AOC Calls on House Sergeant at Arms to Protect Her From Marjorie Taylor Greene's Insults

GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene knows exactly how to get under the skin of her Democratic colleagues in the House. She knows which buttons to press and the tone of voice she should use when calling them out.

Sometimes, she makes it so uncomfortable for Democrats that they prefer keeping their distance from her. A neighboring congresswoman, Marjorie Newman, put an LGBTQ flag on her office door, which led to MTG putting a sign up directly across the hallway: “There are TWO genders. MALE & FEMALE. Trust the Science!” Newman didn’t appreciate the sentiment given that she has a transgender child.

That MTG is a bomb-thrower is a given. So the epic confrontation between Greene and the Democrat’s first-string bomb-thrower Rep. Ocasio-Cortez in the halls of the Capitol was one for the history books.

It got so uncomfortable for AOC that she asked the “leadership and the Sergeant at Arms” to take real steps to make Congress a safe, civil place for all Members and staff — especially as many offices are discussing reopening.”

“Civility”? Coming from the woman who accused Donald Trump of running “concentration camps” at the border? It doesn’t get much more incendiary than that.

Anyway, the confrontation was actually pretty one-sided with MTG challenging AOC to a debate on global warming and accusing her of supporting “terrorists.”

Two Washington Post reporters witnessed Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.) exit the House chamber late Wednesday afternoon ahead of Greene (Ga.), who shouted “Hey Alexandria” twice in an effort to get her attention. When Ocasio-Cortez did not stop walking, Greene picked up her pace and began shouting at her and asking why she supports antifa, a loosely knit group of far-left activists, and Black Lives Matter, falsely labeling them “terrorist” groups. Greene also shouted that Ocasio-Cortez was failing to defend her “radical socialist” beliefs by declining to publicly debate the freshman from Georgia.

“You don’t care about the American people,” Greene shouted. “Why do you support terrorists and antifa?”

“Terrorist” is a subjective description of both Antifa and Black Lives Matter. There is no national or international designation of either group as “terrorists.” But instead of walking away, why didn’t AOC at least talk to MTG? No TV cameras, I guess.

Ocasio-Cortez did not stop to answer Greene, only turning around once and throwing her hands in the air in an exasperated motion. The two reporters were not close enough to hear what the New York congresswoman said, and her office declined to discuss her specific response.

“Representative Greene tried to begin an argument with Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez and when Rep. Ocasio-Cortez tried to walk away, Congresswoman Greene began screaming and called Rep. Ocasio-Cortez a terrorist sympathizer,” Ocasio-Cortez spokeswoman Lauren Hitt said in a statement. “We hope leadership and the Sergeant at Arms will take real steps to make Congress a safe, civil place for all Members and staff — especially as many offices are discussing reopening. One Member has already been forced to relocate her office due to Congresswoman Greene’s attacks.”

“She’s a chicken, she doesn’t want to debate the Green New Deal,” Greene told reporters. “These members are cowards. They need to defend their legislation to the people. That’s pathetic.”

AOC would much rather send out 146-character hand grenades on Twitter than actually engage in any meaningful discussion. And it should go without saying that AOC is in absolutely no danger from Rep. Greene so why is she calling on the Sergeant at Arms to protect her?

Democrats voted Greene out of committee assignments because of “threats” she supposedly made to other members. Instead, they were punishing Republicans for not having public beheadings of members who voted not to certify the election results and MTG conveniently presented herself for execution because of her incendiary comments.

The Democrats have AOC. Republicans have MTG. Both sides raise massive amounts of money off of the perceived evil of the other. But wouldn’t you love to see a real debate between the two?

Parents and citizens are facing off against wealthy corporations and radical LGBT militants in the battle to stop gruesome “sex-change” procedures (including castration and genital mutilation) being performed on children.

As we’ve reported, our Texas MassResistance chapter has been relentlessly lobbying at the Texas State Capitol and across the state to get this ban passed in the current session. People everywhere are outraged that children are being disfigured for life and sterilized to please a radical ideology.

