Betsy DeVos Net Worth

At the moment, Betsy DeVos net worth is estimated to be $1.5 billion. Her family is a constant member on the list of 100 wealthiest families in America. She earned most of her wealth from the family business and the current political position. One interesting detail is that she owns a luxurious, $40 million yacht.

During his Fourth of July speech at Mount Rushmore, President Trump criticized schools for teaching a view of American history that leads children to hate their own country:

“The violent mayhem we have seen in our streets and cities that are run by liberal Democrats in every case is the predictable result of years of extreme indoctrination, and bias in education, journalism, and other cultural institutions. Against every law of society and nature, our children are taught in school to hate their own country and to believe that the men and women who built it weren’t heroes but villains. The radical view of American history is a web of lies.”

As a parent, I can tell you he is not wrong. I can remember when one of my children came home with the book Lies My Teacher Told Me, Everything Your American History Book Got Wrong. After flipping through the text, I was furious. This book is touted as a non-partisan tome, yet it highlighted the worst chapters of our history, taking the dimmest possible view of everything.

Are there portions of history that are difficult to look at or understand? Absolutely. Does that mean we should take a dim view of the ideals that have given more freedom to more people from around the globe than any other? Absolutely not. The assignment of this book marks the moment when I started to engage in some necessary reprogramming.

By sheer luck, my younger children had a staunch libertarian teacher for American Government in high school. They got an excellent textual understanding of our founding documents and got exposed to the Federalist Papers. They like the play Hamilton, but they know there is a significant amount of license taken with the presentation of the history.

If we are going to have government-funded education, Republican administrations should take some bold steps to reform it. Taxpayers should not be funding a system that leads to another generation of children who take a dim view of America as the singular global villain.

This view makes them more willing to accept the premise of managed decline that globalists have fed us for the last thirty years. The same premise they are ramping up in programs like The Great Reset from the World Economic Forum. Taking the long view, that is not the country we want our grandchildren and great-grandchildren inheriting.

Here a few ideas that may be considered radical, but we should not shy away from insisting our schools function in the national interest.

Trump Eviscerates the ‘Web of Lies’ Behind the ‘Angry Mob,’ Defends Mount Rushmore for Fourth of July

K-12 Curriculum

The K-12 curriculum is an excellent place to start. The DOE under Secretary Betsy DeVos should immediately identify history texts written for the Howard Zinn view of history and use funding as leverage to get schools to stop using them. Mary Grabar’s Debunking Howard Zinn makes a case for eliminating his books from our classrooms.

Howard Zinn’s A People’s History of the United States has sold more than 2.5 million copies. It is pushed by Hollywood celebrities, defended by university professors who know better, and assigned in high school and college classrooms to teach students that American history is nothing more than a litany of oppression, slavery, and exploitation.

Next, use funding leverage again to get the horrific 1619 Project out of our schools. Professors of history from the right and the left have criticized the assertions of the project. The New York Timeseven ignored the fact-checker the paper employed. The project leader Nikole Hannah-Jones is a far-left radical whose recent commentary on riots and looting prove the thesis. She asserts the objections to her project are based on differences in opinion among black and white historians. However, she has also publicly admitted she had overstated her premise. Yet, outrageously, her project is being published as a book, and schools are being encouraged to teach it.

Then make any funds for school construction contingent on states and cities removing limits on the number of charter schools that can form. Economist Thomas Sowell makes an indisputable case for charter schools in his latest book Charter Schools and their Enemies. He asserts that arbitrary limits on these institutions disadvantage students in underperforming districts. President Trump has called school choice the civil rights issue of our time, and Secretary DeVos is a champion as well. Take bold action.

Higher Education

At the collegiate level, use federal student loan programs to support STEM programs and other skills needed by the labor market. Choke the grievance studies departments out of existence or let the elite institutions that spawned them fund them out of their endowments. These fields make our children easier to radicalize. Note that many of the DOJ arrests related to recent riots involve people 25 and younger.

Finally, the primary purpose of a public education system should be to provide a qualified labor force to the labor market. Let’s reconsider merging those departments as former OMB Director Mick Mulvaney proposed. Taking a long-term view of K-12 education and how it needs to evolve to prepare children for careers is more than necessary. It would also help accelerate improvement to the technical school programs that launched with a public-private partnership through the Department of Labor in 2019. Robust apprenticeships and trade programs will help reduce the student debt problem going forward.

Public education should serve the national interest by preparing a workforce invested in our nation’s success. The Trump administration and Secretary DeVos should develop a robust plan to refocus the department on this central mission.

ALERT: Democratic Socialists of America Declare War – ‘Violence is part of all successful protest movements’

The Portland branch of America’s largest Marxist organization, the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) has been highly active in the Portland riots, and openly condones violence as a “part of all successful protest movements.” Portland DSA has formed a dangerous coalition with Antifa rioters and the Hamas-linked Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR).

