CAIR’s Islamist 9/11 Opportunism

As we commemorate the 20^th anniversary of the horrific 9/11 attacks, the pain endures for the survivors and for the family members of the nearly 3,000 people who perished that day. New York lost hundreds of first responders at the World Trade Center, and 2,500 U.S. soldiers made the ultimate sacrifice in Afghanistan. We should be honoring and commemorating all of them on Saturday.

But instead of focusing on the victims, or ensuring that we never forget the Islamist terrorists who carried out this attack, the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) has been assiduously trying to frame the focus on Muslims being the victims.

CAIR has issued guidelines to the media and to school teachers on what to focus on this 20^th anniversary. In one set of guidelines, called "Tips for Teaching Lesson Plans on September 11, 2001," nearly every "tip" ensures that students focus only on "Islamophobia" as the core lesson of 9/11. CAIR warns against using what it labels "inaccurate and inflammatory terms such as 'Islamic terrorists,' 'jihadists,' or 'radical Islamic terrorists'– which would be like warning against the use of the term "Nazis" after World War II as "inflammatory." Is CAIR against the use of the term "white supremacy"? Of course not. But if you cannot name your enemy, then it can't be your enemy. So what better way exists to intimidate educators or analysts by claiming they are "Islamophobic" or "promoting bullying" of Muslim students if they utter the terms "Islamic terrorist" and "jihadist," or if they focus on them as the perpetrators of the 9-11 attacks and so many other terrorist attacks.

CAIR's admonition against the use of the term "Islamic terrorists" also stems from CAIR's unstated ugly self-interest to sanitize the image of radical Islamist front groups, like CAIR itself, a Hamas front group which has in fact spouted reckless, unfounded and pro-Islamist conspiracy theories, not only about the 9-11 attacks but also about nearly all of the dozens and dozens of convictions of Islamic terrorists since the 9-11 attacks. And in this regard, CAIR's willing collaborators have included many in the mainstream media—from PBS to the Washington Post to the New York Times—which have dutifully carried out CAIR's dirty work in falsely claiming illegal convictions of some Islamic terrorists, despite the cases having been upheld on appeal, many all the way to the Supreme Court.

This strategy comes straight out of the Islamist playbook. From Hassan al Banna to Osama bin Laden to the current leaders of Iran, Hamas, Hizballah, and now the Taliban have asserted they are the true victims. The Islamists have claimed their terrorist attacks are only responses to Western, Christian, and Jewish aggression. And their front groups here in the West, like CAIR, have echoed the Islamist inversion of reality by sanitizing our lexicon while claiming the same victimhood mentality and spinning conspiracy tales that have seeped into the American elite's bloodstream.

And in CAIR's tips for educators is another recommendation to "include information about the Muslim responses to the 9/11 attacks, such as the widespread condemnations of the attacks by American Muslim leaders." CAIR constantly claims it has condemned the 9-11 attacks, yet in the days and years following the 9/11 attacks, top CAIR officials maintained that Osama bin Laden and Islamist terrorists did NOT carry out the attacks. Rather, they promoted outrageous conspiracy theories which – of course – included accusing Israel.

It was 48 hours after the 9/11 attacks when American government officials began briefing the media and the public that the hijackers were Islamist terrorists belonging to bin Laden's al-Qaida terrorist group. By September 13, the New York Times was already reporting on some of the dead Muslim hijackers linked to Osama bin Laden including Mohammed Atta.

Yet on Sept. 14, 2001, CAIR's New York chapter issued a statement, "Muslims Condemn Attacks Against Civilians: Forbidden in Islam." But it would not acknowledge, let alone condemn, the perpetrators. Rather it cast doubt on all the reports that bin Laden's terrorists were responsible.

"If such attacks were carried out by a Muslim – as some biased groups claim – then we, in the name of our religion, deny the act and incriminate the perpetrator." And for good measure, the statement included a typical blood libel against Israel, referring to the "tyrannical Jewish entity who raze the Palestinian homes to the ground, set fire to their tilt, kill them in cold blood, and leave innocent orphans wailing behind."

On Oct. 5, 2001, three weeks after the 9/11 attacks when it was unambiguously known and clear to the world that bin Laden had carried out the attacks, CAIR-NY distributed a petition/letter to the New York Times entitled, "True Muslims Cannot Commit Suicide Nor Kill Innocent Civilians That Is Why Recognized Muslims Are Not Part Of The WTC Tragic Attack."

