White Farmers Sue USDA Over Race-based Loan Forgiveness

Five white farmers have sued the Biden administration because it plans to administer an anti-white, openly discriminatory loan-forgiveness program.

The lawsuit argues that the U.S. Department of Agriculture and its Farm Service Agency (FSA), which lends money to farmers and ranchers, are discriminating against white farmers in offering debt forgiveness via the recently passed, $2 trillion American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. Only minorities can apply, the FSA openly says, because it must help repair the damage from years of “systemic discrimination” in lending.

In other words, whites need not apply.

The Program

FSA chief Zach Ducheneaux explained the racially discriminatory policy at USDA websites.

“USDA recognizes that socially disadvantaged farmers and ranchers have faced systemic discrimination with cumulative effects that have, among other consequences, led to a substantial loss in the number of socially disadvantaged producers, reduced the amount of farmland they control, and contributed to a cycle of debt that was exacerbated during the COVID-19 pandemic,” he wrote on March 26:

During the pandemic, socially disadvantaged communities saw a disproportionate amount of COVID-19 infection rates, loss of property, hospitalizations, death, and economic hurt.

To address these systemic challenges, the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 provides historic debt relief to socially disadvantaged producers including Black/African American, American Indian or Alaskan native, Hispanic or Latino, and Asian American or Pacific Islander.

On April 16, he explained that the USDA ARPA will “pay up to 120% of loan balances, as of January 1, 2021” for FSA loans. “If you are a Black, Native American/Alaskan Native, Asian American or Pacific Islander, or are of Hispanic/Latino ethnicity, with one of the loans listed above, you are eligible for the loan payment.”

Citing testimony from Agriculture Secretary Thomas Vilsach, the lawsuit says the agency will forgive up to 15,000 loans and more than $4 billion debt for “non-white farmers.”

The plaintiffs are Adam P. Faust and Christopher C. Baird of Wisconsin, Jonathan P. Stevens of Minnesota, Jay T. Slaba of South Dakota, and Joseph W. Schmitz of Ohio. Each is a farmer, the lawsuit avers, who would “otherwise be eligible for the loan forgiveness provisions of Section 1005 of ARPA, except that he is white.”

“In March 2021, the United States retreated from the principle of equality under the law by enacting a race-based loan-forgiveness program” in ARPA, the lawsuit argues, because it excludes whites. 

It’s Illegal

Such discrimination is illegal unless the defendants, Ducheneaux and Vilsack, can “prove that its discriminatory benefit is narrowly tailored and serves a compelling government interest,” the lawsuit argues:

While Defendants’ public statements about ARPA describe their generalized goal of ending “systemic racism,” such broad goals do not override the constitutional ban on race discrimination. In fact, the Supreme Court has “rejected the interest in remedying societal discrimination because it had no logical stopping point.… In short, “[t]he way to stop discrimination on the basis of race is to stop discriminating on the basis of race.”

Previous case law and the U.S. Constitution, the lawsuit argues, ban the open racial discrimination the program involves. 

“The liberty protected by the Fifth Amendment’s Due Process Clause contains within it the prohibition against denying to any person the equal protection of the laws,” the lawsuit avers. “The racial classifications under Section 1005 of ARPA are unconstitutional because they violate the Equal Protection guarantee in the United States Constitution.”

Nor do they serve a compelling government interest, the lawsuit argues.

The lawsuit asks the court to declare the program unconstitutional and stop the USDA from “applying racial classifications when determining eligibility” for the programs.

The lawsuit has not deterred the USDA, the Green Bay Press Gazette reported. While the agency reviews the complaint with the Justice Department, it will continue to implement the program, a spokesman said.

“There should absolutely be no federal dollars going anywhere just based on race,” Faust told the newspaper. “The economic impact from COVID-19 didn’t hurt any race more than another as far as agriculture goes.”

The Biden administration is considering using private firms to track the online activity of American citizens in order to get around the Fourth Amendment and other laws that protect Americans from unreasonable searches and seizures and surveillance. The report says that the Biden administration wants to monitor “extremist chatter by Americans online” but can’t do so without a warrant, and thinks private firms can get around the legal restrictions.

Federal authorities “can only browse through unprotected information on social media sites like Twitter and Facebook and other open online platforms,” according to CNN.

The plan being discussed inside DHS, according to multiple sources, would, in effect, allow the department to circumvent” restrictions the U.S. government has to surveil American citizens. “A source familiar with the effort said it is not about decrypting data but rather using outside entities who can legally access these private groups to gather large amounts of information that could help DHS identify key narratives as they emerge.

“By partnering with research firms who have more visibility in this space, the DHS could produce information that would likely be beneficial to both it and the FBI, which can’t monitor US citizens in this way without first getting a warrant or having the pretext of an ongoing investigation,” explains CNN. “The CIA and NSA are also limited on collecting intelligence domestically.”