Portland DSA is deeply involved in the riots that have been terrorizing the town. They have also collaborated with the Portland chapter of CAIR to slander police officers ironically as being “violent.”

At a DSA convention last year, DSA passed a resolution to unite with Antifa as reported at RAIR Foundation USA. Their resolution, to “create a national working group dedicated to antifascist organizing,” explains: “as the most prominent and mainstream socialist organization in the USA, [DSA] is uniquely positioned to promote mainstream acceptance of antifascism as a viable tactic.”

See just some of their tweets promoting violence:

Like the other DSA chapters across America, the Portland chapter is very active in the community and are often successful in accomplishing their subversive goals. For example, as reported at RAIR Foundation USA, the Portland DSA was pivotal in the Portland Trail Blazers “decision to end their six-year partnership with Oregon-based Leupold & Stevens, who manufactures equipment used by police and military, including the Israel Defense Forces.”

DSA Portland Meets to Discuss Universal Preschool

The Portland DSA is hard at work to push their “universal preschool” initiative “for every child in Multnomah County” as reported at RAIR. During their aforementioned convention, the DSA resolved to spend tens of thousands of dollars to support universal childcare: “…we must begin educating and valuing the input of the next generation of Democratic Socialists.” Portland DSA has a very polished website to promote the initiative.

The Southern Poverty Law Center asserts that President Trump, law enforcement and Kyle Rittenhouse are to blame for the violence that took place in Kenosha, Wisconsin last month. This, despite the fact that violence has greatly diminished since the President sent the National Guard to the embattled town. By contrast, the SPLC spoke favorably of Antifa and group called “Movement for Black Lives,” a communist-tied coalition deeply involved in the activism across the country.

The SPLC doubled down on the ridiculous, demonstrably false premise that black Americans are being slaughtered by police officers, and that the motivation is racism. Instead, the SPLC blames “far right actors” for violence such as Kyle Rittenhouse, a 17-year-old teenager who by all accounts defended himself during the chaos, resulting in the death of two Antifa rioters Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber.

The SPLC also laughably claimed that there should be “a de-escalation of law enforcement tactics nationwide” in order to stop violence.

SPLC on Antifa and the Communist-Tied ‘Movement for Black Lives

The SPLC repeatedly cited an organization responsible for much of the activism in America. The SPLC is trying to distance the “coalition group” named the “Movement for Black Lives” from the violence, claiming that the “random destruction, opportunistic theft and righteous anger at police violence” are “separate and distinct from the Movement for Black Lives.”

But research from author and filmmaker Trevor Loudon contradicts the narrative that the Movement for Black Lives is peaceful. According to his research, the group is infested with communists who want to destroy America.

The SPLC engages in mental gymnastics over Antifa, saying that there is “a far-right preoccupation” over their violent tactics. The SPLC downplayed Antifa’s clear involvement in the rioting over the past few months, stating that “the threat of antifa has been a favorite stalking horse of white nationalist groups for years.”

No More Violence in Kenosha

Despite the SPLC’s assertions that law enforcement is somehow responsible for riots across America, the violence in Kenosha has decreased immeasurably since August 26th, when President Donald Trump sent in the National Guard after hard left Governor Tony Evers finally listened to the pleas of the citizens.

In fact, the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department posted a Media Release on Thursday which stated in part:

“As of today September 3rd, 2020 Kenosha County has gone 8 days and nights with relatively peaceful activity.”

What stopped the violence if not the reinforcements sent by President Trump?

The Southern Poverty Law Center despite being highly partisan, are still cited regularly by the left-wing media, are used to deplatform conservative groups they deem to be hateful, and are actively indoctrinating children.

Ohio Interim Director of Health Lance M. Himes

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

As our long national nightmare of “15 days to flatten the curve” drags into its sixth (sixth!) month, many of our nation’s governors and bureaucrats are inventing new ways to wield their power.

On August 31, without much fanfare and with almost no news coverage, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine (R-Lost His Way) ordered Interim Director of Health Lance M. Himes to amend the insidious (and unconstitutional) health order the state’s citizens have been suffering under since March to create what amounts to FEMA camps. The order purports to “avoid an imminent threat with a high probability of widespread exposure to COVID-19 with a significant risk of substantial harm to a large number of people in the general population, including the elderly and people with weakened immune systems and chronic medical conditions.”

Never mind that deaths and hospitalizations have been on the decline in Ohio since July 1.

DeWine has been using an archaic sentence in the Ohio Revised Code, which gives the health director “ultimate authority” during a pandemic, to order everything from shutdowns to a statewide mask order to school closings. Several of these orders have been overturned by judgeswho have ruled them unconstitutional, but that hasn’t stopped DeWine from continuing to pile more orders onto the original abomination.

