Chinese warplanes as Xi meets top generals

Taiwan has scrambled jets yet again to warn away China's air force. On Sunday, Taiwan's Defense Ministry said 27 Chinese aircraft entered its air defense zone (this is not territorial air space but a broader area that Taiwan monitors) including five nuclear-capable H-6 bombers and a new Y-20 refueling aircraft. The incident took place as Chinese President Xi Jinping was meeting with his top military generals in Beijing. State-run news agency Xinhua quoted Xi as saying: "It is necessary to make great efforts to strengthen scientific and technological literacy and improve the actual ability to win modern wars." CNN's Kristie Lu Stout reports.

27 Chinese aircrafts entered Taiwan’s air defense buffer zone Sunday, according to Taiwan’s Defense Ministry. Taiwan says they’ve identified the aircraft to include 18 fighter jets—5 H6 Bombers and one aerial refueling plane. This, as Chinese president Xi Jinping, met with top brass at a military conference and called for ‘talent cultivation’ among the military’s ranks. Former Pentagon official Michael Maloof joins In Question to discuss.

Taiwan's air force scrambled again on Sunday to warn away 27 Chinese aircraft that entered its air defense zone, Taiwan's defense ministry said, the latest increase in tensions across the sensitive Taiwan Strait.

Chinese-claimed Taiwan has complained for a year or more of repeated missions by China's air force near the democratically governed island, often in the southwestern part of its air defense identification zone, or ADIZ, close to the Taiwan-controlled Pratas Islands.

Over a four-day period beginning on Oct. 1, when China marked its national day, Taiwan said that nearly 150 PLA military aircraft entered its ADIZ, not territorial air space but a broader area Taiwan monitors and patrols that acts to give it more time to respond to any threats.

The latest Chinese mission included 18 fighters jets plus five nuclear-capable H-6 bombers, as well as, unusually, a Y-20 aerial refueling aircraft, the Taiwan ministry said.

The bombers and six of the fighters flew to the south of Taiwan into the Bashi Channel which separates the island from the Philippines, then out into the Pacific before heading back to China, according to a map the ministry provided.

Those aircraft were accompanied by the refueling aircraft, suggesting China refueled the shorter-ranged fighters inflight, a skill that the country's air force is still working to hone to enable it to project power further from China's shores.

Taiwan sent combat aircraft to warn away the Chinese aircraft, while missile systems were deployed to monitor them, the ministry said.

There was no immediate comment from China, which has in the past said such moves were drills aimed at protecting the country's sovereignty.

(Natural News) Australian authorities have been rounding up terrified indigenous people who tested positive for COVID-19 in the Northern Territory and bringing them to a quarantine camp in Howard Springs in what many are viewing as an extreme overreaction to a small outbreak of the virus in the Aboriginal community of Binjari.

The community, which is situated 16 kilometers southwest of Katherine, is made up of more than 200 people, many of whom live in very close quarters. The government has been controversially testing wastewater there to detect traces of the virus; positive results led to the mobilization of a response team to conduct door-to-door testing and offer people vaccines. They are now reporting they have reached a 100 percent first-dose vaccination rate there, although many are questioning how much of a choice people were given.

Criticism has been flooding in from around the world of the government’s tactic of carting people off to quarantine centers via military trucks. Police Commissioner Jamie Chalker explained that it was a question of practicality, saying: “Wherever we’ve got [residences with] overcrowding, or where it’s just simply not a case where an individual can have access to their own ablutions for example … it does create a limited pool for those to be able to quarantine without going to [Howard Springs].”

He added that they plan to continue with this model.

On November 20, hard lockdowns were instituted for those remaining in the area as Chief Minister Michael Gunner said that residents of both Binjari and Rockhole are no longer allowed to leave their homes for the five reasons other Australians may leave for: going to work or school, exercising, caregiving, buying food or supplies, or getting vaccinated. Now, the only reason they are allowed to leave is for medical treatment.

Around 350 residents are currently under orders not to leave their homes. They are also contending with excessively high temperatures, and some are without power. Chalker said that several people had been slapped with fines of more than AU$5,000 (roughly US$3,600) after getting caught sneaking out of their homes during the night.

There are questions surrounding whether those brought to quarantine camps went willingly. The leader of the Binjari Community Aboriginal Corporation, Deb Aloisi, said that people there were “frightened” by the government’s response.

“They get scared because the Territory health vehicle comes in and the guys are all gowned up and masked up … and a big shield on their face.”