“There’s a tension between wanting to empower [DHS’s intelligence office] to do this kind of workaround domestic terrorism on the one hand and then, on the other hand, the misuse of its capabilities during the summer of 2020, gives a lot of people on the Hill pause [when it comes to] potentially giving them new authorities, capabilities or resources,” a Senate aide told CNN.

It seems that the January 6 Capitol riot prompted this effort.

Much of the planning for the Capitol Hill riot appeared out in the open, on social media platforms and on encrypted apps available to anyone with an internet connection. The DHS is trying to get a better sense of “narratives” that might lead to violence as they emerge across those channels, according to two DHS officials.

But tracking those narratives, particularly in the wake of January 6, increasingly requires access to private groups on encrypted apps as extremist groups migrate from more forward-facing sites like Facebook.

By the time narratives are appearing on Facebook, it is usually too late, one DHS official told CNN.

“Domestic violent extremists are really adaptive and innovative. We see them not only moving to encrypted platforms, but obviously couching their language so they don’t trigger any kind of red flag on any platforms,” the official added.

Former Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows blasted the plan. “They spied on Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and skated by with no consequences,” he tweeted. “And now they want to spy on you too. This is a chilling, terrible idea that should be roundly rejected.”

Criticism of the plan didn’t just come from the right. Former CIA officer Bryan Dean Wright, a Democrat, called the plan “monstrous.”

A high-profile Israeli security delegation, headed by Mossad Director Yossi Cohen, is arriving in Washington this week to discuss the dangers of restoring the original 2015 Iranian nuclear accord just days after the White House signaled that the Biden administration will not be swayed to change its policy on the deal.

Ahead of the arrival of the delegation of Israeli senior security officials, White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki on Friday answered “no” when asked at a press briefing whether the visit was likely to change the US administration’s stance on reviving the nuclear deal, to which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is strongly opposed.

How indecent of the Bidenites to proclaim to the Israelis, even before they arrive, in front of the whole world, that there is nothing they can say to the Americans that will change their minds. Their minds are made up. The Americans don’t want to be reminded that just a few months ago they were themselves talking about the need “to lengthen and strengthen” the agreement with Iran. They are in no mood to listen to their closest ally in the Middle East. They don’t want to listen to the Israelis, who know better than anyone what Iran is up to with its nuclear program, understand how it plans to comply, or to pretend to, with the JCPOA, and what it will do in 2030 when it is allowed its “break out” and can manufacture, completely legally, nuclear weapons. They don’t want to listen to the Israelis, even though Israel, not America, is the main target of Iran’s nuclear program. How many times has Iran threatened to destroy the Jewish state? The Bidenites don’t want to hear about it. They don’t want to listen to the Israelis, whose tiny country’s very survival may depend on what agreement is concluded with Iran in Vienna and who, therefore, have beyond all others earned the right to be heard. The indifference of the Biden people to Israel’s attempt to present its arguments against a return to the Iran deal is unspeakable.

Despite Psaki’s statement, Dore Gold, President of the Jerusalem Center of Public Affairs, argued that that “it is important that Israel shares all the relevant intelligence on Iran and articulates what the problem is with negotiating with Iran.”

The most persuasive arguments are made face-to-face,” Gold, who served as Director-General of the Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2015, told The Algemeiner. “In the past Israel and the US had different assumptions on Iranian behavior, which have now become even more pronounced. Iran’s record of compliance with signed agreements is very weak.”

Gold is too optimistic – or perhaps he simply won’t allow himself to believe that the Americans can be so idiotically close-minded.  He’s still talking about the value of making “arguments…face-to-face” but the Americans have already said that nothing that is presented to them, no information the Israelis bring with them about just-uncovered examples of Iranian deception, no news about Iran’s ballistic missile program, or the nuclear facilities just completed deep inside the mountain at Fordow, will change their minds. “Don’t confuse us with facts. Our minds are made up.”

…Michael Oren, Israel’s former Ambassador to the US, told The Algemeiner that he is concerned about the symbolic significance of the Israeli delegation traveling to Washington after the White House comments on Friday.

“This is kind of humiliating after Israel’s important ally in the Middle East said it will not listen. I would be very hesitant in sending this delegation,” Oren commented. “If we are going back to the JCPOA, which is flawed, there could be a very dangerous outcome.”

“There is a lot of visual appearance in this in that it shows that there was consultation with Israelis. We should be very careful [not] to legitimize the agreement,” Oren warned.