The latest order involves the construction and use of what are essentially FEMA camps to isolate individuals “who are unable to safely self-quarantine in their place of residence and to isolate those diagnosed with or showing symptoms of COVID-19.”

The order gives examples of the circumstances that might lead to confinement (internment?) in a camp.

Examples of the types of persons included in this order are those who test positive for COVID-19 who do not require hospitalization but need isolation (including those exiting from hospitals); those who have been exposed to COVID-19 who do not require hospitalization; and asymptomatic high-risk individuals needing social distancing as a precautionary measure.

The language in the order mirrors the text of a Frequently Asked Questions section on FEMA’s website about non-congregate sheltering, outlining the agency’s support for such measures.

The State of Ohio, and likely many other states, entered into an agreement with FEMA in March, “authorizing applicants to apply for emergency protective measures including non-congregate sheltering.”

Whether or not individuals testing positive for COVID-19 will be required to “shelter” in these camps is to be “determined by a local public health official’s direction or guidance and should be based on individual needs.”

The order is vague enough to give local mini-dictators plenty of reason to believe they have the power to order people into these camps… er… shelters.

DeWine plans to make these facilities a reality by ordering the Ohio Emergency Management Agency (EMA) to:

…secure the necessary approvals for the use of non-congregate sheltering statewide and local government agencies should take all necessary actions to identify both public and private facilities, secure available space, and enter into any contracts or mutual aid agreements that may be necessary to procure, equip, and operate non-congregate shelters throughout the state. In the event state officials determine there is a need for the state to operate a non-congregate shelter, the Ohio EMA shall coordinate with the appropriate state entities.

Where will these camps, if they become necessary, be set up? Some will be located on the campuses of public colleges and universities, where property will be, essentially, commandeered by the state, in an effort to isolate COVID-positive cases.

Public colleges and universities are directed to make available vacant grounds, buildings, and facilities of such college or university as determined to be necessary and suitable after reasonable consultation between the respective college or university officials and the local board of health, Ohio EMA, or county emergency management agency for temporary use as non-congregate sheltering to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The colleges and universities have been ordered to negotiate mutual aid agreements with local boards of health, Ohio EMA, and/or county emergency management agencies. and schools are further ordered to “impose reasonable restrictions on the use of and access to the property and facilities.” (One can only hope the schools will decide to designate the sections of their campuses set aside for safe spaces for the new FEMA camps.)

State Rep. Candace Keller, a Republican, wants to know how DeWine plans to pay for the state’s share of these facilities, seeing as there’s no line-item in the budget for them. But as we’ve seen, the governor doesn’t need the legislature to enact his orders—he’s bypassed them every step of the way with his (did I mention they’re unconstitutional?) health department diktats.

This order comes as deaths and hospitalizations for COVID-19 have been in decline in Ohio:

(Ohio Department of Health data)

While there have been localized spikes in the number of cases (DeWine blames people going to church and attending family gatherings), the number of people dying or needing hospitalization in Ohio as a result of the COVID-19 virus has plummeted. That hasn’t stopped DeWine from increasing the restrictions on Ohio citizens, including a statewide mask order that, inexplicably, came as deaths and hospitalizations were on the decline in the state.

And now he’s ordering that our poop be monitored for outbreaks of COVID-19. If you had any illusions that these overwrought orders would be ending anytime soon, I’m sorry to disappoint you. We sailed right past “15 days to flatten the curve” in March and have now entered the phase where we are being told not to expect to return to any sense of normalcy until the coronavirus is all but eradicated from the earth.

“All Brothers: On Fraternity and Social Friendship”

Pope Francis’ new encyclical, Fratelli tutti: sulla fraternità e l’amicizia sociale (“All Brothers: On Fraternity and Social Friendship”) will be issued on October 3, the Vatican confirmed Saturday. According to Church Militant, the encyclical is “a sequel to his controversial Abu Dhabi pact with Grand Imam Ahmad al-Tayyeb last year, and will cite Abu Mazen [Mahmoud Abbas], a Palestinian backer of terrorism, as an example of ‘peace’ and ‘fraternity.’” No, this is not the Babylon Bee; this is real.

It gets even worse. According to Vatican News, “The theme of fraternity is also present in [the Pope’s] constant embrace of migrants, epitomized in his pastoral visit to Lampedusa. His signing of the Document on Human Fraternity in Abu Dhabi in 2019 marks one more example of Pope Francis’ dedication to promoting brotherly love.”