CAIR was protesting a Sept. 23 Times story about the 19 dead Muslim hijackers. Its letter claimed that "[t]wo of the 19 suspects: Abdulaziz Alomari and Saeed Alghamdi could not have been on the hijacked planes because they are still alive and are working in Saudi Arabia." This was an early and quickly refuted conspiracy theory, but CAIR officials jumped on it.

They also echoed claims that the ringleader, Mohammed Atta, was still alive. CAIR ended its letter with conspiratorial questions that alleged – and this is really an insult to the victims as well as to the American people – that unknown people were "impersonating" the terrorists.

"If three of the 19 suspected "hijackers" are still alive, who were the other 16?" CAIR wrote. "The important questions are: Who is impersonating these three Muslim Arabs? Why are Muslim Arabs been implicated in this terrorism? And, who could 'benefit' from this horrific tragedy?"

That was CAIR, the self-anointed "Muslim civil rights" group, which in fact would later be designated an un-indicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation's Hamas money-laundering prosecution.

CAIR was created in 1994 by Awad and Omar Ahmad, who were listed as members of the Muslim Brotherhood's "Palestine Committee." Internal records seized by the FBI show that the Muslim Brotherhood established the committee to support Hamas "with what it needs of media, money, men and all of that." Other internal documents placed CAIR among the Palestine Committee's branches.

In 2001, CAIR's campaign to convince people that, despite the evidence, Islamists were not to blame for 9/11, continued.

At an Oct. 7, 2001 fundraising event in Virginia, guest speaker Ghazi Khankan, then the head of CAIR's New York chapter, repeated the totally discredited conspiracy theory about the hijackers being impersonators in language that echoed the Times letter:

"Why is it assumed that Muslims were behind the attack on Sept. 11? We know for sure at least three – Alghamdi, Alomari and Atta – whose name appear as part of the 19 hijackers ... are still alive in the Middle East," Khankan said. "The question is, who is impersonating these Muslim names? Who benefits from assuming that Muslims are behind this tragedy, and who benefits from this tragedy? I think the media should seriously go and investigate these three and find out if they are really the three hijackers, or someone else is impersonating them."

CAIR's spin continued even after bin Laden was seen in December 2001 on video released by the Pentagon. Bin Laden, an engineer, said even he was surprised to see the Twin Towers fall. "Due to my experience in this field," he said, "I was thinking that the fire from the gas in the plane would melt the iron structure of the building and collapse the area where the plane hit and all the floors above it only. This is all that we had hoped for."

But seven months later, Awad gave an interview on July 1, 2002, to El Osboa, an Egyptian newspaper, in which he was asked if the Mossad was responsible for 9/11. Read the exchange, especially Awad's last response, which was translated from Arabic multiple times:

Q: "It is not ruled out that Mossad orchestrated the Sept. 11^th events?

A: (Awad) It is not my specialty or job to speculate.

Q: My belief [that Israel is responsible for 9/11] is based on the fact that the beneficiary is the one that could be behind this operation, Israel, of course, benefited greatly from the events of September 11, as evidenced by its widespread exploitation.

A: (Awad): There are theories leading in this direction. During my meeting with President Bush, and my conversation with him after the September events last year, I told him that there are sayings in the region that think what happened cannot be done by Muslims or by Arabs due to the sophistication and intensity of planning and professionalism of execution...."

So instead of stating that bin Laden was responsible, Awad let stand the anti-Semitic conspiracy that Israel was. Awad also seems to make a racist comment about Arabs and Muslims that should not go unnoticed. "Muslims or Arabs" could not have carried out the attack, he said, "due to the sophistication and intensity of planning and professionalism of execution..."

More than a year later after this interview, on Sept. 7, 2003, Awad appeared at a CAIR fundraiser in New York that featured the former British journalist, Yvonne Ridley, who had been kidnapped by the Taliban and before being released, had converted to Islam.

Ridley quoted a recent conspiracy article in the left-wing Guardian that argued President Bush deliberately allowed the 9/11 attacks to occur.

The author "believe[d] it was the U.S. desire for full-spectrum dominance that was built around securing by force a command over the oil supplies."

Ridley also claimed, "that at least 11 countries gave the U.S. advance warning that something big and awful was going to happen."

Awad, the head of CAIR, spoke after Ridley. Instead of disavowing her dangerous nonsense, he tacitly endorsed her entire conspiracy: "Also, having listened to Sister Yvonne, there are many theories of course about 9/11. And there are many unanswered questions, and we always ask for answers, but also CAIR's position on the issue is it happened here in America, Muslims have condemned it without reservation..."

There were no serious unanswered questions in 2003 about who was responsible for the attack unless you were as consumed with radical Islamist conspiracies as Ridley or Ghazi Khankan.

