Biden Lifts Sanctions on Venezuela, As Maduro and ally Communist Cuba crack down on democratic protesters

“The U.S. Department of the Treasury on Monday lifted sanctions on the export of gas to socialist Venezuela,” Breitbart reported on Tuesday, “a boon to the dictatorship in Caracas and its patron government in communist Cuba, which struggles to suppress mounting opposition and calls for the regime’s total abolition.” The lifting of sanctions is significant because “Caracas has further served as an economic lifeline for Havana, supplying much of the regime’s energy needs on credit, with extremely lenient terms.”

As the U.S. announced the lifting of sanctions, the Miami Herald reported, Venezuela’s Maduro regime surrounded the home of opposition leader Juan Guaidó and arrested his former deputy Freddy Guevara. The U.S. move took the establishment media by surprise.

“The Biden Administration is also maintaining its predecessor Donald Trump’s confrontational stance on Venezuela and China, two of Cuba's closest allies,” Newsweek reported Tuesday, in a piece headlined, “Joe Biden Wounds Cuba, Venezuela and China's Hopes of Obama-style Détente.” Back in February, Reuters reported that Biden was in “no rush” to lift sanctions on Venezuela but would consider easing them if Maduro showed he was ready to negotiate with the opposition.

Maduro did no such thing, and cracked down on the opposition even as the sanctions were lifted. Protesters in Caracas and Havana had grounds to believe the move aligned the United States with Cuban and Venezuelan regimes, and against those now suffering repression. Biden’s belated statement on the Cuban protesters, for example, was hardly “full-throated,” as Newsweek claimed.

“We stand with the Cuban people and their clarion call for freedom and relief from the tragic grip of the pandemic,” the White House statement said, “and from the decades of repression and economic suffering to which they have been subjected by Cuba’s authoritarian regime.” So the protest is primarily about the pandemic and an openly Communist regime is only “authoritarian.” Contrast Biden with Bernie Sanders during the 2020 primaries. “We’re very very opposed to the authoritarian nature of Cuba,” the Vermont socialist said, “ but you know, it’s unfair to simply say everything is bad.”

Cuban protesters bore signs denouncing la dictadura, but Biden would not say “dictatorship,” or “totalitarian,” much less “Communist.” Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked Biden press secretary Jen Psaki if Cubans wanted to leave because “they don’t like Communism.” Psaki said Cubans were “opposed to the oppression, to the mismanagement of the government in the country.”

In similar style on Tuesday, Secretary of State Antony Blinken told reporters “Cubans were “tired of the mismanagement of the Cuban economy, tired of the lack of adequate food and, of course, an adequate response to the Covid-19 pandemic.”

On Tuesday Biden’s Department of Homeland Security boss Alejandro Mayorkas told Cubans “if you take to the sea, you will not come to the United States.” If individuals establish “a well-founded fear of persecution or torture, they are referred to third countries for resettlement. They will not enter the United States.”  As embattled Cubans might note, that marks a stark contrast to Biden’s open-border policy with “migrants” from anywhere else in the world.

“Freedom Floats: Cubans Risking Death to Cross Straits on ‘Chugs,’” headlines a July 2 report in Keysweekly. Since October, the U.S. Coast Guard has interdicted 512 Cubans. If the fleeing Cubans are intercepted “they are held at an undisclosed location and returned in groups to the island nation.” Flight from the Communist nation is not a new development.

According to the Library of Congress, “In the 1980s and 1990s, tens of thousands of hopeful emigrants attempted to flee by sea, chancing death by drowning, exposure, or shark attacks to make the 90-mile crossing. Many thousands rode only on flimsy, dangerous, homemade vessels, including inner tubes, converted cars, and cheap plywood rafts, or balsos. Hundreds of the balseros died on the journey.” For other accounts of the exodus see the Washington Post, from 1991, and a 2014 report in the New York Times.

As these and many other reports confirm, Cuba is so repressive that Cubans of all ages will flee the Communist dictadura in virtually anything that floats, risking their lives and leaving loved ones behind. Cuba was a Soviet colony but after the demise of the USSR, Venezuela became Cuba’s primary supporter. Hugo Chavez and Nicolas Maduro transformed a prosperous nation into a socialist basket case, but the regime still propped up the Cuban dictadura. Biden’s lifting of sanctions will reinforce that support.

Maduro regards Juan Guaidó as a U.S. puppet, the role Joe Biden plays for the composite character David Garrow described in Rising Star: The Making of Barack Obama.  His beloved Frank Marshall Davis, who got more than 2,000 words in Dreams from My Father, was an African American Communist who spent most of his life defending an all-white Soviet dictatorship. In similar style, the composite character president put time back on the clock for Cuba’s all-white Communist dictadura, headed for decades by white Sado-Stalinist Fidel Castro.

The composite character is a big fan of Black Lives Matter, and according to BLM Cuba is being “punished by the U.S. government because the country has maintained its commitment to sovereignty and self-determination.” A BLM statement blames the USA for Cuba’s problems and praises the regime for protecting “Black revolutionaries like Assata Shakur,” a reference to cop-killer JoAnne Chesimard, given asylum by Fidel Castro.

Joe Biden is such a fan of Black Lives Matter that he allows U.S. embassies to display BLM flags and banners.  Maybe the Delaware Democrat thinks Cubans “ain’t black,” if they don’t like their “authoritarian” government that mismanages the economy. If Cubans thought the addled Joe Biden was a friend of the Communist dictadura and an enemy of the Cuban people it would be hard to blame them.

How the Air Force Academy Makes the Disloyal Military Leaders of Tomorrow~Brainwashing the men and women who protect America to hate and destroy it

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism.

In 2007, Mark Milley, then a mere colonel, was being interviewed about his experiences by Lynne Chandler Garcia. Now Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Milley is defending critical race theory while Garcia, an associate professor at the Air Force Academy, teaches it.

The woman described by one student as "the worst professor I've had" back when she was teaching logic for the philosophy department at a community college recently came forward with a Washington Post op-ed announcing her enthusiasm for injecting Marxism into the Air Force.

"I teach critical race theories to our nation’s future military leaders because it is vital that cadets understand the history of the racism that has shaped both foreign and domestic policy,” the historically illiterate logic teacher wrote.

Garcia, whose bio states that she holds “military secret clearance”, is promoting a Marxist ideology in her “Politics, American Government, and National Security" course. The curriculum lists her course, which implicitly attacks the existence of America, as a ”contributor to the development and assessment of the National Security of the American Republic”.