Brotherly love. As I told Church Militant, Mahmoud Abbas has made it abundantly clear over the years that he doesn’t want peace, but the total destruction of Israel as a Jewish state and the eradication of all Jews from the region. After two jihad groups, the Mourabitoun and the Mourabitat, began violent riots on the Temple Mount in September 2015, he applauded: “We bless you; we bless the Mourabitoun and the Mourabitat. We welcome every drop of blood spilled in Jerusalem. This is pure blood, clean blood, blood on its way to Allah. With the help of Allah, every shaheed (martyr) will be in heaven, and every wounded will get his reward. All of their steps, we will not allow them. All these divisions, Al-Aqsa is ours, and the (Church of the) Holy Sepulcher is ours, everything is ours, all ours. They (the Jews) have no right to desecrate them with their filthy feet and we won’t allow them to.”

Abbas envisions the total expulsion of Jews from a Palestinian state: “In a final resolution, we would not see the presence of a single Israeli – civilian or soldier – on our lands.” And as for regarding all human beings as brothers, both Sunni and Shi’ite Islam teach that the lives of non-Muslims are not worth as much as the lives of Muslims. Reliance of the Traveller, a classic Sunni manual of Islamic sacred law, explains matter-of-factly that “the indemnity for the death or injury of a woman is one-half the indemnity paid for a man. The indemnity paid for a Jew or Christian is one-third the indemnity paid for a Muslim. The indemnity paid for a Zoroastrian is one-fifteenth that of a Muslim” (o4.9). The Qur’an calls “the unbelievers among the People of the Book,” that is, Jews and Christians who do not accept Islam, “the most vile of created beings” (Qur’an 98:6).

Sultan Hussein Tabandeh, the Shi’ite author of A Muslim Commentary on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, agrees, stating:

Thus if [a] Muslim commits adultery his punishment is 100 lashes, the shaving of his head, and one year of banishment. But if the man is not a Muslim and commits adultery with a Muslim woman his penalty is execution. … Similarly if a Muslim deliberately murders another Muslim he falls under the law of retaliation and must by law be put to death by the next of kin. But if a non-Muslim who dies at the hand of a Muslim has by lifelong habit been a non-Muslim, the penalty of death is not valid. Instead the Muslim murderer must pay a fine and be punished with the lash. … Since Islam regards non-Muslims as on a lower level of belief and conviction, if a Muslim kills a non-Muslim, then his punishment must not be the retaliatory death, since the faith and conviction he possesses is loftier than that of the man slain…Again, the penalties of a non-Muslim guilty of fornication with a Muslim woman are augmented because, in addition to the crime against morality, social duty and religion, he has committed sacrilege, in that he has disgraced a Muslim and thereby cast scorn upon the Muslims in general, and so must be executed. … Islam and its peoples must be above the infidels, and never permit non-Muslims to acquire lordship over them.

But the Pope’s encyclical is certain to ignore all of this, and it is likely that the pontiff is completely unaware of it. The encyclical will mislead millions of Catholics into a complacency that could be fatal.

“Leave them; they are blind guides. And if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit” (Matthew 15:14).

Waking up to a news cycle trying to convince you that President Trump does not respect members of the military, or dismisses their sacrifice, should not be viewed as just another poorly sourced hit piece. Even though, according to witnesses, that is precisely what The Atlantic story is. It is the intent of the anonymous sources that should rattle you.

While researching Ukraine around the time of Trump’s impeachment, I came across a bit of research that bothered me. The research was from academic and diplomat Michael McFaul. McFaul served as ambassador to Russia under President Barack Obama and was the architect of the Russian “reset.”

In the early 2000s, he studied the so-called color revolutions in the former states of the Soviet Union. McFaul identified the seven elements of successful revolutions in these countries. Reporting from The Atlantic and The New York Times fits into step number seven. Both publications have run stories highlighting racialgender, and sexual orientation divisions in the military in the past week.

To understand why this matters, we will go through McFaul’s seven steps one by one. We have seen these steps used during the Arab Spring and the Maidan Revolution in Ukraine. They were weaponized and taught overseas by the State Department under Hillary Clinton in a program called Tech Camps. This program taught activists how to build movements using technology.

The groups were then activated around an invigorating event. Clearly, the event being leveraged now is the 2020 election.

Trump Is ‘Literally Hitler’

The first element of a successful color revolution, according to McFaul, is a semi-autocratic rather than fully-autocratic regime. This narrative about President Trump has been pervasive in the media and echoed by prominent Democrats since before he was elected. Despite all evidence to the contrary, the president is consistently painted as walking the line between constitutional order and authoritarianism. Sometimes he is accused of crossing it.

In the last month, Democrats and the corporate media have resurfaced the narrative that President Trump will not accept the election results if Biden wins. They assert that he will refuse to concede and will have to be forced out of the White House if he loses the election.

The administration’s actions to protect the federal courthouse in Portland were also framed as evidence of Trump’s authoritarian tendencies. Speaker Nancy Pelosi called federal law enforcement officers the president’s stormtroopers. Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan declared it a dress rehearsal for martial law.