Oren is right: the Israelis are being humiliated by Jen Psaki’s unembarrassed acknowledgement that there is nothing the visitors can say, no new information that they may bring, that will change Administration minds. And by agreeing to meet with members of the delegation in Washington, the Biden people – Oren fears – can make it appear to Israel’s American supporters that they did, after all, consult with the Israelis.

…There are ongoing discussions — or negotiations, I should say, that are happening now — they’re indirect, of course — on the potential for a diplomatic path forward on the new — on a nuclear deal,” White House’s Psaki said on Friday. “As it relates to Israel, we have kept them abreast as a key partner of these discussions — or of our intentions, and we will continue to do that on any future visits.”

It is not true that the Bidenites have “kept them [the Israelis] abreast” of what’s been going on in Vienna. A great deal has not been shared, which is one source of Israeli anxiety. Nor has the Biden administration asked for Israel’s opinion on those negotiations, much less allowed any Israeli objections to be taken into account. The Biden administration wants this deal to go through. It will jump through whatever hoops the Iranians hold out. In February, it was still insisting that Iran had to go first, and fully return to the deal, before American sanctions would be lifted. Iran wouldn’t have it, and we no longer hear that condition precedent being mentioned.

Commenting on the ongoing talks in Vienna, Gold noted that “there is a real dilemma, because if you remove sanctions there is a huge windfall of funds that becomes available for terrorist activities in the Middle East and around the world. At least the Biden administration is talking about a longer and stronger deal but I don’t think that the Iranians will agree.”

Gold apparently hasn’t noticed that while the Biden administration did, very early on, talk about the need for a “longer and stronger deal,” it has ceased to mention that requirement altogether. Now it refers vaguely to another deal that might be reached after the return to the JCPOA by both sides is accomplished, but why would Iran at that point, having obtained the lifting of all the American sanctions, feel any pressure to agree to a second deal about ballistic missiles and regional aggression through proxies?

Gold suggested that before sanctions are lifted Iran needs to demonstrate that it has changed direction, that it will not help the Hezbollah in missile inventory, and that it is prepared to confine itself to the terms of a deal.

Dore Gold’s suggestions make sense, but there is not the slightest chance that Iran would agree to any of it, nor that the Biden administration would put the slightest pressure on Iran to accept it. The sanctions will be lifted without any further Iranian concessions on missiles to Hezbollah or anything else; sanctions-lifting will provide Iran with a bonanza calculated to be at least 100 billion dollars, money to spend on weapons for itself and for its proxies in Yemen, Iraq, and Lebanon. Once it has the money, Iran will do what it likes, which means it will violate many of the terms of the JCPOA, just as it did between 2015 and 2018, when Donald Trump put an end to the farce, withdrew from the deal, and clamped crippling sanctions on Iran, that were just starting to have a devastating effect on Iran’s economy when the Biden cavalry came riding to Tehran’s rescue. And Israel will have to recognize that when it comes to foiling Iran’s nuclear ambitions, the Jewish state is now very much on its own.

However, Kelly used an official email address linked to himself, the Guardian reported. The revelation came after a data breach of the Christian crowdfunding site GiveSendGo, which showed official email addresses belonging to many police officers and public officials. The information was shared with the Guardian by the transparency group Distributed Denial of Secrets.

Hizballah accused of turning Lebanon into ‘drug smuggling, terrorism hub’ under ‘Iran occupation’

Saudi Arabia declared last August that Hizballah has destroyed Lebanon — including its “constitutional and state institutions.” Saudi King Salman stated that the only way for Lebanon to break free is to disarm Hizballah. Salman even blamed the Beirut blasts on the “hegemony of Hezbollah, a terrorist organization affiliated with Iran.”

Lebanese authorities are in now evidently in agreement.

Once again, Iran continues to expand its influence throughout the Middle East, and via Hizballah, its influence extends worldwide. No nuclear deal would stop its expansion; in fact, it would have the opposite effect: it would enable hundreds of billions to flow into Iran’s coffers to further expand its nuclear program, as well as its regional and global power.

Adding to the woes of Lebanon stemming from Hizballah’s influence, the country’s farmers fear that “a recent produce ban by Saudi Arabia will be a decisive blow to their livelihoods.” Saudi Arabia has announced “an indefinite ban on Lebanese agricultural products after foiling an attempt to smuggle 5.3 million pills of the illegal amphetamine Captagon hidden in a shipment of pomegranates at Jeddah Port.”

Western leaders should unite against Iran and its proxies. Instead, Iran is haughtily swindling Western leaders into a new nuke deal.