But this kind of deflection was nothing new for Awad. He was a contributing editor for the Muslim World Monitor in 1993 when the World Trade Center was bombed for the first time. The Monitor was the English publication of the Islamic Association for Palestine, the Palestine Committee's propaganda arm.

In the June 4, 1993 edition, the main editorial questioned the arrests of those connected to the February 1993 WTC bombing. It claimed the bombing was not carried out by Islamist terrorists, and that it suspected that "the Mossad played a role in the blast."

After the suspects were convicted, the March 31, 1994 edition of the Monitor, with Awad still listed on the masthead as "contributing editor," called the verdicts a "travesty of justice.... [that] represents the degree to which anti-Muslim venom has penetrated society."

It claimed that both "the Mossad and Egyptian intelligence played a role in the explosion."

With that background, CAIR's legacy of embracing 9/11 conspiracies seems consistent.

Four years after the 9/11 attacks, CAIR officials were still promoting unfounded conspiracies. At an Aug. 18, 2005 event, CAIR's San Diego chapter hosted a local attorney named Randall Hamud. In the question and answer session that followed his comments, Hamud was asked about "enemies of Islam" fabricating the evidence of the 9/11 terrorists.

Q: "One strategy that enemies of Islam are successful at and that's putting Muslims on the defensive. There's still no evidence that Muslims carried out 9/11."

A: (Hamud): "Well, there is that point of view. I understand what you're saying. A lot of people don't think there were any Muslims involved in it at all. And maybe 100 years from now, we'll find that out."

In further responses, Hamud let loose with more conspiratorial accusations.

"Maybe it was a plot against Islam. Who knows? Who knows? You actually had plenty of notice that this was going to be a problem and they did nothing about it until tragically when all those people had to die in 9/11. And we've all been paying a price since then ... It was a preventable moment in the sense that apparently they think Muslims did it. Apparently, they're blaming Islam for it..."

CAIR has never renounced or apologized to the families of those killed for its promotion of outrageous 9-11 conspiracies that were designed to make the US or Israel responsible for the deaths of 3000 Americans on September 11, 2001, rather than the Islamic terrorists who carried out this mass murder. With the mainstream media willing to give CAIR not only a free pass on this claim but also willing to endorse CAIR's inverted reality of victimhood, it's no wonder CAIR has gotten away, figuratively, with murder.

But in a larger sense, CAIR's actions are emblematic of the much larger problem affecting today's elite educational unions, media, publishing industry, academia, Hollywood, and political elites which have, in the span of 20 years, embraced the Islamist inversion of reality. But the vast majority of Americans, including American Muslims, will never forget who the real victims were and who their murderers were as well.

On Friday, September 10, 2021, the Philadelphia chapter of the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is presenting a panel discussion entitled “Remember Pearl Harbor to Never Forget 9/11: Teaching Japanese American and Muslim American Histories.” There in a nutshell is much of what has gone wrong in our nation’s response to the 9/11 jihad attacks, and why we are so drastically on the wrong path now.

The CAIR panel is as noteworthy for what it is not about than for what it is about. It is not about the victims of 9/11, the lives lost, the lives destroyed, the magnitude of human suffering that was inflicted. It is most certainly not about the ongoing global jihad: a useful panel could be held on groups that still exist around the world that hold to the same belief system, ideology and goals that the 9/11 plotters and hijackers held, and which are an ongoing threat to Americans and to all free people. Hamas-linked CAIR is never going to hold such a panel, and neither is anyone else.

Instead, CAIR, predictably enough, focuses on the people who hold the same beliefs as the jihad attackers of 9/11 and have, CAIR claims, been victimized and discriminated against in the United States as a result. Statistically speaking, such claims are wildly exaggerated. FBI hate crime statistics show that anti-Semitic hate crimes are far more common than attacks on Muslims, which actually dropped 42% in the last year. No hate crime is justified, but the idea that Muslims are living in fear of MAGA-hat-wearing redneck vigilantes in America is Leftist fantasy.

Nonetheless, that is not just the focus of this unsavory Hamas-linked group, but of the establishment media as well. The Los Angeles Times on Friday published a lengthy weeper entitled “Muslim youth in America: A generation shadowed by the aftermath of 9/11,” all about how some people say rude things to innocent Muslims just because some people did something way back two decades ago. The article begins: “On a rainy day during her sophomore year of high school, as Aissata Ba studied in the library, a photo popped into her phone. It showed a beheading by Islamic State militants, along with a caption in red letters: ‘Go back to your country.’” In the big bad, “Islamophobic” USA, the perpetrator of this horror got off scot-free: “Ba reported the incident. Administrators never tracked down the person who sent it.”