Trump’s move to reduce federal funding to cities that fail to protect their citizens and defund police departments is also being framed as beyond his constitutional power. As if the federal government using funding as a carrot and a stick to get states to implement their preferred programs hasn’t been the norm for decades.

None of this is based in reality, and it does not ring true to anyone following politics closely. Those voters are not the target. These narratives are aimed at the Democrat base and persuadable voters.

The Role of Never Trump

According to McFaul, the second requirement is an unpopular incumbent. Where to begin? The constant reminders that the president did not win the popular vote may be a good start. The implication is, and always was, that large swaths of voters nationwide did not like the president. In reality, most of Hillary Clinton’s popular vote surplus came from deep-blue California.

Democrats and the media use disaffected former Republicans as further proof Trump is unpopular within his own party. The DNC highlighted these supporters during their convention. These are the same people who are often on CNN and other networks to represent the typical Republican point of view.

The left also uses identity politics to try and make President Trump unpopular with specific constituencies. Note that Biden still uses the “very fine people” Charlottesville hoax in speeches. The media has also fawned over former Trump associates who have negative things to say about the president, like Michael Cohen, and even family members like Trump’s niece Mary.

Recent Peaceful Protests™ are also to demonstrate there are hordes of citizens who oppose President Trump. The media and Democrats try to frame this unrest as “Trump’s America,” despite all the evidence these riots have been supported by Democrats in power and even financially supported by members of the Biden campaign.

The Role of the Resistance

A third requirement, according to McFaul, is a united and organized opposition. The complete convergence of our institutions in opposing this president is breathtaking. It is so thorough that the Media Research Center has no problem creating extensive montages of media figures pushing Democrat focus-group-tested talking points. Entertainment is full of anti-Trump messaging, and even professional sports are now in the game. Add academia and even portions of the federal bureaucracy, and it is easy to control the narrative.

The opposition even has a name. The Resistance started shortly after the election. Using the hashtag or the phrase is a way to signal you are on the team. Any group can join the broader movement and oppose the president on their own terms.

Polling since the conventions is reinforcing the idea that the president is unpopular. Poorly constructed polls have been pushed out by corporate media outlets for the last week that either oversample specific populations or survey all American adults. With less than two months until Elections Day, polls should be assessing likely voters. At a minimum, registered voters should be the respondents. However, unless people read the poll details, they would not understand the game being played.

The Push for Mail-In Voting

It is not that Democrats are not aware of the problems with mail-in voting. It has caused problems in their own primary in New York City and in an election that has been thrown out in Paterson, New Jersey. It has also been reported that between 2012 and 2018, at least one in five mail-in ballots went missing in elections nationwide. Democrats are counting on this, and it is why they are pushing so hard for it.

McFaul says the fourth ingredient in a successful color revolution is an ability to quickly drive home the point that voting results were falsified. Democrats are setting up 2020 so that either side can make this claim. As the Bloomberg funded group Hawkfish noted in a recent report, Democrat voters will be far more likely to vote by mail than Republicans.

Hawkfish predicts a false landslide for Trump on election night that will erode as mail-in votes are counted. Depending on how this rolls out, it could look very suspicious to Republican voters who understand the fraud potential with mail-in ballots. Likewise, if a large number of mail-in votes are missing or thrown out for technical reasons, Democrats will scream disenfranchisement. Yet, Democrats are the ones setting their voters up to be disenfranchised by pushing COVID-19 panic porn.

This chaos will all impact the way our election typically proceeds as required by law. Local election results will be challenged in court nationwide, and it will make the “hanging chad” controversy in Bush v. Gore look like child’s play. Results will be delayed for weeks and threaten the deadlines to confirm results at the state level. According to one analysis in The Wall Street Journalentire states could be disenfranchised.

Democrats and their allies in the media are perfectly willing to destroy our faith in a safe and fair election that leads to the peaceful transfer of power our republic has relied on for more than two centuries. These are the lengths they will go to in order to gain power. They are pushing mail-in voting despite health experts saying in-person voting is safe.

The Role of the Media
It should not surprise you to know that requirement number five is having enough independent media to inform citizens about the falsified vote. As Ben Shapiro noted, the media is simply the PR wing for the Biden campaign at this point. Sharyl Attkisson went a step further and outlined the current information operation regarding the military:

Further, Democrat operatives, including John Podesta, did an election war game. The results were published in The Washington Post, and it advanced the idea that the only way to avoid violence is a Biden landslide. It also laid out the Democrats’ response to a loss in 2020, which included having California, Oregon, and Washington secede from the United States. Then they would wait to see how the military responded.

Whether the corporate media will frame whatever narrative the Democrats need them to is not in question. They are already doing it and have been since 2016. They framed President Trump as an illegitimate leader based on the fiction of Russian collusion then. Now they are eagerly resurfacing that meme based on a leak from a classified briefing. They simply ignore the fact that the same briefing said China and Iran are working hard to get Biden elected and are actually acting in more overt ways.