“Saudi And Lebanese Accusations: Hizbullah Is Operating A Network For Smuggling Drugs To Saudi Arabia And The Region; It Has Turned Lebanon Into A Base For Exporting Drugs And Terrorism,” by Z. Harel and H. Varulkar, MEMRI, April 28, 2021:

Introduction

On April 23, 2021, customs authorities at the Saudi port of Jeddah announced that they had thwarted an attempt to smuggle drugs – mainly Captagon (fenethylline hydrochloride) pills, an amphetamine drug popular in the Middle East – in a shipment of pomegranates arriving from Lebanon. Subsequently, the Saudi Interior Ministry announced that beginning April 25, the country would accept no Lebanese imports of agricultural produce. The ministry added that it had previously warned Lebanese authorities about the increase in drug smuggling attempts from its territory, and that the ban would remain in force until the Lebanese authorities “provide satisfactory and documented guarantees that they have taken the necessary steps to stop the systematic smuggling against the kingdom.”[1]

Addressing the increase in smuggling attempts from Lebanon to Saudi Arabia, Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Walid Al-Boukhari tweeted that in the past six years over 600 million pills and hundreds of kilos of hashish from Lebanon had been seized by Saudi authorities, and that the drugs smuggled via this route during that time “could drown the entire Arab world, not just Saudi Arabia.”[2] Additionally, Saudi Interior Minister Prince ‘Abd Al-‘Aziz bin Saud bin Naif tweeted that “the kingdom’s security is a red line.” [3]

On their part, the Lebanese authorities hastened to condemn the drug smuggling from Lebanon, and stressed that they would step up their efforts to prevent further smuggling.[4] In an April 26 meeting convened by Lebanese President Michel ‘Aoun, with Prime Minister Hassan Diab, ministers, and security and customs directors, ‘Aoun stressed that Lebanon was working hard to maintain good relations with the Arab countries and to preserve these countries’ security and stability. Also at the meeting, ‘Aoun called on the country’s security apparatuses to step up the fight against smuggling and those behind it,[5] and a series of measures for increased oversight of agricultural exports was put in place.[6]

As expected, the incident sparked widespread interest in Saudi Arabia. Although top Saudi government officials did not implicate any specific element in Lebanon for the drug shipment, the Saudi press published many articles and op-eds pointing at Hizbullah. Stating that Hizbullah was functioning as an organized crime network and had turned Lebanon into a base for waging direct war on Saudi Arabia, they added that the latest attempt to smuggle drugs into Saudi Arabia was one of many, and that the organization was acting to flood the kingdom with drugs in order to destroy it and bankroll its terror activity in the region.

There was also harsh criticism of Hizbullah in Lebanon, where journalists and politicians accused the organization and its political allies, including President ‘Aoun, of responsibility for drug smuggling and its impact on the country’s agriculture and economy, already in grave crisis. They accused the organization and the groups ruling Lebanon of bringing the country under occupation by Iran, of turning it into a hub for drug smuggling and terrorism, and of starving and weakening the Lebanese people. Some Lebanese politicians even defended the measures taken by the Saudis.

Hizbullah has not yet issued an official response, but articles published on its website and in the Al-Akbar daily, which is close to the organization, denied that Hizbullah was involved in smuggling drugs into Saudi Arabia. They also stressed that Saudi Arabia was falsely accusing Hizbullah in order to harm it and to bend Lebanon to its will. Another claim was that stopping Lebanese agricultural produce from entering Saudi Arabia was a purely political move, and that the Saudis were trying to starve the Lebanese people.

Charges that Hizbullah’s activities are bankrolled by the drug trade are nothing new.[7] A U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) task force has, since 2008, been monitoring a global syndicate created by Hizbullah, with an estimated annual profit of over $1 billion from drugs and weapons.[8] In recent years, massive shipments of drugs smuggled by ship from Syria and Lebanon have been seized across the Mediterranean basin and the Middle East. This should be well known among all Western leaders and citizens alike, but it’s good to see it backed up by an intelligence report. The threat of states such as Iran and Pakistan, and Syria also to a lesser degree, is based in large part on Islamic doctrines of warfare against unbelievers. The chief threat is, of course, Iran: “The German intelligence agency for the state of Bavaria said last week in its new report that the Islamic Republic of Iran has not ceased its drive to obtain weapons of mass destruction during 2020.” Iran has never slowed down, and no deal will stop it. Its violation of the nuclear deal by its own admission is long-established. The whole deal was based on lies.

Iran’s proxy Hizballah also expands Iran’s global reach. The German report specifically lists “additional threats to Bavaria’s democracy” via Hizballah, noting that Hizballah, “the Iranian regime’s chief strategic ally in the Middle East, has 30 members in Bavaria.”

Continuing to clamp down on the activities of Iran and Hizballah globally requires a prioritized followup from democratic countries, which isn’t happening, particularly now with a weakened United States and Canada and a predominantly globalist EU.