The Times explained how Muslims are the true victims of the 9/11 attacks: “Asked when they thought such incidents became common, the Ba family didn’t hesitate. ‘It started with 9/11,’ said Ba’s mom, Zeinebou, who immigrated to Chicago in 1999. That day in 2001 caused a chain of tragedies — for the nearly 3,000 people who perished during the attacks in New York, at the Pentagon and in Pennsylvania; for the young men and women who died serving their country in the wars that followed; and for Muslims, and those perceived as Muslim, who became targets of hate.”

It would be much easier to sympathize with all this if not for the fact that since 9/11, CAIR and its allied groups, with eager help from the establishment media, have insisted that any honest investigation of the motivating ideology behind the attacks, and jihad terror in general, constituted “hate.” Then there are the numerous fake anti-Muslim hate crimes, fabricated apparently in order to buttress the claim that Muslims are uniquely harassed and victimized in the United States. The facts don’t bear out this claim.

The LA Times was not alone, of course. The Associated Press came out with its own Muslims-Are-Victims 9/11 story on Tuesday: “Two decades after 9/11, Muslim Americans still fighting bias.” It opened with another unsubstantiated anecdote that, as all such anecdotes do, revealed more than it intended: “A car passed, the driver’s window rolled down and the man spat an epithet at two little girls wearing their hijabs: ‘Terrorist!’ It was 2001, mere weeks after the twin towers at the World Trade Center fell, and 10-year-old Shahana Hanif and her younger sister were walking to the local mosque from their Brooklyn home. Unsure, afraid, the girls ran. As the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attacks approaches, Hanif can still recall the shock of the moment, her confusion over how anyone could look at her, a child, and see a threat. ‘It’s not a nice, kind word. It means violence, it means dangerous. It is meant to shock whoever … is on the receiving end of it,’ she says.”

If that really happened, it’s a shame, but the fact that both the LA Times and AP had to lead with stories of people saying rude things to Muslims unwittingly reveals that they didn’t have anything worse to head up their stories: no stories of Muslims being attacked, of mosques being burnt down, of laws targeting Muslims in the United States and denying them basic rights. Nor should there be such stories. But the fact that there aren’t any gives the lie to the entire establishment narrative.

Meanwhile, SiriusXM host and frequent CNN contributor Dean Obeidallah wrote at CNN on Monday: “On September 10, 2001, I went to sleep a White guy. On September 11, I woke up an Arab.” This happened, you see, because after 9/11, people began to regard poor Dean as a member of a group that he says has been “demonized and hated by many of our fellow Americans — simply because we shared the same ethnic background, and in some cases religion, as the 9/11 terrorists.” The irony of his writing this for one of the world’s foremost media outlets, which frequently showcases his work, appears to have been lost on him.

The reality is much different from what these stories suggest. Newsweek recently noted that “as the 20th anniversary of September 11 approaches, the recent rise of many Muslim Americans to positions of power and influence—in Washington and in statehouses, on big screens and small ones, across playing fields and news desks—is a development that few in the U.S. would have predicted two decades ago, Muslims included.”

Meanwhile, opponents of jihad violence and Sharia oppression of women have genuinely experienced the marginalization that Obeidallah claims to have suffered. They have been defamed by the Southern Poverty Law Center, targeted by the social media giants’ Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism, and shunned by the establishment media.

In all this I haven’t even mentioned the misbegotten misadventures in Iraq and Afghanistan, or the U.S. government’s adamantine determination to ignore and deny the ideological wellsprings of the global jihad. But it all works together: the lesson most Americans will be told on Saturday is that twenty years ago, some “extremists,” akin to the January 6 “insurrectionists,” hijacked the peaceful religion of Islam, and since then Muslims have been victimized. The moral of the story? We must end all remaining counterterror measures directed at stopping jihadis. They’re “Islamophobic,” and the real problem is “white supremacists,” anyway. What could possibly go wrong? Go back to sleep.

BIDEN’S White House Withdraws Chipman’s ATF Nomination But Eyes New Position As “Gun Czar”

WASHINGTON, D.C. –-(Ammoland.com)- The White House plans to pull the nomination of David Chipman for the Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

David Chipman was an ATF special agent before leaving the Bureau to work for a private company called Shot Spotter. He served as its Vice President of marketing. Shop Spotter has face criticism from activists for being infective and targeting minority neighborhoods. Several major localities have canceled contracts with the company over these concerns. A Chicago Inspector General report shows the system only to be effective 9% of the time.