The media also still carries water for Stacey Abrams, who has never conceded her gubernatorial race in Georgia. The media insists the election was stolen—with no proof and a substantial amount of information to the contrary. At the DNC, they even put Abrams on the governor’s panel. They said the same of Andrew Gillum’s race in Florida until the unfortunate hotel scandal surfaced. The narrative is that red states suppress minority votes so that these results will be questioned.

Role of the Riots

Of course, none of this matters unless large groups of Americans are angry and ready to protest. As McFaul notes, a political opposition capable of mobilizing tens of thousands or more demonstrators to protest electoral fraud is necessary. Think about the riots this summer and put “killing of a black man by police officers” at number four, and the whole pattern still works. The unrest and destruction should be seen as a dry run.

The DNC also partners with two organizations, Act Blue and Action Network, who are allied with one another. Together these platforms allow progressive groups, including antifa, to raise money and organize protests electronically. It gives progressive activist groups the ability to privately and quickly communicate with members of their mailing lists. There is even a degree of list-sharing between the groups. From Action Network’s announcement of the DNC partnership:

Trump and the Military

The last requirement McFaul lists is divisions among the regimes’ coercive forces. This element is the most dangerous and sinister one on the list. It has also been going on for four years. The intelligence and federal law enforcement apparatus were weaponized against President Trump before the election. Leaks from these agencies have been constant and divisive.

Retired generals have come out against President Trump. Former Defense Secretary General James Mattis openly criticized Pentagon officials and the president for their response to the riots this summer. Former law enforcement officials, including attorneys general, U.S. attorneys, sheriffs, and police chiefs have also come out for Biden.

President Trump has generally maintained support from the rank-and-file military as well as law enforcement officers. In fact, several police unions have endorsed him, including the largest, the Fraternal Order of Police.

The recent full-court press is meant to diminish President Trump with the troops. As noted in the war game, Democrats will take drastic action in the case of a loss and wait to see what the military does. This disgusting narrative is meant to encourage them to prefer Biden.

Democrats are actually willing to try and politicize the military, a despicable move, to gain power. You should expect moves to try and ruin his reputation with police officers as well.

All In the Open

Democrats and their allies are not even hiding the ball. Hillary Clinton has openly encouraged Joe Biden not to concede under any circumstances. John Kerry has hinted that we are getting very close to a revolution because of disaffected voters. Other Democrat leaders have endorsed the riots and encouraged violence. The radicals in the street have openly supported violence and actively call for a revolution.

Even the professor is giving the game away. McFaul, who is now a Stanford professor, has been openly tweeting about his theory for days now. He did an entire thread after the RNC about how it was typical of an autocrat and effectively framing the president’s supporters as brownshirts. McFaul also commented on voter disenfranchisement in Georgia and is pushing the Russian interference meme. He also deleted a tweet comparing Trump to Putin for the president’s statements on education. This morning, it was not shocking to see this since-deleted tweet:

The Obama Bros, like Ben Rhodes, amplify him. McFaul appears on MSDNC and CNNCCP. You can also see the lefty blue-check brigade mimic his talking points if you watch closely.

What to Do?

There is no reason to believe this narrative will not continue to be amplified right through Election Day. It is up to each one of us to correct the record with everyone we know and vote in person as if your life depends on it. Ensure others do also. Remind people about early voting, which has slow periods where it is easier to socially distance. If your state is implementing mail-in voting because of the pandemic, petition your county to open polling places and educate your neighbors and communities about how many mail-in ballots get lost.

The only way to head off chaos is to make sure we can have faith in the election process. The only way to do that is to reject the fundamental changes to the system that Democrats are proposing.

Several whistleblowers have exposed how critical race theory is being used in federal agencies. Now President Trump has directed Russel Vought, director of the Office of Management and Budget, to issue a directive banning this type of training. The directive is an excellent move by the president that will prevent the erosion of trust and productivity in our federal agencies. From the directive:

For example, according to press reports, employees across the Executive Branch have been required to attend trainings where they are told that “virtually all White people contribute to racism” or where they are required to say that they “benefit from racism.” According to press reports, in some cases these training have further claimed that there is racism embedded in the belief that America is the land of opportunity or the belief that the most qualified person should receive a job.

These types of “trainings” not only run counter to the fundamental beliefs for which our Nation has stood since its inception, but they also engender division and resentment within the Federal workforce. We can be proud that as an employer, the Federal government has employees of all races, ethnicities, and religions. We can be proud that Americans from all over the country seek to join our workforce and dedicate themselves to public service. We can be proud of our continued efforts to welcome all individuals who seek to serve their fellow Americans as Federal employees. However, we cannot accept our employees receiving training that seeks to undercut our core values as Americans and drive division within our workforce.