The legislative session at the Texas State Capitol finishes at the end of May. There are currently two bills in play (dubbed the “Save James” bills):

  • SB 1646 (Senate) is a very strong bill. It amends the criminal code definition of “child abuse” to include administering or supplying of puberty blockers or cross-sex hormones to a child, or performing surgery on a child, for the purpose of gender transitioning or gender reassignment.
  • HB 1399 (House) is also important. It would prohibit professional liability insurance from covering medical procedures and treatments for gender transitioning or gender reassignment for children.

On April 28, SB 1646 passed the Texas Senate by a party-line vote, and has been sent to the House, where it must pass before the end of the month. That will probably be the big battle.

The immediate problem is HB 1399. It needs to pass the House this week to be able to go forward to the Senate. But it’s been purposefully stalled in the “Calendar Committee” from coming to a vote. The fight to move it forward has gotten nasty!

This past week: Fighting to keep HB 1399 alive

This past week, Texas MassResistance brought together several other pro-family groups in Texas and organized a full-court press in the State Capitol. Texas MassResistance Director Tracy Shannon, Asst. Director Kevin, and others have been going door to door in the Legislature. Other parents have been holding demonstrations in the hallways to make sure this is on everyone’s mind.

What’s going on behind the scenes

On paper, all this should not be difficult to get passed. The Texas Legislature has a reputation for being one of the most conservative in the country, and the ban is supported by citizens overwhelmingly, especially in conservative districts.

But these ghoulish “sex-change” procedures generate big money for hospitals and “gender clinics.” And the problem is growing. There are now 17 “gender clinics” for children in Texas. There were only 2 or 3 just a few years ago.

The concept of “transitioning” kids is also supported by big corporations like Amazon, HP, and others that have been moving into Texas – as well as the LGBT movement that continues to be obsessed with children. These groups are also very involved in the fight in Texas.

According to reports, many corporations have been threatening their donations to the GOP leadership and are putting other pressure on them. As a result, the Governor, Lt. Governor, and House Speaker have in turn been pressuring other GOP legislative leaders (especially in the House) to make sure the bills don’t pass.

Thus, many key “conservative” Texas Republican legislators are playing “kabuki theater” with their constituents. They publicly support these bills. Many have even co-sponsored them. But in the background they are slow-walking them in the “Calendar Committee” and other venues so they’ll never come up for a House vote. That way they can tell their constituents, “I advocated for these bills,” and at the same time keep the business interests happy. It’s a disgusting sham, but not uncommon in politics.

(At the same time that HB 1399 has been stalling, frivolous bills like making Dr. Pepper the official state soft drink are moving forward with ease.)

But our Texas MassResistance parents and activists are on to this fraud. They have been directly confronting the key “conservative” legislators and demanding that they stand up for the people, not the evil corporations. They’ve even been threatening to “primary” them in the next election – with real conservatives. Needless to say, the politicians don’t like that. But that’s what often gets results.

Final thoughts

Words cannot describe how disgusting it is that corporations would put so much effort into continuing these hideous treatments on children – and that so-called “conservative” legislators would cave in. But our Texas MassResistance parents and citizens are not standing for this. They’re taking off the gloves and giving the legislators treatment they aren’t used to from their constituents.

There are two more weeks to go. We’ll keep up the fight!

On November 3rd, 2020, we reelected President Trump in a landslide. When the communist Democrats and their international fellow travelers stole the election from him in the early morning hours of Wednesday, November 4th, we knew the Usurper China Joe’s regime would take a wrecking ball to our nation and freedoms, but I don’t know that we imagined the stunning speed with which the destroyers would work.

The handlers of the mentally faltering Joe Biden had a slew of dictatorial executive orders ready for him to sign right away, orders aimed at quickly dismantling some of the excellent, pro-freedom, pro-American accomplishments of the Trump administration, and resuming the despotic, anti-American schemes of the Obama administration. The predictions conservatives made are coming to pass at warp speed.