After his stint with Shot Spotter, Chipman went on to help Bloomberg start Mayors Against Illegal Guns. The organization morphed into Everytown for Gun Safety. He then went to work for Giffords.org. Giffords is an anti-gun organization founded by Gabby Giffords after being shot in a Safeway parking lot during a campaign stop.

When Biden nominated Chipman, anti-gun groups like the Brady Organization and Everytown celebrated. People in the political world saw the nomination of Mr. Chipman as payback to anti-gun groups that backed Biden and dumped massive amounts of money into the past Presidential election cycle.

Chipman faced harsh criticism from gun rights groups for being an open anti-gun advocate. They also believed that Chipman was nominated for political reasons. Chipman has even suggested in the past that rifles that take detachable magazines should be regulated like machine guns because he believes it speeds up the rate of fire.

The gun world united to stop him from being confirmed. Significant pressure was upon Democratic Senators from conservative areas such as Senator Joe Manchin from West Virginia. Every national gun group launched some sort of campaign to stop Chipman from being confirmed.

At the same time, past racist comments allegedly made by David Chipman surfaced from his time at the ATF. Mr. Chipman made statements accusing black agents of cheating on tests because of their high scores. He insinuated that they couldn’t have scored as high as they did without cheating.

The anti-gun lobby credited the gun-rights movement with killing Mr. Chipman’s nomination. Brady United accused gun organizations of running a “smear campaign.”

Executive Director Igor Volsky of rabid anti-gun group, Guns Down America, accused the Biden Administration of breaking its promises to the anti-gun lobby. Anti-gun zealot Fred Guttenberg also blamed the White House for not getting Chipman confirmed.

But We Are Not Done with Chipman

Even though the Biden Administration is pulling Mr. Chipman’s nomination for head of the ATF, they are still looking for a position for him in occupy. This search for a job leads gun rights advocates to worry that the White House might appoint him to the “Gun Czar.” Biden in the past has considered Beto O’Rourke for the position.

A Czar is a position created within the White House without oversight from Congress. These positions are controversial because there is no oversight from Congress. Many people see these positions as the Executive branch overstepping its boundaries to appoint people to jobs that could never make it through a confirmation hearing.

Gun rights groups are demanding that the White House drop the search for a job for Mr. Chipman. They claim that David Chipman’s inability to make it through a confirmation hearing in Congress should disqualify him for all other positions within the White House, including a “gun czar.”

Gun Owners of America (GOA) Director of Federal Affairs agrees that Chipman is not fit to serve in any position within the federal government dealing with guns. He implores the Biden Administration from trying to find Chipman a job.

“David Chipman’s opposition to the Bill of Rights earned him the opposition of every Republican senator, and unanswered allegations of racism undermined his support among Democratic senators,” Johnston told AmmoLand News.

“Chipman’s disgust for the Second Amendment makes him uniquely unqualified to direct the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives—or any other public office for that matter. The Biden Administration should cease all efforts to ‘find another role” for this anti-constitutional rights activist who failed to earn the support of the United States Senate.”

The battle over David Chipman continues, but gun owners won a hard-fought battle.

HOSPITAL HOMICIDE: American war veteran dies after hospital refuses to administer court-ordered ivermectin treatment

(Natural News) A Vietnam War veteran is dead after a Texas hospital refused, in flagrant defiance of a court order, to give him ivermectin for a Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) infection.

On August 19, Pete Lopez, 74, was put on a ventilator by medical staff at Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital near Houston after testing positive for Chinese Germs. Lopez might have lived had he been given ivermectin in accordance with his wishes but was instead murdered by workers at the hospital who refused.

Because of their Ivermectin Derangement Syndrome (IDS), hospital staff at Memorial Hermann decided that they would basically just pull the plug on Lopez because that is what Tony Fauci and the medical establishment have decided is the only way to “flatten the curve.”

The American Medical Association (AMA) decided that even though ivermectin has been FDA-approved for humans since 1996, it is now just a “horse de-wormer” that should not and cannot be administered to sick and dying people, even if it could save their lives.

Texas medical workers, desperately wanting to be medically “woke,” in turn decided to just go along with the AMA’s advice and deprive Lopez of something that very well could have saved his life.

“[Memorial Hermann] took away from my grandfather and us, his family, the opportunity to know whether or not that drug would have worked for him,” mourned Gabrielle Snider, Lopez’s granddaughter.

Ivermectin Derangement Syndrome is needlessly killing Americans

A similar situation occurred in Ohio after a man named Jeffery Smith was admitted to a local hospital and was refused ivermectin treatment. Smith’s family sued the West Chester Hospital and won, only to have Common Pleas Judge Michael Oster try to overrule the decision.