This assertion is precisely correct, especially since the precursor to critical race theory training was given the label “diversity” training.

The Insane Grift of Critical Race Theory Training In Federal Agencies

Volumes of research have demonstrated that this type of training has virtually no return on investment, especially when the trainings are mandatory. From Harvard Business Review:

It shouldn’t be surprising that most diversity programs aren’t increasing diversity. Despite a few new bells and whistles, courtesy of big data, companies are basically doubling down on the same approaches they’ve used since the 1960s—which often make things worse, not better. Firms have long relied on diversity training to reduce bias on the job, hiring tests and performance ratings to limit it in recruitment and promotions, and grievance systems to give employees a way to challenge managers. Those tools are designed to preempt lawsuits by policing managers’ thoughts and actions. Yet laboratory studies show that this kind of force-feeding can activate bias rather than stamp it out. As social scientists have found, people often rebel against rules to assert their autonomy. Try to coerce me to do X, Y, or Z, and I’ll do the opposite just to prove that I’m my own person.

The programs also don’t increase diversity in organizations. The study gave an example from the financial industry:

It’s no wonder that Wall Street firms now require new hires to sign arbitration contracts agreeing not to join class actions. They have also expanded training and other diversity programs. But on balance, equality isn’t improving in financial services or elsewhere. Although the proportion of managers at U.S. commercial banks who were Hispanic rose from 4.7% in 2003 to 5.7% in 2014, white women’s representation dropped from 39% to 35%, and black men’s from 2.5% to 2.3%. The numbers were even worse in investment banks (though that industry is shrinking, which complicates the analysis). Among all U.S. companies with 100 or more employees, the proportion of black men in management increased just slightly—from 3% to 3.3%—from 1985 to 2014. White women saw bigger gains from 1985 to 2000—rising from 22% to 29% of managers—but their numbers haven’t budged since then. Even in Silicon Valley, where many leaders tout the need to increase diversity for both business and social justice reasons, bread-and-butter tech jobs remain dominated by white men.

If you were ever required to attend one of these training sessions, you might recall the concept of unconscious bias. The idea is that there are things you are not aware of that can lead to discrimination, and the training attempted to itemize them. Behaviors such a stereotyping and the halo effect were explained, and techniques for avoiding them were provided.

This training didn’t blame or accuse attendees. It was couched as providing information. As it turns out, the concept of unconscious bias has been pretty well debunked, but it is still used in many workplaces. Even though it was informational in nature, it was still ineffective and often activated bias.

Critical race theory training is far worse. The premise is that if you are white, you are racist. Also, you are part of a racist system constructed solely to oppress minorities. You are judged to be a part of a guilty collective and cannot escape its original sin. The failure of people of other races to succeed is because the system will not allow them to, and this confers privilege on you that you must acknowledge.

If you deny any of this, critical race theory states this proves you are indeed racist. If you ask for evidence, you deny your privilege. As Christopher Rufo noted after a leak of the training given at Sandia National Laboratory, the workplace training was just one big struggle session. The participants were required to pen apologies to minority employees for not recognizing their own privilege.

Insanity Wrap #28: Nuke Lab Goes Nuclear on White Men, Minneapolis Says ‘F— You, Pay Me’

Insane? Without a doubt. The theory can also be repeated based on gender or any other immutable characteristic the social justice crowd is focused on. It will always place you in a group and assign oppressor or victim status to you. It is toxic beyond belief and will dissolve workplace productivity and relationships.

President Trump, recognizing how this training is antithetical to American values such as hard work, competence, and being judged as an individual, has taken an excellent step in the right direction. With any luck, this move at the federal level will give some CEOs courage to resist their woke HR interns and say no to this workplace culture-killing curriculum.

Hopefully, a similar directive will go out from the Department of Education. While I believe education is a local responsibility, the teachers’ unions and Black Lives Matter are pushing this curriculum on a nationwide scale. There have been hundreds of files leaked to Glenn Beck that give examples of incorporating social justice concepts into math, science, and social studies. You may have seen examples on Facebook or Twitter. Teachers are not coming up with this on their own. It is being given to them.

The only way to stop the toxic effects of critical race theories and other critical studies is to root them out of our institutions. Getting this out of the federal government is just one battle won. Public schools should be next.

Trump Is Right: ‘Our Children Are Taught to Hate’ America, and Betsy DeVos Should Take Radical Action to Fix It

Trump Takes Aim at Marxist Propaganda Behind the BLM Riots

republished below in full unedited for informational, educational & research purposes:

On Friday, President Donald Trump ordered that federal agencies cease leading any training sessions that push “critical race theory,” “white privilege,” or any other “propaganda effort” teaching that either the United States or any race is inherently racist or evil. On Sunday, he announced that the Department of Education (DOE) is investigating schools that teach The New York Times‘ “1619 Project” and warned that any school doing so “will not be funded.”