Going beyond Bavaria, although “the US, Canada, the Arab League, Israel, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and many other European and Latin American countries classify Hezbollah as a terrorist organization,” Hizballah is still disturbingly active in these countries. For example, while Canada focuses on “Islamophobia,” Hizballah expands its elite operations in the country, and millions of dollars are wired into the country. Similarly, Hizballah has ongoing operations in the UK, in the US, Germany, and in the Netherlands. Being outlawed is merely a start.

The German intelligence agency for the state of Bavaria said last week in its new report that the Islamic Republic of Iran has not ceased its drive to obtain weapons of mass destruction during 2020.

“Proliferation-relevant states like Iran, North Korea, Syria and Pakistan are making efforts to expand their conventional arsenal of weapons through the production or constant modernization of weapons of mass destruction,” wrote the Bavarian Office for the Protection of the Constitution, the formal name for the domestic intelligence agency.

“In order to obtain the necessary know-how and corresponding components, these states are trying to establish business contacts to companies in high-technology countries like Germany,” said the Bavarian intelligence report in its section on weapons of mass destruction.

The German agency is the rough equivalent of the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency).

The intelligence report defines proliferation as “the unauthorized spread of atomic, biological, chemical weapons of mass destruction or the products used for their manufacture as well as the corresponding weapon carrier systems, including the necessary know-how.”

With respect to the section of the report on the Islamic Republic’s espionage activities, the intelligence document stated that “Germany remains in the focus of intelligence activities. This includes information from foreign and security policy as well as business and science. An additional focus [of Iran’s intelligence services] is the observation of, and fight against, opposition groups domestically and abroad.”

The Jerusalem Post reviewed the 380-page intelligence document which contains 28 references to the Islamic Republic. The report lists additional threats to Bavaria’s democracy.

Biden’s Pentagon Denies Veterans Biker Group a Parking Permit for Memorial Day Event – First Time in 32 Years

ABC-7 News in Washington reports the Biden administration has found yet another use for the COVID pandemic.

In South Dakota, Biden’s unity-branded administration is using the pandemic to cancel 4th of July fireworks at Mt. Rushmore. The fact that the pandemic was worse last year, Mt. Rushmore fireworks went forward, and there wasn’t a single case of COVID linked to that event is immaterial.

In the nation’s constitutional capital, which Biden wants to turn into its own state on a par with Texas despite the fact it has fewer people than Austin, Biden’s woke Pentagon has denied AMVETS a parking permit for their Memorial Day ride through the city they put their lives on the line to defend.

COVID is of course the handy excuse.

The Pentagon released the following statement on Friday, leaving the group little time to prepare for an alternative and burying bad news on the weekend:

Unfortunately, the department has disapproved AMVETS permit request. The department took into careful consideration all aspects of AMVETS request, to include the current Health Protection Condition status on the Pentagon Reservation; substantial community transmission of COVID-19 in Arlington County, Virginia; number of Americans fully vaccinated across the nation; nature of this event with its decreased ability to maintain physical distance; and large crowds in one location for an extended period of time. This event draws national attention and participation; therefore the risk of exposure from participants from other communities extends well beyond the National Capital Region.

If COVID-19 conditions permit, the department would gladly consider supporting a future event request from AMVETS, potentially as soon as this Labor Day weekend.

The department looks forward to supporting future events with AMVETS, and as always, we appreciate AMVETS’ support of our veterans, their families, and their communities, including promoting better awareness of veterans’ issues, as well as AMVETS continued support for our missing-in-action service members.

COVID is improving, more of us are vaccinated, life is returning to normal in much of the United States. That doesn’t seem to have influenced the Pentagon’s decision.

The permit denial is actually a revocation, and it comes as much of the rest of the capital is reopening.

The Pentagon continues to decline the I-Team’s request for an on-camera interview. It did admit it revoked a parking permit for AmVets after approving it in March.

The Pentagon’s denial comes on the heels of the Smithsonian announcing last week that it will reopen eight of its facilities to the public in May, starting with the National Air and Space Museum’s Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly on Wednesday, May 5.

Additional museums and the National Zoo will open Friday, May 14, and Friday, May 21. Also on Friday, the United States Holocaust Museum announced that it plans to reopen on Monday, May 17 with reduced visitation, required face coverings, temperature checks, social distancing, and other safety measures.

Veterans are obviously being singled out for denial of service here.

A simple solution presents itself: AMVETS should simply identify as antifa and reapply for the permit. Biden will pretend they don’t exist and no law enforcement agency in any blue city will be empowered by their Democrat politicians to stop the march. Easy peasy.

Sun Tzu wrote, “If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles.” Know him. Know how he thinks. Thwart him.

They should’ve done so as soon as Biden was declared the winner of the 2020 election.