The Air Force Academy admitted that “some elements from CRT canon are included in the course to encourage critical thinking" (another academic term for Marxism), but claimed that critical race theory is not "endorsed by the institution as institutional doctrine.”

It has however been endorsed every other way.

The disloyal military leaders of tomorrow are being shaped in the corrupted Academy of today.

As the BLM race riots devastated American cities, former superintendent Jay Silveria, who had been handpicked by former Air Force Chief of Staff David Goldfein to head the Academy, told students that it was "a time to acknowledge that disparities exist in our nation and within our Force, and that we must all be willing to talk about the realities of social injustice."

Outside the world of Marxist wokeness “disparities” are the result of individual choices, talents, dedication and so forth, and in America have nothing to do with racism, since institutional racism was outlawed by the Civil Rights Act almost 60 years ago.

Silveria was echoing his boss’ call for outrage over George Floyd’s drug overdose death and his claims that America was somehow racist. Along with his push for a review of racial disparities.

“We have to acknowledge we have racism, we have bias,” Silveria insisted. That’s one man’s ideologically shaped opinion, but do our military recruits have to have that drummed into them by a community college logic teacher who lacks any credentials for making pronouncements that defame the country her institution and its students are supposed to be defending?

Like much of the military, the Air Force Academy was subjected to "critical conversations" that Silvera claimed would help those like him who were "confused, angry and need to discuss what is going on in our nation."

In July, the academy's football team and coaches – more authorities on things they don’t know - released a video supporting Black Lives Matter.

“Educate yourself on the role that race plays in our history,” a white coach demanded. "It’s time for me to recognize my bias," another white coach confessed.

"Black lives have not been and are not treated as equals in our society," players and coaches angrily chanted the mantra of critical race theory racists. "It’s not enough for us to be not racist. It’s time to be anti-racist."  This sentence is ideological garbage straight out of Ibram X Kendi’s racist book How To Be An Anti-Racist, which according to the leftist Kendi is by agreeing with him. Literally.

Superintendent Silveria did not condemn the video in which Academy employees used an official social media account to push a partisan racist message. Instead, he doubled down on critical race theory, falsely claiming that "across our Nation, we are also grappling with an outpouring of emotion and outrage over systemic racism and social injustice." To repeat. systemic racism was outlawed by the 1964 Civil Rights Act. If it exists, it’s illegal and there would be lawsuits collecting damages. If it exists, where are those lawsuits?

Instead of disciplining the coaches involved, he issued a memo to improve "diversity and inclusion" and falsely claimed that "systemic racism exists in our society" affecting "identity groups" based "on race, ethnicity, age, gender", and "sexual orientation."

Systemic racism can’t and does not exist except in a program like “affirmative action” which had to get a pass from the Supreme Court precisely because it is illegal. And yet the leadership of the Air Force Academy insisted on brainwashing future military leaders with Marxist lies.

“The Black Lives Matter movement is important and I understand the purpose and the oppression behind the movement,” Silvera told the Journal of Character and Leadership Development.

The Center for Character and Leadership Development, once tasked with inculcating ethics and purpose, was leading those “critical conversations” about racism based on disparities that are the results of inequalities that exist in all racial groups. And of course the epidemic of anti-white racism, the most prominent form of ignorant bigotry abroad today.

This year, a professor at the Center wrote an article in the journal calling not for a "post-racial mindset", but an "inherently anti-racism mindset" where “anti-racism” means accepting delusional fantasies of America as “white supremacist” society, when the opposite is the case. In the real world eight racial groups “of color” have greater incomes than whites, which would be impossible in the fantasy world that the Air Force Academy now claims exists.

Another article by two professors contended that "American freedom... is unequal and differentiated, especially by race, ethnicity, gender" and urged that the military should not be an apolitical institution but that the role of military leaders should be to help soldiers "understand and confront'' political debates. Otherwise "American military leaders may miss an opportunity to contribute constructively to a national debate on these important matters."

The military serves its national purpose when it is a killing machine superior to that of our enemies. Turning it into a social experiment kaffeeklatsch undermines its only legitimate purpose and makes us vulnerable to our enemies whose societies are the most oppressive and racist on earth.

The military and its leaders are being reshaped to serve the malignant purposes of our most determined enemies.

The USAFA once encouraged cadets to see themselves as part of something larger. Now it undermines that unity and cohesion with sessions that promote the "Native American Experience" and the "African-American Experience" urging those who "identify" with the group to segregate themselves by race and complain about their status within the military.

The identity politics rot continued as Silvera stepped down and was replaced by Superintendent Richard M. Clark. Just as Goldfein had made way for Brown, the first black Air Force Chief of Staff, Clark would be the first black superintendent of the Air Force Academy.

Clark described his son going to a BLM protest and suggested that much of the Air Force might feel the same way. “There’s probably an anger that we don’t even know about," he suggested.

It was ugly and dangerously inappropriate language for a senior military leader to use.

Instead of using his appointment as evidence of the country’s incredible opportunities for those like him, the new superintendent was carrying on the tradition of trashing America as racist

Earlier this year, the Air Force Academy announced that it was opening a special Diversity and Inclusion Reading Room in the McDermott Library in response to Floyd’s drug overdose death and the accompanying Black Lives Matter riots. The reading room boasted a post-it board encouraging students to jot down what diversity meant to them.

The McDermott Library already offers copies of Ibram X. Kendi's How To Be An Anti-Racist and Stamped From the Beginning, along with Ta-Nehisi Coates' rabidly racist screed, Between The World And Me, which demonized the police officers and firefighters who died to rescue trapped Americans on 9/11 as "not human to me", and described black crime as entirely the fault of whites.

Also available is Race Course Against White Supremacy, a book by domestic terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. Ayers actually bombed the Pentagon, and described it in his memoir in these words:  “Everything was absolutely ideal. … The sky was blue. The birds were singing. And the bastards were finally going to get what was coming to them.”

The book by a domestic terrorist who bombed the Pentagon and invented the term “white skin privilege falsely claims that “the United States was conceived as a white supremacist nation” and “remains fundamentally dedicated to structures, institutions, and ideologies that construct and enforce white domination.”

The transformation of the Air Force Academy into just another radical campus has confused and angered many of its alumni who remember a very different institution. And it was different.