Trump is pushing back against the rising tide of Marxist critical theory. This noxious ideology, championed in the 1619 Project and in the “anti-racism” movement supporting the official Marxist Black Lives Matter organization, has inspired much of the violent looting, rioting, and arson in cities across America this summer. Indeed, some have referred to the riots as “the 1619 riots” for this reason.

Trump’s assault on Marxist critical theory

On Friday, Russell Vought, director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), sent a memoto the heads of executive departments and agencies, ordering them to cease using curricula based on Marxist critical theory for their employee trainings.

“It has come to the President’s attention that Executive Branch agencies have spent millions of taxpayer dollars to date ‘training’ government workers to believe divisive, anti-American propaganda,” Vought wrote. The OMB director seems to have been referring to the 1,483 pages of Department of Defense (DOD) training materials Judicial Watch unearthed in July. An April 2015 training, for instance, branded the idea that “individual effort is key to success” as a form of “Racist Behavior.”

Vought referenced training sessions that teach that “virtually all White people contribute to racism” and others claiming that “there is racism embedded in the belief that America is the land of opportunity or the belief that the most qualified person should receive a job.”

“These types of ‘trainings’ not only run counter to the fundamental beliefs for which our Nation has stood since its inception, but they also engender division and resentment within the Federal workforce,” Vought wrote. “The President has directed me to ensure that Federal agencies cease and desist from using taxpayer dollars to fund these divisive, un-American prpaganda training sessions.”

While OMB will issue more detailed guidance in the future, Vought instructed federal agencies to “identify all contracts or other agency spending related to any training on ‘critical race theory,’ ‘white privilege,’ or any other training or propaganda effort that teaches or suggests either (1) that the United States is an inherently racist or evil country or (2) that any race or ethnicity is inherently racist or evil.” Federal agencies should find ways to divert federal funds away from these sessions.

“The divisive, false, and demeaning propaganda of the critical race theory movement is contrary to all we stand for as Americans and should have no place in the Federal government,” Vought concluded.

On Sunday, President Trump also brought a similar strategy to the Department of Education (DOE). He responded to someone warning that California schools have started teaching from the 1619 Project, which claims that America’s true founding came not with the Declaration of Independence in 1776 but with the arrival of the first black slaves in 1619.

(While the first black slaves arrived in the land that would become South Carolina as early as 1526, the 1619 Project is more concerned with branding America as inherently and fundamentally racist than with particular dates. The project’s founder, Nikole Hannah-Jones, has admitted that her enterprise is “not about history,” but rather about “memory” and the “national narrative.”)

As for schools teaching from the 1619 Project, the president tweeted that the “Department of Education is looking at this. If so, they will not be funded!”

Marxist critical theory and the “1619 riots”

The 1619 Project uses the very same Marxist critical theory that the DOD taught under Obama to demonize America and inspire an unguided and destructive revolution. Portland activist Lilith Sinclair expressed a similar idea when she said, “There’s still a lot of work to undo the harm of colonized thought that has been pushed onto Black and indigenous communities.” As examples of “colonized thought,” she mentioned Christianity and the “gender binary.” She said she organizes for “the abolition of … the United States as we know it.”

Marxist critical theory encourages people to deconstruct various aspects of society — such as capitalism, science the nuclear family, the Judeo-Christian tradition, even expectations of politeness (as the Smithsonian briefly taught) — as examples of white oppression. This inspires an aimless and destructive revolution.

When vandals toppled a statue of George Washington in Portland, they spray-painted “1619” on the statue. When Claremont’s Charles Kesler wrote in The New York Post “Call them the 1619 riots,” Hannah-Jones, responded (in a since-deleted tweet) that “it would be an honor” to claim responsibility for the destructive riots and the defamation of American Founding Fathers like George Washington.

In a November 9, 1995 op-ed, the 1619 Project founder condemned Christopher Columbus as “no different” from Adolf Hitler and demonized the “white race” as the true “savages” and “bloodsuckers.” She went on to describe “white America’s dream” as “colored America’s nightmare.” Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) expressed a similar sentiment when she called for the “dismantling” of America’s “economy and political system,” in order to root out supposed racist oppression.

Yet the “1619 riots” have arguably oppressed black people far more than the U.S. supposedly does. The riots have destroyed black livesblack livelihoods, and black monuments. At least 26 Americans have died in the riots, most of them black.

The president is correct. The federal government should not be inculcating Marxist critical theory propaganda into its training sessions. America’s schools should not embrace the 1619 Project’s ultimate goals for crafting the national narrative. It is long past time Americans stand up to this pernicious ideology.
