I have to scratch my head when I read some of the books published for young audiences. Joey: The Story of Joe Biden, by his wife, Jill, was just released June 30, 2020. The target audience is children from four to eight. Picture reading the following excerpt to your own precious four-year-old:

"Always eager to prove he had guts, he never refused a dare, even when it was dangerous. He climbed atop a mountain of still-burning coal . . . He raced along the pipes high above a river. Once he grabbed a heavy rope and swung over a construction site, imitating Tarzan—without a net."

How many parents want their children to prove they are gutsy by taking "even dangerous dares?"

Responding to a dare doesn’t always turn out so well. Teenagers have been influenced by a stunt from the movie, “The Program.” They lay in the middle of busy highways “apparently to prove they had nerves of steel.”  

A young rugby player ate a slug on a ‘mate’s’ dare. Now he’s dead.

An 8-year-old Florida girl died more than four months after she was injured while drinking boiling water through a straw on a dare.

A 19-year-old Mississippi man died on Saturday on Instagram Live, after accepting a dare from a group of his friends.

Certainly, the news media only reports on dares taken that do not end well. Mrs. Biden was just trying to make her husband relatable to the children, and did not consider the potential outcome of those words and the associated illustration. I would have thought that a children's book editor might have brought this to her attention.

Jill Biden was interviewed by The View about her new book about her husband’s childhood. She tells about how Joe stuttered as a child:

He had to fight bullies because he was bullied because he was a stutterer…

I want them to know that … Joe will be a strong and steady leader. I use the phrase, “Give me the ball” … I couldn't know when I started writing the book in the fall how really ironic it is that now… Joe is saying to Americans, “Give me the ball,” … let me shoulder it, because so many people are suffering from so much and I think that you know it's Joe’s steady leadership that I think people are really hungry for, and I think every president is known for something special about their presidency. … I think Joe will be known for being an empathetic leader because of all he's been through and because of the tragedies in his life-- because he did stutter, because his father did lose his job, because he did work at the only all-black pool in the city and saw what people of color went through, and so I think that empathy is gonna be Joe's greatest strength.   

This book will be read by adults to the children in this age range who cannot yet read. These children from four to eight cannot vote, but perhaps this message about “empathetic Joe who will carry the ball” will not be lost on the adult readers who can cast a ballot.

Another selection for the four- to eight-year-old market is Mayor Pete: The Story of Pete Buttigieg (Who Did It First?) This book, by Rob Sanders, will be released July 21, 2020. The Amazon description reads:

When Pete Buttigieg announced he was running for president, he became the first openly gay candidate to run for the Democratic party’s presidential nomination and the first millennial ever to pursue the office…the young boy from South Bend grew into a man devoted to helping others. Mayor Pete: The Story of Pete Buttigieg celebrates the life of an American who dared to be the first and who imagined a better world for everyone.

Mayor Pete is no longer in the presidential race, but at least the youngsters will know that Buttigieg was the first candidate married to a partner of the same gender.

The People of Pride series is for children from ages two to five. These 22-page board books feature Ellen DeGeneres (March 24,2020), and Harvey Milk (May 19, 2020). The third book in the series, about RuPaul Charles, is due to be released September 1st of 2020.

In this beautifully illustrated board book series, parents can celebrate the accomplishments of LGBTQ heroes, and introduce their little ones to the trailblazers who have shaped our world.

The Joey and Mayor Pete books were intended for children four to eight, and the People of Pride board books for children from two to five. What about books for the even younger set?

No! My First Book of Protest board book, by Julie Merberg, is for babies 3 months to 3 years. It’s obviously vital for infants to learn about Gloria Steinham and Greta Thunberg before experiencing table food.

Ex-Muslim and former communist Ridvan Aydemir, known as the ‘Apostate Prophet’, does not believe European and North American cities should have allowed the Islamic Call to Prayer (Adhan), a “warlike declaration”, to be blasted through amplifiers fives time a day, everyday, during the month of Ramadan.

Aydemir, a former devout Sunni Muslim who was born to a Turkish family in Germany, explains how the Adhan declares all religions except Islam to be false and is a symbol and declaration of Islamic supremacy. Aydemir explains the offensive nature of the Adhan, comparing it to “singing and broadcasting nazi songs in Jewish cities and neighborhoods.”