“Public policy should not and does not support allowing a physician to try ‘any’ type of treatment on human beings,” Oster decreed, falsely suggesting that ivermectin is only for “livestock” and not humans.

It is like banging one’s head against the wall trying to set the record straight that ivermectin is fully FDA-approved for humans. The prevailing narrative right now is that it is a dangerous “horse paste” that is not for human intake, which is patently false.

Whether or not ivermectin works for treating the Fauci Flu in humans is beside the point. The fact of the matter is that it is FDA-approved for humans and just like all other drugs, it can and should be administered for off-label use when a patient or doctor chooses it for such.

Since when did government bureaucrats gain total control over what types of medicines are allowed to be administered to sick and dying patients? Did Judge Oster suddenly become a licensed doctor? If not, why is he now practicing medicine from the bench without a proper license?

The good news in Smith’s case is that he technically won the case and did receive ivermectin, which worked so well that the hospital decided that he can soon be taken off the ventilator and sent home.

“Julie has won this case; I don’t care what this judge says,” said one of the Smith family’s lawyers, Ralph Lorigo. “We are believers he’s going to survive because of ivermectin.”

On Friday, the Texas Medical Board and the Texas State Board of Pharmacy together issued a joint statement supporting the right of all physicians to prescribe drugs like ivermectin for off-label use, which has been common practice for decades.

Both boards clearly indicated that they “do not endorse or prohibit any particular prescribed drugs or treatment for COVID-19 that meet the standard of care.”

(Natural News) The vaccine holocaust is well underway in Australia, where a disturbing new video depicts Australian covid internment camp police threatening to “gas” an occupant (prisoner) who has already spent 14 days in forced quarantine and wants to be released. A snippet of the video is shown in today’s Situation Update podcast (below), around the 10-minute mark.

What the video appears to confirm is that tyrannical Australian authorities are:

1) Not releasing people after they “serve” a 14-day forced quarantine. (You can check in but you never check out.)

2) Threatening to “gas” prisoners if they don’t obey. It’s not clear from the video whether this “gas” involves gassing someone with tear gas or a Zyklon B-like death gas, but in either case, it is a gross violation of fundamental human rights.

Global human rights organizations are mysteriously silent on all this, and in America, the so-called American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has utterly abandoned civil liberties and is now endorsing vaccine and mask mandates for everyone.

The video from Australia reveals the horrifying mental health consequences of being interned in what is essentially a covid death camp, where one of the occupants on this video explains, “you can’t get air” in the enclosed, sealed rooms. His fellow prisoner is screaming, “Take me somewhere where the walls aren’t caving in,” revealing the mental health consequences of involuntary covid confinement under an authoritarian medical police state.

Completely healthy, innocent people are deemed a public health threat merely for “testing positive” via a fraudulent PCR test

What’s even more disturbing with all this is how the tyrannical Australian government determines which people to medically kidnap and throw into these covid death camps. You merely need to test “positive” via a fraudulent PCR test to be flagged and incarcerated, even if you show no symptoms of sickness and are perfectly healthy.

Biden Unveils Authoritarian Vaccine Mandate

Democrats believe that experts whom you have no confidence in should rule you, and that the government is responsible for you from the cradle to the grave. Because of this decidedly paternalistic view, President Joe Biden made good on his promise to unveil a new plan to get COVID-19 under control–a plan that includes a vaccine mandate for companies with more than 100 employees.

He opened his speech today by expressing confidence that we could “turn the tide” on COVID-19. According to CDC data, we already have. Cases and deaths are declining:

Of course, this is a desperate pivot away from the continuing dumpster fire in Afghanistan and bad economic news over the past few weeks. Biden had high approval ratings for his handling of COVID-19 earlier this summer. He hopes to refocus Americans on something they have trusted him on in the past.

When he began speaking, he reinforced the divide between the vaccinated and unvaccinated. “Many of us are frustrated with the nearly 80 million Americans who are still not vaccinated. Even though the vaccine is safe, effective, and free,” Biden said. He doesn’t acknowledge that approximately 140 million have recovered, providing a barrier to infections. He then asserted that Americans are confused about what is true and what is false about COVID-19.

He went on to blame the economic problems on COVID-19. He emphasized that this is a pandemic of the unvaccinated a second time, without acknowledging that countries with much higher vaccination rates, like the UK and Israel, saw the same surge. “A distinct minority of Americans supported by a distinct minority of elected officials are keeping us from turning the corner,” he said. According to Biden, “pandemic politics” are killing people.