The United States Air Force Academy faculty had been made up exclusively of military officers for generations. That helped protect the USAFA from the academic decay of most colleges. But in 1994, a Democrat Congress forced the academy to integrate “civilian faculty”. Like the intellectually challenged and ideologically warped, Garcia.

While many students and faculty initially resisted the civilian academics, the radicals began to inject their leftist politics into the classroom and used them to sow dissension in the military ranks. Service branch academies, once fundamentally different from civilian colleges, are coming to resemble the campuses and curriculums of any left-wing college.

Air Force Academy courses like Class, Race, and Ethnicity in Society, and Gender, Sexuality, and Society, offer familiar narratives attacking Martin Luther King’s vision of a colorblind society as racist, and promoting the racist idea of skin privilege. And while it's not surprising to see identity politics embedded into English and Behavioral Science, the "socio-cultural" element in USAFA's History department is almost as bad with students being asked to analyze WW1 through the lenses of "colonialism, race" and "gender".

Race, gender, and class are a constant academic theme at USAFA. And race and gender are linked to leadership and accomplishment when it comes to ethics and values.

Lynne Chandler Garcia is not an outlier. She’s just one of the few civilian professors to go public outside Air Force circles about what’s really going on at the Air Force Academy.

Each Democrat administration has added another building block to the crisis that has decimated the integrity and allegiances of the Air Force Academy and much of the rest of the military.

The Clinton administration and its allies in Congress helped put the likes of Garcia and other leftist radicals in USAFA classrooms. The Academy hands out copies of Attitudes Aren't Free: Thinking Deeply about Diversity in the US Armed Forces, a text from the Obama administration, which promoted radical gender and racial ideas, including “privilege”, into the military.

Tragically, for our nation, the Biden administration is continuing Clinton and Obama’s destruction of the military.

The disloyal military leadership is composed of some careerists who have learned to tell Democrat administrations what they want to hear and incorporate all their social agendas.

But others are the products of a military academic system that is as broken and corrupt as our civilian colleges, which have become one-party Marxist institutions.

When Garcia boasts of teaching "critical race theories to our nation’s future military leaders”, she’s taking pride in weakening the defenses of a country she hates.

The disloyal military leaders of tomorrow will be the products of Garcia’s classes, and political indoctrination sessions like them.

Better military leadership begins with restoring the integrity of the Air Force Academy and all service branch academies. Our country is barely surviving woke government and woke corporations, it will not survive the disloyal military leaders of a woke military.

America’s Frontline Doctors: Door-to-door COVID shot pushers report unvaccinated to government health departments

‘Be sure to fill out the Doorknocking Spreadsheet with the counts of who still needs a vaccine … This is important information that the Health Department is relying on!’

The Department of Homeland Security offers a training course to law enforcement, health care workers, and other government employees detailing how to prepare and execute a mass public quarantine in rural areas of the United States.

A website by the Rural Domestic Preparedness Consortium (RDPC), a training provider for the Department of Homeland Security, says:

“This 8.0-hour, instructor-led course is designed to provide the knowledge necessary to begin planning for situations requiring the isolation and quarantine (I&Q) of a large portion of a local, rural population. This training will provide public- and private-sector emergency managers, community policymakers, public health, and public safety personnel with the general knowledge necessary to begin planning for situations requiring the isolation and quarantine of a large portion of a local, rural population. A rural community’s ability to collectively respond to an emergency requiring isolation and quarantine is not only essential to minimizing the negative impacts to the community at risk, but also to minimizing the long-term negative economic and health effects on the American public as a whole.”

“This program was supported by Cooperative Agreement Number EMW-2016-CA-0097, administered by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security/Federal Emergency Management Agency, National Preparedness Directorate, National Training & Education Division.” A disclaimer reads: “Points of view or opinions in this program are those of the author(s) and do not represent the position or policies of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security/Federal Emergency Management Agency.”

“Core Capabilities” recommended for course participants include environmental response/health and safety, on-scene security and protection, operational communications, operations coordination, planning, public health, healthcare and emergency medical services, risk management for protection, programs, and activities, situational assessment, and supply chain integrity and security. However, the only solid prerequisite to gain the “knowledge necessary” in the 8-hour course is that the “participant must be a U.S. citizen.”

Module Two of the course overview entitled Legal and Ethical Issues of Isolation and Quarantine says: “This module focuses on the legal and ethical considerations of isolation and quarantine. The federal, state and local government legal authorities regarding isolation and quarantine responses will be covered. Due process of law regarding isolation and quarantine will also be reviewed.”

Each student is required “to participate in and pass a course post-assessment with a score of 70% or better to meet the course completion requirements. Each student who meets all of the course completion requirements will receive a pre-approved, Rural Domestic Preparedness Consortium (RDPC) certificate of completion stamped with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) logo.”

It is unclear what authority bearers of this certificate wield, or the limits thereof.

A Lake County, Illinois Health Department document entitled Community Health Ambassador Outreach Door Knocking Project to Increase COVID Vaccine Acceptance contains “information and a script” that stresses: “You are not soliciting. Because you are not seeking an order for any goods or services, you are not considered a solicitor. Therefore, ‘No Solicitation’ signs do not apply to you while you are performing this activity.”

The document continues: “After you enter the building, orient yourself so you systematically proceed from floor-to-floor, covering each wing. Utilize the tally sheet to keep count of those interested in getting the vaccine, those who refuse and those with further questions.”

The document also advises participants to “report on your work! Be sure to fill out the Doorknocking Spreadsheet with the counts of who still needs a vaccine … This is important information that the Health Department is relying on!”

Meanwhile, in the words of breaking911.com, North Carolina health department workers “armed” with COVID-19 shots lurked nearby as Action NC volunteers went door to door, plying their target neighborhoods with the experimental biological agent.

“Action NC’s mission is to confront and reduce the root causes of poverty, underdevelopment, and social and economic inequality through grassroots education, training, organization and mobilization.

We organize in poor and working-income communities full of talented and committed people looking for an opportunity to work together to build a stronger and more secure future. We reach out to them in a variety of ways to offer them the opportunity to join, organize, fight, and win.”

“The purpose of these campaigns is to win improvements and to build power,” Action NC’s mission statement says, concluding: “as our members work to build our organization, we also look for opportunities to partner effectively with others so that we can present a stronger and more united front in our specific campaigns, and in our collective drive for justice and equality.”

In a 2017 article appearing on the Action NC website entitled How Trump has trumped your rights, author Kevin Rogers wrote: “Since Donald Trump has taken office, every policy that has been suggested or imposed has received fierce backlash from a majority of the country.”