Just a partial list here: The communist Democrats are going after our dwindling freedoms and wealth with all the horrible policies of the so-called “Green New Deal.” They’re working to destroy the suburbs. They’re targeting our Second Amendment rights. They’re continuing the abolition of our freedom of speech through their proxies of “Big Tech,” corporate communism and academia. They’re working to destroy law and order and our police forces. They’ve busted our southern border wide open to untold numbers of alien criminals. They’re working to nationalize elections in order to cement the methods of fraud that led to the 2020 election heist. They’re aiming to pack the Supreme Court with communist activists. They want to unconstitutionally create a new state of Washington D.C., in order to solidify Democrat power in perpetuity.

They’re doubling and tripling down on the psychological fear operation of the COVID-19 scamdemic, with its attendant bunk-science-based mask despotism, lockdowns, people separation, and bogus case and death numbers. This wicked scheme has enabled the communist left to destroy a countless number of lives, small businesses and freedoms. With the outrageous spending on unemployment payments—now paying people to not work—they’ve created the additional problem of a shortage of manpower in the workforce. Business owners are unable to attract help because the wages they pay can’t compete with the higher amount of taxpayer money handouts from the federal government.

These things are just the surface of what’s happening. We can’t keep up with it all. The communist Democrats now in power are on a seek-and-destroy mission of the United States of America. They’re coming off of a four-year rage bender against President Trump and his supporters, and they’re burning will hell’s fury to tear down our once-free Republic and replace it with a dystopian nightmare. One of their goals is to de-industrialize our nation, sending us back the dark ages—literally. Just look at their insane, environmentalist whacko “green” policy schemes to see this. The worst days of our nation and world are flying toward us.

There are still many people who hold out hope that certain things will happen to restore our free Republic, things like election reform, taking back Congress in 2022, President Trump being declared the rightful winner after election and ballot audits, or even a military coup to depose the usurper in the White House. I don’t think any of those things will happen. I believe our elections are done, and will only be a charade from now on. Nor will the communists now in power allow President Trump to be declared the rightful 2020 winner, even though he was.

We can only imagine the unspeakably bad times ahead as we watch our nation, economy and freedoms crumble, and likely much more—danger to our food and water supply, power grid, and also the potential for the dollar’s crash and inflation that we’ve never seen in this nation. And while the communist destruction may seem needless, because we know the solutions that should stop this tyrannical madness and bring back freedom and prosperity, we must realize that there is a higher reality at work.

There is no way we can make sense of anything done by the communists (which includes more than a few “Republicans”), unless we consider the spiritual aspect of it and understand that God is not mocked. Whatever a man (or a nation) sows, that is what he reaps. Our nation is horribly bent with sin and corruption, and it’s deeply drenched in innocent blood. A nation that engages in child sacrifice is on borrowed time. Again, God is not mocked. Many times in the Old Testament, Israel, our example, is turned over by God to their enemies when they chose wickedness. We have done the same, and we should not be surprised when our nation’s enemies, within and without, are inflamed with hellish passion for our destruction and are given the power to accomplish it.

Our physical world is a shadow of the real one, which is spiritual and eternal. The powers of good and evil are in a constant battle for the souls of men, although the war for the world was fought and won, once for all, by Jesus at the cross. What lies ahead is the last day of this lost and dying world, and Jesus has warned us that they will be the worst the world has ever seen, that unless He shortens those days (which He will), no one would survive.

The point of this column about the certainty of a dreadful dystopian future for the United States and the world is to tell you that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, Who IS God, is the only hope each of us has, the only source of life, truth, wisdom, knowledge, peace and salvation. Without Him, we will forever suffer torment, but not be dead. With Him, we will live forever in glory. He gave His sinless life for us all because He loves us with an unfathomable love. Please believe, grab a Bible, read and seek Him for understanding of this while you can still find Him. In these coming horrible days, you will want to belong to Him. Let Him save you and take care of you, no matter how bad the world gets.