Biden’s plan has six elements. The goal is to decrease the number of unvaccinated Americans and reduce the number of hospitalizations and deaths. It is the beginning of an authoritarian push to vaccinate every American against COVID-19, regardless of age, medical history, or recovery from the illness previously.

“First, we must increase vaccinations among the unvaccinated with new vaccination requirements. With nearly 80 million eligible Americans who have not gotten vaccinated, many said they were waiting for approval from the Food and Drug Administration, the FDA.

“Last month, the FDA granted that approval. The time for waiting is over. This summer, we made progress with a combination of vaccine requirements and incentives as well as the FDA approval. Four million more people got their first shot in August than did in July. But we need to do more.

“This is not about freedom or personal choice. It’s about protecting yourself and those around you. The people you work with. The people you care about. The people you love. My job as president is to protect all Americans.”

Biden then announced that the Department of Labor would issue an emergency rule requiring employers with more than 100 employees to mandate vaccines or weekly testing. This order will cover 80 million employees. Employers will be required to pay workers for time to get vaccinated. In an odd assertion, he said this would protect vaccinated employees from unvaccinated coworkers.

Any healthcare facility that receives Medicare or Medicaid funding must also require vaccination. Some estimates report that as many as 40% of healthcare workers are not vaccinated. There is also a skilled nursing shortage. It is unclear how mandates will affect this trend. In Oregon, where cases are rising, 111 nurses are already on administrative leave for remaining unvaccinated.

Using the coercion of government contract requirements, Biden will require private companies that contract with the government to implement a vaccine mandate. Vaccination will also be a requirement for employment in the federal government. There will no longer be an exemption for routine testing. In total, the new plan will affect 100 million workers.

Biden will outline these requirements in executive orders not currently available on the White House website. It is unclear whether the orders will recognize natural immunity or whether there will be any consideration for medical conditions that increase the risk of vaccine side effects. Even former FDA Director Scott Gottlieb, who also sits on Pfizer’s board, has conceded, “The balance of the evidence demonstrates that natural immunity confers a durable protection. We should start assimilating that into our policy discussions.”

Biden encouraged medical providers to reach out to unvaccinated patients and encourage them to get the shot. Then he blamed unvaccinated Americans for the surge in cases again.

“My message to unvaccinated Americans is this. What more is there to wait for? What more do you need to see? We’ve made vaccinations free, safe, and convenient. The vaccine is FDA approved. Over 200 million Americans have gotten at least one shot. We’ve been patient, but our patience is wearing thin. And your refusal has cost all of us.”

He then committed to protect the vaccinated by discussing booster shots. Biden explained that the dosages, timing, and authorization are up to the scientists in the healthcare agencies. He indicated that the science says that in order to have complete protection from COVID-19, a third dose is required. That has not been Israel’s experience. Boosters will be available at pharmacies nationwide for free.

To keep schools open, Biden pressured parents to get children over the age of 12 vaccinated. He told parents the best way to protect their children is to ensure every adult around them is vaccinated. He committed to assisting the FDA to expedite approvals to vaccinate younger children. Biden also advocated masking, social distancing, and improved ventilation.

He announced that all Head Start employees would be required to have vaccines and encouraged all school districts to require teachers and staff to receive vaccines. Biden said his plan would take on governors who stand in the way of mandates: “I will use my powers as president to get them out of the way.” He then committed to pay school officials who break state laws and defy a governor’s orders.

To increase testing, the administration will spend $2 billion to produce 280 million rapid and at-home tests for COVID-19. It will invoke the Defense Production Act to make them. The federal government’s free testing program will expand to 10,000 pharmacies nationwide. Retailers will sell the at-home tests at cost for the next three months. Food banks and other charities will also distribute the tests.

The federal mask mandates persist. Those who fly or take the train and don’t follow the federal mask mandates will see their fines double. Repeat offenders will pay up to $3,000 per incident. A loan of up to $2 million will be available for pandemic losses and hiring staff for small businesses.

The Department of Health and Human Services will increase the average weekly pace of monoclonal antibody shipments. It is the only outpatient treatment currently recommended by the NIH. If the federal government had taken this step weeks ago, it could have saved thousands of lives and prevented hospital overcrowding during the recent surge. Governor Ron DeSantis rolled out a program in early August and provided 3,000-4,000 doses per day, decreasing hospitalizations by 20% in the state.

Governor Ralph Northam called it the latest step in a “healing” process. On Wednesday, a 21-foot bronze statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee was removed from its pedestal in Richmond, Virginia, as crowds sang “Na Na Hey Hey Goodbye.” The statue depicted Lee riding his beloved horse, Traveler.