CDC whistleblowers say covid vaccines have already killed 50,000 Americans

(Natural News) Dr. Peter McCullough, one of the most highly cited physicians on the early treatment of the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19), has put out an explosive new video claiming that Wuhan Flu shots have already killed more than 50,000 Americans.

Calling the so-called “vaccine” a “bioweapon,” along with the Chinese Virus itself, Dr. McCullough alleges that the entire plandemic is a form of bioterrorism against the people, its purpose to cull and depopulate a great many of them.

“As this, in a sense, bioterrorism phase one was rolled out, it was really all about keeping the population in fear and in isolation and preparing them to accept the vaccine, which appears to be phase two of a bioterrorism operation,” McCullough stated during a recent webinar with German attorney Reiner Fuellmich and several other doctors.

“Both the respiratory virus and the vaccine delivered to the human body the spike protein, the gain of function target of this bioterrorism research.”

McCullough’s video is available for viewing at this link.

Hundreds of thousands of lives could have been saved with treatments for covid that were banned by the government

During the talk, McCullough made the bold claim that at least three whistleblowers, two of them from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), have confirmed that the true number of deaths caused by Fauci Flu shots is considerably higher than what the official numbers show.

Since VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System) only captures maybe one percent of all adverse events that actually occur, it is likely that the true count is orders of magnitude higher than what is being reported.

“Fifty-thousand deaths,” McCullough stated. “So, we actually have more deaths due to the vaccine per day than certainly the viral illness by far. It’s basically propagandized bioterrorism by injection.”

According to VAERS, there have been 5,993 officially reported deaths from Chinese Virus injections. If this accounts for just one percent of all actual deaths, then the true death count is actually closer to 600,000, though this cannot be proven.

Meanwhile, 600,000 people are said to have died after testing “positive” for the Wuhan Flu, and McCullough says that at least 85 percent of these deaths could have been prevented had the government allowed for early treatment with drugs like hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) and ivermectin.

“Instead, people were told to stay home and not return to the hospital unless their symptoms got worse, such as severe breathing problems,” reports Algora. “By then it was too late for many. They were placed on ventilators and died.”

“The vast majority of doctors jumped in lockstep to follow these erroneous ‘guidelines’ handed down by the World Health Organization and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control. Those guidelines neglected to place any focus on the treatment of sick patients and, from the beginning, as early as April 2020, started emphasizing the need for a vaccine as the only real hope of beating back the virus.”

According to McCullough, everything the government and public health figureheads suggested or mandated throughout the plandemic only made things worse. Suppressing proven treatments (i.e., HCQ and ivermectin) while pushing unproven ones (i.e., “vaccines”) is a recipe for mass death and destruction, which is exactly what we are now witnessing with the emergence of “variants.”

These variants are nothing more than adverse events caused by the vaccines themselves, and yet the media and government are blaming the “unvaccinated” for their spread, which is certifiably false.

McCullough is working hard to change the public’s view of the jabs, noting that many are now experiencing vaccine regret after having foolishly taken the injection.

LUDLOW, MASS. Middle school staff grooms kids to be “transgender”; changes their names, and hides it from parents

Preferred pronouns. Banning the term ‘boys and girls.’ And more.

Part 7 in our series. (See Parts 1-6 here.)

Transgender indoctrination begins: Notice on classroom door from librarian and two other staff members instructs kids to have "respect and tolerance" for the LGBT agenda.

The insane idea of “transgenderism” – that a person was “born as the wrong body” and therefore must “change” it – is now being foisted on middle school students (ages 11-13). What is going on? How does this happen? What you are about to read is ghastly. But it is now frighteningly common across America.

As we described in previous sections, in late 2019 and early 2020 the Baird Middle School in Ludlow, MA, became a center of controversy when a teacher (and some parents) exposed the graphic sexual, homosexual, and transgender themed books in the library and classrooms. This was primarily the handiwork of the librarian (a weird cross-dressing woman) and her many allies on the staff. It was supported by the Principal, the Superintendent, and the School Board.

ALT TEXT
The Baird Middle School librarian (at right).

Parents were very upset. But little did they know that this was just the beginning.

The gruesome “transgender lessons”

The COVID shutdowns kept the kids out of school for much of 2020. But late in the year the kids began coming back for a few days a week in shifts (which often changed). Teachers (and also guidance counselors) took advantage of that disruption to introduce radical “transgender” ideas to the kids.

Because of the changing COVID schedules, many of the kids began spending a lot of time in the library. According to several sources, the librarian often held “one-on-one” book talks with certain children. They were given special books to read and even suggestions of transgender-themed YouTube videos to watch. As one teacher pointed out, many of these are kids from troubled homes and were easy prey for such messages. The librarian also put up a prominent gay / transgender “safe space” sign outside the library door and (we were told) “unisex” signs on the boys’ and girls’ restrooms.

ALT TEXT
Sign on the library door: "This is a safe and inclusive space for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender students and their allies."

Teachers in the school, along with students, were instructed not to use the terms “boys” and “girls” because they were too gender-specific. A list of “alternatives” was posted with acceptable terms that could be used instead. (It was not universally supported; one teacher there resigned over this.)

ALT TEXT

It went even farther. In their classrooms children were being told to decide their “preferred pronouns” (“him” or “her” – or something else!). One can imagine the psychological confusion that this bizarre concept brings to young minds. It is right out of lunatic “queer theory” and educators everywhere are buying into it.

Parents also discovered that some children were being persuaded by school staff, including guidance counselors, that they are truly “transgender.” For example, one girl said that because she likes doing some “boys” things like fishing, she was told that probably she really is a boy.

Assigning kids opposite-sex first names!

As children’s confusion grew, teachers were facilitating the trans indoctrination by calling them opposite-sex first names in class. For example, Jack would be called “Judy” and Sharon would be called “Steve” by the teacher - and also fellow students – and they began to accept it as reality. This happened with several children that we now know of. Because the school was doing this to them, the kids thought it was all right. But the school administration purposefully kept this information from the parents.

The Superintendent and Principal both approved of this vile tactic. In fact, they were prepared to officially change kids’ names on the school records “when the student is ready,” we were told – also without parents’ knowledge or input.