Imagine escaping a country that would “jail, lynch, beat and torture” their citizens for leaving Islam, only to be forced to listen to the Adhan again. Aydemir explained:

…many other people around the world who live in countries where they cannot leave Islam. Well they can’t say I have left Islam because there they could be executed, they could be punished, they could be thrown in jail, lynched, beaten, tortured… Imagine we come from those cultures – come to the west, come to free countries like America and Canada – and here suddenly we hear that same dominating supremacist march over us and our naive American neighbor says well it’s just their religion let him have it…

Aydemir assures Westerners that, “There is no religious obligation for them [Muslims] to blast it [Adhan] outside in cities that are in non-Muslim lands.” He assures westerners that are bound by political correctness, that their “concerns and anger about this intrusive, this vile practice” of religious supremacy is not “Islamophobic”, nor is it hateful or intolerant.

if you – a Western person – since we have to be so politically correct, if you want to reject and voice your disagreement, your concern your anger about this intrusive this vile practice then you are not bigoted, you’re not Islamophobic, you’re not hateful, you’re not intolerant, you’re not any of those bad things. You are simply rejecting a shameless disturbing practice of religious supremacism.

According to Fandom Ridvan Aydemir:

…was formerly a devout Sunni Muslim who was born to a Turkish family in Germany. Eventually Ridvan would move to Turkey picking up various ideologies while there (such as being a communist for a short time). Ridvan would serve his mandatory military service in Turkey and would later be heavily interested in Islam. Raised in a conservative Muslim environment, Ridvan’s study in Islam became extensive, however he would also doubt the religion and its tenets. After several years, Ridvan became more skeptical about Islam and he eventually left the religion altogether. This disappointed his parents who were conservative Muslims and they mostly cut contacts from him. Ridvan would eventually immigrate to the United States to flee potential persecution by the Muslim community. He would create his YouTube channel on May 17, 2017.

The self-proclaimed “revolutionary Marxist” Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL) is behind “Pivot to Peace,” a pro-China grouping of prominent American communists calling for the United States to submit to China under the guise of promoting “peace.”

An online petition features such radical signatories as famous Weather Underground terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, Medea Benjamin of the pro-Venezuela organization Code Pink, radical film director Oliver Stone, self-described communist George Ciccariello-Maher who famously tweeted “[A]ll I want for Christmas is White Genocide,” and pro-North Korea Activist Christine Ahn just to name a few.

On their website, the PSL explains why they support abolishing the police, giving key insight into their goals.

The Party for Socialism and Liberation stands for the overthrow, dismantling and complete replacement of the core institutions of the capitalist state, which are the ‘special bodies of armed men,’ namely the

police, prisons, military and courts. This core of the capitalist state cannot be reformed into a neutral body. It must be abolished by means of a revolution.

Considering that the PSL is behind the Pivot to Peace initiative, it is only logical to conclude that the goal of the movement is also ultimately to “overthrow” America as a “capitalist” state.

RAIR Foundation USA spoke with expert on subversive movements Trevor Loudon, who took a look at the list of communists who signed the petition, noting that in addition to the Party for Socialism and Liberation, several Marxist organizations were represented, such as the Freedom Road Socialist Organization, Workers World Party, Communist Party USA and the Democratic Socialists of America.

“These communist organizations are combining forces to support the Beijing line,” Loudon explained. Communist front groups pose as regular citizens but in this case are really just acting as puppets for the Chinese Communist Party. On their Twitter page, the PSL front “Pivot to Peace” claims to consist of “concerned Americans who have come together to oppose the United States’ drive towards aggression on China.”

By claiming to be for “peace” and “friendship” with China, the “Pivot to Peace” group seeks to undermine efforts being made by the United States to hold the Chinese Communist Party accountable.

As previously reported at RAIR Foundation USA, PSL “supports the communist governments of Cuba, Venezuela, China, Iran and North Korea.” They are often found agitating local communities such as in the case of the tragic death of Robert Fuller, 24, in California’s Antelope Valley, where the PSL pushed the vile false narrative that Fuller was lynched. His death was ultimately ruled as a suicide.

The ANSWER Coalition, which organizes anti-American protests, is also a front group for the PSL. During the Pivot to Peace inaugural webinar held earlier this month, the anti-American participants bashed America and praised China, parroting such propaganda like so-called “hate crimes” rising against Asian Americans, a claim that has been debunked at RAIR Foundation USA.

The Chinese propaganda was quickly picked up by a prominent Chinese Newspaper. The Pivot to Peace Twitter page quickly bragged about the exposure.