For almost a year the organizers of Rolling To Remember have been waiting for the Pentagon to sign off on a parking permit for a Memorial Day weekend event that will bring in thousands of veterans and their motorcycles to the District.

Two weeks ago, the 7News I-Team reported the U.S. Defense Department was holding up what seems to be a simple decision to allow or deny thousands of military veterans to use its parking lot for a staging area for Rolling To Remember.

It’s the same parking lot the huge event has been using for the past 32 years.

American traditions don’t matter to Biden’s administration or its woke generals. COVID is the catch-all they’ve used to keep church congregations separate, release thousands of criminals from prison, threaten to cancel America’s birthday, and now deny veterans who want to honor our war dead something as simple as a parking permit.

As a veteran, I never thought I’d come to suspect the Pentagon’s devotion to our nation. I literally never thought I’d see the day. But in just 100 days Biden has ushered in quite a bit of change. It’s all absolutely awful, but it’s change.

Prediction: The Pentagon will back down after blowback. But if that happens, no one should forget its initial decision. Denying veterans is Joe Biden and SecDef Lloyd Austin’s gut call. They want Rolling to Remember and anything else that celebrates America forgotten. Change my mind.

Over the past year, Loudoun County Public Schools has become a national story for its implementation of critical race theory. This divisive experiment has resulted in attempts to silence dissent, it has divided the community, and created a culture of bullying in students, teachers, school administrators, and school board members. 

In March of 2021, six members of the Loudoun County School Board were part of a private Facebook group that planned to target parents for opposing critical race theory in the school system. Those school board members did nothing to stop this activity nor did they attempt to communicate to their constituents that this was happening. 

Meanwhile, the school administration sends out public statements about "silencing the opposition," debates firing teachers for providing negative feedback on critical race theory training, proposes unconstitutional dress codes, and refuses to honestly communicate with the public about its implementation of critical race theory.

With school board elections not held until 2023, it is imperative for parents to act now, recall these school board members, and hold new elections that will decide the future of education for our children.

Here are just some of the most recent examples of the incompetence and abuse of power demonstrated by Loudoun County Public Schools:

School board members reportedly targeting parents opposed to critical race theory

A private Facebook group made up of Virginia parents, teachers and school board members is reportedly targeting parents opposed to critical race theory — sparking an investigation by local law enforcement.

The group, which is called “anti-racist parents of Loudoun County,” consists of over 600 members, some of whom are accused of sharing personal information of parents who don’t support the controversial theory, WTOP News reported.

The Loudoun County, Virginia, Public School district has spent $422,500 in taxpayer funds since 2018 on diversity training inspired by critical race theory, which claims racism is inherent in nearly every aspect of America.

What is “offensive” to others is an unclear and subjective standard that could include absolutely anything based on a complainer’s subjective opinion.

An advisory board linked to Virginia’s Loudoun County Public School district (LCPS) demanded that teachers be dismissed if they criticize the district’s equity training inspired by critical race theory. 

Kiara Jennings, who leads LCPS’ Minority Student Achievement Advisory Council (MSAAC), emailed the district’s Superintendent, School Board Chair, Equity Committee, and the NAACP asking that teachers not be allowed to speak out against diversity training, even in private feedback surveys.

Just days after Joe Biden was inaugurated, pro-Erdogan Turkish journalist Hakkı Öcal, according to Ahval News, “highlighted a report on the strong presence of Jews in the cabinet of U.S. President Joe Biden.” The report claimed that there was an “over 50 percent Jewish presence in the new U.S. cabinet,” and pointed Secretary of State Antony Blinken and CIA Deputy Director David Cohen, among others. But Öcal was off base: among Biden’s handlers, Jewish and non-Jewish, there are few, if any, staunch friends of Israel. After just a few months in office, it was clear that Joe Biden’s handlers’ administration was shaping up to be the most anti-Israel presidency since the founding of the modern State of Israel.

Robert Malley, Special Envoy to Iran, has become notorious over the years for his support for Iran’s Islamic regime and pronounced distaste for Israel. The Washington Times revealed in February 2021 that back in July 2019, “Iran’s smooth, English-speaking foreign minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, met with Robert Malley, who was President Obama’s Middle East adviser, in an apparent bid to undermine the Trump team and lay the groundwork for post-Trump relations.”

Malley was a good choice for such an assignment. An Israeli security official noted in February 2008 that Malley “has expressed sympathy to Hamas and Hizbullah and offered accounts of Israeli-Palestinian negotiations that don’t jibe with the facts.” Obama dropped Malley in May 2008 after it came to light that he had met with representatives of Hamas, but six months later sent him as an envoy to Egypt and Syria.