It’s hard for normal people to appreciate the depth of this toxic situation. Here is an example of an email that one of the Baird guidance counselors sent to the rest of the staff in early 2021, regarding a 11-year-old girl:

Subject: Michael [Last name] – Preferred name and pronouns

From: Marie-Claire Foley

Hi all,

Mary has a preferred name of Michael/Mike and preferred pronouns of he and his. He understands that there will be times that “Mary” and “she/her” slips out and he is fine with that.

Michael is still in the process of telling his parents and is requesting that school staff refer to him as Mary and use she/her pronouns with his parents and in written emails/letters home. When Michael has informed his parents of his preferred name and pronouns, we will change the name in the computer system if that is what he wishes to do at that time.

I explained to him that we understand this is a complicated process and we will be as supportive as possible – but may make mistakes from time to time.

Thanks,
Marie

More to come

It is hard for most of us to believe that people would do this to children - especially the teachers and guidance counselors in a middle school, with the full support of the Superintendent and Principal and even the School Board.

Unfortunately, most of us are very naive. It is now like this almost everywhere across the country (and beyond). What local schools are doing to vulnerable children is evil and criminal. But this isn’t the end of the story in Ludlow!

Next: The “transgenderism” gets exposed and the fight in Ludlow takes off - as MassResistance gets involved!

Polls: Post China Virus, Britons, Americans Willing to Give Up Liberties

BY R. CORT KIRKWOOD

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

The last 15 months of China Virus shutdowns and mask mandates have given Americans a taste of authoritarianism, and they apparently like it. The same is true for Britons.

Polling data pulled together by the libertarian Reason magazine also show that restrictions to basic liberties needn’t be tied to the potentially deadly Asiatic pathogen. Many of those polled will happily curtail their activities and freedom of movement for the “common good.”

That, of course, is defined by the same power-mad politicians and public-health authorities who shut down the world economy after China unleashed the virus.

The Data

The latest numbers, Reason reported, come from an Ipsos MORI poll for The Economist:

“Public willingness to sacrifice for the common good in a time of crisis has surprised ministers,” The Economist noted last week. “But the pandemic has also revealed John Bull’s authoritarian streak.” The magazine went on to report on the results of polling conducted along with Ipsos MORI that found a surprising degree of support among Britons not just for the lockdowns of the past year, but for maintaining restrictions sold as efforts to head off the spread of COVID-19.

Two-thirds of those polled want masks, social distancing, and travel restrictions “until covid-19 is controlled worldwide, which may take years,” The Economist reported.

Then comes this frightening fact from the polling report: “[A] sizeable minority would like personal freedoms to be restricted permanently.”

You read that right: “Restricted permanently.”

What might those restrictions include, and what’s the level of support? Try these on for size:

  • keeping nightclubs and casinos closed forever (26 percent);
  • enforced social distancing in theaters, pubs and sports grounds (34 percent);
  • mandatory 10-day quarantines for people returning from foreign countries (35 percent); mandatory tracking-app check-ins when entering pubs and restaurants (36 percent);
  • mandatory masks in shops and on public transportation (40 percent); and
  • foreign travel allowed only with proof of vaccination (46 percent).

As well, the Ipsos poll found that “majorities favor keeping some controls in place ‘until COVID-19 is under control worldwide.’”

The madness isn’t confined to England.

“A plurality of voters say their area should start to roll back coronavirus restrictions when at least 75 percent of the local population is vaccinated,” The Hill reported of the Hill-HarrisX poll:

Thirty-four percent of registered voters in the March 5-8 survey said restrictions should be lifted when at least 75 percent of the population in an area has been vaccinated.

Roughly a quarter of respondents, 24 percent, said restrictions should be rolled back right now, while 21 percent said the vaccinated population should reach at least 50 percent capacity first.

Another 7 percent said restrictions should be lifted when one in four people have been vaccinated, while 14 percent said restrictions should be kept in place “indefinitely.”

Again, you read that right: Virus restrictions will be “indefinite.”

Reuters survey the same month found strong support for restrictions on those who aren’t vaccinated, Reason reported:

The poll found majority support for barring the unvaccinated from airplanes (63 percent), public schools (59 percent), gyms (54 percent), theaters (56 percent), and offices where they’re employed (56 percent). All of this even though the vaccines against COVID-19 are remarkably effective at shielding those who take them against illness, no matter the status of people around them.

Continuing Expectations

Continued Reason, “admittedly, that was several months ago, before everybody who wanted a COVID-19 vaccine had an opportunity to get jabbed; fears may have calmed since then. But more recent surveys showing a continuing expectation of, and taste for, restrictions.”

Thus, 62 percent of those polled in June by East Carolina University backed last year’s stay-at-home-orders even after the economic wreckage they caused and the sight of politicians and other prominent officials violating those orders with impunity.

“Similar majorities favored face-covering mandates (65.1 percent) and quarantine requirements (67.9 percent) imposed in many states over the past year — but also said that wasn’t enough,” Reason reported:

COVID-19 “was a problem and not enough was done early on to stop it from getting worse,” agreed 62.6 percent of those polled. A dissenting 28.5 percent believed “it was a problem, but governments overreacted.”

A Gallup survey in June found that 35 percent believe “healthy people should ‘stay home as much as possible to avoid contracting or spreading the coronavirus,’” and “a depressingly high 40 percent say that life will ‘never get back to normal.’”

Cuba: Communist Gov’t Uses Violence and Censorship, Blames Cubans in America for Protests

The communist government of Cuba has cracked down on the protests that began this past weekend, using violence to quell otherwise mostly peaceful demonstrations. It is now reported that a Cuban protester has died after police allegedly opened fire on a crowd of protesters. Many others have been arrested, including well-known dissidents, civil-rights activists, and artists.

On Wednesday, Daily Mail reported that police allegedly opened fire on a peaceful demonstration, killing 36-year-old Diubis Laurencio Tejeda. And an anti-government reporter was arrested live on TV. Waldo Herrera, a resident of the area where this took place, said, “I think the Communists have lost control, they won’t have a solution to this situation.”

Tejeda’s death was confirmed by the Orwellian-named Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Cuba, though it did not confirm reports that Tejeda died from a gunshot as security forces opened fire on a group of protesters. Daily Mail reported, “Hundreds had taken to streets in La Guinera, shouting slogans like ‘down with communism,’ and ‘freedom for the people of Cuba,’ according to two residents and video footage seen by Reuters.” The report also states that Herrera said some of the protesters started throwing rocks at security forces, who eventually responded with gunfire.