Border rule changes in the Northern Territory

The Northern Territory has instituted dramatic border rule changes that see unvaccinated travelers being banned from entering the region, except for essential personnel and people who live in the territory who are returning from jurisdictions where the virus is not currently present.

People who are arriving from red zones where the virus is present must be fully vaccinated and will be required to quarantine at home for one week. They must take a rapid antigen test when they arrive and return a negative PCR within 72 hours. They must also get tested 5, 8, and 14 days after they have left quarantine and remain in a high vaccination zone away from remote communities and aged care facilities.

Last weekend, thousands of people protested across Australia against the country’s extreme vaccine mandates and other measures. So far, 85 percent of the population has been vaccinated, and the federal and state governments’ emergency restrictions and lockdowns are among the strictest in the world.

"According to Mills, Australian military soldiers are physically holding down aboriginals and injecting them with both mRNA (Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna) and viral vector DNA (Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca) injections against their will. This is reportedly happening in Binjari, located in Australia’s Northern Territory.

In the video, Mills publicly gave out her phone number for viewers to call her and help come up with a plan to put a stop to this."

Pentagon threatens to “decertify” the Oklahoma National Guard if commander doesn’t reverse his ban on COVID vaccine mandate

(Natural News) The Defense Department is apparently threatening to sort of ‘decertify’ the Oklahoma National Guard after its commander, on approval of the state commander-in-chief, Gov. Kenny Stitt, issued an order instructing his troops they will not be required to comply with Joe Biden’s unconstitutional COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

The Oklahoman on Nov. 12 provided some background on the situation:

In one of his first acts as the head of the Oklahoma National Guard, new Adjutant General Thomas Mancino updated the guard’s COVID-19 vaccine policy.

In a memo issued Thursday, Mancino ordered that no members of the Oklahoma National Guard be required to take a COVID-19 vaccine.

The memo obtained by The Oklahoman also notes “no negative administrative or legal action will be taken” against guard members who refuse the COVID-19 vaccine.

The memo came just one day after Gov. Kevin Stitt appointed Mancino to replace former Adjutant General Michael Thompson, who had served in that role since 2017.

“The clarified policy on COVID vaccinations for Oklahoma Army and Air National Guardsmen reflects the governor’s ability to assert his command authority over the men and women of the Oklahoma National Guard while they are within the state’s borders,” Lt. Col. Geoff Legler, a spokesman for the Oklahoma Guard, told the paper.

“At a time when our adversaries continue to increase their quantitative and qualitative advantage against our forces, we should seek to ensure that no policy, even unintentionally, hinders military readiness,” Oklahoma Sen. Jim Inhofe, the top Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee, wrote to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin. He added that the mandate should be immediately revoked so as to not cause “irrevocable damage to our national security.”

Of course, the regime doesn’t like to be told ‘no,’ so the Pentagon has dug in its heels, under the guise of the mindless commander-in-chief in the Oval Office, Joe Biden.

“It is a lawful order for National Guardsmen to receive the Covid vaccine. It is a lawful order,” Defense Department press secretary John Kirby stated, according to Politico.

“Refusing to do that, absent an approved exemption, puts them in the same potential [for disciplinary action] as active-duty members who refuse the vaccine,” Kirby added.

He noted further that “the secretary of Defense has the authority to require these vaccines for all members of the force, including the National Guard … even in a Title 32 status. Because when they’re called up for their monthly training, they’re still federally funded.”

The mood in Oklahoma may be catching, according to the Washington Post:

The extraordinary move by Stitt has prompted interest among multiple governors and National Guard commanders to explore similar policies in their states, Oklahoma officials said, while leaving the Biden administration with little recourse but to hold individual service members accountable for refusing lawful orders that their immediate chain of command has disavowed.

Mancino defended his order, however.

“I did not initiate a civilian-military crisis just because I thought it was cool, right?” Mancino told several members of the Oklahoma National Guard in Oklahoma City, noting that by state law and military law he is bound to obey the order of the governor.

Now, however, the Pentagon may be realizing it is running out of options to actually force the members of the Oklahoma Guard to comply, according to a social media post this week.

“BREAKING: Defense official reportedly says, if the Oklahoma National Guard doesn’t comply with COVID vaccine requirements, they will no longer be ‘maintaining national recognition,’ thus, the state will no longer have a Nat Guard, but rather a militia – VOA’s Pentagon correspondent,” the post from Insider Paper, which is a blue-check verified account, noted.

In other words, the Oklahoma National Guard will revert back to the status it and the other state Guard units held for decades until they became sort of, kind of, federalized last century.

To which the state should respond, “So what?”