Meanwhile, Reema Dodin is a deputy director of the White House Office of Legislative Affairs. According to the Jerusalem Post, “during the Second Intifada, in 2002, Dodin spoke about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict with residents of Lodi, California, saying that ‘suicide bombers were the last resort of a desperate people.’” Also, “in 2001, Dodin took part in a demonstration at UC Berkeley calling for the university to divest from Israel….The demonstrators compared Israel to apartheid South Africa.”

In a similar vein, Biden’s handlers appointed Maher Bitar the Senior Director for Intelligence on the National Security Council. In 2006, while a student at Georgetown University, Bitar was a member of the executive board of the viciously pro-jihad, anti-Israel Students for Justice in Palestine, and was seen dancing in front of a banner that said “Divest from Israel Apartheid.”

The Deputy Secretary of State is Wendy Sherman, who was the lead negotiator of Barack Obama’s disastrous nuclear deal with Iran. The State Department’s undersecretary for civilian security, democracy and human rights is Uzra Zeya. According to the Jewish News Service, Zeya “worked for the magazine Washington Report on Middle East Affairs and its publishing group, American Educational Trust. The Washington Report has questioned the loyalty American Jews have to the United States; published accusations against the ‘Jewish lobby’; claimed American Jews control the media; and accused the Mossad of perpetrating the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy and the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.”

The Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Israel-Palestine is Hady Amr. In an unhinged 2002 rant, Amr repeated Palestinian jihad propaganda, declaring: “I have news for every Israeli: a very large proportion of the more than 150 million children and youth in the Arab World now have televisions, and they will never, never forget what the Israeli people, the Israeli military and Israeli democracy have done to Palestinian children.”

Undersecretary of Defense for Policy is Colin Kahl. According to Israel Hayom, “Kahl has quite the anti-Israel record. He thinks the bombing of the nuclear reactor in Iraq was 1981 was a mistake. In 2012, he acted to remove recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital from the Democratic party’s platform. In 2015, he was among those to formulate the Iran nuclear deal. In 2016, at the end of his term, then-US President Barack Obama tasked him with enlisting support for the anti-Israel UN Security Council Resolution 2334 that determined Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria were a violation of international law.”

Have Biden’s handlers appointed a balancing group of strong supporters of Israel, who will move to prevent this unsavory group (which is larger than just those named here) from disrupting America’s relationship with its strongest, most reliable ally in the West? Is there any brake to the ability of the anti-Israel group in Biden’s administration to force Israel to make potentially life-threatening concessions to the Palestinian jihad force. The answer to both questions is no.

LGBT Activists Are Taking Aim at Christianity Itself

Last month, a group of 33 current and former students at federally-funded Christian colleges and universities launched a historic assault on religious freedom. They sued the Department of Education (DoE) under President Joe Biden, demanding that the DoE drop the religious exemption to Title IX. This move would force LGBT orthodoxy on Christian colleges, but it also attacks a central evangelical Christian teaching.

“The law does not recognize ‘love the sinner, hate the sin,'” the students wrote in the lawsuit.

While the phrase “love the sinner, hate the sin” does not appear in the Old or New Testaments, it follows logically from the Bible and it forms an essential part of evangelical Christian ethics. Since “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23), God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem humanity. All Christians are redeemed sinners. While Jesus asks His disciples to preach the gospel and “make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:18-20), that does not mean Christians are morally superior to non-Christians.

Of course, as Christians make attempts to follow Jesus, with the help of the Holy Spirit, they will improve morally. But that does not give Christians license to look down on non-Christians. We are saved only by the grace of God.

In fact, Jesus commands His disciples to love and to pray for their enemies, whatever their moral state (Matthew 5:43-47). He also commands that we sin no more, and teach others to stop sinning. Christians must love others without condoning their sinful actions.

Therefore, “love the sinner, hate the sin” is a natural application of the gospel in the moral lives of Christians.

Yet the lawsuit takes direct aim at this moral framework, and its argument on this issue is central to the legal claim.

“The law does not recognize an identity/conduct distinction. The law does not recognize ‘love the sinner, hate the sin.’ Policies and laws targeting ‘homosexual conduct’ or ‘transgender conduct’ in fact target LGBTQ+ identity,” the lawsuit claims.

Christian colleges and universities often use the “love the sinner, hate the sin” distinction to explain that they are open to students with LGBT identities even though they ask their students to sign a code of conduct barring homosexual activity (and heterosexual activity outside of marriage).

It is not sinful to experience same-sex attraction or gender dysphoria (the condition of persistently identifying with the gender opposite a person’s biological sex), but acting on those impulses is sinful. To some degree, a condition/conduct distinction is essential to Christian teaching. The difficulty comes when sexual orientation or gender identity become enshrined as protected statuses and essential identity markers, thus blurring the distinction between impulses and conduct.