Social-media activist Dina Stars was arrested in the middle of an online video interview with Spain TV host Marta Flich on Tuesday. As she was discussing the protests with Flich, Stars was informed that security services were outside her home, demanding that she come out. She told Flich, “Security is out there,” adding, “I have to go out.” As she stood to go out, she said, “I make the government responsible for whatever happens to me.” She returned a few moments later to end the interview, saying she was being taken to police headquarters.

As the Daily Mail reported, “Additional footage posted on Twitter appears to show Stars being escorted by two police officers into a vehicle outside her building.”

It is not known whether Stars has been released or is still being held.

Others being held included dissident Guillermo Farinas, former political prisoner Jose Daniel Ferrer, and artist Luis Manuel Otero Alcantara.

Ss CNN reported, “The Movimiento San Isidro, which advocates for greater artistic expression in Cuba, published a list of activists that it said were believed to have been detained by authorities.” According to Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares, journalist Camila Acosta is among those detained or arrested. Albares has called for her release.

Furthermore, the heavy-handed communist government has been interrupting the Internet and blocking social media as a reaction to the protests. President (and Communist Party leader) Miguel Díaz-Canel has blamed the protests on Cubans in America, saying they have used social media to spark the protests and fan the flames.

Diaz-Canel made his claims about social-media posts from Cubans living in America during a nationally televised appearance Monday in which his entire Cabinet was present. “We’ve seen how the campaign against Cuba was growing on social media in the past few weeks,” he said, adding, “That’s the way it’s done — Try to create in conformity, dissatisfaction by manipulating emotions and feelings.”

A Tale of Two Protests: Cuba’s Anti-communist Demonstrations and America’s Pro-communist Riots

The contrast between the protests in Cuba and those in America is worth noting. The protests in Cuba are by people sick and tired of being crushed under the boot of communism and are marked by mostly peaceful demonstrations; those in America are by crybaby snowflakes sick and tired of living in a land of freedom and opportunity and — while often described as “mostly peaceful” by the liberal media — are marked by violence, looting, and vandalism. Cubans cry, “Freedom!” and “Fatherland and Life!” and — while crowding the street outside the Communist Party headquarters — “Cuba isn’t yours!” Antifa and BLM cry, “No Justice, No Peace!” “F**k the Police!” and “Burn it down!” while demanding the very communism from which Cubans cry to be free.

All of that is to say that when this writer describes the protests in Cuba as being mostly peaceful, it is not the same thing as the liberal media describing a BLM/Antifa riot as “mostly peaceful” as the fires of revolution burn in the background. In fact, it is almost the exact opposite.

Of course, there have been reports of Cuban protesters throwing rocks at government security forces there. But, frankly, that is to be expected; Cuba’s communist regime has a history of silencing all opposition by rounding people up, imprisoning them, and even executing them, all without anything approaching due process or a fair trial. So, far from the situation in the United States where BLM claims to live in fear of police while dancing on police cars, Cubans who dare challenge their tyrannical government have a legitimate reason to fear. That is why many thousands of them have — in the more than 60 years since Castro’s revolution plunged the former island paradise into a despotic hole of misery — crossed the sea to Florida in makeshift rafts unfit for calm waters, much less the ocean. Those Cubans risked their lives to escape a fate they seem to deem worse than death.

Cuba was seized in a revolution. The communist government there was born in violence; it will likely have to die in violence. So, if protesters who have gathered peacefully to demand that the communists loosen the reins find themselves being arrested and dragged off as political prisoners, perhaps they can be forgiven for throwing a few rocks at security forces.

Here in America, we can only pray for the true liberation of Cuba and that God saves us from a similar fate.

Loudoun County, VIRGINIA Churches Obeying God Rather Than Virginia

It happened in Jerusalem and it was the greatest blow struck in the ancient world on behalf of the establishment of individual liberty when Peter and the other apostles replied to the order of the Jewish authorities to shut up about the recently executed Jesus.

“We must obey God rather than men,” they said, according to Acts 5:29.

There is nothing else said or done in the ancient world, not in Rome or Athens or anywhere else, that so clearly established that the state is not the ultimate authority and is in fact subordinate to God.

You want to trace the path that led to the “inalienable rights” of the Declaration of Independence? You gotta start with this courageous statement by Peter and the other apostles.

Of course, shortly after uttering those words, the apostles were flogged for their efforts to proclaim that Jesus Christ had been crucified dead and buried, then resurrected as proof that He is exactly what He claimed to be, God Incarnate.

RecommendedVirginia Forces Christian Ministries to Adopt ‘Government Ideology’ or Pay $100K

The state never gives up its presumption of ultimate authority easily and those floggings were succeeded by a dreary succession down through the centuries of persecution, including far more cruel and horrific beheadings, burnings at the stake, and drawing and quartering of Christians who refused to bow down to any but the sovereign Lord.

They don’t face such severe trials in Loudoun County, Virginia, not yet anyway, but Christians there must cope with a new law that constitutes nothing short of official persecution. And they are doing something about it, going to court to challenge the Virginia Values Act (VVA) in the Loudoun County Circuit Court. The case is Calvary Road Baptist Church v. Herring.

What is so bad about the VVA? According to Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), whose lawyers are in court on behalf of a coalition of local churches and faith-based groups, the VVA, the law:

Compels churches, religious schools, and Christian ministries to hire employees who do not share their stated beliefs on marriage, sexuality, and gender identity. A companion law requires the ministries and others like them to include in employee health care plans coverage for sex reassignment and “gender-affirming” surgeries that run contrary to their beliefs. It also prohibits the ministries from offering sex-specific classes for parenting, Christian discipleship, and sports.

The VVA’s most prominent advocate is Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam, the liberal Democrat made famous for his collegiate exploits wearing blackface on campus social occasions. Were Northam a Republican who did those things, he would no longer be Virginia’s chief executive, having been run out of office by Cancel Culture’s cacophony of enforcers of contemporary secular progressive orthodoxy.

The ADF barristers have quite an enviable record on behalf of religious freedom, having won 12 significant Supreme Court victories in recent years. They sound confident about this case, too:

“Religious organizations are free to make employment decisions without fear of government punishment, yet a Virginia law is violating this protected freedom by requiring them to abandon their beliefs or pay a devastating price,” ADF Senior Counsel Denise Harle said in a statement announcing the suit against the VVA.

“Virginia communities benefit greatly from the services provided by churches and faith-based schools and nonprofits, and the commonwealth must respect their right—just like anyone else’s—to continue operating by their own internal policies and codes of conduct about life, marriage, and sexuality,” she continued.