Symbolizing the Maoist and Taliban-like spirit of erasing history, they even removed the time capsule that had been in the base of the statue for 131 years, replacing it with one more “politically correct.” The new capsule included pictures from a Stop Asian Hate Protest rally and Black Lives Matter sticker.

The Lee statue was erected in 1890 in his honor by the Lee Monument Commission, led by Lee’s nephew, Fitzhugh Lee, who had served as governor of Virginia.

“This was a long time coming,” Governor Northam stated, “part of the healing process so Virginia can move forward and be a welcoming state with inclusiveness and diversity.” He added that the Lee statue represented “400 years of history that we should not be proud of.” One wonders if Northam is proud of his own past, one that includes appearing in blackface in his college yearbook.

In taking the statue down, workers cut Lee in half at the torso. The bifurcated remains will be sent to a women’s prison temporarily until officials decide which organization should take permanent possession of it. Several private citizens and museums have expressed interest in the statue.

Northam’s remarks and the media reports demonstrate either abysmal ignorance of the real Robert E. Lee or a total disregard for the truth. For example, the Daily Mail began its story of the episode by calling Lee “a prominent slaveowner.”

In court, a person is sworn to tell the whole truth because telling just part of the truth can give a false impression. This is certainly the case with Lee.

Without getting into all of the nuances of the onset of the Civil War, seven Confederate states seceded in late 1860 and early 1861, leaving a majority of the states where slavery was still legal still in the Union. One would think if the war was fought to simply abolish slavery, then all 15 states that had laws supporting the legality of slavery would have also seceded — and would have been invaded, whether they seceded or not.

The secession of seven southern states did not automatically mean there would be a civil war — over slavery, the tariff, or anything else. President Abraham Lincoln made a choice to call for 75,000 volunteers to “suppress the rebellion” in those seven states. Had he been initiating the war in order to abolish slavery, he would have called for volunteers to invade all 15 slave states, but he did not. Lincoln wrote, “My paramount object in this struggle is to save the Union, and is not either to save or to destroy slavery.” Congress later passed a resolution to emphasize that the war was not being prosecuted to end slavery — neither in the slave states that had left the Union, nor in the slave states that remained in the Union.

But Lincoln’s call for an invasion of seven states did cause four more states to join the seven in leaving the Union, including Lee’s home state of Virginia. Lee resigned his commission in the Army rather than take up arms against his home state. Had Virginia not joined the Confederacy, Lee would not have joined the Confederate army.

He certainly did not join the Confederacy in order to keep his slaves. Writing that Lee was a prominent slaveowner leaves the impression that Lee supported slavery, which is not true.

Northern men signed up to save the Union, not to destroy slavery. Why did southern soldiers sign up? Only a tiny minority of the men who donned the Confederate gray owned any slaves at all. The reason they fought was because Union soldiers invaded the South. Had they not invaded the South, there would have been no war. One can argue whether it was prudent for the South to secede, or whether the North was justified in its invasion, but the bottom line is that the war was not fought to abolish slavery.

Yet, Lee is regularly condemned as fighting to preserve slavery. The truth is that Lee denounced slavery before the war even began. In a letter to his wife from Camp Brown in Texas, written in 1856, Lee described his feelings about slavery. “I believe,” Lee wrote, “in this enlightened age, there are few who will not acknowledge that slavery as an institution is a moral and political evil.”

So, was Lee a slaveowner? Here is the truth, for those who actually care to hear it. Lee inherited slaves from his father-in-law’s estate in a will that made it practically impossible for them to be immediately freed. The will provided that the slaves would be freed after all of the estate’s debts were paid off. “The immediate trouble,” Douglas Southall Freeman wrote in his multi-volume biography of Lee, “was that Mr. Custis [Lee’s father-in-law] left more than $10,000 of debt and virtually no money with which to operate the estate.”

Lee could have sold the slaves to pay the debt, but he refused to take an action that would leave the slaves in bondage. But as soon as he could do so, he freed his slaves, on December 29, 1862, pronouncing them “forever set free.”

Simply saying that Lee was a “prominent slaveowner,” without putting that statement into its proper context, is either ignorant or duplicitous.

But, as with the Cultural Revolution in China under the murderous dictator Mao Tse-tung, or with the Taliban in Afghanistan, the imposition of a view of the past that excludes certain pertinent facts is to be expected. Those who agitated for the removal of the Lee statue are not finished. The Southern Poverty Law Center has a list of about 2,000 “symbols” standing across the United States that need to be removed.

The goal is not so much the removal of statues as it is the re-writing of American history to advance the cause of Marxist revolutionaries. As such, it is necessary to distort the past so as to pave the way for a socialist future.