Christianity teaches that all identities are secondary to a Christian’s identity as a sinner redeemed by Jesus Christ. This world is not our home, and our ultimate hope is in God, not in fulfillment here on earth. That does not mean we are not male or female, American or Peruvian, Coloradan or Virginian, et cetera. It just means that all lesser identities must yield the key identity at the heart of our being and future.

It is not easy to maintain that kind of perspective, and Christians should be humble about our own failures. But it makes sense for Christian institutions to require students and faculty to follow biblical morality, as that is essential for them to achieve their purposes as Christian colleges and universities.

Biden Speech Frames Jan. 6 as “Worst Attack on Democracy Since the Civil War”; Twitter Explodes

Nearly 100 days into his presidency, Biden made his first address to a joint session of Congress on Wednesday. His speech — apparently so rousing his words lulled Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) to sleep — drew an estimated 26.9 million viewers, according to Deadline, citing Nielsen figures. These numbers reflect a sharp decline from the 47.7 million who watched President Trump’s first speech to a joint session on February 28, 2017.

Biden’s opening remarks revolved around themes of “crisis and opportunity,” both of which he and his administration are extremely familiar. He would go on to discuss the coronavirus crisis, his new infrastructure plan, and the blight of America’s systemic racism, ending on a hopeful note that “Today, America is rising anew.”

“Tonight, I come to talk about crisis and opportunity. About rebuilding a nation, revitalizing our democracy, and winning the future for America,” stated Biden.

Rebuilding America, Biden-style, is really about reimagining her 244-year history and tearing down her monumental achievements of freedom and justice for all. His trillion-dollar “infrastructure plan,” dubbed the American Jobs Plan, is more accurately a complete reinvention of the U.S. economic system, placing the political elite in positions of power and incredible wealth, while relegating the rest of Americans into abject poverty.

Mere minutes into the hour-plus-long address (after a sappy recollection of taking the oath of office and placing his hand on the family Bible) came Biden’s first lie. In the president’s own words:

One hundred days since I took the oath of office and lifted my hand on to our family Bible, and inherited a nation, we all did, that was in crisis. The worst pandemic in a century, the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War.

First, Biden did not “inherit a nation in crisis.” Moreover, “attack,” “siege,” “insurrection,” these are the labels the establishment media has applied to the breach of the U.S. Capitol on January 6, though the majority of “heinous” crimes committed that day were trespassing and disorderly conduct. Biden’s comparison of selfie-taking Trump supporters with a war that took half a million lives to preserve the Union is appalling. And the reality of January 6 tells another story entirely. Currently, dozens of defenders of liberty, now known as “insurrectionists,” are deteriorating in solitary confinement and denied due process, treated as terrorists yet convicted of no crime. Such actions seem to be fully endorsed by the words of the president.

Second, America is not a democracy but a Constitutional Republic. Major contributions to the floundering economy are catastrophic Democrat-led policy responses to a highly survivable and treatable virus, which have decimated livelihoods in lockdown states such as California, New York, and Oregon.

Biden’s comments sparked outrage on Twitter, as lovers of America took to the social-media platform to respond to the propaganda-laden remarks:

“January 6 was worse than 9/11? Or Pearl Harbor?” tweeted journalist Glenn Greenwald.

He continued, “Or the Oklahoma City bombing? Or the dismantling of civil liberties in the name of the Cold War and War on Terror? Or the mass surveillance program secretly and illegally implemented by NSA aimed at US citizens?”

A tweet from the Federalist’s Mollie Hemingway read: “Biden asserts riot was a worse attack than various bombings and deadly attacks on the Capitol, deadly Summer of Rage with its attacks on the WH and federal court buildings, four presidential assassinations, another five assassination attempts, Pearl Harbor, and 9/11. OK.”

One wonders if leftists have any understanding of what really took place on 9/11 or at Pearl Harbor, as Biden’s comments insinuate such atrocities were akin to people milling around, taking selfies in the Capitol building. Among the more than 400 arrested for their participation in the protests, none have been charged with sedition, but not for a lack of trying on the part of the DOJ and FBI.

Author and radio talk-show host Eric Metaxas posted this tweet: “FACT: The ‘worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War’ was when Democrats STOLE an ELECTION from #WeThePeople—and then dared to pretend WE were the threat to democracy. Shame on them. They will not get away with this. Many are praying. God sees.”

Psalm 52. Yes, God sees. Still, Biden and many on the progressive left have accused Trump of incitement and believe that the “cult of Trumpsters” can turn violent at the least provocation. By this provoking, the people may rise up, and as the socialist regimes of the Soviet Union, China, Cambodia, and Cuba, the American leftist government believes they indeed could squash such a revolution. It is what they are waiting for. Conservatives must not be fooled.