Similarly, ADF’s Kevin Theriot, who is vice president of ADF’s Center for Life, declared in the same statement:

Being able to freely live and work according to one’s beliefs is fundamental to who we are as Americans and is protected by the Constitution. What we’re seeing in Virginia, however, are government officials trying to control churches and religious groups and force them to abandon their convictions. The commonwealth has no business dictating how a faith-based organization should handle its employment decisions.

As it happens, there is no predicting how a Virginia state court will rule on such issues these days, but if ADF takes this one to the federal level, odds are quite positive, thanks in no small part to a recent decision by the federal Appeals Court for the Seventh Circuit in Chicago.

There, the judges reversed an appellate panel’s prior decision against the Archbishop of Chicago and Saint Andrew the Apostle Parish in Calumet City, Illinois. The lower court had agreed the Catholic church could not fire former music director Sandor Demkovich.

Demkovich claimed he was terminated because he is gay and married to another gay man, and that he was the victim of a hostile work environment stemming from the same factors.

Demkovich lost because the court ruled, a ruling in his favor “would not only undercut a religious organization’s constitutionally protected relationship with its ministers, but also cause civil intrusion into, and excessive entanglement with, the religious sphere.” The kind of intrusion and entanglement that is barred by the First Amendment.

“Worship is sacred. That’s why worship leaders who select and perform elements of worship are ministers of the faith, conveying its teachings to the faithful,” said Daniel Blomberg, senior counsel at the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, which also has an enviable litigation record on behalf of religious freedom.

RecommendedLawsuit: ‘I Won’t Let the State Force Me to Express Messages That Contradict My Beliefs’

“That’s also why the church — not the state — gets to make sure that its music ministers are directing its congregation in a way that’s faithful to its beliefs,” Blomberg said.

Between the Seventh Circuit opinion, multiple recent opinions in the U.S. Supreme Court, and an impressive record of litigation compiled by ADF, defenders of the VVA might be well advised to back off in Loudoun County. Their vessel has D-E-F-E-A-T written all over it.

Chick-fil-A Might as Well Actually Fund ‘Anti-LGBT’ Groups

LGBT activists are relentless in forcing their agenda on the American people. It’s not enough for companies to fly rainbow flags every Pride month — they have to use special pronouns, too. It’s not enough for businesses to serve LGBT people — they have to bake custom cakes celebrating same-sex weddings and gender transitions, too. It’s not enough for Christian companies to stop funding outspoken political groups — they have to stop funding Christian groups, too.

Take Chick-fil-A, for example. Back in 2012, LGBT activists targeted Chick-fil-A for a “kiss-in,” to protest the fast-food joint’s stance defining marriage as being between one man and one woman. At the time, outlets like Forbes reported that Chick-fil-A had given about $5 million to “anti-gay marriage groups since 2003.” Chick-fil-A’s crime? Supporting conservative nonprofits like the Family Research Council (FRC) and Exodus International, which offered therapy for people to overcome unwanted same-sex attraction (often demonized as “conversion therapy”).

The WinShape Foundation had given $1,000 to FRC, which the far-left smear factory the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) had branded an “anti-LGBT hate group” and placed on a map with the Ku Klux Klan. Liberal news outlets like HuffPost cited the SPLC’s accusation that FRC is a “hate group,” and many branded the fast-food chain “Chick-fil-hate.” The backlash mounted after CEO Dan Cathy defended marriage as between one man and one woman. LGBT activists called a boycott.

RecommendedDems Endorse Anti-Christian SPLC Report: ‘It’s Time We Extinguish All Bigoted Beliefs’

A deranged man named Floyd Corkins targeted FRC for a terrorist attack. He stormed the headquarters with a nine-millimeter handgun and a bag of Chick-fil-A chicken sandwiches. Thanks to the bravery of security guard Leo Johnson, Corkins failed to carry out his planned massacre, but he did seriously wound Johnson. He later told the FBI he targeted FRC because of the SPLC’s “hate group” accusation. He also revealed his plan to smear the chicken sandwiches into the faces of FRC staff after he had killed them.

Corkins pled guilty to terrorism charges and was sentenced to 25 years in prison.

The SPLC did not remove FRC from its “hate group” list after the attack. In fact, as I explain in my book Making Hate Pay: The Corruption of the Southern Poverty Law Center, the SPLC cleaned house at the top following a devastating scandal in which employees complained about racial discrimination, sexual harassment, and a cynical hate-for-pay fundraising “scam.” The SPLC had also used its “hate group” accusations to silence political opponents, like FRC.

Meanwhile, Christians across the country rallied to Chick-fil-A for a “Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day” led by former Gov. Mike Huckabee (R-Ark.), driving sales through the roof. Even so, the company apologized for its comments and the WinShape Foundation stopped funding most of the “anti-gay” organizations, including FRC.

Then something instructive happened. Leftist activists did not stop attacking Chick-fil-A. Instead, they slammed the fast food joint for donations to apolitical Christian organizations like the Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes — because these groups hold their employees to Christian standards of sexual morality. In 2018, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey was forced to apologize after eating Chick-fil-A in June, the designated LGBT Pride Month.

While Chick-fil-A faced airport bans in 2019, the fast-food chain had risen to become the fastest-growing restaurant chain in the nation. Known for good food, excellent service, and closing on Sundays to honor the Sabbath, it is both a natural fit for Christians and a great alternative to McDonald’s. Yet LGBT activists shut down the first Chick-fil-A in Britain.

Recommended VIPBurger King to Evangelical Christians: We Don’t Want Your Business

On Monday, a New York City assemblyman protested after Chick-fil-A had been approved to open a concession for the New York State Thruway. Notre Dame students and faculty wrote an open letter urging the university’s campus dining organization to exclude a Chick-fil-A location because the fast food chain has a “long history” of donations to “queerphobic groups.” The students cited the far-left LGBT activist group the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), which gave Chick-fil-A a “0” on its Corporate Equality Index.

The mention of HRC seems particularly noteworthy in this context. HRC is very similar to the Family Research Council, just on the opposite side of LGBT issues. While FRC promotes a Christian understanding of marriage and family, HRC aggressively pushes the LGBT agenda.

Yet companies bow and scrape to get in HRC’s good books, while they wouldn’t get caught dead giving a measly thousand bucks to the notorious “hate group” FRC. In fact, I routinely see fast food joints that proudly advertise the fact that part of the proceeds of every sale goes to the Human Rights Campaign as if HRC were not egregiously antagonistic to the religious views of millions of Americans. In fact, HRC aggressively pushes the Orwellian Equality Act, which explicitly guts the 1993 Religious Freedom Restoration Act.

I fail to see why Chick-fil-A has to bow and scrape to the LGBT activists who are intent to find any excuse to destroy this excellent fast-food chain. Chick-fil-A stopped funding “anti-LGBT” political groups, but LGBT activists doubled down on their cancel culture attempts against it.

It is high time for Chick-fil-A to earn the negative reputation it unjustly has among LGBT activists. The Family Research Council is not a hate group, any more than the Human Rights Campaign is a hate group. Christians know it. LGBT activists know it. The Southern Poverty Law Center knows it.

Perhaps Chick-fil-A should announce that it will proudly give 5 percent of the proceeds of every chicken sandwich it sells to the Family Research Council. If the LGBT activists are going to mobilize to put this fine establishment out of business anyway, it might as well do the very thing that hundreds of other restaurants do on the opposite side of the aisle.

RecommendedYes, Conservative Christians Are ‘Triggered’ By LGBT Pride Flags. Here’s Why

I make this suggestion tongue-in-cheek, of course. I’d rather businesses kept out of politics altogether — a business’s duty is to reward its shareholders by providing excellent goods and services at marketable prices. Chick-fil-A makes delicious chicken sandwiches and provides them with wonderful service. That should be more than enough.

But so long as a horde of activists is going to keep trying to put Chick-fil-A out of business, the company might as well do something to actually help the cause of the family. Maybe WinShape should once again fund FRC and give it far more than a measly thousand bucks.

Joint Chiefs Chairman Compared Trump Supporters to Nazis

Joint Chiefs Chairman Mark Milley Compared Trump to Hitler, MAGA to Nazi 'Brownshirts'

BY TYLER O'NEIL

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

After the 2020 election, Army General Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, compared President Donald Trump to Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler and Trump’s supporters in the MAGA movement to Nazi brownshirts. This only further underscores conservative fears about President Joe Biden’s efforts to root out “extremism” in the military.

“Milley told his staff that he believed Trump was stoking unrest, possibly in hopes of an excuse to invoke the Insurrection Act and call out the military,” Washington Post reporters Carol Leonnig and Philip Rucker wrote in their forthcoming book I Alone Can Fix ItCNN reported.

According to the book, Milley feared Trump would launch a coup and he prepared a plan to get the army to resign en masse rather than prevent the peaceful transition of power.

“They may try, but they’re not going to f**king succeed,” Milley reportedly told his deputies. “You can’t do this without the military. You can’t do this without the CIA and the FBI. We’re the guys with the guns.”

RecommendedHead of the Joint Chiefs Repeats CRT Propaganda Trashing the Constitution

Milley reportedly viewed Trump as “the classic authoritarian leader with nothing to lose.” He drew parallels between Hitler’s rhetoric and Trump’s worries about the 2020 election.

“This is a Reichstag moment,” Milley told aides, referring to the 1933 episode when the German parliament caught fire. Historians disagree on the ultimate cause of the fire (many claim the Nazis themselves set it), but Hitler blamed the communists and used the fire as an excuse to suspend the civil liberties of Germans.

Milley said Trump was following “the gospel of the Führer.”

In the lead-up to a pro-Trump “Million MAGA March” protest in November, Milley compared the protesters to the Nazi “brownshirts,” the militia that fueled Hitler’s rise to power. The Joint Chiefs chairman told staff that he feared the protest “could be the modern American equivalent of ‘brownshirts in the streets.'”

The Joint Chiefs chairman has refused to publicly address issues raised in the book, a defense official told CNN. The official added that the general was not calling Trump a Nazi but he did insist that he had no choice but to respond to what he considered dangerous rhetoric from Trump and his supporters.

The CNN report claims that Milley “comes off in a positive light as someone who tried to keep democracy alive because he believed it was on the brink of collapse after receiving a warning one week after the election from an old friend.”

Yet Milley’s decision to compare Trump to Hitler and his remarks about Trump supporters should raise alarm bells.

Trump arguably should not have claimed that he won the 2020 election in a landslide. However, he was right to raise concerns about the election irregularities that plagued the 2020 election. Election officials loosened election integrity protections during the 2020 election, in the name of allowing voting amid a pandemic. In a shameless sleight-of-hand, Democrats have now condemned efforts to return to the status quo as “Jim Crow on steroids.”

Trump also had good reasons to be suspicious. Not only did Big Tech and the legacy media team up to bury news that reflected poorly on Joe Biden, but Time magazine published an astonishing story about a “cabal” and a “shadow campaign” that pulled the levers behind the scenes in the 2020 election. While the article claims these efforts were aimed at preserving a free and fair election, organizations like the Center for Tech and Civic Life funneled money into blue areas of the country, boosting turnout that helped Biden prevail.

While Trump may have gone too far in claiming that he won the election, he did not encourage a violent insurrection, much less a coup. Even on January 6, Trump told his supporters to remain peaceful for the protest at the Capitol. The president ultimately condemned the Capitol riot and he did leave the White House peacefully, allowing for the transition of power.

The chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff should think rationally about the commander in chief, rather than indulging in partisan fear-mongering about him. Milley’s absurd Hitler comparisons suggest that the general started to imbibe the Left’s “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” The general’s decision to defend Marxist critical race theory and to use CRT talking points to trash the Constitution’s Three-Fifths Compromise also suggests a creeping leftist perspective.

The Joint Chiefs chairman’s remarks about Trump supporters may be even more terrifying, however. President Joe Biden has launched an effort to root “extremism” out of the military, based partially on the fact that some veterans took part in the Capitol riot. While the Department of Defense has not issued a definition of “extremism,” military whistleblowers have raised concerns about CRT materials in trainings and a provisional Army definition gives conservatives reasons to fear ideological targeting.

RecommendedAn Ominous Portent for Conservatives in the Military

If the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff saw Trump supporters as Nazi brownshirts, how does that not bode ill for conservatives in the military? While it is heartening to hear that the military would not go along with a coup against the Constitution, there is no evidence that Trump had planned such a coup and he certainly never attempted to execute it. CNN should not praise Milley for comparing Trump to Hitler — the outlet should rather repent of its own shameful fear-mongering against the former president.
